We need that annoying. This morning, we thank you for your prayers.
-
I thank you that the pastor, sister how our home, the brothers and
-
sisters are back, and we do love and appreciate them. And I'm I'll
-
be honest with you. I don't covet the bullpit, but I do counting
-
and honor in the privilege to serve under him, the minister under him.
-
You'll you'll maybe understand that a little better as we get into the preaching,
-
and I don't know that I will. And just the strong presence of the
-
Lord this morning, this is what we need. This is what we need,
-
and this is what helps the church grow and prosper, to be fruitful.
-
And so we'll be reading from the Book of Acts, chapter number five.
-
I love and appreciate Bethel. We we do love y'all. Great teaching
-
this morning, Brother Wallace, these great brethren. I appreciate our preacher.
-
Whether we're workers together, we are workers together with him. And I don't
-
want to compete with none of my brothers. I don't want to have that
-
evil out of envy. I've seen what it can do to a church,
-
and I thank God for the Man of God this morning I thank God for
-
our pastor and our shepherd. If you'll be looking at verse number eleven kind
-
of on the heels of something that happened that even our pastor had mentioned two
-
people we're about to pollute the church, but God removed them, to see
-
that they were smitten of God. Peter didn't remove these people. The Holy
-
Ghost removed in a nisasa fire. But we're going to be looking at verse
-
number eleven. Who versus number fifteen. This morning, and fear came upon
-
all the church, and upon as many as heard these things, these things
-
that we've heard this morning, will be a great fear among us this morning,
-
not to allow those spirits to overtake us. Amen. And by the
-
hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people, and
-
they were all with one accord. Did you feel like unity is important this
-
morning? Amen? They were in one accord and Solomon's porch, and of
-
the rest Durst. No man joined himself to them, but the people magnified
-
them, and believers were the more added to the Lord. I believe the
-
church ought to grow. Amen. Believers were added to the Lord multitudes,
-
both men and women. Verse number fifteen, if you'll highlight that Texas weren't
-
in so much that they brought forth the sick under the streets and laid them
-
on the beds and couches. That at the least I want to I want
-
to focus on this just for a moment. The shadow of Peter passing by
-
might overshadow some of them. You may be seated in the presence of the
-
Lord. I'm going to read a co text this morning. I felt like
-
the Lord also laid this on our heart. To go with this message,
-
I feel like Pastor really confirmed all that the Lord laid on my heart this
-
morning. And Pastor even mentioned this. But Peterson in chapter five his first
-
epistle, the elders, which are among you? I exhort who I'm also
-
an elder. You know pastors are elder. Here he's the chief elder of
-
this church. Amen. And Peter's talking to these other elders. He said,
-
I'm a witness of the sufferings of Christ, also a partaker of the
-
glory that shall be revealed. He told them to feed the flock of God
-
which is among you, taking the oversight thereof not by constraint, but willingly,
-
not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind. Neither's being Lord's
-
pastor mentioned this this morning over God's heritage, but being in samples examples to
-
the flock. What an example we have in our pastor this morning. And
-
when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that
-
fateth not away shaken, pastor of shake shaken under the presence. So when
-
the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown as glory that fateth
-
not awake. Verse five. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourself unto the
-
elder. It's required a submission. Are we gonna submission? Submit ourselves of
-
what pastors said this morning? Are we gonna rebel against him? We're gonna
-
to repel against the pastors, really to rebel against the Lord. Likewise,
-
you younger, submit yourself to the elder. Yea. And all of you
-
be subject one to another bl oath with humility, for God resisted the proud,
-
and give a grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty
-
Head of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all
-
your care upon him, for He cared for you. Be sober, be
-
vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walketh about as a roaring line,
-
seeking whom he may devour. The devils after all of us. This
-
morning, the Bible said, whom you resist, steadfast in the faith,
-
knowing the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.
-
But the God of all grace, who hath called us under his eternal glory.
