-
Now will you turn with me to the Book of Judges,
-
and may I direct your attention to the fourth chapter
-
and the twenty first verse.
-
I want to say, it is so good to have
-
each one in.
-
The House of the Lord with us today we give
-
tribute to our mothers. This day we honor them in
-
the spirit of the Bible. We honor our fathers and
-
mothers every day when we are thankful for this day
-
that we have set aside to do that which is
-
right and to honor our mothers.
-
They tell me there's about seventy people plus.
-
In the building this morning, and there are a little
-
over twenty mothers. There's seventy plus people in the building
-
this morning and a little over twenty mothers. We have
-
a gift for you at the end of the service,
-
and so we had to get an estimate of how
-
many mothers are present today, and we have enough to
-
go around, and some for those mothers that might be expected.
-
And a little one and you didn't tell us about it.
-
We have something for you too. If you want to
-
admit it, confess it, tell the first lady about it.
-
Say hey, I'm a mommy and we haven't told anybody
-
about this little bundle of joy that's in the oven.
-
We have something for you, But I want you to
-
think with me about that little over seventy people and
-
a little over twenty mothers. That seems like a small
-
amount of mothers for seventy people, doesn't it? It?
-
Sure does.
-
I want you to think with me concerning this message.
-
The Holy Ghost title. About four hours.
-
Ago Jl's nill, the Nill of Jail.
-
I was sound asleep and had planned to go in
-
a different direction, and the Holy Ghost shook me. And
-
I was awakened because of the magnitude and the good
-
violence of.
-
That shaky in that quaking in my soul.
-
And after he had my attention, he spoke into my heart,
-
the nail of Jail. Brother Nathaniel, would you turn with
-
me to Isaiah fifty four and seventeen and brother Jesse
-
one Peter, chapter number three and verse number seven. I
-
look at these mothers today, and I admire them because
-
they are tools in the hands of God. We heard
-
a dear brother say a little while ago when his
-
wife decided to no longer serve the Lord, and to
-
walk away from truth and righteousness and virtue, modesty and
-
all of the things that you find in the word
-
of God all of these wonderful principles. When she decided
-
to abandon all of that that she knew that was
-
so good for her and her family, he said, immediately.
-
After she walked away from the Lord in his word,
-
my daughter's allowed her on that path that he acknowledges
-
leads to destruction.
-
All the power of influence of the mother.
-
We have had outreach ministries where we have gone into
-
the highways and hedges, into little places where the paupers live,
-
into the nicer places where the princes and princesses of
-
society live. And we have brought their children from a
-
very young age into the House of God. We've taken
-
them into Sunday School, We've had vacation Bible School. We've
-
drove them to and from revival, led them to and
-
from an altar. They have been in wonderful, highly anointed services.
-
But do you know who went out?
-
The mother that was disinterested in church, the mother that
-
had no desire whatsoever to bring her child up in
-
the nurture and the admonition of the Lord. And I
-
want to report this to you had to say, but
-
recently I saw some that we've worked with for a
-
span of five years. They have definitely taken the.
-
Path and the course of their mother.
-
So, Mother, if you feel today insignificant, I want you
-
to know little as much when God is in it.
-
In the look of Micah, around the fifth chapter and
-
the second verse, we find where the Lord spoke through
-
the Prophet concerning Bethlahem, and he said, you may be
-
little compared to all of the other glorious cities within
-
the nation of Israel, but there's going to be something
-
wonderful and spectacular happen in your little town of Bethlahem.
-
And I want you bother to ode that if you
-
will influence your children properly and correctly, out of your
-
little modest abode can come forth something wonderful. I'm preaching
-
to you right now. We are already in the sermon. G.
-
Campbell Morgan was a mighty minister, a man mighty in word,
-
mighty in spirit, a man mighty for the truth. He
-
fought the battles of the Lord violently. If I'm telling you,
-
he took the kingdom by forced brother Nathaniel. One time,
-
a visiting minister was sitting at the dining table with G.
-
Campbell Morgan and his four sons, and that visiting minister
-
looked at those five preachers.
-
That's right. All four of those.
-
Boys were ministers of the gospel. And those boys really
-
really had it just like their daddy did.
-
And the minister said.
-
Not to bring forth a spirit of competition here. I'm
-
just curious what each one would say. Who is the
-
greatest preacher at the table?
-
I believe it was the eldest son.
-
One of the sons looked around and said, should I
-
say it?
-
And they all gave him the naught of approval, and
-
he said, our mother.
-
Our mother is the greatest preacher at this table. She
-
was seemingly a no name friend. But that man, the
-
Reverend G. Campbell Morgan, knew who that woman was in God.
-
Her children, her four boys that were ministers.
-
Knew who that woman was in God.
-
And I want you to know this morning, Mother's you
-
are greatly appreciated, and you need to continue to influence
-
your child in the ways of the Lord, because if
-
you don't, they will end up being taken by the
-
talons of Satan.
-
He will not only pull.
-
Them into this world, not only will he pull him
-
into addiction. Not only will he pull them into all
-
manner of vices of sin.
-
He will pull them into the lowest regions of the
-
damned hell.
-
Five.
-
And I don't want it to happen.
-
So mothers, maybe you get a hold of your child
-
by the ankles and drag them spiritually, speaking to the
-
House of God, and train them up to the ways
-
of the Lord. Let's hear what the Holy Ghost would
-
say to us through Isaiah fifty four and verse number seventeen,
-
Brother Nathaniel, no weapon that is forced, no weapon that
-
is formed against these shall prosper. And every time that
-
shall rise against the in judgment, now shalt condem This
-
is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and
-
their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
-
How many of.
-
You believe that no weapon formed against the.
-
Child of God shall prosper.
