  1. It's spending honor and privilege to be back here. I

  2. was glad to see him familiar faces. Yes, and I

  3. appreciate your pastor so so much. Just to give like

  4. a little story, Uh, I don't know a pastor touch

  5. base with y'all, but uh, February, mother passed away, and

  6. uh we've been staying at the hostel center, me and

  7. my wife, and you know how it is in the

  8. hospital sitting it's hard to get rest. And my older

  9. sister said, well, I'll I'll sit with her tonight and

  10. y'all go home and rest. And uh so we went

  11. along and when he's getting ready for bed, and my

  12. sister called me and she said, you got about five

  13. minutes to get here. And we live in Maria and

  14. the hostile centers in Richmond, so it's about fifteen minutes

  15. five And I said, my s I told my sister.

  16. I said, there's no way I can get there in time.

  17. There's just no way. But we had that way and uh,

  18. I could take you back to the back past where

  19. he was driving there. And my sister called me and

  20. uh she gave word that my past and uh, my

  21. wife can testify this. The first person that I called

  22. the brother How and he had the words to say

  23. to that very moment, and he said, he told me this,

  24. and he said, I'm gonna promise you something. And I said,

  25. what's that? He said, when I hang up this phone,

  26. me and sister How, I will hit her knees. And

  27. I'm truly believe that. Ye believe that is when I

  28. got to that hostice and I had seen her, her

  29. lifeless body there. I know her soul was at but

  30. the prayers what put me through. And I appreciate your

  31. pastor so much. You didn't just stop there. After she

  32. passed and the funeral stuff and going on. He was

  33. texting me every day, how you can do with you?

  34. Did anything I'm here for he's lost. It goes very hard,

  35. and I appreciate him so much, and I appreciate you all.

  36. I know y'all pray for us. Before mother passed. I

  37. didn't know he was gonna do this. But before she

  38. passed and she was at home. She was just trying

  39. to rest and she had stopped the chemo and all that,

  40. and you know, we was just sitting at home resting.

  41. Didn't know. We got a call. Mother She said, guess

  42. who's here? And he said who's that. She said, brother

  43. house here and he said, we'll be right over. But

  44. he flew from here, tucking to Lexington, kentuck Any drove

  45. from l Seeton to Maria to be with my mother.

  46. And in your comm trouble. What a pastor that you want?

  47. I tell him to the time after time, I say,

  48. you're a pastor of a pastor fastial way, you know.

  49. And then we've been we've been seeking God, trying to

  50. be given down here and hopefully the world will work

  51. out for this. Mean, I know it was all that

  52. I guess now I did want to give honor to uh.

  53. I know he's talking about you know whether brother how

  54. the brother Justin was talking about mother how. Yeah, you've

  55. got a good assistant pastor as well, you got a

  56. good assistant pastor. You know when when pastor here, when

  57. he needs help, brother justice help him, he can give

  58. him strength. Yes, And I believe we'd give honor honors

  59. due I think a lot of in the dustiness. Well yeah,

  60. oh alright, I'll try to keep this message. We've we've

  61. enjoyed our trip down here, and we would went to

  62. see the world. I'll tell you we we went to

  63. the beach yesterday, and there's so much saying in our

  64. vehicle problem or how did we get out? This guy

  65. had took shower after I got out of a beach

  66. there and uh, I'm still finding there uh, or saying

  67. coming off me somehow. I don't know how that chest

  68. where not used to that to talk about interested mud

  69. and all that. Uh, alright, took 'em after you. The

  70. fourteenth chapter four took the chapter start with the twenty

  71. second verse. This message really struck on my word. Uh,

  72. we bring in the city yard and at how ask

  73. me to preach you? Wrat about it, mister good in

  74. what directions as you or come to my mind? Fourteenth

  75. chapter Matthew twenty second verse and straight the way. Jesus

  76. constrained his disciples to get into a ship and to

  77. go before him onto the other side, while he sent

  78. the multitudes away. Well, and when he had sent the

  79. multitudes away, he went up to the mountain of Park

  80. to pray. When the evening was come, he was there alone.

