What we feel. I wanna say first, I appreciate the
-
Man of God.
-
He's been a bright and shining light in our life,
-
and I truly.
-
Love him and appreciate him. Accounted a great honor to.
-
Stand behind the hoop dead, and I value his leadership.
-
And everything he's done. He's been very kind to the
-
road Cat family.
-
We appreciate the Bethel hole in his church or church family.
-
We're so glad to be here, so thankful for what
-
the Lord's doing in this revival. He touched me in
-
a mighty way Friday night, and uh, we're praying for
-
that annoying. We need that this morning. That same annoyment
-
gave Jesus the words he annoyed me to preach the godspel,
-
and we wanna preach it to you this morning, and
-
we need his help. I hope to trust that he'll
-
annoying every heart this morning.
-
We're gonna get into the word of the Lord. Acts
-
chapter number seven. I got s. I'm gonna try not
-
to read too much, but.
-
I got several verses Acts Chapters number seven, Chapter number eight.
-
Chapter number nine.
-
Again, we appreciate that you being in the house of
-
the Lord this morning and We're not going to take
-
too much time this morning, but want to deliver my
-
burden that the Lord give us Friday night during the
-
service Acts Chapter number seven will begin in verse number
-
fifty one, Acts seven and fifty one. Which of the
-
prophets have not your father's persecuted? They have slained them,
-
which showed before you the coming of the just One
-
whom you've been. Now the betrayers and murderers go down
-
the verse number fifty four. When they heard these things,
-
they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed him
-
with their teeth.
-
But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up
-
steadfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God and
-
Jesus standing on the right hand of God, verse fifty
-
seven and fifty eight.
-
And they cried with a loud voice. They stopped their ears.
-
And ran upon him with one accord, cast him out
-
of the city, and stoned him. And the witnesses laid
-
down their clothes ring here make a mental note at
-
the young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
-
Went back to fifty one.
-
I think I read the wrong VERSI stiff necked and
-
circumcis and hardened years. You do always resist the Holy Ghost,
-
as your fathers did, so do ye go fact to
-
go to chapter number eight will reverses.
-
One through four.
-
And Saul was consenting unto his death, talking about Stephen.
-
And at that time there.
-
Was great persecution against the Church which was at Jerusalem.
-
They were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea
-
and Samary, except the apostles and devout men carried Stephen
-
to his burial, made great lamentation over him. As for Saul,
-
he made havoc of the church, entering into every house
-
and hailing men and women, committed them to prison. And
-
therefore that they were scattered abroadland everywhere, preaching the word.
-
Persecution couldn't stop the church. Prison couldn't stop the church.
-
The devil couldn't stop the church. Saul couldn't stop the Church.
-
Through chapter number nine the three verses one through eight,
-
and Saul yet breathe out threatenings and slaughter against the
-
disciples of the Lord.
-
He went to the High Priest desired of him letters
-
to Damascus, to the sin of Googue.
-
If he found any of this way, whether they were
-
men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
-
And as he journeyed.
-
He came near Damascus in southern They're shined around about him,
-
alight from heaven, and he fell on the earth and
-
heard a voice saying, unto him, saw Saul, why persecutest
-
thou me?
-
He said, who art thou Lord?
-
And the Lord said, I am Jesus, whom thou persecutest.
-
It is hard for thee to kick against the priest.
-
He trembling and astonished, said Lord, what would thou have
-
me to do?
-
And Lord said, unto him, arise and going to the city,
-
he shall be told thee what thou must do. And
-
the men journey with him stood speechless here, and the
-
voice been seeing no man, and saw arose from the earth.
-
When his eyes were open, he saw no man. But
-
they led him by the hand and brought him up
-
to Mascus. You could be seated in the presence of
-
the Lord. We desire your prayers this this morning. And
-
we know that the author of this book is Luke,
-
and he's He wasn't among the original disciples the Apostles.
-
In fact, Luke was a gentile.
-
At some point in his life, he became converted to Christianity.
-
Later on, he would become a companion of this man's song,
-
who would later be known as Paul.
-
But I asked Brother Roy this morning. Luke gives us
-
the details.
-
He interviewed eye witnesses, and he chronicleized, and he detailed
-
the life and the ministry of Jesus Christ.
-
He gives us one of the Gospels.
