How y 'all doing? Shouts out to Collective Worship,
-
right? I was like, you know, today's message,
-
we're coming out of Ezekiel, so we got to speak
-
about some dry bones living. And so if you're
-
ready to speak to some dry bones, just give the
-
Lord a shout of praise in the house. Look at
-
your neighbor and say, look, find you a good
-
neighbor. Find you a good neighbor and say, hey,
-
neighbor. Say open up that grave I'm coming now.
-
I'm gonna live live live again Well, I'm incredibly
-
grateful to be here with you this morning you
-
guys sound amazing and so I'm gonna get into
-
the word, you know, we've been declaring it all
-
year long that there will be what? New life.
-
And we're going from graves to glory. That's
-
the story that when we speak about resurrection
-
power, it's acknowledging that even if it's dead,
-
if God didn't say it's done, it's not over yet.
-
And we're going to speak to those things and
-
those dry bones are going to come alive again.
-
You know, in this sermon series, I had a time
-
last Sunday. Y 'all had a time last Sunday, and
-
it was about us not running away from the places
-
God has called us and declared us to be. But
-
no, here is home, and these dry bones are gonna
-
live. We're gonna speak to the situations and
-
watch God move. Y 'all ready to speak to some
-
things? Well, amen. Father God, I thank you for
-
today and I thank you for this opportunity to
-
come and to minister to your people. I pray that
-
today we feel a fresh outpouring of your spirit.
-
I pray that today we leave here stirred up, encouraged,
-
and on fire for you, Father God. I pray that
-
all crooked ways are being made straight. I pray
-
that light is shining into darkness. I pray that
-
your wisdom is invading all just information.
-
And I pray that you are ruling and reigning in
-
every area of our lives. We take this moment
-
to lift you up, acknowledge you, and ask you,
-
God, to lead and guide us as we open up your
-
word, for your spirit to illuminate the truth
-
you have for us today. And we just thank you,
-
God, for being such an incredible, loving God
-
that we can read this word today and receive
-
it as ours, not because we've been good, because
-
you're just that. good thank you for thank you
-
for inviting us into these precious promises
-
we we are grateful that you loved us so much
-
that you set us up from victory that we are not
-
living to fight for victory we're living from
-
victory that we are in christ jesus we have already
-
overcome and we will spend the rest of our days
-
right expecting good good The Bible tells us
-
that I would have fainted had I stopped believing
-
that I would experience the goodness of the Lord
-
right here in the land of the living well father
-
God we will not faint but we will continue to
-
believe that we will see the goodness of the
-
Lord right here in the land of the living In
-
your precious name, I pray the name above all
-
names y 'all say with me Jesus Amen We'll turn
-
to Ezekiel chapter 37. We'll be there today.
Ezekiel 37 chapter mention
-
The title of my message is speak to it again.
-
Speak to it again. You know, speak to it again.
-
And none of us are absent from having to, you
-
know, speak life to situations that have no life
-
in them. You know, I know God wouldn't have brought
-
this word to our church if there wasn't going
-
to be opportunity to use it and So many of us
-
have come face to face to the very thing that
-
you know May have sounded strange in January
-
that we're speaking new life and we're going
-
from grace to glory What are you talking about
-
pastor? But I think many of y 'all have vivid
-
Image of exactly what needs new life right now
-
And so we know that God has been with us and
-
he has truth for us and it's not the time to
-
lose heart, cave in or quit, but time to stand
-
firm on what he's been building this whole year
-
that we will speak to the things that aren't
-
looking like there's much life, but declare that
-
it's going from, look at him say, it's going
-
from graves to glory. Graves to glory. And so
-
we took another step in that right in this Hear
-
His Home series. It's more than a sermon title.
