  1. Thankful for the service we've had thus far, the wonderful

  2. presence of God.

  3. Amen.

  4. It's always wonderful Amen to be here in church with

  5. you all, and men always special Amen, always something Amen,

  6. to be enjoyed Amen, and treasured. I'm most grateful for

  7. this opportunity.

  8. Amen. Thank you all for your giving. Amen. I sure

  9. miss my pastor this morning. Amen.

  10. Sister how we missed them so much. I mean we

  11. miss our Moses Amen this morning. And the Bible does

  12. say to give honor where it's due. And Amen, I

  13. for one, and I know you always well are extremely

  14. grateful for their labors of love and this region.

  15. Amen. And no doubt his reward will be great. Amen. Amen.

  16. Their reward is gonna be great. And I'm thankful for

  17. that Amen, because I could never repay them.

  18. Amen. Only God could amen sound thankful. Amen. God's gonna

  19. handle that. Amen. All I gotta do Amen is show

  20. them my gratitude. Amen. Here Amen, while they're here. Amen.

  21. Brother Jesse, Amen, would you mind to help me this morning?

  22. Brother Samuel, could you read a co text as well

  23. this morning?

  24. But love it.

  25. We're gonna be going to mark chapter number two. Amen,

  26. Mark chapter number two. It's gonna be a familiar portion

  27. of scripture. Amen, that the Lord laid on my heart. Amen,

  28. Brother Samuel. If you would find James chapter number two

  29. and verse number eighteen, Amen, Brother Jesse. Would you find

  30. first Corinthians, chapter number thirteen and verse number one, Amen,

  31. Brother sam that'd be James chapter number two and versus

  32. number eighteen, Brother Jesse. One Corinthians thirteen and verse number one,

  33. Brother Samuel, would you go ahead and read James chapter

  34. two in verse eighteen.

  35. Yeay, A man may say theou hast faith, and I

  36. have works. Show me thy faith without thy works, and

  37. I will show THEE my faith by my works.

  38. Yes, Lord, Amen, Brother Jesse. One Corinthians thirteen and verse

  39. number one.

  40. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of

  41. angels and have not charity, I am become as sounding

  42. brass or a tinkling.

  43. Symbol of teenth and symbol, Amen, Praise God. Brother Caleb

  44. talked a little bit this morning, and I heard him

  45. when he said Amen. He said he told him, Amen,

  46. you can't have one without the other.

  47. You can't have one without the other.

  48. And you'll kind of see Amen, how the Lord Amen

  49. was speaking to us even through that Amen. As we

  50. get into this sermonymen, if you would stand for the

  51. reading of God's Word this morning, mark chapter number two.

  52. We're gonna begin reading at verse number five. When Jesus

  53. saw their faith, he said, under the sick of the

  54. palsy son, thy sins be forgiven thee. But there were

  55. certain of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts.

  56. Why doth this man thus speak blasphemes?

  57. Who can forgive sins? But God only?

  58. And immediately, when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they

  59. so reasoned within themselves, he said, unto them, why reason

  60. ye these things in your hearts? Whether it is easy

  61. to say, to the sick of the palsy, thy sins

  62. be forgiven thee, or to say, arise and take up

  63. thy bed and walk, But that ye may know that

  64. the Son of Man hath power on earth to forgive sins.

  65. He saith to the sick of the palsy.

  66. I say, unto thee, a rise and take up thy bed,

  67. and go thy way into thy house. I mean, if

  68. you would stretch your hands toward Heaven, ask God to

  69. help us this morning. Lord, We thank you for your mercy,

  70. your grace, your many blessings. Lord, thank you for all

  71. that you've done in this service already the spirit of

  72. God that we have failed the Lord. We are so

  73. grateful for the anointing and the liberty.

  74. God.

  75. We're so thankful God that you have a plan and

  76. you orchestrated. It's not man's design, God, but your will.

  77. And we submit to your will and ask you. Let

  78. it God come to pass here in this service, even

  79. as it would in heaven. Bless this thy people, God

  80. said a guard about my mouth. Let me say nothing

  81. more and nothing less than you would have me. Let

  82. us depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus'

  83. holy name. We ask and pray and thank you Lord,

  84. praise God. And the church said, Amen, Amen, look at

  85. your neighbor this morning in honor of our pastor, because

  86. we miss him so much. Amen, and tell them I'm important.

  87. I want you now to look back at your neighbor

  88. and incredulously tell them I am too.

  89. Amen. You see both of us matter.

  90. Amen. You matter, Amen as much as I do. I've

  91. never claim to be amen better than you or Amen.

  92. I've never claimed to be more important than you. And

  93. we have some friends here in our text and it's

  94. a very familiar passage of scripture that saw the need

  95. of their friend.

  96. Amen.

  97. Our text is found in the second Book of the

  98. New Testament and bears the name of its author.

  99. Amen.

  100. By the second chapter, Mark is already detailing to us

  101. the miracles that were being performed by the Messiah.

  102. Amen.

  103. There are other authors that it seems like it takes

  104. them a little bit longer to get into what Jesus

  105. began to do, Amen, and what he was doing throughout

  106. the land. We have some of them give us a

  107. long backstory, and I'm so thankful for it.

  108. Amen.

  109. There's nothing I love more than Christmas Day sitting down

  110. and reading Luke's account of what happened before.