-
God's calling us under his eternal glory by his son Jesus Christ, after
-
you've suffered a while, make you perfect strength and establish you. Said on
-
you. That's what pastors trying to do this morning. That's what God's trying
-
to do through our pastor. And if I could preach just for a few
-
moments this morning, I want to preach on thinking about the shadow of Peter
-
and submitting ourselves to the Elder. I want to preach the shadow of the
-
Shepherd, under the Shadow of the Shepherd, and I'll probably forego the the
-
introduction. We were very familiar about the Book of Acts. It begins with
-
Christ's departure and the descension of the Holy Ghost. How he empowered the church,
-
how people took the Great Commission seriously and under the power, and under
-
the annawning of the Holy Ghost, they began to evangelize the world. And
-
because of that we're here this morning, Amen. And the church is still
-
going and still moving, Praise God. And we're still seeing folks added to
-
the church daily such as should be saved. And let me say this morning,
-
we can't do this without the Holy Ghost. This morning, I wouldn't
-
attempt to preach without the Holy Ghost, s Amen. And are many things
-
I wouldn't attempt to do in this life if I didn't have that guiding hand
-
Praise God directing my life. And so we need his help this morning.
-
But I want to focus this morning kind of kind of looking at them.
-
The day we kind of we kind of appreciate our pastor and we took up
-
an offering. And the Man of God this morning, he's not creedy,
-
he's not selfish. This morning, he wants to see folks helped. Amen.
-
He's not seeking glory or praise or limelight. But if I could honor
-
the Man of God just for a few moments this morning and and really let
-
us sense the gravity of what has been said already, I really had nothing
-
to add to what he has said. But this will confirm what God laid
-
on my heart today. Amen. Amen. And I appreciate your prayers.
-
And when you look at this chapter, we see that the church crows despite
-
of the opposition. Amen. And we look at a man who is in
-
this part of our text. Amen. We talk about Peter and Peter being
-
the rock. Amen. I believe somebody preached on that not long ago,
-
may have been our pastor. But he pointed out Peter. He said,
-
you're seeing, oh man, I know, I know what he preached on.
-
Prayers. God. He talked about those tongue talkers. Amen. And
-
and God gave people names. Amen. Jesus gave me Amen. And then
-
Pastor preached from from the Book of Acts. And it wasn't long ago that
-
he had us reading the Book of Acts incessantly, perpetually during that time of
-
great revival. Amen. God, God is leading this man, and this
-
man is leading this people. See that. And that's that's really the gist
-
of what I'm what I'm preaching to us this morning. Nothing nothing new,
-
Amen. But Jesus called Peter a rock. Amen. And and I thought
-
about this verse in Isaiah thirty to a man shall be as a hiding place
-
from the wind that the covert from the tempest as rivers of water to try
-
place in the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. So I'm
-
supposed that they've spoke of a king that would come and read and righteousness.
-
That they supposed that maybe it'll be prophetic of an earthly king like has a
-
kid, but really points to the Messiah, that Jesus Christ, who is
-
amen our rock phrase call, and here's our stand King Jesus. My brother
-
called early said, it's a rock in a weary land, and praise God.
-
But there have been men in my life. He mean that had been
-
a stay for me. He mean had been a shelter for me. He
-
been. And I thanked God for the shadow of the Man of God this
-
morning, and a shadow of that man that praises to me and helps me,
-
and God's me as God leads him, and we're to follow him as
-
he follows Christ. I thank God for the shadow of the shepherd a man.
-
Amen, he's a man that leads by a sample. Praise God,
-
Hellelujah. He been. Paul told young Timothy. He said, let not
-
let no man despise your youth. Hemen, I don't really look at him
-
as a young man. I look at him as a learned man and as
-
a wise man who has seen things. I looked at him as someone who
-
could impart wisdom. Even if I stood up here and hemen, maybe I
-
was twice my age. I just turned forty to a couple of days ago.
-
But even if I was eighty four, I would consider him a wise
-
man and an elder over me. Amen. Yeah, he said, be
-
an example to the believers in word and conversation and charity and spirit and faith
-
and purity. Again, our pastor leads by example, and we're to follow
-
him as he follows Christ. We are to receive that instruction. And when
-
I think about a shadow, not thinking about it when it when it speak
-
of being in the shadow of someone they think of, you know you're missing
-
out, or or you know they excel you always being under their shadow.
-
I'm speaking in the positive, Amen, because I want you to Amen.
-
Pastor would say something like this, look at your neighbor and say, hey,
-
neighbor, Amen, the shadow and the shepherd. There is safety,
-
Amen, there is shelter, there is shade. Amen. I don't posire
-
his position this morning. Amen, Come on now, because I know he
-
has a target on his life. He has a calling on his life,
-
and they calling is not from me. This morning. He has been called,
-
he has been appointed, He has been a norning to lead this people
-
and men now got that. I'm not envious of that man, and I
-
am willing to stand in the shadow for the Holy Ghost this morning. Hey,
-
man and your preachers, Though we don't desire the live loved the Lord,
-
I'm content, Amen, being the Bible stead pastor. Amen. It
-
is it is an honor. It really is, Amen that you would share
-
this death so much fire. We have received so much of the meat of
-
the Word of God, even none of us this morning, and there are
-
some meet but Amen, I thought about hey, being a spiritual meeting or
-
this morning praise God. Hey, but we gotta be the Hey. We
-
gotta amen, We reward and we don't bite and devour one another. Amen.
