To the Book of Isaiah. May I direct your attention to the forty eighth
-
chapter. We will be reading Versus number nine through eleven. Brother Nathaniel Daniel,
-
chapter number three, Versus number twenty through twenty five. Brother Jesse Hebrews,
-
Chapter number twelve, Verse number twenty nine. Brother Nathaniel Daniel, Chapter
-
number three, Verses twenty through twenty five. Will you read those, my
-
brother? He commanded the most spidy men that were in his army to buy
-
shadrack and meshack and a bent to go and to cast him into the burning
-
fiery furnace. Then these men were bounding their coats, they're hosting in their
-
hats, their other garments were cast into the midst of the burning firing furnace.
-
Therefore, because the king's commandments were urging the fire, the furnest exceeding
-
hot. The flames of the fire slew those men that took up shacked me,
-
shacking of Bendigo, and these three men shadracked me. Shacking of Bendigo,
-
fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Didn't e
-
Knezzar the king was a stone he and rose up in hastess and Spacon said,
-
unto his counselors, did not we cast three men bound into the midst
-
of the fire? They answered and said, under the King, true old
-
King. He answered and said, hello, I see for men loose walking
-
in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt. In the
-
form of the fourth is like the son of God. Phraise the Lord.
-
I would like to point your attention to the twentieth verse of that third chapter
-
of the Book of Daniel, and said that he commanded the most mighty men
-
that were in his army to bind Shadrack, me Shack and Abandigo, and
-
to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. I want to preach a message
-
the Holy Ghost titled the Burning Fiery Furnace, Brother Jess Hebrews, chapter number
-
twelve and verse number twenty nine. For our God is a consuming fire.
-
Our God is a consuming fire. Let's stand for the reading of our golden
-
text again. Isaiah chapter number forty eight, Verses number nine through eleven.
-
The Bible said, for my name's sake, will I defer myne anger,
-
and for my praise, will I refrain for thee that I cut thee not
-
off. Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver. I
-
have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction for mine own sake. Even for
-
mine own sake will I do it? For how should my name be polluted?
-
And I will not give my glory unto another. The Lord was allowing
-
Israel his people to survive and not be completely consumed or destroyed for his own
-
sake. We will be following a mental outline. It's a very short outline.
-
Two points for your good and for his glory. Let's pray, Heavenly
-
Father, we love it, We praise you. We thank you for the
-
opportunity to be in the house of the Lord. I thank you God for
-
the way that you have visited your people. You've made them happy in your
-
presence. You have blessed them as a king would lord his people. A
-
good king you are, and you have blessed your people wonderfully. I pray
-
that you would anoint this thy servant, said, a guard, have my
-
mouth, and help me to say the things that you would have me to
-
say, nothing more or less. Anoint the ears of this thy people,
-
that they might hear what it is the Spirit of God. Saith up to
-
this church, this party. I pray, let these words go below the
-
shoulders that I'm getting that heart, that soul, and that spirit also in
-
that mind above the shoulders. I prayed God that they would not be here's
-
only, but that they would heed the words and be doers. We thank
-
you for this place that we can gather in. We thank you for the
-
breath that we breathe. We thank you for your spirit that we feel will
-
give you the praise and the honor and the glory for everything you've done this
-
day. And may we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully in Jesus' name.
-
And the church says amen. Looking again. In verses number nine through
-
eleven, the Bible said, for my Name's sake, will I defer my
-
anger? And for my praise? Will I refrain for thee that I cut
-
thee not off. How many of you know the Bible said it is other
-
Lord's mercies that we are not consumed. There's been a lot of things said
-
over the last couple of weeks that have troubled my spirit as the pastor,
-
And it seems to me that the Lord has let us know that there are
-
some furnaces of affliction being prepared for some in this building. Verse number ten
-
said, behold, I have refined THEE, but not with silver. I
-
have chosen THEE in the furnace of affliction for my own sake. Even for
-
my own sake will I do it? For how should my name be polluted?
-
And I will not give my glory unto another. What the Lord is
-
saying right here is you are my people, and people are looking on and
-
how you do, and no matter what you do, I'm going to try
-
to do my very best to make the best I can out of you,
-
if you will allow me. Because people know you claim me to be your
-
God. People know what you have said, people know who you claim to
-
be. And the Lord was allowing Israel to survive and not be completely destroyed
-
for his own sake. That's what this is all about. It's for his
-
own glory. Our text is found in an Old Testament book of the Holy
-
Bible, the Book of Isaiah. The title of this book bears the name
-
of its author, the son of Amos, had a tremendous burden on his
-
heart for his people. Isaiah saw things that were forthcoming, things that troubled
-
his heart and mind, his people and his fellow Israelites had been nourished by
-
the Lord. They had been brought up under the wing of the Lord God
-
Almighty, known by name as Jehovah to his people. But for summer reason,
-
these people had rebelled against their God. In the first chapter of this
-
sacred writing, in the fourth verse, specifically, we read the following,
-
A sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers,
-
children that are corruptors. They have forsaken the Lord. They have provoked the
-
Holy One of Israel unto anger. They are gone away backward. They are
-
gone backward. If you will, they have backslived. Now remind us that
-
the vision of the prophet Isaiah was concerning pending judgment. Judgment was coming without
-
a doubt. The Lord is still angry with the wicked every day. The
-
Bible said that God does not change. It is impossible for the Lord to
-
lie. It is impossible for us to revise the words of God. If
-
anybody attempts to do so, if they remove a punctuation point or mark,
-
if they remove a comma or a period, they are going to face the
-
judgment of God for attempting to revise the word of God again. It is
-
only an attempt. They will never successfully revised the word of God. The
-
Bible is right, and many people are wrong. I don't want to be
-
a persecutor of truth. I want to be a promoter of truth. And
-
the prophet Isaiah was sent to preach to his people concerning judgment that was coming
-
upon the land of Judah and Israel. The judgment that he was preaching about
-
was not coming upon the Gentiles and the surrounding cities around this precious city.
