If you would, let's stand a man to thank God for what we feel,
-
asking to howard his way in our lives and get in at disservice.

-
was thinking this morning. There there's a Bible story that tells of a man
-
that had a life changing experience at a at a certain special location and for
-
the rest of his life you could see, Amen, he knew he could
-
go there and get in touch with God. Amen. And we're celebrating homecoming
-
today and celebrating the work of God that he's done here at Label. And
-
I'm thankful. I know in Label there's a place I could go, Amen,
-
and God can meet with me, and I know he'll make a change
-
in me. And I remember Amen the day and with talking said I to
-
take it to the place. Amen. And there's power and being able to
-
take the devil to a place a man when you know God will meet with
-
you. Amen. And I thank God that even Bet is such a place.
-
I'm thankful him in fourth place like this a man. If y'all help
-
us sing him in. I don't want these just to be words, but
-
I want us to reven this Amen, of the times God's met with us,
-
Amen, of the ways He's changed just for the better. Amen.
-
And realize. Amen, we should take it for granted. The previleence of
-
the Lord we feel this morning and then but y'all help us praise the Lord,
-
Amen, and a thankful hard for all that he's done for us.
-
Amen. When Paul and the Lord on the mask, he smood he never
-

-

-

-
definitely change. Were all the change and there in the balking change the change

-
take the change, well you to change the way the balking made a change
-

-
set the change. It's the change, well serious, all previous shaking the
-
head, nothing that nothing say when the said spure well a prons out to
-
change to the change in the long game, change the change the fount o

-

-
Spy can make a change in the chat, it es w is like
-
the changes into the chat can make a change. And at the change gave
-

-

-
Yea, the sparrow hath found in house, and the swallowing ness for herself
-
where she may lay her young even thy alters the old Lord of Hosts,
-
my King and my God. Yea, the sparrow hath found in house to
-
swallow a nest for herself where she may lay her young thy altar, Old
-
Lord and hosts, my God, my King, and my God. Blest
-
are they that with that dwell in thy house they still will be praising thee,
-
say lad, blest is the man who strengthens in thee and whose heart
-
are the ways of them passing through the valley of Paka, making a well,
-
the rain falling and filling the pools, they go from strength to strength,
-
every one of them out design appeared before God, O, Lord,
-
God of hosts. Here my prayer, give your old to God. Old
-
Jacob for the day and the courts is better than a thousand. I'd rather
-
be a doorkeeper, and I have the my God, that to twelve is
-
the tenth of the wickets. Have you passed through the valley of weeping?
-
Have you loan for a place of rest like the sparrow our savior did loan.
-
He thought for a place to lay his head and to lay his burdens,
-
to find refuse from this world for your heart and your mind and man
-
for your soul. To to day the place to belong. Welcome home.
-
This is the place and the place start to have you good. Let me
-
say, my gods and we looked out. Y'll get everything the same.
-
Oh oh away, listen friend, listen, listen. That's where we saw
-

-

-
This is the place where we saw today you was born. Where we say
-
here we recall the man that here we want to be yoll job. You
-
read this same Oh you o god, this is the place you see the
-
place where this isn't the place where we start today. You was born,
-
we say here, we bother I forget said here, we walked out.
-
They deny every job. You're in the safe you all the b I'm forgive
-
and said you do we walk out? Child day child? You in this
-
saftraight right? Yeah, you didn't see everybody? Yeah a man, yeah,
-
yeah, and this is my mother. Roberts eleven twenty five. Liberal
-
souls shall be made bad, that water shall be water. Also said today
-
about AMENI amber s, Hey, Amen, how many of you are glad
-
to be in the House of the Lord this morning? What a good looking
-
crowd, good looking people out there this morning. There's some good food out
-
there. I'm standing between you and that brother. Vall have to be standing
-
between you and that. I'm in jeopardy right now. I'd rather have Jesus
-
than being jeopardy. Amen. But it's good to see you, each and
-
everyone. I'm thankful that you're in here. Familiar faces on folk, folks
-
that used to be home folk, folks gonna be home folk, all of
-
you wonderful folks. So good to see you in the house of the Lord.
-
How many of you are feeling better ever since you started feeling the presence
-
of the Lord. Would you be feeling like you're feeling right now had you
-
not come into the House of the Lord. There's no house like his house.
