  1. I want to preach a message the Holy Ghost titled

  2. when Christ cleanses your temple, Brother Nathaniel, Leviticus chapter number

  3. fourteen Versus number thirty three through fifty three, and Brother

  4. jesse John chapter number two, versus number thirteen through seventeen.

  5. Brother Nathaniel, would you read that, Leviticus fourteen thirty three

  6. through fifty three.

  7. And the Lord spake under Moses and on the Aaron, saying,

  8. when ye be coming to the land of Canaan, which

  9. I give you for a possession, and I put the

  10. plague of leopardsy in the house of the land of

  11. your possession. And he that owneth the house shall come

  12. and tell the priest, saying it seeming to me there

  13. is at it, where as it were a plague in

  14. the house. Then the priest shall command that they empty

  15. the house before the priest go into it to see

  16. the plague, and that all that is in the house

  17. be not made unclean. And afterwards the priest shall go

  18. in to see the house, and he shall look on

  19. the plague and behold it. The plague be in the

  20. wall of the house with hollow strakes greenish or reddish,

  21. which is in the side at the lower than the wall.

  22. Then the priest shall go out of the house to

  23. the door of the house, and shall shut up the

  24. house seven days. And the priest shall come again the

  25. seventh day and shall look and behold of the plague

  26. be spread in the walls of the house. Then the

  27. priest shall command that they take away the stones on

  28. which the plague is, and they shall cast them into

  29. an unclean place without the city. And he shall cause

  30. the house to be scraped within around about, and they

  31. shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without

  32. the city into an in an unclean place. And they

  33. shall take other stones and put them in the house

  34. of those stones in the place of those stones, and

  35. he shall take other mortar and shall place the the house.

  36. And if the plague come again and break out in

  37. the house, after he after that he hath taken away

  38. the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and

  39. after it is plastered, then the priest shall come and

  40. look and behold that the plague shall be spread in

  41. the house. It is a fretting leoprosy in the house.

  42. It is unclean. And he shall break down the house

  43. and the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and

  44. all the mortar of the house, and he shall carry

  45. them forth out of the city into an unclean place. Moreover,

  46. he that goeth into the house all the while that

  47. it is shut up, shall be unclean until even and

  48. he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes,

  49. and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

  50. And if the priest shall.

  51. Come in and look upon it, and behold, the plague

  52. hath not spread in the house after the house was placed,

  53. and then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because

  54. of the plague is healed. And he shall take, and

  55. he shall take to cleanse the house two birds and

  56. a cedar wood, and scarlet and hissop. And he shall

  57. kill the one bird in the in an earthen vessel

  58. over running water. And he shall take the cedar wood

  59. and the hissop, and the scarlet and the living bird,

  60. and dip them in the blood of the slain bird

  61. and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

  62. And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of

  63. the birden with the running water, and with the living bird,

  64. and with the cedar wood, and with the hissip, and

  65. with the scarlet, but he shall, but he shall let

  66. go the living bird out of the city into the

  67. open field, and make an atonement for the house, and

  68. it shall be clean.

  69. Amen, all right, sir, remember this. I believe Christ's actions

  70. of cleansing the temple that day were rooted or seeded

  71. in this particular instance. Leviticus, chapter number fourteen, verses number

  72. thirty three through fifty three. This instance and this example,

  73. Christ was attempting to cleanse or purge the temple, just

  74. as these priests had done. Christ is the high priest,

  75. and he was trying to clean their temple. Amen, cleanse

  76. the father's house. Brother Jesse John chapter number two, Versus

  77. number thirteen three seventeen.

  78. Brother and the Jews.

  79. Passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

  80. and he found in the temple those that sold oxen,

  81. and sheep and doves, and the.

  82. Changers of money sitting.

  83. And when he had made a scourge of small cords,

  84. he drove them all out of the temple, and the

  85. sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changer's money,

  86. and over threw the tables. And he said unto them

  87. that soul does take these things. Hence make not my

  88. father's house a house of merchandise, and his disciples remembered

  89. that it was written the zeal of thine house.

  90. Hath eaten me up? All right?

  91. So John recorded a temple cleansing which took place at

  92. the beginning of Christ's ministry. I don't think very many

  93. of you in this building this morning know that Christ

  94. attempted to cleanse the temple twice. Okay, So, brother Jesse,

  95. just read where John recorded a temple cleansing which took

  96. place at the beginning of christ ministry. You all know

  97. we'll soon be celebrating Easter. Just before Christ came into

  98. Jerusalem and became the sacrificial lamb for us, he attempted

  99. once again to cleanse the temple. So Matthew recorded a

  100. temple cleansing at the end of christ ministry. Okay, Matthew

  101. recorded a temple cleansing at the end of Christ ministry.

  102. Let's stand.

  103. Matthew, chapter number twenty one, verses number twelve through seventeen.

  104. The Bible says, and Jesus went into the Temple of

  105. God and cast out all of them that sold and

  106. bald in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the

  107. money changers and the seats of them that sold doves,

  108. and said into them it is written, my house shall

  109. be called the house of prayer. But she had made

  110. it a din of thieves. And the blind and the

  111. lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

  112. Immediately after the temple cleansing, miracles of healing began to

  113. take place. How important is it that our personal temple

  114. and the local assembly where we attend worship services be cleansed.

