Praise the Lord.

Aren't you thankful for how the Lord is blessing our
-
church with these little ones?
-
I am the book.

Of Amos, chapter number seven, will be reading verses number
-
seven through seventeen, Brother Nathaniel, Proverbs chapter number fourteen, verses
-
number one through three, And.
-
Brother jesse Luke, chapter number nineteen, verse.
-
Number ten, Praise the Lord. If anybody's got a pair
-
of reading glasses, would.
-
You bring you to me at this time?
-
Amos chapter number seven, verse number seven through seventeen.
-
Brother Nathaniel, would you read that?
-
Proverbs chapter number fourteen, verse number one through three, Thank
-
your sister him. Every Wise woman buildeth her house, but
-
the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. He that
-
walketh in his upright and the spirit the Lord, but
-
he that has reversed.
-
In his way despise it.
-
On. Amen, in the mouth of the foolish is a
-
rod of pride, that the lips of the wise shall
-
preserve them.
-
And Amen.
-
You will notice in this message this morning that Amos
-
was one to preach to the prideful person from the
-
Jesse Loop chapter number nineteen, verse number ten.
-
Well, the son of man has come to seek and
-
to say that which was lost, praise the Lord.
-
The desire of Amos's heart was to help the least,
-
the lost, and the lonely. Let's stand for the reading
-
of our golden texts. Amos chapter number seven, verses number.
-
Seven through seventeen.
-
The Bible said, thus he shewed me, and behold, the
-
Lord stood upon a wom made by a plumb line,
-
with a plumb line in his hand.
-
And the Lord said it to me, Amos, what seest thou?
-
And I sent a plumb line.
-
Then said the Lord, Old, I will set a plumbline
-
in the midst of my people Israel.
-
I will not again pass by them anymore.
-
In the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and
-
the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste. And I
-
will rise again against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
-
And Amazi, the priest of Bethel, sit to Jeroboam, King
-
of Israel, saying Amos has conspired against thee in the
-
midst of the house of Israel.
-
The land is not able to bear all his words.
-
For thus Amos says, Jereboam shall die by the sword,
-
and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of
-
their own land. Also Amazi said of the Amos, oh
-
thou seer, which means prophet, O, thou prophet, go flee
-
thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat
-
bread and prophesy there. Literally what Amazi saying, preacher, take
-
your message back home, take it to your own people.
-
Perhaps they will hear you verse number thirteen. But prophesy
-
not again anymore at Bethel, for it is the king's chapel,
-
and it is the king's court. Then answered Amos and
-
said to Amazi, I was no prophet, neither was thy
-
prophet son.
-
But I was a herdman, and together of sycamore fruit.
-
And the Lord took me as I followed the flock,
-
and the Lord said to me, go prophesy unto my
-
people Israel.
-
Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord.
-
Thou sayest prophesy not against Israel, and drop out thy
-
word against the house of Isaac. Therefore, thus saith the Lord.
-
Thy wife shall be inhearted in the city, and thy
-
sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and
-
thy land shall be divided by line. And thou shalt
-
dine a polluted land and Israel shall surely go into
-
captivity fourth of this land which you pray, Heavenly Father,
-
with love and we've raising. We thank you for the
-
opportunity to be in the house of the Lord. We
-
thank you for your goodness, We thank you for your grace,
-
We thank you for your mercy.
-
We pray Lord, that you would annoyed this thy.
-
Servant, that you would say it. God at my lips,
-
help me to say.
-
The things that you would.
-
Have you to say.
-
Nothing more or less.
-
Are going to ears of this thy people, that they
-
might hear what the spirit of God says unto the
-
church this morning. Touch baby Amos, Touch his parents, we prayed,
-
touch his grandparents, touch his church.
-
Family in a very special way.
-
We ask God in Jesus' name in the church said Amen,
-
praise the Lord. I would like to preach a sermon
-
a message the Holy Ghost titled Amos carried to the cricket.
-
Carried to the cricket. Our textas found in an Old
-
Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of Amos.
-
The prophet Amos dwelt among the herd men of Takoa,
-
and he could also be found amongst those that manicured
-
sycamore trees or fig trees. He would have been considered
-
to have been one that was a caretaker of sheep
-
and fruit trees there in the land of Takoa. At
-
some point during his life, the Holy Ghost moved upon him.
-
While he was busy doing what most.
