The Prince's presence - Bro Jeremy Howell 12-24-2023

Brother Jesse, which you read the Christmas story to us Saint Luke's Gospel,

chapter number two Versus number one through twenty. And it came to pass in

those days that there went out of the cree from Caesar Augustus that all the

world should be taxed. And this taxing was first made when Serenius was governor

of Syria, and all went to be taxed, everyone into his own city.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth

into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because

he was at the house and lineage of David, to be taxed. With

Mary, his espoused wife, being great with child, and so it was

that while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

She brought forth her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid

him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inning.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping

watch over their flock by night, and lou the Angel of the Lord,

came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them.

They were sore afraid, and the Angel said under them, fearing not,

for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be

to all people, or unto you, is born this day in the city

of David, a savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall

be a signed unto you. You shall find the baby, wrapped in swattering

clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the Angel a

multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying glory to God in the

highest and on earth peace good will toward men. And they came to pass.

As the angels were going away from them into heaven, the shepherd said

one to another, let us now go even unto Bethel Heaven, see this

thing which has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.

And they came with haste and found them, Joseph and the Babe lying

in a manger. When they had seen it, they made known abroad the

saying which was told them concerning the child, and all they heard it wondered

at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all

these ant and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned to glorifying

and praising God. Were all the things that they had heard and seen,

as it was told unto them. So many things happening in a little town

called Bethlehem. So many things taken place at once, Chaos, Chaos ensued,

Trouble on every hand, the pressure from street salesman, the merchants,

the taxation upon the shoulders of every person, Trouble on every hand, the

census people everywhere, trying to set the setting for you as we get ready

to preach what the Lord has put upon my heart. Brother Nathaniel, would

you read Job chapter number fourteen, verse number one. Man that is born

of a woman is a few days and full of trouble. Chaos ensued that

day. Let's stand for the reading of our text, Saint John's Gospel,

chapter number fourteen and verse number twenty seven. The Bible says, peace I

leave with you. My peace I given to you, not as the world

giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither

let it be afraid. How many people are comfortable in large crowds? Not

anybody, nobody present among the sixty five in this building this morning, Not

one person is saying I'm comfortable in large crowds. Let's pray, Heavenly Father,

we love it, We praise you, We thank you for the opportunity

to be in the house of the Lord. I thank you God for the

privilege to be standing shoulder to shoulder with brothers and sisters of light precious faith.

I pray that you would anoint this thy servant set of guard at my

mouth, and help me to say the things that you would happy to say,

nothing more or less. Anoint the ears of this thy people, that

they might hear what it is. The Spirit of God saith through these words

of life, the word of God, through the preach word. Not my

words only, but your words. Lord. It's not by our mind or

our power, but by Thy spirit. I pray that these words of this

blessed book will go below the shoulders, will saturate that heart, that spirit

in that mind. I pray, God, let us be hearers and doers,

help us to hear and heed. We give you the praise and the

honor of glory. Maybe the partner's place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In the

church, said Jesus' name. Amen, as you're being seated, look at

your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, have you felt the presence of

the Lord? Respond to them with us, Yes, neighbor, I have

felt him his presence in a mighty way. Brother Nathaniel Howell did not know

what I came to reach on this morning, but I came to preach on

the Prince's presence, the Prince's presence. Just before the quartet began to sing,

Brother Nathaniel said, I put a high value on the presence of the

Lord. He said, you don't feel this just anywhere you go, in

every church that you visit or attend, you do not feel the presence of

the Lord. And as he said, I feel the presence of the Prince

in this building this morning. Again looking at our text, John chapter number

fourteen and verse number twenty seven, the Prince speaking said peace, I leave

with you my peace. I give unto you, not as the world giveth,

give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let

it be afraid. Our text is found in a New Testament book of the

Holy Bible. The title bears the name of its author. The author of

this spook in the Bible is John, John the Beloved that very special person

that was involved in the life in the ministry of Jesus Christ. He was

special that Jesus Christ because of a term that we use often concerning people that

like to be close to us, and that term is endearment. This man

loved to be close to the Master. I have no doubt that he was

also close with his disciple, Brethren, I know that he was probably very

familiar with the workings and the ministry of Jesus Christ. Yes, he was,

without a doubt where he traveled with Jesus Christ closely for three and a

half years. Nowhere in the Sacred rit do you ever find an instance concerning

the apostle John where he was serving or following Christ at a guilty distance.

We find that in the life of Peter, at some point we see where

Peter had drifted off a little bit and he's following Christ at a guilty distance.

