  1. Yes he is. If you have your Bible, will you turn with me

  2. to the Book of Luke Man, direct your attention to the fifth chapter,

  3. the first, second, and third verse of that chapter as well. Please

  4. Luke chapter number five, versus number one through three. Brother Nathan, you'll

  5. Deuteronomy chapter number six, verses four through seven. Brother Jesse, Psalm chapter

  6. number twenty seven and verse number seven. If you're happy and you know it,

  7. say amen, you all look great. It's like you're glad to be

  8. here this morning again, a beautiful occasion before us dedicating another baby after next

  9. Sunday. That will have been three Sunday mornings in a row. We've had

  10. baby dedications, so after this one that we know of, we have three

  11. more before the end of the year. Could you imagine how these dedicate his

  12. sermons would seem as we were using a preacher's manual with these dedications. You

  13. all would have them memorize and could do them better than I could. But

  14. there's just so many babies being born around here. We can't stand up here

  15. and just use the cookie cutter bet a baby dedication sermon. But I would

  16. have never done that anyway. But we want to preach what God has put

  17. upon our heart, or little Simon, Brother Nathaniel, Deuteronomy, chapter number

  18. six, verses four through seven, Hero Israel, the Lord ark which I

  19. command thee this day shall be in thy heart. Thou shalt teach them diligently

  20. under thy children, and shall talk with them when thou sittest in thine house,

  21. and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down,

  22. and when thou risest up, Praise the Lord. That first word, that

  23. fourth verse of the sixth chapter of the Book of Deuteronomy, was what brother

  24. Nathaniel, Here, cham champ here, Old Israel, Brother Jesse saw chapter

  25. number twenty seven, verse number seven. Here, oh Lord, when I

  26. cry with my voice, have mercy also upon me, and answer me cha

  27. mom Here, let's stand for the reading of our text, Luke Champion,

  28. number five, verses number one through three. The Bible says. And it

  29. came to pass that as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of

  30. God, he stood by the lake of Jenisiret and saw two ships standing by

  31. the lake. But the fishermen were going out of them and were washing their

  32. nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's and

  33. prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land, and he

  34. sat down and talked the people out of the ship. Let's pray, Heavenly

  35. Father, we love and we praise you. We thank you for the opportunity

  36. to be in your house this morning. I thank you for this beautiful occasion

  37. that is before us. Nor is these parents give back this precious gift that

  38. you have given to them. I pray that you would annoyt this thy servant,

  39. or set a guard at my mouth, and help me to say the

  40. thing that you would have me to say, nothing more or less an with

  41. the years of this thy people, that they might hear what the Spirit of

  42. God say at under this church through this freach word. I pray that these

  43. sayings would be received gladly. May we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully

  44. in Jesus' name, and the church says amen, I would like to preach

  45. a message the Holy Ghost titled Skipper Simon, Skipper Simon. Our text is

  46. found in a New Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of Luke.

  47. The author of this stment was a physician prior to his conversion and before

  48. he became a notable historian of the early Church and the personal traveling companion of

  49. the great Apostle Paul. Not only was this gentile physician a friend of Paul's,

  50. he was a friend of Simon's as well. Speaking of Simon, Peter

  51. the Disciple of Jesus, how many of you know that Jesus gave Simon a

  52. nickname? And I just stated that nickname Peter. I'm not talking about Brother

  53. Samuel's son. I'm talking about that great man of God who traveled with Jesus

  54. during his earthly ministry. I'm sure that Brother Samuel and sister Megan plan on

  55. giving their son Simon a nickname, and I it's going to be Peter.

  56. Could y'all imagine that? I can hear it now. Hello, I'm Simon,

  57. but you can call me Peter because that's what dad Maum calls me.

  58. Could you imagine with me now that job interview. Think of the employer as

  59. he heard such a thing, picture his expression. Wouldn't that be a little

  60. bit odd and peculiar? I am Simon, but you can call me Peter.

  61. But Papa has given him a nickname. After prayerfully considering this dedication,

  62. service and the future of this young man. I would like to say,

  63. as long as his parents obey the Lord and bring him up with the nurture

  64. and the admonition of the Lord, and as long as Simon uses that free

  65. will that he has been gifted and he does possess already to make right choices

  66. and to serve the Lord. I feel like this is going to be another

  67. special little baby. God is a blessing to Bethel hole in his church,

  68. the very special little ones we find in the Bible where God's blessings can be

  69. upon little ones. I mean from the time of infancy. We find in

  70. the Bible, in that Holy Record that there was a prophet called five God

  71. while he was in his mother's womb. There was another man named John the

  72. Baptist when he was conceived and was in his mother's womb. After a six

  73. month time of being in her womb, he received the Holy Ghost. So

  74. we know that the Lord is mindful of all of these little children, and

  75. I know that He's paying special attention to this dedication service this morning because he

  76. is going to honor the fact that Dad and Mom are willing to offer back

  77. to him that which he gave to them. I received confirmation of that this

  78. morning, Brother John, I shore a road cap for brother Ethan roadcap have

  79. been working for me here lady, and they've been very, very very busy,

  80. and I think I handed them the sum of six hundred dollars this past

  81. Friday, and I had bought them some soft drinks and bought them some snacks

  82. while they were working for me. And this morning, when I came to

  83. my few, brother Joshua, he handed me. Let's count it together,

  84. twenty and twenty five thirty. He handed me thirty dollars and he said,

  85. Pastor, this is reimbursement to you for you buying me drinks and snacks while

  86. I was working for you as a working man, and may I add a

  87. hard working young man. But he said, as a working man, I

  88. feel like it's my responsibility to buy my own snacks and drinks. And I

  89. said, well, you put it that way, I will take it.

  90. But what he was doing, he was giving back to me something that I

  91. had given to him. And I want to give this back to him simply

  92. because I owe him and his sibling to Pastor. I just handed him thirty

  93. dollars, so he is paid in full so you saw, brother Joshua gave

  94. back to me that that I had given to him, and I gave back

  95. to Brother Joshua that that he had given to me. And that's what we're

  96. doing here this morning. And this baby dedication, that wonderful blessing that has

  97. been given to these parents from the Lord, they are giving back to the

  98. Lord. Now, as you study this fifth chapter of Saint Luke's Gospel,

  99. in these first few verses, you will see the written record of Jesus calling

  100. Simon Peter to be a disciple of his. If you're in this house of

  101. God this morning, and you have a desire to be a church and to

  102. be a Christian, and Jesus matters to you, and you love him dearly

  103. and deeply, you are a blessed person. Knowing that you have been called

  104. and chosen and separated for service, you are a blessed person. This baby

  105. this morning is highly blessed and greatly favored because it has been placed into the

  106. arms and the hands of God fearing parents. I think of all of the

  107. children throughout the world that are less fortunate than that baby. Is precious Little

  108. Simon is a blessed baby, no doubt It was a wonderful day when the

  109. Lord Jesus walked along that seashore and he came to the place where all of

  110. those vessels were parked or according to the Bibles standing, and there he stopped.

  111. And he stopped because he was on a mission. It seemed that he

  112. was desirous to minister to the multitudes. But he was also there if you

  113. went to hire, select or choose a minister that would continue on after he

  114. had ascended to glory. What a lot of people perceived what he was doing

  115. was what he was doing, But there was so much more to why Jesus

  116. went to that particular geographic coal placement location. I feel like this morning,

  117. we only have a small idea of exactly what the Lord is wanting and desirous

  118. to do. In the life of baby Simon. We look at the life

  119. of Jesus, and he was born as a babe, and he was,

  120. without a doubt, a baby born with a divine assignment, a baby born

  121. on a mission. I look at little Simon and I feel like, this

  122. is a baby that is born on a mission. So Jesus went on a

  123. mission to find a future missionary, a future of vangel A future preacher.