-
It's truthfully a declaration. It's an intent
-
to say, you know what, this is home. And there
-
will be, last we talked about, there will be
-
order in this house that this will be what God
-
says it's going to be. And so now we get to start
-
the journey of going through, to every promise
-
there's a path. So we get to talk about the path
-
to seeing, to seeing things. raise up from the
-
dead to seeing new life come and you know that
-
is what I'm incredibly excited about today because
-
Ezekiel 37 is planted in the moment where it
-
was death all around yet and still God called
-
the prophet at that time to speak life to what
-
was dead. So y 'all ready? Amen and I want to
-
say this up front and you know, it's important
-
for us to realize this right Proverbs 29 and
-
18 says right where there is no vision the people
-
perish right and it's letting us know that there
-
is divine revelation that there is Insight we
-
talked about last week wisdom from God for people
-
to actually live that it's not just simple desire
-
that we have, but it's important that there's
-
vision present for life to come back. That there
-
must be a vision. from God, that breaks down
-
there is a redemptive revelation from God for
-
life to come again. What does this mean? We're
-
not asking for life to come so that we can have
-
our own needs met. We're not asking for life
-
to come so that we can get our own desires met,
-
but we're asking for life to come back to dead
-
things so God's will can be performed. That it's
-
not about me, it's about what God wants to have
-
happen. A lot of things have found their place
-
in to drive places and dead places because we've
-
been serving it selfishly we've been we've been
-
Stewarding it selfishly and so a lot of things
-
are dead on purpose so that now we can be resurrected
-
in the life God intended for it to have and So
-
when we talk about speaking and we talk about
-
Life and we talk about resurrection talk about
-
graves to glory It's important for us to realize
-
that vision vision wisdom is the first step in
-
that process y 'all rocking with me Verse 37
-
starting at verse will chapter 37 started verse
-
1 it says the hand of the Lord was upon me He
-
brought me out in the spirit of the Lord and
-
set me down in the middle of the valley It was
-
full of bones and he led me around Among them
-
and behold there were many very many on the surface
-
of the valley and behold they were very very
-
Dry and what is Ezekiel? I'm speaking of at this
-
moment God Has Ezekiel in a visionary dream right
-
that this is a visionary dream that um God took
-
Ezekiel in this moment and he had him view Through
-
a vision through a dream. I'm just want to make
-
sure this wasn't something he physically saw
-
This is a moment that was in the dream and in
-
this dream He took him to a valley and this valley
-
was filled with bones, but not just bones very
-
dry bones. The reason for it's important for
-
us to realize that this was a visionary dream
-
because every layer of what he's seeing actually
-
has death to what was happening at that time.
-
So at this moment, the reason why he's in a valley,
-
right, a valley season, not a mountaintop season,
-
because the people of Israel at that moment were
-
not succeeding. They were in a valley. They were
-
in between two places, right, of victory. You
-
know, mountaintops represent victory when we
-
read them in the Bible. Valleys represent. fight,
-
struggle, where we walk through the valley of
-
the shadow of death. I shall what? Fear no evil.
-
So when it's speaking of valleys, they're in
-
between two things. It's not a good place, but
-
it's a place that God is still with them. And
-
that's important for us to realize as believers
-
that even though you're in a valley, God is with
-
us in valleys as well. God doesn't retreat from
-
valleys. Oftentimes like Ezekiel, he visits us
-
in the valley. Oh, that's such a good thing for
-
y 'all to realize that God doesn't wait to visit
-
you on the mountaintops. He's the God who comes
-
in the valley. And so Zeke, God's showing him
-
this like, no, I'm the God of the valley too.
-
And so he's showing him through the valley and
-
he says the drone, the bones were very, very
-
dry. And what he's alluding to is that now it
-
wasn't that they were were barely, barely without
-
life. They were. dead and gone and When you look
-
through it those very dry bones actually represent
-
the the the Attitude of the people that represented
-
their outlook that they were not just without
-
hope that they were Hopeless they had no thought
-
that anything good could happen at all. They
-
were very dry bones y 'all rocking And he said
-
to me, son of man, can these bones live? This
-
is such an incredible question that's being asked.
-
So now you have this moment, God has taken Ezekiel
-
the prophet through dream into this moment where
-
he's given him an understanding of what he's
-
about to do. And in this dream, he asked him
-
a question, can these dry bones live? That is
-
a question that many of us have to answer today
-
Concerning whatever dry bones we're looking at
-
Is do you believe they can live What's amazing
-
about this is God already knows what he's about
-
to do God's will isn't dependent upon Ezekiel's
-
response to the question that God has already
-
ordered and orchestrated for life to come. The
-
question is, are you gonna co -sign on what's
-
already been predetermined? Are you gonna allow
-
yourself to change your perspective and align
-
it up with God's able to do? He was asking him
-
a question not to get permission to do something.