-
In fact, it is the largest in volume and context
-
of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. And he
-
also gave us in the account of the early Church
-
and the disciples of the Apostles as they went into
-
the Upper Room and the promise was fulfilled. There was
-
lou that gave us the account of the day of Pentecost.
-
And something else I want to point out that I
-
believe is important is as Loo, the author of.
-
The Beloved Physician.
-
He spoke more about concerning the Holy Ghost than any
-
other author, any other person in the Bible, in the
-
New Testament. He spoke more of the He was intrigued,
-
and he was interested at the moving and the power
-
and the presence of the Holy Ghost.
-
It was Jesus.
-
The Holy Ghost was the driving force behind the life
-
and the ministry of Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost was present,
-
and his birth and his baptism and during his ministry.
-
It is the Holy Ghost that was the driving force.
-
It still is the driving force in the church today.
-
Amen, He said, you don't have.
-
To read too far in the Luke's writings to find him.
-
He is there.
-
He is there upon the birth of Christ. He is
-
there after the ascension. You will read this book here,
-
the Book of Acts. You don't have to read very far.
-
He finding there in Acts chapter one, first number two.
-
The Holy Ghost right Jesus and Terry in Jerusalem, Terry
-
there in the upper room you shall received the promise.
-
And hey, there was a lot of witnesses out there yesterday.
-
That's what he gives us, the Holy Ghost for amen
-
to be his witnesses, to be fearless, to be unashamed,
-
and to be unafraid. They meant to promote Christ and
-
the Gospel, and to live a life of holiness before
-
this lost and dying world. It is the Holy Ghost
-
who is the driving force. And would you agree with
-
me this morning that the church is powerless without the
-
presence and the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
And the churches are.
-
Unable to effectively fulfill the mission and purpose because they
-
like the spiritual strength needed to transform a life and.
-
To spread the continues of the Gospel.
-
And too many churches have a form of godliness, but
-
they deny the power that up to such we are
-
told to turn away. Oh, we can't function without the unction.
-
I can't preach this morning without my help or.
-
Amen, Amen, Amen, and I want to move on this morning,
-
say Luke, the beloved physician brings us this narrative this morning.
-
From our reading, we find that Saul of Tarsus has
-
persecuted the church.
-
He has jill Christians.
-
He has consented even under their death and kill people
-
from the pagina. I mean the church came out of
-
that up perum. I mean the church was crowing. May
-
mean the church was glowing. The church was on fire
-
with the seal age.
-
Man, they were.
-
Peptiles, that's what the holy ghost and fire. And they
-
didn't stay in the upperuma, aymen. But they began to
-
reach out to They began to evangelize.
-
Heymen.
-
They began to witness a man. How they Huya and
-
Judea Samaria. Amen on to the outermost part of the earth, heymen.
-
The gospel spread the art contemn it is spread to
-
our part of the contract. Heymen, the Gospel was pressed
-
and art com eunity yesterday, and we needed the help
-
of the Holy Ghost. The devil doesn't like that, right,
-
Those religious leaders did not appreciate that. Men such as
-
a soul of Torsius, those religious leaders, those scribes.
-
Amen.
-
Again, the church was immediately began to be persecuted. Amen,
-
for their preaching things that were happening, miracles.
-
In their mins, mirror in their communities, miracles in their neighborhoods,
-
and attracted the attention of the religious leaders, and attracted
-
the attention of the devil.
-
And they began to push against the church. But again,
-
persecution will not stop the church. Prison will not stop
-
the church. The pharisees cannot stop the church, but Davil
-
cannot stop the church.
-
Jesus told Peter pull this rock, I'll killed my.
-
Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against him.
-
But he persecuted town, consented, even killed people that were
-
found to be in this way Christians. He persecuted the church,
-
but his persecuted Christ. The truth is he wasn't only
-
fighting against the Church, he was fighting against God. This
-
is Paul, a pharisee of the Pharisee the Hebrew.
-
Oh that he ajuday eyes Er, a man that followed
-
the law to the letter. He felt like, I.
-
Believe brother Azard, that he was doing God's pity. Amen,
-
who grew up at the feet of Tommelio.
-
Right.
-
Amen.
-
And to Cammellio, you remember back in that's chapter number five,
-
he does talk about the account of man A Nasa
-
and so far, y'all bear with me here, heyman, the
-
Lord was pouring in a whole lot of me last night, aymen,
-
as I studied the scriptures, heymember, what did Commalil telled him?
