  1. Creation, his compassion for his creation. Will you turn with me to the

  2. book of Psalm Bad direct her attention to the one hundred and third Psalm verses

  3. number thirteen and fourteen. Will be our golden text this morning, Brother Nathaniel,

  4. the Book of Saint Luke, chapter number seven, verses number twelve through

  5. fifteen. Brother Jesse one John, chapter number three and verse number seventeen.

  6. Brother Nathaniel wants you to have that when you read this part of the Bible

  7. right here, this scripture Verse Luke seven, twelve through fifteen. Now,

  8. when he came now to the gate of the city, behold there was a

  9. dead man herried out, the only son of his mother. And she was

  10. a widow, and much people of the city was with her. When the

  11. Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said, and to her

  12. weep not. And he came and touched the bayer, and they that bare

  13. him stood still, and he said, young man, I say unto thee

  14. arise, And he that was dead sat up and began to speak, and

  15. he delivered him to his mother. Praise the Lord. Brother Jesse first John,

  16. chapter number three and verse number seventeen. Sue, whoso hath this world

  17. good, and see if his brothers have need. Shuteth up his bowels of

  18. compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? All right,

  19. let's stand for the reading of our golden text Psalm one O three verses

  20. number thirteen and fourteen. The Bible says, like, as a father pitieth

  21. his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth

  22. our frame. He remembers that we are dust. He knows us better than

  23. we know ourselves. The Lord has compassion on us when we suffer. He

  24. knows us better than we know ourselves, for we are His creation. Let's

  25. pray, Heavenly Father, we love and we praise you. We thank you

  26. for the opportunity to be in the house and the Lord with this thy people.

  27. God, I thank you for the gathering in this local assembly of believers,

  28. of people of light, precious faith, people that believe your word is

  29. true, people that hold you got your word when you promised to meet them

  30. here, whether by two or three, or twenty or thirty or two hundred

  31. or three hundred. We thank you Lord for this thy word, the blessed

  32. Book of Truth. We pray that you would have known this thy serve and

  33. sent a guard at my mouth and help me to say the things that you

  34. would have me to say, nothing more and less, and knowing the ears

  35. of this thy people, that they might hear what the Spirit of God saith

  36. or to the church through this preach word, through this blessed book, not

  37. my words, God preach through me when it goest. I pray that these

  38. sayings will go below the shoulders that I'm getting that heart. I pray let

  39. them saturate the mind and change the man, that they might not be hears

  40. only but he this blessed book we pray, and the words there in.

  41. I pray God that you help us. May we depart this place and joyfully

  42. and not sorrowfully in Jesus' name. Hey, man, look at your neighbor

  43. and say, hey, neighbor, did God create you? Now replied to

  44. them and say, he sure did? Ain't I pretty? Oh? Yes,

  45. I'll let y'all settle that argument after the church service this morning. It

  46. is good to see each and every one of you in the House of the

  47. Lord. Do you believe we're in the House of the Lord. It is

  48. my pleasure this morning to preach to you a text that the Holy goes gave

  49. me. He bestirred my spirit, and our text is found in an Old

  50. Testament book of the Holy Bible. Once again, as in recent weeks,

  51. we are in the book of Psalms, that He's song book. An Israeli

  52. person would be very familiar with the writings of this precious book of the Bible,

  53. the Bible, God's Word, the Holy Bible was written by holy men

  54. that were moved on by the Holy Ghost, and we appreciate the writings of

  55. the sacred writ We treasure these sixty six love letters that the Lord gave to

  56. us to hold in our possession. If you were to look at that gold

  57. laced pages, look at those gold laced pages, you'll notice that probably some

  58. of that gold dust, just figuratively speaking, has been removed from the edges

  59. of the pages that should contain the book of Psalm. A lot of times,

  60. us as believers, like to Israeli's who also believed in the Lord God,

  61. we resort to these beautiful Psalms in this book of poetry in our times

  62. of need and christ as it just seems like the writings of this book of

  63. the Bible are so relevant to each and every one of us today. In

  64. a recent sermon, I preached from a song of a Sap who was the

  65. chief song leader appointed by David, his King. David had observed that the

  66. man Asap was one that was faithful to the House of God. As Richard

  67. Jacob said just a little while ago, we come to the House of God

  68. to get a feel of because sometimes during the week we hear our motors sputtering,

  69. and we know that we must gather amongst the believers and receive a filip.

  70. We find that God chose this man a Sap, and told David to

  71. appoint him to stand out or emerge from the midst of the others, because

  72. he was faithful to play upon the symbols in the House of God. In

  73. fact, David noted that this man was a man that could see things most

  74. men could not see. His writings were in dickie of the power of God.

  75. This man was familiar with the power of God, and so his writings

  76. were indicative of that. They indicated that this man had a personal relationship with

  77. his Lord. And that's the kind of person you want leading the choir.

  78. That's the kind of person you won't filing away songs in the Israelite him book

  79. if you would, that's the kind of person you want, Brother Jesse getting

  80. inspired and leading song service before camp meeting or before they would go to the

  81. House of the God hearing their special feat. So Asaff gave us a beautiful

  82. song. And if you would like to hear that servant, you could speak

  83. with Brother Jeremiah after the service and he can direct you to the archive and

  84. you could find out just exactly how God spoke to us concerning the writing or

  85. the song of Asaf. But this morning we're looking yet again at a song

  86. of David, the sweet Psalmist of Israel. Everybody in this building knows it.

  87. To the day, David is still the most beloved crowned king of Israel.

  88. They still referred to him as their favorite. He was their favorite because

  89. he could speak to the common man. He was their favorite because of his

  90. personal relationship with the Lord. He was also their favorite because he was honest

  91. about the makeup of men. He was one that was transparent with his fellow

  92. man, even though he was in a lofty place, in a high position.

