I mean, I'm so thankful for what he's already started doing.
-
It meant the wonderful way he's blessed us.
-
You know you only get this they man, if the.
-
Lord's around, you only experience this Amen, in the presence
-
of Jesus Christ.
-
They been to try you and God.
-
It only brings this type of joy Peace, Amen, Praise God,
-
contentment Aymen, assurance a man even name off everything, Amen,
-
a person of might experience Amen.
-
For good Amen, and brand you've ben a trip. It
-
that to God because the devil ain't got nothing to do.
-
Amen with you feeling Amen good about it? Praise God. Amen,
-
I'm so thankful for being here this morning.
-
A man. I we're gonna miss our pastor over the
-
next they've been a couple of days. Amen, when we
-
thank the Lord of the love merger headed off the
-
celebrinat Amen.
-
Their anniversary Amen.
-
We all know the story how sister Hannah wrecked their
-
plans last year. They man and they didn't get to
-
take the trip Amen, and planned their whole marriage for
-
Amen's there. They're making up for lost time this year,
-
and then we pray God gives them safe Amen, safe
-
journey Amen of passage and brings them back to us Satemen, sound,
-
because we sure do. They ben need our shepherd. And
-
then I'm honored and humbled. I mean, I want to
-
say thank you even for their giving. I thank the
-
Lord for my pastor is leadership, and then we give
-
honor where it's due. This morning, they been realizing that
-
I'm standing in the reality of the great Man of
-
God's vision and labor of love. I mean, I'm standing
-
in the reality a man of the labor of love
-
that He has worked him Amen, and through God has
-
built Amen. So I thank God for that, and I
-
take time to knowledge it this morning, Amen, because I
-
am amen to being a partaker of it. I mean,
-
I've been as someone that was able, Amen, to enjoy
-
the blessings and the fruit of it, even if my
-
kids will when I pray to God, my grandkids and hey,
-
maybe even their grandkids we love. And the pastor stayed
-
around and good healthy man and kept kicking Amen until
-
he was one hundred and twenty.
-
Amen. That'd be all right with me. Amen. Praise God.
-
I Amen.
-
I walk, I walk wholeheartedly in unison with him, Amen,
-
and will attempt this morning to contribute what little effort.
-
I have amen to give that towards Amen, and put
-
the words Amen, his vision and contribution of small contribution.
-
This morning, a man, I want you to know, I
-
walk theymen in unison with my pastor. The Bible said,
-
happened to walk together.
-
Except they be agreed.
-
Ave answered this morning, I'm vote most grateful they've been
-
for my pastor. I thank the Lord for what we've
-
already experienced. You've been turning with me to the Book
-
of John, Saint John. Hey man, we're gonna look at
-
the Book of Saint John, chapter number twenty this morning. Amen,
-
What a wonderful day to be in the presence of
-
the Lord. Amen, on a Sunday, Praise God on a Sunday.
-
They been God. Lord, I've been good to it. He's
-
already made himself real to us. I mean he's never
-
failed us.
-
I mean this is a very it man, an important
-
passage of scripture.
-
Here, this whole chapter is Amen. Any of these chapters
-
in the Gospel that cover this topic.
-
Amen, Our imports will talk a little bit more about this,
-
and may you may think it was an Easter sermon.
-
Amen, I don't know. We'll see the Lord. This is
-
what he put on my heart, and I just couldn't.
-
They may get away from it. This is what the
-
Lord burden went with a man. I just want to
-
amen and share my burden with you this morning, and
-
try to make this make sense to you.
-
I mean, if I can. They mean.
-
Let's look at verse number twenty four and verse number
-
twenty five of Saint John, Chapter number twenty. The Bible said,
-
but Thomas, one of the twelve Cogitamus, was not with
-
them when Jesus came, was not with them when Jesus came.
-
And the other disciples therefore said, unto him, we have
-
seen the Lord. But he said, unto them, except I
-
shall see in nine hands into the nails, and putting
-
my fingers into the print of the nails, and thrust
-
my hand into his side, I will not believe. And
-
then here these two latter parts of our golden text.
-
The man is what stood at for me was not
-
with them, A man will not believe. I believe these
-
two were directly amen associated with each other.
-
Amen.
-
I believe one was the direct amen, the direct action
-
or reaction too.
-
Amen.
-
The first thing that happened, first off, he was not
-
with them, and secondly, it led to you a man
-
disbelieve in his life. I'll stress your hands forward Heaven,
-
ask God amen to help us this morning. Lord, we
-
thank you God who you were. We thank you God,
-
and treasure your spirit.
-
Lord. We treasure you're leading and you're guiding. God.
-
We treasure all that you've done this morning. Lord, we
-
can do nothing except by the powers and.
-
The truing of good.
-
Look at them, nothing except through God You and then
-
all things that come possible. We've gone through you. God. Lord.
-
We need your nor thing for that will destroy to
-
yo God. We need a praying church. We need a
-
church Lord that's thankful for your work. God.
-
We need a people with ears to hear in the
-
heart God, that is willing to be obedient God. And
-
I need Lord, a touch from heaven God that would
-
move in my life. Lord, teach me the things that
-
I should say. God would show me what I should say,
-
nothing more and nothing less.
-
Set a God about my mouth.
-
Lord, God for your glory. Let us leave this place
-
joyful and not sorrowful. And Jesus' thing we ask in pray.
-
Praise God and thank you for it.
-
Praise God, and somebody.
-
Thank the Lord.
-
If you're in church this morning in Louiyah. Thank God
-
for being in church this morning. Praks God.
-
Our Texas found in the twentieth chapter here of Saint
-
John's Gospel.