-
I remember visiting Grandma's house. How many of you have good memories of
-
going to Grandma's fond memories, old house. Sweet The memories are for some
-
of us. Maybe some of you got beat with Grandma's limbers witts and you're
-
not reflecting so well on those wonderful years of spending time with Grandma. But
-
I appreciated Grandma. She was such a precious lady, Such a precious lady.
-
There's saints in this building this morning that I believe have been with us
-
for a good while. Now we're celebrating sixteen years as the Bethel Hole in
-
this church at this location. There had been a hole in this church prior
-
to our arrival, but for some reason it had some what this band had
-
dissolved. And I remember the Lord giving me a burden today of South Florida.
-
We were busy preaching at a brand new truck and trailer, and God
-
was a blessing. We were preaching a lot of days of the month.
-
God just gave me a burden for the LaBelle, and I thought, why
-
LaBelle. I don't even know where Labelle's at. Fortunately, it was in
-
Paradise down to South Florida, and I remember asking people, do you know
-
anything of LaBelle? No, I don't know anything of LaBelle. But then
-
I remembered good Brother Bill Thurton had been down here, and we came down
-
here sixteen years ago, I believe it was in two thousand and seven,
-
and it was with some precious people. Brother and sister Platte were here,
-
and brother and sister him and those were the only souls that were here at
-
that time. Sisterham is coming in now. As far as I know,
-
she is the only one that's still living. But over a period of time
-
God has blessed us that he has added to the church. Somebody told me
-
many years ago, in fact, sixteen years ago, they said, you'll
-
never build a holiness church in South Florida. And Brother Market junts and I
-
said, you're right, You're absolutely right. I will not do it,
-
but God will. How many of you know this is the Lord's doings and
-
it's marvelous in his eyes. I believe it's of the Lord, and so
-
I'm so thankful for every transplant, every soul that has been saved, everybody
-
that's been sanctified, everybody that's been filled with a holy ghost in this sacred
-
place. Did you appreciate the singing that the youth choir and younger don't choir
-
saying, I mean, it was just so good, so good. This
-
is the place where we dedicate every child. This is also the place where
-
we say goodbye. It's also a good place to come home prodigal sons and
-
daughters. You're out there this morning, and you're in a land and serving
-
God from a guilty distance. You could draw nine to God. He'll draw
-
nine to you. How many of you feel the presence of the Lord,
-
You've already acknowledged that you feel his presence. So we're celebrating sixteen years and
-
again, there was a church here before we got here, But we like
-
to merge the two works and give honor to those that labored in this region,
-
in this area prior to us. And I'm so thankful for those that
-
labored before us and made it possible for us to be here today. The
-
forerunners that follow the hordes of hell just to secure this piece of property.
-
You know, we have remodeled the building. But I'm just so thankful for
-
all of the blood, sweat, tears that have been poured into it,
-
Brother Jeremi, by own measures of ecclesiastical, ministerial and pastoral of successes.
-
I would say it's been a disaster. Not really, it's been really good.
-
It's been really good. God has held this in a wonderful way.
-
But I want to tell you something. Talent and genius cannot do this.
-
Only God can do this. And there's two other things that are very important
-
in this, this endurance and persistence. Not only did the apostle Paul have
-
feelings of discouragement and feelings of giving up, Elijah also had the same feelings,
-
and so did Jeremiah. In fact, the great prophet Jeremiah, it
-
is considered to be a major prophet. At one point he said that sitting
-
board, I'm done. I'm not even gonna minister your name. I'm not
-
gonna mention it. I'm not going to preach it anymore. But then he
-
said his words in my heart like a fire, shut up in my balls.
-
I'm wear it with for there and I cannot hold back, but they
-
still had those feelings. Are just giving up. They were gave out.
-
Talent and genius can keep you going and didn't keep the people before us going.
-
It hasn't kept us going for sixteen years. Talent genius is not enough.
-
It's persistence. There's upsets, there's times things turns upside down. We've
-
been in different locations, but God has saw us through. And I cannot
-
think of a single service where God's presence has not been in our mid since
-
God that has done this. It's his doings. It's marvelous in our eyes
-
of it. But persistence. The Bible said that Elijah was a man subject
-
to our passions as we are, but the difference was he prayed. That's
-
why he was successful in this life. We can be successful only if Jesus
-
is the one orchestrating the events of our life and also enabling us. He's
-
the orchestrator, right, He's the author, he's the finisher of our faith
-
that we haven't done this, but He has done this. And it's beautiful.
-
It's a beautiful thing to look out here and see what God has done.