  93. This man, in his writing speaking of King David, a lot of

  94. times he would talk about how his spirit was low, while at other times

  95. he would talk about how his spirit was high. If you knew a complete

  96. study of the life and the writings of David, you will find that he

  97. was not bipolar. You will not find that he swung from depression into extreme

  98. joy. But you will find a man that was transparent and honest with his

  99. people that were under his leadership concerning life, the brevity of life, the

  100. friilness of life, Brother Nathaniel, this was a man that just got righted

  101. down amongst the common people and related things to them that God had given to

  102. him, also relate to them of things that he had experienced himself. And

  103. he was honest that no matter how great we become in God, there's still

  104. gonna be those times of froilty. There's still gonna be those times of weakness.

  105. And that's why we treasured David, because he's just the common man,

  106. you know, He's just the common commoner's king, Brother Jesse. He's one

  107. that come out from the sheep coat and God anointed him and called him to

  108. be the special person in the midst of God's people. And Brother Jesse,

  109. I think about this man David often, and what did he have to say?

  110. To us this morning in this song, when he put pen to parchment

  111. and began to write these words, as the Holy ghost to overshadowed him.

  112. Perhaps his blood pressure had increased, his heart rate had increased, maybe his

  113. palms had got a little bit sweating. He knew that God was prison and

  114. he began to write down the words of this psalm. Some of you have

  115. already read it, as I've been given this introduction. The words of this

  116. one hundred and third psalm begin like this, Bless the Lord, oh my

  117. soul, and all that is within me, Bless his Holy name. It

  118. appears to the readers that Daved recognizes how the Lord has blessed him. Daven

  119. understands the many benefits and blessings bestowed upon the believers of the Lord. In

  120. the first two verses of this chapter, the psalmist is blessing the Lord because

  121. of the blessings that the Lord has given him. He has received some things

  122. from the Lord. Preacher, if you're able to pre only by the grace

  123. of God, and that is a gift or a talent that you have received

  124. from the Lord. Sunday school teacher, if you're able to teach very well,

  125. that is a gift and a blessing from the Lord. Moms and dads,

  126. those little children that you hold in your arms this morning, they are

  127. blessings from the Lord. In fact, our text speech concerning a father and

  128. his children plural, not child singular, but a father and his children.

  129. You see, David, recognize us that the Lord has a house full of

  130. children. If you want, He's got a word full of people. I

  131. do not know the prince and population number of Health, but I know that

  132. it exceeds seven million people in this world. And our Lord is ever mindful

  133. of all of those people, whether it be mister Elon Musk or mister Tyler

  134. Wooton. Our God in Heaven is just this mindful of those to men,

  135. as he is those that are in this fielding this morning, because they are

  136. His creation. The Bibles that we are His people and the sheep of His

  137. pastor. I know that the nation of Israel they claim to be the people

  138. of God. I know that the children of God claim to be the offspring

  139. of God Almighty that's been born by the Spirit. I know that all so

  140. that all of the people, both past, the present, and future that

  141. have lived within humanity are also the creation of God. And God loves each

  142. and every person that it doesn't matter if it's the boom of skinned rod or

  143. the hopeless person under the bridge that fort myers. Our God is mindful of

  144. them, as he is the middle sphare oh on the gable end of the

  145. barn. I'm telling you God is mindful of us, even realizes that the

  146. blessing, Sir, of the Lord, and the bitter fits come upon the

  147. sinner and the righteous, the unrighteousness and the righteous, the sinner and the

  148. same. Thank God for the blessing, sir or the Lord. Does it

  149. not rain or the just and the unjusting man? The daughter out on a

  150. swift prints this morning with a syrette in hand, that took a pup of

  151. it and had no desire, took them to the House of God. Our

  152. Lord pities him this morning. And Our God's not faring that that man should

  153. perish. That God will rein down du from heaven and also shower us for

  154. the sky upon that man that is diligence in his field, just as equally

  155. as he were raining down upon the righteous man's field. I'm telling you the

  156. even understood the bite pits up the press of the Lord. He recognized that

  157. the only thing we can do is praise them at times, despite the situation,

  158. despite her our weaknesses and party, Sir, we must just praise him

  159. that he goes all the same three times the two verses. In the opening

  160. of the introduction of the song, the lyrics saying bless the Lord or my

  161. soul, it says, bless this the only name. The dearer says,

  162. plessing the Lord, all my soul. That's the thankful. That's you too,

  163. who recognize the bear pits and the blessing her of God. The how

  164. to wonder for it is, sir, then how wonder point is if he

  165. are to processor the way he has. The unrighteous may not bless his name,

  166. this spading in his house, the who the righteous, we repress this.

  167. I want a name that just praise. We won't be continually. And

  168. I know that his name may not be uttered death for the rips or the

  169. unrighteousness manning. But he's still he met his death. He's unwilling that they

  170. lose, they're sold And in turn, be said later the fire, I

  171. thank God has benefit. So I thank God for his blessing that I also

  172. thank you for his tender messies, the compressing upon the righteous and the unrighteous.

  173. We're so easy to judge skid robot and the addict that is found forgetting

  174. that the Lord is their creator. For those effect to twist the words of

  175. preachers. I am not saying that God makes junk, and I am not

  176. saying that I'm writing help permits and listens to sin. I am not saying

  177. that God is just gonna overlook rebellion, stubbornness and delivered actions against him.

  178. I know that the Bible said that God is angry with the wicked every day,

  179. but if you take this in context, you will see that even though

  180. He is as angry as a father gets with his child at times, the

  181. Lord still loves him unconditionally. He still believes in them exceptionally. He's still

  182. hopes in them prayerfully and payfully. That's why Jesus said he I pray for

  183. all, and then said all to come. What they're saying is, I

  184. hope they understand her as some part in their life of what I'm doing.

  185. I hope they understand why I shut them out of the way. The eternal

  186. dam Nay said that they face the climb her on that cross her I'm doing

  187. this for the up I hope they recognize it. I hope they understanding.

  188. How about you all this morning? Can you find a reason to praise the

  189. Hope? Can you find a reason to bless this holy name? It praise

  190. to bless his holy name? The minor said, the name of the Lord

  191. is a strong tower. The righteous running to it and are saying, do

  192. you know there are unrighteous people that are not blessing his name. They are

  193. not activating a fortress by the sproken name of Jesus Son. They're like you

  194. are. And just because we are in that mighty fortress of our God,

  195. is not mean that God is not bindful of the s and the sick.

