  1. Brother Nathaniel, would you read our first code text Psalm

  2. chapter number thirty four and verse number eight.

  3. Old taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed

  4. is the man that trusteth in him.

  5. Hey man, how many of you have tasted and saw

  6. that the Lord is good?

  7. Without a doubt? He is good, He is still sweet.

  8. I know, Brother Jesse, First Samuel, chapter number fourteen and verse.

  9. Number twenty seven.

  10. Please, brother, but Jonathan hear not when his father charged

  11. the people with the oath, wherefore he put forth the

  12. end of the rod that was in his hand, and

  13. dipped it in an honeycomb, and put it in and

  14. put his hand to his mouth, and his eyes were enlightened.

  15. That code text is speaking of an experience that the

  16. best friend of David had praise the Lord.

  17. Let's stand for.

  18. The reading of our golden text again, directing your attention

  19. to Psalm Champion number nineteen, verse number ten. The Bible says,

  20. more to be desired are they than gold? Yea than

  21. much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the honey. Come,

  22. Heavenly Father, we think and we praise you for the

  23. opportunity to be in your house today.

  24. We thank you for this thy people.

  25. God, I pray that you would set a guard at

  26. their ears and help them to hear look the screed

  27. of God, says O than the church today this morning,

  28. this Sunday morning, that we celebrate you, God, every day

  29. of the week we celebrate You, who set aside this

  30. day to honor you and to have services and to

  31. worship and to praise you.

  32. Annoying the lifts of this Thy servant.

  33. Set a guard at my mouth, and help me to

  34. say the thing that you would have me to say.

  35. Nothing more less. Help us God to allow these.

  36. Sayings to go below the shoulders God, just in one

  37. ear and out to other. May they acerate our soul,

  38. our spirit, our mind, our bid Lord, maybe not depart

  39. this place Sorrowflavid rather joyfully in Jesus's name, and the

  40. Church said, aymen, look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor,

  41. honey sweet, but Jesus is sweeter Our text is found

  42. in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible. This

  43. particular part of the Hebrew Song Book was written by

  44. the second King of Israel, David by Name, also known

  45. as the Sweet Psalmist of Israel. In Second Samuel, chapter

  46. number twenty three. Amongst those verses in that chapter you

  47. will find the last words of David. It is truly

  48. all inspiring to read behind David. He is poetic in nature.

  49. He speaks to the common man. He seems to identify

  50. with a common man and woman's problems. His words are

  51. so relevant to us today. In fact, we must admit

  52. that his words are sweet words, and they speak to

  53. us in time of sorrow, in time of travail, we

  54. reach out to the twenty third song. Any preacher that

  55. has never done so has missed the sweet opportunity to

  56. comfort the hearts and the spirits of troubled individuals during

  57. their time of bereavement. I know that I have resorted

  58. to the words of David many times when I found

  59. my words to be insufficient in comforting those who grieve terribly.

  60. And as to how I have found these words to

  61. be sweet words, because they are the words of somewhat sweeter.

  62. You see, David was annoying to by God that anointing

  63. makes all of the difference. In fact, the Bible says

  64. that the anointing will destroy the yoke. What kind of

  65. yoke will the anointing destroy? Well, first, let me say

  66. that it will destroy the yoke of sin. And secondly,

  67. it will.

  68. Destroy the yoke of distraction, and it will bring forth

  69. an attraction.

  70. That is not a fatal attraction or a fantasy, but

  71. it will bring forth something that is faithful and true,

  72. dreams and hopes, not mirages, but oases to a spirit

  73. that is.

  74. Vexed or trouble.

  75. You will find that when David's predecessor, King Saul, was

  76. troubled in his mind and in his spirit, that they

  77. would summons the presence of this sweet Psalmis of Israel,

  78. and he would play skillfully, sometimes with a loud noise

  79. and sometimes with.

  80. A sweet noise.

  81. He would play, and he would comfort the troubled spirit

  82. of King saw brother Nathaniel in his death bed statement.

  83. In this twenty third song of Second.

  84. Samuel, we find the last words of David. In the

  85. very first verse of that particular chapter, we find where

  86. David described himself as the sweet Psalmist of Israel. I

  87. preach in the day of message the Holy Ghost titled

  88. Honey's Sweet and he is Sweeter, speaking of Jesus again,

  89. a sermon the Holy Ghost title Honey's Sweet and He's Sweeter.

  90. There is no doubt that King Saul in his time

  91. was a pleasant blessing to the.

  92. Nation of Israel. But nipping on.

  93. The heels of King Saul was a second blessing of swords.

  94. In the of David, there was a spirit that would

  95. love people greatly, and people could not help but adore him.

  96. How many of you have ever met somebody that seemingly

  97. is beloved by everybody. Everybody that shakes hands with them,

  98. or hugs their neck, or communicates with them, walks away

  99. and says, that is a sweet person.

  100. You will remember a woman by the name of Naomi.

  101. There was a time that she returned from a pagan

  102. land because her husband had miss led her into a

  103. pagan land, a land where she lost her husband to.

  104. Death, along with her two sons. She left them and

  105. brother Philip.

  106. When she returned to her homeland of bread, of sweet bread,

  107. she spoke to the people of her village, and she said,

  108. no longer call me that pleasant one, no longer call.

  109. Me sweet Naomi. I am now bitter and Naomi, because

  110. God has treated me sorely.

  111. She was sadly and poorly mistaken, because it was not

  112. the Lord that had called such things to come upon her.

  113. It was the igrets and the stupidity of her husband, Alimolea.

  114. Some idiot one time said that you can't blame Alimaa

  115. for going into the land of Moab with an intent

  116. to provide for his family. Oh yes, I can, because

  117. when you find that Naomi came back to Bethlehem, it

  118. was still boassh being blessed.

  119. It was still the house of bread.

  120. It seems to me like Alimlac was like some perhaps

  121. in this building, and no doubt many in our holiness

  122. of Pentecostal movements that are looking to make a move

  123. to go away from the house of Bread, to get

  124. away from the sweet things and the present things of God,

  125. that is the spirit of the prodigal son. For some reason,

  126. I feel a like bread eating in secret is pleasent.

  127. I feel like going somewhere where I.

  128. Should not be would be a pleasant and experience. We

  129. find a biblical example of this in Love when he

  130. left the.