-
The judgment that was coming upon the people that professed to be God fearing people.
-
The Bible said that judgment must begin firstly at the House of God,
-
and so judgment was coming upon Judah and Jerusalem. The israelied the descendants of
-
Abraham, the people that professed Jehovah to be their God, the people who
-
claimed to be the followers of Jehovah, people that profess the law of God,
-
which was called the Law of Moses. They believed the words, but
-
they did not keep them. They preached it, but they did not live
-
it. They did not walk the walk. They talked the talk. You
-
see, the Book of Isaiah is evidence enough to prove to each generation that
-
the Lord is not okay with immorl and idolatrous people, especially those who name
-
him as their Lord. What preacher, that's Old Testament theology right there.
-
We live in the age of Grace, so many preachers today tell their parishioners.
-
But friend, allow me to point you into the direction of the New
-
Covenant and the New Testament. Specifically, in the Book of Second Timothy,
-
the beloved apostle Paul speaking to his success Sir Timothy. In that writing in
-
the second chapter and the nineteenth verse, you can read, nevertheless, the
-
foundation of God stand ashore, having this seal. The Lord knoweth them that
-
are His, And let every work that nameth the name of Christ depart from
-
iniquity and not on said, if you read the Bible through and through,
-
you will see we still have much work to do. Again, if you
-
read the Bible through and through you as a believer or proclaimer of being a
-
Christian, you will admit that we still have much work to do. Look
-
at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, he's still working on me,
-
and he's still working on you too. Whether you like that or not.
-
Even those that do not profess to you Jesus to be the Lord.
-
Their soul still belongs to him. Even the atheist that tries to deny his
-
existence. Their soul still belongs to God, and his spirit still strives with
-
them. I'm telling you I thank God for the goodness and the grace of
-
God, despite our ingnorancia of His will, despite our ignorance of His plan
-
for our life. I want to preach to us a message this morning,
-
the Holy Guest title the Burning Fiery Fairness. There is a furnace for the
-
agnostic, There is a furnace for the atheist. There is a fairness for
-
the believer. There is a furnace for the followers up Jehovah or the Lord
-
and Savior Jesus Christ. And I thank God for every time any person in
-
any of those categories find themself in that furnace of a priction, whenever God
-
begins to prove himself under those people. And a great friend of mine goes
-
by the name brother Jonathan Robertson, and Brother Jonathan Robertson got saved her late
-
in life. He said, for many years he denied the existence of the
-
Lord God Almighty. But he said, at some point he realized her.
-
There had to be her, a divine hand that orchestrates every event, a
-
scenario of a life. But at some point he humbled himself to the possibility
-
that there could be a God, the reality of God and brother Jeering,
-
mind set on bending need, he prayed and said, God, if you're
-
out there, I want to accept you, I want to receive you.
-
I want to believe in you, and I ask you to receive me as
-
your child if what these creatures are saying is true. In the process of
-
time, after going through fairness after furnace, he has found himself to be
-
a lover of truth. He's found himself to be like Jobn, a righteous
-
man that is perfect in his generation. Young people, you can stay obstinate
-
to the plan and the workings of God and your life for as long as
-
you please. But I want you to know there's some things in your life
-
that you have made control over, and one of those things being the fairness
-
of a punching that God puts it in your path. I've seen the way
-
that Holy gainst Him has did with us, said who recently asked him.
-
The preachers have preached him, their messages have been sober. Last Sunday night.
-
But it Jesse said, it was my desire and intention and plan to
-
preach this people happy. But God had another plan. That preacher, I
-
want you to preach her. Whatever it is. God has asked you to
-
preach her, even if it means putting this congregation in a furnace every time
-
when come to church. We're not gonna shout that our praises of God.
-
That's gonna be sometimes that we get don't bend in need, and we confess
-
it that He is Lord and that we are not alive to his perfect will.
-
I don't know about you all that I want him to do whatever he
-
needs to do with our church family to make sure we remain in is prison,
-
to make sure we stay in the center of God's will. I want
-
to always know him as Father that I want to be identified as his child.
-
Have many in this building this morning that can save. It's been God
-
that has been good for you, not the spiritor for this world, and
-
has been God. Yes, for His stain's sake. You up in Brest
-
for his namesake. You have been protected for His saith's sake. You're not
-
concerned. You're in this precious house we call the house of God. He
-
calls her of his goodness. It's not of your work say that, it's
-
of his workings. It's the reds do it. And it's motherless in our
-
eyes. What's been going on around here? Pastor, I'll tell you what's
-
going on? The Lord has not some people old that the furnace awaits them.
-
There are people in this building that have already passed through the furnace,
-
and they are a vessel for the fighter now after passing through the furnace.
-
I remember when I first was converted. I was a believer in Jehovah and
-
Jesus Christ. But apparently I had believed an imitator. Apparently I had believed
-
in anti Christ, someone that did not fully promote or stand for the unadulterating
-
word of God. There are so many religious people today that do not stand
-
for or against for the things that Jesus has put in this blessed book.
-
But at some point I remember coming into contact with the God the Blessing Book,
-
and I took a copy of the King King King James translation into my
-
hand, and I begin to ingest every word and never believe these words were
-
speaking to me. If you never believe that he's speaking to you. You
-
will never hear hooly what it is he is saying to you, You will
-
never get come missing Chackson. He is speaking to you. The purpose of
-
the prophet, I'll say, wassa to sound their Lord into sion, to
-
let him know your passiveness will not be accepted the life see baysical attitude that
-
you had as your professor to need people of God. The paint that paksliding
-
me while you proclaim to be hearing from God is unacceptable. That it's intolicble
-
God. I'm not having put up with it. What I say or with
-
sayan is this judgment? Tell me is forthcoming for your patentness obedience and your
-
patent sin. Judgment is fair coming Heaven. Every believe we are, in
-
fact, without adopting most certainly, Oh yes, absolutely a judgment bound people.
