-
That's small and the start of coming around.
-
Our grand fauns, and I appreciate what God's doing doing
-
and the our old wives, uh.
-
Teaches and me and these brothers.
-
I've got to blessing them, and they've got blessing Bethel
-
and Uh. It's it's all about God, all about Jesus.
-
A man that'll follow God, God will bless That's when
-
the folks go to try to.
-
Get out on their own, get out, get doing things
-
on their own. Uh, that's when they go to get
-
into trouble. It's well, got things go to.
-
Following the part.
-
But I'm glad we've still got men that will follow
-
the Lord, follow the voice of the Lord. Us Uh
-
preaching in Alabama this week and uh talking about I
-
pray at different times and several times. Lord, I want
-
to know your boss about anything and everything else in
-
your spirit, because when the winds of uh of the world.
-
Are woman strung, I want to know his verse when.
-
He speaks through all of that all hell, I'm borrowing
-
our minds.
-
I want to know it.
-
When it's the Lord, I know his spirit.
-
He let it his spirited all the times, because with
-
out of spirit, we're nothing. That's like one preacher said,
-
I got to know the preacher said said, with the spirit.
-
Of the lord's in the house asking for anything.
-
And everything, because anything and everything's possible.
-
But he's the Lord.
-
And I'm glad we're serving it was to be true
-
and living God this morning. There's a lot of people
-
out there serving at God.
-
That's like the God. I'm glad.
-
I'm glad I know the God this morning. Grave Lord,
-
it's good to be here. We do appreciate the opportunity,
-
honor to be here. And I'll just be honest with you.
-
I'm not a very good, very.
-
Good special occasion preacher.
-
I'm just a country pray.
-
Try to take atiction and just go with it and
-
try to try and do uh get my outlines.
-
I don't even know how to do outline thing.
-
Uh, but I'm gonna try to do what I can
-
this morning for just a few minutes of the world
-
to help me.
-
Uh.
-
But I said, I've been a.
-
Friend friends for him for a long time.
-
I think the first minute Westside in Douglas and uh
-
just just over the years has just grown close.
-
And uh there's one thing about brother, how well I
-
know they don't go to bed early, and he's figured
-
out I don't go to bed for I heard.
-
Uh there's times where where we've just laid down into
-
bed at times.
-
And uh, I found out one thing I'll.
-
Tell I'll tell that in just a minute. But uh,
-
I've turned my.
-
Phone up at night in case my girls or my
-
family need me that i'll hear it. And uh, there
-
are times we've just got to have them to bed
-
on and all.
-
Of a sudden, I'll get a she say, who is that?
-
I said, if I had to get if I'm gonna
-
have it.
-
Now, roll over.
-
Look, I guess it is brother then bothered me.
-
Had it bothered me one bit, But I'm glad he
-
charged his phone.
-
But also, aren't you.
-
It's the Lord.
-
I don't know what you was doing about one to
-
one thirty or so this morning, but he got a
-
little dean.
-
This morning about one something and I couldn't.
-
Find a room ending of the Lord.
-
We had time this morning out on something, but he
-
told me to come and he's so I'm glad. I
-
didn't want to be preaching to a minister of the
-
homeless and realized he was one of them this.
-
Morning, you know.
-
But we finally got in the room this.
-
Morning, were thankful for the accommodations and everything. And I
-
thought about it earlier for how uh you're you're probably
-
you're you're and your family. I believe it the first
-
people that ever got this year on a on an airboat,
-
probably the last. Now I was looking on the phone
-
yesterday and I had to pop up memories of a
-
picture and guess what my memory was yesterday? There's a
-
picture on the airboat and get to go from on
-
how many years ago that's being.
-
But I'm not thankful for the for the times we've.
-
Had, how the Lord's blessed and helped us, and and just.
-
I tell y'all along those I be honest, I thought I.
-
Coming down here yesterday's gonna get a little further.
-
But we're I'm glad.
-
We can still communicate and be friends and get to come.
-
But somebody may mention about, uh, you know, in this
-
ministry there's no retirement.
-
I've heard.
-
I've heard different.
-
Different preachers say they retire from the ministry. But for
-
the how I can't find anywhere in here that uh
-
that that there's a retire on this side. I know
-
we grow older and we may not preach as much.