  124. And so while Jesus was ministering to the masses and the multitudes behind him,

  125. end of that vessel was the future of the church. Concerning ministry, now

  126. that's powerful if you think about it. A lot of times the pastor is

  127. standing on the platform, if you would, and he's ministering to the congregation,

  128. and sometimes God looks over his shoulders to somebody that is desirous to fish

  129. after the souls of others desirous to minister, and among those kind of people

  130. God will choose for ministry. And so maybe, Simon, I pray that

  131. you will be just like your earthly father, brother Samuel in this regard.

  132. May you, little man, be a man who knows his own heart.

  133. May you, little man, be a man that is after the very heart

  134. of God, one who is sincere, transparent and genuine. As I prayed

  135. countless hours over this sermon, the word genuine just kept coming to mind concerning

  136. his daddy and concerning this little boy, little Simon, May you be transparent,

  137. genuine, thoughtful, considerate, and one who doesn't want to take a

  138. back seat when it comes to worshiping God. Working around God's house. May

  139. you be quick to speak like your dad is, and sometimes in transparency,

  140. just say whatever is on your mind and heart. That's exactly how Simon in

  141. the Bible was. I mean, I believe that this little baby has been

  142. named appropriately and in accordance with the will of God. Isn't that wonderful to

  143. be named appropriately and accordingly? The Bible said, a good name is rather

  144. to be chosen than great riches, and love and favor, rather than silver

  145. and gold. And may this little baby be one that is a soul searcher,

  146. a heart render. Those are rarities today. To possess such a heart

  147. is such a precious thing. Again, for somebody to be sober minded,

  148. for somebody to be a soul searcher, for somebody to rend their heart,

  149. that is such an uncommon thing. That is a rarity today, and it

  150. is a precious thing still. Brother Chris Burnett was telling me several months ago

  151. that one of the things about our church that shook him the most was watching

  152. Brother Samuel Howell during the altar service get personal with God, get intune and

  153. in touch with God, and be completely transparent with the Lord and poured out

  154. his heart to God. There's a lot of people offering lip service to the

  155. Lord, but very few people are throwing their heart into it. You can't

  156. just be here in body and that be enough. You have to be here

  157. in soul and in spirit, and made this little baby Simon be one that

  158. refuses to take the back seat while other people are doing things for the Lord.

  159. You see, at this point, Peter would have been in the back

  160. seat, so to speak. Skipper Peter or Skipper Simon would have been in

  161. the back, behind the scenes, watching what was going on as Jesus minister.

  162. But you'll find eventually Simon Peter was no longer in the back seat.

  163. Skipper Simon was the lead off preacher that came out of the upper room on

  164. the day of pentecout and he preached and proclaimed the words of truth and preached

  165. Jesus Christ him buried, crucified, buried, resurrected and saved here the world

  166. and thousands were saved. How many of you know that God can ordain a

  167. minister from the time of infancy. In this fifth chapter of Luke's Gospel,

  168. find a multitude closing on Jesus and they are pressing him without mercy. How

  169. many if you've ever seen the congregation press the pastor after a service. There's

  170. some people they don't do that because they're merciful. Some will move by,

  171. shake the pastor's hand, not ignore him. They will definitely acknowledge him,

  172. but they will understand as the church goes and this is just one man,

  173. and that he's just got just a little bit of time before he's gonna be

  174. right back here Sunday night preaching. But this particular crowd was not using any

  175. wisdom, nor were they displaying any mercy. And we find because of this,

  176. Jesus realized it's not enough for me to minister to one at a time.

  177. I thank God for one on one evangelism. I thank the Lord for

  178. street preaching. I thank God for personal evangelism. Again, I said,

  179. but you know what I'm telling you, there are those times that the preacher

  180. has to say, let me step back, give me a little space.

  181. I'm not gonna take the backseat. I'm gonna stand behind that sacred desk all

  182. that will preach to the congregation because there are others that are in need of

  183. help. And I want you to know that sometimes what you need comes from

  184. the preacher, whether that be the teacher or the Sunday School teacher, the

  185. evangelist, the street preacher, the pastor, the assistant pastor, whoever is

  186. ministering on that platform behind that sacred desk at that moment. That's what you

  187. need to get a hold of. But there's a lot of people throwing away

  188. what was given to them, tearing that service in hopes of one on one

  189. consultation, one on one personal instruction, one on one personal evangelism. You

  190. have to be content to receive the bread as it is given to you,

  191. when it is given to you. I was studying this, and I was

  192. thinking reflectively upon this and trying to get the imagery of the situation, and

  193. I thought of how other scriptures had said that the Multitude, when they pressed

  194. him, they throned him, and how his disciples would have to be bodyguards.

  195. But listen, up until this time, he did not have a Peter

  196. that would be one of crowd control. He did not have somebody that would

  197. say, hey, why it's trouble is now the Master. He did not

  198. have somebody that would say, hey, you get too close, now back

  199. up. And so Peter was no doubt watching the Master as he was at

  200. work, and he realized that the Master had concluded, he needs to put

  201. a safe distance between himself and the others and picture with me. As Jesus

  202. walked over there to this phote that was part and Jesus spoke to Skipper Simon,

  203. and he said, Simon, I want you to take this boat,

  204. and after we get on this boat, I want you to push it off

  205. the land, and I want you to go out just the little ways where

  206. I can address these people. For there was a multitude of people wanting to

  207. hear what the Lord had to say. How many of you know there are

  208. people in this building that want to hear what the Lord has to say to

  209. here? Did y'all catch that to here? Say that with me? To

  210. here? Look at your neighbors, say hey, neighbor, do you need

  211. a hear name? Say no, I got my walk. I have ears

  212. to hear, and I remember that sermon Pastor preached through. I need hear

  213. a name to hear. That is the very definition of the name Simon.

  214. Now, in contrast to the definition or the meaning of the name Simon,

  215. is the name Samuel Samuel Simon's father, Samuel, y'all see a way fing

  216. everybody. Samuel Samuel Simon's father Samuel's name means God has heard. Simon's name

  217. does not mean God has heard. Simon's name means to hear or sham shema.

  218. Look at your neighbors say shave ma. You're not speaking in tongues.

  219. Don't act like it. Somebody said in this past Wednesday night, while I

  220. was a preaching the lowdown, owned the Showdown, and oh what a sobering

  221. thought that was, and what a message that was. It shook me as

  222. I preached it. They said, you spout on your heels, and you

  223. said, stop pretending to speak in tones and stop saying the word Messiah.

  224. A man. You are real fast and trying to make people think that you're

  225. speaking in tongues and trying to outwit people and outwit God by saying something to

  226. the stuff blasphemous. You know you're not just making up something. You're saying

  227. legitimate work, which you're saying them so fast you get you be a good

  228. auctioneer, you said, pastor, you said that in that sermon and said

  229. what you did not know? I had been sitting near by to somebody and

  230. I started getting very greed, and they didn't give me the name of this

  231. person, but they said, I was getting very grieved because they were doing

  232. that very thing. Brother Aaron Wood said they were just as repeating the words

  233. as fast as an auctioneer, and they were saying, man, did I

  234. miss something? Did this person get the Holy Ghost? And they haven't told

  235. anybody what what's going on? And talking about a sister was doing this.

  236. The brother was doing it too at the same time, and I didn't know.

  237. They said it was like just it came from out of nowhere, and

  238. said I was getting so grieved in my spirit and get so sick, I

  239. was about to throw up. And then said, suddenly, God, use

  240. you to say that. Listen, you can say the same word over no

  241. faster than a public auction there will that's making one hundred thousand dollars a year

  242. because he is so smooth with his tongue. That is not going to invite

  243. or welcome or encourage the hole it goes to act in your life. What

  244. I was sitting apart of my recliner just two days ago, meditating upon the

  245. Lord and thinking upon his word, and in a thirty minute span of time,

  246. without uttering a word and musing on the word of God, the Holy

  247. goes descended upon me in such a powerful way that I begin to speak in

  248. other tongues as the spirit gave the utterance that I can tell you, Church,

  249. you wasn't coming from those frontal loaves. It wasn't coming from my nasal

  250. cavity. It was not even coming from my voice box. I'm talking about

  251. guttural voices, just speaking from the soul down in there, Brother Jesse,

  252. the soul of the man, wherever that's at, that particular spiritual organ that

  253. the doctors cannot locate, that mysterious invisible organ that is so vital to your

  254. livelihood and the longevity of your life. That thing that belongs to God,

  255. that is stealthy, that thing that is hid from the doctors. It's hid

  256. from the SETI scan, the pet scan, all other imagery texts, all

  257. that it's hit. It was coming from out of there, and then it

  258. would cease. And I'd say, I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't cease.

