I have good news to bring. I have good news
-
to bring. There's about eighty of you present.
-
At this time.
-
I think we said seventy three attended Sunday School this morning.
-
We thank you for your attendance. We're glad you're here.
-
Oh How the Holy Ghost moved during the worship service,
-
and Sister How Will led them songs. Sister How and
-
I have not talked a bit part of this service
-
concerning the direction of the service or how the Lord
-
spoke to me. She did get up at three am
-
to go get a snack. I called her red handed.
-
I was down beside the bed praying and asking God
-
to speak to me concerning this morning's service. There was
-
no conversation at all about this message or about what
-
God was speaking to my heart. There was a brief
-
conversation concerning what are we having for snack? But apparently
-
my precious bride has heard from the Lord. The second
-
congregational that she led this morning was page number three six,
-
and that Old Church of God writ back himnal that
-
song that's sacred hymn of the Ages titled the Old
-
Gospel Ship. The first verse of that song begins with
-
I have good news to bring. And so the first
-
Lady and I are yoked up this morning, and I
-
watched as you all shouted in the presence of God
-
and praised Him for about fifteen minutes as we sang
-
that song. And I'm glad that you all rejoiced in
-
the good news. I want to tell you this morning
-
that despite what's going on in the world.
-
Today, I have some good news to share with you all.
-
I have brought some good news which you turned with
-
me to First Corinthians, chapter number fifteen, Mad Director, attention.
-
To verses number one through five.
-
Brother Nathaniel numbers chapter number thirteen, verses number thirty one
-
through thirty three, and Brother Jesse romans chapter number one
-
and verse number sixteen. Look at sister whooping back from
-
them to back pew knows he's not backslid. God's just blessing.
-
Our church is filling up. We're gonna have to get
-
some new pews or a new church. I was telling
-
some of the men of the church, that is a
-
good problem. Look at your neighbor and say, hey, that's
-
a good problem, and.
-
That is one that the Bethel hole in his church
-
can solve.
-
How many of you believe that God can help us
-
solve that problem. All right, if you will stand for
-
the reading of our text this morning, we'll have brother
-
Jesse and Brother Nathaniel read afterwards. The Bible says moreover, brethren,
-
I declare it to you the gospel which I preached
-
under you, which also He had proceived, and wherein ye
-
stand by which also you are saved. If you keep
-
in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have
-
believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of
-
all that which I also received.
-
Wasn't did it received? He received some good news.
-
From some apostles, some great men of God named Matthew,
-
Mark and Luke and John.
-
Luke himself was not an apostle.
-
But he was certainly an admirer of the man and
-
the ministry of Jesus Christ. For I delivered under you
-
first of all that which I also received, How that
-
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. He
-
was also referring to the writings of the Holy prophets
-
of old, and that he was buried, and that he
-
rose again the third day according to the scriptures, and
-
that he was seen of Cephus, then of the twelve
-
let's pray heavenly follther with thank you for the.
-
Opportunity unity to be in your house.
-
We thank you God for the privilege together under wreath
-
today in.
-
The presence of people of my precious faith.
-
I pray that you would annot this thy servant, sent
-
a God at my mouth, and help me to say
-
those things that you would have me to say, nothing
-
more and less anot the ears of this thy people,
-
that they might hear what it is the spirit of
-
God says unto the church today. God, I pray that
-
we would receive these sins. Let them go below the shoulders. Lord,
-
don't let them go.
-
In one ear and our God, and don't let them
-
whirl and twirl in that mind and make a quick accent.
-
Let them descend below the shoulders into the spirit and
-
the soul of the beings in this building. I prayed
-
God that we would not be hearers only, but that
-
we would heed, maybe depart this place jointly and not
-
sorrokly in Jesus name. In the church says hey, ma'am,
-
brother Jesse Romans chapter number one and verse number six.
-
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ,
-
for it is the power of God unto salvation to
-
everyone that believeth.
-
To the jew first, and also to the Greek, look at.
-
Your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, I am not ashamed
-
of the Gospel, Praise the Lord. Brother Nathandel numbers chapter thirteen,
-
thirty one through thirty three. But the men that went
-
up with him said, we'd be not able to go
-
up against the people, for they are stronger than we.
-
And they brought up an evil report of the land
-
which they had searched out searched them to the children
-
of Israel, saying, the land through which we have gone
-
to search it is a land that eateth up the
-
inhabitants thereof, and all the people that we saw in
-
it are men of great stature. And there we saw
-
the giants, the son of Abenac, which come of the giants,
-
And we were in our own site as grasshoppers, and
-
so we were in their sight. Now, what brother Nathandel
-
just read to us is an account of ten spies
-
that came.
-
Back with a bad report with bad news.
-
Moses, their pastor had dispatched twelve.
-
Spies scouts to survey the land.
-
Brother Jesse and the majority in number ten came back
-
with bad news and a bad report. Moses fully anticipated
-
nothing to come back but good news.
-
And that's what I anticipate any.
-
Time I come to the House of God. And as
-
a child of God, when I opened this blessed book,
-
I believe it to be good news from my soul.
-
Let's look at our text again moreover, Brethren, I declare
-
unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which
-
also ye have received, and wherein ye stand, which also
-
ye are saved. Our textas founded a new Testament book
-
of the Holy Bible, the Book of First Corinthians. This
-
book of the Bible was written by the Great Apostle Paul.