-
We're gonna look at some women that believe that wholeheartedly,
-
Brother Jesse one.
-
Peter, chapter number three, verse number seven.
-
Likewise, ye husbands twelve with them according to knowledge, giving
-
honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and
-
as being heirs together of the grace of life, that
-
your prayers be not hindered.
-
All right, So we give honor to the mothers today.
-
And you, husbands, you look upon your wife sometimes as
-
the weaker one emotionally. She's not necessarily weaker physically, and
-
she is not necessarily weaker mentally or intellectually, but she
-
is weaker emotionally. But I want you to know that
-
sometimes those that are the easiest to crumple under the
-
load and fall on their knees and collapse in their
-
spirit to brokenness and say God, I can't do this myself,
-
I need divine intervention. Somehow they come out on top.
-
Somehow they come out as victors instead of victims, because
-
they know how to allow themselves to have that contract
-
and meek spirit.
-
Let's stand for the reading of our golden text.
-
Man, direct your tention to Judges Champion number four and
-
verse number twenty one, the Bible said.
-
Then JL Hebrew's wife took.
-
A nill of the tent, and took a hammer in
-
her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the
-
nill into his temples and fastened it into the ground.
-
For he was fast asleep and weary, so he died.
-
Then J. L.
-
Heber's wife took a.
-
Nill of the tent and took a hammer in her hand.
-
Again.
-
I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost titled
-
the Nill of Jail. May we pray, Heavenly Father, we
-
love him, We praise you, We thank you for the
-
opportunity to be in your house today. I thank you
-
for these mothers, each and every one, natural mother's, biological mother's,
-
step others, hope, God's spiritual mothers. Thank you for these
-
mothers that are in this place today. I pray that
-
you would anoint this thy servant, set a guard of
-
my mouth, and help me to say those things that
-
you would have me to say, nothing more or less.
-
I know what the ears of the mothers, especially today,
-
I know what the ears of the others. I pray,
-
Hope God, send a guard of their ears and help
-
them to hear what it is that you intended for
-
them to hear, as you put it in my heart
-
four to five hours ago as to what to say,
-
and started the spirit of God speaking to this people.
-
May I stand in the gap today as your oracle,
-
ordained of God. I need you desperately, for without you
-
I have nothing. Let the sayings go below the shoulders
-
and ebsaturate.
-
The spirit and the soul.
-
Let some mother today be convicted, and let her use
-
her influence for good. We'll give you the praise and
-
the honor to glory in Jesus' name in the church. Amen,
-
as you're being seated, If you are a mother, look
-
at a mother nearby and asked this question, say hey.
-
Neighbor, are you that woman? All right? We'll see here
-
in just a little while.
-
Our text is found in an Old Testament book of
-
the Holy Bible.
-
The Book of Judges is a wonderful book.
-
At a time when men and women chose to do
-
whatever they deemed to be right, the Lord at times
-
would look upon their pitiful condition. After that they acknowledged
-
that they had been miserable failures.
-
And after that they had repented for their wrong.
-
Doings and for the gross and nots the gross sins
-
that they had committed. God would raise up special individuals
-
whom they would know to be judges or deliverers that
-
would bring them out of captivity back into the lands
-
of their nativity. Also, these judges and deliverers would deliver
-
them from strong oppression. We will be looking into this
-
a little deeper this morning than we have in the
-
past brother Jesse. This Book of Judges is a historical
-
and national record of the mighty male judges of Israel.
-
We read of some great women as well. These women
-
were not a list celebrities. They were not people given
-
to fame, fortune or fashion, but they were God fearing.
-
The women I want you to know these two.
-
Women were God fearing women that were not given to fame,
-
fortune or fashion, and they were mothers of Israel. They
-
were women of great renown and reputation, namely Derah the prophetess.
-
She was the greatest.
-
Woman of God recorded in the Book of Judges, and
-
she had a tremendous and positive impact because of her influence.
-
Again reminding you that a dear brother, sitting on a
-
front pew of this church called the Bethel Holiness Church,
-
a dear brother testified to you a little while ago,
-
not being pressured by anybody to say it, even though
-
it broke his heart, he said, when my wife decided
-
to go against the grain of truths and righteousness and
-
leave out of the house of God, and for sake
-
Jesus Christ, my two girls followed her on that path
-
that leads to a destruction.
-
Will Denbrah was not.
-
One to lead people down a path that seemed to
-
be right, although it leaded to destruction. She was one
-
that used her influence for the good.
-
And this woman Debrah as.
-
Well as this woman Jl, they used their influence to
-
bring forth a victory to their people, including predominantly the
-
men of the Nation of Israel. Sister Walker, their influence
-
was a powerful force.
-
In their day and time.
-
And I would like to say to Sister Charity Howell,
-
and Sister Jackie Walker, and Sister Irish Woot and his
-
sister of Francis Gail Hammond, that throughout these eighteen years
-
they have had a very powerful influence over the members
-
of the Bethel Holiness Church, as well as some others
-
that would join them along with this journey that they
-
embarked on, like the notable sister Sheryl Harrison, Sister Janet Hill,
-
Sister Vicki Smith's sister Kathy Rope Captain many others on
-
on this journey have joined up with this band of
-
people called the Bethel Holiness Church, and they have decided
-
that they can win victories as seemingly no names in
-
their prayer clauses. But as for Rock, that notable General
-
of the Israelites did. I want to take time this
-
morning to honor each mother that has helped us here
-
at the Bethel Holiness Church.
-
And let you know that I know a lot of
-
victories have been won here because of your prayers, and
-
I appreciate your outward standard that influences our daughters in
-
a positive way.
-
They are modest and virtuous because of your example. You've
-
influenced them in a positive way. I would trade anything
-
that Hollywood has as for women like.