-
He was asking him a question so that he can align
-
himself with God's plan. Amen. Oftentimes we
-
get that same question from the people around
-
us, do you think it can change? You gotta remind
-
yourself, it ain't what I think can happen, it's
-
what God wants that's going to happen. Like I
-
don't think you realize that there are places
-
in our life that are above our pay grade. And
-
so it's not about what I want what I wanted left
-
a long time ago Well, I desire ain't been around
-
for a good little minute But I've been choosing
-
to serve to the will of my father for quite some
-
time So if it if it be his will let these dry
-
bones live Y 'all hear what he's saying That
-
he's trying to he's trying to wake him up Look
-
at your neighbor, hear your neighbor say, wake
-
up! He says, so, son of man, can these dry bones
-
live? And I answer, oh, Lord God, you know. Then
-
he said to me, prophesy over these bones and
-
say to them, Old dry bones hear the word of the
-
Lord. And so he's sitting in the middle. Once
-
again, this is a visionary dream and he's in
-
this valley and these bones are there. They actually
-
represent the people of Israel, their outlook,
-
their disposition, how they feel about what's
-
going on. And the one of the reasons why they
-
were very dry is this actually is a moment after
-
judgment had came. And so they were in a moment
-
of judgment. God had judged them. They had been
-
defeated by the Babylonians. So it wasn't just
-
a theoretical defeat. It was an actual defeat.
-
That they had been defeated. They had sinned.
-
They had fallen out of line with God. Everything
-
they had were. intended to do. They had not did.
-
And it just was a very, very druid scene. And
-
right there, he asked Ezekiel to speak to the
-
bones to hear the word of the Lord. What I love
-
so much about this is although God doesn't need
-
Ezekiel to speak in order to do what he's going
-
to do. He involves Ezekiel because God loves
-
for us to respond to dead situations. That he's
-
asking him to speak to it, not because he needs
-
his words in order to perform, but in the process
-
of him performing, he's reshaping his outlook.
-
He's reshaping his attitude. He's reshaping how
-
he view things. He's remaking his what he thinks
-
is possible That he's asking him to speak because
-
when you start to speak there's something on
-
the inside of you that starts to change That
-
when you allow your your words to align with
-
God's will it starts to it starts to change you
-
on the inside Right that Satan loves for you
-
to stay silent because in the silence you can
-
hide But when you start to open up your mouth,
-
you get a little more confidence. And so he's
-
telling me, you're going to need to speak the
-
word of the Lord to these dry bones. Why are
-
you saying this, Pastor Brian? Because one thing
-
we have to realize about where we are in our
-
situations, sometimes Satan will have you thinking
-
that your speech is irrelevant. But sometimes,
-
I love what my mama said, sometimes you got to
-
talk to yourself. Talk to yourself. I'm gonna
-
I'm gonna do it. She be doing she be doing it
-
so well, but Brian hear the word of the Lord
-
This shall live and it shall not die I Love what
-
she says. I said Deborah get yourself together
-
Sometimes you got to get yourself together you
-
have to speak to yourself About what God has
-
shown you what God said is going to be and God
-
said they shall live and not die So dry bones
-
hear the word of the Lord It was an exercise
-
of a dream because he had this dream, but he
-
would have to physically go out and do it So
-
in this moment God is taking him on this vision
-
Giving him the confidence through this vision
-
to do what he was gonna actually have to do in
-
reality Y 'all rocking with me. Whoo He says
-
that says the Lord to these dry bones Behold
-
I will cause breath to enter you and you shall
-
live and I will lay sinews upon you and will
-
cause flesh to come upon you and I will cover
-
you with skin and put breath in you and you shall
-
live and you shall know that I am the Lord so
-
right he's sitting here and what he's doing is
-
is he's prophesying what God said before what
-
happened even occurred that he's answering this
-
question of can these dry bones live in chapter
-
36 God breaks a covenant says these are my people
-
they shall live and not die. That's what chapter
-
36 covered. Well, by time chapter 37 rolls around,
-
these folks has lost all they hope. And he say,
-
no, no, no, I've already spoken what is going
-
to be. Dry bones, you hear the word of the Lord.
