To Psalm chapter number twenty four. Man, direct your attention
-
to one through five.
-
Brother Nathaniel Acts, chapter number seventeen and verse number twenty eight.
-
Brother Jesse's Second Chronicles, chapter number fifteen and verse number two. Again,
-
remember sister gave von Grant. When you pray, she needs
-
the prayers desperate leader. Pray for dear sister Lauren as
-
she labors and travails bringing forth the birth of.
-
Her baby boy.
-
Pray for Sister Cheryl as she continues to recover. God
-
has been good to her. We're glad she's back in
-
the house of the Lord.
-
Brother Nathaniel Acts, Chapter number seventeen and verse number twenty eight.
-
Please my brother, for in him we live and move
-
and have our being as certain also of your own
-
poets have said, for we are also his offspring.
-
Now for someone that does not.
-
Read the Bible.
-
When you heard Brother Nathaniel read that part that said
-
concerning your own poets who spoke, did your mind immediately
-
think that he was speaking of Hebrew poets.
-
He's not. He's speaking of Greek poets.
-
Brother Jesse's Second Chronicles, Chapter number fifteen and verse number two.
-
Please, my brother, and he went out to meet Asa
-
and said up to him, here ye meet Asa, and
-
all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you, while
-
ye be with him. And if you seek him, he
-
will be found of you. But if you forsake him,
-
he will forsake you.
-
Brother Jesse, did you just read to us that if
-
we seek Kim, he will.
-
Be found amongst us.
-
If we seek him, he will be found.
-
Amen.
-
Let's stand for the reading of our golden tape, Psalm
-
chapter number twenty four, Verses number one through five, a
-
psalm of David. The Bible says, the earth is the
-
Lord's and the fullness thereof the world, and they that
-
dwell therein, For he hath founded it upon the seas
-
and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into
-
the heal of the Lord, and who shall stand in
-
his holy place, He that hath clean hands and a
-
pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity,
-
nor sworn deceitfully, he shall receive the blessing from the
-
Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
-
With that sermon that brother Aaron Wood preach to us.
-
This past Friday night in mind, let's look upon verse
-
number three, who shall ascend into the heal of the Lord,
-
or who shall stand in his holy place.
-
Brother Wood preached us a sermon title finding our place
-
beside Now. I feel like most of you found your
-
place during that time of revival, but it was evident
-
to us at the closure of those final services that
-
not everyone has. And the Holy Ghost has spoken into
-
my heart to make it clear to this people why
-
you're not finding your place beside the Lord, and to
-
encourage you to find your place, and to offer information
-
that will help you how to find.
-
Your place beside the Lord.
-
The sermon title was one that the Holy Ghost gave
-
me and is titled A just your attention. May we pray,
-
Heavenly Father, we love and we praise you. We thank
-
you for the opportunity to be in your house. I
-
thank you for this, precious people. I pray for an
-
annoying thing that comes from you, the Holy One. Annoying this,
-
thy servant, said a guard at my mouth, and help
-
me to say the things that.
-
You would have me to say, nothing of more or less.
-
And on the airs of this thy people, that they
-
might hear what the spirit of God says.
-
Or to the church this morning this Sunday morning, where
-
they're gathered together, let them hear of your word. I
-
pray these days would go below the shoulders, that they
-
would saturate the soul and the.
-
Spirit, not go in one ear and out to others.
-
I pray God that we would hear heed, and maybe
-
we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully in Jesus's name.
-
And the church said, Amen, as you're being seated, directing
-
your attention again to Psalm twenty four and verse number three.
-
It says, who shall ascend into the heel of the Lord?
-
For who shall stand in His holy place. Our text is.
-
Found in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible,
-
the Book of Psalm.
-
This psalm has been a favorite of mind since the
-
days of my childhood. I'm sure you remember something about
-
the content of this chapter if you're a Bible reader
-
or a Bible student.
-
I first received.
-
Information on the content of this chapter in a Sunday
-
school class. On a Sunday morning in the Mulberry Church
-
of God. I remember a Sunday school teacher directing our
-
attention to the first few words of verse number one,
-
and those words are the earth is the Lord's and
-
the fullness thereof. It seemed like last night that God
-
began to point that out to me again, and these
-
words were lifted off of this page.
-
In other words, I.
-
Adjusted my attention once again, and I focused on that
-
fact that the earth is the Lord's and the fullness
-
thereof this earth does not belong to Satan. We will
-
remember the prayer that set God, have your all inclusive
-
will in earth.
-
As in heaven.
-
Brother Nathaniel, I've never forgotten the words of my Sunday
-
school teacher as they explained to me the same way
-
the Sweet Solist of Israel explained to the Israelites or
-
the Israelis we call them today, that the earth was
-
created by the Word himself. The earth was forced and
-
founded by the word of God.
-
Jesus Christ himself. And so the Sweet Soist of Israel felt.
-
Inspired to remind his.
-
Kinsmen and countrymen about the things that Moses had revealed
-
unto them.
-
He walked them back to the beginning of time.
-
He took them back to a time when their forefathers
-
received information concerning things that exist.
-
To this day. He took them back to.
-
The place of the days of creation.
-
I believe our little children in the elementary or the
-
primary Sunday school class here at Bethel recently heard their
-
lovely Sunday school teacher, Sister Hannah teach them on the
-
days of creation. Brother Micah, tonight we celebrate your K
-
five graduation, and from what I understand.
-
You have set the bar high for all of the
-
young people that are entering the school of learning.
-
All of my grandchildren have been challenged by the challenger
-
that walked to the standard or to the bar and
-
set it as high as anybody could sent it. I
-
thank God for a good example. I thank God for
-
standard bearers. I thank God for those that set the
-
standard high. My first born grandchild set the standard very high.
-
Moses early on he made it very clear things that
-
his forefather's knew so well, and it put it in right,
-
brother Nathaniel, and he told people about creation right off
-
the bat. David in this song reminds the Hebrew people
-
and the readers of the Sacred rit that the earth
-
is the lords. Since Jesus is the creator of the
-
cosmosa and of all creatures within every kingdom, that we
-
can conclude with this.
-
That all things belong.
