Heaven's Hotline - Bro Jeremy Howell 6-23-2024

With you this morning your copy of God's Holy Word. Would you turn with

me to the Book of Exodus, and may I direct your attention to the

second chapter. We will be reading the twenty third through the twenty fifth verse.

Brother Nathaniel, codtex Psalm chapter number thirty four and verse number six,

Brother Jesse Verse Peter, chapter number three and verse number twelve. We'll try

to get you out of here in about an hour. How many fills in

an hour of preaching is too long? Well, not a soul in the

building, so we'll try not to keep it any longer than one hour.

You remember what Jesus told his disciples when he hosted that prayer meeting in the

garden Agassemine. He said, could you not watch with me one hour?

So we've had I think forty five minutes of Sunday school, about forty minutes

of morning worship, and now about an hour of preaching. I may be

off on those estimated times, but I do appreciate the opportunity to be in

his house on his day. How many of you know the scripture does teach

that this is his day, and I know every day is his day,

but this is a day set aside to honor him and to hear from the

Lord. May we hear from the Lord today, Brother Nathaniel, Salm chapter

number thirty four and verse number six. Listen carefully. This poor man cried,

and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles.

How many of you believe if you cry out unto the Lord, he hears

you, and he's willing to deliver you out of your distresses, Brother Jesse,

Verse Peter, chapter number three and verse number twelve. For the eyes

of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open to their

prayers. But the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Wow, I'm glad that the Lord is listening to our cries and that his

ears are attentive and open to our prayer. I'm glad, Sister Wooton,

that he has and awareness of us in our needs. Let's stand for the

reading of our golden text again. Exodus chapter number two, Verses number twenty

three through twenty five. The Bible says, and it came to pass in

process of time that the King of Egypt died, and the children of Israel

signed by reason of the bondage. And they cried, and their cry came

up unto God by reason of the bondage, and God heard their groaning,

and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob, and

God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.

Let's pray together, Please Heaven, if Father, we love it, We

praise you. We thank you for the opportunity to be in your house.

We thank you for this, thy people. I pray that you would say

of God at their ears, and help them to hear what it is the

spirit of God says under this church this point, and bless them in a

body way. I pray that you would ant this, thy servant said it,

guard in my mouth, and help me to say only the things that

you would have me to say. Nothing more less. We pray God,

that you would help these words to go below the shoulder. Let them get

in the spirit and the soul, not in the mind only. Don't let

them go in one ear and out the other, but let them saturate our

entire being. Let us not here only, but let us heed. We

pray God that you would help each and every one in this building. And

may they depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus' naming, the

church says, hey, man, look at your neighbor and say, hey,

neighbor, we have a delivering savior for desperate souls. I want to

preach a message the Holy Ghost titled Heaven's Hotline. Heaven's Hotline. Our text

is found in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of

Exodus. This book of the Bible provides the readers of it with important details

about the the lifestyles and life events of the children of God, including those

of Moses, Miriam, and Aaron. How many of you recognize the names

of those biblical characters, Moses, Miriam, and Aaron. In this particular

book of the Bible, you will find many events that took place in those

precious people's lives. Life itself was not easy on those three individuals who were

siblings. Again, life itself was not easy on those three siblings, even

though they were Levites, they were special people. They were chosen by God

to be leaders amongst God's people. But if you'll read this particular book of

the Bible, you will find that life will not easy owned him. I've

taught the Howell children that life is not fair, and that life can be

very cruel, and unfortunately, circumstances and situations change life, sometimes for the

better, and sometimes they change life for the worse. And so among the

details of these Hebrew people's life, we find in this sacred writing one very

important detail, and the title of this book mentions that important details Exodus.

God's people were exiting the land of Egypt, or leaving the land of their

captivity. You see, the Lord God had told the children of Israel to

get up and to lead the land of Egypt. It was no longer a

land of blessing for them. It was now a bird. And look at

your neighbor and say, hey, are you burdened or are you blessed?