-
You know?
-
He sat on the fence and Pastor.
-
Preached the message on Commealio's guidance. Ain't nobody seconds turning
-
these men?
-
Amen?
-
He said, let them alone. Let's just sit back and
-
let's see what happened. So he talked about a man
-
in Tadeus, he talked about a man in Judas, how
-
their work cake or not.
-
And he said, let these men alone.
-
Unless he be found to fight against God. And Paul
-
was fighting against God. He was fighting against the Church.
-
He wasn't only persecuting God's people, he was persecuting the
-
Lord Jesus Christ and I just want to show you
-
the the measures and and and where where it took.
-
Him, the seal that he had.
-
And.
-
How far it took him.
-
Amen, But you you recalled that there and uh so
-
uh I mentioned that there.
-
But I want I want to move on.
-
But so here chapter nine, we're gonna get to where
-
our text is this morning.
-
Again, I don't want to keep you too long, but
-
we fight Paul.
-
And at this point he saw of Tarsus and he's
-
had a life changing. In counter, he had a head
-
on collision with the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Hey, no, come on now, I remember twenty plus years ago.
-
Amen, on a dead end road, brother Nathaniel, I had
-
a head on collision with Jesus Christ.
-
And the light of the Gospel was preach to me. Amen,
-
the light of the Church reaching, the light of the.
-
Word reaching me.
-
And I had a count Amen to the understanding. And
-
I had to contest the sin that was in my life. Man,
-
God transformed my life. Many of us contestify this morning
-
of the transforming In counter.
-
Amen, And oh praise God.
-
Amen. If you're not saved this morning, Amen, I pray
-
you heaven encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen, that'll
-
transform your life of Amen, retierates your life of Amen.
-
That'll bring you out of that darkness and into the light. Amen,
-
out of the out of the devil's clutches, up and
-
into the arms of the saint or the sport the
-
souls conversing.
-
Very significant because this became the turning point.
-
In his life. And might I say, if he had.
-
Not surrendered to the Lord, it would have been the
-
tipping point in his life. And that may be where
-
somebody is this morning. You're on that, amen, that fine
-
line that teeter tottering.
-
Amen.
-
Liking that brother and mother of the Daniel, I appreciated
-
that teaching that lesson this morning.
-
Amen, you're on that fine line.
-
Between this field and this field, between living for God
-
or living for the devil, or living for yourself and.
-
Your sin and your selful and self lessures. Amen.
-
This could be the tipping point or the turning point, Amen,
-
to the next chapter in your life.
-
Amen. Amen, Amen, let's read it again.
-
And as he turned, he came near Damascus, and suddenly the.
-
Signed around about him a lot from heaven.
-
And he fell to the.
-
Earth, and he heard a voice saying under him that
-
these words were and read, this is Jesus Christ speaking.
-
Amen. The poet saw soul. Why persecute to tell me? Soul?
-
Soul that sow you well? Why?
-
Why?
-
Why? Why are you doing the things that you're doing? Amen?
-
Why are you want decide it?
-
Amen?
-
Why are you ten or toddy?
-
Why are you on the verge of the tarning point
-
on the tipping point this morning? Amen?
-
How Didlujah? Why? Amen? He said, who are the Lord?
-
He acknowledged he was speaking to Colley. He acknowledged that
-
heaven divorce.
-
And he said amen. He said amen.
-
Oh he did not.
-
He did not steer away.
-
And I'm paraphrasing for the heavenly calling that heavenly voice.
-
Aymen. I spoke to him. He said, who are the Lord?
-
And Jesus identifies himself and said, I am Jesus whom
-
now persecute us. It's hard for to eat a kick
-
against the prins. And for a few moments this morning,
-
I want to ask you this question.
-
Are you sick.
-
Of kicking against the pricks? Are you sick of kicking
-
against the pricks? Does anybody know what that means? Kicking
-
against the prince pastor would know? Does anybody brother Rick
-
Jacob might know he said his dad was a farmer,
-
but that means kick against the ox code. Heymen, that
-
was an instrument or a tool that the farmer would
-
use to steer that eye to that animal into the
-
right direction.
-
And then and oft times and sometimes.
-
Amen, that that animal or that ox heman would repel
-
or become disobedient. Aymen, in that one that's in then
-
forty would have to broke him and.
-
Prod that animal to get him going in the right direction.