-
I mean he would call himself, Amen, the one who
-
Jesus loved.
-
If I'm not mistaken, this was written prayce got somewhere
-
around most scholars believes somewhere.
-
Around eighty five idea.
-
If I'm not mistaken it somewhere around Therefore, Amen, this
-
was not written. They meant right after the fact, but
-
a little further down the line here.
-
Amen. And that might not not be exact, but I
-
know that the fact is. And then this is.
-
Actually the reflections of Amen, an eyewitness.
-
Amen. This isn't someone that's writing it in the moment. Amen,
-
but this is John. Amen. And we know he was Amen.
-
Prace, God received the revelation of revelations. He was Amen,
-
what some people call the revelator, but really Jesus Christ
-
was the revelator Undo, his servant John, and John pinned
-
it down for its children.
-
Amen.
-
John would would if.
-
You if you think about the man that God chosen
-
and been the one God directed, Amen to.
-
Write such a foot that God would say there's even
-
a blessing, and.
-
Then you just reading it and been the no doubt
-
you've been understand the importance here of Saint John's Gospel.
-
Amen.
-
If God chose him out of the Amen, out of
-
the out of the eleven that were remaining, and said,
-
You're gonna be the one, Amen, that.
-
I revealed myself to in.
-
Such a way, Ay Ben, that it is the foretelling
-
of future invention. Theyveen the description of things they been
-
believers will hold truth to and hold dear too, Andy Ben,
-
that you must believe the being parted of Saint John's
-
Gospel must be upgraded importance in the Bible, even no doubt,
-
all of it's important. I'm not trying to say one
-
is more important than the other. And remember we must
-
we must go into this theymen with a mindset of Amen,
-
how imported it is and been that God would talk
-
to us through John here and he would pin down
-
some of these words that would be profitable for doctrine,
-
for teaching, Amen, and for the days ahead.
-
Now, I want to lay a foundation as we get
-
started here. And Amen.
-
John's Gospel. This chapter, the twentieth chapter is a it's
-
a pendulum. So to speak of of all those who
-
claim Christianity as a religion and professed relationship or kinship
-
with the One true Deity have been the trigut Godhead.
-
They before we know that if you are to be saved,
-
one of the thing.
-
Salvation hinges on and swings from.
-
Amen, is your belief that he is resurrecting, and he
-
is sitting on the right hand of God have.
-
Been making intercession for you. You must believe he died,
-
was very and rose a gila.
-
Amen.
-
And now it is your mediator, Amen, between God and man.
-
So it is a pendulum chapter here that we find
-
ourself vienna, Aymen, we must believe.
-
The account here.
-
It is the account of the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
-
the Messiah, from the dead, after he was there two days,
-
rising again on the third day.
-
An.
-
If this is the truth, we find that Aman, if
-
we find believers here experiencing, ay been what we now believe,
-
You've gotta put yourself in their shoes this morning and understand, Amen.
-
They ain't looking at.
-
It like you are.
-
It's offense unponing. They've never read about it.
-
They don't know the end of the story. They don't
-
know how this is gonna end.
-
But rather they are experiencing live have been happening. They ben,
-
You could say, man, praise God. We interrupt this broadcast
-
to report Jesus Christ is now resurrected. Amen, and Marriage
-
doesn't see him and Peter went to the two and
-
found him missing. Oh God, Then they're experiencing God may
-
been this as it happens. Mayben, if you may be
-
saying as I've already told you, must believe he came
-
to back to life on Sunday morning.
-
We I believe he is alive forevermore.
-
To make intercession, they've been, bring you and die, Prince God,
-
that which he laid down, and they been, God gave
-
him the power to take up again. No man took
-
him his life from him, aymen, but he willingly laid
-
it down for humanity. For you see the same power
-
that allowed him they beant to go into the two mutilated,
-
beating a man and destroyed, and three days later to
-
rise with nothing but scars. It's the same power of
-
God they've been that would cause new life to be breathed.
-
Into a man.
-
You beat me by the same to.
-
My intras were hanging up my pack up.
-
I mean I can guarantee you Wednesday morning, they'll still
-
be hanging up out of my packa. They're experiencing the
-
wonders of God. They've been a Christ whoever, ladd.
-
We've been a Christ, ay.
-
Man that has been resurrected.
-
No matter, we wait to see for his children.
-
Now through the book of John we find hit here
-
and then the reflections of an eye witness to the
-
great happening surrounding the works.
-
They been Jesus Christ, Dear, while on earth they mean.
-
It's evident, Amen, that John wrote to the m that
-
who's the levers to look upon these words would be
-
convinced that Jesus the Christ, even what's the Christ, the
-
son of the Living God and man? Without this belief,
-
and then you will be no. They have no Christ
-
God belief in the words or the actions taken. If
-
you do not have us settled, theymen faith and belief
-
in Christ and his deity, Andy man, you will not
-
put the trust they been in action behind his directions
-
and his commandments.
-
So this morning I'm attempting to.
-
Build a foundation briefly here they been to try to
-
help establish.
-
Dearsamen, we get started.
-
Now in John there's what's known as the seventh signs
-
I mean and John. It begins with water being turned
-
the wine and ends with Lastrius being raised raised from
-
the dead, all indicating the deity of Christ and pointing
-
to his lordship, pointing to his proper place in you
-
and ies lide ayman is it is written for a purpose.
-
John was a very decisive writer. He wrote for a reason,
-
and he he structures his Gospel and then to the
-
end that you might understand the lordship and the deity
-
of Christ. He covers specific miracles, and then we know
-
the Bible says he couldn't contain them all.
