  1. All right, Brother Nathaniel Matthew chapter number four, versus number

  2. one through three. Brother Jesse Luke, Chapter number seventeen, verses

  3. number thirty two through thirty six, and again beloved our

  4. golden text the Lord put upon my heart as Ezra

  5. chapter number five, verses number two and three. Okay, Brother

  6. Nathaniel Matthew four one through three. Brother. Then was Jesus

  7. led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be

  8. tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty

  9. days and forty nights, he was afterward unhungered. And when

  10. the tempter came to him, he said, if there'll be

  11. the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. Amen,

  12. Brother Jesse Luke, Chapter number seventeen, verses number thirty two

  13. through thirty six. Remember Lot's wife.

  14. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it,

  15. And whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. I

  16. tell you, in that night shall be two men in

  17. one bed. The one shall be taken and the other

  18. shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together. The

  19. one shall be taken and the other left. Two men

  20. shall be in the field. The one shall be taken

  21. and the other left.

  22. Amen, Let's stand for the reading of our golden text.

  23. I would like to preach a sermon the Holy Ghost

  24. titled great opportunity and great opposition at the same time,

  25. Great opportunity and great opposition at the same time Ezra five,

  26. two and three. Then rose ups the Rubbable, the son

  27. of Sheltill, and Joshua, the son of Joseph Dac, and

  28. began to build the House of God which is at Jerusalem.

  29. And with them were the prophets of God helping them.

  30. At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on

  31. this side the river, and Shetharboznaye, and their companions, and said, thus,

  32. unto them who hath commanded you to build this house

  33. and to make up this walt. If you like to

  34. underline words in your Bible, underline the first part of

  35. verse number three. At the same time, underline these three

  36. words in verse number two. Then rose up. Let's pray,

  37. Heavenly Father, we love and we praise you. We thank

  38. you for the opportunity to be in your house this morning.

  39. I thank you for the precious people of God. We

  40. pray that you would anoint this thy servant. I need

  41. you God desperately. I need your help this morning. Help me, Lord,

  42. open somebody's eyes, as you have instructed me to do.

  43. Help me to open somebody's ears that they might hear

  44. the distinction of sound between the voice of God the

  45. voice of the devil. I pray that you would anoint

  46. the ears of this thy people, that they might hear

  47. what it is. The Spirit of God's says into the

  48. church today. Lord will be careful to give you all

  49. the praise and all the honor and all the glory

  50. in Jesus's name. And the church said, Amen, as you're

  51. being seated, look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor,

  52. did you know God and the Devil works at the

  53. same time? Oh? Yes they do. Our text is found

  54. in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the

  55. Book of Ezra. In this sacred writing we find the

  56. historical record of Israel's second Exodus. How many of you

  57. are are aware of the fact that they had a

  58. second and third exodus. In recent weeks, I have preached

  59. from text that told us of the time period when

  60. the Israelites spent many years in exile. I know there's

  61. people in this building today that can say you are

  62. blood bought, you're a born again child of God, while

  63. others can say I'm saved, sanctified and holy ghost filled.

  64. But somewhere in your past you were not always who

  65. you are today, and you were a captive held by

  66. your captors, the foes of your soul, not the friends

  67. of your soul, but the enemies of your soul held

  68. you captive. And thank God, the spirit of God came in,

  69. and the spirit of God begin to woo you and

  70. to draw you unto the Father. And thank God, we

  71. can say this morning we are saved, but perhaps not

  72. every person in this building is saved. But I pray

  73. that before you leave this place, that you will have

  74. a spiritual exodus, if you are living in a spiritual exile,

  75. and may God give you an exodus from your exile.

  76. And so in the land of Babylon, the prophet Jeremiah

  77. had told them that while they were there they would

  78. spend seventy years in exile. And the Bible students and

  79. readers will remember reading of a different time in the

  80. history of the Israelites, when they were held as captives

  81. in the land of Egypt. That is the most familiar

  82. exodus to the Bible reader and the Bible student. I

  83. dare say that every person in this building today has

  84. heard about the Hebrews exodus from the land of Egypt.