-
This sacred writing was inspired by the Holy Ghost. Because
-
Paul had received reports of some disharmony and discord developing
-
in a certain local assembly. He understood the situation demanded
-
immediate action. The Great Apostle Paul was the spiritual father
-
to such people as this and brother Samuel Howell. He
-
realized quickly that the word of God rang true when
-
it said that a child left to himself bringeth his
-
mother to shame. Because the Apostle Paul was not present
-
with these people, how many of you know as a
-
saying that goes like this, when the cats away, the
-
eyes will play. Oftentimes, after Moses has been gone for
-
a period of three to four weeks, the parishioners get
-
out of hand and out of control, and everything that
-
should be done decently and in order suddenly finds itself
-
in disarray, and the Great Moses returns in order to
-
set things in order. You will remember that phrase and
-
expression being given by the apostle Paul, I would like
-
to sense of things in order concerned the New Testament
-
Church and its ways. And so when Paul received this
-
report from this certain little party that had flew to
-
where he was and gave him bad news, he knew,
-
I've got to give these people some good news, because
-
discord and disharmony brings this fellowship. How many of you
-
know the Bibles said that he soeth discord among the
-
brethren is someone that God hates. I don't want God
-
despising me. I don't want God to be upset with me.
-
When the Bible we pie that God.
-
Is angry with a wicked every.
-
Day and truly wicked people.
-
So discord among the brethren, and so this spiritual Father over.
-
These babes in Christ.
-
He left them a letter, something for them to lay
-
their hands on, something tangible.
-
For them to read.
-
And Brother Jonathan, we pine that this man offered instructions
-
to them through the Holy Ghost. The Holy Gess began
-
to stir that brain matter that was in there. There's
-
no doubt that that man that was screed at the
-
feet of the Great and a Lill, that brain matter
-
that was in there been stretched as far as it
-
could be stretched by the Great Gamlill. Brother wrote cap Also,
-
the emotions of the Apostle Paul had been pulled in
-
every direction by this tail bearer that had brought.
-
Him this bad report.
-
How many of your sick and tired he receive of
-
bad reports of compromise and evil things that have taken
-
place within Pentecostal and holiness movements.
-
What we need is another.
-
Don rich, a spiritual father to come in to this
-
meeting and to shake things.
-
Up, and the remind us of the time holding.
-
Us, as he would say, I said the Great Apostle Paul,
-
stirring in his emotions, he began to put pen the
-
parchment and to begin to write, as the spirit of cold.
-
Put words in his mind and heart and wrote.
-
Must of result this particular book of the Bible that
-
our text comes from today, this book of the Bible,
-
the Beloved Epistle read by the hand of the Apostle Paul.
-
It's served as a.
-
Model for Christians and careert and it also serves as
-
a model for Christians up today. This book of the
-
Bible ought to be treasured by every.
-
Child of God that loves sound out. In fact, a lot.
-
Of model churches do not read often from this book
-
of the Bible.
-
It's very apparent that they do not.
-
By looking at their lifestyle and listening to the messages
-
that their leaders are preaching, it's obvious that this book
-
is overlooked. You see, this book served as a model
-
for how the church was to handle the sin problem.
-
Yes, within the church, it's served as a.
-
Model of how people are to live, how they are
-
to worship.
-
How they are to bind the spirit.
-
How they are to please God rather than men.
-
You see the sin problem trying to poke its ugly
-
head in the local church. It was established the Apostle
-
Paul to a Christian, now you will be like the Christian.
-
Then the poor toothera grant a true.
-
Believer, he would welcome such.
-
A writing as yes, he would read this particular book
-
of the Bible, until you understand that it is not
-
okay the sin. It is not okay to be a mother.
-
It is not any true believers.
-
To and a to be that way just forget about.
-
Is served as a moral compasser, and it served as
-
a funner for the foundation that the bishops would be
-
your own. And the Apostle Paul told every preacher and
-
every parent, You said, every bishop, they would come by him.
-
You becaureful how you beat upon the foundation that was laid.
-
What must the rouma to the foundations that were lady
-
there to barious locations during the missionary tips of the
-
Great Apostle Parliament. It was the teachings of sale of gotten,
-
that Jesus had come to see the sinner from their sin,
-
that Jesus fine, and that he was buried, and that
-
he resurrected, and that in that atonement as the substitutionary
-
sacriposs for mankind, in that atoning, that the the resaliation
-
s from a depn humanity. And there was healing, compoies
-
and people suffering there who live humanity. There you see
-
des file is that that we are to probably in
-
order to make it to Heaven. His way is the
-
later of our foot. That what's the path of his Lord.
-
Then I let you know the reason why the society
-
is not it is today second society's in the shape
-
that it's the day because they are shot the Bible.
-
I let you to know the local asymy members of
-
this congregation, the sep being conducted by the teaching the
-
people that we're causing the air in the later in
-
a possipolling down the clu He made down the foundation
-
for these believers, doesn't alone to her throughout the years,
-
decades after decades, after.
-
That they become suits.
-
I'll killing somebody.
-
Man in this foot read today what God said was
-
to be back there in the pens of the apostle.
-
Polly, can it be so much today?
-
This generation has stopped, been so muted. That remind them
-
the spirited.
-
And sharp the book and let the lab the customers.
-
OK news.
-
In the Polie episodes, Kid News, every one of CON's client,
-
it's carnis final, It's turtle recruit, this's Tip dotting.
-
There's till the real.
-
Purpose all there, there's still the building nominations all that
-
stopt for me. I said that be happy Very's report
-
for you.
-
Gold.
-
Its group of believers were selling in her heart that
-
we must obey the scripture, and then we must focus
-
on the fact that Jesus Christ and his sacrificial blood
-
and his sacrifice was enough that there's nothing we can
-
do at the Peyton Temple that we're atolled for our
-
sins that bring eternal life to us. There are some
-
people that are members of this Church of Antiquity, that
-
were members of the early Church, that are just see
-
they set of bitches wotten of nature, not patterpetes, and
-
they set hold them rigid bitches.