-
Debrah and j L women of purpose. I know that
-
the women.
-
Present among us today, they are women of purpose. You
-
know a list celebrities, they're a dime a dozen. And
-
the mother of Hollywood, the mother of a list celebrities,
-
Maryland Monroe, would tell each mother that has arose in
-
the midst of a list's celebrities that there is nothing
-
whatsoever glamorous or glorious about misery of the things associated
-
with life in a Hollywood.
-
Now, I want you to know that the nation.
-
Of Israel knew somewhat about women of preeminence and permanence
-
as well. You will remember the notorious and infamous woman
-
Jezabel became the mother of Israel at some point, and
-
according to the Word of God, she was recognized as
-
an idolat and a promiscuous woman because.
-
Of her appearance.
-
I don't want anybody to turn sideways with me on
-
Mother's Day, but if anybody is a lover and a
-
seeker of the truth, they can go to the Word
-
of God and see exactly what the lifestyle of Jezebel
-
was and what the attire of Jezebel was.
-
I thank God, right.
-
Here in this building this morning, we do not have
-
any miserable Marilyn Monroe's, but we have some very wonderful
-
mothers of Israel in this precious place. And I'm glad
-
that the nation of Israel did not have any Jezebels
-
around at this time that was.
-
Ruling and running the kingdom.
-
They had a God fear woman of God fearing woman
-
named Deborah.
-
In that day and time.
-
This woman of God was a complic woman, and she filled.
-
The position and the role as a.
-
Judge, and she was a woman worthy of respect and honor.
-
She was a woman that lived in precarious and perilous
-
times within her country's history, yet she proved to be
-
precious during those times. I cannot think of anything more
-
precious to be held in high esteem in the House
-
of God than that of our mothers of Israel during
-
church crisis. We know that we have those mothers who
-
are precious and they are praying during a.
-
National crisis of These women like Denbrah and j L
-
proved to be prayers to their people in a time
-
when the notorious and infamous King of Jabin.
-
Was wreaking heaven in the land, in a time of
-
when the notorious and infamous General Cesa the Bible called
-
him a captain, the captain Cesra when he was in
-
his prime.
-
Of life as a military general. These God fearing women
-
did not accept defeat.
-
For their people know whether they believe.
-
If God is with his children, then who can be
-
against them?
-
I am sickened and my heart is broken when I
-
see the attitudes of mothers today that have them. If
-
you can't beat them, join the mentality and they just
-
throw their children to the wolfs of the world, And
-
the wolfs of this world devour their good manners, their
-
good attitudes, and their good behavior. Come they met a
-
lot of women that could have done better, did not
-
choose to do better for whatever reason.
-
I feel like a lot of them liked.
-
Faith in their heart and were ruled by unbelief.
-
They did not believe that.
-
As a woman of.
-
God they could raise up a holy children of God.
-
The dempor did not believe this deeper believe that if
-
God is for us, who can be against us?
-
Let me put it to scale for you right here.
-
Right now, This king Jieban of Canaan, and this canaan
-
I general, sister brother Jessie, they destroyed anything in their
-
paths concerning Injo nearing you. They were second to nobody
-
concerning military.
-
Equipment, they had the best of their day.
-
It's evident that they're still believe no situation is out
-
of control, so out of control for the Lord to handle.
-
And they believe no tool is.
-
Too small for the Lord to use, whether it's.
-
A praying prophicide properness named never, or whether or not
-
it's a little woman named j L with a nail
-
in her hand.
-
They believe no tool.
-
Is too small for the Lord to use. Did you
-
notice the weapon of choice that j L chose in
-
order to defeat the great General Cicero. That great General
-
Sisa had nine hundred iron chariots.
-
Could you imagine the.
-
Acres that it would have took in order for so
-
many churchs to be stored, not to mention for so
-
many to be maneuvered. What if each chariot was led
-
by two horses.
-
Or four horses.
-
If you sit on average three horses, that's twenty seven
-
hundred horses.
-
They're gonna mold down any troop that's in their path.
-
As a farmer reaping barleywood with a seat, I'm telling
-
you a brown trooper stood no chance at all. I
-
gets such a formidable foe. But I want you to
-
know this morning that the woman j l defeat at
-
such an aformidable foe with a nail, something that was
-
considered to be so small. I'm telling mothers in this
-
place today. You may feel insignificant in society. You may
-
feel insignificant in your own family tree. You might be
-
the smallest limb on the family tree. But I want
-
you to know here you can bring forth much fruit.
-
Did you notice that the woman Deborah was a praying woman.
-
You don't stumble into being a prophetes sir, that can
-
be letting the spirit of God and prophecie better than
-
the Thaniel. You know what I speak of sister Hero,
-
Sister Wood, Sister Vicki, Sister, how will y'all know what
-
I speak of?
-
We would never speak.
-
On behalf of God if it.
-
Was not for her, the Holy Ghost function and for.
-
The Spirit of God move us at times in the
-
camp of people. I want you to know Deborah was
-
a woman like this. She's facing an enemy. The men
-
of Israel are facing her, an enemy that is vast,
-
a new a teary that is large, brother that Sanduel
-
the Bible set and Judges, chapter number four and burst
-
of a twenty one. At the end of this fallow jail,
-
Heber's wife took a.
-
Nail of the temper and took a.
-
Hammer in her hand and went softly under him.
-
This does not meaning the spirit of Jezebel.
-
She seduced him, enticed him, run her fingers through his hair,
-
and slept with him. You know what this means is
-
on her tippy toes.
-
She eased in there.
-
With a general way, and she took a nail and
-
put it to his temple, and she took a hammer
-
out of her husband's twol box, and she ran that
-
nail he had ten straight through the temple and through
-
the other temple and anchored that general to the ground.
