Judah: Praise Awaits You, Lord (Judah's Baby Dedication) - Pastor J. D. Howell 2-15-2026

Okay.

This morning we have a special dedication service, the dedication

of baby Judah Edwards, the son or brother Jonathan and

sister hen of Edwards.

I'm looking forward to this services will be entirely different. Today.

I want to ask you to turn with me to

the Book of Psalm. May direct your attention in God's

library to the sixty fifth chapter. We will be reading

verses number one through five. Good morning to each one

of you. Is good to see all of the smiling

faces in the Lord's house. Brother in the thing of

Genesis chapter twenty nine and verse number thirty five, and

Brother Jesse Genesis chapter number thirty seven, twenty six and

twenty seven. We've been dedicating a lot of babies around here.

Our church is not growing because of the birth of babies.

That is what reason why it is growing. It is

growing because of the goodness of God. But there are

more adults here than there are babies. But I appreciate

these parents wanting to dedicate or give back their child

unto the Lord. Amen, Brother Nathan the Genesis chapter number

twenty nine, verse number thirty five, My brother and she

conceived again embarrasson and she said, now I praised the Lord.

Therefore she called his name Judah and left very amen.

That was something that praise the Lord about? Was it

not the birth of a healthy man, baby boy? Praise

the Lord, brother Jenesse Genesis chapter number thirty seven, Versus number.

Twenty six and twenty seven.

And Judah said, unto his brethren, what profit is it

if we say our brother and conceal his blood? Come

and let us sell him to the Ishmael lives, and

let our hand be upon him. For he is our

brother and our flesh, and his brethren working tent.

So this man will give.

Judah by interventions spared the life of his brother, and

his name means praise.

I wonder how many times you'll praise has g all deliverance,

your brothers and sisters. Let's stand for the reading.

Of our golden texts Psalm chapter number sixty five. We

will be looking at a song of David, reading verses

number one through five. The Bible said, praise waiteth for

THEE Old God insience, and unto these shall the vow

be performed, O thou that hearest prayer. Unto THEE shall

allfless come iniquities prevail against me? As for our transgressions,

thou shalt purge them away. Blessed is the man whom

thou choosest and causest to approach unto thee, that he

may dwell in thy courts. We shall be satisfied with

the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

By terrible things and righteousness. Will thou answer us, Old

God of our salvation, who are at the confidence of

all the ends of the earth, and of them that

are far off upon the sea, which by His strengths

that have passed the mountains, being girded with power. Let's

pray Heaven, the Father we love, and we praise you.

We thank you to the opportunity to come to your

house this morning. But we have felt your presence as

the children where us your culture work to lead upon

these various instruments, as they have sayn the songs of Zion.

I thank you for this, Lord. We do not count

it a little thing.

We come with a great thing that you have showed

up in our bits to let us feel your presence.

I pray that you and annoy this thy servant set

of guard at my mouth, and help me to say

the things you would happy to say. Nothing more or

less than annoy the ears of this our people to

hear what the Spirit of God says this morning to

this church, to Daddy and Mama the baby Judah, we

give you the praise and the honor and the glory,

and maybe depart this place joyfully and not sorftly. And

the church said to look at the verse number one again.

The Bible says, praise waiting for the Old God in sion.

Our texts found in an Old Testament book of the

Holy Bible. The Hebrew people had a Psalm book, and

you were looking at it. Inside of this book of

Psalm or one hundred and fifty chapters, a compilation of

poems and songs written by various authors.

When I was a child amongst.

Pentecostal and holiness people, I thought, because of assumption, that

all of these psalms were written by David. But as

I began to develop in my relationship with the Lord

and the growing grace, and in the knowledge of the

Lord Savior Jesus Christ and in his word, I started

looking at the caption underneath the chapter of Coddle and

realized that there were other men of God besides David

that were operating in the House of God through divine inspiration.

The Bible said that the whole lead me in of

God were moved on by the Holy Spirit, and they

put pen to parchment, and they gave us the writings

of this blessed divine library and comprised of sixty six books.