-
We will stand before God. It's amazing how the conviction of an anointed
-
holy ghost field preacher can make us feel so uncomfortable and uneasy and unsettled.
-
But we never let the possibility of the appearance of Christ standing before him,
-
and him revealing himself and manifesting himself as the unnipotent One, the omnipotent One,
-
the Jestine. For some reason, that never chills our blood. For
-
some reason, a lot of people never consider that any further. They refuse
-
to allow that to go through their mind time and again. And this is
-
why we've got the preacher. He's preaching the same danger he's already preached her.
-
He's saying the same danger he's already said her. And you've got a
-
man like Isaiah who's preaching her through the range her fourteen for forty something years.
-
This prophet is telling people it's not gonna be good concerning you because of
-
your real plumb. They're transgressing her of the lawyer of God. I want
-
to pull a little harder, preacher for those who shall been trying to reach
-
her, and try to let him know you've better stop her before you enter
-
the furnace. You think this fine man, look in the moral will it
-
be when you're fighting yourself in the midst of the anger and their right and
-
their fearing love in Almighty God. For truly, it's a fearful thing to
-
fall into the heads of the living God. God could speak to people concerning
-
anything, whether it be to obey Him and serving him, and he'll speak
-
to them through a preacher, and through his word, he'll preach to them.
-
He'll speak to them, He'll open the pages of the Bible to them.
-
The wind will go through their vehicle and it'll ruffle the pages, and
-
that Bible that they haven't open their bunks will open to a certain passage,
-
and that passage will speak to them. What we thought was the natural wind
-
was actually the rustling of the wings of an angel of mercy that had come
-
up to that pea cross. God allows automobile abstinence. God allows natural collisions
-
with calamity in this life to change the order of your life. You feel
-
like you're in control. That I thank God that he is omnipotent. I
-
thank God that he is omniscient. That I know that the omnipotent, omniscient
-
God that I'm serving, he knows the way that you take. Joe said,
-
I'm now on the way that I'm taken her, and the Almighty God
-
knows the way that I take. But that's stopped there till does it no,
-
He said, when he has tried me, I shall come bare to
-
ask for I want you to know this did not take a tunisia in your
-
family. He said, not take a to levision in your mind. There
-
cons and an honor to stop you. Tras I have progout what God said.
-
Mare said, I will stop you then will tracks when you buy will
-
sap up and telip in a fearing of God Almighty, then will stop you
-
in your tracks. If you'll read the book, you will have to admit
-
very soon that God will change his people, and they will change for the
-
better. The vessel will be refined if it has not purified properly, it
-
will be crushed through the hammering of the Word of God. It will be
-
brought to a powder that can be used to be folded after its infused.
-
Will hydration of the Word of God. And that person against the washed himself
-
by the water of the Word. How many people in this building have been
-
washing your soul with the water of the Word. How many people have been
-
allowing Jesus to wash your so clean by his ruby red blood. I thank
-
God for the washing of the water of the Word, and I thank God
-
for the washing for that ruby red blood of Jesus that purifies us again.
-
You say, I know the way that I take. You're not really sure
-
about that. You feel like you are, But I want you to know
-
there are uncertainties in this life, and you do not know what tomorrow holds
-
them. That I do know who holds tomorrow, and I know what's in
-
his hand. It's not only the blessings of himself, but for someone it
-
is a furnace. Again, these hebrew men that I rather read about,
-
they found them suffer in the minister of the burning, fiery furnus. I
-
know we're gonna lock out of this store momentarily, and it dances some meating.
-
But if they'll tear you just a little water, let me give you
-
some meeting from a hide, a lifehood that can feeds a sword, just
-
a little wall. How it walks in the girl that Paul told Timothy,
-
and the probation of God stand as sure, and the child of God musty
-
politics from Nichol and other words. You've got to fatat to from the presence
-
of the evil doer. We've got to natate or evacuate from the presence of
-
road. Do it there? Yes, evil communitations come takes good manners.
-
If they've furn us, prepare for you. Some of you have been through
-
furnaces. How did you come out? Did you come out worse. Did
-
you come out more often? Did you come out making promises? I tell
-
you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna serve the Lord. I'm no longer
-
gonna kick against the Prince. After coming under the influence of the light that
-
it's brighter than the noonday sun. Did you retreat to darkness after coming out
-
of that furnace with that fight that was so blinding that it should have blinded
-
you to the things of this world, that the spirit of this world should
-
have no longer in tysia? Did you walk right baka into that black hole?
-
Did you go right baka into the poor may lifestyle? Did a conversation
-
change after you've been through the furnace? You see this Book of isaa it's
-
literally like a many Bible. There's sixty six, so that represent the sixty
-
cents of books of the Bible. The first few chapters on the Book of
-
Isaiah represent the Old Testament in number chapter the verse I'm telling you represents the
-
Old Testament. And then the latter part of the Book of Isaaia it represents
-
the New Testament. Literally chapter the book and Brother Jesse, it's a message
-
of hope I heard what brother Jesse said. I heard what brother Philip said.
-
I heard what brother Nathaniel said. It's very sobery. I love sleep
-
over it. I want you to know if you don't allow this furnace that
-
you're knowing through, I am not to go through to change your Ultimately you
-
will be destroyed. I remember my best friend, he had three rents back
-
to Bacca. After the second one a backslaughter with to him, it said
-
Michael Pergo shepting. God's trying to get kid said he you matter listen to
-
help what he ready? I said, he I wants it now. Unless
-
God back to him, he's in the furnace with a fire that cannot be
-
quits. Today started out a little fender bender, a little nudgeon of the
-
Holy Ghost, A little nudgeon. Come here, brother, just see.