-
I'm not trying to bite and devour anybody anymore. Helujah. Amen.
-
It is often seen in a negative concept when you look up that definition,
-
that term, or you know an idiom, Amen anything, think about it
-
and being in the negat You're always gonna be in the shadow. Even but
-
I look at somebody we can follow in his steps. And I look at
-
somebody that's leading back sample. Praise God. And so I want to speak
-
and preach in the positive. Amen. In the shadow of the shepherd,
-
there is safety, there is protection, Praise God. Amen. Is that
-
all right? Amen? And I thank God for the pastor and all this
-
is coming from my heart. Amen. We kind of a displaced last night.
-
And I thank God for my mother in law who put us up or
-
put up with us, I don't know, Amen, but she opened her
-
doors because I don't have any ac Amen, don't come on now. So
-
Amen, I kind a battle to get here, Amen, to study and
-
to seek out with com having to preach. Amen. And I thank God
-
for a good mother law. Amen. Praise God. Hallelu I. Thank
-
God for a good pastor this morning. But God has sent this man to
-
lead this people. Amen. Our pastor faithfully preaches, faithfully cares, and
-
he is faithful even in times of affliction and persecution. Amen. He is
-
a faithful watchman who wards us hamen, admonishes us, and he does what
-
has past to protect us from the assaupt and the sales of the enemy.
-
Amen. Amen, I read this quote from a woman who was sought refuge
-
in the time of war, and hey, don't you know we're engaged in
-
a spiritual warfare. And then worry the battle praised God. You understand there's
-
a battle even going on at the battal hole his church. Amen, we
-
are soldiers an, We're to be together in this fight. Amen. We
-
don't fight against each other. Amen, we fight with each other. Amen.
-
And we fight behind our leader, the Man of God. Amen.
-
I mean Amen, I read this quote and she said this during the time
-
of war. She said, I thought Israel would not balls here in the
-
church. They really We're not safe anywhere, Amen, But there is safety.
-
This is a sanctual weary Amen, and their safety in the shadow of
-
the Shepherd, the Man of God and the shadow of the Almighty in your
-
same man Heluiah. Well, she said, I didn't think Israel and pamis
-
here Hamen in a church. So we're taking refuge in the shadow of the
-
pastor my God, have helujah. Amen. Pakistani woman could say that,
-
Amen could have confidence in the church, heymn could have confidence and the Man
-
of God. Ay, we're taking refuge in the shadow of the pastor of
-
me. Amen. Amen, She's so safety in the shadow of the shepherd.
-
Praise God. Amen. This is the man that God has sent to
-
feed the people. Amen. Aren't we well fed? Pether? Don't be
-
remembered a mean because I'm I'm glad they recorded that this morning. I said,
-
I hope to God he has been for him. Amen. Me and
-
Pastor didn't talk, and inten was gonna preach. I had several the messages
-
on my heart. Amen. But God has setting him to feed these people.
-
God has setting him to lead this people. And he does his dead
-
and level best to protect us and to shield us from these spirits he's talking
-
about this morning. Amen. Amen, it's a spirit. It's a spirit.
-
Amen, this kind of life come forth right, But my prayer and
-
fasting it's a deathl Amen. Amen. And he does his best to shield
-
us from these spirits and from the workers of darkness and the work of the
-
enemy. And because he does that, he becomes the primary target. Amen.
-
Amen. One of those arrows representing them, we still have them,
-
some of the church and them home. Are we praying for our pastor?
-
Are we praying for his protection because he's doing his best to protect us.
-
Amen. Listen, we must hear and we must heed. We must o't
-
pay him. And the Holy Ghost said, and it's right here, we
-
must acknowledge him. Amen, I feel the Holy Ghost. That's when the
-
Holy Ghost told us, if we acknowledge him, we'll prosper, we'll grow,
-
we'll be blessed. Amen. Be what God's blessed our life. Amen.
-
That's what he said. He is the spiritual arty in our life.