I feel like there's some people in this building this morning that would throw up

their hands and shout out, I am blessed, while others would silently pray

and utter these words, I am burdened. And I want to preach this

morning to that person that is burden, that person that has found themselves in

an unpleasant situation. And so here in this particular book of the Bible,

we find that the children of God are no longer content living within the borders

of Egypt. They are no longer content living inside of the land of their

captivity. I feel like there's people in this building this morning that are no

longer happy living the life that they're leading. They're no longer happy in sin.

The Bible said that sin is ealth. Can be pleasurable for a moment

or for a season, but after a while, it will no longer be

pleasant. I'm thinking of some people in my life in days gone by,

this set out to do something they thought that they would enjoy, only to

find it later to be a bitter morsel in their mouth. They would say

later, it was not what I expected, it was not what I went

out looking for, and they became burned because they found it to be a

situation of bondage. There's been people that have got into romantic relationships that they

thought would have been a pleasant adventure, only to find that they are burned

with that person because of the cruelty of that person. I want to preach

to you, if you'll hang tight right here this morning, you'll see that

this land of Egypt is no longer a land and of sustenance. It is

a land of slavery. I'm telling you the prodigal son went out into the

far country, the Bible says, and after that he had got into that

far country, he found out that it was not a land of sustenance.

It was a land of slavery. But when you're in the perfect will of

God and in the Father's house, you will find it to be a land

or a place of sustenance. The prodigal son came to his senses, and

he said, I realized that there is bread enough and to spare in my

father's house. There's some people in this building that would throw up pans and

say, I feel like I'm living in the land of bread. I feel

like I'm in the house of brand I am so blessed. While there'd be

other people that would utter these words, I feel like compound. I feel

I converurning today to those people I'm preaching. How many people here today know

of someone who is stuck in a lifestyle of sin? Hapn of you know

somebody that is stranded on an island of despair? Heaven? If you know

somebody that is found to shapels of their own sin, I do many of

you in this building this morning are living in bondage to sin. The Book

of Exodust lets the stone that the Lord Jesus desires to keep each one.

He desires to help each one. He desires to help each one escape their

slavery to sin. If they be in such a state as this, If

every person who is found by sin would obey the voice of the Lord and

follow him, he would grant them a spiritual exodust from their land of captivity.

It is true, in the land of Egypt there is no freedom.

You can ask the drug user and the drug abuser that out there in that

world, it is a land of captivity. They call hotline after hotline looking

for help. In this country. When someone finds themselves in a crisis,

there are many places and people that a person can turn to for help.

There's a variety of servicesm there's a service for the unwin mother that's a precarious

situation. There is a service for that person that is contemplating suicide. There

is a hotline for somebody that is bound by drug addiction, somebody to suffering

with depression. There is a hotline for every crisis in this blaicit country.

But you know what, sometimes we find out that the secular hot line is

not enough. When we hang up and they hang up on the other end

of the line, there really is a disconnection. You see the loneliness and

in despair and a distress comes back. It seems like a rebounds with fury.

It comes back to us and gets right in our face and tremis a

stay road in the hul of Israel. I'm going to bully you. You

sought help, and I'm gonna increase your sorrow. I'm gonna increase your labor.

I'm gonna increase the turmola in your life. I thank God that we

live in these United States of America. Truly, this is the greatest country

on the planet. But I do know according to our texture here this morning,

that include ImpACTA turned into one of the worst places over planet. The

Bible spoke of that country that would knowledge God, that it would be impressed

people, and it also strengthy of that country that would present God and turn

us back on God. That in time, eh, it would turn into

hell beeding, a place where you do not want to be. That's what

happened to the children of Israel. They have went to the land there of

Egypt, and they have been brest. Initially, everything there is going good,

but they fired themselves in and a time when they need heaven they support

again. I want to tell somebody there in this building today that sometimes have

the hot lives here of this world and are not going to cut it for

us. You can call that number so many times until you memorize and that

there's somebody on the other end of the line there that means well, they've

got a heart that wants to help you, man, that might even cry

with you, and they'll do what they care to encourage you. But I

want you to know there's a hot line there the devil does not want anybody

to know about. And this generation has been robbed there of the number.