But this apostle, the beloved John, was one that frequented the presence

of Jesus Christ. That I thank God this morning for the presence of Jesus

Christ that's in this service. I'm glad that even though we had a substitute

drummer, we could still feel the presence of the Lord. I'm glad that

even though we had a substitute lead guitarist, we could still feel the presence

of the Lord. Our acoustic guitarist had moved to the lead guitarist position,

but we could still feel the presence of the Lord. As the quartet was

singing this morning, without a lead guitar and without our drummer boy, we

still could feel the presence of the Lord. There is no doubt that John

had learned to put high value on the Prince's presence. I know there's a

lot of times that I have had to visit and go somewhere. I said

to Sister Howell, after leaving that particular service or business or organization, I've

said, I could not feel the presence of the Lord. As a minister,

and even before I begin my ministry, I would be summons to the

house of people to help them pray concerning a sick loved one or something,

and sometimes Sister wouldn't. I would leave that place and I would say I

had felt the presence of the Lord, and God had showed up in a

mighty way, and no doubt God had honored the persons there were present there

in that place. Those people that lived there had obviously make God and his

spirit welcome. While there's been other times after leaving such a place, I've

told Sister Howell, I'm ready to leave. I need to get out of

here because I did not detect the Prince's present. There's been times I have

felt a darkness in those places. I'm talking about houses of worship and houses

that God's people supposedly live him. I'm glad this morning that we can say

only because of His goodness, his mercy, and his grace, that He

is present every service here at the Bethel Hole in his church. I have

heard Sister Wooton remind this congregation time and again that in seventeen years of involvement,

says Sister how and I have been here, that she cannot remember one

service where she did not detect the presence of the Lord. Now, did

not our Lord promise us that he would go with us all the way,

even unto the end of the earth. I could say that the God that

I serve and the God that you serve, has certainly kept up his end

of that bargain. I'm telling you there's been some sticky situations at Sister Howell

and I have found ourselves in but we can testify and say that the Lord

was present. I know that this belved disciple, John was recorded as one

that would lay his head on the chest or the bosom of Jesus Christ.

What in the world would cause John to do this? This man was not

demonstrating a romantic gesture. No, it was not a twisted romantic gesture.

The apostle John never did struggle with homosexuality. This was not one effeminate man

leaning upon another effeminate men. These were mighty men of valor before their calling

the manifestations of their ministry. You have a mighty son of a carpenter named

Jesus President, and you have a mighty commercial fisherman present named John. What

in the world would cause such a man to lead upon the strong shoulder of

Jesus Christ? Perhaps, sister would He knew that the calling that he had

seed required total commitment from the very beginning. He will see that these men,

like James and John and Peter and Andrew, they left everything, including

family. They left their father and the fishing nets and followed Jesus. What

was it they felt that day on the Sea of Galilee as they saw that

man beckoned them to come seaside and Parker the doctor vessel, and they heard

the voice of the Prince's feet to them. There was something about his voice,

Cousin Nathaniel, there was something about the commission that required total commitment.

I feel like there were a lot of unanswered questions still in the heart and

the mind of the apostle John. He was wondering, when with these things

that the Lord has been speaking of come to fruition, When will they come

to pass? I'm sure each of the twelve apostles understood that their relationship with

Jesus wouldn't keep them out of harm's way. I want you to listen to

that as I repeat that their relationship with Jesus would not keep them out of

Heart's way indefinitely. Our Lord told his apostles and his disciples, including us,

that he does not guarantee the absence of trouble. Let me say that

again, he does not guarantee the absence of trouble. Jesus knew that things

would happen to his disciples of that age and also for those that would follow

years and years later. That is why Jesus prayed for us. He said,

Father, I pray for them that I have now, and I pray

for them that will be coming down the line. You see, he knew

that things would happen that were unpleasant. John did eventually because Jesus had full

warn them of this. Some things would threaten to tear his follower's world apart.

Can I say that again there were some things that would threaten to tear

his followers world apart. If you look in the fourteenth chapter of John,

you will see despite all of this and all of these threatenings, he invited

his apostles or disciples to anchor their compidence in him. I said, we

must anchor our compidence in Jesus Christ. Trust in the Lord and lean not

to thine own understanding in all thy ways. Acknowledge Him, and he shall

bring it to pass. Look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor,

trust in the Lord, and he shall bring it to pass. I

want you to know that the Lord let them know that even though they would

face hardships and face calamities and face chaos, that they could find peace in

the midst of their trouble. While going through their trouble, they could find

peace. Sister Cheryl in the middle of renal failure, having kidder now alysis

multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day, I can still detect

the Prince's presence here. Yes, better fill a power. Spending a lot

of time at the cancer center lately, going through tests after test, imaging

prints. I'm telling your brother, blood withdrawals, all kind of things going

on that you can still say to this church, I feel the presence up

to Prince. I want to ask you why I was John leaning upon the

booths of the Cheesus for the same reason we do. I do not see

church as a crunch, but I do see it as an opportunity for assistance.

As I come to the House of comment, I can read her,

Oh Jesus, I love reading on the everlusting arms. It does not matter

of my surroundings and what is coming over in this world. We can take

intonsideration where events. We can look at the current political administration of this country,

and we can steal to take the presence of the Prince in this time

that we're liveing in. It may be the time of the coming of the

Lord. It may be like the days of Noah, It may be like

the days of law that I want you to know it is our privilege.