-
And how many of you know God's not finished but sometimes between the point
-
of getting started, or between the point of the beginning and the ending,
-
there's a period there that you wonder, has everybody gave up on us?
-
Is everybody tired of you're in us? Is everybody okay with us just shutting
-
it down. We've been there. We've been there when the rent was due.
-
We've been there whenever the people in the community didn't like the fact that
-
would have been the wholeness church was in this region. We've been there and
-
they said, you will not put a hole Inness church in side of the
-
city limits of thebel We've been there when holiness was not respected, it was
-
despised and hated that. It wasn't talent and genius that got us to this
-
point, it was endurance and persistence in God. This is what my confidence
-
hangs on. My confidence hangs on the voice of the Lord said, there
-
is to be a holiness work in Libel, that if God has ordained it,
-
every time the enemy comes in like a flood, because he will come
-
in sometimes like an emmy tide, sometimes like a flood. But when the
-
enemy comes in like a flood, then by what the spirit of the Lord,
-
we can rest assure knowing that the spirit of the Lord shall up raise
-
up with standard against it. And there's been times, I'm telling you,
-
we've overcome feelings of discouragement, doubt, and despair, and even the demons
-
of hell that have opposed us, only because of the goodness and the grace
-
of the Lord. We just held on until the storm was over. We
-
just embraced the cross until the flood tides. And the way when Mighty bellows
-
over us rolled, I'm telling you they did too. They rolled over us.
-
They planted us flat on our face, our hope and our strength,
-
that our confidence has been in the Lord, when man has failed us,
-
when the dagger betrayal has smote us in the heart. Our Lord has been
-
faithful, sister. We're here right now because he's been faithful. They said,
-
there was seventy four here last Sunday, seventy seven here this morning.
-
That is because of the goodness and the grace of the Lord. That's a
-
far crime from four that was here sixteen years ago. Somebody that meant well.
-
They called me about four years into this ministry and they said, you're
-
going to lose every son and your daughter, every son you have in your
-
daughter in an attempt to try to save people in the bell. They said,
-
we've been there, we've lived there, We've moved away from Label in
-
order to save our family. And I said, the only thing I can
-
hold on to, dear brother, is when y'all got sent out, God
-
sent me in. He said, what I'm just telling you, gonna lose
-
your entire family. It ain't happening yet, only the calls of the goodness
-
of the Lord. Only because of the grace of God. Talent and genius
-
could not do it, but how good God could do it. And I
-
want you to know, if God has helped us these sixteen years, God
-
can help us another sixteen years. Because he can help us sixteen years,
-
he can help us for sixteen generations. Deffie Terry's I'm telling you, I
-
feel the presence of the Lord in his place this morning. I'm thankful for
-
what God has done. There's not enough time to have some testify and thank
-
Him for what he's done for us here, but we will do that some
-
tonight. I do thank you. It's such a privilege to have our brother
-
Johnson, my missionarybody here this morning and his precious family. Brother Barfield,
-
your family to have y'all home. I'm telling you that's so good. And
-
the grandson is Sister Pollard. Let me tell you something for him. I
-
was going to a place of business in central Florida. I had an appointment
-
there. It was a good appointment. I was picking up a paycheck from
-
one of my customers. And I was near what's called the Polk Parkway,
-
if anybody's familiar with the Pole Parkway, just off to the west side of
-
Lakeland, Florida. And I was driving there and Sister Monica Barfield had forwarded
-
me a clip of Sister Pollard singing while she was in the assistant living facility.
-
And the Holy just got to move it on Sister Pollard. And I'll
-
tell you this, the Holy just got to move it on me as well.
-
And I will never forget it. Brother man, you were talking about
-
how the Lord gives us have places by divine appointment, and how we can
-
take the devil to the place and say this is where I met with God.
-
I met with God right there on the Pole Parkway. God came by
-
and the spirit war witness with my spirit, and I shook his hand twice.
-
I said, any grandson of Sister Pallard is a friend of mine,
-
and I'm so glad he's here this morning. The visitors on the back to
-
you there the brother and the black shirt that mean to sing doing you.
-
I'm good to see you this morning. Who else is over here? Looks
-
like the rest are home, folks raise the Lord and brother fall Wrath.
