  1. Amen. Ain't you thanking for the presence of the Lord thus far? Emen?

  2. I believe he has a He always does have a plan for the service.

  3. Amen. Where he's God. So I don't want to stand in the

  4. way, but I'd rather like to be a health Amen to someone. Amen,

  5. praise God. I thank God for our pastor. We miss him Amen

  6. greatly this morning, Amen, and we're praying for his safe return. Amen.

  7. Of looking forward to the night's service. Amen. How God will help

  8. us there? Um? How many knows what Luca's first Peter three in chapter

  9. first Peter, chapter number three and verse number one is that's I believe that's

  10. where the Bible it said it starts speaking to the wives and said when there'll

  11. be subject. Well, we got in the car this morning. I was

  12. teasing my wife that come on, I said, well, you turn that

  13. off offly quick. She was trying to disconnect the bluetooth. It was just

  14. kind of something comical that happens. I was teasing with teasing her about I'm

  15. gonna tell the church about how how you didn't want to hear that? Amen.

  16. But I hope this morning y'all turned the preacher off. This morning,

  17. y'all listening to what the Lord has I ain't here to hurt nobody. I'm

  18. like, amen to speak to speak to you briefly, hopefully this morning,

  19. unless the Lord wills otherwise. Out of the book of Second Thessalonians. Amen,

  20. we'll look at the book of Second Tessalonians, and in chapter number three

  21. we're gonna read a little bit over in Second Samuel as well. Second Thessalonians

  22. chapter number three, we're gonna begin reading verse number six. When you have

  23. us see a man all right, the Bible the word of the Lord said.

  24. Now we command you, brethren, in the name of the Lord Jesus

  25. Christ, that you withdraw yourself from every brother that walketh this orderly and not

  26. after the tradition which He received of us for yourselves. Know how you ought

  27. to follow us, For we behaved our We behaved not ourselves disorderly among you.

  28. Neither did we eat any man's bread for naught, but wrought with labor

  29. and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of

  30. you a minute. You would stress your hand toward Heaven, ask God to

  31. help us discord it. God, we thank you for traversing RACI many blessing

  32. Lord God. Lord. We thank you bro that you've God, Lord,

  33. all that you're doing. Lord, we ask that you would help Lord God

  34. and every God Lord said it God about our mouth, after Lord and Jesus

  35. name. We're asking thank you for halle Louis. Amen. I'm rarely one

  36. of those preachers that reach with frogs. Am. I gont letting do this.

  37. They gonna bear with me here, Amen. I'm sure we've all seen

  38. signs like this, Amen, and they're getting Honestly, they're getting fewer and

  39. far between. In the day which we live in. Amen. People have

  40. a handout, Amen, but they're not really looking to do something to better

  41. themselves. Amen. Flip over, we'll be the Second Samuel, chapter number

  42. five. We're gonna read amen, a few verses here that the Lord had

  43. laid on my heart. And it's going to probably seem like, how is

  44. this going to tie together? Amen? But I believe the Lord can tie

  45. this together and help us understand Amen. Something in the world of God.

  46. Second Second Samuel, chapter number five, Verse number twenty two said, and

  47. the Philistines came up yet again and spread themselves from the valley of refee him.

  48. And when David inquired the Lord. He said, thou shalt not go

  49. up, but fetch a compass behind him, and come upon them over against

  50. the mulberry trees. And let it be when thou here's the sound of the

  51. going in the tops of the mulberry trees. That then thou shalt bestir thyself.

  52. For then shall the Lord go up, go out the fort thee to

  53. smite the host of the Philistines. And David did so as the Lord had

  54. commanded him, and smoked the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gayzer and

  55. man now back over in Thessalonians, will will start. I would consider second

  56. Thessalonians, chapter number three my golden text here and then where the portion,

  57. the main portion of my burden would be, as God directed me into this

  58. sermon. And Apostle Paul, here the mighty pioneer of the gentile frontier is

  59. the one riding here this book of the Abel Thessalonians. A man. He

  60. is writing to a young congregation here, not in age, but a young

  61. congregation in the Lord, and men, these are converts. These are the

  62. converts, Amen. That and you, as you read through here, you'll

  63. see an apostle Paul has almost like a father like burden for these uh,

  64. these children here, that he is desired to impart the necessities of the faith,

  65. in the necessities of the doctrine of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  66. Some things he felt like he wasn't able to impartner them. And you ask

  67. why is that? And uh, if you read about this this uh here.