  131. Home and the homestead of a sweet uncle uncle.

  132. Abe Abraham, and he drifted into that land of Solomon Gamar,

  133. only to father to be an unpleasant and bitter experience.

  134. I'm talking about He is sweeter.

  135. Than anything that you have ever partook of praise the Lord.

  136. The Bible students and the readers present this.

  137. Morning know that David is a type.

  138. A picture and a predecessor of Cheese Christ.

  139. They were both born in Bethlehem.

  140. Both men were rods or stems out of Jesse, and.

  141. Both were keenly.

  142. Both are still dearly beloved, and both are most pleasant

  143. to individuals.

  144. Could I get a witness, Lord Christ, Jesus, our Lord

  145. and Savior. David was a very sweet person.

  146. Look at your neighbor and asked him the question, Hey, neighbor,

  147. are you a sweet person? Are you a pleasant person?

  148. You see this sweet?

  149. So, mister Israel.

  150. David describes himself as a pleasant person. As a child

  151. on the backside of his fatherst piece of property. The

  152. Bible described it as a desert place. David was pleasant.

  153. While taking care of his troorers for the day.

  154. And clicking and checking off his daily assignments taking care

  155. of his father's sheep, for example. David was pleasant. He

  156. was pleasant, but he was playing skillfully upon that heart.

  157. He was pleasant to his mother and father's years as

  158. he sang with that voice.

  159. He was pleasant to others in the nation of Israel. Eventually,

  160. but I want you to know, as sweet and as

  161. pleasant as he was, there was someone more present, someone sweeter.

  162. I would like to remind you that David was a

  163. type or a picture or parallel of Jesus Christ.

  164. There's not a whole lot said about it.

  165. Our Lord, also known as the Son of David.

  166. That I do know that he too like to sing.

  167. I wonder how great he sounded that particular time he walked.

  168. His disciples over into a solitary place and began.

  169. To sing him. I would love.

  170. To think that he wrote to something new, but I

  171. don't believe he did.

  172. Because the gospel authors were recorded her the Song.

  173. Of Jesus the same way they recorded what we know.

  174. Asked the Lord's prayer better, Jesse.

  175. I believe he reached into the Hebrews songbird and he

  176. opened up one of the songs of David, and he

  177. just liked David. He began to sing a song better Samuel.

  178. I'm sure it was pleasing to those of a leading

  179. upon the bosom of him.

  180. I'm sure it was pleasing to those that were in earshot.

  181. And not everybody heard the sweetness. Not everybody was willing

  182. to listen. Not everybody is willing to travel at great

  183. distances to hear an annoyted person teach, seeing a preacher.

  184. That no reponent is for those that we're willing to

  185. go out to the wilderness to.

  186. Hear what Jesus described.

  187. As the world's greatest preacher. He asked him a question,

  188. He said, what would she out for to hear?

  189. What would she out for to see? Abe a man

  190. named Johnna you went to hearing.

  191. The see her her voice and a person, and he

  192. was crying out in the wilderness.

  193. He hold, somebody's coming. Who is sweeter.

  194. Somebody that's coming up is greater. You could call in

  195. John the announce her.

  196. He was not at all.

  197. Reluctant to say, I'm unaware to unbuckle the shoe leather.

  198. He was not hesitating all the sailor I'm not even.

  199. Worthy to stand there shoulder a soda with him.

  200. Oh yes, the preacher that John was sweep. Oh yes,

  201. the baptism of John was sweep.

  202. Holy. Yes to disciples of Chad, whom someone who would

  203. have eventually become.

  204. The disciples of He Jesus could say this, no doubt

  205. that man that's walking around with locus in his pockets,

  206. there's some honey. He may be a citric, but he's

  207. a great preacher. He may be different that tas no

  208. doubt he's a prophet. He may be a little bit

  209. different than a noough that he's extremely naughting, and that

  210. cricket snacking, the honey dipping.

  211. The man of God said, I says, honey, sweeter.

  212. There's something sweeter coming that I want you to know

  213. right here today, it's been sweet after this toad.

  214. But for you, sir, for you tut me see.

  215. Who sang the song before, and the lyrics go like this,

  216. How sweet is the victory? After you fought, after you're told,

  217. after you wrestled and struggled for a while, You say, Preacher,

  218. I've been fighting and struggling and battling. I've been dealing

  219. with things I thought I would never deal with. You're

  220. blessed in the fact that you're battling, because it lets

  221. me know you're doing to experience.

  222. A sweet victory.

  223. What concerns me is those with the spirit of Unicus

  224. that are done with the servants, done with the moves

  225. of God, done with hurt, and tired of hearing what

  226. the preacher.

  227. Has to say. Those with a the beauticus has got

  228. one I own Jesus and one I on the world.

  229. And they aren't.

  230. Bothered at all that they're not fighting. They're not bothered

  231. at all that they're not shruggling. They're not bothered at all.

  232. Come on, now, I'm telling you, somebody in this building

  233. here today, you have been fighting, you.

  234. Have been battling.

  235. But I hear the sound of sweet victory in my

  236. ears today. Mother, Keep praying for the prodigal children, and pastor,

  237. keep praying for the fat slaughterer saints of God. Keep

  238. praying for those that are seeking greeted deaths in God,

  239. and those that are pursuing sweeter things. I want you

  240. to know. It was one thing to hear the teaching

  241. of the scribes.

  242. The Saducees, and the Pharisees.

  243. It was another thing to read their record of the

  244. things that God did that I want you to know.

  245. When the Living Word himself came in as just a

  246. young boy and he's set in their prisons and he

  247. began to speak the Word, he didn't tell him anything new.

  248. This clouds, didn't pull out pen and partsment. There was

  249. nothing else to write. When he talked to them about himself.

  250. He talked to them about the written and the living word.

  251. And them scholars stood there and they marveled.

  252. How this young man he knew sub merch, and how.

  253. This young man could preach her sweeter about sweeter things.

  254. I want you and no, I appreciate all preaching. All

  255. preaching is good. But when it's annoying and when.