And such times as theser to still qeel the presence of the Prince, oh

city, I say, I'm telling you talk to the value or staying close

to Jesus. Say no, sir, no, Now, I am not

interested in shutting our pariser and turning in locks up to the lock position him

on his birthday. I'm for arresting him that celebrated on Christmas evil or Christmas

Day in the players that say for the princi because I'm never who I gotta

needed the other three hundreds that sixty thir days they got you here, I'm

gonna need the prayers. Perhaps John stayed close to Jesus because he believed in

the Lord, and he believed the words that the Lord spoke to them to

be true, and he fully trusted in the Savior's words. The Lord had

said some things would come and they would be alarming to his followers, and

he said, you're gonna be concerned. In fact, there's gonna be times

that you're gonna be troubled. But Jesus said, let not your heart be

troubled, neither let it be afraid. I began to look at this chapter,

and I Brother Holy Us nudged me to go back a chapter. And

as I kind of gazed through and looked through the thirty chapter of this book

of John, and that thirty chapter, Nathaniel, I found, brother the

words that Jesus spoke that would trouble anyone, from me to Brother Gabriel,

the brother Robert, the brother Danny. I mean, if we were in

the presence of the Prince and he was to speak words like he spoke to

his followers in the thirteenth chapter of John's Gospel, that would trouble anybody.

Firstly, I saw that Jesus told them that some are very close to them,

some that were very close to the inner circle of Jesus and his ministry,

they weren't betray him. How many of you know that's troubling for any

child of God to know there's somebody that's been near them, somebody that's been

in the presence of the Prince, somebody has been in those holdingast chance or

services, that they would decide to depict her from the bread of life,

that they would decide to depict her from the house of bread. Why to

a world would somebody do that would be a question or the mind of John.

Why would anybody leave the house of bread and go into the world strinten

with famine? Why people leave the house of Yeah, j'all would have asked

the question why. Perhaps if I lean upon the breast of Jesus long enough,

he will utter the answer to my questions. Perhaps if I could just

stay so close and be right there, I could gain understanding and I can

handle these situations that are forthcoming better. Oh, my God in heaven,

God's deal with me to preach to you all this morning. Pray for me

as I went to this thirteenth chapter of the Book of John. Secondly,

I saw that he notifies her his disciples that they will be leaving servant.

Is it that disturbing? Isn't that troubling? It would be very troubling for

me if sister Walker was to come up to me after church and don't do

this, mister Walker and say, Pastor God showed me the last night and

a dreamer and a vision that I will be making my departure soon. Those

are unnerving words. You know exactly just how piece peace wonderful pisa coming down

from the Father. About when you received notification of a dear love once departure.

Oh, come on, do you feel what I feel? I know

the songwriters singer. Do you hear what I hear? I'm telling you this

morning, I feel the presence of the Prince. I'm so glad they're this

service. I could feel this presence. So even though they received news that

they're about two moons, the one they've loved the most, they're about to

lose the one they've made that commitment for with nobody else understood why they went

with Jesus. He's told them, I am believing you now looked up the

definition on a word of piece freedom from disturbance and tranquility. Do you feel

like that was a tranquil moment to Rother Caleb whenever Jesus said personally, some

shot betray me. But that's not all I'm going to leave you. Oh

come on now, I know it's Sunday morning and we're just to waken our

play and ray Kate shouting until Sunday night. That's what so many holiness and

can a custom people be leave. We've got the keeper to shout Dacca until

Sunday night that we ought to be shouting with the promise or piece has been

giving us at this spighter what's going on there in the world. The Loyd

is trying after pizza, but they cannot find it because of Rome, and

we can do it, they will never find it. There is the piece,

there is the master for the transgressor. But this I could say,

I feel the peace that counsel for the presence of the Prince. I said,

I feel the piece of the culture for the presence of the peace,

the peace of the I feel the peace that comes from the presence of the

Prince. I knew when God gave that to me that'd be a tone twisting.

I can feel that peace. I remember when Brother Philip first received his

diagnosis and they told us that they believed the cancer was malignant. Now that

belignant scene was very concerning. We didn't run around in the corners of that

imaging center. Brother would and say, well, praise the Lord, thank

you Jesus. I know everybody wants to feel that spiritual you know, when

the Holy Ghost's movement, But when reality sinks in and you find your still

standing there looking at test results and Sister Harrison, I drove by years of

Brother Dwayne's house the other day, just off a Joe Boulevard and I saw

in a company there delivering some kind of medical equipment to your house. That

is not exactly a peaceful situation for a pastor to know one of his parishioners

is in there right now having to get a new piece of equipment, or

have a piece of equipment exchange, or have something done. Maybe something was

being brought to make things better, but you just don't like seeing these things.

Got to stay at her. Sometimes as a pastor, I've had to

walk up on traffic accidents that There was one time that I had to walk

up on the scene where a man had a gun in his mouth and had

to stand there alongside of sheriff the deputies that I think even the sheriff himself

