To be here this morning, and we're new to most of the area of
-
the whole state. We've been here a few times, but now I just
-
wanted to introduce ourselves. But my name's Melissa, and most people call me
-
missy. It just really doesn't matter. But usually I get called Melissa when
-
I'm in trouble, so by my dad or my husband, So if you
-
call me that, I might think I'm in trouble. But anyway, it's
-
so good to be here. I have felt the presence of the Lord in
-
Sunday school and the worship service. But I'm We have been married a long
-
time, we have three children, been married thirty almost thirty three years,
-
and we've been traveling and evangelizing for most of that time. And we do
-
have three children. And but the best part is we have eight grandchildren.
-
And it really does it really is as good as what all those elderly people
-
used, you know, to think, Oh, you know, all the
-
pictures all to talk about the grandkids, it cannot be that good, But
-
it really is. And so I'm thankful for our grandchildren. Our oldest just
-
got her just had her first real experience with the Lord a couple of weeks
-
ago, and I'm telling you, and she's ten, and her Papa and
-
I have been praying for that special experience because she can't get to Heaven on
-
the coattails of the mama or daddy or grandma and grandpa. Pastor, you've
-
got to have that experience for yourself, and we've been praying for that,
-
and we wasn't there to enjoy it, but we got pictures and videos that
-
they they sent us because they knew we want to see it. And I'm
-
so thankful that God reaches to the children. I'm so thankful for that because
-
I love our kids and great babies, and and we've already met a great
-
young man here this morning, Brother Titus, sweet little guy right there.
-
And we just love the children, love to see the Lord move. But
-
it's so good to be here in LaBelle, Florida. I've never been to
-
South Florida before, and um, so we're just thankful and we're looking forward
-
to revival. Thank God for your pastor. It's just such a privilege to
-
actually meet him. It's our first time in South Florida. And I've heard
-
so many wonderful things concerning this church, concerning your pastor and I'm just excited
-
to get to be in south Forth. Thank you so much for the wonderful
-
um lodging that you have provided is just fabulous, awesome, thank you so
-
much, let me say, and also the Sunday Schools road and road cap
-
that was my goodness. I you know what, I am absolutely believing one
-
percent. What I mean by that is I have no doubt. I believe
-
it fully, Brother proad Captain yours. Does anybody believe that with me?
-
Because all it takes us two or three? Thank God, Thank God,
-
take God al la Luijah. Well, you'll be turning to the Book of
-
Saint Luke, Doctor Luke, chapter number eight. Um, when I preaching
-
tell you a lot about what the Lord has done for me. I want
-
to uh start off this morning by giving the devil a black eye and assuring
-
you that, yes, it's what the Lord has done for me. But
-
it's not about me. You don't want to hear me tell you all about
-
me. Hey man, it's not about me. It's about chiefs Kyle l
-
Luijah. The Book of Saint Luke and chapter number eight, let's start reading
-
it. Verse number forty one. I love that everybody stand if you're able
-
to reference the reading of the Word of God the Book of Luke, chapter
-
eight and verse number forty one. And behold, there came a man named
-
Jaris, and he was a ruler of the synagogue, and he fell down
-
at Jesus's feet. Let me start right there, just to explain something real
-
quick. I didn't know what this meant, so I looked it up,
-
and what a little bit that I could that he was a ruler of the
-
synagogue, that was a prestigious office, that he was a expert of the
-
law. And so everyone in the synagogue looked to him to find out for
-
sure the meanings and so forth of the law. Because I know that whenever
-
you have read the beginnings of the Old Testament, Moses is writing about the
-
law. You know that. You know I'm telling you the truth. No
-
matter how intelligent you are, like me, you tried to stay awake and
-
then you got lost somewhere in there. So that's what that this gentleman was
-
was. He was a very important man of prestige, very educated and intelligence.