-
I want some I'm gonna.
-
Say to know today that you can pray and you
-
can anchor your enemy into a children's enemy, help to
-
a ground, I said, I'm not looking for her any
-
miserable Marling, she myself a mission, said.
-
I'm miserable.
-
I'm not looking for another dying to it. Doesn't your
-
early hide.
-
I'm looking for somebody that will.
-
Say, as for me, I real lead work my children
-
in the pass of righteousness. For his faint's sake, come
-
here for my save.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
-
He fastened me as a knell in a short place
-
because of this.
-
No weapon for him that gets me shall ever stand.
-
When the enemy comes in lack of blood. He raises
-
up a standard.
-
It's his holy ghost, standard against it, and he propels
-
against it. I'm telling you she went in softly under him,
-
and she smoked the nail. The shadow of this general,
-
Sisa had talked it and.
-
Tormented so many people. Not the presence of Sister.
-
The shadow of Sister itself would have struck the hearts
-
of those who saw it with terror. Just one letter
-
of his pining arrival would have struck terror in the
-
hearts of those that he pursued.
-
But I want you to know with courage this woman jail.
-
She did what she did for the Lord and for
-
the Lord's people. But it wasn't only.
-
The nail of the jail. There was a praying.
-
Propertes that was ruling over the nation of is Lord
-
at this time.
-
Said cause she preferred to do that. It wasn't because
-
she wanted.
-
That role her position. But God allow her to do
-
it because no man would do it.
-
That.
-
I want you to know, mother, whether your husband goes
-
or not, whether your sun God or not, you still
-
got a goal with God, I said, every God has
-
still put you in a role, had a position, her
-
motoriety home long got people love God. You find that
-
this woman never was married to a man named Lapidoth.
-
That name itself chills my blood. That name itself doesn't.
-
Make me want to fight a battle in all.
-
But you can't find in the Bible and all where
-
Lapidoth was interested and getting in the spirit. I remember
-
years ago here devote Church of God preachers tell.
-
Women, she's and only your business.
-
Your husband should be here too, because back then and
-
I've seen it even now to be so that men
-
feel the church is women's business. And you know what, mothers,
-
I appreciate every little church in the country.
-
Haven't been church in the city where women have taken
-
the things of God seriously, where they've taken the past
-
of righteousness seriously, where they've taken the course of a
-
nation seriously. Even the great President Abraham said, Abraham, me consent.
-
All that I am, that I ever hope to be,
-
I owe to my daughterling mother.
-
They come on now.
-
The great Methodist preacher John Wesley, he knew his daddy
-
was a pastor. He knew his dad was a little
-
mccunch through housdaelogically and doctrinally.
-
But he said, concerning my mother, Sue Man and Susannah,
-
she was on fire.
-
You know what she prayed one time and she.
-
Said, John, it's like a firebrand taken her out of
-
the fire.
-
That's how a man could preach her forty.
-
Something thousand times in his lifetime, A many of us
-
three times a day.
-
Because of Susannah.
-
That I'm telling you. He didn't stop with John.
-
It got off on Charles and nothing.
-
His churches are everywhere today because of more woman of
-
said my husband maybe relents us.
-
But we need the power of God.
-
John Wesley began his ministry just like his daddy had done,
-
and he ministered, and finally he got a hold of
-
what Mama had He said there in the Order's Great Street,
-
my heart was strangely warmed. And he said after that
-
he had received the Holy Ghost. That's what caused that
-
strange woman. Hey, brother Jesse. Sometimes men are intimidated by
-
women getting in the spirit in the church, and they
-
love to misrepresent and take that scripture out of context
-
that says that a woman remain silent in the churches.
-
I've never talent in the Bible when Jesus told.
-
Mery mad to leave to remain silent.
-
In fact, he said, lay the forgiving much. They don't
-
worsp much. They won't worsp much inpactic. They won't worsp
-
much in public.
-
They don't always want to high seat. They don't always
-
want to upper sit. I'm gonna say it again. They
-
don't always want that role. They don't always want.
-
To that position.
-
But mother say, if a man won't do it it,
-
sometimes you just talk to know it.
-
I've seen a lot of women say, well, Daddy don't
-
want to go to church, speaking of their her children's father,
-
Daddy doesn't want to go to church, and so we'll follow.
-
Him right in the hell.
-
Hey, I don't want to hold you too long. I
-
want to get you to the chicken house here and
-
just a little bit. I don't want to get you
-
out of here, just as soon as I can. You
-
are usually ask me to keep preaching, and we click
-
on past an hour.
-
But I want you to know we are facing a
-
formidable foe, that is a defeated foe.
-
And yea, though we walk to the valley or the
-
shadow of death, we don't have to fear any evil, for.
-
God is with us.
-
I said, the shadow of Cicera would have been intimidating
-
to anyone besides Deborah. Why was Deborah not intimidated and
-
paralyzed by the shadow or the threat or the looming
-
of Cicera?
-
Brother Nathaniel, I believe she didn't allow terror to take
-
cold and paralyze her faith because she had been praying,
-
and she had prayed so long.
-
That the holy ghost God owner and made utter in sense.
-
Has she grown into spirits?
-
And somehow she had a.
-
Feeling that everything would be all right, and instead of
-
becoming paralyzed in her mind and in a spirit the
-
propertest Debork got in the spirit and she prophesied, concerned
-
how the Lord would deliver his people from the unbrid
-
of wrath on this.
-
Powerful madman Jabin and his general. I'm telling your mom,
-
so just go ahead and go into that prayer closet
-
to close out door behind you, and go ahead and
-
rage war on the devil I slept.
-
Go ahead and pull out the hammer, and pull out.