  115. It's very important.

  116. If the miraculous power of God is to be manifested,

  117. our temple must be cleansed. And the blind and the

  118. lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

  119. And when the chief priest inscribed saw the wonderful things

  120. that he did, and the children crying in the temple

  121. and saying Hosannah to the son of David, they were

  122. sore displeased, and said, unto him, hearest thou what these say?

  123. And Jesus said, unto them, yea, have he never read

  124. out of the mouth of babes and sucklings? Thou hast

  125. perfected praise. And he left them and went out of

  126. the city into Bethany, and he lodged there. Let's pray,

  127. Heavenly Father, we love and we praise you. We thank

  128. you for the opportunity to be in the House of

  129. the Lord this morning. I thank you for this precious people,

  130. people who are called.

  131. By your name.

  132. God.

  133. We pray that you.

  134. Would speak to each one of us, Lord, people that

  135. have chosen to forsake sin, to depart from iniquity, as

  136. they call upon your name, annoying this thy servant. I

  137. know I'm nothing, Lord. I cannot preach without you, Lord.

  138. I do know that you called me, and I need

  139. your help right now. Preach through me. Say to guard

  140. at my mouth and help me to say the things

  141. you would have me to say. Nothing more or less

  142. anought the ears of this thy people, that they might

  143. hear what the spirit of God says. Or to the church,

  144. what may we hear in heed? And may we depart

  145. this place joyfully and not sorrowtly in Jesus' name. And

  146. the Church said, hey, man, look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor,

  147. it's time for a spring cleaning.

  148. Amen.

  149. Our text is found in a New Testament Book of

  150. the Holy Bible. Saint Matthew's Gospel is the first of

  151. four Gospels, in fact that it's the first book of

  152. the New Testament. This past Wednesday night, the Holy Ghost

  153. led me and urged me to preach a message titled

  154. are You Revolving or Evolving? In that message, I encouraged

  155. each believer, our child of God or member of the

  156. Family of God, to examine themselves to see if Christ

  157. alone is the centerpiece in their Christian experience. And I

  158. believe it should go without being said that Christ be

  159. the centerpiece of every believer's life. But unfortunately, today we

  160. can tell that people are evolving into something other than

  161. the Bride of Christ. Our world ought to revolve around Jesus,

  162. and I hope that there are people in this building

  163. that change the way they looked at Jesus Christ after

  164. this past Wednesday Night's service. Since you profess to be

  165. the bride of Christ or the member of His body,

  166. you should understand that there's a great demand placed upon

  167. you for holy conduct and consecrated living. I believe in

  168. this holiness way, and I believe without it, no man

  169. shall see the Lord and Brother Nathaniel read to us

  170. a little while ago twenty or twenty one versus of

  171. scripture from the Book of Leviticus in the fourteenth chapter

  172. that spoke of the importance of keeping things clean of

  173. disease and filth. And it was the priest responsibility to

  174. keep things purged of those things that would defile them

  175. or their dwelling or their house of worship. And I

  176. feel it's your responsibility as an individual to sanctify yourself.

  177. The Bible used that exact expression in terminology, sainctify yourself,

  178. cleanse yourself from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit.

  179. How can you do that?

  180. You can only do that by washing yourself with the

  181. water of the Word. You can only do that by

  182. building up your most holy faith in praying in the

  183. Holy Ghost. You can do that by worshiping God in

  184. spirit and in truth. And I want to ask this

  185. group of believers this morning again, how consecrated are you?

  186. How closely are you living to the bridegroom? And is

  187. the way that you're living offensive to the bridegroom? I

  188. certainly don't believe it is the intention of any bride

  189. in this building this morning to be offensive to their bridegroom. Today,

  190. in our scripture, reading Matthew twenty one and verses number

  191. twelve through seventeen. We find Christ going to church, just

  192. as you and I have done today. And when he

  193. went to church, he went to the temple, which is

  194. supposed to be the house of prayer, and he went

  195. with much anticipation and expectation, as he had done early

  196. on in his earthly ministry. A lot of people do

  197. not understand that Christ attempted to cleanse the temple twice,

  198. the first time being early on in his ministry and

  199. the second time being towards the very end of his ministry.

  200. So these temple cleansings are literally bookends of the ministry

  201. of Jesus Christ. In the beginning of his ministry and

  202. at the end of his ministry. He wanted the parishioners

  203. of such a place to know that God wanted the

  204. services to be conducted the way God had told them

  205. to be conducted, and he wanted the priest and the

  206. parishioners to be holy, and he wanted them to worship

  207. the Lord in spirit and in truth, because there was

  208. no problem at all with people understanding they needed together.

  209. In fact, this temple would have been the epicenter of

  210. most Jewish people, even gentile believers that had converted to Judaism,

  211. those that without hesitation or reluctancy, were glad to embrace

  212. the law of Moses. Gentiles like you and I, people

  213. that were supposed to be the offscouring of the world,

  214. or the tongue of the earth, so to speak, they

  215. had gladly embraced the ceremonial sacrifice. They had gladly embraced

  216. the idea that if they were going to belong to

  217. this religion, that when they made their pilgrimage to the Temple,

  218. they would have to remain in the outer courts. Some

  219. Jews and gentiles alike would have been gathering at this time,

  220. and people would have been excited about being in the

  221. house of God. And there's no doubt the strangers passing

  222. by would have noticed the law of activity in that vicinity.

