  1. If you have your Bibles with you this morning, will

  2. you turn with me to the Book of First Kings.

  3. May I direct your attention to the nineteenth chapter and

  4. the fourth verse. Again. It's good to have Reverend chip

  5. Roy with us today. We appreciate him so much. Prior

  6. to his conversion, he called himself hippie Chippy, and I

  7. told somebody today, y'all can tell I haven't been around

  8. my barber in a couple of weeks. I feel like

  9. Hippie Jeremy, and I will be getting a haircut tomorrow.

  10. Isn't it amazing how a holiness preacher can feel condemned

  11. with just the slightest overgrowth near those ears. It's so

  12. crazy how we can feel so convicted. I thank God

  13. for that conviction. Praise the Lord. Brother Nathaniel, First Kings,

  14. chapter number seventeen, Verses number twelve through fourteen. Brother Jesse

  15. Matthew chapter number six, verse number thirty three again, and

  16. it's good to have Brother Samuel and Sister Megan back

  17. in the House of God. We thank the Lord for

  18. him bringing Mariah through once again. Thank you for your prayers.

  19. It's good to have Brother Nathaniel and Sister Rachel and

  20. their family home. We terribly missed them. We're glad they

  21. had a great time on vacation and that he was

  22. able to slay a deer and bring home some veniceon

  23. praise the Lord. I haven't seen any of that yet,

  24. but I've been told he did kill a deer. Brother Nathaniel,

  25. First Kings, chapter number seventeen, verses number twelve through fourteen.

  26. My brother, and she said, as the Lord, thy God

  27. liveth I have not a cake, but a handful of meal,

  28. and a barrel and a little oil, and a cruise.

  29. And behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may

  30. go in and dress it for me and my son,

  31. that we may eat and die. And Elijah said under her,

  32. fear not go and do as thou has said, But

  33. make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it

  34. unto me, and after make for thee thy son. For

  35. thus saith the Lord God of Israel. The barrel of

  36. meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruise of world fail,

  37. until the day that the Lord sendeth reign upon the earth.

  38. Remember this part of Brother Nathaniel, just read to us,

  39. that I may go in and dress it for me

  40. and my son, that we may eat it and die.

  41. I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost titled

  42. it is enough even if you're running on empty. It

  43. is enough, even if you are running on empty, Brother

  44. Jesse Matthew, chapter number six, verse number thirty three. But

  45. seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness,

  46. and all these things shall be added unto you. Amen,

  47. Let's stand for the reading of our golden texts one

  48. Kings nineteen one through five. Please, the Bible says and

  49. A have told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and

  50. with all how he had slain all the prophets with

  51. the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah's saying,

  52. so let the gods do to me, and more also,

  53. if I make naught thy life as the life of

  54. one of them, by tomorrow about this time. And when

  55. he saw that, he arose and went for his life,

  56. and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left

  57. his servant there. But he himself went a day's journey

  58. into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a

  59. juniper tree, and he requested for himself that he might die.

  60. Did y'all notice that, and he requested for himself that

  61. he might die. Do y'all remember the words of the

  62. widow of Zarafaith. We're gonna partake of this little more soul,

  63. and then my son and I are going to die.

  64. And he requested for himself that he might die, and said,

  65. it is enough now, O Lord, take away my life,

  66. for I am not better than my father's. And as

  67. he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold there

  68. an angel touched him and said, unto him, arise and eat.

  69. After he prayed, Lord, take away my life, he went

  70. to sleep. I wonder if he thought he'd die his sleep.

  71. Let's pray, Heavenly Father, We love and we praise you.

  72. We thank you for the opportunity to be in your house.

  73. We thank you for this thy people, this precious people

  74. of God. We pray Lord, that you would anoint me,

  75. set a guard at my mouth, and help me to

  76. say the things you would have me to say. Nothing

  77. more less, annoint the ears of this thy people, that

  78. they might hear what it is the Spirit of God

  79. says unto this church, not of my words, but of

  80. your word. We pray God anoy us and help us

  81. this day. Let the sayings go below the shoulders. Let

  82. them saturate the soul and the spirit of men, women,

  83. boys and girls. And may we depart this place you

  84. fully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus's name in the church

  85. said amen again, preaching a message the Holy Ghost titled

  86. it is enough even if you're running on empty. Our

  87. text is found in an Old Testament book of the

  88. Holy Bible, the Book of First Kings. This particular book

  89. of the Bible is chalk full of content which may

  90. be pulled and used by the preachers who feel in

  91. need to share the word of God with others. Aren't

  92. you thankful this morning that there are preachers in this

  93. building whom are men with a burden to share the

  94. word of God with you. In fact, the Bible said

  95. faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  96. When I began to preach, I was very impressed by

  97. the content found within the books of First and Second Kings.