-
And that's what the Lord's been doing in this revival, Amen, pastors,
-
taking amen the ox code, he's taking the pridge, even
-
the word of good that's prodded you.
-
Even the revivalist stuff.
-
That's prodded you, the Holy ghost that's prought you. And
-
I want to ask you how you're sick of kicking
-
against the prince.
-
It's hard.
-
The way of the transgressor is hard. Come on, can
-
be so much easier if you just let God have
-
his way.
-
It be so much easier on the man of talk,
-
if you just let dog have.
-
His way, and be so much easier on the pastor,
-
if you just.
-
Let God have his way. Amen, it prays talk.
-
How they losing.
-
Amen.
-
Oh, they use this tool to steer that animal in
-
the right direction. Saw, And I want to speak to
-
a soul, and it is hard.
-
For thee to kick against the pricks.
-
Heymen, Saw, sir, or man, whoever I'm preaching to, I'm
-
just morning huh. Amen, you've been kicking against the pricks.
-
You've been stubbornly fighting against something.
-
Now let me say you've.
-
Been fighting against someone, amen, who never changes, who hasn't
-
changed his fade, who has it change.
-
His way and what he requires of your life.
-
Amen, you even found to be fighting against him.
-
And you're fighting will be unsuccessful.
-
You know why the Outreage was successful as a church
-
because we were fighting for God and we weren't fighting
-
against God.
-
Man.
-
And the more you resist, I said, the more you resist,
-
the more you resist, the more you repel, the more
-
you repel, the more you catch.
-
Amen.
-
Stephen declared to those religious leaders as he made his defense.
-
Amen, he said, you still that.
-
And uncircumcised heart, brother, the than you're talking about the
-
feeling of the heart this morning, Amen, he said, you
-
uncircumcised of the heart.
-
And heres have we been hearing what the spirit's been saying? Amen.
-
To the church. Amen.
-
He said, you always resist the Holy coast as your
-
fathers did, So do ye. And if you keep kicking
-
against God's will, if you keep resisting God's playing, you're
-
only causing.
-
Hurt and more harm. Amen to yourself.
-
That's what would happen when that as to that animal,
-
that peace would kick against the prig, the priding Amen,
-
the person. Amen, that's in authority. You're only hurting yourself.
-
And that not only fact. You're hurting those around you.
-
You're hurting your family, You're hurting the churchs Amen, You're
-
hurting God.
-
Amen. Oh God, it'll cause you pain or trouble until
-
you get sick of it. Amen.
-
And so I'll hear that and that Sunday school lesson. Heymen,
-
I knew it got dealt with my heart. Heymen in
-
that service Friday night. Hey man, brother, the thing you
-
broke that hand about them terrors, it'll make you nauseous,
-
it will make you sick. Are you sick of sewing
-
the devil seeds? Are you sick of sewing the seeds
-
of Satan? The seeds have man gott appeal the south? Heymen,
-
the seeds of sin?
-
Are you sick?
-
Of it. Are you sick?
-
I'm kicking against the prince. God has dealt with you
-
in this revival. God has made it cleaner. God has
-
made it so crystal clear. God has made it so plain.
-
And some of you have even said, I know what
-
God wants me to do. Why don't you just do?
-
As a preacher of yesterday and his pastor and said
-
so many times, what God wants you to do. I
-
could be preaching to my kids this morning, I could
-
be talking to my sons, I could be talking to
-
my daughter.
-
Amen.
-
But God has dealt with you. Hey man, You're just
-
like Soul or Paul at this point. You're just like
-
that animal that ox kicking against the gold. The Bible
-
said he didn't know what to do. Good and do
-
it and no amen to him and his sin. Heymen,
-
it's hard, Amen, I said again.
-
I'll say it again the way of the transgressor. It's hard.
-
It's hard for them to kick against the prince. Why
-
are you sick? I'm kicking against the Prince? Are you
-
sick and tired of it?
-
Hey man?
-
Are you sick and tired by the way you've been living?
-
Why are you sick and tired?
-
I'm going against the word of God. Why are you singing?
-
Tired?
-
I'm resistant Spirit of God?
-
Are you weary?
-
Are you exhausted? Oh? Come on now and been the
-
invitations still clear?
-
Come on to me all you got labored and have
-
me laden and I'll give you rest.
-
Tell you why are your compon you? And learning me cry?
-
Making lonely of heart? And you'll find rest for your souls.