  223. At times they would have noticed people gathering at the

  224. temple during certain festivities.

  225. Other times they would have noticed people.

  226. Just gravitating towards that particular building and just trying to

  227. get as close as they could to that house of

  228. worship where they felt like the presence of God was

  229. in residency. And then of course the strangers would have

  230. noticed some were going there. As Sister Hill said she

  231. had done with alterior motives in her past. She had

  232. alterior motives, and so Sister Hall, I'm sure there were

  233. sounds that besides conducting religious practices and rituals and services,

  234. they were gathering together to socialize. And nearly twenty something

  235. years of pastoral ministry, I have noticed there is always

  236. that element in any crowd that has gathered together for

  237. religious service. They just want to socialize. But there are

  238. those thatgether, that want to worship the Lord and the

  239. beauty of holiness and worship him in spirit and in truth.

  240. And we know that Jesus Christ did not go to

  241. the temple with ulterior motives. He went to church for

  242. the right reasons. He went to church to pray. He

  243. knew his ministry was about to begin, one of the

  244. first times that he went, and here towards the end

  245. of his ministry, and there's no doubt he feels like praying.

  246. And he went there for.

  247. A cleansing, not that he himself, who was sinless and spotless,

  248. needed a cleansing, because he was God, he is Deity

  249. at this time. He's impeccable, right, He's sinless. But he

  250. knows that the people at the temple and the temple

  251. itself needs a cleansing. And ironically, this time of year

  252. is spring time, and you women here, you know what

  253. it is, the spring clean Already our daughter in last

  254. Sister Rachel has told Sister Howell that she has begun

  255. that process.

  256. And you tell us that.

  257. When your spring cleaning, when it comes to that sort

  258. of cleaning, it is a deep cleaning. So the Lord

  259. Jesus Christ felt like early on in his ministry the

  260. temple needed a deep cleaning, and then later on in

  261. his ministry, after three and a half years, the temple

  262. needs a deep cleansing. He didn't need a cleansing, but

  263. the majestic temple that Herod had refurbished, that Herod had

  264. restored and needed a good cleansing. Brother Samuel Howell, the

  265. Jewish Temple needed more than people would have supposed it did.

  266. I dare say more than ninety five percent of the

  267. people that had gathered there felt like everything was being

  268. done decent hand in order. I doubt anybody had any

  269. complaints at all. For the most part, the tempo had

  270. plenty of offering plates where people could put in her

  271. monetary gifts and those offering plates were full of money.

  272. It didn't lack any furniture.

  273. Harry the Great had sawt to it that they were

  274. rich and increased with goods, and they needed nothing. In fact,

  275. every garment that they needed for religious purposes and practices

  276. would have been there in the house. Everybody would have

  277. been dressed appropriately and accordingly to the schedules of service.

  278. Brother Nathaniel Howell, I doubt very many things were missing.

  279. I'm sure that there was something no out of place

  280. and out of order. When Jesus Christ wrapped that corner

  281. and he looked in there and saw what was going

  282. on there, out he saw those that were of the

  283. same persuasion of the ludocee in church. In the Book

  284. of Revelations, chapter number three and verse number seventeen, John

  285. the Beloved spoke the words of Jesus concerning the Church

  286. of Leddiceum, and he said that they were saying, I

  287. am rich and increase with goods, and have need of nothing.

  288. And I know not, and know us not that thou

  289. art riches and miserable and poor and blind and nked.

  290. The leedousy in church people were like these Jewish worshipers

  291. who frequented to temple. Both groups of people felt they

  292. had everything they needed and everything was perfectly in its place.

  293. In fact, they told people about their self sufficiency. Her

  294. state of affairs was that that we have taken care

  295. of ourself. I don't know about it every person in

  296. this building today, but sister howl and I can.

  297. Tell you that we are needy people.

  298. We are in need of a saving on a daily basis.

  299. Even though He saved his people from their sin, we

  300. need the Lord to help preserve us from this untoward generation.

  301. I'm sure that there were some saints of God who

  302. were devout saints that when they walked into the temple

  303. they blushed because of the prideful proclamations of those that

  304. were saying, Look, our religious leaders, the Sanhedrin, and even

  305. here the Great have made sure that we have a

  306. beautiful place to worship.

  307. Our God in.

  308. Look at the furnishings of this place. May I say

  309. that when a person no longer sees her need of

  310. a savior to sustain him, those same individuals we'll feel

  311. there is no need to pray and to plead to

  312. God for provision and protection multiple times each and every

  313. day and every night, I asked God to supply all

  314. of my needs according to his riches in glory. In fact,

  315. the Jewish people at times would address God as Jehovah,

  316. and then they would tag it with something like Jirah,

  317. which mere Jehovah was their provider. I'm telling you there's

  318. so many names of God that describes him in different

  319. facets and characteristics and attributes that it can be almost confusion.