And I'm glad that there were people such as prophets, seers, singers, musicians,

choir directors, and song leaders that were in the spirit.

I feel like every one of us we have a

very important role to play in each and every service.

There are prayer warriors in our midst today as well

as those that are not at all hesitant to praise

and to lift up His Holy name. There's no doubt

in anybody's mind this morning the direction that I'm headed

in because of the name of Brother.

Everybody that's been in church for any period of time

at all, you know the name Judah means praise, and

this book of Psalm is full of praise, not.

The praise of men, like so many today seek.

So many are in hot pursuit, passionate, pursuit of affirmation, approval.

And applause from men.

But the Bible tells us in many different places not

to seek the praise of men for.

Our self or for our family.

But we are to seek the praise of God, and

that means we're to seek an opportunity to receive the

blessings of the Lord, and also to yield or surrender

ourselves unto Him through perfect praise. I believe every person

prison today knows something about Judah. I don't know that

there's one person that is ignorant, unlearned at all concerning

the Scripture in our midst today the Sunday School superintendent announcement.

At this time, there's about seventy five in the building,

and we have several outs sick today, but seventy five

people present today. I believe even the youngest of children

that participate and learn in the elementary or primary class

could tell us a.

Little bit about Judah.

Those of you in this building that would like to

share with me after church, you could say I know

a lot about Judah, pastor, because this was an offspring

of the great patriarch Jacob and brother Nathaniel. You know

that Jacob had nothing at all to do with the

naming of this son, and I want that.

To resonate with you.

A lot of you have made a natural assumption that

the father is the one that named this baby boy

in Judah.

There's no doubt.

Maybe he had something to say about it, maybe he

participated in that decision ultimately.

But as you read the Word.

Of God, you can see that Jacob's wife, Leah, came

to a point of the delivery this little child. And

as she delivered this little child, with complete gratitude for

the deliverance of a laborious childbirthing, she says, probably with

an expression second to none, that you all have ever

given when you found relief from some painful circumstance or situation.

She says, Oh, thank God, Oh thank God.

That is what the matriarch Leah said when she delivered

this little baby boy.

Oh thank God.

Through a heartfelt praise. She gave glory to God. She

didn't only thank the midwife for their service. She didn't

think Jacob for his participation in.

Bringing this to pass.

But she had an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving. And we,

as the people of God, should possess the same sort

of attitude. By command of the Lord and Therefore, consequentially,

the Hebrew people began a pattern from that point on

of properly expressing their feelings.

I scoured throughout.

The Word of God and looked for the first mentioned

principle of when somebody first expressed thanks to Almighty God.

And unless I over and looked something, I can tell

that Leon was the first recorded is hurt praise was

the first recorded instance of somebody just saying, well, praise

the Lord. There's no doubt my mind will sever that

other people had praised the Lord, but God especially noted

it right here in this particular part of the Bible,

and the Bibles as the praise is comely for the upright.

In other words, it is a beautiful act for the

child of God, which will always be a righteous person

to lift up an offering of thanksgiving. Those of you

that know your Bible knows that there came a time

when the Hebrew people would celebrate the harvest. And such

is the case when David put pin the parchment and

wrote this poem of this song which is the subject

of our attention this morning, the sixty fifth song. It

is a time of harvest celebration. It's a time of

gratitude and thankfulness to the Lord. You'll pine as you

read that particular psalm that David thanks God for creation.

He thanks God for the Creator. It is a psalm

about creation. It is a psalm about the Creator, all

about the provisions of God, but most and potently right

off the back, the emphasis is this, look at the

first part of that first praise, waiteth for the old God.

And for several days now I've had that expression and

that phrase roll over.

In my heart, and I wonder, what does this mean?

What exactly is the psalmist trying to say here? Because

I felt like the Lord gave it to me to

give the sister Hannah and brother Jonathan this morning about

their little baby boy. And if you look at this,

if you do not look at it with understanding and

with a prayerful heart, you will assume that you are

justified in your inaction of not praising the Lord. You

will assume that you are justified. Sitting in a waiting

room of.