-
Are you well?
-
Are you tired?
-
Have been sin? It is a hard test, mass, Satan
-
is a hard doing. It's your way. You'll get harder
-
and harder and heart.
-
Of us all amen. He had to come off that
-
high horse, heymen, Tall Saul became small Paul Amen. And
-
he's surrendered to God. And that's what you need to do.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
Why don't you just do it?
-
Amen? I want to hurt you this morning, heymen, I
-
come for the perdent. He ain't gonna try not to
-
precate much longer. Amen. But I heard what the Lord
-
said to his prophet, I heard what he said to
-
his servant. I heard what he said to the man
-
of talk.
-
Heymen, do you sence the urgency this morning? Do you
-
know that it's an emergency?
-
This morning. Six months, six months, six months, that's not
-
a lot.
-
Of time, Amen, I need this helps.
-
Stop fighting against God's leading, stop fighting against pastors leading,
-
stop fighting against the Holy coast.
-
To leave this morning.
-
It's only gonna cost you again. And how there's your family? Hey?
-
Man, Just more frustration, more pain, more heartship, more distress,
-
I said, more distress?
-
How plain?
-
That's a preacher need to preach? How plain? Does God
-
need to speak?
-
Hey?
-
Before you to.
-
Kit it through your head, and not only in.
-
Your head, but get it in your heart and your
-
spirit and your soul this morning. Submit to God's plan
-
for your life. Plant yourself in that field, Amen, Stay
-
in that field. Submit to God's plan for your life.
-
Fully submit, fully surrender.
-
Yourself to come be like the apostle Paul.
-
Heymen, Hey, he said, Lord, Well without having to do
-
But you said Lord, or you.
-
Told us, I know what the Lord wants me to do?
-
Oh God? Amen? Amen. In the truth of the matter
-
is is that you know? Amen?
-
You know Amen, acknowledge God's authority, acknowledge or spiritual thory.
-
I acknowledge that.
-
Man, there, you know what the Holy Goess told us
-
a couple of years ago. Knowledge the shepherd. I said,
-
over you, you shall prevail, you shall You're not gonna
-
prosper kicking against the prince. You'll not prevailed, kick.
-
Against the pricks. Amen.
-
I'll come on now, you wanna lose, I'm telling you
-
it will be unsuccessful.
-
Amen. Amen? Is it fixed? How will it be fine?
-
Amen?
-
How much more preaching? Come on now? And I thank
-
God the revival has fixed. I thank God for what
-
he's done so far. I'm looking forward to what he's
-
gonna do. Heymen.
-
Well come on now, hey man, But I'm telling you
-
what and you gonna Is he gonna be fixed today?
-
Will it be fixed soon?
-
Or is he gonna be fine?
-
I said six months. There's not a lot of time. Amen.
-
Solar Paul had a choice again the turning point, on
-
the tipping point of his life the church. This is
-
what the Lord spoke to me last night as I
-
tried to go to sleep, and he wouldn't leave me alone.
-
I don't know how heymen, the man God feels sometimes.
-
Amen.
-
As he began to keep stirring on my heart.
-
The truth of the matter is the Church's.
-
Going on with or without the apostle Paul or at
-
that time it's all of Tarsus Deathol's.
-
Going on with or without you.
-
All right?
-
But that right? He just chaling?
-
Hey man, how do I know you jowing up with
-
the people of time, jowing up with Team Jesus, jowing
-
up with your brothers and sisters. Come on, hey man,
-
Let's conquer even more territory. Let's bread the Hospel and
-
rich more souls for God.
-
Amen. Right, ay, Amen, fright is futile.
-
It's partners to resist God, to resist the Holy goes.
-
To resist this fear.
-
Hey man.
-
That's hey man.
-
That's what Stephen did. He was stone for it. He
-
was the first martyr of the church. Amen. It's few
-
tile resist the message, to resist the word of God
-
and resist his messengers.
-
And I prefer my brother this morning. I prefer my pastor.
-
And I feel like Paul said this, I be least
-
among you this morning. Hey Remember, it's pointless to fight
-
against God. Hey man, are you sick of kicking it
-
against the pricks, Because the truth is you'll be unsuccessful.
-
You cannot win.
-
Amen. You will not win, We will not succeed.
-
You will lose.
-
You'll lose your soul. What is the prophet of man
-
and this it game the whole world and lose its
-
own soul.