-
It is for our benefit, I said, it's for our benefit. It
-
is for our good a bed Amen. Amen, praise God. And the
-
Bible said, remember them which have the rule over you, aspousing under you
-
the word of God him And he's not the words of men. Amen.
-
He talked about it, Hamen. He didn't come with deliquentsly a speech.
-
Amen. And and and the knowledge of man. He comes, and the
-
demonstration and the power of the Holy coast. He speaks the word of God
-
to us. Everything that he said, he passing by the word of God.
-
Amen. Who was spoken under you the word of God whose faith followed,
-
I'm talking about the shadow of the Shepherd considered the end of their conversation.
-
Apostle Paula going in that same chapter Hebrews thirteen. Later on and first
-
number seventeen. Don't pay them which have the rule over you, submit yourself
-
for they watch for your So I said it for her benefit. It is
-
far good that he must give an account that they may do with choy.
-
Amen. Amen. It does not give the pastor joy. Amen to see
-
one of the sheep being let us tray, Amen to see one of them.
-
Amen, I to target another sheep. But come on it now,
-
he does not give him joy to lose one soul that he may do him
-
with joy and not grief. That's unprofitable for you. Everything he's said this
-
morning will profit us if we'll listening. It asked me to say this.
-
I'm telling you it's far good. It's far good. This is the man
-
that God caught. Amen. He called it. He's out. He appointed
-
him, and he's anointed him. Thank God. Come on now, amen,
-
I hear sister. Weren't ten all time? Hey? With nothing annoying
-
him? And it's nothing. It's just falling on death ears. Hey,
-
I'll tell you what. It was highly annoyed this morning. What he said,
-
just teaching and talking to us. It was highly annointed. And I
-
prayed and it didn't fall on death ear, death ears. This morn.
-
Amen. Amen, I mean and when he said that about Jesus, Man,
-
I felt, oh God, I'm God. Amen. I felt that
-
we've been spirited. Hey, we can't forget that language. Amen, that
-
he preached about it. Amen. Those tears, Amen, shedding those tears.
-
Amen. I'll tell you what happened to me yesterday when I was on
-
the lawn more. Amen, I was over there, Hamen, Pastor,
-
I just don't want to say that I love you. I want to show
-
you that I love you and that I appreciate you. Amen. Have my
-
showing the Man of God you love him, Amena. And I was over
-
there and I hadn't seen him. And several days, you know, we
-
can a half almost two weeks I've been since I've seen your Pastor. And
-
Amen, he comes rolling up the driveway and over they will stick his head.
-
He rolled down his window a way. That man smiled. But you
-
know what, Amen, that blessed my soul brother Nathaniel. Amen. I
-
had that came around my face, Amen, trying to protect it from the
-
Amen. The sunlight. Amen, I'll come home now. I'm talking about
-
the shadow Amen of the Shepherd praise card and the blessed my soul. I
-
said, past I'm trying to tell you that I loved you, Amen,
-
But my face was covered. Amen. But I shouldn't. An he ought
-
to know that you love him, Amen, Jesus on to know that you
-
love him. Not an old word only brother Na, thank you preaching,
-
but indeed, praise cold. However, the Holy He's been called to preach
-
to us and to preserve this old time holiness what he said this morning,
-
and it's old time holders, Praise God. I believe every church and the
-
holders movie was should here teaching like that and preaching like that now to be
-
led by men like that. Amen. And I might be partial, Amen,
-
but I feel like we got the best men for them for this time.
-
Praise God. Amen. For this people, God gave us Pastor's according
-
to our heart. God gifted these men. God gifted does be home from
-
the perfecting of the same I would aid to come the perfect man at the
-
perfect time, perfect play preach you, I say, Manliah, how they
-
Louiah? How can they call him if they not believe? Amen? How
-
they believe on him whom they not heard? How shall they hear without a
-
preacher? Amen? And how shall they preach except they be sick at praise
-
call. And I'm gonna tell you what. God sent him here, amidd
-
sent him here, and God sent us here, and then I've been protected.
-
I shout out, I sat fire. I got to thank you God
-
for that man we took us on when we ran our littlest team. Then
-
oh many, and I remember passing that first Sunday, Amen, that first
-
Wednesday. We came down on the Tuesday. And I know I'm marching like
-
I had it all together, but the reality is we didn't have it all
-
together. Amen. But I thank God he took us in, Sister Wooden,
-
I thank God he worked with us. Praise call. I think God
-
God sent us here and we are paying praise God that he worked with us.