-
But that man, it said, fall down at Jesus's feet and besought
-
him that he would come into his house where he had one only talking about
-
twelve years of age, and she had dying. But as he went the
-
people thronged him, and the woman, having an issue of blood twelve years,
-
which has been all her living upon physician, neither could be healed of
-
any came behind him and touched the border of his garment, and immediately her
-
issue of blood stouched. And Jesus said, who touched me? When all
-
denied Peter, and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude
-
thronged thee and pressed thee, and says, now who touched me? And
-
Jesus said, somebody hath touched me? For I perceived that virtue, the
-
power and virtue has gone out of me. And when the woman saw that
-
she was not hit, she came trembling and declared him before all the people
-
for what cause she had touched him? And how she was healed immediately?
-
And he said, under her daughter, be of good comfort. Thy faith
-
hath made thee hole go in peace. Be of good comfort, Thy faith
-
hath made thee hole go in peace. While he yets faith Jesus, While
-
Jesus yet faith. There cometh one from the roar of the synagogue's house,
-
saying to him my daughter is dead. She will not do Master. But
-
when Jesus hearted, he answered him, saying, fear not believe. Holy,
-
could you and I make the enemy mad and say those four words together,
-
fear not believe, and she shall be made home. And when and
-
when he was come into the house, he suffered no man to go in,
-
say Peter and James and John, and the father and the mother of
-
the maiden, and all wept and bewail her. And he said, we
-
not, she is not dead, but sleep him. And when they and
-
they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead, and he put
-
them all out, took her by the hand and called, saying, made
-
a rah, and her spirit came again. And she's straight, and he's
-
straight, and she's straightway, and commanded to give her meat. And her
-
parents were astonished. But he charged him that they should tell no man what
-
was done. Lord. We'd thank you. We phrase you, Lord all
-
from moving up on uctor looke, Oh Lord, to share these wonderful words
-
with us. I prayed, Lord, not my will, but thy will.
-
This morning, Oh God, move amongst us, Jesus, I prayed,
-
thy will be done moving this altar service today. God, I pleaded
-
the blood for this altar service. Lord Lord, that great things happened around
-
your altar today, Lord, for this is a place that we have sectified
-
as our place to meet you, and we are believing in the name of
-
Jesus, you are going to meet us in the altar this morning in the
-
name of Jesus. And the church said, day, Halleluia, you may
-
be seated if you can. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Thank God, thank God.
-
Well in this story, I love the way that's when ge said,
-
uh, she's not dead, show me sleeping. Now. I understand that
-
the pastor made it very clear this morning that this gentleman that's writing this,
-
he was not just someone that was hurt the story because you know who wasn't
-
here. Of course when this happened. He asked people that was there,
-
and when they all told him the story. I can imagine y'all have been
-
to the doctor. You know how they are. They're they're full of questioning,
-
you know, hack like everything's your fault, you know what I'm talking
-
about. And I'm sure that doctor Luke said things like, oh, okay,
-
okay, okay, you're saying that you knew she was there. Okay,
-
okay, but did you do that? Did you check it this way?
-
Okay? But what about this? Oh? But but did you do
-
this? And so? Luke? Doctor Luke wrote after he had asked all
-
these questions, I'm sure after he had heard it from eyewitnesses, he might
-
have talked to the very mom and dad that was there. He wrote and
-
said they had laughed Jesus to scorn know him she was dead. Not,
-
he did not say, because they was pretty sure she was dead. The
-
doctor did not say. They laughed him the score and cause most of them
-
figured, you know, she probably dead. That's not what he said.