-
Why what shall a man give.
-
And exchange for a soul?
-
Soul? Soul? Soul soul.
-
It's hard you kick against the breeze. I've heard people speaking.
-
I've heard it for years, and I don't misunderstanding. I
-
understand what their intentions were. I understood what they were saying.
-
But they said things like the.
-
Preacher stepped on my toes. Remember that, you ever I
-
said it? I said it. I've said things like, thank god,
-
he stepped on my toes. He stepped on my toes.
-
I'll climb a little higher, right, That's what they said.
-
I heard him say it for years. But this is
-
deeper than that. Yeah, I don't. I don't want the
-
preachers just to step on my toes. I want the dagger, right, Oh,
-
I want change. That's what I decide. It's our change.
-
And one day have a toad stepped on.
-
A clamp out, only to fall again.
-
Now I needed the word of cod who pierce my
-
heart and break my heart.
-
I thank god he took the toad, and he took
-
the dagger.
-
Andy man, he touched my soul. Amen, Oh god, aymen,
-
it's deeper than that, the dagon of Saul, that spear. Heymen,
-
the men of come have un seen the heymen, it's
-
going forth. And then it's proud of you, and it's
-
poked to and has pierced to you.
-
Amen, Are you sick of kicking against the prince? These preachers,
-
this pastor, this revivalist has poked and proughted you again
-
and again and again the dagger has pierced your spirit?
-
Do you desire the dirt or do you desire the dirt? Amen?
-
Which is it?
-
The choice is your friendly. But whatever's causing you to resist,
-
and whatever is causing the resistance, whatever is causing the hindreds.
-
I told Brother Sam this morning. I appreciated what he
-
said and the service the other night. Heymen, whatever that
-
way is, whatever that sin is.
-
There does so easily, God so easily done so easily.
-
But sax you, Hey, let's say get it out of
-
the way, Let's get.
-
It out of the blood.
-
Maybe I'm staying in the right way now the Bible,
-
I said that every Bible.
-
Are you struggling with habitual sin? Are you struggle with
-
persistent sin? Are you constantly going against the man of
-
God to God's instructions, even though it hurts you, even
-
though it's cost you so much pain. Just like that,
-
Odds is constantly kicking against the code. You're resistance of
-
God's will. All the results in further pain, further trouble,
-
and further frustration. But God wants to guide you. The
-
Man of God wants to lead you. The Good Sipper
-
wants to got you. He wants to steer you. Heymen,
-
hey man, the Holy coast, that's what he is giving.
-
He gots us and all truth he leads us. And God,
-
we need to be led of the spirit. Amen. Amen,
-
you won't fulfill the less of the flesh. Amen, you
-
won't get a come on Amen. The truth won't hurt you, aymen,
-
because you're not kicking against it.
-
Amen. You're going with it. Amen. You're going with them, heymen,
-
You're gonna with the plowing.
-
You're going with the man of todd as he tills
-
the road, Amen, like he's supposed to do. Amen. And
-
you just need to let go of your stubbornness and
-
allow him to lead you on the right path. And man,
-
the Bible said he led him in the right way.
-
And I remember that Vessus preach. Amen, I believe it.
-
Was on the first night. Amen. The Psawa said, Amen,
-
look on that account, and God let.
-
Him in the right way, Amen, and maybe the long road,
-
but thank Todd, it's not the wrong road.
-
Amen.
-
Whea.
-
Amen, let's get it out of the way, get it
-
and get rid of that hindrance. Get rid of that sin,
-
get rid of that way.
-
Amen. That's go on the revival.
-
Amen.
-
But friend Saul was on the wrong road. He was
-
going there. He thought he was on the right road.
-
He really thought he was doing something for God. But
-
he found out that he was fighting a tense God.
-
Proverb fifteen in ten says, correction is grievous unto him
-
that forsaken the way.
-
Correction is grievous with the him. Did you shut off
-
the radio?
-
Did you tune out to the.
-
Teacher this morning?
-
Have you been tuning out the preacher and the pastor
-
during this revival? Have you been tuning out the voice
-
of the Lord. They stopped their ears. They stopped their ears,
-
and they nasty with their teeth. It tied up to
-
the heart.
-
I sent a counter to the heart.
-
Soul was there.
-
He's kinding to the heart.
-
I have to believe Thomas dealing.
-
With you, every every Christian. He arrested every son.