  196. They're out there in that world. I speaking of physical sickness, yes,

  197. sir, but also an a spiritual sitness. I want you to know today

  198. you will believe you can bless the Lord. Bless the name of the Lord.

  199. He knew that God would forgive us. If you look at the third

  200. person, you'll find another reason to praising him. It's because her he has

  201. forgiving our sir, Are you forgiving her this morning? Then that's reason enough

  202. to praise him. Some people come at church and down in ours and the

  203. money drops her complaining about how bad they's had to They're gonna senter can do

  204. it and to hospower. I'm telling you, Ruler, he'sting to praise the

  205. Lord. This fire m was coming over. They can press his way.

  206. How about it this morning? Can you find one reason right now to bless

  207. his holy name? He sure does deserb it. I remember in October of

  208. nineteen ninety two I got saved. I'm about to celebrate thirty one years of

  209. him saving my soul. I can go pre conversion and see the hand of

  210. God in my life. I can see the mercy of God when he spent

  211. my life in August of nineteen ninety two. I should not be here this

  212. morning. I had an appointment with death and disaster. But belar, room

  213. camp. If it had not been for Jesus fooling out of the hands of

  214. death and the devil and destruction and disaster, I would be daring who I'm

  215. telling you in an eternity and burning him. A governor's health. You know,

  216. I know who has the final say, sir as to who goes to

  217. heaven and who does the hell and when they go there, the devil can't

  218. take you to hell and less Jesus on yost door that I thank top in

  219. August or train twenty two. Oh, thank god I did knock down to

  220. hell little holy ghost. Jesus as the keys to death, hell and grat

  221. The devil can't just pull you out by the filling and say I'm gonna destroy

  222. you. You know, we fear that one that can destroy both soul and

  223. body in the hell. If you end up in Hell, and if the

  224. unrighteous en up there, it's because they chose to go there. They forced

  225. the hand of Jesus to unlock the door. Yes there's a crosser in the

  226. way of every person or the ring to Hell. Yes there's pups in the

  227. road, and yes there's often the so they have to overcome to end up

  228. there. I can praise it for that encounter and that experience that I experienced

  229. in August of twenty I'm sorry in nineteen ninety two. He deserves every word

  230. that I utter. He deserves every syllable that to hole it ghoest utters through

  231. his people. He deserves it. He is so deserving of our praise,

  232. and we are so undeserving of his beneficence to be a benefactor of the Lord.

  233. Is such a blessing to realize I'm about to preach and to begin to

  234. pool air into my lungs in hell and exhale in hell and ex hell.

  235. Do it, Brother Jonathan, do you thank God for that breath that God

  236. gave you and your body? Thank God for the breath of life? I

  237. said, thank God for the breath of life. Do you know a birth

  238. of life? Breath? There's nothing but the insistent and involuntary testimony to the

  239. existence of God. Every time that heart pizza, every time it wants nothing

  240. involuntary previous to God. O, my God, and I feel a hold

  241. of go in that place. Ain't not for every breath, every breath.

  242. Modern songwriters root songs like this. He knows my name, every step that

  243. I take, every move that I make, I know a benaura. Because

  244. he knows my name. That's enough reason to praise him, brother, to

  245. thank you, and to praise his name. Because he knows my name.

  246. I also praise him because he forgives us. Not only because he loads us

  247. for bitterfit, but because he forgives us. If you were to go on

  248. down to the twelfth verse of this chapter, you would see that he forgets

  249. us so well that he tosses the transgressions and the memories thereof concerning him personally.

  250. He tosses the transgressions and the memories of our transgressions as far as the

  251. east is from the west. Now, if you set out the chasing the

  252. east, anybody that knows or come on that the earth is round? You

  253. know what I'm talking about. It's first in a revolutionary cycle of a dial

  254. chase in his tail and aren't able to get it, and you can chase

  255. himself around this globe and sinta. You go catch up to them if you

  256. don't want to, the only one that one you're gonna say, our nan

  257. is a transgression, a sinsa of yester year, or us solely trp to

  258. stop there anything about it that? Come on, David, how can you

  259. get up? Come on? Because God forgave me that I've forgive myself.

  260. I said, God forgave me, then I forgive myself. I can't stand

  261. it when people remind new converts of who they used to be. I know,

  262. we give our testimonies, and sometimes preachers say, look at here,

  263. here was a drug dealer, here was a drug in it. We encourage

  264. others at times by our testimonies, but certainly not glorifying in them, not

  265. lifting up ourselves in glory in them. If you look at that with a

  266. road cap as far as the east is from the west, so far had

  267. he removed our transgressions from me? David said no, He said from us

  268. all inclusive of the people of Israel, also the people of the world.

  269. Brother Thomas Dire, Now you know why every Saturday you're on the recorder here

  270. the metal preaching. It's because you're moved with compassion for the sinner, and

  271. you believe that there is himpa in the name of Jesus. I remember doing

  272. it myself until we turned it over to go to steer Saturday after Saturday,

  273. somebody moved with compassion, letting somebody know that he is able to forgive them,

  274. He's within it to forgive them, to wipe up the slave clean.

  275. I'm telling you you might behave awhelm about that cronical son and daughter that I

  276. want you to know that conc Or the famous tronical son who returned home to

  277. be the content, that is the author and the Kennis that your prolical sons

  278. tame I'm telling you, I'm expecting him to come home of things. Indicative

  279. of this man being a parent to the pronocal son was his unconditional love and

  280. his compassion. So pronocles may come home having left their swine in the pens,

  281. and that's a good thing. But you will not see them come home

  282. without the stitch of the swine. That's what David said. He lived to

  283. me up and out of Amory Pitt, Amory Pitt. David said, I

  284. acknowledge my sins and my transgressions are ever before me. But David said,

  285. create in me a clean heart, world God, and renew a right spirit

  286. within me. David is activating to create the power of our almighty God.