  111. Amen.

  112. Jesus got to this point in his ministry. But Mark

  113. kind of jumped straight in here.

  114. Amen.

  115. And we find this familiar story Amen, in the already

  116. in the second Amen chapter of the second book.

  117. Amen.

  118. And I find a familiar story to each and every

  119. one of us that are a Bible reader or was

  120. raised on the pew.

  121. We're familiar with this story. Amen. There's a man sick

  122. of palsy. Amen. He's laying there in his current state.

  123. His friends can't help him, no doubt, And we see

  124. here their tenacity and determination. If they had thought there

  125. was a way before this to help him, they would

  126. have done so.

  127. Amen.

  128. But here there offered a ray of hope, and they

  129. seize that ray of hope when they grab this man

  130. that can't do for himself, and his friends carry him

  131. to Jesus. Amen, because they see his outward need, and

  132. upon arrival em in. Despite probably what I would have done,

  133. Jesus does something a little different. And that's why it's

  134. so important that we as believers be spirit led and

  135. spirit field.

  136. Amen.

  137. Because Jesus here has a man set down in front

  138. of him. His friends have went the great links to

  139. see him healed physically. And what Jesus addresses is not

  140. his physical ailments, but his spiritual ailments. And in verse

  141. number five, the Bible said, when Jesus saw their faith,

  142. he said, unto the sick of the Palsy's son, thy

  143. sins be forgiven thee Amen, he sees his physical condition.

  144. Yes, I believe you couldn't miss it.

  145. I believe it was evident for everyone in the building

  146. that this man was a paraplegic.

  147. Amen.

  148. This man couldn't do for himself like others could. I mean,

  149. I probably believe Amen that Amen, anyone in the building

  150. in the front row with a saw this man had said,

  151. we're gonna get to see a show this morning. The amen,

  152. because they've dropped him here in front of Jesus, and

  153. we know his power to heal the physical body, and

  154. Jesus Jesus physical aimen condition but instead addresses his spiritual state.

  155. He sees his physical condition, but rather addresses his am

  156. in spiritual state. And verse Samuel sixteen and seven, the

  157. latter part of that verse said said for the Lord

  158. seeth not as a man seeth. For a man looketh

  159. on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

  160. And Jesus gets a man set down in front of him.

  161. That if I was in that crowd this morning, I

  162. would have said, his most important need is that he

  163. receive a healing in his physical body.

  164. Amen. I guarantee you many in that place.

  165. I mean, when Jesus said, thy sends me forgiving, THEE said,

  166. that's not really why this man is here. Even that's

  167. not really what was important or what this was done for.

  168. Imagine you were this man's four friends.

  169. You just tore the roof off a house and drug

  170. a man up a building that could not help you.

  171. He was nothing but dead wade, and you.

  172. Drop him down in front of Jesus, and instead of

  173. Jesus addressing Amen, here's a withered state am in his

  174. state of theymen, not completeness, his state of lack of

  175. Jesus looks at him and says, son, Thy sends me

  176. forgiving thee aymen, and let me tell you for rind.

  177. Even then ported too being led up the spirit is

  178. often amen judging the exterior and miss the spiritual.

  179. Often we can look at the.

  180. Persona they've been sitting on the church forew and say

  181. they've got what they need. Why because they've gone on there.

  182. They've been holiness attire, they've been friend. You can be

  183. as lost as the devil, and a look as holy

  184. as Peter, James and John and Jesus and the spirit

  185. women will lead your pastor to address the spiritual nature

  186. and the spiritual things, for there are things that are

  187. not but spiritual leaders earned meaning, Brother Nathaniel can come

  188. on a Sunday morning and look at you and say

  189. they're fine, They've got it down. They look holiness, they

  190. represent Jesus well, aymen, and I can know the look,

  191. but the spiritual conditioner and the spiritual stay women. Then

  192. you're women praise God.

  193. Being where you are the essence of who you are

  194. as a Christian.

  195. I mean I may miss who you are on the

  196. inside because I judged you by the exterior. But you

  197. drop you hide in front of the preacher of Jesus,

  198. and he will address your spiritual condition and begin to

  199. talk to you about what's been going on through out

  200. the leak, even nothing nobody else knows about what God

  201. is sin good purple leads a committee. I can't tell you,

  202. but Jesus saw it in there. I mean I couldn't

  203. have looked at him or told you that man's been thieving.

  204. Oh that man ain't man praised God stole the neighbor's horse.

  205. He probably did, and but nevertheless there was something in

  206. his heart what Jesus saw, and he began to address it.

  207. If he was here this morning and walked in, e men,

  208. no doubt I would have said, Lord, we're gonna need

  209. a healing this morning. I would have catered to that

  210. which was visible visual, I mean invisible and apparent. But

  211. the Bible said them that are led by the spirit.

  212. They are the sons of God, the true men of God.

  213. Amen. Praise God.

  214. Can look beyond the exterior, Amen and see the internal issues.

  215. We have a pastor that is spirit led, and none

  216. can question that fact.

  217. Amen.

  218. And there's been times he embarked and endeavored to salvage

  219. a soul. Amen, that I completely missed the need in

  220. that life. Amen, in praise God, and I will be

  221. the first to admit.

