No. One of my favorite favorite preachers, the prophet Isaiah, was considered
-
a major prophet, not because the message that he had was any more powerful
-
or potent than those other preachers they called minor prophets, simply because of the
-
length of his writings. He's considered a major prophet also because of his spiritual
-
insight concerning things that were forthcoming. In this fortieth chapter, you'll see that
-
he was also a prophetic concerning John the Baptizer, John the Baptizer. Now
-
we've got some mental outlines I want us to follow here this morning, and
-
I do not plan to mention them again during the preaching. I may decide
-
to do that if the only goes prompts me. But I'm not one of
-
these guys that wants to name three points perfectly to impress you. I did
-
not come to speak to you with excellent words. I come to demonstrate the
-
power of the Holy Ghost that's all in him. But point number one we
-
will be following mentally as we are preaching, is comfort in warfare. Okay.
-
Point number two is comfort in the wilderness that if you'll look in that
-
second verse of it at Isaiah chapter number forty, you will see the word
-
of warfare that literally means like hardships. So I come this morning not to
-
chastise, but to lift up and to just encourage you in the Lord.
-
Everybody, take a deep breath, just release in hell again. Please,
-
let's tell isn't that great? Did you good? That did mean a lot
-
of good. It's got me warmed up to preach. So we warmed up,
-
our mayor am all right. So you'll be looking at Isaiah chapter number
-
forty. We'll be reading verses number one through five for our golden text.
-
Our brother Nathaniel John, chapter number four versus number twenty eight twenty nine,
-
Brother Jesse First Thessalonians, chapter number four, Verses number sixteen through eighteen.
-
Brother John matter armist, could to see you here this morning, crazy Lord?
-
All right, Brother Nathaniel John, chapter number four, versus numbers twenty
-
eight and twenty nine. The woman then left her water pot and went her
-
way into the city and said to the men, come see a man which
-
told me all things that I ever did? Is not this the Christ?
-
This particular woman needed a comforter. She did not need a critic, so
-
when to criticize her, she needed a comforter. So the Samaritan woman was
-
comforted by the Lord in her hardship. Brother Jesse first Astalonians, chapter number
-
four, verses number sixteen through eighteen. For the Lord himself shall descend from
-
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the
-
trump of God. The dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which
-
are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds
-
to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be the
-
Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words. Those are most comforting
-
words, are they not? How many of you are expecting the Lord to
-
return. Let's stand for the reading of our golden text, which will be
-
verse number one, but we will continue reading all the way to the end
-
of verse number five. The Bible says, comfort ye, Comfort ye,
-
my people, Saith your God, speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry
-
unto her that her warfare is accomplished. In other words, her hardships are
-
over, that her iniquity is pardon, for she hath received of the Lord's
-
hand double for all her sins. The voice of Him that crieth in the
-
wilderness. Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Make straight in the desert
-
a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted in every mountain,
-
and hell shall be made low, and the crooked shall be made right,
-
and the rough places play, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
-
and all flesh shall see it. Together for the mouth of the Lord.
-
I spoke, praise the Lord. It's legal to smile, Josephine,
-
can't steal that smile a few things. Let's pray, Heavenly Father, we
-
love and we praise you. We thank you for the opportunity to be in
-
your house. I thank you for this people that have gathered together today,
-
Lord, to serve you in spirit and in truth. I pray that you
-
would have known this. Thy servants of the Guard, have my mouth and
-
help me to say the things that you would have you to say, nothing
-
more and less, and thought the years of this thy people, that they
-
might hear what it is. The spirit saith up to the church is through
-
this preach word of God. Lord is God of my words, but it's
-
of your words. It's God of my spirit, but it's of your spirit,
-
by your power, by you or mine. I pray reveal Thine arm
-
and thy power and I save and strength this day. Help us to hear
-
the words of God and to heat and let the sayings go into that soul
-
and spirit below the shoulders we prayed. And may we depart this place joyfully
-
and not sorrowfully, in Jesus' name. Amen, look at your neighbors.
-
You're being seated to say, hey, neighbor, comfort is coming. Comfort
-
is coming, Brother, Jeremiah is the title this message? The Holy Ghost
-
did in fact title this message. How many of you all believe that comfort
-
is on the way for each and every individual in this building this morning?
-
Our textas found in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible. The title
-
bears the name of its author. The name Isaiah is a beautiful name.
-
It literally means the Lord is salvation. The name Isaiah is the middle name
-
of my son Samuel. This fortieth chapter of the Sacred Writing is comforting to
-
the person who is discomforted. If there has been a generation that feels uncomfortable
-
mentally and spiritually, it is certainly this generation. Everywhere I go, I
-
see discomforted and miserable people. How many of you have seen somebody miserable?
-
You ever seen somebody wallowing and misery. This is the most miserable generation that
-
I have ever seen since to howl. People on every hand are perplexed and
-
troubled, And so I see discomforted and miserable people. The children of this
-
world have their eyes fixated upon everyone and everything besides the Lord and his habitation
-
heaven. As we read through this chapter, we soon realize the purpose of
-
the Lord speaking through his servant, the prophet Isaiah. He gives his servant
-
Isaiah a message for the people who claim to be his people. But those
-
people have disappointed the Lord because of their rebellions, stubbornness, and sins.
-
You see that these people received, though nevertheless a preacher preaching to them.
-
God raised up someone with a vision for their correction. God raised up someone
-
with a vision for their spiritual renewal and restoration, somebody that would steer them
-
in the right direction. How many parents in this building this morning would admit
-
by raising your hand and saying, I have to steer my children in the
-
right direction. If they're going to end up at the proper destination, I
-
must train them up in the way that they should go. And the same
-
thing should be being done by parents across the world and throughout America, parents
-
should be training their children up in the ways of God. Ignorance is not
-
bliss. The people of this world being ignorant of the things the ways of
-
God, haveing no identity who God is. That is not a situation that
-
brings forth bliss. That is a situation that brings forth calamity and chaos.
-
I have heard people, including preachers of the Gospel, that have said the
-
world that sits in ignorance is a blessed world. No, absolutely not.
-
In fact, the entire coming of the Lord, the soon return of the
-
Lord, hinges on us notifying every single soul within this world of the Gospel.
-
That was the reason for the Great commission, that we would go forth
-
unto all people, and that we would sprint the Gospel Brother Jeremiah. And
-
after that has been accomplished, then the coming of the Lord will happen.
-
And so I feel like it's very important that we enable and equip people to
-
do mission work. It's very important that we pray to the Lord of the
-
Harvest that he would send forth labors into his harvest. If you want to
-
get out of this spiritual warfare and the spiritual wilderness that we are living in.
-
We need to evangelize the world. We need to spread the Gospel.
-
It's going to take more than Brother Samuel and Brother Caleb going down to a
-
mockily once a month, preaching hope, truth, righteousness, all these wonderful
-
things to a lost people. Is going to take each and every one of
-
us to be a voice in their wilderness or a voice in the midst of
-
their warfare. If you look at this forty chapter of the Book of Isaiah,
-
you will see that there are four different voices mentioned. Four different voices
-
are mentioned. If I did not count incorrectly. Now I know that the
-
Bible said that there are many voices in the world. Ha many of you
-
are very careful to listen the voice of God. You pay careful attention to
-
the voice of God, and you do not listen carefully at all to the
-
voice of this world. The voice of this world is certainly speaking to each
-
and every one of us, including myself. I would lie to you if
-
I told you that the voice of this world or the voice of the devil,
-
is not speaking to me. How many of you feel like it's true?