  259. I love what I'm feeling. I was upset because of the cessation, meaning

  260. it ceased, It stopped the cessation of the Holy good. He spoke when

  261. he wanted. Of course, I yielded to it and allowed him to But

  262. then he stopped, and when he stopped, he was done. And for

  263. ten more minutes I thought about the word of God. I thought about the

  264. services that we were being and if we had upcoming. I thought about the

  265. messages that were to be preached. I'm trying not to preach. I'm trying

  266. to dedicate a baby this morning, but I'm meditated on the Lord. I

  267. prayed, I saw God, and there it was again, brother staring,

  268. an up rising of fire in my bones, and the Holy Ghost give the

  269. utterance and begin to speak. And hey, I'm telling you, it was

  270. powerful. And then it just subsided. He didn't speak anymore, and Brother

  271. Jesse, you, about fifteen minutes later he'd done it again, and I

  272. said, well, praise the Lord, glory beating Jesus. And you know,

  273. anytime the Lord speechs, you want to listen, or I hope you

  274. do. Anyway. His name is Simon and means to hear, But in

  275. the Hebrew it means so much more than that. It means to listen,

  276. to understand, and to respond. In other words, it means to pay

  277. attention, to focus on respond to what you hear. And that's what if

  278. I am recorded in the Book of revelation, he that hath that hear to

  279. hear, let him hear. It's not that that particular part of the is

  280. missing. It's there, but they're not really listening and they're not getting what

  281. it was that was spoken to them, and they have no intentions on focusing

  282. on it and responding to it. Now, talking to somebody here in this

  283. building this morning, as we dedicate baby Simon, I believe you will see

  284. that baby Simon is going to be one that will not only hear, he

  285. will listen. He will focus on and he will act upon it. I

  286. see that in his dad. I've seen it. When his dad would get

  287. in the altar during the altar service, he would pray until he felt better.

  288. He would pray until he changed. You know, you can listen to

  289. the pastor preach. You can say that's my servant, that's my message.

  290. He might as well put my name in that title. I know it's my

  291. piece of mail. I know it belongs to me. But if you don't

  292. plan on going outside and living better and living change and being different, it

  293. wasn't your servant. I feel like this little baby Simon, if God permits

  294. him to live a long life and if he uses that free will to the

  295. glory of God, that he will be someone's sister. Howell that will not

  296. be a hearer. You see, whatever the Jews pray each and every day.

  297. The Jews those within two day issm every day twice a day, once

  298. at the morning and once in the evening. They recite Deuterotomy chapter number six,

  299. verses number four through seven. The Torah is the first five books of

  300. the Bible correct also known as the Picative, the Law of Moses, the

  301. Torum, And in the Torah this sixth chapter and four three seventh verse of

  302. the Book of Deuteronomy, Brother Jerrebout, I'm trying to hurry that is repeated

  303. every day by observing Jews twice a day. It's called the shome up the

  304. shama, the shama. They pray that, and I want you to remember

  305. the words of that code. Take Brother Nathaniel read them to us. It

  306. begins with here. Now, you know, you can't have a faith building

  307. by laying out a church. You're not so spiritual that you don't need to

  308. be in church every service. You see, the early Church didn't have three

  309. times a week. They had church many days a week, many evenings a

  310. week. And because we have it three times a week now, people have

  311. felt like that's too much. Modern churches now feel like they only need their

  312. members to go to church once a week. That's why we're in the perilous

  313. times that we're living in. This is why men love play over their eyes

  314. and they will recite repeatedly the Shama, and it begins with here, y'all

  315. heard brother Jesse read it a little while ago in our second co text,

  316. Psalm twenty seven and verse number seven. Here. So these Jews knew if

  317. this man is the Messiah, and most of them supposed to be, and

  318. his ministries just getting started, they knew, we need to hear what this

  319. preacher has to say. But how many people feel like they're bigger than the

  320. preacher. They're beyond the preacher. Oh, I don't need to go to

  321. church. I'm saved. I prayed about five or ten years ago. I

  322. got baptized. I watch a little YouTube every now and then. I have

  323. a daily Bible devotion. My coworker, since men biblically thing mean I'm a

  324. Christian, I don't know you're not. A Christian is someone that emulates Christ

  325. and Christ believed in people hearing the word of God again. You're not gonna

  326. have a faith building or a faith increased by missing church. I know I'm

  327. not you savi here. I wasn't there the night you got saved. Thank

  328. God that you're saved, but you're not fulfilling the will of God by missing

  329. church. The Bible said, faith cometh by hearing what the word of God.

  330. Faith cometh by hearing the word of God again. That is the meaning

  331. of baby Simon's name, to hear these people were gathering around Jesus to here.

  332. Now, y'all imagine with me. Over there in the boat is Skipper

  333. Simon standing in the back. He's probably got his hands on his hips.

  334. He smells like fish. He had worked and told, he said, all

  335. night long, trying to catch a mess a fish. And he's standing there

  336. in his very name means here, and brother Jesse, he just here as

  337. an h E R E. He's present. I'm here. There's some of

  338. you here, but you're not hearing. There's some of you here in this

  339. building, but you're not hearing. And there were a lot of them out

  340. there in that multitude, in that crowd that were here as an H E

  341. R E. That were present, but they did not have ears to hear

  342. h E A R. There were some of them did not care anything in

  343. the world about the shame off. I doubt they recited it like they do

  344. today and like they did back then. I doubt they quoted it repeatedly.

  345. I doubt they cared anything in the world about hearing from God. But peers

  346. standing there at the back of the vessel, taking a back seat, if

  347. you will, And he's listening because his very name means boy. You better

  348. listen what dandy im I way named him? They named him boy. You

  349. better listen to here. And not only better you better listen, but you

  350. better focus on what I told you to do. You better not forget about

  351. it. You better write it down, and you better respond to it.

  352. I've seen rebellious children before, and adults a lot, and employees saying,

  353. yeah, I heard what you said, boss man. You said me here

  354. at seven, but you didn't focus on it. You didn't respond to it.

  355. That's why you came in at eight. I heard what you said,

  356. son is school teacher. You said to memorize the scripture verse, but it

  357. just went in one year and out the other. But siling your name so

  358. doesn't mean to hear only Hey, you coming to church and hearing the preacher

  359. preach and recognizing his voice on the podcast a week later, or recognizing his

  360. voice six months later. Who you know, sister, how and I can

  361. meet people and we can see them six years later, and we can still

  362. know that voice before they speak. We know who it is speaking. We

  363. know the voice of the speaker. Understand this now, who it is is

  364. speaking under you and what is being said? And said Brother Samuel, I

  365. don't know how many within that multitude was listening and was planning to do something

  366. different. But wey'all remember I preached. I believe it was a week or

  367. two ago about Matthew that was sitting at the receipt of custom. It might

  368. have been left Sunday night, and I said that Matthew, even though people

  369. would have judge their perception, he would have been corrupt to the corps because

  370. he was working as a Jew for the Roman government. He would have been

  371. considered a trader. His actions would have been treacherous to the Jew and people

  372. would have just assumed by their perception he's drup to the corps. But that's

  373. the one Jesus called now that's what I'm saying. Jesus had a purpose in

  374. his location where he was standing. He knew that the primary leader of the

  375. New Testament Jewish Church was standing back there at the back sea skiffer Simon.

  376. Skiffer Simon. The one is about the pilot, the Wondrousy. No doubt

  377. he was tired. But you don't find where Skipper Simon was just laying on

  378. the deck of the boat, acting nonchalantly checking his Facebook page, Instagram page,

  379. playing on a cell phone, looking at the lives of his neighbor's head.