  222. Amen.

  223. I Amen, Amen, endeavor and strive Amen to be such

  224. a man.

  225. Amen.

  226. But if we're not a man living like we need to,

  227. your exterior Amen, should not be looked on. You should

  228. not come in here expecting us to church you.

  229. Amen, like you just walked out of the upper room. Amen.

  230. If you've got heart.

  231. Is shoes, you should not spect us Amen to treat

  232. you like a great a blue ribbon. Amen, child of God,

  233. For we are commanded. If you live in contrary to

  234. the word of God, we cannot bid you God's speed.

  235. We cannot put a stamp of approval on you or

  236. your efforts.

  237. Amen. I don't care what your exterior looks like.

  238. Even there ain't a person here an that I personally

  239. wouldn't slide before Heaven's judgment, bar amen, and put their

  240. standard on display and say, Lord, I feel like they

  241. measure up.

  242. But friend, that don't amount of hilapines.

  243. If you ain't got, if you ain't got regeneration and

  244. salvation on the interior, you can look as good aymen,

  245. praise God as your neighbor, aymen. But if you haven't

  246. got the same salvation, they men, do not expect the

  247. minister from the preacher to over looka the degradation.

  248. They men, clothed in holy women were rather filthy rags. Wymen.

  249. Let me tell you there were some Parisees and scribes.

  250. They men.

  251. They had it down, Brother Samuel. They knew how to looca.

  252. They knew how to talk, they knew how to walk,

  253. they knew.

  254. How to tithe.

  255. They knew how to give offering, even on the Minta

  256. and the coomen, those little things.

  257. They men.

  258. They were a Christian, They were a Jew. They iSER,

  259. They were a Jew of the Jews, they men. But

  260. then Jesus looked at them when he saw their current state,

  261. they in that spiritual condition, and he said, you are

  262. nothing more than a pretty separacher. You've tried to cover

  263. it off with some white Russia. You've tried to clothe

  264. it and make it look good. What the truth is

  265. inside of you?

  266. There is a hey, hey inside of you.

  267. There are dead men's bones, the dead man yet, le Us,

  268. you haven't.

  269. Cleaned it out. He's still inside of there.

  270. Jesus didn't pet them or say your standard looks good,

  271. and your offering's good, and your talk's good. He said, friend,

  272. I see you, and I see the inner man, and

  273. I know a state, and it's racking. Many would have

  274. assumed this big this, the biggest need here was this

  275. man's paralytic state. They are backsliders that come home and

  276. they get in trouble because they want the preacher to

  277. help them get their feet back under them. They come

  278. home and they say, I'm here to do better, especially

  279. when they get their start a lot of times in

  280. worldly sanctuaries who oblige them, and they put on their

  281. garbe and say, all I need is to get my

  282. feet back under me.

  283. I know how to live, I know how to walk,

  284. I know how to talk.

  285. This man's biggest need was not the fact that he

  286. needed to get his feet under him and begin to

  287. stand on his own again. His biggest need was internal

  288. them in sole regeneration, renewing, reviving, restorative power, founding.

  289. The blood of Jesus.

  290. There is something, amen, that you can come in contact

  291. liver that will clean up the interior and the exterior.

  292. Women, praise God.

  293. There's something that you can touch that does away with

  294. interior struggles. Aymen, praise God and the exterior struggles. Amen.

  295. But there's a lot of them. They came home and

  296. never got regenerated. They just put on their own costume

  297. and said, let me get my feet under me. Oh,

  298. heal me on the exterior. Heal me on the exterior.

  299. They will let me blend in with the congregation, and

  300. there was never a hard regeneration. Yes, you can be

  301. in the congregation a man who look as holy that's

  302. your neighbor, and be a man of vile surfing her

  303. on the inside, be a riving us love and man,

  304. be somebody that is never fout the good of God.

  305. Clense them from and to learn passions and prides. Heyman,

  306. you could still walk a garden to the flesher while

  307. looking like her. Heyman, you areh somebody hamn run of Judas.

  308. He looked as good as James. He looked as good

  309. as John. He looked as good as Peter, but there

  310. was never harder regeneration. I don't care if you claim

  311. to be an apostle, if you claim to be a preacher,

  312. if you claim to be a saint, you could still

  313. be a judass.

  314. I got a ways to go this morning. Come on

  315. trying to hurry here.

  316. Jesus sees there are two needs of which he is

  317. capable to work in both of them. And I came

  318. to preach for just as long as the Lord will

  319. help me.

  320. A mess.

  321. It's simply titled. Both know your ears didn't blink, and

  322. you miss part of it.

  323. That's all there is to it.

  324. I was down praying Wednesday and found myself praying, Lord,

  325. I need your anointing, and God, I need liberty and God,

  326. we need your power, and God, we need your direction,

  327. and Lord, we need you to bind the hindrances. And Lord,

  328. You're anointing will break the yoke. But I don't need

  329. the hindrances bound more than I need the yolks broken. God,

  330. I need both of them, and you're capable of going

  331. to do both of them. And this paralytic man gets

  332. dropped down in front of Jesus, and Jesus isn't only

  333. able to make him look like everybody else, He's also

  334. able to.

  335. Make him for the kingdom of Heaven.

  336. Aymen, in this morning, they man, there is not one

  337. that matters more than the other. Hey man, If you

  338. get regenerated and you don't eventually line.