-
Cover with blood on their hands. Not bloods of.
-
Other people of other nations Betther Fillip, but the bloods
-
of their very old cheering that dead sacrifice in pagan temples.
-
Unto dead God. So irol that couldnot see.
-
That is not here.
-
You see what great riding saa. The man's desperately religious.
-
I think it was still raven here this ship down. Man,
-
it's desperately religious, delicious.
-
I don't know exactly. He said.
-
It's somebody's senator, and they were right. There are many
-
churches today they will pave out.
-
They're all the way.
-
They will choose racer the see right he to a man,
-
whatever happened, You're choosing away.
-
Let as fighting on the card. Can I say, who
-
you choose.
-
A right in your own way?
-
You have loved God.
-
I tell a somebody in this feeling just falling, you
-
can chooser. You are running work to it, lest instructure
-
the pu us riding saying the sayings right, let us
-
snapping stopping.
-
I got ten news to bring.
-
I want to tell you, how about something glory? I say,
-
if you walk in the holiday of holdingness, turned not
-
to the left, turn not to the right.
-
You are Finn who is for your soul?
-
I put all of those in this place. How many
-
people in this building perceives that this writing is good news?
-
I would say that ever obedient Christian that was doing
-
what Paul had said to do, and ever obedient Christian
-
that was listening to the elders of the church that
-
had been established, I believe every honest hearted person.
-
Was glad when this good news came.
-
When somebody said, there is a parchment here, and underneath
-
this parchment is the name.
-
The apostle Paul. There was some was a little bit
-
nervous when it started being a rod. While there was others.
-
They were sitting there on the ends of the speeches
-
might not to be. They said, go ahead and tell
-
us what we are going to be. So do a
-
head set in order things that shooting say in order,
-
go ahead tell us their every way said.
-
Don't have stuff.
-
And I told said, God, preach to me, preacher. I
-
want you to know, for every person that sees out
-
the words of God, for every person that penetrates that
-
you don't be a knight.
-
But there's somebody reading.
-
That, the Kim Report. There's somebody watching the whole level.
-
They're saying that this here's their things, bad repression. The
-
things they're preaching out, the righteousness are true to the badns.
-
There's a church and were saying, this is theres.
-
Of her.
-
Charismatics say before and some of them innocently say it
-
for all others mischievously pronounce it. They say, Ah, there
-
is more to preach than holiness. I sell them preach
-
a wholeness, closed life message. I don't know that I
-
preach but one or two in the last two years.
-
And there's some people crept right now, thinking and that's
-
one or two too many.
-
Oh no, it ain't.
-
But every time I preach, it's that I've been up
-
during the night praying, and it's that that my notes
-
are soiled with tears. I'm telling your brother, just and
-
there's been times I could hardly read the notes that
-
I really refer to, just a little bit from them
-
being smudged by warm tears. How I'm telling you right now,
-
you're not getting this. Somebody's not hearing this. It is
-
for your good It somebody pulls you to the side
-
and says.
-
Your help bent and your help math.
-
It is good news.
-
Somebody takes the time to put their car not in
-
beetsu they're afraid we'll go another inch, They swim it
-
in park and they get on.
-
Their work to you.
-
They say, you don't know, blind follower.
-
I'm not saying everybody's willing to blind, and I'm not
-
saying everybody is the deep mister witched blind leader. But
-
when somebody comes with their dreams and you're away from
-
both arms and they're they say.
-
Their frehension, he's out. I'm telling you that's deep musa
-
to the one of the person.
-
Work tonight, not you.
-
Blad music with the headline he's.
-
Preying upon the morning to the child. What am I
-
watching about?
-
Kill that person? Everything says s t usstime were to
-
say that's the best user, Doubles put it in a
-
honey saying you're coughing us with it. I'm telling you,
-
telling us pree true, here's their days.
-
I have good news to bring. That kind of preaching
-
I hurt people. No, there'll help paper. It's done in
-
the right spirit.
-
Hey, they'll help people. It tells great to be back
-
in the saddle again. I loved the smell of new leather.
-
I smelled some of that in the.
-
Streets of Saint Augustine.
-
I walked by some of them leather shops with them,
-
the leathern belts, leather purses, leather saddles. I've always loved
-
the smell of leather in that Powery museum since the
-
wood and they had little treasure boxes and you slit
-
open the little.
-
Access door and you stuck your sniffer in there, and
-
you sniffed the scent, and you had to say, what
-
was it that was in there that smelled? What was
-
it meant in that smell? I stuck my sniffer in
-
there and I said, I know what that is. I
-
stuck it in the other box. And I said, I
-
know what that is. I stuck it other I said
-
I don't know what that is. And then I got
-
to thank you. Boy. You better be careful. What's your spiller?
-
Come on there?
-
I can tell with something the spill clock right.
-
And I can tell when I hear a preacher preacher
-
and a teacher teacher, and somebody tells herself could be
-
a Christian who does a sail drop right when it
-
does a smell to a meat a flaw, they're safer.
-
I tell somebody today, I love the spill.
-
I never I love him.
-
With a young preacher sallows up like b A Pilippa.
-
It is mood solad.
-
How Very, when the preachers a time bear a stranger,
-
we are not to lucky.
-
Here here her.
-
Preacher preacher that's about pretty years old. I love the
-
spill of old anather.
-
I love the tail and chuck that I spilled when.
-
They're tailing the hide is to come out. I love
-
the sweat over that horse that has been ridden after
-
that of his stain. It's such a.
