Previous God, y'all don't even know. Y'all don't even know how.
-
Don't love God?
-
Pastor not only lay the foundation, I think he hit
-
the person. Save the floor, sister.
-
Now of that last song, Nah, God and heaven moremation.
-
We're just God. God's good. I know better, Thank good.
-
God is wonderful, without a doubt, without a doubt, how
-
m Floyd. We'll go to uh John chapter thirteen, I
-
mean two verses, and hopefully with these two verses you
-
will understand.
-
Exactly why Chapter thirteen John at verse twenty three, now
-
there was.
-
Leaning on Jesus Bosom, one of his disciples. From Jesus loved.
-
And then we'll skipped down the verse thirty. He then,
-
having received the sow, went immediately.
-
Out and it was not I could just about tell
-
you we're done. God just preached basically.
-
What I had.
-
Last bread, goddy, lot of good less blessed are years
-
that God or the journey.
-
When your story takes a man. Professor told me i'd
-
be here this morning. I went back through. I I
-
got a little notebook, and.
-
Throughout the service you may see me writing stuff in
-
there every now and then, sometimes the one liners, sometimes.
-
To say it's a little bit more, a little bit less.
-
I had written something down. I believe it was during
-
the first week of the revivals, and I actually had
-
the thought I wanna say. It was that Thursday before
-
we went into revival fire Forest, me and sister.
-
Would and this came to me. And this is my title,
-
leaning in or leaving right?
-
Master already priest it I mean, are you gonna be
-
like John the Beloved.
-
Or Jesus?
-
There's no middle ground, none right, and we already know
-
God doesn't abandon his children. No greater friends you'll find that.
-
That was confirmation right there. You can search this whole
-
world over.
-
You can stay out in the world, you can love
-
the world Demus, you can run out.
-
To the world Jesus. You can do what you wanna do.
-
But no greater friends will find Jesus is the only
-
true friend. It doesn't matter circumstances.
-
That that was in my nose. We've seen Pastor, we've
-
seen our first lady.
-
They've went through things, affliction after affliction after affliction after affliction,
-
death of a grand baby, kidneys that are in trouble,
-
cancer on their son.
-
We've seen it, and we saw their example where they
-
got a tighter grip on God, closer, they said, Lord,
-
grabbed your arms around me, even tighter.
-
They will say, no, no, if I was true to
-
your son, if.
-
I was truly your daughter, if I was truly faulled,
-
Why are why these afflictions?
-
Why did the devil get me? Why did he do
-
this to because Joe? Why did you lose your children? Joe?
-
I don't know. But unless it be the name of
-
the wolf, you lost all your cattle, you lost all
-
your sheep, you lost all this. You lost your wife's favor.
-
I know I did. But God sure as good, ain't he?
-
God sure is great?
-
Isn't He's sure as wonderful, isn't he?
-
How can you say that job you're in the ashphile,
-
you're scraping boiled?
-
How can you say that? How can I not? How
-
can I not say that.
-
God sets on high No matter my circumstances, God sets
-
on high.
-
Does food in the pantry make God more God? I
-
don't see that it does. God is God.
-
We have the same opportunity to lean on Jesus, the
-
same opportunity.
-
Great, But it's me I could have resisted. I'm so
-
glad I didn't, but I could have. I hate to
-
say this, but I think some of us.
-
In here have.
-
That hand has been extended. You're too fault. Your house
-
right outside my hand reached. Wouldn't it feel better? Wouldn't
-
it feel better in my embrace? Wouldn't it feel better
-
being close? Wouldn't it feel better knowing that I really
-
am your father, That it's not just something you've read
-
in my word, knowing it as a relationship, as a.
-
An actuality, not just a thought, not just an idea,
-
but something that we know.
-
That we know, that we know.
-
I read so many, so many scriptures that it was.
-
It was amazing. It was just wonderful.
-
And the sob my Bible says, or on my ees says,
-
there was a morsel of food, bread, bread, alright, straight
-
from the bread of light.
-
Came to me yesterday. It was his last mouthful from
-
the last was Wednesday night. Your last mouthful was Wednesday night.
-
That final reach, friend, my servant.