-
Of come now, he took in every child. Then he robbed.
-
Another mom and dad. I have to believe that he
-
dropped us to the pouting and the prodding of the gold.
-
Amen.
-
They murdered a man of God. I believe it had
-
messed with his mind, had pierced hi minnesoul. I believe
-
the devil used that against the nervous ministry. I don't
-
want God to leave me alone here.
-
I don't want you.
-
I wanted to poke it and prod my family. Yes,
-
I don't want nobody to go to hell.
-
Correction is grievous in him that forsaketh the way. But
-
he that hated and hate that hated reproove. And you
-
need to go back to he Sunday School lesson is
-
is is archive?
-
Amen.
-
You need to hear what the man of God said
-
this morning. You need to hear what the teacher said.
-
You need to hear what the holy ghost said this morning.
-
Hey man, you need to hear it. And I'm nothing
-
this morning.
-
Heymen, you need to hear what this preacher saying this morning,
-
because this is what God dealt with me. Are you
-
sick of the rich? Are you sick of kicking against
-
the pricks? And then correction is grievous and in the
-
forsaken the way, and.
-
He didn't hated the reproof shall die.
-
The refusal to follow God's will results and forsaking God's way.
-
Amen.
-
I said, the refusal to follow God's will were resulting
-
forsaking God's way.
-
Even the forsaken way can't become the fatal way.
-
I said that forsaken way will become the fatal way.
-
Amen, sin when it's finished.
-
Bringing forth death, God is sweaking. I'm not speaking, God
-
is speaking to us. I'm telling you what this safe
-
defact way, this holiness way, it's a safe way.
-
I like that sign. Brother, stare at the sanctuary of
-
the church.
-
It's a safe place. That's why it's called a sanctuary.
-
The name of Jesus is a safe place. Amen, hellylujah.
-
But when you choose not to go in the way
-
that is safe, your steps will lead the loss. And
-
again it's a losing battle. And that's what the Lord
-
setting a saul. And it's hard for thee to kick
-
against the crags. Amen, he's fighting a losing battle, but
-
he surrenders. He realizes it and he surrenders.
-
And that's what we need to do. We need submit
-
ourselves under the mighty head of coming. Amen. We need
-
to amen, resist the devil and he'll flee from us.
-
All come on, and he ain't gonna let us alone. Amen.
-
But we need a surrender. Amen.
-
Jesus took control of Saul's life after he surrendered. I
-
want to say it again, Saul surrendered, Amen, And the
-
question is are you ready for a surrender?
-
Are you ready for a change? He sing that song?
-
Wonn't you just wave that white flap of the surrender? Amen?
-
He believe that they're talking about he'sing that trouble mine,
-
that he washed your sins away. Come on now, amen.
-
Are you sick and tired of it?
-
Amen? Are you exhausted?
-
Are you weary?
-
Are you irritating? I'll come on now.
-
Are you irritating every time that you kick against the code?
-
Are you irritating every time you go against the word?
-
Are you irritating every time? Are you frustrated? Are you exhausting?
-
Are you tired of the pain? Sister, I was a
-
drug addict. I got tired of the pain. My God
-
Right had frustrated.
-
I was getting nowhere, holds on a dead end, moved,
-
how come on sol haymen, Hey, how are you exhaucer?
-
Are you tired?
-
Are you ready? Except as women?
-
Heymen?
-
Are you gonna let him have his way today? Amen?
-
It's useless resistance. Amen. I say it again. It's useless resistance. Amen.
-
It's a losing battle. Heymen, I feel the sneir of
-
God here.
-
Amen. It's useless resistance. You must be like Sault and
-
surrender all this morning. And when Saul surrendered.
-
All, he became the great Apostle Paul Louke, who wrote
-
this book, that beloved physician who gave his heart and
-
the surrendered his will, surrendered his occupation.
-
Amen, left his feeling. Amen.
-
He joined up with this man called Paul Right, this
-
man called Paul who considered under that man Stephen's death.
-
Amen, who Stephen said, you do all this?
-
Resist the hall man who preaks to them and the
-
words cutting to their heart and end of their life.
-
Amen. I'm connecting the dots this morning, Amen, that beloved
-
position Luke.
-
Amen, he can become a companion of the great Apostle
-
Paul of the Apostle Paul. Heymen, surrendered his life to God.