-
Ruin of the sidnce.
-
I'll be cared for about two routes. When I set
-
up his stoon her. Then I want you to know,
-
I w one of you is the not lead. He's
-
better silent because I tell you Letty saying, Lenny, I've
-
got your moons, me your play.
-
The brother say caught it, Lady Chance.
-
I said this coming, lady. Then I'll tell a suck
-
out of lady.
-
You alcome the choice the death news. Forget about their relativity.
-
Yeah, that's what you can pick apart the preaching of
-
the apostle Paul. That's there sometime fault with it.
-
In fact, I'm stole him as a cont prince of
-
his passion, that preacher.
-
I have good news to bring. I know something. See
-
this is good news. Well, it's proceeding to be bad
-
news since the week. It's good news.
-
Nevertheless, these four Gospels, written by three apostles and one doctor,
-
the followed apostles, I'm telling you they represent good news.
-
This entire book represents good news.
-
The Holy ghosts will continue to promote purity, sound doctrine,
-
and a faith that itables to believe it a hope
-
pass to the hope of life after death in heaven.
-
It's certainly good news.
-
To any child of God. Whenever the report comes.
-
Here, Pastor's come for vacation, and Pastor's gonna be in
-
that old won't shaddle and he's gonna ride luck our pastor.
-
Can I want you to know to you this seems
-
to be good news because somebody messaged me yesterday and said,
-
boy heed.
-
Up messaging me last night. I said, I'm.
-
Ready to hear my pastor free child me when I
-
went off every time at some point, sister Roe gap
-
and she still says it.
-
She would say, Pastor, I'm ready for you to get
-
a hold of the preacher.
-
Because I warn the need my.
-
Pastor to preach. Come on, that's their slide another rod Gappa.
-
She knew I'm her pastor.
-
He's her lover, he's her provider, he's her protector, and
-
I'm her pastor. And I want you to know not
-
everybody despises her strong leadership. That's timing, strong leadership.
-
Your love.
-
He's not a bad thing.
-
The love the.
-
Super that couldnot write to be their hands hold a
-
letther scroll if the apostle power, that's it and lets
-
you to know I can write to give the saddle
-
to here you resting going the smells in that boxer,
-
in that.
-
Power Winter Museum or something that they had stolen.
-
Say to speaker his letter, good let her George. I
-
let you know.
-
Sometimes your parent discipline.
-
Giver, your pastor discipline is a passion he doesn't see.
-
So I let you know.
-
Let this mets were being a party to us. A
-
spacer that was two means. Every time that has Chopper's
-
received the 're not dot thest hundreds, the shots and
-
receiver and his bacca.
-
There wasn't a tube that's a treating him.
-
He don't love more than that.
-
Every time Jesus got lick, it was love being manifested.
-
I just felt something just now. It was love.
-
When they was ripping his back to the point it
-
is inside, started infesting being revealed to the world, Brother Jesse,
-
when his small intestines started bubbling out, when his lungs
-
started to split and started ripping the kidneys.
-
I'm telling you there's no pain.
-
About kiddy pain. I've had kidney stones. I've been punched
-
and kicked in the kidneys and they ripping them, ripping them.
-
And that's what Apostle Paul said. It's that bad news.
-
The good news is he was crucified, and he was buried.
-
A lot of preachers fell to put an emphasis on
-
that burial. One of the most important parts of the
-
experience of Christ and the passion of Christ is the burial.
-
Study you'll find out why the burial. Old things have
-
passed away, but hold all things have become new. It's
-
the entire message of the afossil Paul.
-
When he said in him are new creatures. It said him,
-
we live and move and have our been The burial
-
was very significant an apostle Paul's telling these Corinthians brothers
-
Caleb in this fifteenth chapter. He said, I declare to
-
you the Gospel which I preach, and I'm telling you
-
you received it and you're standing for it. And it's
-
simply this Jesus paid to send. That it's finished work
-
because of Jesus. And you ought to rejoice that your
-
names were written in the Lamb's book of Life. Listen, Church,
-
when I read the Gospel, I am rejoicing in my
-
spirit the whole time I'm reading it. When we read
-
the word gospel in the New Testament, we're literally reading
-
the word translated good news. And as I continued reading
-
down this fifteenth chapter. I saw why it's good news,
-
brother Nathaniel, because he died for our sins. He was buried,
-
he rose again on the third day, and he's alive
-
and he's still saving some of these He's healing bodies,
-
he's calming the spirits of the tormented.
-
He's coming back for his pride. I still believe in
-
good news, and I still believe.
-
The word of God.
-
There's good news. I have good news to read. I'm
-
telling you God orchestrated their service this morning. Somebody has
-
been dwelling all the negativity. You need to forget about
-
those that have turned back. You need to forget about
-
those that are backslife.
-
Yes, take their names, come your care cause it.
-
Yes, shep tears for them, pray for them. But you
-
should not be living a miserable life, tormenting yourself.
-
And I said a little while ago, and let back.
-
Him know hast number three.
-
Or six week time a song.
-
Titled the Old Gospel shipherd sister, how would not know
-
when I'm gonna prince this morning?
-
Let that very song.
-
I have this similar nurture, the first first coast life
-
of this sir.
-
I have good news to bring, and this is.
-
What I'm sharing with these people today.
-
God calleg your alp.
-
That's greats. God called your outpa the most Kindred. That's
-
good news. Come on to your move I understand it.
-
But there was a reason my own Ahim, the famous
-
Chuck I came around on the town. He's a hope
-
to the promised lad Hon't come on now, that's Keith Nuns.
-
I hurt from Vater then't love my life.