-
Of the people in the land of Israel would have
-
considered that little things, the menial task of everyday life
-
at the family farm. The spirit of God moved upon him,
-
a young man like King David, that had been set
-
aside for the master's work, which first included him laboring
-
amongst his own people and helping his family in the
-
family business.
-
We find the spirit of God begin to move upon him.
-
The fire of God burned in his soul in a
-
similar manner that it burns inside of every heart of
-
the preacher. Today, as the fire of God burned inside
-
of the heart of the bosom of the great prophet Jeremiah.
-
The fire of.
-
God begins to burn in this man's heart. We do
-
not find him to be a priest nor prophet. He
-
is quick to make the announcement that he is not
-
of such a pedigree, and he considers himself to be
-
the least person that God would choose for such a
-
very special ministry. But we will find that inside of
-
the heart of Amos was a willingness to not only
-
seek the truth, but to speak the truth. I'm thankful
-
for every seeker of truth that is present this morning.
-
You have said, by your own words of testimony that
-
you are here because you are a seeker of truth.
-
Without being coached or cohersed. You have found your way
-
to this congregation, and you have celebrated with these people
-
as the words of truth are spoken, and you have
-
found it to be pleasant and music to your ears.
-
Any time a preacher of truth speaks the truth, I
-
want you to know that this person, Amos, wasn't only content.
-
To be a seeker of truth. He was a speaker
-
of truth.
-
And I know that everybody in this building today is
-
a seeker of truth, but not everybody is willing to
-
speak the truth. And concern is some that are willing
-
to speak the truth, not all are willing to speak
-
the truth in love. Amos was one that spoke the
-
truth in love, even though sometimes those that heard the
-
words that were being spoken by this man of God
-
proved of the words that he was speaking and so
-
I know there's a handful of men of God in this.
-
Fielding this morning that are willing to seek the.
-
Truth, and after they have found it, they're willing to
-
share it by speaking it. In recent days, we have
-
heard of a young man that has been a seeker
-
of truth.
-
Up until his death, and even at the.
-
Time of his death, he was speaking the truth in love.
-
And even though he was speaking the truth in love
-
so softly and so tenderly, there was a monster called
-
a demon inside of some people's heart who demanded and
-
called for his execution or assassination. These people attempted to
-
silence the voice of truth, which no doubt was one
-
of the greatest voices of truth in his generation. Has
-
the voice of truth been silenced? Has the message been stopped?
-
Most of you in.
-
This building this morning today would say there is no
-
doubt in your mind whatsoever that the message will continue
-
to go forth. The widow of this person declared that
-
she will seek to it that the message is carried
-
on from one person to the next, from one generation
-
to another. God sometimes selects and chooses people that are willing.
-
To do what no one else is willing to do.
-
Among the great prophets are both minor and major in
-
the Word of God.
-
You find some of them to be descendants of priest.
-
You find some of the other ones to be descendants
-
of prophets.
-
But this man says, I was chosen as.
-
I worked amongst the herdman, I was chosen as I'm
-
manicured and maintain fig trees, Brother Jesse, nobody could challenge
-
the fact that the spirit of God was inside of him.
-
I believe the great prophet Jeremiah might have been a
-
son of a priest. If I'm not mistaken, that's coming
-
to mine right now. I know a lot of them,
-
great men of God that did great things and great works,
-
and caused mighty manifestations of God's power to be amongst
-
the nation of Israel. They were second or third generation ministers.
-
But here is a man that.
-
Is surfacing for no other reason than to challenge the
-
crooked and to carry the words up.
-
True to a crooked and a perverse people. We find
-
this man as King David.
-
In his day, the prophet Amos preferred to dwell amongst
-
the common people. He was more comfortable with being with
-
a poor and the paupera that he was being with
-
a prideful and the prince.
-
After reading the Short Book.
-
Of the Bible over the last few days, has become
-
clear to me that Amos was aggravated because of the arrogant,
-
and there are people today that can be easily aggravated
-
by the actions of the arrogant. Amos was such a
-
person he could not stand pride in the same way
-
that Father God could not stand pride. We will think
-
Amos as the opposite, the poor, opposite to Absolute who
-
relished being prideful. This man, Amos had a special place
-
in his heart for the least, the lost, and the lonely.
-
If he lived in this day and hour, he would
-
be first in line to become part of an outreach.
-
He'd have a desire inside of him that was.
-
Put in place there by God to reach out to
-
those less fortunate, because he felt.
