Sweeter as the days goes by ( Tabitha's dedication ) - Bro Jeremy Howell 1-21-2024

The chapter. We'll be reading the thirty sixth for the forty second verse.

It is so good to have Brother christ and Sister Debbie Burnett here this morning.

I know they love us, but honestly they're fleeing the cold weather.

I know they love us, but honestly they're fleeing the cold weather. And

I would do the same too. I don't know what's wrong with all those

holding as a Pentecostal people in the north of paradises attainable. You can reach

it, it can happen. You can make it. If you're listening,

you can make it the paradise. You can. Brother Nathaniel James, chapter

number one and verse number twenty seven. Brother Jesse's Second Corinthian chapter number two

and verse number fifteen. I love the sound of children in the house of

God, don't you. It is the sound of life. It is the

sound of life. Praise the Lord, all right, Brother Nathaniel James,

Chapter number one, verse number twenty seven. Your religion and undefiled before God

and the Father. Is this to visit the fatherless and widow in their affliction,

and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Okay, who is the

author of this book of the Bible. James was his significant character in the

early Church in the days of Apostle Paul and Peter. Wasn't James a very

significant character? He was one of the billers of the early church, a

powerhouse. So should we crumble up that book and that particular verse as that

though it was a piece of trash and throw it away. No, he

was one of those men that when the Apostle Paul came to the church at

Jerusalem to visit the brethren, when he walked in he looked, he saw

James and Peter, who appeared to be two talwards of faith, pillars.

He called them pillars. So James mentions here that it's important that we acknowledge

administer to those that are less fortunate, and that we balance it properly,

that will not be unbalanced, and doing so in the cricus of preaching,

and that I'm preaching, Brother Jessey, Second Christians, Chapter number two,

verse number fifteen. For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ in

them that are saved and in them that perish. Okay. Our primary character

this morning, as we move forward with dedicating baby Tabitha, our primary character

is Tabitha. Let's look at the ninth chapter of the Book of Acts that

they always stand for the reading of verses thirty six through forty two. The

Bible says, now there was that Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitham, which

by interpretation is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and ogsteeds,

which she did, and it came to pass in those days, and

when she was sick and died. Death is something that just happens. So

many people tried to associate something horrible with the fact that somebody died. This

was a wonderful woman who died. This was a woman who had no sin

in her life, who died. It came to pass in those days that

she was sick and died. Who when they had washed, they'd laid her

in an upper chamber. And for as much as Lydiam was not a Jumpa.

And the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him.

Two men desired him, that he would not delayed to come to them.

Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they

brought him into the upper chamber, and all the widows stood by him,

weeping and shoeing, the coats and the garments which Dorc dismade while she was

with them. But Peter put them all forth and kneeled down and prayed,

and turning into the bodies, that Tabitha arise as she opened her eyes,

and when she saw Peter, she sat up, and he gave her his

hand and lifted her up. And when he had called the saints and widows

presented her alive. And it was known throughout all chopping many believed in the

Lord. And it came to pass that he teared many days in Joppa with

one Simon a tanner. Let's pray, Heavenly Father, we know Lord,

that this is a special day for brother Christian, sister Laura. I thank

you God for the opportunity to be able to officiate this ceremony. I thank

you for the privilege of this people to be awa witnesses of this noble deed

that these parents do this day and dedicating their child unto you. I pray

that you would annoyt this thy servants, and a guard at my mouth,

and help me to say those things you would have any say nothing more or

less, anoint the ears of this thin people, that they might hear what

the spirits say at under the church. God, I pray, Lord,

that you would help us to depart this place joyfully and not sorrowly, in

Jesus's name, Amen. Our text is found in a New Testament book of

the Holy Bible. The Book of Luke is a very special book of the

Bible. When Luke finished writing his gospel, namely the Book of Luke,

he continued on with this book that we find our text in the Book of

Acts. The author of this book of the Bible is the beloved physician Luke.

The doctor who interviewed so many eye witnesses to the wonderful miracles wrought by

his Lord Jesus, purposed in his heart to record and document every action of

the Lord Jesus Christ that he could, in every action of the Apostles that

he could. The results of that effort are two beautiful books contained in the

Divine Library of sixty six books. In those two sacred writings we find good

news regarding the Messiah and the great deeds of his messengers or his disciples.

How many people prays that today can name the twelve apostles handpicked by our Lord

by the showing of hands do we have anybody in this building that can name

all twelve apostles? Looks like there's no one. I'm sure there's one or

two that could probably accurately name each and every apostle that was selected or handpicked

by the Lord to assist him during the days of his earthly ministry. It

is true that the Lord cherry picked certain people that had been very religious and

loyal to Judaism, even though some were tax collectors and some were fishermen and

others. For this, and that the Lord did not just randomly pick somebody.

He didn't have people draw straws. He knew exactly who it was he

needed to choose for the kind of ministry that he would lead. We find

that the Lord chose these twelve very special men, and only one of them

was lost, the son of tradition, namely Judas, And I'd hate to

be in his shoe leather tonight. I'm not sure of his eternal estate.

My guess is that he's burning in the flames of hell. The Lord had

presented him with a wonderful, glorious opportunity to be seated at his right hand

and to minister to the Lord in beautiful service forever. However, he chose

another option. Eleven of these apostles chose to do things correctly. They chose

to emulate Christ. And I understand this morning we're dedicating a baby, so

I'm not going to do the old school hell fire and brimstone preaching unless the

Lord sees that I do so, and he desires that I do so,

that I will be obedient to him whatever he wants me to do. But

I want to slow down this morning and talk to you from my heart,

and hopefully the words of my mouth are inspired of the holygost and that they

will speak to each one individually regarding obedience obedience, Jesus only has to say

something one time when he commands us to do something, our answers should be

guessed. We're in a terrible state if we are that person who the Lord

has to speak to repeatedly. We're in a terrible state if our pastor has

to be burdened repeatedly because of the same offenses that you commit weekly daily against

the Lord. Judas was such a man, no doubt. A lot of

times the words of Jesus Christ would be found offensive to Judas, while others

were encouraged by them. Because Judas was a thief. He was holding the

bag. He had secret sins, private sins, things going on that nobody

knew anything about. I'm sure there were times that while the other apostles were

just feeling great about the ministry of Jesus and the words of Jesus, I'm

sure Judas's hands were a bit sweaty. He rubbed the palms of his hands

down his leg, tried not to look so obvious that he was nervous,

tried not to make it apparent to others that he was nervous. As the

Master spoke. And when all of a sudden done, even though Jesus was

the son of God and the preacher of preachers, and what a mighty minister

he was, Judas was lost. The son of tradition, perished. He

took his own life, like King Saul. When he realized my rebellion and

my stubbornness and my obstinence cost me my relationship with my Master, he whom

I loved most, he whom I forsook all to follow. Because he didn't

conquer those inward demons, he finds himself gaining the whole world seemingly with losing

his own soul. Yeah, he gained the reputation to arriete, popularity,

fame, fortune. I mean, you just go out and cast a hook

in the water and pay taxes. Right, you're following the miracle worker.

