Baby Ruth (Baby Dedication) - Bro Jeremy Howell 4-7-2024

Lord, aren't you glad to be in the House of the Lord this morning?

Does anybody know what day of the week it is? Sunday? Sundays?

What day of the month is it the seventh, the seventh of April?

We're fixing the dedicate baby, Ruth, the daughter my brother Nathaniel Howard's

sister Rachel Howard. Aren't you thankful this morning that this baby's parents have the

same last night? And you're so blessed to be raised in an atmosphere and

an environment that's conducers to doing things promptly. But sometimes things happen, People

mess up, they make mistakes, and I'm glad they're in the hand of

the Master that can fix the broken things and the broken people. Aren't you

thankful for that? But this child is blessed that there wasn't born into a

divided home. I want to get the primary class to come up here,

if they will, And their teacher says the hand to take a microphone in

hand. I wanted to sing that song goes like this, Jesus loves the

little children. How many of you know He loves all children, no matter

their color, no matter their IQ level, no matter their background, no

matter what, he loves them unconditionally, and I'm thankful this morning that he

loves these little children. I want them to sing that song as we get

ready to dedicate baby Bruth, which y'all sing that specious sus Susan copecious scenes

said, specious scenes and praise the Lord. Brother Nathaniel, Brother Jesse,

grab a microphone, you'll need it here momentarily. Again, We're glad you're

in the house of the Lord this morning. It is so good to see

brother and sister Woods Senior from Beams of Lighthole Iness Church and Cantolemon, Florida.

It's good to see them here this morning. I want to say again

it is so good that we have an opportunity to dedicate baby Ruth Howell unto

the Lord. And this is not to slide anyone, not at all,

but it is certainly a blessing for this child to know that its parents have

the same last name. That is the will of God, that is the

proper way to go about things. But again I will say, I'm so

thankful for them children being in the hand of the Master. All of these

children, every last one of them. I want you to turn with me

to the Book of Ruth. Turn with me to the Book of Ruth.

The Book of Ruth is a favorite amongst most women within Christendom. The Book

of Ruth is a favorite of most women within Christendom. There is a reason

for that. The story inside of this blessed book of the Bible will move

anyone who reads it. I'm convinced of that because of the character whom this

book is named after, Ruth. She was certainly a precious lady. I'm

inclined to call her a little lady, but I don't know if she was

little or not. She was a momab this woman. I don't know how

her stature was, if she was a big mama or a little mama.

I do know this, and she was not a Jew. She was not

a Jewish person. These little children just singing a song to us or the

Lord. It's title Jesus Loves the Little Children. The Book of Ruth itself

is evident that God loves all people, and not only Jewish people. Can

I take a moment to insert something here, A word of knowledge might be

imparted to some body that needs it. I want you to listen to this

carefully. There is a trend among Pentecostal and the holiness people today to promote

Israel, to promote Israel. And if you'll listen to what they are saying,

they don't know what they're saying. They act like there needs to be

a church in Israel, that Israel as a nation needs to accept the Messiah.

But what people have forgot because they're not students of the Bible, nor

are they students of history. But there are Messianic Jews still living in Israel.

In fact, the church that you all are part of, that you

have been grafted into, began amongst the Jewish people, the great Apostles,

we could name them all. They were all Jewish Men. In fact,

whenever Apostle Paul, who enjoyed the pleasures of dual citizenship, he came into

Jerusalem to visit the brother Church, he visited Jewish brethren. You're finding the

New Testament issue after issue that Apostle Paul was dealing with. Because these Jewish

Messianic Christians believers, they believed that Jesus was in fact the Messiah. They

accepted that. They lean quite heavily on Judaism and the teaching of Judaism because

that's what they had came out of So does everybody understand this? Now?

There are still good Pentecostal Rock solidd churches and Holiness churches. In fact,

the Orthodox Jews. I've been around a lot of them over the last two

weeks. From Surfside, Florida all the way to Sunny Isle Beach. There's

a lot of Jews. Is densely populated with Jewish people. In fact,

if you go into some of the supermarkets or grocery stores there, I would

say at least eighth one sixth of that store is devoted to the Kosher way

of doing things. They cater to the Jewish people. Everywhere you look,

they're wearing their little hats. They thought my wife and Sister Hanna and Sister

Elizabeth were Jewish women, meaning they believed as the Jews did. Until they

saw Brother Nathaniel and I walking around, I mean Brother Philip and I walking

around in our ball caps. They were so terribly disappointed that we had not

denied Jesus as Messiah. I believe that Jesus is Messiah. Now I want

to warn the American Christian people we have grossly aired. We need to understand

there are still saved sanctified and holy ghosts filled Jewish people. But we have

this mentality that we're waiting on a church to be built over there. That's

already happened. Jesus said, upon this rock, I shall build my church,

meaning upon myself I will build, and the gates of Hell will not

prevail. It gets it when Peter got the Holy Ghost, when Philip received

the Holy Ghost, when Luke the Beloved Physician documented the wonderful things that these

men had done, everybody knew the Jews had established, through the power of

Jesus Christ, the Christian Church. So just because you don't see those people

over there doesn't mean they're not there. It's just like holiness of been Acostal

people are few and far between. Have y'all figured that out yet? In

fact, up until two weeks ago, somebody could have told me that there

are a lot of Jewish people in the United States, and I would have

said that's unlikely. I doubted. But after spending five solid days over on

the East Coast from Surfside, Florida all the way up to Sunny Isle Beach

and seeing synagogue after synagogue, Hebrew school after Hebrew school seminary, I mean

big, beautiful Jewish temples. Brother phillipsaid, I've never seen anything in the

world like this that's beautiful. And guess what, because there's a conflict over

there in Palestine between Israel and Gaza. And let me insert this nugget of

truth and knowledge of wisdom. When has that ever stopped? I've heard it

every three years. Oh Jesus is about to come back Israel war. That's

been happening. People read too many books, and these writers like John Hagy

and those guys, they're making a fortune by getting people to not read their

Bible and look at pertinent details and information in the Bible. And they're they're

reading these books and they're looking for sign after sign after sign after sign after

sign. I believe in the coming of the Lord. I believe the Lord

is soon to return. I'm excited about it. I believe it's imminent.