  81. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea,

  82. tossed with waves, for the wind was contrary. And in

  83. the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went into them

  84. walking on the sea. And the disciples saw him walking

  85. on the sea. They were troubling, saying it as a spirit.

  86. And they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spakeing them, saying,

  87. big good year. If it is I be not afraid.

  88. Peter answered a him and said, Lord, if if thou be,

  89. bid me to come unto the unto the water. And

  90. he said come. And when Peter was coming down out

  91. of the ship, he walked on the water to go

  92. to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boys, he

  93. was afraid and began to see and cried, say Lord, sayan,

  94. And Jesus drached forth his hand and caught him and

  95. said up them, oh he, oh thou little faith, where

  96. didst thou doubt? And then when they're coming to the

  97. ship where they come into the ship, the wind seized.

  98. Then they were in the ship, came and worshiped him, saying,

  99. of truth, thou art the son of God. And they

  100. were gone over and came into the land of gets

  101. in at you can maybe seated there walk that first

  102. there thirty four and says. And when they were gone

  103. over they came into the land of gets side senter

  104. out I hope I pressed that right, and then going

  105. to help me, I'd like to preach on the other

  106. side of the storm. Yeah, they the other side of

  107. the storms, and Discipples was out in the ship and

  108. Jesus was on the mountain praying, and no doubt, the

  109. storm started picking up and they was in the middle

  110. of the ship, in the middle of this storm, and

  111. the rain and water and wind was beating upon that

  112. ship and they were scared. They was terrified. But then

  113. they seen Jesus woking on the water too, and they

  114. thought maybe it was a spirit, But little do they

  115. know it was the key ready to control the storm.

  116. But the best part about this was they made it

  117. on the other side. No matter what you're facing in

  118. this lifetime, there is another side of this storm. When

  119. you feel like your ship is cost to and fro,

  120. there is another side of this. There is a land

  121. of milk and honey. There is a land of blessings

  122. and joy. You may be going through a lot of

  123. things in your life, but just trust that knowing and

  124. know that God is there with you walking every step

  125. of the way. There's been times in my life, brothers

  126. and sisters that I need God and I know that

  127. he's been right there walking the side Pete. When the

  128. wind and the storm started to beat able my ship

  129. and I didn't know what I was gonna do, God

  130. just said, peace, be still, Peace be still. That's the

  131. kind of God that I served in the middle of

  132. the storm. He's right there walking with me. One powerful

  133. God that we serve today. When God says, idiot, Jesus

  134. knew the storm was coming. He knew it before him

  135. was even with my truth. He knew it was gonna

  136. hit that ship. He knew exactly. That's how God he is.

  137. He knows every storm that's gonna come in your life.

  138. And he's just while he's just standing.

  139. Right the side.

  140. Hey, I'm right here. Whenever you need me, I'm right here.

  141. I'm right here. Brother. Justahu is so thankful that whenever

  142. the storms of my life, I feel like, well, where

  143. are you? He's right here. He's right there where the

  144. storm comes. Who God is? Have you recall me? I said?

  145. Who he is? Who is? He is Doctor, the finisher

  146. of our faith. He is the Lord of lords and

  147. kings of kings. He is Jehovah, child of Jehovah, DC.

  148. Jehomah Slone that's the god of God that I serve.

  149. I don't serve non't dead God. Other justin I don't

  150. give you anymore soan no son God. But I can

  151. give you out at all to.

  152. A prayer and cry out to my God, and he

  153. answers my prayer. That's the kind of God that I

  154. serve today. Whenever I get loan and spirit, God is

  155. right there walking in the sun of me.