-
People try to act like a bad news all that's
-
terrible news. I didn't want to hear that you got
-
called to preach, brother Jeremy Howell. I didn't want to
-
hear that you're going to have to move to the bell,
-
Brother Jeremy Howell. I didn't want to hear that you
-
refused to pastor that bigger church. And if you're gonna
-
stay focused.
-
On my good work, I don't know, Brother Jerremy.
-
I have their news to bring. I'll be a commission by.
-
God to move what out know.
-
It's good news, it's good news. I heard from a
-
man this week who owned several houses own Fort Myers
-
Beach and Sister Wood, and he told me that the
-
one that he lives in and several others in that
-
area suffered from the storage serve, the storm serge of
-
this past storm.
-
Helen and I thought for sure that we.
-
Had escaped such a thing, but they said, I'm standing
-
right now in my garage and in the.
-
Lower part of my house in three and a half
-
feet of water. He said, I hate to be the
-
mayor of bad news for most people in this.
-
Area thing that we escaped the horror of the storm.
-
But for those of us that live on Fort Myers Beach,
-
we know that it's not twelve and a half feet
-
of water like it was when Ian came three. But
-
it's still disheartening to see three and a half feet
-
of water in our house.
-
And he showed me how he was moving water out
-
of his house.
-
Now I felt sadden by his report his bad news,
-
said my spirit. But because I'm living inland over here
-
in LaBelle, I could not relate.
-
And I want you to know sometimes if we burned.
-
Ourselves with the trauma of problematic people, and now I
-
won't try to know that Abraham did not have a
-
messenger riding in the saddle horseback going back and forth
-
from where he was at Untilling, the owner of the counties,
-
and back again and back there and back again with
-
a message because her his message would have been good.
-
News, but the one that was returning would have been
-
bad news. I can't believe you abandon this, Abraham. I
-
can't believe you for sick.
-
Your own turning.
-
Abraham, I can't believe you're getting now he's crazy poring
-
the Lord are your God.
-
You can't even give me a clear answer as to what.
-
God's playing as Listen.
-
When God speaks up, he says, God, I didn't lose
-
enough los enough for me. Should I keep preaching or
-
should we go to the house I'm feeling in my
-
soul to continue preaching. You see, Brother Tom, this man
-
was discouraged because of that three and a half feet
-
of water in his house and in his other houses.
-
And another man that lives not too far from this gentleman,
-
He says, if that happens one more time, I'm leaving
-
and I'll never live on the beach again.
-
You know what, from what I read about mister.
-
Milton's coming from Mexico, been lying it straight towards us
-
in Tampa Bay. You, brother Eugene Dixon mix message me yesterday.
-
He said, how y'all doing with a storm. I said,
-
it's getting a little bit windy. He said, is that
-
bad boy headed your way? I said it is, He said,
-
I from what I'm seeing on the spaghetti models on
-
the right hand side, you'll be when it hits.
-
He said, which is the worst. And that's right, brother broke.
-
That man that told his neighbor one more hit and
-
one more flood situation of that title of surge coming in,
-
he said, I'm out of here.
-
Well, he might as well start packing his bags. I've
-
got bad news for him.
-
There's one coming if God doesn't intervene, and there's going
-
to be another title of surge right there in his backyard,
-
so to speak, inside of his house, being career, who'll
-
be catching mullets nook in his house?
-
Huh so bad news right now.
-
Literally on the horizon, you watch the sunset, you'll look
-
right in the face of a storm named Milton. I'm
-
telling you, if you go outside of this church here
-
in just about thirty minutes and you turn yourself on on,
-
everything that comes.
-
Up to your face will be bad news.
-
Jesus had told his disciples things like this would happen.
-
Jesus shared bad news with his disciples at times, including
-
the time of his own death. Of this pendon, we believe,
-
Brother Nathaniel, that when Paul spoke of the sin nature
-
and the sin of the church is some would have
-
perceived it to have been bad news. But I believe
-
some of these wild natural events are occurring because of sin.
-
How many of your believes that mankind's central nature has
-
caused creation it self to grow, and humanity's offspring is
-
beginning to mold, and scenes that these natural disasters are
-
intensified and strength, they're increasing in number, and they're affecting
-
the world in unprecedented numbers.
-
How many agree on this.
-
I can go outside or even go on my office and.
-
Open my cell pone and hear bad news.
-
In fact, if I'm wanted to hear bad news, I could.
-
Hear twenty four hours a day if fact is.
-
Hired to hear such a thing.
-
I can hear hypocrites, preacher. I can hear larst preacher.
-
I can hear news anchors talking about.
-
Terrible things that are.
-
Going on in the world.
-
I can hear preachers talking about the great falling away
-
that began in the days of Apostle Paul. That's why
-
I got away for some people that were negative mellies.
-
They were always preaching.
-
We were barely make for Well, that's the congregation sizes
-
tend to nothing because you can't believe there.
-
Was nothing enough to you know, for them. Oh yes, sir,
-
don't God.
-
Do news for you?
-
You old people just coming back for a blowing less church.
-
It's just a part back that pas for one. Yeah,
-
I got sick of hearing the old Church of God
-
preachers that were preaching what they read in books, talk about.
-
Wherever you see the eagles gather together there will you know?
-
Then they started doing surveys on buzzard populations. How many
-
carcasses buzzards were heat? Where's the battle while I'm again
-
gonna be? I heard that stuff from the eighties and
-
the nineties, and I began to lose confidence in them.
-
When they promoted the Book of.
-
Eighty eight Reasons why Jesus Will Come Back in eighty eight,
-
I started waking up.