  68. The church at Thessalonika was a church that was about one hundred miles from

  69. Philippi. There was an estimated about two hundred thousand inhabitants here in this region,

  70. and there among those was a very strong of Jewish and juday iSER come

  71. community here. And because of this we saw that Apostle Paul became a persecuted,

  72. very old in the birth of the church at Theslonaika. And then we

  73. saw throughout the Bible Paul would pine your churches. Sometimes the Bible showed us

  74. he spent two or three years. Amen. Sometimes he would come and go,

  75. and man saw he made it back to others he never made it back

  76. to never made a return trip. Amen. But here we would find in

  77. this in the Book of Thessalonians, where he had a burden to return and

  78. he would say, pray for me, amen, that I'm able to make

  79. it back to you here. Aman, this is a young congregation, a

  80. congregation Amen, that needs something from the Apostle Paul. But because of persecution,

  81. Amen, there was a separation. Amen, and we miss our pastor.

  82. As I've already said today. Amen, you can kind of feel how

  83. the service is and imagine that being an indefinite situation. Amen. Apostle Paul.

  84. In the church to deathelon Nika, a man experienced a separation very early

  85. on after they had been converted. Amen. And we find he wrote upon

  86. the wrote one epistle unto them, which is the First Tessalonians. And then

  87. and again he had another burden too, writing to them Second Testalonians. And

  88. man were reading in chapter number three. Amen, Paul is instructing them in

  89. regards to how well abled bodied individuals ought to conduct themselves. And I pray,

  90. I want to turn me off. Y'all bear with me here, Amen.

  91. Paul gives here a directive and a commandment. Starting in verse number six,

  92. he said, now we command you, brethren, in the name of

  93. the Lord Jesus Chrift, that he withdraw himself from every brother that walking disorderly,

  94. and not after the tradition which he received of us. Amen. So

  95. Paul here gives them a commandment, a directive a man no different than it

  96. passed to us, to stand up here and say so and so quit doing

  97. this, show us though, quit doing that, a man, You're gonna

  98. enough in trouble if you keep going down that road. Here he tells them,

  99. Amen, to withdraw themselves from a certain type of individual. He intends

  100. for it to be obeyed by everyone that reads this epistle. Amen. And

  101. this should be obeyed by even us in this day and generation. Amen.

  102. We know the Bible that all scripture is profitable for doctrine. Amen. He

  103. shows them an example here he puts them and then to a particular amen,

  104. individual, and it is him and those that were with him. He puts

  105. them in remembrance of the way they conducted themselves. And we know there are

  106. ways and a Christians should conduct themselves a way a Christians shouldn't conduct themselves.

  107. And here and then he's got some people in the church here in this alone

  108. and the thistle and Naga. Amen, they're acting a little bit out of

  109. character. Amen. And they're trying to get a free ride free ride if

  110. you would, Amen. Now we o. The Bible tells us that I'm

  111. trying to live a foundation. Y'all there with me here. We know the

  112. pause character, Amen, And how the Bible would speak of Amen. When

  113. he was at one individual's house, it might have been lydia. He was

  114. a temp maker. Amen. The Bible said he wrote wrought with them in

  115. their occupation. Amen. Apostle Paul wasn't a preacher that would just come through

  116. town, that traveled from a continent the continent, trying to find the next

  117. free ride in the next handout. And there are preachers that used the children

  118. of God as merchandise. And we don't have a pastor like that a man.

  119. But there are preachers that use the children of God as merchandise a man.

  120. It's an easy occupation. They preached once or twice a week a man

  121. in two or three different states, and not to pay the bills, and

  122. they never really hold down a job. A man of their family suffers because

  123. of it. And we know the Bible said he a man that wouldn't provide

  124. for is all his worth? All right, y'all preaching this morning, Amen,

  125. So here he Apostle Paul, is not someone Amen with this kind of

  126. characteristic, but rather he shows them a good work and the Amen. The

  127. Bible said, and they amen, that he wrought with labor and travel night

  128. and day. Amen to day, that he would not be chargeable to anyone.