-
Like those were his people. He identified with him. He
-
knew what it was like to feel needy. He frowned
-
upon the oppression of such a people. At this time and.
-
History, his people were experiencing hardships due to the oppression
-
of the rich, specifically those located in the Northern Kingdom.
-
This proft lived in the southern.
-
Kingdom, and in the Southern Kingdom they were more humble,
-
they were.
-
More quite a spirit, they were more selfless. But in
-
the Northern Kingdom they were greedy and they were selfish.
-
In fact, business is good in the Northern Kingdom, and
-
they're prospering in a way like they had prospered in
-
a good while, and they feel like this promotion and
-
this prospering has come from the Lord.
-
And they feel like because they are God's people, they
-
are prospering in such a manner. But this man that
-
was a man to man fig.
-
Trees and depict the fruit they're on him, and to
-
work with the hertsman of tacoam he becomes disgusted because
-
he realizes this prosperity bred complacency, and that complacency and
-
out onness brought forward a gross immorality, and it moved
-
from the Northern Kingdom into the Southern Kingdom.
-
And when it began to be carried into.
-
The Southern Kingdom, he decided somebody's got to do something
-
about it. The name Amos literally means carried or born
-
of God, and so as immorality is being carried or
-
brought into the Southern Kingdom, he decides, not only will
-
I speak up and stand up against this in the
-
Southern Kingdom, but I will obey what God is telling.
-
Me to do, and as a seeker of truth.
-
I will speak out against the evil Newer and the
-
Spirit of God mean on him to carry the voice
-
of truth and the words of truth into the Northern Kingdom.
-
And it is true that most of the people in
-
the Northern Kingdom did not want to hear of his
-
frustrations and aggravations and agitation, brother Jesse impact when he
-
began to preach.
-
They made him feel like he was nobody.
-
They asked, where did you come from, what is your vocation,
-
what's your occupation?
-
Who are your parents?
-
Tell us a little bit about your family history, show
-
us your family tree.
-
And after they marnered that he was not.
-
One in a long line of prophets, they said, little preacher,
-
take your ministry and your message and go back to
-
the little Southern Kingdom from whence you came and preach
-
to your own people where you have no place here.
-
Can I tell you that the Word of God has
-
its proper place in any kingdom. It has its proper
-
place in our churches today. It has its.
-
Proper place in our countries today. This man, like many
-
holiness preachers of Pentecostal preachers of yesteryear and today, was
-
disgusted because.
-
Of the immorality.
-
Most people that are seekers and speakers of truth cannot
-
help but speak against selfishness.
-
This man was selfless.
-
He put God first, He put God's message first before
-
all other things. At one point he left it all
-
in order to help somebody. It was his desire to
-
bring reborn into the Northern Kingdom by.
-
The spoken word of God.
-
When you study the Writings and the other prophets, you
-
can see that right off in the writings there.
-
Are message of hope.
-
There's streads of hope woven all throughout their sacred writings.
-
But in the Book of Amos, for the most part,
-
and it's only a few chapters, you can only find
-
a few verses of hope. You can tell that the
-
Spirit of God had revealed the Amos that these people
-
are gonna hear what you say. They're gonna put a
-
finger in each.
-
Ear so to speak, and they are going.
-
To reject your words and not accept them.
-
So while bother trying to make cricket things straight.
-
If we know they're not gonna receive the instructions that
-
would make crooked ways straight.
-
Anyhow, I'm glad that.
-
This preacher that was recently assassinated did not have that
-
mind set. I'm thank for forever preacher that does not
-
have that mind set. Whether it's rejected or accepted. We
-
must preach the truth in love. So as this man
-
spends his own resources and his own energies to.
-
Travel to the Northern Kingdom.
-
Once he's arrived, he's prophesied against the offenders who were
-
implated by their pride and brother Nathaniel. They reject him,
-
and they're courageously contempt and they despise his words, the
-
same way the religious leaders in the days of Jesus
-
despised the words of God himself. In Karname, God came
-
to speak the truth to seekers of truth, but he
-
also spoke the truth to those that sat in.
-
Darkness that had known us.
-
How whatsoever for someone to flip the switch and turn the.
-
Light on, the Bible said.
-
Men that set in darkness had seen a great light.
-
I'm thankful for a preacher like Amos that is willing
-
to say what everybody else should be saying. There were
-
plenty of preachers. There were plenty of prophets, there were
-
plenty of priests that could have spoken the word of
-
God to this nation of Israel, specifically the Northern Kingdom.