-
The old cartoon that showed an angel of the Lord on one shoulder and
-
a demon from Hell on the other's shoulder. That is true. Sometimes while
-
the Lord is trying to speak into one ear, the devil is not hesitant
-
or reluctant at all to get in the other ear. And so these people
-
who profess to be the people of God, Sister Howell, somehow they find
-
themselves in a situation and predicaments that are very unnerving and unsettling. I know
-
that there must have been a time that they the question what can be done
-
about the situation? I want to ask you this morning, have you talked
-
to the Lord about your situation? I have had a bird in this past
-
weekend that wasn't second to the one that I had the prior weekend. I
-
am convinced that the Lord is wanting to speak to somebody in this building this
-
morning. But I want you to hear the voice of the Lord and what
-
it is. The Spirit saith unto the church. Bend your ear towards the
-
Spirit of God. You have it here to hear, and I want you
-
to hear what the Spirit is saying under this church and those individuals in this
-
building this morning that need this message. And so in a time of chaos
-
and calamity, Brother Nathaniel, they receive a message of hope. How can
-
it get any better than that? It does. Isaiah's message not only is
-
a message of hope, but it also speaks of the coming of the Lord.
-
And the Lord is going to save his people any time he makes an
-
appearance. In fact, when he made his first appearance upon this earth,
-
he was sin, a baby, born on a mission to save people from
-
their sin, not to save them within their sin, but to deliver them
-
out of spiritual hardships or spiritual warfare and spiritual wildernesses. The Bible said he
-
came into his own and his own did not receive him, But for as
-
many that did receive him, to them he gave power to be the sons
-
of God. Now, I want you to know that these people that are
-
the children of Israel and the children of Judah, they find themselves in exile
-
in the land of Babylon. And so this had to be a wonderful message
-
of encouragement. With the prophet, Isaiah began to preach. He had talked
-
to Isaiah, and God had moved through this messenger, And this messenger had
-
also spoke with Hezekiah that was the king of Israel. What was the occasion?
-
The Bible said that Hezekai was sick unto death, and the son of
-
Amos, the prophet Isaiah came unto him and told him to make is it
-
called a poltice and makes some kind of poultice of figs, and to put
-
it on the wound. And the prophet Isaiah said, if you do this,
-
if you practice simple obedience, you will be healed of this miserable wound
-
that you have. Are y'all listening? Are you getting this? But it's
-
gonna be up to you to do exactly as God has told you to do.
-
So I know that I've got a message for you this morning, but
-
it's going to be important that if you're holding a child in your hand,
-
that you hand that child off like a quarterback would a football tour running back
-
and you say that all that matters is that I scored a touchdown in the
-
altars. I've got to get your attention right now, because there is a
-
stronghold around you that's trying to get you in a situation where you feel discomforted,
-
you feel disquieted, you feel like you're in despair, and that will
-
lead to a depression that you're gonna have a very hard time shaking. I've
-
had a strong murden, and so this message of hope comes forth, and
-
brother roaduecap. Not only is it a message of hope, but the message
-
is you're gonna find comfort and strength. And I want to point out that
-
the word was comfort, not cushy or cozy. It was not an invitation
-
to go to the local spa and receive creature comforts. It was not talking
-
about a bigger paycheck or a better personage, or a better house or a
-
better job. How many of you know that God did not promise us a
-
bed of roses. He did not promise us a bed of ease. God
-
never promises, nor do us his servants promote comfortable lives. God never promises
-
comfortable lives, and God's servants that a true men of God, they never
-
promote comfortable life. We are not prosperity preachers. God never promised freedom from
-
persecution or an absence of punishment. In fact, we find that these people
-
had been punished even though they had a preacher like Isaiah and a king.
-
Luck has a pile and miracles were being performed. God let him know you're
-
gonna spend some time in exile. The Bible students and the Bible readers in
-
this building this morning, you know, they spend seventy years in babylonh That
-
is a long time to spend in a spiritual or wilderness, or in spiritual
-
conflict or warfare. You see, I'm not here this morning to promote prosperity.
-
I'm not here this morning to promise you comfort or a bed and a
-
rose of ease. But I am here to tell you this morning that God
-
told me that he will provide comforting strength. If you look at first number
-
ten, that word warfare is hardship. I have no doubt whatsoever in my
-
mind that somebody in this building this morning is at the WIT's end. I
-
know that they are facing things that somebody else sitting next to them is not
-
facing. They could say, how could it get any worse than this?
-
I come to church and I look the part, I walk the walking,
-
and I talk to talk. But some how, in the midst of my
-
bosom, I am a miserable because of things that are going on. I
-
don't know that you're like the Tunren of Israel. These people were facing these
-
things because of sin and willful negligence and disobedience. God indeed was of punishing
-
them for their actions and their wrong doings. And I do not know that
-
you're suffering in the manner that you're suffering because you're committing grosser habitual sins.
-
I do not feel like you're just somebody bent towards evil like these Israelites were.
-
That I want to encourage you because the devil has lied to you.
-
I felt it in a time of prayer. You feel like you don't measure
-
up to others in the church. You look around and say, well,
-
you look, they're celebrating this week one year of being genuinely saved from their
-
hardships, from their mental stressors, their mental anguish, their mental agony.
-
They had a smile on their face and their saved. Has been twelve months
-
now since I was genuinely saved and sanctivide and filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
These that have been testifying that are the saving strength and the salvation of God
-
have not sinned that they were addicted to something. They have not said that
-
they were habitually sitting. They have not said that they were struggling who sin
-
But they have said somehow I feel like I have finally been saved. You
-
see, God had told these people that were riven in exile. He prophesied
-
through Isaaha that there were come of time when they're reber in exiled, and
-
he says, it's gonna gets so bad because of wrong doings on your part.
-
I'm not here to put a finger and anybody this morning is saying you
-
are suffering because of something you did. But I want you to see how
-
much of John loved the people that made mistakes, and yes, the mistakes
-
cause the misery. You look at the issues that these Israelites were dealing with,
-
wouldn't it be safe for us to assume that they are dealing with things
-
that so many people are dealing with her today? So many people are dealing
-
with her addictions. I'm surprised at how many people have confided in me and
-
saying they're having to resort to feel abusive in order her to escape their pain.
-
Sometimes I feel like that physical pain it is too largely impart because of
-
the Sierra being reasonable, because of their set of relationship with their God.
-
Are walking to so many churches nowadays, and it doesn't take but a glimpse
-
and againer to realize very few people are meeting rays a true chure. It's
-
contagious and the next generation and oh, I see the shackles and bitters and
-
naked of our spiritual warfare, a spiritual bondage that is not a plan and
-
a weird of God. Services can wrong, and after that there there's another
-
servance, and after that another service, and by the tiler it gets to
-
be a routine. We're used to hearing the team to love our own change
-
with power of trying to provide a rhythm to our own soults. And as
-
we cry the rooms, I want you to know you can shake them.
-
These change already rot too. That's rhythmic as you desire, But it will
-
bring no inward choice. That won't bring no inward peace. I'm preaching to
-
somebody that you might even be saved and shake the pie and holding us feel
-
that I felt more misery. It is not the plan or the will of
-
God for any child of God to be miserable. And know who your master
-
is. And these people having realize that God BLEVEs their lord, that's when
-
they claim to be their God. The whole time they're in echild and ba
-
ba lah the people about a lot of sin man sing us say, one
-
are the songs of Sidon who took be God the heart. Go to the
-
widow gressions they told them hearts off and tell us how good your God is.