  380. You don't see where he was still continuing to watch the nets. You

  381. don't see where he was doing everything but listening to Jesus. There is no

  382. doubt he was listening to Jesus. That multitude came to here, but you

  383. know what, there was one that was definitely hearing our Lord. Jesus chose

  384. to use Simon's vote as a floating platform. And again, as I said

  385. earlier, when I was reading this, I thought about how prophatic this action

  386. was, that Jesus took the master. Jesus did exactly what I'm doing right

  387. now, what every minister and teacher will do in every church throughout the world.

  388. Today we will stand what seemingly is a floated, lifted, elevated platform

  389. before the masses. Jesus was literally demonstrating prophetically the modern Church, the New

  390. Testament Church, the Early Church. Isn't it wonderful? I love the Bible,

  391. It's so good. And so, after Jesus finished teaching, he addresses

  392. Simon. I'm in personally, we're gonna need the Lord to address this little

  393. baby personally. We're gonna need him to not only be the God of Samuel

  394. and the God of Megan, or the God of Papa and Mimi. We're

  395. gonna need it to be said, he is the God of Simon. Do

  396. y'all believe that if I remember the contents of this narrative correctly. These men

  397. were washing their filthy fishing nets when the Lord picked a boat and used it

  398. as his platform. They were off the clock. For those of you that

  399. cannot make forty hours, and for those of you that can ate each day,

  400. and for those of you that it takes an act of God for you

  401. to reach forty or make a daily these guys were working. They were off

  402. the clock. They were cleaning something no men liked to do. They were

  403. cleaning their fishing nets. In another gospel, we find that James and John,

  404. who were also partners of the commercial fishing business with Peter, Simon,

  405. Peter and his brother Andrew, they were mending nets, washing nets, and

  406. mending nets. Very few preachers and people want that process in the church anymore.

  407. They don't want any cleansing by the washing of the water of the word.

  408. They don't want any sanctification being preached. They don't want any patching up,

  409. they don't want any mending being done. They don't want any medaling being

  410. done with a mess. Right, these men were working. They were not

  411. busy bodies. They were working. And keep in mind, Simon did have

  412. a dear wife back at home, and he did have a mother in law

  413. that he cared a lot about. Once she got sick, he brought Jesus

  414. to his house and Jesus prayed for his mother in law. He touched her

  415. feverish brow and she was made whole. So Peter was a family man.

  416. Simon was a family brother. Samuel, he loved his family. That sounds

  417. like Samuel holl He calls me every day, sometimes twice a day, most

  418. of the time at some point there today, pops up wherever I'm at.

  419. If I'm in the Walmart parking lot, he stalks me, he finds me,

  420. he pops up. If I'm at the sales lot, he stalked me,

  421. he pops up there. If I'm in my office upstairs at the house,

  422. it stops in there. It pops up there. How many of you

  423. believe Jesus popped up right there in front of Peter on purpose for the sake

  424. of the sermon. I need to say, Simon, you know what I'm

  425. talking about, Simon, Peter, skipper, Simon. So we find that,

  426. Jesus said, I know you've been working. I know you're tired.

  427. You told all night. I want you to get in that boat. I

  428. want you to push it off. Now. I know what it is to

  429. fish. I know what is to fish spiritually and naturally. Sister, how

  430. I ask me how you doing just before church starts. I said, I'm

  431. doing good, rejoicing in spirit, rejoicing everymore for the spirit, serving the

  432. Lord, rejoicing, rejoicing all the way in the Lord again. I'm rejoicing,

  433. rejoicing. She said, well, that's good. I just come and

  434. check on you. I said, well, said, she checked on me.

  435. I will tell you didn't miss it for some reason. I'm greatly frustrated

  436. in my spirit, greatly frustrated in my spirit. Similar to half brother Nathan.

  437. There was a want or two ago. I said, I don't know

  438. what's going on. Just as soon as I got here at the church,

  439. I sensed something's off. We passed through a wonderful church. Here sis he

  440. here because they have to be, and who's here because they want to be?

  441. I said, But you know what, I got a baby to dedicate,

  442. and I've got to sheld that frustration. But I cannot deny that the

  443. spirit of God is stirring me up. It's not a carnal anger. It's

  444. not that my wife worked my toast this morning and it was the last slice

  445. of bread in the bag. It is knocked that my chickens did not lay

  446. enough eggs this morning. I'm not talking about and the anger that is cornal.

  447. I'm talking about a spiritual frustration because somebody knows to do good and they're

  448. not doing it. It's basically a process God has preparing me for tonight's message.

  449. Apparently, so before you pray and ask God for those gifts of the

  450. spirit that you've been begging him for. You better make sure that you really

  451. want them and that you want to live with them. Can the church say

  452. Amen? So these men were worker, But at the end of the service,

  453. I got spiritually frustrated. God spoke through me. I knew it wasn't

  454. through personal anger. I was not venting, I was not airing out dirty

  455. laundry. I knew it came from the lowest part of my being. And

  456. it thundered out. God said, there will be two women conceived illegitimately out

  457. of wedlock, two women that are in this building. At the same time,

  458. you will conceive children out of the sact de modent of marriage. Six

  459. months went by, a year went by, two years went by. I

  460. think it went on to about four years. And just as God had said,

  461. up my words, just as God had said, it came to past.

  462. People didn't expect that to happen, Oh, no way. But there

  463. were some people that they were listening. Has a spiritual theme. There's something

  464. the only goes to saying through every soul, through every testimony, through every

  465. sermon, through every exhortation, through every type of admonishment, there is something

  466. in the spirit of God is saying, but you have to be in touch

  467. and in tune with the Lord. And so Peter was not one to go

  468. against the brain. He was not one to push against Jesus. He could

  469. have sat Jesus, this is my vessel. We've already docked it. I

  470. mean, it looks like they said the word land. It looks like they've

  471. already drunk it up on shore. And then once Jesus gets done using it

  472. as a platform out there in the shallow water, Jesus said, get out

  473. of the shallow and launch on out to the deep. And Jesus said,

  474. I want you to go fishing. Peter did say, Master, we've been

  475. fishing all night long and we ain't got anything. Jesus did not get in

  476. an argument with Peter because of this. He knew Peter would hear. Peter

  477. was being a little mortal in a man, just like any of us would

  478. red blood and man or red blood and warming being human carnal bless it.

  479. He said, I've been fishing all night, trust me, the fish aren't

  480. biting. But when Jesus said go ahead and launch out to the deep and

  481. lower your nets down, he did exactly that, And the testimony is this

  482. that Peter said, Guys, we've got a problem. We've got a problem.

  483. You know that multitude that was out there on the land, Well,

  484. I've got a multitude of fishes right here in this step. You know how

  485. that net that was on the front of my boat netted all them souls and

  486. brought them in and captured their attention and captivated them the fishermen, a fishermen.

  487. Jesus, this man that I could perceive, he could hold a crowd,

  488. he can hold people's attention. There's no doubt he's Messiah. He has

  489. loaded our nets, and we've got a problem. Brother Jeremiah. That was

  490. prophetic. Letting Peter know when we get done with this, I'm fixing a

  491. ask a favor of you, and if you oblige me of my favor,

  492. you're gonna find out. After the holy ghost has poured out in that upper

  493. room, you're gonna find out what it's like the fish boy. Peter walked

  494. out of the upper room, walked down them steps, got out there in

  495. the street. There's the skeptics, the critics, to act nasty to atheists,

  496. everybody out there saying, what's going on? Look at these crazy people?

  497. Their tongue talking speaking in tongue. Some of them are speaking in languages

  498. they don't even know how to speak in. There's other ones speaking in heavenly

  499. language. What language is that? I don't know what a parent that God

  500. does. Peter waits ride out in the middle of that multitude of fishes,

  501. and he says, let me get out the gospel net, and he begins

  502. to preach Jesus Christ. And y'all know how many got saved. Don't you

  503. get y'all here now, Skipper Simon, He walked back up the stairs,

  504. went near the upper room, got him a base of the water, washed

  505. his feet, washed his hands, had something to drink. Skipper Simon said,

  506. boys, it's great fishing out in the deep. I wonder if they've

  507. been fishing in the shallows all day long. Launch out to the deep.