-
But this testifies that there was an unwillingness amongst the
-
majority of the preachers to say what God has really said.
-
And that's where.
-
We're at today. There's only a handful of men that
-
are willing to pull out the plum life of truth
-
and to hold it up against churches and families and countries.
-
I want you to know that when.
-
God sent Jesus down into this world, Jesus Christ himself,
-
representing of the plumb Bible, representing Jesus Christ him self,
-
the will of God stretch from heaven to earth, and
-
there is a line.
-
Between heaven and earth.
-
Jesus Christ the plumb bob. He found the center of gravity.
-
He points directly at what is true, what is living,
-
what is squared. And there's a lot of people today
-
they don't even have to hear help preached on. They
-
don't have to hear a preacher and take a text
-
and preach on hell. They can see a saying of
-
God or a preacher of righteousness just going about their business.
-
And daily life. And because the Word.
-
Of God is so wisely dispersed and has been preached
-
about the generations. They may not be lovers of truth,
-
but they know the end of the book. They know
-
the end of the matter. They know that the Bible
-
declares that all unholy and all unrighteous, and all homosexuals
-
guilty in ascent of homosexuality, and all immorals, all that
-
are guilty of immorality.
-
They will spin eternity in the light of a fire.
-
They know this.
-
That's why they could assassinate a thirty one year old
-
preacher that is sitting there in cool comic collecting and
-
defeating and just simply.
-
Talking to people about the Word of God. They in
-
their heart know what the Bible says.
-
They know the end of the matter, and they've got
-
a problem with it.
-
They go past conviction, they enter into condemnation, and then they.
-
Decide to take matters in their own hands and silence
-
the world.
-
Of the preacher. The Northern Kingdom rejected the.
-
Word of God.
-
Amos told them.
-
Of the severe consequences that would follow, and the Bible
-
said that there was some that salt to destroy his life.
-
Will because some of them well to do priests them
-
or turns them. So called oracles of God had been
-
reading their Bible and it didn't live. They said, there
-
was a time when the prophet Jeeremiah done exactly.
-
What this man us. Do you remember?
-
And they come through the Sacred writ and they read
-
where Jeerimia's life was spared. And some of these men said,
-
I feel like we ought to treat Amos the same
-
way Jeremiah the prophet was treated. We should not kill
-
him or spill his blood, you know, limb.
-
But we can criticize him. We can remain skeptical, we
-
can lie, Oh, come on, we can send him home
-
with his badge. We can reject this message, but we
-
should not take his life.
-
What I want to pull out of that for you
-
is this. If there had not a been of Jeremiah
-
that was willing to say crooked things straight and the
-
willing to say things nobody else wanted to say, that
-
Amos's life would not have been spared. And I'm telling you,
-
mobs in there, and I'm telling Amos is that And mom,
-
that's always in our best interest to that we're not
-
only seekers of true to but where speakers.
-
Are true come and that when something.
-
Gets off level, and somebody gets off clears, when somebody's
-
house is falling down, that we put it to the
-
pup line on the end of the plup Bob, and
-
we have an assurance that this is where Jesus the
-
poor Bob has set the pup line. And I'm telling you,
-
when your life and when your country, and when your church.
-
Is not over left you obtains.
-
Leading to the left where it claims and leading to
-
the ride, and you can't get back.
-
To the plum line. There were said, we're on that house, shop, were.
-
On that live We on that's square to the glory
-
of God. So this man, he gets stirred in his
-
spirit and as a hurl insults his instructions. He defends
-
himself and says, hey, the spirit of God moved.
-
On me while I was minding my own business.
-
You've heard me say for years. I didn't ask for this.
-
I didn't ask to come to South Lord. I didn't
-
ask the pastor of church. I never had a desire
-
in my heart, and the pastor seventy.
-
Five people, however, many of these says in this build.
-
At this time, I just wanted to be a lover
-
of truth and a seeker of truth. I never asked
-
to be a speaker of truth, but there was a.
-
Desire in my heart that if God ever.
-
Asked me to speak the truth, that's exactly what I
-
would do, is.
-
Speak the truth.
-
Because when you truly love your brother, and when you
-
truly love your yes, you will be their keeper. This man, Amos,
-
was upset about the greedy and the self has taken
-
advantage of others that chose to look out for themself.