  256. God's in it somehow someway, it is all the more sweeter.

  257. I'm sure there.

  258. Were many musicians who lived in the days of David,

  259. many talented writers, many poets, many songwriters, many prolific artists.

  260. There's no doubt they were in the kingdom. The best

  261. of the best was present. The chief musician himself was present.

  262. And sometimes after singing them beautiful songs that the Israelites

  263. or Israelis loved so much, they would.

  264. Bring a new manuscript.

  265. If you would in at brother Road camp, they would say,

  266. this didn't come from the priest, This didn't come from

  267. the high priest.

  268. This came from David. But you know, David's not now

  269. write songs because he's king. He's been writing them since

  270. he was a boy. And I'm talking to somebody.

  271. You have felt like the devil's been nipping on your

  272. heels ever since you've been a child. But I want

  273. you to know you just keep on singing when nobody

  274. else is around. God loves to hear you sing. That.

  275. There was something about the lyrics of these songs. And

  276. the sweet sonster would bring into the company of his

  277. brothers and sisters, and he would take a back seat.

  278. I suppose as king, but not as priest and brother

  279. rode cap he would let the preacher be the preacher.

  280. He would let the priest be the priest, and he

  281. would let the song leader lead a song.

  282. No wonder the power. David interrupted the service. But somebody

  283. would say, turn to this sweet song of a sweet sonist.

  284. And everybody would look at David, and David would say

  285. something like this, it's all.

  286. In Jesus, my sweet Jesus, it's all of cheese. That

  287. fai deip he in the honor deip here the praise

  288. give here the Lord. I'm telling us here today he

  289. is sweet. He is sweet, and sweeter than the honey

  290. that's in the hooded corner. He is sweeter. David knew

  291. his strength and his song came from the Lord.

  292. Look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, my strength

  293. and my song comes from my Savior. So it was

  294. a pleasant person as pleasing as the Philistine woman was.

  295. The sampson David was more pleasing to Israel. Should I

  296. say it again, As pleasing as the Philistine woman was,

  297. the sampson David was more pleasing to Israel.

  298. Honey is sweet. He is sweeter talking to Jesus.

  299. It was set of Saul during his early years that

  300. he was chosen by God courageous and mighty in battle,

  301. and that he greatly loved his people and arose to

  302. defend them.

  303. When they were in trouble. It was set of Saul

  304. that he was a ruler, and he was.

  305. Somebody that people could have confidence in. Up certain point,

  306. he was courageous and mighty. Come on now, But at

  307. first Sevenuel, chapter number eighteen, from verses seven.

  308. To nine, we find the reader is exposed to some

  309. good stuff right here, some sweeter stuff. There's some shoogar.

  310. Cookies being served up right here, something commonly known amongst

  311. the people of the nation of Israel concerning Saul and David.

  312. And the women of Israel answered.

  313. One another as they played, and said, Saul has slain

  314. his thousands, but David his tens thousands. You'll come on now.

  315. Saul is sweet, but David is sweeter. The biblical record

  316. tells us soul, Saul is great, but David is greater.

  317. Saul is a great general, but David is a greater general. Well,

  318. come on now, read our text again. Salm chapter number

  319. nineteen and verse Nu tien and sitting more than be

  320. desired are theys in gold.

  321. He ain't a much fine gold, sweeter also than honey

  322. and the honey comb.

  323. The word spoken from the mouth or the living word

  324. of pleasant to my ever living and never dying soul.

  325. How many of your love the Word of God?

  326. How many have you love with God communicates with you

  327. through this written word or through the.

  328. Preaching of a preacher or minister. Faith cometh by hearing

  329. and hearing bout the word of God.

  330. Not everybody finds preaching my sake the pod and knowing

  331. the dependure of the sleep. Not everybody wanted to hear

  332. Jesus preacher. Not everybody wanted to follow him.

  333. At some point they said, the words that he speaks

  334. are too harsh.

  335. I want you to know this, sir, the word of God,

  336. it's never high, it's never too heavy. It's never too benner.

  337. We should consume it. Being her hedy, it's because.

  338. We're in the wrong spirit. We get out of the spirit.

  339. It'll be sweet my soul. Shall I keep preaching or

  340. shall we go to the fellowship?

  341. Paul, As I read the written word, my sweet Savior

  342. communicates with me. I challenged this church recently to stretch

  343. our reading daily reading, and I said, try to read

  344. at least five chapters a day. It wasn't but a

  345. few days later, my daughter Hannah said, his words have

  346. gotten a hold of me, and she says, now I

  347. no longer.

  348. Want to stop after reading five chapters.

  349. She fell in my trap because I learned that when

  350. brother Jeremiah was delivered my actlessly by the arms in

  351. the hands of our sweet Savior as he was dying.

  352. In the womb, I remember, God spoke to my heart.

  353. And he said, if you'll read at least five chapters

  354. a day in my word, I will bless you and

  355. I will.

  356. Put my naughton upon your life.

  357. And he continue with this, just take keen that you

  358. love it, and take keen that you really listen to it.

  359. In other words, Jesus was saying, hearken and heed oh,

  360. come on. Now, I've never told my wife all of

  361. the details.

  362. Of that night.

  363. But as she lay there rift open, and as I

  364. held my baby boy in my arms, I opened the

  365. Bible and God spoke those words to me.

  366. That's what the psalmist is saying right here.

  367. David was a king, yes, but he revered and regarded

  368. the word of God.

  369. I'm asking you this morning, do you have faith in

  370. your heart? Leave and to receive what the Spirit of

  371. God says. Under the church, there was some that.

  372. Did listening to Jesus when he spoke during his earthly ministry.

  373. There was some that John talked about in his Book

  374. of Revelations that would not hear. So the Spirit would say,

  375. if you've got ears to hear, listen to him as

  376. he communicates with you.

  377. People have asked me what is the secret to the anointing.

  378. I'll tell you, first and foremost, his humility, Secondly, the sincerity,

  379. and trly is.

  380. A love for the word of God.

  381. Because the word of God is God's will manifest. I

  382. want to say it again, the word of God is

  383. God's will manifest where God's will reveal. That's why treasure

  384. the words of God.

