  1. God, you think for the wonderful service we've had thus far,

  2. I sure am.

  3. I thank God for the presence of the Lord. Amen.

  4. I thank God for always been doing it, Beth thew Amen.

  5. The season of revival that seems to be perpetually perpetual

  6. of late Amen. How God has been working and moving

  7. and helping us, I mean, all the wonderful things we

  8. have seen Him do.

  9. Amen. We missed our pastor terribly. Amen.

  10. We pray that God Amen would go with him Amen,

  11. and God would meet with Sister Neely have been such

  12. a precious saying of God.

  13. Amen. She always Amen. She has to be precious to me.

  14. She always brought me reces and recie pieces Amen.

  15. So how could I not love her? Amen.

  16. Y'all know my love for reces Amen. And she definitely

  17. stoked to that fire.

  18. Amen.

  19. So Amen, I love Sister Neely. A been more than

  20. I can of putting the words this morning.

  21. Amen. We all feel the burden and the strain, no doubt. Amen.

  22. I've been through a few trials here in my time

  23. at Bethel, some bigger than others.

  24. Amen.

  25. But there's one thing I know of of the Bethel

  26. hole in his church family.

  27. When you go through something. They get in there and

  28. go through it with you. Amen.

  29. I've never seen a church amen, that dances with those

  30. that dance the way Bethel does.

  31. Nor have I seen a church.

  32. That weeps with those that weep and then the way

  33. Bethel does. And men truly Emen, God has knit us together,

  34. and I'm so thankful for that.

  35. Amen. So great to see all of you out this morning. Amen.

  36. Familiar faces Emen.

  37. Some of you may not know where, Amen, but that's

  38. Aunt Sandy back there.

  39. Amen. So good to see them. Amen. We love them. Amen.

  40. The Howl family loves them. Amen. So good to see

  41. them this morning.

  42. Second Kings, this morning, if you would, I'm gonna try

  43. to get this off of my amen heart the way

  44. the Lord and Man would have.

  45. Me deliver it.

  46. And I'll be honest with you, Amen, I do need

  47. help from Heaven today. He been my kidness Stone decided

  48. to start moving about eight o'clock this morning, so I

  49. think it's just the devil.

  50. Amen.

  51. So we're gonna, amen, try our best with the Lord's

  52. help to still deliver our burden.

  53. Amen.

  54. When I do ask you, amen, please, a man, would

  55. you pray for me? A man as we attempt to

  56. do what God has asked of us.

  57. Amen.

  58. Second King's chapter number five. Let's look at verse number nineteen,

  59. and men, when you have it, Amen, praise God. Second

  60. King's chapter number five and verse number nineteen, very familiar

  61. reading this morning. And he said, unto him, go in peace.

  62. And so he departed from him a little way. But Gahzi,

  63. the servant of Elisha, the man of God, said, behold,

  64. my master hath spared name, and this is in not

  65. receiving at his.

  66. Hands that which has brought.

  67. But as the Lord liveth I will run after him

  68. and take somewhat of him.

  69. Sogahesi followed after name.

  70. And and when Naman saw him running after him, he lighted

  71. down from his chariot to meet him and said, is

  72. all well?

  73. And he said all as well.

  74. My master has sent me saying, behold, even now there

  75. be come to me from Mounty form two young men

  76. of the sons of the Prophets.

  77. Give them.

  78. I pray thee a talent of silver and two changes

  79. of garments. Amen, if you would stretch your hands toward heaven, Amen,

  80. ask God to help us this morning. Lord, thank you

  81. for all that you've done for each one that's here. God,

  82. thank you for your word.

  83. God.

  84. Thank you for the presence of God, the spirit of

  85. God that is our liberty.

  86. God.

  87. We thank you for each one that is here to

  88. this morning, and we'll be here tonight.

  89. God. We ask you, Lord, let your will be done.

  90. God, Let your will prosper in this service God, in

  91. this message.

  92. Lord, would you, annoying God, each and.

  93. Every one of our ears to hear the words of

  94. God said to God about my mouth, and let me

  95. say nothing more and nothing less than you would have me.