-
Y 'all hear what he's saying, that he's using
-
the word of God to declare in a dead situation
-
what God has already said. There's a way I like
-
to say this, like, you don't have to worry about
-
what's being said if you know what's. Been said
-
when you know what's been said you don't have
-
to worry about what's being said so Ezekiel's
-
having a been said moment a Been said moment
-
you ever been in a place in your life. You just
-
got to remember what was been said That this
-
is what God said I know what we see but then
-
there's what God Said and in those seasons when
-
what you see doesn't match up with what God said,
-
you know what you're supposed to do speak again
-
Speak again Dry bones hear the word of the Lord.
-
This is the word that I have That you shall live
-
and not die God's word wasn't contingent upon
-
your behavior It was confirmed through his covenant
-
God had made a covenant promise to the people
-
of Israel that they shall be his people and he
-
should be there God and he did not put conditions
-
on it about how this was going to work. It was
-
his word You are my people. I am your god now.
-
They had a rough relationship We in one of the
-
rough patches But yet and still the rough season
-
didn't undo his covenant promise And that is
-
What God is showing Zeke you and that is what
-
we must stand firm on no rough season cancels
-
God's promise You shall I shall be your God and
-
you shall be my people Dry bones hear the word
-
of the Lord. What's also powerful here is You're
-
seeing Ezekiel perform what we know is the word
-
of God is a what? An incorruptible seed. What
-
does that mean? That means the word of God cannot
-
return void. Once the word of God is sown, a
-
harvest is going to come. It doesn't matter the
-
condition it was sown in. Dry bones hear the
-
word of the Lord. He was speaking the word of
-
the Lord to a situation that wasn't even receptive
-
to life. Y 'all got to rock with me a little
-
better than that. That he was speaking what God
-
said to something that wasn't even receptive
-
to life Why are you saying this pastor Brian?
-
Because that is a vivid picture of many of our
-
worlds right now To where you're having to speak
-
to something that doesn't even show signs of
-
life But dry bones hear the word of the Lord
-
I don't care how dead you look how dry you look
-
how confused you look how you don't understand
-
a word that's coming out of my mouth The word
-
of God is an incorruptible seed. Dry bones hear
-
the word of the Lord. Speak and keep speaking
-
what thus says the Lord. We're not speaking because
-
we see something good. We're speaking because
-
God said something good. Y 'all hear what I'm
-
saying? Dry bones hear the word of the Lord Many
-
of y 'all have become hopeless because they haven't
-
started changing yet dry bones hear the word
-
of the Lord I'm not speaking because I see progress
-
I'm speaking because he's already declared what
-
is going to be so I'm gonna keep speaking what
-
God says knowing that what God says is incorruptible
-
see so dry bones Hear the word of the Lord Now
-
I would start to use some other adjectives to
-
describe some of your situations, but you know
-
who your dry bone is Here's the word of the Lord
-
you're gonna live You're gonna live you're gonna
-
live Because here's truth is the God who creates
-
is the same God who recreates And sometimes we
-
forget that. That the same God who created what's
-
now jacked up is the same God who recreates what's
-
jacked up. It's the same God. The same God who
-
started it is the same God who can remake it.
-
The same God who formed it is the same God who
-
reforms it. It's the same God. If he did it before,
-
he can do it again. I know it's not second service
-
yet. But we sing about it now. It's time to live
-
like we have learned about this. That is the
-
same God You're not having to reconvince another
-
God about what he said You just looking at the
-
effects of we talked about this Ephesians chapter
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
6 that there is a world I'm not going back to
-
But I've been looking in the people I'm like
-
did you we just went through the whole book of
-
Ephesians to help us reconcile that there are
-
people who are not alive to God. They are not
-
alive. But guess what? Drop on. Hear the word
-
of the Lord. You're going to live. And I will.