  385. David you're just right from the epop.

  386. David had a pipe crowd that was permeated, that's satifated

  387. by the sacred. The reason why his words were not

  388. it's because they were by the Lord. When I read

  389. the written word, my living Savior, the living Word, the

  390. sweet Savior communicates with me.

  391. After all, he.

  392. Left sixty six love letters in my hands. Why would

  393. I not treasure them during my lifetime? Why would I

  394. not be pleased with them? Why would somebody not be

  395. pleased this morning with what the Spirit of God is

  396. saying to you through this sermon? Specific you see, sister,

  397. how these sixty six love letters have served as a

  398. blessing to me and you during every facet and phase

  399. of our life, by our reading and hearing and adhering

  400. to the Word of God that he has communicated with

  401. us through his word and through his Holy Ghost.

  402. It's in Atlanta and agreement with the Word.

  403. It is my delight and pleasure to listen and to

  404. hearken and the heed, because any time My Savior speaks

  405. to me, there is a purpose, some of which I.

  406. Can dream up, some of which I can guess what

  407. he means, and some of which I.

  408. Must trust fool it home. Why the spirit is saying

  409. what it's saying, Because.

  410. Only God knows all things, and only God never has

  411. to think, and only.

  412. God knows what my future holds. Only God knows what

  413. my children will become.

  414. Without annoying it on my life, without God leading and

  415. the rent to me. I will say again, Holy.

  416. God knows one woman becoming my grandchildren and my grandbabies.

  417. If I need not, let God speak to me.

  418. You know what, the nation an Isu.

  419. Was blaster because I had a sweet, solemn stuff that

  420. could speak.

  421. Into their life. And they're paying me such keep me safe.

  422. That's a cure. Let me ask you what matters most?

  423. Her paycheck a pinchion of what parson it's.

  424. Like prosperity, he maling, that's your answer, holding all up

  425. to the answer for every lasting God.

  426. I always perk up with delight when I realize the

  427. Master is speaking directly to me and whatever the Master

  428. hands me a note and I know it's a handful

  429. of purpose as much as sweet bowass meant in that

  430. gesture of reaching parch corn to sweet Ruth. When I

  431. realize God has handed me as sert as pacific for me,

  432. I perk up with the light you see after all,

  433. sweet Ruth, if you listen to what sweet bo As

  434. is saying under you, there will be sweet.

  435. Things in your future. And whenever the time.

  436. Comes your mother in law, Naomi, we'll rebut those that

  437. come in and say hello, bitter Naomi, Hello, bitter Naomi.

  438. But when she's.

  439. Rocking in her arms, old bed Oh, come on to Daddy,

  440. your jessing, little Grandpa David, Naomi, because say, don't call

  441. me better ever again.

  442. Don't you call me that.

  443. My name is pleasant one, My name is Naomi. I

  444. want to tell you, Naomi, it's been sweet. It's been

  445. good because I'm like, I get sweeter, I said, he

  446. it's about to get sweeter to you.

  447. Nay o day. David put it this way, sister Irish,

  448. wouldn't He said, more to be desired, are they than gold?

  449. You're talking about the man that wanted to build a

  450. big church for Jehovah. You talking about a man that

  451. was stockpiling riches and wealth of the mass and stop

  452. piles of gold beyond comprehension.

  453. And he said his words are more desired than gold.

  454. What David is saying, just speak to me, Speak to

  455. me God, I'll give you everything. If you'll just speak

  456. to me, I'll think I commend a shepherd on the

  457. right side of Daddy's park, if you'll just speak to me.

  458. That's what made David's mess off. He wasn't worried about

  459. the palace. He was worrying about the pass.

  460. That's, oh God, I said, David. What's not worried about

  461. the palace? He was worrying about the present. So what's

  462. sweeting than living in a palace?

  463. Honeyed sween and living in a palace, it's living in

  464. the past.

  465. That's oh God, your Lord have to sit and drive

  466. death services when I can rim in this Sister Howe

  467. and I eighteen years ago had just scraped the foundation.

  468. I was getting ready to pour for our big house,

  469. our dream house, our forever home. When God says, stop

  470. what you're doing, leave a six digit salary and go

  471. into uncharted territory. To make a long story short.

  472. We spent some days in the LaBelle motel, not.

  473. The River's Edge in that was before the days of

  474. Airbnb rental housing.

  475. That was before vrbo.

  476. We spent quite a bit of time in the Roach

  477. Coach Motel across from Burger King That was before it

  478. was remodeled. That's whenever the comforters were comforters. You know,

  479. they're really thick and quilted, and they have cigarette burn

  480. marks in them. And Sister Hall looked at me and

  481. she said, Jeremy, are you sure? I said, Honey, I'm

  482. sure it was God. Are you sure, honey? And we

  483. spent Christmas in a little storefront building with our six children.

  484. I'm telling you, a storefront building that did not even

  485. have baseboard installed and didn't have a fresh coat of

  486. paint on the walls because.

  487. The church people couldn't afford to do any better. And

  488. I helped them pay their rent payment.

  489. Oh come, but what do you want, sister Howl a

  490. beautiful home on that hill?

  491. What do we have there?

  492. About nine acres with that gorgeous tributary that flowed.

  493. Diagonally through the property, with all of.

  494. Them big nut trees, all of them tangerine trees, all

  495. of them orange trees, right in the middle of a giant,

  496. humongous orange growth of better Jesse. What's sweeter than every

  497. morning the Howl boys couldn't up and rocking out and.

  498. Pulling oranges up off.

  499. I'll tell you what's Sween what happened right around here

  500. when brother Jesse was singing a sweet.

  501. Song, how redeemed the seeing God.

  502. He touched him in a great way. I'm telling you,

  503. our plants were sleep, our teens were sweep. He said,

  504. Oh what he had sweener plan?

  505. Say?

  506. I said God, he had seen their playing talking. I'm

  507. telling somebody here the day God God sleep plan talking

  508. for you.

  509. I could see it now as Samuel came to annoy it,

  510. the sons of Jesse, and he said, these are all

  511. good guys. In fact, I would assume all of them

  512. to be chosen of God saw chosen for his army.

  513. And the Bible said that the king would choose the

  514. best of the sons and the dollars.

  515. There's no doubt, Samuel said. They said the word of

  516. God truly that God's annoyed. And before me in the

  517. spirit of God said he sweeped. But there's one sweeting.