  508. Go ahead, just food right out there into those deep waters. Listen to

  509. me, Peter, what I'm telling focus and when I'll say dropped that that

  510. you trucking? When I say crip that sin, you stuck that sinning.

  511. When I say started attending church faithfully, you start attending church frankfully. That's

  512. what Jesus said on Judgment Day, there's gonna be people say, I was

  513. almost positive if I saw you walking up and down the aisles at my church,

  514. I'm almost positive I heard your voice. I'm on worst positive. If

  515. I felt holy ghost chilling Bombason, I'm almost positive that was you, God

  516. that I cried over that old country singer that say that gospel song. I

  517. thought for sure that was your spirit, God. And Jesus will say,

  518. say what you were listening to the wrong voice. The Bible said, there

  519. are many voices speaking in the world. You were tuned into an impostor.

  520. And that's what Jesus said after my departure. You better be careful. There's

  521. gonna be people coming. They're gonna say Christ is right over there that had

  522. already happened. Christ had already come, but there would be impostors. There

  523. would be people that would say, I am Christ, Bring the multitudes,

  524. bring the masses. I'm telling you you better try the spirit to see if

  525. it be a God. This man Simon was one that obviously had tried the

  526. spirit, and so whenever Jesus fought him back to land and they had to

  527. deal with the fish. The pastors, there's a lot in that preachers,

  528. there's a lot in there. They had to clean the fish. How many

  529. of you've ever been fishing? Fished all night, caught two fish. The

  530. last thing you want to do is clean two fish. You're okay with cleaning

  531. fifteen, twenty or thirty, but you're not okay with cleaning three hundred,

  532. four hundred and five hundred. I don't know how many it was in this,

  533. I don't know how big they were. But after working all night,

  534. tolling all night, who feels like cleaning fish? I know this. Jesus

  535. was not a waster. Jesus didn't believe HI wasted anything. The fragments had

  536. nothing to be lost. Now I can see Jesus now, Peter, you

  537. tried, he was unsuccessful. You didn't catch nothing. Now I've taken your

  538. fishing. Meet Skipper Savior, Skifer Simon, Meet Skipper Savior. You've caught

  539. all these fish. Now cleanup, boys. Don't forget that one. There's

  540. one under the net over there. How does he know that? Flipping that

  541. over multiple times you'll find it. There's a smaller one in the net.

  542. Because Jesus knows all things, he wasn't gonna let one of them small fish.

  543. Rod On that vessel. He won't gonna let one of them small fish

  544. rotten that net. Jesus is mindful of the little one. How many of

  545. you know this morning he's mine for a little Simon right here, this baby

  546. we're dedicating this morning. God's not only excited about Sister Wooton, the sister

  547. Cheryl, and brother Philip or Brother Rogue cap whoever else is coming to mind

  548. right now, He's excited about what he's gonna do in the life a little

  549. timers. How many of you deal with in security and inadequacy and insufficiency and

  550. just all of these I'm telling you just feel like you don't measure up,

  551. and you just don't matter you do you do? There's one more fish over

  552. there you need to cleaning. There's one more baby, one more little fishy,

  553. and we got to dedicate this morning. When that little fish he turns

  554. into Skipper Simon, you'll remember what I said, Skipper Simon. As long

  555. as he stays a Christian and does what God told him to do and lives

  556. a long life, you'll understand it better. By and bye. So Jesus

  557. showed up when he showed up within a good mood or bad mood, It

  558. depends on whether you catch fish or not. If you've been fishing. There's

  559. a lot of fishermen because they're so embarrassed and there's such a bad mood after

  560. fishing all day and catching nothing. They lie this fish story business, that's

  561. the big business. Me and a dear brother were fishing on a lake about

  562. two months ago. We were crappie fishing with US Floridians called specfishing what the

  563. Yankees gonn brother ro Cap says words in appropriate. They call it something else

  564. to Virginia purrently, and these guys have been fishing next to us for at

  565. least a good hour, and when we got to it, you could tell

  566. they had been there much longer than we had been there. And then I

  567. think after about two or three hours of being nearby, I never saw him

  568. bring in one fish, got one little fish. And this guy gets a

  569. call from a buddy of his and we could hear it. That's how close

  570. our boat was to their boat, and I could hear him, and brother

  571. Jessey, you could hear. Then asked the question, how's it going,

  572. y'all doing any good? And that's what you say when you're out fishing.

  573. One boat passes another boat. One skipper passes another skipper. Y'all doing any

  574. good? Man, It's like, you know, like a secret society or

  575. something out there. What are you catching them on? How many are you

  576. catching? Where are you catching? I'm at y'all doing any good? You

  577. could tell that question had been asked, maybe by another skipper. And this

  578. skipper begins to say all week out about sixty that brother and I that were

  579. fishing together, looked at one another, and I said him, I'm missing

  580. something. He said, I ain't, so I'm catching a single fish.

  581. I said, brother, I've been watching because if they were catching fish,

  582. I was gonna ease on over there and we were gonna catch fish. And

  583. I've been staring to see what kind of bait they're using, because we're not

  584. catching nothing, which is unusual, but it seems to be par for the

  585. course down here anymore, since the government's putting these chemicals in the water and

  586. things and killing off the eggs and the hatchlings. They're not killing the mature

  587. fish. They know what they're doing, but they're killing all us grass.

  588. I need to get off that hobby horse. I'll get worked up, and

  589. I really will start preaching. But that man he lied. He lied,

  590. and so brother Jesse rather than going home in a bad mood because he had

  591. told on himself, he lied. That was church to day, ready as

  592. a Bible can going what That was a prayer of time with the Lord today.

  593. Spectaclear's fear of God fell on me, came on me in a body

  594. way. You better stop that lion. The Lord's been good to you.

  595. Have you been good to him? Oh? Yes, Simon been just as

  596. good to him as he is to me. You better stopped that lion.

  597. I believe baby Simon will be genuine. He will be authentic, he will

  598. be precious, he will be transparent, he will be honest, just like

  599. Simon. How many of you remember Simon Peter, he put his feet in

  600. his foot in his mouth, would he not? But Jesus used him because

  601. of his heart. That's what was said of David. I chose him because

  602. of his heart. That's what we've been praying about for some right here in

  603. this building, and others that have been coming by and visiting. We've been

  604. asking God to help them because they're way too grumpy and grouse you. They're

  605. always in a bad moood. They've been fishing and aren't catching anything because they're

  606. not even baiting the hook. I was fishing with a gentleman one time.

  607. True story. After about an hour, I said, brother, you do

  608. realize you don't have any bait on that hook? He said, I realized

  609. that. He said, fish like shiny hooks. I thought, I've been

  610. fishing for about forty five years, since I was about three years old probably,

  611. And I said, it might be true that people have caught fish on

  612. a shiny hook, but it does not happen very often. And I said,

  613. brother, the truth of the matter is you brother sucked down at doctor

  614. pepper and eat top peanuts. Then fish ain't it? And you're too lazy

  615. to bait the hook. He said, How do you know, I said,

  616. because they ain't. No fisherman fishing without baiting the hook. The only

  617. fisherman, Skipper Savior, can do that, and that's Jesus. And do

  618. y'all know who he's sent to go fishing without abated hook, Skipper Simon.

  619. Only those two guys got that going on. Jeremy Howe ain't got that going

  620. on. I love what I feel right now, y'all can tell I'm having

  621. a whole back. I'm really feeling the preacher. But I'm telling you,

  622. honesty and sincerity it is so important. But really, what God is looking

  623. for. It's not somebody that would just nod their head and say amen,

  624. I heard, because you controlled them and ask them at the church what was

  625. sin? What was the theme of the service, what was the spirit saying

  626. of the church? And they say, I don't know. I was just

  627. there because I needed to talk to pastor. I don't know. I was

  628. just there because I needed to get my big toe prayed for it. I

  629. don't know. I just came because my cat needed to be prayed for it.

