  1. Fortieth Verse Luke chapter number one versus number thirty nine

  2. or forty. Please Brother Nathaniel Ecclesiastes, chapter number four and

  3. verse number nine.

  4. Brother Jesse Matthew, chapter number eighteen.

  5. And verse number twenty, Praise the Lord. How many of

  6. you are ready for Christmas? You've done everything you needed

  7. to do. You've got it done, and you're ready. How

  8. many of you still are not ready for Christmas?

  9. You're not prepared?

  10. You got some more gifts to buy, some more food

  11. ingredients to buy.

  12. Let me see you in that. How many of you

  13. have some running to do? Yet? There's about nine or

  14. ten of you you still have some running to do.

  15. They tell me that there's seventy five plus in the

  16. building this morning.

  17. That's not too bad.

  18. We've got sixty five people that are prepared and ready,

  19. set on ready right now.

  20. Got about ten that are procrastin the eaters.

  21. Sometimes you have to wait until the last minute because

  22. of situations and circumstances.

  23. You're waiting on a bondness, a paycheck, or just.

  24. Time, or sometimes your vehicle isn't functioning properly and you're

  25. without a set of wheels and you have a problem

  26. with getting where you need to go.

  27. I know things happen, but I'm glad most of you

  28. are prepared.

  29. And for those of you that still have some things

  30. to do, May God give you grace as you try

  31. to do it last minute. May God have mercy on

  32. you as you fight those people in those stores. I'm

  33. telling you what, it was a madhouse in those stores

  34. on Friday and Saturday.

  35. I can't imagine how they're gonna be tomorrow.

  36. With Sister how and I are doing some last minute

  37. things as well. We've got a few more things we've

  38. got to do it. Dear brother who attended our church

  39. for several years. He drove nearly an hour to be here.

  40. He was probably in his eighties. While he attended here.

  41. Oftentimes he would stand up in our services and testify.

  42. At the appointed time. He'd take his index finger and

  43. his little finger and began to pat it on the

  44. palm of.

  45. His other hand, and he'd say, you know, the Lord

  46. has been merciful and gracious to me.

  47. He spared my.

  48. Life and allowed me to live another day. And he'd say, apparently,

  49. my Jesus has.

  50. A few more things for me to do. My Lord

  51. has a few more things for me to do. How

  52. many of you believed God still got something for us

  53. to do?

  54. Amen before his return.

  55. There's people that needed to be reached, and He has

  56. you to do that. I'm so thankful for all of

  57. the outreaches. With that in mind, we have our annual

  58. whole Christmas gifts presents for the children of our community

  59. coming up here in just the next couple of days.

  60. If you'll look at a bulletin, you will exactly what

  61. day of this week we will be doing that. That

  62. is a wonderful opportunity to share the good news. A

  63. lot of times we're handing out tracks as we hand

  64. out the gifts, and that's very important.

  65. Share the good news. Spread the good news.

  66. Go tell it on the mountain, go telling on somebody

  67. telling on the flat lands of Florida. Somebody share it

  68. near the canal, Somebody share it near the river.

  69. Somebody tell the good news. The King has been born.

  70. It's so good to see you. Praise the Lord, brother Nathaniel.

  71. Ecclesiastes, chapter number four and verse number nine.

  72. Please two are.

  73. Better than one because they have a good reward for

  74. their late How many of you believe that two are

  75. better than one?

  76. A lot of times preachers and teachers.

  77. Alive put an emphasis on the first part of that verse,

  78. but they for some reason neglect to quote or read

  79. the latter part of that verse. Brother Nathaniel, would you

  80. read the latter point of that verse once more? Because

  81. they have a good reward for their labor.

  82. Because they have a.

  83. Good reward for their labor, so there was a purpose

  84. for their gathering, just as there is a purpose this

  85. morning for our gathering. And there is no doubt there

  86. will be a tremendous reward for our labors in the kingdom. Together,

  87. Brother Jesse Matthew Chapiter number eighteen and verse number twenty.

  88. Or where two or three are gathered together in my name,

  89. there am I in the midst of them.

  90. I want to bring something to their attention that the

  91. Holy Ghost brought to my attention. May we stand for

  92. the reading of our Golden Text. I'll encourage you to

  93. read Luke chapter number one, verses number thirty five through

  94. forty six today, But for the sake of time.

  95. We will read Luke one, thirty nine and forty.

  96. At this time Bible said and entered into the house

  97. of Zacharias and saluted Elizabeth, and it came to pass

  98. that when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the Babe

  99. leaped in her womb.

  100. And Elizabeth was filled with a holy ghost.

  101. I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost titled

  102. a Charity Christmas, and I want to dedicate this to

  103. my beautiful wife, Sister Charity.

  104. How may we.

  105. Pray, Heavenly Father, we love him, We praise you. We

  106. thank you Lord for your goodness. We thank you for

  107. your mercy. I thank you for these precious people that

  108. are in this building this morning. Truly, we are drawing

  109. strength from you and your presence that you are in

  110. the midst yes, and for that we're most thankful. We're

  111. also thankful for the strength that we are drawing from

  112. our brothers and sisters of light, precious faith that have

  113. come your own purpose.