I believe it's about time for him to come. I believe it's coming is

upon us. We're living in the very last of the end time. Do

y'all believe that I'm telling you the closing out of this day and hour,

this age, it's about over. But you know what, we went over

there and there's Jews, I mean everywhere everywhere you look. Is that not

right, sister? Howell if you go in Starbucks, there's Jews in there

with their hats on. The women wear dresses, they will not put on

a pair of pants. I mean, it looks like a whole in his

convention over there, a modern hole in his convention because the dresses are a

little shorter, they've got manicures and pedicures, their hair is trimbled a little

bit. It looks like a modern hole in his convention. I'm about to

get in trouble right here. It doesn't look like an old holiness convention of

what I remember, like yesteryear. But there's a lot of Jewish people over

there. They don't believe in the Messiah. They don't believe that. I

mean, they believe that he's coming, but they don't believe that he is

Canes. They don't believe that Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary,

was he, he was the son of God, he was deity. But

over there there are Jewish people and brothers and sisters. They believe that they

are God's chosen people. I'm telling you, they look down on everybody else.

Their synagogues, their temples, and their shrimes are guarded by swat teams

because there's a conflict on going over there in Israel. I'm telling you you

wouldn't believe how heavily guarded. It looks like the places under siege, does

it, not, Brother Philip. I mean they brought their war over here

because they're afraid of the Muslims and the Muslim radicals and the terrace and extremists

coming over there and blowing up their synagogue, their temple. That there's some

nervous about it. They brought their war and their conflict from over there over

here. I mean, if you focused your writings and your thought on that

particular geographical location between Surfside, Florida and Sunny Isle's Beach, you could spend

the next thirty year writing about that stuff. What I want to hold to

is what is written in the Blessed Book of God. Men are reading too

many books, But my point was the Book of Ruth itself is evident that

God loves all people. He loves Jews, and he loves gentiles. He

loves those guys and girls over there on the East coast that will not eat

bacon. And God loves you, all the bacon eaters. Do y'all believe

that that's what makes this book so special? We see that God loves all

people, not only Jewish people, not only Pentecostal people. He loves people

of every color and every nationality. Every person in this world is in the

scope of salvation and redemption. Do y'all believe that every person within this world

is within the God of salvation and redemption? Phraise the Lord. Brother Nathaniel,

would you turn with me to the Book of sob Mad. Direct your

attention to chapter number one, twenty seven, Versus number three and five.

Brother Jesse, Proverbs chapter number twenty three. You'll be reading Versus number twenty

four and twenty five, And Beloved, you've figured it out by now you've

already turned there. We will be looking at the Book of ruth Mad.

Direct your attention to the second chapter and the tenth through the thirteenth Versus will

be our golden text this morning. If you saved and you know it,

say amen. If you like baby dedications, say amen. We're gonna slow

it down just a little bit this morning due to the fact that we are

having this baby dedication ceremony. Brother Nathaniel sam chapter number one, twenty seven

Versus number three through five. Please, my brother, little children, our

heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward,

as arrows are in the hand of it, as arrows are in the hand

of a mighty man. Story the children of the youth, Happy is the

man that hap is quiver full of them. They shall not be ashamed,

but they shall speak with the enemy, and the gate Amen, and the

church says, amen. Do y'all believe that that the fruit of the womb

is his reward? Brother Jesse, Proverbs chapter number twenty three Versus number twenty

four and twenty five. The Father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice, and

he that beginneth a while a wise child shall have joy of him. Thy

father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

There is no reason at all for any child to grow up and become

a living terror in this world. There's no reason at all, for that

is the parent's fault. And that verse of Brother Jesse. Just read to

us. Lets us know they can be a blessing to us, and they

can cause great joy to be in our lives. Just like Ruth did to

mat Naomi. She was certainly a blessing and the heritage of the Lord.

Let's pray can we do that right now? Heavenly Father, we love and

we praise you. We thank you for the opportunity to dedicate baby Ruth.

I. Thank you for Brother Nathaniel and sister Rachel. I, thank you

for the Bethel Holiness Church. We pray God that you would help us in

this time of service, that we would dedicate this child back to you,

Lord, that you have given to brother Nathaniel's, sister Rachel and us.

We want to give it back to you. Blest those that are here this

morning, each and everyone, and bless their grandparents in the family of Ruth.

In Jesus' name, we pray. The Church said, Amen, look

at that second chapter, verses number ten through thirteen with me, will you

please? The Bible said. Then she fell on her face and bowed herself

to the ground and said, unto him, why have I found grace in

thine eyes? That thou should hast taken knowledge of me, seeing I am

a stranger. And Bo has answered and said it to her, it hath

fully been shooting me all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since

the death of thine husband, And how thou hast left thy father and thy

mother and the land of thy nativity, and aret coming to a people which

thou knewest not Heretofore the Lord recompense or reward thy work, and a full

reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wing thou

art come to trust. Then she said, and let me find favor in

thy sight, my Lord, or that thou hast comforted me. And for

that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not liked unto

one of thine handmaid Thank you for standing for the reading of our golden texts

this morning. Our text is found in an Old Testament book of the Holy

Bible, the Book of Ruth. As we place thumb to page and divide

the bread of life, and as we hold this precious handful of purpose in

our hands this morning, I want you to think of this special character before

us, the wonderful lady, the woman of God, Ruth. In other

words, as you open your Bible and you turn to the first verse of

the first chapter of this book, think with me on Ruth. We dedicate

Baby Ruth this morning. She's a baby right now, but she will one

day become a lady. This morning we'll call her Baby Ruth, and I

want to preach a sermon the Holy Ghost titled Baby Ruth. But I believe

at some point in her life she will be known as Lady Ruth. How

many of you know that it's hard to find a real lady in this world

nowadays. I can name some things that you can find, but in order

to remain proper in the pulpit, I will refrain from naming some things that

you can find in the world today. But here amongst holiness people and Pentecostal

people who prize and cherish modesty and purity of heart and body, who protect

themselves from the influences of this world, those that guard their hearts and minds,

you can find a good woman among a thousand. King Solomon looked for

a lady, but it was unable to find one. We realized this part

of that Brother Nathaniel and Sister Rachel holding their arms today Baby Ruth. But

one day this precious woman, should God, Terry and God permit her to

have a long life, she will be known as Lady Ruth, a loving,

kind, compassionate, friendly person. Brother Samuel Howell, you're her uncle,

and I want you to know that we, as family members, we

have a strong influence on the lives of those within our immediate circle. Bethel

Hole and his church. You are baby ruth church family, and I want

you to know, as her church family, you will have a strong influence

on her upbringing. But there will be no greater influence in the life of

Baby Ruth than that of her parents. It is true that the pastor will

greatly influence a child, and thus we understand the importance of being in the

right church and under the right ministry and the right leadership. But the pastor

will always play second fiddle to the parents when it comes to bringing up the

children. The Bible said, parents, bring your children up in the nurture

and the admonition of the Lord. A lot of times we push off the

responsibility that is ours as parents. We shove it into the hands of ministry

teams such as pastors, preachers, Sunday school teachers, and we say,

here's my child, here's this wreck of a life, here's this mess that

I've made, And we do so so late in life, and sometimes too

late. The Bible said concerning parents that they should chasten their children quickly,

be times account to three. Sometimes is enough one warning? Sometimes is enough?