  156. He said, I will go all the way given until

  157. the end of the world. What I promised today the way, Oh,

  158. I have a God that serves, I said, what's over

  159. these and protects us and gives us strength of the

  160. true times.

  161. Staying afloat. When Peter was walking on the water to Jesus,

  162. the Bible says that he took his his eyes on foot.

  163. He started looking round at the troubles and the and

  164. the wind and all the storms. That was a rain

  165. that was raising, and he began to see, let me

  166. tell you, when we start looking around everything else, and

  167. he turned off Jesus as when we began to seek

  168. and we cry out, Lord helpless, I'm stinking it's because

  169. we looked around in all the troubles that's facing us.

  170. But if we could just keep her eyes on him,

  171. He'll help the strop. He'll lift this up. He'll give

  172. us the strip that we need. Brother justin thank God,

  173. everything is turned upside down. Brothers, they was tolling in

  174. this ship. They was handling a normal day, and then

  175. all of sudden it changed their world. Footed up side

  176. to him, they him know what they was going to do.

  177. But little did they know Jesus was walking to of them.

  178. He know the exact moment when will walk on the

  179. sea to control that story. He know the exact moment

  180. whenever their faith was at the end of their life

  181. and say I don't know what we're gonna do. We're

  182. not gonna make it, that's when he showed up. Whenever

  183. you're going through life and you have Charles and you're

  184. going I just I can't make it. I can't do this,

  185. that's when Jesus likes to show up and says, hey,

  186. you can't make this. You can't do this, you can't

  187. go through this. God is right real, walking with you

  188. every step of the way. I mean, he's hell my

  189. mother me, my mother was close. I'm close. I was

  190. closer to my mother than I am my father and

  191. I know that they sound bad, but it's the truth, Brother, Justin.

  192. I was close to her, and it rocked my ship

  193. whenever she passed. And if it wasn't for God, I

  194. know what I would have done. But God walk with me.

  195. My world was upside down, but the Lord was right

  196. there with it. Have you ever questioned this? Have you

  197. ever heard somebody say this? What is the point of Holy?

  198. What is the point of Hodi homes Is? Somebody give

  199. me Isaiah forty three to read it for me. Friend.

  200. But while they're getting that, have you ever heard anybody

  201. say that, what's the point? What's the point? I'm going

  202. through this, I'm going through that. What's the point? But

  203. God has this perfect plan for you. You got I

  204. will be with thee through the rivers they shall knock

  205. overthrow these walkers through the fire. Thou shalt not bed

  206. against you. What a promise. Then he'll go with you

  207. through the fire, through the water. He gets you. Glad

  208. when any of the storms come upon you, he'll go

  209. with you. He'll go with you. You can make it through.

  210. You can make it through the other side of this

  211. that that ship was tossed to and fro And then

  212. disciples didn't know what was happening on the other side

  213. of Little did they know they would get off that

  214. ship and go to another city of the ministry. God

  215. is calling you out of this storm. He's telling you,

  216. out of this storm. There's going to be a town

  217. the ministry. That's what'll be a time of worship, and

  218. there's gonna be a time of riche asy. You're gonna

  219. make it through it. You're gonna make it through it.

  220. In the middle in July nineteen forty two, there was

  221. a submarine and Maryland coached and all of a sudden,

  222. the machines and things, the sensors and started shutting down,

  223. and the submarine was started to take in water. And

  224. this scuba diver was swimming around and he seen the

  225. suit the submarine, and he's seen people beating on the windows.