The multitudes are throng in you. The crowds are screaming the name of the

man that you're part of. You're in his inner circle. He's wildly popular,

even more popular than Elvis. That you're in his inner circle. The

Bible said, what is a profit a man? If he gained the whole

world and lose his own soul. We can be surrounded by the comforts of

the church. We could be surrounded by the beautiful people within the church and

fellow apostles and disciples, and still be lost. We find that there were

twelve apostles, yes, but there were many disciples. Only a handful of

us could name the twelve apostles. There's somebody in this building that can name

the replacement to Judas Matthias. But brother Jesse, I want to speak to

some people here this morning. Are you a true disciple? Are you a

true follower of Jesus? When he points you in a path, do you

walk that path. When he points you in the right direction, do you

go in that direction? When the Lord says, pursued and seek the old

paths, do you diligently pursue and earnestly seek for the old path, that

you might find rest for your soul. At some point, anointed preachers of

the Gospel began to go throughout this land, and Brother Jerebiah, they came

to this area where this woman Tabitha lived. And when they came to this

area, they began to preach and promote Jesus. They preach the simplicity of

salvation, that someone should turn away from their wickedness and turn unto God,

repent of their sins. Have God they sorrow, do a one hundred and

eighty degree turn and walk away from their sins, leaving them at the foot

of the cross, going and sinning. No more will be their plan of

action, will be the course that they take. In the wake of this

powerfully anointed preaching by these great men of God. There is left this noble

woman of scripture named Tabitha in their wake. You've been behind a boat before,

and you've seen the weight that that powerful engine generates. There is no

doubt whatsoever that these great apostles of the Lord's Savior Jesus Christ, when they

got done setting the woods on fire, there was feet upon feet of ashes,

signs and manifestations on display on every hand, an aniss of fire.

They wasted because they lied to the Holy Ghost, and they lied to the

preacher. But standing firm and true in her faith in their weight. In

the midst of the aftermath of these powerful preachers preaching, there stands this diamond

that had been in the rough. There stands this beautiful person that meant it

when she said I'm sick and tired of the way I've been living. When

she said I'm tired of this and that I need help, I'm in need

of a savior. There was this beautiful, beautiful woman named Tapitha. I

looked up the meaning of her name. It literally means gazelle or gracious.

I thought about titling this message the gracious gazelle, and spend some time talking

about that beautiful animal amongst the animal kingdom, naming the gazelle. It is

certainly a graceful animal. And there's no doubt that this woman was very gracious

to those as she ministered to because she had received the spirit of Christ,

she had a like mindedness to Christ. In fact, her very life's testimony

bears witness that she followed the teachings of Moses and g Jesus, in that

she buried her brother's burdens, in that she cared for those that were less

fortunate, those that somehow had been robbed by that great thief, Lord Lucifer.

Not everybody in life is born with a silver spoon to the palate.

There's some people that could be just as blessed as you are if they had

been raised in the same atmosphere and environment that you were raised with. When

you get a hold of that and realize that and understand that, you will

fall on your knees and thank God for your surroundings that are conducive for His

glory and your growth. When you realize it's only by the grace of God

that you were not born in the third world country and child, When you

realize that your belly is not pop belly this morning because of feminist ovation,

You'll fall on your knees when you folly understand and acknowledge that that could have

been you. Some of the people in impoverished areas are just as intelligent as

you spend times. I've been ministering to people in third world countries, and

I realized, if these people have lived in the United States of America,

they would be some of the inventors of modern times. They would be some

of the engineers and some of our greatest engineering firms. It would be some

of the greatest lawyers in this country. Some of them would be some of

the greatest leaders of our government if they just had a pass to come over

here to the United States of America enjoy the freedoms that we enjoy. So

Tabitha, she gets off of her high horse, and she's no longer halted

and arrogant. I'm not surmising any of this. This is all biblic They

blaze because she comes an who a mindset that Jesus and Moses had preached and

instructed the children of God to have. And she prefers her brother, or

she prefers her sister above herself. Jesus practiced servant leadership. When he was

speaking to his twelve apostles, he said, let me wash your feet,

let me make myself the least among you. We find that this woman,

she was not prideful. She wasn't full of pride in the Bible and speaks

of those people that were full of the Holy ghost, full of faith,

full of pride. If you'll look at this gold and text again, you'll

see that this woman was full of good work. She wasn't trying to do

just enough to get by. There's a term that we use concerning somebody that's

just extra sweet to people, and it's called endearment. My grandchildren I'll have

fourteen by the end of this year. When they get around Papa, they

can't hardly keep their arms from around, wrapping them around my neck. Brother

Jesse, I do not understand what that is. I think about it every

day. I do not give them candy to bo their affection. I do

not set them in my lap as soon as they come into my presence and

try to read them a book, because I know too much attention it's not

a good thing because when that child is deprived of that attention, they begin

to act up and show out, and you realize this child is wanting attention.

Don't teach your children to crave attention. In time, they'll crave affirmation,

approval, and applause. If you teach them like that, and you

spoil them. But this woman did make her self endeared to those around her.

Grandma, make a batch of cookies and don't wave it right there in

front of their nose and say, Mimi made this for you, or me,

Ma, I made this for you. Just do what you know to

do again, not expecting affirmation, approval, or applause. This woman,

Tabitha, she done this because she had been converted. If you do not

have a desire in your heart whatsoever to fulfill the great commission or enable somebody

to do the great commission, you're not saved. You have believed an impostor.

You have believed in anti Christ. Jesus himself said, there will be

many that come. They will say I walked up and down their eyes.

They will say they hurt Sunday school teachers teach on me. But whenever you

look at thisripture, and it has to be a balanced view. But when

you look at the scripture, you can easily DEDUCTE who's got the spirit of

Christ, But who's got the spirit of an impostor who calls himself Jesus Christ.

I see an unbalanced trend in our world today. You've got the loose

living charismatics way over here. All they talk about is outreach, outreach,

this and outreach outreach, But they never want to talk about righteousness, truth

and holiness and judgement. Then you've got the holiness of Pentecostal people. Their

trend is to talk about righteousness and judgment, hell fire, brimstone, and

never have a desire to come over here and reach somebody else. I have

asked the Lord for the last seventeen years. I said, God, help

me to forget my years on the left, and help me forget my years

on extreme right. Pharisee is and legalism is just as damnable and damning as

the deadly doctrine of the charismatics. I said, God, help me to

keep a gun barrel straight between the lines, and to have, most importantly,

the spirit of Jesus Christ. So what is the spirit of Jesus Christ.

One morning he gave us was freely you ever received, freely give.

And sometimes all we have to give is ourself. We don't always have the

finances to give, We don't always have the ten talents to give. Some

of us only have five talents, some of us only have one talent.

But we have been given something to be a blessing to somebody else. Well,

what was this great gift that called Tabitha a disciple? What was it

that deemed her worthy to be called a disciple? I got to look at

in the scripture, and I could could find no other place in the Bible

where any other woman earned the title disciple. I looked. You may find

it this afternoon when you do text me please. I know that Jesus Christ

mother Mary, she heard the words from an angelic being that said, you're

greatly blessed, highly favored. You're wonderful woman, Brother Jesse. I know

that Apostle Paul was a man full of faith, full of the Holy Ghost.

So was Stephen. I know that Peter was a man that was the

Pentecost preacher. I know that Mary Magualeen was a true worshiper. She had

been forgiven much, and she loved the Lord greatly. But nowhere else in

scripture do I find where a woman was called a disciple. Now, if

you look at our Golden text, Acts nine at thirty six, now there

was a jumpa a certain disciple named Tabitha. Oh, yes, there were

many many women disciples. There were many many followers of the Lord's Savior,

Jesus Christ. But this woman earned the title disciple not because of how much

she gave in the offering, not because of how much she spoke in tongues.