-
To him, because he is creator of all things. Then
-
he is lord of heaven. Not only is he lord
-
of heaven.
-
He is lord of earth.
-
The apostle Paul.
-
Wrote these words about the Creator in his epistle to
-
the Church at Colossi and Colossians one of sixteen.
-
The apostle Palm made it clear with this statement. He said,
-
for by him we're.
-
All things created that are in heaven and that are
-
in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions,
-
were principalities, were powers. All things were created by him
-
and for him. He gave us the purpose for creation,
-
and the creatures within that creation, we are created for him.
-
It's clear for anyone to see that each author of
-
every book of the Bible, each author of.
-
The sixty six books, agreed.
-
That Jesus lessened in the beginning with God.
-
He was part of the triumph god Head. All of
-
these authors.
-
Tolis that Jesus this is the agent of creation. He
-
is creator and head over all things. If he is
-
head over all things, and he is, may we say,
-
because he is head over all things, and because of this,
-
everyone and everything is in his presence.
-
At all times.
-
But I want you to know those who were in
-
his presence at all times. Are not always in tune
-
with Him, and their attention is not always adjusted upon him.
-
I'm preaching a message tied over the adjust your attention.
-
I'm telling you what's wrong with the addict today.
-
They put their attention and their focus on something rather
-
than Jesus Christ and his words.
-
People are dangerously distracted.
-
Even in tire theories and seasons of revival, young people and.
-
Young adults and holiness churches can go without focusing their
-
attaching upon God. It is why they do not.
-
Find their place beside Him, even though a preacher comes
-
to the pool.
-
Pit or a priory lot of revival and makes her
-
clear to us that there is a.
-
Place by God that you can reach her and that
-
you can live and dwell in.
-
Why do they not get there? Why are they unable
-
to climber that mountain and acre on bed rock?
-
Why are they not building their house upon them rock himself?
-
Why are they losing.
-
Themselves emotionally, naturally, experiously?
-
Why or why or they lose in everything.
-
That God has given him under his watchful life.
-
In recent weeks, God has made it clear that he
-
is our father and that he desiyes.
-
For every being in this house and within his world,
-
within his.
-
House Cosmosa, to come to him. I want to remind
-
you of.
-
This scripture, the Bible straw nine unto God, and he
-
will draw nine unto you. Even though there's an element
-
of magnetism in the crosser and the Christ of that cross,
-
even though the spirit of God constrains, even though the
-
love of God compels, even though the goodness and the
-
grace of God trolls.
-
Why are not all being coming under him? It's because
-
their attention and their focus is not on him.
-
Because he said, if I be lifting up, he's not
-
asking somebody to recreaseiply, here must better. Samuel Stereto told
-
us nothing to do. Ever again, he's not desiring her.
-
That's somebody building on a cross, and they ask him
-
to the sin of heaven. They climbed up corn and
-
her and be executed again. He said, if I be
-
lifted up, But he was snipping up by his father.
-
He climbed up on that crosser one time, and one
-
sacrifice was enough. One death of righteous Hannah was enough
-
for all of humanity.
-
The problem to me of so we must look to live?
-
I said, you must look to live you must seek
-
up to find You're not seeking.
-
I said, you're not sneaking. You're not seeking up. You
-
are sneaking this Sunday morning. You know, I can't expect
-
a self God's people. In fact, you've already shouted for.
-
A while, as Sister Hannah saying that song, I'm a poor,
-
poor rich man. I do believe that our father owns
-
the cattle hanebio in hills, and I believe that we
-
are to inherit not a holy heaven, but.
-
The new Earth as his children. We are to be.
-
Join heirs with Jesus Christ, our elder brother. But not
-
everybody is looking for the brother. I'll tell you what
-
Moses was doing when he was climbing that mountain to
-
get in that rock. He was looking for the rock himself.
-
He was looking for Jesus. The reason why the rock
-
was following in the children of Israel in the wilderness,
-
it's because Moses was looking for the rock. It doesn't
-
matter if you're climbing a mountain or walking through a valley,
-
a crossing a sea, or rowing your pants up and tiptoeing.
-
Through a mirka.
-
The only way of rock he's going to follow you sir,
-
he said, if you're looking for it, I'll.
-
Tell you this.
-
There's a lot of things that could be visible if.
-
You would look for it.
-
I remember years ago as I was seeking the Holy ghost,
-
dear Brother, dear bel Nerd, and he approached.
-
Me while I was praying.
-
He said, seek him, only just search for him. He said,
-
young man, there are a lot of things that people
-
are overlooking without searching for it.
-
They are not looking for it, and they will never
-
see it. He said, I can tell.
-
You're in search for God. Well, I just read with God.
-
He's everywhere and all time.
-
He's an arm that present God. He's right here. He's
-
in the read with a pick at it.
-
He's in the room with a man in the bottom
-
of the ocean in a summer read.
-
He's been a person that's not care.
-
How the mood, wherever they are, God he is. But
-
for some reason, some scarily distinct. It's some forever close.
-
So I'm asking you.
-
This morning, but how we listen between you and God?
-
He's there a closeness. He's there a relationship between you
-
and God. I mean, for by Him all.
-
Things are they exist. It's in Him we live and
-
move and have our being. It's in the Lord that
-
we have our existence. It's in Him that I pull
-
there into my lungs by inhaling it. And that's here
-
the little while after. Without that, I would not have life.
-
God breathed into humanity. The breath of life, the very breath.
-
Oh God, is keeping you alive. People do not real lives.
-
The reason why they involuntary heal my soles of our
-
anetity are working her is.
-
Because her on the breath.
-
Of a life.
-
The fact that the heart is being, the fact that
-
the laws.
-
Are working, the fact that in.
-
Her organs are functioning with our orchestration.
-
It's because God send let it be.
-
But even though is a measure of grace, even though
-
there's a peasoner, they are a heart's gore knocking, there's.
-
Still sun that the same I feel, avoid what concise
-
for it in my heart. I want you to know
-
there's a special place where you got invited into. It's
-
called the soul a man time.
-
It's a god that the communist ruler or the dictator
-
is breathing right now.
-
It's a God.
-
And by his goodness and his grace that that terrorist
-
who's got fobstrapped to their body has a heart beating
-
that pops blood through the arteries and through the veins.