  114. This mor wanted to do as we are doing to

  115. worship you. We draw strength from them. We thank you

  116. for community and service.

  117. We thank you for power that comes from you, and

  118. also the energy of the strength that we received from

  119. my brothers and sisters. We prayed that you would anoint

  120. this thy servants, set a guard in my mouth and

  121. help me to say the things you would have you

  122. to say. Nothing more or less, and anoint the years

  123. of this thy people, that they might hear what the

  124. Spirit of God said to the church. I pray the

  125. sayings would go below the shoulders. We give you the

  126. praise and the art of the glory. May we depart

  127. this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus' name, in

  128. the church said Amen, as you're being seated, look at

  129. your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, I can feel it

  130. in the room. Ask them this question, what is it

  131. the presence of the Holy Ghost? Say it again, Hey, neighbor,

  132. I can feel it in the room.

  133. Praise the Lord.

  134. Our text is found in a New Testament book of

  135. the Holy Bible, the Book of Luke. This book is

  136. the third book of the New Testament. It is the

  137. first of a two volume work done by the beloved

  138. physician Luke.

  139. It is the parent that the treaties.

  140. Written for the notable and noble Theopolis and so many

  141. other believers that we call Christians.

  142. The purpose of this book was written.

  143. In order to give this generation, in every generation actor

  144. the resurrection of Jesus Christ, an assurance of the life

  145. and the ministry of Jesus, and also to give them

  146. confirmation of the lives and the ministries of the Apostolic brethren,

  147. the apostles whom our Lords specifically chose to travel alongside

  148. of him in the ministry. How many of you believe

  149. that the Lord could have went at it alone? For

  150. how many of you have felt the presence of the

  151. Lord in.

  152. This place today? Here in the Sunday school.

  153. Hour, during the time of worship, as Sister Howell led

  154. the congregation on inquire singing, we felt the presence of

  155. the Lord. And I want you to know your drawing

  156. strength from that, brother and sister to sitting next to

  157. you on that pew. I have been in church buildings

  158. where there are few in number, and sometimes we encourage

  159. ourselves with that verse where two are three are gathered together.

  160. In My name, There am I in.

  161. Their mintst Because of the low number in attendance during

  162. that specific service in that setting, Brother Jesse, it troubles

  163. us because there's so few in number. But I remember

  164. Brother Platte talking about a time when he attended the

  165. church by himself.

  166. He sent in order to the doors.

  167. Open, I had to attend that church by myself, he said.

  168. Service after service, it was me myself and I, he said,

  169. I sing it him out of the old rent back hymnal.

  170. He said, I read my Bible, testified and prayed and

  171. went home. He said, after about a six month period,

  172. his wife, missus Barbara Platt, decided to join him, and

  173. he talked to me a lot of times about the

  174. strength that he drew in having his wife by his side.

  175. Several years ago, I preached a message title there is

  176. no such.

  177. Thing as the Lone Ranger.

  178. The title of that TV series itself is deceptive.

  179. For anyone that is.

  180. Familiar with the Old Time story hour program The Long

  181. Ranger or the TV series, you know that the Lone

  182. Ranger had help. He had help and a trustee, sidekick

  183. and fellow companion named Tonto.

  184. There were also other people that would help him.

  185. I feel like it is definitely an interesting listen. I

  186. personally love to listen to Old Time Radio and listen

  187. to that program, The Lone Ranger. But I know that

  188. it is a terrible, terrible thing to imply that we

  189. can do this alone. I don't care what it is

  190. we're doing in life, it is difficult to do it alone.

  191. And I would say, out of all of the apostles.

  192. Certainly the apostle Paul was the one that had the

  193. ability and the power to do this thing we call

  194. Christianity alone.

  195. But we will find all through.

  196. The Pauline epistles, which are in his writings, that he

  197. did not go at it alone. One of the reasons

  198. for that are the writings of our code text this morning,

  199. that Jesus Christ himself rected his disciples not to go

  200. at this alone. Concerning evangelism, outreach and ministry opportunities, they

  201. should be embraced by twos. I know sometimes as a pastor,

  202. I have to go at it alone. I know sometimes

  203. you have to go into the streets and stand on

  204. the street corner alone and minister. But we must admit

  205. that it's always easier and better for us, our spirits

  206. and for others if we have that trusty companion or

  207. sidekick alongside of us. I remember, as a street preacher

  208. having my wife stand by my side, and the street

  209. that I drew from that brother Jesse, and.

  210. In time I had six children standing.

  211. By my side, And oh how different it felt when

  212. I was out there alone versus when the Howell family

  213. was out there ministering together.

  214. I've heard brother Plat talk about how.

  215. He was tremendously blessed as he saw this church begin

  216. to come to life. After that the Holy Ghost had

  217. breathed life into the nostrils of the Bethel Holiness Church,

  218. and he saw this church began to flourish and prosper.

  219. A lot of times he told me, said, I had

  220. a vision from the Lord one day, and I saw

  221. this coming to pass, and I wondered, would it ever happened,

  222. would it ever come into fruition and praise the Lord.