Because she was praying for the sick, and the sick were recovering their

health, not because she was praying over the dead, and the dead were

being raised. She was deemed a disciple of Jesus Christ because of her good

works. Not full of faith, not full of the holy ghosts. I'm

sure she had all of that in the bag Stephen did. Here's a man

full of faith and full of the holy ghost But what do y'all see right

there? Full of good words and odd deeds which she did. Now,

I'll let you do a work studying the this afternoon on good works and alms

deeds which she did and which we should do. There's some of us so

bad we want to be that preacher and we'll be doing some hellphile brimstone preaching

the night because God has given me something to preach to this people. But

I want to get down to the nitty gritty with each and every one of

us this morning and let this message hit home. We should be getting sweeter

as the days go by. We should be perfect as He is perfect.

We're not there yet, but we should be striving to be holy. We

should be striving to be perfect. This woman was doing whatever she could in

order to be holy, to be perfect, and to be in compliance with

the word of God. Again, the commandments of Moses and Jesus' word.

You be mindful of those that are less fortunate. And the crickets are preaching

louder than I'm preaching. I know that us holiness and Pentecostal people, we

don't want to think anything in the world about that. I'm not talking about

seeking ten thousand dollars in a homeless shelter up the road. I'm not talking

about mailing fifty thousand dollars to Pacific Garden Mission. But this woman was a

true disciple of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was not fellowshipping the

wicked. She was not having evil communications that were corrupting her good manners.

This was a holy woman that was rubbing shoulders with people that could reach out

to Peter and have him come preach and pray. She was running with a

holy crowd, people that she agreed with doctrinely well, how good preach here?

So what was it that Tamitha did that caused her to earn earn everybody's

respect? Brother Jesse, I hate to borrow your suit coke, but could

I borrow it? You look so sharp in that suit coat. What was

it that Tampitha did? She sewed for Jesus? Every sea of those garments

were put in that garment to the glory of God, not to be seen

of men, although her works wouldn't be seen and manifesto before all. Come

here, sister Hannah, I need another sister. Come here, sister Grace

and help me. Sister Grace, you're gonna be Tabitha. Hold that garment

in your hand. Does it matter to somebody in another country has thrown their

entire life away to do something for Jesus? Sharant matters in the eyes of

God. God appreciates that. But it also matters what we do to help

them and to assist them in their trials. Our vows of compassion should be

erupting for that backslid hole in his Preacher's daughter is sleeping under the bridge in

Fort Myers. It's there, she's there. We've seen her, We've encountered

her, we've experienced her. Well, Sometimes you can't just go preaching a

fiery message up and under the bridge. Sometimes what you have to do is

bring a warm bowl of soup and a biscuit and maybe some sort of little

debbie snack and hand it to them and show them the love of God.

So whatever sister Tabitha would come into the local assembly to worship the Lord,

she had something in told, something in hand, so to speak, and

so she would walk over there to that person that was a widow. We

should be giving our very best to those that are in need, not those

that are trying to get what they can get out of us. But when

we deem a situation as something that demands our attention, and there is a

need that is crying out that must be met, the same way that little

Ethiopian baby is crying out for a morsel of food, that desire and that

craving for satisfaction, for fulfillment. When we see that, we have to

meet that need. Now, I want you to look at Sister Grace.

She represents Tabitha. Tabitha notices things that nobody else notices. And I have

to do this and I'm sorry if it misslip. Good message to that woman

in this building that where all of a sudden decides she's gonna become Tamitha and

exaggerate things and manipulate things. You are no Tabitha, because if Tabitha had

one hundred thousand dollars in the bank, she'd already get twenty thousand to lay

a foundation right here. What we gotta talk about about it. I'm not

your friend in this poolpit. And I'll tell you what. They got trouble

when they fired the pastors, and they got trouble when they fired the true

prophets of God. You need a prophet in your life, no matter how

much you feel like running from, if you need a profit in your life.

Tabitha was not intimidated at all by the preaching of the apostles, and

because of that she became a beautiful person that whenever she'd died, Brother Philip,

good things happened to bad people, and bad things happened to good people.

She died, I don't know if she died of cancer, Sugar died,

Betta's renal failure. I don't know what she died of, a heart

attack, a stroke. She died. This was a beautiful person, a

good person. Somebody that was advantageous to her. Pastor at the local assembly,

somebody at the apostles would hear about all she did when she came to

church. She just brought a garment for that little widow. Oh, I

feel the goodness and the grace of God this morning. That's all she did.

Go have a seat, sister Grace. That's all this woman did.

She was full of good works and almdies. Look at your neighbors, say,

hey, neighbor, she must have been a sweet woman. Now ask

them this question, Hey neighbor, are you sweet? I'm preaching on Tapith

as she grew sweeter as the days go by. I started to preach about

that gracious gazelle. But sister Woot and God spoke to me and spoke to

me concerning the child a Brother Christian and Sister Lauren, and also any child

of God, that we should be getting sweeter as the days go by.

And I believe that their little world will be getting sweeter as the days go

by. Brother Christian. When you look at her right now, you just

pour the sugar to her, and don't do that so much that you spoil

her, but continue to pour the sugar to her. Pour the word of

God to her poor, the spirit of God to her poor, the power

of God, the graciousness of God, the goodness of God to her.

Watch her get sweeter as the days go by. But I feel like God

spoke to me, concerned that jild that she's going to be sweeter and get

sweeter as the days go by. This woman, Tabitha, no doubt,

every time she brought a garment into the worship service, somebody knew she's had

somebody on her mind this week. Take your coat off. We come to

church so selfish. We can't even enter his gates with thanksgivings. We can't

even enter his courts were praise. But she came bearing her brother or sister's

burdens. Somebody said, well, Tabitha's come into the building. I wonder

what she's got with her today. Go over there to Sister Megan's sister Tabitha.

Sister Megan, stand up, I want you to actually put that on.

Somebody helps sister Megan with that baby. Now, who was she ministering

to, Not somebody that didn't have a need, somebody that had a great

need. You know in this time, they didn't have the government assistance and

we had today. They didn't have the insurance programs that we have today.

These women had been made widows, been due to war. Their husbands had

flipped off the fish and moat point their head and drowned into depth, never

to be recovered. And these women had no source of income because the man

was the primary bread winner. And you're gonna be too, You're gonna go

to hell. Thus, saith God, you better tap out of it.

Come here, sister Megan, who made that for you have with them?

Well, I'm gonna make sure my wife is the primary bread winner. And

as she gets an eduplication so that she can provide for herself if something happens

to her, that's great, does coronal wisdom. That's good that we have

the privilege to do that today. But there were widows that did not have

the luxury of doing so. Her custom would not have. And so a

widow came into church needing something. And Tabitha noticed her garments were worn and

tattered because her husband's down there in the gulf, somewhere in the dead sea.

Told me the name of another one of them seas the sea of Galilee.

Their husband's down there somewhere in the bottom of that sea and his fish

food, and they're coming to church with that heavy burden on their heart,

wondering how will I be taken care of? How will my provisions happen?

Who will provide for me? Who will take care of me? Sister what

you're very familiar with this feeling. But the only thing them little humble women

could say, but my God, she'll supply all the man needs according to

his riches and glory. And I tell you how he'll do it through a

Tabitha. He'll do it through a Jeremy Howell. He'll do it through a

Jesse Howell. He'll do it through a Philip Powell. That's how God is

supply those that are needing. That's how they'll take care of them. That's

how they'll meet their needs. And he's got to pick up a little woman

named to Tabitha. I couldn't find anything about her husband in the Bible.

Thank you, sister Megan. You can give that back to your husband.