  85. Both of these exoduses are somewhat very significant, even concerning

  86. us as Christians or believers. You see, at the time

  87. of these two exoduses, there were different circumstances concerning the

  88. very first exodus. The Israelites made the exodus from exile

  89. under the leadership of the meek pastor Moses. Those of

  90. you that know anything about sin, you know oftentimes Egypt

  91. is referred to as sin. It is a symbol of

  92. a bondage in the Word of God. It can symbolize

  93. spiritual darkness or spiritual captivity. In the Red Back Hymnal,

  94. we sing a song and the lyrics go something like this,

  95. Egypt was once my home. I was enslaved, I was

  96. held captive. But thank God for liberation of soul, mind

  97. and spirit by the powerful hand of Almighty God. When

  98. the Israelites left Egypt. It seems that most of the

  99. Hebrews at that time were chapping at the bit or

  100. bitten at the bit in order to make their is

  101. to flee the land of Egypt. I know there's people

  102. in this building. You can tell me that you got

  103. sick and tired of your lifestyle while living in sin.

  104. You were not happy to be held captive by the

  105. strong influences of the enemy. You were not happy by

  106. the spirit of this world and the lust of the

  107. flesh doing whatsoever it wanted to do with you. For truly,

  108. before you came unto subjection, unto the spirit of God

  109. and the nature of Jesus Christ, sin dominated you. And

  110. we know that the apostle Paul felt, just like we do,

  111. that sin should not have dominion over you. And so

  112. these people that are descendants of Abraham, they felt the

  113. need to get out of this land of Egypt. And

  114. I don't understand how it is that so many people

  115. in this world today have no desire whatsoever to make

  116. an exodus from exile. I don't get the enthusiasm. But

  117. the Bible said that sin would be pleasurable for a season,

  118. that there would be temporal joy and happiness and pleasure

  119. while living in a lifestyle of sin. But brother Jesse,

  120. the children of Israel who had become the children of bondage,

  121. they welcomed an opportunity for self em betterment for themselves

  122. and also for their children. They're glad they've invited this.

  123. They prayed for this, they've cried out for this, and

  124. God heard them. They were under the tyranny and the

  125. iron fist of the Egyptian Pharaoh, and no doubt they

  126. had prayed for wings to take their flight, to make

  127. their departure from this lifestyle of Egypt in bondage. They toiled,

  128. and they labored against their own will. Perhaps it was

  129. hundreds of thousands of people, if not a million or more,

  130. that left Egypt that day under the command of Moses,

  131. those that were willing to do exactly as God had

  132. told Moses they should do. But during this exodus in

  133. the days of Ezra, not as many were on board

  134. with leadership. Not as many were willing to leave Babylon.

  135. In fact, you will find that only a handful, or

  136. a remnant, so to speak, were willing to make their

  137. exodus from this particular land of exile, Babylon. Most would

  138. have thought that everybody would have been on a when

  139. the Hebrew spiritual leaders begin to let him know that

  140. God is saying it is time for your deliberance. But

  141. not everybody was on board when the prophet and the

  142. priest Ezra begin to preach and say, hey, Hope is

  143. not only standing outside the door. Hope has opened the

  144. door for an opportunity of deliberance. Again. I'm preaching a

  145. message the Holy Girls tied up great opportunity and great

  146. opposition at the same time. I don't believe that the

  147. spiritual leadership over the Hebrews in Babylon at that time

  148. expected this reaction. It's the same feeling that the elders

  149. and the leadership at Bethel'll get. Sometimes when we enter

  150. a season of revival, we can tell that God is

  151. receiving the church with wide open arms, and there's a

  152. great opportunity before them for restoration, renewal, rejuvenation, and revive home.

  153. But the priest Ezra, who had been born in Babylon,

  154. no doubt of the lineage of the priest, he's getting

  155. stirred in a spirit and he's telling people it is

  156. time for us to leave this place. But not everybody

  157. is on aboard, and not everybody is of the same mind.

  158. Fast forwarding to the New Testament, the apostle Paul, speaking

  159. in the Book of Philippians around that fourth chapter, he

  160. spoke to two women that were gathered together in a

  161. house of worship, and he said, you a diason SENTICKI

  162. I beseech these sisters, and that you be a the

  163. same mind concerning the things of God, concerning worship, power,

  164. concerning the words of God. But in this time of

  165. Ezra's preaching, not everybody is warmly receiving it. And even

  166. this morning, that's the spirit of God. What's moving amongst

  167. seventy seven people, there might have been three or four

  168. people that just did not get why you are so

  169. excited about going to see the King. That I could

  170. tell the seventy plus people are sick and tired of

  171. the influences of the spirit of this world. And about

  172. seventy plus people are so through with it. They welcome

  173. the staging of the archangel. They look forward to the

  174. opportunity of hearing him a blood you, that golden trumpet,

  175. and to hear the bridegroom himself say, come away, my

  176. fair one, and enter into the joys of the Lord.