Prayer, You'll feel like I can do it for as

Lord as I want to do.

I can sit here until I get ready to praise

the Lord.

The Bible said you can praise him at all times.

It said that praise continually come out of your mouth.

It said everything that hath breath, praise he the Lord.

And so there is some sort of celebration going on.

Perhaps it is the feast of Thanksgiving, and they're offering

up a sacrifice of Thanksgiving, and David is letting everyone

know we have properly prepared for this time of celebration

and thanksgiving.

It was David that said, I was glad to him.

I was glad when they said it to me, let

us go into the house of the Lord. It was the.

Writer that said, I will enter his gates with thanksgiving

and enter his courts with praise. I wonder how many

people the tutor of God today walk inside of the

sanctuary with the same attitude of gratitude or thankfulness. If

you look at that first part of the first verse

of the sixty fifth chapter and said.

Praise waiteth for thee or God. What this means is.

I am literally in fighting act the bit to get

into the House of God and to worship the Lord

cooperately and publicly, not to be seen of men, but

to express myself with all of my heart, all of

my mind, and.

All of my power.

We find that David is the King of Israel, and

he breeds to the music, direct to this song, and

he sets the tone for everybody that would understand, there

has definitely been a period of preparation over the last

few days. We've asked you to prepare yourself for the

second half of the revival. And all the musicians that

are part of this musical arrangement, their position and their

respective places, that are fingering their own instruments, that are

blowing their cheeks in and out, all of those that

are arming up their lungs, all of those that are

warming up their fingers, they are ready to praise the Lord.

And that's what David is saying here, praise waited for

the air of God. David is not put off the praise,

that is, do the lyric for another day, an hour.

He's not put forth the praiser, that is, do the

note for another month, another season of.

Just as soon as we can, as soon as I

get there, I will her offer praise. And what David

is saying he is God, after a brief for a

season of preparation and waiting, I'm about to offer up Thanksgiving.

I'm ready. What about you? Right now?

I know this is a baby dedication ceremony, but I

want to preach a sermon specific to Dad and Mom

and their baby boy and.

To the Bath of Holiness Church.

And as we bring this child help in the nurture

and the admonition of the Lord. We need to remember

the most importantly when we come to the House of

the Lord, he is praise and have to be continued

flowing out of our mouth. And I said it earlier,

praise is come for the upright and so get the

mood here. It's time to celebrate. Praise awaits you Lord.

Tonight we will celebrate Abigail rope CAP's fifth birthday. And

there is no doubt that mom and Dad and her

little sister has prepared a celebration for us to celebrate

her fifth birthday. What this is saying is God, not

only have you prepared a house for us to praise

you in, we have prepared a house and we have

prepared a praise to give you. You See, this word

or this name of Judah is the.

Very word that the Jews get their name.

If there hadn't have been a Judah, there would have

never been ajew. Are y'all listening these Hebrews knew what

it was like to be disciplined by the chastening rod

of God. And as you read this chapter you get

the context that they had sinned against God, and God

had withdrew his spirit, and because of their sins they

had been through pestilence, famine, and disease.

But they did what we all have to do from

time to time.

Unfortunately, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory

of God. And when and when and when, hopefully not often,

but when that happens, you have to do like these

Israelites had done. You have to fall on bend and

knee and offer them please to Heaven and ask God

to let it rain again. And the Bible shows us

here in this psalm that they even let them know

because of a heartfelt, true repentance, that is raining again.

God has smiled upon his creation.

We take for granted the fact that we have plenty

to eat. We take for granted to fact that there

is plenty of clothes to go around for every person

in this country.

We take for.

Granted that we have clean fresh water that we can

drink out of a bottle at our every well. Come on, now,

you're sitting there right now in the House of God,

in a second revival, in another season of revival. Some

of you are over the last few days because of

things not being made ready and things not being properly prepared.

You had to endure.

The famine a little longer. You had to endure the

pestilence a little longer. You had to go without rain

a little longer. As I prayed, Sister Hannah, God begin

to show me two seasons in this particular psalm. I'm

trying to be mindful of the occasion today. I'm trying

to stay cool, com and collected, but I'm really wanting

to go old school.