  630. But I believe this little man will be one that is tuned in when

  631. Uncle Nathaniel's preaching. I believe he's gonna be one that'll take it to heart.

  632. Can y'all picture it now, Sister Vega, in a beautiful sight,

  633. little two three, your old boy right over here and just crying and just

  634. God saying, That's what I'm pleased with because we look on the outward,

  635. there's no debt is going to be handsome. Look at his beautiful mother and

  636. his beautiful handsome father. But brother, just I feel like he's just going

  637. to have a big heart, sister, share on your feeling right now,

  638. I can tell. And he's just going to have a heart of gold Skipper

  639. Simon. And you know, whenever a man has a heart o death,

  640. that's obviously somebody God's gonna use. You think about just about anybody that has

  641. that heart. That's what they said to David. He's got a heart after

  642. God. What they've leather they meant was he's got a heart in hot pursue

  643. of God. A heart and hot pursuit of God. Some people think of

  644. that scripture as this is just a man who's got a heart just like God.

  645. You could take it like that that he's in the way to God,

  646. he's keeping the law, trying to do right. That it's a heart that's

  647. in hot pursuit after God. Now I see some sister would never running the

  648. other way. But somebody's going to hawk pursuit after God. It doesn't matter

  649. where God goes. If he takes you on the vision field, if he

  650. takes you in a fishing boat, if he takes you the upper room where

  651. you are, I'm gonna be. And that's what Peter would repeatedly say,

  652. even though his flesh was weak. He would repeatedly say I'm gonna be right

  653. there with you and his story and say, well, Skipher Simon, meaning

  654. the pilot of the Gospel ship the early Church, when he was being martyred,

  655. he stopped his executioners and forbade them from crucify them upright, Skipper Simon

  656. said, Nope, that's how my Jesus was crucified. I want you to

  657. do me a favor. Flip this crossover and hang me upside down. That's

  658. somebody that's in love with Jesus. That's somebody that's not interested in themselves.

  659. That's somebody that's highly interested in their same fruit. So I don't believe this

  660. is going to be a little baby that's always in a bad mood. Brother

  661. Samuel, I'm reminded of something that your coworker told you the other day,

  662. said you're always smiling, and then asked the question, why are you always

  663. smiling? That's what people have asked me repeatedly over the years. What do

  664. you have to be happy about? Sister? What it was you that texted

  665. me just a couple of days ago, send me that song sing by Brother

  666. Bonge. I'm excited about going to church I've cheered it with the church twice.

  667. I've listened to it probably thirty times. I am excited about being in

  668. church. I had them grand babies and daughter in laws and outlaw and children

  669. over there last night. I turned that song on, and all of them

  670. grand babies went to shop in that air conditioned living room with it cool outside

  671. the ac not struggling. Thanks. She shouted for at least fifteen minutes,

  672. so hard that I saw it glaze over with sweat and saw the little hair

  673. go from being dried and looking like it was wet. I thank God for

  674. that. I thank God for the goodness and the grace of God. It's

  675. evident that Simon, whose name means to hear, pay attention to focus on

  676. responding to what I hear. He acted swiftly upon the request of Jesus.

  677. Obedience is better than sacrificeing the hearken than the fat of ramps. And I

  678. want to say this to each one in this fits. This fits. If

  679. God gave you a shepherd, a shepherd leads and guides the flock in just

  680. about all state of affairs concerning their life. It was probably around Thanksgiving or

  681. Christmas, and last year God began to deal with me about iris Lynn Wooton.

  682. We were having a fellowship out there at our property under what we all

  683. call the dome. The former owner named it that the dome. It's a

  684. great name for it, the Dome. At some point, while the brothers

  685. were busy pressing me, as the multitudes trust Jesus, I just want to

  686. talk about this. I know I told you this ten different times, and

  687. just you know, be an insensitive somewhat. The spirit of God said,

  688. now is the time to go to her and ask her what does she need?

  689. Now you can say, right now, will pastors never approached me and

  690. the spirit of God's present or we just almost manifested you. Hell, you

  691. can say, well, God won't use pastor like that in my life.

  692. That's because thats say the Lord. You don't listen, you don't focus on,

  693. you don't respond. The old timers they hadn't was saying, I'm not

  694. gonna waste my breath on him because it's gonna go in one ear and out

  695. the other. But whenever God uses your pastor to speak to you, I

  696. jumped up, and I speak as a fool. I'm nobody, but I

  697. jumped up and went over there. You know, your sister Lute, and

  698. you were distraught. I wasn't reacting or responding because she had such a look

  699. upon her face or her expression was different than it's always been. I had

  700. my back turned to her, and when I jumped up and ran to her,

  701. right in the middle of a wonderful church fellowship, there she was with

  702. her back turn to everybody, and she was about to break down. And

  703. I pulled my chair up and I was scooted it up right to her,

  704. and I got right up there, about two feet from her face, and

  705. I said, what's wrong. God's had me praying for you. I've been

  706. asking God to show me what it is, what is going on. I

  707. have felt a burden. I've heard the voice of the lower speak concerning praying

  708. for you. What's going on? She said, Pastor, my home life

  709. is terrible, she said. I can't even bear the thought of going home

  710. tonight. She says, I get to the place where I'm miserable. I

  711. can't even stand being in my own house because of guests that had wore out

  712. their stay, drama problems. We'll leave it there, but she said,

  713. it's just to the place I don't even want to leave this environment and go

  714. back to that. It's so miserable, Brother Tyler, I looked at her,

  715. and I said, I know what needs to be done. Sister Wiltnam

  716. was less than thirty seconds. Her world was falling apart, and had been

  717. falling apart for months. In less than thirty seconds, we had the solution.

  718. Now, if she hadn't listened to her past, to here Chama,

  719. no, I need to go back and read that Deuteronomy chapter number four,

  720. verse is number six or seven to shove off? Did you Wantamy chapter number

  721. six versus number four through seven to shut off Hero Israel? In less than

  722. thirty seconds, I said, I have the solution. I said, I

  723. will talk to Tyler. Within an hour, I have spoken with Tyler,

  724. and the wheels were turning. Within just a couple of days, all of

  725. her sorrow was rolled away, every birden of my heart rolled away. Now,

  726. if she had just took that and said, that's just you. You're

  727. Jeremy Howell. I know you're nearly fifty years old, you're in your prime,

  728. but I'm not gonna listen to you. There's no way you can help

  729. me and my little boy, and my little girl and my family. You

  730. don't know. You're not a dad, You're not a Yes I am.

  731. Just because you've made a wreck of your situation and I didn't doesn't mean I

  732. wouldn't know how to correct a wreck of a situation. Because us you know

  733. how to prevent it. You can certainly know how to correct it. Because

  734. a skipper can upright the ship. He can make corrections and adjustments and set

  735. or right the ship. Now y'all can tell this would be a preacher message

  736. right here, But we're dedicating a little baby, and I will try to

  737. keep that in mind. But when the pastor has been specially chosen and the

  738. teachers of God, and that preacher comes to the pulpit with a message,

  739. they speak as the oracle of God. You don't like what I'm doing,

  740. call my Moss telling you have a problem with it. But God knew that

  741. Iris would take the backseat and let her skipper pastor give the orders. Trust

  742. and Old Bank. A county deputy told me something last week. He said,

  743. everybody's trying to mess with this and he said, I'm telling you,

  744. I'm telling you they are not doing anything good for this situation. Sister,

  745. woting to hear you tell it your situation was just as severe and just as

  746. great as anything else that has went on before going on. Now, any

  747. problem, sister hand And I've ever had raised six kids. Here, it's

  748. not we just sitting a few and here our pastor preach for forty five minutes

  749. or an hour, and they say, I thank God for that message.