-
Even though I was a young man, I mean a
-
child if.
-
You would, a Samuel hear from God in his bedroom
-
and realizing these are just hypocrite preachers that didn't want
-
to pray and didn't want to study. That had got
-
the latest book out of the Pathway Press, which is
-
the Church of God's press agency, and they just start
-
preaching us. I'm overseer heard about and brother Nathaniel. When
-
they talk about it being such a straight way, nobody.
-
Can make it.
-
They talk about the Rochester scarcely inter them nobody can
-
make it, while the freeholdliness and their homemade dresses, while
-
the men walk around and their five hundred dollars suits
-
and drive the two hundred.
-
Thousand dollars callers of.
-
Living their five million dollar houses.
-
And I can see the hypocrisy in that they demand
-
their roth be a home on meet.
-
A servant hearted women, while they their selfers are hated,
-
are so high minded and so hearty that if they're
-
held there knows something to play the hurricane.
-
They trown you or they'll take a title.
-
So I'm said a hypocrisy.
-
I read them, hippo Church of God preachers have less
-
to you to know. You should have got your mais
-
out of a bunch of your old sins. It got
-
your nose. W a ll a come he got some
-
of us sat ways. I have their needs to bring.
-
We can live, save the pie loss, We can live
-
stenious lots.
-
We can be happy and changus, we can be happy
-
in the sinner of God's will.
-
You know why some of them are so unhappy because
-
they're living in what they fabricated to be the permissive
-
will of God. Again I quote the permissive will of
-
God according to scripture. If you not smeck that dead sinner,
-
I know I read that book too, that I had
-
enough sister Trail and found thirteen a few kids, even
-
though the foul thirteen years they stuck. Ledge care if
-
you thought that little he will love being a speaker
-
of the permissive will of Tone At times. If you're
-
not smart cat center Bush in the time of course,
-
your sights are set towards heaven, and you're one ain't
-
going off one degree off you're of course, they read.
-
Too many books.
-
While silly sheep looked upon them as highly educated men.
-
They were highly educated men, were great memories, and they
-
if we would repopulated lies, ungodly overseers populated it, they
-
repopulated it. Ungodly overseers surged it. They resurged it twice.
-
Baked stank potatoes, huh, not like that stank trailer. One
-
of my former members lived in did take care of it.
-
These men ain't taking care of business.
-
Church. They ain't taking care of churches, Brother.
-
Tyler, if I wanted to, I could suffer mentally, I
-
could be anxious, and I could be depressed, unless in
-
a week's time, if somebody's listened to me right now,
-
I've seen family members and friends suffer mentally, and I've
-
seen their families suffer, their children suffer in many different
-
ways as a result, because that one person chose to focus.
-
On the bad reports given by those who wanted to
-
the number of listeners to tip in their favor.
-
There's some news agencies only report bad news because they
-
know that gets them higher ratings. Now I need to
-
expound upon that. And then when you get somebody that's
-
of a simple mindset in nature and they play the
-
news twenty four hours a day, their nerves are at
-
My grandmother just passed away.
-
One of them.
-
The other one's message they quite a good lately. She's
-
still pretty good health. But the one that passed away recently,
-
she could not even go to church, so she said,
-
for the last twenty something years that I know of,
-
because her stomach was so upset. She couldn't sit in
-
a few for more than thirty minutes without visiting the
-
ladies were and then the reckon of the situation, the
-
aftermath apparently would be so embarrassing that she didn't want
-
anybody to know of her condition.
-
And so she lost that with God. And I'll tell
-
you why she got into that state.
-
Because that television was on twenty four hours a day.
-
I don't know that it was ever turned off, and
-
it was turned on the news. Did you hear hurricanes
-
about to hit France?
-
Just as an example?
-
Did you hear a hurricane was about to hit Fort Myers?
-
Did you hear a lizard was about to hit state
-
of Michigan? Did you here there's a blight in the
-
crops out west? Did you hear the locusts her devouring
-
a Brazilian crops? Did you hear bad news? She became
-
a negative nelly. And my precious aunt that messaged me
-
this morning while I was in that office, asked me something.
-
She lived just up the road here and mewse heard
-
me and my grandmother's caretaker.
-
It caused her to have her nerves wrecked.
-
Yeah, And my precious dear cousin messages me while me
-
brother Jess's brother Nathaniel, were fishing on a bridge.
-
We caught a golf toadfish. On Atlantic.
-
We caught some red snapper. Some grunts was gonna try
-
to catch something and be what red drums? Couldn't catch
-
any finger m lips and we had changed the plant.
-
But my cousin and I hadn't heard from in a while.
-
She said, you know, I'm somewhat sensitive to my mother
-
because of the things she's been through. We don't realize
-
all that negativity affects our children, all that bad news
-
affects our children. While the reporters of the bad news
-
receive an award for their journalism, while that young journalist
-
he is inflated and fried because of his achievements of
-
couldn't fear in the hearts of those that were watching listen.
-
They were single handed them and gladly driving people and
-
their families batty. The fear of frenzy has already started
-
in LaBelle, Florida started yesterday.
-
Milton's coming. Milton's coming. He's coming if God doesn't intervene,
-
and he's gonna punch the.
-
Daylights out of the West Coast and possibly our coast.
-
But sister woman that doesn't do me a bit of
-
good to preach about faith if I myself am succumbing
-
to fear. Now I know there's a healthy fear, because
-
the healthy fear will keep you from jumping over brother
-
Philip's fence where he's got them three American bullies he's up.
-
But to arth, I myself will not go around there,
-
will Philip.
