We are Abster Douglas and Sister Douglas this morning they are least wonderful people were

Amen, all right. The Bible says, every good gift and perfect gift

is from above and coming down from the Father of lights, with who is

the variableness? Neither shadow of turning? Amen, And that scripture there begin

to stand out for me as God open it up to me, And the

and the word in that that begin or the phrase there that begin to capture

my attention as the Lord led me was neither shadow of turning. And the

Bible tells us we should be like Jesus. Amen. The Bible tells us

to strive to be perfect. That we are to be trying to live the

best we can and aren't active by the word of God and are faster we

already know. The Bible says, he that knows to do good and does

it not to him and sin right. So after Lord begins to shine the

light of his love in our hearts and illuminates us, we must follow that

illumination. Now, the word shadow means a dark area or shape produced by

an object coming between the rays of light and the surface. And so what

we end up having sometimes in our lives as Christians is we'll have things come

between us and the sun right nor the physical sunshine. But that s o

n the Jesus Christ sunshadow, the Son of God that shines into us.

The Bible said his word would be a lamp on our feet and alighting too

our path. And so when God illuminates us or something, and we begin

to understand it, we must not let things become begin to come between us

and Jesus. Now, it's easy to get complacent and start just doing,

you know, things the way you want to do right, and you just

you kind of begin to let that shadow begin to let something come between you

and Jesus. Now over and first John and I got quite a bit of

scripture here to read as we flipped through, just to kind of show you

how the Lord had directed me. So first John, chapter number one and

verse five will start there. It is that this, then is the message

which you have heard of him, and declare unto you that the Lord is

like and then him as no darkness at all. If we say that we

have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the

truth. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light,

we have fellowship one with another in the blood of Jesus Christ, his

son cleanse us up from all sin. Now that go see that said in

him is no darkness at all. And if we ran over there in James

that there is no shadow of turning. So we are to be amen with

no darkness. Or you could say we are to be children of the light.

Right, And what would produce a shadow in a Christian's life? You

could ask me, and I could tell you some things. And I'm sure

you already know some things that the pastor and through the power of God,

has already beginning to preach things out of the Word of God, maybe that

you wasn't quite doing it, or that you didn't quite understand. And these

things will produce a barrier between us and Jesus. Now, if we're striving

to be perfect, we can't afford to have something between us and Jesus.

Right, they mean our desires to have a open to that shadow which wee

hear our soul and having a man a I right, and our perfect desires

should be the we have an open door to heaven. If the Bible said,

Jesus is our advocate. Amen, But if if we have something hindering

our prayer of the Bible, this would be something you could say with hinder

your prayer. The Bible said couples or married people shouldn't argue or their prayers

are gonna be hindering. Don't know that. So there's something that would create

a barrier, you can say, there's something that's when I cast a shadow

in your heart a man we are to be buil grows and we can't get

distracted and have the devil begin to deal our light and cast shadows. Now

we already know, but a shadow is it is something produced by something.

Because coming between you and the light, a man, what can come between

us and the light? A man of what could make a shadow? I'm

glad you asked. Amen, you probably a second, Timothy. Let's look

at chaffter number three in verse seventeen. And and I'm not at all trying

to beat you over the head this morning. What I want to do is

encourage you, Amen, because the goal we all have a common adversary.

Amen, that's the devil. Amen. He isn't here just to play games

with us. He hasn't here to prosperous, He's here to kill still and

destroy. Am to we has a children of God could be hindered, a

man in our prayers could not go through, or we couldnt have the relationship.

But God we need if we have hindrances. So here, second Timothy

is some things that might cast some shadows in your life. Amen. Second

Timothy three said stuffer. And they want this all this? Know also that

in the last days perilous times shall come? Are we living in perilous times?

If we are? Amen? For men shall be lovers of their old

self. Amen. There's a shadow conecious. Amen, there's a shadow Amen

wanting something. Amen, so desperately. Amen, there isn't yours. They

would be what they would be boosters. They would like a brag of their

acosta. They had all the attention on himself. What is that gonna do?

That's gonna produce? Amen, something between you and the Savior argos Christians.

Now hard, he said, is to have nothing between us. Amen,

So we would there would be bolsters. Amen, that's you a man.