  339. Your lifestyle up with the word of God.

  340. A hey man, let me tell you them in your

  341. lifestyle will cause you to go to hell. And there

  342. isn't a person in here that could live and look

  343. holiness enough without an internal generation that would they men

  344. make them worthy to go to heaven. What you need

  345. is good old fashion They in no way around it.

  346. Don't dig under the walls or climb more ruder or

  347. go around there. You just need a good old fashioner reprientencer.

  348. Where you find.

  349. Both of them, where God does the worker, and he

  350. moves in your life and you get run.

  351. That's well, lie the other.

  352. Both means one as well as the other, one.

  353. As well as the other.

  354. Brother Philip, I can't live good enough to deserve heaven,

  355. and I can't go to heaven without regeneration.

  356. The Bible said, there he is a man a second birth.

  357. Every lasser one of us must experience a bar nothing. Aymen,

  358. our holiness, dress styles and appearances one theymen exclude us

  359. from meeting that requirement. But the Bible said holiness, without

  360. which no man shall see the Lord.

  361. Amen.

  362. So without your holiness, you can't go to heaven and

  363. have salvation.

  364. You can't go to heaven.

  365. It's gonna take both of them to see you through

  366. the pearly gates.

  367. You can't pick one and neglect the other.

  368. Amen. You can't cleave the run and hold to the other. Ruh,

  369. you better have a grip on the ball of them.

  370. That's ted ass the other one. Rue, that's well, that's

  371. the other.

  372. Our humanity leads us to uh, leads us so often

  373. down a path where we major on the visible and

  374. quit considering the fact. There is more to be considered. Amen,

  375. more to be done, Amen, More Amen that we must do.

  376. Amen.

  377. You tell me it isn't true that when you look

  378. at yourself, you want to look at where you do best.

  379. You want to look where you're gifted. You want to.

  380. If you're good at carpentry. You don't focus on the fact. Amen,

  381. Praise God, you can't lay tile. You focus on the

  382. fact you can rough frame a closet in an hour

  383. and a half. If you're good at backing an eighteen

  384. wheeler out, you don't focus on the fact that you

  385. can't do electricity. You focus on the fact I'm the

  386. best semi driver. Amen, this company's ever seen, and they'll

  387. never find a finer one.

  388. Amen.

  389. But friend, Amen, in our walk with God, we cannot

  390. major on one.

  391. And neglect the other.

  392. We are to be equally balanced, even we are to

  393. be somebody that walks from the spirit and does not

  394. fulfill for rest of the fresh There are many Christians

  395. in many churches on this Sunday morning, they men brace

  396. God that their lifestyle would never tell the world. Theymen

  397. that they're a Christian, and there are others they mean

  398. that they're lifestyle cows the world. They're a Christiana, and

  399. they ain't no or saved than the person at the

  400. Presbyterian Church because they never experienced even that second birth

  401. and that region a racing. I don't care if you

  402. are raised in holiness or race in the world. I

  403. don't care what your heritage he is. It doesn't matter

  404. to God. What matters he is a what's going on

  405. on the inside and the current state of the outside,

  406. for He cares about both and has given us director

  407. and scriptures concerning both of them. And if you eye

  408. offend thee, theom inprendice just that you've got a problem

  409. with the eye. And if you hand offend thee, he

  410. can have a shirt touching its wristbone.

  411. Amen.

  412. But if it offends you that inside him and praise God. Problem,

  413. it's gonna have to be a dreath. Because the Bible

  414. said from inside proceededth out these things. Aymen have brought

  415. you reason inthornications. You can look as holiness, Amen, please

  416. God as anyone, and still there'll be thanks proceeding from

  417. the inside because the interior man was never there or addressed. Yes,

  418. I'm preaching. I'm preaching to us this morning. That didn't matters,

  419. But we be both. Some want to be taking it

  420. face value.

  421. Bear with me for a moment.

  422. Some want to be taking it face value, and their

  423. spiritual side never be addressed. You See, they'll show up

  424. at a church and say, I've been church hurt, so

  425. you gotta be careful how you preach to me. I've

  426. been offended, so you gotta be careful how you talk

  427. to me.

  428. My God, it don't matter. Amen. If you've got shin

  429. in your life, the preacher has to address it.

  430. Hey, hey, hey, amen, it don't matter the wounds, Amen,

  431. you may bear in your spiritual back. Jesus Christ became

  432. Lord and Christ. He became both of them.

  433. After that.

  434. His back was a ribbna and his beard a rifter,

  435. and amen, crown of thorns. They'men raked across his scora.

  436. He became both of them. Amen, I'm this man good

  437. of sented. Look how bad I look on the outside,

  438. How bad I've been treated. Everything I've been through, even

  439. the Cord's life has dealt me.

  440. Look how bad they are, our preacher, just look at me,

  441. Just look at me.

  442. Don't ever talk about my sin, talk about our peniful

  443. for on me has been treated.

  444. My daughter with bear sitting.

  445. On the inside, you better been holding up, may man

  446. not the preacher will be spiritually led this. Don't turn sideways.

