  1. And I just thank you, Father God, for your grace,

  2. your mercy, your love, and your son that you've

  3. sent to die so that we could have life. We thank

  4. you for life. We thank you for counting us and

  5. considering us sons and daughters of yours. In

  6. your precious name, I pray the name above all

  7. names, y 'all say with me, Jesus. Amen, amen.

  8. Well, love on the person next to you. And I do,

  9. you know, today I'm on assignment to deliver

  10. a message that I don't know how much your flesh

  11. wants to hear this, but I know your spirit needs

  12. to hear it. And so, you know, I truly do appreciate

  13. our collective worship for singing songs that

  14. really get our minds in the right space and our

  15. hearts in the right space, right? Because I was

  16. gonna wait to tell you the title of this message

  17. until I read a few scriptures to it, but I think

  18. I can say it up front. And it is encouragement,

  19. it's meant to be encouraging. But it truly does

  20. take an understanding for these words to be encouraging

  21. But I'm speaking from the subject today of there

  22. is a crown there is a crown and Anybody who's

  23. been around church or are heard Especially any

  24. teachings from from Paul, you know, he always

  25. speaks about a crown And when he's talking about

  26. this crown, he's not speaking about something

  27. that you would receive on this side of heaven,

  28. but it's something that you will receive as you

  29. enter heaven. That, truthfully, there is a crown

  30. waiting for you that this world cannot give,

  31. this world cannot supply. But as believers, it's

  32. what truly keeps us going on, is when you're

  33. looking around and circumstances and people may

  34. not be... Hmm, may not be doing what you think

  35. they should be doing. That we're as a believer,

  36. we're as people of God, where do we get the stirring?

  37. Where do we get the joy? Where do we get the

  38. exeal to want to stay true to what we know we

  39. should be doing and how we should be living as

  40. believers when circumstances around us just aren't

  41. that encouraging to do so. Well Paul speaks of

  42. there being a crown because his hope is is that

  43. your valuing of God's reward at the end of it

  44. all Will cause you to move forward through life

  45. circumstances That you understand that there

  46. are certain things. I need you to tell your neighbor

  47. this looks a neighbor There are certain things

  48. That this world cannot reward you for doing.

  49. That there are, ask of us at times in our lives

  50. as believers that this world does not have the

  51. capacity to give you what is due you. And the

  52. sooner you realize that as a believer, the more

  53. you walk the walk of faith the way God will have

  54. you to walk it. Because you realize that there's

  55. nobody around me that can reward me for what

  56. is actually do me. But that's okay because there's

  57. a crown waiting on me. And even when horizontally

  58. people can't appreciate what I'm doing, before

  59. God, he sees me. He approves of what I'm doing.

  60. He sees my fight as worth it. He sees the sacrifices

  61. as sacrifices. You know, some people, you didn't

  62. sacrifice what you thought was sacrificially,

  63. should have been recognized. And they just don't

  64. have the capacity to be able to deliver the appreciation,

  65. do the level of sacrifice you personally felt.

  66. And it's important for us to realize as believers

  67. that even though they can't appreciate it, God

  68. still sees it and he values it. And look at your

  69. neighbor, tell them again, there is a crown.

  70. And just to give you guys this a little bit more

  71. on there, right? That Paul speaks of three different

  72. types of crowns, a crown of righteousness, right?

  73. for faithfulness, an imperishable crown. It speaks

  74. towards self -discipline and preservation and

  75. a crown of rejoicing. Speaking of people, one,

  76. that there is a crown of rejoicing. You win a

  77. soul towards God, that there is rejoicing in

  78. heaven, that there is a celebration plan. No

  79. one may have saw what you went through or how

  80. you sacrificed in order for someone to stay in

  81. love with God, but God saw. And there is a crown

  82. waiting for you because you know you practice

  83. the little patience, a little steadfastness,

  84. a little long suffering that you was weeping

  85. during the night. But when the lights turned

  86. on, you woke up with a holy excitement about

  87. the day. And nobody cared about your tears, but

  88. God saw them. And he said, there is a crown.

  89. And we can never forget that there is a crown.

  90. It's amazing right because we're in graduation

  91. season and so I don't know how many all been

  92. to some graduations recently You know and it's

  93. amazing right that that that you know in every

  94. graduation I noticed there's this moment where

  95. they're trying to get people to value ahead of

  96. time won't they what they cannot receive Until

  97. they spend some time getting there right that

  98. that we get to this graduation moment Here we

  99. are they're passing out the tassels They're putting

  100. on the little satchels and all of a sudden you

  101. realize maybe I should have paid a little bit

  102. more attention in school because I didn't realize

  103. that there was going to be a graduation. I didn't

  104. really think about my whole family was gonna

  105. be here and now your little nephews are asking

  106. why do some people get the ropes and you didn't?