Is it not? I remember yesteryear, I remember the upbringing of my

parents. I remember my upbringing. I seen and witness the upbringing of my

children. When Daddy said no, he meant no. When Mama said yes,

she meant yes. When Mama said don't do that, she meant you

better not do that, or you will be disciplined and suffer the consequences.

But we live in a time when children argue with their parents. It's no

longer an argument taking place in privacy. A lot of times, it's an

argument taking place in public. Them little children are why they're cunning their scheming

against their parents, because they know how to take advantage over their parents by

showing such display of disappointment and disapproval of their parents in public places, knowing

that their parents are unable to do something about it. But the parents of

yesteryear would give their little child a gentle tongue and say, I know that

we're in the middle of the supermarket, but I want you to walk outside

with me. I've got something to show you, and the child would look

at the parent and act like the parent had gone crazy or was raven man.

And the child would get out there near the van, and the van

door would slide open, and the mother would say, get in there and

look at what's in there. And when the child got in there, the

mother said, you see that seat, bend over it, and mommy would

take a switch and wear out that little backside. Mommy had to be smarter

than them little devils, their little angels. But sometimes they're little devils.

They're a whole lot smarter than you think they are. Now wants you to

know that no matter where you have brought your child up, no matter where

you've came from, no matter your situation right now, there is hope for

embetterment. There is hope for change if you want to change. We see

this demonstrated in the Book of Ruth. Our example of this is Ruth.

Ruth was not a Jewish girl, she was a mom Bye this girl.

In this entire book. This book is about a more bye this girl.

This is Old Testament scripture for those of you that are just looking over into

Israel and can't get enough of the things that are going on over there.

Have a look at the Old Testament, and look amongst the Israeli scriptures.

Impine a gentile, a moa bike, this woman that God wanted to point

out, even back then before Massiah came, before Messiah was executed and buried

and resurrected. Look and behold this gentile dog is how the Jewish people would

view her. Look at this person that had no no future. Look at

this person that nobody would want to pay attention to. Why would you not

want to pay attention to her? After all, she is a descendant of

Abraham's nephew Lot, the tribe of Moabile. Moab is our descendants of Lot.

Why wouldn't you want to pay mine to her? Why would you not

want to know a little bit more about now? We can't, No,

we don't want to include her. I thank God for the incloscimity of Jesus

Christ. I'm glad this morning that God has included you and I in Salvation's

plan. Y'all bear with me as I try to touch things doctrinely, and

as I try to put some nuggets of wisdom in a baby ceremony. Servon

Ruth should have been a nobody. As you begin to read this book of

the Bible, but Jesse in the first verse, you will notice that the

man's name is not given. There's a scripture right there that says, a

certain man of Bethlehem, Judah went to surjourn in the country of Moab,

he and his wife and his two sons. You know what, if you're

gonna leave us, we're gonna pretend like you don't even have a name.

We're gonna pretend like you don't even it says, oh, you've answered the

call to preach, and God sent you somewhere. We're gonna act like you

have just left us God out of the center of God's will. You've swung

way out and left or right, Phil you've missed it, and now you

don't even exist to us. That's shortly thereafter you'll find that the writer put

the name of Alimelech as the man. Also noted the name of Naomi as

the woman, and later on in the writing you find the names of Maylon

and Chili on their two sons. So now all of a sudden they have

names. Now we know the name of our baby that we're dedicating here this

morning, Baby Ruth, say that with me, Baby Ruth. Have you

ever been treated like you didn't have a name? Have you ever been treated

like you didn't matter? Have you ever been treated like I don't care about

you. I don't care anything in the world about you. I don't care

where you came from. That is a horrible feeling to feel like you have

no belonging, that you have no dwelling flow is that you have no certain

place, that you have no purpose in life. I believe that God,

by divine appointment, had planted this woman Ruth in the land of Moab,

and he knew what was forthcoming. He also knew what was forthcoming in the

generation that you and I are living in today, how a lot of people

will be excluded for the purity they promote, the modesty that they promote.

Going back our old time route, Amen, there's a lot of exclusion going

on today. I'm very disappointed by that. I don't believe God approves of

it one bit. I don't believe God is pleased with it, not at

all. Do y'all believe, ab But I believe that this little baby that

we have here this morning, brother Sabe, she was placed here on purpose.

How many of you feel like you were put on this earth for a

purpose. It's your parent's job, your preacher's job, and your job to

figure out what is your purpose in this life. Every person has a purpose

for being here. I would say maybe more than half have no idea what

their purpose in this life is. I've heard of the great minds of yesteryear

and the minds of great minds of today. Men like Elon Musker asked the

question to themselves, what is my purpose? Why am I here? Why

was I put on the face of this earth? What am I to do?

It is one of the great questions of this life? What am I

here for? How many of you know? This baby was fearfully and wonderfully

made, and she was placed in the line of her mother on purpose.

I could not help but admire her. Yesterday I looked on her. They

came over to our house to visit me, me and I and I looked

at her, and in my spirit I said, there is the little baby.

There is the little baby that we are to dedicate tomorrow, that one

that was given to us on purpose that we might give it back to God.

You know, the problem with a lot of parents in America today is

they do not realize that those children are a gift of God. They're the

heritage of the Lord. The fruit of the womb is his reward. They

do not understand that, so they never go through an effort of trying to

give their children back to God. They don't make faithful church attendants of priority.

They don't make putting the family and Bible in the center of the bedroom

or in the center of the living room a priority anymore. There's no effort

whatsoever in bringing their child back to God, Brother Jeremiah, But I look

out here today among seventy people or so, and I see parents that are

making it a priority to bring their children to God. Now listen to this.