  177. But not everybody is welcoming an opportunity of great salvation,

  178. and not everybody is welcoming an opportunity of great deliberance.

  179. And I don't know about y'all, but I like her

  180. leaving the Biblonsa and the exoduses of self. I like

  181. leaving the spirit of the world and for the Spirit

  182. of God. I believe in it. I believe that the

  183. Church must and have the same mind. And according to

  184. the first few verses in the Book of Exodus, you

  185. can find that a pagan king named Cyrus and has

  186. felt inspired them by the Lord God of Heaven to

  187. send the Hebrew people back into their own land. Not

  188. only is he offering them release, he is giving them

  189. an opportunity to build the House of God. Yet again,

  190. this man is no doubt inspired, an auctioned of God

  191. to do something a wonderful. It is the fulfillment of

  192. the prophecy of Jeremiah when Jeremiah prophesied and proclaimed that

  193. the Lord would stir up at some time a pagan

  194. dictator in the land, the king of Persia. And this

  195. king goes so far has to put it in writing

  196. that the Lord God of Heaven and established him as

  197. king over all of the nations of the earth. Isn't

  198. it interesting to you right now that God could speak

  199. into the heart of a pagan king and that pagan

  200. King Caesar the opportunity by the four locks, and it

  201. seemed like his selfish desires would have said, as the

  202. Egyptian pharaoh had said, I don't want to lose and

  203. all of this labor force, and I don't want to

  204. lose all all of these residitions her Bablon. But he

  205. acknowledged the spirit of God was behind it, and he

  206. embraced the opportunity to send forth to these Hebrews. And

  207. I've already said it, I want to say it again,

  208. But most were unwilling to go, I said, most were

  209. unwilling to go holy a handful of people. This reminds

  210. me of the Upper Room. Jesus had ascended it to

  211. his father prior to his assision. He told some together

  212. hidden up per room. Jesus knew which room to reserve,

  213. because Jesus knew about one hundred and twenty would be

  214. in attendance. And while those one hundred and twenty were

  215. in attendance, the Bible said, the spiritum of God descended

  216. in that place, and they were filled with the Holy ghost.

  217. And after they were in the same mind. After there

  218. was a like minded This concerning worship, concerning prayer, concerning praise,

  219. and I want to preach to somebody in this building

  220. this morning. You have not yet to realized a great,

  221. if not golden, opportunity that God has presented you with.

  222. And the reason for that is you don't realize the

  223. opposition that is great against you embracing her the opportunity.

  224. If people could just see, it's the devil that's hindering me.

  225. While the Lord is working in me, both to will

  226. and ado of his good pleasure. Lucifer is also working.

  227. We cover ourselves sometimes with the comforter through these words,

  228. and we say, the Lord is the Keeper of Israel.

  229. The Lord neither slumbers nor sleeps, And can I tell you,

  230. nor does the devil. Every time God presents an opportunity

  231. for one of his children, the opposition comes, the accuser

  232. of the brethren comes. The Bible said that Jesus knew

  233. his ministry was about to begin at the age of thirty.

  234. There are many reasons for that. The god side of

  235. the god Man had an ability to preach beyond anybody

  236. his senior. While he was at the age of twelve,

  237. he was operating in the office of counselor or ya

  238. with me and the leaders of the Hebrew's religion Judaism.

  239. They marveled and said, how is it that a little

  240. little grasshopper, a little whipper snapper could know the things

  241. concerning the Word of God that this young man knows.

  242. But around the age of thirty, and young ministers consider

  243. this before taking a pastorate. Around the age of thirty,

  244. he would have been accepted as a man. He would

  245. have been accepted and respected of somebody that's lived a

  246. little while, and that would have understood the ropes of life,

  247. the ways of life. And so he began his ministry

  248. at thirty. But Brother erin one thing I took note

  249. of as I was praying about this message. He had

  250. to go into the wilderness. And it was not the

  251. opposition that led him to that opportunity. It was the

  252. Holy Ghost. He was the orchestrator and the organizer. The

  253. Bible said that Jesus, basically in the Holy Ghost and

  254. led of the spirit, went into the wilderness to be

  255. tipted of the devil for a period of time and

  256. act that same time. Are y'all getting that to act

  257. that same time in his life, act that same period,

  258. act that same moment, And he's going in there to

  259. be in large, although the god Man can't get any larger.