-
So why did they cover these pacific ones? What is
-
themorrow in the story? What is the methods behind the miracle?
-
What are we to get out of it? For surely
-
if there was a that there was so much data,
-
not even the libraries maymen of the world could not
-
contain it.
-
And then there must be a specific reason they been
-
Why a god that is a god directinis.
-
They've been a god of poethought and poor knowledge.
-
When we now read today in the twentieth chapter, I said,
-
that's Probaba all for my children up to learn from
-
and every fashion of their want with me. They must
-
clean from it. They must understand it. They must realize
-
why I get it. They been of those that were
-
around her, how they benefited up and those who were
-
around how they suffered. Some be defeited because of action
-
behind the words of Christ. Some have been suffered because
-
of a neglect or pay Christ. There are also the
-
revelations I.
-
Am in John's Gospel.
-
Seven Revelations my Jesus Christ from his mouth point the
-
various aspects of Jesus, the capabilities and deity.
-
He said, I am the Bread of Life. I am
-
the Light of the world.
-
I am the Gate.
-
I am the good Shepherd. I am the Resurrection and
-
the Life. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.
-
And he said, I am the True Mine.
-
Amen.
-
He is trying to uncover and make clear to us Aman,
-
this fat if child in it all in mystery a
-
man that Jesus.
-
Christ is the son of God, Deity and Holy. Amen.
-
He is the Messiah, he is the Chosen Water, he
-
is Prince of Peace, he is Counselor, he is money.
-
God who said I am the Resurrection. Why I am
-
the Light, I am the Bread, I am the God,
-
I am the Way of all that we would really
-
believe it, because then we put stuck in his world
-
when he said thou shalt na we would not we said,
-
thou shalt we would if we really believe there was
-
directly read percussions to the words of God.
-
We said we should do something. We think a little
-
more about it. Oh God, Amen, I'm trying to live
-
a foundation. We're almost there this morning.
-
Now in the Bible we also find and I and
-
then maybe I ain't smart enough about it.
-
I mean, I want to sit down with Pastor and glean.
-
From him, because we also find and we know the
-
Lord's number seven perfection. I mean, in the words of God,
-
you also find seven miracles. If my studies were correct,
-
seven miracles performed on the Sabbath. And then so we
-
see these sevens here and mean and I I mean,
-
all I know is the Lord pointed them out.
-
He I mean, and I think it's worth considering that
-
a god And mean, as I said, up.
-
Decisiveness and men did such a thing in such order.
-
Here there were seven miracles performing on the Sabbath, which
-
caused they made a little, no small sting among the.
-
Sadducees and the Pharisees and the scribes.
-
He was actually one of their biggest problems in faults
-
that they were acting them. They were able to try
-
to throw at Jesus, say man. They were trying to
-
stir up the crowds against him and man, and they
-
were trying to turn people's They've been persuasions and perspectives
-
of him. They met him twisting and saying, they bet
-
he's sitting because he's healing on the Sabbath. He's sinning
-
because he healed the withered hand on the Sabbath, love God.
-
They mean he's sitting because he did this. Noah, I
-
want to read to you a little bit here in Mark.
-
They been chaptering number two the Bible, said Mark Chapian
-
number two, twenty seven and twenty eight.
-
And he said, under them the Sabbath was made for
-
man and not man for the Sabbath. Then he sat
-
there for the son of man. Shoot is lord also
-
of the Sabbath.
-
I mean he's saying here and he's claiming he stay,
-
brother Philip, they been here.
-
He's working miracles, Amena. He's saying, this is my day.
-
I'll do my will, I'll do it my way.
-
I'm working those that need it.
-
Oh, my dear, you can't criticize God for working on
-
the Sabbath.
-
Who can't criticize God who's working in his stay.
-
They try to.
-
They try to condemn ourself because God has three wadia
-
in his house on Sunday.
-
They try to.
-
Condemn ourself because we let the Holy Ghost go through
-
this building up. That's what's destined to lend pending fight.
-
To try you, Godhead.
-
They just here then have a his way or not
-
at all. He'll need not a here if he does
-
not have these perfect ways. So he claimed this day
-
under himself. He said, I made this day for man.
-
Man was not made for the Sabbath. Here's the deepness
-
of this verse. If you want my two cents, if
-
I created a robot.
-
To benefit me on Saturday, it was made to work
-
for me. But if I made a day to spend
-
with that robot, it was me being available to him.
-
Does that make sense here?
-
God did not create man to worship him. Only the
-
Bible said Amen. In the Bible says, aymen, how can.
-
Man do it?
-
He needs not anything from man's hands. The seventh day,
-
what's made for ourself? What day where God would come
-
down and come here with humanitia the day when they
-
would gather in his house.
-
And he would do his will.
-
He would strengthen and help, He would perform miracles, He
-
would perform many mighty acts. He would work and meet
-
their needs. They would make himself obayla law on this day.
-
I mean, we ain't given God a privilege when we
-
make it out to his house. Rather, Sunday is our privilege.
-
It is our day where we could to spend with God.
-
He is a blessing to come upon and be with God.
-
He is a blessing to separate ourselves under God.
-
He is the blessing to afford.
-
Him a time on the day which he designed and made,
-
that he might bless her.
-
Wos a call on him?
-
And then you could read in March having number three
-
to me and the continuation and a demonstration stemming from
-
the above statement. Here they corner him, and they then say,
-
why are your children and men eating?
-
They man here, praace God that I leave it.
-
They wash their hands and all this nonsense they get
-
into and amen, He says, here this is my day.
-
My children will do what they want on my day.