-
I don't want to dishonor you or make you upset. I think you're safetified
-
enough to know. But when we're daydreaming and we're beering off course and we're
-
just in law I live, and we're not taking things seriously, God will
-
come and give us a nudge. And you know what, when we get
-
that nudge, we're supposed to look at the Lord apostle Paul Knu that nudging
-
was a calling to no longer be Christianity's persecutor with Christianity's greatest promoter. But
-
God got pastor the nudging of giving him a heavenly vision or an encouraging word
-
after death, or the marvedum of Stephen. I mean the angels appeared to
-
Stephen, the son of God is standing at the right hand of the Father.
-
You could hear the angela choir proma see it from just the appearance of
-
Stephen. But it was not enough to turn Palm, who would be known
-
as Paul with the Bible said when he went on his own way, Yes,
-
God knows her the way that you take, but you're gonna be tried.
-
And whenever he was over his road to the Nascus, there appeared a
-
son that was not the issue in there appeared an s ow end. It's
-
the same sun shine. That shoulder is a farming on this south. Never
-
come messing. It was no long your head a no trump. But if
-
God press a Paul her off of his high horizon, he found himself.
-
He's lowering her. Only don't well it, don't get don't lock you right
-
up, proud. They don't knock you for not against us. They don't
-
knock you for the offt guess that he is messing Will? Who are you?
-
Lord? Paula didnified him mouse, He knew all on, he knew
-
all on. And Jesus said, it's hard for you to kick against the
-
preach. The way of the transgression is hard. You're going through service at
-
the service you'd being preached to. You'd be a ministered to, unless you're
-
a twisted freak. That should bother you. If we like that, it
-
ain't nothing to try for Will, if you like it, they don't fucking
-
up wave not good God treating cherosy, and like you in Hell, he's
-
not dead, he's dead in this life. Well, he's very much alive
-
in hell. The Bible said there was a rich man, and I believe
-
modern historians said he was called Doctrophies. There was a rich man that fared
-
sumptiously every day. I got Facebook, I got social media. I'm rich.
-
I'm increased with goods, and I have need of nothing. There's no
-
knowledge being with hell from me, for I frequent the world wild, well,
-
I frequent the world wild. Well, I'm rich you see, and
-
the Bible said to tad Man he died, and last Reus also the beggar,
-
he died after the dawn had licked the swords of the beggar, and
-
after the servants had tampered the prince for the jesse. They both die and
-
walk into eternity. The poor man gets evacuated from torment via or via angelic
-
beings, and they carry him away into Abraham's bosom to be in the prayersence
-
of the Lord because he's absent in body. But the rich man, after
-
he winces from whatever pain that was upon him, from whatever happened, after
-
he winces in that horrible pain, when he opens up his eyes, when
-
he lifts up his eyes, he is in hell and he is a torment
-
soul. Yes, we can thank God that we did not die in that
-
automobile that was in Gulta in planes. That's because Jesus was there. Yes,
-
we can testify her that we did not die in the midst of that
-
trial, can tens her because Jesus her who was there of her. But
-
I want somebody else to know that there can come something taking place in your
-
life that you cannot evacuate. Problem that there is no escape their here.
-
Oh God, have been a preached to them this morning the way you would
-
have been to preach to them, Lord, your person, your man,
-
your woman. You do not realize you can't take care that's gone place her
-
a worry for I call you don't want to go there? I say,
-
you walked through the land of Judah for forty yours. He knew something others
-
did not understand. He had a hold of something that had apprehended him,
-
and he could not pride to get a hold of it. That's what Apostle
-
Paul said. I'm trying to apprehend that was after end of me. I'm
-
trying to get a hold of this, and that's what I'm doing as your
-
beloved pastor this morning. I'm trying to get a hold of this and help
-
you better understand that Brother Philip preats us this past Sunday night. He said,
-
when God leaves you, that brother Nathaniel preach Wednesday night, he's gone.
-
Do you know every atheist will get their wish would they end up in
-
hell? And every atheist that wish that he did not exist, that hope
-
He was not divide orchestrator of the world. They will get their wish just
-
as they desired. The Bible said, God gives us the desires our hearts.
-
That God is not real. You might fantasize that hell it's not real,
-
But I want you to know the real reality of it is. It
-
is real, and He is real. And yet again there's another preacher preaching
-
of churchman that's forthcoming. You hoped by yourself, how of that might have
-
had no common Lest keep me put in that burning, tiring furnace. The
-
Lord is not okay with the morality and ichnowlatrous practices or people, especially those
-
who name him as their lord. Well, I serve the Lord. I
-
got baptized when I was eight, and I haven't been to church since.
-
But my name's been on the road down there at McGregor, First Baptist of
-
Punta Gordon. I don't even know such a church exists. I'm just throwing
-
something out there. You mean your name's been on there since you were eight
-
years of age and you got a baptismal difficult, But you haven't darkened the
-
doors of God's house since then. Our Christ is such an experience as a
-
preacher. That's Old Testament theology. I'm God. I belong to God.
