  1. You're happy, you know, and say, many, let's turn to the

  2. book of First Corinthians. If they're the first Corinthians, there must be a

  3. second Corinthians. I've heard preachers before call it one Corinthians and two Corinthians.

  4. I'm not really sure which is proper, but for years I've heard preachers say

  5. first and second Corinthians. So I appreciate this blessed book that we've been able

  6. to select a golden text from the Holy Ghost has whispered something into my heart.

  7. I do feel like this is a message given to us from the Lord.

  8. Isn't it different when you get something from the Lord? How many of

  9. you had that certain grandparent that you just could not wait to open the gift

  10. that they had regot for you at Christmas time? Anybody? I had a

  11. grandmother, and she's still living and I don't get gifts from her anymore.

  12. But I used to love to receive gifts from Grandmother Dampier, Granny Dampier,

  13. because she just had this ability to know what we would like, and everything

  14. she got us throughout the years was just perfect. I remember if it was

  15. a little monster truck or if it was a car, a little remote control

  16. car, or boat. Whatever it was she got, it was perfect,

  17. and I often wondered, how did she know that this would please us so

  18. well? She always hit the target on the bull's eye. I don't know

  19. if she was that observant because she knew that much about us, that she

  20. knew what we liked, but she always pleased us. Well, now,

  21. my other grandmother, Granny Howe if you hear this, Granny, I am

  22. sorry, but I never liked anything she bought me. Never did because it

  23. was Haynes undershirts or a sweater, things like that that she just went in

  24. there and she had so many people to buy fle or she just bought something

  25. about everybody's sweaters. They none of them fit us, none of them were

  26. a good color. And she'd tell us, as we're open them, you're

  27. probably not gonna like that, and I've got the receipt, go get something

  28. you want. So it told me she just didn't like shopping and she didn't

  29. like figuring out what people like. Just didn't want to go through that effort.

  30. So my other granny, though, Grannie Dampers, she liked to go

  31. through that. She always pleased us. And a gift from Granny Damper was

  32. wonderful, and this is a gift from God for you all this morning.

  33. I do know that this is sermons specific for the Bethel hole in this church,

  34. not to slight any minister that is an evangelist or that has been an

  35. evangelist, that this is not one that I'm pulling out that I have preached

  36. fifty to one hundred times. A lot of you don't realize that happens,

  37. and it has to happen. They travel, and that's why they become the

  38. great speakers and orators that they are. But well, most of them go.

  39. Some of them do. But I am a pastor and I have to

  40. preach something the fresh out of the every service. So here we are this

  41. morning. Fresh biscuits are in the house. That's right, brother road Caps.

  42. First Corinthians, chapter number thirteen. Somebody said, yes, that's the

  43. love chapter. Yes, that's the lovely chapter. We met sister Debbie's dad,

  44. brother gem, and whenever he heard my wife's name, Charity, he

  45. said, oh, that's a good name. First Corinthians, chapter number thirteen.

  46. And yes, you will find her name a lot in this chapter.

  47. Brother Nathaniel, would you turn to the Book of Isaiah, chapter number twenty

  48. eight versus number nine and ten. Brother Jesse, First Printhians, Chapter number

  49. fourteen, in verse number twenty, Brother Nathaniel Isaiah twenty eight nine and ten,

  50. Brother Jesse, First Corinthians, Chapter number fourteen, in verse number twenty.

  51. You all look so good this morning. It's so good to see you

  52. all in the house of the Lord. How many appreciated that revival? Oh

  53. yes, wasn't it wonderful? Brother Gabriel received a gift from the Lord,

  54. the sweet Holy Ghost. Praise the Lord, Brother Nathaniel Isaiah twenty eight nine

  55. and ten. Please, sir, whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom

  56. shall he make to understand doctrine? Then that are weaned from the mill and

  57. drawn from the beasts, A precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept,

  58. line upon line, and line upon line. Here a little and they're

  59. a little, amen, Brother Jessie. First Corinthians, chapter number fourteen and

  60. verse number twenty. Rather be not children in understanding, howbeit in malice,

  61. be children, but an understanding beating it all right, let's stand for the

  62. reading of our golden text with the Holy Ghost has for us this morning.

  63. First Corithians, chapter number thirteen. In verse number eleven, the Bible said,

  64. when I was a child, I spake as a child. I understood

  65. as a child. I thought as a child. But when I became a

  66. man, I put away childish things. Let's read that together. When I

  67. was a child, I spake as a child. I understood as a child,

  68. I thought as a child. But when I became a man, I

  69. put away childish things. I think if Apostle Paul was living in this day

  70. in alber he would have the kid that's sitting on the couch with his hat

  71. turned sideways, playing an Xbox for ten hours. That's who he'd be preaching

  72. to. You know, when I was a child, it's been great to

  73. have a childhood, but it's greater to be an adulthood. And there are

  74. three mental points I will be following as I'm preaching. I will reach for

  75. those at times when I'm taking a breath. The first one will be I

  76. spake as a child. The second one will be I understood as a child,

  77. and the third one is I thought as a child. Apostle Paul,

  78. the great Man of God, gave us those points, and I appreciate those.

  79. Apostle Paul and the good Holy Ghost. It was these points. Maybe

  80. we pray, Heavenly Father, we love and we praise you. We thank

  81. you for your presence it's been here this morning. I do thank you for

  82. how you have blessed this church family. I thank you for those that you

  83. have gifted by giving them your son. I'm glad that they have received it

  84. so freely and gladly. I pray Lord that you would help us in this

  85. place this morning. Anoint this thy servants, set a guard at my mouth,

  86. and help me to say the things that you would have me to say,

  87. nothing more or less. Anoint the ears of this thy people, that

  88. they might hear what it is the spirit saith unto this church for discermon a

  89. sermon specifically this people. I pray that they would allow these sayings to go

  90. below the shoulders tid Oh, God, let h saturate their spirit, heart,

  91. mind, soul and being. Let us get whatever it is out of

  92. this that we need to get. May we not be hears one who would

  93. doors. We pray Lord for an anointy upon each and everyone in this place,

  94. and may we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus name

  95. name Man look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, put the

  96. toys back in the toy box. I want to preach a sermon. The

  97. Holy meost title put the toys in the toy boss. Looking at our text

  98. again. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I

  99. understood as a child, I thought as a child. But when I became

  100. a man, I put away childish things. Our text is found in a

  101. New Testament book of the Holy Bible, the first Book of First Corinthians.

  102. Our text has been selected by the Holy Ghost. I appreciate this text this

  103. morning. There's been a lot of times that I have encouraged myself in the

  104. Lord with this very verse. There were times that I would say to myself,

  105. Okay, come on, Jeremy, just pick yourself up by your bootstraps

  106. and stand up on your feet and be just rock solid for old time,

  107. holdingness, truth and righteousness. And there's been a lot of times that I've

  108. encouraged myself in the Lord through this verse, assuring myself that I no longer

  109. speak as a child, I no longer understand as a child. I'm no

  110. longer thanking as a child, and I realize I really am growing in grace

  111. and in the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Because there is

  112. certainly a difference between immaturity and maturity. There are some of you that work

  113. with people at your workplace. Those co workers can be labeled as immature co

  114. workers or mature co workers. Do you know also in this building this morning,

  115. there could be some among us that are labeled immature Christians while others are

  116. labored mature Christians. And I don't want to be the one doing the labeling

  117. of my brother or sister, But I do know that the beloved Apostle Paul

  118. was letting these people of correct, these new Christians, these believers that were

  119. hot and fiery and passionate for the gifts of the spirit. He was letting

  120. them know that there is a difference between spiritual immaturity and spiritual maturity. If

  121. you'll notice, this chapter is sandwiched right between the twelfth and fourteenth chapters of

  122. the Book of First Corinthians. To me, this thirteenth chapter of First Corinthians

  123. dislike the cream in the Oreo cookie. There's a lot of you would rather

  124. read this thirteenth chapter than you would the twelfth and the fourteenth brother rick Jacob

  125. was telling me the other night in the fellowship Paul that he is one of

  126. those that separates the two chocolate cookies and first licks the cream off of the

  127. cookie. I am not one of those. If my wife is one of

  128. those that I've seen her do that for years and it just aggravates me.