Ruth's parents would have been pagans. They would have been idle worshipers.

If Ruth had a wanting to go to the House of God, she wouldn't

have been able to do so. I mean, going to church was not

an option. But there was something in this little girl's heart. I mean,

you've got to get hold of this. The name of this book of

the Bible is Ruth. God was mindful of this little lady. God knew

who she would be. God knew that one day she would be the great

great grandmother of David, oh Bed and Jesse. God knew, God knows

what's ahead of baby Ruth this morning. I'm glad she is in the hand

of God. But even though she is in the hand of God, it's

gonna be up to the parents to mold her and shape her parents. The

preacher can preach, he can push, He can give you a directive that

came straight from the portals of Glory. He can tell you, here is

the roadmap, here's the instructions, here's the direction for your child. God

has set you forth on this road and walk it. And then the pastor,

on purpose, he will pull back. You won't hear from him for

a week. You won't hear from him for several days. You won't hear

from him on the matter for several months, because the Pastor knows, if

it is not in your heart to steer that child yourself, that child is

not going to end up what it was intended to end up. Path it

is not. Now. Ruth did not have what you and I have.

They that have been given much much shall be required of them. They that

have been given little little shall be required of them. So God, the

Great equalizer through his Holy ghost power. He knew what lied in the heart

of Ruth. Now you don't find in this book with there was a great

revival amongst the people of the land of Moab. You can't take this text

right here and say, oh, I know it to be true that in

every denomination, in every church, Somewhere every church, I would say,

not somewhere every You just hear people rant, Brother Jesse. Somewhere out there

in that Catholic church, an Episcopalian church, that Presbyterian church. Somewhere out

there in that Baptist church. There's a little somebody that's got a heart of

gold, and they're wanting to do right, and they're wanting to live the

truth. They hold the Bible in their hand. They've been given so much

they read it for themselves. The spirit of God, which is the greatest

force in the world, and salvation that is common and has appeared to every

man. Apparently is not enough. Neither is the Word of God. Apparently

neither is a sincere heart. Neither is the desire for the true I'm telling

you, if the land of Moab had a wanted revival, that had been

a host of them leave the land of Moab with they on me and Ruth.

I know that we came out of a church that had gone extremely worldly.

But I want you to know only a handful we're true seekers. See,

you can't take this text right here a twist it say, well,

see, there's probably five million of them out there that would luck to come

out. No, they read that scripture in the Word of God. This

says, come out from among them and be separate, said the Lord.

They read the same Bible that you read. Or do they not know they

do not read the Bible. Truth seekers always find truth. Let God be

true. Let every man be a liar noo out there in search of truth

that is not finding it. The Bible said seek and ye shall find not,

and it shall be open up to you. But thank God that you

did find it. And because you found it and you came out from among

the wicked people and you come out from the land of mo Wow. That

does not mean there's a bunch of them back there that want to come out,

and that will eventually come out. I've been in this thing nearly fifty

years now, and I know the nature of the beans. To you there

be that find it, and if you have found it. You are greatly

blessed and highly favored. If you are a child and you have been born

into a family with a God fearing mother and a God fearing father, you

are a blessed person. And you ought to come to church church service shouted

the high praises of God that I am so blessed. But to the ruth

that are out there that are listening to this podcast and listening to this baby

dedication ceremony today, I want you to know God knows where you're at.

God knows how disgusted, disappointed, have frustrated you are at. God knows,

God knows, God sees, and God cares, and God is able

to help you get out of that mess. I want you to know,

for every Ruth that wants to do right, there's an Orfer that does not

want to do the same. Naomi obviously had a powerful influence over Ruth and

or for they both cried upon her departure. One decided I will stay,

another said I will go. Brother Nathaniel. During this time period, this

is the time period of the Judges, Brother roquap you as a Sunday school

teacher, Brother the thing Er, you as a Sunday school teacher, you

will know that this writer was describing something to us when he let us know

that this is taking place during the time of the Judges. You will remember,

if you've read the Book of Judges, it was said in that book

that every man wanted to do that that was right in his own sight.

They wanted to do what was right in their own eyes. But as I

read through the Book of Judges and also through the Book of Ruth, Brother

Samuel, I thought the best way to describe this is men were doing wickedly,

exceedingly wickedly in the sight of God. That's the best way to describe

it. To the church, say amen, and you'll find here as you

read the Book of Judges and the Book of Ruth, that Israel was lacking

in a leadership. You can tell this morning that I'm putting the monkey on

the back of the parents. Monkey seat, monkey, do well. I

believe that my pastor is gonna pull us through this, not if you keep

disconnecting the rope from the front of your vehicle. Is everybody, I'm trying

to slow down this morning, and remember I'm doing a baby dedication ceremony.

But they were lacking in leadership. Joshua, that great general, the successor

of Pastor Moses, had died, and not soon after the death of Joshua,

the seed of sin is planted. The seed of stubbornness and rebellion has

been well watered and fed. Even though this nation seemingly it is feasting on

sin spiritually, there was a famine in the land. Naturally, they couldn't

get enough of sin. They were doing anything they wanted to do. Oh,

it's right in my eyes. I don't see anything in the world wrong

with it. Okay, But there's a famine in the land. You could

call it a natural disaster. You could call it an act of God.

I'll call it a curse of God. There's the famine in the land.

So Bethlehem is more accurately called the House of Bread. If you know sister

Howie, you know it won't be too long before she goes to the donut

house. If you know Sister stare At, you know it won't be too

long before she goes to the bread house. Well, the House of Bread

is experiencing an extreme famine. To the point of this certain man and his

wife and his two children, they gotta go buy something to eat. Why

would you leave the house of bread. It's having a temporary family in order

to go to a pagan land and search out bread. You won't find the

same bread there. It's going to be a different bread. Even if you

find it, it's not gonna be the same bread. It's gonna be tainted

and polluted bread. So live like you need a step back and think on

this a little bit. I'm talking to parents and our responsibility. You can

get a piece of bread in the house of God, and then you could

go to your house and substitute it for moldy bread by just little insinuations and

just little tiny things that you say and do that makes your child not take

the preaching of the pastor or the word of God seriously. Your actions,

particularly your actions, will speak louder than the words of yourself. And they

will certainly speak louder than the words of your pastor, And they will certainly

speak louder than the words of God. Your actions will drownd out the voice

of God. Isn't that something monkey see monkey news? So could you imagine

on that morning that alimolact, that man of great wealth to brother Philip pointed

out to us he packed up his bags and headed out. Wait a minute,

Dad, you know this has always been a land of agriculture. You

know, God's always saw us true. He's always proven himself faithful. He'll

show himself to be true and faithful. Yet again, I believe it.