  750. We're supposed to be hearers and doers. I'm trying not to mess up this

  751. baby, dedicicaate. So that could be why. Because I had employees before

  752. coming there, and they'd asked me a question, how do we go about

  753. drafting or drawing this particular cage ladder? And you tell them how to do

  754. it, and sister Wooting, two or three days later, when the checker

  755. brings the drawings back, they're blooded all over. Means he'd take a red

  756. mark or a red pen and scribbled all over and said, make this correction,

  757. make this correction. And upon closer observation, you realize they disregarded everything

  758. you said and done it their way. Now I'm smart enough to know the

  759. how old children I raised them, and I'm smart enough to know every person

  760. in this field. And it's been with me for less more than two or

  761. three years. I know you by Now I know who's going to not only

  762. listen, who's gonna focus on and who's gonna change the situation. Now I

  763. believe this little baby something. I mean, why would you want to hear

  764. from your pastor and hear from God if you're not going to do what God

  765. says to do? Hey, you're you're your own boss. Right. We

  766. need skiper savior. Oh my God, just like the church need a skip

  767. er. Simon, I believe this little boy is going to be somebody in

  768. God. I'm not blinking making a blanket statement. As his papa and as

  769. his pastor, I have prayed and sult the Lord, not only last night

  770. that I tossed in turn, but nights many nights I toast in turn say,

  771. God, speak to us exactly what we should focus upon concerning this little

  772. child. Because Simon paid attention to the Master, he focused on doing exactly

  773. as the Master said. He responded to what he heard. The Bible says

  774. act that he let the nets down, and when he went to pull it

  775. from the water, he was breaking. The nets were breaking because of the

  776. great multitude. Simon said, immediately, nevertheless, Lord, at your word,

  777. I'm gonna load this net. And then whenever Simon got done and he

  778. saw the great ketch of fishes, brother stere It, he fell at his

  779. feet and said, I am unworthy, and I preached the message. I

  780. think this past Sunday night. They can't take it because they didn't make it,

  781. or something like that. Brother Jesse Peter fell down at his feet,

  782. not because he was overwhelmed. But what came to me is what I preached

  783. them Lessonday night, but because he was overshadowed. There's a greater skipper here

  784. now upon life's ocean where mighty billows rolled. I'm a feeling of this.

  785. We need a skipper, a savior on our vessel. If you're going to

  786. be successful, then listen to the skipper. The Holy Girst spoke through Brother

  787. Nathaniel. I feel like it was a year ago, eighteen months ago.

  788. Brother Nathaniel just recently divulged to me after eighteen months. Very important facts and

  789. pertinent details regarding that, because sometimes when you're given the message in tongues again,

  790. it comes from way down deep and you give the interpretation. You have

  791. this awesome awareness of the situation right to witnesses. I mean even said,

  792. seemingly it comes from out a left field. You have an idea of God

  793. speaking to an individual or a few people, or maybe a church. Corpidly,

  794. my brother Nathaniel said, immediately I had understanding of whom I was speaking

  795. to. And he said, over the last eighteen months, I have analyzed

  796. things that they were doing and things they were doing at that time. And

  797. he said, now it makes perfect sense when the Lord spoke. And I

  798. remember that night, I was shocked. I was a pauled. Could believe

  799. us being wildered? Who in this company of sixty five people would not acknowledge

  800. the shepherd that God has set over them? And he said it went on

  801. to say, he said, Dad has something pluted in the church. Thou

  802. shalt prosper. He said, that's not it. He said, what the

  803. holygo said is thou shalt prevail God. Peter, I said, brother,

  804. don't make sense, does it. There's no fish, Brother Jeremy, there's

  805. no fish and nothing happening. I've been fishing all day and all night long.

  806. Why, I said, I'm sitting at my mclinter meditating on the Lord,

  807. not worrying, not fretting, just thinking on the goodness of God.

  808. And the Holy ghost came down. We can launch out to the kneed.

  809. I preached the message behind closed doors. The God that we serve is able

  810. to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we shall ask for. Think,

  811. but it gets right down to this. You're your own boss. Remember that

  812. night brother Asher was preaching daring to reviv When he was telling somebody this building,

  813. him and I had no privor conversation. No conversation that night, no

  814. conversation since who he was talking to. But some of us circumventing the proper

  815. channels. Wood's not that well, you can get mad, said, well,

  816. he ministers to her. He don't minister to me. Talking to you

  817. young'uns too. I see a minister to this one, speak to that when

  818. miracles happen. Just to send in ealy message this for and said, a

  819. couple of years ago, you told me to be watching my magnesium level as

  820. she was praying, God showed you that. She said, I was just

  821. a minute to the hospital. I was evaluated in check. She said,

  822. guess what they said, depleted magnesium levels. It might have took a couple

  823. of years for it to come to pass, but it came to pass.

  824. That's why I've been having these problems depleted magnesium level. I mean, God

  825. knows. But if God's gonna speak to you and you're gonna put your hands

  826. on your hip and say, no, this is my vessel, or no,

  827. this is my vessel, I just parked this vessel. I have noticeire

  828. whatsoever to launch out in the shadows or to watch out to the day.

  829. I have no desire to continue fishing. I have a why drop the net?

  830. I mean you can wear your pastor out and just I'm telling you go

  831. in circus, circumventing exactly what God told you to do. Do you know

  832. you can be fighting against the hand of God. God uses the strong arm

  833. of law. God uses the strong arm of judgment, and do you know

  834. to go against God? Parents, y'all listen to me. With these little

  835. children, you are the ones responsible to bring them up in the nurture and

  836. the admonition of the Lord. If you don't tram them up right, they're

  837. not gonna do right. Drama queens raised drama queens, Drama kings raised drama

  838. kings. Right, Brother Samuel, I know you did not know how close

  839. your two names are by definition, or did you Okay, Samuel, God

  840. has heard. He's got that name because God has heard the prayer of his

  841. mother Samuel in the Bible hand them. She's testifying, I'm gonna name him

  842. Samuel because God has hurt me. But Simon, here's the means I hear

  843. saying? Or the prophet couldn't say, although he could hear, because Asbama

  844. heard, he could hear. But Simon, is I hear? I hear

  845. what God's saying. God's been saying this now for about eighteen months. What

  846. you need to do? The answer is in your hand. The power to

  847. do what is right is yours, and you can do it. That baby

  848. that's in their head, it's in their hand right now. It's gonna be

  849. in their head thirty years from now. How old are you, son?

  850. Twenty six? You're still in my hand, twenty's sixty. If I'm still

  851. living, he'll still be in my hand. That'll still be my child.

  852. But his soul belongs to God, and I've got to make sure he's in

  853. God's planning, right Simon. They'll see it when other kids are listening and

  854. they are paying attention. But there'll be some they won't get that altar.

  855. They won't pread it through, and we'll still be beating the same drum eighteen

  856. months favor. All you had to do was respond when he freaks behind the

  857. scenes. All you had to do was respond when he preached that sermon that

  858. night. All you had to do when he mounted that floating platform. And

  859. this is a floating platform. This is simply sitting and floating upon a concrete

  860. floor. It But whenever he puts the distance between this and him, and

  861. the acoustics are just right, and he's preaching, Jesus was being so prophetic

  862. of what is going on right now. But is anybody listening? Does anybody

  863. care? But there will be a little baby if I'm here to witness it.

  864. Great. If I'm not great too. I'll tell y'all something right now

  865. as we bring this to a close. Since some of these young men got

  866. the Holy Ghost, and that was February twenty twenty three, is that correct?

  867. The Lord dealt with me to make them part of the church board.

  868. I've prayed about that since February of twenty twenty three. And before you say

  869. you want to be part of that, do you want to be financially responsible

  870. and obligated for everything that goes on here. But I said, God,

  871. I don't want to do this just because it's something I think that needs to

  872. be done, or that I feel needs to be done, or Jeremy Howell's

  873. plan. That's what we're doing on right here this morning. Little Simon is

  874. going to listen to the voice of God. He's going to know it's the

  875. voice to God. He's gonna understand it's the will of God. He's going

  876. to focus on it, and then he's gonna do it. He's going to

  877. act upon it. He's gonna take action. In October twenty twenty three,

  878. I expressed an interest in adding members to the board of this church. I

  879. spoke to them briefly. Yesterday I was working at five twenty five. People

  880. began to enter my house. I was still working getting some drawings finished up

  881. for a customer, and in the process of emailing them, the Lord spoke

  882. to me and said, add these men as board members of this church.