  287. Don't you know that the Creator enjoys creating something out of nothing. He gave

  288. us this example in the Forgetting of Time, when he spoke into nothing and

  289. something came into order. He didn't even speak the chaos and bring it to

  290. orders, to spunk to nothing. They call it to order. That I'm

  291. telling you it might be so that that last love of pat is little Chaolope.

  292. But I want to about her. God to bring them, but to

  293. order, I said, God, heck, he could bring them to order.

  294. David said, so hath he cast our transgressions far from us? He's

  295. removed them from us. I can't cast them off. You could cast them

  296. off. I could cast them off. That's why in August of nineteen ninety

  297. two I came to church and I said, God, the waits of my

  298. sin her more than I can bear. I heard some weight lifters talking recently,

  299. and they said, this young woman who was a petite stature went into

  300. that gym. I cannot remember the name of the gym. But those guys

  301. were a fit able body men to be doing that. That was their sport,

  302. their hobby, Bill Jesse. But this little petit woman that did not

  303. have any more muscle on her arms and a frog does its legs, I

  304. mean this little tiny biceps had went into that gym, and those guys said.

  305. She thought she could do anything. If you guys can do it,

  306. I can do it. And brother Jesse, they said, she got on

  307. that bitch and asked one of them to lift that that weight off and to

  308. handed to her. And they were holding and she was insulted by their assistance.

  309. And they were holding two fingers under and two of them men's pulling up

  310. on the bar and brother Jesse, she's insulted by their assistance. Come on

  311. you getting the cho She's insulted by their assistance. Finally she's given a hall

  312. to me to let me have it. That was the last thing she should

  313. have requested of them, two power liters. They let her have it,

  314. and Brona e j that chest immediately with conking that bar was browing the rim

  315. teacher of that petigue for a woman her, she could not handle her for

  316. right talk. The enormity of what was only the eye of ball was two

  317. MUCKs. And I'm telling you that is why man he Tod said a sun

  318. because the den, I said, almost creating her color temple, and Todd

  319. gons he just creates all humanity her just don't need to turn down. They

  320. got me entrust her by the lights for the old seins, I said that,

  321. being trust her mother going to her for the rate for the scizzible sins

  322. or he has removed them from us. I thank God this morning that I

  323. didn't had to enter this place with condemnation. I thank God this morning that

  324. he has set me free. And who in the sun has made for it

  325. is free. Indeed, the Somist goes on in verse number four and thank

  326. God for rediption, for redeeming him from eternal destruction. It is clear to

  327. the reader that the sons knows that the Lord loves and cares for him deeply.

  328. Not only him, but the entire nation of Israel. Not only the

  329. entire nation of Israel, but the entire population past, present and future.

  330. We put setting me and at one time as setting Mellion. Later. God

  331. knows the status and the state of everyone of his people. I'm preaching this

  332. morning all his compassion for his creation. If you look at our text again,

  333. the Bible said, like ansel her Father pinions his children the little pity

  334. of them that fear him, for he knoweth our frame, and he remembers

  335. that we are dust. David knows all too well on the heartbreak of the

  336. father. That's why when Joe out killed Asalim, David boy until Isray was

  337. far mishaken that David boy, he said, oh who Absalom? Who absal

  338. would that time on a time from hu Asalom, when we know what he

  339. was doing. He was being propetic. They come on, chees us,

  340. sir, what died for his son? For God son come old, that

  341. he calmed her his only but God's son, that whosoever believing in him should

  342. my parents. But I'm never lasting life. David could not deliver his son

  343. Absolom from his weaknesses, from his sins, from his transgressions. I believe

  344. what he was saying, Brother Philip is son. If I could have got

  345. you to have a broken and a contrast spirit, son of I could have

  346. just got you to do like I did and fall down besieging him for mercy.

  347. Oh my God, I'm sure, sister witness. David stood there and

  348. looked at the corpse of Absalom, and saw that the darts of Job's men

  349. had pierced through, and saw the ribbons of red where each dagger had had

  350. the dart had impelled him, the ribbons of red going down his son.

  351. David had no idea that our heavenly father would one day looked at ribbons of

  352. crimson strewn falling down upon his son, and the spirits of brokenness that would

  353. turn the lights of the world out. The world itself, creation itself would

  354. prevail, that it would grow because the orchestrainer of all of the galaxy freed

  355. the light itself has been dapping and narken because of Creeper or his son.

  356. Look, can I tell you God loves usself as much as he loves his

  357. own son, his own and the gout's son, who wants to get eat

  358. a bit a pincer of heaven he wants to make through a trying to heir

  359. to unequal senters of every square inch of Clara of who he went, Come

  360. Russa, they gonna just see your parents trying answer with Jesus. Benefactors of

  361. the blessing, declaring brokenness, declare are frailty A reaching for souls. This

  362. morning, the Lord pities his children. David had pitied absolute I have pitied

  363. my sons at times. A lot of times I say my five sons and

  364. hand over there is probably want to go and your one daughter. You know,

  365. I never forget Hannah. A lot of times I say my five sons,

  366. and Hannah can saying I'm my one daughter. I'm talking to that one

  367. your one daughter, I'm talking to that one lost sheep. This morning,

  368. the ninety nine can sit in a pew and thank God for his benefits and

  369. his blessings, and for his forgiveness and for his kindness and his gentleness and

  370. his compassion upon us. But I'm reaching for somebody this morning. As a

  371. father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him, For

  372. he knoweth our frame and remembers that we are dust. The Lord has compassion

  373. on us because he knows we are his creation. He knows his creation.

  374. He knows you better than you know yourself. I must repeat that again.

  375. He knows you better than you know yourself. He knows where you are reinforced,

  376. and he knows where you are crip on. He knows your strengths,

  377. and he knows your weaknesses and serve us to debone. He knows your frowl

  378. teeth, and he knows how fragile you are old. But he still loves

  379. you. He saw when you made a messer because of that mistake. I'm

  380. gonna say it again. He knows that you made a messer through making that

  381. mistake. But he still loves you, and he had compassion on you.