  226. So he swimmed up to the submarine and there was

  227. a man he pointed at the at the middle part

  228. of the submarine that was inside and the submarine put

  229. his or the su stupa over put his ear to

  230. the submarine and the men and the inside the submarine

  231. was knocking on the submarine in Morse code, and the

  232. scuba diater told him, the news team there or whenever

  233. anything found out the situation. He said in the horse code,

  234. the man was saying, is there any hope? Is there

  235. any hope? Then being died at this submarine wishing there

  236. was hope. But I'm here to tell you that there

  237. is hopeing Jesus, There is hoping Jesus. You may look

  238. at it. There any hope, there's any hope that I

  239. want to get through this star. And Jesus says, yes,

  240. there is hoping me. There is hoping me. Looking out

  241. yesterday because the kids was playing in the water at

  242. the beach, I was just sitting there and I started

  243. to look at the beauty of that area, looking around

  244. at the trees and looking at the water. And God

  245. spoke to me, and still strong, boys, He said, do

  246. you think this is beautiful? Wait? Do you make it

  247. to heaven world? There's another side of this world. There

  248. is a place of no more troubles. The bottle says,

  249. all the sorrows, the pain, the former things that passed away,

  250. they all all things become better. There's no nonna be

  251. more sorrow in heaven. There's not gonna be no kids.

  252. We're not gonna have no more great yards. There ain't

  253. gonna be no more sickness.

  254. Let me tell you, it's gonna be a land of

  255. joy and peace after this. There's no other side of this.

  256. It more this begin You o serving God.

  257. And people going through There's another side of this.

  258. You may be going through a lot today, but know

  259. that there is another side of this. You maybe pays

  260. a trial, the tribulations, Just know that there is another

  261. side of.

  262. This, a land of milk and honey. I'm enjoying peace everlasting.

  263. That's kind of God that we sir.

  264. Godrey built their faith by showing them his true power.

  265. He was in the middle of the ship, no doubt

  266. I could. I know. We don't say that to the justice.

  267. But maybe some of them had probably question where's Jesus at? Now,

  268. where's he at? Why ain't he helping us? Where's he at?

  269. But he walked up to them. He restored their faith.

  270. Adrian Rogers said, the faith that hasn't been tested can't

  271. be trusted. Oh, if you'll be going through, your faith

  272. gets tried. But if you'll make it through, you'll trusted.

  273. There's been times that I face things and then I

  274. go back and remember things that I went through and

  275. if I tell myself, if I made it through, that

  276. I can think it through. This what a God we serve.

  277. And in the moment, in the moment, are we going

  278. to accept defeat? What are we going to accept? Jesus,

  279. It's not time to accept defeat. You may feel I

  280. just don't know what I want to do. Jesus knows it.

  281. Jesus knows. I got a privilege other day go out

  282. with brother Justin and seeing them men and women on

  283. the street, and that'll umble yet that I'll go you

  284. real quick, just telling my children in the car I

  285. was driving back to our place, say, I said, that

  286. could be us at any moment, could be us at

  287. any moment. Just be grateful that the Lord hasn't it

  288. all seeing eye that people are down on the walk,

  289. and then they truly need Jesus in the life. They

  290. would just get a hold of you. God can work miracles.

  291. He's a miracle working God. Yeah, mirable working God. I

  292. was glad to gold with somebody today and turned over

  293. to the brothers a few minutes. But I do want

  294. to appreciate you all. It's a great honor to come

  295. here and reach you. I do miss your pastor. Uh,

  296. he's just got a good spirit. When he come up

  297. there in Kentucky, he visited us, and you just stir.

  298. He just had a good spirit. And I will say

  299. this before I turn it over my mother. And when

  300. we come back last time, we come down to here

  301. and think with my mother. She told me on the

  302. way home, she said, there's just something about that church.