  96. Speak to your people and help us God in these altars. Lord,

  97. help me say nothing more and nothing less than you

  98. would have me. God, let us depart this place joyfully

  99. and not sorrowfully in Jesus' name. And the church said,

  100. Amen and Amen, I'm thankful for this opportunity.

  101. Amen.

  102. Thank you for your giving. Oh how I love and

  103. adore my pastor. Amen, and appreciate his labor of love.

  104. Amen.

  105. Praise God and all that He has poured into us

  106. of lady as Amen being Amen. Praise God wisdom from

  107. on high.

  108. Amen.

  109. Our text here is founding in a very familiar part

  110. of the Bible.

  111. Amen.

  112. Is growing up and even still today I love getting around.

  113. First Samuel and Second Samuel and First Kings and Second Kings.

  114. I love to get there and started reading about the

  115. account of great men of God.

  116. Amen.

  117. Men of God that impacted Amen, people, Amen, men of

  118. God that impacted tribes, men of God that impacted nations,

  119. and men of God that impacted when you look at

  120. the grand scope of it.

  121. The entire world, the entire human race.

  122. Amen, after them that preceded them, and still being impacted

  123. by such men as we read about.

  124. Amen.

  125. Here in this text, Amen, the Bible talks to us

  126. a little bit about these people, and we're aware of them.

  127. Amen.

  128. And Second Kings is a book that kind of begins

  129. to detail some of that which happened to the nation

  130. of Israel. I mean Elijah. There was a special man.

  131. He was a person that was assistant. If you would

  132. to Elijah, the prophet of fire, a man that man

  133. that would a man call down fire from heaven and Amen,

  134. God would listen and God would answer a man.

  135. It was Elishah.

  136. The Bible said that one that poured water on the

  137. hands of Elijah.

  138. Amen.

  139. He later received the double portion and a blessing that

  140. would befall the first born.

  141. Sona a man.

  142. No doubt Elijah had many spiritual children. We know of

  143. the schools of the prophets, and when Elijah asked him

  144. for a double portion them, he was asking him, treat me, Amen,

  145. like your first born son.

  146. Amen.

  147. Jacob would bless his children, and there would be one

  148. get a double portion.

  149. Amen.

  150. And so it was if you read, Amen, back there

  151. with the four fathers a man, one child would be blessed.

  152. And ASA's heart was Amen to receive. Amen, praise God

  153. this birthright, if you would, amen. And so he would

  154. cry under him Amen. And Elijah said, it's a hard thing. Amen,

  155. I can necessarily grant it to Amen. But if God

  156. so wields it and you see these things happen, Amen,

  157. that will be a sign under you that you have

  158. received the double portion. And sometimes that's how it's best

  159. to do. We've got to leave it in God's hands.

  160. Amen.

  161. Sometimes we've gotta let God decide here. But the truth was,

  162. Elisha walked away with a very a very special blessing

  163. Amen in the mantle of Elijah passed down to Elisha. Now,

  164. as you read Second Kings, the tragedy I find oftentimes

  165. that really gets a hold of me is the fact

  166. that there was nobody to follow the man of God Elisha.

  167. There was nobody to take up his mantua. And in

  168. this generation and this day, it seemed the mantle fell

  169. to the ground because this young man, most likely Gahaziah,

  170. who had the opportunity to receive the blessings of God

  171. and handled it carelessly and he let it fall by

  172. the wayside.

  173. The name Gahzi means a valley of sight. Amen.

  174. There's a lot of people we see him get in trouble,

  175. Brother Jesse, because they get too busy looking at this

  176. and looking at that. And it seems gaheyes ees characteristic

  177. wise to not really stop and realize what he had

  178. in the moment. Now, I know where we've been as

  179. a church family. Amen, and I I hope Amen, the

  180. Lord will speak to all of us. But I'm preaching

  181. them myself and to the saints as much as the

  182. sinners this morning. Amen, For negligenza will cost you boding opportunities.

  183. Amen.

  184. Foolishness will cause you to lose her Amen.

  185. That which God has praying to give you. It will cost.

  186. You your inheritance, It will cost you your blessing. It

  187. will cost you the food Amen on the tree, your

  188. experience bearing places and drive places when you quit, Amen,

  189. realizing just how good you have it and how blessed

  190. you have been. I mean, it happens to the sinner.

