Jesus Can - Edwin Eby

Believing to you in the name of Jesus. It's a blessing to be here

again this evening. It's children's time, and I believe the preacher said that

we should use these benches right here, So anybody that wants to come to

this story will come right here all the way up if you. Yeah,

some people that are forty years old are still children, but we don't have

room for you. So I don't like each other as a story. But

the reason I can telling the children, maybe there's something that you could learn.

There's something that mhm mhmm, number seventy seven in your book. Please,

I'll sing the second verse for me. It was in the Gold and

he prayed, not my will, but he had no dy for his old

grief, but drops of blood arm a marvelous, wonderful and my song shovel,

oh marvelous fall, May yours for army. Please turn your bibles to

the fifth chapter of Mark. It's common my people at home. The people

at home know that I often give at least two titles to a message,

and I sort of feel like that tonight. I'm not sure what the titles

of this message should be, but maybe it should be something like more stories

from the Bible for adults. Or maybe it should be the Wild Man,

the Sick Woman, and the Dead Maiden, or maybe it should be Jesus

can So you could use any one of those that you choose. And so

we are here in Mark five tonight, and I pray that you can bear

with me. It's been a long time since I preached in this chapter.

And if you find me being emotional, I ask you to forgive me because

because the things that happened in this in this book, or in this chapter,

in this story very important to me. There's a certain way that I'm

going to keep on telling stories tonight. I'm not going to me to read

this chapter. I'm going to tell this chapter tonight. And maybe God can

say something to us. And maybe there's somebody here that needs Jesus to do

something for them, and he can he can do that. So in the

story for the Daughts that Jesus about the life of Jesus, this is in

the morning, Mark chapter five. This is in the morning, right after

a very dark night when Jesus had sent people away and they were trying to

get across the water, and the storm came up and Jesus said peace because

he could do that, because Jesus can do it. And not only can

he still the storm, but the something very interesting about what happened during that

night is that not just did the water the wind stop blowing, but the

waves went away right away. See that doesn't happen. That doesn't just happen

like that. After the wind stops, the waves keep going for a little

while. But in this case, both of those happened at the same time.

So that was that was pretty amazing. And Jesus can do that.

So this story that's in chapter five Mark is just in the morning right after

that, and Jesus brought a great peace there to both people and the sea.

There. He just said peace, and it happened, and after that

storm there was a great peace. But here in chapter five of Mark,

and Jesus is on his way to a city. And this city was not

a Jewish city, it was a gentile city. And so they went across

and there they came there across the sea of Galilee, and he was on

his way to the city that was full of pagan gentiles who disregarded truth.

And I'm going to guess that there are no Jews here, except that if

you're the seat of Abraham, then you are a Jew, because the Bible

says he that is a believer is the son of Abraham. So in that

way, maybe you're a Jew. But I think probably we're all pagan gentiles.

And he was on the way to a city that was not Jewish,

it was pagan, and they did not regard truth. The city didn't.

And so if you are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, then you

are a Jew in some way. So in this story, in this gentile

country where Jesus went there, he found a poor wild man, that's what

he found. And this wild man needed to be healed. Folks tonight.

He was a wild man. Everyone was afraid of this man. Everyone stayed

away from this man because this wild man hurt other people, and no one

dared to give this wild man another chance to hurt them. And that's a

good thing to stay away from other people that hurt you if you are a

man. But Jesus she was not afraid of another man who hurt other people.

And if we have Jesus in us, then we will have power in

some ways like Jesus, and we will not be afraid of other men who

hurt other men, because those who have Jesus in them can do things like

Jesus did, and they can bring healing into the hearts of other hurt people

who hurt other people. So you see, if we find that we cannot

or are not doing the things that Jesus did, then we need to ask

him. No matter how long we've been a Christian, then we need to

ask Jesus again to help us do the things that Jesus did. And this

is a very serious problem in the world in which we live, and that

is powerless Christians, carnal Christians. That's a problem, that's an eternal problem

in the world which we live. And there's so many people who say that

they are Christians, but they cannot do what Jesus did, professing God in

us, but denying the power thereof, or denying the power that Jesus had,

because Jesus is not yet born in them. They might be doing a

lot of things that are right, but Jesus is not born yet. He's

not born in them yet, and that is why they are afraid of other

men like this man who no man could tame. The Bible tells us in

the story and they one could dain me. And if Jesus is born in

us, then we can begin to do what Jesus did in this man's life.