  129. Brother Ricky, wouldn't aggravate me if you were doing it. But to me,

  130. it is meant to go together. It is not to be eaten separately.

  131. And if we study this blessed book that is addressed to these blue believers

  132. at corinth you will realize that at some point the Apostle Paul gives them a

  133. wake up call, or if you will, an attitude check. Right here,

  134. the thirteenth chapter of the Book of First Corinthians is an attitude check.

  135. What's going on in the twelfth and fourteenth chapters. The apostle Paul is admitting

  136. that they have been powerful in God. He's admitting that they have been zealous

  137. in the grace of God and within the gifts of God. He admits that

  138. they are speaking with tongues, that they are a revival church. He's admitting

  139. that they are passionate and fervid and fiery in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

  140. But right here in this thirteenth chapter he begins to talk about if you have

  141. all of those gifts and you don't have love, it will be unprofitable for

  142. you, unprofitable for the church, unprofitable for the world, and especially unprofitable

  143. for the sake of Jesus Christ. So I do appreciate this thirteenth chapter of

  144. the Book of First Corinthians. But I also appreciate the twelfth and the fourteenth

  145. chapter. And I feel like if we could just study it, the twelfth,

  146. thirteenth and fourteenth chapter of the Book of Corinthians, we would realize that

  147. there is some growing to do. Even though that we have been saved by

  148. grace, even though faith has helped bring victory into our life, I'm so

  149. thankful for those things. Or yes, we are more than conquerors through Jesus

  150. Christ, our Lord, and yes we have been sanctified and we're now spirit

  151. filled, possessed of the whole e Gohost, the holy Egos that we sought

  152. after for so long now lives in us. When he moves within us,

  153. we shake or quake, And whenever he speaks through us. It flows out

  154. of our very mouth. We hear the Holy Egos speak out of our very

  155. mouth. And I want to remind you you feel a tendency to speak as

  156. a child, I want to remind you that you're also speaking at times as

  157. the oracle of God, the Holy it goes, is speaking through you.

  158. Now, I'm laying a foundation right here this morning, as is my custom

  159. because I'm a pastor, I'm trying to bring into life this Book of First

  160. Corinthians for you before we preach on our topic here this morning. I feel

  161. like this Bible is specific for all believers. There's a lot of people that

  162. discount and discredit the words of this blessed Book. They feel like they're not

  163. applicable to them or their life or their situation. But the Bible said,

  164. every word of this blessed Book is profitable for doctrine. I feel like this

  165. morning you're gonna find that it's gonna be very profitable if you're very careful how

  166. you speak as a believer. It's gonna be very profitable for you and the

  167. ministry and for the family of God. If you're very careful how you interpret

  168. scripture or how you understand the preacher when he's preaching. Also, you're gonna

  169. find it it's gonna be very profitable that you are thanking correctly and clearly.

  170. That y'all notice those three points that I'm following mentally this morning, points given

  171. to us by the Apostle Paul and the Holy Goost. So is it possible

  172. for you to be spirit feeling and spirit led and not to be speaking correctly,

  173. not to be understanding correctly, and not to be thinking correctly. Absolutely,

  174. you will find that every person in this building needs a pastor. In

  175. fact, the church has always been gifted with apostles and pastors and teachers and

  176. evangelists for the perfecting of the saints. And I feel like God has spoken

  177. into my heart art on this break of this revival, before the next wave,

  178. that we all need to be cognitive of this fact that we could stumble,

  179. even though we are spirit field and spirit lad. If we do not

  180. stumble, we could put a stumbling block in the way of someone else.

  181. So Apostle Paul intercepts some things that are going on in this local assembly,

  182. and he inserts himself through his writing and gives them a directive of you need

  183. to be careful. You need to make sure that you have a love in

  184. your heart. Even though I admit that you're speaking with the tongues of angels.

  185. You need to have love in your heart or or else this sounding brass,

  186. it's as sounding brass and a tinkling symbol. I understand that you have

  187. the gift of prophecy, and I understand that you understand mysteries now. And

  188. I understand that you think you have all knowledge and that you have a faith

  189. that will remove the mountains, and that you're unshakable. But I want to

  190. let you know that there's something going on here and you all need to slow

  191. down just a little bit and let somebody speak the prophetic word to you.

  192. The word of God needs to be preached and needs to be spoken clearly.

  193. There needs to be a directive come down from Heaven. Somebody needs to hear

  194. from God and issue a warning. Hey, let's teach a lesson on a

  195. gambling our Sunday's gonna teach her this morning, talk a lesson on gambling.

  196. If I had ever heard the voice of God, I heard it that night

  197. during our revival. When God spoken to my heart. I jumped around and

  198. I turned and looked at Brother root Cap and just with a quick sentence and

  199. a few words, I said, teach Sunday morning on the woes of gambling.

  200. And he done that this morning. A lot of you did not know,

  201. as there's already been a testimony that has gone forth of a sister in

  202. this precious congregation that had a dream some weeks ago. And she said,

  203. in that dream her husband had went to some sort of convenient store and bought

  204. a scratch off for a lottery ticket, and they had won seventy seven dollars.

  205. And upon closer observation of those tickets that were in hand, there was

  206. some more things to be scratched off, and they scratched them off, and

  207. one another seven hundred and seventy seven dollars, And said that lying spirit came

  208. by and said, see it's okay to gamble. It could be of God,

  209. for seven is God's perfect number. Oh, thank God for somebody that's

  210. not a hirling. Somebody's standing at the post of duty, somebody perched up

  211. as a watchman on the wall, watching for wolves and listening for the voice

  212. of the enemy, and also listening to the voice of God. We take

  213. that as though as just water off products back. It's not shotness this morning.

  214. We're not flopping like fishing the floor. We're not having caesars in our

  215. seat, We're not running around the walls of Jericho, so to speak.

  216. We're not having a victory march over that. But I'm telling you that was

  217. just as important as anything that has happened this year. I'm talking about those

  218. that have received the Holy those that gift operating the gift of prophecy, the

  219. gift of knowledge, the gift of understanding, is just as important as any

  220. other spiritual gift in the Word of God that we find that we can possess

  221. as believers. So I believe that this is an assembly or place where the

  222. believers are gathered together. This is just like this church here at Corinth.