  223. When he died, we were running about forty and he

  224. was so blessed. He stand up and testify and say,

  225. I think all from my brothers and sisters in Christ.

  226. A lot of you stood by his bedside when he

  227. was a dying man, and you will remember him talking

  228. about how blessed he was to have you as family.

  229. How many of you know Church family is a blessing.

  230. To have Church family is a blessing. Some of you

  231. do not have family. A lot of your parents are

  232. dead and gone, some of your siblings have passed now,

  233. and you do not have family, and you're sitting at

  234. home alone during the holidays. I want to comfort you

  235. this morning and encourage you to have a look around

  236. and see just how blessed you are. Not only do

  237. you have seventy five plus brothers and sisters in cross

  238. present today, you've got a large family. In fact, when

  239. the Great Apostle peered into the Kingdom via vision, he said,

  240. there's an innumerable host of my family members.

  241. No man is able.

  242. To calculate the sum or give the total of this number.

  243. So I feel like this man Luke was a wonderful

  244. companion to the Apostle Paul. This past Wednesday night, I

  245. preached a sermon the Holy Ghost titled Heavenly Hospitality, and

  246. we talked a little bit how the beloved physician would

  247. have been most hospitable.

  248. He would have been a very kind hearted.

  249. Man that would have been a great traveling companion. Thinking

  250. about that, God began to deal with my heart about companionship.

  251. You may have a spouse that has betrayed you and

  252. went in another direction, but you have companionship and kinship

  253. with somebody in this building this morning, besides your Lord

  254. and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  255. It is true that you're blessed to have the Lord.

  256. That's the greatest gift that we could possess. That's the

  257. best friend that we could ever have. With all the

  258. blessings of companionship.

  259. And community, a lot of people get themselves in harm's

  260. way and jeopardy because they do not value community. In fact,

  261. there's a lot of people Baxley and right now because

  262. they felt like they could do alone.

  263. They felt like.

  264. They were strong enough spiritually to sit there at the

  265. house without receiving confirmation and assurance of their certain experiences.

  266. And with that thought in mind, I want to point

  267. out that there came a time in Mary.

  268. And Elizabeth life when they had received some beautiful promises,

  269. and you know, they received assurance in confirmation by their reunion.

  270. I want you to think with me, Imagine the energy

  271. and the excitement in the room as these two came together.

  272. Imagine the energy and.

  273. The excitement with the apostle Paul and Luke as they

  274. traveled together. You see the experiences of Paul in Silace.

  275. You see the experiences of Paul and John Mark, and

  276. they are full of energy and full of excitement. You

  277. see these gospel writers that gave us these four gospels.

  278. Three of the.

  279. Four were companions of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  280. But Luke had not been a travel companion with Jesus personally.

  281. He may not have known Jesus.

  282. But Luke developed and fostered a relationship with the Apostolic brethren,

  283. the apostles that traveled with the Lord. So three of

  284. the four Gospels were given to us by men that

  285. witness as eye witnesses the daily life.

  286. And ministry of the Savior.

  287. But Luke, he's an outsider, He's a gentile, he's not

  288. a Hebrew. He's a physician by occupation. And it comes

  289. into an experience with Jesus Christ, and he falls in

  290. love with the brethren, and we find that he embraces

  291. of the people and the children of God.

  292. And no doubt he was the student of.

  293. The testimony and the writings of these other authors of

  294. the other three.

  295. Gospels, and better Jesse. I feel like.

  296. Luca developed a continuity between him and the brethren. Her

  297. hav many of you in this fielding this morning, you

  298. value kinship and friendship. You see the continuity between the

  299. historical writings of the.

  300. Four authors of the four Gospels of his remarkable.

  301. Truly, they had a story to share with the world

  302. about a man named Jesus. They had a story to

  303. tell about the thirty three and a half years.

  304. In time when God incarnate.

  305. Came to live amongst humanity. Beyond the continuity of the

  306. themes purpose in the writings of the four Gospels, we

  307. see a continuity between Look and some of the apostles

  308. of the Lord Jesus. There is continuity in their personal

  309. relationships and friendships. Continuity is the state of quality of

  310. being continuous. Again, continuity is the state or quality of

  311. being continuous. Even if there are bumps along the way,

  312. there are no greats. I said, Even if there are

  313. bumps along the way, there are no breaks. And that's

  314. how it should be in our relationship of the Jesus Christ,

  315. and also in our marital relationships and in our spiritual relationships,

  316. specifically concerning our church family. There will be accidental bumps

  317. and accidental bruises along the way, but we have to

  318. have to hide and there should not be a breaker

  319. in the continuity of our relationship and our local assembly.

  320. You see, the personal relationship between Jesus and most of

  321. his disciples did not cease her after time had passed her,

  322. and even after time had elapsed her.

  323. And after he had went on the glory.

  324. They maintained their personal relationship with the Lord. I remember

  325. when sister who lost her brother Jean, she said, I'm

  326. not ever gonna look.

  327. For another because he was my forever.

  328. What she was saying is, I'm not gonna be of

  329. the free holiness mindset that I've got.