They have no idea of the blessedness of the book. They have no idea

of the blessedness of the writings of this book. But they have no idea

of the power of the poacher scene of the blood of Jesus. You see,

the devil has taken this number, which is a royal telephone number,

and when you dial that number, it will get you to heaven. The

devil's done what he could to hide that number. That I'm telling somebody there

under the sound of my bossness part in health. That God's got a number

that you can call. I'm telling somebody, prayer is availab the support of

this world. It's not always enough. I did not say that they do

not help. Sometimes sometimes a little bit and sometimes a lot. That busting

the time, it is not enough. I want you to know, whatever

your need is, he you have support that you've got. Heaven's here,

Heaven is listening to your prayer. All you've got to do is hope for

yourself and pray. We prime in our texture that these people had a desire

to escape the slavery, to sin. There's somebody in this building today.

I have felt your burden. I have heard your prayer. I've heard your

crime that I want you to turn it from go and hoo inside on into

the years. And her brothers and sisters and father say than others who knows

the other of hot line say that I want you to current in opera and

learn how to sin now, just like Jesus still addressing the heaven, the

Father, our father, man, you're child of heaven. How they would

be A name will come home now? The Bible said the name of the

Lord is a strong tower, the righteous one, the doing that had not

seen. There's appalling to me. The children of this generation, they do

not know the name of Jesus, and they do not know the power of

the name of Jesus. In ar Texas pipe that the fair brother do Moses,

the fair brother do Joseph. He is dead now. He did not

know her. These people of God. He didn't care anything there about them.

I want you to know her. God knows your name. Lord and

God Man, what's a god true one? A preach to me to here

this morning. If every person who is bound by sin, which is simply

obeyed the voice of the Lord, I can hear the voice of the Lord

saying joy is coming in the morning. I can hear the voss of the

Lord saying, weep and may endure for the night, but joy is coming

in the morning. Light. God would grant that person that would cry out

unto him a spiritual exodust from the land of their captivity. It is true,

in the land of Egypt there is no freedom. It is shrew that

in the land of Egypt there is no liberty, there is no peace.

At this time, there is no rest. But that would follow the Lord.

He would be leading them on into the promised land. If you look

at our text again, the Bible said, and it came to pass them

in the process of time that the king of Egypt died, and the children

of Isral sided by reason of their bondage. And they cried, look at

your neighbors, say neighbor, And they cried, can you cry, ay

man? The Bible said, And their cry came up under God. Why

where they're crying? The Bible offers an explanation. It gives us an answer

because of their bondage. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his

covenant with Abraham, with the Isaacca, with Jacob, and God looked upon

the children of Israel, and he had respect unto them. I feel like

the eyes of God are in this place, right here this morning you were

coming today. After reading the verses of our gold in text, I can

say that that Israel Lza would not enjoying life at this time. It was

unpleasant the Bible readers and the Bible students know her that they had not always

been moaning, that had not always been loaning, that had not always been

experiencing her, and in earing unpleasant circumstances, had back Ben Joseph and Troll

invited him into the land of Egypt. It was all teachers of cream.

If you will just go down there and put there some tense states, put

up us tina, and just lived there in the land of Gshen. It

was not always a time of morning. It was not always a time of

groaning and criying. You could ask for the prodigal son that we read about

him a New testamenty. When he went away, it was a time of

partying. It was a time of woman eyes. It was a time of

cornicating. Now it was a time of revere. It was a time of

debckery. That the Bible said at the end of the day. Now so

the speaking was miserable that he found himself in the hog pill. Now that

come on. Now he finally realize, I'm I supposed to be here.

I didn't plan for this. It ain't always couldn't like this, say I

want to tell somebody tonight, man, it is not always gonna be like

this. If you will take the ancient rapper that called him to intront of

you, I said, I saw him the anxious signing in my sleep last

night. That was the call. It's not would be somebody there that excellent,

sir, I'm telling you all you got to do. It's calling it

the name of the Lord that called he Heaven's hotline, that Heaven will.