-
There are giants in the land today. I was getting dressed for church this
-
morning, and I said, there's giants in the land. Not only are
-
there giants in the land physically, there's giants in the land spiritually. I
-
appreciate him, I appreciate everything he stands for him as precious wife. Just
-
to know there here today is man. It just brings strength, does it
-
not? Just brings strength to the Bethel hole in his church. To know
-
that we're not friendless, to know that we've got brothers and sisters of Lafe,
-
precious faith of this caliber capacity, so good to have them here this
-
morning. Brother Vonaras, come around and obey the Lord. If you have
-
been touched, aready, would you just ring your hands up to Heaven and
-
love with Jesus An. We appreciate this to your brother. Wonderful to be
-
in the house of the Lord today. Glad to be here be among us.
-
People really do appreciate the invitation to be here for they and the folks
-
here a beathful holiness church and just so meaning to I don't know your names,
-
really thankful for you and remember your faces from being through before. And
-
that's just thankful for what the Lord's doing for going to fill it this wonderful
-
for God is God for him, and it's really thankful for that. God
-
is good. David said, I was glad when they said them, and
-
there let us go into the House of the Lord. You know the wonderful
-
thing about this place, and a lot of focus has been on sundayscreen this
-
wing on the House of God, and Brother Harold has reminded us of the
-
work and the labor and it's went into building a work right here. But
-
the reason this is a special place is it's a meeting place and we do
-
get to meet our friends and our loved ones here and thank God for that.
-
But more importantly it's a meeting place with the Lord. Man, well,
-
we can meet God right here in the House of the Lord. The
-
place has been designated for that. I know. You can meet Him in
-
the woods I know you can meet him right down the road, sitting at
-
your dinner table, and a whole lot of other places. The Lord comes
-
by and meets with us. Thank God for that. I'm glad He'll meet
-
with us all around the day, twenty four hours a day. He never
-
sleeps, and he never slumbers. He's always available. Thank God for that.
-
But I'm lad for a place where we can come to the House of
-
the Lord with people of like faith and like mind, and come together to
-
worship the Lord, and to know, if confidence, that God will meet
-
with us, and may do you. I have felt his presence here today.
-
Enjoyed the service, I tell you, George, of those young people,
-
Thank God, Amen, that's You're very blessed have these young men and
-
young women, young children worshiping the Lord, singing for him, quoting those
-
scriptures, enjoyed those stem commandments. Wasn't that wonderful, church Man? It
-
was? And I enjoyed that. I always enjoy hearing the children do their
-
Bible versus we do that, And it's always a blessing to hear children learning
-
the world of God. Amen, home coming Sunday. It's what a privilege
-
it is to be able to assemble. The yeahs, people were glad you're
-
here. Since I don't know you, most of you, I don't know
-
who's his. That's good. I'm rich relivering. Amen, So we're mad.
-
I do know Brother Marcus and dear friends of Ourns. Just to leave
-
you there boys on here their visiting. I know that, but we're really
-
glad that they're here today with us. Man for my wife, I appreciate
-
her and she's been the love of my mine for thirty seven years. Yeah,
-
I only one that only one of walk and you say amen, thank
-
God for my wife. Appreciate her today and just thank God for this this
-
service. I hope the Lord to speak to somebody's heart today and a minister
-
to you on this homecoming Sunday. I know we been a lot of preparation
-
for this day, and there was a lot of hard work, and I
-
appreciate all that you've done to make this a special day. But the most
-
special thing you could ever happening somebody you went home. Those special things happened
-
today. You have your bibles, will be reading a very familiar scripture of
-
portion of text the Book of Saint Luke and the fifteenth chapter Saint Luke,
-
chapter fifteenth. If you wouldn't please stand for the reading of top word,
-
and we begin reading in the eleventh verse. And he said a certain man
-
had two somons. The younger of them said to his father, give me
-
the portion of goods that falled to me, and he divided unto him.
-
He's living. Not many days after, the younger son gathered altogether and took
-
his journey into a forei country, and they're wasted as substance with riteous.
-
When he had spent all the arose a mighty family in that land, he
-
began to be in warmt and he went and joined himself to a citizen of
-
that country. He sent him into fields defeat swine, and he would fain
-
have filled his body with the husk that was wine did eat, and no
-
man gave unto him. When he came to himself, he said, I
-
mean he hired servants of my fathers, have read enough and to spare,
-
and I perished with hunger. I will arise and go to my father,
-
and I will say it to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven
-
and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
-
Make me as one of thy iron servants. He arose and came to his
-
father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw
-
him, had compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.