I couldn't find anything in the Bible about Tabitha's husband, so I suppose that

she had went through something that had changed her life that had made her a

little more considerate of others. I think, without too much exaggeration, we

could conclude there was some driving force behind her desire that her seal to help

the widows. Specifically, I pray the brother Christian and his sister Lauren's little

girl never has to deal with widowhood. But we read a coat text this

morning, Brother Jesse did Second Christians, chapter number two, in verse number

fifteen, and it spoke of an aroma that was sweet of fragrance, that

was soup pleasant to the nostrils. And by her faith and good deeds,

Tabitha spread the sweet scent of Jesus Christ to the poor and the widows of

her local church. The stitch of widowhood was replaced by the sweetness of Tabitha.

Again, the stitch of widowhood was replaced by the sweetness of Tabitha.

The scent was better than the scent of Prishley baked cookies. The scent of

Tabitha's actions smelled better, was more fragrant, Brother Jesse, and more pleasant

to the nose than the smell of Preshley cut grass. To Brother Richard Jacob,

just her prayers that's being in the beyielding. There were no stunts being

pulled. She was not a drama queen from the pastor. She was not

problematic for the people of the church. She was willing as a woman to

sit in the laqual as symbling in silence, but to be doing something great

for the men of God, for the women of God, for the children

of God. And in her Simples of Acts, she finds herself walking into

the mind of the great physician Luke, and he records her actions and her

deeds in this book of Acts, which are the actions the recordings of the

actions of the people of God in the early Church. It doesn't matter how

your poor father's done it, how your ancestors done it, how you're greeting

grandpathers and great Grandpa's done it. This is the way the leaders of the

early Church. Don't forget that way everybody else has done it. Forget about

let everybody else has done what they're doing. Right now out How did they

do it? Whatever they were doing worked, Whatever they were doing demanded the

honor of men and the honor of God. They didn't do it to be

pleasing to me, and they did it to be pleased under God. So

Tabitha had this awesome encounter with the Lord Jesus and Brother Jesse. He does

a mind transplant. She becomes a new creature. She's put on the mind

of Jesus Christ, and all of a sudden she notices that that's just called

her Sister gir True. Sister Gertrude's got a warning tattered garment. Prachers,

listen to me. It's not about having the big temple. Tabern Uncle said

of good or sanctuary. Brother Nathan that presented me with a piece of paper

yesterday, just before I walked out of the sanctuary. It was nine forty

five pm. He said, Pastor, I think you'd like to have this.

On that piece of paper were written names in my handwriting of parishioners that

had been under my leadership and a little storefront building. Dimensionally, a trouble

would measure twenty by forty. We had seventy parishioners that were attending our little

storefront church. Only half of them are still in church today. I must

admit that the reason why only half of them are still in church today is

because the other half were selfish. They had a problem with tithe, they

had a problem with supporting their local church. They had a problem with doing

for others. If the church was having dinner on the grounds, they brought

the generic Dorinos. And then I caught them eating the brand named Doritos in

their van when they were broke down on the side of the road, and

it was their loving pastor that took time out of his busy day and checked

the day off of his busy schedule to go help them while they're straining on

the side of the highway. This woman did not have a selfish bone in

her body. Her gut was not greedy. This woman didn't have a lot

of money, and Sister Grace, there's no doubt in my mind whatsoever that

she was poor. There's no doubt in my mind whatsoever that she had probably

experienced some of the similar hardships that some of these other sisters were freshly enduring.

And she was compassionate, but she was also courageous. But because she

come to the place, I don't care what anybody saying. I'm not trying

to earn a badge of honor. Somebody may speak against my good deeds,

somebody may talk about me behind my back. She's only doing that because she's

clothing everybody in the church. That humbles my spirit when I realize that these

people would look at one another and say that Dorcas make that, because that's

her nickname, Dorcas. Yeah, Dorcas made that. Isn't it beautiful?

Oh my, that's such a sweet lady. She didn't have a ten thousand

dollar check to rite, she didn't have a fifty thousand dollars check to write.

She didn't have a three piece suit on, she didn't have a beautiful,

elegant dress off. I feel like she came in the best that with

the Hood would offer, and Brother Natanda, when she saw somebody that had

less than her standard, she tried to help bring them to her standard.

Now that's deep run there. That just went over there. When she saw

that there was somebody in her company and in her presence that was having to

settle for less of what God intended, she helped bring them at least to

her standard. I don't care that the mission Evan's broke down. I don't

care that we're ministering in the nursing home. I don't care that we're ministering

into jail. I don't care that we're ministering to the homeless. I don't

care. I don't care. That's exactly right, you don't care. This

was a caring woman. That's one of the points of this message. She

was a compassionate and caring woman. She cared for people. At one point

when the summers said, no man cared for my soul. I'm sure there

were times that these widows were coming to the local assemblance. Does anybody really

care? No, there was a lot of people in that building that probably

did not care. But this woman, Tabitha, she did care. Now,

there was a Japa, a certain disciple name Tabitha, which my interpretation

is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and alms deeds which

she did. She's a sweet woman. Brother Christian. There should not be

condemnation in this building this morning. There should not even be conviction in this

building this morning. These are things that we should have already conquered. These

are attitudes and behaviors that we should have already submitted to God. Let God

stuk the life out of them. She was endeared, right, she endeared

herself to them, precious people. Brother Jesse, I can feel thousand devils

in this building this mort because the devil knows when he could get the legalists

in the Pharisees to swing way far to the right, to the point that

they don't care about anybody. The good Samaritan spirit will never come upon them,

and they can see their own friend or acquaintance or family member or brother

right out there in the middle of the road and turn their head and walk

by and act like we're not trying to build a church, and act like

we're not trying to do that, and act like, listen, you can

pit shine your fingernails all you want to when your three piece suit, But

God's gonna settle this thing. After while, Jesus said, who was more

neighborly? I've seen men before? Decide my wife and I we ain't gonna

do this. Sister, how decided that at one point early on in our

marriage, we're not gonna do this. I fasted our pray and said,

yes we are. We're gonna do this. We're gonna do old time holding

us. We're gonna have the spirit of Christ. Sometimes she asked me,

Jeremy, how can you give of yourself as much as you do? And

I speak as a fool, and I say I'm gonna give of myself until

I die doing it. Apostle Paul used the financial term. He said,

I have been spent spent. Now, I didn't know who would be here

this morning and who would not be and we're dedicating a baby. But I

want y'all to know Tabitha was investing in the ministry. She was investing in

the lives of those that were needed. I want to talk to every one

of us right where it's at. It would be better for me to put

that ten thousand dollars in some kind of fun for you later on down the

road. But if we need it in Dominika, we'll send it over there

to Dominika. Somebody says, what good will that do? That's gonna do

a lot of good for those people over there. It won't do a ben

of good for me. But it's not about me. It's not about me,

okay, it's about him. About them. If it was about me,

yes, why aren't they just as precious as did people over there?

Yes, but they are more fortunate than those less fortunate people over there.

And I'm gonna say it again, I have marveled act the intellect of some

of those people over there that don't have two Nicholas to run together. You

better thank God that you've got what you've got by the grace of God,

by the goodness of God. You don't have it because you were smarter than

everybody else, so you earned it better than anybody else earned it. You

earned it because God gave it to you to be a blessing to others.

I'm preaching on myself. This is what motivates me to do outreach a ministry.

I used to be that guy too that would ignore the text that came

in from the missionary because I did not share his party. I could not

see his vision. I did not believe that it would come to perission.