-
If they're doing any according to my will, and he
-
gets a little they may upset with him. And he says,
-
and he entered again into the synagogue, and there was
-
a man there with a withered hand. Amen, And they
-
watched him whether they would whether he would heal him
-
on the.
-
Seventh day, but they might accuse him.
-
And he said, under the man with tad the withered hand,
-
stretching forth, And he said, under, there isn't love to
-
do good on the Sabbath, or order to do evil
-
the same life, Lord killing Remember they hell, their piece
-
didn't burst by.
-
He gets on down there, and he says, stretching forth.
-
On his day. He is lord of me, and it's
-
his way.
-
And if he said, amen, you need to do gosssa
-
been on his day, He's got to do it all
-
on his day.
-
He's lord on it. He dictates it, he orders it.
-
They mean he sets it. Arise, Wait, man, it is
-
his day, and we will rejoice and be glad.
-
Oh.
-
God attempted to put an emphasis on Jesus and his
-
proper place in our.
-
Lives, hearts and minds.
-
He is Lord.
-
Amen, he is at the top with our priority list.
-
He is our everything.
-
We see. Oh, I want to see him.
-
They been, But sometimes where are we Thomas? Sometimes where
-
are we dining us?
-
So we've bet. Sometimes Jesus comes by and Thomas sus mission.
-
And then sometimes God call up on his day to
-
work among his children a man and somebody's missing her.
-
Sometimes God stuck pire to bless you in a special way,
-
but you're missing her.
-
Oh there was still tear gather he who Then Judas
-
was gonner, he was in hell mn.
-
But Tomas, where were you?
-
Oh? There was just keen disciples and some friends here,
-
and the Bible.
-
Saidah, And then no Jim.
-
Then Tina Mess' was not with him.
-
When Jesus came, I come just briefly to talk to
-
you this morning. Oh when I saw him on Sunday.
-
I saw him on Sunday. All the benefits of park House, well,
-
the way he comes by and blesses her and restores
-
her her grandson to us aur petitions.
-
Whoa when we honor him, and then he blesses her.
-
So when we work they had him do things the
-
secret he open openly, he rewards, I said. And then
-
when we had of him with our lives, we've been
-
in the fruit of our lips. We experienced the glory
-
of God as he blesses his children. Remember what about
-
those but.
-
Used to seal on these cuts that we now go
-
and tell. I saw Jesus. Oh Sunday he came by.
-
Oh God, Oh, I had to pray for me this morning. Look, God,
-
we find that disciples catching up with him. Thomas in
-
verse twenty five, praise God in the Bible. Said the
-
other disciples therefore said under him.
-
We have seen the Lord. Right is it?
-
We have seen the Lord.
-
They're probably bouncing. Oh, we just saw Jesus, Thomas, Thomas,
-
Oh you should have been there.
-
Oh we come by.
-
He moved so wonderfully. What about the town that we
-
preach use Longton and Thomas. Why wasn't there, Brother Luda,
-
it stinned from one of the enda, or if he
-
had been there on Sunday morning, he would have had
-
dog God, it stood from.
-
His lack of with a tennis.
-
But the worship survis God read into their excitement. Imagine,
-
you're damn they didn't walk out, Damn me, No, it's
-
an exuberant We.
-
Just saw Jesus. He's here. Hey, Mary told us he
-
was risen.
-
I got it down it myself, But I saw you.
-
I saw it on Sunday.
-
Morning when it came I want the milliclosa. Oh, my Gods,
-
when he showed us many sage the run no.
-
And in their excitement, no doubt, the glowing faces and
-
been Thomas, we've been looking for you.
-
Where were you?
-
Oh?
-
We got good news. And then we just saw God.
-
We just saw him resurrected. We just saw him. Amen.
-
Ready, they've been to mediate possa on our behalf. He
-
just came down to USA. They've been improved himself. When
-
he said it's finished on the cross women, he now
-
had power live in the water on our behalf.
-
Oh God, first night he was the result a Sunday service.
-
Here.
-
I want to t you a little bit about I
-
saw him on Sunday here if I stroll down here.
-
Then the same day at evening, being the first day
-
of the week, that Sunday, when the doors were shut,
-
and then when the doors were shut where the disciples
-
were assembled to fear and in for fear of the Jews,
-
came Jesus and stood in the midst and said under them,
-
peace be under you.
-
Verse night. He was the result of a church service.
-
He brought such peace under us he reminded us of
-
his promise.
-
And then when we were down and broken and hurting and.
-
Destitute, and we were wondering what we were going to do,
-
and possibly we're having meetings about where do we go
-
from here? And do we believe in Mary Magdalene? And
-
they'd been made and we had our own deaths. Jesus
-
came by and he stood there in the mind, said
-
he created. He greeted us in a familiar way. This
-
is how he often greeted his children. Peace be under
-
you always say to all piece by all means. Always
-
one writer has said they've been all pieces.
-
By all means. Ah ways, I give it to you
-
any way. You can have any chores anytime you needed.
-
The chores come all me turning there and during until
-
next generation when during.
-
Under your cheery brother Jesse, they're gonna have.
-
Piece on Sunday morning when Jesus coming by her and.
-
They're struggling her and they just lost the spass, and
-
they just lost the child. They when Jesus on a
-
Sunday morning, so gonna stop by and give the pastor
-
a message. He says, I got your back, and they'll
-
leave with Piece and nobody else understands they're wonder the house.
-
Then they're throw a piece of Sunday school classes.
-
Two days after the little boy time, my God gave
-
me pizza on a Sunday morning.
-
My friend, you ain't gonna.