-
And the son said to him, father, I have sinned against heaven and
-
in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
-
But the father said to his servants, bring forth the best ruth, put
-
it on him, and bring a ring, and put a ring on his
-
hand, and shoes on his feet, and bring him of the fatted calf,
-
and kill it, and let us eat and be married. For this
-
my son was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found,
-
and they begin to be married. This is a very familiar parable,
-
I knowe to most of you Bible readers of the prodigal son. Brother Howel
-
already mentioned. You know about the prodigals coming home. And that's where this
-
come from, that statement he made concerning those that were all those that had
-
left the safety of the House of God and the safety of the sheep fold.
-
Here we have a son that left his father's home, a place of
-
safety, a place of security, a safe harbor, the sheep fold,
-
and he was in communion with the Father. He was saved, if you
-
will. He was one that was safe within the fold. He was among
-
the sheep, He was among the family. He was part of the family
-
of God. This is where this young man was, and he had safety
-
there. He had a security there, and all the things that he needed
-
was provided for him right there. All did he needed. He didn't have
-
to go nowhere else to serve. He didn't have to go anywhere else to
-
find things that he needed. It was all provided in the father's house.
-
But there come a time that there was a longing in his heart, and
-
the Bible says he went into a far country that was a place away from
-
God. It was a life without God. It was a life indulging in
-
the pleasures of sin. He was outside of the safety of the father's house,
-
and he had went out and drifted deep into sin. He leaves the
-
father's house and he walks among people that he had not been familiar with and
-
had not been the people he had known. He had not reflected the principles
-
and the structure that he had found in the father's house. And as this
-
young man begins to wander away, and he begins to seek after his whole
-
heart's desire long and for something else out there pulling on his heart. It's
-
your man beginst indulge in things that he was never allowed to do in the
-
father's house. He begins indulgent things that he had long to try. But
-
it wasn't turning out the way he thought it would. It wasn't working.
-
It's good for him like he thought it might. Run all tell you,
-
the devil a pull on people's hearts, and he'll drag him away from the
-
safety of God. He'll cause him to be pulled away by temptation. Friend,
-
you don't have to be pulled away. The only way you are is
-
when you yield to the temptation. The troll is pulling on you. Doesn't
-
have to control you, but it's when you yield to that. And this
-
young man yields to that takes his money, and the Bible says he wastes
-
it on riighteous living. Righteous living means unruly, unrestrained, disorderly, reckless,
-
wasting his inheritance. It's a lifestyle of sin. That's the kind of
-
life this young man began to indulge in. And this is the kind of
-
like this young man began to find himself trapped in There's something about sin Bren
-
that's not so fun. It entangles you, It gets a hold of you,
-
it gets a grip on your life. You think you can control it,
-
you think you can handle this. I've talked to people before that's right
-
on the dence of going out of the House of God. I trying to
-
pull for them. I'm trying to tell them, this is not what you
-
want to do. You don't want to go the way you wanted to go.
-
You don't realize what you're doing. You don't understand the danger out there.
-
You don't know, you don't understand what the devil has it's thought for
-
you. I remember talking to a specific young man. He was young,
-
married man, and the devils are pulling on him, and I told him
-
those things, and I said, son, you don't understand. The devil's
-
out to destroy you. He's out to ruin your life. He's out to
-
wreck your whole. I could see it in his eyes, and I said,
-
you don't believe what I'm telling you, do you? And he shook
-
his head. He said no, he didn't believe it. Brother Jesse.
-
He thought he could control that, He thought he could go out there he
-
could keep a handle on sin and he didn't have to control his life.
-
He didn't have to wreck his marriage, he didn't have to ruin him.
-
But he was so mistaken. The devil drug him out through the murk of
-
sin. I'm telling you, I don't want to go into a lot of
-
detail about his life, but he destroyed his lie. Not too many months
-
ago, he calls me in a drunken stupor. He said, brother Glynn,
-
can you pray for me? Will you pray for me? I said,
-
where are you at? He told me where is it? I said,
-
let me come where yet? And he said, no, just pray
-
for me. And I talked to him a little longer, so I headed
-
to his house. I found out he had been under the influence of alcohol
-
for about five days, wasn't eating, just drinking himself away. He was
-
out trouble. His life was wrecked, his marriage is almost completely destroyed.