As I'm preaching, I'm trying to follow two points. My mental outline is

first, there must be an acknowledgement of a need. Secondly, there must

be a motivation for action. I cried out whenever I was distressed. I

cried out, and things shifted for the better. I cried out and things

took a turn for the better. Are you're praying for me church this morning?

And just watching? I'm telling you there's somebody in this fielding that is

very needful. They have a need. They're full of need. This message

is needful for somebody in this place. So the children of God, they

cried out to the Lord. This generation feels like they prayed when they were

little kids. They cried out once, and there's never a need again.

The Bible said, these boys and girls and daddies and mamas and elders were

all crying out unto the Lord. You're in this unpleasant situation and circumstances,

and they begin to mow and they begin to growl because of these unpleasant circumstances.

I've read many verses in the Bible concerning israel sarcher in Egypt, and

not many of them review it in a negative light. In fact, the

overall consensus by the Biblical writers of achers is this that it was the plan

of God and the will of God for them to be in Egypt for a

space of time. In fact, God had told Abraham many years prior that

they would go to Egypt in order to be sustained. But come on,

now, now we're reading of a time when an innocent working it is out

working out and it's just not cutting it. Oh, come on this,

somebody right now willing to be honest and saying, I thought I would go

out there, I thought things would improve to the matter, I thought it

would be pleasant, only to find out it's not a pleasant relationship. It's

not all the God in the Battle of chips. It's not a wonderful fling.

Now, why did I trade the House of God for the house of

pleasure? Why would I trade my dear geesus air for tuess for Come on,

now, somebody listen to their preacher. Man, Now you mustn't knowledge

your in need. That's the problem with people today, They won't call the

secular hotline. Now, that's what's wrong with their miss celebrities who committed suicide,

That's not what's wrong now with median influencers who commit a suicide. Man,

they did not call on the neighbor of the Lord. They did not

reach out to the right person. I'm telling you this learning you're in the

right place. You're in that company for the right person. Now, what's

in need, and that's pressent. That's what I did thirty one years ago.

I acknowledge my need. I'm needed and I'm in need of a savior.

I'm in unpleasant circumstances. Some of these things I may be experiencing because

of other people's choices. But now it's gonna be my choice that gets me

out. If you stay in Egypt, spiritually speaking, if you stay in

the land of your captivity and the land of your bondage, it is because

you chose to be there. If you did not receive help, it is

because you chose not to call on Heaven's hot line. Oh my Jesus,

this morning, I've read many verses where Egypt was spoken of as being a

place of blessing, for the children of Israel. But then the time came,

Brother Nathaniel, when they no longer had their own land in that place.

They no longer had the land of ghost and the call home. They

no longer owned their own homes. They were no longer resting well, they

were no longer eating well. In fact, Ghoshan is now a burden to

be living there. It is a burden. It is no longer a blessing

that was then, But this is now. I'm not talking about that first

pluff. I'm not talking about that first hit. I'm not talking about that

first one, not stand. I'm not talking about the first of this and

the first of that prodical son in that far country. I'm not talking about

the first of the forbidden in the far country. I'm talking about now,

right now, how he is? Is it pleasing? Oh? Come on?

Do you feel wholesome? Do you feel pure? Weal, dear peace,

so in your soul, not fristead in the land of tons? But

now who out now? What this all? Don't talk about how you feel

when you pray when you were eight years old. Well, I'm talking about

right now. Sorry, honey, I'm run. How do you feel right

now? The scriptures before us today show us the situations can take a turn

for the worse. The Lord had hardened the heart of favor, and he

chose to ruthlessly oppress the Israelites with forced hard labor. How many of you

know the Bible sin? The sin is a hard taskmaster. Oh yes,

the works of the wicked have their rewards, yes they do, but they

are not pleasant rewards. And we find that this hard labor. This bring

us to our second point. It was strong motivation to take action. I

know of one particular man when he found out his wife was expecting their first

child. He looked at his drug use and abuse, and he said,

this is no way to be living as I raise a child in this cruel

world. And he went home, not to a church, it was a

church day. He went home and made an altar at the end of his

bed, and he prayed. And he got delivered right then and there.