-
Have that peace, you misstr time as gods, Thomas shuppered
-
because of a lack of church attendants. I can't give
-
it to you any other way. When John gave it
-
to me, Thomas would have left that Sunday morning. Brother,
-
stay with the same peace Peter had. He just wanted
-
to judge.
-
He just want them.
-
You want to know where your questions come from. It
-
comes from lack of churge attendants.
-
You want to know where your struggles come from. They
-
come from not being there. When God speaks the words
-
of peace, he.
-
Will remind you in a church service of words and
-
promises he had given you in the past, and these
-
words a line with John fourteen and twenty seven.
-
He said, peace I leave with.
-
You, My peace I give under you, Nor is the
-
world giving you I under you. Would not your heart
-
be troubled, neither letting me afraid?
-
What stake were they in? I dare say there was
-
some feer.
-
I dare say there was this concernment women as they
-
wondered where do we go?
-
What do we believe?
-
And one statement from Jesus would have reminded them of
-
John fourteen and twenty seven, where he said, I'm gonna
-
leave it with you women. I women you for God.
-
I made a promise.
-
I'm with you always, even until the end.
-
No, I'm not going to leave her nor forsake you.
-
I'll go with you always through all trouble and all.
-
Child who'd be honest on the Sunday morning. You need
-
to God to remind you that he was with you.
-
You need to God to remind you he had pencil.
-
There's your situation in your.
-
Power of me. Jesus was still there.
-
He still was in the talk a Sunday morning. I'm
-
trying to be quick.
-
Let me do it.
-
Let me give some of this.
-
It depends on who you came to see as to
-
your results. Some will make it.
-
The heaven sat there and say, Lord, you walked up
-
and down arrives and I dare see and then a
-
bomb off skined Rope had come about the hole in
-
his church. And know there's a God move.
-
That don't mean they saw him.
-
For those that see him leave changed. And I feel
-
like there are some people that sat on church pews
-
and man and God to him and say Lord, you shouted,
-
sister woman, the man you dance, brother Steri and then
-
the power of God, and they been a testimony.
-
Moved on brother Jesse. We saw you do things through
-
them and men there could be nothing but the handiwork
-
of God. Remember, they'll get to heaven, saying I never
-
saw him, amen, I saw it moving a man. I
-
saw what he could do. I saw what he was doing, hemember.
-
I did not have or encounter with him. And that
-
leaves questions, and that leaves towns.
-
When you find yourself in a situation, well you ain't
-
seen Jesus in a while, where you ain't talked face
-
to face with him in a while, you'll leave a Thomas.
-
With questions, You'll leave.
-
He may been saying foolish statement, flager they man accept her.
-
I will not believe her.
-
Putting foolish qualifiers on his relationship with Jesus. Pretty foolish
-
qualifiers on his trust in Jesus.
-
You realize what a foolish thing he did.
-
To qualifier all it up.
-
They would would have went to a devil's hell.
-
If not for the mercy of Jesus to appear under
-
them again, he could have qualifier all it said, I
-
gotta have this, this and there, and then I'll believe. Friend,
-
you need to believe.
-
Called them when you need to have an encounter.
-
But how do your death had?
-
You'll come to his house and where his spirit's working now,
-
and you'd be allowed us to say.
-
Good hight in peace?
-
Might need call her?
-
Why need the Lord to work?
-
There's a lot in this chapter.
-
There's a lot between nineteen and twenty four that he
-
did for his children.
-
He reveals under them the price that was paid.
-
In verse twenty and when he had said, when he
-
had so said, he shoot under them his hands and
-
his side.
-
Now what was Thomas's clarifiers? Y'all say your sord, But
-
for me, I ain't good enough. If I was there,
-
I'd have crabbed my hand in there, said Lord, is
-
that really here? My God? You know why you think
-
such a stupid thing, because you wasn't there to experience
-
the magistry. You know why you wonder a man was God? Really?
-
They been in that night, brother Philip, through a back
-
door open and the spirit of God come in and
-
you could question a miracle like that because you didn't
-
experience the majesty and don't get this this morning.
-
They mean you miss out or nothing.
-
The moons of God.
-
You'll find yourself powerent questioned. You wonder about it. You'll say,
-
did it really happened? Might have had to experience something
-
more than what they're putting their trust in. Might have
-
needed something better from God before I threw myself. That's
-
something so foolish. Oh God, you hear something the pastor
-
said over the airways. They been praised God, and you say,
-
maybe maybe I shouldn't. Am I trusting it. I've got
-
to research it. But if you'd have been in the
-
midst of.
-
God was holding it up, you set up through.
-
Your heart across the finish side.
-
And pursue God's correction.
-
My God, what sundayed on a Sunday is another look
-
at his torn body, another realization of the price that
-
was paid.
-
It was for the redemption of sins. Praise God.
-
And I remember it wasn't exactly on a Sunday when
-
I saw it. It wasn't exactly on a Sunday morning,
-
Hey man, Praise God. It was a Thursday morning service. Amen,
-
And I can remember. The current experience I enjoy with
-
God stemms from nothing that I hadn't had prior experiences,
-
and nothing that I still don't have experiences with Jesus.
-
But when I I'm telling you, his one experience, one
-
face to face encounter, took all my questions away and
-
left me with total trust and belief in the Savior.
-
They've been praised God. I remember, they been God doing
-
wonderful work.
-
Amen.
-
Brother Philip can remember, Amen, I believe he tells it.
-
Looking into the sky one night a man asked the church, Amen,
-
was praying and door find God, and he was being
-
obedient to the revelation of God. They ben, Brother Philip,
-
what you saw might have been some sky and some
-
stars before you faded.