  260. He's one hundred percent God, he's one hundred percent man,

  261. he's deity. But he's going in there to get prepared further.

  262. The the man side of the god Man is sacrificing

  263. the flesh. The man's side of the god Man is

  264. being led to be tempted of the devil, and he

  265. will be an overcomer if he defeats the opposition. And

  266. the only way he will defeat the opposition is through

  267. the word of God. And he lets the devil know

  268. right off that the man part of the God Man

  269. does not have the words necessary in order to defeat

  270. you and to overcome the lust of the flesh and

  271. the pride of life. But the god part of the

  272. god Man referred back to what is written. And I

  273. want you to acknowledge here this morning that everything that

  274. I'm preaching them is the word of God. It is

  275. not surmising on my part. It is scripture. It is

  276. not self talk in his spirit talk. His words are

  277. spirited and his words are life. And the reason why

  278. you're missing the gold and opportunities in your life, it's

  279. because you're being defeated by the adversary. You're being overcome

  280. by the opposition. I know the devil does not like

  281. me teaching you this this morning. But when you realize,

  282. even in the blessing times of God, the devil will

  283. barge in with our permission and try to steal your blessing,

  284. you the thought of angelic being similar to that that

  285. protects the garden of Eden, would have protected Jesus from

  286. this hour of temptation, from this hour of testing, this

  287. hour of trial. You would think so, right Jesus even

  288. one time he said, brethren, I want you to know

  289. what you're doing is only because we've allowed you to

  290. do it. And he said I could call down twelve

  291. lesions of angels right now, and he demonstrated by his

  292. spoken word. With three words, he identified himself as deity.

  293. He said, I am he. And at that moment, six

  294. hundred people who thought they were looking for I am

  295. here Roman soldiers they hit their knees and fell on

  296. their face because of three words that he spoke. And

  297. Ezra in our text, he's getting anointed, if you would.

  298. He's standing on the edge of the platform and he's

  299. telling people. The prophecy of Jeremiah has been fulfilled. Time

  300. is up. It is now time for a change of heart.

  301. It is now a time for a change of master.

  302. It is now time for a change of season. And

  303. it's time for us to go and look behind us.

  304. The currents of Cyrus is driving us to our homeland.

  305. Look behind us, where is the opposition? Seemingly God removes

  306. all excuses from their hands. Sister, howel it can't be

  307. said in this exodus that the Egyptian pharaoh's fighting. It

  308. can't be said that the Babylonian emperor or Cyrus, king

  309. of Persia, is fighting. Come here, brother Philip. In fact,

  310. Cyrus is saying, what you all need to do his

  311. goal and build your house of worship. What you all

  312. need to do is go and do whatever it is

  313. you do inside of the house of worship. He knew

  314. good well that the God of the Hebrews was the

  315. same then as he had been according to the Babylonian

  316. record books. He was one that delivered his people from

  317. the burning fiery furnace. He was one that delivered his

  318. people from the mouth of hungry lions in a din

  319. of lions. This man knows that he knows that God

  320. spared Daniel through kingdom after kingdom after kingdom, And he

  321. knows what God did the babylon whenever he humblem never

  322. conness her. He knows what God can do to him.

  323. He knows he must submit to the will and the

  324. plan of God. The wowl life. He is that that

  325. God's people are not getting with the program. Ezra's preaching.

  326. Ezra's preaching. It's time. It's time. He's saying, it's time.

  327. It's time. It's time. It's time, it's time. It's time.

  328. Come here, brother Caleb, brother Philip, keep that up. Time,

  329. it's time. It's time. It's time. They're not worried about Cyrus,

  330. it's time. They're not worried about the Syrian army. It's time.

  331. Worried about the Babylonian army. Now about the Syrian army.

  332. They're not worried about the Egyptian army. But for some

  333. reason that just cannot get a hold of The preacher

  334. says the time. The preacher's preaching, and as was a

  335. telling them, you better go and do what God told

  336. you to do. It's the time you've got to build

  337. the Lord. You got to go back to the land

  338. of Judah and do what God has commissioned you to do.

  339. I'm telling somebody right now, there is an offered opportunity

  340. for salvation. There is an offered opportunity for sanctification. There

  341. is an opportunity for sanctification. There is an offered opportunity

  342. for sanctification. There is an opportunity for holy ghost baptism.