-
These people were prospering financially, yet Amos believed it was
-
not God causing them to prosper financially, that it was
-
demons of hell, and that they were prospering because of
-
their great work ethic and their relentless pursuit of wealth
-
and prosperity. And Amos believed and preached that God was
-
not in it, and that that prosperity was going to
-
be the cause of their downfall, and that they had
-
forsaken humility and become prideful. And of course they felt
-
like this shepherd boy and this fruit picker was in
-
no position to rebute them, and they decided to ignore
-
his message, and ultimately.
-
They were ignoring the warning of God.
-
They can look at a preacher, they can look at
-
a person.
-
In a church and say, who are they? Who do
-
they think they are?
-
Look at me? Everything I touch is turned to gold.
-
I've prospered. I'm rich and increased with goods, and I
-
have need of nothing, including I have no need in
-
going to church every time the church doors are open.
-
I have no need of a pastor. There is no
-
need for a teacher. There is no need for instructors.
-
There is no need for me to read my Bible.
-
There is no need for me to thumb through the
-
manuscript to the Manuel of life. This man Amos, knew
-
that God instructed him to carry his word. When this
-
woman was suffering because of the sins of Father Adam
-
and been mother Eve, and as she was given birth,
-
her and her husband decided to name this young man
-
carried by God.
-
Little did she know.
-
How to buy me, inspired of the holy girl she
-
was when God gave her that name that is to
-
be chosen above great riches.
-
When Amos left in with a name that was given
-
to him by God, that wonderful name was worth more.
-
Than the collective riches of all of those who, being
-
in the empire of the Northern Kingdom.
-
Just to be able to say I am a child
-
of God. At on.
-
You may not have to ten dollar bills to rub together,
-
but just to be able to say you are a
-
child of God, and that Jehovah Childrah is your provider.
-
And as a righteous persson you've had about forsaken, He's
-
been with you all day. He had a promise for
-
you that now that you gave your heart to him,
-
he said, you will find me to.
-
Be present by your side. It's an every step of
-
the way.
-
Come on now telling you God that he is with us.
-
And I believe that we should be carriers of more
-
than viruses and carriers of more than gossip. But so
-
many people are doing today. We should be carriers up
-
the truth. Again, this man that was carried by God,
-
he carried the words of God.
-
And he may have been carried away carelessly, but he was.
-
Still the message and the messenger embodied God's message, was
-
carried by God to deliver a message. He carried that
-
was intended for people who called himself the people of God.
-
And so it is today. Your granddaddy could have been
-
the founder of a certain camp meeting your great granddaddy
-
could have been a deacon.
-
Of a certain great harness what to a postal church.
-
But don't be surprised when a little preacher comes out
-
of a royal town and he travels with one keena
-
to the next time to tell you what the saith God,
-
or thank God for the carriersm of the gospel, for those.
-
That were carrying the truth. Ain't there? Come on now?
-
Amos made it clear, and Amos checking number five that
-
God despises a hypocrite, and a God despised a hypocrit
-
prea God incarnate. Do you not think that God despises
-
it a hypocrite to post God incarnator?
-
You've been given Jesus, He's been given the.
-
Holy neverstu in marryinga and there there's no reason at all?
-
Whatso he din it be a hypocrite and a crusifi
-
the carrier of such a gospel as this.
-
A man.
-
A golden texas found in the seventh chapter of Amus.
-
We've been reading verses number.
-
Seven through seventeen and preaching through those verses. The prophet
-
Amous chose to illustrate his message with an instrument that
-
can be found in most gang boxes on most job
-
sites how many. If you know what a plumb bob
-
is attached to, that plumb bob is a plumb a line.
-
The plumb line itself is not nearly as important as
-
the plum bob. You can stretch that plumb blom, that
-
plumb bob from about any point, and after the pendulum
-
effect has taken place, and after gravity has won its battle,
-
the temple of the bottom tip of the plum bob
-
will be pointing directly in line with the point at
-
point A.
-
I'm telling you that plumb line.
-
Has been used since the beginning of time by crashmen
-
and their construction projects, and it is still used to
-
this day.
-
And God used the man to show the nation of.
-
Israel that they had leaned away from the truths or
-
the plumb line. Somebody told me that there are preachers
-
that are now inspired to start outreach ministries after the
-
death of Charlie.
-
Kirk, and I thought that was great, you know, to
-
think about. But if they cannot even.
-
Put their own churches and their own youth group and
-
their own family to the plumb line, if they haven't
-
been able to preach the truth and love all these years,
-
that they haven't been able to take a stand.