-
Love this and I will lay the sinews upon you
-
and I will cause flesh to come to you and cover
-
you with skin And breathe breath into you shall
-
live again and she'll yours shall know that I
-
am the Lord First seven so I prophesied as I
-
was Commanded and as I prophesied there was a
-
sound and behold a rattling in the bones came
-
together, bone to its bone. It's important for
-
us to see this because it's also given imagery
-
that they were broken into pieces, right? That
-
when you hear dry bones, sometimes you could
-
think that, man, they were just dry together.
-
But the Bible wants us to be very clear that
-
they were not only dry, but they were dismembered,
-
that they had lost their connection. They had
-
lost their place. They had lost where they belong.
-
So this wasn't just speaking for something to
-
come back to life. It was reorganizing what once
-
was that it was saying like, no, things are scattered.
-
Things are broken. Things are dry. It's wanting
-
us to realize that this was far from hopeful.
-
Yet. He spoke. It's wanting us to connect with
-
the fact that nothing in our world is too far
-
gone, nothing in. your life is to dismember.
-
If God has declared it to be, it shall be." He
-
said, and the bones came together, bone to his
-
bone. And I looked and behold, there was sinews
-
on them and flesh that came, come upon them and
-
skin had covered them. But there was no breath.
-
This is such a beautiful piece because, and I
-
love this. I love when there's just those visionary
-
dreams, right? So Ezekiel is in a visionary dream.
-
God is taking him on this journey before he has
-
to live it out in life. I say that because it
-
means that, man, we really should pay attention
-
greatly to the nuances that are on display. And
-
at this point, we're seeing that there was a
-
process to the recovery. That first the bones
-
came together, then the bones had flesh come
-
to them. That even though it was a miracle, it
-
didn't overlook that process was necessary. That
-
even though he had prophesied for life to come
-
there was a structure needed so life could be
-
formed y 'all rocking with when we talked about
-
structure last week that they didn't just get
-
back up and Instantly it wasn't no and suddenly
-
he was speaking sound rattling bones coming together
-
bones didn't have flesh come to them that there
-
was a process even when God was present. Oftentimes
-
we believe, but when God does it, process ain't
-
involved. That if God shows up, it must have
-
all came together at once. No, God is a God of
-
process. And so what are we to get out of this?
-
That we cannot be discouraged when the first
-
step doesn't look like it got all the way done.
-
We cannot discredit the first step the first
-
step is still necessary The bones had to be brought
-
back together because they were greatly dissembled
-
before flesh could come the bones had to be reassembled
-
There's an order to what's happening here that
-
he couldn't bring the flesh while the bones was
-
still dismembered The bones have to come together.
-
Once the bones are together, now the flesh can
-
come to the situation that there was an order
-
even when God was present. There was a process
-
even while God was present. Why? Because we'd
-
be looking for so many and suddenly we forget
-
that he's a God of order. He's a God of structure
-
and we cannot become sad when the first step
-
doesn't get us all the way to the top of the
-
staircase. Just take the first step. Is what
-
I'm trying to get you to hear it's okay to take
-
the first step Just take the right step going
-
towards what God said. Sometimes you can only
-
go so far What are you saying the truth is your
-
obedience may look pointless until God performs
-
what looked impossible At this point, all right,
-
phones rattling, sound. What does this look like?
-
This looks like that. Let me go ahead and send
-
that text. Let me go ahead and make that phone
-
call. Let me go ahead and do this. And nine times
-
out of 10, you ain't gonna get back what you
-
was looking for. A lot of times you can get the
-
direct opposite of what you're saying. God said,
-
this is gonna live. And I can't be adverse to
-
the process of life being restored. Look at him
-
and say, every step matters. He says, and their
-
bones came together, it was bone to bone, and
-
looked, and behold, there was sinews on them
-
and the flesh that came upon them and the skin
-
covered them, but there was no breath. So they're
-
together. Breath here is not just talking about
-
air to breathe, speaking of the spirit of life.
-
That they lacked the spirit of God, that they
-
lacked life from God. They were together, they
-
were assembled, yet they had not received the
-
spirit's filling. Then he said to me, prophesy
-
to the breath, prophesy son of man and say to
-
the breath, thus says the Lord, God come from
-
the four winds of breath and breathe on these
-
slain that they may live. So I prophesy as he
-
commanded me and breath came to them and they
-
lived and stood on their feet in an exceedingly
-
great that we see this process, right? We see
-
first Ezekiel speak to something that is dead.