He didn't have to call a hot linar. They prayed. He got delivered

from alcoholism and drug use and abuse. That he is now an adult Sunday

school class teacher and a pedecostal and a holiness church. Oh, come on,

And he said in the way of the transgressor is hard, hasn't said

in the Word of God. But now he's living the good life. You

see, there was periods of in their lives when things were unpleasant. There

were long days and long nights and long hours. The heartening of Pharaoh's heart

to turn their situation upside down and calls him to feel hopeless, Sir,

that I want to tell somebody this morning, this feeling hopelessnes it is not

a hopeless situation. It is time working in you b to real and the

view of his good pleasure. The Lord had told Abraham that this would happen.

The Lord had told Abraham that his descendants would be a slave for four

hundred years. This parallels to the Father telling the son Jesus that Lucifer would

seduce Adam and Eva in the garden and that they would live and burdened by

the sin help captivity by the sin, that Jesus would come to liberate them.

The Bible sending God is not willing that any supera sir, that also

says that the Lord came to save people from this sin, not in the

sin, not to comfort the eye of tall wadings, but to comfort him

through and by deliverance. I'm telling you God Miess not have to escort you

to alcoholics, anonymous Godess not have to walk you to a hot lound heckling

on. Now, I'm telling you that Cod will he will walk you now

to the altar. If he'll take the first step. If he'll not to

move, God will part the sea in your life and help you reach the

promised lander. Or if I could just bring every bound person to the House

of God and lead them to the promised land, to the altar, a

promise where there's deliverance or there's hope, where there's rescue for those that are

experiencing long hours and long nights. I know what it is from personal experience

to have good health and then find a turn of events concerning my health,

and to find myself finding to maintain good health. I have been through tribals

in my life where all I could do was cry on the name of the

Lord. I'm talking about long hours, long nights, and long days.

Come here, brother Philip. I can't remember what month it was, maybe

the month that you lie of twenty twenty three. When I was getting ready

to leave my house, he pulled me to the side and he said,

Dad, I want to tell you. He said, I've been diagnosed with

one of the most extreme types of cancer, a very rare, aggressive type

of cancer. I may have five years to live if everything goes good,

but I could have only a year depending on how this goes. And brother

Philips stay right here. We had to call on the name of the Lord.

I came to church that night. I did not call in sick,

even though I felt sick. I did not give up the ministry, even

though I had questions of why my baby boy of six children was smitting with

cancer. It did not make me hat God. It made me hate the

testmaster of the devil that brought all this sin and sickness and disease into this

world. I don't know why so many people are blaming God the sweetness and

sin. It's selfishness that is the blame. It's sin. It's satan that

is the blame. I'm telling you. But what we did, we acknowledged

her. In no, we said God, just when everything was going good,

just when you were blessing to church, just when we were experiencing growth,

just whenever we felt like things were timely coming better. Now, all

this what we did was but no, that's her need and it activated us

to motivation. We prayed about it, We cried about it heaven. We

called under the name of the Lord that about his grace. He's received me.

He's cancers, doll, He's not he I said he There ain't no

hot live loney. You can call and we went giving there body tramp on

us came here. Lets don't let us know. Help back for help to

the law. I can call those Jesus anytime. Right in the middle of

some here aggressive treatments, his hair began to grow back because when he cried

out to God and cast out cancer in the name of Jesus. He cried

up to God. God gave him a sign, I will cause your hair

to grow immediately. The next day, me not knowing nothing, I saw

him at the Log Cabin barbecue restaurant. He took his hat off to scratch

his head. You know why he was scratching his head. Brother's hair was

growing just like to hear it. Hairs in my ear from trimming the last

day. He said, be doing that my ear canals said. He just

kept scratching that head fine, and I looked. I put my redglasses on.

I said, boy, what's going on? He said, I got

a story to tell you. He said, there in that move of God,

you told me to go to the back door and cast the devil out,

he said, the cast cancer out. He said, I did it.