-
The nail, and destroy the censers of your life. We'll
-
preacher of my prodigal daughter, and prodigal son didn't even
-
care enough to be here today. You go ahead, if
-
you wage war on hell and know the camvil, get
-
your prayer, cause.
-
It until the spirit says, Mama, it's.
-
Gonna be all right.
-
Will my husband's beating me up. He's tricked me. If
-
I go to the house of God, he's going to
-
divorce me.
-
You go ahead, if you go ahead and pray until
-
your teeth isn't paralyzed by anybody.
-
Is not the only time in.
-
The Bible where we find all of the men of Israel,
-
who are supposed to be soldiers and warriors paralyzed by
-
the threats or the shadows of their enemies.
-
You will remember King Saul and the brothers have daved along.
-
With aly other troops of Israel.
-
They were literally paralyzed by the threads of Delia.
-
Of death and little day that the.
-
Little shepherd Ori made all the difference in the situation.
-
Why because he knew it's not a man's battle, that's
-
not a woman's battle.
-
It's of the Lord.
-
In heaven, there will be men and women, but there
-
will be no childer. If you understand what I'm saying,
-
there won't be no marriage. They won't be given in marriage.
-
They certainly won't be getting divorces.
-
Come on down, I'm killing you.
-
In heaven, they're not gonna be thinking about to reproduction
-
or procreation. They're gonna be worship in God and I
-
came here. Sometimes it's a man. Sometimes it's a woman
-
that realizes this.
-
Ain't my battle, pal it ain't your battle, Paler, But
-
it's the Lord.
-
When you realize God you'll hurt you f you're willing
-
enough to five, it's a com It's true that in Mabel, Florida,
-
there is now a spiritual general. If you will and
-
I tell her blush I'm embarrassed, but it's true that
-
there's a spiritual general and strong leadership is not a
-
bad thing. It is true now eighteen years later, there
-
is a spiritual.
-
Leader in label that I want you to know.
-
Before that, there was a woman named Alvers Wood praying,
-
come down there in the everglade?
-
Will we ever have truth? He hold up the forest again?
-
Will we ever have a preacher of righteousness of the
-
forest again? There was a woman in a nominal.
-
Churchard named Jackie Walker saying I'm a misfit. I don't
-
fit in here. But she was praying down by the river.
-
There was a couple named Hammond. You can gellhim praying and.
-
Saying, could we ever have it here again?
-
There was a little waster on mama named body Time.
-
Ask the woman ever count it again? And her husband Johnny.
-
I'm telling you you knew what you can while you
-
can the little man, he.
-
Can tell you little here's my chuck. When God's in it.
-
He can take the handful of piscer and don't couf
-
on pieces away. They turn it into you and all
-
you can eat. Touch my ba I sat up yetto
-
as much dott it up.
-
It ain't no time to throw in the tony.
-
I said, it ain't no time to toss in the tower.
-
Ask Crisper about it.
-
That beast can't have my baby, my God in heaven,
-
my God of heaven. We can stop preaching rock here
-
and go to the altar of the chicken house. I'm
-
telling God, full of liberty of God in this place,
-
how many people have chosen rather to give up than
-
to play it through.
-
I don't know what y'all came to do this morning.
-
When I came to have church on Mother's Day.
-
I came to patribute. I came to give honor what
-
it's due.
-
That I also came to help our mothers give in
-
the spirit, because without them we were miserably.
-
Found as a people.
-
The ride itself is represented by the female gender, the
-
bride of Christ itself, the man that walked with all
-
of those apostles, the man that chose men to walk
-
with him.
-
Also, though in his unentourage.
-
On the fringes, on the outskirts were women, females.
-
Oh, come on now, they weren't groups like these rock
-
stars on the half. They weren't a little celebrities. They
-
were people that have been delivered of deafis, people.
-
Whose leper's children have been cured, people who have been blind,
-
and now we're seeing billing the thandle They knew who
-
to follow. And I want you to know, mother, it
-
doesn't matter whether the king, the prime minister, the general,
-
the husband, the son.
-
The police officer, the sheriff.
-
The librari, and the Lord the.
-
Judge wants to follow God or na.
-
You go ahead and do what God has told you
-
to do.
-
And you're bringing them children up, getting the nurture and
-
the amminition of the Lord, and you preship.
-
Him to God and say this child is yours.
-
But some many are allowing their faith to be paralyzed.
-
I guess a lot of time on social media causes
-
that I see a lot of world in this calling
-
coming into church and calls by the powerful madman of
-
social media. But after Debor got into Spirit, many knew
-
no tool is too small for the Lord to use.
-
I'm here today because of a woman named Clara Stanley.
-
I saw her many times get in the Spirit. I'd
-
see her exit out of that second piece. She'd sapt
-
right where Sister Kathy wrote cap is at and I'd
-
see her get out in the aisle and get into spirit.
-
I'd say these things to myself when I get it.
-
I want what she's got because what she has is real.
-
Would I receive him?
-
I want him in a double portion because I know
-
she's got enough, but I would not to have a
-
little more. We were not friends, per se. We went
-
to church together. She spoke kindly to me, and I
-
knew that she had got a prayer through because after
-
every service, when I was a struggling sinner boy, her
-
and her husband would seek me out and they would.
-
Meet me between the platform from.
-
Which I played the piano owner and from that second
-
pew when deliberate intentions of encouraging me, not hurting me,
-
and they would say, boy, always play that piano to
-
the glory of God, and served God all the days
-
of your life.
-
You see, out of that.
-
Very church had come forth one that would sing back
-
up vocals to Elvis Presley.
-
Out of that very little country church and day had
-
been the Sumner family.