I don't know that's you, but you got to get that out.

And then they would be proud, So pride you already know, amen,

is what got the devil cast down. And now there is no room in

heaven for pride, and there would be no room in the Christian's ball of

God for pride to go. Pride lead us to destructure, all right,

he said they would be blasphemers. And now I teach to kill a children's

class. Amen. Here at back home, at best the hole in his

church have a wonderful class. Amen. And the this year someone is very

important that I can done. I get to talk about often it says they

would be what disobedient compare a man. So children and you have as an

important and then your relationship as it is as important with God a man as

is something that will cast a shadow in your life, because disobedience, no

doubt is, often comes and then from a spirit of rebellion, and a

rebellion and stubborness is as if you went out and found a winch house and

begin to commit great gross sins. And then you might as well go to

the wench house if you're gonna have rebellion. And that's what the Bible says,

and then it says, it's as if so another word, you might

as well know it, if you're gonna have rebellion, and if that is

a gross shadow that we can't afoord to that, Amy, I'm gonna ho

unthankful, Oh God, and man, I hope we're not a thankful this

morning. We are blessed to be children of God. They would be unholy

without natural affections, truth breakers, false accusers inconfidence, fierce despisers of those

that are good. Amen. When it don't stop there, you see all

these things that can cast you autos. He says, they would be traders,

heavy god minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, Old

God. There's a lot of people in America, Amen, nerol the Island,

Amen, across the world that instead of coming to Sunday morning worship and

realize to be a part of the importance of it. And man, they'd

rather go do what they want to do on Sunday, and that is lovers

of pleasure more than lovers of God, and then get out six days down

the week. Amen to don't do what you want to do during the day,

Amenber then how come it is on Sunday morning, Amen, that's the

day you choose a man. Why because the devil is trying to put a

barrier between you and God. Amen. The Bible said, for sake,

not the assiming of yourselves together. Amen. So that is what we're doing

this morning. We're in accordance with the word of God. Even now we

have a symbol. Amen. So we can't Amen, love, the love

of pleasure get in the way of the love of God. Ameny. Now

another thing verse by said, having a form of godliness, but denying the

power thereof Now what does it say right there? From such turn away?

Amen, they'll put a distance between you. Amen. Of that sort of

person, Amen, that person that will amen act like they have that relationship

with God. Amen. But really and truly they have no power. And

I won't talk a little bit more about that and expel them here later on

on just what that means for a believer. Amen. But the Bible says

that Jesus had no shadow of turning man. If we already know the Bible

said, it's the small foxes that was full of mine. Amen. Praise

God because the small foxes can get him the easiest. Amen, when they

don't seem like big sins. Amen, the Christian's life. Amen, it

will be that small fox, a man that begins to creep in and trying

to distance you from God. It'll be that small fact if I stayed up

a little too late so I'm not gonna get up and read and pray this

morning, that's a small fox, and that will create a distance between you

and God. And then something seems so small, but in reality and the

grand scope of things, they are a man devastating to the Christians walk with

God. If I was a budding him is no darkness at all. Amen,

No thought of backsliding or giving up or turning around a man, neither

shadow of turning. Now, if I was to ask each one of you

to go take a magnifying glass down to the shore, and you were to

get me the smallest grain of sand that you could possibly find, Okay,

and man, you had to do it with tweezers, whatever you had to

do. If you brought it back to me, and man, the smallest

grain of sand you could find on the seashore this morning would cast the shadow

you go realize the power of that. And then because anything no matter the

size of it, again, is something that creates a barrier between a man.

You have a problem. The Bible said he had neither shadow of attorney.

So if you have that, that thought that runs across your mind,

well, maybe the saint for me, or maybe I can't do it,

or maybe I'm just not going to go to church this morning. Those are

dangerous thoughts if because the devil can begin to use that as a barrier a

man, and that will only grow and the idle mind of the devil's workshop,

as they say, and we know that we must be someone that is

a proactive Christians, someone that's taking action for ourselves. Amen. Another person's

prayers ain't gonna get us to heaven. It is not Amen. What we

have with God, it's gonna get us. We are will be held accountl

Amen. And when we're put under the Heaven's microscope and God against us,

imagine the beautiful throne room of heaven and you walk in, Amen, what

in your life would cast a shadow? Amen? What in your life on

that day? God? And will say, well, that did adventure?