-
That way, Philip will lay down, let them jump on him,
-
knowing goodwell, they just called each other by the throat
-
about towing the life out of each other, and Philip
-
will expose his throat to say I love you, guys,
-
and all. It's gonna take one of them to grab
-
Philip by the throat, and the thing are not being
-
there to get it on, and we'll find Philip out
-
New York. But what I'm saying is brother Philip is
-
fearless concerning them pit bulls and American bullies, and we,
-
as four idiots, were fearless of those hurricanes. I heard
-
the how old boys yesterday talking about it. It's just
-
like another storm. And that's what I want the children
-
of God to realize. There's compromise on every man three
-
hundred and sixty degrees as a great following away. There's
-
just people backslide right and left, and it's so disheartening,
-
discouraging and disappointing. So you're wasting time surfing on your
-
secret Facebook account and get broken hearted over the backslide.
-
I want you, I want to tell you something. Somebody
-
sent me some.
-
Stuff about a year ago of people that I used
-
to fellowship to, and I felt a sink and feeling.
-
I got literally physically sick, not fearful that it would
-
get me, but so broken hearted.
-
I almost lost my supper.
-
And I told Sister how I said, I really don't
-
want to see pictures of people that used to live
-
right compromising ever again, I don't need the bad news.
-
I don't need the negativity.
-
I need to walk in the doors with the Bethel
-
Holness Church, and I need to see about any holiness
-
people that love God, that are worshiping Him in spirit
-
and in truth. I'm either halfway through this message. I
-
don't know whether to preach or not any longer. Brother Beaufort,
-
I found that the best way to navigate through the
-
flood tides of the world and their are evil reports
-
is the board the old Gospel ship.
-
You see on the old Gospel ship. We can listen
-
to the good reports.
-
Brother in the thing that we can hear testimony after
-
testimony of wonderful things that the Lord has done.
-
While one church is saying we're losing our youth.
-
Group, we can humble them, meet to follow on our
-
knees and say God, I thank you, we haven't lost ours,
-
says the How and I talked briefly last night before
-
and I'll close. I had so much more to treat
-
about the the Twelve Spies. I was hinted that way
-
I might follow up tonight. But before bed, we were
-
talking about some things that were very troubling that we
-
had heard, not about us. We can take, you know, backbyers.
-
I've learned to thump among thor parasites. We can take
-
gossip godwins. I've learned to wet my pinky finger and
-
pop com and squash them. We can take the room
-
around us. I've learned to pinch a little nicks between.
-
But we were talking about things that are really troubling.
-
You learn about how the devil's after young people, and
-
how the devil got after our.
-
Children, our children, and how their feet had.
-
Almost slipped, and how they had almost backslipped, how they
-
had almost compromised it, some of them had almost went worldly,
-
and how close we came to the house family being
-
destroyed and in the last decade. But then we got
-
to talk about the great service the sister wouldn't have.
-
We had the move of God, the power of God moving.
-
And Sister Howse said what I was thinking. She said,
-
I will go to church tomorrow and I will fall
-
on my knees and I will thank God for his
-
mercy to.
-
The Howald family. Yeah, and I said, you're thinking exactly
-
what I'm thinking.
-
Ham.
-
I can't wait to get to church and fall on
-
my knees and say thank you God.
-
And for those of you that raised your children in
-
churches because you didn't have what God was gonna bless
-
you would later and you lost your children. I want
-
you to know you hang tight because God has showed
-
me numerous times at my prayer calls that we're coming back,
-
and when they come back, there will be bread enough
-
to spare in the Father's house.
-
And when they come back, they won't.
-
Have to experience a sink and feeling. Like my good
-
friend said when he got saved after twenty years of being.
-
In the world.
-
He came back to that church of God over there
-
in Alba, and he said when he came back, he
-
went looking for what he left, and said when he
-
walked in, he said, oh my god, it's changed as
-
a bad report from up in his face, and it
-
scared him even worse, Sister Wood, than all the old
-
time saints had died out was gone, and that people
-
that wants live right had compromise. I want y'all to
-
focus on this. Pastor Moses sent twelve people out. Would
-
you come to pian a, brother, just to survey the
-
land that belonged to them, the land that had been promised,
-
Brother Philip. I believe Moses made the right choice. Would
-
y'all say he chose the right man, Brother Philip, He
-
would have known who depicts, so out of the tribes,
-
he picked twelve, one reputable.
-
Man that had to be a man of good report,
-
Brother Beaufort.
-
He fulled in expected these men to come back with
-
could report some good news. So after they had been
-
in the promised land themselves, Brother Jonathan, for forty days,
-
how bad can it be when you're a scout, when
-
you're a stranger and you're a spine. You're walking around
-
surveying the land, and everybody about the forty days has
-
figured out you're up to something.
-
How threatening and how harmful.
-
Can it really be when you're comfortable to be walking
-
around in a place for forty days? I know you've
-
never heard that of God helping with me about that
-
daring the night? I mean, brother hysteric. When I've heard
-
of the Navy seal scouting out surveying, they suld dethily,
-
go in and they get out. When I hear of
-
American spies trying to penetrate foreign governments and foreign government agencies,
-
I hear of them sneaking in, brother beautier, sneaking out.
-
But these men were able to go around for forty days,
-
and you know what they saw, Just as God had
-
told Moses, there's gonna be good food there. How many
-
of you like good food? It's yours, it's your homeland,
-
it's yours to possess, it's.
-
Yours to have.
-
And so these twelve men, they're walking around, they're popping grapes,
-
they're busting between their jaws. The best grape juice they've
-
ever tasted's.
-
Running down in their mouth, it's coming out.
-
In the side of the.