was there. I didn't know him at the time, and we stood out

there for about two hours trying to negotiate with that young man and tell him

to pull the gun out of his mouth. The only thing I had on

my side us the presence of the Prince. I shed. It was very

troubling. I remember hearing my wife and children talk later and said some of

the worst hours of their life was sitting in that vehicle waiting to see what

happened. They thought for sure, if he would shoot himself, he was

shooting the pastor the Sherpa or the dipties. You know what, even though

the presence of the Prince was present, he still pulled the trigger. I

still sulling, praul, Oh, my God in Heaven that I can say

that the Prince was present in that awful situation. I know this isn't a

shouting sermon this morning. Then it'll help you shout the next time you're in

a store and the sea is child till I have a shout, knowing that

Jesus may see cod Jesus may be a sleep on a pillow. That I'm

telling you. If you've got the princess of the princes who got to see

Rod, they're not the waves locker at the side of the boat, not

the boat itself. So rem to the waves that I let you to know

her. Jesus never surrenders her to the store, I said, Jesus said,

never bis her to the waves. Jesus will see to it that she

make it seaplet to her other side. There your s too, will All

that mays is he is not the prince. He's in the bather as a

princess in a cancer center or a princes he's in the polcer where the princier

is in your house when the princess because in God's house. That's all that

matters, is that I can hear the presensor for the prince. I hed

your pardon, I'm whil your breath. Thank you Jesus. The third thing

that I found in that thirteenth chapter that alarmed me or concerned me was he

said some things to Peter that would have troubled anyone, including ourselves. I

mean, I look up to brother Peter. John could say, and he

just said that about brother Peter. And the words that he said was like

this, Andrew. What he said to your brother was Satan hath desired to

have here? Andrew, did you hear I'll stay close enough to Jesus that

I could hear of a front peace sitter. That's what John could say.

In fact, John would say, actually, no, I'm one that leans

upon his bosom. Lean up right here, brother Jonathan. Could John imagine

the equivalent of that today? You see John, just lean right up there,

look at me. Could you imagine everybody else is in the church Somemmer

leaned up against the back wall. Somers trave on the window cast. Some

are in and out the door, some are on the front view, some

are in the weft corner, and some are in the right corner. Son's

in the front corners. But where would you find good? He find him

right there. He's listening. He wants to understand all the watch and the

lies and the winds. The Jesus We'll not provided answer. The only promise

that he's given is I will be with you. I will go with you

who will feel my presence every step of the way. Praise of Lord.

If we were to have church this morning, and Jesus would have been involved

in his earthly ministry at this day and age, it would be sing a

God that he'd be visiting this morning, the trobably bitch tall church. Right.

I know that we wouldn't necessarily believe in the resurrection of Jesus. We

would have four understanding of that. But there were a lot of gentle people

that had converted to judae Ism that were in fact worshiping Jehovah. Jesus was

to come into this synagogue where we believed a preach and promoted judae Ism.

He would come in and you would find John not letting there be very much

distance between him and the shepherd. I'm telling you, the wolf knows how

to pick off those that allow the greatest distance between them and the shepherd.

And so John could tell everybody the title of the ceremony, preach, and

he could tell everybody the words that Jesus spoke. How do you know that?

Because Jesus picked him to write one of the most beautiful gospels. How

mean he had a written record, He was a note taker. But what

better person appeared the Fourth Gospel than John who had been righted there I witness

somebody that had been an ear towards every word that the Master had said.

And this Saint John is telling other disciples. Did you hear what he said

to Peter? Satan's got a target on your back, Peter, I pair

ofpraiser. Satan desires to have you. Do you know why Lucifer willing Peter

because he wanted a hijacker, that preacher of petere Costa that would feel the

prisons up of the prince in an upper room and preacher and thousands be saved.

Oh yes, there's nobody in this spinning except from the hijacking of Lucifer.

But by the crasa a cad, I said, by a crasa,

and then goodness and Tod and the presence of the Prince. You can,

if you can appear that spiritual hijack A Yes you can, Yes you can.

He said something to Peter that would have troubled me. The trouble sister,

would there what a troubled brother stare it? It would have troubles sister

Walker, sister Howell on that ride home, on that camel Ter leaned over

and said, Jeremy, did you hear what he said to you? Oh?

That's your trouble. Imagine being present that day and here in Jesus save

Peter. Satan desires to have you. Not one of his stemps, not

one of them angelic dim beings that fell out of the glory world with Lucifer,

but Lucifer himself. Even though he's on a leash, You're gonna beat

his target. Those are troubling words. Notice how this first chapter began.

Look at the first verse at John fourteen and one that said, let not

your heart be troubled. He believe in God, believe also in me,

who is Jesus speaking to you. He's not speaking to those that hated him.

He's not speaking to those that would not follow him. He's not preaching

this to the sand h He's not preaching us to the publican sinners that are

too publican, dissenters that are too busy for him. He is preaching this

to people that follow him. A will believe he's preaching it to us.

These words are written in a red It's for us to get a whole love.

Let not your heart be trouble, sister Cheryl, Let not your heart

be trouble. Bellow villam Let not your heart be trouble, Brother Danny,

he believe in God leave also. Indeed, a person who's heart his trouble

needs to put their trust in the Lord. I said, a person who's

heart his trouble can only put their trust in the Lord. We just read

the first versa of the fourteenth chapter of the Book of John. Now,

let's read the first versa of the fourteenth chapter of the Book of Job.

So, yeah, John fourteen and one saying that your heart be trouble,

Now, Joe, But fourteen and one goes like this, my brother,

ready, that's a context of virus. This morning, it reads a man

that is born of woman is a few days said and pulling the trouble.

That is right, vice man, but a creator that the vice man is

here. And he said through this writer that he's a present help in the

day of trouble. I said, you can feel the president of the Prince

in the day of trouble from the earth, even man and be carried and

trolled in the sea. You can steal her feel the presidence of the Prince.