  98. And today this morning again I have been led to

  99. preach from out of this book of the Bible. I

  100. want to share with you a word that came from God,

  101. the statement it is enough, echoed and reverberated throughout the

  102. quarters of my heart in recent days, and I knew

  103. that God would speak to somebody this morning, perhaps somebody

  104. that is dealing with despair or someone who is dealing

  105. with discouragement. I don't want you to be dismayed or

  106. disquieted concerning the events and the circumstances of your life.

  107. There is no doubt there have been some things of

  108. recent days that have shaken the people of God. Even

  109. in this country. We have felt the tremors move beneath

  110. our feet as our world has been shook. And I

  111. believe it is God that is shaken things up. And

  112. I believe it is God who controls the wind and

  113. the rain who is shaking things. Brother Caleb, the one

  114. that controls natural occurrences and events. Forget about Mother Nature.

  115. Let's talk about Father Nature and Father Time. The Lord

  116. God Jehovah, the one that was shaking things up here

  117. in the days of Ahab, and the great Man of

  118. God Elijah. I found here in this copy of the

  119. ancient manuscript the Bible, that these two men were vastly different.

  120. They were different in so many ways, just as different

  121. as the King James translation is from other perversions of

  122. the Bible. The contrast between these two is amazing, the

  123. vastness the difference between the versions. When you think about

  124. this man Elijah, what do you think of? You think

  125. of a locus chomping honey dipping proper, a man of God.

  126. But when you think of Ahab, what do you think of,

  127. Sister Woote? You think of a man that is dainty,

  128. a man that might be dapper, but one that is

  129. also slightly effeminate, one that is not the leader of

  130. his household, one that has not clothed in camel's hair,

  131. but clothed and fine raiment. One is wearing rough hide

  132. and the other one is wearing a soft garment. Brother Staring,

  133. I've heard of you comparing the versions of the Bible.

  134. But thank God for the King James translation. And I'm

  135. glad that you can compare a man of God against

  136. a man of this world and come to the conclusion

  137. that they are different. I'm glad that you can put

  138. certain preachers of certain affiliations, denominations, and associations up against

  139. others and draw this conclusion that they are vastly different.

  140. In fact, in the case of a Hab and Elijah,

  141. we find one was true to the Lord God, Jehovah,

  142. while the other forsook the teachings of the Hebrews and

  143. brought idolatry into the land of Israel. At this time

  144. before Israel emerged, two roads. One was a highway called

  145. holiness that led to heaven. The other was a broadway.

  146. It's a spiraling downward way that leads to a devil's hell.

  147. One of these men was a locust chomping, honey dipping preacher,

  148. and the other daintily. I'm telling you this morning, you

  149. not getting it. I can tell that you are not

  150. getting it. We are dealing with the same thing. In

  151. Pentecostal and holiness churches today there are a lot of

  152. sissifi and effeminate Daddy called and Mama sent preachers children

  153. of politics, just like a have. But Elijah was a

  154. man of God, a prophet of power. One possessed the

  155. backbone of a railroad iron, and the other was spineless.

  156. His spine was as limp as a jellyworm. One was

  157. a praying man, the other a double minded man who

  158. was unstable in all of his ways. Considering this, this

  159. instability in his life in business and religion was the

  160. expected norm for him. But people expected the opposite from

  161. the great Man of God, Elijah. Both men were subject

  162. to like passions as you and I are. But one

  163. of these men chose to pray to the True and

  164. the Living Godho of God, while another one found himself

  165. busy with daily affairs. In regards to the humanity of Elijah,

  166. our golden text shed this light. If you'll look with

  167. me at first kings, chapter number nineteen and verse number four.

  168. The Bible says, but he himself went a day's journey

  169. into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a

  170. juniper tree. And he requested for himself that he might die,

  171. and said, it is enough now, O Lord, take away

  172. my life, for I am not better than my father's.

  173. I agree with that there is nobody in this building

  174. any more worthy of the blessings of the Lord than

  175. anyone else. I agree that there's nobody in this building

  176. more deserving of having your prayers answered more than anyone else.

  177. We have heard it said before that God is not

  178. a respector of persons, but he is a respect of faith.

  179. The reason why the Father of the faith and the faithful,

  180. namely Father Abraham, was able to receive his prayers answered

  181. it is because he was a man that was devout

  182. in his religion, a man that was sure in his

  183. devotion to God. And we find the same thing with Elijah.

  184. The reason why God answered his prayer through a whisper

  185. or through the fire was because he took time to pray,

  186. and when he prayed, he prayed through sincerity and humility.

  187. From reading scripture, we know that this man is a

  188. praying man, and we know that the Lord hears and

  189. answers his prayer. I thank God for the praying people

  190. of Bethel. I know there are some prayer warriors in

  191. this building, and I know that there are some in

  192. the making. And I tell you this. If you're gonna

  193. make Heaven that's celestial city you'll forever abode and dwell

  194. in place, You're gonna have to become a person that

  195. is interested in prayer and practices prayer. If you look

  196. at First Kings, chapter number nineteen, in verse number four,

  197. our Golden text does not give us additional information or

  198. details concerning all that Elijah had experienced him in his lifetime.