-
Oh, come on to that mascular system. It's God.
-
It's the Lord that worketh in you both to weed
-
on and the new of his good pleasure. The problem
-
is they don't want to do of his good pleasure.
-
Every person at some point they think him, I probably
-
should go to church.
-
I probably should treat my child different than I am.
-
I promise should become a better person.
-
Every person has something called a conscience, so it tells him.
-
This should not have tasted of that, this should not
-
have touched that, they should.
-
Not be took to that call this pressure, I'm telling him.
-
And that's why we can be said, did you not
-
walk up and down in the aisles of our church?
-
And Jesus saved to every person what he created. I
-
don't even know who you are. I'm asking you a
-
lesson right now. He's right there, He's right besides up,
-
Why does he not know who you are? About him?
-
We're all things created. It's clear for anyone to.
-
See that every author of each book of the Bible
-
was pointingless to Jesus as being head oover all things
-
amongst the church people on the island of Dominica. We
-
have a customer, and it's with a phrase that goes
-
like this. He is the head over all things. If
-
you ever visit there with us someday, Brother Jesse, be
-
sure in your testimony to include his headship and his lordship.
-
He is the head over all things, and everything is
-
under his feet.
-
Every person will become a confessor one day, but not
-
every person will be a possessor.
-
Always, come on, every niche.
-
Shallow, and every tongue that writs, whether it's the one
-
that curses God or blesses God, well it's the one
-
that curses man or bless his man. It will confess
-
that Jesus Christ was Lord.
-
Oh, come on now, but it will not.
-
Say I possessed him. Ask Lord, I'm asking you a question.
-
Why is it that you're confessing but do not possess him?
-
It's because you.
-
Are dangerously mistruking and you need to adjust to your attention.
-
What is your attention fixated upon? What is your mind
-
on right now? Is that your job? Is it? Your
-
financial situation? Is that the bills that are coming new.
-
I'm supposed to buy a flats boat tomorrow.
-
You know what.
-
I refused to look at them pictures this morning. I
-
refused to note upon that boat.
-
I refuse to give more than one minute's notice to
-
the man that said to meet me in South Bay
-
tomorrow and it's yours. Hey, how many of you know
-
you get what your paid for. But sometimes people overpay
-
for something.
-
I told you. My said, is that beautiful boat, but
-
I need to pay.
-
About seven thousand dollars less. I don't wish to lowball you,
-
I don't wish to insult you, but you think on that.
-
After two or three days, he got back to me
-
and he said, the boat is yours, if you want it.
-
He followed up with this, if you're willing to pay
-
one thousand dollars for I'll come off six thousand. I'll
-
meet you at a certain price. I said, consider it
-
pay for and considering mind, and you.
-
Get what you pay for.
-
You receive what's your sick I'm telling somebody, your Holy
-
GIRs has been telling you.
-
For a while. You want some mother in the god.
-
I stumbled into.
-
My son, I stumbled into my life in the kitchen.
-
I stumbled into the door at church. I stumbled into
-
my brother and sister at.
-
The gas station. I stumbled into my son yesterday at
-
the seven eleven.
-
But I want to tell you this, you will never
-
stumble up into the firstness God and his new brother.
-
Say her sister's half with him. Well, he wants you
-
a seek kid. Even there, he not the league the
-
focus of heretician. He was more than a gardener. He
-
was God. I'm telling you. Some of you look him,
-
must know he's a gardener. But he's God. I said
-
that he He's more than a gardener.
-
He's God.
-
Acts seventeen to twenty eight Apostle Paul speaking the Sun
-
who were acknowledging multiple gods. Brother Philip talked to us
-
about polytheistic views and polytheistic ways, how that all the
-
other gods that are in the Bible are plural in
-
nature and plural in pro plural in false existence, the
-
existence in the mind of people. But Elijah even told
-
those people concerning their purity of God.
-
He said these words, how long do you halt between
-
two opinions?
-
What he was saying to us, how long are you
-
gonna go with this unsettleness, this undetermined.
-
Mind set that you have? How long are you gonna
-
go from revival to revival, trying.
-
To decide whether to choose the ribus or Jesus, to
-
choose holiness of lordliness, to choose righteousness or unrighteousness.
-
Sir, how long are you gonna act like her? You're
-
seeking but not really seeking. I will tell you this,
-
the Bible center that can be true and every man
-
be alive.
-
That's including your statements that I'm seeking but I'm not finding.
-
Those is secret are kindness, I said, those that seek
-
or find the brother Nathaniel. It was like I could
-
feel it my spirit during the night. They're dangerously distracted.
-
Dangerously distracted. I don't need to go and listen to
-
another message the pastor preach with a similar title.
-
I don't need to go get another.
-
Sermon of antiquity from some great man of God.
-
I need to feel after him and I need to
-
find him.
-
That's what David the Sweet Somist was telling pilgrims as
-
they made their pilgrimages back to the.
-
House of God.
-
The songs of a sense that speaks of them as
-
sending up the mountain and making.
-
Their way to the Temple. As they made their way
-
to the Temple as pilgrims.
-
They begin with this lyric, The earth is the Lord's
-
and the foolness thereofs.
-
There will never be a person that tells Jesus you
-
were not there. That will never be a person that
-
will tell God you send your son. That will never
-
be a person that tells God you did not provide
-
an escape plan.
-
You see, I probably pay more attention to what was
-
preached by the young preachers of this churchyard more than.
-
Those street of Pipa I'm preaching to today. You're not
-
gonna file the Holy Ghost to in your cracker cabbet.
-
You're not gonna fine the Holy ghost in your polished cabnet.
-
Touch, You're not gonna fire the Holy Ghost to in your.
-
Workshop unless you you don't mean the need and you
-
humble yourself.
-
And truly is Chika after he so years ago I
-
was preaching here and I told this people when we
-
were but few.
-
In number less than twelve, probably, I said, Jesus will
-
show up in that larger room and he will meet
-
with you, because he's already there.
-
You just have to just your attention.
-
But a couple of services later, Sister Wood came into
-
the service and she said, while I was folding laundry
-
in my laundry room, the master showed up.
-
What was she saying by the road cap.