He said, God spoke to my heart, put and desire my heart

to pray that my hair would grow. He said, look, it's a

ready growing, brother, Philip. He received a good report again on this

past week. His doctor saw his complexion, His doctor saw his hair.

This guy's a specialist. Now, he's been to Moffet. He has some

of the finest doctors in the land. The one of the most prestigious cancer

doctor boards in the United States and in the world took up his case for

rebuke because they did not know how to treat that type of cancer effectively and

properly. When he went to see his doctor for an evaluation and a check

up, when he walked in the doctorship, you do not appear to be

one of my patients, mister Philip. You do not look like the rest

of my patience. You know what to there? Protest? Oh yes,

everybody got the same hot bares. Call this one for depression, call this

one for despair, call this one for anxiety. Tat this resource, use

this resource, go to this flight there hat this website. But there was

one mitter feeling was called it over. It was then little Lord from every

top night. Look, I'm telling every person putting this fielding this morning,

call you got to do's cry out to ease, I said, I said,

already, go to the look it's cry out. He touches us Lord

safely. Look. After he received that diagnosis, after a couple of weeks,

I felt inspired to preach to him a sermon titled Hope for the Underdogs.

I saw Brother Philip, who was not one to be given to strong

emotion. He is not wanting to display emotion in public. He's very dapper,

very reserved, cool, common collected. And Brother Philip hit the altar

and I saw him cry, and Sister Jennet, I saw him just dirupt.

I saw his shoulders going up and down as he was heaving in the

spirit and crying out to God and groaning like he's being moaning. And I

went to touch him, and God said, he's your son, yes,

but he's my son too. And then Lord said, right now I'm commuting

with him. Don't touch him. I'm telling you, I wanted to get

down there and console him. I wanted to get down there and whisper every

word. I just preached to him that there's hope for the underdog. They

say there's no cure for, there may not be any help for. But

God took up his case. I said, God took up his case.

And when I got home that night, I received a text from brother Philip.

Not wanting to text the whole lot, he said, Dad, you'll

never know how much that message helped me. He said, I just gave

it all the Jesus. I just put it all in his hands, and

I'm no longer worried about it because I know there is hope in Jesus.

There is hope in Jesus. I want to motivate somebody to take action.

Don't come on that. Maybe uppearing in your life when things become unpleasant,

but it might be the will of God. It is God, wlcome you'll

rescue. It is part of the Lord's plan. God had told Abraham,

I'm gonna do it. They're gonna stay for a little while, but after

they've been I'm gonna bring their mouth. I said, after you bet homb

on and you get in the will of God help bring you out. God

knew that they would serve a cruel and ruthless task master. Eventually, it

wasn't always gonna be an experience of Ghosha. As they knew it, it

was going to for the worst. Notice when God's people cried out though,

because of their unpleasant circumstances, he heard them Heaven's hotline. What's the number?

Huh? It's letters. If you know, on the more school telephones,

you didn't only have numbers, you had letters on them numbers. Does

anybody remember that? Any old timers besides myself, Your cell phone may not

have that on there. Does it have letters under the digits? Does anybody

know it does? Okay, I don't wear my red glasses when I'm dolling

on my phone, so I wouldn't know. I'm sure the letters are too

tiny, but I don't know. If you were to dial out the name

Jesus, do that for me, Brother Jeremiah. Dill out the name Jesus.

I don't know exactly what number you would be dialing figuring out for me,

Brother Jeremiah, find the numeral for Jane. The numeral for j would

be five. All right, e free s seven you eight s seven?

Can anybody recite that? Now? What? Five three seven eight seven five

three seven eight seven? Is that right? Everybody say that with me?

Five three seven eight seven. I'm calling on the name of the Lord.

I'm not calling double O seven. I'm not calling on James Bond. I'm

not calling on James the podon. I'm not calling on the Ritus. I'm

not calling on Peter. I'm not calling on Paul. I'm calling all tease.

You don't like the call, Pastor Hollo, you can call a teaser.

I'm telling us somebody left in this being in the look call us next.