If we let Jesus live in us, because then we will not be

fearful of other wild men who hurt other people. Then we will not be

afraid of wild men. Because you see, Jesus gives people another chance,

and another chance, and another chance. Right now he is one day the

chance is going to be cut off, the opportunity to be cut off one

day, that's it. But right now Jesus continues to give people another chance

because he can, and because he does, and because he will. But

nobody could in this story. Nobody could get close to this wild man.

Can you imagine with me a little bit tonight the loneliness that was inside of

this wild man? You know, loneliness cause people to do wild things.

Did you know that? Of course you did, will make people do things

that are unimaginable. In fact, I have taught and continue to teach that

the cruelest thing that one human can do to another human is reject them.

It's kinder to take a gun to their head and have them out of the

way, but rejection and separation is the cruelest thing that one human can do

to another human because it causes loneliness, and loneliness makes people so wild that

no one can help. But Jesus, even hospitals can't help these lonely men

women. The doctors can't either, only Jesus, and sometimes Jesus helps doctors

to help wild men. But even doctors cannot help wild men alone. In

fact, many doctors just give up, or maybe they give them drugs,

or sometimes they try to chain them or take up other kinds of chances,

but they cannot do it. And in the story, this wild man lived

with other dead people, that's what he did, says. He lived in

the tombs, and he hurt himself, and he hurt other people if he

had a chance, and self and demons were his master, day after day

and night after night. But thank the Lord Jesus does always give people another

chance. So in this Bible story, no one would get close to this

lonely wild man. And during the night, this wild man would scream and

he would cut himself, and he was afraid, and he would run and

he would scream in the graveyard day after day and night after night. This

wild man would scream and scream, and he ran here and there, cutting

and screaming and cutting himself with stones, the story tells us. And his

life was lonely and it was miserable, and people from their windows over in

town they would hear him screaming and running during the night, they would hear

it, but they were powerless to help him. Not only were they powerless

to help him, they became so as to his lonely screaming that they often

forgot that he was there. And they were really in the same miserable state

as a wild man. But it seems like they had lots of things to

eat and work and where, and so life seemed sort of okay, But

really they were wild men too. One time or so, someone in the

city would think maybe they could get the problem taken care of. So they

were all gathered together and they went over there, and they caught the wild

man against his will, and they put him in chains to tie him fast,

to somehow protect him from his own danger of hurting himself in his own

dangerous lights. But he just broke the change, and each time he would

run away screaming again, screaming for help, but there was no one could

help him, because no one had the power that Jesus has. I don't

know who I'm speaking to, but there could be a possibility tonight that I'm

speaking to someone that's screaming and crying day and night inside and there's no one

can help. That's a possibility. And so if you're here tonight and you're

lonely inside and you're screaming night and day and cannot find anybody to help you,

then only Jesus can do it. But when Jesus comes, everyone knows

who he is when he comes. See, everyone knows that when the power

of Jesus comes, then the devil has to go. And that's what happened

here in this story. When Jesus came, then the devil had to go.

Because you remember last night we were talking about these two crosses, and

some of you said, why did you say, don't take this cross over

there? Well, all I meant was us, don't confuse it. If

your heart's over there, just go ahead over and go over there to town.