-
Amen. We wouldn't be in the same one I'm talking about. Didn't
-
say praise I'm out of shape, and you're gonna know here just a minute,
-
praise God. Amen. I'm gonna work on that too. Because he
-
leads by example and because I'm listening when he talks to me. Hey,
-
y'all with me this morning. It's all right. I'm trying to try not
-
to be along with it. Amen. How should they preach it? Something
-
to be said. It's written, and brothers, brother djails in that one
-
of those serious the scriptures that you talked about this morning, How beautiful the
-
feet of them, and preach the gospel of peace and bring good tides,
-
glad tidies are good things. But they've not all obeyed the gospel. And
-
that's sad. That's sad. Amen, they've not obeyed. They've not all
-
obeyed the gospel. Where As they said, Lord who believed, arre more
-
faith coming by hearing and hearing by the word of God. This morning,
-
I said this, our pastor is called to preach the word of the Lord
-
in this specific place, for this specific people, for this specific period of
-
time, and between the place and the people for a period. Amen.
-
That's the life of the pastor, the life of that shepherd, the life
-
of that man of call, not just his sermons. Amen. His life
-
preaches louder than his sermons. Say you say, man, I said,
-
his life preaches louder than his sermons, because he lives what he preaches.
-
Amen. Oh, what a life. What an example. And I'm talking
-
about the shadow. He leaves an impression. It makes an impact on all
-
of us. Can we say, amen, this morning It's made an impact
-
on our children, and it'll make an impact on upcoming generations. Amen.
-
Come on his life, his legacy, his sermons. They will be preserved.
-
Amen. They will be remembered. Amen. Through the ages, Praise
-
God. They will remember the life of that man, and they remember how
-
they sat under the shadow of the Shepherd. Amen. Amen, the days
-
of the Apostles. We read here this morning our text. These people brought
-
their lovings. Are we telling our loveds about the great things God's doing in
-
our life and in our church? Come on now, Amen. We shouldn't
-
be aired out the dirty long trip. Hey Come on amen. Amen,
-
we should be telling about the great things God to doing. Amen, about
-
the mighty revival. Amen, about the mighty goods of God. Amen.
-
We ought to tell our lives about. They heard about what was going on
-
in that church. Amen. They came out of there parover. Hey man.
-
They hurt good things, and they brought our loved ones up. They
-
brought the said, they brought the afflicted out. Hey man. They probably
-
use they needed help, hey man. And they just wanted to get near
-
the shadow of that preacher. Hey because they thought it would breaking healing in
-
their life. They thought I would bring improvement and change and transformation. Have
-
we not been improved and changed and transformed under the work of a skillful I
-
said, a skillful man. I've caught a shepherd and knows his sheep.
-
Hey, man, I knows it's what's best for all of us. Have
-
we not improved? Amen? There should be no declined after the relation,
-
and there shouldn't be no departure of any of the sheep that are here this
-
morning. You hear me, They won't be on his part. I just
-
got you back. That's why I got you, and I'm not holding the
-
day. You listen to me. Come on, Oh, come on now,
-
I got him back and I'm not holding the day. Listen. They
-
brought them people, He annoyed it in the power that holy ghost on that
-
man of God, on Peter, on, that one preacher. It was
-
so powerful that they believed even his shadow wasn't enough to bring healing and a
-
difference in their life. Amen, And I pastor not lifting you a bother,
-
Amen the Lord. But I have to understand one thing that the Lord
-
put him here, and he put him in our life for a reason and
-
for a purpose. An Amen. Amen, you'll understand what I'm doing.
-
He did hallelujah, Amen, And I'm not doing it for branded points or
-
any of that. If I preach party pastors on me, Hey, Amen,
-
live sought the Lord. Amen. But I believe amen, and not
-
only improved their physical situation, but improved them spiritually for the better. Praise
-
God. Amen. Have you not been in part since he came under his
-
leadership? Come on now, amen, I see hands going up all over
-
the house. I can say it's true for the rod Cap family. Amen.