-
Amen. But I dare say, if you look far enough,
-
if we are mortalize could have.
-
Seen they man, there have been a Jesus standing on
-
the right hand of God to the morning.
-
You see these stripes you see when I bought for him.
-
What brother Philip found, Amen, was another look at Christ.
-
What brother Philip pound wasn't encounter with Jesus when he
-
showed him they been the truth of wooded Boy. There's
-
such a healing the truth of Woody Boy. They been
-
for such an appeal to we been when we needed
-
God to move wmen? What are you trying to say
-
this morning?
-
I'm telling you they may on a Sunday morning, a
-
Sunday night, of a Wednesday night, you can see Jesus Ageana.
-
You can find a church the tip and me.
-
He is still ever a president that the label prased out,
-
all powerful, and he's still available to all of those
-
that are looking for him. They've been looking for Here
-
is a appearing on wing. Where does he appear at today?
-
In his half? Where is he peer at today on
-
a Wednesday.
-
Night with the prince? How does he appear to you?
-
In a prayer crossing? When I was looking for him,
-
I went there with expectations to see.
-
I went there with out her.
-
I went there with questions.
-
Oh, with one.
-
Account, with God answered it all. I'm trying to hurry.
-
The Bible tells that he walked through closed doors on
-
a Sunday morning, the best the hold of his church
-
never saw glass doors swing open. We never saw him
-
enter the men As a sister succumbed to what appeared
-
to be that appointed time.
-
Amen, But Jesus did.
-
Shoot.
-
Hey, I thought about We never saw you, amen, blow
-
the doors open the man. We never saw the Prince
-
God the form of his visit, Jamn. We never saw
-
all the sheep n outline of Jesus Christ.
-
But we saw the manifestations of his power that left
-
all in the building with.
-
No questions out of the fact that God had just
-
raised one that was.
-
Dead back to life.
-
We've been sure they there have questions. A friend promised
-
you too. That's what I'm getting out this morning. They
-
been one side of this message he is. You keep
-
telling your testimony, Peter. You keep telling him, Tarna, you
-
keep telling.
-
That world out there, you good things of God.
-
They may have questions, and they may ha telled they,
-
but it's just because they ain't looked on him. It's
-
just because they ain't seen her from e relation.
-
That was power.
-
It's just because they didn't experience the glory of his majesty.
-
We he walked in and writing the situation. We he
-
walked in and mood on his children's behalf. They looked
-
under the heels and there was his appearing. They quiet
-
under him that night, and oh God, was there and
-
when they were hurting her, but night they called on him.
-
Ain't not understanding in the world, but the same girl.
-
But we know Jesus, and there's a life and well
-
and still moving the first children, still working in the midst.
-
Still appearing under them. They are doing wonders. Don't let
-
them stuff you from telling them.
-
I've seen Jesus. I've seen him on Sunday. God, I've
-
seen him all Sunday.
-
And then now the latter part of verse twenty, as
-
we can get further into this, then where.
-
The disciples glad when they saw the Lord, My God,
-
there's someone preaching here.
-
And then I had to try to say, Lord, what
-
do I say? And not say why are they suffering
-
out there in the world, Mother Jeremiah, why don't.
-
They have joy?
-
It's all right here, It's in this little portion of scripture,
-
My God. All they needs one encounter with Jesus. All
-
they needs one encountered with the lawyer.
-
When you want to know why you.
-
Ain't having the joy of the Lord when he ain't
-
to stranger you feeling weak in your faith, you ain't
-
seen Jesus.
-
Slavely, you want to know why you're missing something? You
-
need to see him again.
-
You need to go look again.
-
You need another in tower with God.
-
You need to say the lawyer, we feel yourself to
-
man like yeah, shoot heading ever out.
-
Didn't whether the side was glad when.
-
They saw the Lord.
-
Oh God, Amen man Man. I enjoyed reading list and
-
sent so much off of it, and I Where's God?
-
I hope I'm not boring you.
-
I'm trying to preach doctrine for you, though this morning
-
I feel like everything I'm saying is rude. Got here
-
they've been in chapter number twenty, they've been. The God
-
is speaking in us through these verses. They been is
-
a parodymen, there's a reason he recorded it, Ayim. In
-
this way, John believed in his duty, his power, and
-
his lordship.
-
You know why they're losing their joy? They haven't been.
-
They been in a good old fashioned hold the ghost
-
devil chasing Amen, he'll stomping.
-
They've been service in a while. It's the truth. You
-
want to know why the Baptist thank God. What you've
-
got truth is it ain't sorry for a while.
-
Of what.
-
You want to know why they're letting up on their.
-
Standards and they're losing their strength to stand truth is
-
he ain't been.
-
In that house, and why he ain't been there in
-
the why and then because if they had questions on
-
the standards.
-
They been, if they were in the House of God
-
where he appeared, he would have answered those questions on
-
a Sunday morning and Sunday night.
-
On Wednesday night. Now, may bet you want to know
-
why some of them do have the street they used
-
to hal may bet they.
-
Don't even have Wednesday night or Sunday night services anymore.
-
They when they forsaken it outin't giving it up. What
-
are they giving up, brother Calebus the truth?
-
They give it up encounters with God?
-
What are you giving up?
-
You're giving up an encounter with the Son of God.
-
You're giving up an experience of shit God, we're feeling
-
his presence. What's in really worth to experience his presence
-
of Oh, your family members, they don't think it's worth much.
-
But those of you that know what he looks like
-
and what he's able to tell even sacrifice the service.
-
All even that they experience in a lifetime.