  129. Amen. If there is a work to do, and the Bible said

  130. he that nought to do good and do it, then not to him it

  131. is sin. Amen. So when you know what to do, you know

  132. how to do it. Amen. If you don't do it, it is

  133. sin. And here he described it as walking disorderly. Amen, Oh,

  134. disorderly with me those who were idle Amen, who were idle people, loving

  135. and unwilling the word you say, that's hard preaching rather than Daniel. Well,

  136. I'll be able to push out around me. Amen. That is what

  137. someone else described it out abe at the yarn. He could be with him.

  138. Amen. So if you're a loafing or unwilling person to work, Amen,

  139. Here you would have been described by Apostle paut a disorderly individual. Amen.

  140. A Truly, there is an order in the house of God, Ayben,

  141. there is an order in the Christian life. Maybe we know we should

  142. pray, we know he should read, we know we should work in the

  143. occupation that God has given us, and then with diligence and putting everything in

  144. it here. And that's if you're walking outside of those boundaries, you are

  145. a disorderly individual. And if you're a love for a praise God. All

  146. that seems like a heart preaching this morning, Amen, But it's okay,

  147. Amen, if you're willing to change. Because Apostle Paul here is preaching to

  148. some people, Amen, that he realizes that they need Amen to make improvement.

  149. Amen. And we all need to make improvement, all of us do,

  150. Amen, even whether it's in one area or another. Amen. And

  151. we know that he would tell them later on in this chapter. Amen,

  152. treat him not as an enemy, but admolished him as a brothers. Do

  153. here this morning. I'm not come to treat anyone like an enemy, Amen.

  154. But the burden of my heart wouldn't be to admolish us. Amen.

  155. That there is work to be done. Amen. Although Apostle Paul advocates the

  156. church Amen, to help those that need assistance, nowhere do we find him

  157. instructing the church to give money or food to the well abled. Amen.

  158. So there he is something we all can do. Amen. And we must

  159. use that which we've been given, Amen, properly. We must use that

  160. that we've been giving Amen. I because stewards. I mean, we know

  161. of the Bible that talked about the Lord that would turn into the far country,

  162. Amen, to receive a kingdom to himself. And then and he gave

  163. even the three servants, one would multify five, and the tailor, aymen,

  164. another would take the death of the Lord had given him, and then

  165. there would be a profit. And many there was one individual. The Bible

  166. said he wrapped it in the handkerchief and hid it. And the Bible said

  167. that the Lord was theory displeased when he come again, saying, you know,

  168. I wrote where I had not labored up. Man. He was basically

  169. saying, you go, man, I was gonna be expecting something in return.

  170. I entrusted this to you. And God entrust us with things, children,

  171. He entrusts us with health, He entrust something, and to be good

  172. members of the congregation. He entrusted us to be good witnesses in the world.

  173. We've got to uphold or into the parking lot. And God gives us

  174. something, we must be some wata ay Man. That's a good steward of

  175. the word Amen God, now here and men, we didn't read down this

  176. farm, but first number eleven said, for we hear that there are some

  177. which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but the busy bodies.

  178. And then so here that people Paul is talking to. Amen. They're

  179. able to walk around, they're able to talk and communicate. Amen. But

  180. they're just being busybodies. Amen, they're not really working. And you asked,

  181. Amen, preach your high how are you gonna tie this in together?

  182. Amen? What are you even preaching on? Amen? My side hope it

  183. was blue number one. Amen, we'll work for food. Amen. So

  184. there's there's people that that freeload and the load Amen, Preach God. Amen.

  185. Old brother Bary could say there's work to be done. There's work to

  186. be done, right Aman. If there is work to be done, as

  187. I've said, he that knows to do good and do it and not to

  188. him and his see, and then when I was a child, and then

  189. a steel and then we'll hear it. If you see if he's a candy

  190. rapper in the churchyard, you've been down and pick it up, hey,

  191. man, if you see it can lay it out by the volleyball pool when

  192. nobody's around. Aymen, you pick it up. There's some things we know

  193. that are good things to do. We know, ay, been there there

  194. what we should do, But then we failed to realize the importance of just

  195. how it can't affect us spiritually. You say that can't affect me, Yes,

  196. it can. It's the small foxes that full divide, the Bible said,

  197. and those small foxes will create even bad habits. And you're lito,

  198. Amen, Overlooking the sin will turn Amen to grossness of immorality if you don't,

  199. Amen, of hold the word of God. There was health delivered to

  200. the saint. Amen. Apostle Paul here is telling them. I've heard about

  201. those better loafing. I've heard about those bet are contributing. I've hearn it.