And preach up in here today.

But I found two points that God brought to my

attention as I prayed, and one of them is a

wait season. It is a very brief moment, a very

brief moment, for we should never pause, not at all,

for very long, to offer praise when it says it

should be continually out of our mouth. But I know

that musicians know what I'm talking about. It is the

perfect will of God for them to walk in here

with their guitars in the case, and they can't minister

to the people in the House of God, or offer

praising to the Lord as long as that instrument and

its case is in their vehicle. And that's what David

is saying. For right now, I'm between steps. For right now,

I'm between steps, but in a minute, I will be there.

Oh, come on now.

And I don't know why it takes so many people

the entire hour long service before they're ready to praise

the Lord. I don't know what you all came to

do this morning, but I came to praise the Lord.

And I want to tell the Lord his time has come.

It is his time. I've been chomping at a bit

ah week an along, looking forward to getting here and

entering his gates with thanksgiving and the walk in the

corner of his house we praise.

You don't even have to open with prayer.

I'm ready, I said, I'm ready to praise the Lord.

So David he lets them know.

You all may have these sacrifices of thanksgiving, but it

is not something that we're reluctant or hesitant at all

to give. Sister Hannah and Brother Jonathan, you waited patiently

on the Lord as you sought his perfect will for

your lives and after a brief pause in a relationship.

I believe it was a three month period of time.

Just as the Holy Ghost had spoken, brother Jonathan had

got serious in his relationship with the Lord, and he

got saved and sanctified and Holy Ghost feeled. And Sister

Hannah had been saved, sanctified and Holy Ghost feel for years.

And Brother Jonathan was a church boy. She did not

believe herself to be practicing missionary dating. She was not

trying her best to be unequally yoked and try to

convert Come on now a donkey to an oxen. She truly,

in an innocent heart, felt like this man is her

pulling partner. And from all exterior observations, no one would

think otherwise other than the spirit of God, who said, Hannah,

he is not yet prepared because of his age. There

is an immaturity there. There's an age gap between Brother

Jonathan and Sister Hannah. I mean, he was like eighteen

and she was twenty two, and he had not yet

experienced some of the things that young adults experience.

Are y'all with me?

And God said, let me hit the Paul's button on

this engagement, and y'all put this relationship on hold until

that young man has his priorities in alignment with my will.

Come on your listening right now. And because of his

obedience to the will of God, we find this young

man moving forward and enjoying the benefits of holy matrimony.

And because of Sister Hannah's willingness, say God, just for

a little bit, I will gladly wait. I want you

to know that weight season is very short. And as

I was praying, the Holy Ghost spoken in my heart

and he said, it's like the seasons of the Everglades.

And I said, well, you're talking to a swamp boy

right here. Say o Lord, He said, the Everglades, the

creatures and the creation, and the Everglades does not know

for seasons as the rest of the people of this nation.

The animals, the creatures, the living things of the Everglades

do not know winter springs, summer, and fall. And God

spoke into my heart and said, they only know two seasons.

And I said, what is that, Lord, And he said

count it up. And I said, Lord, if I had

to take my guests, it would begin in December, especially

this year we participated in winter. It would be about

from December under April, Sister Woot, when everything dries up.

And as I prayed in the spirit, I remembered that

Sister Howell and I just over the last couple of

days were on the banks of leke O Kochobee and

noted that the water levels had receded. And I said,

look at that, it has receded a lot. And we

looked at some of the watering holes between here and

the mighty lay cold, and I noticed that there were

birds that had made their nest amongst the reeds where

there once had been water. And I noticed there was

a lot of migratory birds down in this area. During

the weade and season of the Everglades, Sister Wooting, God

put the Everglades to sleep. The old reptilian creatures of

the Everglades, from the lizard to the crocodile to the alligator,

were not altogether interested in snacking on the Canadians geese.

They were not altogether interested in snacking on North Americas

the birds of fouling press. So they laid their little

babies in the nest that were planted in the Mighty Everglades.