  320. A mother of Israel in this place asked me a

  321. couple services agirls.

  322. She said, why is it so many.

  323. Christian believers are so big towards posting signs in the

  324. church of that say Jehovah, Jirah, Jehovah, Salona, Jehovah Nisi,

  325. and the list goes on and on and order or

  326. come on now, She said, why do people do that?

  327. There's so many different names of God. And she's right,

  328. I said, sister, don't you worry about having a good

  329. understanding and agrippa on all of that, because when you

  330. say the name, Jesus said, you have said it all,

  331. and her Bible told.

  332. Us to pray him the name of the Lord.

  333. But I want to point out to you that these

  334. people felt like they were self sufficient, and I doubt

  335. they called on the name of the Lord as Jehovah Jirah.

  336. We know the members of the church at Lrd of Seal.

  337. Were not speak in the name Jehoagyrah at all. I mean,

  338. when you make a priple proclamation and you boldly state

  339. I am rich, I am needless, I don't need anything.

  340. You are in a terrible state of mind. Lord, since

  341. the how will pray for me here tonight? I know

  342. that the people or the Church of Lad of Seal

  343. had developed a cornal mindset, just as the Jewish worship

  344. person at the temple where at this time and a

  345. carnal state of mind. Jesus comes in now and he

  346. does not fire true worship person worshiping.

  347. God and Spirit and in the truth.

  348. And they have ulterior motives, and they were participating in

  349. something we call lip service, and they have impure hearts.

  350. And this reminds me of the Church Corinth. And it

  351. could be any other church of today. It could be

  352. in other places. It could be here if we're not careful.

  353. It is a church where the people of God have

  354. assembled for services. And yet this church at Cricta had

  355. communication coming out of their mountain that was corrupt. And

  356. I want to warn somebody in this building this morning,

  357. you be careful with corrupt communication. I woke up praying

  358. in the spirit very early this morning, and I was

  359. thinking about that good disciple name Nathaniel, that Jesus cities

  360. and the Israel latter indeed, and in him is no goal.

  361. And then behind that it was coming to me letting

  362. no corrupt communication proceed.

  363. Out of thy mouth.

  364. And the members of the Church of Crict had got

  365. so carn minded her and so divided in their spirit

  366. that people were talking to one another, either dering before

  367. after the servicesm and some were saying, I am a Paula,

  368. and the others were saying I am of apol listen,

  369. while others are saying I am a Peter. Where some

  370. were saying, as I am that of that apostle paul,

  371. one that was born at of due time, one that

  372. understands the gentiles have a place. And somebody could speak

  373. up and say, well, I prefer I prefer a more

  374. eloquent orator. I am of Apolo. I prefer a teaching style.

  375. While somebody else would.

  376. Say, oh not me.

  377. I was somebody whose coat tell his own fire.

  378. I want an apostle for the Holy Ghost and eye

  379. bowl is say, I am a Peter.

  380. You're listening to me and apostle Paul.

  381. Let them know you should not have partiaality here. You

  382. should not have favorites. And he says, we are of Christ.

  383. That is who we are of Christ is to be

  384. the situal focus of every worshiper assembled in every house

  385. or prayer today. Winning where Christ is that the central

  386. focus for corruption will be found. Back to our golden text,

  387. the scripture reading Matthew, chapter number twenty one, verses number

  388. twelve through seventeen. In a time of prosperity, brother was

  389. taking advantage of brother. In a time of much increase,

  390. merchants were selling are you listening sacrificial animals at exorbitant pricess.

  391. Here is no doubt in my mind whatsoever. The people

  392. that were making their pilgrimage did not expect this at

  393. the door or at the point of entry. Anybody that's traveled,

  394. you know, to make the journey can be quite expensive.

  395. In fact, it can be more than costly. It can

  396. be treacherous. And after they've made their journey to the

  397. House of God, smacking them in the face. He is

  398. these exorbitant pricess for ritual sacrificial ritual animals. Sister, how well,

  399. that is what happens when we come to the house

  400. of God. But Jesse, if I marry him with only

  401. water without bread. These people had come carrying up as

  402. little as they could.

  403. They did not want to carry a wholem. They did

  404. not want to carry a whole animal.

  405. And so they thought when they got there after their

  406. leity journey, they would just buy what they needed. And

  407. these greedy merchants and they took them over there to

  408. the table the money changers, and they exchanged their currency

  409. for that that the temple would allow. There's stuff to

  410. be purchased with, and they would charge attacks on that exchange,

  411. Brother Nathan, you after they walked away from being taken

  412. advantage of for exchanging currency, when they stood at the

  413. boot or the stable or.

  414. The sacrificial animals.

  415. They realized they would pay up to twenty times more

  416. than what the animal was worth on the street up

  417. the road for somebody's family farm. And that is what's

  418. going on in a lot of churches today. They wait

  419. until they get her church. And you can tell God

  420. knew he took a shortcutter.

  421. All week long.

  422. God knew they were coming with a cane sacrificer instead

  423. of an able sacrificer. And God said, you know, water,

  424. you're gonna pay more for it. You're gonna work harder

  425. for it. And I wanna tell every person her drags

  426. are had the last minute, it would make sense that

  427. you gotta worship had a greater capacity.