  202. I thought that aren't really committed. I feel the Lord here this morning.

  203. Maybe there is something to do. Maybe we can't up the church expecting

  204. the free ride, expecting the free mill. Have it. Not pray all

  205. we go, but come expecting God to bless sizes of Yes, God and

  206. bled enough in the stare. He has more than enough for all who are

  207. hungry, Oh, who are thirsty, get coming to him, and they

  208. shall be filled without money, without prisa. They remember, give God willing.

  209. They ain't sumitta God, and kill your party. Man. Now Here

  210. it means where I would like to try to tie these two together. They

  211. mean Second Samuel, chapter number five and verse twenty four said, and let

  212. it be when now here's the sound of a going in the tops of the

  213. moulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself for them, shall the Lord

  214. go out before they despite the host of the Philistines. Here in this chapter

  215. there are two battles found. Amen. And there are no doubt some of

  216. the beginning of the prosperity of King David. Amen. As God would begin

  217. to establish his reign over unified Israel. Amen. He calls up until this

  218. point, and throughout the Bible we've seen Israel Amen would divide. At one

  219. point David was king over the tribes of Judah, Amen, but not over

  220. all twelve tribes. And here Amen, the Bible talked about how Israel would

  221. come Amen, and they would make a league with David. Amen. And

  222. then after this league Amen, God, Amen, the two battles kind of

  223. came into fruition, Amen, And we saw God proof that Israel. Amen.

  224. That God was going to use David to lead them to victory in their

  225. battle. They now there are things though God tells us to do, and

  226. things we know to do. God tells David here, I'm going to take

  227. care of it. But when you hear me beginning to move, you better

  228. bestir thyself is what he said, direct quote, bestir thyself. And then

  229. there are people that will sit back and let opportunity pass them by. And

  230. then when God has promised them victory and simply because they don't want to put

  231. forth a little bit of effort, and then they want everything handed them on

  232. a silver platter. Every hear God has hand to David a beautiful victory.

  233. Amenbody's telling there's something you're gonna have to do. Yes, there's been a

  234. time of waiting where you sat in the bullberry trees listening. Amen. But

  235. now when you begin to hear amen, be on the move. You must

  236. bestir yourself a man. You must get after it. Praise God, Oh

  237. God. Sometimes they are bad habits in our lives, in ways that we

  238. conduct ourselves that hider us from getting victory. And until we take the appropriate

  239. action here, amen, we're not going to see the victory God a lock

  240. to give us. Amen. We're coming down to the wire of convention.

  241. Amen. And here Amen, I would like you to consider convention. Amen.

  242. As I preached this morning. Amen, We're coming down Amen to a

  243. time when Bethel does experience if you would have increased the workload. Amen.

  244. There's time when we're praying at the altar for hours. There's time when we're

  245. in the fellowship hall. Amen, it's time to take out the trash.

  246. There's times amen, when us walking through the church on and you simply see

  247. a piece of trash. Amen. And here we're gonna experience the workload that

  248. is increased. But it must Amen. It is gonna take her and one

  249. hundred percent Amen. Participation. Amen. We can't come and do convention expecting

  250. to be fed and leave all fat and sassy without giving forth a little bit

  251. of effort. And I know that the little differ got to preach this morning

  252. and then, but I have a burden, a sincere burden to tell you,

  253. Amen, when his time Amen, to do what God has us to

  254. do. We can't be disorderly. May be there He is a lord to

  255. the service. There is a norder to clean up, there is a horder

  256. to service the food. Amen. And here's the Church of God. They

  257. in the House of God. There'll be time to which visitors have come Hungria

  258. then come with burdens maybe and maybe that's you this morning. They would take

  259. preacher, I need something from the Lord. I need help. My friend,

  260. is you optunitia and been to take action? And I encourage those here.

  261. And then when they realize someone's praying, when someone's needn't gonna touch from

  262. God, they wouldn't sit there and look a bada, but they wouldn't realize

  263. I got don't learn from my bread. I've got to contribute somehow. I've

  264. got to commit myself to God, submitting my ways under heel. Then let

  265. it get work in my life. Amen. Oh God, Man, Well

  266. I can hit a bunch of these this morning. Man, when it's time

  267. to wash the dishes, help with the clean up, a man, And

  268. so you have the nerve to just sit there and Amen? What about Amen?