  107. Well, there's There's nothing I can do today

  108. to get a rope. I needed to treat day one in mind

  109. of what graduation was going to look like. And

  110. if I would have went into high school, ninth

  111. grade, thinking about what graduation was going

  112. to be, I would have treated day one differently.

  113. Listen, when I was making the dumb decision,

  114. y 'all wasn't around me. Now that they're awarding

  115. people who made the right decision, all y 'all

  116. looking. What happened? That oftentimes many

  117. of us, I'm gonna talk about me, I wasn't one

  118. of the Tassel brothers. I didn't get very many

  119. accolades alongside my graduation. All my, all

  120. my, all my appreciation came from my family,

  121. not from my school of academic choice. And it

  122. was funny, we were laughing about the other day,

  123. you know, they were talking about playing the

  124. graduation party, but of course I went to the

  125. graduation, the rehearsal, and that's when it

  126. hit me, I think I should have tried harder because

  127. your brother is in the back of the line, you

  128. know. And some of my friends, they didn't even

  129. tell me they was working that hard. I'm looking

  130. at them. We was, before we walked into the rehearsal

  131. together, then they was giving out seat arrangements

  132. based upon accolades. And that's when my friends

  133. had a different section. Hey, how'd you get that?

  134. Man, I maintained a 3 .5 since ninth grade. The

  135. whole time? The whole time, you was... But what's

  136. amazing is I was at several high school graduations.

  137. they're motivating the kids to understand that

  138. you're going to a whole new world and There's

  139. going to be opportunities Check this out to make

  140. permanent decisions based on temporary circumstances

  141. and In the nice when you first get to college

  142. you might be tempted to make a lot of temporary

  143. decisions But once you graduate you're gonna

  144. have some permanent situations and so don't get

  145. too caught up in the Temporary choices Because

  146. there is a crown at the end that you're going

  147. to get And so as best as you can this is what

  148. they say surround yourself with people That can

  149. make sure that you don't make too many permanent

  150. decisions in temporary situations. Why are you

  151. saying this Pastor Brian? Because that is really

  152. the essence of what Paul is saying to us in Galatians

  153. 6 is that as believers we sometimes forget about

  154. the crown but collectively we can make sure that

  155. we remember there is a crown. And so that individually,

  156. we don't find ourselves making permanent decisions

  157. based on temporary circumstances. That one of

  158. the greatest benefits of godly community is they

  159. understand the rewards that come at the end.

  160. And even when we don't feel like it, Even when

  161. we don't want to, we stay committed to what is

  162. truly worth of the value. Y 'all rocking with

  163. me? I think y 'all good, so I could just jump

  164. right in here, right? Galatians 6 and 1 says

  165. this, right? It says, brothers, if anyone is

  166. caught in any transgression, You who are spiritual

  167. should restore him in the spirit of gentleness

  168. we talked about that last week So we're not going

  169. deep in there since keep watch on yourselves

  170. lease you to be tempted bear one another's burdens

  171. and so fulfill the law of Christ for if anyone

  172. thinks he is something when he is nothing he

  173. deceives himself and Paul is really speaking

  174. there of us operating in a spirit of humility

  175. in order for us to stay in community that you

  176. cannot be in community and maintain a prideful

  177. outlook that in order for community to work we

  178. must all be humble in how we approach others'