Let me ask you a question. Do you think that that verse Joe

fourteen and one is a prophetic verse? I never did think that until God

began to deal with me about what I'm preaching on this morning. It is

emphatically, without a doubt, a prophetic verse. And it was fully fulfilled

by the life and earthly ministry of Jesus Christ. I see fulfillment in it

this way. Firstly, he was born of a woman. He was born

of a virgin woman. You know the story. Say amen. Secondly,

I see it fulfilled him. He was a man of few days. He

lived to be thirty three and a half years old. And thirdly, I

see it fulfilled in this His life was filled with trouble. I'm telling you,

if you feel like your life there's one full of trouble, you have

never walked about in Jesus. Sue ever, you've never slipped on the sandals

hunt Jesus. The Bible said, it came unto his own, and his

own received him naught, but to them that gave him reception in our parent

ways. He to them he called to be the son of God, the

power to be the Son of God, his hours disported. If you want

the Prince in your life, you can have the Prince, and you can

feel this present with you every day of your life. My brother read our

co text a little while ago. The Christmas story the birth of Jesus is

found in that second chapter of Saint Luke Gospel. After reading this written record

regarding the time when the god Man was born, I don't believe it was

a peaceful occasion. I loved that song Silent Night. When I was taking

piano lessons many many years ago, probably twenty something years ago, one of

the first songs I learned was Silent Night, Holy Night. Well, I

knew enough about livestock, stables, angels, feeding troughs, and cattle to

know that the lyrics of that song were inaccurate. There is no way that

it was silent. Brother Robert, in a little town called bethela hell,

there is no way it was silent in that stable. Brother Jeremiah and I

looked up why they wrote to the lyrics of that song, and they were

trying to encourage themselves in Germany in one of them little chapels one night because

their organ broke mitz irvists and so Brother Wood, they'd done something that Christian

people didn't normally do. They began to sing a cappella without any music car

instruments playing in the background, and so they just said silent night. That

just wasn't as loud as it had normally been. Anybody that was affiliated with

Bethel hole in his church, you know that we like it loud. We

liked the preaching, the teaching, the singing, the playing, that owning

the party, and we like it loud. Oh yes, there's nothing golden

about silence around here. We love to offer praise to our prince. I'm

telling you. Before him was a my house, I said, the for

him was a married house. It was not silent. There was nobody dignified.

There was no princher being dignified that thing, no principle, the Romans

being deegnified that day, and the Principle being like Joseph be indignified that day.

It was a worship service, I said, it was a worshiped service.

Just sky it up and the angel a pr say the shepherd. So

they got mother. I said, let's go see. Let's go own there,

repas of the Jus. A toy is a taser. That's the Christmas,

isn't the air? I said, the spirit Christmas there, he'll a

holy ghost in this place. The birth of Christ and the birthplace of Christ

was not conducive for silence. There is no way that anybody will ever convince

me that all the creation stood still. There's no way. There's just too

many natural occurrences and happenings involved in the ministry of the life of Jesus Christ

to know that Jesus didn't demand total silence everywhere he went. In fact,

one time he told a group of worshippers, if you stopped that crying out

child, the rocks are going to cry. Mom and Dad were refusing to

worship, and the children knew that the prisons of the Prince was there.

They knew Brother cal Theys having a roadside revival. They knew he began his

descent out of the matter of olives that was going into Jerusalem. The prince

was, I'm telling you, the Prince was that I believe in the trying

in Godhead. I believe in God, the Father, God the Son,

and God the Hordi ghosts. And I am not afraid to address Jesus,

my Savior, mymicide, my King, as wonderful as counselor as question of

prince of peace. It is my honor and my privilege to address him as

Prince of peace. Yes, he's King of kings and Lord of lords,

but he's also that dess a prince that brings us peace in the mister Chaos,

a Christis and calamity, he is still Christ, I said, he

is Christ. No matter what the all know, Nathan or your little baby,

baby Ruth is here this morning. She's a week old today. Let

me ask you a question, Brother Nathaniel. What's her labor and delivery?

But it's hard to do that peacefully when this natural thing called labor and delivery

is in process. I I want to ask you a question. The same

God that covered the cursed women with a curse of heart labor in childbirth,

do you think he made Mary not suffer? No, he couldn't. If

you don't get a hold of that, she could have had a labor and

been rippriment with seatless and paintless. I said, it must not seeing us,

and it must not paint green head. And see how the labor and

they were just like cooking anybody else there, rocking, she rowed, ucking,

remember when I was suffering with that large kidney stone, and I've been pukeing

over the sink, vomiting. I thought I was gonna pass out and die.

And I take pain pretty good, Sister Hall I'll tell you I have

a high tolerance to pain. Brother natanas, he said, Jeremy, you're

turning gray. You turning green. We probably ought to go to the hospital,

and for the sake of my family, I went to the hospital and

we were headed to the gast Coast Town Center and somewhere from your colonial drive.

Brother, would the holy ghosts come down on me? And he said,

I have overshadowed you. I said, that's enough right there to know

that you are with me and that I'm walking in your shadow, that I'm

suffering in your shadow. That I'm by your side, my cat in heaven.