  343. There is a holy ghost opportunity right here today. My

  344. question of you is why not just stand up and

  345. start your march back into the will and the plan

  346. of God where the blessings of God flow. He offered

  347. the Hebrews an opportunity of a lifetime. Brother Caleb Roquat

  348. preached to us last Sunday morning about a promise, and

  349. he talked about that olive branch and how that was extended.

  350. And I thank God for promises. I don't want to

  351. bury them. I thank God for soldiers of the Cross.

  352. I don't want them to remain on the sidelines with

  353. their swords in the scabbard and their slings in a satchel. Oh,

  354. come on, now, some of you are getting it. An

  355. opportunity of a lifetime. They can go and they can

  356. build the House of the Lord. At that point of time,

  357. people feel like they can come to the Lord at

  358. a more convenient time. The Bible said, no man coming

  359. to the Father unless the Spirit draw him. And I

  360. can tell you when the Spirit is drawing you the

  361. same way as renew when the spirit of God's own

  362. even Cyrus. Oh, come on now, y'all live in America,

  363. the land of the Free, the home of the brave.

  364. They tell me, we have freedom of speech and freedom

  365. of worship. What would you do if you lived overseas

  366. in Iran right now and was being attacked by the

  367. United States government at the same time as a Christian

  368. being persecuted by your people. You do realize the Bible

  369. said all that lived godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

  370. It doesn't only have to happen on Cuban or Venezuelan

  371. or Iranian or Iraqian soil. There can be some things

  372. that come to these United States. Come come on. Historically,

  373. Israel has proven to us that God's special little somebody

  374. can experience the wrath of Almighty God because of civil

  375. disobedience and because of disobedience to the world and the

  376. will of God. And there is a purpose for God

  377. saying get out. There is a purpose for God saying

  378. this time because Cyrus, it's not always I said, Cyrus

  379. is not always gonna be an emperor. During the First Exodus,

  380. the Bible said, there rose a pharaoh. Prior to the

  381. First Exodus, there arose a pharaoh that knew not Joseph.

  382. And if he knew not Joseph, he knew not Joseph's daddy.

  383. Come on, now, are y'all with me? And people says

  384. to how it's like they've grown accustomed and acclimated to

  385. the conditions in Babylon. They've learned how to live in Babylon.

  386. I agree, we need to learn how to survive and

  387. thrive in Babylon. Whenever we're paying punishment that's due us.

  388. At the prophet Jeremiah said, you got to go through it.

  389. You got to pay the penalty. You got to pay

  390. the price. But when God says, you know what justice

  391. has been served, the penalty, the sindate has been paid.

  392. You've got to step out of exceis and go into

  393. the land of Promise. And here they are just a

  394. handful of sister wooting, just a handful. The first Exodus,

  395. hundreds of thousands, if not millions, that God is sustaining.

  396. And in this particular exile, in this particular exodus of Babylon,

  397. I think it's one or two or three, Brother Jesse,

  398. just a handful of people, just a handful of people. Well,

  399. I see the same people get touched in revival, will

  400. have to revival. The time had come. At this time,

  401. the Bible said, some strengthen their hands. Not only did

  402. they strengthen their hands, according to the word of God,

  403. some gathered vessels and materials of silver and gold. They

  404. had a plan, and some took with them beasts of

  405. burdens and precious things. And Cyrus was okay with them

  406. spoiling the land of Babylon. The Egyptian pharaoh wasn't happy

  407. at all about them spoiling them. What I'm trying to

  408. tell you is there's a difference in this first and

  409. second exodus. Here on the first exodus, everybody's excited, how

  410. about going. They're knocking down doors, so to speak, They're

  411. crossing seas and oceans literally. And Cyrus is okay with

  412. this particular exodus taking place because God is in it.

  413. You know why, because God's timing is perfect. But in short,

  414. there's only a few that will return with the Rebelba.

  415. Look at the first part of our golden text, Exodus,

  416. chapter number five and verse number two. It says, then

  417. rose up zer rubible, then rose ups a rubbible. Where

  418. are our Zerubibles today? Where are our zealous Zerubibles today

  419. that will believe the words of God that have been

  420. spoken out of the mouths of Ezras? And the Bible said,

  421. after he rose up to go, he got there, because

  422. there's a phrase in there say he began to build.

  423. Everyone knows the story of the destruction of Sodom and

  424. Gamar found in the nineteenth chapter of Genesis. God had

  425. told them through his servant, the Prophet, that secret had

  426. been revealed. Abraham knows about it, and not even knows

  427. about it. There's trouble coming. The Lord had discussed his

  428. desire with Abraham to destroy the cities of Sodom and Gamar.