  179. lives and how we look at our own lives. But let

  180. each one test his own work and then in his reason

  181. to boast will be in himself alone and not in

  182. his neighbor. What is he saying there? He's saying

  183. that If you objectively and transparently look

  184. at your own life, you should be able to maintain

  185. the humility to live with others. That people

  186. who find it hard to be friendly are often people

  187. who haven't objectively or transparently or clearly

  188. looked at themselves. Because if you were to

  189. really examine yourself or test your own work

  190. You will find out that you should be thanking

  191. God that someone's still talking to you Not thinking

  192. you were too good to be around people who want

  193. to talk to you That if you truly examine yourself

  194. test your own work really look at you You should

  195. find enough humility To be humble enough and

  196. willing enough to Walk with others who may not

  197. be perfect Y 'all rocking with me For each will

  198. have to bear his own load right Let the one who

  199. is taught the word share all good things with

  200. the one who teaches. This is so good. And I'm

  201. gonna say this so that you guys understand, and

  202. I think it's important for you to see this, what

  203. Paul is wanting them to see. Many people, they

  204. hear this and they've heard this and they see

  205. it one way, right? That they're saying, oh man,

  206. whoever teaches right that you should be willing

  207. to to be friendly or generous towards who has

  208. taught you and people see this from a pulpit

  209. um congregant perspective but you can't take

  210. this passage out of context the context of this

  211. passage is paul is saying this are guidelines

  212. for how godly community works together And so

  213. he's not speaking of pastor to congregant relationship.

  214. He's speaking of from pew to pew relationship.

  215. Y 'all gotta rock with me. Y 'all rocking with

  216. pastor, right? And so when he's speaking of,

  217. I'll read to you again, just in case some of

  218. y 'all seem like y 'all missed it. Let the one

  219. who is taught the word share all good things

  220. with the one who teaches. What is he saying?

  221. Let the one that has received something good

  222. from God as a result of someone who shared that

  223. good with them be willing to share from the good

  224. they gained as a result of what they heard. Some

  225. of y 'all really need to hear this. This is so

  226. good right here. That Paul is wanting to, everything

  227. he's saying here, is wanting to make sure that

  228. we remain in impeccable, godly community. And

  229. he's speaking of something that many people violate

  230. that keeps godly community together. He's making

  231. it very plain that if someone, not just the preacher,

  232. but if someone Has come to you and has shared

  233. the word with you in a way That it produced good

  234. You should from the good that was produced so

  235. some back That if someone gave you some life

  236. -giving fruitful to your destiny Truth you should

  237. share from what you got From how you apply what

  238. they said Y 'all rocking with me now that he's

  239. not talking. This is community. He's saying that

  240. brothers and sisters The reason why it's so hard

  241. for us to carry each other's burdens, because

  242. we're also not willing to share each other's

  243. blessing. That we're not really operating how

  244. godly community is supposed to operate. That

  245. it should be an ecosystem of not only sharing

  246. burdens, but also sharing blessings. That if

  247. someone came to you and said, you know what?

  248. You shouldn't sell that house right now. That's

  249. a bad idea. So you choose to apply what you gained

  250. from that truth. This revel you you choose to

  251. apply it. And it turns out it was the best thing

  252. you could have did. Y 'all have to talk to me.

  253. OK. It's already enough that we have crowds waiting.

  254. in heaven so there's already a list of things

  255. that you are never going to see the benefit of

  256. this side of heaven but as a community we should

  257. help each other stay doing good amongst each

  258. other Because he gets he ends if some of y 'all

  259. know where he ends he says don't get weary of

  260. a Well -doing don't get weary of doing good because

  261. he's saying yeah guys people grow weary because

  262. we're not existing how we should That there should

  263. be a Sharing amongst each other. I told y 'all

  264. from the get -go. This may not be the one your

  265. flesh wants to hear But I hope you understand

  266. I'm not talking about you sowing to pass the

  267. brine I'm talking about you appreciating that

  268. top five I'm talking about you making sure that

  269. the people who are part of your top five are

  270. excited about being in your top five and Paul

  271. is making it very clear that as they are sharing

  272. what's good You should be willing to share from

  273. what you gain from that good that many times

  274. we grow weary in doing good because the people

  275. we doing good for aren't sharing from the good

  276. they got from the good you did. Is that all right

  277. with y 'all? This is this is Paul, not Pastor

  278. Brian. Don't get mad at me. Don't be upset with

  279. me. This is the stuff the people wanted to tell

  280. you that they told you it wasn't that they was

  281. done talking to you. They was done with the lack

  282. of appreciation from the talks. They had no problem

  283. staying up to midnight one time two times three

  284. times four times, but the fifth time My brother

  285. has this brought any good Because I'm getting

  286. tired can we talk I'm getting tired of these

  287. midnight conversations and no understanding or

  288. group participation in the good of the conversation.