-
Daughter, son. And it's not a statement, Unfortunately, there's a
-
question mark a friend.
-
Only we can make that determination. Only we can say yes, friend,
-
I do son, that's me right here.
-
Daughter loves to be never will will be a better thing.
-
To be in my life, to be a son or
-
a daughter of the Almighty call absolutely abs.
-
I can't leave.
-
Because it says and it was not.
-
If I leave, it's dark out there. If I leave,
-
what is out there in the dark? If I leave,
-
how do I get back? What if there is no
-
getting back? Judah never made it back. All he felt
-
was condemnation. The conviction had already passed. He already overwrote conviction.
-
He'd already said, that's not my Plan's Lord, I want
-
you to do this because I want this position. I
-
want this authority. I want Romans to be cast aside.
-
It's time for us, the Hebrews, the Jewish people to
-
be in control again. That's why you came. And she said, no,
-
that's not why I came this time.
-
You're confused. You're putting your words in my mouth and
-
they don't fit. My words will fit in your mouth,
-
but our words won't fit in his right God didn't
-
say that.
-
I better rip that report up, better put.
-
It a sign. That's not a God step back. You
-
better make sure make your call, and you're a le
-
sure walking the fringes of obedience won't be You can
-
walk around obedience all you want to till you get
-
in it. In it is, where it's at, walking around it,
-
looking at it, thinking about it, tapping it, smelling of it,
-
looking at it.
-
Oh wow, that that obedience looks like that could be
-
what I need? That could man? Who that could be it?
-
That could be it? And the whole time our heart knows,
-
our heart knows that is it. It's not might be,
-
not could be here, No, it should be.
-
And if we really love God, it shall be. When
-
we move past us, move past me, move into him.
-
From his dear side, I will never depart. I didn't
-
even realize at first what we were singing, and then
-
it came by again, and I was like, well, I did.
-
Ask Lord that one of the songs would confirm. I
-
shouldn't have had to, but this is you.
-
Can forgive us the first time, forgive me. Maybe next
-
time I won't be like please, but I may. You
-
know he understands its gracious to honor us, because it
-
was with my whole heart. I was honestly as Lord, please,
-
because I know if if you don't, I'll read this,
-
I'll read that, I'll say I'm sorry, Pastor, and I'll
-
go sit down I won't prolong it, try not to, but.
-
That's so confirmed again.
-
And then when Jesse gets up and talks about looking
-
for that friend in search of the world over, and
-
we found him in Jesus Christ. Yes we have. And
-
the pastor lays that beautiful, beautiful foundation, and then he
-
frames up the first and second.
-
Floor and all I gotta does is put a roof
-
on it, and we're done. We can go home, and
-
we can or we go Fells Tall and Eden. It's
-
amazing to me that God is. He is really so wonderful, and.
-
Just because he sends the pastor to paddle me sometimes
-
doesn't mean that he's any less wonderful. We honored the
-
Bible says, we honored our mom and dads whenever they
-
whooped us, because there was a loyal prophet.
-
It kept us from doing something stupid throwing down the road.
-
And he's the same with God. God paddles us so
-
we don't do something stupid far down road, so we
-
don't throw.
-
Out something careless, so we don't hinder that new growth,
-
so we don't lop off the branch that.
-
Was just about the bug. And here we come gap
-
the gap, the gap and cut it right off. And
-
now now we're in trouble. So we take that direction.
-
We say, thank you that you love me enough to
-
correct me.
-
Thank you that you're steering me back into your perfect will,
-
but to your perfect way.
-
Thank you. I will run to you. I will let
-
you comfort me now that you've done what you needed
-
to do. I'll let you comfort me.
-
Because he will if you'll turn to him with repentance,
-
with your whole heart, if you'll seek him with everything
-
you promise, he said, if you've drawn out, drawn out
-
of God, and he will draw nigh into you. Cleanse
-
your hands, sinners.
-
There's something for us to do.
-
We let go of this world so we can grab
-
a hold of God. We can't hold both. How many
-
times have we been told that you can't hold both?
-
You love God or you love the world. You love
-
the things of God, the people of God. You'll love
-
the things of the world, the people of the world
-
right already mentioned demons.