  330. To have a man, that she's got to have a man,

  331. or he's.

  332. Got to have a Wolling Day will shut this one

  333. up over there and pushed them into a.

  334. Marriage her that they are unhappy.

  335. What Sister Rude was saying.

  336. Her, I'm not exactly just looking for a physical relationship.

  337. I've already had the relationships. My relationship, sir, do you

  338. know the Bible said that what God has joined together

  339. let not matter for the sunder.

  340. You see, Jesus forged.

  341. Her in the power of the Upper Room.

  342. In Pentecostal moments, the power of the Holy Ghost forcing

  343. the fire her relationships between him and those believers about

  344. a hundred and twenty people God in a relationship who

  345. the Holy Ghost.

  346. They had been in a.

  347. Relationship with Jesus. But Jesus that said, I'll go, but

  348. I want be forgot now when I send somebody left

  349. to you and they received that.

  350. Third part to look a Godhead.

  351. Now the computor left, Jesus said, It says, speeding for

  352. you that I got left. If I don't tell the

  353. confident leo head not come, well, I want you in this.

  354. Sometimes when we choose her not, they're going to church.

  355. When we choose her not.

  356. Go have holy communion.

  357. And the comfident he does not come.

  358. Right, I'm telling somebody there.

  359. In this theater, this.

  360. Man that Jesus said, Jesus said, I said, Jesus, saying

  361. that where two there three.

  362. I gave the desert here my name day.

  363. Clearmody in their best.

  364. Obviously he was given assurance and reins assurance and comfort

  365. and consolation in the gathering of a few. Well, why

  366. didn't he go to the ultimate extreme and say where

  367. one is gathered? Truly this biblical examples of one such

  368. as Daniel who went through the den of lions, not

  369. a lion's den, as to speak of one adversary in

  370. the form of a lion being in a den, but

  371. a den of lions. Some people say up to ten

  372. lions in that den. And it's true that the Holy

  373. Trinity was present. But we all serve find an example

  374. in the Bible, where three Hebrew young men had a

  375. nown michel and as a rye some of you know them,

  376. a shadrecked me shack, and a big the gold. They

  377. stood for truth and righteousness in their treasured community. In fact,

  378. Daniel was among their community. He was among their confidants.

  379. He was somebody that they valued as a real But

  380. we final a certain day that Daniel was nowhere around.

  381. But those three men worked.

  382. Together that they went through the power together. They went

  383. through the fire together. I said, they went to the

  384. fire together. This is a symbolic that sometimes when you hurt,

  385. that fella and sister hurts up. When you suffer, that

  386. father and sister suffers with you. Hey, come on, that's

  387. the words of Jesus. I'm telling somebody. He yes, Tess

  388. showed up for Daniel in the ind of lions. That

  389. remember he also showed up that fourth.

  390. Man in the power his present.

  391. And there was only community between brother.

  392. Oh, come all, I had somebody this morning.

  393. You need to stop and consider, contemplator, what a blessing

  394. it is.

  395. To have a brother and a sis.

  396. Christmas faith for my precious faith and in this has

  397. for God.

  398. This morning.

  399. The biblical writers said these words, how good and how

  400. pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity,

  401. as the people of God, saying this morning the praises

  402. of God. Whatever, the musicians stopped their playing. As they

  403. had played skillfully, I had been blessed. But when the

  404. notes were silenced, and when the voices of the singers

  405. were silent, I no longer heard the music of the instruments.

  406. I no longer.

  407. Heard the beautiful sound of the skilled musicians. I no

  408. longer heard the beautiful voice of the choir and the

  409. congregants and the song leader.

  410. But I heard the voice.

  411. Of my brothers and sh that did not have a

  412. microphony in their hands.

  413. I heard some weeping. I heard some say glory to God.

  414. I heard some say hallelujah.

  415. And as the pastor of this church and the shepherd

  416. that God has appointed the presided over this people, I said,

  417. under Shepherd to him. I stood over there in the corner,

  418. and my soul was blessed as I heard the fellow

  419. worship person worshiping and praising God.

  420. I want you to know you are not supposed.

  421. To try to go at this alone. I'm not preaching

  422. anybody particular. This morning. Hell, I'm just preaching what God

  423. puts on my heart. I could truly say I've got

  424. nobody in mind. But I want you to value the

  425. kidship at the.

  426. Friendship and the continuity of this Christian community that.

  427. God has blessed.

  428. You were.

  429. So beyond the continuity of the thieves and the purpose

  430. and the writings of these gospels, we see a continuity

  431. between these people of God always stressed friendship amongst siblings.

  432. In our household.

  433. Sister, how and I stressed friendship in our relationship. We

  434. first develop friendship before we got into a romantic relationship.

  435. I want you to.

  436. Know it's a sad thing and an indictment to parents

  437. when those children have been reared and mom and Dad's

  438. home and them siblings are fighting like cats and dogs

  439. and fushing incessantly.

  440. As much as the devil does every time.

  441. God boves and works miraculously, which is without season.

  442. The devils are fussing every day.

  443. Because God is a busy God doing wonderful and beautiful

  444. things for his children. But sad thing when parents don't

  445. make it a priority to teach siblings.