  289. Some y 'all reading it's like do I owe some fuck

  290. some stuff all of us? Oh some folks some stuff

  291. and some people owe us some stuff. We all know

  292. everybody something We all are like, oh lord

  293. You owe somebody some stuff some people owe you

  294. some stuff there's some stuff you bear They should

  295. be caring some stuff. They care and you should

  296. be bearing. This is what he's trying to get us

  297. to see He says, check this out. God is not mocked.

  298. And I tell you, man, Galatians 6 on the onset,

  299. if you don't continue to remember the context,

  300. can seem like just a bunch of jumbled thoughts

  301. from Paul. Paul goes straight out of telling

  302. you, you should share the good things with those

  303. who taught you good things. To do not be deceived.

  304. God is not mocked. not mocked for whatever one

  305. sows that will he also reap. Now, Paul in this

  306. context, y 'all never say context, I know I said

  307. it a hundred times because I need to keep y 'all

  308. in context, he's still speaking about being willing

  309. to bear one another's burdens. He's still wanting

  310. us to grow in pursuing Godly community. Why am

  311. I saying this? Because you have to appropriate

  312. what type of seed and harvest time he's speaking

  313. of. He's not speaking of your financial increase.

  314. He's not saying keep doing good because the people

  315. you do good for owe you a percentage. And the

  316. more good you do, the percentage will stack up

  317. and then here you go. You're super blessed because

  318. you did all the good. No. Y 'all all right? What

  319. he's wanting us to do as mature believers say

  320. neighbor today you a mature believer As mature

  321. believers he's wanting us to continue to remain

  322. Excited about the work. That's a part of being

  323. in godly community and he's wanting us to understand

  324. that God is not mocked Whatever one sows they

  325. shall also reap and he's speaking about seeds

  326. of the flesh and seeds of the spirit That you

  327. have to realize that if you see a brother or

  328. sister a part of the faith family sowing seeds

  329. of the flesh God is not mocked. They are going

  330. to receive a harvest of the flesh and That should

  331. be a reason why You're not okay with believers

  332. doing things that aren't okay. Because God is

  333. not mocked. It's not okay just to ignore somebody

  334. doing something that they should not be doing.

  335. Because God is not mocked. He won't be mocked.

  336. That if you see a brother or sister in faith,

  337. you of maturity should know there's going to

  338. be a harvest to the things you're doing. You

  339. may not realize right now that there's going

  340. to be a harvest to the things you're doing But

  341. as a mature believer, I know God is not mocked

  342. there is going to be something of Not of good

  343. that's going to come from the behavior you consistently

  344. stick to And he's wanting to stir us up to realize

  345. yes, you may not want to bear the burdens of

  346. others, but because you're mature, you should

  347. know, man, I cannot be okay watching my brother

  348. and sister chart a course towards destruction.

  349. There is no other way around this you will reap

  350. What you sow you sow of the flesh you shall reap

  351. of the flesh God will not be mocked get this

  352. through your mature head if they look like they're

  353. heading towards destruction Guess what's gonna

  354. happen? And he's saying this to mature believers.

  355. Why are you saying this Pastor Brian? Because

  356. we should already have a balanced understanding

  357. that yes, there is the grace of God. Yes, there

  358. is repentance. Yes, there is a moment where God

  359. can do the unimaginable miraculous thing in someone's

  360. life. But how do we operate in community? We

  361. don't operate community giving one another passes.