That's all I meant by that. But that's what I meant, don't

take this cross over there. If your heart's over here, then just go

over there. But if your heart's distracted here to the cross of Jesus Christ,

then just stay here. Don't take this right over there. But the

truth is, if your heart is distracted here and you take the cross of

here over to here, the devil has to go over here. That's to

go somewhere else. See, well, that's what happened here. Jesus came,

and when Jesus came, the devil has to go. And that's what

happened. Jesus came, and with Jesus came his power to heal. And

so I have to ask us a question tonight. Do you know this evening

the power of the true healing of Jesus Christ. Do you know that?

I? I I believe you do. But that does not mean that everyone

here is in that situation? Do you know this evening true healing? Shee.

Healing is not when you hide the cut with a band aid and don't

allow anyone to see it, or keep it in your pocket like I have

my hand in my pocket here. That's not healing. Healing is when you

when it's healed and there's a scar there, but it's like it was I.

I It's it's a scar there, but it's healed, and it's not

hiddens hid him is not healing. So healing is not when we hide,

when we hide the hurt. It's when we our brother already talked about confessing.

It's when we bring it into the open sea. And when Jesus heals

it, then it's not hidden anymore. And we're going to talk about that

in a little So when Jesus comes, healing comes and true healing comes,

and that's what happens when Jesus comes. So either we are fearful of him

or else we are healed. It cannot be both. Only those two things

can happen. So what happened in the story, Jesus came and healing came,

and the devil had to go, because when Jesus came and healed the

wild man, the devil had to go. And the devil went out into

the pigs and the hogs there on the side of the hill, and two

thousand pigs went thrashing and running over the sea and drowned there and back in

Pennsylvania. Two thousand pigs. That's a whole contract. That's a whole house

of them. That's one whole contract. White Oak Middles or Harrow's house is

back there doing it premium or whatever. That's one whole contract and just like

that, two thousand, Just like that, the whole contract. Well,

White Oak Middles went out the door, just like that because the devil came.

Yeah, the devil came there. The devil went out of the of

the wild men went into the pigs, and the company lost the whole contract

right like that, two thousand of them because Jesus came. Can you imagine

that, lose a whole house of pigs because Jesus came over here and healed

this man. Anyway, that's another subject maybe, but when Jesus comes in,

the devil must go, and this story teaches us that. And furthermore,

Jesus will not come to me and heal me unless I want him to.

It's called volition or choice. And I'm sixty six and I told some

of you that sleep as a sin, and I know that you can talk

about that or your sandwich, and okay and disagree with me. Well,

one of the things I think I'm willing to believe that around six six years

old, is that life of the choice. So Jesus will not hear any

wild person except that he wanted to. It is not amazing, but he

will and he can and he always will if I say so, or I

ask him to you, or I want him to. And this man wanted

Jesus. He wanted to be free from his lonely wild life, and he

wanted to be free from bondies and himself, and he wanted to worship Jesus

for the rest of his life. And he was sick and tired of screaming

and running and hiding, so he just chose to give everything up to Jesus.

And the devil went out, and Jesus came in and healing cave and

enter peace and a clear mind. And the Bible says he has not given

us the spirit of fear, but of love and peace and a sound mind.

And not only that. In this story, this man had been running

around naked. And you see, there's something very important about Jesus. When

he heals, he puts clothes on people. That's what he does. These

people are from town without Jesus. They choose their things from Walmart or Bonton

or Apple Incorporated or something like that. They don't choose the clothes that Jesus

gives. And that's one of the reasons they are salnely because apple clothes are

still only or north face or whatever it is. And that is one of

the reasons that people are still screaming and running and hiding inside. And they

cry and they cry, but their own self issuess will never take away the

deep longings of an empty heart. And yes they have on clothes, but

they're still naked. But people who choose like this man to love Jesus,

well, I think there'll be a better word, but Minna's caught nonconformity.

So if you see someone young man walking around partly undressed or walking around without

clothes, you can be sure of one thing. They don't have Jesus.