-
In verse twenty one, we find the commissioning and a
-
clear proclamation of purpose. Then said Jesus under them peace
-
beyonder you as my father had sent me.
-
Even so I send you.
-
You know, life sometimes can't feel him like it's what
-
it needs to be. Without purpose, the world so often
-
says why am I hearing?
-
What am I here?
-
For?
-
Jesus will answer those kinds of questions on a Sunday morning.
-
Jesus will answer those questions. They been in a wonderful service.
-
It mean like we had this morning and where he said, Hey,
-
the world isn't your purpose, don't get adjusted to it.
-
And men still think on heavenly things.
-
And when we find a commissioning and a clear proclamation
-
of purpose, you will never live a full life without
-
purpose and direction.
-
And Jesus will give.
-
You both the man verse twenty two.
-
And when he had said this, he breathed on them
-
and said, under them, receive ye the Holy Ghost. I mean,
-
he gives a promise that he will give them the
-
gift of the Holy Ghost. It gives a commandment under them, aymen,
-
In what he was commanding is the nature of man.
-
They been in the nature of man. You are now
-
able to receive My God. If you're get this this morning.
-
Those out there in the world may not understand why
-
and then they can't get what you have.
-
What they need is a God from.
-
Heaven to come down and speak of that nature and
-
make all things new the man, make all things change
-
and make them Amen a vessela amen that is able
-
to may man that is acceptable to receive the glimmers
-
of God. He spoke under them, receive you the holy cursor,
-
that man. He said under them, I'm gonna give you
-
they been what you need. I'm gonna make you eligible.
-
For what I had promised you. Wan what happens in revivals,
-
and then God comes by and sanctifies they man.
-
It cleanses that all sitful what nature they man, and
-
those that couldn't receive it by the water.
-
Those that didn't have but they needed.
-
Inside to receive such a cur and Holy God, and
-
holy dear to you.
-
May been.
-
God speaks under that nature and say, Amen, I cleanse you.
-
I forgive you of your seant aymen, I purify you.
-
I work in your life.
-
And now you're able to up.
-
Oh, go ahead, and maya go ahead, and nature go ahead.
-
Reborn creature and received the character and the promise of God.
-
Now he takes the very unique.
-
Also in verse twenty two, he takes the very unique
-
and distinct action taken at the beginning. The Bible says
-
he breathed on them. He breathed on the pride of Christ.
-
He just as in Genesis too and seven, when he
-
breathed life into humanity. God breathe the very breath of life. Amen,
-
into that budding and blossoming.
-
They been knew.
-
They've been coming into that buddy in blossoming God, they
-
been knew. And then relationship with humanity. They he changed
-
the nature. They made a blood sacrifice to her.
-
Now I am the water and the only way.
-
He breathed old Dimo and made themn Amen some water
-
may been they could walk in newness of vital The
-
Bible said, we were deed.
-
With trespassers and sea. We have been wanting you need
-
on a Sunday morninga sun needer. We've been God to
-
breathe her on that old pet nature. They made a
-
throw away with those simple appatiter threw away with those pains.
-
They strug over.
-
Wait what you need on a Sunday, Mornia. This is
-
a birth of parlor. To go through this piano, we
-
met to go through this building. When to go through
-
your inner court horse. We've been creating the news, creating
-
a writer, restoring and making right. They when he breathed
-
on Damner, it watched the breath of life. They washed
-
through life.
-
He said, I am the ways come on, and then
-
you want to look the town? I agree? Or just
-
get takes you do would be a new question because
-
our ship. Should you go just to stir away and get.
-
The bunting you up and then or hate you? You
-
used to lie. That's your house. Somebody get down.
-
Pay.
-
You say it couldn't happen. You just ain't see it coming.
-
You say it couldn't happen on a Sunday morning.
-
For me and I transform.
-
I never struggle with that Ideain you just ain't seen it.
-
You just can see it.
-
Well, He's ready to.
-
Do it for all of those and William, I mean.
-
He still be life into the spiritually dead and causing
-
them to be.
-
Or a living soul, showing them how to live in him,
-
how to move in him, and how they're very being.
-
Their very existence.
-
You call amen from existing under the lust of the flesh,
-
shall wait. Man. You can't do it on your own.
-
You can change your appetites on your own. What you
-
need is to meet Jesus Thomas. And what you need
-
is to let him answer your questions.
-
What you need to be.
-
He's a faintable when her pears. Are you abbaiinable this
-
morning enough? Or you off somewhere else in your minds?
-
Are you available for him to walk heut? Or are
-
you not concentrating on the back he's walking up and
-
down the aisles of seeing bolder. They've been the brothers
-
and the sisters. They've been moving, but I've yet holding by.
-
I've getten the sea. I'm getting experience. They've been Him
-
in my life. I got I know.
-
I can't cram everything. We have seen God doing a
-
church service in one message and it maintained its message.
-
I can't cram everything I'd love to say we've seen
-
happen at bething.
-
I mean one message. They they've been something that still.
-
Has They've been a message going forth and just be.
-
A mumble they man a jumble message if I tried
-
to do it the man, but God, they've been pointed.
-
Out specific things to be in this verse of these verses.
-
Amen, and if you have traumas, they've been the simple
-
point of my message here a man is if Thomas
-
had been with them, he would.
-
Have experienced it. He wouldn't have left there with the
-
mindset he had from verse even in these verses what
-
is this verse twenty and.
-
Twenty four, He wouldn't have had that mindset if he
-
had been there in nineteen for twenty three year, he wouldn't.
-
Where are we at on Wednesday night, when God's preaching
-
is our mind off?
-
Are we in tomorrow?