-
She was not saying of God that occupies her every matter,
-
every space.
-
In the cosmosa? Who walked you? How can he walk
-
in to himself?
-
God doesn't bump into himself. God doesn't have to shift
-
to get in the middle of wood and then shift
-
to get the burn of hand. What she was saying
-
is I focused my attention.
-
On him, and he was there, I said.
-
When Paul was.
-
Preaching in these people that had multiple gods, the pologistic mentalities,
-
he said.
-
Even your Greek poet said, and there he is a god.
-
Because it takes a poll to say.
-
It is heart, there is.
-
That's why I believe every atheist of the life, I
-
don't believe. There's what I guess that really speaks words
-
of truth. No lear in their heart have they ever
-
said there is no God. They've offended God, they've insulted God,
-
they've denied God. But when barn holds that little baby
-
boy in her arms, Lady, this evening or tonight or
-
perhaps in a little while, when she holds that little
-
one in her.
-
Arms, she's not gonna be foolish and say this just
-
happened into existence. It's not the procreation of Christian and
-
Lauren coming together. It is the creation of God. All
-
souls are belonged to God. I want you to know.
-
God is inserting a soul into that little baby, the
-
same way left Field gainst something inserting the first chip.
-
Into a PC. I'm telling somebody, why do you not focus.
-
You're a teaching upon God, and when you come to church,
-
A fellow Philip saying you're glad to be here, you'll
-
thank ple opportunity.
-
To be in God's face.
-
Sister, I was like, they thank God's running around from
-
this prayer request for that prayer request. That God's running
-
around from this deed to that name. God's not walking
-
into any accident. God's not driving into any sin. God's
-
not riding on just any old boat.
-
He is allwhere and all talis. This is why praise.
-
Should be continually in our mouth. He's not just in church.
-
I'll tell you I feel him as much in my
-
officer as I ever have a church. And what some
-
of you don't know, the gifts of God do not
-
only work or fox in the church house. I've been
-
in my office by myself and the Holy Ghost.
-
He move in tom truth.
-
And interpretation, and we right down what God Almighty said,
-
I'm telling you what I talk into history.
-
So he was, oh, that I not telling you God,
-
here's the creator. I'm off cosmos.
-
When Paul was speaking to the Greeks, he said this,
-
for in him we live and move and have our
-
been as certain also of your own poets have said,
-
for we also are his offspring. Come on, now, everybody
-
knows that the cosmos is not just happens. Thence everybody
-
knows there was a creator. Everybody knows that in your heart.
-
I'm telling you.
-
People can lie to themselves, they can lie with their tongue.
-
But since our childhood, most of us have heard that
-
God is everywhere at once. There is not a place
-
in the cosmos that is board of his presence of
-
the Godhead.
-
Even these United States of America.
-
When they sent a man to the moon, they wanted
-
the word of God to be read in space.
-
And that's cute. Some wonder if they really went there
-
or not.
-
I've seen the National program and i can tell you
-
it's not pretend. I've been up in the air and
-
I can tell you the creation of God. It's an
-
amazing thing. I've been several different places on the gloom
-
and admired.
-
The handiworker of what happened.
-
To be intelligent design. Oh come, now you're speaking us
-
Sunday morning, and I'm preaching to you. The reason why
-
so many are not having or move of God is
-
the pass they're avoiding in their own understanding. They're alloying
-
in your own amazination. So they're valing in their own opinion.
-
But he is God, God will be God, He will
-
always be God.
-
He's God.
-
Oh God.
-
Now he'll be God how he is. And now my
-
quest it is, so will you still be in his face?
-
The most horrifying thing about hell is that God willingly allows.
-
A chemistl.
-
Avoided in the beility of the earth to be absent
-
of His presence. Sister, would if I had to say,
-
what is your most horrifying thought.
-
That I've observed as her pastor as one's preached to
-
her for nearly eighteen to twenty.
-
Years, I would say, would be the thought of I'm
-
feeling his presence here.
-
That's the most horrifying thing about Hell.
-
It's just the how is the absence of his presence,
-
no gray, strongly, no.
-
Mercy, reagion, him not standing on outside of the door, knocking,
-
they saying, let me in.
-
It's fear of God, not bringing conviction.
-
It's a place totally void of love, full of hatred,
-
totally void of light, of our darkness, a place where
-
there's no love, deserned or detective, which is for the
-
absence of God. Do you really want to keep him outside?
-
Do you really want to leave him standing outside the door?
-
He will never be said that while you've lived in them,
-
while he was Creator, that he didn't stand outside the
-
heart's door. He said, behold, I'll stand at the door
-
and knocked. He's at the crack kids door right now.
-
He's at to evil Dictator's door.
-
Right now. He's at to evil Dictator's door. Right now.
-
He's been at your door for a while now.
-
Revival have to revival, had to revival. Brother Aaron Wood
-
he'd done, my brother Philip done this past week. He
-
called some names while I was preaching, and he said,
-
I don't understand what's happened.
-
Why are you not getting in that place that's beside him?
-
And Moses told him this. He's told the Creator the cosmos.
-
It's everywhere at every time, and omnipresent God.
-
He said, I won't go unless you go with me, sister.
-
How God was already present in Canaan. God was already
-
present in the wilderness. God's spirit was already there.
-
But what Moses was concerned about was God's spirit not
-
striving with men, and that God's spirit not going before him.
-
That was the concern of David. He said, until I
-
detect the sound of the gold Room. In the Talks
-
of the Mulberry.
-
Tree, David also said, even though I walk through the
-
valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no evil,
-
for thou wert with me. I mean, I thought, brother Philip.
-
God's everywhere at all times. There's not a space or
-
not a piece of matter that is.
-
Ford of his presence. David said this, if I was
-
to go to Hell, that art there. That's not talking
-
about the Lake of firefolks. That's not talking about the
-
Lake of firefolks. I feel holy goos right now, a
-
holy ghost, not some foul spirits you've been entertaining and playing.
-
I feel a holy ghost. Name comfort that right now.
-
Amen.
-
Not only did the Greek poets speak of a God.
-
The Hebrew people's poets, priests, prophets, and preachers all proclaim
-
the omnive presence of the Lord. Since our childhood, most
-
of us have heard that God is ever present.