  518. Uh Are you with me? He's sweep.

  519. I ain't telling you where you've been hadn't been swept.

  520. I'm not telling you your plans ain't sweet. I'm not

  521. telling you it ain't beautiful. I'm not telling you I

  522. hadn't been a beautiful experience. I made you some pretty

  523. sweet girls before I met Sister Howell. In fact, the

  524. devil threw me a curveball just before I met her.

  525. He always does. I told her about six months ago.

  526. I said, when the devil threw me that curveball, he

  527. knew what he was doing. He threw me a sweet

  528. pitch buddy. He threw me a sweet lady like her woman.

  529. But there was something different about Sister Howell.

  530. And I walked away. I said, well, I must compare

  531. the two, and there's something.

  532. Sweeter about Sister Howell.

  533. And there was about town individual hoping on that one.

  534. Incapdul said, pick me, pick me. I'm asking you this morning.

  535. You go ahead and decided. He's a sleep plans is

  536. a plank.

  537. He's a kid playing talk the way. He's a greater play.

  538. I'm telling you here their name God, It's got something

  539. beautiful hit your future. Should I keep preaching now? Should

  540. we eat chicken?

  541. Samuel told Jesse he said, something here is wrong with

  542. this picture.

  543. Something here's wrong with this picture. It should be making sense,

  544. but it's not.

  545. It's a holiness church, it's a holiness group, it's a

  546. holiness people.

  547. It's a holiness family. But for some reason I won't settled.

  548. What in the world is wrong? That's what's sister, howline

  549. spirits eighteen years.

  550. It's beautiful plans. It's sweet plans. I guess for about

  551. five years. I cleared that property with the plans in

  552. my hand, with the blueprints in my hands, I'm addressmen

  553. by trade. I had my finishing touches, I had my

  554. wife's kiss of approval on it.

  555. I mean that was sweet.

  556. Plans for walking on that big wrap around ports were

  557. mama hand in hand.

  558. But when I looked out here today and.

  559. I saw eighty something saved safety, five people that loved God, I.

  560. Saw, thoughful, that God had sweeter plan my sister and I.

  561. When Samuel saw David after David had been summons, he knew.

  562. Then, truly, truly, we're in a situation now where sweet

  563. things can happen.

  564. He took that holy annoying no that had been prayed

  565. over his sister would nicked up the entire bottle on

  566. David's head. Can I tell you the sweet shepherd boy

  567. became the sweet General.

  568. And the sweet boy you're and the sweet king as

  569. it's other than them.

  570. He is body you don't believe it. King Saul, when

  571. he got annoyed, he went to Prompheside. You get in

  572. the right place at the right time. You get yourself

  573. in the right situation. There ain't no telling what a

  574. little shepherd boy will be counted? Is it possible for

  575. things to get sweeter for me? They ain't no tellings.

  576. If you live in the land of the Prophet, you

  577. live in the land of Jesus. You live in the

  578. land where the Holy goes. You live in the land

  579. where the milk and honey is flowing.

  580. One of the things Pastor Moses and assistant Pastor Joshua,

  581. and you Pastor Caleb was looking forward to was possessing

  582. Canaan's land.

  583. A land that should not have been theirs, a land

  584. of promise.

  585. Because Joshua and Caleb said differently than the other spires.

  586. They said, it's a lamb where the milk and honey

  587. has told, Hey, I don't live with service there where

  588. I won't be and move with God. How don't come on.

  589. It's predictable. It's predictable. It's predictable.

  590. It doesn't matter when you sew up. It's like clockwork.

  591. The two puts from a honeycomb. For God Heaven, it's

  592. not happen. David sitting more.

  593. To beating us harder they than gold. This man neon

  594. the betefits of a stockpile of gold.

  595. But it goes on to say something that is better

  596. than gold, because when you're hungry, you'll give everything. When

  597. you're starving, you'll pay a premium for not lobster, for

  598. some beanie, whennies. When you're starving, you pay a premium,

  599. not for one. These sisters are prepared out there, but

  600. for a hot dog. Come on now, sister, how do

  601. I just come back for spending a week in Miami.

  602. There's great food down there. But one particular day we

  603. have been walking for a pretty good ball. I said, Honey,

  604. we've got big plans, don't we?

  605. And she said yeah.

  606. I said, you know me, I don't care much for don'ts,

  607. But that dog booth right there is looking pretty good.

  608. I think I need to go get a hot boag.

  609. She said, you can eat that now and pay for

  610. him later.

  611. With that girl at heartburns, I said, you know what,

  612. I believe, I'll pass it up and hold on for

  613. something sweeter. Come on, something matter, I'm gonna.

  614. Pass up some trash in order to get the transfer.

  615. It's okay for you to say that you're not gonna

  616. stuff me full of trash whenever I.

  617. Can enjoy r trasur. David was saying, the gold of

  618. this world is but trash.

  619. Apostle Paul said, I came it off, but dog that

  620. I'm not being the center of God's will. A man

  621. that perhaps was part of the Sanhedrin, the great Apostle Paul,

  622. who possibly op steve real estate in Jerusalem. He said,

  623. I you clid, move out of this hereto the center

  624. of God's wheel.

  625. And David said, more to be desired are they than gold?

  626. You're talking about a man that could summons the world

  627. chariot and the steeds thereof, and ride out and survey

  628. stop piles of wealth.

  629. And David shrugged his shoulders and say nothing to it.

  630. All in a day's work. But I need him to

  631. speak in here. And he'd go to his own.

  632. Bedroom, tell the guards which he mine's sitting outside, and

  633. put his hands.

  634. On that harp and say what was it? Describes rute?

  635. What was it?

  636. Moses and Marriyam sung about as the lyrics of Moses's

  637. song What was the lyrics of Marriam's song and brother Wood.

  638. Just when nobody thought he could get any sweet sweeter

  639. than the song of Moses or the song of Marriam,

  640. David's sitting there behind closed doors and he said, sweet

  641. is the song, Yeah, lot, I bust over.

  642. Sweet as the song. I don't care about what people

  643. do in public. What I care about is how I

  644. feel in private. I don't care how blessed they are

  645. in public. What I care about is how blessed to

  646. my my bed at night.