  382. A lot of preachers try to make it out like God is standing around a

  383. corner with a baseball batter just waiting on you to make a mistake or a

  384. mishapper and knock you upside the head and throw you into the eternal laker,

  385. a firel you can miss her. God is holding the cheeser to death,

  386. hell and the drive because he does not want anybody coming there by the devil's

  387. appointment. Are you getting mess her? Or yes? The devil used to

  388. have the king, but now Jesus got the key, tak us a watch,

  389. and prodigal sons and daughter's going to hell. God knows a w that

  390. homeless dombey turn the hell. God doesn't want that. I didn't couldn't slide

  391. into eternity in the hell. I'm telling you, Come on now, God

  392. lost them. Lo, the song writer a modern time, said these words.

  393. They penned these words. He knew me, yet he loved me.

  394. He who made the heaven shine so unworthy of such mercy, yet he loved

  395. me. When he was on the cross, I was on his mind.

  396. An omniscient God could have thought of every one of us, and could have

  397. counted the weight of every one of our sins in a moment of time.

  398. An omniscient, all knowing God knew your weaknesses as well as your strengths.

  399. There have been times when people have gotten to know you better. The closer

  400. they got to your brother Tyler, the more they loved you, or perhaps

  401. the closer they got to you, the more they decided that's desired and destined

  402. to choose to dismiss you as their friend. Did y'all catch that the more

  403. you get to know somebody, you'll either choose to just continue with them as

  404. your friend or to dismiss them as your friend. Brother Jesse, pray for

  405. him. It's a little bit warm up here this morning, Brother Caleb.

  406. I thank you for being in the house of God this morning. Sick Even

  407. if you're standing on the back wall, that makes two of us. I'm

  408. up here at the front preaching that same sickness as trying to get a hold

  409. of me. And I've stayed away from everybody. Threw up during the night.

  410. Felt terrible, But I want to preach, preach to you all now.

  411. So according to our text, the Lord he does not diss us or

  412. dismiss us because of what he knows about us. I've seen people on the

  413. floor respect somebody highly until that gossip Godler talks to somebody else at the water

  414. cooler out them. I'll come on. Then they just believe everything that they've

  415. heard and they have nothing to do with that person any longer he calls and

  416. what they've heard about them. There's been preachers that have preached with an anorting

  417. that informally been murderers and thieves and all kinds of things. But Brother Jesse,

  418. when somebody in the town begin to spread the word of what that preacher

  419. used to mean, they no longer had confidence in town for that preacher.

  420. I'm kind of called the omniscient one, the all knowing why to steal?

  421. Who wants us despite it what he does about us? I said, God,

  422. he knows you uprising that he brings it down city. He sees when

  423. you're star on it, and he sees when you're called. And it doesn't

  424. matter what the pharisee or the delentious person thinks her costume wants him. When

  425. you like a baby's wanting a vaca and you call her and hits your head,

  426. God like a pother must have picked you up, dro up the good

  427. that sets you over the way. That's just don't wanna can't come for madness

  428. down? No, God, pull that tender myssings up. What a price

  429. He knows, he knows, he knows they're an at it he knows they're

  430. bound. He knows, but he still loves him, and he still pities

  431. them. Brother Philip, the Lord knew about that cancer before you knew about

  432. it. We come back from the cruise, I guess it was. I

  433. got in the living room, Brother Philip said, Dad, could we sit

  434. down and talk? I said, sure, so, he said, with

  435. everything that you carry on, you having been a pioneer pastor for seventeen years,

  436. he said, trying to make a living for all of the family,

  437. and plus people in the church helping them or an extra income. You went

  438. on and on and all is going on. When you said, Dad,

  439. I hate to perform on you with you being a pastor, he said,

  440. but I need to tell you something. He said. I've got a sign

  441. of cancer. He said. It's just not getting any better. It's dublin

  442. and it eventually tripled in size, right, brother and Philip, Well,

  443. we found out it's an aggressive form of rare cancer. But brother Philip,

  444. you know what, God, the omniscient one, knew all about that before

  445. the doctors and we knew about it. I feel the preacher in his house

  446. this morning, says the wounding. The Lord knew your strengths and weaknesses.

  447. Yet he loves you. He loves you unconditionally, biter Danny Edwards. He's

  448. an all knowing god. He's never making a new discovery about you. He

  449. knows everything about you. He knew everything about you before you got seved in

  450. that tent meeting, before you started attending servants up there at Tennessee. And

  451. he still loves you today. He knows your Oh, come on now,

  452. the Lord knowsa the thoughts of the intense of the heart. I'm talking to

  453. real people in a real world. There's sixty some people here this morning,

  454. and better. Samuel said, he's gonna get here as fast as he can.

  455. He said, PAPSA preach to him. He laughed her. He said,

  456. don't hold me anything back. Preach to him this morning. He said,

  457. I wish I was there. He said, I'll be tuning in just

  458. as fast as my big brother and get it up. Woted. You know

  459. what coda. Samuel was saying that I miss my home church. Sister man,

  460. He said, Papa, we miss our home church. We missing love

  461. you, Papa. But matter essing you know what, I am a dad

  462. to them. I do pity them when they're sick. My pity better,

  463. Samuel when he was following that tuber in his inner ear that was threatening his

  464. stole and his brain. But God, it's Michael, brother Samuel. It's

  465. just rot and gonna fill up and gonna Danny more than I am. It

  466. is true what I can say. That's their customer. They're on my mind

  467. continually. I said, you're old, not my continually do you realize the

  468. persons and the benefits of having a melancho has got you on the heart les

  469. praying for you? What he what about you? What about problem? In

  470. those days? For about us? The preaching of all about Yet he yet

  471. he pities us. God, it's not John Christal. You young people don't

  472. know who that is National and geographic taught us about you a great discovery.