I did not believe that we were passed a bed upon the water in order

to see the fruits of it after many days. But now I don't commissed

after doing character studies of people like Tamiata and a post Upon that would do

what they could do while they could do it. You remember the Bible said

that one particular woman, she did what she could do while there was breadth

in her body, who was noted as she did what she could do.

I don't know what she could do. I don't really know what cheermy and

Tarny can do. I don't know what Samuel can do. I don't know

what Caleb to do. But I know what Tamilta did. All she did

was fire up the soulmer, she said to speaker. All she did was

gonna needle and so tread and night take garment for somebody. You better not

make her take up to pass upon when us first to make up for gardening?

God knows when a riddle bier have nothing to see, nothing get by

Tamato. Whence to get the partner? Oh, we had it in reserves.

If you use that, you won't have it. That's all right,

God will help me find more. What are you talking about, pastor,

I'm talking about giving. Tabitha was a giver, and she was sweeter for

it. As the days went by, she gave more, and she gave

more, and she gave more. I read about Elon Moskin some of these

other people, and they talk about what's that called futt lanthropic. Yeah,

they give and they give, But brother Jesse, do that really give?

And then you hear of the other celebrities that ain't what they gained, go

listenly and illegally, and they talked about how their children are not going to

receive one die of what they had unless they get this degree and this degree,

and this degree and this degree. They won't see one red cent.

Well, who's gonna see it? I didn't pick the name of the child.

God did. God picked the text. My Jesus, My Jesus.

I'll be personal. So we have felt a burden to help people overseas after

we have had homeland Mission USA. Sometimes we wonder will become of what we're

putting out, including putting our life on the line repeatedly to go over there.

Sometimes we wonder when we come home in a box or a bag,

when we come home hole or in pieces. That's what we deal with,

but we still go. You said, well, I'm dealing with this,

and I'm dealing with that, but you still do, Tabitha. But I

wonder, brother Jesse, sometimes what will happen? What will become of that?

I can wonder about the same thing right here. This could be one

generation from destruction. This right there could be one generation for being a worldly

work. This could be one generation of being a charismatic family worship center and

not a hole in his church. Tabitha did not know who would end up

with that garment after the one that wore that garment died, but she knew

that it would meet the need of the moment. Oh my God, I

d A drug addict could have ended up possessing that garment after the recipient died.

Someone that were inhaling and ingesting a few of the mushrooms could have inherited

that garment that Tabitha made for one individual after that individual died. I don't

know the answer to these questions, but we still do what we can while

we can. Bethel sixty five of you each and every service, those of

you that are here All the time, I was praying and God spoke to

me concerning this message and people in this building, and I mentioned it last

night in an audio note. We can do better. If we want to,

we will do better. And I'm trying to slow down because we've got

to get to the serious part of this ceremony. But there is a spirit

in this world today that has entered our churches. It's a us for no

more mentality. We are not our brother's keeper. That's the spirit of Can

we do not fulfill the law of Christ by bearing our brother's burdens, and

so I ask myself the question, what is going to happen with the work

for doing in Dominiqua. Well, do I trust Brother Nathan it'll follow up

or not? Whether I can totally depend on Brother Nathan, you'll follow up

on that work after my departure, Brother Jesse, I can fully trust in

God to remember the good works and the alms deeds that have been done.

I can't have total peace of what's gonna become of this place, the Bethel

Horn, his church, but I can't leave behind a legacy and a mark

of what I did do while I could do it. I probably should have

just went on a huckabup preach. Be slowing down is probably giving you time

to think too much, Brother Philip, take your coat of Tabitha. Sitting

there quiet in church, a precious soul, a precious saint. I won't

be the keynote speaker Tonight, Peters eight miles up the road. True story.

It was just up the road by divine assignment. The appointment Peter was

nearby. The answers a lot closer than you think it is. There's a

lot more God in this service than we think there is Peter's a lot closer.

The prophet and the preacher and the pastors a lot closer. The answer

to your life's problems is a lot closer and within your reachion available. The

nearness of it is amazing. Tabitha, notice this, there's another widow commercials

is. Tabitha says, I want to keep on speaker. Brother Stephen died.

You know, full of faith and full the holiness. But all I

can offer is widow. It's a garment, that's right, grace, go

ahead and sister put it on, Sister Elizabeth, Brother Philip. When I

received that message last night from the church in Dominica, I didn't requested them

to do that. I didn't ask them to do that. Tell me,

brother Philip. But when they said, they asked for somebody to stand in

his stead, and the brethren circled round about that person that stood in on

behalf of Brother Philip, and they prayed. Sister Howell. Slipping them five

thousand dollars for a foundation was nothing compared to knowing my dark skin brothers and

sisters, without me asking, without me requesting it. Some of you better

get rid of that hard heart, because most of us as crying right now,

what I thought about those people having church in that little room and just

outside there's nothing but a foundation in some walls for what might be, but

what can be. But all that mattered was praying for a brother, indeed

sister who I couldn't help but cry and say, thank you Lord, for

people that, despite what they're going through, despite what they're dealing with in

a third world country, they loved my son and our church family to pray

for him. And here's what brother of us said, We wore for your

son on his behalf. You know at that tone, the brother Samuel coming

from two veterans where the military soldiers we warred, that means they fought for

are expirits. They fought for his healing. Thank you, gentlemen, Thank

you, Brother Philipp. All the while these wonderful things are taking place in

the mighty manifestations of the Holy Ghost is going on, in the spirit of

God is quickening to saints, there's a little woman named Tabitha, And everybody

look over here at sister Grace. All she did was put a garment on

whether that's all she did? Service after sir this, Thank your sister Grace,

Thank you, sister Elizabeth service at the service. That's all she did.

But when she died, pandemonium broke for it. All she did was

so garments for widows. That's all she did. She didn't have an office

in the Empire State Building. She didn't pass her Beautiful Holdness church in Mibel,

Florida. She didn't have people calling from all over saying, hey,

that message really helped. That's all she did. But when she died,

how significant can you be if you'll do what you can do while you can

do it? Y'all take you If sister how died tomorrow, what would happen?

Spiritual pandemonium in this place this morning? And I'm a fearful guy.

I thought that she had overslept. She wouldn't move in a bit. I

looked over there and did hear she's breathing? She's been having them breathing?

Is shoes right? The old devil said, could this be the day?

I said, get behind me, saying you're a liar. So I said,

real softly, Charity. She didn't move. She must have been really

tired. I said, Charity, okay. And after a while I said

Charity was At that point, Jesse and she come up out of that man.

You scared me to death. I said, thank God. She said

what's wrong? When I said nothing, I think you're running late. We

were still here by nine twenty. But y'all think about how this service would

have gone this morning had there not been life in her body. We still

had church, probably knowing Pastor Howell, Brother Jesse Cordin scripture, according to

the doctor of beloved physician Luke, spiritual pandemonium broke out because sister Tabitha's dead,

and brother Jeremiah they washed her body, the sisters did. They took

her up into the upper chamber and laid her there to be on display.

And they sent a messenger to the Apostle Peter, who just happened to be

in town. Really just happened to be there. That preacher just happened to

have that message when you needed it. You just happen to stumble into help

when you needed it. Most better be careful to let the devil steal from

you what God has given you. The Great Apostle Peter is eight miles down

the road working amongst the brethren down there, and spiritual pandemonium breaks out.