Amen? And I know there are things that maybe some are learning this morning.

Amen. But the minute your pastor preaches it, Amen, you now

know. So now when you have known, and you do against the word

of God, you commit sin. Because the Bible said, he that knoweth

to do good with it, not to him a man. It's not sent

to the rest of the congregation. It's not send to the pastors, sent

to us as individuals. The one committed the fact a man, we're going

to be held personally responsible and man, so the Bible said. And this

is this is where I wanted to talk about this, because the Lord,

the Lord stirred my heart on this as well. If you flip over the

tide is chapter number three, in verse number ten. I spoke just a

minute ago about this, But the word vad relationships come to my heart this

morning. And what what we got to be careful of doing is trying to

have conversation with those a man that would negatively affect our relationship with God.

All right. So Tide is chapter three in verse number ten, and said

a man that is inherited after the second admonition, jen okay, so after

you have reproved him, amen twice, and he is not responsive to the

word of God. Amen. You should no longer in danger your faith,

Amen, and risk them asking questions that will stir up doubt. The Bible

spoke of that in the Word of God. The people that would go out

of their way to have arguments and words and strifes of words. Amen.

In other words, they would begin to tussle, they would argue with words.

Amen. That will gender can that will begin to create confusion and stir

up doubt. Now we have no room and the Christian walk with God.

Amen. For doubt or something like that. The Bible already told us evil

corrupt, evil communications, corrupt good manners. Amen. So evil communications,

we could say this morning, we will begin to cast shadows on your good

morals. Amen. Now love, praise God. Let's flip forward to you

first TIMI. Amen. Let's let's google. Let's see here verse Timothy six

and three. Amen. Verse Timothy six and three. Praise God. If

any man teach otherwise and consent not to wholesome words, so there it is.

If they're if they're not consenting to the wholesome words that the pastor's preaching,

and they're talking about and behind their back we already heard they would be

fault accusers. Amen. The Bibles, that even the words of our Lord

Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godess he is proud,

knowing nothing but doting about questions and strifes of words. There it is

now what comes from that? It tells you here there comes in the out

of such a one, there comes strife. Out of such a one,

railings, evil, surmising, perverse disputings of men, corrupt mind, and

they are destituted the truth to the posting that gain is godingness. Now what

does this tell us as a Christian? This is a commandment. The word

of God is a commandment. Here what it says that from such withdrawal thyselves.

And after you got to be careful because communication with evil doers, Andy

begin to corrupt what you know to be truth? Is the devil tries to

sow seeds of doubt. Don't we know the parable of the soler? How

one went in and begin to sow to so the terrors. Yeah, now

you couldn't see that at first, but I guarantee you at some point there

is a little, a little little from the elite for something sprouted through the

very moment that began to cast the shadow and men and God knows us under

the surface this morning, we can't afford for the devil to plant things in

our hearts through evil communications that will begin to cast shadows in our heart.

If we fell this test, we have messed up a man. God

has given us a great opportunity to live for him. But we get one

reboot and you get multiple lives, no this, you get one line.

You get one shot at this and then so protect your soul, guard your

heart with an upcomet. Amen, courage and diligence. Amen, Praise God.

The Bible said, what is done in the darkness will be brought to

life. Now what what was on my heart this morning? And what I

guess you were to say a by time on this would be are you shady

or are you shiny? Okay, Now, what we haven't termed in the

States, and y'all may use it here, we say that's a shady individual.

Now what that means is it means that the disc if you look this

term up shady individual, give this it means dishonest, unethical or untrustworthy individual.

Amen. Now we are not to be dishonest Christian? Am I right?

Amen? Now? Now here's something Amen, that I can preach on

the wild because I'm a pastor, sun Amen, when I've seen people that

are unethical A man, y'all know what ethics are. Amen. You honor

your pastor, you treat you good, You listen when he preaches something from

God. Amen. You got to be someone with a good heart great to

receive the good seat. And then so I would encourage you this morning.