-
Where will we meet tonight when Brother Jesse preaches the
-
word of God? Are we looking? Are we coming to
-
God God's house to have it encounter with him? We
-
are we coming to God's house to watch him work?
-
And I know those or those in those circumstances where
-
we all can, they been where some can't make it.
-
I'm not they have been trying to beat anybody over
-
the head this morning. I love you all dearly amen,
-
So don't andy, but.
-
Don't think I'm baseball bat in you this morning? Praise God.
-
The what do they call that?
-
The baton? Baton cages? They don't feel like with the
-
bat and cages this morning?
-
I know they been, but I still have to proclaim
-
the benefits and some day I still have to proclaim
-
for you, the benefits of church, the wonderful things we've
-
seen God do. On a Sunday morning, My God, I
-
told you a little bit of my story. Amen, Grace God.
-
I remember God.
-
Working on me. I stood right over there as Pastor
-
preach to meet. I'm pro tragedy. What I experienced was
-
peace beyond you, the family, Peace beyond me.
-
You may not feel like you're feeling it now, but
-
here's the thing, my peace I leave with you. It's
-
gonna go with you. I'm gonna walk with you.
-
I'm gonna be with you.
-
You're gonna have that assurance that they been my peace
-
I gave. I'm to you, Amen. And what I've given you,
-
the world can't take it away. It's yours. It's your treasure.
-
You hold on through Where I got it? Where'd I
-
keet it do?
-
I got it on a Sunday morning in God's house
-
when He revealed himself to me through the words, When
-
God spoke to me what I needed in that moment
-
of die and man diere straits. And into that moment,
-
I was hungry. I was needing God to answer questions.
-
Amen.
-
And God came to me, May man not that I
-
questioned my salvation or anything like that. But we always say, Laura,
-
I'd like to know why the man and if.
-
You'd like to tell me, Amen, I he might make life.
-
He's from me. He knows all things. He may know
-
my non other Amen.
-
In that instance, he spoke to me and said, Amen,
-
those things I've got you back.
-
I'm with you.
-
I came to church and man, let me let me
-
summarize verse them, which wee just twenty three because of
-
what the spirit's been saying to the churches.
-
If I could a very interesting verse.
-
What's whoever sins he re meant, they are remended unto them,
-
and whosoever sins ye retain, they are retained.
-
Amen. If you really look into.
-
This, it doesn't mean that I can tell brother Jesse,
-
I'm forgiving your sins like a pope would.
-
And it doesn't mean I'm gonna.
-
Tell Brother Samuel you're guilty of this now God's holding
-
the account. Or do something you never committed, what it
-
empowered the believer to do. They stand on Jesus's behalf
-
and say that is sin. They say judging on that,
-
you be not judged. Friend, that is something you can
-
stand on. He said, those that are committing sin, you
-
remit it to him. You tell them you're doing wrong.
-
The Bible said so, And I got the authority to
-
tell you God said you're doing wrong. And for those
-
that come amen distraught that you know, half repent, the
-
pastor can say, I mean God's never God don't remember.
-
God don't know what you're talking about.
-
I mean the ability to say, under those that need comforting,
-
God's word says, and the ability to those that need
-
conviction to say, the Bible says, you better change. And
-
then Jesus gave us that authority here in verse twenty three.
-
He gave us the ability to say, under this old,
-
dying world without his amen physical presence, say to the Pharisees, they, man, you're.
-
A bunch of dead. They've been tried up. Seffulckers the man.
-
Now Peter and John can both the standing brother of
-
them and say, you crucified the son of God. You're
-
gonna bust hell wide open for your actions. They men,
-
we have the right to stand on the word of God.
-
When they transgress it and say, you know you're doing wrong,
-
and God's word holds you accountable.
-
Man, I'll right the check. And then God gave it
-
to me. I'll write the check and tell you. If
-
you're a liar, you're going to hell. I'll write to
-
check or tell you maybe if you're committing these sins
-
they've been written. Amen, Corinthians and Galatians, you're on your
-
way to a devil's hell.
-
But such for some of you mayben.
-
But to your loster and all of those that got
-
forgiveness for these sins of you no longer.
-
Have to worry about.
-
But God send it to you to hell.
-
Over the transgressions of your pastor they've been for God
-
that's given you.
-
They've been forgiveness of it.
-
My God.
-
Yeah, I mean I ain't closing Hebrews ten and twenty
-
six twenty five.
-
You know what I gotta read it.
-
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.
-
That's the manner of souls such as tough to see this,
-
but exhorting one another, and so much the more as
-
you see the day at truly, so no longer see
-
the value.
-
Amen. In Wednesday night and Sunday services. Amen. A matter
-
of fact, a lot of the big megachurches reach me.
-
Why it's they'm the same.
-
To say we don't need it because they don't want
-
to have to broadcast the Wednesday crowd. They don't want
-
to have to broadcast the Sunday night crowd because they
-
run five hundred on Sunday morning and fifty on Wednesday.
-
So where's the problem. Because some are forsaken the assembly
-
of their selves together. Well let's stand this morning, andy Man.
-
Something no longer see its value, some no longer see
-
its effect. Remember, brother Jesse, if you come get us
-
song this morning, all I can tell you is they man,
-
it looks simply at what God done in one service.
-
What we saw, in essence, you could say, was the
-
first church service they'd been at the new Bride of Christ.
-
Jesus arose on Sunday morning and went and had church
-
my God, and he did all of this that we've
-
talked about in one service.
-
And then don't end up with Thomas making foolish statements
-
because you wasn't there to see the true value.
-
He wasn't there experienced the true majesty.
-
And then he put on a very he put a
-