  199. We can reach a conclusion of why he is dealing

  200. with discouragement and why he feels defeated although he is

  201. not defeated at all, Brother Jesse, we can understand why

  202. he has drawn a conclusion that his life must be

  203. over and that God is finished with his ministry. And

  204. I feel like I'm pre the preachers and ministers and

  205. elders of the Bethel Holiness Church and of other places

  206. today who are dealing with discouragement. We've all heard the

  207. scripture preached on that goes like this, for we shall

  208. reap in due season if we faint not. I'm telling you,

  209. once somebody gets weary of spirit, and it is hard

  210. for them to pivot on their heels and head back

  211. in a direction that involves persecution. And that's exactly what

  212. Elijah knew that he was gonna face with some more persecution.

  213. I know there's some of you in this place that

  214. have been taught at other locations that the righteous do

  215. not suffer persecution. That is totally contrasted to what the

  216. Word of God says. That's indirect contradiction to the Word

  217. of God. The righteous, the all of God, they shaft

  218. suffered persecution. In fact, every great person of God that

  219. has done mighty exploits for God has suffered persecution at

  220. some point. And we find ourselves dealing with discouragement. This

  221. man of God must have been dealing with things that

  222. most children of God would never have to experience. Some

  223. sister woot and I'm glad that I don't know what

  224. it's like to stare a king and a queen in

  225. the eyes and to tell them that what they're doing

  226. is displeasing to God. It's hard enough to stand in

  227. a place called God's house and to tell people who

  228. are called of God and those that profess to be

  229. the children of God, that what they're doing is sorely

  230. displeasing to God. I probably will never have the experience

  231. of standing in the prasss of a politician or a

  232. DIGNITARYI in telling them, as John the Baptist and Paul

  233. and so many others did, that what they were doing

  234. was in offense to God. In fact, the Bible tells

  235. us concerning Elijah, and a certain messenger from the kings

  236. and the queen's court had come to him with a

  237. word from the notorious Queen of Israel herself, the notorious

  238. Jezebel has threatened Elijah, Oh, come on now, And her

  239. words were these words, so let the gods do to me,

  240. and more also if I may not thy life as

  241. the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time,

  242. this woman gives him a death threat. And for every

  243. vibrant young male in the building, I've sensed and that

  244. your head has swolso been and your chest has puffed

  245. out right now through arrogants some pride in your spirit,

  246. you have said that a woman would never cause me

  247. to run. Listen, this is Jezabel, notorious, evil, wicked Jezabel.

  248. This is not your mother in law justin her road cap.

  249. I know that y'all had a friendly banter over the years.

  250. I've heard her playfully tell you to shut up, and

  251. I've seen you turn red and turn your face to

  252. the side and laugh it off. This woman is not

  253. playing with Elijah as Sister Simmons does with brother Justin. Oh,

  254. I'm telling you, what in the world is running through

  255. your head? What was running through the head of Elijah

  256. at this time that he would tell God it is enough.

  257. I've had enough of ministry. I've had enough of studying

  258. and preparing for conflict to concerning the things of God.

  259. You will remember the great prophet Jeremiah equally, he faced opposition,

  260. including the threat of his very life. Equally, he received

  261. a death threat, and at some point, after praying through

  262. and after feeling like it is enough, he said his

  263. word was in my heart has a file, shut up him,

  264. my bolts, and I'm weary with forbearing her, and I

  265. cannot stay. What he meant was I must preach. I'm

  266. a preacher and I must preach. And what was Elijah

  267. dealing with, butter Jeremy to cause him to get to

  268. the place where he says, it is enough for the

  269. property power. It is enough of miracle act, a miracle

  270. being performed. It is enough of this successful and fruitful ministry.

  271. Bell Essaniel, What calls this good Man of God to

  272. feel this way? Order into church? And I know you're

  273. up in years, But what has caused you to feel

  274. like God is done with you? What is it causing

  275. you to close your eyes at night, hold that foam

  276. of feathery pillow, and to say, God, it's okay with

  277. me if you take me home in my sleep. Oh

  278. come on, now, I'm telling you there's still a generation

  279. that needs your prayers. Why are you dealing with discouragement? Elijah?

  280. Look around you and see that God has a plan

  281. even when you feel like her, it is enough. Recognize

  282. the fact that if you're running on empty, little is

  283. much when God is in it. I'm not advising anybody

  284. to get in there. God giving auto mobile and no

  285. run on empty, you'll run out. The girl comes times

  286. in your live preacher, pastor first lady minister held her.

  287. Even young person, when you feel like you've done all

  288. that you could do to go on another day, to

  289. get as fired, what's more to preach and to teach

  290. you again? I want you to know little is merchan

  291. when God is in it. There's some of you. You pray,

  292. you seek the Lord, and as much as you do it,

  293. you still feel like the needle is That's only I

  294. want to tell you who if you like your needle,

  295. it's mounting. Only this morning, though, that it is enough.