Peter and Charlot, they suffered for a gospel safe, Polly cart suffering

for the gospel safe. When I want you to know they did not suffer

alone. When they took that crossing and turning up and summing upside down,

Peter could say, I steal Peter Good, Parsens or the Prince. He

told me, what doesn't matter what happens to me, because he's with me.

Peter said, promise me he was with me. He's with us. That's

God is with us, whether we fill it or not, he is with

us. He's a very present help in that day of trouble, in that

life of trouble, in that winter season of trouble, in that time of

calamity. He is president. Should I keep preaching or shut it down?

We all have some things we need to do. But I want you another,

sister, Rachel, Your labor was not easy. It was not easy.

If Sarah of Old had to suffer, you had to suffer, if

Sarah Old had to suffer, Mary the mother Jesus had to suffer. She

was born what time at night? Ruth? Baby Ruth was born at eleven

thirty at night. I said, she was born at night. Listen to

me. It was not calm in there. It was calm in the atrium.

It was calm in the parking lot. It was calm at the security

desk. But behind him closed doors, trouble was on. I said,

trouble was on, but was trouble worth It was waiting worth it. I

in that labor and delivery room it was anything but tranquois. I kept hearing

with nearly five hundred people. Glory bit of Jesus. But I've got to

look it up, this word tranquois, and it meant free from disturbance or

alarm. Free from disturbance. Billa Nathaniel wasn't walking around there on his tiptoes

with his fingers touching each other, saying, I'm in here enjoying the tranquil

beauty of this rose garden. No, Sister how and I were out there

in the atrium enjoying the beauty of that tranquis rose garden and waterfowl and all

of that. But Brother Nathaniel and Sister Rachel was smack dab in the middle

of it. And that's what I want to remind this church family. Off.

You might not be in the middle of it, not now. But

Jesus was telling him, who you be time your supper in the midst Let

watch your heart beat trouble neither let it be afraid. Who thanks? And

Mary the mother Jesus was saying to her husband Joseph, between labor contractions.

Joseph, Honey, I'm so enjoying the fravorance of the stable. I've truly

enjoyed the tranquil beauty of this Abel and manger. What is that camen there?

What is that? I mean? It's not a beautiful environment. It's

not exactly conducive for the birthplace of the Christchild, the son of God,

the one who spoke the very universe into existence. This isn't exactly where you

I never would have thought her it would have come near this. Oh come

less than twenty minutes later had a baby. I could tell you, boy,

after whatsing my wife bring for a six and losing a couple son.

You definitely waited til the last minute, brother Robert, he said, he

walked into the hospital, into the emergency room with sister Lee is just loving

Jesus, just like you know. John was up on the buzzom and Jeremiah

said, why did you do this to way? So I guarantee you you

wait till the last twenty minutes. There's no time for his final tap,

there's no time for epidural, there's no time for nothing. And then brother

Jeremiah wheeled her in there and they said, you ain't even got time to

go to the labor and deliver unit. You gone straight into labor right now.

Hold this little makeshift caught right here in treosh. My god, sweet

lord, oh God. The only thing better than that we have on one

in the car. You can't beat that didn't even get go upstairs and anything

didn't have the pretty room. Well, Sister Lee, I'm sure as an

evangelist and a pastor daughter all their mears, you never thought that was not

I'd be down there in South Florida with a crazy redneck husband getting me here

twenty minutes until my baby is born. This guy's so prepared he's such a

planner, he's always so careful. But things happened that we never anticipated to

happen, or we never expected. I mean, Brother Jeremiah's the kind of

guy gets to the airport two to three hours earlier, and I tell him

this is a little makeshift airport. Brother Jeremiah, you can get three security

in five minutes. But he's still there two hours early. But he did

not anticipate such a quick labor and delivery. He didn't plan for that that

when Leah says, I'm in labor issues in a laborer, Brother Jeremiah,

I would allowed to have been there. I'm usually there because y'all usually give

me enough time. I would allowed to have been there to see Brother Jeremiah's

expression when the doctor said, ma'am, if you push right now, the

baby's gonna be here. Hold type just twelve minutes. We gotta get some

things down here. We gotta get prepared. It's fixing that happen. We

can't, will you upstare? I would allowed to have seen the look of

concern on Brother Jeremiah's face, like, oh no, I'm sure it wasn't

peace Like a charismatic worship service which she'll wipe her hands. Why or oh

peace. I'm sure nobody was putting fingertips to fingertips and say we bring you

the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. It was probably a

wringing other hands and saying, Oh no, Jesus, I need you to

help me. Jesus, I need you to help me. Am I wrong,

brother Jeremiah, sister lendahs from Jesus. I need you to help me.

Oh come on, I'm telling you, Jesus will help you. And

the night that our saenor Lord Jesus was foreigner, it was anything but a

about two thousand people that's now overflowed. Who knows how many people are present.

Hey, I know what it's like to try to get into a church

where there's a packed house that try to find a few. Could you imagine

Mary talking to Joseph and saying, while she's riding on the back of that

donkey, I need to get their hurry up, Joseph, somethings are happening,

and he's saying, Mary, to get us there. Hold on.