  446. To get along.

  447. There might be some siblings in this fielding this morning

  448. you could go past the wedding years, past the times

  449. of your marriage, and go in separate directions from your

  450. your siblings.

  451. And never see them again, and it would not bother

  452. you one bed. It would bother you that you hurt

  453. ten years.

  454. Later that they died.

  455. Why because you were arc enemies, you were chief competitors,

  456. You were each other's nemesisa in the household of your parents.

  457. It's a shame of your parents. And I smeared it

  458. in their face this morning.

  459. If a brother and a sister cannot get them old,

  460. that they cannot go haita properly.

  461. I sit it in churches as well.

  462. Pastors have purposely so disclarit among the credit and not

  463. allow the experenial supers to get along. I'm telling you

  464. it's good that us person for pethers and sisters to

  465. tell you what to cohabitate to church together unified.

  466. It's a client shame.

  467. What's so called Pentecostal Christians can't get along. Pastors preach

  468. a different message and that that John and Jesus preach.

  469. They refuse to preach a message of repentance. They refuse

  470. to preach the undoluded, unadulteriorated nontained word of God. The

  471. Bible teaches us that Christians should not agree to disagree,

  472. that Christians should not be people of a different denominator.

  473. Christians were called Christians and Antiocha because of their Pentecostal experiences,

  474. because of their manner of life, because of their mimicry

  475. of Jesus, his.

  476. Ministry and his life. They were Christians.

  477. That I'm telling you, God is not a god of denomination.

  478. So I still good in arithmetic, in matter in school.

  479. And then a minute a church organization becomes a denomination.

  480. It is divisive.

  481. Do y'all get that?

  482. Do y'all understand magic? We all should have one common denominator.

  483. This should equal a whole number. That is, Jesus and

  484. the Church are equal in reality.

  485. Now, I'm telling you, when you've got a Church of God,

  486. a siding of God, a christ region to Luther, the badness,

  487. a nothingist, somebody went roun somewhere, take me back to

  488. the unkarouma, Take me back to the miner and God

  489. is where I re stated, I church of God.

  490. I'm a sent of God.

  491. Oh trust what your old love darking. I trust you,

  492. I trust I trust you, I trust you.

  493. I will not ever again belong to the Church of God.

  494. Never they went wrong when they divided. That's a newly

  495. foreigned organization. Considering how much time has went on since

  496. Adam and.

  497. Eve's existence, that Jehovah's Witness is.

  498. A newly formed organization. How could did Jehovah's Witness be right?

  499. What did everybody else do before the formation of Jehovah's Witness?

  500. What did everybody do before the formation of the dividing

  501. spirit behind the Church of God. I'm a Church of

  502. God man eighteen years of it.

  503. My life is an assimilar God woman, nineteen years of it.

  504. Her mother is an Assembly of God woman. Her grandpa

  505. wasn't as similar god man. Her grandpa was an old

  506. time assimbly god woman. My daddy was a Church of

  507. God man. My granddaddy was a Church of God man.

  508. My great granddaddy was Church of God.

  509. I don't know how many.

  510. Generations we go back, but if you go back far enough,

  511. you go back to the Assusa Street.

  512. Revivedal before the study.

  513. Being divisions amongst Pentecostal people. Who started this great Pentecostal

  514. movement of the modern era was the movement of the

  515. Holy Ghost through a revocation of pactification.

  516. The value for casatas the.

  517. One they're not live a sacti piety.

  518. It's coltious to know the lie of their churches.

  519. It's coltius to love a day.

  520. Jesus said in the Book of Revelation, do you have

  521. a day? But again, why isn't everybody focuses on the

  522. name or love to life?

  523. What is the fantasy over their denominations?

  524. What is the fascination of what Grandpa had?

  525. What about what Jesus had? He didn't say, upon.

  526. This Baptist church, upon this descent of God, upon this

  527. church of God, out being by church, He said, upon

  528. this rock.

  529. I am becoming more persuaated by the day.

  530. Because of the light that is in an organization and

  531. a denomination. In my diligence studies of scripture, I am

  532. becoming more convinced by the.

  533. Day that a church should be autonomous.

  534. Meaning capable of self governing, and that a church should

  535. not belong to an organization of a period. I was praying,

  536. and I'm gonna get real personal. Come up here, simply, God, girl,

  537. I was praying about a week ago, and I still

  538. don't understand the fullness of this but I'm gonna share this,

  539. and I know you all will share the message.

  540. But that's all right. I am telling you come up

  541. here and stand behind.

  542. Me in this pool pit. Standing right here, hide and

  543. behind it is big enough. I know this message will

  544. get shared. I know this will bring forth private conversations

  545. and discussions by hypocrites churches, caiphas and Judas and political

  546. hierarchies like pilot inherent. It ain't backbone to do anything.

  547. I know this sermon will be passed around. I know

  548. there's good holdiness people in the Church of God, but

  549. they're becoming few and far between. I know what God

  550. dealt with us about when we had to come out

  551. thirty something years ago, and I tell you this, it

  552. ain't progressed for the best at all in thirty something years.