-
Then we see him speak again for them to come
-
together. They're assembled. The bones come together.
-
Sinus come together. Flesh is coming to these
-
bones. But here they are still without life,
-
present. That's what we talk about. They're positioned,
-
but they ain't postured. That they are visible
-
standing But aren't postured yet towards God
-
I Say this because a lot of times this is right
-
where we stop We get so happy That they're not
-
yelling at us no more That we forget that they
-
like black breath from God for what needs to
-
happen And so he's like, no, you gotta keep speaking.
-
We're going all the way this time. That we want
-
them to receive the Spirit of God. We're not
-
just okay with looking good in the photos. We
-
want God's breath on this. We want God's way
-
on this. That yeah, we could stop right here
-
and have a good time. But if we want God's will
-
to be done, we need his spirit to inhabit these
-
people. Y 'all gotta rock with me. Because right
-
here is where a lot of us, we get so tired of
-
fighting that once we get everybody together,
-
this was victory. No, this ain't victory yet.
-
We still need God's hand. We need God to consume
-
this. We need God's breath on what happens next.
-
Verse 11, then he said to me, son of man, these
-
bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold,
-
they say. Our bones are dried up and our hope
-
is lost. We are indeed cut off. So now, when
-
we get to this spot, we're seeing the attitudes
-
and the words of the people he's speaking to.
-
That they have no hope for God's involvement
-
in their lives. truly believe that God is done
-
with them. That they don't believe that God has
-
a care nor concern for who they are. They see
-
themselves as cut off from God. It's important
-
that we see this because a lot of times we speak
-
about getting to the root of a matter. And we
-
have to realize a lot of times we get caught
-
up in the symptoms people present. But a person
-
who is filled with God always has hope in God.
-
We spoke about, I have a reason to praise. That
-
praise isn't just an outward expression. It's
-
it's an inward conviction that God's still on
-
my side That he isn't forsaken me he hasn't forgotten
-
me so no matter what the despair looks like I
-
still have hope Why are you saying it's pastor
-
Brian because many of the people In many of the
-
situations that we're having to speak to, we
-
have to realize the level of desperation that's
-
ahead of us. But also how simple the solution
-
of how powerful the acknowledgement of God being
-
with you is on your outlook of life. That once
-
you have a true conviction, that it is God who
-
is with you. There truly isn't many things that
-
can steal your hope away. I like to say it like
-
this, is that we don't have a big enemy, we have
-
a small view of God. Doesn't matter what the
-
enemy is doing. Have you seen? God Have you gained
-
a revelation of who God is I I I know you are
-
very Articulate about your issue, but are do
-
you have a vivid picture of what God can do?
-
And so when you speak at this moment, and this
-
is why I love so much already for this I believe
-
Ezekiel takes the word vision to a whole nother
-
level. That what Ezekiel is truly experiencing
-
is a vivid picture of God's power. He doesn't
-
just have a plan. He doesn't just have a strategy.
-
He has a vivid picture of God's power. What do
-
you mean Pastor Brian? That he is through this
-
vision He is seeing that God can speak to dry
-
bones, reassemble them, bring flesh to them,
-
bring his spirit back to them, that something
-
that is hopeless, dead, and gone isn't too far
-
away from God. He's not walking away from this
-
vision with a good plan. He's walking away from
-
the vision with a conviction of how powerful
-
God is. Y 'all gotta work with me. I'm trying
-
to turn something, stir something up in you,
-
because I know many of y 'all have had dreams,
-
you got plans, you got strategy, but do you have
-
a vivid image inside of you of how powerful God
-
is? Are you carrying a testimony that inclines
-
your heart to say, if God said it so, it shall
-
be so? Like, greater than the plan, greater than
-
the strategy is my belief in his power over all
-
things. Like, Ezekiel walks away knowing if God
-
be for you, who could be against you? Because
-
the first thing he would encounter is the people
-
who think they're too far gone, too cut off.