-
I know it's somebody you just standing to day. You do not do
-
your locker singing assault in that wilder gonna say, they're your real and I
-
want you to know victory. It's Lord say and comfort it's coming. It's
-
stop cleansiness, sir. That's to look for for. It's not being trussing.
-
I'm looking for, I said, being comforted by the whole that goes.
-
There's mercy for you, amusement. These Israelites are the children of God,
-
are they not? And they're dealing with things because of their wrongdoings and
-
their actions. They're dealing with things. How many people do you know are
-
dealing with something? I can't believe how many people today are dealing with things,
-
especially those that claim to be the children of God, those that claim
-
to be the people of God that religiously attend worship services, whether there are
-
billboards or science or marquis on the front lawn of those houses of worship where
-
it claims to be the house of God or the Assembly of God, or
-
the Church of God, or the place of the presbytery, or the place
-
of the preacher, or the place of the Man of God. And so
-
why are we facing the things that we're facing. Why are people battling with
-
addiction? Why are people battling loneliness? Why is there disharmony in the home?
-
And the crickets are preaching louder than I'm preaching, and a saying a
-
man the louder than your saying, Amen, this fiding? Come should it
-
be that doesn't be disharmony in the home of god fearing people? And what
-
about problematic and ola years? What about toxic relationships and sadness? Saying?
-
Some are dealing with extreme bouts of our depression. I'm not talking about city
-
somewhere where you feel lonely. I'm talking about lucky through a very dark place.
-
And you're remembering in battle age and you're incessant and routinely and gains in
-
spiritual conflict their warfare, and when you look around, you lib in batle
-
law. Why are you dealing with depression? Oh? Come on, now,
-
I've recently discovered then it is no joy in mine to deal with the
-
age progression. There is no choice at all associated with getting old. And
-
I'm surprised, and how bad I ain't in the morning. I'm surprised the
-
fact that I just cannot hurt it dear to more than six hours and asleep
-
Rother. To your mind, that's what you told me. Then you're mighty
-
young to not be able to vide the rest. Don't come on, I
-
say, okay, though we live on money. To your mind, that's
-
hears his speaking, that you cannot live on the survival and a din servant
-
every now in me just sleep. Look, they're just shine never knowed meal.
-
We need to step fasting of the Holy Ghost. We need a stink
-
of environment that is produce it to peace of the drawing. Sometimes we suffer
-
simply because of the atmosphere that we're trying to thrive in or the environment that
-
we're trying to survive. Brother Samuel, I've seen people before that could have
-
drove an hour or thirty minutes, or two hours or three hours of my
-
brother Wallace twelve hours to the saving of the household. Hey, you can
-
find jobs at about every city of America. The man of God at one
-
time recorded in the Sacred Rich concerning some men that it got weary and well
-
doing, and weary in their warfare, and weary in their wilderness, and
-
they sept the blessings of God's just over yonder. Why shouldn't we sit here
-
and die? Hope? Come on, now, all the money we will
-
spend, and the time and the resources people of God will spind to go
-
to a stop and shut that people, and to put out a noster claim
-
for creature comforts. I want you to know creature comforts. Maybe not,
-
but they're not They're not what we need. It's not propert what the whole
-
God, Lord willing here more and tell that I'll be enjoying some creature comfort,
-
just some good five star rated food. Lord willing in the near future,
-
our vacation again in a nice place, our experience, cause she our
-
experience plus our experience comfort in a world of sense. But brother Philip,
-
as good looking as you are, as handsome as you are, and out
-
of the islands of Dominica. Yesterday morning my phone was left a message,
-
and I listened to it earlierly yesterday morning, and they said, we are
-
praying for the mighty drummer of the Lord, Brother Philip. This lets me
-
know that no matter how good looking we are, no matter our pedigree,
-
no matter our age, we've got to go through something calling chemo. The
-
God can comfort usself in the situation of Keyno, or in our church or
-
in our life. I feel like preaching to you right here this morning.
-
There's too many people. It ruled America, the little villages in township over
-
Caesar, the seemingly have it all. The sister inside the dealer with something
-
more than the age and process. So the dealing with something more, the
-
feeling a little bit unset on it and uneasy about it, or events as
-
an unfold. Don't expect me to get upset. That's the world. It's
-
a way said change it. So because our brother the right that can't text
-
this morning, that said, we can expect the role and the comfort that
-
by his a period that we can expect to the world to comfort us by
-
showing that God saw you, that you found and pray and said, I
-
just can't get it the right they got it. I just don't mess it
-
up. I don't know what's going for me. I want you to know
-
there's nothing wrong with being a child of God. And if you're a child
-
of God, you got to be in very good hands. So the Lord
-
wants to give each one a strength that comforts. Look at your neighbor and
-
say, hey, neighbor, he wants to give you comforting strength. So
-
the Lord wants to give each one in this building and those that are listening,
-
a strength that comforts and assurance. There's been times that I went to
-
prayer concerning a certain situation, such as sister Cheryl's condition, some of the
-
other conditions you all are facing as you try to find your place in this
-
part of the country, and I'll pray, and sometimes the answer that I
-
receive is not exactly what I want to do here or receive. But because
-
I heard of the voice of the Lord, it was comforting to know that
-
he was with me, and it was assuring. I thank God for the
-
comfort and the reassurance that I find in the church house. Your appears in
-
contemporaries will persecute you on the job and say, well, we don't need
-
a crutch called the Church. We don't need to be a crutcher in this
-
world called the Christians. And this is knocker or crutch that I'm leaning on.
-
These are to ever lusting answer and God, and inside there are arms
-
of strength in this place. This morning, I feel like this comforting.
-
That strength can have somebody which are coming to the altar in about thirty minutes
-
and tear you a little while and receive strength that can hold me. Law.
-
I'm telling you, he's the sausa of the streath. No hawk comfort
-
from the presence of the Lord. The Lord is not that guy the standing
-
on the other side of the corner waiting away lay somebody with a ball back.
-
But he is quick to chas and knows whom he loves. He is
-
quick to punish them, and sometimes just through extreme punishment. You look at
-
the children of Israel as they spend some time in Egypt, in the wilderness.
-
They spent some four hundred years. That's up for debate. I have
-
not yet said what I believe, but for simple maths of work, they
-
spent four hundred years over there in that area. And Brother Jeremiah, they
-
no sooner get out of that wilderness. Comfort. In the wilderness, all
-
of the taskmasters of the Egyptians were beating them so bad that they too cried
-
out I'm telling you somebody cried out. Somebody's been crying out. They cried
-
out, and the Lord rose up in the lire, just like God rose
-
up, I said. And this time God rise us up on delivery and
-
raise us up gets them set at liberty, but better Jacob, after they
-
cross the Red Sea, where recklessly they get in another wilderness, and and
-
they won there in the wilderness for forty years. I want us on to
-
become like a bet of Samuel him and I was going to join a dear
-
brother Friday to do sufficient on Lake Casiti, and Brother Samuel said, as
-
we stopped to fill up the truck, he said, Dad, I'm about
-
to celebrate the one year of being genuine to save sat divide that holiness filled.
-
He said. What nobody else knows is the to the story. He
-
said. Our told brother Nathaniel he Wen new Year and rolled over. He
-
said, this is my hear. Hey, I'm gonna get serious with God.