  473. God is Christopher Columbus. Or Sir Francis Drake, You young people that aren't

  474. doing your homeschool work. Let me help my mom out here. Turn around,

  475. let me give you a kick in the rear. If you'll do your

  476. homeschool work, it'll make preacher easy on you later on. But Francis Drake

  477. never did find the fountain of youth. But I can tell you, brother

  478. Jesse, I have found him who has made the fountain of living water.

  479. And you can search all your life for youthfulness. Huh are you all with

  480. me? That's what this generation is in search of. They can't stand getting

  481. old. I have figured out that we must age gracefully. Some of us

  482. are agent gracefully, and some of us are agent not so gracefully. Oh,

  483. come on, I'm trying to preach to you this morning. Then will

  484. never be a new discovery for God concerning you. I may find out that

  485. you've got some kind of growth on the camph of your leg. I might

  486. find out upon your death, the mortician might say that you know, this

  487. person was eight of them but cancer. But God will never make a new

  488. discovery about you. You're not getting this. I think some of you are,

  489. but some of you is still Sunday morning. But the Lord still has

  490. compassion for us. Even though he completely knows us. He completely understands us,

  491. He completely gets us. Old brother cheering Mina. Sister Leah gets you.

  492. I just think she knows how to read you. Maybe you're so much

  493. like her daddy. She say, well, brother Jamie, if you hear

  494. this, I'm just kid. I don't know anything really about you. Brother

  495. Jamie. But somehow Sister Leah gets you. She understands you. Old brother

  496. Philip was starting to find out. Maybe Sister Elizabeth gets you. Maybe she

  497. does it. She'll figure you out after a while. You're definitely want of

  498. a kind. But you know what, Brother Jesse, the Lord pitieth his

  499. chuning. I want you to know God has compassion on his creation. I'm

  500. preaching on his compassion for his creation, and my I reiterating here compassion is

  501. not sympathy, and compassion is not empathy. You may not understand what I'm

  502. saying, but listen. In the seventh chapter of Saint luc Gusper I rether

  503. rent to us of an actual happening in a currency where Christ walked up her

  504. and canceled a funeral. There might have been attends her at that funeral service

  505. that had had sympathy. Concert in hand. They might have had a budua

  506. but plans. They might have had infantry. But I want you to know

  507. her Jesus did not reach out to or called to sympathy, who reached out

  508. to my hand and touched her to marry her. I'm telling you God and

  509. testing what Jesus had something there for this Sunday. Then her a car,

  510. I said, Jesus. Second more, I said, a card. Yeah,

  511. compassion. Sometimes when parents bury children unexpectedly prematurity, because of horrible things,

  512. the only thing we can offer is a card. And we try to

  513. offer compassion. But a lot of times it's too late. It's just too

  514. late. It's just too late. I don't want to wait until they're gone

  515. to make a difference. The marble said, if there's a man that has

  516. these world's goods, and he seeth his brother in need, and he shutteth

  517. up his bows of compassion, and we'll go on to that here in a

  518. minute. But I want you all to know Jesus did not personally deliver a

  519. card. He delivered compassion. The deceased had a miracle waiting on them.

  520. I don't care how dead and this world they are. I don't care how

  521. dead to God they are. They may be deceased, and you might have

  522. already put them away in a coffin, and you might have already, as

  523. their parent, or as their friend or their coworker, might have even put

  524. a nice little sympathy card on that coffin. But I want you to know

  525. I felt it yesterday, and God has been dealing with me again today already

  526. about compassion. And I come to preach to us about the compassion of Christ

  527. and says to how he handed her more than a card. Jesus made a

  528. miracle out of that mood mess. And I was praying, Brother rod Cap

  529. he said, what happens when pastors behind closed doors and writing? Let me

  530. tell you what happened. I was putting pin in the parchment and writing in

  531. the parson's office, and Brother rod Cap, all of a sudden, the

  532. spirit of God unctioned me to write, Was it a mistake that got this

  533. woman in that mess? Was it some kind of mistake that got that young

  534. man in the mess that he was in? It led to his devisor?

  535. Or yes, there's been a lot of people. They should not have took

  536. that first simple, They should not have took that first dimper. They should

  537. have never put it in that littlep or come on, they should have never

  538. injected their first ounce into those veins. There was a mistake that led to

  539. a masser. And don't you think the attic nonsa? It was a mistake.

  540. I'm told the howldser all in there loss, I said, no,

  541. matter, how did it gets her? Never choose the cooper with deeper,

  542. who ride the altar, who ride the archer throwing their church, not the

  543. saint's pray. I'm telling you, if a person mistake that cost him his

  544. lifer, God was steer got a worker a miracle for a look and not

  545. a made a bad charge. And it might be affected you. But I

  546. believer in a corner a miracle, something through the passion mean your hamper his

  547. deepo wasn't a mistake that created a dismiss We aren't sure what the cause of

  548. death was. Did he eat too many mushrooms? What was the cause of

  549. death? Did the don't get jump off the cliff? What was the cause

  550. of death? What was the tragic mistake the crowd Nevertheless, they have empathy

  551. and they have sympathy, but what we need is compassion. Again, they

  552. had sympathy and they had empathy, But what we need is compassion. In

  553. your life. You need a preacher with compassion. You need parents with compassion,

  554. because it will make a difference when you get into the rocky places in

  555. life. Just having somebody that is compassionate will make a difference. Jesus was

  556. willing and able to help. Do we need to go or should I keep

  557. preaching? It was completely natural for the Lord to care for the child of

  558. this woman, just as she cared for her child, Brother Staring, it

  559. is nothing more than the love of God reaching through you into the streets of

  560. Label. Every week, Brother Jesse, I can say this you and Sister

  561. Hannah, you too carry a burden for the sick and the shut INDs.

  562. Brother Nathanael, and Sister Rachel, you too carry a bird for the children

  563. in the elementary Sunday School class and the Hope Outreach class. Brother and Sister

  564. road Cap and the rest of the whole team, y'all carry a birden for

  565. of those homeless people in Label, and a fort myriage. But I want

  566. you to know there is not any greater care for anyone by anyone than when

  567. the Lord shows love and caring concern for his own children, moms and dads,

  568. admitted, Brother Jesse, as much as you love the sixth and the

  569. shut him, there is no way you care for them as deeply as you

  570. care for that little boy sitting right there behind you, Brother Nathaniel, as

  571. much as you carry a burden for the lost of the Hope Outreach class.