  447. Let's say they're sitting there. Amen, it don't matter what's

  448. going on. It's still seeing, it's still sing, and it's

  449. still saying, hey hey, who second Peter one in ten said,

  450. wherefore the rather brethren give diligence to make your calling

  451. and election sure, for if you do these things, you

  452. shall never fall. Calling and election two parts. There is

  453. the calling more important than the election? Is the election

  454. more important than the calling? Both of them matter to God.

  455. Calling means invitation. God is not willing that any should perish.

  456. He gives offen in a invitation. The calling is imported through.

  457. Without the calling, we would not be able to make

  458. Heaven our home. But election means your selection. He man,

  459. what have you picked this morning?

  460. The calling is there, and some.

  461. Worry and bold in the factor that they've been caller

  462. but never raker in the paths of righteousness, and some

  463. raucer seemingly in the paths of righteousness, of having never

  464. accepted their invitation to all down at Calvary and repent

  465. of their sins. What is more imported the invitation or

  466. the selection? Waitmen, there are two parts. What have you

  467. chosen this morning? Are they both evident in your life?

  468. Are they both president? Or are you missing wada or

  469. the other? You must accept the invitation and continue to

  470. walk according to your selection. Come out from among them,

  471. be separate, saith the Lord. So he gave you an invitation,

  472. But it's your selection to say I'm coming out I'm

  473. coming out.

  474. Lord, Hey, you hear the this morning.

  475. You can act like oh I've been saying when I

  476. was shoot that doctor will get you and you won't

  477. even realize this. Nasty talents are in there. You can

  478. glory in the invitation. They may have never made the

  479. selection because the selection comes with requirements such as come

  480. out from amndim and be ye separate eman, the pastor,

  481. don't separate you, the youth pastor, Dollar, the Sunday school teacher, Dorara,

  482. be ye separate, say up the line.

  483. That's not the unclean thing. Are you here this morning?

  484. You're glorying in the invitation, but never measured opa to

  485. the requirements, not the selection.

  486. You can profess and your heart be here.

  487. Far from him, they say with their mouth they but

  488. their selection says they are far far from me. Both matter.

  489. If he's in two and nine said, not of works,

  490. lest any man should boast. Your works will never get

  491. you to heaven. Your works will never make you deserving

  492. of forgiveness from your transgressions. But we're gonna get somewhere.

  493. Because they love to talk about that. It's not of works.

  494. You're right, hey, it's right there. But let me tell

  495. you the other side of this that is of equal

  496. and part its. James and eighteen said, yeah, a man

  497. say voul hast faced and I have works Brother Philip,

  498. You've got selection, and I've got righteousness. You've got once saved,

  499. always saved, and I've got holy attire. He ain't gonna

  500. get to heaven the more than I am, and I

  501. ain't gonna get to Heaven the quicker than him, because

  502. they both matter to God. You cannot have, as brother

  503. Caleb said, confirming this message, you cannot have one without

  504. possessing the other. And in one man's car saying you

  505. have virture and I have faith. Let us see which

  506. is most effective. I have my salvation even with no outreach.

  507. I have my relationship with no commission and compassion. How

  508. is that effective faith? How is that effect of faith?

  509. When you come on a Sunday morning and you've yet

  510. to tell the lost dieing rad that God loves to him.

  511. There's a host of holiness people. They ain't have no

  512. how to reach, but they possess they've been praised God

  513. supposedly for their faith without a workshire. They possess their

  514. holy attire and claim to have the save relationship with God.

  515. They ben who told us? Are they been?

  516. We are the cher to the loss? They been friends.

  517. You've got a hall of both of them. You've got

  518. to be both off them. Oh God, helpless this morning?

  519. Where are the others who have works with no genuine faith?

  520. Those who get consumed with I feed the homeless, We

  521. do hot dog giveaways on First Street, but they the Jesus.

  522. They present the world in no way aligns with the

  523. Word of God. So who's going to heaven here? I

  524. know judge, not that you be not judge? They men

  525. have follow it up, for with the same amen measure

  526. that you meet, It's gonna be given that bar you set,

  527. brother Jesse, even praise God, it's gonna be measured to

  528. us again. But when the word of God's already measuring it.

  529. I haven't judged a man, and I haven't extended the bar.

  530. I've only simply said God's bar is here, and you're

  531. not jumping high in a Maybe. I'm not judging you,

  532. nor am I condemning you. But when you don't meet

  533. God's standards, I've yet to judge you.

  534. God's word has judged you. I've yet to condemn you.

  535. Be ever resting under fire and unaddoterorated word of God.

  536. Has condemned you. You own your rail to a devil's

  537. hell if you don't have bars of damn.

  538. I don't have to judge brother Samuel when God's word

  539. has and I haven't judged him when I repeat the

  540. words that have. Brother Jessy could find himself in jail tomorrow,

  541. and I could go to the prison bars and recite

  542. the verdict of the judge.

  543. I have no more.

  544. Condemned him to life in prison than anything but the

  545. judge that did. He'll say what that man SAIDs true.

  546. I said, you'll never get out of these prison bars.

  547. They've been friend the world of God. He is the judge.

  548. It is what we measure up to you, and it's

  549. what your neighbor measures up to you. And you're not

  550. a fall when you say they aren't meeting who the

  551. standards of God. For a righteous man, a wise man,

  552. and a good man judges all things. Woo. There are

  553. many that failed to address the spiritual. The spiritual sins.