-
We may not be able to do as much. But
-
it continues on. But I'm telling you there is a
-
retirement playing like no other when.
-
We get over there.
-
For these Lord, I want to hold.
-
Out to the end, don't you.
-
I won't be able to save much this morning that
-
you don't already know about your pastor. And because you're
-
here with him every week, you can sit under him.
-
You know what kind of man he is. And I've
-
already heard it this morning, and I know it to
-
be true. He's gonna preach the word. He's gonna preach
-
the truth.
-
And if I speaks about in the last day, there'll
-
be a famine. And it isn't a famine of the world, but.
-
It's the truth.
-
There's a lot preaching, but it's not the true word
-
of God. I thank God for men that will still
-
stand and preach the truth, aren't you. There's times the
-
truth cuts, there's times the truth hurts. Uh, But that's
-
what we need at times, if all the peace might
-
reprove and review ken And you know there's times it
-
has to be done. You take fruit tree, you never
-
prove it.
-
Uh, You're not gonna You're not gonna have a whole
-
lot of fruit off of it and being very long.
-
But there's times we we it cuts and I've said
-
it before, but the same you know, there there's time.
-
Preachers, priests, I didn't quite like it now hurt.
-
When I got into the order and I prayed it through,
-
I realized, Hey, it was right.
-
I was wrong. You know there's sound we just got amit.
-
I was wrong, he would they were right.
-
The word of God and.
-
Just accept it and uh, and live what the Lord
-
has called us to live. And I appreciate where the
-
houses high this morning. The Bible not the Bible. The
-
old saying is behind every good man's a good a
-
good woman.
-
Isn't They see things that all lot of you never see.
-
They hear things that a lot of others never never
-
never hear. And uh, I don't. I don't know about
-
Sister Howell, but I have Uh. I have a time
-
been riding down the road after I preached, and uh,
-
and Sister Carver go say, I'm talking, and she'll tell
-
me how good I've preached and all that, and then
-
she say.
-
But.
-
Some of that constructive criticism any And have you ever
-
had any of that?
-
Raise?
-
The Lord is basically when you when you dip the
-
blind men seven times to left, the seven arms gone.
-
That's why you know they're help us.
-
Bring us back down the praise the Lord. But I
-
do appreciate, appreciate them this morning.
-
Won't the Lord to help us here for just a
-
few minutes?
-
Uh?
-
Exodus Chaptain number seventeen. Exous Chaptain number seventeen. Say again,
-
there's honored to get to be here. And heard someone
-
says your returning this morning about those that I've come
-
in looking to sit under a strong leadership, and those
-
that's come in heart and those has been mistreated and
-
different things. It is great to come to a place
-
that you can get the help you need, the strength
-
you need, the healing you need, and the leadership you need.
-
But can I encourage?
-
I don't know anything about anybody here really, but if
-
you were one of those and you come and you've
-
had that even you've had that strength, Now be a
-
asset to the church and to the pastor don't be
-
a liability, but be an asset and thank the Lord
-
for what he's done. Now get into fight and fight.
-
There's time.
-
We do get hurt, we do get one ended, but
-
when God heals us.
-
Says, get up, let's go on, and let's let's see
-
what God's called us to be. But chapter number seventeen
-
the Book of It, that's very familiar text. Here I
-
was speaking of verses of eighteen. Said, then emelect became emelect,
-
and fought with it is will and rip of him
-
both is setting that Joshua, use us out for men,
-
and go out fight with Amelect. Tomorrow I will stand
-
on the top of the hill with the rod of
-
God in thine hand. So Joshua did as Moses had
-
said to him, fought and fought with Amelect. Moses, airing
-
and hurling up to the top of the hill, came
-
to pass. When Moses held up his hand, the Moses prevailed,
-
And when he let down his hand.
-
Emelect prevailed.
-
The Moses hands were heavy, and took a stone and
-
put it under him. He sat there on and air
-
and hears stayed up his hands, one on the one.
-
Side and the other on the other side, and his
-
hands were steady.
-
To be going down of the sun.
-
Joshua discomfitted Amelect and his people with the edge of
-
the sword. The Lord, setting to Moses, ripe this for
-
a memorial in a book. Rehearse it in the ears
-
of Joshua, where I would utterly put out the remembrance
-
of Amelect.
-
From under heaven.