-
I'm gonna get serious about reading about Bible. I'm gonna get serious about
-
person and revival. We didn't have him the branches here. You don't like
-
preaching here, doth bless us up, wonderful preacher so unscheduled, spontaneous for
-
her, It wasn't about to happen in the heart of for and another and
-
another. The end result is here, I said, tell people receive a
-
home a ghost. I'm telling you a comfort, prince suit, not comfern
-
short. So many praise God were again the preacher. He's giving us some
-
message. The who you would think after the people in this world heard about
-
that notable and no worthy revival, and this church would be one of more
-
than seventy between sixty five and seventy, you would think them. Not everybody
-
is looking for this. Not everybody wants to be around the prophets, not
-
me, I'm talking about Isaiah. Not everybody wants to hear what Isaiah has
-
to say. Not everybody wants to take the poultice and put it on their
-
wounds. Not everybody wants to get in the altar and have a good prayer
-
in the altar. Not everybody wants to cease from their sin and die to
-
their sin. But the Lord is still calling these people that have given themselves
-
the immorality. And I'm dooaltry, he said, I'm telling you I have
-
whipped you long enough. I don't know exactly how many lashes they had.
-
Brother, that you're in. My time did not permit me to dig that
-
out. But I know that the whooping they got you was much more superor
-
than any woo and her I've ever got to an. Actually, God got
-
done whipping their hide. And guess what happened. God done a lot,
-
brother Daniel, God said his little girl sister Rebecca. He pulls her up
-
closer, he said. Sometimes when I discipline her properly and ever so slightly,
-
I don't understand it, But she seems to respond to me better.
-
She seems to want to love me more. That's the way we ought to
-
be. It doesn't matter if it was chasing and because that suckingly, God,
-
God does not want to see you destroyed. It is not caused.
-
We know that anybody should pare them. So it's not Todd's geno, and
-
there'll be a toxic relationship. It's not Todds. We that that be disharmedy
-
in that man for you. Then it's not cats me on her that being
-
uneasy and I'm just killing in who you are alive. I want you to
-
know you can bring it to Jeesus. There is this save Witstad. You
-
never seen somebody that's floundering spiritually, And you say, well, all you
-
had, dude, was getting that car and drive thirty minutes. All you
-
had to do was driving out. All you had, dud was driving out
-
in half to our sister how and I just moved to relocate it. All
-
you had to do is just move, brother a J. I know,
-
if it makes sense to some I wasn't familiar with your spiritual warfare. I
-
wasn't familiar with your spiritual wilderness. And to be honest with your brother e
-
J, I have not even permitted you to tell me a whole lot about
-
it. I just accepted that you had talked with a man that was in
-
charge of your life, God and also your pastor, and said I need
-
to make the move. After I asked you, did you talk to God
-
about it? Did you tell your pastor you're leaving? He said I did
-
all of that, And I said, good, My door is open up
-
to you. Oh, come on his pastor in hot time to him out
-
there that there was something that God was doing. Now, I want you
-
to know when God opens the door of your misery prison and he says,
-
I've set you at liberty those who are bound. I've set you at liberty,
-
captives from your captors. You have said breed. You got to embrace
-
it. You're not gonna figure out how the really read better. Jesus washes
-
a sinner, so please. You never figured out how he takes away the
-
sein, but not only the sin to feel out the shame. You'll never
-
figure out how the word of God had the spirit of God say the You'll
-
never figure out how a holy does comforts of the should say that pen of
-
po say your lofe working figure life. But you've just got to advise it.
-
What you mean me? He loves me, He cares about me.
-
You mean preacher God, that were you to preach this because it cares for
-
me? Preaching? That is no way. You know. I've been praying,
-
I've been long now, I've been miserable. I've just got so much
-
on me. I need save in strength, I need comfort and strength.
-
I'm sure these people were tired of being weary. Are the weights of sin,
-
the guilt and the shame. They knew why they were gonna be excellent,
-
And then when they were there, they knew why they were there.
-
How many of you know, God, promoted Daniel while he was living in
-
exile. Every child of God, no matter where you're an actual you don't
-
have to beat the floor incessantly hit yourself sacrificing. I know the apostle Paul
-
said, I beat my silfer black and blue daily. He crucified the blessing.
-
He crucified everything associated. He is spearing of the water. He died
-
daily. That there is nothing you're ever gonna do that is enough to marrit
-
Or heard God salvation, hom I preaching to you not here this morning,
-
faith and Chris is enough and you got to receive it. And I said,
-
not only you have to receive that, you have to believe it.
-
Preacher, is it true? After all of this, after all of this,
-
there's been a blaze in my life, after all this burning down,
-
after all of the aftermath. There's a voice in the wilderness. Pastor,
-
howse got your message? There's a voice in the wilderness. If you're looking
-
at for the chapter, you see there's several different voices there. I have
-
a murder for some good, and I trust that that person is here today.
-
In the port of Chapter Isaiah, we read about her Echols, who
-
are from the land of Israel being held captive in Babilag. These people who
-
claim to be the people of God were displaced from their homeland because of their
-
disobedience. Do you realize that people a lot of times are picked themselves for
-
their own situations and their own surroundings. If I had not made the strategic
-
move has led by God and came to where I'm at today, I am
-
to Gods to I would have lost to these sons that are saved center by
-
men. You're not kidding me, sir, I'm telling you sometimes we suffer
-
him because we prove distance from what Tod said this home. Come on,
-
Lord, you know where to hold me as a whole as where you know
-
long. That's why you get paid. That's where you can't comfort well straight.
-
That's why you press these lf we know, and the fool just saying
-
without everybody can have a bethel, Yes they can. You have to be
-
wise enough to realize the spiritual leadership should be put vided. And if I
-
found myself in a situation we're all did not have a bethel, they did
-
talk my heads up. It's time to lead us. The reason won the
-
wilderness and refusing to possess to promise two hundred years and eat upon me enough
-
turndred years and awareness how to be in love. I talk somebody around.
-
I'm telling you, come on that take. I tured your round. I
-
was driving the church this morning. Well, God said, you're gonna circle
-
back. They ain't gone, They're gonna circle back. That's what that dear
-
sister done Wednesday night. She circle back. My God. It's time we
-
quit circumventing the trees on what works. Somebody will rumatward arthritis. They can
-
circumvent the treatment all they want to. Somebody will cancer, can circumvent chemo
-
all they want to. You can circumvent the preacher and the church and the
-
comfort that assures and the comfort that provides strengths all of you want to come
-
on now? I feel like preach it in just a little while. Help
-
me while I preach a little while, would you do that? The layer
-
wants to get up. That's another revival. I heard from the Grenborough rack
-
to day. I heard from another way. I sure today I heard from
-
Brother Silas Carver today. I heard from other men of God today. But
-
I want you to know they did not have a message for somebody misspell it.
-
They had a message for somebody else. Come on, and I'm telling
-
you have a message. What's up people? You don't have to battle with
-
it. We don't have to face side. You don't have to you,
-
you don't have to circle the blesside. Well, I'm afraid if I get
-
too close. The preachers don't know me. That's okay. The preacher already
-
knows. God already knows. And the preacher is going to have a message
-
for truth. For every message that brings me forth a message of repentance,
-
there's also a message that will bring forth renewal. For every message es you's
-
in. If you would like a sweep, sweeping flood, like a tidal
-
wave conviction, you will also find if you get the whole cake, you
-
will find one that circles around that brings forth comfort. I just get a
-
stump right here. I have a genuine burden for someone, and I feel
-
out they're here today. I have a genuine burden for somebody, and I
-
feel out they're here today. Why were these people facing such hardships Because they
-
had had their eyes on the people of this world. And while they gazed
-
upon the people of this world, and the people of this world's ways.