  223. We have assembled ourselves together as believers and saints, and possibly even there's a

  224. sinner or two among us this morning, and thank God, that's indicative of

  225. our church. Is a functional church or place where people are receiving Hell,

  226. a place where people are willing together together, where the saints and the sinners

  227. can receive whatever it is they need to receive from God. And so I

  228. believe that Apostle Paul is speaking to these new believers about how they are feeling

  229. in their soul. No doubt they started feeling that they were superior to others.

  230. They got too big for their riches. Now this will save some of

  231. our young men and young preachers in the future. Again, you have no

  232. idea how important this message right here is, or how God has imparted wisdom

  233. under your pastor this morning to run interception to a lion spirit, the same

  234. kind of lying devil that tried to light our sister and tell her that it

  235. would be okay to gamble, to want something for nothing, you know,

  236. to get a lot a little bit. I feel like there's gonna be some

  237. that sometimes you'll get a pad on the back because they got annoyed it somebody

  238. else say wow, you're operating in the gifts of the spirit more than somebody

  239. else, or really, you know, the Bible talked about those that would

  240. minister to us and operate within the local assembly and within the church corporately,

  241. that we would not have to worry about being envious of them if we properly

  242. understood what's going on in their life, and if we interpreted it. It

  243. was just simply a gift given them by God. I know there's a lot

  244. of times people come up to me and they say, pastor, how or

  245. how do you preach like that? My sons who are preachers say, Papa,

  246. how do you preach like that? And I let them know right quickly.

  247. I am not the preacher. I told the Lord just before I walked

  248. out of that office, I said, if you do not preach through me,

  249. I will not each to your people this morning. I said, we

  250. must feed them, Lord, And if you will allow me, I'm putting

  251. the bag on my shoulder and I'm gonna try to go out there with handfuls

  252. on purpose and give them to this precious people. But if you do not

  253. feel the bag, we will not have anything at all to feed anybody.

  254. There are people that are simple in their mind. If you want their childish

  255. and I do not want to be outspoken or two plane spoken, or be

  256. offensive with the words of my mouth, but they are very childish. Sometimes

  257. they'll see somebody shout a little bit, Let's see somebody shake a little bit.

  258. Y'll see somebody quack a little bit. They'll hear somebody speak in tongues

  259. and they'll say, wow, look at the spiritual giant that they are,

  260. look at what they have become. And I want you to know there have

  261. been little children that have been possessed of the whole only ghost, the spirit

  262. of God has come into that life that has filled them with His glory,

  263. and they have spoke at times as the oracles of God. I've seen twelve

  264. year old boys before received the Holy Ghost. And while the Holy Ghost was

  265. present and in them and speaking through them, I said, surely this is

  266. a young man that can be used of God. But I realized when they

  267. went outside of the church they were still chilled or and yes they were not

  268. speaking like they spoke before they were filled with the Holy Ghost. Yes they

  269. were not thinking as they had talked before prior to be feeling with the Holy

  270. Ghost Tom and they certainly didn't understand things and the like they did prior to

  271. receive it. The Holy understand that. I realized that their mammas and daddy's,

  272. that our church people and myself included, that would still have to look

  273. at them as not as concerning the things of life. We realized we would

  274. not trust to that true your herd to lead the church of the Flock of

  275. God. We realized we would not trust to nor allow that trump your horn

  276. to leave this leader, this nation. We realized there was some growing to

  277. do. At that moment, we knew there still a need for spiritual development.

  278. Could I tell you this phone, and just because you're now operating in

  279. the gifts of the spiritual does not mean you do not need a spiritual head.

  280. I said in a little while ago that the apostle power had recognized that

  281. these believers had got too big for their bridges. Everybody's walking around and the

  282. speaking in tongues, and people are saying, that's great, and that's wonderful.

  283. An apostle power eyes that us should be holy, gusta cand dot pnd

  284. upon him. He's actually invicted a general confusion right here in the local assembly

  285. and the center comes. They're not gonna understand anything that's been said. Are

  286. you paying attention this morning? One of the things that we need people to

  287. do to speak clearly, clearly and understand clearly. And the same thing is

  288. applicable for us. And then as there was with them of yesteryear, that

  289. when they come to church, say they hear let us said the word of

  290. God. And then there's somebody who right the dividing get word the truth that

  291. some of you are preaching to you this morning. Just because he saw somebody's

  292. speaker gonna talk for a few minutes, just because you saw somebody could anoint

  293. it for a few and it does not mean they're gonna be a role model

  294. for you. It does not mean they're gonna be an example for the belief

  295. dayhood the day out. It's the Holy Ghoster, let change somebody's life very

  296. using will. If it doesn't, it wasn't the Holy Ghoster that I want

  297. you to know that the Holy Ghost to persist somebody that you still need and

  298. apostle Paul to come yet the midst of that holy roll of the meeting that

  299. say, remember everything should be decent, Remember everything should be an ardor there's

  300. a little babies and need to be taught to the right way. There's some

  301. steal in the early stages that developments. And be careful how much you operator

  302. in this gifts that when you operator in this kisser, you gonna make sure

  303. you have love. I said, you better make sure that you have love.

  304. I've seen people before say, well, praise the Lord. God answered

  305. my request, and he gave me exactly what I had petitioned him for.

  306. He gave me what I needed. And then I go away and say,

  307. but why is the meanness still there? I have said for years? And

  308. when you get possessed or filled with the hole, egoes to third part of

  309. the Godhead to try you. Godhead begins to living you and working you,

  310. and operate through you that there will be a natural born sweetness when he is

  311. born in you. And I saw brother Jesse, I operate properly in the

  312. gift of the Holy Eghost. Yesterday we were sitting at the Red Lobster restaurant.

  313. Some twenty one of us said, suddenly has little boy Malachi got sick?

  314. And how many of you have ever seen a little water fountains with a

  315. little statue boy, out of his mouth comes water, right, I saw

  316. about a two inch diameter circle a cylinder of water come out that boy's mouth

  317. at arch and went down. It was probably about eighteen inches long, brother

  318. Philip, And then there was another another spout of it to come out,

  319. and I thought that boy's gores. He just drinking and eating it. That's

  320. by way that much fluid should be in his belly. He likes to eat.

  321. I saw it go old Jesse's arm go all down, his shoulder,

  322. down, his elbow on his hands. There would have been a time his

  323. brother Jesse's life, even as a Christian, he would have got very upset

  324. at that boy. And that boy would not have heard a cuss word or

  325. swear words, but he would have certainly known Dad's disapproval of the situation,

  326. even though the little boys just being a child that is sick and did not

  327. know how to convey it to its father. I'm sicking about to throw up.

  328. There was a time him brother Jesse's life. He would have been grossly

  329. impatient with that situation and would have reacted not necessarily sinfully, but improperly.

  330. And that's a type of situation. He wouldn't have been nearly as considerate as

  331. he was yesterday. And I saw him just sit there, knowing that vomit

  332. was running off his fingertips, that he plays the Ivory's over here on the

  333. piano so many times, I realized it wouldn't ivory on his fingertips, it

  334. was vomit. And I saw him sitting there and I thought, brothers,

  335. there he is acting way too calm for Jesse David Howell and only would have

  336. jumped up and saying, get this stuff off of me, deal with that

  337. handa. But A handed that little boy over there to the moment after why

  338. I picked up his hand with all that vomit. He said, I got

  339. to go and change my shirt. And he said, normally I wouldn't have

  340. had another shirt, but my wife told me I needed to buy one just

  341. before we got here. And so he went out there and got that shirt

  342. that his wife insisted he needed to buy, and he put it on and

  343. he come in and I noticed when the baby come back, little Malachin come

  344. back. Jesice said, are you okay, buddy? Can I hold you?