-
Donnie Sumner's testimony is all over that Internett. It was
-
either his dad or uncle, that pastor that brandy Church
-
of God, and Elmus Presley pulled him and some other
-
Church of God boys out to him and put them
-
on the stage with him. I heard Donnie Sumner say
-
one time, whenever Elvis's strotan was acting up, he said,
-
what nobody would know. I was the one in the
-
high note the Church of God boys let out a church.
-
But that the old was born Lama. She wasn't gonna
-
lose another of moot to this world.
-
And I want you to know, I thank God for
-
every prayer that she prayed. I thank God for every
-
morning she ever gave me the truth he love.
-
Man.
-
I knew truly that woman had my best interest in mind.
-
Also had a dear mother who was quiet and meek,
-
but when the spirit of God moved on her the
-
devil rand I had a good mother of God, fearing woman,
-
a great woman of God to believed, no weapon formed
-
against you shall prosper.
-
I went to the darkest trial of my life, probably
-
ten years ago or so, by the Jesse and we
-
were staying over there at Lake grassing Inn. I stayed
-
there a lot of times. As I drove back and
-
forth from Mowberry, Florida to LaBelle. I was having a
-
major health crisis, a major health battle, being afflicted by
-
the enemy for the desire that God had put in
-
my heart to come down here. I didn't think of
-
contemplating and considering a quitting. But my wife took the
-
kids to publics there in Lake Placid and left me behind,
-
and the hounds and the.
-
Hordes of hell as simpled upon me.
-
Now, my mother never discouraged me from coming down here.
-
My mother never had words with me, never tried to
-
counsel me otherwise, never tried to hinder me, and did
-
not call me on a daily basis, nor a weekly basis.
-
I may have heard from her a couple of times
-
a week back then, maybe a couple.
-
Of times a month.
-
But as my family went to Lake Passes Publics to
-
get to some victuals for the family, the devil descended
-
upon me where I was laying all but immobilized, and
-
ten thousand voices from hell began to scream in my ear.
-
Now, I've never told anybody this.
-
I don't think my dad or any of my other
-
family's members know this, but my mother said it.
-
I've got a screenshot at an email to myself.
-
This is not a woman that's ever tried to discourage
-
me or go out of her way to encourage me.
-
She saw me as somebody that would pray it through
-
and do what God taught me to do. But I
-
want you to know the power of her mother's influences.
-
The only time in eighteen years that she has tried
-
to encourage me in such a manner. As I lay there,
-
myself on went off and I noticed there was a
-
message from my mother, and there.
-
Was a picture of a lion, and she said something
-
like this.
-
You are a soldier, you are a warrior, you are
-
a lion of a kingdom.
-
I want you to get up and do what it
-
is God.
-
Has commissioned you to do, and know that your mother
-
is praying for you.
-
I followed up for say thank you very much.
-
This was very timely. I didn't make a phone call
-
I saw that he would do.
-
I didn't after if I could come lay in her
-
lap and let her console me. I have not had
-
one conversation set that day, but I knew my mama
-
had thought, Hell, I pray your father for me.
-
I'm telling you it might sigh that difference. I can
-
give no verl you other enough, what you do, what.
-
You can't do that you can't lie again.
-
No conversation about that day, No crying over spiel milk,
-
No telling her why I was going to what I
-
was doing.
-
See all come corsas. But a work is bespoken.
-
It's like apples cold in pictures of silver.
-
Sometimes, Sister, it doesn't take you teach.
-
In a class.
-
Sometimes all it takes is well glory. Sometimes all it
-
takes is we're winning.
-
Sometimes all it.
-
Takes is somebody saying, we have the victory in the
-
name of Jesus. The victory is Howard God.
-
The judge, like Sampson, was a resident at this time.
-
The judge, like Gideon, was not president at this time.
-
God would use a woman named Ebrah to leave God's
-
people in the victory, and an unlikely hero named Jail
-
to defeat King Jabin of Canaan and the Canaanit general. Sister,
-
look at the third verse of the fourth chapter. Judges
-
noticed the weapons of war that Japin and.
-
Cicera had in their arsenal.
-
They had nine hundred chariots of iron, and they were
-
ruling the road with those chariots. Somebody sent me word
-
a couple of days ago, and they said, there's been
-
roadblocks on the highway down here in South Florida.
-
Iss is pursuing illegal immigrants.
-
Our sheriff deputies are looking for proper identification and documents,
-
and they're literally blocking the highway.
-
Now, let me ask you a question.
-
Nine hundred iron chariots like nobody's ever seen. Could you
-
imagine this morning if you had to make your way
-
to church past army tanks.
-
Or apatche helicopters.
-
They had nine hundred cheerians and were ruling the road.
-
What can a woman Deborah.
-
Do with that?
-
She can pray, she can be a top parent example,
-
she can be a godly woman. Debbor the prophet has
-
felt the same thing in her heart that Isaiah the
-
Prophet would lay her feel.
-
What does she feel?
-
A preacher encouragement because the Holy Ghost was saying something like.
-
Our brother read in Isaiah fifty four and seventeen, no
-
weapon formed against the shell prospect.
-
I can bring the prodigal son home. I can bring
-
the prodigal heart to her.
-
Census and bring her whole actor. Being bullied for twenty
-
years by Jabon, the time for victory and deliverance was not.
-
Deborah said, enough is enough.
-
Enough is enoughing devil, enough is enough. I'm not gonna give.
-
Up because my prodigal son or daughter didn't acknowledge me
-
or didn't appreciate me. I'm not casting my pearls before
-
the swine of this world.
-
I'll tell you who is the swiniest swine of them all?
-
Who is the dirtiest dog of them all? The devil is?
-
Who's the swiniest swine of them all? Who's the dirtiest
-
dog of them all? The devil?
-
You're gonna cast them.
-
Children before the devil. Merland and Roe died poor regret
-
they'll do know that, right.