-
His children don't want anything to do with him anymore. I'm telling your friend,
-
don't you underestimate what the devil a do you if edly the house of
-
God, the house of God is that place of safety. Everybody that leaves
-
the house of God, don't leave for the same reasons. There are variety
-
of reasons people leave the House of God. This young man in my text
-
today, he left seeking pleasure. He left seeking all the sin and the
-
world had to offer. So I will leave the House of God because they're
-
being drawn away seeking after the deceitfulness of riches. Money has drawn people away
-
from the House of God. I'm telling you it's a reason the Bible calls
-
it the deceitfulness of riches. Riches won't make you happy. Friend. Money
-
will not buy you peace of min He'll not buy you joy and your soul.
-
The only real joy you'll ever find us in the House of God.
-
The only real peace you'll ever find us in the House of God. It's
-
not out there in money. Money won't do that. But many have left
-
the safety of the House of God in search of riches. Oh yeah.
-
Many have left because they resided the rigid rules, or the strictness, or
-
the responsibilities that fuck the Father placed upon them. They said, this is
-
too hard. I don't know live this way. I don't like the way
-
they tell it there. I don't like what they expect you to do.
-
I don't like what the word of God says why can't I go do this,
-
and why can't I do that? They don't honor in love the world
-
of God. I tell you, the word of God has got some rules.
-
The Word of God has got some commands a man. But some have
-
left the House of God because the want to come under any of that.
-
We got a generation today they don't like nobody telling them nothing. How they
-
knew you saw them had left because they resented the rules at the Father's house.
-
They didn't appreciate the safety of their rules. They didn't appreciate the benefit
-
of that kind of life, but they resented the rules in the Father's house.
-
So we walked away from the Father's house. Because they become discouraged in
-
the house of God, their parent of life suffered. Their Bible reading began
-
to be delected in their life. They didn't necessarily say I don't like to
-
God, I don't want nothing to do with the church. But they just
-
got this courage. They got weak spiritually, and they just didn't have what
-
they took to withstand against the evils of this day and be able to stand
-
against cetifications of the enemy of their soul. They began to get weakened.
-
Their spirit and weak in their life, and this crazement kept the hold of
-
them. And in a little while somebody said to him, had whispered in
-
there and said, what's the use You ain't got what you're supposed to have
-
anyway. You stand up with the satsan, raise your hands, but your
-
heart's got hid it. You sing with a choir, but you're not really
-
in that. Oh. No, disturnment has called the media person. Don't
-
walk out of the house of God. Other people have least because they were
-
dead, they had been hurt, they had been wounded in the house of
-
the Lord. So the greatest heard anybody will ever face is it hurt that
-
you find mhmm by those that love you and you love them. And that's
-
how you You know, you say some things to me. You know,
-
I might say not said, and you know, brother Sam, you might
-
walk up and say something and I said, what's you lint? Sense?
-
You? Yeah? I brush you all pretty easy. H The fact of
-
the matter is, I said, you know, if you don't past you,
-
you better have tousk in. I don't like that, brother, But
-
you know who can penetrate through that more than anybody else, Those this cob
-
system, those that are the dearest to me, and when they perk you.
-
Some people have walked away, Well did I said, friend, who
-
reason that a person leaves? It's really not all that important. That just
-
wants you to love. It don't matter if you got hurt, if it's
-
discouraged, It didn't matter a few alls for the world. Are you resire
-
the rules? Amen? It really matter to him this law is he left
-
the house of God. It didn't make much difference to him. What calls
-
you to leave, Just long as he accomplished to pull you away from the
-
house of God, that's what mattered to the devil didn't make much difference to
-
him. And I'll tell you something. I know that those that leave the
-
house of God, that leave the Father's house, that ultimately, if they
-
don't find their way back home, we know that ultimately it all ends up
-
in the same place. Aultimately their life is failed in destruction. And hell
-
if they don't find their way back home. But that's not so. Don't
-
misunderstanding the statement of fixing to say here, because I'm speaking of in this
-
life, all people that leave the House of God don't end up in the
-
same place in this life. Some of them will go down to the deepest
-
in the darkest places and ruts in love of sin, and they live on
-
skin row. Some of them will end up in the most horrible conditions man
-
about alcohol, are trials and many other sinful attractions. It gripped their lives
-
and calls him to fall in the ruin, but all of them don't.
-
Some people will lead a very respectable life and in the eyes of the world,
-
very successful. I've heard Christians often look at somebody that's living a very
-
sinful lifestyle, no profession of God, not interested in church, but very
-
successful. Take an advantage of others in business, do it wrong, lie,
-
cheating, conniving in a lot of different ways, but seem like inspite
-
of it all, they succeed in so many ways. It's fighting it all.