-
dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. I love
-
this. Because I believe God has a vision. He's
-
gonna restore many of you. Because Ezekiel was
-
that one brought out of that tribe. You may be
-
the one in your tribe That has to be That steady
-
voice of what God has said even in the valley
-
where no hope can be found But y 'all shadowed
-
me new life. Behold, they say our bones are dried
-
up and our hope is lost. We are indeed cut off.
-
Therefore prophesy and say to them, thus said
-
the Lord, behold, I will open your graves and
-
raise you from your graves, O my people. and
-
I will bring you into the land of Israel and
-
you shall know that I am the Lord when I open
-
your graves and raise you from your graves, oh
-
my people." Right? They thought they were cut
-
off, yet God is continuing to use words that
-
let them know you are not lost. My people, my
-
people, my people. I will open up your graves.
-
What is this? This is a picture of a resurrection
-
that was to come, right? That the Old Testament's
-
filled with types and shadows of a coming savior.
-
And so when he's speaking of those graves opening
-
up, he's speaking of resurrection power that
-
is to come. And God is going to not only open
-
up their graves, but open up the graves of all
-
people through resurrection power that come to
-
him. Why are you saying this, Pastor Brian? Because
-
I want you to have a vivid understanding of the
-
power that you have. That resurrection power
-
lives on the inside of you. Resurrection power
-
lives on the inside of you. You have the power
-
to speak to graves. They open up and what was
-
considered dead walk right back out But pastor
-
Brian I try speak again If you have heard from
-
the Lord there's nothing else to consider if
-
God said it shall live it shall live and not
-
die They may just still be trying to get their
-
bones together You may even see a little flesh
-
right now But we don't stop until the spirit
-
of god takes a hold of the whole situation And
-
submits to what god says shall be done. When
-
do I stop speaking? You don't stop speaking until
-
god is done Y 'all rocking with me look at them
-
say neighbor resurrection power lives on the
-
inside of you look at me and say hey neighbor
-
are you waiting on somebody to declare what you
-
have the power to speak Says and raise you from
-
your grave, old people, and I will put my spirit
-
within you and you shall live and I will place
-
you in your own land. Then you shall know that
-
I am the Lord. I have spoken and I will do it,
-
declares the Lord. That we see. This three part
-
structure, right? Vision. That was his dream,
-
a vivid picture of God's power. Then we see structure,
-
how it comes together. Then we see God breathe
-
on them again. What are you saying, Pastor Brian?
-
I want you to set that expectation for your life.
-
I want you to set that expectation for what God
-
is calling you to do. This is such a message
-
for leaders. Because oftentimes, as leaders,
-
you are that Ezekiel that's having to continue
-
to speak although things don't seem as though
-
they're moving. And I would just say, man, realize
-
that what you see isn't simply a plan. What you
-
see is a display of God's power. That oftentimes,
-
as a visionary, we keep thinking of the thing
-
we see. as we have this vision and we don't leave
-
understanding no you just got a clear display
-
of God's power this is what God can do what you
-
saw is what God can do and start seeing that
-
vision not as a plan not as an outcome but as
-
evidence that God's power can bring it together
-
y 'all rocking with me not my will, your will
-
be done. If this starts with a step that don't
-
even look like we moved, I will not faint, I
-
will not quit, cave in, lose heart, because we
-
will see the goodness of the Lord right here
-
in the land of the living. Father God, we thank
-
you for today. I just thank you for this opportunity
-
to come and to minister to your people. Father
-
God, I pray that they leave here understanding
-
the power you've deposited in them. I pray that
-
they leave here with a hunger and thirst to experience
-
your power made present in their lives. I pray
-
that they leave here understanding that they
-
haven't been forgotten. They haven't been forsaken,
-
but you are the God that will not leave them
-
nor forsaken, but be with them. Father God, I
-
pray they leave your understanding that no one
-
is too far gone, that no one is too removed,
-
that God, you, you have a plan, you have a purpose
-
and wisdom for every situation we may seem as
-
too difficult. But Father God, we will leave
-
here relentless about your truth. Committed to
-
your word. There's some things that you've been
-
said. We know what we are seeing, but there's
-
some things that you've been said. Renew us again,
-
God. Stir us up. Rekindle that fire about what
-
you are capable of doing. Amen. There's anybody
-
here today and like Pastor Brian Adam heard all
-
of that and I have yet to even give my life to
-
Christ Listen, we would love to be the church
-
and the people The Bible says best profession
-
of your mouth and a belief in your heart that
-
Jesus died and rose again that you shall Say
-
and so in this moment, I'm going to say a prayer
-
if you want to receive Jesus in your heart Repeat
-
this prayer and know that, whoo, you have a father
-
who will never leave you nor forsake you. But
-
Father God, I come to you with belief that you
-
died and you rose again. But when you rose, you
-
rose with my forgiveness. You redeemed me. Place
-
your spirit inside of me, and you have sealed
-
me to the day we meet. Heaven is my home. Earth
-
is my assignment. And I'm thankful to be called
-
a son and a daughter of yours. If you said that
-
prayer for the first time, let's give it up.