  296. You see. The answer was in his head. He just

  297. didn't understand. It's not enough to die on. It's enough

  298. to live on. It's enough to run on. I'm telling

  299. you here today it is enough to go on. It's

  300. enough to preach on her. Yes, it's enough to die

  301. on her. Let's live another day, Let's walk another day,

  302. Let's preach another hour. A man so he receives a

  303. death threat. And the devil has lied the elders in

  304. this church and young people and ministers and preachers, and

  305. he's told them your ministry's over because God with you.

  306. God's finished with you. I remember several years ago, the

  307. enemy of my soul afflicted my body. And to be

  308. honest with you, even though I never spoke it out

  309. for many different reasons, inside of my head, it was

  310. running through my mind that it was the end. And

  311. one night God spoke to me and said, have your

  312. son the than you'll pray for you and also your

  313. other sons. And I asked them to come over here

  314. and to pray for me. I'm telling you I've never

  315. told them this. I'll tell them now. But while they

  316. were praying, the hole it goes smoothed on them, and

  317. God touched me and my body in a way like

  318. I'd never been touched. And then I heard, brother Nathan,

  319. you'll praying through the spirit. Oh, come on. God uses

  320. me to pray for you. God uses me to speak

  321. to you. God's using me now to speak to you

  322. to tell you it is enough to live on. It

  323. is enough to go on. Sister Howell, when we feel out.

  324. We just got a little to give. We're starting to

  325. feel aches and pains that we did not expect to

  326. feel around the age of fifty. For the Plat said,

  327. it is not gonna get to any easier. But I know,

  328. sister whooting, Oh, listen to me, it is enough to

  329. live on. It is enough to run hona. It is

  330. enough to preach a honah. It is enough and Betternessanuel

  331. was praying for me that night, and the Holy Ghost

  332. took over, and I remember him saying, yet many days

  333. he hit, many days, he hit many days. You'll live

  334. and you'll preach. And I want you to know. We

  335. may not have printed it in the press, we may

  336. not have broadcasted it on the baths of broadcasts, but

  337. God let me know. You may suffer persecution enough, you

  338. may have to deal with affliction, but it is enough.

  339. And whoever you are here this morning, one mercy dropper

  340. out of heaven. Here's enough, one bood drop, how to

  341. the man your friends, here's enough, one fitless folken word

  342. from the Holy Ghost. Here is enough. Amen, Amen, he's cool.

  343. You'll tell it. What cause this great Man of God

  344. to feel this way? Sister Howell? He felt so depleted?

  345. What's going On. Was it because Sally May had issued

  346. a death threat? No, it was Jezebel, the most wicked

  347. witch of all witches within the borders of Israel, one

  348. who controlled the commander in chief, who controlled one of

  349. the greatest militaries on the face of the earth. Let

  350. me ask you a question, brother Dealon Wood, what would

  351. you do if Nancy Pelosi said that about you, Dylan,

  352. I've got a problem with you, And y'all know what

  353. Jezabel said, Elija, What if Miss Nancy's Pelosi said, Dylan,

  354. You're gonna have me on your trail and the Congress

  355. and the President and the most powerful military on the

  356. face of the planet. I'll tell you what would happen,

  357. Brother Dylan would instantly be deflated. That Barney if five

  358. mentality that that boy's got would instantly be deflated. Come on, now,

  359. Dealingwood has never come across the Sheriff Andy Griffith. He's

  360. come across as Barney Fife. His dad's come across to

  361. as Andy Griffith. But I want you to know, right here,

  362. I could be preaching on a Dealon's disappointment and the

  363. fact that somebody like Nancy Pelosi would even know its

  364. name is this because come concerning. It is very concerning

  365. that she would send a letter through a messenger to

  366. Dealing right now. He said, well, I'd pick up this

  367. and I'll pick up that. It's kind of like Joseph

  368. Biden said to some of the Republican Conservatives, which I

  369. am of that camp. He said, you're little forty five

  370. is nothing in the face of an F sixteen fighter jet.

  371. You know what He's right? And that's what Elijah knew.

  372. He had such enough to know one of the greatest

  373. militaries on the planet. That's my name in their hand

  374. and his operation Elijah Dealer wan if he was Operation Dealing,

  375. what if they were trying to destroy you and elders

  376. and preachers. You know that's what's going on. As good

  377. as I do, these unions ain't yet figured it out.

  378. For this operation We're out the Saints, operation destroy the believers?

  379. Say where the faith? Then? For racing up? Whar them out?

  380. I want you to know those sights of God. He

  381. is hold my side, Amen, Amen, he is on our side.

  382. Jesus is on our site. I'll tell you what would happen.

  383. Brother Dylan would find the hide out, the hidden, the

  384. undiscovered hideout of al Capone, which is somewhere in the

  385. heart of the Everglades. I went down to the Everglades.

  386. When I first come down here, brother Whooton invited me

  387. for a couple of years, please come, I told Charity.