  647. When I laid my head on that bed last night,

  648. intended to sleep solid.

  649. It was sweet sleep, as the Bible describe it.

  650. But when the Almighty started nudging me and he said,

  651. you've got some good plans for this weekend.

  652. But I've got some better ones.

  653. And the sweet solace of Heaven started speaking into myself.

  654. The words of this God and text. I was glad

  655. to hear these words and.

  656. Are more desirable and gown and God are sweeter than honey,

  657. a honeycoll.

  658. Church, as we fill the prison of God right now,

  659. God's word is far more valuable than gold. Because sometimes

  660. when David would get anointed, David would become more than

  661. a King, he would.

  662. Occupy in an office that was not his to occupy.

  663. He would become a prophet. And then it got sweeter

  664. than that, he would become a parallel to the Son

  665. of God.

  666. He would begin to prophesy of things that were coming forth,

  667. things that were.

  668. In the distant future. Who would trade dying with God

  669. in a private place.

  670. He that abideth in the secret place of the most time,

  671. shall abide.

  672. Under the shadow of the Almighty. Sister, how Dave knew

  673. what it was to ride up to the crest of

  674. a mountain.

  675. With troops amassed by the hundreds of thousands, and for

  676. everybody to say, that's not our glory, general, but just

  677. a sweet sauce.

  678. And he's doing what he must do. He hates to.

  679. Shed blood, but in love to our soul he will deliver.

  680. As that sounds just like my Savior. He has no

  681. desire to shed the blood of any is. He's not

  682. willing that any should perish. My sweet Savior's hands are

  683. stretched out this morning, when our sweet Savior is weakoot

  684. in crime, when he's saying, do you not see your

  685. plans that I have for you? Brother Samuel, do you

  686. have a notebook over there. Does somebody have a notebook

  687. present that you can rush up here to this platform?

  688. There's one right there. The Lord today is saying, trade

  689. your blueprints.

  690. From my blueprint.

  691. Trade your plans for my plans, because right now you

  692. feel miserable.

  693. Now, how do you know you ain't a sweet promise?

  694. How do you know God's done with you?

  695. How do you know it's the end of the road

  696. for you? How do you know you can't never be?

  697. How do you know you can't never be? How do

  698. you know your daughter can't ever be? How do you

  699. know your son can't ever be?

  700. I'm a feeling good back now, my soul. I still

  701. have the plans of mine and Sister Howls forever home.

  702. But I want you to know Sister Bluten ain't been

  703. rolled out in about ten years, because every time I

  704. go to get them, God.

  705. Says, oh, that I got something sweeter for you, my boys.

  706. About five weeks.

  707. Ago we launched them two pontoum boats on the Clusa Hachie.

  708. Brother stare At. We launched in less than five minutes.

  709. Brother Jesse said, you know it didn't make sense when

  710. we first left, he said, But now when I'm looking

  711. at that sunset on the Clusa Hachie, He said, I

  712. realized now God's.

  713. Plans were so much better for us than our plans.

  714. When my dear friend, one of my greatest friends, brother

  715. Johnny Larimore, one of our full time revivals, when he's

  716. home almost every evening, he will be found down there

  717. at the picnic table. What's the public boat ram watching

  718. the sun, watching God's big corn dip in the jukebox

  719. and trigger them. Coyote, he's around here, sweet love of God.

  720. I've been known to hear a part scream when God

  721. dips his coin in his dukebox. I've been known here

  722. a fish jump. I've been known here coyotes saying to

  723. the glory of God.

  724. I'm telling you, I feel the Holy ghost in this

  725. place right now. David had all the men behind him.

  726. What he was looking for.

  727. Let me get in the altar, and let me get

  728. along with my God in that altar, because God's word

  729. will bring God's will, and God's will will bring.

  730. Protection, provision and personal gain. That's what David knew. All

  731. that I've acquired in a mass and gain is nothing

  732. without the wealth of Him. Brother Jeremiah, his word is

  733. far more.

  734. Valuable than gold. His word manifest his will, and that's

  735. real treasure to me. I look out here, and I'm

  736. preaching to a host of people that have come far

  737. and wide to be where you're at today. I would

  738. be a fool not to give you hope that Jesus

  739. gave four men to give you God's word and will.

  740. Isn't only more desirous than gold, Brother, stere it. The

  741. Psalmist said, it's sweeter than the honeycomb. How can anything

  742. be sweeter than that sweet sauce dripping from a honeycomb,

  743. Brother's sister, When you learn to let those sweet drippings

  744. of honey leave your brain matter and that honeycomb upstairs,

  745. and it starts dripping into your soul, man, you will

  746. say with me the words of the Psalmist and Psalm

  747. thirty four and a taste.

  748. And see that the board is good. Blessed is the

  749. man that trusted in him. I wonst say it again.

  750. When you learn how to look the honey drip from the.

  751. Brain matter and the honey corn, and let that sweet

  752. drippings get down in here, you'll be like David.

  753. Old taste. And see how about a sister, vickim Old

  754. taste and sea. That's what one of the apostles asked

  755. another one before they were apostles. Can anything good come?

  756. Come and see? That's what John was saying. He's standing

  757. there with a pocket full of locusts and some dipping sauso.

  758. My granddaughters call it bippit, bippit, bippit, granddaddy, bippet. Can

  759. you imagine that that cricket locus smacking? Preacher, you're making

  760. them are bitter carcasses?

  761. Sweet, I'm telling.

  762. You you get where the atmosphere is permeated with anot

  763. and on dead, lifeless carcasses, and become sweet.

  764. I'm telling you to be sweet to your soul. What matters?

  765. What matters a messing the wealth of elon musk or

  766. being rich insight? I heard somebody ask me one time, said,

  767. has God richly blessed you? I said, it depends on

  768. how you defied it. If you're saying has God richly

  769. blessed me? As it is there fifteen million dollars in

  770. the bank account first, and for us, that's done of

  771. your business. But if there was there was it that

  772. has nothing to do with me being richly blessed, Me

  773. being richly blessed as going.

  774. I got saved.

  775. What's sweeter than the blood of cheese life? Then I

  776. feel safetification, Then I got baptizing.