No, we just have to go. Naomi would say, you know,

husband, I've been very pleasant to you, very very very pleasant. I

beg to differ. I asked me, please express my opinion that you're making

a grave mistake unintended. Alimela gets in that foreign land and because of a

bad choice, he dies. But not only does he die, his two

sons die. So it went into another land, thinking that he would prosper

and be blessed, only to find the latter of state of his soul and

his physical condition worse off than when he left the House of Bread. There's

a lot of parents taking their children out of church. They don't like the

way things are going. They don't like the preacher, they don't like the

pastor, they don't like the teachers, they don't like the fact that we're

having five, six, seven inten day revivals. They take their children out

of church. What they do is they pluck that good bread from the land

of Bethlehem, out of the hand of their child, that precious word of

God, and they hand them some foreign bread. I've been to Ukraine.

I've hated the bread. It's pretty good, but it ain't Syster Howell's bread.

So you leave the House of God due to a temporary cessation in search

of more bread. Brother Lathaniel, Sister Rachel, there will come a time

in your life when you'll realize there's been a temporary cessation of bread. Spiritually,

it's a trying time. It's a trial that you must endure and that

you must get through. But you must be very careful to never go in

search of an alternate because when you find that alternate bread and that substitute bread,

you'll find it's a silly substitution, and you will find, after you've

devoured that bread, that it will turn into gravel in your teeth and in

the teeth of your children. I'm thankful that baby Ruth isn't getting to start

though in a barren land. She isn't beginning her life without spiritual and natural

food. A livel like had a concern that Maylon and Chilion did not have

natural food. Brother Jesse. There's not a child in this building that sets

under these great Sunday school teachers and preachers of the Bethel Hole in his church.

I'm not breaking on myself. I'm breaking on our teachers and our preachers.

There is not a child in here that is experiencing a temporarization of life

sustaining bread. When we read the four chapters of this book in the Holy

Bible, we get place mentally in an agricultural setting. If your church atmosphere

and environment is not an agricultural setting, you've got a problem. If it

is not a place to do so for your soul to be fed, you

have had a serious problem take place in your life. Now. I know

that there are times that we have temporary cessations of bread seasons. But if

it's gone past twelve months and twenty four months, and thirty six months and

forty eight months and sixty months and seventy two months, we need to realize

it is no longer the house of bread. I remember one time driving by

a bread factory that had been abandoned. There were some people still calling it

the such and such bread factory, and the Holy Goost convicted me about that

that is no longer a bread factory. The bugs have infested the place.

The rats have taken over the place and long since eate every elnce of grain

that might have been left behind in the corners of such a structure. We're

blessed this morning that we have a house of bread, and we're glad that

we are set or placed in in an agricultural setting. As you begin to

read this book of the Bible, the readers immediately picture large fields of grain.

The imagery is that of vineyards and storage bins and barns. That's how

I feel anyway, when I begin to read the Book of Ruth, I

place it in an agricultural setting. But then again, also I think of

Naomi and her two daughter in laws and how they endured many hardships after Alimlach

decided to take his household out of the agricultural setting, a place where they

are fed. Two great women of God, spiritual women of the faith,

recently told Sister how and I we are starving to death. Spiritually, these

are not novices, They're not immature in the things of the Lord. They

have been saved for about forty five fifty years. And they said, we

sit in there of a holiness and a Pentecostal church, and we are dying

spiritually. That's the first time I've ever heard those certain women say such a

thing. It should never be that our child should have to sit somewhere,

whether that be at our house where the word of God can be tall and

shared with our children, or the house of God where the word of God

can be tall. It should never be said that they were not in an

agricultural city where there was a process of breadmaking. I'm going somewhere, y'all

hang time here. So Naomi and Orpah and Ruth, they suffered many hardships,

including they lost companionship and friendship to death because they were not in the

right spiritual, agricultural city. And eventually Naomi is overcome by bitterness. I've

starved for so long. There ain't no way church could be that good anywhere.

I know how it used to be, and there's no way it's as

good as it used to be anywhere. We find. Naomi has grown so

bitter that whenever she finally does make her way home to the House of Bread,

as she walks in the gate and people recognize her and they greet her,

and they say, hey, naoi, and she says, don't you

ever call me that again. God has dealt extremely bitterly with me. Oh

really, God was the one that told Illimolate to pack his badge and move

to the land of Moab. God was the one that told Elimole to sit

in a land that's painted no. But she blamed it on God. Now,

if you're starving spiritually, if your child is starving spiritually, who is

to blame anyway? Is it the pastor? If you're in the dead church

and I'm teaching these that were one day, maybe you have to go somewhere

else? Whose fault is that? Uh? The parents. If you're not

eating well at Bethel and you're starving spiritually and you're suffering, you're going without.

That's not the pastor's problem. Because somewhere on this planet there's an agricultural

setting, and there's somebody harvests the grain, and there's somebody punching the dough,

and there's somebody putting knuckleprints in the biscuits, and there's somebody pouring honey

over freshly make biscuits. And just because we're not having it or experiencing it,

doesn't mean that somebody else is God. So Naomi comes in and hey,

don't you call me pleasant? Don't you call me pleasant? Ever again?

You call me Mara, which means bitter. So she has to overcome

bitterness to be blessed. Parents guard your children and protect them from bitterness.

That is one of the gross sins that you find in the Word of God.

And it is so hard to get people to spit out that bitter mor

sol bitterness. It is so hard to get people to just stop stewing in

their bitterness. How did Ruth survive such a bitter environment she did? How

did Ruth survive such a bitter environment the grace of God? I believe the

definition of her name gives us a little insight into how she survived such bitter

conditions and surroundings and situations. Her name means friendship, companionship, or grace.

Now, Naomi, I'm with you. Don't forget I'm here. You've

got me. I know Lemolac's dead, and I know we just left the

cemetery. We all put bouquets down. You put yours down on a level

LUTs grave. I put mine down on whichever one was her husband, any

anybody mold We'll save Maylon and or but put hers down on chili on and

I hope, ladies, I didn't get your husband's mixed up. But I

know we just walked out of the cemetery and you always thought you would bury

a limac back home in the land of bread. But you have me.