  345. I'm sorry that you feel sick. Brother Jesse would rather minister to that

  346. child that heat, the stink, and the lobster that was on his plate.

  347. And I knew right there, this is a young man that Unnattalie has

  348. been possessed of the Holy ghost. Come on, I'm preaching to you.

  349. If you've got meanness in your heart, I want you to pray as we

  350. come into these autars. Momentarily and asked God to replace that meanness with sweetness,

  351. because I saw it exemplified in the life of Brother Jesse yesterday that the

  352. Holy Ghost will make you sweet. How many of you are thankful for the

  353. gift on the whole only ghost, there's no doubtless needful. The apostle said,

  354. have you received the Holy Ghost? Since you believed? He knew it

  355. was very important that they received the spiritual gifts. And after they received the

  356. spiritual gifts that come down from heaven, he knew that they had to recognize

  357. her that they were given to them by God. Young preachers, you will

  358. never be envious of another preacher in your life again, if you'll understand her

  359. what I'm about to tell you, if you'll put both hands in your pocket

  360. when he's preaching, if you start battling jealousy and in me, if you

  361. look at it now, listen to this vice pastor. I'm fixing the help

  362. you have a victory in your life if you'll just look at it as he

  363. should be able to preach like to have it. That is a gift that

  364. God has given you. You want to struggle with it there when you realize

  365. it. God that gives to every man that as he even give the cold

  366. Peter, what is it to you? If I do this for child,

  367. you just take Carder that I love you. That you just take Carder that

  368. I'm with you. The preacher say, I want you to know that this

  369. morning that you need to focus on is not the guilty of your brother.

  370. It's not a spiritual competition. All that makes me sick when I see us

  371. thill a camp meeting, that I see preachers compeach with one another, that

  372. makes me sick. But poss Paul said that it's not how much you speak

  373. it talking. It's not how much to get an operating in the church.

  374. And it's love present. I said, it's love present preaching Holy Ghost.

  375. Use it Holy Ghost because we need some in our congregation to possess certain gifts.

  376. Because the devil is given somebody a dream that it's okay to gamble.

  377. The devil can make you dream much business can make you dream. It doesn't

  378. matter how real you think it is, how much you shot along after you've

  379. had that dream. If it is misaligned with the Word of God, it

  380. is not of God. Is it wonderful to be able to say, in

  381. the year twenty twenty three you receive the Holy Ghost? Is it Isn't it

  382. wonderful to say yes, Apostle, yes, I have received the Holy e

  383. Ghost since I believe it was a process and it took a little while,

  384. but I can say yes, it is a wonderful thing, and it's a

  385. gift and a blessing that has come down to us from God. I feel

  386. like this has been a blessing to our church family seeing so many receive the

  387. gift of the Holy Ghost and being possessed of the Holy Ghost. What a

  388. blessing it is to the Bethel Holiness Church. What a blessing it is to

  389. our brothers and sisters in Christ worldwide. Already, people that have businessed our

  390. church have said, Bethel has always been a safe haven for the weary.

  391. It's always been a place of spiritual rest and renewal for the faith of heart.

  392. They said, But even now it's got even better, it's improved because

  393. of the Holy Ghost operating within these people. What are they doing different?

  394. Apparently the only thing that these people have seen them do is worthship God with

  395. everything that is within them. They've detected an annoying because of the dwelling of

  396. the Holy Ghost. One of the things I must often to get the Holy

  397. gust operating a menifesting God. If my life persists holy he goes. So

  398. I need her help to help me praise Jesus the way he deserves to be

  399. praised. Because I don't have the words, I don't possist the spirit,

  400. I don't have the right attitude always. But if you little help to praise

  401. Him the way he ought to be praised, then we can praise him.

  402. Come on now, The truth tis sometimes we need a little heaven before we

  403. get to heaven. Our heller preach other I care. That's why you need

  404. the Holy gost, because you need to take Him for his care, his

  405. resurrection, the way he does to me. Take. No, you need

  406. not appreciate it, but what he did for you. We must always remember

  407. that. It is just that what he did for us, not what we

  408. did from him. We must always remember that that preacher could preach like that

  409. because he received that gift from God. A preacher that's doing the preaching like

  410. that. Whatever it is, you must always remember that it is something you

  411. received. It's not something you deserved, and it's not something you learned,

  412. and it's not something you earned. We received these spiritual gifts from the Savior

  413. Jesus Christ on purpose. He knew that we must be about to his business.

  414. This is a pastoral message this morning, God helping her sleeping love.

  415. Here crickets preach. But anyhow, earlier in this writing we see that Apostle

  416. Paul reached again to the church at Corinth. And Paul had tried to straighten

  417. out believers. Now you only go feel safe. Might not like this,

  418. but he tried to straighten out spiritual believers. He tried to straighten out Holy

  419. Us feel believers. Just because you knock a holding ghosta who does not mean

  420. you no more than your spiritual leader. You can fine Old Testament examples of

  421. this and the life of Chassea Waa. He was submitted to Moses and caught

  422. it until the time that God took Moses from him. I'm talking to somebody

  423. that God spoke to me and said that don't get too big for your preachessa,

  424. because you still got to chase in your head. Let pass the preacher

  425. to you. Then after we get the chessa out of your head, howter

  426. you couldn't die. You're gonna tell Boxer. Then you'll be reading the spiritual

  427. servant. You know, we have so much confidence in the twelve year old

  428. preaching. Some of you do. Some of you would make up a pastor

  429. of the church. And here's what you would say and receive correction and the

  430. love of Jesus. Receive it. I'm not trying to be mean. You

  431. would say, if the Holy Ghost is in him, is not the Holy

  432. Ghost, the Eternal One, is not part of the Godhead, is not

  433. the eternal God capable of leading us. Wouldn't that twelve year old boy against

  434. a season his sermons with stories of how he played with his remote control car

  435. before he came to the pulpit, and when he begins to talk about how

  436. he used his red rider be begun to kill a squirrel. After about six

  437. months, you're going to develop a disrespect for him, and you're gonna see

  438. that he still got some childish ways even though he is Holy Ghost Field,

  439. and you're gonna start disrespecting him. This is why I talked for years that

  440. somebody should probably be at Lead East at the age of thirty before they attempt

  441. to pastor a church. Are come on, I love and your crickets preacher,

  442. because there's just things that we learned in this thing called a life simply

  443. from experience. This visions right here's not only number one on your playlist,

  444. but I'm telling you this is the one that might help you in the days

  445. ahead. You got to Realiza that God gifted you. Yes, it's wonderful

  446. to be gifted, but God also gifted people to help the gifted. Have

  447. come on now that you get talker, I'm telling you that this church that

  448. was so explicit with the heart that ghost time had been gifted when the Apostle

  449. Paul to product them and the chastising is that look of church. And I'm

  450. talking to somebody this morning. You should never get too big for your bad

  451. chest first greet the chapter number four and verse number seven, the Apostle Paul

  452. dealer with his church earlier on in his writing, he said, for who

  453. maketh you to differ from one another? Who made you distinguished from your brother?