-
A spirit went into their eyegate, and a spirit went into their ear gate.
-
As they listened and watched to what the other voices were preaching and teaching,
-
and how the people responding to those other voices. I'm asking you this
-
morning, you better drowned out some voices that are starting to speak in your
-
life unless you lose the sound of a shepherd where he ministers to you.
-
Oh, come on, now, that's too deep. I guess andy.
-
They were not seeing properly and they were not hearing properly. This is why
-
the people of God became immoral and it became idolaters. They were having issues
-
and before it was over with that that we're doing like to him News,
-
accepting every religion that comes around. And they were doing like the hind News,
-
everybody's religion will put you in touch with God. They were doing like
-
the hind News. Tell us in listening from India, You've been listening every
-
service, and I want to tell you that we do not serve a lifeless
-
God. We do hear from God and we do preaching a serving that a
-
specific to our people. And I preaching and my brother said her sisters in
-
India I don't care what youru for yourself. I don't care what your mom
-
and daddy says. I don't have to kneel down and pray. I'm not
-
claiming image and it stuck upon save him talking. I don't have to kneel
-
down a coin touchy and expecting you from talking. God tells some I'm God
-
is not dead, I'm prob is a lot, and I'm God is not
-
I'm God is all and I not all pis. The people of God get
-
so alienated from God that they'll fall on their knees in front of a dumb
-
idol and saying, I expect you to provide a miracle for me if he
-
studied the book of Isaiah, and we'll speak of other kids heads. They
-
expected them idols to help them with their fertility issues. They expected them idols
-
to help them make better business deals. They expected them idols to provide for
-
them. You know who their God was, Jehovah, the one that provided
-
the minerals and the jewels and the gold that was in the belly of the
-
earth that those foolish people were cooking out and fashioning their own graven images.
-
I don't have to go to the church where they have fashioned afford of God
-
freedness, God fearing people, where they are fashion But they have thrown out
-
the power. As soon as you poured a sermon or an email or some
-
sort of devotional by one of these great preacher brethren here this morning, and
-
you tell somebody we're missing the power. We need to get a hold of
-
this power immediately they want to alienate you. There is nothing at all stranger
-
amongst the religious people, even Apostle Paul and Peter and Jesus. We're alienated
-
by the worst number one religion to the Ism. The Pharisees did not like
-
her. The fact that somebody said he got the my Tannics and the muss
-
and America. What's a missing the Messida, I'm telling somebody you do real
-
life? Oh God, King don't trust. His name is the mana man.
-
He has stopped. He has stopped for somethingized. It was kepping away
-
when we were in exile, when we were in top Kidning, and right
-
now he's gonna Situa said that predicament. He is still a Manuat, He
-
is still my sight and gardens like down you brother Samuel, when you were
-
preaching a couple of Friday nights ago, I was sitting in a sound bookcase.
-
I got back about five minutes later from a trip, and I'm positive
-
I saw this she kind of glory that I see most services at some point
-
in this building. The one time, we had a brother from Ohio here.
-
His brother had been an atheist and he had got converted and he was
-
living in the basement I believe of a hold in his church. God had
-
led him from atheism into salvation, into sanctification, and of course nominal churches
-
didn't like that. They didn't like him talking about it at the church.
-
So he finds hold in his churches and now he's got embraced Pentecostal lizard.
-
He didn't have any of the gifts of the spirit. He came down here
-
ten years. Ten years. His pastor was whoever, Benny Settlee, and
-
his pastor is a great man of God. But for ten years he'd come
-
here during the winter. I don't know why I'm telling this, but brother
-
Jesse, he'd got to realize that there's suck to these gifts of the spirit.
-
And in one particular service, I was praying over this girl that had
-
a lion's spirit in her. And I tried to be diplomatic and very easy
-
about letting the mom and dad know that God had revealed that to me.
-
And so just kind of I whispered, and I said, I said,
-
God can give to this girl from this line spirit because she's gonna tell that
-
Obama dad, he's going to be bad. He was so mister macho,
-
about six foot four, maybe two hundred pounds. In his spirit, he
-
looked the same. He didn't change his countenance, he didn't copy an attitude,
-
but in his spirit, I felt like he thought it was just a
-
little girl. How could she be possessed with such a spirit? How could
-
she be possessed with that? I just felt like he questioned it just some
-
slight way. And while we were praying, I said, won't be the
-
one that is down to what I just said, because it wasn't my words.
-
God delivered this little girl from this live spirit. And this big six
-
foot forward guy about two hundred pounds gets picked up like a bragg dog and
-
thrown twelve feet across the church and lands upside down on his head. If
-
you saw that, raise your hand. If you were an eyewitness to that,
-
Sister Walker, you saw it. Brother LaRue, you saw it.
-
Brother Philip, you saw it. Brother Jesse, you saw it. Brother
-
Dwayne Harrison saw it. Sister Crystal Harrison saw it. Happened because of the
-
spiritual warfare side inside. He was got an agreement perfectly with what the hole
-
that goos said in that moment. Won't be to the one that does not
-
believe what the preacher's saying. Listen, I didn't toss and turn on my
-
bed last. That's not being led this way for somebody in his way as
-
to the curb and say this is not for me. I'm not telling you
-
your luck the people of Israel that have been exiled because of immorality and idology.
-
But I am telling you there is something bothering you, and you've got
-
to get past it and give over it. I wish somebody saying, these
-
people came to the place they bowed before, craving images. You say,
-
I'll never get there. You let discouragement get the best of you. You
-
will, you get discomforted bad enough? You will? You ask Keith saw
-
about that. Whenever he lost the comfort that assures and the comfort that gives
-
strength, the very people he was doing away with the witches. He goes
-
and has his last meal with the witch of Indoor. That's very unsettling and
-
unnerving for me to realize that a man that some said is he not among
-
the prophets, not's not the spirit of God's shaking him. I'm telling you,
-
there's nothing at all wrong with somebody getting in the altar and praying for
-
a while. Here's what we do nowadays, coming, brother Caleb. Somebody
-
tries to pray for us, and as soon as they lay their hand on
-
us, we move and won't we get up and we're done praying, because
-
we don't want them thinking we're under them. We don't want them thinking then
-
we've got a problem. We try to save facing. Why don't you get
-
saving grace and forget about saving facing. There's been times, even me,
-
as the pastor, I'm wave right over here on the floor, face down,
-
and said, God, if I cannot get your help up, there's
-
no way we'll get through this. The preachers will walk past me. A
-
little while ago, as I was getting ready to preach, I said,
-
Hell, God, here we go again. I cannot Did I not say
-
that I couldnot do this? I need not have the words. I need
-
not have this spirical that I need but don't. God got a shiers,
-
had a God to come out street, and a God of all comfort,
-
and a God of all peace. Up well hop with? So who is
-
it amongst us this morning? It's face of the problems of life. Let's
-
earnestly plead. Let's earnestly entreat the Lord rather than bow before dumb and death
-
hones, Oh God, this was an offense to God, and their immorality
-
and idolatry led them into captivity. How do you know that your resistance to
-
do what God has pushed you to do will not lead you in the captivity?