  428. It would make sense that you gotta pray longer, had.

  429. To alter because you feel like you hear him so much.

  430. That's the way you feel when you're cheating there in

  431. the weaker. I said, that's exactly how you feeling when

  432. you're cheating there in the leaka. And because of the

  433. unwillingness to pay for it, to carry it here in

  434. the weak, the Lord that when they got there, they

  435. had to pay.

  436. More for it.

  437. I'm here to tell you this morning, are you willing

  438. to pay for it? Are you willing to prepare or not?

  439. If you're not, you will pay. The supposed sacrificial lamb

  440. was set apart for a sacrificial altar, but Brother Jesse,

  441. they paid so high they could not afford it.

  442. They paid so much they could not afford it. But

  443. you know what.

  444. They couldn't afford to leave there either without offering sacrifice,

  445. because them being forgiven dependent on it. They were depending

  446. on that sacrifice. That take a go away being redeemed,

  447. that take a gold way being forgiven. And sister, how

  448. I suspect some gave their last pennies, and some gave

  449. the last of their coinage, and some will we have

  450. what we need to get home? That'll preach right there.

  451. Will you have what's your need come monday? Will you

  452. have what's your need come tuesday? Are you going to

  453. be right here in the house of God begging somebody

  454. else to give you her sacrificial creature? Begging off somebody

  455. else to give you? Hey, come on, now, there's some

  456. people around here. They're like greedy merchants. You can tell

  457. they have taken everything God has given them. They will

  458. take everything that God will give them, and they will

  459. take your blessing if you will allow them to. One

  460. of them being sister room, and she said it timing again.

  461. If you don't want your blessing, I'll take it. If

  462. you don't want to yield to him and so render

  463. to him, I'll take your blessing. And there were greedy

  464. merchants that said, if you don't want to carry it, oh,

  465. come on. His yokis easy and his burden is light.

  466. This house as a host of people as saying I'm rich,

  467. there's a host of people saying I don't need anything.

  468. There's a host of people over there just saying, you

  469. know what, brother ness Haanuel, I've.

  470. Got the world by the terror, I've got it all

  471. under control.

  472. And then you've got these genti believers that have come

  473. from distant pagan lands and they're empty in their pockets,

  474. and they're probably saying, you know what, if this is

  475. what it's about, I don't wrote any part of it.

  476. And as I was praying this morning, I thought about

  477. how many new converts turned on.

  478. Their heels and said, I don't rode any part of them.

  479. Merchants being greeting, have them merchants taking advantage of her people.

  480. I've been their churches like that.

  481. If your last name was not a certain last name,

  482. if you didn't have a certain pedigree or a road cap,

  483. you just turned on your heels and knew need and

  484. offered me to be in that building. I don't believe

  485. there ever be a time when somebody will pull up

  486. in our parking lot with a different name than wrote

  487. Caper or Howl, where they'll feel like they need to leave.

  488. I don't care what your rals name is. I don't

  489. care who favorite preacher he is. I don't care what

  490. you got. Come with our money, Come with our prier,

  491. so hard experience for blessing of God.

  492. Oh Come.

  493. My prayer is that nobody would be turned away.

  494. Since the root.

  495. And as I prayed this morning, and as the Holy

  496. Ghost fell upon me, it seemed as though I could

  497. see gentile believers that really did want to become part

  498. of the family God turn and walk away, and you

  499. know where, because they did have enough to pay for

  500. what had been jacked up.

  501. That price had been jacked up. Brother.

  502. I'm telling you what, I've never seen Brother Justin Rouap

  503. try to serve somebody a jacked up gospel where he

  504. has just inflated the price so how that nobody could

  505. get at Brother Caleb. I've never heard Brother Caleb Rocat

  506. preach a jacked up gospel. Oh my God, I've never

  507. heard Brother Nathaniel Howell preached a.

  508. Jacked up gospel.

  509. Something that's out of reach, something that nobody can get

  510. a hold of. I mean, you got people in the

  511. building so greedy. They're walking around saying, look what Herod

  512. the Great built us. Look at the garments of the priest,

  513. look at the robes of the choir, look at the

  514. fire burning, look at the curtains. Have you seen anything

  515. greater at the temple of Herod the Great? And you've

  516. got them pour outsiders that's wanting.

  517. To get in. And they realize their church is corrupt.

  518. I'm on my message now.

  519. They realize what they're trying to get into is no different.

  520. And the world they're trying to get out of. And

  521. they say, what's so use and trying to go to church?

  522. And it cost him me so much and me paying

  523. the prist so much. I want this to be a

  524. church where people say, you know what, he ain't like

  525. it was out there in the world. It ain't like

  526. it was in their church.

  527. Of what the world? What? These people they don't have

  528. a form.

  529. These people, they don't deny the power of God. They

  530. are the bride of Christ who are in love with Jesus.

  531. He is the situal focus of their services. Amen, So

  532. now you understand a little better Jesus' frustration and anger

  533. why he did what he did, Brother Nathaniel. Some of

  534. these individuals forgot who those offerings were for.