  554. You see the parable almost of the paralytic. One major's

  555. on what they do on his exterior, while another measures

  556. themselves by their supposed spiritual condition. But both of them matter,

  557. and they are both necessary. You don't a man and

  558. can't pick one. You see, the Bible went on the saying, James,

  559. I will show thee my faith by my works. What

  560. he says here he is, I'm going to demonstrate to

  561. you my faith, and it's gonna be coupled with works.

  562. And you're gonna.

  563. See that I have faith because I have love for

  564. the brethren. You're gonna see I have faith because and

  565. that I'd done it under the least of these, my brethren.

  566. I've done it under him.

  567. And my works we'll testify of me, even as Jesus said, Amen,

  568. the works are telling the story of theymen, my Father's

  569. testifying of me. They men, my works are testifying that

  570. the Father. And then you can get them in some

  571. church members you can't. They men praise God, get him.

  572. Theymen praise God. To read a flower bed, Amen, praise God.

  573. To put a coat of paint on a building. They

  574. in the more thing you can get your two year

  575. old to let you cram a pair of ice law

  576. vice scripts are channel option in their mouth and yank

  577. out of tooth. Amen, praise God. And then there are

  578. others for Johnny on the spot.

  579. Women.

  580. But let me tell you, you can't have one without

  581. the other. And the one that has no works, it's

  582. just as guilty as the one full of works.

  583. If neither, if either the.

  584. Men party is lacking an elemental or of the ingredients.

  585. They man, there can be a cake that rises and

  586. looks beautiful and tastes like a cinder blocker, and then

  587. you can let lose an ingredient and it'll never never rise,

  588. and men praise God and it'll just be a power

  589. of nasty, sloppy and man suripy sweeter nothing ness. But

  590. you tell me what's better the cinder block that looks

  591. like it should be a cake? They man, pray's got

  592. that cake that tastes like a cinder block that'smissing something

  593. or that power and nothing. There's some church members they

  594. look like the cake. This is what I'm saying. They

  595. represent Christ well women, but they're still missing an ingredient. Ephraim,

  596. you're a happy makes cake. You're missing something, there's an element.

  597. And then there are others with no works, no representation

  598. of Christ, no love for the brethren, her he even

  599. praise God. But they claim equally that they are saved

  600. as the other Amen. But I will show thee my

  601. faith by my work, and that I love the work

  602. for God, and that I love my brother in and

  603. that I love Church, and that I love my Lord,

  604. that I love the worship, that I love to praise

  605. my God. And it will be evident Him that was

  606. forgiven Macha for all He's gonna love and much. Why

  607. don't you love where you're never forgiven? Hemen, Why don't

  608. you love where you're never forgiven? Where you never grims

  609. and washed her and set free. I got a hurry

  610. this morning. I gotta share this, and I'm wanna be quick.

  611. I'm preaching to myself here because I've got a family.

  612. Pastor laid a beautiful foundation and pattern for the Howl

  613. children as someone who juggled ministry and family. The Bible said,

  614. what does it profit a man if he gained the

  615. whole world and lose his own soul? I know some

  616. of the finest missionaries a man praise God, and I

  617. could call one by name, But seemingly he saved a

  618. whole region, but his children are as lost as the

  619. devil is. There are many ministers who have lost their

  620. children while preaching to the Lost Sheep. And one of

  621. the things I admired about my father and always will

  622. and always pray to pattern my life and ministry after

  623. is he would take the time to spend the moment

  624. with me, Amen, even as much as he did am

  625. in the Lost Sheep of Israel.

  626. Amen. But here's the problem.

  627. Some say, I, I've gotta save my family, and there's

  628. no outreach. So I cannot condemn one without condemning the other.

  629. For they are both important. You see, the Bible said clearly.

  630. To all go ye into all the world.

  631. And preach the gospel, going to the highwaising hedges, and

  632. compel them to come in. So which one is more important?

  633. Which one it matters most?

  634. Friend?

  635. I got to tell you they're both importing. For rob

  636. what profit was it if we were to save the

  637. whole nation of Guatemara and never a man experience am

  638. in our child falling out and all through every penance.

  639. I mean, there was a ministry that we cannot discredit,

  640. and it was the ministry of Noah. You see, Noah

  641. re lives both or up the utmost important, and he

  642. preached for one hundred years in the highways and the hedges,

  643. and he compelled for one hundred of something years in

  644. the highways and hedges. But then when the boat was

  645. a flood, the Bible said, he's saved his household. Friend.

  646. What matters most.

  647. They're both in poortand you better be reaching the lost,

  648. and you better be shaving your family. You better be

  649. reaching the despicable, a man in the disgusting, while maintaining

  650. focus on your friends and family.

  651. Women, Praise God, there he is. Women. I don't know

  652. what this hey, I don't know how to get it

  653. across to you. I mean all I all I can

  654. do is tell you they both matter.

  655. I ain't got the words to tell you, but they're

  656. scriptures that britain them both. And if their scriptures appertain

  657. to both, they both matter as much as the other.