But sometimes even in our culture, I'm me use that word, people are

like the wild man's city's friends. They have on some clothes, but they

not the kind that Jesus gives them, so they continue to be lonely and

wild inside. Oh how sad that is that maybe someone would be sitting here

tonight but still wild and lonely. But don't give up because Jesus kind and

he will and he always does. If we say you may, I want

you to. And Jesus loves men, and men who love Jesus love him

back. We love him because he first loves us, and don't want just

like this man, see this all happened and Jesus man said, just stay

here. What's me? And Jesus said, now you have a message.

You have to go over there to Salem. You have to go up there

to Portland. You have to go down here to Eugenie. I'll come again

one day, but for now, you have to go over here to Eugenie

and tell all those people that you screaming, that now you're not screaming anymore.

And while until I come back, you have a work to do,

and that is world of Eugene. And sell them and tell them and they

know that you're not screaming anymore. And all these people together around and they

marveled at this situation. What a beautiful picture, What a beautiful picture.

But for now, Jesus says, go tell someone else, and then I

will come and you can stay with me forever. But in the meanwhile,

I'm going to send my spirit into your heart. But go tell others what

happened to you when I came into your life, and tell everyone and be

open. What has happened to you. Because here's another point about this story.

Openness and transparency is a ear mark of a person who has the power

of Jesus. It identifies those who have the power of Jesus, because the

power of Jesus will be open and transparent, not hiding. And hiding is

the earmark of a person who is not yet finished with himself. And he

hears. This person who is not yet finished with himself, hears and knows

about screaming wild men. But deep down inside he knows himself that he has

no power to help other hurting wild men, so he goes back to sleep.

Well, then the Bible says Jesus got back in the boat and went

back across the sea of Galilee, and he left this country where he met

the wild man, and he and his seplis went back across the sea.

And it's ironic, but this was all in the same day, probably late

in the afternoon now of the same day. And here's the point. Jesus

can get a lot of stuff done in the same day without being careless and

living on the edge, you know. So now it was late in the

afternoon, and he never gets careless or geese too fast. It was now

late in the same day, and all he can do so much, and

he he is not weak as we are. He is very strong. He

did very many things for the same day. And Peter calls that the grace,

the man of fold grace, many many grace coming in everywhere, because

Jesus does that for people that are healed well. Anyway, in this story,

probably the very the same afternoon. Now later in the afternoon, late

after many people were waiting there as he got off the boat to see him.

People were everywhere. When Jesus comes back across crowds and crowds of people,

and a Jewish man comes running up, Jesus, Jesus, please come

to my house. He was the leader of the synagogue. He was like

something like Dan or Leland. He was a leader. And he comes running

up and said, Jesus, please come to my house. And he was

a man of great influence, just like Leland, a tremendous influence that he

has here in this commugation. But he was still human and he had problems

just like everyone else. And his little daughter that was twelve years old,

his only daughter. She had a very high fever. And this man knew

that if she didn't get help soon, this little girl was going to die.

And all how he loved this little girl. Please, Jesus, can

you come to my house quickly? He so wanted Jesus to come and heal

his little daughter. And he knew that someone go get Jesus. I don't

know if you ever heard that song, and I was one of my favorites.

Someone go get Jesus now, because if Jesus doesn't come, Elizarus is

gonna die. If Jesus doesn't come, the little girl's gonna die. And

so he started. This man's name was Jerius. It wasn't Liland. This

man's name was Jerius. He started on his way to Jerry's house because that's

where the little sick girl was, and all her mother, her friends,

and family were around this little sick girl. So now finally Jesus on the

way to Jerry's house and crowds of people all around, and most of them

didn't even know where they were going. They were just doing what other people

do. A lot that you know, that happens a lot with people.

They're just doing things that other people are doing. And they were going along

with the crowd that day and Jesus was headed to Jerry his house, and

then something happened. Something happened. That is another of the Bible's my beautiful

stories. It's one of my favorite stories. And the point of it is

that I want to learn. One of the things I wanted to learn tonight

is that Jesus, in all that he can do, he allows interruptions.