-
Our lives have improved, Amen, since we come or his a leadership
-
and his athorty. Praise cod since we sat unto the shadow. Amen,
-
I'm the shepherd. Hallelujah. Amen. And when he and he put leave
-
with lead and those words and he preached, Amen, Peter became a great
-
rock. Praise God. Amen. He said, when you're conferred, and
-
strengthen your brother. Amen. We trust strength, hey man, from a
-
man of cold through the word of color that he preaches. It strengthens us
-
and it helps us. It changes us. This exportation of teaching this morning
-
should change us. Ay here, if we're pouding those spirits and ought to
-
change us, Amen, And I'll tell you what. Amen. We're still
-
gonna have an altar this morning, Amen. But couse, without an altar,
-
the church will falter. Amen. And you can't be altered, I
-
said, you can't be altered when you fall on the altar. But you've
-
got to receive what was said this morning. You gotta submit to that.
-
Ever, you gotta submit to that. Pastor. I'm on now, and
-
I don't have to say anything that's already been said. I felt like Pastor
-
there really just what he gave me was his confirmation. Really he had the
-
words for us this morning. Who I hope that I'm helping you or what
-
he said this morning i'd have change us. It ought to challenge us.
-
It might have chasen somebost wrong now, Amen, but we ought to be
-
man enough Amen. Amen to line up. Praise God, Amen, Amen,
-
because I believe he taught us under the authority, Amen, of God's
-
word, under the authority of the Holy Ghost and of the Chief Shepherd.
-
Praise God. He's under the Chief Shepherd. We're all under him. Amen,
-
We're all on him. And I thought about that shadow brother stare you
-
know he's walking Amen, And the light of the sun of Righteous who man,
-
it's casting a shadow on our life. Amen. If I want to
-
be in the shadow of somebody, Amen, I want to be somebody Hamen.
-
It's leading by example. Amen. It's gonna leave me in the pass
-
of righteousness. Amen. Somebody's preserving old time horness. Somebody's gonna tell it
-
the way to go. Chraise cod. Now, somebody's gonna sugar coat it.
-
Amen. But when he hears from God, Amen, he'll deliver what
-
the saith, the word of the Lord. Amen. And that's what a
-
true shepherd will do. Amen. Amen, Jesus said. And then badly,
-

-
name this morning. Oh hello, lujah, Hey, he talked about the
-

-
Jesus said. Amen. I said to you, I am the door the
-
seat all that ever came before me, or peace and Roberts. But the
-
seat did not hear them. Who I am the door by me? If
-
any man enter in, he shall be saved and go hit it out and
-
find perhaps thanked up for the shadow of the shepherd, the man of God.
-
But I'm thanked up for the shadow of the savior. Amen, the
-
great shepherd and the Bishop of our soul was born. Hallelujah. Hey,
-
he said, out of the door, if any man and there, and
-
he shall be saved, go in and down and find a patch of the
-
thief coming up, But for still and to kill and destroy. I'll come
-

-
praise the Lord. Or so let us said, I am the good shepherd,
-
whoa the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep has got. This
-
man of God laid down his life for us, and one laid down his

-
man of God this morning. Amen. He said, I'm a good shepherd,
-
the good shepherd given his life for the sheep. He'll lay aside everything
-
to do God's willing to preach us God's word. Amen. But he that's
-
a higling and not a shepherd. Whose own sheeper not seeing the wolf colored
-
and leave it the sheep and fleet that the wolf catching them and scattered the
-
sheep. I'm trying to hurry him, amen, the harling fleet. Because
-
he's a harling. He cared not for the sheep. Jesus that I'm a
-
good shepherd and know my sheep, and have known the mind as a father
-
known me. Even so I know the Father, and I laid down my
-
life from the sheep. Praise God, Thank God for the good shepherd.
-
Amen, How excellent is I love it? Kindness, Oh God, that
-
for the gentleman men put their trust under the shadow of Thy wings. Praise
-
God. Amen. His presence provides protection. The Lord is our keeper.
-
The Lord is thy shaved upon thy right handing. Yeah. Amen. His
-
presence provides protection, safety, the shelter, Amen, the safety. Amen.