-
Seem like they get by and do well. Don't suffer very much in
-
this life. Don't suffer financial heartship, don't suffer physical heartship, and look
-
like you just go and go, and you wonder, Lord, why in
-
the world will they get by? Everybody don't end up in the same place
-
when they leave the house at all. So lead very successful and respectable eyes
-
in the eyes of the world. But some lead to seclution, loneliness,
-
isolation, meaning things happened to people who walk away from the Father's house.
-
But don't you understand something. There's a way back home. Yeah, I
-
said, there's a way that can praise God. There's brand in the Father's
-
outside of the glory to God. There's safety in the father's house, their
-
security in the father's house. There's a place of regions in the father's house.
-
There's a way back home in a matter where you didn't it. No
-
matter where you are today, I don't know how preaching you this morning,
-
But in no matter where your love is, len't you freak if you're outside
-
of this heart of safety? There is a way back. Sometimes we give
-
up on people. We look at where they're at. We think, oh
-
God, how could they ever find their way home? How could they ever
-
get back? How could they ever come back to the knowledge of the truth.
-
Knowing the depths of sin there entangled in their lives and all messed up
-
in so many ways? We think, how will they ever get that straight?
-
How will they ever get that fixed? I'm telling you, brother,
-
there's a way back home. How they knew you and in this parable that
-
Jesus gave us. We see in verse number seventeen. The first step to
-
finding your way back home bread is to admit, how to acknowledge where you're
-
at and the sin you have committed. He's in and when he came to
-
himself, Hey, friend, that's how to be uncoming to you, saying
-
there's gotta be awaited e. They gotta be a realization then what I'm doing,
-
what I'm doing. He's not getting me aware. You gotta be someunthing
-
on the inside. It comes to an acknowledgement. Oh God, I don't
-
want to be where I'm at. Oh God, I know I shouldn't be
-
doing what I'm doing. Oh God, stir my heart, make me up.
-
God, we'll just run the hard at somebody. We must recognize where
-
we are and admit I need for God. This man said, Hey,
-
I look at myself. Look where I'm at. He said, Man,
-
if I can home in the father's house, the dad servants, he's got
-
a better I got here. I am perisson with hunger. I'm beating this
-
wave. Such a shameful john for a Jewish boy friend. I'll kay something.
-
I don't know who this is. For your life may be leading you
-
into places that you wouldn't want to picture to know about it. You wouldn't
-
want your family to do secrets that you don't want nobody. And I'll tell
-
you something. Acknowledge for you and God. Admit your condition. That's the
-
first step to find in your day. You might sit on the for you
-
every Sunday, but you have strayed from the Father's house. And I won't
-
tell you that. You know it and God knows it. God knows it,
-
and you knowledge. You must acknowledge where you're at. You must admit
-
your need of God. And then I want you to notice the verse number
-
eighteen. You must you must act upon that that you acknowledge. You know
-
it's a lot of people sit on a Sunday morning. They rolled out of
-
that man that slept in and worked hard all week, that's carried to the
-
House of God all their life as children. They know what tried. Mama
-
and Daddy's in the house of God. Grandma ram holding the house of God.
-
But this wayward child is setting it. Hold rolled out of the man,
-
rubbing their fingers to their heads and saying, how in the world did
-
I get here? I need to go to church. But they don't do
-
it. You ain't gologistic knowledge, and you gotta act upon it right.
-
You gotta let up in your mind. I know where I'm messed up.
-
I know I've done roll. I'm gonna this something. I'm having God,
-
Glory to God. I've heard the testimony of people when they were in trouble
-
and they were out in sin and they have problems in their life, and
-
they said, oh God, you'll help me right here. I won't go
-
to church. I'm gonna do better. Praise God. Be former pastor mine.
-
He's dead. Brother Stone. He was in the World War too,
-
and he was there and he said it looked like the whole wild was on
-
fire. He said, he's on the ship when they were bombing Oknawan and
-
he said, bombs and going off, planes on fire, falling eye the
-
sky, body's floating in the water. He said, it looked like the
-
whole world was on fire. I said it about like he used to say.
-
He said, I scab now they do die. He said, I
-
promise God, if you'll let me get that on, I'm gonna serve you.
-
Res God about eighteen nineteen year old boys hearing the day he knew he
-
was wayward. He knew he was done right. He said, Oh God,
-
if you're that man, I'll go back. But you know what he
-
said, He said, I got home, I forgot about God. He
-
said, I started drinking. He said, I drank till I bombed.