  388. I said, I will not go because I do not

  389. want them to think I'm in it for their money.

  390. I wouldn't even hardly go out to eat with them.

  391. I wanted to prove to them I was not in

  392. this for their money. I was in it for their souls.

  393. He promised me, for a space of about two years,

  394. come it won't cost you anything. That is a big

  395. incentive for a family of eight, and that is a

  396. big savings and a big motivator for somebody to say

  397. it's not going to cost you anything. Is there a

  398. church in this house? All the penning, the penny pension,

  399. Saints of God, all those that are a little bit

  400. stingy and greedy, ought to say amen. And so old

  401. brother Whooton extended an invitation to go down there, and

  402. while we were on one of them swamp buggy rides.

  403. So after two years we accepted his invitation and went

  404. down there. And he wouldn't let me pay for anything.

  405. And so we're riding on one of them swamp buggy rides,

  406. and one of his professional guides was taking us through

  407. the Everglades, and he said, we're not exactly sure where

  408. our capons hiding place was, but we know when he

  409. got in trouble with the federal government, he went as

  410. far south as he could and went into the heart

  411. of the Everglades. Before it was the land of the python.

  412. But I want you to know, before it was the

  413. land of the python, it was a land of plenty

  414. full panthers, the land of the panther. Are y'all with

  415. me right here? And al Capone hid out from the

  416. federal government. And I'm telling you, Elijah is not so

  417. much running out of fear as the realization this woman

  418. is going to have me killed. I'm not saying he

  419. is dealing with fear in a sense that he's afraid

  420. of her. I'm telling you he is a realist, and

  421. he understands who this woman is. He understands who is

  422. behind this woman, who she employs. And so, Brother Philip,

  423. we realize this man has valid, valid reasons for tucking

  424. tail and running seemingly. But I don't believe so much

  425. that he was tucking tail and running. I believe he

  426. was kind of like the white flag on the back

  427. of a deer, if you know what I mean. He

  428. was running out of town with a finger pointing back saying,

  429. it's still gonna rain. That's what God said. And I

  430. feel like Brother Jesse, he was running on empty. But

  431. there's no doubt he's dealing with a discouragement that he

  432. did tell that having Jezebel, he said, it will not

  433. rain again until I pray again. A pairaphraise. But brother

  434. stare it. He said, just let it be known to you.

  435. It will not rain again until I pray again. And

  436. this is why I ain't have exhausted all efforts and

  437. hot pursuit of Elijah. They knew this man's gotta pray again.

  438. And that's what I want to tell some people in

  439. this building this morning. Don't be discourage, don't give up.

  440. It is not enough. Prayer. Pray again, somebody pray again.

  441. That was the message of Elijah to the young man.

  442. Have you saw the cloud yet? I'll pray again. Have

  443. you saw it yet? I pray again. That's what I

  444. want to tell the older That's what I want to

  445. tell the preacher. That's what I want to tell the

  446. young person today. Go ahead and pray. What's more, And

  447. if I remember correctly, Elijah said that the Lord told

  448. him that he better escape for his life. I'm gonna

  449. look it up this afternoon. But if I'm not mistaken,

  450. this man knew he needed to escape for his life,

  451. and so the Lord led him. A man, steps are

  452. ordered by the Lord. A good man, steps are ordered

  453. by the Lord. And the Lord led this good man

  454. to the camp site at Cherith. That would preach the

  455. camp site at Cherith. The preachers can steal that one,

  456. and I won't hold it against them. It won't be

  457. the first time. You can have it. Boy, you don't

  458. even have to say I preached it. But the Lord

  459. led him to a campsite at Cherith. This campsite was

  460. as convenient as a five star resort. There's a nice

  461. brook of water flowing by a right there, and there's

  462. a haven full of ravens. Brother, Chiproy, you like birds,

  463. you'd really like these birds because you like to eat

  464. as much as I do. And you know what they

  465. were doing. They were dropping food from out of the sky.

  466. Ravens were sharing their food with a real man of God. Oh,

  467. come on now. And when God moved the raymons out

  468. of that vicinity, the Lord sent the man of God elsewhere. Meanwhile,

  469. the brook dried up, and the Lord sent him to

  470. a city called a Zerapath, and there was a widow

  471. woman who would be the one to sustain him. I

  472. want you to know it works on two ends, on

  473. one end and the other. At both ends, God works

  474. because a few Bible students will remember this. I'm walking

  475. over here around the Bible student area, and over there's

  476. another Bible student area. The Bible said that God had

  477. commanded a woman there to sustain him. This lets me know,

  478. Brother Ethan, she knew he was coming. Oh, come on now.

  479. She's running on empty. The part of all is all

  480. but spent. The barrel of our meal is all wasted away.

  481. And she's out there gathering a few sticks. And she

  482. had heard from God. If I'm not mistaken, this a

  483. region of Zeapat, and it's kind of the same area

  484. that Jessebel came from. It's called the smelting place. It's

  485. a place where they would take iron and alloys and

  486. purge it of its impurities. It was an undesirable place.