  535. My praise is it's not for you. I love you.

  536. I passed a beautiful church family. I'm telling you what

  537. the cream of the crops as to howell. You and

  538. I both know what. We say it every day. I

  539. look at her and I say, boy, it is good

  540. to be these people.

  541. Shepherd.

  542. We have a stack of gift cards this thick, and

  543. it doesn't matter if y'all give us gift cards or not.

  544. I'm telling you what we love you. You're good to

  545. us by the way you worship. You're good to us

  546. by the way you get in. You're good to us

  547. by the way you respect us. You're good to us.

  548. And I want you to know I ain't been a

  549. sheep stealing, a thief. I haven't tried to pull for

  550. any of you to come here. We haven't paid for

  551. any of you to come here. Brother Dylan Wallace, you're

  552. the latest to come. And you and Sister Mollie could

  553. tell us Pastor didn't pay our fuel bill, Pastor didn't

  554. rent our U haul. Brother Sam and sister Denise, y'all

  555. were before them a few months back. Pastor didn't give

  556. me an offering to bring me here. Pastor didn't pay

  557. my U haul bill. Pastor didn't drive my U haul.

  558. But they're coming. And you know what, when they come,

  559. since the Howl, they fit in when they come, since

  560. the root, and they fit in when they come.

  561. They're happy with the offerings that are being offered up

  562. to God.

  563. It's because we know it ain't Jeremy Howell's offering. We

  564. know it ain't Charity Howl's offering. We know it ain't

  565. Nathaniel Howell's offered. We know who the offering belongs to.

  566. And I want you to know here tonight. I'm not

  567. asking you to offer up praise the leadership best on

  568. I'm not asking you to offer up praise.

  569. To our musicians on these instruments.

  570. But I am asking you to offer up thanks of

  571. praise to Almighty God. It is true the greedy merchants

  572. had forgot humor. The offerings belong to. They were the lords.

  573. I feel like saying it again, they.

  574. Were the lords.

  575. God not only owns the cattle on a thousand, he

  576. owes every sacrificial lamb as well. He owns every tonal

  577. derive as well. For earth is the Lord, and the

  578. food is there of right, read everything up but half

  579. birth phrase the Lord.

  580. That's what Jesus expected to find in the temple.

  581. That's the church being the church, Hey, God being the

  582. set your focus on all the offerat Oh.

  583. For God, Amen, Amen, whoo oh, I feel it. You

  584. go ahead. You want to praise him, you go ahead.

  585. While the church at krints trying to figure out who's

  586. the best preacher, while they're trying to figure out who's

  587. the most satisfying speaker, while they're trying to figure out

  588. who's got the best idea an interpretation of scripture, Paul saying,

  589. it's all about Jesus. Let's give him some honor. That's

  590. all about Jesus. Let's give him some praise. And Peter

  591. will say that's right, Paul, that's wrong.

  592. As we get another it. That's all that matters is

  593. how we bring growing to God. And you know what,

  594. brother PAULA is what's say, praach, preacher, preach, preacher.

  595. It's all about him.

  596. Here's all about Jesus. Give him some honor. That's what

  597. Jesus was looking for. Had the beginning of us ministry,

  598. had the end of us ministry. He was looking for

  599. perfect praise. In John chapter number two, verses number thirteen,

  600. three seventeen, we read of Jesus making a whip of cords,

  601. and with such an instrument of correction, he chastised and

  602. cleared the temple, an instrument for chastisement, an instrument for chastisement,

  603. probably leather.

  604. And it's stung. It's stung every lamb. Oh, come on now.

  605. He overturned the tables of the money changers, those that

  606. were charging too much to exchange currency, and he drove

  607. out them. Come on, overturned the tables in the chairs,

  608. brother Nathaniel. He got sick of the exorbitant prices, about

  609. as sick of some of you have got over the

  610. gas prices of late. Somebody got to clean up to corruption,

  611. I said, somebody's got to clear out some things and

  612. clean up the corruption. I'm preaching a Missus the Holy

  613. Ghost titled when Jesus cleanses the Temple. You see that

  614. marshmeller right there. I was thinking it would do more

  615. than that. That marshmeller right there has contaminated the House

  616. of God, Brother Philip, go around and contaminate our always

  617. contaminate our hallways, contaminate our temple, those marshmallows who represent leaven.

  618. Jesus said, know, ye, not that that loven, just a

  619. little bit of nature relving the entire love. He wasn't

  620. talking about Grandma put some loving in the biscuits. He

  621. went talking about a priest to accidentally give some loving

  622. in the unloving bread. He was talking about the religion

  623. of the doctrine how describes him and the Pharisees. He

  624. was letting it be known they ain't cleansing the temple.

  625. In the book of Lebticus, whose guys were supposed to

  626. cleanse the house he was supposed to cleanse it of

  627. the plague?

  628. Who was supposed to cleanse it? For the lef say,

  629. who are supposed to cleanse it?

  630. And that's what Jesus was letting them priests know when

  631. he went that day at the beginning of his minister

  632. and he looked around and he said, you guys ain't

  633. doing your job.

  634. He's no.

  635. In the book of Leviticus, you can clute the scripture.

  636. You know what it says, you're supposed to be cleaning

  637. this mess up. I said, we clean right mess up?