  362. We don't operate in community taking the grace

  363. of God for vain. We operate in community realizing

  364. the urgency is matching the truthfulness that

  365. God won't be mocked. Y 'all alright? Boy, sometimes

  366. I don't know if y 'all gonna kick me out or fire

  367. me after a message, but either way, This is the

  368. truth He sows to his flesh will from the flesh

  369. reap what church Y 'all be slow to read them

  370. parts We'll say it again collectively for the

  371. one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh

  372. reap corruption But the one who sows To the spirit

  373. will from the spirit read what church? So he's

  374. saying listen With that understanding we should

  375. have a tenacity a willingness a zeal and excitement

  376. About not being dismissive But about being involved

  377. with one another's lives That we should have

  378. a love and a compassion For one another in such

  379. a way that when I see you going in the wrong

  380. direction I'm not going to put on rose -colored

  381. glasses and act like you are going to end up

  382. in a good place No, I'm going to take on the

  383. the work of Christ and Make sure you understand

  384. That first off you weren't designed to be able

  385. to understand or do all this alone That there

  386. are things that you can become blind to y 'all

  387. alright When the Bible speaks about someone being

  388. dead in sin is speaking about them not having

  389. any type of emotional, physical, or mental understanding

  390. to the actual weight of what they're doing. Like

  391. you're dead in sin. That means that you are in

  392. a perpetual cycle of sinning that you're unaware

  393. of the actual harm of what you're doing. You're

  394. dead. in sin, which means that you are even sensitive

  395. to or aware of the ramifications or the harm

  396. your activity is actually producing. And there

  397. are there are believers who are actually dead

  398. in sin. That they have. continue the behavior

  399. for such length of time that they are unaware

  400. of the harm the behavior is causing. And that

  401. we as mature believers cannot be taking a perspective

  402. that people are aware of the weight of what they're

  403. doing. Because some people are actually dead

  404. in sin. They're not fully aware of the ramifications.

  405. Because they have become numb in the activity

  406. Amen I'm just trying to find a supportive eye

  407. in the house So you'd be like man, I just want

  408. to go to a church where they talk about sin.

  409. Well, hello Today's that day But understand this,

  410. and this is the reason why it's so appropriate

  411. to talk about this conversation in this way,

  412. to talk about the subject of sin in this way,

  413. because here is the truth. None of us were actually

  414. made or designed to overcome it by ourselves.

  415. And so we heard what not to do, but we weren't

  416. taught how to get out of what we weren't doing.

  417. That we actually took on bearing the weight ourselves,

  418. not realizing that we were called to bear the

  419. weight for one another. And so we got the reality

  420. that sin is bad without the truth of how good

  421. community is that helps you while you find yourself

  422. weighed in it. That truthfully and godly community

  423. we bear the weight for one another Sometimes

  424. my hand be up by myself and I'll just be hoping

  425. somebody else raises it with me and And realizing

  426. that man some some of us are so burdened down.

  427. Not because we, what's the best way to say this?

  428. One of the things that I enjoy most about counseling,

  429. and when I'm counseling somebody, is because

  430. I have counseled a lot of people, I have a bearing

  431. point on what is normal. And one of the greatest

  432. moments that happened in any counseling session

  433. I have with anybody is I have the ability to

  434. tell them what is normal. They come in thinking,

  435. I'm the only person on planet Earth that has

  436. ever faced this, that is struggling with this,

  437. that can't overcome this. They come in thinking

  438. that I am failing because I haven't been able

  439. to fix this on my own. I haven't been able to

  440. overcome this on my own. And as they start to

  441. talk, like a joy rises up in front of me. Because

  442. I realize you don't realize how good you're doing

  443. and they say what do you mean pastor? The people

  444. that's doing really bad are the people that already

  445. have they haven't even made it to this room yet

  446. First of all, you are ahead of the game and the

  447. fact you finally realize I shouldn't be carrying

  448. this on my own Because there's a lot of brothers

  449. and sisters. They are buried under the weight

  450. of being alone in what that is. And here's the

  451. problem. Then I get to the second part. And I

  452. said, you know, it's amazing. And depending on

  453. the situation, sometimes there's things in my

  454. own personal life that actually I'd be like,

  455. you know, boy, I've been trying to get over that

  456. too. And they look back at me. What'd you say

  457. pastor? What I said was, what you are going through

  458. isn't unique. That there are cyclical issues.

  459. That there are things that will hit your front

  460. door every time God's trying to take you to another

  461. place. And so some of the issues you think are

  462. you issues? No, no, no, no, no, they're growth

  463. issues Let me help you out every time God is

  464. about to take my life to another level division

  465. amongst those I love breaks out All the sudden

  466. I'm very clear about what next is y 'all know

  467. what that next phone call be I'm just tired of

  468. such -and -such they always doing such -and -such

  469. and the such -and -such of this and I have to

  470. Understand that this is cyclical that the devil

  471. is always trying to steal kill and destroy So

  472. he's going to try to bring division anytime unity

  473. is necessary So they walk into my office and

  474. they said my mama's saying this and my grandma

  475. attacking me now, too Which is she's never attacked

  476. me. My wife is acting like this My kids is doing

  477. this and I look right back at him. I said, but

  478. what is God doing? Because there's certain battles

  479. and I talked to the men about this on Thursday.