-
All these years.
-
If they haven't been using the plot line all of
-
these years, what makes us think, after the emotions of
-
this situation has settled, that they will keep the plumb
-
bob and the plum life in their pastoral tool box
-
and it will not happen.
-
God used Amos because God knew that Amos would not
-
stop preaching on day one. He would not.
-
Stop preaching on monk Tin. He would not stop preaching
-
on year ten.
-
In fact, if you.
-
Study the book of Amos, he tells exactly who was
-
the king as he preached.
-
A proper side.
-
It talks about two or three different kingdoms and kings.
-
And from what I could tell, he preached a.
-
Proper side for about fifty something years. He held the
-
southern and the northern kingdoms to.
-
The plumb line.
-
What a wonderful, illustrative message It worst that day when.
-
He referred to an instrument.
-
And I wrote, this little baby name am was up
-
to be raised in such a way. My wise father
-
and a wise mother that had refused to tear.
-
Down the house with their hands.
-
Until there is no longer a house, but that that
-
wise warning.
-
And that wise father would build.
-
It up with her hands block by block of brick
-
by brick. I remember, at the age of ten, I
-
was introduced to the plum light and the plumb mob.
-
I walked to that single wire trailer that my dad
-
and mom.
-
Lived in, and I looked at that house that my
-
father was having built, and there were some black brothers
-
and they were eating some Kentuguan fried chicken, and they
-
were setting a brick on.
-
That stereer of that house.
-
And I remember seeing that mysterious line stretcher from poorn
-
Ad to porn Bed and brother Aaron Wood. I would
-
see that plum bob swing to the left, and it
-
was swinging to the right. But when all was sitting
-
done and pointed at a spot that let them know
-
they were square and they were level.
-
I have never forgotten.
-
I told Sister Howl of Matter three to five days ago.
-
I said, Honey, that has stuck with me for.
-
As long as I can remember.
-
The most important part of that process was not the
-
mortar store.
-
It was not they come on the one putting of
-
the mourner on the trowel.
-
It wasn't exactly The most important process wasn't exactly taking
-
the mortar off the trowel and putting it on the brick.
-
The most important process was aligning the brick to the
-
plum line.
-
And I'm telling you, when it didn't light up, I
-
saw on tap. I saw on tap with the n
-
I saw it hit one side and the other. Sometimes
-
when they went too far they backed back up. Come on,
-
or you're getting it right here.
-
I'm telling your mom and dad. The only way am
-
my soul will be amos. So if somebody cares for nothing,
-
if it's off the sixty coming thatch, it's gonna be redone,
-
it's gonna be reset. And if you don't get the
-
mental imagery, this is the inspiration of this message. I
-
saw Lauren Emma's wood, seeing there at that steerer of
-
what appeared to be a spiritual house, and I saw.
-
A plumb line o the bottom was a plumb mob.
-
Then I saw Lauren upping the eye blosses off and
-
staring at the plump line and bumping the brick and
-
bumping the brick.
-
I'm telling you that's the only way.
-
Then a must not be a carrier on the truth is,
-
if there's not a manga, they will be up their
-
house her head to Mothery doesn't matter what anybody else does.
-
Let us be one that builds up with the house
-
of God.
-
Right, the string with a weight on it, the string
-
with a weight on it, an anchor Jesus, an arrow
-
that points us in the right direction. Then black men
-
knew that the wall was at level. It would affect
-
the integrity of that wall. They knew if it was
-
leaning in, that meant the base was off. They knew
-
if it was leaning out, that mint is already beginning
-
to fall.
-
And that's what I want you to know here today.
-
Amos knew because the Northern Kingdom was already leading out,
-
it was.
-
Already beginning to fall. And somebody says, why as these
-
little things matter? They have everything, everything in the world
-
to do with the.
-
Beginning of a gradual wearing away process and the beginning
-
of a great fall.
-
When they get out of line, and they get out
-
of level, and they refuse to let.
-
A man of God put the plumb line on it,
-
they refuse to let a sermon brick their heart. They
-
refuse to say, you know what, I set that brick there,
-
but I'm going to remove that brick and I'm going
-
to reset it. The problem with this arrogant generation and
-
their arrogance aggravated aimous of his generation and the arrogance
-
of their This generation aggravates you parents. Is nobody would
-
admit that they've set some brick wrong. Nobody would we
-
made a mistake. It is very easy to chip that
-
mortar out between them bricks.