-
That's why he left you love this present world?
-
Why? Because he could still see the world because he
-
was too far from God. If you're right up on God,
-
guess what you see God? If you right up on him,
-
that's all you see. Is God. That's why you magnify him.
-
Him close, not that he needs to be bigger, because
-
he's big enough. He's almighty, he is everything. But we
-
need him bigger in our life. We do to magnify.
-
We bring him closer, We draw him in so that
-
we can see.
-
All his beauty, all his perfection, all of his holiness,
-
all of his righteousness.
-
And then we allow that closeness and that close inspection
-
be turned inward to us so that we look like him.
-
So when the world turns to us, I don't see
-
any brother Samuel there.
-
All I see is Oh. I see is Jesus. All
-
I see is Christ. I don't see any brother Jonathan there.
-
All I say is that that's just God. That's just
-
God right there. We God, we have that ability root
-
him to do that.
-
Actor has said this many times. I feel like that's
-
probably where this came from. If we leave, or we
-
don't decide that OUs plans are our plans, We're.
-
Not gonna get the thought.
-
Judas, go right ahead and hang yourself, Matthias right outside
-
the door. A month later, if I if I, if
-
my timeline is correct, within the month, Matthew said, I'm
-
number twelfth.
-
Where are we going, Peter, what.
-
We're gonna do?
-
Upper room? I'm game for it. Let's do it. He
-
didn't want his busy week. I'll take you that. He
-
didn't want the.
-
Cut me right here.
-
He didn't want his anyone you called him to do. Lord,
-
that's okay. Now, will we volunteer?
-
I'll do it because the benefits, my God in Heaven,
-
the benefits outweigh everything else. Outweigh the sting of the discipline,
-
outweigh the the correction, outweigh everything.
-
That life rose out is the afflictions the benefits. You
-
can't even put them in a balance together. You'll break
-
your balance lamp straight down with benefits every time.
-
So what this stuffing comes your way, guess what it'll
-
come your way, whether you're under God's arm or not
-
hurt yesterday. Matter of fact, that you know everybody probably
-
he knows him. I won't say his name, but he.
-
Owns a local business here in town. I heard he
-
had cancer see him here.
-
I know we're not the only holdness church in America, right,
-
but we're the best one in Florida that I know.
-
Challenge me if you want, but I firmly believe this
-
is where God moves. That's why we moved Ilujah. But
-
this man in the world, he's got answer. Being out
-
there under the devil's thumb didn't keep him from it.
-
More often than not, if you'll be honest with yourself,
-
being out there in the world, more apt to get
-
it to him, you're more apt to get scars.
-
You're more apt to get afflictions.
-
You're more apt to get the worst of the worst
-
out there in the night, in the inside, in the light,
-
in his arms than Gosh, afflictions have to flee. Disease
-
is conquered, cancer is cast out because we're in his arms,
-
and his arms is perfect.
-
Fullness of joy. Think thy presence is fullness of joy.
-
At thy right hand, there are pleasures Forevermore realize that
-
was a scripture that was in.
-
My nose here, and it's got.
-
To be.
-
All or nothing. We have to sell out or it
-
will be a sellout. Either or it.
-
It's either black or it's white. It's either light or
-
it's darkness. You can't stand in the middle. There is
-
no middle ground between.
-
Light and dark. It's either one or the other. As
-
Joshua said, choose you this day. Could we say, with
-
perfect clarity, why did you choose five.
-
Years ago, four and a half or whatever it may be,
-
however long you've been wavering wine?
-
Why the waiver? Why the wobble? Why the waiver? Take
-
an honest look at your life?
-
Right?
-
Are you not better here?
-
Yes?
-
Under our pastor's leadership? Are you not better? Is this
-
not the better life? Why?
-
Waiver?
-
Has he? Ever? I don't know a single time the
-
pastors just steered his wife. I don't know the.
-
Single directive he's told me to do that. It didn't
-
end the blessings? Why why back away?
-
Why why put distance? You ever tried to hug somebody
-
from across the room. But that's.
-
That's how people treat God. I'm gonna give you an
-
air hug. God, give you an air hand shake God?
-
Really really that.