-
Cho Demagio, the great baseball player and the great star
-
the president of the United States didn't have enough for
-
her to bring her peace and satisfaction. I'm penn you'll
-
forget about to amos solidities, put them about to the
-
prominent people, forget about all the habit that devil is Rieka, and.
-
Just drag your little hider to a little country church
-
up and let God help you win the picture. I'll
-
tell us some.
-
Mother today you mean he day for look, you ain't
-
gonna have my baby.
-
I had a feeling that Carmen E.
-
Lane Howell, at some point in my ministry knew something
-
nobody else knew, and somewhere in the back room. Was
-
somewhere she heard something she hadn't heard any complaints about.
-
There was no work going forward to the family.
-
Pray for brother Jeremy.
-
I'm telling you the hole it ghost, it sells where
-
it there, Infirman is the hole.
-
It goes to help you, Mama with the movie.
-
Hold about God.
-
I know Cornel Lane Howell sees me a whole lot
-
more than Susannah Wesley saw John after John.
-
Moved to Savannah.
-
George, I know Miss Urgeon didn't see Charles as much
-
as Carmen de Laine Howell here sez Jeremy.
-
It's Carmen de Lane Howell.
-
Don't get to see Jeremy too much right because of
-
the ministry. But she's never let that hurt or hinder me. Mama,
-
this fullest songwriter said, Mama, don't let your babies grow
-
up to be cowboys.
-
Are you a women?
-
I'm gonna tell you something right now. Don't let your
-
babies grow up with be hillions. Don't let your babies
-
grow up to be one and a Began. I don't
-
want to be just one of a Began or one
-
of seventh Begion. I want to be one of the
-
chosen few, one is faithful, one who believes in deliverance
-
for God's peothful. What about it, Mama? Is enough enough?
-
Are you tired of what the devil's doing to you
-
and your children and your family? Are you sick and
-
tired of it? You know?
-
Whatever it is? Whel got sick and.
-
Tired of it, and they started crying out to God
-
for deliverance, even in the days of Deborah, deliverance in
-
the days of Deborah, the female judge who lived, who
-
loved to sit under the palm tree, That's what the
-
Bible said you South Florida, inc. One girl came from Pensacola, Florida,
-
about five or six years ago. She kept hugging palm trees.
-
She said, I wish I could take this up to Pensacola.
-
We don't have them like this where they grow the
-
coconuts and all that over there.
-
I don't know if they do or not. That's what
-
she said.
-
She says she spent a lot of time in Alabama.
-
She said, we certainly don't have them up there in Alabama. Dever,
-
the prophets like to sit under a palm tree.
-
Those of you who don't read your Bible. You're looking
-
at there right now saying is it really in there?
-
It's in there. She liked to sit under a palm tree.
-
My God didn't have it.
-
She lived under the palm tree. It's the funny how
-
the same ones that came to the one sitting under
-
the palm tree to hear from God, God encouraged suddenly
-
because they don't know to do what God told them
-
to do.
-
Now you're living in Egypt. When was Canaan Egypt as
-
it ever been? The Canaans been Egypt. Egypt represents sin.
-
My God, I'll turn sideways right here. I need to
-
move on away.
-
From the simple trouble maker's simple mans.
-
But she loved life under the palms.
-
Why God in heaven, she loved life under the palms,
-
living under the palms. Palms themselves represent victory, I said,
-
palms themselves represent victory. Living underneath the shadow of victory.
-
All right.
-
And so she got praying about deliverance. That God spoke
-
to her while she's under the palm tree, inspired of
-
the Holy Ghost, and the Lord showed her a man
-
of war among the Israelites named Barak and brother Jeremiah.
-
She felt like maybe God would use.
-
Barak to defeat Jabin, and you know he was a
-
great general.
-
But when she prophesied, she actually went so far as to.
-
Say, this man will fall by the hands of a woman.
-
Jabin and says, sir, it will fall by the hands
-
of a woman.
-
And as Deborah prophesied to Barak, he hesitated. But God
-
said these words found in Judges chapter number four, verse
-
number six, hath.
-
Not the Lord, God of Israel commanded, said.
-
Carol, and draw toward Mount Tamer and take with thee
-
ten thousand men of the children of Napthali and of
-
the children.
-
Of a Zembulant brother.
-
Nathaniel talked this morning all the commandments of God.
-
And when God commands, you do as he commanded.
-
And Deborah's PROPHESIEDE and telling Barak, you knew exactly as
-
God has commanded, and Barock hesitates.
-
And because he hesitates.
-
God is gonna have to.
-
Use a woman.
-
And the Lord told me Rock that he would lure
-
Sisera and his massive army in those nine hundred chs
-
in the river Kishan that was in.
-
A time of tract It was a dry river bed.
-
You'll imagine with me the cursings out of the mouth
-
of Cesera as he looked at Barock and them ten
-
thousand men that stood on top of mouth Tabor. You'll
-
imagine with me, as Baroque said, Debrah, We're not gonna
-
go down and have this conflict unless you go with me.
-
Come up here, sister Hannah, my daughter, Amen, Sister Hannah.
-
Edward's unfortunately I'm kidding Sister Hannah. Howeverag sister wut my God,
-
look at your neighbors again and say, hey, neighbor, are
-
you that woman?
-
Are you that woman? Are you that woman? Dood of you?
-
Hey, Dabor, are you that woman? Barack is a general?
-
Do you still have that sword in there?
-
Get it?
-
Barack is a general. He is a highly decorated is
-
really general. And Debra's got to praying and prophesied and said,
-
gon whoop there high boy, and Barrock. He gets pumped,
-
he gets excited, he gets in the spirit, he gets
-
the pacing around. But then he hesitates because there's too
-
much contemplation on Jamin Lokta, not king and his general,
-
and he stops. He's a woking he's confident, and then
-
he stops and he looks at Debrah and he says Deborah, Deborah,
-
I'm not gonna go unless you go with me.