  191. It also can happen to the saint. And I don't believe, Amen,

  192. it's a corrective message this morning for the saint as

  193. much as an encouraging message. Remem because Gahayesi, what's gifted

  194. a wonderful chance to experience, even the matter that it

  195. fell from Elijah, he was a gifted that opportunity to

  196. be the next one in lie the predecessor. If you would,

  197. I remember that one that would inherit her Remember the looker, Amen,

  198. from the eyes of the people when they thought of

  199. a man of God. He had already been a stablisher.

  200. Elijah is a man of God. He need already been

  201. a stablished Elisha is a man of God. So what

  202. was Gahayesi going to inherit the labor of love, for dedication,

  203. for blood sweating tears. I remember the persistence of those

  204. men that had went before him.

  205. Remember there are those a.

  206. Trifle I mean, with such an inheritance is there are

  207. those that have been given macha women, but they don't

  208. seem to handle him. That that soul its valuable, and

  209. they let it s through their finger women.

  210. All the while those theomen like Gehazi, they've been to

  211. lose out.

  212. Oh God, now I believe there was no doubt something

  213. in the heart of this young man, Gehzi, something inside

  214. of him. Now you gotta consider the environment to accurately

  215. assess the situation. You see, this young man would have

  216. walked shoulder to shoulder with Elisha.

  217. He wasn't pin pals, he wasn't email pals.

  218. He didn't call him every now and then and talk

  219. to him about a problem.

  220. Amen.

  221. He was a close confidant to the man Elisha.

  222. Amen.

  223. And here amen, God begins, Amen to show us in

  224. the Word of God, the tragic end of someone with

  225. so much potential and such a wonderful opportunity.

  226. Amen.

  227. Him. This is each and every one of us, They

  228. men that have been given an opportunity to come to

  229. the House of God and experience the goodness of God.

  230. We've all been brant here. They meant something special. Oh God, Well,

  231. look at verse number twenty with me. But Gahazi, the

  232. servant of Elisha, the Man of God, said, behold, my

  233. master has spare naming.

  234. And then if you skip down the verse twenty one,

  235. the Bible.

  236. Said, so Gahayesi followed after naming Sogahyzei followed after naming

  237. a remember something that is startling.

  238. Amen. In the latter part of verse number twenty.

  239. The Bible said, he would take something of him.

  240. Amen.

  241. There's a lot of church people that seem to think

  242. it is okay to take something of the world. And

  243. I know you've heard some of this before, and I

  244. know you aman a little bit tired, but Amen, please

  245. bear with me. We try to get where we're going here.

  246. Amember the exterior struggles theymen come to the surface.

  247. Amen. In our text, in a wash of inca.

  248. Amen, the exterior struggles of this man, gahyes E become

  249. most visible.

  250. Amen.

  251. Those on the outside theymen. Because God makes it plain

  252. and clear. And then there's a hearty shoe a man

  253. in the prophet to be God makes it prain and clear.

  254. There's a hearty shoe in the survey of Elisha, in

  255. the church member of Elisha. You see, this man would

  256. have been they mean the Elcis church member.

  257. He would have ate lunch.

  258. With him, he would have ate breakfast with him. He

  259. would have ate supper with him. It would have been

  260. a very close knit bond. The haze I would have

  261. been there with the picture of water. Every time his

  262. hands got dirty, every time he made a sacrifice, every

  263. time he offered up a man an offering to God.

  264. He would have been the hayes Ice standing there. Ain't

  265. observing but your proximity to the Man of God. The

  266. man will not save you. We will not get you

  267. to heaven. We will not cause you. They meant to

  268. have passage through the pearly gates the men, how close

  269. you are, and even your friendship, the men will never

  270. preserve you.

  271. Wo men, when you're harboring.

  272. Passions such as the Hazei, theomen dead. The hayse I

  273. held all to them and his inner passions, and he

  274. protected them. The man he held under them. His conversations

  275. at large would have been weird of Elisha.

  276. He would have the.

  277. Men been getting mentored and molded by this man. This

  278. would have been the man that said, you shouldn't have

  279. done that, or you ship done it this way.