Have you not heard Tabitha died Have you not heard Tabitha? Have you not

heard Tabitha died? Have you not heard Tabitha died? All right, men,

it pulled your coats, I'll pull them off again. They start passing

around the garments. Look at what Tabitha made. There's no dead bodies that

have been raised. There's nobody said I was dead, but now I'm alive.

There's nobody saying I was blind and dallas. See what they're saying is

the widows are saying, look at this beautiful garment that Tabitha made. Now,

while the messengers are running to go get Peter put that buck on,

pingchecated, they're showing these beautiful garments. Yes, gonna be said, Look

what this one done for the glory of God. Yes, it's gonna be

said a brother Christian and sister laurd Look what they raised to the glory of

God. Such a beautiful garment of praise, Such a beautiful young lady.

And she just gets sweeter and sweeter and sweeter as the days go by.

I'll tell y'all how I feel in my soul. If Mom and Dad continue

to serve the Lord and do what they know they ought to do and display

and the things that they display before their children. I believe y'all are going

to be eyewitnesses some of this building will be eye witnesses of just how sweet

of an individual this little girl is going to be. And it's not going

to end. Brother Ethan, I felt like the Holy Ghost told me it's

gonna get sweeter and sweeter concerning her as the days go by. Know the

days of making a cake for somebody or not over. Know the days of

some elder sister or young sister having a burden for their other sister is not

over. Know the days of somebody getting down in the altar beside a young

person timely, decently and in order are not over. I feel like this

congregation will witness this very thing in the life of their daughter Tabitha, that

from an early age, people will be able to detect that this girl cares

about others. Do you care about others? I care about this. We

can all care about others. It's not about me. It's not about me,

Preachers, it's not about you. But whenever pandemonium broke out in the

other church eight miles up the road, Peter's over there, Come here,

Peter Man like a good old people. Come on right, here we go,

Peter. This special lady named Tabitha, she just died. She made

garments for our widow. She'd done all these wonderful things, just such a

blessed as she made garment at the garment, at the garment, just done

little things in a church that made such a difference. Would you come with

us and go over there, Peter? All right, circle around and come

back over here to Joppa. Did y'all know Peter's coming? Now? This

is what's gonnack alng you here in Stretcher. The local church could not live

without her. There was a need in that local church that demanded she be

there. We should be such a person that whatever death or the devil tries

to remove us from that local assembly, the needs of the people in God

Almighty himself, say no, devil, you can't have her. If we

would make ourselves useful as a drummer in the house of God. There is

a need for a drummer in the house of God that can work to a

cancer patient's advantage. There is need for an alms giver in the house of

God. Ask Cornelius what advantages the almsgiver receives? Who went to the house

of Cornelius here and he came therefrom Joppa. He went to one house where

all the women gave was garments and arms, and the power the holy ghosts

moved upon Peter and he prayed for Tabitha. And he said Tabitha aroused because

that local assembly needed her. God answered that prayer, and the Bible said

that she looked upon Peter. I'm telling you the moment those eyes open,

there's something about the opening of eyes, and that's what I'm trying to do

here this morning. I'm trying to help all of us open our eyes and

realize there are real needs in this world, this real needs in this local

church. As much as they needed Peter to pray for Tabitha, they needed

Tabitha and the minister to the widows of that local assembly. Peter would leave

there and go to the house of Simon a Tanner. And while he was

upon the balcony, if you one to the top of the house, he

gets caught into a trance, has a vision of this blanket that is let

down with unclean animals, and God is speaking to him that you're picturing to

go and give of yourself, pleading because you receive Frindy, you're gonna free

to give it. You're gonna go from Jumpa and from the house of Simon

to Tanner by the divine appointment. You're gonna go over here, and you're

gonna walk into the house of Brother Cornelius, and you're gonna meet Brother Cornelius,

and you're gonna say to him, your raising of the dead has been

heard. No, your healing of the lame has been heard. No,

you open into the blinded aisles has been heard in heaven. No what's gonna

be said? Your omsh have been brought before me in remembrance. I heard

every drum roll you made where the ugly stench of widowhood is threatened. That

I'm telling you right now, go Ain't getting this, Philip and Elizabeth,

With the ugly stench of widowhood is strictness. I'm preaching on the sweetness,

the sweetness of Jesus and his servants. Maybe I should have just wanted to

have threats with the ugly stinch of widowhood is strictness. There'll be a tabitha

in the midst Do you know what the devil was trying to do to church

at the church at the church covered with a stench of widowhood and removed the

goodman of the house. All that's gonna take is from one minister to be

discouraged, a minister that I could have been there for. All it's gonna

take is one pastor to be discouraged. If you could have heard the conversation

of my vehicle yesterday between me and the first lady in Cluiston, Florida,

it would scare you to death. If one pastor turns in a resignation letter,

the stinch o widowhood will demand sweetness. There's a lot of churches empty

today and the doors are closed because somebody would support their brother, somebody would

support their sister, and those little things have made all the difference. I

reached out to a realtor yesterday and I said, I need the name for

another general contractor, just to check prices. He said, I'm out west

right now and enjoying some time of rest and vacation with my wife. I

said, enjoy it. He said, I'll be back, mind you.

I said, okay, we'll talk then, Brother Samuel, He said,

what you got going on, preacher? I said, I need to build

a bigger church. He said, Well, praise the Lord. He said,

Pastor Howe wants you to know that most churches are folding up, They're

closing their doors. Their congregations are dwindling to nothing, Brother Christian, could

it be that your little girl will be one of them that comes walking in

that. The pastor says, you know what, I think, I'll just

keep on person, I'll keep on pastoring. I'm not talking about backslide,

no temptation there whatsoever. But the truth is, Sister how and I do

not have to do what we're doing, and I'll be transparent with y'all.

We considered retirement yesterday simply because of the load and the pressure I've got.

Jesse Nathaniel put In proposed to duty right now. I've postured myself a position

myself for removing. There is a bigger world out there that needs a bishop.

They need a missionary to oversee the churches. This would be my home

church. I do not feel like God has released me. But what I'm

trying to tell you is we all have things running through our heads. The

difference in me and you is I am transparent. But here's the words of

the first lady to me in a real world behind closed doors in the park

of us Sundays, and clue is to hear me, probably be best just

to let her go. But Brother Samuel, all they see, but they

don't see. All they see is I'll let you feel the But they don't

see. They don't see that soldier over there in Dominico on his knees saying,

my god, how can we even get to town? How can we

pick up that cancer patient? There were things going on in that local assembly

that didn't seem very important, but Tabitha was able to see things. If

people could see, she was able to see that that garment that that sister

was wearing, she deserved better and that should be replaced. So I'm confessing

my humanity. Am I'm about to resign this church? Absolutely not, I'm

confessing to you my humanity. Am I weak? No? Have I whimpered?

Know? Has she detected? Any give up in me? An else?

Have my father come back and out and you'll see that. I'm having

a whole back this morning to preach on this sweet lady Tabitha. But the

reality of this is it's all about others. If we're gonna leave something behind

that gives glory to God. It is all about sacrifice. I've stepped on

some toes this morning. When that husband walks out that door every morning at

six o'clock or five o'clock to report it is supposed to duty at seven or

seven point thirty, it's a sacrifice. It's Lord, I'm putting others before

myself. And the pressure and the strain ladies upon that man doing so.

It's enormous. So now let's put this in perspective. You got a pastor

beginning to build a church here. You got a pastor build a church in

Dominica. We got something else going on in Dominika. We've got two other

churches coming up in Dominikia. We've got all of these other things. We've

got cancer, patience, We've got people of renal failure. We got all

these things. The devil was just stacking them up. And every time he

does that, I say, he stacked something else up. I say,

dead, Why hate you more than I've ever hated you? With perfect hatred?