-
Grant what you did, he said, I drank and I get drunk,
-
and I wouldn't know where my car was at find myself back at home.
-
Didn't he know where my all who he goes wrecked and he being a ditch
-
somewhere found my way home. And he'd tell about all that, he said.
-
But one day he said, I went to church twenty five years old,
-
and he said that my Lord saved me. He found his way back
-
home. He tell I'm ringing. You got act about it. You just
-
need some mind, some thoughts in your mind. Said I know I need
-
to do better. I know I need to pray more. I know I
-
need to go to the house of God. I know I need to do
-
this for that prince. You must act upon it. This young man saw
-
his lead and said, all these sinners to himself, And the Bible says
-
he a room went back to the father's house. Oh go read to God,
-
and I'll tell you something else about it. The Bible says that he
-
had in his mind, he had all built up in his mind how it's
-
gonna be. When he got there, he said, this is where to
-
me. He said, they're gonna look at me, and I'll say,
-
what a mess. I'm letting record that one's got to read between Lin't you
-
aren't gonna look at me and say you ought to be ashamed of yourself?
-
You just talk better that, right, I know, better living, you
-
know, preach to your mom. Dad. Yeah, that's what he had
-
in his man. You know what, his responsors don't be there. He
-
said, I'm gonna say I'm ashamed of myself. I'm said against heaven.
-
I said, to get you, dad, And he said, I don't
-
even want you to call me son no more. Just make me be my
-
servant, prays God. So you know that a long place you got down
-
there on outside, had a long hunt down there. Nobody likes to stay
-
here, and you just had any tasting neither of that. That's the one
-
I'll take. That's the worst one you got. But I've been laying to
-
have it. Rick, did you hear this moment? And I'm the same
-
with my voice, and you're thinking about what you need to do. Oh,
-
you to understand something. It ain't gonna be like you. Thank it.
-
WI. You're gonna slapp You gotta repet, you gotta mean business.
-
You gotta get right with God. I'll tell you what you'll find in the
-
house of God. You'll find somebody got hold know you suck the whole celebrate
-
somebody that was come home. I talk your behind him. You love h
-
Some years ago, I was involved in a situation. I wouldn't I wouldn't
-
involved you. I was involved in the respiration of a situation where somebody hit
-
you commit the horrible, shameful ship. He was very shameful. But it
-
come out they got cold. Hm. When you come out, there's a
-
husband and wife involved in this situation. When he come out, the guilty
-
party confessed that stood up with me. He said, I'm sorry, and
-
they ran the hold and they bound down into the halter and in the weeping
-
crowd of the you know what de sights you're gonna do, yes, stand
-
bak saying no more can deserve that. They fell in there with the brother
-
right, and they got in there to praying with this person and they went
-
with him. They cried with them, right, he said, God,
-
I forgive you. Yeah, yeah, you know what. There was no
-
shall there's too much hurt, too much shame. The day was forgiveness that
-
day, Oh God, there was some setback and didn't want it to be
-
that way. They want a judgment, right, that didn't want You're gonna
-
find father and you'll find forgiveness. You'll find love. You'll find somebody that
-
says I love you, love you. That's what you'll find. Your Father's
-
outside of the devil will tell you a lot of anacious group. Come on
-
the bad pianos, you will love. You'll tell you a lot of things.
-
You'll tell you how bad it'll be. You'll tell you how it's gonna
-
be handled. And you know, you just it just becomes more than you
-
get batter. I'm gonna tell you that you're gonna find forgiveness in the father's
-
house and you're gonna find love. I don't know who I'm preaching to you
-
this morning. I know I've said that already. Maybe it's to some way
-
with person who's left the father's house, or maybe it's somebody dis contantly leaving
-
the father's house. I will tell you the best place you can ever finds
-
at the Father's house, a place of security and safety and a wicked and
-
adultery generation. A day that we have gone so wrong, the world has
-
lost its way, Jenny, believe. I can't want to believe, want
-
a man's win. But I'll tell you there's some places of safety. Now
-
here's the place I hear this one brief. The spear of the Lord is
-
where God will reach you. Falla will help you, God will restore you.
-
Oh, yes, hey, go, don't kill the body death.
-
We donna celebrate. Don't bring the word. Let's celebrate. My son that
-
was lost has been family, My son that I thought was dead. Oh,