-
It's a fact. The Lord isn't staying away from anyone
-
or anything. He isn't avoiding anyone or any situation. But
-
not everyone is feeling his presence even right now.
-
Some are in his presence, Some are feeling a spirit
-
the Holy Ghost is moving the post.
-
Some but not everyone is feeling his presence.
-
Not everyone has an awareness of his presence even right now.
-
That's Holy Ghost, conviction, and power settles down in this feeling.
-
The reason this is is because they don't have a
-
close relationship with the Lord.
-
Verse number twenty seven before verse number twenty eight of
-
Acts seventeen offers this insight that they should seek the
-
Lord if happily they might feel after him and find
-
him that we'd beaten up far from every one of
-
us just a little while ago.
-
I emphasize verse number twenty eight, for in him we
-
live and move and have our been all of that
-
kind of the offspring.
-
Of God, boring out the lords of God, born out
-
of the lords of God, but brother Jesse. The verse
-
prior explains that they should seek the Lord, not seek well,
-
not seek fame, not seek fortune, not seek a better opportunity.
-
Jesus said, seek me first, Seek the Lord first, and
-
all of these other things shall be added unto you,
-
because the truth is, we should be careful for nothing.
-
We should carefully.
-
Pray for everything that it be in a chorus with
-
God's will that we have it. I'm praying over that
-
silly flats boat. And I told him this morning briefly
-
not to waste his time.
-
On cardinal things. But I said, if it's not your will,
-
stop the deal.
-
I've prayed that before when sister hal and I were
-
about to buy houses that were halfway between Label and Mulberry.
-
One deal was sent and stone pretty much about to
-
happen the next day, and I told the Hawboll family,
-
I said it I'd have to take an active God
-
to stop this.
-
Do you know what happened? And active God happy and
-
the deal was stopped. You got your board to We're
-
gonna put the monkey on your back.
-
It is not on God.
-
It is not on your church. It's not on the preacher,
-
it's not on the advantageless. It's not on the sweet
-
Songst of Israel, Dave. But it's not on the Apostle Paul.
-
It's not on me, my Moses, the lowgiver.
-
It's on you.
-
I set us on you.
-
If you're a secret of.
-
Trink, you will find it.
-
If you're a secret of culturity, you will seek out
-
teach us because of those.
-
Itching years, and you will find them.
-
If you're looking for somebody to condone homosexuality, you will
-
find it.
-
Why the Lord created each one of.
-
Us at his time, in this time of history, because
-
he wants us to seek and find him.
-
That's what this is about. Pastor meet my men.
-
And Moses found Jesus in his lifetime. Father Abraham, the
-
father of the faithful, found Jesus in his lifetime. Keen
-
David to sweech, so mister Israel found him during his lifetime.
-
David reflected upon creation in the twenty fourth Psalm. He
-
confirmed the Lord Jesus as the creator, just like the
-
Apostle Paul reflected upon the record of Moses. Both of
-
these men said, Jesus is Creator. It is possible through God,
-
you choose not to serve the Lord. If happily we
-
might feel after him. If we seek after him.
-
We'll find him.
-
That's what Apostle Paul said. That's how Apostle Paul encountered
-
the Lord Jesus on the road to the mastership. Personally,
-
I believe after the martyrdom of Stephen, and after the
-
testimony and the faithful witness of the martyr Stephen, that
-
Apostle Paul was seeking a.
-
Deeper walking experience in truth. That's what I believe.
-
And because of pressure within religion, he was doing things
-
just to do them to please the preacher, doing things
-
just to please the Sanhedrin, doing things just because he
-
had orders from the powers to be to go persecute
-
the church.
-
But inside of his heart, I believe he was a
-
true secret A man like Stephen should not have died
-
like that. The blood's patter that ruscious man cried out,
-
just like the blood's patter.
-
Of righteous ain't gonna cried out. That's why whatever Paul
-
fell off of that mighty steed into the sandy dunes
-
and asked the.
-
Lord good question, who are thou, Lord Jesus, said, O Jesus,
-
who now persecuted Paul realized at some point, I'm not
-
persecuting Stephen. I'm persecuting Jesus, my God in Heaven. I
-
support your realizer.
-
You're not a probable to the preacher. You're not a
-
problem to you. You're a coble. That's Jesus.
-
And when you come in our senses and realize you
-
need an alignment and you need an adjustment of attention, God,
-
my God, somebody, I'll tell you if I ain't gonna
-
come to any movement or any church of the lust
-
thus secret, if your secret, you'll find it. We know
-
how to get in touch with the Lord. We know
-
what we need to do to maintain this closeness in
-
this relationship.
-
With the Lord.
-
The prophet cheer of mine said, we will seek him
-
and find him. But he stated a contingency. We must
-
seek him with all of our heart. I said that
-
you put prophet Jeremiah that.
-
Was trying to help him.
-
He speak over to your state notes. He said, there's
-
a contingency. And that's what God's been saying for some
-
time now.
-
You are not needing his terms and his conditions. You're
-
not pasting, you're not hungr you're not seeking why not
-
and just your attention you could play the servants of
-
Pastor Howell.
-
Days, days and days and for days.
-
Brother Wood pulled up in our business yesterday. I didn't
-
even know he pulled up. Apparently Sister Howard stiffed outside.
-
Of the vehicle.
-
We were getting ready to leave in and she did something.
-
And she got back in and she said, our pastor
-
was preaching.
-
I said he was.
-
She said, yeah, Brother Aaron just pulled back there to
-
the shop and our pastor was preaching.
-
I said, how about that? Said he was listening to
-
his pastor preach. I didn't hear it, but you know
-
what she did. The brother Wood had me preaching.
-
She said the windows was down and he was listening.
-
If his windows were down, then I'm sure every time
-
he came to a stop signer, some pastor by, somebody
-
nearby heard the preaching.
-
But I doubt they even heard the message. The messenger
-
is speaking, But are you hearing the message? He that
-
hath ears to hear? Let him hear what the Spirit
-
of God says only the church. If you will seek
-
actor righteousness, he will rain righteousness upon you.
-
I said, if you're really seeking the Holy Ghost, you'll
-
have him in tonight's service, if not this.