  572. There is no way you can truly admit and say I love them more than

  573. I love my old children. Are you all women? But I want you

  574. to know God loves your child, and God loves his child. He loves

  575. his children more than we love them. They are our offspring, yes,

  576. but they're his handiwork and they are his children. All. Come on,

  577. now, is there any greater or care for anyone that care that he has

  578. for his children? Why because they're his old creation. Brother Caleb, you're

  579. standing on the back wall sick this morning, at least six to eight feet

  580. away from everybody. But who cares for you most, Brother Caleb, your

  581. Sunday school teacher or that person in the pew, the Sunday school teacher.

  582. Why because he's your daddy. Don't you feel life your brother cares more for

  583. you, more deeply than anybody else. Brother Philip and Sister Elizabeth, you

  584. too are married. You'll get married a couple of weeks ago. But Brother

  585. Philip, I want you to know it doesn't matter how jealous Sister Elizabeth I

  586. might get at times, I will always be your daddy. They come on,

  587. you stood up in this pool pit and balling and squadling and said,

  588. that's the best parents of boy could have ever had. They've been so good

  589. to me. You never felt the need to leave our house to find the

  590. will of God. You never felt the need to move to another state to

  591. find the perfect will of God. We made it comfortable for you. We

  592. were concerned about you. We pushed ourself as feelings aside and sacrifice for you.

  593. How that is why you feel a way for us that you knew.

  594. But brother, you're out of my home and out of touch and out of

  595. reach now. But I want you to know I will always have that feeling

  596. of love of a father to you. It doesn't matter if you're a trucker

  597. head and a shrimp boone to it from myst port. It doesn't matter if

  598. you're being somewhere else lost in game without God. I'm the steel luck you

  599. aren't conditionally What are you talking about? I'm saying, Sister Elizabeth by a

  600. merrity. But she could never replace the poll I could never be the lock.

  601. But it shit to be seen her true character cause she differentiated between the

  602. two. I see a lot of jealous wife ruck, a lot of holes.

  603. Come on, now, is that a come mister Elizabeth, you need

  604. to remember whose house you can't wait too, and who prayed that that happened.

  605. This ain't no hiring right here. I'm gonna obey God, whether it's

  606. my friends, family, sons and daughter in laws. And you can let

  607. ten minutes in an hour long sermon or ten seconds of God in his part

  608. words and our long sermon confuse you. God has not given us the spirit

  609. of fear, and God is not the author of confusion. But I know

  610. the Holy ghosts when I feel it, and I know when I speak as

  611. the oracles of God, and I know when I warn comforts ye took I

  612. took for the mother to see, Brother Philip, I will continue to share

  613. your pains as though it was my own. I will continue to lay on

  614. my floor two hours every night until God releases me. It didn't matter if

  615. I needed to disappear from the wonderful people I loved on a cruise and they

  616. probably wonder, Where's brother? How will at? I'm going to stay committed

  617. to my vow to God that I will continue to pray until God gives me

  618. an answer. We went to Branson, Missouri. I said, Philip,

  619. every night I've been on my face for two hours. I said, God

  620. has done yet gave me the answer. But I know that God has showed

  621. up and that's enough. And you ever be telling you that, as we

  622. wrote down in the elevator, I will carry your pain. I will carry

  623. your burden. Oh come on, now, that's what a father does.

  624. You say, Well, I don't do that. I want you to know.

  625. God dealt with me about nine months ago on a Sunday afternoon to head

  626. south to my son that was working. I did not understand why God told

  627. me to go south. The Holy Gess has got this again. And I

  628. just told sister howel we won't be eating over the cactus Mexa resta front today.

  629. We're gonna get something to go and surprise Jesse, I take something to

  630. eat. Little did I know when I arrived a bad drug deal. It

  631. just happened and one of the men had to front of Jessie as he was

  632. working on the side of a street in a Buckley, Florida. They had

  633. approached him as the city water the man director of standing right there in the

  634. middle of a truck deal that went bad. Something unexpected took place, something

  635. you were not anticipating. On a Sunday afternoon. The world was about to

  636. unravel. Don't you think that it was not daddy that was being moved.

  637. There was a heavy father moving on your pastor moving on your daddy. What

  638. I'm saying gonna Chessie. They're gonna fill up her. Say oh, thank

  639. God for the father. Don't don't feel the pain. That won't tell you

  640. you recall usl The circumstances fly on a pin in this building, and road

  641. car pills are pay. He does his trug and he wants to you.

  642. Guys, we'll get over what I was saying to sister Elizabeth. You might

  643. as well get over it. I will always be his daddy. I don't

  644. think you have a problem with that. But that doesn't mean you would be

  645. tempted. You know sometimes whenever little women get married, they become territorial.

  646. Suddenly they got the whole world together. The bride's mama can't help her all

  647. that's mama. Huh. I don't know where this is coming from. As

  648. a father, piteous, it's children. As a father, piteous it's children.

  649. I feel holy goods this right here. Jonathan. You're talking to her.

  650. You're an official, But this will always be my baby right here.

  651. I'll kiss her right here, and I'll be doing that until she dies.

  652. Around die, and it don't matter what kind of whatever it gets in his

  653. heart. I'm telling you, I feel the boldness of the Holy Ghost,

  654. and I love every sow in this building. I bought her a dunkin doughnuts

  655. refresher. I have never handled Hannah interperfectly. She kisses me on the cheek

  656. every night before bedding. Most nights I don't kiss her back. But the

  657. other day I handed her a dunkin doughnut refresher. Ain't that good sanctify preaching?

  658. And I kissed her on the cheek. I said, this is from

  659. my one and only, baby girl. I know there's a lot of times

  660. I say my five sons, I said, this is from my one and

  661. only. You know what, God's got a lot of wanting on this.

  662. Every one of us are wanting only because if you had to have been the

  663. one and only the needed heal the cancer, he died for it. If

  664. you'd been the one and only need to revive was a young man who died

  665. for you. He saw this beautiful thought, Sister Tracy and brother Danny,

  666. that I'm trying to protect right here the following the leading of the Holy ghosts.