  638. And and with a scourge of correction.

  639. At the end of his ministry, he's about to be

  640. sacrificed as high priest.

  641. And he walks in again and he busts up the party.

  642. Oh no, here's Thomas staring again, standing at the corner

  643. of eighty and Joe Boulevard. Oh no, it's Jeremy how

  644. again standing out there at such and such church. Who

  645. does he think he he's ficing to go in there

  646. and preach. It's time we clean this house up. You know,

  647. that's why a lot of people don't like Jesus knocking

  648. at the door. He said, behold, I stand at the

  649. door and knock. You know what he said, if any

  650. man ill let me in, I'll come in. Let him say,

  651. I'll sup with you, man, I'll sit in there with you.

  652. Or what we found out here. He will not sit

  653. in the field. He will not sit in the corruption.

  654. He will not sit in the contamination. This tells me

  655. right here that Martha had a clean kitchen, Martha had

  656. a clean house. Oh come on now, and I'm telling you, God,

  657. who's gonna expect a clean church? Who's gonna expect her

  658. a clean tamlet, A consecrated man, a deponing woman a

  659. clean church house.

  660. In that church house, they won't be picking their chicken

  661. off the bone. Amen.

  662. So we see Jesus making a whip of cords and

  663. he drove it out. He cleaned up the corruption. The

  664. second time, which took place near the end of his ministry,

  665. he's again saying, boys, clean this mess up, Clean this

  666. mess up. And you know what in the book of Leviticus,

  667. when they couldn't get it the Early Purge, what happened,

  668. Brother would destruction.

  669. They tore it down. They tore it down.

  670. Them priests weren't gonna allow it because God wouldn't allow it.

  671. And says to how they raised it to the ground.

  672. And that's what Jesus was doing. You've never heard a preacher,

  673. miss minister say this. I've never heard it. I'm pretty something.

  674. Years on he was letting them know, this has been

  675. your last warning to clean up the mess because he

  676. is the high priest. He is the high priest and

  677. says to how he knew what them levitical priests I

  678. had been told to do. Are y'all listening to them?

  679. Them priests will leave how we're told to do? And

  680. Brother Aaron Wood just said it they'd tear it down destruction,

  681. and Jesus said, you destroy this temple, you destroy this temple.

  682. He literally said, destructions coming, and you're gonna think that

  683. you're destroying me. But I want you to know this

  684. temple is going to be destroyed, and one stone shall

  685. be left upon another. In a d seventy Titus rolled

  686. in and he did not leave one stone upon another.

  687. This is the prophecy. I hold on too.

  688. I don't believe the wailing wall over there is part

  689. of the temple. I don't know why they're praying to

  690. that wall. The Bibles either writer or it's not. Jesus

  691. said there shall not be one stone left upon another.

  692. Titus was feeling inspired to destroy because when Jesus said

  693. cleaning up, they would not clean it up.

  694. And that's what's happening in the churches.

  695. Unfortunately, revival came and the Holy Girls say clean it up.

  696. Revival came the families and the Holy girl set it

  697. cleaned up, and everybody wondered why the destruction, Well, it's

  698. not because Jesus didn't trial to clean up the temple.

  699. It's not that Jesus didn't trial to clean up those hearts.

  700. Clean it up.

  701. Well, he cleared the corruption the second time. He tried

  702. his best, just like these brothers have been doing around

  703. here where they're preaching and their teaching.

  704. I love what brother Roquat taught on this morning. Are

  705. you a fan?

  706. Are you a follower? There were plenty of fans in there.

  707. There were plenty of fans in there and only a

  708. few followers. The fans stayed while the real followers went out.

  709. But this is what I love.

  710. After Jesus began cleansing, after the cleansing had taken place,

  711. the blind the lame knew. Now we're having church the

  712. way we should be having church. Now, the pastors not

  713. avoiding certain scriptures. Now we're sanctifying ourselves and cleansing ourselves

  714. from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. Now the

  715. word sanctification is not a cuss word. Now we're promoting

  716. holiness and the beauty of us. We're living. And brothers

  717. there at Jesus done what a lot of them preachers

  718. would not do, and revival ensued. I want to tell

  719. our young preachers shouldn't be And brothers stare at some

  720. of these older preachers dying. Go old, y'all, don't forget this.

  721. Revival comes on the heels of sanctification. Revival comes on

  722. the heels of cleansing. Revival comes on the healing up

  723. for the heels of purification.

  724. That's why I wish.

  725. Somebody go through this church house looking high and lord

  726. like them priests were to do, looking for the plague,

  727. looking for some contamination looking.

  728. I'm I telling you I'm looking right. There had a

  729. whole batch of little marshmallows a need to be cleaned up.

  730. After that cleansing, Jesus began healing people. After that cleansing,

  731. Jesus began healing. So when they go to tell your

  732. brother Philip years from now, Dad's death and gone, just

  733. remember discermon. Oh no healing and holy ghost outbreak came

  734. after the cleansing and since the how for those that

  735. were rich, they said, I'm rich, I'm increased with goods.

  736. That's offensive for somebody to stand in church and stand

  737. up and say, I'd like to testify.