-
Throw that brick away if you need to.
-
If you don't want to spend a time and clean
-
it up, and get you another brick and slide some
-
more mortar off of that trail and put it on
-
a brick and say.
-
It right, my god, I feel the Holy ghost in
-
this house.
-
The problem is nobody wants to receive the message from
-
the message. That's where we're at. That's what I want.
-
You ought to know that Northern Kingdom received words from
-
a preacher that preached for about fifty something years. While
-
people saying you're nobody, mister Hrtman, you're nobody, mister fruit picker,
-
and Amos has just a few words to say, Hope's
-
coming for you. Every service it in with hope. Right,
-
that's what we believe. Amos didn't have any hope. He
-
wasn't gonna give anybody a false hope and now you preach,
-
and you teach, Mamma and your little kids will look
-
at you just like a lot of church people will say,
-
I ain't leaving, I'm not getting out alive, I'm not
-
being disorderly, I'm not out of conduct.
-
They constantly checked the locations of the.
-
Briot with a prong mind. When a break was out alive, brother, justin,
-
they reset it. A wise woman knows whether or not
-
her house is level, and I'm gonna leave this a
-
Lauren with that. A wise woman knows whether or not
-
her house is on the level. A church they know
-
whether or not their church is squereing with God. A
-
pastor knows whether or not them sheep are on the level.
-
And I know that that shepherd heard, and he knew
-
who were the unruly sheep. He knew which ones were
-
looking for an opportunity to drift and to get out.
-
And this man knew that God, as a heavenly shepherd,
-
as the Great Shepherd, knew that whole entire Northern Kingdom
-
were unruly.
-
Sheep leaning way far to the left.
-
How do you argue with somebody that says, see how
-
God richly glasses, brother?
-
He lives in a six thousand square foot house. How
-
do you argue with that?
-
How do you argue when they're courageously contempt at your message?
-
And so who are you? What do you have to show?
-
What's your bottom line on your financial report? Nevertheless, you
-
preach the truth and love. Sister, how Amos knew.
-
That the entire nation of Israel was leaning away from
-
the truth?
-
How did Amos know this? Because God revealed it to
-
him through his word. God's word is God's revealed will.
-
And let me interject this, because Amos spoke the truth
-
in his lifetime, over spent fifty years. When General the
-
Prophet spoke the truth, it didn't matter whether they were
-
in the pit.
-
Or delivered from the pit, says to how.
-
With a holy ghost, when they surrendered to the Holy Ghost,
-
he made them speak the truth even when their flesh
-
grave would rather do otherwise.
-
And that's my.
-
Grievous with people today that profess to be Christians. Why
-
is it that.
-
What's in you.
-
Does not rally you to do what's right?
-
Because the nature.
-
Of this beast is we are flesh, and at times
-
we may lean to the left, we may lean to
-
the right, But the spirit of God is this He
-
will pull us to truth, and we will pull ourselves
-
to truth.
-
Ames carried the truth.
-
Because the truth presented an opportunity for transformation.
-
Thank God for the transformative truth.
-
And you know why people reject the truth because they
-
don't want to be transformed. The Northern Kingdom of Israel
-
did not want to be transformed. This is the alarm
-
I feel like personally, it's on you. The secondly, he
-
is on brother Christian. Third is on me as pastor
-
and this church family to see to it that this
-
little boice the truth gets the upbringing and the raising
-
that he needs in order to keep.
-
His house on the level.
-
Amos carried the truth, the truth setting free. Amos carried
-
the gospel, the love and the will of God, and
-
the love and the will of God delivered him, even
-
though and eventually it condemned all of the years. God
-
always sends his messengers to his people with his message,
-
giving them hope, giving them opportunity for transformation. And Amos
-
allowed himself to be a plumb line that was dropped
-
into the Northern Kingdom. This man that was assassinated really
-
not murdered to kill, assassinated. He had allowed himself to
-
be dropped into universities.
-
City halls.
-
Arenas the brother Nathan that he allowed himself to be
-
the plumb line. And because he dared to do such
-
a thing, somebody cut up the strength. And that's how
-
wanting him, God said to Alaren to be a carrier,
-
not a color. That was the end of the dream
-
of the v There's many they cut the lives as
-
to how and when you cut the line, that's right, brother,
-
the thing and you bomb with every winter doctor and
-
a tackto where by men lying wait to the sea.