Don't be unethical, Amen, don't be untrustworthy. Hey, they can your

pastor trust you from one week to the next that when you come back next

week, you're going to be the same Christian. That's their priority. On

the Sunday Amen, there's Christians as Christians on Sunday morning. Amen. But

Monday through shattery, Oh a man? Is that true? Yea amen?

But we're gonna be trustworthy. Someone in our pastor is say our justment than

God. You are all knowing. But that individual was trustworthy to me,

they were trustworthy commounts. Amen. Is that is that? All right?

Amen? So be a be a honest person, be ethical, and be

a trustworthy individual. If you're not, you're gonna be one of those shady

individuals. Man. All right, you're gonna be someone that can't be trusted.

But we're not gonna be shady. We're gonna be shined. Okay.

The Bible said, we are the line of the world. Okay, and

we're getting to that. But goes that the latter half of mind of this

lesson this morning. Amen. But Matthew four and sixteen said the people with

sat in darkness saw a great life. Amen. That was our saving Amens

to then with said the region and the shadow of death, light is sprung

up. Now, light will spray up in your heart just like sinlin,

a man, God will begin to fertilize someone's heart that has good brown.

You're gonna plant that good seed in that heart a man. It's gonna grow

and it's gonna prosper. Amen. So here this morning, where's God,

the Bible saying, light sprung up where the shadow of death was a man

in that region? Amen? And here and Dominica and then light has from

dark. You'd ask me a where right here and morn and then God and

begin to let the light rise. And then when it's card will stay here

and go, light will grow, light will shine, Light will dispelled the

darkness. What is darkness? It's the absence of life. That's what darkness

is. A man, there isn't really no such thing as darkness other than

the absence of life. And a Christians Moorman's God. When you begin to

have darknessess because you have the absence of Jesus, rise, Amn. Domenica

has the absence of Jesus Christ, the absence of the true Gospel. Amen.

The America, you, the Florida, Aman, it has the absence

of the true Gospel. Yes, there are many people Amen, that are

heralding false doctrine. Amen, But that doesn't benefit the center. Amen,

that doesn't benefit them one bit. And then what will benefit the center?

The Bible said, it is true religion undeviled, and the Bible will down

up you will avid it divine what true religion and undefiled is. Amen.

And we are the bride of Christ. We are that one that has to

shine the life, Amen, into the dark world. Amen. Where his

gospel, they would sat in darkness and then saw a great life. Amen.

Matthew Viben fourteen seven. Ye are Amen's announced boondo and is talking to

you. And then each one sit in this chair. I would like you

to hear me. And then as if I'm speaking directly to you, and

then it says, ye are the lot of the world. A city that

is set upon a hill cannot be hid. And man, we're on a

hill this morning. You can see off is beautiful out there, a man,

if you are set on a hill, Amen, And ye are the

line of Dominica. Amen, Mount Line, you are the one that's going

to shine the line here. Amen, Praise God. I'm feel the Lord.

we're the only one in that region that is shining a lot. Just

about the whole state. We're the only ones that is shining the true gospel.

We don't realize what a responsibility that hit, Amen, that Florida is

in darkness, and we it is our personal responsibility a man. And here

Dominica is in darkness. They have so many souls and the all I drive

through the streets is it's beautiful, but man, and it stirs your heart

to realize someone's got to tell him, Ye are the line of the world.

Amen. The Bible said, ye are the soul of the earth.

Amen. I said, ye, are that one that is going to shine

the line A man raised God. Now we'll look over at uh, let's

look over at Looke Luke chapter number eleven. I read this and my bible

after the Lord, and start this actually Friday when I opened my bible,

or do my bible reading for that even this was just like God confirming to

me the message that I would would share with y'all this morning. And man,

I don't find it a coincidence a man at that thick bible, that

I would open my Bible up and God would have exactly what He had laid

on my heart right there for me to read. And man, so look

to me at Luke chapter number eleven, and will begin at thirty three.