-
God's gonna take care of me. God didn't even like that theology. According
-
to what Isaiah preached, the foundation of God stand ashore and the righteous with
-
apart from iniquity. I want you to look at your neighbors, say again,
-
hey, neighbor, is he still working on you? Is he working
-
on you? While Pastor's preaching the blacksmith creates things from wrought iron. How
-
many of you are familiar with something called blacksmithing. My wife and I we
-
like to go to Pitching Forge to the sea, and in that particular downtown
-
district there is a place where mere mortal men are blacksmithing. There's blacksmiths in
-
there. Every time I go to Pitching Forge, I want to visit the
-
smithy, so some call it the smithy or the blacksmith shop. And Brother
-
Jesse, because I'm a preacher and I know how hard it is sometimes to
-
forge people's life and to mourn them as that instrument of that tool in the
-
hand of God. Sometimes I feel, even though I'm immortal, as the
-
hammer in the hand of God, that hammer that break into the rocks in
-
pieces, that hammer that speaks the word of God, that annoyty that comes
-
from the Holy One, that destroys the yokes of sin and bondage. That
-
I know, sister Howl, the frailty of myself, I know, I
-
know that I'm unable to do it without the empowerment of the Lord. And
-
so I go in there and I'm watching, observe the ways and the tools
-
of the blacksmith, smell the aroma of the smithy in all real lives.
-
The most impudent part of the botsmith's shopper or the smithys the furnace, and
-
what's insider about turns. I don't know the degree or the temperature of the
-
furnace. All the matters, because I know every fold gonna go through the
-
furnace. Everything that the Bossmilica intends to be better than the If what experience
-
and betterment will passer through the fire, the passer for the fire, we
-
will not be consumed if comfort is with us the smithy, the smithy.
-
Right now, young man, your shoulders are square, he chim's up.
-
You're bold, you're brazen, you're obstinate, and your goofy and you're goofy
-
and your volus. Right now, young woman, you're arrogance. It's laughable,
-
not only by God, but we're able to laugh over it because we
-
realize just how silly it is and how detrimental it is, Oh God,
-
to fall into the hands how the living God sho is sober you to realize
-
there is a fire in furnace that is not Brother Jeremiah heated just a little
-
bit, but it is heated to a degree that it will change your mental
-
makeup. Then it will break you down to him. It broke Apostle Paul
-
down. That light that he saw was coming from the heavenly smith. I
-
said that smithy that he went through, Brother E. J. Robinson immediately
-
cleared him of his arrogance, cleared him up his resistance. And God,
-
could you in a situation where you begged him for mercy and you plead for
-
him to have mercy. Oh you are never dying soul. Oh my God.
-
I've been bedside of people that were eating up by cancer. One man's
-
spine had been severed into by cancer. And Brother your mine, that should
-
have been a furnace enough to persuade him to plead with God for mercy.
-
Instead, he was cussing the doctors that did not find it in time.
-
Instead, he was cussing his family that he could not parent, and we're
-
not coming to see him. I said, sir, I'll look your soul,
-
and I'm in here to tell you. You're in no shape or situation
-
to curse anybody. He went on to curse God. I said, God,
-
we'll get the lost life, and you put me somewhere. Ain't that
-
God? Before you meet you? I want to believe that he heeded that
-
wise counsel. These preachers have been telling us if they think their premises of
-
your soul, these men have been telling the sun not come. We're just
-
say what my constant's training that I could bear. I don't care how many
-
preachers have lied to you, how many tell evangelists, how many megachurch pastors.
-
There's probably song listening the pastor big churches. I've been receiving reports that
-
men who have big devotionals Bible studies, that men the pastor sizable churches with
-
sizeable congregations have preached some of my messages. That's great, because they're not
-
mine. I've also received reports that they say some of my phrases, and
-
people know without a doubt they've been listening. That's fy. Uncle sum have
-
contacted me and asked me could they use the messages. They've asked me for
-
manuscripts, transcripts for sermons, and I said, no, let God do
-
it. But I want you to know, preacher, if you're lying to
-
them people and you can't thrush them into the furnace, and you can't bring
-
them into the smithy, and the sound of the hammers tracking the object that
-
is upon that handle, which is the word of God, and the annultant
-
is making an impact when the word of God is not bold in Christians,
-
what is the output of a church after six months when they're working with somebody,
-
what is the output? Well, garbage in and garbage out? What
-
is on the tree. If we're producing the primitive men it were producing mus
-
sections, If we're producing obitual sinners, it's not the smithy that I did.
-
But it's not a foster this supper, it's not a fine talking fairness.
-
Then I being here because the Holy gust you improve. But the way
-
to see we will replet. Then if will refine all for our good,
-
all for his goy. God is a perfectionist. God is a perfectionist all
-
things, including perfection are possible through God. Will you sin all has sinned
-
and following short of the glory of God. But he would not mandate.
-
He didn't ask him. He said, be he perfect. Yes, we're
-
not perfect, but we're striving to be. We should not be sinning every
-
day. We should not be slipping up every day. And God puts us
-
through these furnaces of affliction to perfect us. What he said, that will
-
perfect that could discerning me? Are the lessons being learned? Are the lessons
-
being learned? Young man? God can take that's strong back and then straight
-
shoulders and snapped them in th way. Was it the man that played the
-
role of Superman all them years? What was his name? Chris uh,
-
Christopher Rees, Chris Reese? All them years he played Superman. I'm just
-
gonna step in the phone booth, walk out Superman. I'm gonna step in
-
the back office, walk out Superman. I'm gonna fly off the top of
-
the building, even if it's the Empire State Building. I'm on this fly.