  553. And some of them are just now figuring out that

  554. the head has been sick for a long time.

  555. The problem thirty years ago was that with.

  556. Good people that had good hearts wanting to do right

  557. and keep it together, the problem was the head was

  558. sick and the head was going to destroy it. That's

  559. the problem with the dominations. When you have a hierarchy

  560. and you have an overseer It doesn't matter how beautiful

  561. of a congregation you have in South Florida. It doesn't

  562. matter who you feel like you Elisha is Elijah, It

  563. doesn't matter.

  564. What your plans are.

  565. The district overse and the state oversere they can manipulate

  566. the situation and put whoever they wont to in that

  567. pulpit of that church, that people's child Bill and that

  568. people's bloods went in tears Bill, and they consume the

  569. handily if they wont to, and if they desire to

  570. destroy the most holiness of cartner Lass by simply putting

  571. the wrong person in the poolpit.

  572. Now you're looking at a Church of God Boy again.

  573. I don't know if I'm fourth or fifth generation or

  574. beyond that.

  575. And you're looking at Assembly of God Girl again.

  576. I'm preaching a message the Holy Ghost titled a charity

  577. Christmas an Assembly of.

  578. God Girl and a Church of God Boy.

  579. I bled Church of God, I sleppt Church of God.

  580. I worked with a youth in the Church of God.

  581. I took them on skating trips in the Church of God.

  582. She's singing in the choir of that Assembly of God

  583. Mega church. Her former pastor, Wayne Blackburn pastors the Victory

  584. Assembly of God in Lakeland, Florida.

  585. Google it. That was her pastor. That's a very big church.

  586. We come from, not backwood country churches, who come from

  587. well established, foolly functional churches that there's no doubt some

  588. great Man of God built, Great men of God built

  589. that Assembly of God.

  590. Great men of God built the Church of God. I

  591. come out of her great granddaddy. Now it's your granddaddy.

  592. Logan mark was that your granddaddy was an Assembly of

  593. God ministry. They went to youth camp and what's called

  594. Master Peace Gardens.

  595. It was way better than the youth camp all went to.

  596. And why Mama, do I have to go there?

  597. Assembly of God had the best youth camp facility and

  598. you had.

  599. To pay a premium to go. Her granddaddy.

  600. I had to see in the way things went hawked

  601. with the record keeper. In Missouri, that's where the Assumings

  602. of God's headquarters are, the state headquarters. You go to

  603. the Branson and Springfield area, you will see Assembly of

  604. Gods everywhere. Are y all praying for me? I'm gonna

  605. slow down just a little bit. I got so much

  606. to preaching. I didn't attend on saying all this, This

  607. is the Holy Ghost.

  608. Speaking right here through his humble servant, and I'm nothing

  609. but dirt.

  610. We got to change our mindset because we're married to denominations.

  611. We're married.

  612. You have a hard time pulling them people out of

  613. the Baptist Church and the Lutheran Church and the Catholic

  614. Church because they bowed to never leave. Where's that in

  615. the Bible. But we left fully functional churches. As far

  616. as I know, the buildings were paid for.

  617. We had at.

  618. Christmas time, Christmas cantatas saying by road choirs, beautiful services

  619. we participated. I was Ebenezer Scrooge in the church Christmas.

  620. For many years, we were rejects in very large functional congregations.

  621. In fact, when I met Sister.

  622. Hawa, went to her church for the first time, which

  623. was taboo for a Church of God to marry Thesembly

  624. of God girl.

  625. Again, it was taboo because the.

  626. Church of God people were bullying Assembly of God people

  627. way back then, saying she's way too world and then

  628. people's way too.

  629. Worldly for us. But them women had pulled poodle dog

  630. hair tight.

  631. Kiki perms into the lips in the Church of God,

  632. and they were judging the Assembly of God. I guess

  633. it was a battle of who could wear the shortest skirt.

  634. So they were upset with me because I was leaving

  635. the Church of God in Bradley going to the Moultbar

  636. Assembly of God to talk to Sister Charity. And we

  637. knew nothing of independent holiness people. We knew nothing of

  638. a church being a totomous. We had no problem with

  639. respecting our elders. We had no problem with service to

  640. our pastor. I have no problem or pastor appreciation services.

  641. We were not rebels by nature. In fact, when I

  642. saw Sister Howell, she was like the girl that poured

  643. the water on the hands of the preacher's wife.

  644. If I have to be honest.

  645. Of the one hundred and fifty that were there on

  646. Sunday mornings at her church, she was their favorite. Talking

  647. about the pastor and the pastor's wife, she was their favorite.

  648. We didn't leave because we were rebels or renegades, Dear.

  649. I didn't leave the Church of God because I couldn't

  650. minister there. In fact, the night that I left, the

  651. pastor came to me and offered me a promotion and

  652. also offered to go buy a ten thousand dollars piano.

  653. Sister Howell was witness to that. They will buy you,

  654. they will phone call you, they will make friends with

  655. you on Facebook in order to keep you because they

  656. want to keep the tie. I'm preaching on a charity Christmas.

  657. I'm preaching on a charity Christmas. What does this have

  658. to do with your text? Have a seacret?