In verse thirty three, he said, no, man, when he had

lighted a candle, put it it in a secret place, neither under a

bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the

light. And then you don't have Christians don't have to be ashamed. And

men, you don't have to be ashamed of the way you live. And

then you don't have to be ashamed of living for God. And then there

are Christians that they have the light in their heart. And man envision as

a camel. But when they get out in the world and hide their camera,

they go, We shine bright, honestly on ashamed. We left the

world see, and we sent it in that camels there. And man,

the light of the body is the eye. Therefore, when the eyest single,

that whole body is full of light. But when the eye is evil,

that body is full of dark. And then we are to be someone

a focus. And then someone with our eye on the prize. And what

is the prize? It is heaving now, the Bible tells us. And

I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself here. And then when I feel

the leading, they go ahead and say this. And men, my brother

was a farmer for a while. A man. He had a tractor and

he was having trouble a man plowing straight roads. Girl, okay, they

were a little squirreling. He was on a big tractor and hit batting when

he had to go back and do it. Four or five times you do

it, Okay. And an old farmer comes to him, actually one of

our uncle's uncle, uncle Green, and he said, he said, Jeremiah,

he said, you can't look at you can't look down. He said,

if you want to flow a straight row, you're gonna look at the

end of the room. Okay, if you're gonna flow a straight row,

you gotta have that singleness of behind the body. Shake it off. And

man, heaven has to be in beaut And then if you won't do that,

world and then if you can't get distracted, heaven has to be a

beaut Amen. You got the Bibles. Then he either having said his hands

into plow and looking back, because that sounds like someone is allowing a straight

row. And then no, that's someone in leaving the room for an adversary

to get in. And so when we're on our way to heaven and we're

on that journey, we've got to have a singleness of ye a man,

someone that doesn't have their body full of darkness. Amen. Now, verse

thirty six said, if the whole body therefore be full of life, having

no part dark, the whole shall shall be full of light. Amy.

I'm gonna read that again. If the whole body therefore be full of life,

having no part Duard, the whole Amy's with Your whole body shall be

full of lit as when the bright shining of a candle does give the lot

they ha So your body can be Amen, a candle, a city sent

on a hill. But if you don't have that singleness of mine, I'm

made of my mind. I'm gonna be a Christian no matter what others do.

I'm gonna serve God. Amen. We can't have those times of giving

place to the devil, those small fucks that We've got to have a body,

a man that has consent creating the God, a man that is submitted

to the word of God, that submits when the pastor opens the Word about

to us, and then we yell and say, yes, Lord, if

it's in here, I'm gonna do it. An. The Bible's in It's

all profitable for sound doctor. Amen. The whole Bible, Amen, is

necessary for us to understand what we're gonna do. A man, we call

this back home our roadmap. This is our roadmap to heaven and man.

The Bible said, it is alighted to our feet, Amen, aligned to

our family. Praise God. So it's gonna show us the way. Amen.

But if we aren't, okay, I'm the Lord's leading me this place,

so let me let me just go ahead and say this. And if

you aren't shining the light of the Word daily into your heart a man,

you have no light. And then what if God us to give you that

portion of scripture in the morning that you would need for a trial that day?

And then but you'll not have to come back to the devil when he

comes against you, because you just put the light him. Amen. And

at that moment the life of the illuminated your path. And you just said,

I already read again around this devil a man, and God made a

way of escape for me. And then you've got to have the line of

God emerged the bid said, shad a rod in your heart. Yeah,

how loyah. Yeah. But your friends, there is a light in you.

There is braier than the darkness around you. And then there are men

around you. A man's sitting in darkness. So you are there light.

Amen. But it's not a light of yourself. It's a light of the

power and the glorious God. And praise God. You don't have the popular

life. He got someone graiter in us. All he's gonna do is live

holy, live, ethical, live, trustworthy a man praise God in lines.

Now, if you're someone that a man is, oh, praise God.

All right, it's just go here. Amen. If you're someone that

isn't with an open mind for your self yard seeing someone a man that you

can tell them how you're doing this wrong and know I'm God, and they

said they know I'm not. They don't push that word away. Amen.

So if we're not someone honest with ourselves. When the pastor preaches, Brother

Douglas gives up and he says, God said this and this and this and

here this and the word of God, and God wants you to do this

and this and this a man, you're dishonest and you're not really willing to

do a self evaluation. Amen. I look at your heart, say Lord

and Lord, where am I fallen short? Where y'all falling short? And

then your friend's gonna be a life you can't bad. I haven't arrived.