-
He's the Dwelt in the secret place of the mold. Time shall shall
-
abide under the shadow Hoo the Almighty. Amen. Amen. We gotta be
-
under God's authority and godance every day we live. Amen, as that men's
-
under God's athorny and Godance. Amen, we are under His authority and guidance,
-
and more so than God. Praise God. Amenber I'm talking about the
-
shadow or the shepherd. Amen. I'm talking about Amen, the shadow of
-
the under shepherd and the shadow of the great Shepherd this morning. Amen,
-
don't appreciate the man of God. How Maylujah. Amen. He the dwelled
-
in the secret place for the most time. Non funny. Praise God shall
-
abide unto the shadow who the almighty, I will say, the Lord,
-
he is my refuge and my fortress. Amen. The name of the Lord
-
is a strong tower. Praise God. Amen. The righteous running into it
-
and are saved. He's our refuge, my fortress, my God and him
-
I'll trust. Hey, I'm not ashamed. Amen. I've never been a
-
shame that I've trusted his name this morning. And I'm not ashamed of my
-
pastor. And you know, with something else, if you don't get anything
-
else, I don't want to bring shame to my pastor and to my church
-
family. Amen. That is all right, Pastor. I don't want to
-
bring shame to Christ. Amen. Amen. Surely, he said, deliver
-
thee from the snare of the Father. Hey, he's warning us this morning.
-
Heim, and the devil's laying snares, the devil's laying traps. Come
-
on now, Amen, we're fighting spirits. Praise God. Amen. And
-
he'll deliver us, so I said, He'll deliver us, So Hamen from
-
the snow, the Father from the nausean. Past lets, he'll cover thee
-
with his feathers under his wings. Shut down. Trust his truth to be
-
a sealed and a bocord. Praise God that he preaches us the truth.
-
Amen, does he not? He preaches the truth because it's the truth that
-
sets men free this morning, it's the truth deliberates people. Amen. Amen,
-
I'm finishing up and reading songs ninety one. Thou shall not be afraid
-
of the terror by night, nor the air of the flight by day,
-
nor the pestlance that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction of wasting a
-
new day. A thousands have fall the side, ten thousands at the right
-
hand, but it shall not come to I v Amen Hamen. Only with
-
that eye shall that behold and see the reward of the wicked. Hey,
-
there's a war reward for the wicked. Amen. There's a reward for the
-
evildoer, Amen, just as well as a reward for the righteous and for
-
the sakes of God. Amen. There's a reward for the sinner and those
-
that will not obey the voice of God who won't listen to the Man of
-
God. Amen. Amen. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is
-
thy refuge, even the most high thy habitation, whoa He's my silting,
-
he's my fortress, he's my sealed em high bid under the shadow of his
-
wings. Amen. The Bible said, no evil befall thee, shaver fall
-
thee, neither playe come nigh God dwelling, for he shall give his angels
-
charge over thee to keep them all thy way. He said, a man,
-
then bear thee up in their heads. That's not foosh and foot dash
-
against the stone. That's a tread upon the line. And the at the
-
line of the young line of the tracking. That's a trample under your feet.
-
We ought have the devil under her feet this morning, Amen, how
-
they lujah, Amen, we will have the devil under our feet, and
-
for a battle the shadow of the Almighty, and trusted him and listened to
-
the Man of God. That spirit of envy, we should have already trampled
-
it by now. Come on now, those I the spirits, that competitive
-
spirit, We should have already had it under our feet this morning, andy
-
man, we should have already taken heed to the wide the Lord. We
-
should have already listened to the Man of God. Amen, And they luya.
-
Because he said his love upon me, who therefore will I deliver him?
-
I'll set him on high because he had known my name. Who I
-
didn't know? Her brother Wallace was gonna talk about this morning. Don we
-
know his name this morning? Do we know the name of the groot Shepherd?
-
Do we know the good name of the great Shepherd and Bishop of our
-
soul? This morning? Hemen? There are two men, amen, in
-
my life that mean the world to me. And I won't see this disrespectfully.
-
Amen. But their names start with a jay. Praise God. Amen.
-
I said their names start with a jay. And it ain't justin Amen,
-
Amen. He on mean nothing to me. Amen, because I surmember
-
him to Christ. Hold, I'm gonna go, Amen, But I surrender
-
my life to that man, Jeremy how and that Jesus Christ, my Lord.
-
I don't want to see that disrespect. I hardly ever ever call him
-
by his first name. He's pastor period, he's my shepherd. He's being
-
lived of the shadow of the old line, and he's helping us church.
-
He said that man because he said his love a tol me, I'll delivery
-
my sit him on high because he know my name. He shall call upon
-
me and I'll answer him, and I won't be with him. Won't you
-
want the Lord to be with in your life. Amen. Is not the
-
Lord with Bethel this morning? And we believe the Lord is with pastor how
-
he may No, we believe God sent him here. Amen. Then God
-
sent us here. Amen to be led by him. Amen to God set
-
us here, Amen, to be under the sta the shepherding. I'll delivered
-
from trouble. I deliver him, I honor him with long life, I
-
satisfy him. I show him my salvation. And the same chapter of a
-
real life from Hebrews thirteen. Now, the God of Peace that brought again
-
from the dead, our Lord Jesus, He's alive this morning. All those
-
other prophets ham and those dead gods as they served ham and Jesus and alive
-
this morning, we serve a living God. Hamen, he said, the
-
God of Peace that brought again from the dead, our Lord Jesus, that
-
great shepherd of the sheep through the blight of the mabras, said, Covenant,
-
make you perfect and every good. What is he doing this morning?