  658. For they are equally settling heaven, they are equally everlasting.

  659. We will equally be judged by both of them. They meant.

  660. So I encourage every young minister moving for never lose sight.

  661. Let both matter. Your kids matter and the drunkard matter.

  662. And you must divide your time severally as the spirit leads.

  663. You must be let out the spirit.

  664. I know that took an unexpected turn, but the Lord

  665. gave me that in prayer, and I had to share it.

  666. Noah warned the world and won his family. What a

  667. successful ministry, What a successful ministry.

  668. Shoe headed.

  669. There are many things that we can do that are

  670. not good enough if missing key ingredients. Have you ever

  671. felt your praise was bland? It wasn't quite what someone

  672. else's was. And a pattern for you in life and

  673. in service is the cain and able worship service.

  674. I know we're slowing down a little bit. Let me

  675. talk to you just for a minute.

  676. Is it because of God's partiality, because that's one of

  677. the major focal points of his personality. No, partiality ain't

  678. in there. I believe in calls and effect, especially in

  679. the spiritual realm. There are no happen chances or coincidences,

  680. but rather there are results directly correlated with God's approval

  681. or disapproval of one's actions or offerings. And so we

  682. read here, and then we read here in verse Corinthians,

  683. chapter number thirteen, a cotext the Bible said, though I

  684. speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and

  685. have not charity, I become as a sounding brass or

  686. a tinkling symbol. Though I have the gift of prophecy

  687. and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I

  688. have all faith so that I could remove mountains and

  689. have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow

  690. all my goods to feed the poor, and though I

  691. give my body to be burned and have not charity,

  692. it profiteth me nothing. Now I ask you, in honesty,

  693. can you condemn any one of these actions in themselves.

  694. I cannot condemn speaking with tongues. I cannot condemn prophesying,

  695. I cannot condemn giving of your goods to feed the poor.

  696. And I cannot condemn martyrs who sacrifice it all. But

  697. without two elements, it is no good. It benefits you

  698. none at all. You must have both of them. And

  699. this is one of the things I mean, I think

  700. of it. Maybe you don't want to think about it.

  701. If I'm ever at the chopping block, me and my family,

  702. and that man executes my daughter in front of me,

  703. the moment I lose my love and I lose my head. Next,

  704. where am I headed? Where are you headed? Let me

  705. ask you on your level. You go out there and

  706. hold a church sign without love for those souls passing by,

  707. of what benefit we go to the nursing home and

  708. we don't love those elderly folks.

  709. Of what benefit is it to us?

  710. I could spend my life in the nursing home preaching

  711. the Kingdom of Heaven and Jesus Christ him crucified, buried

  712. and resurrected and never amen, get to Heaven and God

  713. say welcome to the pearly gates. This is important. It's

  714. all important. Everything in the world of God is important.

  715. You can go out there to check a box so

  716. others see you, and you do it before men.

  717. Mean a little bit here. You don't benefit off a bet.

  718. When you walked out there to check a box and

  719. you did it without the love of God.

  720. Hi.

  721. You nothing my sounding brass and a tinkling symbol a

  722. brand instrument. But you couple that brass and that tinkling instrumental,

  723. you couple that drama with a band, put it with

  724. a piano and a bass guitar, and it makes something beautiful.

  725. You couple that ministry with a prayer life and a

  726. bird in a and a liar. It will be something

  727. beautiful and most effective. But it ain't a getting you

  728. into heaven, a none at all, And it ain't fool.

  729. I'm the preacher or the pastor when you check that

  730. box with no burden and no love for the lost,

  731. you're just out there so you don't women feel condemned.

  732. Shoot, Am I a win?

  733. Then voice, I'm gonna close here. Brother Jesse, come to

  734. the pan if you don't mind. Brother, Pure religion and

  735. undefiled before God and the Father James one twenty seven.

  736. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father?

  737. Is this.

  738. To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and

  739. to keep himself unspotted from the world. What is more important,

  740. brother Philip, to visit the widow and the fatherless? Or

  741. is it more important to keep yourself unspotted from the world?

  742. Can you do one without the other? First?

  743. John four and seven four seven and eight, Beloved, let

  744. us love one another, for love is of God. And

  745. anyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God.

  746. He that loveth not know if not.

  747. God, for God is love. You have work without love.

  748. You visit the fatherless and the widow without love, Brother Buford,

  749. It don't do us no good, but we go in there.

  750. See mister John Man, I love to see that guy.

  751. You see though your souls passing by that street, Coiner,

  752. some of you walk that bowl is superhanded to that

  753. person that's destitute and broken, and that heart of compassion

  754. reaches out and gives them a good old hug. That's

  755. pure religion, and it's undefiled. But you can have pure

  756. religion and it be defiled, and you can be defiled.

  757. You can be undefiled and have defiled religion. You can

  758. have a defiled exterior and a polluted interior, and you

  759. can have a clean interior seemingly and a polluted exterior.

  760. But I cannot say one is more important than the other.

  761. And they all love to come through here, those.

  762. They been.

  763. It's a hard isshoe well, bless God, obviously, But you're

  764. telling me one's more important than the other.

  765. No, they're both important.

  766. It's important you're unspotted from the world this morning, and

  767. it's important you have a heart for those destituting broken souls.

  768. Don't check a box without charity, don't check a box

  769. without charity. Don't God God a costume without charity. Headed

  770. There are two things that make up what is required.

  771. One without the other is one short, and two without one.

  772. Is just one and it takes both of them.

  773. Brother Philip, we started this by saying I'm important, and

  774. somebody looked at you and said I am too.