I know you're going through some difficult situations. I know you're experiencing extreme hardship,

but you have me. There's just to havingised ministry. We've experienced some

very difficult things. We've endured some very severe hardships, extreme situations together,

but it was a blessing to know that we had one another. And it

was also a blessing to know that we had our children. Low children are

in heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Are you considering following that trend of the day of having no children or

just maybe one? Now, I'm not promoting anybody in this building have more

than twelve. No, I'm not promoting that anybody in this building have a

whole lot of children. I'm just saying we are to bring forth fruit.

Pro Creation is an idea of God that also is good for the church.

Now, Brother Nathaniel was shared with me just a few months ago, after

the birth of Ruth. He said, Dad, when we had one,

it was great. When we had two, it was great. It was

manageable, everything was wonderful. And he said, now that we have three,

it's still great, but the situation is almost unmanageable. And sister would

that's because when he had one, two parents had their hands on one child.

When they had two children, each parent had their hands on one child.

But now they're out of hands. Now, parents, you're not supposed

to let your children get out of hand, no matter how many you have.

They was said years ago one man. He said, having a child

is a blessing. Having two is a greater blessing. Three or more is

Oh no, what have I done? And Brother Jesse, you and sister

Hannah are about to have your fourth. Y'all gone and done it now.

But contrary to what people think, and sister how and I've been recipient recipients

of such wonderful adoration and affection as we walked into Golden Crown with our little

tribe, and all them judgmental, critical, condescending people folding their arms and

went when we walked in, because they just knew we had brought the Miami

Zoo with us, but after an hour of dining in there properly, they

would come to us repeatedly and say, we're sorry for judging you and your

family. We're sorry for them. Then we gave y'all, we're sorry for

moving. We've been watching y'all, and we've been watching your children, and

we walked to your meal. I say, well, praise the Lord for

that, But is that what's taking place today? In most homes? Know

that children are unruly, they're disorderly, They're not orderly, they're unruly.

Is that the will of God? Not at all? I'm trying my best

this morning to help you. It would have been so easy for Ruth to

just overlook this opportunity that was before her. I'm not being a long winded

I just got a lot to pour in. We could kill quits right now.

I just have this much substance of my soul this morning for this baby

dedication. But this woman could have easily overlooked this opportunity that was before her.

But she chose to care when nobody else cared. You don't find that

anybody offered to go get Naomi and bring her back to Bethlinghem. You don't

find where a mobite or a Jewish person offered to take Naomi home. You

don't find where anybody offered to pay her taxi cab bill or get her an

uber. Nobody rented at Campbell and said take this woman back at my expense.

There weren't good Samaritans that would do that. Hey, take the old

man who's been beatn to a bloody pop down there to the end, take

good care of him, give him the red carpet treatment, freed him like

a VIP, and give me the bill. No, Naomi wasn't experiencing in

here that she's bitter. But even though Naomi is so bitter, you got

little mispleasant there, little miss Ruth, that sweet little thing. How many

of you know what a baby ruth? Candy bar Is? Does anybody know

what a baby ruth? Kenney bar Is? Let's try to describe it together.

Milk, chocolate, peanuts, caramel. You've had one nuga? Is

that what you call it? Dude? You know when that thing was admitted

or when it was first May nineteen twenty. It wasn't named after the famous

MLB Major League Baseball star Baby Roof like so many people have said it was

named after a president's daughter. I want to say it was Ruth Cleveland,

So it's a presidential daughter's candy bar man. I like baby roots, y'all

like baby roots. That is a confectionery's delight. Some of you, I

could tell your mouth is watering right now, your mouth watering right now.

I'm gonna say it more, Baby Ruth, Baby Root, baby Root,

Baby Root, Baby Ruth. There's a store just down the road right here,

Baby Ruth, a confectionaire's delight. Right Well, I thought it said

that children are the fruit of the womb. They're a heritage of the Lord.

They're a reward, Brother Nathaniel. That's what bo As told Ruth.

He said to Lord, reward or recompense that work, give you a fool

reward. Now, how many of you are gonna reward Brother Nathaniel tonight with

a baby Ruth candy bar. Who would do that? Who would dare just

love to pound him and stolen him to death with a baby Ruth candy Bar.

I want everybody that will to bring a baby Ruth candy bar tonight,

so we're gonna give him a pounding with baby Ruth, isn't that great?

Right, that's great. We might as well get him broke in because he's

on his third child, right, they're getting the work out. He left

the house last night without even saying goodbye. I said, that's the first

I've never seen that happen. I said, without a doubt, some tragedy

happened. They said, yep, hashtag dad life. Something about some child

or somebody poured something all over it and he had to get out of there.

Brother Nathaniel, thank you for becoming a member of that club, and

we appreciate your membership. The phobia is one hundred dollars a month payable to

the Bethel holding this church. If you've got more than two children, you

need to belong to that club. Things could go haywire and crazy. In

a moment. I just felt the statistics, the projected statistics of our church

growth just greatly plummeted. Just felt that, like the stock market, I

just sold the wrong stock. I was supposed to be encouraging you to have

a housefold with I'm discouraging you, but I want you to know that Ruth

did not overlook this opportunity. Brother the Thanaus sister Rachel is certainly of golden

opportunity to have such a wonderful little blessing in your humans. Let's highlight Ruth

further. She left her people and her gods and trusted in the Lord.

She returned to Bethlehem with Naomi. Although she was a young widow woman,

she wasn't above gleaning the bits of grain that the harvesters would intentionally drop,

or perhaps they simply overlooked as they worked in the fields. This woman was

not above work. Now, I hate to report this, but among holiness

and Pentecostal men today, they are above working. This woman was not above

work, including the menial task of life. This is not being said to

boast. I'm not bragging on myself, but I just finished a job that

I've done for a very large fabricator and general contractor within the state of Alabama.

In one week's time, I cleared twenty thousand dollars profit that is not

to be broadcasting are shared or spread around. That may be considered as a

big task or a big undertaking that is very profitable. But yesterday I did

my passion, my love. I bought sixteen chickens at fifteen dollars each I

spent two hundred and forty dollars cash. I gave it to brother Jonathan Edwards.

Way at your brother, Jonathan. We paid fifteen dollars a bird.

We're hoping to make twenty five to thirty dollars bird. Now, the profit

on that maybe only two hundred and forty dollars. That's a far cry from

twenty thousand dollars. But there's a lot of people if theyd know they had

put that twenty thousand dollars into bank, to the frying pan with the chickens.