-
That's Try that with your wife. Try telling her I'm
-
gonna give you an air kiss. Ye see how many
-
days that works out for you? Probably not many, even
-
if she is saftified. But but we want to say
-
that that's okay with God. We wanna says it's fine,
-
it's fine. I I just air hug you Lord from
-
me from my house. You'll air hug me from your house.
-
I I thought, this said come to my house, adoration.
-
I thought, I said, come to my place to give
-
me love, to get into my presence.
-
I thought, I know, believe me, I know, thank God. Right,
-
I have never had such a wonderful time on the
-
road Thursday and Friday.
-
I can tell you what.
-
It it was.
-
It was wonderful, glorious, right. And I know we can
-
have those wonderful times, yes, right, But the command is
-
go to my house and meet with me at this location. Yes,
-
and either we trust his word or we don't.
-
We lean into him at all times in all seasons,
-
or eventually we leave him. I never heard somebody during
-
that I think it's during the revival, was talking about
-
their experience with the baptism.
-
They got to the place where it was just them gone.
-
Everything else had faded away.
-
There could have been a hundred people in the room,
-
could have been two thousand in the room, could have.
-
Been BOMs going off outside of the room. It didn't matter.
-
That got to that place where they were fully embracing.
-
I think I didn't think that that would have been
-
to during this.
-
Because it's between two people and their hearts should be
-
as one if your heart is not with his heart,
-
eventually your feet we go in the wrong direction. They
-
say so many times that we prop up.
-
On our religion. Yes, that's what he's for, that's why
-
he came so we can lean on him, so we
-
could draw strict from him. Cause he's the Almighty. He's
-
the strong one, stronger than the strong man. That's him.
-
I know we've got several here that used Kames, Walkers
-
and whatnot. If you leave him in the car, they
-
don't have to cross the parking lote.
-
Do you lean on in the corner and.
-
Try to walk out that they don't help you any
-
If you leave your Bible up on the shelf, they
-
don't have pity. If you don't lean on the altar
-
and pray, the offer doesn't help you. An if you
-
don't come to a house God where the word is preached.
-
Pastor doesn't help you unless you let him speak into
-
your life. You get no help from me where the
-
road cap even helped me out this morning. So on
-
the Sunday school set to your bide in the mind.
-
Except it's only one way.
-
A preaching. The people that know.
-
That have felt his pastor so wondrously could it this
-
morning that have felt the brush of the annoyance?
-
They felt it?
-
Why would you not want to feel more? He's never
-
done me anything but good. Don't you wanna feel more
-
than just.
-
A brush right? Don't you wanna feel more than just
-
one brush stroke? Don't you wanna feel good? It went
-
all the way down and down. I gonna lose you
-
and down to be lifted up higher and higher? Don't
-
you want that? Doesn't your heart long for that?
-
When you see the saints lost in the presence of
-
Almighty God, doesn't your heart's in If only I remember
-
Brother Phillips testimony, I wanna shout, I wanna get lost?
-
God did it wondrously?
-
Did it?
-
Just because he's son of a pastor?
-
That puts in at no higher standard than any other
-
blood bought believer. We all have the same access.
-
Some of us just close the door in front of ourselves, right,
-
and then we cry and beat on the I wish
-
I could well open the door. You're the one that
-
shut it. You're the one that locked it. This is
-
the pathway.
-
It's been set before you, it's been preached to you.
-
It's been all but Halloweenah beatn to your thick skull Halloween.
-
I say that with above, I really do. My school
-
is pretty thick too. If you'll remember, oh, you know, mean,
-
how many times pain or ask me?
-
Is it not?
-
But his grace, I am where I am. And by
-
his grace you can open that door. You can holler
-
to the top.
-
Of your lungs, you can shout the voice and the
-
shout of triumph, and you can pass through that doorway
-
deeper and deeper.
-
And I'm gonna close with that. That all I know
-
to tell you. Just lean into it. Just lean into it.
-
The everlasting arms will not let you go. And if
-
you somehow collapse, you'll catch you when the play collapses.
-
It was all my hands always. Let's then raise your
-
hands towards Heaven. Thank God for the message from the messenger.