-
The Lord dropped Charlie Kirk right in the midst of
-
the University of Utah, and his voice was silence. The
-
Lord dropped larm in the midst of the Wood family,
-
made her.
-
Voice drop with silence.
-
The Lord dropped Amos right down, SmackDown, bitch in.
-
The midst of Israel, to show them how cricket they were.
-
And Jesus as a plumb ball fell to the earth
-
and spun a line in heaven.
-
And I hold that blood line and the plumb.
-
Bob in my hand. When the Howell family has accidentally
-
or intentionally veered to the left of the right because
-
of the Holy ghost side of us. He's graciously tapped
-
us back in the line.
-
And feel the sweet presence.
-
Of God in his place. And sister, we no want
-
what sent me to tap me back in the line
-
and tap me to the left, tap me to the right,
-
or whatever you do.
-
Don't tear me down.
-
With your hands.
-
Yeah you know, did you close your eyes right now?
-
And would you play and ask you to use this
-
little baby in a way.
-
That only he can.
-
Sister, Lawyer, brother Christian, would you bring your baby boy
-
forward at this time?
-
The being this wood. He's a little cutey, handsome.
-
Precious.
-
We all know what we're doing today.
-
We're bringing back to God something that was given to
-
us by God.
-
The Lord carried this little baby boy.
-
It's just the lawyer and brother Christian and now they're
-
carrying back to God. The Lord gifts it, the little
-
baby boy to them, and then they gifts them back
-
to God. Adorable, cute precious. The Bible said to train
-
them up in.
-
The nurturing ammunition of the Lord. Could a church stand
-
at this time?
-
The elders that have the Holy Ghost especially all believe
-
those feel saints plays together together. This is a very
-
important solid time here. The ceremonial part of this servant
-
has begun.
-
It was the desire of dead.
-
Mom that I preach him as his serve specific for Amus,
-
and I did wrestled with the Lord until he spoke
-
to me, carrying the trees to the cricking, and when
-
his eyes were fixed upon me. Now only his eyes
-
be fixed upon the come he made he with others
-
things he left and right he will in the same note.
-
This is where that I'm used. It's not so much
-
that we don't understand people sometimes lean.
-
While we treat like the duces to he'll.
-
It's that we know if they continue or lean, it's
-
on a matter of time until they fall. And this
-
is why we make a big deal about manicures and
-
pedicures and trimmed hair. Let the devil have an answer,
-
become on overuler. It's not that we as quipped to judge.
-
It's that we consider the consequences of a fall. And
-
that's why, sister.
-
Lauren, they're gonna tell you all Lauren is just a
-
little thing.
-
You just a little kid.
-
You just keep tacting.
-
I feel it. It's like a big introduce. Well, Laren
-
is just a kid. I mean, that's what they say
-
it's just a kid of them. They're giving you some slack.
-
That's what they're telling us, pastors and just people in
-
this question of blood, give'e a little slack. It's not
-
that we don't wanna give you a little slack. It's
-
the consequences of.
-
The fall that's far already. That's where we're gone.
-
Now we energine for bows in the middles. At this time,
-
I've been set any day to munications. I've got to
-
members pos the brother Christian Sister Arge, do you promise
-
to bring Angus squar up in the nurture and ammnition
-
of the Lord? Do you promise to bring him to
-
church each and every time? But the words are aprisoners.
-
You two are able body able to do so? Do
-
you promise to be a god example before him and
-
to show them how Christians I can live? And I
-
want to add this unique balance, a specific you know,
-
just a.
-
Line to utmus to give them a real loving.
-
Time every time the music, because I feel a lot
-
of the consisted.
-
If you do it well, they'll be learning to.
-
Give it depre time in time, cause the Bible sall
-
word that has fitly spoken is like apples as.
-
Well as pictures of silver, And how.
-
Many times do we see the ministers of both they
-
come up braver thing when one of our uses drifting,
-
one of our elders is struggling. Sister Clad told me
-
that thing in in my words and in other words
-
she said it, but she said, pastor, befo the time
-
of your time broughtably back to the life in that
-
black bag.
-
It's said that she has.
-
Struggled with is.
-
Oh God, we're gonna pray at this time. Sisters gether around,
-
Sister Laura, and brother's gather around, brother Law prayer, Christians praying.
-
There's no doubt we could feel the spirit of y'all
-
in this place is very respective wherever is it very
-
real