-
How do you know the refusal? I believe it was brother or sister?
-
Would somebody recently responded to a text in that group message. They said,
-
if people would just do what God told them to do? You remember
-
that, brother? Would? Somebody said, if people would just do what
-
God told them to do and make the necessary adjustments and moves in their life,
-
they would not face some of the things that they're facing. You know
-
what, I don't know what would happen to sister Hannah? Howise she moved
-
an hour north of here, an hour south of here, two hours south
-
of here. But if within my power I can help, come on.
-
It's the truth, it's the truth. I don't know how Saul got to
-
that situation. I don't know how he got there other than rebellion, stubbornness,
-
and disobedience. I know we're hungry. I know we want to go,
-
so I keep preaching or stocking. But we don't feel like God's a
-
God of punishment. We don't feel like God's a God of persecution doing.
-
Even though the Bibles that all that live God in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution,
-
and all that live God in Christ Jesus shall be punished for the wrong
-
doing. Anybody that loves their child will punish them. Come on, if
-
you have Bibles over and look at verse number five through verse number eight of
-
that thirty nine chapter. Look at that verse just before our golden texts Isaiah
-
forty eighth, chapter number one. Isaiah had told Hezekiah, the King of
-
Judah, that hard times are forthcoming. And look at it, Isaiah thirty
-
nine and six. Behold the day's cod up. Today's come, the days
-
of hardship, the days of warfare, the days of the wilderness. They're
-
coming persecution, punishment because of what you're doing. And he said, all
-
that is in the house, everything that you've laid up in store, and
-
everything you've stowed away, I'm paraphrasing, it shall be carried away. In
-
the Bablon, nothing shall be left. I'll say. A prophesied and said
-
that the sons of his Akaiah shall be come unit. So in Bablon,
-
Wait a minute, who is his Akiah? He's the king of junior.
-
His lineage is posterity. He's supposed to rule over the random tudor head.
-
And the Bible said that God said, your sons will be castrated. And
-
I'll let you to know our children to not be here to prove steriously in
-
any way. We shu bring fath fruit and our reamind and we should not
-
be with enough in tactivity. It's loneliness. If just despair is a toxic
-
relationship? Are part i iss horley in the hall? This not talks me
-
all the to me for this lad with God and has a ki the one
-
that had been healed during the service, the one that had put that poultice
-
to the wound. He says, good are the words of the Lord.
-
That's not good what's good about it? Everything you've stowed away and right up
-
in store will be taken away. The things of the House of Come,
-
the instruments of the House of Come, the blessings within the House of God,
-
including your children, of your life. They'll be consternrated. Everything will
-
be taken away. And has a cod said we're good, then it wasn't
-
so concerning me. I could not imagine preachruemus stand up and up pooping and
-
saying it's okay that I'm making it. Tell that it's not okay that my
-
children, I'm not making that. What's good about it? What's good about
-
that? You'll tell me? Somebody tell me something good about that. That's
-
selfishness, selfishness and stubbornness a sin. I'm telling you, I've got so
-
much more to prints fried chicken sounding good to somebody. My children being units
-
and pablon is not the answer. Your children losing their children and their grandchildren,
-
You losing your family is not enough. I'm gonna share this. We
-
have a full time evangelists headquartered out of this church. Recently they've made their
-
assurance and their allegiance to us definite. I'm telling you we were out eating,
-
and they said, Pastor, I just want you to know we're with
-
you. We see what God's done, we see the fruits on the tree.
-
And since they have left and went back out, they have received a
-
wonderful word of assurance concerning one of their daughters. And then they text me
-
a few days ago and said their other daughter had somewhat drifted spiritually that's an
-
opinion of some and was attending a different type of church. There was not
-
a holiness or a sanctified church. And they said, Brother Brock said Brother
-
ej that their daughter would listening. Nathan and their children loaded up and went
-
to a country church somewhere out there in the country went to church with them.
-
Now, I'm telling you it matters who you're associated with. It matters
-
who you're affiliated with. These people could hear from Isaiah. Hey, you
-
know that's true. Not everybody had in Isaiah at this time. But if
-
you've got in Isaiah and you've got a spirit of God speaking to you and
-
you're blessed and you've found something, you better hold on to it. Now.
-
Oh I'm talking, I don't care a little bit of know it.
-
I'm growing out home. Guess there right now. Why no world? Would
-
you set it for good? At least I'm gonna make it a heaven.
-
Why what did I say, I've got that good such a lace ship went
-
Todd. Let my son come home. Bro, My father had come home.
-
Even the woman and recognize ue who the prophet was that passed by way.
-
She said, let's build him a place. Because of her posterity,
-
because of her prosperity. It had to be. You can't throw the preacher
-
out. I was preaching the message a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday
-
night. They told me it's going everywhere. What was the title of that
-
message? Said? You fire the prophets twenty twenty vision. Oh, I
-
see it now after the aftermath, after the devastation. In the last twenty
-
minutes of that message, Brother Waller said, I've been in Pentecostal church fifty
-
something years. I've been to some of the biggest and the best camp meetings
-
through off the landing, he said, But I've never seen the Holy Ghost
-
move her in that kind of manner. I don't know why God was spiringful
-
the vessel that night. I don't know what God was mindful on that prophet
-
isail. It means up House, and he was telling them and mindful of
-
you. And I don't want to tell my sister and my brother this morning.
-
God is mindful of you. Now. It's not okay that you be
-
fruitless, Mama, Daddy, preacher, associate preacher, pastor preachers. There's
-
twelve of you, the preachers overseas. It's affiliating first associated with us.
-
Preacher. It's not okay that it's good for us. And we got pensions,
-
paychecks and parsonages, wall of which I do not have. It's not
-
good enough that you have a position. What we need is a word from
-
the Lord and Mama that baby can tell when you're lifeless. And I don't
-
want nobody's husband or wife to go home to preach to them. I don't
-
want anybody to make family turn on any worse. I don't want anybody to
-
rock the boat. I'm not want you to tell your probably go sons and
-
daughters at the church and say, hey, Pastor House said this and said
-
that I've said anything. The only thing I've said is there is comforting strength
-
and comforting assurance that is in this text right here, no matter how far
-
out they've gone or no matter how far as you've gone, it doesn't matter
-
the distance that you've alienated yourself from God. God is there to help you.
-
What I'm saying is comfort yet comfort Ye, I'm sure Isaiah had a
-
better understanding of what the nation is you had done than I do. Then
-
what's in this writing, brother Sterot, what's in this writing is appalling.
-
It's embarrassing that people who call themselves the people of God would be in such
-
a condition. Your children can see you, mom and dad, preacher,
-
since the pastor all of you preachers, missionaries, your children can see it
-
when you ain't got it. All of you know, when that preacher gets
-
the bar and preaches, you can tell he's preached that fiftieth time, and
-
you can tell it ain't sermon specific. How do you know that? Because
-
the altars are burying? Tie this together? The Bible speaks often about baron
-
altars, meaning there's no sacrifice, there's no humbling, there's no ubility,
-
there's no change. As I know, our churches got to where they taken
-
the altars out of the churches and there's no longer altar services that y'all know
-
that. Why because they don't want to sacrifice. Is that our reasonable service?
-
That we present our bodies unto God, a living sacrifice, holy acceptablee
-
to God. That's our reasonable service. We can reason that that's smart.