-
We've heard him many times from the Man of God
-
and from our pastor. But I keep repeating, I love
-
everything I've learned from this man and everything he's taught me,
-
everything that he spoke, every counsel, everything that he's directed
-
toward my family, this church.
-
Amen. But he said, Amen, the greatest.
-
Persecutor, the church is great persecuted, Jesus's greatest persecuted. Heyman,
-
he went only persecuting the church. He was persecuting Jesus.
-
Amen. Amen, you're persecuting me. Amen. That's what he said. Amen.
-
But the Church is Christ.
-
Greatest persecutor is now Christ. And the Church's greatest promoter
-
and greatest preacher, hey greatest, Amen, greatest church planner.
-
Amen.
-
All those churches and the ones who repince there, the
-
Sunday School, lad, the Book of Galatians and Corinthians, all
-
their churches.
-
He went out to the He preached Christ to the genties. Amen.
-
He became a soul minner for God. Amen.
-
He expanded the territory for the Kingdom of God. All
-
because He's surrendered. He wrote over half of the New Testament.
-
Amen. Praised God.
-
Amen, he got sick and tired of kicking against the pricks?
-
Are you tired, amen, kicking against the pricks? And I
-
do feel and the convicting power hom the spirit of Tom.
-
This morning I feeling drawing, Amen, I feel Christ drawing.
-
Heyn the good Shepherd said Amen. He said, if I
-
be lifted up, I'll draw.
-
Under me. Are you sick of it?
-
Are you tired of it?
-
Yea, as those tears made you sick, man the tops
-
of tears. Are you tired of.
-
Sowing the sinful pleasures so into selfish desires? Are you
-
tired of sowing savan seeds? As what the Lord give you?
-
This morning? Out of Sunday school lesson? Do you sense
-
the urgency? Will you come? Will you come?
-
The preacher, the pastor from yesteryear, the wanted man of
-
God in my life?
-
One of two, He said, he heard the preacher.
-
This.
-
I know his ears and throat.
-
Doctor, I remember a message pastor preacher by over eight
-
years ago.
-
We first got here, and I'm glad we made it.
-
I'm glad we're making it.
-
It's been by his leading, his help has been Ah
-
the Lord again, I'm thankful.
-
But they sang that song, twas best for him to
-
have his way with thee. His power can make you
-
what you ought to be. His blood can cleanse your heart,
-
can make you free. His look will fill your soul,
-
and he'll see it was best for him to have.
-
His way with thee.
-
Will you stop kicking? Are you tired of kicking? If
-
you'll stand this morning, somebody get us a saw. This
-
will be the all two called this morning again. Six
-
months is not a long time. If it's the Lord's will,
-
three more days of revival, it'll be gone before we
-
know it. But let's get whatevers causing us to get
-
out of the way. Let's get that out of the way.
-
Let's let him have his way. Let the Holy ghost
-
have his way. This morning he spoke to you. I'm
-
sorry if I took too much time this morning.
-
He came with a burden.
-
I picked up a shoe at the thrift store the
-
other day, and I didn't realize this old had fell
-
off of it. Don't lose your souls. You're starting to
-
see it now. I didn't see it that way. I
-
didn't realized the soul had fell off of him. Sometimes
-
they don't realize the souls fell out of the service.
-
They talked about you.
-
Because I can't come up with a silver mom. I'm
-
just trying to remind you what the Lord's dealt with
-
us this week. I didn't realize that soul had fell
-
off that shoe, and I grabbed it to show it
-
to somebody to find the size, and.
-
It poked me in the pain.
-
It was full of nails. It pricked my hurt a
-
little tiny man. That's how I know the Lord was in.
-
I stopped by the thirst store. I said, I'll find
-
a stick.
-
I'm gonna have to have Josh do something, do some
-
work at the house, and said, Josh, I need you
-
to make me something.
-
I went to the store and I found this cane
-
and I had a ten birred. All I had to
-
do was put script. I've got my.
-
Govern but I didn't really need this this morning. I
-
needed to preach this this morning, and that's how we're
-
gonna win. That's how we're gonna reach him. But it hurt?
-
Does it hurt?
-
Does it hurt? Are you past feeling rights, your consence
-
being seeing?
-
Or is it being pricked as long as he can
-
prick it, as long as it hurts you can feel you,
-
can I feel him? And I want us to make
-
our way to the altar this morning. I want somebody
-
to give him.