  777. The holy ghosts. Can my law and my love really change?

  778. Hold from what experience? For what a naughty that's David?

  779. About that? Oh that takes us God, Heaven the trip

  780. upon you and you will know about, say sister Jana. Hell.

  781. When you tell them, friends, family members, and foes how

  782. sweet it is, they say it can't be. It can't be.

  783. That's why David said old taste and.

  784. See the first word of the Son of Saul.

  785. Clearly denotes the longin is someone so this morning?

  786. Oh David longs for someone to experience what he is experienced.

  787. Oh taste that seed.

  788. David wants someone to taste and experence God's goodness. In

  789. doing so, that person will realize God's goodness.

  790. They will see it. I've experienced it and now I'll

  791. see it.

  792. Oh Dad, I had no idea what God had in

  793. store for us. Lauren, You're not a singleing wedding mother.

  794. Today.

  795. God looked in that apartment and he saw a singleing

  796. wedding mother that was crying out saying, I really am

  797. sick and tired of this.

  798. I made a mistake.

  799. If nobody else will forgive me, Jesus will and I

  800. know brother Jeremy will. I reached for Lauren when she

  801. was beginning to backslide. I was in the pew right

  802. there beside her, pleading with her to live right. I

  803. was a preaching a camp meeting and forgot about everybody

  804. else and what all was going on, and went back

  805. there to one little black sheep one, a little backslider

  806. to the day, was dragging out of the House of

  807. God by her heels.

  808. And you know what, little did I know. Years later,

  809. after not hearing from her, she would send.

  810. A text message to Sister Howell and say, I've been

  811. praying in my house and God is leading me down there.

  812. I'm miserable, I'm starving the dispiritucy. Things are not turning

  813. around for me. Yes there's sweet people here, Yes there's

  814. a sweet work here, there's no doubt.

  815. But for some reason, it's working for them and it's

  816. not working for me. And she came down here.

  817. God saved her safety fighter, refilled her with the Holy.

  818. Ghost and Brother Jesse. It was very long.

  819. God handed his plans for her to her. I've got

  820. two tops of candy up here right now, you be

  821. the judge. I've got a gummy and I've got fundip,

  822. just the road cat's weakness. Let me ask you right now,

  823. fat boy, what it's sweeter fundip? Is there anybody in

  824. disagreement right now? Brother Justin knows I'm not picking on

  825. his weight. He's laughing the whole time. Hey, which one sweeter? Fundp? Oh?

  826. You're going with a gummy?

  827. Brother Jonathan says he's going with a gummy. I would say, sister,

  828. how would pick fun dip?

  829. Is that right? You would say? See them son in laws?

  830. They don't know nothing. He had always remember, they just

  831. stoopid and crazy as a loon. That goes well, well, well, well,

  832. well okay, brother Jesse, what would you say sweeter? Which

  833. you don't know? You have to w I sense a

  834. divide at church house right here.

  835. So in our company there's some indecision concerning which is sweeter.

  836. Let's have a vote right in the middle of this summon.

  837. Who thinks fundip is sweeter? Hey man, who thinks the

  838. gummy covered in sugar sweeter? Well? Look, we are equally

  839. divided right down the middle. I'll be pastor to both sides.

  840. I'm for everybody's a winner. It may, I said, like

  841. a lot of these preachers nowadays, I was afraid the

  842. preacher gets sin. Hey, come on, we don't always serve

  843. honey wafers around here, but you know what, they're heavenly wafers.

  844. I want to get back to preaching a little bit

  845. more right here.

  846. But concerning the things of God, there is no discrepancy

  847. in the description of which is sweeter.

  848. Daven knew that God is sweeter than gold. Come now, and.

  849. God's goodness is better than the honey dripping from the

  850. honey cold.

  851. Every time I've tasted of the goodness of God for

  852. the time hysteric. It's been sweet.

  853. Going to churches a sweet experience. But there can be

  854. a sweeter experience.

  855. In my house of God. I want you experience. I

  856. want you to taste it. I want you to taste that.

  857. See, it can't be.

  858. Back, I said, up, it can't be sweeter here.

  859. This honey in the rock for some people in this

  860. building today, I want to believe there's honey in the

  861. rock for eighty one of you.

  862. Praise the Lord.

  863. David desperately pleased with somebody to partake of the goodness

  864. of God. David's best friend knew what it was to

  865. taste to see. Do y'all remember when Jonathan did not

  866. hear what his father saw told the troops of Israel.

  867. Saul had charged the people with an oath, and Saul said,

  868. do not partake.

  869. Of any food for a certain period of time.

  870. But as the troops marched on by the jest, said Jonathan,

  871. one of the generals, he put forth the end of

  872. the rod that was in his hand, and he dipped

  873. it in the honeycomb and put his hand.

  874. To his mouth, and the Bible said his eyes were enlightened.

  875. Now I can get trouble right there, Brother Jeremiah always

  876. receiving tests the mornings from people.

  877. They say, mine, my eyes have been opened.

  878. After hearing the messages you're posting of old and preachers

  879. preaching there in South Florida. And I don't think every

  880. pastor and preachers pleased with Brother Jeremiah's ministry because some

  881. of their parishioners, some of their members are dipping their rod.

  882. In the honey. And I won't try to behave, but

  883. it's a crime shame.

  884. For any leader keenley, priestly or whatever to prohibit somebody

  885. that's fought in the battle for taste.

  886. Of something sweet. It is my duty, as you.

  887. Were a leader, or as your minister, as your example,

  888. as you're a preacher, to come to this pulpit prepared,

  889. not with raw oysters, not with a warmth. That's sermon

  890. not suiting for the hip. It is my duty to

  891. wrestle with God until I get a servant's pacific and

  892. somebody can get the end of their rod in that honeycock.

  893. Put their month and say.

  894. My my ma, that was sueet. Put pressure on your

  895. brother howl. That's okay, I can handle it.

  896. You mean you're gonna have to do that every service,

  897. every service, as long as our service pastor here. That

  898. should never be a service where somebody walks out and

  899. says I'm hungry. Spiritually speaking, God have mercy or so

  900. called children of God who have to subject themselves to

  901. leadership that would prevent them from eating and intoliging in

  902. the sweet things of God.

