April 2023 Mission Trip- Pastor Jeremy Howell

We do believe the brother and Sister Douglas are the best of the best,

the cream of the crop. All of the ministers that are here. Our

heads off to you. We appreciate you. If you have your Bibles with

you, and I believe you do. Will you turn with me to the

Book of Revelation, chapter number four, Man, direct your attention to the

eleventh verse. Revelation, chapter number four. Man, director attention to the

eleventh verse. Having if you remember the last time we were here, I

preached out of the Book of Revelation a sermon titled the Islander, the Islander.

Yet again the Lord has directed my attention to the Book of Revelation.

Brother Nathaniel, come up here, just for a minute. I want you

to read Psalm one or four and verse number thirty one. Y'oll listen carefully.

The glory of the Lord shall endure forever. The Lord, y'all rejoice

in his works. Can y'all remember thou the Lord shall rejoice in his works.

I'm going to talk to you this morning regarding a subject that the Lord

has laid upon my heart, the meaning of life. The sermon title is

His pleasure is my treasure, y'all, say that with me, his pleasure

is my treasure. May we stand for the reading of the Word of the

Lord. Revelation, chapter number four, verse number eleven. The Bible said,

thou art worthy, o Lord, to receive glory and honor and power,

for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and

were creative. And for Thy pleasure they are and were created. Would you

stretch you hence which Heaven ask the Lord to anort me this morning, Heavenly

Father, we love him. We praise you and thank you for the privilege

to be in the house of the Lord here at Mount Side. We honor

brother and sister Douglas this morning. What a beautiful work you were doing here

at Dominica. We appreciate the brothers and sisters that are present today. I

pray that you would a north this thy servants, and a God, that

my mouth help me to say the things that you would have me to say.

Nothing more or less anort the ears of this thy people, that they

might hear. But the Spirit Satan of the churches God, through this blessed

work, through the Spirit of God, the word to tread may would not

be heres only, but doers help us to hear and heed and ask us

Lord to be obedient, and we shall be ask us to be doers,

and we shall do. We pray that we would depart this place chartfully and

not sorrowfully. In Jesus name. Amen, as you, being seated,

look at your neighbor and saying, neighbor, his pleasure is my treasure.

Our text is found in the New Testament book of the whole Bible, the

Book of Revelation. This book used to frighten me. The naming of this

book by any minister frightened me. It concerned me after hearing it called out

as the source or the text for a lesson or a servant. It concerns

me very much. I had these concerns and feelings prior to my conversion and

before Jesus became my lord and savior. But now that I'm a book fault

born again child of God, this book Revelation no vonger terrifies or frightens me.

In fact, the name of this book reals me because I know inside

of this text, the content and the context of this writing is meant for

good. And I appreciate the message that has been revealed to me through the

revelator Jesus Christ and his servant John. I'm excited to point something out to

us this morning, something I found within this mysterious book of Insight. This

Book of Revelation is one that I love to read. I love to study.

And anybody that hears the words of this book or breast anybody that studies

the writings of this book of the Bible, you are blessed. Anybody that

feels lad at times to drift over in this book of the Bible and look

at it. Your blessed knowledge is available concerning things that are to come.

There's a lot of people in this life wondering about what is to come in

our town that we are living in the Glades of County. Every now and

then of Glades County sheriff deputy, which is a law enforcement of officer,

can find revelation. We have had some thanks revealed to us. And if

God's will that we be knowledgeable concerning things regarding scripture and it is of this

life. God does not want us to be ignorant. We don't have to

be eager of Satan's advices. We don't have to be unknowledgeable of the devil's

ways. We com buy here in the world of God, of what we

should do, the adjustments that we should make in our life in order to

meet these situations better. And so as I became a Christian, I have

found this book to be one of my favorites. As I finished reading the

first three chapters of this book again, for I don't know how many times

I've read it, my attention was drawn to this fourth chapter, and I

noticed that John the beloverd changed his tone in this chapter it's evident that John

is having a spiritual encounter despite his predicament and situation. You will remember back

in September of twenty twenty two, I talked to you about John being banished

on the island of Patment and how he had gotten in this spirit so,

regardless of his predicament in his situation is delivered. We find that this man

is looking forward unto things that are forthcoming, and how he receives some news

that is bad news, he also receives some news that is wonderful or great

news. He sees some things that parighten him and literally chills the blood that

is coursing through his veins, while he also sees some things that excites him.

And depends on what side are the line you are. If you're on

the Lord's side, he has something to avoid. On the devil's side,

you do not have anything to look forward to. There's something I've been pointing

out to Bethel recently, and I would like to point it out to you.

Are this marning mankind, especially the people of this generation. They have

a mindset or understanding that the devil is the opposite to God. This is

untrue. Look at your neighbor say, hey, neighbor, did you know

you know that the devil is not is not the opposite to God home.

The devil is much more the low God. He is a creative video.