  429. Why would the Lord do such a thing, the Bible records,

  430. because of their their gross sins, their idolatry, and their homosexuality.

  431. God's going to destroy two sister cities named Sodom and Gamara.

  432. The Lord revealed his secret, and Lot's family lingered. While

  433. God was given a promise to Abraham, I will preserve

  434. the righteous. And while Abraham is bargaining with the Lord

  435. and saying, God, if we find only ten, we'll just

  436. spare them sister cities. And God said, yes, if I

  437. find only ten, I will spare them sister cities. But

  438. Locke continued to linger, and I want to tell somebody

  439. in this building, your lingering will be your doom. It's

  440. more than skipping out on a church workday opportunity, skipping

  441. out on a revival moment, a revival time, a revival opportunity.

  442. The Lord revealed, and the Lord made us plan on

  443. God's words are yay and aymen, the righteous can be spared,

  444. But will they are they in fact righteous? God's sin

  445. Angelic messengers inside the wicked city to confirm with what

  446. seemed to be fleshly eyes of the ungodly actions. And

  447. he tried his best to persuade those that were lingering

  448. to go into a safer place. And that's what Ezra

  449. and Cyrus know. The people of God do not belong

  450. in the land of Babilah. And I'm telling you there

  451. is a reason for this great opportunity. The opposition is

  452. there because the opposition wants to destroy your life the

  453. same way the tyrant, the Egyptian pharaoh wanted to destroy

  454. the lives of God's people. I know you was raised

  455. in the house of God, but God does not make

  456. you except for the destruction of the enemy of your soul.

  457. At the same time, this morning, there's people who has

  458. their minds stayed on the Lord, while others have strayed

  459. from the Lord. There's some who have stayed, and there

  460. are some who have strayed. And I want you to

  461. know what will it be said of you? Did they

  462. stay or did they stray? Because some brother Nathaniel did

  463. not leave Egypt, some or Lot did not leave, baby

  464. lad on the first wave. And I'm telling you you

  465. better get ready and take the first caravan out of here.

  466. I said, you better take the first caravan out of

  467. your sinful lifestyle. Them, Colonel DOESSI years of them, moly emotions.

  468. Oh come on, the lust of the pleasure, the pride

  469. of life. You better make your escape from exile. Why

  470. the message was clear concerning all of these examples. Destruction

  471. is coming. Get up and get out and flee and

  472. run escape for your life. The time has come. You

  473. better get up while you can the time is now,

  474. God said, it's time. Now's the time. One would think

  475. the city of Sodom and the city of Gamar would

  476. have begin an evacuation. One would think the time is

  477. now that there would have begun an emergency evacuation. But

  478. Lime is now sitting there. And I'm telling you lingering

  479. can be the doom of you and your family. In fact,

  480. the entire cities of Sadom Agamar lingered because Lot lingered.

  481. Oh the loss of Lot. The same day he was warned,

  482. the fire fell at the same time, so to speak,

  483. on the same day when Lot gained his wife lost

  484. Lot's wife lost hers. I said, at the same time,

  485. when Lot preserved his life, his wife lost hers. That

  486. could happen right in the middle of a great Holy

  487. ghost outbreak, right in the middle of a great pythod,

  488. when the early Church was experiencing revival, when a man

  489. like Barnabas was giving everything he had and laying it

  490. out to the apostle speech and a nasense ofphire was

  491. conjuring up and concocting laws and lying to the Holy ghost.

  492. I'm telling you, God knows if you're seeking an opportunity

  493. to get out to God, if you're seeking an opportunity

  494. to get out, I said, Oh, God knows if you're

  495. seeking an opportunity to entertain sin. I said, if you're

  496. a seeker an opportunity to entertain sin, the opposition will

  497. no doubt overtake you. Yeah, Lot, you lingered long enough

  498. to put doubt in your wife's mind, to put doubt

  499. in your daughter's mind, while you stood at the door,

  500. while homosexual men wanted to defile angelic beings, while deliverance

  501. was there at the same time, you offer birds and

  502. daughters at the same time. Oh, come on now, while

  503. there's holy sacrifice, that's an unholy offering. Had to backtoy.

  504. I tell us somebody in this building. God knows whether

  505. or not you're gonna embrace this golden opportunity that for

  506. being over taken by the our position. Pray for me, Church,

  507. I feel the Holy ghost Jesus set in Luke, chapter

  508. number seventeen, in verse number thirty two, he said, three

  509. short words, Remember Lot's wife, what is the lesson for

  510. us to learn from this? She didn't make it in

  511. the middle of an exile, in the middle of an exodus,

  512. in the middle of a deliverance. She didn't make it.