Or y'all getting this, there was a brief.

Season for God to do what only God could do

in a warmer climate. And then as I was praying,

I said, God, somewhere around April showers will come forth,

them mayflowers, just a little rhyme that I had learned

as a little boy. And sister, how I got to

thinking about them canals that we raised our son and

daughters up around, how that the water would come rushing in,

and how life would be restored. And God said, this,

my son, is the second season, the wet season.

And I'm telling you as sure as I'm standing.

Here for the child of God, that wait season is

much shorter than the wet season. And what you ought

to do is praise the Lord in the waiting and

also praise him in the time of a rain. I said,

this particular chapter is about the Lord removing the famine

and the pestilence and bringing forth about the ful harvest.

And I want to preach a missus the Holy Ghost

title to praise awaits You Lord, and Judah Colin praise

awaits You Lord.

There is a reason that.

The Lord Gabe brother Jonathan is system Hannah Edward's this

baby boy, and it is to perfect.

Praise in the house of the Lord. For it. It

is true.

We're so ebro this little boy attends worship service. Everybody

will always be reminded that we, as the people of God,

are to praise the Lord every time his name is spoken,

whether in the back of the church or in the

protum of the church, which Sister Hannah says, Judah, you

gotta praise the Lord. When Sister Hannah says Judah, don't

do that, though, you gotta say, I'm gonna praise the

Lord anyway, whether Judah does it or not. Amen, you

gotta praise the Lord, whether your neighbor does it or not,

whether your neighbor has a staring problem or not.

You gotta praise the Lord.

As I woke up this morning, I heard the words

of the Sima saying, let us know praise him. Let

the trees of the field clap their hands. And then

I thought about every living creature. Let everything that hath

breath praise ye the Lord. Now, we said, brother Jonathan

and Sister Hannah, we're willing to wait up until a

certain point. And this does not mean that they were

gonna disobey the Lord and plow on through with praise.

That's another mental outline. A point that I have in

my mental outline plowing through with praise. This doesn't mean

we're gonna just plow through the providential plan of God.

It doesn't mean we're just gonna provide for ourself, and

it doesn't mean that we're just gonna do it our

way regardless of what He has for us. The truth

is that if we are in God's will, he will

not allow that weight season to last very long. Again,

if we are in the will of God and our

heart is right, and sin us out of our life,

and we have plaied for mercy and we have beg

for forgiveness, the truth is the we and the rainy

season's coming. We as Floridians, we know all too well

what it is to prepare for hurricane season. I remember

when some of you moved down here. You said, what

are we to do? I said, prepare, don't overprepare, but prepare.

And I want to ask you, how is it to prepare?

How is it to prepare for the House of God?

Does anybody know? Does anybody know that you have to

mentally prepare before you come to church? Do you know

that it behooves us to read our Bible and to

praise the Lord before we get to the house of

the Lord. That is the only way we're going to

walk through his gates with thanksgiving and coming to his

course with praise, as if we woke up excited about it.

There's some people, Sister Wood, and they just keep hitting

the palls on the alarm of praise. They just keep

hitting the palls on the alarm of praises. It's like

when you go to work, you prepare for that the

ways you prepare as you set your alarm clock. And

that alarm clock helps you get up in the morning

and tells you you got a limited amount of time

before you're supposed to punch the employer's time clock and

begin doing service unto your employer. And if you don't,

you're not gonna get a paycheck. Can I tell you

it's very rewarding to be excited about getting up and

doing the will of the Lord. The paycheck that God

gives us as we praise him in the beauty of holiness.

It's so much greater than anything that you'll get on

the printed page. Come on, now, it's so much greater.

They're not ready for revival. From what I'm telling right now,

we will not be going on in revival after tonight.

Just we're not gonna grind it out. You have to

want it, You have to want it.

I know the saints of this house, the elders and

the pastors, and the laity and the teachers and all

of us are ready. You could tell this morning that

brother rope Gap is ready. You could hear him plead

and please be ready, Please be ready, Please be ready?