  280. Women.

  281. All the man of God that had his hands all Elisha,

  282. and all the man of God that had his hands

  283. on the HAZEI, but one benefited and another threw it

  284. all away. Wouldn't be came a man of God, and

  285. another word sacrificed to all for selfish whims, a man

  286. of selfish desires. He mean, I find it to be

  287. a warning Amen to the best or in his church.

  288. For we live in a radical time, a time when

  289. and men, the radical seemed to wages war on mortality,

  290. and they seem to attack the norms established in the

  291. word of God. They men praise God. But in the darkness,

  292. the Bible said, the light would shine brighter. It wouldn't

  293. be able to overcome the light. That which is given

  294. to the dark day would be superior to that which

  295. surrounds it. Amen, that which is given the men in

  296. the dark time, that light would not be able.

  297. They man to become prehended.

  298. The men, and I wonder how great the light, and

  299. how great the minister, and how great the man of God.

  300. To Southwest Florida, they men, when God Siennah us a

  301. man of God. We're a passion for the precepts of

  302. God's word.

  303. Amen.

  304. In all the light is shined into my path. Women,

  305. that shown me clearly the way I should walk. In

  306. all the way the light Shona. Theymen to each and

  307. every one of us. They men, But it was our

  308. choice to walk in the path. It is our choicer

  309. to continue their inner behave th chos a different road.

  310. Why Elisha chose they meant a road of holiness and

  311. prospered and became well known and well because he was

  312. sincere and his heart was in it.

  313. I mean, there was a young man standing by Elisha.

  314. There was a young man there. Man. He was there

  315. in body, he was there seemingly in mind.

  316. Oh, but the first opportunity we find here where there

  317. is something to be gained outside the wishes of God

  318. and God's plan to hate woman chooses his own path.

  319. Who says I got her? I've got to get after him.

  320. He's got something I need and I will have something

  321. of him. What does this world have that you would

  322. need to take of them?

  323. What does this world offer her that man?

  324. They would afford you anything great than the blessings of

  325. God we experience. Take my yoke upon you and learn

  326. of me. Gehazi never put the yoka on, and he

  327. never learned.

  328. He never learned.

  329. I mean, we like gaheyzi, and this is gonna maybe

  330. a little slower this morning, we like Gahyze I, can

  331. squander the gift of God. The Bible spoke of a

  332. time when there was no open vision. The Bible spoke

  333. of the adverse effects on the people. When there is

  334. no vision, they would begin to perish. But sadly, there

  335. are those that dwell in the vision. I mean those

  336. dwell and Amen in close proximity. Two am in the

  337. will of God and the plan of God. But they

  338. seemingly never obtain the will of God.

  339. They never really get it.

  340. Brother Jesse said, they never actually get that heart change. Amen,

  341. they never really get altered by the power of God.

  342. You see, you can come sit in the church pew

  343. all you want, Amen.

  344. You can listen to a preacher, preacher all you walt, Amen.

  345. I can tell you this, Amen.

  346. The truth is you could listen to preaching in hell

  347. and it wouldn't save you. And there's a lot of

  348. them listen to it, then the preaching on the church pews,

  349. and thanks that a man is good enough to save them.

  350. But the truth was Gajese I realize one day at

  351. the end of this chapter, theym in my close proximity

  352. through the of God wasn't enough to save me. They've

  353. been min women walk with a man of God wasn't

  354. enough to get me what I needed. And I'm telling

  355. you this morning, man, if you don't get a hold

  356. of the gift of God that is eternal life through

  357. Christ Jesus may man, you can amen, sit here in

  358. the women the hooton manita we man we have around

  359. here they been where Amen. Eighty percent of the church's

  360. shouting and speaking in tongues.

  361. But it won't do you a bit of good. Women.

  362. You could sit here in the prayer meetings, in the

  363. altar calls.

  364. Amen.

  365. Oh gahayze eye wo man, you could squadder golden opportunities

  366. and away he said, Was he not with us?

  367. Did he not walk up and down our eyes? Oh?

  368. Yes he did?

  369. But gahayes eye, he didn't catch you and it didn't

  370. affect you like you needed a two Oh friend, don't

  371. be look haze I they've been.