  454. Who chose you David over your siblings, who chose you Elijah over your

  455. siblings, who chose you Nest over your family, Who chose you Naomi over

  456. your family? What calls you to differ? What calls you to me distinguish?

  457. Sister? Who pray for memory to fill in? Right now? And

  458. what hast thou that thou didst not receive? Now thou didst receive it?

  459. Boy, dost thou cary, as if thou hast received it? Eliza would

  460. never get too big for Elija if he realized just that cycling writing received from

  461. crying, they're Elija? Why glory that? As though that didst not receive

  462. it? I fed the burden the prayer Brother Gabriel, I cried equivalent to

  463. that of a woman in travail. There was no difference in intensity. It

  464. was just as strong and just as severe. The spiritual labor and the spiritual

  465. pain was tremendous. Brother Caleb told me yesterday morning he was thinking about her

  466. all that was involved. As pastor helped Brother Gabriel go through, I was

  467. saying these words, God, he needs the Holy Ghost. If him,

  468. Canvas and Luther are gonna make it, I said, because if he does

  469. not receive it, he is not going to make it. I might not

  470. say that to her about every person. And I don't believe in Holy Ghost

  471. for nothing. I don't believe you half to have the Holy Ghost to go

  472. to heaven. But I am concerned with the Holy Ghost has to me will

  473. to gifting me and say you gotta love him more than cheesecaker. I am

  474. concerned about whatever it is from I teach you from receiving revival. I have

  475. to revival, I t Apos said, Paul knew that Timothy would become somebody.

  476. I thought he knew that, but he said, with the cant that

  477. is in there, he reminded them that I preach to you that I prayed

  478. to you. I prayed to talk with you. I minister thereach other here

  479. this high you received it, and freely you have received, freely give.

  480. I've seen people before received of the goodness of the gree so the blessings of

  481. God, and then bestands you with it. Now I got it. I

  482. don't need to pray with anybody. I don't need to praise for anybody else.

  483. I will just come to church three minutes before church starts. I love

  484. to hear crick is preaching there ain't trying me better than you are this morning.

  485. All But I'm telling you right here, why would we glory as though

  486. we have not received it? If we can understand and remember, understand as

  487. a child, or understand as a man. Say that with me, understand

  488. as a man understand ours and a woman. If we can understand and remember

  489. that all these blessings we're given to us freely, Oh the Lord Jesus Dead,

  490. we will never have a problem remaining humble, I said, we will

  491. never have a problem remaining Sorry, did not have the right spirit. That's

  492. why I needed to change hard to operate. But David had the right hard

  493. from the very beginning. And that's why what he said he hard by himself.

  494. He knew he was not worthy. But on the kingdom, he knew

  495. he did not deserve it. He knew he did not err especial treatment that

  496. made him so distinguished. That's so significant. Oh, yes, you that

  497. deserve that, give up that too big granted? Would we think him properly,

  498. that had the right horble attitude and spirit. We won't look down on

  499. the hobow or the balls. We will understand that the Holy Ghost was given

  500. to us to encourage that homeless person, to lift up that resident and rehab,

  501. to lift up that inmate in the prison system, to lift up those

  502. feeble hands, to reach to those people in the nursing homes, to reach

  503. to the least, the loss and the lonely. That's why You've been gifted

  504. a burden brother stare to nobody else seems to have nowadays. It's God that

  505. worketh in you both to will and to knew it was good pleasure sometimes just

  506. easy for us to operate out of the Christian the criteria First Corinthians, chapter

  507. number thirteen, and step out with meanness. They say, well, I'm

  508. gonna preach anyway. I'm gonna preach a prophecy in anyway. If you ever

  509. start comparing yourselfer one with another, you are unwise in doing server. You

  510. are unprofitable for the Master, and you are unproductive for that church family who

  511. You've been giving that burden for a reason. I've talk people before. You

  512. can possibly share my burden. You cannot possibly understand that my burden. Then

  513. I don't expect you to have it my burden, then to go to foreign

  514. countries not knowing anything, then to try to get something out. I will

  515. never expect you to have it that burden. But if you ever get a

  516. tame, you better not get the big head. Be good and feel like

  517. you've done something. You didn't do nothing. You're just operating with the chilter

  518. that God has given you. You've never seen a novice looked it up in

  519. pride. The apostle pots about time and the preachers would be good to that

  520. point. Then pride then lose out. Well, f y Carba for your

  521. information, Camba. The young preachers he's speaking of had been gifted, Well

  522. the Holy ghost. Tell me one time where the apostles let anybody preach in

  523. those days without the Holy Ghost. That's why you see me very little,

  524. Come here, man, that was great, Man, that was great.

  525. You're a chip off the old block. I don't know how much of that

  526. he can take, So I just shake his hand and saying, good preaching,

  527. son. I don't know that I've ever told any of my son said

  528. they're a chip off the old block, because we need to be a chip

  529. off of that block. And if what's operating in me it's not operating in

  530. them, then we are ineffective. Anybody, Hey, whatever was in me

  531. got over here, that there's scripture for that. By the putting on of

  532. my hands, they come on, now, Mama, did you have anything

  533. to do with the birth of that child? You would be terribly insulted if

  534. somebody said they didn't have anything to do with it. But somebody grabbed their

  535. knees and somebody is strained and grown trying to produce something or come on mount

  536. sigh and sigh. It has come to trumpell and the mother fell unable to

  537. give for brothers, and I want happens with a pastor and a church take

  538. gift in property. They're not able to cry, They're not ain't gonna multiply,

  539. They're not able to have food that remains. I'm telling you we're nothing

  540. without cord, that we're nothing without these gifts we high perceived. I see

  541. people they act as though they did not receive it. I got it,

  542. I got it, I earned it, I worked for it. Sometimes,

  543. Sister, when I walked through not trying to get attention, I can't stand

  544. whining and pouting, and we'll be preaching on these childish things. I can

  545. turn sideways right here and run this vestige. I can't stand whining and pouting.

  546. But I never say God, why me, Just so God to tell

  547. me because they're wonderful. Brother Ld Moore said, God has never patted me

  548. on the back and said great job, Ld. And that's the truth.

  549. Sometimes when we headed to the house, it's just the house saying money that

  550. was wonderful preaching, and I said, I'm glad you said so, because

  551. I have no idea my phone could be ringing and going on. I remember,

  552. I to remember, I to remember that was great, pastor that was

  553. great, and I'm thinking I had nothing to do with it. I barely

  554. even know what I said other than just a few words in these notes saying.

  555. ILL said, Dad, if you don't even spend hardly any time at

  556. your notes, I said, son, if you just knew all of the

  557. times on the back side of the link over there was snakes trying to intercept

  558. my prayer, Snakes trying to intercept my prayer, snake trying to interrupt my

  559. prayer time. There was one time I as a prayer and I felt like

  560. I was being watched, and I said, Devil, I know that you

  561. distracting me because God's presence is here. And I heard the Holy Gol say

  562. open your eyes, and right in my face was a serpent. There was

  563. another time I was in the woods, laid down prayer and I felt like

  564. something was near by, and I said, Devil, that's just you trying

  565. to distract me from getting an answer from God. I kept praying, and

  566. after thirty minutes, a big snake come up over my legs and laid on

  567. my legs and I jump. I'm telling you ain't no snake, Candler.