These people ain't even using their bleinkers. They ain't even a bleaker on any

camel or mule in here. I'm talking about pressure on the streets and pressure

on the road being bombarded this cecily by merchants. That represents gifts of hell.

You can being on good grade to the destination of the creative he being

in your life, the promise being for field, have time, your soul

being instant listed titans incessantly and taunted, and my listed by temples. I'm

telling you that Taylor's trying to find us here this morning. Look up,

Prince, her piece is present, Brother Philip, were you able to rest

at all at the cancer center, Sister Cheryl, were you able to rest

at all in the hospital? Timing again, timing again, No, sir,

said, they came in my all hours of the night. He said,

I didn't see how nor hair of them during the day, but during the

night shift they came. I saund just left the devil, doesn't it?

Little boy, little girl teenager? Preaching all ages and walk to the life

here this morning. It's time to go to bed now, you see in

the Bogerman it's time to go to bed now. Somebody's standing by your window.

Oh my God and Heaven help me preach to the little ones just for

a moment. Lord, it's a madhouse at school. Peer pressure, people

picking on you because of your standard, because of your walk of life,

your manner of life, your good behaviors and attitude. And they're picking on

you. But you know what, You can walk down the hallway of that

school or that shopping center and say, I know who is living inside of

me? How was the pre marian Joseph? That night and the next few

days, shepherds were coming and going, wise men were coming and going,

and even heerit's men are trying to locate Jesus. The first couple of years,

it's people coming and going. They're wreaking havoca on every head. Imagine

with me, Joseph and marriage, just wanting a moment's pisa and then a

donkey brazer. He's chewing on biser. It's the middling daughter. The candles

burned out, and the caddle and lowering. And she said, Joseph,

I would have never thought her he had come to this. But then she

said, my, the prince is here. I said, my good prince

is pill. You might not be wearing a pair of four sounds for Stacy

Adams, but if you could say the Prince is here, oh Jesus,

as the cattle are lowing, as the donkeys are braiding. The Prince was

present. She could look at Joseph and say, the Lord led me into

this man swing lamb of God. Jesus didn't even have to be born as

a baby, and he could say, Father, you're desiring just for me

to be clothed, was swamping clothes and to lay myself in the main tree.

The streets in the hotels of Bethlehem are filled because of the census.

But the Prince of Peace was present. He was there during time time from

the promise to marriage, until she held the promise in her arms. He

was there. I hope this morning you have a better understanding and a better

mental picture of exactly what took place between the promise and the fruition. There

was anything but a better roses Man that is born of woman is a few

days and full of trouble. And in the night before his crucifixion, Jesus

has had some more bad news. Sometimes we get bad reports one right after

another. When we suppose things are gonna improve and they're gonna get better,

we get more bad news. The night was Where's crucifixion. Jesus said,

guys, I have some more bad news. I'm leaving. But the good

news is the Holy Vers is coming, and with him this peace. I

saw peace come upon widows in this building when they lost their husbands. I've

seen peace come upon widowers who used to be in this building but they're gone

to be the Lord when they lost their wives. I've saw peace come into

new and natal intensive care units. It should not have been available or attainable,

but somehow it was present. That's because Brother Nathaniel, somebody walked in

with us and stood with us as we stood with Jeptha. Is that mighty

manner valor made his cross. I remember I'd spent all day and all night

with Brother Nathaniel. Sister Rachel was very tired of body. I told sister

how I said, honey, let's go. Let's go get some breast.

Walked down through all the security, all the closed doors, had them release,

got into the atrium, which is a big area. Just as I

felt freedom and peace if you would, from what was behind closed doors,

felt comfort in peace, from just being released from the pressure, just because

of distance from it. Brother Jesse Kamarra tapped me on the shoulder in five

seconds. And as I walked through that a trim hold my wife's hand,

I hurt something and felt something that felt like a tap on the shoulder.

Then I turned and Sister how, I can testify that this is true,

And I said, honey, Jesus just said to sit down right here,

because Thethanie and Rachel are going to need you now. When we left,

Jeffa was stable, he was in good condition. He was in good hens.

We had already thanked the Lord for him being with us. And I

told Sister How, I said, honey, let's sit down. So we

sat down. It wasn't but about one minute later am I telling that right,

Sister how Brother Nathaniel texted me. He said, Dad, they're asking

us to go to Jesus rind And God said, this is why I told

you to sit down and waiting. I buzzed in and nurses came open to

security doors. We got down the hallway and just as we're making our crossing

through an intersection in the corridor there brother the thing was sister Rachel the first

born son Lion and Ada headed to his crib. At that intersection, we

perfectly met. We went together to his bedside, and there we watched him

make the crossing. He crossed Chili and Jordan. But there was a peace

that was present by the Nathaniel in that madhouse that them neo natal nurses couldn't

understand. After an hour and a half of visiting with our precious love,

when that had made the cross of sister how and I had to leave.