  775. We all are and equally in your life.

  776. There is a spiritual man and a physical man, and

  777. they are of both equal importance to God. Don't expect

  778. to drop your broken self in the altar with no

  779. desire for repentance, and expect the preacher to try to

  780. heal before he addresses spiritual issues. You will not be

  781. healed until after that your sins have been forgiven.

  782. Your feet will not be put back under you.

  783. Until you have been spiritually regenerated and the old man

  784. is washed away.

  785. You can come here for the next twenty years.

  786. Your God in your costume without regeneration, and you'll never

  787. be trusted or appointed even or assigned the due ease

  788. of God. When the Lord looks on the heart and say,

  789. as they're still broken, this and despair and despicable this

  790. and sin. There there's a term called half cocked them

  791. old revolvers. Brother, would you know them all revolvers that

  792. go off at half cock? They weren't supposed to go off.

  793. There's preachers that get in the poop at half cocked.

  794. What's more important having the message or having the prayer

  795. put into it so God blesses it. Brother Caleb, man

  796. I shoo, I got so convicted and stirred and pushed forward,

  797. and a man just just fired up and blessed all

  798. at the same time. What was more important Paul sitting

  799. in a damp prison cell and pinning the words, or

  800. was it more important that the Holy ghost moved on him?

  801. Because there was two things happening. Holy men moved on

  802. by the Holy ghost bended. They both mattered. Your holiness matters.

  803. Don't act.

  804. Don't expect me to act like God's moving.

  805. On you when you're not holy inside.

  806. Don't expect me to act like you've been annoyed the

  807. minister when there's no regeneration in your heart. Shoot and

  808. Annis and man you read on down there thirteen one

  809. instance thirteen. We just had heard a wonderful message. Abideth,

  810. these abide Annaeus came to God. What mattered the part

  811. they gave for the part they didn't. What seemed to

  812. take precedence was the part they held back. And it

  813. matters that you gave some, but it matters also that

  814. you give all. It matters that you look good, But

  815. it matters that your heart measures up. And it matters

  816. that your heart measures up and your exterior measures up.

  817. I feel repetitive, repetitive, but I could sick and tired

  818. of It's a heart issue, yeah, but it's also an

  819. exterior issue. Hebrews twelve and fourteen said, so two parts

  820. follow peace with all men. That's good, charismatic preacher, it's good,

  821. but you endeavor to follow peace with all men.

  822. But there are two things that are impointing, equally and holiness.

  823. Hey list them this morning, for I get carried away.

  824. I've been here long enough for you to get my point.

  825. What matters this morning? Does your works matter? Yeah, they do,

  826. but not more than your interior. Does your inferior matter?

  827. Yeah it does, But you better be showing your faith.

  828. Are your works? You better be coupling it with something.

  829. Pastor has told us that we must be a balanced Christian.

  830. Jesus addressed both issues.

  831. He began with the spiritual and addressed later the physical.

  832. Both are up for consideration. Let me say that again,

  833. and I will open the altars. Both are up for consideration.

  834. The preacher and the man of God is equally entitled

  835. to address Brother Samuel's spiritual state as he his is physical.

  836. In equal proportion.

  837. If you would expect pastor a man to address somebody

  838. to come in here looking like the world a man

  839. in the First Church of jessebel that tried to sing

  840. and their exterior testified they weren't holy to the same measure,

  841. that person that walks according to the lust of the

  842. flesh should expect in no less regard, with no less

  843. strict or passion and zeal to be addressed and say

  844. you've got heart issues, Nicodemus, you.

  845. Must be born again.

  846. Hey man, if you would close your eyes this morning,

  847. value heads. I know the Lord gave me this message,

  848. and I hope to God it made a man sense

  849. the way God would want it to. Pastors talk to

  850. us about those bodies of Christ.

  851. That are as if they are.

  852. If somebody that exercises the right side of their body

  853. and the left side remains weak, it becomes a freak

  854. of nature and a strange thing, a bulging right bicep

  855. and a whippy, loose hanging left bicep. Could you imagine, friend,

  856. your spiritual man is no less amen like this amen.

  857. It is the epitome of what you are, if you

  858. have a garb with no grace and no repentance, or

  859. if you profess grace, grace, grace, but there is no

  860. evident work of grace. So I opened these altars this

  861. morning to each and every one of us.

  862. Amen.

  863. And as Paul said, I strive, I endeavor one of

  864. you this morning. Do you endeavor in the spiritual as

  865. much as you do the physical? Do you endeavor in

  866. the physical as much as you do the spiritual?

  867. And could we come and pray this morning?

  868. God looks at you and knows you are not hiding

  869. who you are. God hasn't looked at your exterior, but

  870. he has sent message after message telling you that there

  871. is work yet needed in the interior. Man, prayer must

  872. be made without ceasing. These kind go not forth but

  873. by prayer and fasting. Of what benefit is prayer when

  874. there is no fasting? And what benefit is fasting when

  875. there is no prayer? God's word dictates the pooling partner

  876. for the need. So this morning we relinquish our will

  877. to him and say God, I say both matter, and

  878. I got to major in both of them.

  879. Amen. As they begin to sing praise God,