You know he's her tool. Crime. Your crime has a lot Ki

Comester, as he laid upon that moment, the Bible does say the man

nature was asleep, but the God man was awake. If you'll look at

our text, the Bible said God heard their groaning. David said in Psalm

thirty four and six, this poor man cried, and the Lord heard him.

Has saved him out of all his troubles. Having this bill to know

who David is, He's the sweet Somers to Israel, the most beloved King

of Israel. They've ever had. Benjamin Natan Yahoo is beloved, they love

him. Solomon was beloved, but David is their favorite king. They still

speak highly of David, and David's calling himself a poor man because situations has

changed, circumstances a change. He is no longer being anointed by Samuel.

At this moment, he is not feeling the power of God. Brother Philip

and his life. David the Sweet Somers the VI Israel is writing about unpleasant

circumstances. In fact, during this period of his life, he is afraid

of King Saul, who was destroyed, trying to destroy him. Because of

jealousy and because of the threat of being destroyed, David fled to the camp

of the Philistines. And then once the Philistines figured out that the Israelite champion

who slew their champion was in their company, David became afraid again. And

he said, this poor man cried, this poor man cried, I'm not

afraid to say God, I'm being truth of myself. I have no longer

life. That is never the will of God. And I feel that in

my soul somebody has been in a precarious situation. You did not expect things

to go the way they went. You're in trouble, and I appreciate you

admitting it, saying I need to go to church. I need to be

in church. I need to notice God care about me. Does somebody know

what I'm going through? The Bible said my father and mother forsake me,

then the Lord stake me up. When my kids don't really know what I'm

going through. Wasn't my children don't know what I'm going through? When my

mom and dad don't know what I'm going through. Hey, the Lord,

it will take up my situation. The Lord will take up my case.

Oh you got to do is cry out to the Lord when you have that

hopelessness hit that situation. Our text says there Israelis cried out to the Lord

because of the bondage. God heard their distinct cries. God not only heard,

God took action and connect to you. That's what's happening being demonstrated before

you this morning, God, dear red preacher A seven for you. The

figure of God is already own the paltry of a situation, and God has

taken accent Immediately God dispatched a deliverer. I'm telling someone that help was no

longer owned the way help was present. God is a present help in the

time of trouble. David and the Israelites at different times had the crowd to

God in their time of need and first Peter chapter number three, verse number

twelve. The Bible step for the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous

and his ears are open unto their prayers. Peter was addressing Christians who were

suffering severe persecution for their faith. Their circumstance had taken a turn for the

worse. They were happy they got saved, they were happy they had found

Jesus. They were happy to be serving the Lord. But they didn't expect

to be suffering in the great measure that they were suffering. So where the

Israelites who were in bondage, And so was David who found himself in the

camp of the Philistines. These are reasons to cry, Brother Jesse. When

you come to the piano, when your baby's built, money is given to

the drug dealer, that's the reason to cry. When you no longer can

have a good night's sleep because you're miserable in bondage, that's a good reason

to cry. The night that I got saved in October nineteen ninety three,

what I had to do was cry. But not cry on the shoulder the

pastor or the deacon, or the first lady, or on the elder,

or on a Sunday school teacher or the evangelist open air preacher. I had

to cry on the shoulders of Jesus. This generation knows absolutely nothing of talking

to Jesus. Sister Wood, stand up, world, you please stand up.

It's been nearly ten years now, probably right since brother Genie has passed.

About ten years, right, yeah, this is the tenth year.

yeah, July the twenty eighth, there'll be ten years. I remember

that morning, about six am. Sister Walker there called me, so pastor,

we need you down here at the store just at the foot of the

bridge. What was it called, Park Avenue, Park Avenue, Fine Gifts,

Park Avenue Avenue Brow to you. I said, why, what's wrong?

She's screaming, she's crying out, I heard using the name Jesus.

I said, Sister Walker, calmed down and tell me what's going on.