  269. If you say so and so caught me in a conversation. Amen,

  270. Well that's real simple him And what upon the Paul tell you he said the

  271. part Amen, just behind the breakaway. I'm sorry, brother, I've got

  272. to go take out the trash even y'll say, hey, Mayben, Then

  273. that seemed a little a little, a little far fett. It is untiling

  274. you. You feel like, oh, don't be rooted by lead the conversation

  275. and been my friend. If it's not a visitor point out their heart looking

  276. for God. Amen, it was just a shoot the priest conversation. Amen.

  277. Let me tell you your conversation takes second fit Awaymen to the work that

  278. is being required. Amen. The work that is in progress must always,

  279. Amen, take priority because there he is an order here. May if David

  280. had an opportunity to sit there, Amen, or he had an opportunity to

  281. stir himself fava, Amen, to realize I've got to do something. Amen,

  282. I've got to commit, I've got the worker, I've got to do

  283. my party. Then, oh God, a man, I hope brother,

  284. when you hear the sound of chairs being stacked and then you don't find amen

  285. a conversation to be had, Amen, Praise God, Oh God. Amen,

  286. y'all bear with us word of life. I don't want to offend nobody.

  287. Amen, but there is a big work coming Amen at night. I

  288. couldn't make this up, I promise you I couldn't And as angels, little

  289. people brain dressed this out of the word of God. Amen. I try

  290. to convince you. Amen, we've got to be willing to work. Amen.

  291. Apostle Paul here was very amen, very upset with some people. Amen.

  292. He says, Remember how I work, and we know how Pastor works.

  293. Amen. He works, not stop, always working, always doing something,

  294. always trying to see who needs help, where they need help, how

  295. they need help. Amen. An Apostle Paul puts them in remembrance and says,

  296. Amen, of how I rot with labor and traveled night and day.

  297. Amen, that we might not be chargeable to any of you. Amen,

  298. that there is a work to be done here. Amen. If there is

  299. a coming workload that must be shoulder, we must all individually shoulder. I

  300. wish possibility, Amen, brings God. We all have a share of the

  301. workload. You all have a spiritual and physical and monetary and been obligation to

  302. the work of God. And men, I know that probably unpopular preaching.

  303. Amen. God has promised us though and been certain victory. If we will

  304. be willing to put forth some AfOR and effort the Amen. The Bible said,

  305. muscle up the us and turneth out the corner. They been a david

  306. with someone who they been was a young man who could see the cause.

  307. Amen, a young man. There is a cause. And Amen, there

  308. is a call the young ladies and the ladies there will be and he is

  309. always a cause in the myth of the Word of God. They been he

  310. got glories or clamors. Aymen, the house, yesterday's tomato juice on your

  311. suit. And then because you had to take out the trash. Amen.

  312. But it is a necessant here if the work is gonna go on, you

  313. must be willing to submit up to the authority here. Amen. We must

  314. walk orderly and Amen, submission to God's word. And in another way it

  315. was described as circumspectfully. And then we must walk circumspectfully. Amen. We

  316. must bear one another's burdens. Oh God, we get fed better amen than

  317. any church I know. Amen. But we can't be a freeloader. And

  318. then we have to do our part. And then to be about the father's

  319. business. Amen. We come here, and as pastor preach what no biscuits

  320. when we come here, there's always always especially prepared Amen, word of God

  321. for us in that situation and moment. Amen, it's real easy just to

  322. come here a a man and slide under the wagons pastor and pulling it.

  323. Amen, A not contribute, amember. We must work for our food.

  324. Amen. We must not be a beggar and a lack of barn in God's

  325. kingdom a man. The Bible said, he never seen the righteous forsake it

  326. up, and he never seen the seed begging for prey. A man,

  327. my friend, if you're working, you'll never have to beg If you're putting

  328. in the effort, you'll never be found lacking. Amen. If you'll do

  329. what God said too with a joyful heart, you'll never come out sword or

  330. come outside the work of God. Amen. Apostle Paul here and telling may

  331. be there are your bad examples here, Ay, many, my friend,

  332. don't be a bad example, and that don't be somewhat God, And they

  333. will tell the children separate, get a little distance. You're getting a little

  334. too close to a bad work, I think. Email The Bible says we

  335. must work while it is yet day, and then for the night cometh when

  336. no one can work. And I know this is different this morning, Amen,

  337. but man, it is the burden of my soul. Amen. Praise

  338. God. And I'm coming to a close here. And then the Bible said