-
Why did God send him here? Why did God give us pastors? Why
-
did God give us teachers and battans apostle for the perfecting of the same.
-
Amen, I believe this is Paul now the God a peace of brother again
-
Jesus brought from the dead on Lord Jesus, the great sheep of the sheet
-
of the Blood and never lasting covenant. Make you perfect in every good work,
-
to do His will working in you, but as well pleasing in his
-
sight. Amen, through Jesus Christ, to whom he's the one that receives
-
the glory. I get. I honor the man of God. But he's
-
the first one to say all the glory. Amen, every message, every
-
every every every reply, every testimony of how God's touched us. Amen,
-
he takes it upward. Amen, it's deflected upward. He does not glory.
-
Amen. We know that. Amen. He doesn't take glory for any
-
of it. He's just being obedient to God. Amen to glory. Amen
-
to pea that Jesus, to whom be glory forever and never. Amen.
-
And I'm gonna save the sea. Closing this morning because I know I preached
-
too long, and I really didn't feel like I had to preach this morning,
-
but I hope it benefit us. Jesus said in Luke twelve and thirty
-
two. Fear not, little flock, it is of your father's good pleasure
-
to give unto you the key. O. I love that, hey man.
-
And as it look the Lord laid on my heart. It is God's
-
good pleasure to give us the key, and Pastor, it's his pleasure to
-
make sure we get. He's doing his best to make sure we get.
-
God wants to give it to us, but we gotta get, hey,
-
amen, And I think about we gotta leave you with this morning. All
-
right, hey man, I'm preaching on the shadow of the ship, and
-
I hope this morning and closing that there's no one here, Amen, it's
-
tempted to go astray. Brothers say you preach with a burden. Brother,
-
Amen, I hope and pray there's no one tempted to go astraight like alway,
-
like sheet. You need to stay under the shadow of the church.
-
Listen to me. That woman I quoted, she found shelter in safety in
-
the church. I don't know her profession. She saw something in the shadow
-
of that church, in the shadow of that pastor, and she felt like
-
she was safe. And you need to stay under the shadow of the church,
-
the pastor, and most of all, into the shadow of the Almighty.
-
This morning. You know what it's a dangerous world out there. I
-
said, it's a dangerous world out there. Amen. There are wolves,
-
but thank God there's a watchman watching out for the wolves. Amen. There's
-
a wicked temple out there. It's not safe out there in the world.
-
Amen, you're just open pray for the enemy. Amen. But I'm telling
-
you what, Amen, if God cuts any one of us off of Amen,
-
it won't be him. You hurt him this morning. God would have
-
to pry his fingers off of your soul. Amen. It would be God
-
that would cut us off. Amen. But I would pray they're not a
-
spirit of anyone in here. Amen is even thinking about going away? Amen.
-
Amen, Amen, I believe we, like Pastor said, we probably
-
should have done it by now. We probably should have hit the dollars.
-
Amen. It's not safe out there, Amen, but there is safety under
-
the shadow of the Shepherd, under the shadow of the Almighty. And I
-
feel like this morning, we need to Amen, gather around the others.
-
It's all right, Pastor. Amen. I feel like, Man, if
-
you've been touched, I what Pastor said this morning, Amen, and I
-
just really just hamen come in just at the heel of it. But we
-
need to pray for one another. Amen. We need to search our hearts
-
and search our life, and we need to pray for our pastor this morning.
-
We need to pray one for one for another. Amen and Amen.
-
We need to search our life Amen, and make sure Amen. There's nothing
-
in there Amen that would displease God. Amen. Amen, Oh how Amen?
-
Amen. The shadow Peter didn't have any special power, but he had
-
a He had an annoyting on his life. Pastors praying for side, he
-
prays for us. He's walking in the light of the shepherds cast a shadow.
-
There's an naughting on his life. M m hmm. It takes a
-
special person to feel that decision of Lord of a pastor, of a shipherd