  487. It was just the wretch of a city, just a

  488. stitch and a mess. And God sent to this man Elijah,

  489. outside of the borders of where we would have thought

  490. the provision would have been made. You would have thought

  491. there to been a widow of Jerusalem, or a widow

  492. of Judah, or a widow of Dan. But this unlikely

  493. widow is the vessel that God chooses. She is not

  494. the one you would expect to be used by God.

  495. She's one hundred miles away from where Elijah had been.

  496. And I want you to know her here this morning. Now,

  497. if you'll stop praying with sincerity and through humility, it

  498. doesn't matter how far you feel you are from God

  499. or how far from the blessing you are. You could

  500. be physically one hundred miles away and God conscended up

  501. right to you. I said, God, that seeing your miracle

  502. right to you. So how did it happen that day

  503. when the wind blew and the ravens flew? What direction

  504. did they head in? I kind of have the feeling

  505. in my wild imagination that brother Nathaniel inherited. I kind

  506. of had the feeling brother ship there goes to birds

  507. like a compass. Oh, this Funday morning, I know he

  508. comes into the Arafat and out there is a little woman

  509. picking up a few sticks. She don't have a bundle

  510. of fire with brother Richard Jacob. She doesn't have a

  511. quard of wood. She's picking up a few sticks. That

  512. widow is airfath that nobody that no name. Are y'

  513. all listening to me? For those of you that deal

  514. with insecure, for those of you that deal with insufficiencies,

  515. for those of you that feel like you're unworthy? How

  516. about widows? How about it, widows of Bethel? How about it?

  517. Adding one more to the table is a big deal,

  518. isn't it? I'm sure it is. Adding one more placement,

  519. put one more plate, one more fork down is a

  520. really big deal when you're about to run out. One

  521. more family moving to Bethel pastor one more student in

  522. your Sunday school class teacher, One more mouth to feed.

  523. Somebody said, well, if I could get my church over fifty,

  524. then it would take care of itself.

  525. A whoa, WHOA feeling good this morning? One more mouth

  526. to feed, one more needy person.

  527. God that send her a hab, God that send her

  528. riches of Israel. God iss he said, oh, Bush, he

  529. sent her man of God. Oh come on. Now, that's

  530. what the man outside of the gate called beautiful needed.

  531. He didn't need silver and gold, he needed what they had,

  532. and what Elijah had he would give under her. And

  533. I'm telling you this morning, God's got enough and enough

  534. to spare for every person in this house. Amen. Amen,

  535. I'm sure Elijah was hoping. This is one of the

  536. givers of the church over here at the Snagoue. Amen.

  537. Whatever religion this woman is of, hopefully she is one

  538. of the children of God that is being grafted in.

  539. Hopefully she's a believer in Jehovah. And she was because

  540. she heard a little whisper that said, Help's coming, Helps coming,

  541. the answers on the way. And I'm telling the widows

  542. of Bethel, I'm telling the elders and the ministers of Bethel,

  543. and the preacher's wife and the laity. Help is coming.

  544. Help is on its way. I was sitting in solitude

  545. by myself over the weekend and I begin to smell rain.

  546. I'm telling you, when my natural news and natural sense,

  547. I smelled a thundershower and a thunderstorm like you could

  548. never imagine. And I said God, I feel you from

  549. the top of my head to the souls of my feet,

  550. I feel the spirit of God, Brother Nathaniel. And for

  551. some that has felt like they've been running on empty,

  552. it is enough, I said, it is enough. I'm sure

  553. Elijah's running on empty at this time. The widow is there,

  554. fat is running on empty, her child is running on

  555. if empty. But she's one of the givers in the church,

  556. if you know what I mean. Come on now, there's

  557. them people in the church that will give the shirt

  558. off their back. There are them people in the church

  559. that will give the shoes off their feet to God

  560. loveth a cheerful giver. And here's this woman not hiding

  561. in her house. She's out there draw holding them sticks up.

  562. And she knew what God had said. There is a

  563. man coming that will sustain thee. If you've got a

  564. drive an hour or an hour and a half, or

  565. two hours or one hundred miles, there is a man

  566. that will sustain you. Oh, come on, I'm preaching to

  567. them ladies and them men that will give you the

  568. last hushpuppy in the basket. That's who I'm preaching to

  569. right here this morning at Beth on those that would

  570. give you the last hushpuppy in a basket, my God

  571. in heaven. I wish the Holy Ghost had a title

  572. that the last hushpuppy in the basket, Praise the Lord.

  573. I love that. Hey man, some of you wouldn't do it,

  574. but there's some of you do it. And if you

  575. could give the preacher more than one more than the

  576. last one, you would you could just make some more.

  577. You would come on. If I just had what I

  578. needed in order to give, I'm telling you you're gonna

  579. have what you need in order to give. I can

  580. feel your teacher's burden. I can feel the preescher's burden

  581. when they're preaching. I can tell they pray and they

  582. cry and they say, God, you expect us to get annoyed.