  903. This shouldn't. There's never a time it's.

  904. The will of God for God's people to go more

  905. than a handful of services without saining and explorer or

  906. a manifestation of the Spirit of God, not according to

  907. the Bible, not according to the real Jesus. A counterfeit

  908. Jesus makes it permissible for there not to be a

  909. moving of the Holy Ghost. And that counterfeit Jesus makes

  910. regular appearances at the Baptist Church.

  911. But the last I checked, he wasn't welcome.

  912. The counterfeit Jesus was not welcome in the Upper Room,

  913. and he was not welcome in the early churches, and.

  914. He should not be welcome in our churches. There should

  915. never be a.

  916. Downturning of the service or a differnt of the service

  917. or the manifestation and the movements of the Holy Ghost.

  918. I'm getting in trouble right here.

  919. There's always a point in some message where I get

  920. in trouble. I need somebody to pray for me. It's

  921. the pastor in me coming out. God's still vangelize and

  922. I probably wouldn't say this stuff, but if a pastor

  923. is not pastor, and he's in the wrong calling anyway,

  924. but it's my duty to serve. And when I don't

  925. have it, he nudges me at four o'clock in the

  926. morning and says, I got.

  927. It for you, sweet things right here this morning, for somebody.

  928. It's mine. Can't nobody take it from me? It's mine.

  929. Jonathan's eyes were enlightened. I see it now, I've tasted,

  930. I've experienced it, and I see it. I realize it.

  931. Before the days of David, another anointed leader of Israel, Sampson,

  932. the Judge was attacked.

  933. By a lion.

  934. He walked along a certain path, Brother Justin Rodcap And

  935. as he walked along that path, Sampson was attacked by

  936. that lion, and not Judge of Israel easily ripped open.

  937. The jaws of the lion with his bare hands. My

  938. God in Heaven, y'all are hungry. In his Sunday morning,

  939. I know this is a Sunday Night's message.

  940. After a period of time, Samson, he took it another walk,

  941. and he took a walk down the same path in

  942. a different direction.

  943. Though had it in a different direction he had been

  944. heading north, He's hit it sound had been heading with east.

  945. He's heading west.

  946. As he passed back by the carcass of the lion,

  947. it was decomposed, and sister of Wooting. As a Nazarite,

  948. he wasn't supposed to go over there and observe or

  949. touch that carcass. He wasn't supposed to observe or partake

  950. her anything did right, But he heard a swarm.

  951. Somebody helped me. Sweat bees. Come on, everybody, all crazy pentecostals. Woo.

  952. I felt that too. Whoo. The only thing y'all needs

  953. a handkerchief. It's not easier to obey God. Didn't you

  954. thought either, every man, O my swept bees one more time.

  955. Swat bees. That's how he beat did it in the

  956. old church of God. Right, glory, it's making sense to

  957. you now right. It's what bees that's fixing to.

  958. Make a lot of sense to you.

  959. And then he realizes there's a swarm down in that

  960. old dead carcass in a time closer observation. Sweep Now,

  961. my god, the busy bees have been working.

  962. There's money in that carcass. There's honey in that service

  963. for me. That rock is falling them, there's water in it, But.

  964. There's honey in the rock for you today, my friend,

  965. there's honey in the rock. My brother, there's honey in

  966. the rocks for you and my sister. You won't be

  967. in a decomposing situation. Ah got prebending any of my

  968. closing sisters worldwide or in a decomposing chuck situation.

  969. I don't want to take God.

  970. To be sold, but however close I am the something.

  971. This morning, upon closer observation, I can tell you there

  972. is honey calling my full of honey in this place

  973. for you. This morning, Bethel, in the midst of a

  974. weakened in a cruel world, God has given us honeycold,

  975. out of which flows sweet driffins.

  976. Brother Jesse, when you've come to the piano, Brother Nathaniel,

  977. would you come around to see my brother the judge

  978. of Israel Sampson.

  979. In Judges, chapter number fourteen and verse number fourteen, the

  980. biblical writer recorded a riddle of Sampson, and he said,

  981. out of the eater came forth meat, and out of

  982. the strong came forth sweetness. I'm telling some right here

  983. in this building today, as we're standing, I'm telling some

  984. out of the bitter circumstances will come.

  985. Forth much weakness. Out of the.

  986. Bitter circumstances that your facing will come forth much sweetness. Samson,

  987. by the anointing of the Holy Ghost, was able to

  988. stop the eater. How many of you know the Bible said,

  989. the devil walked about as a roaring lion, seeking whom

  990. he made devour. One of the benefits of me making

  991. a strategic move I made eighteen years ago is my

  992. children are saved today.

  993. I honestly believe had I not made the move, they would.

  994. Not be saved today. My guess this two out of

  995. six would be saved. Losing one's spiritually is too many?

  996. Did that go over y'all's head? Y'all, y'all hungry and

  997. Sunday morning, tired, Sampson, by the anorington, was able to

  998. stop the eater, the devour. The devil as a lion

  999. walketh about seeking whom he made devour. He's put a

1000. target on our children's backs. And Samson, as the judge,

1001. was able to stop the eater.

1002. Y'all, do realize it matters who you're around. For the

1003. children of Israel. It mattered in these days who was

1004. their judge. For the children of Israel, in the days

1005. of David, it mattered who was their king, whether they

1006. prospered or pavail or not.

1007. When God people's got Jesus. In this day and hour,

1008. we got Jesus. You know, Samson was sweet to his people, sister, he'll.

1009. And Jesus is sweeter to his people.

1010. Samson stopped the devour, but Jesus stopped the devouring of

1011. the devourer for our soul. Jesus has done everything for.

1012. Our soul's benefit and for our soul's sake. I'm not

1013. gonna give a general all to call this morning. I

1014. want these brothers to start singing. And if God has

1015. spoke to you at any point in this message this morning,

1016. I want you to make your way up here. If

1017. you need healing, there's sweetness in this for you.

1018. If you need to make little seasons on the job,

1019. their sweetness, that's for you.

1020. So if you need to do something that you never

  1021. know before. Sweet, he's sweet. I know he's sweet. I

  1022. know he's sweet.

  1023. I know.