-
That's a good thing to do. And brother Jesse, Brother Jesse, when
-
you get that new church built, the platform is gonna be a lot higher
-
than this one. You see. I like the risk. If you see
-
that, I'm a risk of God, Brother Christ you probably know this is
-
while we're fishing. I like to stand right on the edge of the boat.
-
I know the ways are coming, and I know it's probably just a
-
matter of time before I get knocked in. But hey, I just went
-
and I got a life tracking on. But I like living life on the
-
edge. You see me rather appreciated, Get it, pre but you should
-
not be living lifeful To add spiritually, all sweet Lamb of God, Isaiah
-
can tell what's going on. Isaiah understands that there's been a collapse boorly and
-
spiritually. I'm not saying that your condition, but these people have been rebelling,
-
rebelling against God and their sin and carried them into captivity. But if
-
you look, even though it's so bleaked, the preacher gets annoying it,
-
and does what brother jeremy house doing this morning? Comfort ye, comf ye
-
sweet Lamb of God, as shout material and then God calls them sons and
-
daughters. Comfort ye, my people, saith your God. And he goes
-
o to speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem and cry unto her that her warfare is
-
accomplished, that her iniquity is part of for that she has received in the
-
Lord Hens trouble for all for sin. These people are about to find help.
-
Can you hear it? Can you hear it? I hear it's coming
-
from the horizon. Somebody in this fielding to be able to testify this tirement
-
next year. I got my help, I got what I needed. I
-
was comforted. The Lord is making a way for them to escape the situation.
-
Comfort and strength is and right to bring forth deliberance. Sin is soon
-
to be abolished, and alone with it to paralyze, and guilt and shame
-
will be abandoned. That's shout with terry right there, brother Roquet. And
-
what about our cotext concerning the woman of Samaria who met Jesus at the well?
-
Our brother read John chapter number four, verses number twenty eight, twenty
-
nine. The Bible said the woman then left her water pot and went her
-
way into the city, and said to the men, come see a man
-
which told me all things that ever I did, is not this the Christ?
-
You know she left more than the water pot that day, right,
-
the Bible said, she left behind her water pot. You know what the
-
children is when we're gonna leave behind some other things, wrote the children of
-
is Norm and this woman of Samaria, they left behind some ill, they
-
left behind, some shame, they left to hide, some shin. Wouldn't
-
it be wonder part for somebody to leave her some things behind her? This
-
all? And I want to answer the thought of somebody's mind right now.
-
Yes, I know you, Yes, I know what you're dealing with.
-
Yes, I'm familiar with you. I'll say you knew his people too.
-
What is the thought of that? Yes, I'm familiar with your circumstances and
-
situ Wait when you barely make it the church, and it took a miracle
-
to get the mattress off your back, and you're struggling. You can't left
-
up holding hands without wrapping down. And I don't think it's just past the
-
mile that sees it. I didn't ball. He brother Philip can see it.
-
I think they'll talk that Danny can see it, Brother Danny, I
-
got to everybody could see it. Well, you know my circumstances and my
-
situation. Yeah. You ever been by jail, a county jail. Yeah,
-
I can see when somebody's in captivity. I can see when they can't
-
thet them holding hands without laughing. Now I can see somebody has cut their
-
wrists tethered to their ankles. I want it, crazy, but I can't
-
for this guilt and the same the cod said, you want to paint double
-
for you wanted, lost enough sleep for you, but you want to be
-
missing the novel. Yeah, I want you tempered gyee tumfert yee, I
-
fella happy. Is Bet a woman? She left the whale at the hottest
-
time of the day because she was ashamed of being a seed and puppet.
-
But she found her off in a desert place, spiritually a hot time of
-
the day. There's water here, she would say, But it is not
-
enough to quich my thirst, my inner thirst. I'm a deep ditch.
-
I'm not satisfied. I'm not getting this. I'm telling you, if you
-
do your Bible you understand what I'm saying. But she was not satisfied.
-
But when this man came, she wasn't silisfied. Now I said, it's
-
coming, It's coming. Your life here will tell on the horizon that comfort
-
is coming. I said, Comper's coming. Your life. Living water begin
-
to bubble up inside of her, brother Samuel, I have felt in as
-
out treats this morning, strength to starting to bubble up, forgiveness, wholeness,
-
and peace. The learn did not leave her in her terrible situation.
-
And there's there's someone here in this building this morning dealing with some things.
-
These people were gone through some of the things that you're going through. This
-
woman up to well somewhere, she had gone through some things, you know
-
what. She had gone through several husbands and once she had then was not
-
her own. Well. Want to let me know how that chicken taste says,
-
y'all want it so bad. But I'm interested in how this right here,
-
taste old taste can see that that sacrifice is good, The supreme sacrifice
-
is good. Getting an altar is good. My son Nathaniel was telling me
-
he was at what we considered to be a prominent church within our movement,
-
and he said that he was just over there, just in the spirit,
-
praying because of the back sliding condition of youth group people in that church.
-
He said, because I to spending some time with those people, I realized
-
just how back sliding they were, where their innu windows and some of the
-
things they said, some of the things they did, how they didn't have
-
a love for God, didn't have there alive, no Bible, red plan.
-
He said, I'm over there and praying. He said, I'd get
-
the spirit. Heaven came down, brother, than you said in a way
-
like you couldn't imagine. He said, I was interceding and supplicate for them
-
people and just pouring my heart out. Tears were flowing down brother Jesse.
-
Sweat was upon his brown. He said, I was literally in the spirit.
-
And then come to brother Jesse, he said that he's pasture. Come
-
over here and tempt you want the passion over the shoulder and said, hey,
-
brother Nathaniel, it's on the order of the bullet. It's okay.
-
Don't worry about it. What you could get him now and shull have church.
-
Brother Nathania said, I wouldn't praying anything through I wouldn't asking God to
-
forgive me an habitual sin or addiction or anything. He said, by us
-
there and I was praying for them in their religion. I was praying for
-
them and their deception and their misery and their angry. And he said,
-
hey, that's okay. They don't like sacrificing. They don't light terran and
-
the altar. That's the same thing. And that he got the hold of
-
ghost. We were somewhere else. God to ship me and sip ob as.
-
I drove about twelve hours knowing my son and get the Holy Ghost.
-
Guy had to obey God. You've got to obey God. I mean twelve
-
hours I drove. I told sister have before we left the house. God
-
said, do it this way. He'll fill with Brother Nathaniel with the Holy
-
Ghost. And Brother Nathaniel was praying fervently. That's the prayerth that ofvels much.
-
He was praying passionately. He was praying fiery. I mean he was
-
just wailing out, crying out, Oh God, and a brother come over
-
there. It's one of the season of evangelists within our movement. I'm not
-
down on our movement. But he said, Brother Nathaniel really take it.
-
Easy, God, here's your money. God loves you, God to you,
-
and just pouring in the honey and the syrup. And I sit there
-
and I said, hey, brother, with all new respect, whatever it
-
takes for him to get the Holy Ghost. And that brother kind of waiting
-
back up, and he let brother Nathaniel do what he knew he needed to
-
do. You know what, that brother wasn't able to praying through. But
-
I watched some other brothers up that my son when men as well a praying
-
mother. Nathaniel tou thrond of the Holy Ghost, and I'm getting this hot.