She said, it's Jeane, sister Wood's husband. He's dead. Situation turned

quickly for the worst. I tried to get there. She had went to

a dentist appointment forty five minutes away, real early. She had had it

on over there. God had it all worked out. He knew I needed

to be there first. So I got in there, spent about thirty minutes

with him, and then she came in the first thing she did was just

go like this and say these words, Oh Jesus, she cried into the

Lord, and he heard her. She grown as she molled. She said,

Gina, hope you made it. I hope you made it. I

said, he did. Remember the last night of our revival, which in

fact was last night Sister Wood. From about nine fifteen to about ten thirty,

he cried on the altar, and for some reason he just wouldn't get

up. God was preparing him for the crossing. And she said, I

find comfort in that, knowing that he had been up and downs feriercely for

years, but in the last couple of years of his life he had been

solid and steadfast, and he was crying at the time of his death.

He must have somehow inside knew I'm about to go. I remember of him

was he sat outside in a chair, and that's why I'm sitting in a

chair. Get another chair over here. Him and I had fellowship and talked

until about midnight. He loved me, He did everything I needed done.

He sitt there out there on the sidewalk in front of that storefront with me,

and we talked best friends. Talked to about midnight, and finally he

said, Pastor, I need to go, and I said, well,

I'm here as long as you need me. Because I could just tell he

didn't want to leave the altar and he didn't want to leave his castor.

I said, well, I'm here as long as you need me, and

he do like that. He knew something, something on the inside. That's

what I'm telling somebody this building this morning, the way I felt during the

night, I know something. Somebody's suffering. Life ain't what you've painted it

out to be. And he didn't want to leave. I said, but

I'm here as long as you need to be till the sun comes up.

Whatever's trouble on you, whatever's on your mind. I'm here, man,

And I said, Pastor, I need to go. I said, okay,

I said, I love you. I'm sure it didn't help you.

And I remember him walking over to that van he had just fall, and

I remember sitting back now in the Word of God spoke to me. He

said, don't forget that view, and Brother Jesse was so real. It

was just like I saw him in a haze walking to eternity. I have

never forgot watching him walk away from me. It was literally like he was

in a cloud. I could see it. Now, he's in a haze,

sister. When I forceived that to have been was the Chicina glory of

God. Five and a half hours later, he would be dead. I'm

glad he cried unto the Lord. But you know what his widow was crying

in to the Lord at the time of his death. I put my arm

around her. She kissed him in the lips repeatedly. I got down beside

her, put my cheek up to hers and held her. I said,

he's in a better place. He's in a better place. We were just

start revival. The evangelist call and said, this is no time for revival.

I think I'm heading out. I said, if there's ever been a

good time for revival, it's now. We need to comfort this sister.

He said, I doubt it if she comes. We started church in seven

point thirty. The fat door swung open. She walked in, crowding to

the Lord. Ten minutes later, I saw the Holy Ghost enveloped her in

her situation with grace and comfort. I'm glad we chose to go to church

and cry out into God that night instead of dial in numbers to a hot

line to help a widow cope, Let's stand this morning I feel such a

sweet presence in Jesus in disbuilding. It is true in these United States of

American people are suffering for their stand for truth. It is true that every

child of God will suffer from living right. They will be bob ridicule,

scorned. For being able to call in our Savior makes it worth it.

Remember this always, God is watching his people and their persecutors. He is

watching when his people are suffering, because He is the suffering Savior. These

biblical examples are pretty positive to the believers that our Lord is aware of our

problems. I came this morning to tell someone that God hears your cries of

desperation, and I want to encourage you to continue crying out to Him.

If we could bawl our heads this morning, is there somebody in this building

that would say, preacher? I realized that this morning, right before in

my very eyes, Heaven's hotline has been set up for my specific purpose,

especially for use in my emergency, for me to communicate between me and my

God, for me to communicate my needs to my job. Heaven's topline.

If you were that person, and you would be honest, I'm miserable.

I'm in a situation, concerned of my help for my finances, I just

feel out cry. Would you raise your him? There's one, two,

another? Could we all do a something? Could we all just find a

place to pray right now? Would you just cry out to God and tell

Jesus all about it? Oh, I'm so burned. I know what it