And then I'm the Lord still helping me to grow and may grow it embracing

the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And that doesn't mean I'm

sitting every day. Aman, I'm trying to live perfect as the Bible said,

and got trying to live above, reproach, above, reproach the world.

And now the Bible is there. We're in it, but we're not

of it. And yet so we're not for takers of it a man,

But we gotta be honest with ourselves, a man that when God speaks those

words to us, and then we say, Lord Dallas from me, I'm

mart He keep looking at me in this morning, and we gotta come up.

And man, it's not better enough to a volage a man. No,

you gotta take it, even if it's the grain, go saying you've

gotta take that out before that the barrier. We're gonna tell you in God,

God don't tell you something only to have you keep doing it. God

tells you something to see you grow, to see you move it out the

way, say Lord, my God. Even miss from the buck now,

but that could be a cover of uk on down the road. And then

God has seen of his divine profit is the war Gods, and keep us

holy. And there's a let being honest with ourselves when the word goes forward,

a man, let your body therefore be full of light, having dough

park darkness. In other words, keep the doe us out. Amen.

Now there's a wonderful song that I enjoy listening to. It says, go

light your world. Amen. It speaks of a Christian, a man as

a candle. Amen. And we have to go like our world. Amen,

Praise God. Now there's a say that says it is better to light

one candle than to curse the darkness. Amen. So you can't dwell on

how evil the world is, and then you can't act like, Oh,

there's no hope for him. Amen. The gospel can't prevail. We're doomed

the man as us for no more know the Church of God will grow.

The Bible said he will add in the church bad as such and the safe.

And if it ain't gonna stop here with yall a man, he'll shine

your life price God, Oh my God, if you'll shine your life,

don't light the world will be that example. Don't hide your candle, and

man, do the barriers that are casting shadows and little buff reproach. God's

going to want to play. Amen, broke, bring my God. Amen.

Hell, he ain't a hard time, but you're no light is one

of the fastest traveling things in the world. Oh, praise God. Amen,

God, give I can safe the entire almost island of Dominica. Amen.

In a week, in two days, Amen, on a day.

Don't leave that. There's nothing too hard for God. He's going in a

moment. Praise up, Look, Raise up, Amens. Let that lights

tribe. There's no talents, how far it's gonna go. There's no talents,

how much God's gonna do. And then, but you gotta be willing

to have a light. Amen. Was the Bible said in look a singleness

of eye and then determined to make it a heaven. Or if your eye

becomes evil, your body's gonna be full of dark. Say Amen, So

maun Zion, go like your world. I'm goes here with you. And

then if we will carry the torch a man's offers, God allows and directs.

Amen. But you ms Amen, get behind your pastor, get behind

his vision. The body set without a vision, the people perish, and

man, your pastor does have a vision. Amen, a vision of light

expanding. Amen, of darkest being expelled from Dominica. But you must be

willing to shine that light. Amen. Praise God. Second Christians, Boring

Ford talked about the light of the glorious Gospel. Now get this, and

then you say that he's talking about the word of God and that's not really

an individual. Amen. We really can't have that figure of an impact.

Now what was said of John, He was a barney and a shining light.

Amen. Afterwards all said and done, Amen, The way they described

that man and man was he was a burning and a shining light my God.

And then one off Dominiqua on your death was the say, now brother

saw it. So now that man he really shone the love of God,

he really shone forth and was a witness to Dominica. And then that can

happen a man of John the Baptist. Then was said, he was a

burning and a shining light. And then we must left the sunshine the s

o n shine a man shine at our heart. Now the Bible, I

want to touch on this real quick. I'm coming to a close. The

Bible said in one place, the darkness comprehended it. Not Now we can

be uncomprehended Christians. In other words, we can be unhindered a man of

those little objects in your life. And I'm not trying to be sure of

the head. I'm here to encourage this morning. A man that you would

eat your pastor, and this is imperative that we do so. A man

that you would let the light when it shines in You wouldn't comprehend it,

You wouldn't hinder You wouldn't say, Lord, I'm not ready for that yet.