  568. But God had let me know that the enemy was President, brother Gavel,

  569. and that's what I'm trying to tell you this morning. And I feel so

  570. good at my soul that the enemy is present, and I want you to

  571. identify it as childishness. You're too big to be thinking like that. You're

  572. too big to be listening to the devil. You go out there, you

  573. will find out just how big you are. When you are ready, I

  574. will push you out of the nest. I guarantee you that I've got an

  575. eagle spirit, and I want to see the eaglets fly. But I don't

  576. want to see them fly but to you, and they're ready. It is

  577. true that God can fly faster than you can fly. It is true that

  578. God can help you if you fall out of the nest. But brother Jesse,

  579. I'm not gonna push any of our preachers out of the nest of prematurity.

  580. Because but come on now, you miss a house right here this morning.

  581. When you're ready, your pastor will know you are ready. There will

  582. be some things that have been childa said that gift to a life. You

  583. won't coss up, You won't talk about everybody. You won't call anybody after

  584. dinner they hunt who ain't us gossip? We won't have any problem remaining humble,

  585. Brother Ethan, those spiritual lessons and gifts that you received from God,

  586. they are the best. But even you, brother Ethan, still are teaching

  587. yourself not to be childish. Our text said not to think as a child,

  588. not to speak as a child, and not to understand as a child.

  589. Look at your neighbors, say hey, neighbor, are you being childish?

  590. Are you pouting for a tension? Are you looking at somebody else there

  591. in a service and say why are they spasional? Or why is God getting

  592. them? Or why is God doing this or doing that? How many of

  593. you adults still are a kid at heart? Anybody in There's sometimes that I

  594. feel like I'm a kid at heart, But I had to remind myself I

  595. am no longer a teenager. Why do you feel like that? Because sometimes

  596. I feel great energy. There's some of you you still feel like a child

  597. because you still have good looks. But I'm thankful you don't act to immature

  598. like a child. Come on now. In my lifetime, I've heard old

  599. timers talk about her being robbed of their childhood, and they didn't speak of

  600. it to negatively. This generation will talk about her how they were robbed of

  601. their childhood. And some of them I have valid reasons for concern because of

  602. childhood sex trafficking, because of child abuse of their parents towards them. But

  603. I'm talking about her. Them old timers, which it around the fellowship parls

  604. and in America, the churches in America talk about how their daddy was childish,

  605. how their daddy was our truckers, his old humanizer, how he'd leave

  606. the mama and the child and told kids and go missing. And come on

  607. now, boch on my granddaddy. Talk about the daddy that's been romanizing.

  608. So talking about to be an alcohol that said, both of my granddaddies stepped

  609. out of childhood with an eighth crane. It's a case of and to come

  610. the provider, so in their house, will come on now, My pastor

  611. was stop raised bossing me my childish, I said, my granddaddy's he put

  612. a ray trying to stay something after the eighth grade. Then yes, he

  613. went to put the gorda. He told the rates other commercial fisherman who put

  614. a man light in his head, and he provided for Mama and their sisters

  615. said by telling knew child. My great grandmother gave me a picture of my

  616. great granddaddy. I think his name was Joseph. I'm not sure. Handsome

  617. guy, she said, our favor him in a lot of ways, brother

  618. Jesse, And I didn't mean that. Sorry, I ain't brand I'm sorry,

  619. but anyhow, it's holdis, wasn't it? Those childish so Jesse said

  620. it was good to say I love you Jesse, I love you Jess.

  621. But she said, I didn't see much of him, but that was my

  622. first love act. He married me. He take off. The same thing,

  623. was sister Howells Grandpa. She didn't get to know him really, neither

  624. did her grandmother. After the Holy ghost had used the preacher to warn her

  625. of him. She married him anyway. She married him anyway, and he

  626. would be gone from what twelve months to eighteen months at the time, and

  627. come home to have a little off, suffer and some other things, and

  628. then go off again. That generation produced some young men and flat out become

  629. mature people. I had somebody tell me recently. I think it was brother

  630. Rick Jacob. He said, he said, you know, it used to

  631. be that somebody was ready for marriage and ready for the workplace at fifteen.

  632. I can relate to that because by the time I was fifteen, we were

  633. building a two story house, and I was laying out every piece of drawing

  634. wall in that complicated piece of architectural work in that house. At the age

  635. of fifteen, come here, Ethan, I'm gonna try to look at that.

  636. Him and I was about the same size. I was this size of

  637. working with men thirty and forty years old. Knew how to read a tape

  638. measure, knew how to work within the sixteenth of it. It's tolerant.

  639. I'm not talking about a little kid going out there with daddy screw gun and

  640. put some chicken coop together then gon withstand the storm. I'm talking the back

  641. building, a two story stand out stick out like a sword throghol home.

  642. Hey know why, because some of us just wanted to lead childhood and get

  643. to work. Some of us wanted to lead childhood and get to work.

  644. I'm preaching right here. So at the age of fifteen, and a half.

  645. I had my first interview and stepped right in the position of being a

  646. layout man in the prefab department, laying out plates and things and setting babbels

  647. and striking arcs and angles, and setting templates for center punching the holes,

  648. and then growing men out there in their thirties, forties, fifties and sixties

  649. or something that have been in the construction business for twenty or thirty years,

  650. or out there taking that template that I had grown and taking a soap stoll

  651. to tracing it out and then center punching the holes and I had laid out.

  652. And then the welders would weld up plate out to the fitters and located

  653. the place. Then the iron workers would take the art and bolt the angle

  654. brace and went into that play. Your daddy at that age right there,

  655. was doing that. The other night we were laying in bed since the house

  656. that Jeremy, I've never seen anybody in my life where it's stronger mind as

  657. you got her. A multitask in your mind is divided, she said,

  658. you can process so many things at one time, Brother Jesse, that is

  659. not me. That is a gift of God. I remember when I prayed

  660. for it. I remember when I asked God for it. But when I

  661. was fifteen years old, I said God, I want to work among the

  662. men. I want to be able to be one of those that has a

  663. mind to work. I want to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder,

  664. not with my peers, but with them older men that her craftsmen and skilled

  665. workers. Come home. Now, I'm telling you. My parents would testify

  666. and tell you I was never fascinated with her little toys. I was never

  667. fascinated with playing counters and meeting in my bedroom. Before I tell you what

  668. I was doing, I was on the south prone for the out of fire,

  669. playing Rambo. I was laid up in the mouth and looking for the

  670. enemy, brother Jesse, trying to sneak up. Oh, somebody that played

  671. ems four games. I've always speed my Home Warrior. Every toy and my

  672. parents bought me would be put in the close at They'll tell you that if

  673. you call them right now. They bought me a toy truck ten years later,

  674. Andy looked just kid as it did when they bought it. I was

  675. interested in fishing. I was interested in hunting. I was interested in swimming.

  676. I was interested in building a rout swee. Come on, now,

  677. are you get childest things? I've never interested me. I'm not unset about

  678. reason that my childhood, I was running to work. I can only preach

  679. my story. I can only preach my story. So fifteen years of age,

  680. my dad said, you're going to an interview? Oh really, okay,

  681. great. I had already been working for a commercial hand, getting up

  682. at five thirty, going and being there while was still dark, and working

  683. about fifteen fourteen and a half. And he said, being such a such

  684. place at such such time, he didn't call ahead. You got the receptionist

  685. desk, receptionist desk in her office if you asked her to speak with someone

  686. such. And I remember walking through an engineering department and walking by draftsman,

  687. good day, how are you doing? Sing good day? And with my

  688. hand is shaking like this, I said, I'm looking for Rob Summer.