-
Moses building all to call the name of it Jehovah
-
vast night before he said, because the Lord hath sworn
-
that the Lord would have.
-
War with Anelect from generation to generation.
-
Aren't you glad?
-
And that fifteen persons Moses building an altar? Aren't you
-
glad that there are men that are still building altars?
-
Because that's the place we win our victories. It's the
-
place we went our battles.
-
Praise Lord.
-
If you would stretch your hands toward heaven.
-
That's the Holy Ghost consents for just a few nalagymen, Lord.
-
Trying to preach us for just a few minutes here,
-
if the Lord will help me. But uh, we know Moses,
-
the life of Moses. Uh, if we backed up.
-
In time and uh realize how that Moses was was
-
raised by Favos on daughter and Pharah not even knowing
-
uh that he was raising up the deliver of the
-
children of God.
-
In amazing how God works, how God works.
-
Things out, and been right there in his house and
-
him not even going this is the man that's going
-
to come A'm going to deliver my children. And we
-
know that Moses had a decision of make in his.
-
Life when he come down and he made that choice
-
to kill that Egyptian.
-
What did he did?
-
He realize that that his home wasn't with those Egyptians,
-
but those were his people, and he had to make
-
up his mind that I'm gonna forsake Egypt. I'm gonna
-
turn my back on Egypt, and I'm gonna I'm gonna
-
serve God. I'm gonna live with God's people. And I
-
know brother Hawise said before how that he had to
-
turn his back on some things and begin to follow
-
the Lord Holy. And I've led the men and women
-
that will forsake the world that we will truly sell
-
out to God and dedicate themselves to Christ. But can
-
you imagine the man here. Moses did not ask for
-
this job. Moses didn't didn't petition him and to say, hey,
-
I'm the man if you'll just send me back, I'm
-
the man that'll lead them out of that.
-
You had a body, didn't you.
-
But we find Moses is on the back side of
-
the desert, and he seen that bush on fire and
-
he realized, hey, it ain't being consumed. And the Lord
-
began to speak to him at that time, begin to
-
tell him, I gotta work for you. I got a
-
job for you.
-
And you know the story there, you know, you.
-
Know the story of Moses's life where he finally surrenders
-
to the will of God. And we know that Moses
-
as he went back before Pharah, did you do it?
-
You a fault?
-
Hey, I gotta go back and face Pharah.
-
I gotta tell him to let God's people go. Having
-
to face fat man. I thought of my brother House
-
told me the story years ago. I believe he had
-
to had to face people around here, even maybe the
-
sheriff that said there wouldn't be a hold this church
-
and in the bill. But he had to face all
-
of those things that Arntie Glad.
-
He was like Moses and didn't back down.
-
Could go one of position come up, when one thing,
-
when one play.
-
Coming in, you know what.
-
Moses went back to payroll and told him what God said,
-
Archie Glad, through all the oppositions of time, every office
-
to go in.
-
That card that came up, that God came for work
-
and God kept a man. You know Hey, how many
-
times of Moses man I said, Hey, you've already done this.
-
Done that.
-
I'm tired of going back to mode.
-
I'm tired of going back to pay road and just
-
seeing him the hut, change his mine and go back.
-
But Archie, glad you got a pastor this morning, in
-
the heat of the vowel and my circumstances of trouble,
-
didn't say, hey.
-
I'm going back home.
-
I'm tired of.
-
Biting everything around here. Every word I learned that somebody
-
against me.
-
That's something arising here, that's something arising.
-
There, putting you what God had said.
-
Come on, hell, I'm saying you what God had said
-
to go and do. And I'm mad this morning, aren't you?
-
That is stuck you out?
-
Hey, you ought to be a little more excited than
-
you are right now, going Hey, get where what you.
-
Be at at the begin of God had to stuck
-
it out? Where let you be at this morning? If
-
he had to stood in the damp and make up
-
the heads and saying I'm willing to bite, I'm willing
-
to go, I will to put I'm willing to go
-
against the opposition.
-
I know what God said, Come on now, hop when
-
God's told you something, you can stand on it.
-
W if God's told.
-
You that, He said, finding dollar, Oh come on, now.
-
I'm glad.
-
Moses kept going back, aren't you glading about?
-
Hide?
-
And kept coming back up to the place.
-
Thank God and call him to Leahad.