-
They laughed him to score knowing she was dead. Oh, my friend,
-
I'm here to tell you that it ain't over. That's bad English. It's
-
not over. Come on here now, I'm him Southforna. Y'all say,
-
ain't it ain't over? To Jesus says itself. And Jesus has given me
-
the privilege to come to the metal hole in his church this morning to tell
-
Brother Rode Captain, to tell Sister Hat to tell you and your children in
-
your situation that it ain't holful. Come on, come on, ooh,
-
physicians, hear me say it ain't over, Oh, mister Baker, hear
-
me say, it ain't hoof to the marriage counselor it ain't hold to all
-
the family members that love you and really think they're telling you right, and
-
then really just keeps making you more nervous and making you want to to scream
-
sometimes, to all of those people that love us and are getting us all
-
kinds of their opinions, it ain't over. Come over to the judge that
-
slapped his gravel down and made his statement, it ain't hope. To the
-
police that said, that's far enough right there and put your hands up,
-
it ain't hold. It ain't over till cheese as and Jesus has brought good
-
news to give you this morning. It ain't over. Hell, it ain't
-
over. It ain't over for Hallelujah. However, I had the joy of
-
pastoring in southern Illinois, which is a long way from southern Florida, so
-
we're near that south, but in southern Illinois, I was on my way
-
to make a hospital visit to Cape Gerardo, Missouri, and about a fifteen
-
minute drive or so, and they're on State Route three. I was in
-
my sixth day old Suzuki Samurai. Do you all know what a Suzuki Samurai
-
is. It was made in a deal with General Motors that made the Geo
-
Trackers, the same thing based as a Geo tracks Auzuki Samurai and a very
-
small vehicle, but man, great gas miles and I was so proud of
-
that thing and my smart He like, Dad, bliss is hard, he
-
said. When I called and told him that great vehicle that I got,
-
he said, dear Lord's son, what if you'd haven't reckoned something like that?
-
I like that. Well. That day police estimated I was one fifty
-
miles an hour on that two lane road. Another gentleman talking on a cell
-
phone while trying to read off the order that he just got from the last
-
place he was at. He was a salesman whatever, and he was trying
-
to read. He was trying to hold his cell phone. The police estimate
-
he was going seventy five miles an hour on his full size buticle Sabra,
-
and at the same time with this coffee. And you understand all the things
-
that's going on. Surely you've never done anything like that. But going seventy
-
five miles an hour, He crossed the yellow line and he hit me head
-
on. It was a complete accident on his part, there's uh. It
-
was certainly not something that was done purposely. However, Satan had a plane
-
come on there. The devil had a plane. The nine one one was
-
called, of course, and the medics came, and the head medic his
-
mama, sister, Molly Morgan, was our elder lady in the church,
-
our oldest member of the church, and that was her. Her son was
-
the head metic. But understand, he knew who I was because this happened
-
on Monday morning and Saturday afternoon, I had preached his younger sister's funeral,
-
so he knew who I was. And whenever he came to the scene,
-
it was his mama's pastor that he had just cried tears with and spent hours
-
with whenever his sister had died. And so immediately he began to look for
-
a sign of life, and he couldn't find any. And he did all
-
that he could, And the other fireman told me how that he was pushing
-
and trying to remove the pressure from around me and everything, so trying to
-
relieve it and trying to find a sign of life. But he could find
-
none, and he officially pronuce else twee d o a dead on a rifle.
-
He went back to the ambulance and there he wrote up my death certificates
-
while the other fireman was trying to get my body out of the wreckage.
-
And there in the ambulance he wrote up my death certificate, which to my
-
knowledge is still on file at the Union County Courthouse in Jonesborough, Illinois.
-
Oh but I haven't got good news for all of those people at the courthouse.
-
Come on now, I am not buried. Oh but I'm somewhere in
-
South Florida, and I'm telling folks it ain't over, because the death certificate
-
says it's over. Geez. This is the old one that has the final
-
say. The last words is Jesus, hey man. He always has the
-
last say, no matter what anybody else says. Hi, We're like Jesus
-
always has the last say. Somebody give him honor today, Somebody raised your
-
hands and give him glovery this morning. He disturbs the glory that you can
-
give him this morning because he has the last say and the situation that you're
-
facing great table, Well God, in no way, shape or form,
-
am I one of those folks that tells you every day and every time that
-
I have the privilege to come to the platform all the many things that the
-
Lord told me, and and I wish I could, but I can't do
-
that. Oh but I can tell you that last night, a few hours
-
ago, Oh, the Lord stirred something within me, and he let me
-
know that this morning I was going to have the privilege to preach this somebody
-
that feels like their situation is over, that feels like there's no hope,
-
that it's just over for them. Oh, but I have come to remind
-
you of the truth that I know you already know. But sometimes we just
-
need somebody to come by and remind us. They man all come home.
-
Now. If it would have been Pastor how a great man of God,
-
a great pastor, if he would have stood here this morning and said the
-
same exact words. Yet you know he knows your situation. Well, of
-
course that's what he's gonna say. I mean, he is the pastor.