But the Bible teaches us if we're faithful in the little things, he'll

bless us with greater things. I'm a feeling the Holy Ghost right there.

I want to run and preach. I want to cut loose and just slice

the cheese. Any Men, I'm telling you what God's will helping us in

this place this morning. So let's look past this agricultural scene, shall we.

As I look past this agricultural scene, I looked at a young widow

laboring in the field of a valiant, noble and very generous man of honor

God. I need to say that again. Let's look past the agricultural scene

and let's look upon the young widow woman laboring in the field of a valiant

noble and a very generous man of honor who bore the name ass box As.

As we look through all of those beautiful things, what do you see,

brother Nathaniel, I believe it to Lord Terry's and she obeys her parents

and has permitted a lone life, and she's not as dangerous as you are.

She lives alone life. Then we will see this baby Ruth become a

lady. What do you see out there in that field? It's more than

a widow woman. It's more than baby Ruth. At this point, it's

lady Ruth. And as bau As begins to enquire of this woman, who

is this woman? Well, you know that's that moa bidis woman. But

people rally to her events. Don't you be condescending, don't you be judgmental?

Don't you be critical. We've never had a better cleaner in these fields

than Ruth. I got bible for that. I love what brother Jesse said

his preci recently. He said, I got more bible for it than you

don't have a bible for it or whatever. And however he worded it that

was great. I see more than that, even I see the hand of

God's providence. I see that she is thereby divine appointment and divine placement.

I feel like this little baby, baby Ruth has been placed into the arms

of her father and mother by divine appointment and divine placement. I feel like

there's a purpose for her life. I'm not being lone within and turn me

off if you want to. I just got this much subsience to pull out

of the word of God pour into you. I mean, should I keep

preaching her, she would go eat chicken. Okay. So bow eyes witness

the gleaning of Ruth, and he saw her loyalty to her mother in law.

He noticed that all of the people of Bethlehem quickly rallied in defense of

her, and they protested and said, this is a sweet woman. You

need to protect her. And bo asked believed their report, and the Bible

said, for Ruth, there was left something that I referred to a low

what I'm preaching. Handfuls of purpose were tossed to the side, so that

when Ruth came through with that menial task of gleaning, she was just doing

the littlest thing. Hey, Jonathan let's go pick up sixteen chickens. Hey

a mowing the pastor's yard. Hey A mowing the church's yard. Hey,

I almost got in trouble, I said, Did I get trouble or not?

You made that Preacher's why that great living found cake man? It was

so good, so delictible, So the life and so the litist is so

good. Little things, That's what Tabitha Dorf was the same woman was known

for him. Right, little things, that's what makes the difference. I

was eating a cracker barrel a couple of days ago, and Sister Howell said,

do you want some strawberry jam on that? I said, is the

world spinning? Yes? I want some strawberry jam on that. Just as

your as your breathing, even though you're struggling to breathe, I want some

strawbred jam. That little strawberry jam made that biscuit so much better. And

I know there's gonna be an old timer at some point today. It might

be Sister Wood more than likely, say SIGNE had biscuits tea, you've had

mine. Well, my question for you is, Miss Wood, are they

cat heads? Because it ain't cat ain't no brisget the tall anyway, right,

I tell you what, just little things like that can make a sermon

pleasant, A kind word, right, a kind heart, being a friend.

That's the new roof. Was a friend to that old lady Naomi.

That don't hag Naomi, that old bitter hag. She's just pleasant as she

could be haged. Someone would say, no, miss Naomi, do I

need to sweep the floor? You're sweep before? What do you think I

brought you here for? I brought you all the way to Bethlehem from I

painted the bill. I'm at every cheezburger you have right since you bought your

husband died? What else would you like me to do? Miss Naomi?

Wash the dishes, go up and glean so sweet, Brother Nathana, I

don't believe this is prophetic that you and sister Rachel would become hag and haggy

yard and bitter, and then she will be just that sweet little thing in

your life. But I do, and I hope that God she don't have

a husband that's bitter and hard to her. But I think in this life

she is just going to be such a sweet thing. And can I say

this that Brother Nathano, Sister Rachel were praying for the name of their child.

How many of you believe you ought to pray until God gives you the

name of that child, gives you confirmation of the name of that child.

Oh, yes, the good name is ready to be chosen than great riches

and loving favor, rather than silver and gold. Could y'all imagine if I

said this morning, because this girl been named improperly, terming me to the

book of is a bell We all know Jeszabel was nasty, ugly, wicked,

hated the preacher, hated the preacher the truth. She wanted to take

his head off. She wanted to kill him, strow his blood his organs

all through the streets. That's not the kind of attitude to get your name

as a name of the book of a Bible, of the Bible. I

felt that that you want to make a name for yourself by being rebellious and

stubborn. And does anybody know if there's a book of Judas in here?

Does anybody know if there's a book of Simon the Sorcerer? How about the

Book of Delilah, that's the alternative book of Delilah. That sounds like a

book I wouldn't check out at the library and the church said a man,

y'all sure didn't get quiet right there? Uh, I would say, underneath

that book of Delilah's tyler, there'd be a subheaditor that said the art of

the Seductress. Right, okay, the book of Ruth. It's a good

name. The meaning of her name again his companion for under grace. This

lady was a blessed to everyone who she met on the road of life.

No matter the setting or the situation. She was graceful. No matter the

setting of the situation, She was pleasant, no matter the sitting of the

situation. She was friendly, She loved at all times. She was born

for adversity. Not only was she pleasant, she was compassionate. So I'm

one twenty seventy three, says Low. Children aren't heritage of the Lord,

and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Have any believed that children

are meant to be gracious gifts to their parents? They are a product of

their upbringing. Every child is a product of their upbringing. And the crickets

are preaching better than I am this morning. Now, I want you to

look at baby Ruth as she awakens, Sister Rachel, when you stand up

and share her of the congregation. You doesn't she look adorable? Doesn't she

look innocent? Because she is? Doesn't she look lovely, pleasant and pure?

And this is when usually the child begins to scream and act doctor devil.

Usually the kids. She is such a pleasant little baby. I believe

that baby Ruth will bring great joy into the lives of those around her.

Roverbs twenty five and twenty four and twenty five said, the Father of the

righteous shall greatly rejoice, and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy

of him. Sister Mooton is tired to bring you joy. Good I'm glad

he does to somebody. Brother Roaquap. Does brother Caleb bring you joy?