-
All she's got is a hanky Phul's thanking. Come on now,
-
I'm telling you, I feel the preacher in this place.
-
You've got a sword for Sia, and all she's got
-
is a hanky for the speaking. Oh, come on, I'll
-
take her praying Mama any day or week weather than
-
a champion.
-
Of the enemy camp.
-
Oh, come on, and.
-
Brother, sister Deborah, she said, in that feminine.
-
Tone of voice.
-
She said, well, i'll go, but you know what the
-
Holy Gir said.
-
I'll go, but you know what the Holy Gir said.
-
Where I've got in the spirit, it's gonna be said
-
that a woman want in the battle.
-
Say it, Hannah, Well, i'll go, but it's gonna be
-
sae sir.
-
What's your response to that?
-
Okay, let's go, Mama, Let's go, mama.
-
And they went in there there.
-
And Deborah climbed up on my tamer with Barak and
-
all of the troop.
-
Come on, I mean they have a hole inness preacher
-
in the building to get up here to represent ten
-
thousand troops.
-
Low.
-
Come on.
-
Now, I wonder what sister thought when he comes rolling
-
in to the foot Kindred with.
-
Nine hundred iron chins. And he looked up there and he.
-
Thought, we more than what the last falter. Hey, they
-
didn't send a dog out for a champion. They sat
-
rolling out to lead the battle of their God.
-
Y know, y'all look at that again.
-
Deeper's hand is not a sword in.
-
Her hand, He's a prayer of Clauter, a play alive.
-
How can I suck the middle? I'm telling you there's
-
now tool too small? I said that, no tool too small.
-
It puts a handkerchimper. He puts a pair of cooler,
-
and the nore the til there's no cools. My mister
-
calling my lady, when it's only that I had called
-
the holy rollers.
-
I send the rough upon that.
-
Gets that shapristck.
-
Bra. I want you to look at.
-
Rock as he looks upped. Cri oh, come on, not holy.
-
Is ceserl upset?
-
Now he's got red eyes, he's seeing red. But the
-
Aaron he's been insulted. But the airn Jesus angry as
-
he's ever been.
-
And you know what, never saysor goober Rock, Golberrock.
-
For God has delivered him into your head. No, I'm
-
tell him.
-
Somebody in this fielding this morning, why don't you just
-
eat what nots in today? I can't even hear what
-
that woman's saying.
-
But she's speaking to Baraque. They'll talk about it.
-
A sessu of komba. I can't even hear what that
-
woman's saying.
-
What is Nord's hands? Oh you're getting a female voice,
-
a female voice, a steel small voice. Not the stream
-
a day with the warrior.
-
Not to stream for the battle crowd of Alexander the Great,
-
not the battle crowd, but the Confederate general.
-
But the steel small voice, gol Garrock. I want you
-
to know what was of Islam every time.
-
You knew what you're doing right now.
-
And you think your old.
-
Cheer me, he your own cheer me, preach, preacho, preach.
-
Take how let you to know?
-
Look we go home and there that look out of
-
is the Lord? I say, people all over there, but
-
the battle he's not Lord.
-
Mother's going with us to battle, Mother's going with us, tomorny.
-
Something, I I will go with me. You have said,
-
I don't care. He's the Credit Games team. As long
-
as we mad, I'll never get cald a winner, mothers,
-
go with us, mothers, go with us. You know what,
-
Obama said, h Ceser begin to charge them, Cesra, begin
-
to charge them, Cesira, begin to charge them. Brother Gabel,
-
that's what it's all about, right there with my brother
-
as a medal preacher, because they're.
-
Gonna look at Gabriel. So I went to look at Gabriel.
-
Sometimes Almas got a factor, my God. If Abraham Lincoln
-
can say you're looking.
-
At one of the greatest presidents of the United States,
-
never any call to mona. If religion Christianity can say
-
you're looking at one of the greatest leaders of Christopher
-
John Weston because of Mama.
-
I'm telling you I know why this church is here. Mothers.
-
The brother Jeremiah as Deri began to pray to men
-
begin to fight.
-
You know what.
-
They charge the me israel Like warriors as they advanced
-
on Mount Tabor.
-
Cesera they charge.
-
And the Bible said, Ceser's chariot wills of the nine
-
hundred cheeriots stuck.
-
Why did his stick?
-
Because there was no more drought, The Bible said, a
-
storm came, a flash flood like we had around here yesterday.
-
Quinn saying happened I said quint, saying.
-
Happened because Denver's praying, praying, help of Jesus, Help of Jesus.
-
Help of Jesus, light them begin to flash fund, them
-
begin to roll.
-
That Cesra couldn't understand why the chariots have will come
-
in my lives, has never create heap.
-
Of Jesus, Help of Jesus.
-
And you know what the Bible said, Ceser, and realize
-
that I'm in trouble at the time I come here,
-
you represent Cester, And the miner said Cesra abandoned ships
-
on the speaker.
-
He a married in that cheer than he read. And
-
you know what, Tony, the send the men of God
-
pursued him.
-
I set them here, tied off the instram. Watch her
-
pursued him.
-
Don't stop praying.
-
Come up, don't stop praying, Mama.
-
Don't stop praying.
-
Never.
-
You may be.
-
Standing there looking upon a formidable foe, a seal of metal,
-
church and an enormous army. Beloved, but don't stop praying.
-
Because Growth was comforted by her presence.
-
Because in her.
-
Presence and in her person him the precious promise that
-
she held a precious promise through a prophecy.
-
And she told Barac, go and let God.
-
For God has gone before you had given Cesra into
-
your hands.
-