  480. I said there's certain battles. You got to realize

  481. Perseverance is the only answer Perseverance

  482. is the only response. There's certain battles

  483. that don't respond in the pivot They don't respond

  484. in the change of plans that you got to be able

  485. to discern what God is doing Y 'all rocking with

  486. me they came in there trying to fix people you

  487. can't fix nobody But God will give you the perseverance

  488. to survive everybody And if we can lock in on

  489. what God is doing They came here to try to figure

  490. out how to overcome the issue and I'm like no

  491. we gonna we gonna we gonna break the dust off

  492. of what God is doing in this We just got to see

  493. him clearly Y 'all rocking with me. But one of

  494. the things that I love the most is for people

  495. to really be able to have the right perspective

  496. on what's going on. The majority of our issues

  497. are perspective issues. And I can tell them,

  498. you know, I hear what you're saying. And you're

  499. right. Man, we don't want this. So we're gonna

  500. pray about this. But I need you to hear this.

  501. This ain't uncommon. Boy, I really wanted to

  502. get to the end of this. Let me give you this

  503. and we'll continue next week. That's all right

  504. with y 'all? But I wanted to make something just

  505. extremely clear so that you guys hear this. What

  506. is the expectation of Christian community? It's

  507. where burdens are carried, truth is practiced,

  508. character is refined, and wounds are restored.

  509. that when we speak of godly community, we should

  510. be experiencing burdens being carried collectively.

  511. That I don't feel the weight of the world is

  512. simply on my shoulders, but I'm in this community

  513. to where there's transparency, there's honesty,

  514. and we're helping carry each other's weight.

  515. Truth is practice, right? are looking to find

  516. the truth and be truthful and apply truth to

  517. our lives. Like what does God say about what's

  518. happening here? It's where character is refined,

  519. right? Where who you are consistently matters

  520. and that people are there making sure that you're

  521. remaining consistent in what you do. Making sure

  522. that your name doesn't become evil spoken of.

  523. Making sure that you're seeing beyond that temporary

  524. circumstance and you're not making permanent

  525. decisions in storms that are gonna go away. Reminding

  526. you that there is a crown. I know your wife ain't

  527. giving it to you right now, your husband ain't

  528. giving it to you right now, your kids ain't giving

  529. it to you right now, your boss ain't giving it

  530. to you right now. Nobody's recognizing it. We're

  531. not going to hear sit here and have a pity party

  532. about who should be honoring you when God has

  533. a crown for you But biblical community isn't

  534. just celebration its shared responsibility Y

  535. 'all alright Because I think I can in this But

  536. is it and let us not grow weary of doing good

  537. For in due season we will reap if we do not give

  538. up he's speaking of a commitment to sowing spiritual

  539. seeds and Spiritual when he speaks of spiritual

  540. seeds He's speaking of following the direction

  541. of the spirit that every time the Holy Spirit

  542. speaks to us and we respond to the direction

  543. of the Spirit, we're sowing spiritual seeds.

  544. That every time the Holy Spirit speaks and you

  545. obey, a seed is being sown and a harvest is to

  546. come. And so in biblical community, we drive

  547. each other, we push each other to sow spiritual

  548. seeds because we know God cannot be mocked. Whatsoever

  549. a man sow, he shall also reap. And so I understand

  550. that even when we don't know what to do, it doesn't

  551. mean we don't have a seed we can plant. That

  552. biblical community understands that listen man,

  553. I know you were lost. I know you don't know what

  554. to do, but it doesn't mean we don't have a seed

  555. we can sow. That we can sow something of spiritual

  556. significance and reach a spiritual Harvest. Look

  557. at your neighbor. I ain't even had y 'all talk

  558. to each other that much today. Say neighbor,

  559. you may not always know what to do, but that

  560. doesn't mean there isn't something good you can

  561. sow. Right and biblical community drives you

  562. it pushes you stirs you up to so good seeds They

  563. just cuts me out forgive them why it's a good

  564. seed They they stole it from me just give it

  565. to him why it's a good seed No, I want to go

  566. That sounds like a seed of the flesh and God

  567. won't be mocked whatsoever you sow you shall

  568. also reap that your sound like you're about to

  569. go sow something of the flesh and I don't know

  570. why you think you can sow something in the flesh

  571. and not reap over a Harvest of the flesh It's

  572. gonna feel good to what your feelings and your

  573. flesh just know that the you sowed in the wrong

  574. direction They don't deserve forgiveness. Well,

  575. do you want a harvest of forgiveness or their

  576. approval of what you do? I'm going so to see

  577. And let us not grow weary of doing good foreign

  578. deuce season we will reap if we do not give up

  579. So then as we have opportunity Let us do good

  580. So it's often, look at this, look at these words.

  581. So as often, let us do good to who? Listen, as

  582. often as you can, do good to everyone. And I

  583. love this. I love this because then Paul keeps

  584. talking. Especially to those who are of the household

  585. of faith, which makes you have to think who was

  586. the first everyone. He's not just talking about

  587. doing good to those who do you good. He ain't

  588. even talking about just doing good to people

  589. who are on the same team as you He's not even

  590. just speaking about those who share in your faith.