Are you ready? Are you ready to praise the Lord?

The weight season is over, The wet season is here.

The Everglades is being flooded here just in a couple

of months. But we don't have to wait until April

showers bring May flowers. God's already released the pause button.

You've already had ample time to properly prepare. And can

I tell you preparation is vital. But more important than

that is, once you have been prepared, you've got to

go ahead and praise the Lord. It is more important

than your preparation. You cannot afford the oversleep. You cannot

afford to delay by hitting oh, come on the button

and tearing a little bit longer.

You've got to do it now.

I'm preaching a message the Holy ghost titled Praise awaits

You Lord. I wanna believe that that this little boy

be one to praise the Lord, and I want to

give God assurance because of the praise by example of

Dad and Mom, the little Judah will live up to

his name. Can I tell you that the Jews did

not always live up to their name? Juish people knew

their name Jus came from the name Judah, but they

were not always living up to their name.

How about you?

You're supposed to be a true blue, pure vanilla Pentecostal

child of God that ain't a praise the praiser Lord

in front of the world or in front of God.

Where is your praise? The waiting season has passed. I

feel it them my soul.

I'm waiting on Sister Woot, and I know you've been

waiting on Sister Wooting for about a week now. I'm

waiting on sister how well. I know you've been waiting

on her for about a week now. I'm waiting on Pastor.

Can't you tell I came with a praise in my

heart and in my spirit. People standing on the side

of the lines of the church with their swords in

the scabbard and a shovel in the hand and buried

their promises. And they got their arms folded after we'd

just saying I'm waiting on God, and Jesus gets behind

the preacher.

And folds his arms and says, oh.

No, you ain't pal I've been waiting on you to

praise me the way I deserve to be praised for

a long time. Can I tell you the greatest privilege

of offered to us on this side of eternity. It's

entering the House of God, the opportunity of entering the

House of God and offering him praise while being in

his presence and worshiping him with a heart, soul, mind,

and strength. Three years ago we broke out to revival

that is best stated as this our most pivotal moment

in the history of Bethel Hole in his church. People

that did not know what it was like to praise

the Lord with their heart, in their spirit, with their mind. Yes,

but people that did not know how to praise him.

Sister Wooton stood outside the doors, and in that revival,

we had no scheduled preacher.

In that revival.

Pastor Howell didn't have an itch to preach in that revival.

The musicians were not scheduled to play their instruments. They

were not commissioned to strike one note, much less accord.

The singers were not to mount the platform and to

build out a song in perfect harmony. In that revival,

God spoke to us, said, you unlocked the doors of

my house at starting time exactly. And so I watched

from seven to seven point thirty as the children of

God pulled up into the churchyard, and as they stood

out there, careful not to vex the Lord, not to

grieve his spirit, not to upset him. There was no

conversation about the latest movie on Netflix. There was no

conversation about who is the champion of the World Wrestling Federation.

There was no conversation about who won the Super Bowl.

Everybody was in that weight season. And it was a

short wait by the Jesse, a very short wait. And

I remember after people standing out there in the presence

of the Lord, sometimes after ten minutes with their mind

on the Lord. It doesn't take very long. As what

I'm trying to demonstrate. It tells me, when you come

in here with your mind scattered, you feasted on something

else else right up until the point of getting here,

because as we stood out there and people begin to say,

almost under their breath, glory to God out here somebody else,

So we'll praise the Lord. And then the praises got

a little elevated, meaning they intensified, meaning they increased in number,

voices got a little bit louder, and before too long

it was I can't see who it is, but I

hear them out there somewhere as about sixty something people

out here ten minutes early praising the Lord and revival

every time we did that broke out in the churchyard

before we ever came in. At seven point thirty, when

we walked in through that doorway, when them glass doors

were open, people entered His gates with thanksgiving. They came

into His course with praise. I'm preaching a message the

Holy Ghost title, Praise await you, Lord.

Don't you feel like he deserves glory and honor and praise?