-
Yeah, that's what some of you do, and I'll just fly right
-
out of this service. But y'all know Christopher Wings had an accident, did
-
he not? You know? What he was doing, Superman was riding a
-
horse. I rode a horse for a lot of years. I never got
-
thrown not one time. That's unusual. I rode some wild ones, and
-
I rode a lot, not as much as some, but a whole lot
-
more than others. Brother Jeremiah had him jump up in the air with both
-
feet. I'm telling you this vertical, all four feet vertical. And then
-
while they're in the air, kick up or kick the back up in their
-
just invert bucking and kicking Brother Jesse and fighting, and never got thrown not
-
one time. Christopher Reeves, Superman got thrown off. That's what happened to
-
Apostle Paul. He got thrown off his high horse all over. Yes he
-
did, Christopher Reeves. I'm sorry, buddy, but you got thrown off
-
your high horse. And Superman found out it takes more than the power of
-
a man to overcome anything. Since Superman had chrystinot and it was his weakness,
-
he couldn't even ride a horse. You can't do anything without the empowerment
-
of God. You can't do anything without the ability that God giveth. I
-
bet God before I preach every service, almost start crying, and I said,
-
God, you know I'm incapable of doing this. Sir, you know
-
I'm uncomfortable with doing this. You know I'm unable to do it. To
-
the fella Jesse, I don't do it. That's the ability that I have
-
that I do it. That's the ability that God gives her. If God
-
uses your brother preacher, say thank God. If a preacher can preach better
-
than you, say thank God. I'm trot t getting here, I'm crying.
-
He's not that ability. By that grace Thy God, and young man
-
I wants in the nerve her Christopher Reeves got a spiral towards seven. The
-
man stricken her will cancel her had a spinal close seven. I don't know
-
what happened to somebody if God severed the spiritual steal corner in the nervous system
-
was pastor fially, what about God gotta still be here, but you won't
-
know that the fatal still But do you walk down? They said you could
-
cut that man's live off, and because the spinal cord was shivering, most
-
likely he wouldn't feel it. No spiritual enoughness is the most horrible of things.
-
I thank God for brother John the way. He came in two Sundays
-
ago and three Sundays ago. They said I was that man pastor how was
-
preaching to them looking for something. He speaks to me that he's not past
-
feeding. He speaks to me. They didn't recognize us, that God is
-
in control. Oh, yes, there is a firing. Cortis awaiting somebody.
-
You missed me aid you survived that rerecord you survived. He in troll,
-
my Horsemack. You survived, but you can't survive being past feeling.
-
Every time I hear a preacher, preacher like the Brothers been preaching, and
-
I feel conviction, I say thank you God. I feel inadequate, I
-
say thank you God. I feel judgment. I say thank you God.
-
If you're feeling guilt, say thank you God. If you're feeling with conscious
-
speaking of truth, say thank you God. Don't you singer that contest?
-
Ask you somebody seeing that we are hollered, don't you walk out of this
-
building saying one more time you'll sear that conscience, You'll see that heart.
-
The blacksmith in his shop, there's a furnace the tools of the trade.
-
In the furnace, there will never be able to fashion a guarden tool,
-
a weapon, or a serving tray, or anything else. Fashion her shape
-
in the smith here unless the hand of the master is present. He tried
-
to get your attention for his namesake, for your good, and for his
-
glory. I had an automobile wreck. It was a bad wreck of sixteen
-
and a half years of age, if I remember correctly, I had got
-
up early one morning to wash my car before school. About six point thirty.
-
Just up the road there was a man going to the phosphate mine that
-
he worked at to make a living and earn a living first family. He
-
had both taill lines out. It was a dark, foggy morning, just
-
before dawn. I hit him at about sixty five miles per hour. In
-
in nineteen eighty four, tomarow in an immaculate condition less than fifty thousand miles
-
on it. I had bought it from a retired Navy, a veteran of
-
the Navy. And I want you to know, brother Jeremiah, I destroyed
-
that car. When I came to I walked out of that car and I
-
looked at the impallide help. And I looked at the car and I said,
-
God, I know you've been dealing with me to live for you.
-
I know you've been telling me to clean up my act. I was religious,
-
I had missed any services. I was playing the piano in church.
-
I was teaching Sunday school in the world a church her brother Jesseayd. I
-
knew the condition of my heart, and I knew my mind. I knew
-
what God knew. There's things God knows about you that nobody knows about it.
-
And I feel the witness of the hole that goes right here in this
-
building. I stood there and I saw my brother, whom I had so
-
much influence over, crawl out of the car, and I said, thank
-
you Lord that I didn't kill my brother. And then I said thank you
-
Lord of my soul in hell. The ambulance came in burgesse Irrespon Arts team
-
came. They parked and blocked the traffic in both directions. They opened the
-
back doors of the ambulance. They set me down, and I stared at
-
what could have been the scene of my death. And every time I passed
-
by that intersection that no longer exists. The mine's gone, the road's gone,
-
it's now a cattle pastor. They've even taken out and just say,
-
all the eastments and everything, but I know that was my furnace. It
-
no longer looks the same today. Most people would never know there used to
-
be a fledgend phosphate mind back in their brother Jesse were traffic backed up in
-
the middle of nowhere for miles as being made left and right hand turns.
-
Nobody would ever know that. Pastor how who's pastoring a beouthel hor and his
-
church people. There's sixty eight people in this building this morning. Two of
-
them are visitors. Something like that. Nobody would have knew this had been
-
where he died if he had not responded to the pressure. When the reality
-
of what could have happened set in, the strong man, the one that
-
refused to display emotion that the teachers played with smile Jeremy, the one that
-
refused to cry. Immediately, I realized God was speaking of me, and
-
I started throwing up. I remember coco pebbles hitting the ground, splashing on
-
the highway. I remember watching hot milk splash on the firefighter's shoes. He
-
says, all right, I can't wear that. What's wrong with you?