  591. No, he's saying do good to everyone And just

  592. unpack that because oftentimes people get saved

  593. as a result of a spiritual seed being sown So

  594. yeah, they may have been cussing you out and

  595. they deserve to be cussed out But you who understand

  596. that sowing seeds of the flesh is gonna reap

  597. of the flesh You make a decision to sow a spiritual

  598. seed and you say they cussed you out you say

  599. my brother We really shouldn't converse with

  600. each other on levels of language like that, you

  601. know, you you go roaming on them You know what

  602. I'm saying? You go you change your personality

  603. some y 'all need on need a new look at them say

  604. you need a new alter ego and It's the nice version

  605. of you You know I'm saying that like if your

  606. name is, you know, if your name is Bobby, there's

  607. a version of you called Charles and sometimes

  608. you gotta call on Charles. Somebody cuss you

  609. out, Charles. I need you right now, Charles.

  610. Listen, my brother, please. We do not have to

  611. come to language as low as this, you know, and

  612. give them an accent. Have fun with the righteous,

  613. you know? What are you saying, Pastor Brian?

  614. I'm saying that so you sow that spiritual seed

  615. of forgiveness and you sow that spiritual seed

  616. of patience and long suffering and that seed

  617. that was sown into that unbeliever's life years

  618. later, he sows, reaps a harvest of them giving

  619. their lives to Christ as a result of the seed

  620. you sowed. That's why it says everyone, we can't

  621. take any interaction for granted. that we always

  622. have an opportunity to so win. We always have

  623. an opportunity to win people towards Christ and

  624. it's in the interactions we have, the actions

  625. we take, the words we take, our responses, but

  626. just do it as best as you can. Just do good to

  627. everybody. But please, please. There's some of

  628. us that are in this church that are part of a

  629. household of faith. Please do good to one another.

  630. We need one another. We need to do good to one

  631. another as often as we can. That's hilarious,

  632. Lord Jesus. I'm packing up my stuff. But The

  633. reality is we are in this world but not of this

  634. world and I want to say this but I want you to

  635. hear from the right context This isn't easy and

  636. so we need to do good for one another understanding

  637. that we have as believers picked up a mandate

  638. that is large and so we need the encouragement

  639. of one another we need the transparency of one

  640. another we need to sow into one another because

  641. it's not easy for anybody and I really hope and

  642. pray that you're hearing the Spirit of God of

  643. all of this and all of this. And if you have

  644. been just facing life and life has seemed so

  645. much to bear, I pray that you're hearing the

  646. Spirit of God to realize for many of us, our

  647. next step, isn't to simply gird ourselves up,

  648. but to find others that will keep us up once

  649. we get stirred up. That the truth of the matter

  650. is we've forsaken the need of godly community.

  651. We've underscored the value of it and we've treated

  652. it like it was optional. when it's truthfully

  653. critical that you find yourself surrounded by

  654. people. And I tell people this, I'm not saying

  655. to kick people out, but there are some people

  656. you need to reorganize. I'm not kicking you out,

  657. I'm just reorganizing because I realize. I've

  658. been trying to do this by myself. Y 'all all

  659. right? Well, hey, man. If you guys enjoyed service

  660. today, give God some praise. I feel done. Mom,

  661. you can close us out. I know. Come on up. You

  662. know. Y 'all welcome Pastor Deborah to the stage.