Somebody said, well, how could he be? Apostle Paul said,

Do I not burn? Do I not have feelings? Last night I was

in the church doing a sound check because the microphones have to be tweaked out

every six months. With all that going on, had to do soundcheck.

My baby boy come over there to the sound booth and reached up in his

hair and said, Dad, I need to show you something. And I

was working on our recording system at that time with our sound technician. We

just upgraded that, Thank the Lord. He leaned over that reil said Dad,

I need to show you something, reached up in his hair and pulled

out a handful of hair. I didn't even answer. I looked at him.

Jeremiah heard me. I stared at that monitor and I said, oh

yeah, and that under my breath is that I hate you double. It

won't make me backslide. It'll make me kick the double one to tease in

a greater measure. And that's what Tabitha displayed to the church. She had

to have been a widow herself, but she came into that church bent towards

helping others. She didn't sulk and whine and say poor me, I'm a

widow. She walked into that church and said, honey, I know all

about widowhood. Put this garment on whenever she sized it, and when she

fitted somebody come in her hand. I'm here, my daughter, I could

do this. This is what I believe that Brother Christian's daughter is going to

be this kind of person. Let me take the measurement, Sister Hannah.

I'm sorry about the loss of your husband. But as she takes the measurement,

she says, Sister Hannah, that'll be okay. Don't cry, honey.

Why else with the police break forth in pandemonium at the death of just

the widow. She's not a miracle worker. All she did was just good

things. Herema, I can tell you're about the burst forth in. That's

the Holy girls right there. You can be filled right now. You can't

suppress it. I want to tell you all the modern Pentecostal hold of his

churches and Charismatic churches do not have this figure out, and they do not

have a balance properly. When you think about Barnabas, in the spirit of

Barnabas that came upon him and he sold all of his possessions. God doesn't

require us to do that today. But when you think about the legacy of

these men of God that walked in and he fell on his face, and

the Bible said, laid the proceeds of the cells at the feet of the

apostles. Those are the kind of people that we claim we're gonna be shouting

down the streets of gold with. Those are the kind of people that we

claim we're gonna be sitting at that feast with the woman that brought that alabaster

box, Brother Christian, I believe here daughter is gonna be such a woman.

She brought that alabaster box and broke it, and immediately the stench of

that place was overtaken by sweet fragrance. Get sweeter as the days go by.

While when Antonysus the fire, they came into church because they had been

admiring everybody's total dedication, consecration, and commitment. They came in with a

plan, a scheme they had conjured up and said, I'm gonna give and

Peter, the Great Man of God, the prophet that people ran from they

wouldn't attend his church. That man God said, while you had it was

yours and you could do with it as you please. But now you have

come into this house of God to act like you've given so much? Do

we realize we profess to be the children of God, you profess to be

the father of Tapathan. You just held back that tear you started feeling it.

You and brother Jeremiah both have been seeking the Holy Ghost. I told

you both, just like I told these other men almost a year ago,

that you were nigh under being feel with the Holy Ghost. What you two

just quenched is your ticket to be and feel. It's no strange thing to

me this morning. The prophet, the Man of God knew what I would

be preaching on this morning. You two individuals are very sweet souls. Let

the sweetness come forth. Do not quench the spirit of God. Oh I

love what I feel in my soul right now, My bride come to me.

A few days ago, been praying about these two young men being filled

with the Holy Ghost. That's spent almost a year now since their peers were

filled, and since the house said Jeremy, I had a dream last night.

I said you did. She said, yeah, I don't dream at

all. Ever. They never have any spiritual value or significance. I said

you did. She said yeah, and then she started crying, and she

said, Brother christ and got the hold of ghost. Chris, it begins

with a dream. A lot of times you're quenching it, don't quench it.

The night I got the Holy Ghost, I did something I would never

do I refused to do, and that was cry. God. You know

what Tabits had made people do. She made people cry. So when she

died, people cried. They felt what you and I are feeling this morning.

They want to do more for their Jesus. They want to do more

for their Lord. I want to praise him more than I've ever praised him

before. I want to serve him more than I've ever served him and give

to him. I want to give him my holt and all. It's okay

right now in the middle of this service that somebody gets the Holy Ghost,

that somebody reconsecrates and rededicates their life to the Lord. It's okay that somebody

says, hey, how this world is stitches my life. I pray they

would be overtaken by the sweetness, that sweet fragrance of the Lord Bethel.

God's going to give us a Tabitha. But for there to be a sweet

Tabitha, that's going to be a sweet father, and it's going to be

a sweet mother. And I am proclaiming by the authority that God has given

me and the anointing that God has graced me with and I am nothing but

by his grace. But I am proclaiming that this church will see a marvelous

thing and alive from our little taps. Brother Philip, this church needs a

drummer. Here's what they were saying. Sister, whoop, she's irreplaceable.

Right. I've told you all about three times and seventeen years. I've given

considerable and very serious consideration to return to resignment. But every time I'm in

such great love with this people, with the ministry, at the end of

the day, I have no desire or leave it. I wonder about in

Dominica today. I wonder about in various places around the globe today, if

there's somebody being encouraged because of a tapitha Sister, when we lost your husband

that morning, I knew we were schedule to have so us that night,

the revival night. The only thing I could do, because I beat you

to him. There was no reason the dead that they There was no open

and blinded eyes up there. There was none of us sitting at the Farmers

marketing eating together like we had known for years and years and years. The

only thing I could do was put arm around a widow Jesse. The words

were not there. I asked God, please give me the words indeed,

and they were not there for such a situation. But the spirit of Tabitha,

you guys may not be the pastors of Birthlahoma's church one day you may

or you may not be. But I can tell you from what I know

of you two guys, and the way you two guys have my back,

just knowing that you give me a hun that' say, I appreciate your pastor.

I know I'm a warrior and I'm gonna do it without a pat on

the back, but it makes it so much more bearable. Brother stere A,

Sister how and I sit up there across the highway yesterday and listen to

you preached for forty minutes. I said that right there, Honey, is

while we're doing what we're doing. That blesses our soul. Honey Jesse,

could we bar Brother Maca's coat. I believe that y'all will see little Tabitha

the daughter and Brother Christians Sister Lauren begin to do notable deeds with very little

age, very young age. She's a little child. I believe you're going

to see her do things for people just because she wants to do it for

people. I lost my Tabitha here. Her name was Barbara Flat. I

lost her if years ago. I'm here today because of my Tabitha. She

said on the back pewed shook her head. Amen. We preached something she

knew was right. She wouldn't leave and not come back or try to hide

out the car from me. The last time she was in this church as

such as Saint of God as she was, as sweet and humble and holy

as she was. She was walking out the door and she said, do

you mind if I pulled that last door? I said no, go ahead,

And she didn't take up a much of my time. She said,

I just want you to know I appreciate you, Sister Eryl. Can hear

her voice the way it crack, well, she'd be serious. And then

she started crying and she said, you wouldn't know it, but you touched

on something in my life that I need to get right. This very morning,

she said, you help me, and I asked God to forgive me.