  583. And I'm gonna tell you, put God first. Put God first.

  584. That's what God told Elijah to tell the woman, give

  585. me one first over there, and honder us my friend,

  586. and I will not give us a name right now

  587. because of the spies and listen over the airways like

  588. to contact other people's contacts. You know, the Bible talked

  589. about them kind that would come pass land and say

  590. and prose the lots. I will withhold his name, but

  591. sister how and I met him on faith by divine appointment,

  592. having no contacts in the country, and after praying, God

  593. led us to him, and he has become a great

  594. friend of ours and Brother Jesse. He sent me some

  595. pictures and videos yesterday's sister Janet Hill. At the end

  596. of their service, they were passing out clothing items. I've

  597. got videos and pictures. I wanna share it with a

  598. church of people rejoicing. I don't know who gave the overalls,

  599. but that was the highlight of the night. Them people

  600. were putting on overalls and apparently they had seen the

  601. farmers of America wear them. They had never had denim overalls.

  602. You could see everybody snatching their phones out of their

  603. pocket books and taking pictures of the Honda in them

  604. American looking cowboy of whatever, farmer boy overalls. And they're

  605. trying to figure out where did all these blessings come from.

  606. I tell you where all the blessings come from. It

  607. pays to serve God in the beauty of holiness. It

  608. pays to pray. I'm telling you, God led us to

  609. a people that we did not even know existed. How

  610. did God do that? Because he is God. I said,

  611. there's more from where that came from. For you, there's

  612. more for you from where that came from. When I

  613. first met that young man, I said something about we

  614. must put God first. And I saw him shake tremble

  615. just a little bit, and I felt like that spoke

  616. to him. And now there's not a conversation that we

  617. have that is not peppered with first God. He got

  618. a little bit backwards. I said, God first, Put God first,

  619. and sister woot and he will be in the middle

  620. of a conversation talking about the weather. It's flooding here.

  621. First God wanted Sister how because I told him, I said,

  622. young man, your grandpa was a holness preacher man, one

  623. of the greats over here in this country. He's the legend.

  624. So I'm discovering after meeting you, you look like a

  625. man of the world, but your granddaddy's the legend of

  626. this area holiness man. He said, sir, my people that

  627. I backslid from dressed just like your wife does, the

  628. ladies do, and the men dressed like you are. Now

  629. he looked like a man of this world. Shorts on.

  630. God led me to him, and after about an hour

  631. and a half I asked him, I said, do you

  632. know Jesus? He said, oh, boy, do I I was

  633. raised away. You and your wife are living. I said,

  634. hold on, no makeup, no jewelry, nothing. He said exactly.

  635. He said, I'll show you, and he took me to

  636. the church where holiness women are. No cut hair on

  637. the women, no makeup, no jewelry, with a praying pastor,

  638. praying people to get in the altar before and after

  639. the church, and prayed during the alder service. God was mindful.

  640. And now, sister, how here's him say it every day

  641. multiple times? God first his words. First God. When sister

  642. Crystal Harris moved down here, we had a service similar

  643. to this one, and I just thought of this. She

  644. came to the altar and she prayed. God spoke to

  645. a woman that had nothing more in a duffel bag,

  646. just a few belongings. Needed a job, needed, a house,

  647. needed a vehicle, homeless. God spoke these words Matthew six

  648. thirty three. But seeking first the Kingdom of God and

  649. his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

  650. I propose to you that the widow was therea faith

  651. was a god fearing woman who put God first, because

  652. when the test came to put God first through his man,

  653. she did so. I'm sure this widow who gave to

  654. Elijah was concerned about tomorrow. I don't know about tomorrow,

  655. but I know who holds tomorrow. Listen to the words

  656. of Jesus in the next verse Matthew six thirty four.

  657. Take therefore no thought for tomorrow, for themorrow shall take

  658. the thought for the things of itself sufficient. Unto the

  659. day is the evil thereof Tomorrow was taken care of

  660. because of this woman's obedience. Tomorrow was taken care of

  661. because of this woman's obedience. In verse number thirteen of

  662. first seventeen, it says, and Elijah said, unto her fear

  663. not go and do as thou hast said, And make

  664. me therefore a little cake first, and bring it unto me,

  665. and after make for thee and for thy son. For

  666. thus saith the Lord God of Israel. The barrel of

  667. meals shall not waste, neither shall the cruise of oil fell,

  668. until the day of the Lord send rain upon the earth.

  669. Back to our golden text. In the back of Elijah's

  670. mind was the answer all the time. It is enough.

  671. It is enough. The Man of God had the answer.

  672. You have the answer. He is enough. You may be

  673. fleeing from a spiritual notorious Jezebel, and you may have

  674. received death threats from a notorious Ahab, but your strength

  675. is in the Lord. Elijah's strength was their brother Nathaniel.