  372. Let God put his hands or you.

  373. Let him put his hands on you. If you're reading

  374. Luke words him men from our Savior Chieftain number twelve,

  375. it's a cautionary writing. It's a cautionary writing to each

  376. and every one of you. I've been raised on a church.

  377. Few the men are in church for any period of time,

  378. And that served verse forty seven, And that servants we

  379. knew his Lord's will, and prepared not himself. Neither did

  380. a word to his will shall be beaten with many stripes.

  381. But he knew. But he that knew not and did

  382. not commit things worthy of stripes shall be beaten with

  383. few stripes. They men, listen to this, for unto whomsoever

  384. much is given of him, shall be much required. And

  385. to whom men have committed much of him, they will

  386. ask more. I mean, I am come to send fire

  387. on the earth, And what will I if it be

  388. a man already kindled? We've been given a wonderful opportunity. Amen, Bethel. Amen,

  389. often says all of us. Often say, I mean this

  390. is the best church this side of heaven.

  391. Amen. So uh Amen, you may be here.

  392. They been praised God and listening to me, and think

  393. I they've been trying to beat you over the head.

  394. Men know why treasure what I have, Amen, And I

  395. and want to stir myself Amen, to realize to him,

  396. to him that much has been.

  397. Given, much shall be required.

  398. I mean we find here the truth Jesus says Aman

  399. that if you've been given much, he will expect much

  400. from you. The gift is immeasurable, the opportunity is equal.

  401. The requirement demands high dibdems.

  402. But why does the response very? Amen?

  403. If I could ask you one question and man, why

  404. does the response vary? I mean, we see some flourisher

  405. and some do so well while others struggle. The truth

  406. is they were never in it. They were never desirous.

  407. They were never truly an elisha. They were a gahzi

  408. in disguise they been They were actually a wolf in

  409. sheep's clothing.

  410. They man.

  411. If you don't see them prosper. It's not that the

  412. opportunity wasn't equal. If you don't see them go forward

  413. in God. It's not that his hand of grace wasn't sufficient.

  414. If you don't see them excel they meant and walk

  415. forward with God hand in hand into the Promised Land.

  416. It's not that God didn't pay the path or present

  417. the playbooker they remember. It's that they simply chose their

  418. own path. They chose the walker. They in their way.

  419. The Bible said you must walk there, and there is

  420. a specific path you choose they meant, and it must

  421. aligned with the will of God and the plan of God.

  422. And when you've been given so much clarity, they mean

  423. so much a revelation from the man of God.

  424. Hona, you are without excuse.

  425. You are without excus man, you have no excuse. They

  426. men no reason? Why they men know whymn praise God, complain?

  427. Ask you why, oh God? Them in the truth is

  428. you are a gahayes eye wondering the pews. You're a

  429. gahzed eye wondering the men of God's house. Or imagine

  430. with me, how did he walk through the prayer cluset

  431. of Elisha and leave unchanged? How they walk through the

  432. prophecies of Elisha and come out the other side unscathed

  433. and unaltudor and unregenerated, undesirous of the gift of God

  434. because of the passions he harbored and protect Tina.

  435. In his hearror, he would rather.

  436. They men eat the huska woman then find the biscuits

  437. on the porcher. Oh friend, they mean, I tell you, Rda,

  438. I treasure my work with God, I treasure my church,

  439. and I treasure my pastor.

  440. For it is the gift of.

  441. God he has given us a man of God after

  442. his own heart. That is poor blood, sweat and tears

  443. into this worker. And if you ever walk through those doors,

  444. they mean never to return. It's not that Elisha. Wasn't there,

  445. wasn't present, wasn't available. It's a jugah haese I chose

  446. your own path and chose your on the road and

  447. never submitted to the will of God. And man, that's

  448. where you're headed. I mean, I my God, hey, that's

  449. where summer headed. That's impossible, Brother Nathaniel, God, God don't banish.