  303. I've never felt the spirit of God like I've never

  304. felt besides that church. And my mother, when she was younger,

  305. she went to church all over. She could visit a

  306. lot of churches. She had a home church, but she

  307. would visit all over. But she said, I'll entr ever

  308. felt the spirit of God. I got dead. The failed

  309. and I saddened to say this. She had during her time,

  310. she had a lot of hurt. There a lot of

  311. people that had hurt her church, even when she was

  312. on her last days. Some family and some friends, and

  313. they they claimed to be friends us To put that,

  314. lady said some things to her that truly troubled her,

  315. and she was she was anxious when she walked to

  316. these doors first time. She was nervous. But she told me,

  317. she said, don them. People didn't even know me and

  318. they came and hugged me and told me that they

  319. loved me. And they said she said, I you know

  320. some people will to say that, she said, but I

  321. n I felt, Yeah, I felt it. There's a difference

  322. in that. And she said I never felt love ever

  323. in any church. So I said that to say this,

  324. thank you, thank you for showing kindness and love for

  325. my mother in her darkest days. She told me, I'm sorry, brothers,

  326. I'm trying to hate us back over. But in her

  327. last days, she said, I sure wish you I had

  328. to strength, we would just back up and moved down there.

  329. That's so much she y'all meant to her. When you know,

  330. I get tickled. I got tickled at her, and I'm

  331. not talking to be all Saturday there. She she called me,

  332. and whenever you guys go by and whistlers found out,

  333. go ahead mixt with her. Now. I thought I had

  334. told her, but I couldn't remember if I did or done.

  335. She called me. She and her mind was slipping sometimes.

  336. She called me. She said, hey, you know the business

  337. out of the mixt on her? And I said, yeah,

  338. she's doing it. Let's listen, and she she tell me,

  339. all listen you should have listened to pastor he but

  340. it was wonderful. It fed my soul. She couldn't get

  341. to church. The pastor hell. Pastor Hell fed her. You

  342. want a passion that you all have, I'm sorry. Brother.

  343. Another thing that touched me my dad. He's so hard

  344. against God. He has a lot of or a lot

  345. of against dog that puts that way, and he has

  346. a lot of motions against Yeah, that's good, But him

  347. and my mother would sit there in their living rooms

  348. and put on next thing, and my dad would have

  349. tears rolling down in his eyes when it was pastor

  350. preach and I'd go visit, and my dad he rarely

  351. says anything about church fathers rarely. He looked over right

  352. and he said, you know all that brother in Hounds

  353. and he gets there, he said, that's a man of

  354. God right there. You didn't just leave a mark on

  355. my mother, but you did on my dad as well.

  356. When when y'all's pastor brother Hound, whenever he came to

  357. visit and he visited mam, he left going back over

  358. a couple of days and talked to that and he said, you.

  359. Know what, he said, that man walk.

  360. That a man from southern Florida would come to Kentucky

  361. just to visit your mom to pray for her. And

  362. he said, there he is still true Christians. That's what

  363. a testimony, you know. For the hell didn't have to

  364. do that. He didn't have to do that too, but

  365. he did. He wasn't selfish about it. He didn't say

  366. he was too busy. He told me, he said, I

  367. was in prayer and he said, God told me to

  368. go to Kentucky to pray for your mom.

  369. And you do not know how much that God to you.

  370. You know, I have a good pastor, good good, treat.

  371. Him good, take care of him. You never know what

  372. you had next to No, I don't mean that before.

  373. I don't mean that in a bad way. A lot

  374. of people don't have pastors like you. I'll just put

  375. it that, sleep with it. But another side of this,

  376. whenever you're facing there's another side, enjoying peace.

  377. I appreciate your time, ay man, but cable come give

  378. us a song. I blie thank the Lord for the

  379. Word of God.

  380. This morning. I mean, let's stand and then we'll work

  381. towards and antiver. We thank God for the word, Amen.

  382. Prees Godsalm sixteen cent preserve me, Old God. For indeed

  383. do I put my trust, He'll do to trust this morning,

  384. let's come and pray. Man, if you're in the middle

  385. of something, A man I know a man who can,

  386. don't you a man that will preserve you and bring

  387. you to the other side. Amen, let's pour it out

  388. and full of.

  389. The Lord the man. Enjoy your time with the Lord

  390. this morning. Let's talk to him for a while. Amen.

  391. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thanks here,

  392. let's think you that for good. Yeah. Thirty