He does. I'm not gonna ask about Joshua. I like to call brother

Joshua, brother Joshua. I'm touching on names. I don't like to call

him Joshu. Sad of Joshua, Brother joshuall cover. And this is a

young man in the in the bacon. He's in the mold. He's hacking

down behind pastor at thirty years of age. The pastor's got his back and

he's preaching great preaching. One of the morning services of our camp meeting and

just lowering the boom and shucking the corner preaching great. Wouldn't that be something

if I walk up to the fool fit and say that was good Josh.

Y'all get the picture. Joshua up is a great name. Every time your

parents speak that to him. I've been tempted to shorten it to Josh a

time or two, and I'll still do it. I'm sure when he's at

the lock he don't do something right, Josh, cut that out. He's

working for me every day this week I'll get about ten texts and our pastor,

can I work for you? But I like to call him by name

because what it means and what it reminds him of whom it reminds him of.

And we need to move home. Children are heritage of the Lord,

and the fruit of the womb is his reward. I thank God for every

child, says the how? And I have how many do we have?

Just the house not sick? How many is it? Nine Tim? Nine

Tim? We have Tim. We have four other children that are in heaven.

They weren't early miscarriages. We went on pretty good ways and they died.

Now we never got to name them children. But I know that they

have a name because I know what it meant to me, because I know

how much my heart ached and how my heart broke when they didn't make it.

Now, parents, if it doesn't move you when your children are struggling

and you know that your influence and your insertion of something into that situation would

alter and help make it bad better, you need to do a heart checked

up and check your heart. And we need the Holy Good window blowing into

spell the coldness of heart. And we need to have compassion and concern because

that's the kind of person Ruth was. If I don't insert myself into the

life of Naomi, she is going to self destruct. This is how I'm

closing. God has given us Ruth. There is no doubt because said some

point in life, somebody is going to need a friend. Her daddy loves

to preach on compassion. That is definitely an attribute of a missionary. As

his pastor, I've listened for years. He's never heard me say what I

just said or what I'm about to say, but I have listened for years

for him to use that word compassion. And then when he preached that message

on compassion, and then about a year later, preached another message on compassion.

I knew we have a missionary amongst us, and I love what I

feel that my soul right now such a sweetness for heaven, For that could

be no missionary who is not compassionate. And you know what Ruth kept naoled

me from self destructing. She would have went back to the house of bread

and died even though there was bread. Naturally, she wouldn't have went out

to the fielding gleaned. She wouldn't have went back to bacon biscuits. But

Ruth was that element, if you would, that individual that was inserted into

the life of Naomi that made such a difference. God knows that some old

person in this building one day will need a Ruth, And I just felt

a witness of the Holy goes right there. Elder parents, elder people,

elders of the church, speaking of those from fifty and up, remember that

keyword endearment. Remember another key word sweetness, because there will come a time

in your life when you will need somebody to push your wheelchair, and you're

gonna want somebody to open that door for you as you hollow out of church.

But if you've picked on them kids and been mean to them kids when

they were little, and showed them no compassion, and showed them no mercy,

and showed them no love when they were struggling. Never got damn and

they got talked about out of my mind to pray with them when they were

struggling. If you were never a ruth and the life of somebody, don't

curse them and don't die bitter, because nobody wants the in the words of

the country Bumpkin, nobody wants to obtain me no attention. If you're too

busy for them now, they'll be too busy for you later. Y'all need

to remember this. I feel the auction of the Holy Ghost. I remember

there were times that God let me know I must insert myself as a father

into the life of Jesse. Sometimes it was just simply to be standing there.

Sometimes it was to be sitting in the truck when my leg crossed and

my foot on the dashboard of his truck in total silence. I'm just gonna

ride with you today's son. It'll make the difference. It'll make the difference.

Elder person of Bethel hole in his church. The next time you're attempted

to be kookie dearing testimony service or before or after service. Don't become a

laughing stalker. Don't become a mockery. Don't stand up next week and testify

and say I'm not trying to be a mockery. Just be sweet, be

a tabbath, to be a dorcas, be a ruth, be sweet,

show the love of God. Be sincere or pray, be faithful to revival,

serve the Lord, be fervid in spirit. I'm telling you what gets

serious about the Holy goes gets about being on fire with God. You don't

even have to speak a word. Don't be getting married. And I mentioned

Sister Woode's name more than I mentioned some, a Sister Howard's name more than

I mentioned some. Hey, you can sit right there, just like Granny

Stanley did, and very say very few words. That was my hero.

I'm here today because of one woman, an old time Pentecostal holiness woman that

meant the world to me. When she stand up testified. She might testify

two to three minutes, but she had the power of God. And whenever

she'd get done and sit down, I'd say, when I get it,

I want what she got but when the Holy Gust was moving, she wasn't

saying a man or bird calling or doing anything for attention. I'm talking about

the power of God from heaven moved on her mightily, and I knew the

difference. And that's what I want all of us elders to know. Nayovis

yo, listen, I'm fifty years old. I'm not a novice. I'm

old enough to talk to you. I'm telling you they ain't know the difference.

They say it, they feel it, they know it. And we

got to get into that place where we've lived in such a way where if

I see somebody hobbling to that door, I need a good actor. And

Samuel's holding a child. Welcome to Daddy live. Brother Jesse, I don't

know if you could bring yourself to act like that. I know Jeremiah couldn't.

Son just do it with a kid. I need you to hobble at

that door. Y'all know how brother Samuel is natured. He's a very thoughtful

and very considerate young man. And I can see when Brother Samuel turns to

about seventy seventy five or eighty. I need you to hobble that door.

I tell you, there's gonna be somebody, because He's made himself dear under

somebody, there's gonna be somebody nipping at his heels and say, hey,

let me get that door for you. That's how I was with Brother Johnny

back to God. God gave her to us. God gave her to the

family. God gave her to the parents, and we're going to give her

back to God. We want to start the form on part of this ceremony,

and that He will hold you to each individual here accountable for her. Do

you now solemnly confess that it is your purpose to dedicate this child to the

her? Will you instruct her faithfully in the doctrines of the Christian faith and

teach her to read her Bible. Will you teach her to pray, to

lead a holy life? Will you take her faithfully to the House of Worship

to attend His services. Will you do everything that is in your power to

bring her to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior.