  667. But Brother Danny's sister Tracy will always be Sister Elizabeth Parris brother sister how

  668. will always be Brother Phillip's parents. I'm telling you, are y'all getting the

  669. mind of God. It doesn't matter how far the prodigal goes. It doesn't

  670. matter how far he runs. They will always be his children. It doesn't

  671. matter they can disown him. This fellowship the Lord refuse to have anything to

  672. do with the Lord, But the Lord still has compassion on them. Isaiah

  673. fifty three and four said, surely he hath borne our grief and carried our

  674. sorrows, Yet we did esteem him, stricken, spitting of God, and

  675. afflicted. Do we know of another person that would have done for us what

  676. Jesus did? Phil, If I can commit to pray for you, and

  677. I did it again last night, despite throwing up multiple times. I told

  678. the Lord just before I walked away from that few, how will I preach?

  679. Because I'm so sore I can't breath. He helped me. I was

  680. praying in that office before church, brother just say said if you don't help

  681. me, And then I realized it's here. The Holy Ghost is here.

  682. You know why, because he loves his people. I said, Lord,

  683. what I need you to do is use me as an instrument to minister to

  684. your people. And if you choose to take the sickness, do so and

  685. keep it. But if you choose to return it after I've been anointed,

  686. so be it. Just please let me deliver my burden to these people.

  687. In that scripture Isaiah fifty three and four, listen, he said, our

  688. griefs yours, and mine, Our sorrows yours, and mine, our transgressions

  689. yours, and mine, our iniquities yours. And yet we esteemed him stricken,

  690. smitten of God and afflicted. It goes on and say, we have

  691. gone astray. We have turned the iniquity of us all. That's what Jesus

  692. said. You brought her to be stalled. He that is withoutus and among

  693. you. Let him cast the first storm. He suffered for us. He

  694. did all of us. This for us. He endured the brutality of the

  695. Roman soldiers, for us. He endured the shame of the cross for us.

  696. In the second chapter of the Book of Acts, Peter places the blame

  697. on all of the men of Israel, the Lord's very old children. He

  698. said, you're the ones to be blamed for the execution of compassion personified.

  699. Would you come to the piano, brother Jesse, Let's stand this. He

  700. knew me, yet he loved me. First. John three and seventeen said,

  701. but whoso hath this world's good? And see if his brother have need?

  702. And shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him? How dwelleth the love

  703. of God in him? Can I ask you a question, what did Jesus

  704. withhold from you? Now? Man, I ask another question, what have

  705. we withheld from Jesus? The Lord has compassion on us and our sin and

  706. suffering, and desires that we would repent and turn from our sins. He

  707. knows us better than we know ourselves. May we bow our heads and close?

  708. And I want to tell the story of something that happened with sister Howl

  709. and I. We had just got saved. We had began praying for the

  710. loss and saw some come in as a result to just parts of compassion,

  711. weeping and crying for the lost. The deacon in our church had just got

  712. upset and left. There was some sort of disagreement between him and the pastor.

  713. His wife had played the piano in that church for years. I want

  714. you to listen very carefully. Their son that was in his mid thirties had

  715. been a backslider for years. Brother Philip. One night, Yobama and I

  716. was coming home from church. Just down the road from the place where we

  717. were staying, we saw a man in the ditch. I slammed on the

  718. brakes, put the car in reverse, and backed up. And I looked

  719. and I realized he appeared to be unconscious. I rolled my winded down said

  720. hey, sir, Hey, sir, are you okay, only to discover

  721. he didn't have a stitch of clothes on him. I said, sir,

  722. you okay? Have you been injured? Are you all right? Immediately,

  723. Brother Philip, I felt compassion worn tears flowed don face. I didn't know

  724. who he was, but I knew he was messed up. I opened the

  725. car door, and he jumped up like a wild beast. I will never

  726. forget it for as long as I live, and without a stitch of clothes,

  727. he faced sister how and I. He had long, matted hair and

  728. a long beard, and he was so scared, so alerted that we had

  729. stopped here he is in darkness, in an area where nobody was seemingly in

  730. the ditch left for dad supposedly, I said, are you okay? And

  731. brother Philip, When the wild man lifted up his head, my heart broke.

  732. It was the son of our deacon. I smelled alcohol. I smelled

  733. alcohol. I went to the house called his daddy and I said, mister

  734. so and So, I got some bad news. He said, what is

  735. it, Jeremy, I said, your son's down here, just down the

  736. road. Start naked, drunk, I said, And as I left him

  737. to get help, just up the road and eighth of a mile or so,

  738. there's all of his friends down there talking about how sorry he is,

  739. worthlessly he is, and they're laughing at him, Brother Philip, because they

  740. could see him down, they're starting to take it drunk, I said,

  741. he's being mocked. I told Sister How, this is the deacon's son.

  742. This is the man that took care of the church for years where my grand

  743. and grandpa went to church. My heart broke, Brother Jacob, I said,

  744. my heart broke. After awhile, Sister How and I got in the

  745. vehicle to go check on him. Him. Brother would there was our old

  746. deacon had his naked son over his shoulders and dragging him to his truck.

  747. He threw him in there, took him home, washed him up, sobered

  748. him up, cleaned him up, put clothes on him. I saw that

  749. deacon in a church service sometime later, and he stood up crying with warm

  750. tears of compassion for his son. He said, pray for my boy that

  751. would be saved. He's out in the far country and his old friends are

  752. mockinging. But then he turned his sister how and I, and he said,

  753. in these fine people, when my son was lostin in a ditch,

  754. they came looking for me, and I found my son before something terrible happened.

  755. I came on a mission this morning for the King as the Father,

  756. like the Father piteth his cheer, Jesus sees, Jesus cares, Jesus knows

  757. he's concerned. Could we all just find a place to pray this morning.

  758. I feel like there's a lot of us that could just ask God to give

  759. us some more compassion, having compassion, making a friends. The example is

  760. his compassion for his creation. Mother. Ask God to warm your heart of

  761. compassion. Father, ask God to warm that heart with compassion, pastor,

  762. ask God to warm your spirit with more compassion. I've been praised for God,

  763. give me compassion. Give be compassion, Lord, compassion, compassion.

  764. It could be you should be you Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, he knows

  765. yet, he loves, he says, and he cares. He knows you