  659. There's now I feel that to slow down right here.

  660. I was praying, and I know this is going to

  661. go around and people is going to say, who does

  662. he think he is?

  663. First? Let me answer that question. And when you share

  664. these clips, make sure you don't edit out. I am

  665. a nobody, Jemmy, I am a nobody.

  666. I'm the least of my brothers and sisters in this building.

  667. And I'm tired of seeing the devil bullyeve them. I'm

  668. tired of them being treated like they're misfits. I'm tired

  669. of the devil treating them like they're the ones that

  670. are wrong because they're standing for truth and righteousness.

  671. I'm tired of that foolishness. But I was praying last

  672. week and some of you independent holding us people can.

  673. Fall out with me all you want to about this

  674. but I was praying, and I do pray, and anybody

  675. listens to my preaching, you can tell I pray and

  676. my message has come from God. Does when them God's

  677. stealing and start using them what they've been doing. They

  678. can't find no other online resource.

  679. Right home on yet.

  680. Right, it's not my messages anyway, they're God's. But first,

  681. let me say again, I'm a nobody. I'm less and dirt.

  682. I know how I beg God to help me in

  683. that office.

  684. I don't get the big head. I don't swell up

  685. like I'm somebody.

  686. Brother Jean Butler, He'll tell you if I running to

  687. you at the park, I'll talk to you like you've

  688. been my best friend all your life.

  689. And that's what I'm talking about this morning. You can

  690. tell you'll talk on somebody.

  691. You can tell when there's continuity between brothers and sisters.

  692. You ever got around somebody said the spirit wasn't right.

  693. I can tell the.

  694. Spirit wasn't right.

  695. Well, you know what my spirit bear's witness with every

  696. person in.

  697. This building is born.

  698. I can tell where my spirit bears witness with people

  699. there that you'll to God. I can tell what I

  700. mean my brother and sister, I've bet him in Canada before.

  701. And they walked up and said, we could tell you hell,

  702. you had it right. I said, how could you tell that?

  703. They said, by your spirit. I've met him in Canada,

  704. I've met him in Alaska. I've bet him on cruise ships.

  705. I've met him in South Florida. I've met him into

  706. smoking mountains. So I said, God, God, what do you

  707. mean by this?

  708. He said?

  709. FT Mason died a holiness man. His wife got a

  710. holiness demon. Now, if you got a spirit that most

  711. of sue discord among the brethren right now. That was

  712. the problem that developed in this region was the Pusson.

  713. And the Bartons and the lack of put me on

  714. between Mother.

  715. And God, said brother F. T.

  716. Mason. Began to lose the grip on these Church of

  717. Gods with them this trip and state overseers started putting.

  718. The WNG men in the pulpits, and then roll Mere

  719. started influencing the parishions.

  720. That I was a beeper in a crowd in my office.

  721. I'm running out of time. And God said, if.

  722. You could have sent them services and really seen FT.

  723. Mason's heart as he wept and.

  724. He cried as he saw what he bre be dissolved

  725. by preachers that would.

  726. Not hold up the treas her.

  727. God said, he.

  728. Sent right there standing for what he preached poor.

  729. But he stood poor what he preached the gift all

  730. their years, and he died living it.

  731. My heart broke, My heart broke in Twain. That's the movie.

  732. Now, I'm not sent here to preserve holiness and standards

  733. of truth and righteousness and the Word of God, because

  734. you can't even hear the Word of God holy preached

  735. and intelligent fashion anymore anyway.

  736. But I'm not here to preserve.

  737. The preaching of the Word of God and standards and

  738. truth and righteousness at this location.

  739. Only God, let me know it's bigger than O. D. Coleman.

  740. God let me know.

  741. It's bigger than Rodny Faulkner. God let me know it's

  742. bigger than brother Bill Durden. And that's a good thing.

  743. I'm sorry that you've got your favorite quarterback.

  744. But you know what witness little independent holiness churches all

  745. over this region.

  746. He will know that this was bigger than Jeremy Howell.

  747. And then it was bigger than that.

  748. To nation, it was set of trying the badness. He

  749. came in the spirit of Elijah, some of you and

  750. amy U to remember that our teas was walking high

  751. and preaching truth and.

  752. Holded us and righteousness.

  753. And I want you to know it's back. I said

  754. that he is all time.

  755. Preaching all time.

  756. Hold of this SERVI says, Oh, they are God.

  757. And what we will do we will refuse to.

  758. Form an organization.

  759. And what we will do, we will refuse.

  760. The goad of denomination. So they go overseer her to.

  761. This soul that God has got together.

  762. What happened in the churches in this region.

  763. And we had good church and believed in one way,

  764. and another church that believed in another way. A church

  765. of God up to worth thirty miles believed it different

  766. than the Church of God over here. Another church of

  767. God an hour away believed in different than another one

  768. twenty minutes away from that one.