He allows interruptions. And that's exactly what happened. He was on the way

to Jerry's house, and here a sick woman had heard that Jesus had come,

and she knew somehow that Jesus was a healer. And this woman was

very, very sick. Twelve long years she had been sick. And it's

not nice to be sick, No, it's nice to be healthy. Not

only that, the kind of sickness that this woman had was not nice either,

because people couldn't come to visit her house. She had to live alone,

and it took away all of her strength. From day today, every

day she felt weak and unable to go about, just sick, day after

day after day for twelve years. And I suppose when she got up in

the morning she looked out her little window, she just cried because she was

going to be sick another day. But you know, crying is good for

people. Did you know that? Sometimes it's even his selfishness, But for

different reasons. People cry, and I don't understand all human emotions. And

many people, mostly on this side house, we think that crying is bad.

But it's not bad. It's good because it is one way that God

can call us. It's one way that God can call us brothers when we

cry. And sometimes preachers and bishops must cry. Did you know that?

You probably don't see it, but sometimes they have to cry, and they

cried just as this one, because they don't what to do to help the

problem that they have and that they are responsible for. They don't know what

to do, they don't know how, they don't know what to do about

it, so crying, well, anyway, this woman must have gotten up

in the morning and looked at her went and cried. But then she heard

that Jesus had come to town, and she she messed up all her courage

to leave her a little cottage and just go over to Jesus because she finally

had admitted to herself that it would just be another day like the one that

was before that if she didn't go to Jesus. They were just going to

be another day, just like the one before that and before that and before

that, and it would just be another one of the same card unless she

made a decision to go to Jesus. So she mustered up her courage,

because not only was she sick in her health, she was sick in her

spirit, sick, and every person without the healing of Jesus is just like

this woman. He that comes to the Father must believe that he is and

that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. The Bible says

it's called faith, brother Burkey. Faith is not that coach you have on.

God bless you for having it on. But that's not faith. It

could be a result of it, but it's not faith. See, he

that comes to the Father must believe that he is and that he is a

word of Well, this woman finally admitted that she was sick, and so

many many women and so many many men are just still sick like this woman.

And Jesus is just over across town and not very far away, but

they haven't chosen to go over there yet. But she heard that Jesus in

town and she admitted that her spirit and soul was sick, and she heard

about Jesus. And for twelve years, she had tried to get well on

her own. For twelve years, she went to every doctor that she could

find, and she tried every different kind of potion and medicine in her herbs,

and she drank tea, and she took different medicines, and she went

to this doctor, and she went to that doctor, thinking that maybe it

would hoover her. And every time she went, they just took four dollars

out of her pocket. And now she didn't have any money left, and

she was still sick, and these doctors would charge her for coming to visit

and give their advice on healing. But she was still sick, and she'd

gone to every doctor that she knew about, and now all her money was

gone, and not only was she sick, but she was still lonely.

Plus she didn't have any money, and she was still sick, and she's

so bad, and he wanted to be healed, and all how she longed

for health so that she could get up in the morning and look out her

little window in the morning and see the sun and know that it was a

nice day. And that she would be healed and she could go in and

out, and at night she would lay down to sleep, knowing that she

was still sick, and in the morning she would rise. But inside she

was still sick, and she just wanted to get out of bed, and

she just wanted to lay her head on her pillow at night and go to

sleep and know that she was not sick anymore. But day after day and

night after night, she knew that it was not so, and she knew

that she was still really sick. And tonight, if you are sick,

if inside you are crying for health, you must go like this woman,

to Jesus, because if you don't, the next day will just be like

the day before that. Staying home another day will not heal you, and

another day of crying will not heal you. And so the woman said,

inside of herself, I will go to Jesus. She talked to herself.