-
We you this morning, and we will pray you until he pie talk
-
with each stray. It's not God's will that somebody sit in bondage in the
-
House of God over a preacher that's got a problem with flip flok. The
-
Bible said in the words of Jesus, actually he said, you will put
-
heavy burdens upon heavy burdens upon the shoulders of these lords. You won't even
-
lift them with your little finger. I told some of them self righteous people
-
several years ago, I said, I guarantee you, Jesus cost the son
-
of God who had no place to call home, who didn't have nothing more,
-
just a few changing the garment. I said, I guarantee you he
-
weren't preaching her. And Stacy Adam said, or her floor as shime.
-
I'll come on. What's that better man? Jumpsy? Murphy chockson and Murphy
-
I said, no, the sun God he had tench and dirty feet up
-
and he walked up. He threw this ward and sounds up. There's too
-
many people under spiritual oppression because somebody took contradition and they throve too far.
-
They're founding them right through you. That I'm killing you. The copper in
-
the copper thing A proud pass never caused anybody to box like a press thinks
-
the out of you gonna call it anybody to beholding. Wash your hands before
-
you eat that corny stupid stof missing the point. The long point was Moses
-
levitical code was he you wouldn't ask yourself up And Jesus said, you guys
-
are looking at the outside, you need to look on the inside. I
-
believe in promoting holiness. I believe in modesty. I believe in being decent
-
and in order concerning dress and worship, and I believe in doing everything with
-
all of our mind. Let me ask you something. If you're putting on
-
a skippy outfit, you're doing it with all your mind. How much effort
-
does it take? We need to go, I need to go in some
-
cheese and crab bit. Does everybody loves Jesus or not? I'm telling somebody
-
comfort, cheating, comforts, seating. My wife's uncut hair does not save
-
her. My wife's long sleeves and long dresses do not save her, no
-
matter who box us, because she likes to wear them along. Well,
-
I remember when she wore mighty short, when she wore them a whole lot
-
shorter than what a lot of these people are getting their thrill and their spiritual
-
time of rebey and wearing a mid is? And what are you talking about
-
right now? I'm just talking about there are reasons why we get driven into
-
exile of Babylon. There are spirits that come in these gates, these eye
-
gates, and these aircakes. There are things that influence us. Does anybody
-
the Lord Jesus in the brother Tyler, I can keep breaking another hour,
-
but I don't want The people had gone through some things. This woman at
-
the well Brother road cap she had gone through a few husbands. I'll try
-
another one. I'll try another one. No satisfaction? Was it Mitch Jagger
-
just saying I can't get no satisfaction him one of them hard ruckers, Bud.
-
When I got saved, I felt satisfaction. There's no doubt and all
-
in my mind that these were some difficult days in years for some people.
-
In the third verse of the fortieth chapter of I said, here in echo,
-
can you hear, it's the voice of hope, Brother Jesse. Go
-
to that back hallway for that self righteous person that's trying to pick my sermon
-
apart. You don't like illustrations, and Apostle Paul was ministering, you first
-
start reading your Bible. For secondly, Apostle Paul was preaching, and this
-
prophet named Agubu was coming in. While it's preaching. He said, with
-
these you're gonna go bown. That's an illustration if I've ever seen work and
-
Jesus preaching given all the mental illustrations, saying behold, I saw I went
-
forth. So probably off in the distance was the farmer that didn't care anything
-
about the gospel seed and was walking out of the barn with a satual seed.
-
I love what I feel. But suddenly there was an echo, a
-
voice of hope. Comfort you, Comfort you, comforte working. You talking
-
about a drink of fresh water. You talking about a breath of fresh air
-
when you're in the hot as blazes, when you're in the wilderness and you're
-
in warfare in the distance. Isaiah was prophesied at the time of the coming
-
of the Lord, there would be a voice heard in the mister, spiritual
-
warfare. When religious nuts had taken over todays of self righteous creatures had taken
-
over that religion. The Romans had taken over the world, and it's just
-
total chaos and calamity. And out there in the wilderness is a creature with
-
crazy hair, wearing camel's firm in his pockets, locus and wild honey.
-
He's munching on locus and wild honey and talking full of locus. I wish
-
I had it right now to Egypt. He wasn't in Palace Hall, he
-
wasn't in conscience Palace. Where is that voice coming from. It's not the
-
upper room. It's not that February Revival at twenty twenty three. No,
-
it's that first week of February twenty twenty four, when I'm in warfare,
-
when I'm in a wilderness. Then I thought, I just can't give it
-
anymore. I just can't take it any bold. I just don't messing up.
-
There's something wrong with me. And don't we all of this? Did
-
you hear that the woman at the well, she would say, come see
-
man that told me everything I did? And ISAAA could say did? I'll
-
not tell you, God show me everything you did. But let's stand.
-
Can you hear the voice of hope, the voice of deliverance, the force
-
of mercy has one word comfort. It's the worse of one crying in the
-
wilderness. Be living an exile. Preacher makes me feel like I'm in a
-
desert. It's as hot as plasis. It's the daytime, and I'm still
-
miserable. I'm so thirsty. It's the church service, but still so thirsty.
-
Oh your solf thirsty. You're in a warning us. You're so weary,
-
You're in the water of your life. What the Bible is saying to
-
you. You can be comforted no matter what situation you're in. The Apostle
-
Paul talked about hardships that would come back to the church a treat persecution that
-
will come, and punishment that would come to the sinner's persecution that will come
-
to the saint. And first, as lorne As chapter number four, brother
-
Jesse, come to the pan, And the Bible says, for the Lord
-
himself shall descend from heaven with a shall, with a voice of the archangel,
-
and with the trump of God, and the dead of Christ shall rise.
-
First. Then we which are alive and remain, shall be called up
-
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And
-
so shall we ever be with the Lord. And listen to this last verse.
-
Wherefore, comfort one another with these words. Let's spare our heads and
-
close our eyes this morning. I suspect I've preached now for an hour and
-
fifteen minutes. Try my best to provide comfort, not cush not cushy,
-
not cozy. I'm thinking you all, we get the comfortable in this life.
-
But He has promised to provide you with comfort and strengths. If you're
-
in this building this morning and I preach to you, would you raise your
-
hand. There's one, two, three, four, five, six of
-
a forever. If you would do me a favor again, I clarify you're
-
not guilty of sin. I did not feel that, but you're so uncomfortable.
-
Want you to get in the altar, and I want everybody else to
-
stay behind. If you raise your hand and you're brave enough, I must
-
say in your sin. If you're one of these and raised your hand,
-
now, I want everybody else to remain in your pew for a second.
-
They're not gonna bear these burdens alone. Y'all. Just find a place that
-
knew those of you that raised your hand. Now, I want you to
-
look, everybody. Look from the left to the right. There's more than
-
ten. There's other people that admitted after we raised their hand. Evident.
-
I want you to help bear their burden. I want you to find somebody
-
to pray with. I don't know what these are dealing with. That eye
-
prob a message of comfort for them today. Find somebody to pray with it
-
for a while. Comfort. Comfort is coming. We're gonna stay courage.
-
Comfort as comfort. Sister, staying courage. You can be comforted by move
-
the Holy Ghost. You can be comforted by the promises of the Lord.
-
You can be comforted. You don't have to be coasy. You don't have
-
to be cushion. H but you can be comforted. That's it. That
-
is yes, said help us on the way. Comfort is gone. Jesus
-
is coming. Jesus is coming. Help is only way. Help us here,
-
all, help us right here, right now, you'll find much for
-