She said, they don't get me wrong. There's no great gross sin

and nothing, she said. But I just knew it was taking my time

away from my Jesus and Brother Jesse. She put her hand up with the

crime. Then she starts speaking in tongues. It was but a few minutes

later somebody said, Mama plaps down out there in the churchyard. There's legs

broke in half. She slid up under her vehicle. We can't get her

up. But Brother Samuel, I think about all crafts and all the gifts,

and in my office are things that some of you might consider to be

silly and insignificant. But sometimes, Brother Jesse, I can pull out that

little craft that she made me, and then I could go to that picture

of brother Clown, Brother Wooton, and Brother Heaven Sister Plat, and I

can remember why I'm doing what I'm doing, and I do that. I

remind myself, Brother Nathaniel, why I'm here right now. These people weren't

miracle workers. They were people that bore their rodens gracefully, and they were

people that buried my burdens. It was Brother Plaid that first started the pastor's

offering, an attempt to help ease the financial strain of a pastor driving two

hours to and from church every service. Another man of few words in church,

but a man have made a difference in my life. And I don't

want to wear this message out or hold you any longer. But you may

not feel like you mean anything anybody, but you mean a whole lot more

to them than you realize. I had so many things in the notes this

morning, I just stepped away from them all just wanted to talk to y'all

from my heart. Brother Douglas, if you're listening, I'm going to share

this with you. When he told me that the band had broke down and

they were in the middle of the construction project, just everything going on,

and you know, just like any minister, they had considered even behind at

times, Brother Caleb, I just answered the message may lasted two to three

minutes, he replied. About an hour later, he said, Pastor Bishop,

I'm about to go into the service. He said, I want to

play your message before the people, and you could just hear such joy and

his voicees to him and there was such a happiness and such a peace and

such comfort and just the fact that he had heard good news. We're praying

for your brother. We're with you, Brother Samuel. There's some people all

they need is a word of encouragement. There's some people all they need is

a garment. And when you do those little things, you become a very

important part of their world. Tyler, when I let the church know that

we had a great need on the mission field, that we wouldn't be able

to get people at church this morning unless we got that transmission fixed on the

road, it was less than ten minutes. Tyler, wotan payount me one

hundred dollars. It was less than ten minutes. Christian woulded pay pound me

one hundred dollars. It was less than ten minutes, Kayler, rokep pay

pounding me one hundred dollars. Brethren, somebody was able to go to church

this morning because of your gift. Almost feel like we need to just bow

our heads and tray right here? Can we do that? Heavenly Father,

I know without a doubt that you have spoken to us this morning. God,

this is a very unique service. I can tell that, Lord,

you have some folks in mind, and I thank you for this. What

would you encourage me to day? What would you've encouraged this to have other

than you encouraged for the sister Douglas. Lord, I pray that you help

this people to be for what means you would have us to be in order

to support the brothers and sisters. God most supported me to be mindful of

their fast, their pain, or to seem like it's just a garment.

There was so much more than that. Jesus, Jesus M. The sobbing

has taken place right now is a cleansing. Cleansing is what's happening right now,

Brother Christian. It's a clee and it'll get sweeter as the days go

by, Brother Christian, as the Holy Ghost has drove you to your knees,

get this imagery and picture this in your mind. Many of those poor

widows and Jack were walking around in clothes made by Tabitha. What a sweet

woman that Tabitha is, Brother Christian. Let the Lord friends at anger,

let him take it out until you go over. He's a sweet, sweet,

sweet baby, Brother Jesse. We can get to the ceremonial part of

this dedication later. Right now, the Holy Gist he's on the tide,

and then would you pray with him? I don't believe the Holy Guests would

have it otherwise I quenched the spirit. Dear brother, do you realize that

maybe you hold in your hand that time would be a blessing to me.

She'll be one more sweet Are there some more brothers that would pray with Brother

was the sweet lady Tabitha's legacy sewing for others? The physician Glut said,

she's full of good words the church, mister, the church needed the church

had to have her back. When the Christian be cleansed of that angry?

Is that be clements? Braid? Praise them? Yeah, praise the Lord.

We praised nor head. Pray Church. Just what Tabitha would do.

She would pray, holding nothing back. M Let the sweetness replace the bitterness.

Let the sweetness replace the bitterness. Tabitha could have been bitter because of

widowhood, but we must replace the piscis over the way in the part I

give us face. Oh no, praise the Lord, Brother Christian. Sister

Lauren will y'all braying Tabitha forward. Please as you continue pray, Brother Christian

with that broken heart, that precious spirit that's upon your right, And I'll

bring you a little girl to the head. I will say this, as

we were all praying, the brother Christian spirit was broken. I will say

that the Lord did check me concerning the thought process of a couple folks in

this building. And I felt like the Lord told me to tell you,

He's not asking you to do something you can't do. Tabitha couldn't be Paul

or Peter, but she could do what she could do. So do not

misunderstand me. I'm not asking you to take a loan out to help anybody,

help a mission work. Here's what no hope to tell you. He

has not asked you to do anything you can't do. Them and these parents,

he has brought them into a parenthood and he hasn't given them something that's

impossible for them to accomplish. But there's many parents in this building that have

raised children up. They have brought children up in the nurture and the admonition

of the Lord. This is something that is doable. You can do it.

Brother, Christmas is tomorrow, Raise a little child up to the glory

of God. That will be that precious Tabitha and be a blessing to her

mother and father and family and her church family. I believe this will come

to pass as long as there the Christians as to Lauren continue to train her

up to the way that she should go. I believe she will be a

blessing to not only the Wood family, but He's got her honest church family.

Sister Lauren, Brother Christian, turn around and face the congregation. They

let him see beautiful tapithan. Truly the Lord has blessed them with tapithan to

the precious little bud and joy. My life forever changed when Sister how and

I had our firstborn son, brother Jeremiah, and Brother Christian and sister Laura

in your lives forever change with that, true children have to turn and face

me now to look at her right now, knowing the way God spoke to

my heart concerning her, It's just amazing to behold went to plans of God,

just the very member of this Brother Richard Jacob. You think that she

is going to beat such a person and the Kingdom is just amazing. You

know, the board has planned her life and Brother Christmas is Lord. Y'all

know this is a very very serious time. The fact it's probably one of

the most serious times of this child's life. And she has no choice in

the matter at this point, but I'm thankful that you too have chose to

dedicate her to the Lord. For those of you that are not familiar with

the baby dedication, Mommy and Daddy are bringing their little one back to the

Lord. They gave Tabitha to Christian and Lawrence several months ago, and now

they are giving her back to him. We have biblical examples of this,

and the mother of Jesus and the mother of brother of John the Baptist Man,

and Elizabeth and brought the children to the House of the Lord to give

it them back to the Lord. That's what we are doing this morning.

We like to proceed whether the more informed part of this dedication service will afford

with the bows. Brother Christian and Sister Lauren believe in that this child is

in fact a beautiful gift from the Lord. And then she shall hold you

to accountable before Lord God Almighty on that great day as she stands before Him

and you two as her instructors of Christ, and the God in fact shall

hold you to accountable for what y'all have done with her regarding instruction in this

life. Do you too, soldomly agreed that it is your purpose to dedicate

this lovely child habit to the Lord in this service. When you pray for

her, will you instruct her faithfully? Will you bring her up in the

nurture and the admonition of the Lord. Will you faithfully teach her and the

doctrines of the Christian faith, And will you teach her to read the Word

of God. Will you teach her to pray, where you teach her to

live a holy life, Where you bring her to the house of worship every

time the doors are open, where you do everything within your power to bring

her to the knowledge of the fact that Jesus is and wants to be her

lord. And so let's ask the parents and grandparents, the parents to hear,

the grandparents to come forward at this time as well. Sisters. Would

y'all gather around Sister Lauren, Brothers gather around Brother Christian or facts her it