-
Morning, is heard this.
-
Amend Oh, I feel like God is speaking to somebody.
-
He's a speaking, but are you seeking? He's a speaking,
-
but are you seeking?
-
The Prophet's Herema said, when you saw him with all
-
of your heart. It's true he is everywhere at every time.
-
But as each one of us searching for him.
-
I searched for a k O. I've heard gospel.
-
Singers singing this song. I kept on searching till I
-
found it. You know what, It's a two way street,
-
the wrong of reciprocity.
-
He draws and you draw nine. You draw nine and
-
he draws nine. He wants the drawing to be on
-
both ends.
-
Go come on.
-
Now, That's how you know you're called the treat preacher.
-
You're feeling it on your end, and God's feeling it
-
on his ear, and your pastor's feeling it to the
-
church feels it to We can tell when a true
-
seeker of the Holy Ghost comes in. And I could
-
grow frightened out with Sister Grays up, got an audience,
-
up with a king. He's been here all alone, Sister Grayson.
-
He's been sitting in that pew between you and Sister
-
Painter for a long time now.
-
But you've got a hold of his hand and you
-
walk down to the altar, and you know what, You
-
be different ever since that night.
-
You shoot what I'm talking.
-
They preach about an end time revival, but they ain't
-
searching part kept all sorts of kept off section, turn off.
-
Search and c pound the.
-
Apostle.
-
Paul told him Greek people, I said that if happily
-
filled out there, you'll find him. He's right there. The
-
truth is looking you in the eyes. Pilot, kiss the sun.
-
Rest to be angry with the wicked every day, kiss
-
him on the cheat. Pilot embraces truth.
-
I don't know about you, but I search for the
-
things that I want, and I search for the things
-
that I can't find that I want the things that.
-
I need to find at the moment.
-
Sister Howel and I walked out of our house the
-
other night. We closed the door, and she said, do
-
you have the house key? I had a lot over
-
my We was headed to revival, and for the first
-
time I couldn't locate the house key. I'm a creature
-
of habit. When I go in the house, my wallet
-
goes on one shelf and my keys hang on aen.
-
I raised my kids that way because about thirty years ago,
-
I decided I would not go searching for my keys
-
in case I needed them immediately to take a baby that's.
-
Rupture in her hemorrhage Internally, I told Brother Jeremia, the
-
reason I'm getting gas when I bumped into him is because.
-
If there's an emergency near in the middle of the night,
-
I don't want to search out a gas station.
-
And it's hoping.
-
But as we were headed to Revival, she asked me
-
a question she's never asked me before.
-
She said, do you have the keys to the house?
-
And I always had the keys to the house.
-
And I tapped this pocket, and I tapped that pocket,
-
and I said, no, I don't And I went to
-
where I had.
-
Left him all the way, and they weren't there. I
-
wasn't turning the house upside down.
-
I wasn't doing like some of you doing, running the
-
officer and looking outside on the lawnboard, and looking in
-
the grocery, looking in the back to the trunk of
-
the car, looking out there on the basketboat. Somebody just
-
randomly lay things here and there. But I'm a creature
-
of purpose and a creature of haboca and butter stiring.
-
I knew if they.
-
Ain't on their keyring, they're either out here in the
-
vehicle and there's somewhere nearby.
-
We didn't panny cot just to how to pull.
-
My suit come back, and hanging right here on my
-
pocket by the little doughnut keychain.
-
Was the key to the house.
-
I'm telling you it was right there.
-
It must side up but gets me and I would
-
have never knew it unless I went looking Forker. And
-
I'm telling you, as sister Root, my sister Walker up
-
the morning girl stuff?
-
Is that mecca? They already know that. I said, I
-
know what I gotta hold.
-
On this morning up.
-
I ain't gonna go looking for it. I ain't gonna
-
go looking for another servant. I know this is no
-
one of God who I go.
-
These preachers make me nervous when church is starting and
-
they hear somebody get annoy it testify and they go
-
searching through their notebook for a different mission. Don't you
-
realize it's between five and five hundred people in that
-
building that just because one person got annoyed it and testified,
-
that does not mean that's what you're supposed to preach.
-
Hold, we don't switch horses in the middle of the creek.
-
When it comes to this, we must preach sermons that
-
are specific.
-
After seeking the Lord just said, I'm not gonna go
-
up to let you go with me.
-
I said it earlier. He wasn't asking God to shift
-
from Egypt to Canaan. God has already in that bush
-
before it was burning. The Bible said, he turned some
-
of you have turned me off by now.
-
It's just about to get good. The Bible said. We
-
all that shipherd herding them sheep on that farmland. He
-
heard a noise.
-
He looked at a bush that had been there any
-
other day of the week. God had been in that bush.
-
God had been in the sap, in the vein of
-
that bark, in that tree.
-
He looked, and brother Jonathan, the Bible said, he beheld
-
the bush is on fire. Just ain't that perverted brother
-
in the church staring at his sister while she shouts,
-
you ain't gonna get your blessing but home. It'sist that, Elizabeth.
-
You'll take on your fancy all the way to Hell.
-
You'll get your blessing. Beholding the boosh?
-
Is it burning? Wise?
-
On fire?
-
That husband and wife on the road to a mass.
-
I prayed and fasted for years and started studying the
-
scriptures in depth. I got to looking at the various
-
accounts of that, looking into gospels, and then I even
-
felt like the Holy ghost folk something that matches up
-
with what the Word says.
-
God showed me that it was a man and a woman,
-
a husband and a wife. Oh my God, he said,
-
whenever he begin to open unnose to scriptures, they're walking
-
right beside him. I'm preaching like an evangelis now, ain't
-
They're walking right up beside him, shoulder and shoulder.
-
He talked, a Bible. It's just how slow and heart
-
to believe all that?
-
The trumpet says. I know that revival wasn't a coincidence.
-
I could tell Brother Wood was on fire. I can
-
tell Brother Jesse he was on fire. I could tell
-
Brother Nathaniel was on fire. I can tell Brother Samuel
-
was on fire. I can tell by the Samui stare
-
it was on fire. That night he came a pastor
-
and said, God, use your sister. He'll three times in interpretation.