Before you leave your house, you out to say, Lord,

you deserve what I'm about to give you. Corporately, Lord,

you deserve what we're about to do. The come on,

that's the assembled body of Christ.

The Lord. You're about to be praised for your honor

and for your glory in namesake.

I remember watching as the Saints of God gathered in,

nobody felt to stop at their pew.

Isn't that interesting?

Nobody was speaking a word of instruction, nobody was speaking

a word of organization, nobody was speaking a word of administration,

nobody was speaking a word of authority, and everything was

decent and in order because everybody was mining the ultimate authority,

the Holy Ghost.

And there is a time for these kind of revivals,

and that was time.

We got format, we've got structure, and we've got leadership here,

but it was time. And you know what, brother, I

watch just one after another got literally enveloped in the

power of the Holy Ghost. People that normally came to

church unprepared, and you could tell a lot of times

when they left, they were almost prepared.

When they left.

After two two and a half three hour revival service,

they were almost prepared. How do you know that, because

whenever I would get outside and go to leave, I'd

hear somebody coming through the darkness, pastor pastor, pastor wait

a minute, pastor, pastor, pastor, wait a minute, and they'd

say things like this, I almost ran to the glory

of God today. They'd say things like this tonight in

that PM service, I felt like I should leap for

joy and give him praise. I wasn't worried about what

anybody thought, and I just asked the question, why didn't you?

Then somebody say, I felt like clapping my hands above

my head.

Why didn't you? Then somebody said, well, like I says

in the Word.

Of God, I felt like shouting under God with a

voice of tripe, not through a defeatice.

And I say, why didn't you then?

And you know what, sister would some of them same

people a decade later, ten years later, are still telling

me what they should have done. I remember when that

eighty year old deacon of this church told me that

God told him thirty years prior to get down on

his knees and crawl across the front of a church.

He said, I beat myself up over that for years.

He said, I've had about six pastors since then. I've

told him all the story about the night I disappointed God.

He said.

I'm not a very emotional person, but I knew that

God had told me to do that exploit and God

had let me know he would touch people in a

mighty way if I would do it, not that that's

why we do it, but God and let him know

why he needed to do it. And that old man

thirty years later is telling me he's crying the blues.

Tears are flowing down his face, his cheeks have turned red,

he's upset. And I answered him differently than his previous pastor.

There's not that I'm any better, not that I'm any wiser,

nothing that my counsel was any greater. But I just said, well,

if God told you to do it thirty years ago,

don't you believe he's still waiting on you to do it?

And you know what he said, that's right. He told me.

He didn't tell me I had a certain time.

Period to do it. He said, tonight, I'm gonna obey God.

I said, I wish you wered. And in that little

storefront church, that eighty year old man got down.

On hands and knees.

It wasn't an the possibility, but God enabled him to

do what God had told him to do. And I

want you to know God's word is permeated with the

instructions of praise, and God will enable you to give

him perfect praise.

Praise is comely for the aupright all the beauty he had,

Praise all the beauty he had. Praise.

I want to there's a little baby boy that will

remind us of the necessity of praising the Lord at

all times always. I felt a holy ghost right now.

So Leah had felt overshadowed by Rachel. Leah had felt

overlooked by Jacob, my brother Jesse. What a lot of

that he dearly loved and he worked hard for, and

then he had two more that were given him by

She felt like Jacob just didn't quite love her as

you're at.

Give him praise.

Let the praises flow, Let the adoration and the exultation

of his name go forth. I think it would be

appropriate for Sister Hannah Edwards to take little Judah around

the church and offer her praise to the Lord. For

that is what she's doing today. She's offering her praise

to the Lord. I'm offering my little Judah to the Lord.

I'm giving back to God what he gave to me.

God gave you something to praise him over. Waters you

praise Him for that very thing. Thank God for redeption,

thank God for salvation, thank God for sactification, thank God

for Holy Ghost, baptism. Praise the Lord, Lord, and we

offer up to you thanksgiving, and we offer up to

you gratitude, and we offer up to you our heartfelt

warm us. Praise, praise await you, Lord, would dedicate him

to you today.