  450. I seem to recall God moving on a man of

  451. God to write words that went something like this, Brother

  452. Philip Jacob, Have I loved.

  453. Esau? Have I hated?

  454. Was it because Esau was offered any less opportunity? He

  455. was offered the greatest of the two. He was given

  456. the more. He was the eldest. He received the double portion,

  457. or would have it was his right to receive. But

  458. the heart issue in Esaul, Amen was the Bible said

  459. he despised.

  460. He is both right, Amen.

  461. And some they get to that state and men where

  462. they begin to despise that which they have been given.

  463. The truth this Some of you, Amen, ain't prayed Amenore, Hey,

  464. I'll get in trouble right here. Some of you ain't

  465. worked for the birth right you've been given. Some of

  466. you wasn't here for twenty years while Pastor Doug and

  467. falled and prayed and fasted. And then you get handed

  468. the gift of God on a silver platter.

  469. Amen.

  470. And if you don't treasure it and realize it really

  471. did cost that man of God something, Amen, you'll think

  472. it's frivolous and it's fleeting, and it was easily earn't

  473. it was?

  474. Amen?

  475. He fought hell flouda, Amen, he fall. Amen, Praise God

  476. the slaughter or the gates of Hell. And if it

  477. have not been for God establishing this church on the

  478. rock Christ Jesus, the gates of Hell had they men

  479. prevailed and going over Ursurica. But the truth is you've

  480. now been given a well established worker.

  481. They been a well functional church.

  482. They been where the Man of God, women comes of

  483. this blessed sacred desk every Sunday morning, every Sunday night,

  484. and every Wednesday.

  485. And we all know a man he's got something.

  486. The man he's about to feed the children of God

  487. that is wonderful and needed. The Remember, if you ain't

  488. worked for Aida, and you ain't been out there fighting

  489. Floyda and you think her. I mean, it's old you

  490. and you serve it and you deserve this and that

  491. they man, friend, you don't deserve.

  492. Amen, Praise God. One flee they man.

  493. Praise God. Off dog, they man, you don't deserve. They

  494. men one rock got world. Amen, Praise God. And the

  495. belly of a soul pig they been. What you need

  496. to do is realize it is the gift of God

  497. to be treasured and the boy Amen, loved and cherished

  498. from today until tomorrow and until time.

  499. And so shall you love the work of God and

  500. treasure the.

  501. Man of God and the power of God and the

  502. liberty of God and the spirit of God.

  503. That somebody would really treasure the work of God, somebody would.

  504. Really treasure be Elisha in your life, the Man of God.

  505. And realize it's fleeting, it's passion. You won't have anymore away,

  506. Lift your hand and love on the Lord.

  507. There had a he had h so he followed after naming.

  508. So he followed after name.

  509. And he makes a choice to chase the darkness inside,

  510. to pursue the lust of the flesh. There comes those

  511. times when God forces a person to choose. It was

  512. no coincidence that Gahazi had not been sent to town

  513. for apples. It was no coincidence but Gahesi had not

  514. been sent to the meal.

  515. Amen. Praise God for some corn. Amen, Praise God flower.

  516. What God did was orchestrate a divine crossroads.

  517. He gave Gazi a choice.

  518. Now, how many have walked away from the perfect will

  519. of God in pursuit of that which they truly desired

  520. on the inside.

  521. Proverbs six and eighteen.

  522. And then drops us off in the middle of some

  523. stirring scriptures, some very hard stirring scriptures. It talks about

  524. that which God hates, those things that are an abomination

  525. unto Him fiber of sixteen eighteen. Set in heart, Amen,

  526. this is one of the things. A man in heart

  527. that devises wicked imaginations and feet that be swift and

  528. running to mischief.

  529. You know what we find hays I.

  530. Doing at this opportunity that presents itself. Amen, he gets

  531. his Amen tennis shoes on, if you would, he gets

  532. his running shoes on, because the opportunity he has been

  533. waiting on is now a man in the distance and

  534. eating farther and farther away, and in the truth is

  535. the man. There are some people, aymen, that when that

  536. one opportunity presents themself its self and they realize it

  537. is now or never a man, they will choose that

  538. opportunity over God and his name.

  539. And the men begin to become a silhouette.

  540. Oh, with all the passion and fervor and strength that

  541. gahayze I did po sess theymen, but never invested into

  542. the work of God. He throws it all on the line, Amen,

  543. and becomes a gahayze e boat.