  689. They said. The end of that hall. In that hall looked very long,

  690. maybe sixty feet long. I don't know if he was even now forty

  691. feet long. It looked like the table to marriage up at a lamb.

  692. I saw Rob sitting there like this and just shaking his head like this,

  693. and I thought, man, I'm nervous because his desk sat right there behind

  694. that norway where he could see all the engineers and addressment and brother, I

  695. felt so out of place and out of touch. The drawings on the wall

  696. and everything intimidated me. But they knew from the time as a kid,

  697. I love geometry. I loved math, and that's what I was born to

  698. do. Now I'm telling you all that a prestructor off. God knows you

  699. were born from ministry. God knows you were born to be possessed of the

  700. Holy Ghost of feel with a goodness and the grace and God. And I'm

  701. glad that we have taken that next step. But there are some things that

  702. we have to remember. We have to enjoy these years. We have to

  703. enjoy these early developmental years. It's going to be critical that you do not

  704. get the cart before the horse. I'm gonna say this again. Sister Cheryl

  705. takes to me about a week ago, and she said, I prayer for

  706. her young preachers. I'm so concerned for him because sometimes evangelists that mean well,

  707. and they do mean well, they mean no harm. They will come

  708. in and they will speak to somebody and concerning their ministry you're gonna make a

  709. good evangelist, you're gonna make a good missionary. And if you listen to

  710. them, when they come back, they've already forgot what they spoke to you,

  711. and they change it up. And so you've got to just take that

  712. with a grain of salt that it'd be like water off a duck's back.

  713. As Brother Gabriel said a couple of days ago, he said, I believe

  714. my pastor will be the first to know. But there are young men that

  715. are childish, that do not process things or think clearly. All that will

  716. take is a certain countifer man to point at them and say you're gonna be

  717. the next grain evangelists and the holiness movement. And they take off and they

  718. head out and they make shift correct. Their marriage is disolved, their family

  719. falls apart. Then they get bitter and they blame God. I'll tell you

  720. who they should blame is that preacher that operated out of the gift that he

  721. had been given. We treasured the childhood years of our children, even though

  722. we were involved in ministry at a very high level and a great degree since

  723. to how and I sought out opportunities to create memories and give special attention to

  724. our children as the Lord forged informed their identities. There were a lot of

  725. times on our way back we stopped at a park. There were a lot

  726. of times on our way back we stopped, got a hotel between here and

  727. Mulberry, and then on Monday we just spent it at the park. We

  728. were not going to let them lose their childhood. Because they were so enveloped

  729. and wrapped up and involved in ministry, it had been really easy for them

  730. to have lost their childhood. Although they did learn to labor and the ministry

  731. to work on the House of God, we didn't allow circumstances and ministry to

  732. deprive them of the normal experiences of childhood. You let that preacher speak to

  733. you one word, and let your wife get working on you. We need

  734. a truck and trade and we need to go. You're going to deprive your

  735. family of very important things. You will rob them of their childhood. I'm

  736. telling you, if you only knew the casualties, the number of the casualties,

  737. and the extreme consequences of somebody moving out to do God's work too,

  738. Sam, if you only need and all it takes is at the church,

  739. somebody that's childish and simple minded to approach one of these preachers and say,

  740. stick pon us, that is a message if I've ever heard of one.

  741. You're a chip off the old blog and you're going to be a mighty evangelists.

  742. And if that seat has planted and he don't realize, wait a minute,

  743. if he don't look for this message into archives and realize, do y'all

  744. realize that in even saying that to Samuel Howell, the preacher of the great

  745. message stick ponies, that even the title of his message slaps you to your

  746. knees, or slaps you boy. Do y'all not realize that that message was

  747. exactly about what I'm preaching this morning. Stay in your respective places, and

  748. don't get too big for your preaches. Once we have all of the toys

  749. back in the toy box. As long as you keep losing your temper,

  750. as long as you keep having attitudes, as long as you keep pouting rather

  751. than shouting, you're unprofitable for ministry. You're a John Mark that apostle Paul

  752. does not want. But when John Mark has put all the toys in the

  753. toy box, and when he can say I'm no longer going to mommy who

  754. has the best prayer of meetings in town, and she did. John Mark's

  755. mother was great friends with all the apostles. She was the one who could

  756. hold a prayer of meeting that liberated Peter. John Mark walked shoulder to shoulders

  757. with Peter, and he could tell Paul, I don't care a brother Peter

  758. will take care of me. Brother Peter will Moore has hide out. So

  759. it took a part of us to say, pick up your toys, john

  760. Mark, pick up your toys. And so later, the great apostle Paul

  761. is getting ready. Imagine him putting on his right side, imagine putting on

  762. his boots, getting ready for another missionary journey. Somebody says, what about

  763. John Mark? He said, yeah, I need it. He's profitable.

  764. Now part of us has made a man out of it. You could leave

  765. out tomorrow and face shipwreck and lose everything, or you can leave out ten

  766. years from now and be greatly blessed. Psama said, my soul is even

  767. as a wean child. I've got about halfway through this message. I don't

  768. know whether to keep preaching or not, but childhood memories bring smiles to our

  769. faces. You need to learn how to deal with difficult situations, about watching

  770. your pastor watching the elders in your church. There's just some things you cannot

  771. learn except through experience. I remember when I was at my twenties, thinking

  772. what could I love? Lear? I could learn anything, announces to him.

  773. And here I am near fifty, and I'm thinking, oh, okay,

  774. so that's what they mean. There's just some things you have to live

  775. in order to understand. And I'll keep about speaking tongues. Here a good

  776. holiness preacher tells the story of how he had played baseball in high school and

  777. there was a certain picture that loved for him to catch. He said he

  778. played catcher for years and said that whenever he got into a senior year of

  779. high school, he was supposed to play catching. And he said he got

  780. to thinking about the responsibilities of being a husband and a father, and he

  781. decided in his senior year he entered the DCT work program. Somebody don't know

  782. what that is. You go to school for half of the day and you

  783. work for half a day. That's me. I'm that guy. My senior

  784. year I had every credit I needed. I could just literally sit there.

  785. You were like that too, right, just sit there in high school.

  786. Your pastor and your teachers ain't dumbage. I literally was coaching through my senior

  787. year, sitting there doing us, and I said, might as well work

  788. makes them money. They wouldn't even let me fail either, just sit there.

  789. So I went to work. But this preacher entered the DCT work program

  790. his senior year, learning a trade. The coach of the baseball team came

  791. to him and said, we need you this season. We need you to

  792. play catcher. You're the press catching we have. You're the best catcher for

  793. that picture. You and him know each other. It's sad, you know,

  794. and he said that. He told that coach. He said, coach,

  795. it's time to hang up in rose and it's time to go to work.

  796. He said, I've never looked back. And that's what I'm saying.

  797. For you that are seeking the Holy Ghost. Put to toys in the toy

  798. box and kid after it. Brother Jesse, would you come to the PM.