  883. I started typing it in. I sent a text to him. I said,

  884. I need all of you to send me your physical address. Brother Gable,

  885. this kids good because this tells us we have a future Immediately. Some

  886. that I don't hear from immediately immediately they responded to that text. I didn't

  887. have to wait. I didn't have to get frustrated because I need the address

  888. now, because I'm taking care of business now. I'm online right now.

  889. I don't have to in five minutes, I forget that some of them are

  890. about to come into my house. I'll continue to work. About that time,

  891. I hear people walking up the steps to my office and I'm finishing up

  892. typing certain names. I tell them what's going on. I don't really know

  893. that they really heard and focused and got intent on it and understood it.

  894. They were just so fresh in the room. Maybe they didn't realize the significance

  895. of it. Maybe they did. I don't know. I didn't even turn

  896. around. I said, I'm adding you on as members of the board of

  897. this church, thinking on the future. Within ten twenty minutes, the State

  898. of Florida, a Secretary of State sent me the certification they had been added.

  899. It's official, brother Jeremiah, who pays attention, who's been on the

  900. board of this church since he was sixteenth Because back then that's all I had

  901. meet him and Sister Howel. He never asked to do it. I just

  902. needed another body and he was a great guy and always level headed. And

  903. sister, how he's stood over my shoulder, and he said, Dad,

  904. because Dad's old enough. Now I need reading glasses. So I had read

  905. it, I sped read it, and I had comprehended it. All the

  906. dates looked the same. April thirteenth. April thirteenth, he said, Dad,

  907. I don't know if you noticed this or not. He said, but

  908. this is amazing. I said, what what have you seen on this document?

  909. He said, that's amazing. I says, speak, that's a make

  910. feat. I want to hear what's amazing? What are you saying? Tell

  911. me that's amazing. Now, if you're in my O can't believe this unbelievable.

  912. Tell me what you're saying. I can't you see it? Now?

  913. I don't say it, he said, Dad. On April thirteenth, twenty

  914. twelve, you incorporated the Bethel Horness Church of South Florida. Sister Wooten,

  915. when our world was falling apart, and we went started having church in a

  916. little store front. We incorporated on April thirteenth. Don't talk much about Jeremiah

  917. said, look at what day it is. April thirteenth, twenty twenty four.

  918. I said, I thank you God Almighty, and Sister Wooten right then

  919. in the atmosphere change and everybody knew this of God. Though they were newly

  920. in the room and fresh in the room and really had no idea what was

  921. going on, they immediately knew there's a divine presence here. I had pushed

  922. that off until October. I wanted to do it in January, and the

  923. spirit of God moves on me as I was finishing up working and said,

  924. now is the time. How many people would hear and listen and focus on

  925. and take action. It wouldn't have the same meaning if that is that April

  926. fourteenth or April twelfth, when God rings your bell and you know that's your

  927. message, little Simon, and you know that God has given pauper or the

  928. pastor well the preacher's something for you. You get a hold of it.

  929. You get a hold of it. When the white Uncle Griffins say, I'm

  930. gonna trust God, I'm gonna trust his survey, I'm gonna trust his word.

  931. I do not understand it, but I'm gonna believe that God is able

  932. to do it because Skip or Savior has said to do it. You may

  933. be sailing on uncharted waters, but God said you can get through it.

  934. Simon didn't feel worthy of what God was doing for him. He felt broken.

  935. He was thankful, He was so thankful. Are you thankful when God

  936. speaks to you? That's how sister Wooton was that night. She's crying,

  937. she said, Pastor. She didn't want to tell me what you need all

  938. of these details. I don't need the details. All you need from me

  939. or from your God is what does saith God. But it ain't no confusion

  940. now. Brother Tyler invited me to come over. He said, let's party.

  941. He said that there was a problem. Is gold. Grandma's got peace

  942. that pastors all understanding. He said, grandma's grandma again. To all,

  943. mid I've spoken tongues Grandma's back and wanting to make jelly Grandma's back. We

  944. won't make biscuits Grandma's grandma again. Rather say, but that's what happens.

  945. And they can despise you and your son all they want to. But I

  946. can tell you is something only God can give somebody, the heart that's all

  947. got inside. Sister Megan, you know how blessed you are. I can

  948. see it in your eyes. You know what you got, you know what

  949. you got and once you got in your arms is just this sweet and just

  950. this question. Some people you have to tell them one time, sister Lot.

  951. Other people you have to tell them a thousand marries. And brother Tayler,

  952. who doesn't change the thing. Here's what we said recently in a message

  953. this past Wednesday night, because of hardness of heart, somebody needs to say,

  954. God softened my heart like this little CHILDE help me to have a tender

  955. heart, that I will be willing to follow Jesus all the way. And

  956. although I feel like we need to have an old recall, we will move

  957. on into the form of part of this ceremony. Everybody stand please. I

  958. want to ask the singers to come around and sing. I do want you

  959. to pray. I want you to listen to what God is trying to tell

  960. us in these moments ahead. What it is the spirit of God is speaking

  961. to us concerning find a new skip. For Simon was a of sacrifice,

  962. a man of sacrifice. We don't tell you what you sacrificed. We don't

  963. tell you what you sacrificed, Folly, but there is a big difference in

  964. sacrifice that something thirty fifty years ago in sacrifice, and in the moment when

  965. you're in the situation, your name's Abraham, and in that moment you're having

  966. to make that sacrifice, it's a lot harder than than it is fifty years

  967. later, saying, well, I took my boy up there, there's some

  968. of you. You're in the middle of making sacrifices. The Bible said that

  969. after the Savior Jesus Christ performed these notable miracles in his sight, brother Jeremi.

  970. Then Jesus said, follow me, And the Bible said that Simon left

  971. everything and followed Jesus. Brother Samuel, Sister Megan, you've given your other

  972. children back to God. When you give Simon back to God, you're everything.

  973. You're all in all, your little baby boy brother gave her. What

  974. a sight that must have been that day when somebody said, hey, he

  975. didn't park that vessel like he normally parks it. Hey he didn't hang the

  976. net where normally hung it. He's not coming back. Did it mean a

  977. lot to him yet, Because after Jesus had got crucified, apparently he went

  978. and tried to find a net, and he tried to find a boat,

  979. and he went back to it. H you know why he was so devastated

  980. or so broken? Where's my safe? And Jesus knew? And Jesus came

  981. to him on the seen that day, and the Bible said, wasn't it

  982. Peter? He cast himself into the sea, and he swam to Jesus.

  983. H skip for simon, are you willing to get into Jesus even if you

  984. had to swim to him in the midst of the billows and amidst of the

  985. whole room and tired? Are you willing to swim to him? Brother,

  986. the thing where no boy had seen the do the vowels you can m m

  987. for a good night? Huh? He calls me dad, and I called

  988. him buddy. Just faded. Old Pillow is a little bear too, snuggles

  989. the close and says, I want to be like you. I took even

  990. bead and my kids sing good night, tripping over the toys as I turned

  991. after like I whispered her prayer that someday you'll see he's got a father in

  992. God because he seen Jesus sending me. He wants to be like me.

  993. I want me sample for nice. See help me believe anybody come on in

  994. I can't. I'm wanting me just like you because he wants to be like

  995. me. Read the same, sister, make it, I'll come to the

  996. front. You'll send some order. Please. I want to be just like

  997. you. Call. He wants to be just like me. I want to

  998. be a fool example for nice to see you help me be leaving by the

  999. Lord, tell leave, Lord again. I want to be just like you

1000. because he wants to be like me. I've got too with me, I've

1001. got so far ago, been hosting in stake, stand up true that you

1002. know some time for better. How hard I try, we're with all the

1003. pressures of mine. I just can't give you all. I'm trying, so

1004. Lord to learn from the blessing fashion and kindly with your tenderness, because I

1005. know that to learn from the things he sees that Jesus he finds will be