  769. Where is the.

  770. Community of the spirit of God.

  771. Up between people of God.

  772. And honor to the spirit of ft Mason. I say,

  773. we're Christian soldiers. I say in the same cities. I say,

  774. in the same spirit, Nay, God of North Teas men

  775. to go into the same cities. And the Pioneer and

  776. the old time Pentecostom style churches and a similar God

  777. Girl and a Church of God Boy became independent. We

  778. set aside our doctrinal differences. We came together with a

  779. common denominator of the Word. We set aside to a

  780. doctrinal differences, and we came together for the sake of

  781. the Kingdom and for the sake of the Word of God.

  782. And the end result is this.

  783. The continuity in their.

  784. Personal relationship and friendship is remarkable. I'm not talking about

  785. the spirit of e communticism, where a bunch of church

  786. and God preachers come together on a Friday night and

  787. they shah lah lah lah lah over people they've been

  788. quote working with for thirty years. You can work with

  789. a rebel this person for thirty years all you want to.

  790. That's not indicative nor of a good leadership ability, nor

  791. is it a testimony to your patience. I've been working

  792. with that sister for thirty years. I've been patient with her. Well,

  793. what's your problem with your leadership? You ain't got the

  794. Holy ghost a naughty because the Bible said the Holy

  795. ghost will destroy you. We specialize in working with people.

  796. In fact, every one of these people are working progress.

  797. And I've been told about people sitting in the pews

  798. right here. That's been with me for a while.

  799. I've been taught by independent and nominal churches. Their pastors

  800. included that there is no way we will help them.

  801. There's no way they will change. They will never change.

  802. That's right. We won't do it, but God we will

  803. do it.

  804. What I'm saying is, if it's good and pleasant for

  805. brethren to dwell together in unity, then it must.

  806. Be horribly terrible and unpleasant for them to be disunified.

  807. It's not a batch of honor to go to a

  808. meeting if it's a Baptist, Luther, Catholic, Church of God

  809. assembling God. I'm picking on Church of God assembla God

  810. because you're looking at former Church of God and dissembling God.

  811. People July have grounds to say something. Now, if you're

  812. a Lutheran or you're Catholic, you talk about the Lutherans.

  813. And the Catholics and don't think it's funny.

  814. I can talk about Church of God because.

  815. The Howell family probably paid more tie than to the

  816. Church of God over the last one hundred years in

  817. any other family I knew. And she can talk about

  818. the Assembly of God again we didn't come from pipsqueak

  819. Church of God's and Assembly of God's out in the

  820. sticks in the country as compromising. My text is this,

  821. there was continuity between Mary and Elizabeth. I don't know

  822. how long it had been since they had got together.

  823. It could have been a good while since the how

  824. will stand up right here? On December the twenty second,

  825. nineteen ninety two, a Church of God boy knocked on

  826. an Assembly of God girl's door.

  827. And I've done the unthinkable and the unimaginable. I walked

  828. through that.

  829. Threshold on December twenty second, nineteen ninety two. Right today

  830. is December twenty second, twenty twenty four, thirty two years

  831. ago our relationship began. I'm preaching a sermon the Holy

  832. Ghost titled a Charity Christmas.

  833. I can remember it as it was yesterday. You can

  834. sit down, Sister Howell.

  835. I can remember getting out of that camaro, closing the door,

  836. walking up on the front porch, being nervous as I

  837. did the raditat.

  838. Tattle on the door.

  839. She came to the door with the biggest smile on

  840. her face. Brother Butler, was just a beautiful moment. And

  841. what I want to point out was the energy and

  842. the excitement that became apparent in that.

  843. Room at the moment of our union. I want to

  844. point out.

  845. The energy and the excitement that was evident by Zacharias

  846. that anyone else that was pleasant when married and Elizabeth

  847. came to get.

  848. Thirty two years ago.

  849. A lot of you remember your marital anniversary, the days

  850. that you did, the commitals and the vowels. You remember

  851. that day. We remember the day that we became official

  852. because sister Howell, she says, you know, our wedding anniversary

  853. is August twenty seventh, nineteen ninety four.

  854. But she said, we've been married and we've been bonded.

  855. Since December twenty second, nineteen ninety two.

  856. That was the best Christmas when we came together.

  857. God's people have gotten to forget about these obligations and

  858. committals to denominations.

  859. Come on, come on, I agree, my God. Where did

  860. you side on the line that you have to die?

  861. Church of God?

  862. So we live and learn from history and historically we

  863. now have evidence it does not work. I said, the

  864. nominations do not work. I said, the nominations do not work.

  865. Such a God, a similar God.

  866. We forgot about it. They retain that the other, and

  867. we fell in love of the Bible.

  868. God.

  869. I tell the pature be in this house, he got a.

  870. Kid about some taste.

  871. Lay there by hide they go on caller.

  872. If they want a connection, there is a connection. Right

  873. here's the reciprocal Just get connection. And that's what I'm

  874. telling people that are looking for truta and righteousness or

  875. the old top holding us so lo mon at nation Creepsure.

  876. It's right here.

  877. It's not to neither. Let's through the word of God

  878. and through the Holy test I.

  879. Say it's up here for that.

  880. But you know what I see if the Lord Terry's

  881. what God showed me in that office. I see a

  882. holiness church in bell Bray.

  883. I see a hol in this church includens.