Do you talk to yourself. You probably won't admit it, but talking to

yourself is good if you tell yourself the right thing. I talk to myself,

and I don't always tell myself the right thing, but it's good to

talk to yourself. Brother Jason, if you tell yourself the right thing,

and this woman told herself the right thing. She said, I'm sick and

Jesus in town, and I'm going to go to Jesus. If I could

just get close enough. I think if I would just could get their close

up that maybe I could touch him, I can get healed. That's what

I do. I'll go to Jesus. I'll just go right now, and

then I can get up in the morning and I can look out my window

and know that I am free for sickness and thank the Lord Word. And

then in the evening I can go to sleep and put my head on a

pillow and know that I'm not sick, and I can sleep and know that

I'm going to get up the next morning and it's going to be different than

the day before that, and I can sleep well because I am well.

So she told herself, I'll just go to Jesus. That's what she said

to herself, just like the wild man, because Jesus can give another chance,

and he always will for people who tell themselves the right thing and do

it because Jesus answers our prayers for healing, not because of us, but

because of him, and Jesus heals when we tell him all of the truth.

And Jesus knows when someone is looking for him, even if they are

among the crowds, and no one else knows it. So she snuck through

the crowds, getting closer and closer, jostling here and there like you might

in a crowded airport, and Jesus knew she was coming, but other people

didn't know she was coming. She was getting closer and closer and closer until

she could reach out and she touched him, and the Bible says healing came.

So she seemed like just another person in the crowd, but inside she

knew she was not just another person in the crowd. She knew that she

was a sick woman that could get only be healed by Jesus. So as

Jesus went towards Jerry's house, this beautiful interruption happened her our thoughts that she

was just another person, and if you are here tonight and you are sick,

Jesus already knows it. She got closer, sneaking here and there and

there he was close enough to touch, and then she did it, and

it meant her she was healed. You know, there's something else when you

decide to touch Jesus, Jesus knows you did it. And Jesus said,

healing went out, and the several said you're crazy, but he was not

crazy. And here's another point, very important point. Brother Jason talked to

us about confessing, said Bible says, she just told him everything. Can

you imagine that's the embarrassment to stand up in a church congregation when there's a

revolval going one and telling every s everybody, this is very very question from

my heart. You would know this man if you said his name, he's

my nephew. If you thought about another is your friend or mine? One

night you were having revolted the teacher, if Paul Weaver was there, pretty

if Paul called me a young pastor about five o'clock in the evening, he

said, run a head when ort a young hay and it went to say

something is that a tay to make your schools? And the Paul passed in

meditation, a young man up out of his seat about to stay or from

where, and him walking right up here, and I'm sitting right there,

and he just started telling everybody everything, and he was crying, and I

was crying and I just got up out of my seat out of break there

and I just come on around there. Can you imagine that? But he

was healed. We didn't have to have all this pretty stuff and all this

probably do this. You didn't have to get anything. See this woman right

there in the middle of the crowd, she told everything about herself and that

about the teach us. This is confession, and this half hidding confession doesn't

bring healing. But when there is true, open, transparent confession, there

is true healing. And that's exactly what happened about says right there in this

beautiful interruption. She got healed because she came to Jesus, and because Jesus

can and he will and he does. Right there, she got healed.

And now it didn't matter, It didn't matter anymore what people thought about her.

It didn't matter, oh people thought about her, because she told everything

right there in front of everybody, and she was healed in body and fearing.

And this is an important part of confession and telling people this is who

I am. And the Bible says that he that will do that all of

the things that happened in the past, and how do you remember it any

more? But for people who say, but don't all the bad comes back,

see, but he that will confess that's not It doesn't matter anymore.

And she fell down there right in the street in front of King Jesus,

there in the crowds, and now everybody knew who she was, and there

were any secrets about her life anymore. Can you imagine this. They're in

the crowd telling Jesus all the things. But oh, it was so good.