-
Or understand, I've never mentioned before. I've never been in this part of
-
the United States before, But the Lord has sent me here to tell you
-
whether road cap it ain't over, it ain't over. The Lord has sent
-
me to remind you of the truth of the word of God. Until jos
-
says it's over, it ain't over a man. And Jesus said to that
-
family, she is not dead, She only sleeping. Yeah, they laughed
-
in the score. And go ahead and laugh, my friend, go ahead
-
and let the world laugh. Go ahead and let our friends laugh. But
-
we are still old time believers that Jesus cast the last said. And so
-
there they rushed me by and by helicopter and the helicopter ambulance to the Southeast
-
Missouri Hospital in Cape Gerardo, Missouri. And there doctor Martin told me the
-
story himself. He said that whenever I came that he immediately began to look
-
for a sign of life, and he found none, he said, so
-
immediately, he said, I began to do things to try to restore your
-
breathing, to try to bring back the life. I started doing all that
-
I could. And I don't know what all that partook of. I don't
-
know if they used the electrical panels, I don't know, but I know
-
that he told me that we did all that we could to try to regain
-
restore your life. Oh, but we were unsuccessful. He told me,
-
how that he went and signed the death certificate to make it legal. Amen,
-
And how that the state police went back to the parsonage that we lived
-
in next to the church there and told my wife, and she got the
-
phone call from the hospital and so forth, that all of these things was
-
being done. And so for me, they just covered me up with the
-
sheet, the old saying is a white sheet. I hope know what color
-
it was. But they covered me up with the sheets, pushed the gurney
-
over against the wall, and there are lady, by man's definition dead,
-
let me stop right there, I said, by man's definition dead. Man's
-
definition, according to doctor Luke, was that Jersey's daughter was dead. They
-
laughed in the scorn knowing she was dead. Come on, then, oh,
-
you don't send the state police to a house to give such news to
-
someone that you're not for sure. Come on, the E and T doesn't
-
make out the death certificates. The doctor doesn't sign the death certificates. It's
-
not like that unless they are sure the dead. Who But that's fine man's
-
definition. Come on here now. Man's definition may be that your child will
-
never come back, that your child will never power this also, but Jesus
-
sees things a whole lot difference than this world sees things. The doctor may
-
say that there is no hold. The doctor may say there is no cure.
-
The doctor may say that this is just the way it is, and
-
it will soon be over for you. But I have come with good news
-
today to tell you that's all appointing to man's definition. WHOA, But man's
-
definition is not what we're here to be back. I'm not here to explain
-
to you all about what man's definition is. Already were taught that you've already
-
met the store. You've already lived in this world for how along you know
-
what man's definition is. But I have come to remind you, according to
-
the Holy Word of God, Hey, it ain't over until Jesus says it's
-
over. And she's not dead just because they say she is until jee.
-
Now there's gonna come a day, right, Come on here, now,
-
man, there's gonna come a day that Jesus says on this earth, it's
-
hopeful, right, run to the altar. Why he got time? Run
-
to the altar? Or why he got time? For those of us that
-
believe we are going to hear the sound? Oh, it's gonna sound like
-
a trumpet. Oh, my friend, we're going to lose all the structures
-
of gravity and we're going to be caught up in the air to meet the
-
Lord. Hallelujah, halleluiah, my friend. When that day comes, it
-
is over all this earth and him. You better run to the altar a
-
while. You still have time, because time assume running out. Oh,
-
but I'm so glad to tell you this morning that it is not over.
-
There's still time for you to find forgiveness. There's still time for you to
-
find new life. There's still time for you to understand for yourself what makes
-
these people dance in the spirit, what makes these people raise their hands into
-
relationship, what makes these people sing and cry and feel so wonderful? Oh,
-
you can find out for yourself right here this morning. You can find
-
out for yourself. This is real. This is real, This is real.
