A Master Of Disguise - Bro Jeremy Howell 4-6-2025

May I direct your attention to the eleventh chapter. We

will be reading Versus number thirteen through fifteen. Brother Nathaniel, Genesis,

Chapter number three, Verse number six, Brother Jesse Firs John

Chapter number four, and verse number one. Brother Nathaniel being

right there on that front pew, just had his daughter

sitting next to him, passed her off to his wife

because he's fixing to read a scripture and he doesn't

I say again, let no men think me a fool,

may boast myself a little. That which I speak, I

Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory. Also,

looking again at verse number fifteen, Therefore it is no

great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the

ministers of righteousness.

Look at verse number thirteen.

For such are apostles that are false, apostles deceitful workers

transforming themselves into the apostles of.

Christ, and no marvel.

For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor.

I'm not surprised because the devil is the master of disguise.

You guessed it right.

Looking at your neighbors, say hey, neighbor, did you know

the devil is a master of disguise? Our golden text

is found in a New Testament book of the Holy Bible,

the Book of Second Corinthians. As I read the first

and second letter of Corinthians to the church gathered there

in corinth I noticed Brother Nathaniel that Apostle Paul was

quite sorrowful. In fact, he seemed quite burden because of

people doubting him as a speaker. We will remember a

particular scripture where the Apostle Paul said, I do not

come as an eloquent oracle, I do not come as

an elegant person. But I do come in demonstration and.

Empower of the Holy Ghost.

And we know that his writings show us that this

man must have been a highly intelligent individual. Not only

was he a highly intelligent individual amongst the early Church

and its leaders, he was a very important and influential

person within the Early Church.

And it broke my heart to see these.

Two writings as I read them I wept because I too,

am familiar with the tragedies that take place within a

church situation and environment.

Not only are.

There moments of triumph, there are also moments of tragedy.

And Brother Jesse, I noticed that there was sorrow concerning

some of the people who were coming around this particular

body of believers.

At that time, the Apostle.

Paul was not comfortable at all with those people that

were walking in and out of this particular assembly. In fact,

he was greatly troubled in his spirit, and his writings

are indicative of this, Brother Rick Jacob, these two epistles

showed me that the devil, namely Lucifer, had a target

on the backs of the worshipers that were gathered there

in the House of God.

But it is safe to say.

That there was much improvement in their lives and their

houses of worship, because some did give heed to the

writings of the great Apostle Paul.

In fact, after reading the first.

Epistle and the second Epistle, I noticed that there was

some improvement amongst these body of believers after they read

and received the words of the first letter that was

addressed to them. Some might disagree with that, but I

think so. But however, these people continue to be a

work in progress, just like every person that belongs to

the Methyl Holiness Church.

Until Jesus returns.

Or until you draw your last breath, you should be

a work in progress. Let me ask every believer present

this morning, is the Lord doing a progressive work inside you?

Or have you arrived to the.

Ultimate spiritual destination and height?

I think not.

We as people that believe in a second definite work

of grace called sanctification, we also believe that there should

be spiritual growth and development and a striving for spiritual

maturity until the return of Christ. Sunday's morning's message was

titled A Simple Solution. Brother Samuel and Brother Philip Powell

last night reminded me of that message and they said,

All people have to do is repent, take a hold

of the Word of.

God, and hearken and heed to what they have.

They still needed to grow in grace and in the

and changed for the better.

Morning, even though you belong to the Bithal Holiness Church

and you say, brother Jeremy Howell is my pastor, that

does not mean that you have arrived spiritually and that

there's no room.

At all for you to grow in the Lord.

The Apostle Paul believe the Holy Ghost transforms sinners into saints,

not disguised sinners. He knew that the Holy Ghost makes

the children of God be like their heavenly Father. He

believed Christians or new creatures should we call them, that

these people embody the New Covenant, they embody the New Creation,

and they embody their creator, the Christ the Great. Apostle

Paul believed that repentance itself is expressed in a holiness lifestyle.

In a change of attitude, manners, and behaviors. Again, repentance

is expressed.

Others are known.

To be witnesses of holiness because it's expressed in the

life of believers through repentance. Again, Apostle Paul believed that

repentance is expressed in holiness, good clean living, shacified holness

striving people are people that repent when they feel out

they have been offensive to their heavenly Father or to

their fellow man. The Great Apostle Paul believes in the

holy ghosts power of purity.

He believes that the holy ghosts from heaven have power

to produce a pure But he also knew that the

power of Satan was present.

Among the people of God, and that Lucifer would do

Come along on the heels of the other men that

Jesus had chosen.

Even now, in your midst and in your presence, there

are people that claim to have an experience like I have.

They claim to.

they claim to have to.

Say teachings, they claim to know the same things that

I know.

That they are deceit.