-
I said nothing. You wouldn't understand when God said, I will stop you
-
own trap. It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands. Going to
-
live in. God says to how our tech said, for his namesake,
-
for his namesake, for our good, and for his glory. There's something
-
this morning. You're in the furnace right now, there's some about to go
-
through the furnace. It's not by accident, it's on purpose. The Holy
-
goes, says, forewarned us. The prophet Isaiah preached for years. He
-
forewarned us. Could it be that the Lord is purifying your life. There's
-
something he sees, something needs to be dealt with, something needs to be
-
removed from your life. Second Printhians five US seventeen says, Therefore, if
-
any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are
-
passed away. Behold, all things have been I'm new. I'm trying to
-
skip over some of this. Historically, the Church has been persecuted since the
-
beginning of faith. The righteous have been afflicted, and for as long as
-
the sun has risen and said, the unruly, disobedient, and rebellius have
-
suffered or experienced hardship and difficulties. In short, people find themselves in the
-
furnace. Brother Phillips in the furnace of cancer. Sister Howell is in the
-
furnace of shortness of breath and has been there for fifteen months. Just the
-
littlest bit of exertion of energy cripples her. I let her out of the
-
car the other day to walk into a store such as TJ Max. I
-
took the car to park it. By the time she walked from the vehicle,
-
which was right on the sideworld, basically into the doors of the building,
-
I went parked the car. By the time I got back to the
-
vehicle, walked in where she's sitting on a bench inside out of the department
-
store, couldn't even walk fifty feet. Sister Cheryl Harrison is dealing with rental
-
failure. Both kidneys are shot. The furnace of affliction. I mean,
-
if you know, the Bible said it is good for me that I have
-
been afflicted. I'm not asking anybody to wish for a furnace to be presented
-
on your behalf or in your path, but I am telling you that they
-
will appear and identify themselves, not as Nebuka Nezzar's furnace, not as Job's
-
furnace. I don't know the purpose of Nevica Nezzar's furnace. I don't know
-
why it was designed. I don't know if it was to offer heat.
-
I don't know how cold it gets a babel d I don't know if it
-
was to cook a lot of meat for the big army. I don't know
-
what the purpose of that furnace was, but I know that the devil wanted
-
to heat it hotter than it was designed to be heated. I don't know
-
how hot that furnace is gonna be, but the devil will gladly put a
-
billows to God's furnace. That's what God said. Have you considered my servant
-
Job. He's a perfect man. He fears God. He issues evil,
-
and Job says, yeah, well he does that because you're good to him.
-
Does Job serve you for not? God say, go ahead, good
-
spears life. You can harm his body, you can afflict him, you
-
can kill his children. Imagine when be the furnace of affliction upon Job.
-
When he came into his house, the only building of structure that did Paul
-
flat with us nothing eat because the cattle and the herds had been stolen away,
-
and inside of his old house are ten caskets of his ten children.
-
What a mass funeral? How a heartbreaking? What's a good boo? Job
-
Joab said, he knows the way that I take. When he has tried
-
me, I shall come path as cold. And the Bible said the latter
-
part of Jord's life the in state of that man. In other words,
-
it showed the end result is Joke came out purified. Chap came out with
-
fine. He was already perfect, he was already peteriful, with che hope.
-
He was already grating God. But he came out grater. I want
-
you to know, right people to own their purpose of God? Did they
-
win her? Even when the life says, charge cus your God and die?
-
This could be happening if you are not doing wrong. Falsecuses come false.
-
Excusers say this, and they say that, But Job says, the
-
Lord giveth and the Lord take of their life. Messing be the name for
-
the long I'm not talking about the purposer of Jorn's furnaser or the purposer of
-
never condesce. I'm preaching over your furness. What is the purpose of it?
-
Could it be that the Lord is purifying you like? Does he see
-
something in there that needs the change. If any man be in Christ,
-
he is or she is. May I borrow something from the sermon and insert
-
it right here, just paraphrasing. If any man be in the furnace of
-
Christ, if any man be in Christ Jesus, in the furnace of Christ,
-
that purifying fire, then he is. The Bible said, no,
-
maybe might be he is a new creature. The consequences of this new creation
-
is the oldest passed away. It has been removed, and if it wasn't
-
immediately removed, it will be removed soon, and very soon. It doesn't
-
take somebody a year and a half or two years to fall in love with
-
God and follow in love his word and try to please God through a being
-
from bol being as to his word. The problem with this generation is they
-
are not reading the Bible. They try to get up and preach an eloquent
-
sermon, withe the wonderful ortorical skills and ability, and go to explain to
-
us why it was not a well that swallowed Jonah. And they said it
-
was a great fish, a large fish. With Jesus and the New Testament.
-
He said that Jonah was found three days and three nights in a wells
-
belly. They don't read the Bible through and through again. If you read
-
the Bible from through and through Old Testament and New Testament theology, both covenants
-
old and new, you will find sanctification being set apart from the world under
-
God has always been a God idea. It's always been the perfect will plan
-
of God for his people. Should I keep preaching or should we go eat
-
chicken? Look at the evidence of those who passed through His furnace. They
-
have become a new We're transformed by the renewing of our mindset. The hidden
-
part of you, the unseen thoughts will change. This will be removed,
-
and things will be put in their place. Things I once hated, I
-
now loved. Things I want loved I now hate. They're detestable unto me.
-
Things I used to have pleasure in no longer please me. Some of
-
you coming off this ten day type of Daniel Faust. You're saying that sugar
-
I used to crave, I no longer crave anymore. You'll stop craving that
-
sin when you start taking in it. Brother John, pray for me.
-
I gotta stay sweet hell you man. I'm trying to stay sweet in the
-
air this morning, Church. The old everything that was part of our old
-
sinful nature is to be removed. They are to pass away natural pride,
-
arrogance, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life, habitual sin,
-
habits of godly passions, self, I just just fanity, and so
-
forth. Those are the things that should have died when we nailed them to
-
the cross, Brother Jesse, when you come to the pienna this morning,
-
please if they didn't die, there is a furnace prepared for you. Because
-
God is a perfectionist. You're gonna play games with God. God's not gonna
-
play with you. He's just gonna take you right off for the shelf,
-
that piece of raw iron, that piece of unfinished steel, and he's gonna
-
put you in the fire. You can squeeze his hand, you can try
-
to pull the tongs out of his hand. You can do whatever you want
-
to. But you're going through the fire. And the inspiration for this sermon
-
is I heard God say several days over the last few days. Multiple times
-
on those days, he said they can burn now, that they can burn
-
later. Let's stand natural pride, arrogance. It can be said, you
-
did it your way. You can't find yourself in that eternal fire, this
-
never quitch, fueled by the wrath of an almighty God. It wasn't prepared
-
for you, though Devachandezzar's furnace was not prepared for those three Hebrew children.