  513. Somewhere between captivity and freedom, she got held up. I

  514. feel the Holy Ghost in this place, right in the

  515. middle of God, blessing a holiness church, right in the

  516. middle of God giving gifts and the men, right in

  517. the middle of God equip in the church with the

  518. best gifts, apostles, preachers, teachers of Vangelis for the perfecting

  519. of the church, right in the middle of some saying,

  520. finally I got that pastor I needed. Finally I got

  521. that first lady I needed. Finally I'm being fed. Let

  522. me somebody come on now, being over taken by the opposition,

  523. I'll tell you how you end up in the hands

  524. of the opposition is when you begin to wonder along

  525. the borders. Oh, come on now, between this world and

  526. not church. Remember Lot's wife, Yes, Jesus, what is there

  527. the learn? And as I was praying, the Holy Ghost

  528. brought this example to mine. Little did I know they

  529. are the next verses behind Jesus saying, remember Lot's wife.

  530. That's the power of the Holy Ghost. When and when

  531. praying the very next verse after Jesus said remember Lot's wife,

  532. he said, whosoever shall seek to save his life shall

  533. lose it, and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

  534. I tell you, in the night, there shall be two

  535. men in one bed. Oh, come on now. The one

  536. shall be taken and the other shall be left. Two

  537. women shall be grinding together. The one shall be taken

  538. and the other left. Are you all getting there at

  539. the same time? Opportunity and opposition. Naomi can preach this

  540. message better than any holiness preacher will ever preach it.

  541. She gave us the lesson of opportunity and opposition when

  542. she spoke to orpap and she said, I'm going back.

  543. I'm making my exodus from this land of exile. It

  544. may be the homeland of a Limileachum, excile, may be

  545. his preference, but I'm going back to the house of

  546. her bread. And she said, Orpah, what will it be?

  547. Will you go back to your mama or will you

  548. go with me your mother in law? And the Orpa

  549. kissed Nao man and said, thank her for the opportunity,

  550. but no thanks. I wonder what the opposition did. The Orpa,

  551. I said, I wonder what the opposition did. The Orpa

  552. I said, I wonder what the opposition The nasty, filthy

  553. Pagan more Abs, the more bos did the Orpa. I

  554. wonder how many newborn she had to sacrifice to the

  555. gods over the land of moabb. I wonder how great

  556. the loss was. Embrace the opportunity, Orpa, while Ruth embraces

  557. the opportunity at the same time. At the same moment,

  558. Ruth walks onto the pages of history, and she just

  559. continues walking while Orpa disappears in the prison house of Opposition.

  560. Luke's on marching, Ruth's on marching, and sister wooting whenever

  561. Ruth long story short, held old bed and old bed said,

  562. let me go to grandma. And Grandma picked up old bed,

  563. and Grandma had left the land of the Moabites. She

  564. come back home. She's holding little old bed. All them

  565. women said, is this Naomi? She said, don't you call

  566. me Naomi, call me Mara, because God all might has

  567. been a bitter towards me. He just eating me so bad.

  568. I say. Later on, though, when she's hoholding no bed,

  569. somebody come in and said, well, your preference is that

  570. I call you Maria. I can hear it. Now, shut up,

  571. never call me that again. Look right here, because Naomi

  572. and Ruth made their ex al. At some point, you're

  573. gonna get sick and tired of letting that cell phone

  574. be your ruler. At some point, you're gonna get sick

  575. and tired of spend an hour, two or three hours

  576. on social media every day. I was praying a couple

  577. of nights ago, and God spoke to me and said,

  578. ask them, are there as many fingerprints on their Bible

  579. as there is their cell phone? Huh? Are there as

  580. many fingerprints on your Bible as there is on your

  581. cell phone? Oh, come on now, sweet Lamb of God,

  582. it's the words of Jesus. Two women shall be grinding together.

  583. The one shall be taken in the other left at

  584. the same time. Since the Irish wooving will be pushing

  585. and crying and shouting. Although she could barely walk into

  586. the service, she'll be shouting and pushing and crying and

  587. getting in, grinding to the glory of God, grinding Amen,

  588. fighting the good fight, laying hold on eternal life. And

  589. there'll be somebody else seemingly out the grinder. But they

  590. ain't putting enough helbow Gree sent it. I said they

  591. ain't putting enough helbow Gree said it. In fact, their

  592. elbows have not been over their shoulders in a long time.