  544. Amen. He begins to run with everything that is within here.

  545. They man in the Bible talks about running that we

  546. might obtain, and the Bible said gahays eyes.

  547. He said, there is something I've gotta get from him.

  548. There's something he has that I need, And he's a

  549. running that he might get something from naming her. Oh,

  550. where was the energy? Where was the investment? Where was

  551. the heart in the work of God. But the minute

  552. you get presented on opportunity by the world, they mean,

  553. some will throw it out of the wind leyman and

  554. forget that. How precious it is that brethren draw together

  555. in the unity, and how sweet the anointing is, and

  556. how great the peace is, and they're sacrifice it all

  557. for a fleeting moment he will never see naming her

  558. let me know of again.

  559. But he didn't really want naming her. He wonted what

  560. he had. And some of You gotta be careful a man,

  561. and what you after. You may not rote the person.

  562. You may think you want what they have or ameen,

  563. but that that drives him to the barstool, That that

  564. drives him to the cloths.

  565. They man. It don't make them cool, It don't make

  566. them all some.

  567. It makes them to speak of all and destitute and

  568. broken down. Amen, Praise God. What are you after this morning?

  569. I'll tell you what I am, A double portion of

  570. thy spirit of God breathe only old breath of God.

  571. I deceased the Lord, show me thy glory, opening up

  572. the windows of heaven, and pour me ow a blessing.

  573. Let me be ready in the times of refreshing, coming

  574. from the presence of the Lord. This was not the

  575. prayer of hayes Ee, but most certainly wise of that

  576. sincere earnest women, man of God, Eliza, Oh God, What

  577. of aching when we consider his choice? What of Judas?

  578. When we ponder his path and what of Demus when

  579. we consider his desertion. I'm preaching a message even the

  580. Lord gave me. Some of you may have not heard

  581. this term before, but I find it most fitting when

  582. I consider the blunder this young man made.

  583. Amen. It came to me so clearly.

  584. Gehaze i the galut, gahayze i, the galute. When you

  585. look that up, it's not a slang word or anything

  586. like that. It's an old expression that says one who

  587. is strange or foolish, one who is strange or foolish.

  588. I find it most strange that he walked away from

  589. the mantle of Elisha. If there's one man in the Bible,

  590. I would travel back and meet and love to sit

  591. at his feet for hours and listen. Elisha, a man

  592. that we suppose undouble the miracles of Elijah.

  593. What a heritage. Oh the foolishness.

  594. God handed Gehzai a chance to be the servant to Elisha,

  595. at the very least, quite possibly the next prophet, but

  596. he foolishly squandered it. It was him, and praise God's

  597. sacrifice on the altar of self gratification.

  598. Luke nine and twenty.

  599. Three and he said under them all, and he said

  600. to them all, if any man will come after me,

  601. let him deny himself, take up his cross daily and

  602. follow me. He said unto them all, if any man

  603. will come after me, first, you're gonna have to deny yourself. Next,

  604. you're gonna have to take up your cross every day

  605. and follow Jesus instead of following God. Gahese I followed

  606. after naming, instead of following Yahweh. Gahze I chose what

  607. he could get in a moment from naming. If only

  608. gaheze I had picked up his cross instead of that

  609. which would cost his soul.

  610. Amen. And there's a lot of you, Amen.

  611. Even today, I still am, And until we go into heaven,

  612. we will all live with two choices, Amen, because of

  613. free will.

  614. Amen.

  615. And we will all be able to choose Amen, to

  616. pick up our cross, amen, or to lay it down

  617. and follow after something else.

  618. Amen.

  619. Galatians tree in one, and I'm coming to a close

  620. this morning, Galatian stree and one said, all foolish, correct Galatians,

  621. who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth.

  622. You see, something got a hold of gahyze I. Here Amen.

  623. And the truth is it altered his outlook and changed

  624. his mindset. No doubt he started off with great jubilance Amen,

  625. as all of us would have, kind of like when

  626. you start that new job.

  627. Amen, and you get there. Oh you're just Amen, You're

  628. ready to go to town. Amen.