  799. I really feel like this sermon right here not because of me, but

  800. because of what God has given me for you. It will be the catalyst

  801. to an amazing radical change in your life. When you start working spiritually,

  802. you will begin to transition from depending on others to get in your shower to

  803. working on it yourself. When you start working spiritually, you will transition from

  804. depending on others to feel better about yourself, and you will get in a

  805. position where others can depend on you. When you start working and stop playing

  806. church, we will be able to trust you not have to worry about you

  807. falling out of church, being in and out and up and down. When

  808. you really stop playing church and you really start working church, it's a service.

  809. A services work. You ask those that have joined the armed forces that

  810. have joined the service, it's work. What about those spiritual gifts that we

  811. have received? You see us working with those gifts. How many could say

  812. I felt a spiritual transition from a spiritual childhood to a spiritual adulthood when I

  813. got the Holy gist? Anybody notice? Paul addressed the believers that Christ with

  814. these words, I spake as a child Christians, mature Christians and immature Christians

  815. will not swear and cuss. You're not profitable for the ministry or for the

  816. kingdom. You're not productor for your local assembly. If you're still losing your

  817. tent for your cool fouting off at the mouth, And if you've got a

  818. hotty mouth, brother, tyler, what would you think of that person that

  819. you worked with who professes to be a Christian When they get into a difficult

  820. situation, they use words that are offensive to you and your lord, you

  821. would say, there's certainly not a but you're a Christian. And you would

  822. dare to say they're not even an immate or a Christian, they're not even

  823. saved for the tyler would say, how could they be custom like a sailor

  824. the apostle Peter, who has been erroneously and false accused for abusing swear words

  825. and vulgarity and custom. Whenever the young damsel accused him of being a follower

  826. of Christ, that is not correct. He had been a very diligent student

  827. of Judaism and had been a religious man. And whenever they told him,

  828. you've been in Christ, you're follower of Christ, you're one of his secret

  829. followers, he would get to speak immaturely and very aggressively and pretty much denounce

  830. Christ as deity and denounce him as savior. In other words, he used

  831. the same verbiage the Pharisees scribed as sadus. He's used. He was an

  832. essence saying I want to guys, that's why you got to be careful getting

  833. out there too fast, because right now you can say I'm one of you,

  834. guys, I'm old time holding as I'm an old time preacher. But

  835. when the pressure comes on, if you're still childish and you still respond to

  836. peer pressure that brother Jacob was talking about the other night, we'll be crying

  837. our eyes out. Me and brother Thomas Stare will be saying, how did

  838. we birth a liberal charismatic pasture because you went out too soon, very sober

  839. messages on the heels of a wonderful revival for a pastor to slow down and

  840. say, let's do an analysis, and let's look and see. Are we

  841. speaking like men? Are we thinking like men? Are we understanding like men?

  842. In First Printhia's fourteen and twenty he said, brethren be not children and

  843. understanding. How be it in malice be chill, but an understanding be men?

  844. Do you all understand? I love holy ghost services. I love this

  845. shouting. I love when a preacher puts his hand on a brother like this

  846. and says, see you the holy ghoster. He says, God's going to

  847. use it. A little man like this goes off shouting that's grained, but

  848. I love it a whole lot better. Whenever a pastor speaks a word of

  849. prophecy and says somebody like this is abody get in trouble. Somebody don't stop

  850. whispering in their ear right. So let's stand here. I dedicate this message

  851. to brother Ethan this morning. In Isaiah chapter number twenty eight versus number nine

  852. and ten. You see the question is ask who will he teach knowledge?

  853. I'm paraphrasing. He said, those who are freshly weaned from their mothers,

  854. who understand the message or the judgment. Those that have set in the class

  855. of just a road cap, those that have set under the pastor of Jeremy

  856. how or any other pastor that's preaching the truth, who will understand that God

  857. does not play and then sin requires judgment. Isaiah was trying to tell the

  858. people, Brother Caleb. He was trying to tell the judgment's coming, and

  859. he says, they don't even understand it. They haven't been taught. They

  860. don't even understand even though their ignorant judgment is coming. And this is why

  861. you have a pastor. Sometimes at you stand up testifying and say they don't

  862. know God loves them. I used to not know either. The difference in

  863. you and them is you were a truth seeker. That's why you found it,

  864. because if they were really seeking truth, they would find it. That's

  865. how you found a Brother Gabriel, That's how I found it in high school.

  866. That's how you found it, Brother Jeremiah. But I know we stand

  867. up in a romance and false who plant seeds in these young pastors and preachers

  868. minds? They're just innocent people, Brother Gabriel said other night. They're not

  869. nearly as sweet as we go crow it. For those of you that are

  870. seeking the holy ghosts, there's some growing to do. Those of you that

  871. have the Holy ghost there's some growing to do. And I got so much

  872. more to preach. But we will hold right there. If you're in this

  873. building this morning, and you admit I've got some spiritual development yet to go,

  874. would you raise your hand? I raise them, mind, I'm the

  875. first to raise mine. Looks like it's unanimous. All of us feel that

  876. way. Could Could we gather around and ask God to help us have a

  877. love for His house. Could we gather around and realize we need pastors We

  878. need faithful church attendance. We need teachers, We need to be edified.

  879. We need to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Savior Jesus

  880. Christ. Because we are judgment bound people. Let's have understanding. I see

  881. things now, Preacher, that I didn't want to see, so clearly I

  882. understand things seeing it burn. He's molding you, He's molding you. Put

  883. the toys back at the toy box. Put the toys in the toybox.

  884. Yes, I love having new converts in the church. I appreciate each and

  885. every one of you. You're such a blessing. It's wonderful to witness the

  886. way the Lord is blessing the church. She is. I want to tell

  887. you all the growing up spiritually isn't always a fun process, but it can

  888. be very rewarding. It can be very rewarded. What really bothers me is

  889. what I've seen people in church for decades, and there's no spiritual development.

  890. There's no spiritual growth, there's no impatience of an experience. That's what bothers

  891. me. So for the young to the old, for the maturing to the

  892. immature, I ask you, let's put the toys in the toy box.

  893. Let's have church. Let's take church attendance seriously. Let's take of our body

  894. will shously. Let's take growing in the face seriously. Why don't you thankful

  895. for these moldy years. These molding bears are not unfolds. Lord, Thank

  896. you God for dealing with us regarding the ways of gasbling. Thank you God

  897. for dealing with us. Thank you, Thank you for caring enough for us.

  898. Thank you for guys. Thank thank you for slowing down speaking clearly for

  899. prophecy through the preaching of the world. Thank you for making up for me.

  900. Thank you for helping me understanding. Thank you for speaking us a head.

  901. There's somebody in this building. You want to learn. That guy's going

  902. to teaching. He loved Natasha. I am mooding in his IDEs. He

  903. want speak to speak, and I stop, and by so brave. He

  904. just picks it up the pieces. He doesn't throw the play hand over.

  905. He moves me and makes me his his. He fast the play a h

  906. throw the play you te broke and I came at a vessel unworthy and shops

  907. godwach. But he did not bespend. He started over again, and I

  908. bless the day he didn't throw the over. He holds me and makes me

  909. likeness be Fasha, lovely lis he calls and go, he hos me.

  910. It makes me to he like this. That's this, he calls hes the

  911. pater. I can't play holding it is eb. He won't sweep to speak

  912. my queen and I stumbled, and by a green he just speaks up the

  913. pieces. He doesn't throw play