  593. They ain't lifting up holy hands without rating doubting in

  594. a long time. I'm telling you to behoove us to

  595. put a little more elbow grease in up and the

  596. welcome the revival that the Lord is sending us pushing away.

  597. A dear friend of mine recently, he said, how do

  598. you feel about end time prophecy? Are you pre post

  599. mid trip? What are you? I said, I'm gonna keep

  600. you guessing for as long as you live. I'm not

  601. gonna tell you, I said, but we better be ready

  602. to get out of here on a first shipment. I

  603. don't know if we're going by lamb by, said the

  604. old songwriter said, I don't guess we'll need wings, But

  605. you know what, I want to get out of here.

  606. I don't know that we're promised another revival, because we're

  607. not promised tomorrow. I don't know that your promise another day.

  608. That a Syrian or a Persian captor would come in

  609. and say, so to speak, figuratively speaking, here's the gate,

  610. keys to Babylon. Unlock the gate for these Hebrews, Cyrus, Cyrus,

  611. unluck at yourself. Welcome as they leave, tell them what

  612. to do, as was a preaching, it's time. Now's the time,

  613. It's time, now's the time. At the same time, some

  614. will be left, while others are taken, some lost, some taken.

  615. Lot was delivered, his wife was destroyed on the same day.

  616. Lot was delivered. His wife was destroyed on the same day.

  617. Lot was delivered. His wife was destroyed on the same day.

  618. At the same time, I'm asking you what will it be?

  619. Will it be delivered or destruction? Then rose up their rubberble,

  620. and he began to build. Then it rose up the

  621. rubble and he began to build. And after the same

  622. time came to them tt Na, the governor on this

  623. side of the river, and he questioned them concerning their

  624. labors that they are. At the same time, while they

  625. arose and begin to build, at the same time came

  626. the opposition. At the same time came the opposition. And

  627. can I tell you that because they hesitated when they

  628. were building the temple. The prophet Hagi, he got stirred up,

  629. and they started saying, you need to finish this work

  630. you've started. You need to finish it. You need to

  631. finish this work that you started. While Ezra's preaching, you

  632. need to finish it. Time, come on, you need to

  633. finish it. Heng God, God, you need to finish this.

  634. Tell you come too far to turn off. With the

  635. Israelies neglecting to build the temple, and hag Yll motivated

  636. some and they decided to get bid. Is he doing

  637. the right things? They decided to be easy, doing the

  638. right things because of their picture of Israel, and hang, y'all,

  639. are you gonna get guysie right now? Some are choosing

  640. deliverance while others might choose destruction. Thank you, brothers, Cyrus

  641. had given them authority. In our Golden text, we see

  642. great opportunity and great opposition at the same time. Let us,

  643. as children of God, get a burning desire to do something.

  644. And you know what, when you do, some enemy of

  645. your soul will fight you over it. And I want

  646. to close with this. It is said by the prophet

  647. Isaiah in the year Sure that King Euzaih died. I

  648. saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne high and

  649. lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Usaigh was

  650. a wonderful king, and the nation of Israel was devastated

  651. at his death, and the Prophet Isaiah said, I saw

  652. the Lord. I saw the Lord. He's still a conqueror.

  653. His train fills his temple. There's some of you right now.

  654. I want you to just humble yourself and say God,

  655. I don't want to let opportunity pass me by. Could

  656. we get someone to play and some to sing? In closing,

  657. as these altars are filled, they're full even now as

  658. people are praying. I want to ask you to get

  659. your clock in sink with God's clock. Then rose ups

  660. a rubbible. Get your clock in sync with God's clock. Well,

  661. can something bad happen to me while something good happens

  662. to others? One was taken, the other left. Both were grinding,

  663. Both were resting seemingly peacefully. One was taken, one was left.

  664. As you pray, I want to leave this with you.

  665. Years ago, I read when John Wilkes Booth assassinated President

  666. Abraham Lincoln. At that same time in history, the Secret

  667. Surface was being formed by the United States government, while

  668. the opposition the assassin was taken the life of one

  669. of America's most beloved presidents. The secret of us was

  670. being formed. Can I tell you it was too late?

  671. It was too late to deal with the opposition at

  672. that point. Don't wait until it's too late. Don't wait

  673. until your beloved is gone to do something about the opposition.