  663. She's gonna close us out. You close us out, mama.

  664. Thank you. If there's anyone here today. She's

  665. gonna bear my burden real quick, you know. If

  666. there's anyone here today who's not born again

  667. don't know Jesus is Lord of their lives. This

  668. is an awesome opportunity for you God has been

  669. waiting for this moment You made a decision that

  670. I want to know God. I want a personal relationship

  671. with him Well, God has been waiting for this

  672. moment for you and it's very very simple God

  673. says that if we just believe or accept the gift

  674. of Jesus Christ Jesus came he died for us He

  675. paid for our sins. And so therefore it leaves

  676. a clear road and path to God where you can actually

  677. hear from him. He'll talk to you. And again,

  678. he just wants to express his genuine love towards

  679. you. So if that's you today, if you'll raise

  680. your hands wherever you are. And of course, those

  681. who are online, if you will just type in the

  682. chat that I want to be born again. I want to

  683. be saved. I want to have this relationship with

  684. God. Amen. And so we're just going to repeat

  685. this prayer. If you would repeat after me, God,

  686. thank you for the invitation to know you. I accept

  687. the gift of Jesus Christ, his death. paying for

  688. my sins. Thank you Lord for receiving me. Amen.

  689. Amen. Praise God. Hallelujah. Again, for those

  690. of you who didn't want to raise your hand, but

  691. that's the confession that you made. If you will

  692. please meet us in the room to your left as you

  693. exit the first room. We'd like to tell you a

  694. little bit more about the decision that you've

  695. made. And for those of you who are online, if

  696. you would also please type in the chat that I

  697. made this decision. Someone from my church will

  698. get in contact with you to again help you understand

  699. the decision that you just made. And of course,

  700. If you get born again, you need to be in a church.

  701. We were just talking about community, the fact

  702. that we need one another to keep each other strong,

  703. to stir one another up. And so community starts

  704. when you become a part of a church, of a local

  705. church. And I'm saying a local church, but we

  706. actually have members who are not. here in this

  707. state, but if God has laid upon your heart to

  708. join Revealing Truth Ministries, this is an awesome

  709. opportunity for you and for us, because I believe

  710. that you have something that God has put on the

  711. inside of you that's good for this ministry and

  712. the vision that God has called us to fulfill.

  713. Also, I believe that we have something for you.

  714. We can help you to make spiritual progress. Again,

  715. you need community in order to live this life.

  716. God did not intend for us to live it alone. So

  717. do we have anyone who God has laid upon your

  718. heart to join revealing truth ministries this

  719. morning if you'll please raise your hands and

  720. of course those who are online, please type that

  721. in the chat and we'd like to get with you and

  722. If you're making that decision First room to

  723. your left. You'll find people there who will

  724. greet you with open arms and Talk to you about

  725. what that means. Amen All righty did and now

  726. we'll receive this morning's offerings. Hope

  727. you're excited about that Hey, man, the Bible

  728. tells us that God wants a person who's willing

  729. to do things not people who are forced into doing

  730. things But it's I want to do this. This is my

  731. desire this is a thing that I believe that God

  732. wants me to participate in because you know God

  733. is a generous God and he expects for his people

  734. to emulate who he is. So you be generous. Generosity

  735. comes from you personally. No one tells you how

  736. to be generous. That is a personal decision between

  737. you and God and the Holy Spirit. So we ask you

  738. to please respond to the Spirit of God on the

  739. inside of you knowing that God loves a cheerful

  740. giver. He said that I'm willing to give so that

  741. you may have to give. I'll multiply you so you

  742. may have to give. He said in every good work

  743. and charitable donation. Isn't that great? We

  744. are learning about community. It doesn't mean

  745. that you just bring it into the church. You bring

  746. it into the church, of course, because we're,

  747. you know, serving a lot of people, but you also

  748. are sensitive to other people that are around

  749. you. Every good work in charitable donation.

  750. How many of you want to be in a place where,

  751. you know, I actually can give into every, every

  752. good work? Have you ever been in a position where

  753. you wanted to be able to give to someone or into

  754. something and you just didn't seem to have it?

  755. Well, God said, I want you to bring you to a

  756. place where you're able to fulfill that desire

  757. that you have. Amen. Amen. So on the screens,

  758. you'll find the different ways and methods that

  759. you can give. Please take advantage of those.

  760. And amen. If you need an envelope, there are

  761. ushers in the aisles. They'll be happy to assist

  762. you if that's how you're giving. Amen. Give you

  763. opportunity And as you give if you'll stand to

  764. your feet I want to give everyone opportunity

  765. to do what God has put on their hearts to do.

  766. Amen. And if you would please lift your hands

  767. now and repeat after me. Now unto him that is

  768. able to keep me from falling and present me faultless

  769. before the presence of his glory with exceeding

  770. joy to the only wise God our savior be glory

  771. majesty, dominion, and power both now and forever.

  772. Amen. Amen.