-
What amazes me exactly what you two said is what
-
I would have testified on tonight had I been called on.
-
Opened your eyes and see when he opened up to
-
us the scripture.
-
They said, then our heart not burn with and well
-
open your eyes if your heart's burning, open your heart
-
if your eyes are burning. When you have seek for him,
-
saw after him, will all of your heart.
-
I'm seeking him. I'll tell you what I feel in
-
my spirit. Come nine fifty seven am on Sunday.
-
Morning, you're seeking the Lord. Come six pm Sunday night,
-
you're seeking the Lord. And come seven fifteen on revival,
-
you're seeking the Lord. I'd find him if I could.
-
You can.
-
He's not far from you. My heart's breaking for you
-
right now. I don't know what else we can do.
-
We've opened under you the scriptures. Our hearts are burned.
-
We've said.
-
Look at the bushes burning, Look at the annoying to God.
-
Look how God's lighting these ordinary bushes on fire. Look
-
how God's turning ordinary farm land in the holy land.
-
Look hout, God's taking.
-
Ordinary men and making creatures out over. Look at how
-
God's using people. They're feeling at you. They're finding him.
-
You know what, even after you get saved, after you
-
find him, you're still searching for him.
-
You continue to search for the Lord.
-
Day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute, and
-
second at the second. I'm gonna say this again by
-
the same to how if I know where it is,
-
I don't go searching for it.
-
But when it comes to the things of God, you
-
have to search for him for the rest of your life.
-
If by Walter's screw driver goes missing, I'll look in
-
the most likely place where I could have clipped them
-
or left them.
-
Some of you don't even know where you left God.
-
In the Book of Revelation, it was said I have
-
some what against you because you have left your first love.
-
It does not say lost.
-
You didn't accidentally lose it like that man did his
-
sword as he ran from his enemies.
-
You ain't accidentally lost to a victory.
-
You haven't accidentally lost your annoying and you have an
-
accident that you come out.
-
Of focus and out of adjustment. I'm preaching the message
-
the Holy Goos title that just your attention.
-
If you're focused on chicken right now, you won't even
-
take time to say hands at the church. You're gonna
-
go find chicken right If you're focused on Jesus right now,
-
you'll meet him right here at this altar.
-
Why don't we have to meet him at the altar.
-
If that's where he drew you to, that's where you
-
need to be. If he's drawn you to a burning bush,
-
you need to be at a burning bush. If he's
-
drawn you the banks of the red seat, you need
-
find him at the banks of the red sea. Aren't
-
we always in his presence?
-
Pastor? That's what you've just preached.
-
Yeah, but you're supposed to be constantly searching for and
-
feeling after him. You will seek me and find me
-
when you seek me with all your heart, when you
-
seek me with all your heart, Brother Sam And I'm
-
gonna ask.
-
You to do something. And the nosy people, the three
-
to five that I'm preaching to let me fold this.
-
They're gonna watch it just like they did this morning.
-
Was just the hand I was singing with the anointing.
-
They watched to see his brother Jesse don't sing another
-
voice another verse. His Pastor gonna ask brother Jesse and
-
brother Nathan, you'll play a little longer. They look, Sister Howell.
-
They focus on what they want to focus on. They
-
wonder what's next, as though they're waiting on it to cease.
-
And then what else is next.
-
Well, everybody else is looking up toward Heaven, reaching up
-
toward Heaven. Their eyes are focused on the Lord.
-
There's literally something you notice everything that goes on in church.
-
But what you need to notice.
-
I've heard for years of some people to set at
-
the back of the church simply for entertainment purposes and
-
to watch what's going on.
-
Perverts do that. I've dealt with those kind of perverts.
-
Gossip godlins do.
-
That, river rambles do that.
-
But I'm gonna ask Brother Sam gonna hide that handkerchief,
-
and I'm gonna ask.
-
Nobody to watch him.
-
He's gonna go towards the.
-
Back, and he's gonna hide that handkerchief. He may hide
-
it in the men's bathroom. He may hide it in
-
the nursery.
-
He may hide it in the vestibule. He may hide
-
it outside.
-
He may hide it.
-
In the same booth. He may hide it in the
-
whole barrel.
-
He may hide it somewhere. And the truth is it's
-
in this building.
-
The truth is some of you will walk past it,
-
Sister Howell, some will be literally within its reach. Brother Wood,
-
you sit in a message a couple of years ago,
-
I said sin is reachable and so is God.
-
It's what you're reaching for. Oh God, I'm It's like
-
spilled points Syster, Howell that a woman is spilled.
-
She gets a broom, she starts sweeping, sweeping and seeking,
-
sweeping and sneaking.
-
Until she finds it too.
-
It's like the Father of the prodigal every service that
-
they're really praying for, and says to Howell that they're
-
really carrying a burden when that back door opens, they
-
want is at my child? God forbid that one of
-
my grandbabies ever go out into a world of sin.
-
But I will tell you this, I will be praying,
-
and every time them double glass doors open, I won't
-
have eyes in the back of my head. But Brother Wood,
-
I would be asking, is that them that just came in?
-
That father stood at the gate and he was watching
-
for that son to come home. And the Bible said
-
he ran to him and he kissed him.
-
He was seeking him.
-
The closeness. Where's it at the relationship? You've heard of
-
marital relationships unwinding, busted.
-
Apart at the seams, wearing out to a frazzle.
-
Why because they forgot to adjust their attention, refocus on
-
what matter.
-
We will seek him, and we will find him when
-
we've sought with him.
-
For all our heart.
-
What was it?
-
The Lord told Asa?
-
What was it?
-
The Lord told Asa, He told him that he was
-
with him. While he was with him, the Lord told.
-
Asa, I am present with you as long as you
-
are present with me, and said the Chronicles fifteen and
-
two a cent. And he went out to meet Asah,
-
and the troph had said up to Asa, here you me, Asa,
-
and all Jude and Benjamin. The Lord is with you
-
while you be with him, And if you seek him,
-
he will be found of you. But if you forsake him,
-
he will forsake you. Here's what brother Wood did Friday night.
-
Here ye me dealing, and all Bethel and all of
-
the Cosmos. The Lord is with you, dealing while.