-
Yeah yeah, Oh, And it ain't over. There still time for
-
you to come to the all time. You don't even have to wait for
-
me to make an order call. You can just come because you feel that
-
Come. Come let it, my friends. No matter what all of the
-
you know, they have all of these different ways of taking the pictures,
-
the X rays and the all what's that thing? The Mr I yeah,
-
and all that stuff, you know. And they have showed me different X
-
rays and mr eyes that explain things that was wrong with me and the injuries,
-
even though that they had found that the Lord had restored. Oh,
-
I hadn't told you about that. Let me tell you. I'm over here
-
on the journey up against the wall, and doctor Martin said, and he
-
kept shaking his head, and he'd kind of about half life and said,
-
I can't believe I'm telling you this. I just can't believe I'm talking to
-
the person that was laying there. He said. I had been in the
-
emergency room all night, and now you know, it was the next afternoon.
-
He said, I'd been there so many hours. I was so ready
-
to go home, he said, and I was so glad when another doctor
-
came in to relieve me. I was in such a hurry. I needed
-
to go home and rest and have so much to do, he says.
-
I was in a hurry to get out of there. And he said,
-
as I was walking out, he said, and the thought came to me,
-
you need to go over there and make sure that that preacher is dead.
-
Now, wait a minute, he said, I've been a doctor for
-
many years. You know how unprofessional that would be for me to go over
-
after I have signed at the certificate, after they've been there to get his
-
wife, and now to go over and make sure that he's still dead.
-
That'll be very unprofessional, he said. But I couldn't help it. Something
-
pulled me over their team. So I can't explain, I said, I
-
can explain it. I know what it was over now, he said.
-
Something pulled me over there to him. And when I reached underneath the sheet
-
and I took you by the hand, I immediately felt a mighty strong pulse.
-
All th cheeses they plashed me when man's definition said that I was dead
-
with a death cert certificate is right there to prove the fact signed by the
-
doctor that by man's definition, I was dead. Oh, but I'm here
-
to tell you it ain't over two Cheem's success. It's over. Ah.
-
The Lord is so glad and so please that you're in the House of God
-
this morning. And this says no morning that you can come and find that
-
there is still home. There is still time, there is still the way
-
for things to change in your life. Amen. Well, my friend Jesus
-
says, it ain't go for now. It might be what time does church
-
starts to night pastor house? The good Lord willing? And you know the
-
Bible teaches us to say the Lord's will. If it be the Lord's will,
-
my short way o Hio way of saying, it's good Lord willing.
-
I'll be back here at six o'clock. But there's no guarantee of that.
-
And even if I think it to be back here at six o'clock, there's
-
no guarantee you come on. Then there are a million things other than the
-
trumpet sounds that could happen before six o'clock that you wouldn't be here all.
-
But right now is your opportunity. Right now is your divine chance to come
-
and find grace and find that help that how many letters was it? Fourteen
-
letters? Seventeen letters the word help and the who who's telling that? Seventeen
-
letters? That was translated to help? Whatever that seventeen letter word is,
-
you can find the right here. You're all death. That's good news,
-
fuls, let's all stand. It is such a divine pleasure, an opportunity
-
to be the one to be allowed to come to you this morning and remind
-
you that it ain't over and lets you know that there is help right here
-
at this altar. Oh, my friend, you can find salvation, You
-
can find healing. You can find help that the banker can give you.
-
You can find counsel that the educated one of the marriage counselor can't give you.
-
You can find one that has an opinion way higher and way more positive
-
than all those that says it's too late. You can come, my friend,
-
this morning, right now, every head bowed, every eye closed,
-
I'm asking you right now to search your own life with that bright lights your
-
own situation. Do you need Jesus to help you this morning? Only you
-
know, only you know how bad that you need him. And right now
-
I'm asking you to come and fill up these altars. Pastor, do we
-
have a man side of the lady's side? Here is this the men's side,
-
and the ladies to your left and men to your right. Everyone that
-
would like to have Jesus help him, Let's come and fill up these altars
-
this morning. Let's come. These front pews are open, all this altar
-
is open. We have room for you this morning, everyone that will come.
-
If you need a help of Jesus Christ. If you have things figured
-
out yourself, you really need the help of Jesus Christ. All the altar
-
is open. Come, my friend, come and find Jesus is here to
-
help you. Come and find Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, he love is
-