-
And because of that, God was there for them. Hell was not prepared
-
for you. You can't take it. But the truth is, as long
-
as you refuse and resist God, you will have residency there. In fact,
-
you already have reservations sys to Hell. And I lean out in the
-
morning for Miami. Got some business and other matters down there for a few
-
days. We've got reservations. Do you realize that if you're saved, you
-
already have residency in heaven. You're joint heirs with Jesus. Isn't that wonderful?
-
You want equal shares of heaven. You've accepted him, You've ceased from
-
your sin. You're his child. Isaiah could preach hope to you in them
-
last few chapters. Do you realize that you will join You will enjoy eternal
-
bliss forever. But if you're not saved from your sin, and that's the
-
purpose that he came was to save his people from their sin, not in
-
their sin, from their sin, then you already have a ticket for hell.
-
I'm not going. I have so much more to preach, and I
-
want to cover this. And Daniel three and twenty five and said, he
-
answered, and said, lo, I see for him being loose walking into
-
the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt. In the form
-
of the fourth is likely to the son of God. While you can let
-
God walk through the fire with you, while you can go through the furnace
-
with God. Brother Philip, We're going through the furnace with God. Brother,
-
Sister Cheryl, We're going through the furnace with God. It's just how
-
we're going through the furnace with God. Bethel, we went through the fast,
-
that furnace without sugar, soft tree, without meat, without so much,
-
with God, and he came out on the other side with us the
-
way blessed us this morning. Notice the statement by Nebuchandazar. They went through
-
the fire, brother hysteric, he said, and they have no hurt.
-
You can go through this fire, brother Philip, without any hurt, Sister
-
Cheryl, through this burning, fiery furnace without any spiritual harm. It is
-
that the fire's purpose to hurt you. It's not the will of God that
-
you be destroyed. But if you don't surrender these things he's trying to take
-
out of your hand to be of you will consume those things, and in
-
the process he will consume you. He brings twelve and twenty nine said,
-
for our God is a consuming fire. Why do you refuse to get these
-
things up? Each one of us here today ought to allow he the Lord,
-
to consume the things that consume us. As I was thinking about this
-
message, or Lord was dealing with me. Of the things that consume our
-
time, the things that absorb our time. The enemy of our soul desires
-
that each person in this build spend a lot of time and energy doing everything
-
they can but consecrate their lives to God. Preacher, I don't have time
-
for church, Preacher, I don't have time. But you have time for
-
heartache, you have time for heart break, You have time for so many
-
things. I want to ask this question as we bow our heads and close
-
our eyes, what are you absorbed in? And I want to ask you
-
a question, how is that working out for you? What are you infatuated
-
with? How is that working out for you? Is that painting out well,
-
stop daydreaming. Is it social media consuming your time? Are you too
-
busy for the House of God, the things of God? It would be
-
beneficial for every one of us in this building to allow the Lord Jesus Christ
-
to consume more and more of our lives and time. The beginning of the
-
twelfth chapter the Book of Hebrews said, let us lay aside every way,
-
and the Semen does so easily beset us. And the very last part of
-
that same chapter says, our God is a consuming fire. The Lord is
-
able to consume those bad attitudes, those evil thoughts, those beech spirits.
-
He can conquer them all for our good, all for his glory. Is
-
this something in this building this morning that would admit by the rais another hand
-
while everyone's heads bound, and I was a closing to say, preacher,
-
I admit God's put me in the heat. There's one immediately, two,
-
three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine. How many
-
of you would raise your hand and say, without a doubt, I know
-
now. I didn't understand it then. I didn't even see it for years.
-
But now, even after this morning's message, I see God was working
-
all things together for my good. I see now the purpose of the fire.
-
Richard Jacob's furnace, just the road CAP's furnace, Elijah Wallace's furnace,
-
Nathaniel Howell's furnace, Brother Nathaniel. I'm glad God stopped being my tracks.
-
I'm glad on State Road thirty seven. Maybe it's seven miles south of Brady
-
Junction. God stopped me in my tracks. How about it? Will you
-
humble yourself before God before you face another burning, fiery firmness. How about
-
it? Will you get it fixed up with God before you face the wrath
-
of God in eternity? The atheist will get his wish. There will be
-
no presence of God. There is there another that would come to the altar
-
this morning. I feel like this is one more roadblock on the highway to
-
Hell. This is one more stop. Basically echo one and affirming with the
-
preacher's preach. Preacher, I'm not going to kick against the pricks, Preacher.
-
I don't want it to be said he's gone. I don't want it
-
to be said he's gone. The burning fire refirmness. You can rest assured.
-
We don't know why I never Candezar's furnace with fashion, but I know
-
why this is fashion for you. It will refine it, it will purify
-
you. And he commanded the most mighty be that were in his army to
-
find shadrack me shocking up had to go and to cast them into the burning,
-
fiery furnace. Friend, He'll cast you in that furnace. Those mighty
-
angels. You're no match for them. You will go in. God bless
-
you as you humble yourself before the Mighty of God, which you just lost
-
the Lord to help you to respond to the heaven's blacksmith, which ask the
-
Lord to help you to be molded, to be clob on his hand.
-
Lord fashion me in your life has mold me somebody right now saying I understand

them, while the furnaces I understand, Lord, Lord love that know how