-
Who's it about? It's all about God? But thank God
-
for a.
-
Man they're listening.
-
Oh, thank God.
-
Have to look at the box offs.
-
Of what God has God, God, little boy, raise the Lord.
-
But here he is.
-
Moses says, let him out.
-
But now they're fighting against some little first nations that
-
they're fighting against.
-
That they come in elect and they fight here in
-
ret for the end.
-
And Moses said that Josh would choose us out then
-
and go out fight with a elect for tomorrow.
-
Tomorrow.
-
I was staying on the top of the hill with
-
the lot of God inline here.
-
But what was it?
-
Moses was scared to go and fight.
-
Physically, betting you that was not his fight.
-
Come on the house.
-
I said, that was not his fide. Then he said,
-
johns were you go and fight.
-
Physically, You take the men and you go land and fight.
-
But tomorrow we going tom the heel.
-
It wasn't the Moses were scared. It wasn't Moses was prisda.
-
It wasn't the Moses was.
-
Trying to get out of the battle.
-
Butt in.
-
You where the placement I had?
-
I said, And you where the place.
-
Was a hat and that was on top of the hill.
-
Fight the spirits of battle. Come on loud, I said,
-
he was going to fight.
-
Spiritual patch about physically fucked land.
-
Go ben and want a god poll standing again, to fight.
-
The devil for hell? Figimps of hell? What stansil weakened?
-
It's in hot places, a fetal.
-
Stand and pint for you.
-
Come on now, can I tell you? They fine things
-
that you ever know about. They face things that you
-
never go about. But they find the devil of hell
-
this morning. And I tell you Moses that you going
-
fine there and I'll fight here, and I'll tell you
-
it's a joint emperor. This morning, I said, it's a
-
joint empertor fits team work.
-
Come on now, I said, it's team work.
-
And we all need to do our part, fit pint our.
-
Fights and help one another an.
-
Praise the lord.
-
But here Moses is a strong leader.
-
He was.
-
He was strong.
-
Physically, mentally and spiritually. He was a man of faith,
-
He was a man of mercy, He was a man
-
of compassion. We read different places in the scriptures where
-
God said Moses in back up, how I'm going to consume.
-
I'm gonna take them out.
-
Come on now.
-
And what did Moses do? They fell on the face
-
and they pray for mercy. How many times that's a
-
man of God, a fellow his face on your behalf
-
and cry out for mercy. My Lord.
-
They're in trouble there in me.
-
But would you have mercy on?
-
Come on now, you glad of a man that don't.
-
Mind praying for a man that on inter see.
-
O praise God. And there was times, even though it good, a.
-
Man of Moses was that was time I believe in
-
Moses said God kill him.
-
Come on now, I'm tired of them, God, oh.
-
Hell, And God said, old all of my mercy this time,
-
my brother Hallway, Well, I don't talk.
-
You don't talk to him on the phone.
-
I'm want anybody ever talked to him on the phone,
-
come on now and get them worse messages and.
-
All that just picking on you. Come on now, I
-
don't I've.
-
Ever got a message, ever got a horse message that
-
said pray, preacher, pray.
-
I'm ready for God to kill this much.
-
Come on now, I'm mad about all I can stand up.
-
Every time I think we.
-
On the right road, we fall off in another ditch.
-
Come on now, I ain't never got.
-
That call roller road, captain.
-
But thank God for a man that'll keep having mercy
-
better even though at times he fell in the same
-
ditch and the hell it you out of it, and
-
your deft up to me while leading you're the same.
-
Ditchin and he'll reach there and help you up.
-
But you it.
-
Come on now, and.
-
I'll just give you a little advice right here, right.
-
Now, you can keep falling in the same ditta. I
-
coming that ditch up, and you won't pall.
-
In it no more. I put that thing out.
-
You'll never call it that ch again. Come now, a
-
versiful man. I'm lot of a compassionate man.
-
I'm loving a man of faith.
-
How many times of faith.
-
That's having on your behalf?
-
How many times?
-
And say, I'm not talk for you all. Whether a
-
man of good said to the Lord, the Lord spot
-
to me and said.
-
Dous and does it's still on paint?
-
But it didn't look like it was gonna happen a
-
fast and on paint ain't God?
-
Lay away?
-
You come?
-
Lay away you, I say.