He turned to walk down the hall in an opposite direction that we had went

to go there, and this lady come running under the room and she said,

Sir, sir, is that your son in there? Said? It

is? Is that your daughter in law? It is? She said,

I have been doing this for twenty something years. I have never seen a

more mature couple, the more mature parents. I have never seen anybody handle

a situation like this in the manner that y'all have handled it. She said,

there's such a powerful presence of peace, Brother Jesse. It wasn't that

inside there wasn't turmoil. It wasn't that there wasn't concern or worry, or

our hearts were broken, our hearts were crushed. But somehow, just as

things begin to crumble to pieces, there was somebody catching the pieces. I

filled the hole that goes to habit in our house. And what he let

us know, Brother Nathaniel. It may be broken in pieces, but the

master of the puzzle as in every piece, and gyptis on the other side

with the princip peace. When gyptis waiting on the next one of us to

meet him. There, I'm got to say, for anybody to wish death

or request death, I'm trying to tell you Jesus said peace. I leave

with you my peace. I give unto you, not as the world giveth,

give up unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let

it be afraid. Did we cry, Yes, but we did not sorrow

to those who have no hope. Brother Jesse, would you come to the

piano this morning. This is my desired reaction that you would since what I've

felt over the last day and a half. I remember when Jeremiah was being

born, our first son. It got stuck in the birth cannal. The

doctor hollered out the door of Sister Howell's labor delivery room. He said,

get me in two more doctors. We're gonna lose this baby if something doesn't

happen. I remember my world started spinning I remember almost passing out, and

I remember thinking my life has changed in a moment, not for the better

of it, for the worse. We were expecting something wonderful and now here

they're telling us we're gonna lose it. I remember the doctor saying, if

you want to be present here in the birth of this child, you better

go to this room right here and suit up. He said, I don't

know to let people go in, but I'll let you go in, he

said, especially not in the situations like this. This is an emergency.

We're gonna be running and we're gonna be ripping, he said, So you

need to get ready quickly. And Brother Roquep, I remember talking in that

little clauset where the scrubs were, and I put them on and start scrubbing

my hands and put on the hair and net. I fell on my knees.

I'm talking about trouble, like John, Jesus, just let me lean

on your shoulder. I need to lean on every last week, I remember

just falling my clips and I said, God, according to what that man

just said, I'm going to lose my baby and my wife. And so

here's what I said. I pray this every day. I said God,

this thing began with you and me. If it's going to end with you

and me, I still love you, but I'd love for you to help

him. And I stood up, and the power of God come on me

after such great sorrow and travail and brokenness in that circumstance. And I started

walking down the hall, and the song was called Healy came to buy and

the one he loved to sing, Oh yes, oh yes, I'm a

child other king. What does that make me a prince? The Bible said

that we're joint errors with Jesus. That makes you all princes and princesses again

by definition peace, this freedom from disturbance and tranquility. As I walked through

those double doors and it swing open, and I looked at that steamless steel

clown operating room, looked at that surgical team of ten and brother Philip.

I saw the resuscitation team there not for only the baby, but for your

mother. And I saw three doctors. One had come from the help hospital

across the street, the government hospital, because of the dire situation we were

in. Doctor Insino. I thought, what's Doctrine Sino doing here? That's

how critical it was. As an anesthesiologist leaned over Sister Howell's head because they

were hitting them with so much anothesion. Because of the situation right there at

her nose. I took my head right here by the anesthesiologist's head, and

I sang, I have somebody with them. To this day, I know

that that woman heard every near every word brother Robert without a saying I have

somebody with him. I remember that operating table rocking like a boat on the

ocean in a storm. Because doctor Ralph Nobau and doctor Casina ripped my wife's

one open. They were in such a hurry that their scalpeld nick Brother Jeremiah

on the cheek bone. He was inverted. Brother Jeremiah bears in his body

to this day the mark of the incision. There was a mistake. I

didn't sue the doctors. I was just thankful after all, all of a

sudden done. I still have my wife and my baby. But I will

say this, Lord, you know what I told you in that closet.

I need you. I'm thankful you let me keep Sister Charity. I'm thankful

you let me keep brothers. You're Emiah, But Lord, I need you.

I told you that night on the Altar Lord in October of nineteen ninety

three, thirty years ago. Two months later, I still need you.

There's somebody in this building this morning. You need that state of tranquility.

The Prince's presence is here to help you this morning. Let's stand as we

bow our heads and close our eyes as there's somebody that would say, Preacher,

I'm not stressed out because I have to purchase still, I'm not concerned

because of this or that, but I do have concern. I do feel

somewhat disturbed, not mentally. I'm not saying you're going insane. I'm just

saying you need peace and you need rest. Would you raise your hand right

now, say I've just been in one storm at another one two, three,

four, five, six, second, eight nine. Let's just all

slip into altar somewhere and pray the Princess Princy. I just need the Prince.

The Prince of Peace was present. He was there all the time.

These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But

the comforter, which is the Holy goes who the Father will send it by

name. He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance.

Whatever I have said unto you, peace, I leave with you my

peace. I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I

unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

You have heard how I said unto you, I go away and come

and get unto you. If he loved me, you would rejoice because I

said I'd go into the Father. For my father is greater than that.

And now I have told you before it come to pass, that when it

comes to pass, you might believe. Hereafter I will not talk much with

you, for the prince of this world cometh and hath nothing in me but

Church. I want you to know we're talking about the prince of another world.

The Prince of another world is with us. Wonderful peace. Wonderful peace,