  738. I'm rich.

  739. I don't need a thing. You don't need Jehovah, iiver,

  740. you don't need Jesus. I'm a needy person. And when

  741. them little kids realize what Jesus had done, after the cleansing,

  742. healing's taking place, and the little children realized, now we're

  743. having revival. Then the Bible said, out of the mouths

  744. of babes and sucklings, this is the instance thou hast perfected.

  745. Praise the little boys and the little girls are said,

  746. hos Annah to God in the heists Annah.

  747. Oh, come on now, hit bo. Count right there in

  748. the courtyard on the temple. Who's hand it to God

  749. in the highest Hey, man, let's stand right here praise

  750. the Lord.

  751. I don't know if you're at the beginning of your

  752. Christian experience or at the end. There's always an opportunity

  753. for cleansing, there's always an opportunity for a healing. Praise

  754. the Lord. Amen, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. That ought to be

  755. the number one word in your vocabulary when you say

  756. the name Jesus. You said it all, Brother Jeremiah, this

  757. message today. I started to name every name of God,

  758. and I thought half dis sermons is going to be

  759. the names of God. If I name every name of God, yeah,

  760. waih hellohum. I just start going down to all of

  761. that stuff. And I said, you know what, like I

  762. told that sister a couple of weeks ago. When we

  763. say Jesus, we said it all. You do say Jehovah, Jirah.

  764. When you say Jesus, you do say Jehovah, my peace, Jehovah.

  765. Stall On, when you say Jesus, Brother Nathan On, twenty

  766. years from now, there will be some nut try to

  767. get you to get up and post on every one

  768. in the church all the names of God, and somebody

  769. that's ignorant. They're going to walk in and say, man,

  770. these people must be polytheistic. They got about fifty gods here.

  771. There's no other name under heaven wherein we might be saved.

  772. The name of the Lord, not the names. The name

  773. of the Lord is a strong tire. These Jews may

  774. have said Jehovah, but I say Jesus. Acts two thirty

  775. eight is not intended to be the motto or the

  776. anthem of the one that's Pentecostals. It wasn't intended to

  777. be the theme scripture of their movement. Peter was letting

  778. everybody know that stood on the hillside just before baptism.

  779. Forget about all the pagan deities, forget about polytheism. I

  780. just want you to know that man had just cleansed

  781. the temple, the one that preached the gospel to the poor,

  782. the one that healed the lame and the blind, the

  783. halt and the withered. Jesus, you know, the one John

  784. looked for and said he refused to look for another.

  785. He found him.

  786. Peter was saying, it's in him we baptize. And that's

  787. why I know the Gospels it says in the name

  788. of the Father, the Son, and the holy ghosts. Because

  789. when it comes to the of the two thirds of

  790. the Godhead, all you got do say Jesus. Your prayers

  791. hit that ceiling until you say Jesus, and suddenly that

  792. prayer bursts through the universe like rocket fueled and power

  793. punches a hole through the sky. And in your name

  794. we pray Jesus at Bethel. It doesn't matter who the

  795. preacher is, as long as he's preaching Jesus and him

  796. Chrus the fight. I'd love to be in heaven right

  797. now with Peter and a Paulus and Paul and them

  798. correcting church members who sometimes dipped and delved into carnality.

  799. I'd love to walk by mall and say, there's your

  800. three boys. But wasn't it all about him?

  801. Anyway?

  802. There's Paul, there's a Paulus, and there's Peter, but there's Jesus.

  803. People are getting in trouble today in their farm, following

  804. every every doctrine blown with every wind of doctrine, and

  805. they're evolving into something that's different than what I would

  806. expect the church to be. And that's what Hereared the

  807. Great had done since to how he created a circumstance

  808. for these Jews that deserved nothing but destruction.

  809. And he knew that.

  810. He knew in their self sufficiency, they would no longer

  811. have a God dependency. He knew they wouldn't be in

  812. there crying out to Jehovah. He knew as long as

  813. they were well taken care of and had everything they need,

  814. there wouldn't be anybody singing there's no God like Jehovah.

  815. I've heard it said before, I'd given million dollars to

  816. witness Jesus doing that or Jesus doing this. I'd love

  817. to see him pray for a blind man and then

  818. be able to see. I'll see that one day, I'll

  819. see the blind receive their sight. Brothers, there I will

  820. be an eyewitness to that I have seen in this lifetime,

  821. the dead race to his glory is a dead raiser

  822. amen the restore of life. But there's something that'll be

  823. impossible for me to see, and that's him, brother Caleb,

  824. taking a leather skirt and wearing out the church. If

  825. I could empty mine in your bank accounts to get

  826. him to come one more time and go to make

  827. a church and wear it out, I would gladly do it.

  828. But you know what, if he wanted to do it,

  829. he'd do it already without being paid to do it.

  830. But I would like to be an eyewitness of him

  831. cleansing the temple. In fact, he keeps heaven so clean

  832. he won't let any uncleanness be there. Holiness is cleanliness,

  833. it is. The walls are clean, the floors clean. They say,

  834. God looks at the outside and inside. That's exactly right.

  835. Let's bow our heads right here, if you would please.

  836. Is there anybody in this building today? You know there's

  837. some work for him to do in your life. He'll

  838. cleanse it. Is there a place in your heart where