-
Thank God, I'm going pastor that last fine man that
-
Moses was, the leader that Moses was. Did you imagine.
-
The job Moses had, if you imagine the responsibility for
-
Lord cal that Moses had leading these millions of people.
-
Out a bonded you and trying to get them to Caine.
-
And come on now, say, I'll tell you what little
-
Hell was trying to do. He's trying to get you
-
to heaven. Come on now, I said, he's trying to
-
get you to heaven. But how many times and Moses
-
here that murmured? How many times in Moses.
-
Here that complain?
-
How many times in Moses here that my Lord Moses,
-
where are we going? Now?
-
How are we here? What are we doing?
-
Come on, now, you know what Moses was doing.
-
He was sickly old man God cow he man said,
-
if you'd ask me, I don't.
-
Really know where we headed, but I know where he
-
said to go, and that's where we come home.
-
Now. They maybe other times you don't understand where we
-
go on walk going home.
-
But when the man of God's got for direction, you just.
-
Call in there and follow him that supporting.
-
And come on, now, became God, he is to lead her.
-
I said, the Holy Ghost is a leader. This morning
-
he'll lead us and guide us and direct us. There's
-
the pants that we need to take. I say, oh, God,
-
let us lift up our pastor that he'll continue to
-
hear from heaven. I'll opinion to be directed by the
-
Holy y'd.
-
But my, did you imagine all of that, all the
-
stuff he.
-
Had, he had to deal with, the murmur, the complain
-
and all of this and all of that.
-
And my.
-
Caud Youmaine, when he tried to lay down and go sleep.
-
Come on, now, you've got a good crowd here.
-
I know, I know when the Lord got a dealer
-
with me about pastors several years ago.
-
Ride down the road, I said, Lord, I got no problems.
-
I'm on, come on, not nine and everybody else's come on.
-
Now. Hey, you know what, The Lord didn't think much
-
of that. He put me there anyway, so I got
-
some experience.
-
Praise the Lord. But can imagine you your dealing with
-
your own problems?
-
And then I said, you did it with your own problem,
-
your own family's problems.
-
But who are you.
-
Calling on when you got problems?
-
I said, who are you calling on?
-
When you let me't print up a few minutes? I said,
-
who is the calling on when you got problems? You
-
want to call on the pastor don't you say? When
-
the past one calls it, it gives up forgets a
-
pastor problems. But this one calls and gives you something else,
-
And this one calls and gives you something else, and
-
it just gets a pilot.
-
Come on now, He'll tell it takes us to man
-
of God that'll uncle himself.
-
Under the mary hand of God.
-
It's a god. I think, canna, but I'm telling.
-
Them one we can god't w hold and tell these
-
folks that mona kills picture of Y'a'll tell her what
-
you say to a man how many times as he's
-
fotu for you need how many times?
-
And they give you a lecture, touch a t mea
-
and want you mean him over.
-
Tuber live on the inside and twenty hours of any
-
even in its God.
-
I'll say, we honor a man that'll honor God.
-
That all soul God and listener, and oh my God.
-
Can I tell you lungs were so loud and folded
-
with dinner.
-
Here telling I agree a soul of the patry. So
-
now he's gonna tell these pots a.
-
Player, and he's gotta go in mine, and then it's him.
-
Praise the Lord for it.
-
I'm gonna go and stand on the top of the
-
heel or the rod of God in mine head.
-
Come on, now he seen some victory for that rod.
-
Oh pray Lord, Hey, what they see at the Red Sea?
-
What Moses do? He stretched forth?
-
That rod didn't come on now. It wasn't a robber.
-
It was omegs. Come on, now, how many times have
-
you seen the man of God? But just the expriens
-
it just stretch forth.
-
The word of God.
-
Come on now, Great and nighty.
-
Things happened, Mother, Dadaniel, Great and mighty things happen because
-
it stretched.
-
Forth the word of God, and said, does said the
-
word of God? Oh praise Lord.
-
If it cuts me, it cut, they'll it'll get better
-
after a while.
-
Come now, But can I tell you right here, no
-
doubt Moses, as he seeing the battle was going on,
-
the battle was arranging. And I tell you, the longer
-
a battle goes on, the.
-
More tired we gehit im. I tell the more weirdson,
-
we you hit he.
-
Can I tell you what I'm right here, I'm glad here.
-