  629. My goodness, There's never been a better crew, a better boss. Amen,

  630. there's never been Amen. Praise God, anything better than what

  631. you're experiencing. The walk with God should never lose the

  632. honeymoon phase. Your walk with God should never lose your love.

  633. The words of God caution those in Revelations, Amen, that

  634. had left that which they once possessed. And I don't

  635. know what happened to Gahayzi, but I do know the

  636. Bible said these Galatians Amen, they were bewitched. Even they

  637. would begin to be under the control of something that

  638. altered their perception of reality. Something got a hold of Gahayzi. Yeah,

  639. something can get ahold of you. Or if you're in

  640. that state now, you must be honest and know when

  641. you came here, Ay matter if it was all green pastures,

  642. it still is.

  643. Something's making you look at the septic tank.

  644. As they say, I don't man, that's the only place

  645. you'll find greener pastures.

  646. Let's stand this morning. I've delivered my burden.

  647. We must never let our perspective become altered by our adversaries.

  648. All the inner turmo. I see here.

  649. As the rider shows us the heart of Gehazi, gehayze I,

  650. the galute Gehayzi, now known as Gahesi, the foolish, Gehazi,

  651. the squanderer, Gahayzi, the wasteful, not gahez I, the man

  652. that a man prayed for a little dead boy, and

  653. he was raised gaheze I, the nothing, the leper, the worthless.

  654. You see the Bible, and we're all familiar with it.

  655. The Bible said the leprosy therefore of name, and shall

  656. cleave under thee under and unto thy seed forever. And

  657. he went out from his presence a leoper as white

  658. as snow. It was not necessarily common for a man

  659. I don't believe to be completely overtaken by leprosy. Some

  660. it would be their nose, and their hands, and their

  661. feet and different parts. But I believe the Bible quite

  662. liberally when it says he was white a snow. I

  663. believe gahes I became one of the worst lepers mankind

  664. ever saw one bad choice and one wrong decision all

  665. the wasteful heart of those consumed by a wanting spirit, Oh,

  666. the wasteful heart of those consumed by a wanting spirit,

  667. because that when they knew God, they glorified him not

  668. as God. Neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations,

  669. and their foolish hearts were darkened. Brother Jesse, would you

  670. come get us a song? This morning? We find here

  671. Gehese exalting his will over God's will. Elisha had already

  672. said no. But then Gehese I chooses yes. Man, I

  673. wish it. I mean, would you bow your heads this morning?

  674. Neither were they thankful, but became vain in their imaginations,

  675. and their foolish.

  676. Hearts were darkened.

  677. I mean this morning, I planned to pray that God

  678. would help me always treasure truth and righteousness. I planned

  679. to pray that God would help me always see the

  680. true benefit of the Bethel hole in his church.

  681. More than I even do now, I tell you the truth.

  682. Amen, among my salvation in my walk with God, I

  683. feel the greatest blessings in my life are the Bethel

  684. hole in his church, my pastor and pastor's wife, and

  685. my wife and children, and my Bethel family.

  686. I know you all feel likewise, but old Slewfoot likes

  687. to get in there. Amen.

  688. Praise God and start making you wonder if he's done that. Amen.

  689. I doubt he has. If I doubt you've let him. Amen.

  690. But this morning I encourage you, haze I it's still

  691. as good as it ever was.

  692. Amen.

  693. If you let the devil amen push you away, It's

  694. still as wonderful as it ever was. The blessings of

  695. God are still as rich as they ever was, and

  696. they still ain't had no sorrow with it.

  697. That Amen.

  698. So this morning, could we come and pray? Say, Lord,

  699. I don't want to be a foolish Christian. I don't

  700. want to lose the proper perspective of what I have

  701. been given. God, Him that has given much much shall

  702. be required. Lord. Shall my return unto You must be

  703. more than those I judge myself By.

  704. Lord, we thank you for the best of holiness Church.

  705. This morning. We thank you for our pastor.

  706. We thank you for a golden opportunity to worship You

  707. in the beauty of holiness here in these United States

  708. of America. God, we thank you for the revelation of

  709. your word, the truth of your will. We thank you

  710. for your kingdom. God, let us treasure truth and righteousness.