-
That brother rodecap. One of them says, there's the children
-
of Annat. There's some giants in this place, but I
-
don't find where they got out of town to meet it.
-
But after forty days they come back to where Moses
-
is at and pastor Moses with that wooly white hair.
-
After Abraham left early counties with a promise, I'm gonna
-
do something great for your people.
-
I'm gonna bless you, and you're gonna prosper in the
-
land that I'll show you.
-
After the children of Israel served in Egypt for four
-
hundred and thirty years bonds and affliction and tormented and abused,
-
brother Roadcap, they finally.
-
Are freed, and they're wondering their wilderness, and.
-
They're standing at the threshold of the Promised Land. And
-
twelve men they trusted elders, one of each tribe is
-
went in there and had a.
-
Forty day retreat. And when they come back, ten.
-
Of them, entertainers and drama kings and queens, if you would,
-
drama kings come back to Moses and immediately begin their
-
dramatic act of bad news. And they say, hey, the
-
children of the giants are in there, and they start crying,
-
and their lips start trembling, and their hands starts shaking them,
-
hands that are staying purple by the grapes of came.
-
Moses had instructed him and told him what to look for.
-
When you go, you look and see.
-
Is it true what God told Abraham?
-
Is it really true?
-
You go there, you prove back that good news. You
-
go there and prove back that could report isn't true.
-
And ten of them, Brother Samuel, they take.
-
Over bad report after bad report after bad report. The
-
Bible said, the children of Israel went to weep and
-
into whaling. Yeah, they weep, and they will in their services. Right.
-
Yeah, there's a lot of trouble. There's a lot of pandemonium.
-
There's a lot of emotion.
-
They wept and they well, the Bible said, until they
-
begin to say, hey, we should have died in the wilderness,
-
or we should have.
-
Been carried back.
-
Why in the world will be carried into traumised land
-
to lose our lives. They're gonna take our women and
-
hurt them. They're gonna kill our children. And brother Philip,
-
all the elders of Israel begin to cry. They fell
-
in before their women. Sincerely wept.
-
We can't go in there.
-
We can't make it all because somebody listened to that negativity.
-
We can't possess it, we can't do it. And finally
-
there's the Bob mentality, and people are saying absurd things,
-
Brother Samuel, they just got crazy. Now, the Bob mentality,
-
Brother rogue cap It don't stop there.
-
They start attacking Moses.
-
You brought us here, you've done this, you calls this
-
instead of the ten people with bad news. Now it's
-
the entire congregation, how many a medion in number. But
-
Brother Beauffort, it doesn't stop there. They go on to
-
blame God all because of somebody's bad news. When I
-
hear the bad news in this world, I hear the
-
bad news of this and that that's going on in
-
so called holding us of Pentecostal churches. I had to
-
put my nose into good news. I've never put mine
-
in Facebook. I've tried to keep mine.
-
In his book. Just ten bad reports I've served.
-
My This was thinking, this is backfire, this isn't what
-
I expected. I had confidence in you. I chose you
-
to come back with good news.
-
My brother Tyler.
-
The Bible said, Moses and Aaron fell on their face,
-
and they wept and they cried because they knew what
-
God was about to do to them. People for them
-
burn to complain. And when he brought them right to
-
the promise. And some of you, you've been brought right
-
to the promise. You don't realize how bad you offend
-
God when you one time questioned, is this where I
-
was supposed to be? Well, I lost this and I
-
lost that. Yeah, you lost stripes on your back. In Egypt,
-
at a point they started talking about the good food
-
in Egypt.
-
Do you really think slaves was eating like good food
-
in Egypt? But there was good food just on the
-
other side.
-
I ain't some good food in Saint augustined some really
-
good food and say, in August think good food just
-
across that line.
-
There's good preaching, there's good living. Then the Promised Land.
-
There's good news.
-
Every morning when you wake up the headlines, he's gonna
-
be full of good news, great statements, faith building statements.
-
You're not fear building statements.
-
And so imagine the great Moses and the Great Aaron realizing,
-
after forty years, let's about our heads here this morning,
-
Might I say the ten who brought the bad report
-
died into wilderness. Well, the two who brought the good
-
news survived to see the promised land, and they also
-
saw their offspring occupy the promised land. If you were there,
-
you were right after promise. You were at the threshold.
-
But now was a punishment.
-
You've got to wonder in the willness, is there.
-
Somebody here that wanted it would raise their hand and say, Preacher,
-
I've been focusing too much on the negative. I don't
-
believe it's the newer families that have moved down. I
-
don't believe it's anybody that said I'm focused on the negative.
-
But is there somebody that say, pastor, i've been focused
-
too much on my losses.
-
And not again. Would you raise your hand? It might
-
be a young person. There's one, and there's two, there's three,
-
there's four.
-
I want to tell the four of you you're well
-
able to go out and and possess it. It's yours,
-
be strong in the Lord, and that the power was
-
my Let's just all find a place to pray.
-
I want you to think a good things, things that
-
are lovely, things that are little good report.
-
Think all these things.
-
And clothes that I'd like to remind you of this
-
fact that God has more than a wilderness experience.
-
For his people.
-
He has a land of friends, but.
-
Huge judge lives there whereas grasshoppers in their side.
-
The truth is, say the truth is, I have good
-
news to bring the truth God. The truth is.
-
God.
-
The fact is you're called a battle and you feel
-
like you're using the.
-
Oh.
-
In fact, as raise all for so long you stiff to.
-
Re so.
-
Over. That's the story.
-
For the truth had knowledge.
-
Behind the fax hide bound.
-
It's a.
-
Well tru say you bime all the truth, it's all.
-
The sake.
-