-
Let's cheer for them. Let's celebrate those who
-
said it for the first time. I'm so excited today,
-
y 'all. Y 'all have a good time in church today.
-
Amen. But I tell you, we'll receive today's offering
-
before we go. Here at Revealing Truth Ministries,
-
we believe in cheerful givers. What does that
-
mean? We believe in people who have communication
-
with God around their giving. They're not being
-
forced or coerced, but they believe that God
-
has given them instructions to give and in response
-
to what God has instructed them to do, they act
-
in obedience. And so they're cheerful about it
-
because God is a just God that He will never
-
leave us forsaken, that God... is a god who always
-
always makes sure that we have more than enough
-
he's exceedingly abundantly above god so god
-
asks you to sow it trust and believe that there
-
is a harvest for you amen and so um as you give
-
do so cheerfully this morning amen week two look
-
at neighbor say here is home right Don't let
-
nobody kick you out your house. No, you dry bones.
-
You hear the word of the Lord. Well. Stand to
-
your feet. Y 'all looking at me like, is he really
-
done? I am. Y 'all should see the looks on y
-
'all faces. Like, that brother, I know he got
-
something more to say. I don't. I don't. Y 'all
-
can walk out of here and be like, boy, that was
-
a miracle in service today. Oh, wait a minute.
-
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. So like, so
-
did she go? Everyone has them. All right. So
-
they should have gave you a card when you came
-
in, right? You guys get a card when you came
-
in. Yep. So check this out. Not like y 'all be
-
writing anyway in a law. There are cards somewhere
-
around here. Vera just showed me one, they exist.
-
They're out on the table. They are on the table,
-
so there are cards in the house. And so one of
-
the things that God had placed on our heart to
-
do is to join with you on this journey, right?
-
That this is something we're all walking through
-
together, but we do. We believe in the power
-
of prayer. We believe that God, man, he has a
-
will and a purpose, and Satan is no match with
-
his schemes. And so what we have, look, there
-
they go, is some cards, right? And on these cards,
-
right, maybe you have an image, maybe you don't
-
have an image of what God is. What you're standing
-
in faith for God to bring resurrection life to
-
But what we want to do is give you an opportunity
-
to join with your family your church family and
-
say hey This is what I'm standing in faith for
-
you write it on that card. You don't got to put
-
your name on the card our intercessory team is
-
gonna be praying over them and We're gonna spend
-
this this this here is home series just awaiting
-
and hearing the testimonies as God goes through
-
brings new life to our families, our situations,
-
relationships, and so that's what those cards
-
are for, right? And if you don't know what that
-
thing is today, spend this week, right? Spend
-
this week getting a, check this out, a vivid
-
image of God's power. Like what can God do? Not
-
what you think, not what they say, not what you
-
want, they want, but what can God do? Be bold.
-
My father always would say, the government can
-
tax a lot of things, but they haven't figured
-
out how to tax your dreams. So be bold, be courageous.
-
Amen. All right. What do we want them to do with
-
the cards? Put them at the altar. Amen. And you
-
oughta service early, so you don't take five
-
minutes, you know? But I love you, I thank God
-
for it. Now I want to him who is able to keep
-
you from falling and to present you faultless
-
for the presence of his glory with exceeding
-
joy to the only wise God, our savior. Glory and
-
majesty, dominion. both now and forever. Amen.