  676. He must draw from what was there. He must draw

  677. from the little. He needs to remember what the Lord

  678. told the widow of Zarafath. And this is what the

  679. Holy Ghost really dealt with me on the answers literally

  680. in his hand. He had been to the widow of

  681. Airfath two chapters prior, quite a bit of time back

  682. while he's dealing with Ahab and hit out, are y'all

  683. with me? What did our techs say? Shall we read

  684. it again? He's ready to die because he slew all

  685. of Jezebel's prophets on Mount Carmel. He brought them down

  686. from there after the showdown and slaughtered them. Is that

  687. right after fire had fallen out of heaven. He's dealing

  688. with discouragement. But Brother Jesse, he had prophesied and God

  689. had said to the widow sometime prior, you're gonna have

  690. plenty of meal and plenty of will until it rains.

  691. She's going to live on. It is enough until it rains.

  692. Some of you are getting it. Some of you are

  693. ready for a chicken. The answer was there all the time.

  694. The barrel of meal shall not waste. The crews of

  695. war will not fail. The promises aren't echoing in your mind.

  696. The promises of God are yeay and amen. It is

  697. enough until the Lord sends the rain. Until the Lord

  698. sends the rain, you can eat many days, widow of

  699. zarah Fath, until the Lord sends the rain. He is

  700. Jehovah Jirah, and he will supply all of your needs

  701. according to his riches in glory. You may continue running

  702. on empty, but you will eat for many days. Let's stand.

  703. Only those who have fault can relate to this message.

  704. Only those who have possessed and through great effort and

  705. work in labor, have found themselves depleted. Can they relate

  706. to this message and this morning's message. I'm not dealing

  707. with the weariness of the sinner. I'm dealing with the

  708. weariness of the saint. I'm not dealing with the one

  709. that is grieved of habitual sin and the consequences of

  710. their misdeeds and actions. I'm talking about the one that

  711. has just been given at their best, and the one

  712. that age is taking a toll on, and the one

  713. who can't regain their health, and the one that's just

  714. dealing with physical weariness. I'm going to tell you where

  715. our strength comes from from the Lord. Y'all may not

  716. think so, but our Sunday school teachers had to teach

  717. week in week out so as to how and I

  718. had business in Miami for a week. We came back

  719. for church Wednesday night, only to leave just before church

  720. started to go to the hospital hand the messages. Late

  721. that night, she said, well, I'm sure every bit of

  722. the rest that y'all got you've lost, Sister Howell said.

  723. Within twenty minutes of me heading north yesterday, she said,

  724. I could see the strain of the ministry on you already,

  725. because my mind went to today. Pastors live with that, whether

  726. they preach it or not, they live with it. Apostle

  727. Paul described it as this the care of all of

  728. the churches. Why the care of all the churches? Because

  729. he would pin those Pauline epistles that would bring strength

  730. to all of the churches, both then and the present

  731. and in the future. The burden the weight to the

  732. daddy that's doing his best to make ends meet, to

  733. the mother that's doing the best to pray for her children,

  734. to that one that's depleted. This morning, I have reached

  735. and preached to you. It is enough, even when you're

  736. running on empty. Could we bow our heads? I remember

  737. years ago preaching a message titled you can run, but

  738. you can't hide, And I'm sure countless the preachers have

  739. used that title. But a preacher from the state of

  740. Ohio was in the building, and it was probably in

  741. his early sixties at that time. I didn't expect him

  742. to come forward, but he come running forward, and he

  743. dove into the front pew, and he cried, and he

  744. prayed for an hour and at the church with a

  745. handkerchief in his hand. Wife in big tears from big eyes,

  746. he said, Brother Jeremy, only God could have known what

  747. I was dealing with, because here I am on up

  748. in years and I'm feeling washed up and worthless, and

  749. I've been running from the call. I think what can

  750. I do? What can I do? I'll tell you what

  751. you can do. You can run on and live on.

  752. Even if you feel like you're own empty. It is enough.

  753. I don't want to have a general alter call at

  754. this time. Is there somebody in this building right now

  755. that would come and pray? I know you're in here.

  756. I know the burden God gave me. A miracle is

  757. being prepared for you. There is a miracle into making.

  758. All through the night, God dealt with my spirit to

  759. tell you there's a miracle into making. There's a miracle

  760. into making. What about them promises? It's enough to hold

  761. on to them promises. God is not slack concerning his promise.

  762. The answer is in your head, it's in your heart.

  763. There's about twenty people responding. I even want to give

  764. our musicians a break today and let them be poured

  765. into the Lord's spirit. It is enough. Again, I remind

  766. you both are ready to lay down and die, Elijah

  767. and the widow. But when they woke up, it was

  768. God's will that they continue on. Be not weary in

  769. well doing for indue season. You shall reap if you faint. Not.

  770. Now is when we have to pray through humility and sincerity.

  771. You have to say God, this was for me. I

  772. needed this. Elijah was a praying man Ahab, a double

  773. minded man. One was stable, the other unstable.