-
You be with him.
-
Do it, and if you seek him doing you will
-
be found to him. It's Jesus to the Roman gods,
-
he said, whom seek ye? Jesus asked the question, why
-
seek you the living.
-
Among the dead.
-
The presence of the Lord is everywhere, but not every
-
person is in close fellowship with the Lord. By is
-
this the Psalma said the lions and the cubs of
-
the lions. They're weak, and they're hungry, and they suffer
-
for lack of food. But those who seek the Lord
-
do not lack any good thing. And a paraphrase, But
-
those that seek the Lord do not lack any good thing,
-
the prophet Isaiah said, and a paraphrase. So for yourself righteousness,
-
break up your fellow ground and reap all.
-
Of these wonderful things. Put him first.
-
Seek him first, and then you won't be worried about finances.
-
Seek him first, and you won't wonder where mister Busin's
-
rights coming from.
-
Seek him first. I've heard people just seeking him to
-
let him know they love him, and being healed.
-
Sister Howell, just trying to seek for truth and righteousness
-
and preach truth and righteousness.
-
I had been healed, and just.
-
Trying to seek a closeness of fellowship. For God to
-
help my brother and sister. For it is time to
-
seek the Lord, Hoseiah said, For it is time to
-
seek the Lord until he comes and showers righteousness on you.
-
O fair phrase, He'll reigin it upon you, He'll shower
-
it upon you.
-
Listen.
-
You won't have revival unless God is part of that process.
-
And I love this when the Holy Ghost led me
-
to the scripture, brother the famiel, what will we do
-
without our helper, the Holy Ghost who helps us work
-
for him?
-
Right? But Amos was preaching, and Amos.
-
Said he that made the seven stars and old Riley.
-
Oh God, I feel like the creator couse most.
-
Has to stoop so low to ask somebody seek me.
-
God's not played hide and go seek with anyone.
-
He's just saying wake up.
-
And I told about Sister how Is you were doming
-
that life, and I said, honey, there's something on my
-
mind I can't shake.
-
That's what I heard of my spirit.
-
Wake up, wake up. And then I felt this title.
-
Adjust your attention, Brother Caleb. I can tell you've been
-
to the optomistress. I commend you for wearing eyeglasses because
-
they're needed.
-
I commend you for that.
-
I remember when a brother of mine first started telling
-
me his vision was faming. We discovered that on a
-
road trip and I realized he couldn't read the road
-
signs and he was seeking out help and assistance from me.
-
And I was navigating, saying, hey, you gotta turn here,
-
you gonna take a long turn. This morning, God has
-
showed you how to do what Daddy preached to you
-
Friday night. This morning, Bethel, God has showed you how
-
to do what great man of God brother would preach
-
to you.
-
Friday night.
-
The blind had found Jesus blind.
-
Bartimaeus, who did not have natural sight, failed after him
-
till he found it. When you search for him with
-
all your heart, Brother Jesse, when you come to the piano,
-
a fool though a wayfaring man, and the Bible said,
-
he will not err in this way. It's so clean,
-
it's so simple. Sister Howell, you told Sister Grace Friday night.
-
You said, Sister Grace, I have come to the understanding
-
this very night that it's a choice.
-
During that youth choir song.
-
Friday night, the Holy Ghost moved in an amazing way,
-
and I'm hoping they'll sing that again tonight.
-
I love that song.
-
In there.
-
I believe it said something about choosing joy. Does that
-
right sus to how it's a choice.
-
A little later, we.
-
Had tones in interpretation, and people have messaged this church
-
asking for the exact writing on the interpretation that was
-
given Friday night. People have gone out of their way
-
to message to churches say we want to do exactly
-
what God said. We heard it, but we want to
-
make sure we heard it all. The Lord spoke so
-
clearly about the son of Nun Joshua, who pulled if
-
you wouldn't preach for people, And the Holy Ghost pointed
-
out something I've never thought of.
-
Moses's minister.
-
The Holy Ghost pointed out the minister servants of our
-
Moses Jesus minister servants to the Lord had pointed us
-
to Christ. That's what evangelism is about, brother Stern. That's
-
why you'll stand out there next Saturday, if not this afternoon.
-
You're pointing.
-
Behold, look, just your attention. If you don't pay attention,
-
you're gonna miss it. Bob, you're gonna get so bite
-
with them babies. You're gonna miss it. If you don't
-
pay attention, you're gonna miss beautiful opportunities in that marriage.
-
If you don't pay attention, you're gonna miss beautiful opportunities
-
in their childhood. These altars are open right now, and
-
for three to five years we've been pulling.
-
Nobody has got to pray again. And all I can do.
-
Is every person in this building that's got a closeness
-
or relationship for fellowship. For God says to how every
-
person maintains that closeness in that fellowship by seeking him?
-
How are you gonna touch him right now?
-
Oh guys, oh God, they're preaching revival in the last way,
-
but they're not seeking down with all of their heart.
-
I'm not saying they're not having services. I'm not saying
-
the Lord's not making an appearance. Revival won't come without
-
heartfelt seeking.
-
A gest your attention. Forget about dinner right now and
-
focus on Jesus. Forget about work right down. Focus on Jesus.
-
Seek him that maketh the seven stars. And the more
-
I seek him, the more I find him.
-
That's what I want to tell somebody.
-
From experience, I can say, the more I seek him,
-
the more I find you.
-
The closer I look there I have with you. Take
-
a closer look and gest your attention. Just don't care
-
about what really matters.
-
I find that place beside your trace the Lord God
-
bless you.
-
It's reasons from my brother.
-
He's letting me breas the Lord.
-
All around in touch Jesus.
-
It's all that man mad of you. You'll never be said,
-
must really.
-
Seek he imprecious person. While he may be found dear
-
to him, all die unting him, while he's a side
-
of him, while his spirit calls, while his spirit beckons
-
come on taking himself seek him, while he may be calling,
-
while he's a couple of purs We know God's near
-
to help him. He's not going to be to perish.
-
Just put focusing on what is at gesture attention in
-
the name of Jesus.
-
At gesture attention in the villages.
-
Yes, ch Jesus, it's all that really bad in your life.
-
Believe every.
-

-

-