It didn't matter what people thought. It only mattered that she could go

to bed and be healed and get up the next morning. And so there

she just talked to Jesus by everyone watched and listened and know how happy she

was then. And Jesus said, just like he did to the wild man,

now you are completely old. Oh what a beautiful picture. She was

free. She could go now to the house of her friends. Her friends

whould come over for tea. And there was sickness back there, but she

could just tell anyone. She knew the story about how it happened, because

she had already told it before the crowds, and it didn't hurt anymore because

she was wow and she was a daughter of God, and it didn't matter

that one time she was sick. It didn't matter even that she had been

sick for a long long time, because nothing like that ever matters. After

Jesus heals a person. Oh, the virtue of Jesus and the power of

God transferred to the healed one. It makes people whole. It brings them

from sickness to the life. It is the divine nature of the brother.

Lennon read from first Peter about evening, but Jerious daughter. Now this Jewish

lady was healed, but the Jewish man was still waiting because his little daughter

was sick. And after all this and the interruption of the sick woman,

messengers came to Jeriously. Is too late. It's too late. It's no

use. Your little girl has already died. This Jewish man, of this

leader of the synagogue, brother Dan, while Jesus was helping others, his

only little sick daughter died. And with all the influence that he held in

the congregation of the synagogue there where people even loved him. He had problems

just like everyone else, and he had none well that if it helped,

didn't come soon the fever of his little girl. And know how he loves

he only had one little girl, and he had begged please come Jesus,

and he had so well and finding Jesus in the way, and suddenly here

comes interruption, and because of that she died, which is something that's sick

people that are healed learn. And that is a phrase that I use over

and over again that our people know well, and that is it's a phrase

from First Christian chapter five, or say all things are of God. And

some of my friends say, you're taking it out of context, and I

might be taking out of context of the scripture, but it's still scripture.

All are of God, except if they're men, and even when they are

of men, they are of God. And that's something we have to learn

because God knows what is best even for healed people. And Jesus was on

earth just be God, and he showed us how to do it. And

if you are healed here tonight, then you can learn something just like I

have to learn it over and over and over and over again, is that

all things are of God, and that interruptions God met something for them,

just like yesterday afternoon and afternoon for that was a plan to come out here.

Tuesday night, I get a call, a text from frontier. I

see. But one thing people can learn and must learn who are healed,

is that God allows and may I even say, causes interruptions. And that's

exactly what happened. And now the little girl had died. And I don't

have to tell you this, but death brings fear to men, even in

some way healed men, because that is the sting of death. Death didn't

come from God. Death came from the devil. It came from the other

direction. It came from over here. It didn't come from here except that

Jesus died for us. And we we we're going to get into that Lord

willing here these these these days more about that. But death is a terrible

sting. And this little girl had died. I mean, death is vile.

The young girls like to put up on make up, you know,

and what you do with make up you put on dead bodies to make them

look something that they're not. Try to make them look like they're alive when

they're really dead. Death is so bid, and we do you the undertake

a thing and put some make up on there and make them look like something

they're not. Really, that's one lesson that I didn't have in my notes,

but it's one happens. Why you should not use make up cause you're

alive, not dead. I'm not you are that then you need some make

to believe it because Jesus excludes unbelievers, which hinder his power. And that's

exactly what happened in this story. But if we decide, then Jesus will

raise us to life, and he will take us by the hand. Because

Jesus loves to raise people to life, and he has the power to do

so. Lazarus, come forth. He has so much power that if he

wouldn't have specified e Lazarus, the general resurrection would have happened right there,

the whole graveyard. When Jesus said, come to life would have happened if

he wouldn't have specified last. That's how much power he has about life over

death to heal them from wildness and sickness. He has the power to do

it. No preacher can do it, No standards of the church can do

it. Only Jesus can do it. And where Jesus is, and where

belief is by humans, there comes healing and peace and life. And when

people raises, Jesus raises people to life. Others are astonished. I was

not a very good young man. I wasted a lot of years, and

then I became a businessman, and then Jesus raised me in life. And

a man that knew me well said, what in the world happened to Edwin?

He does don't do the same things anymore. Well, that's what happens

when Jesus raises people to life. Everyone knows about it, and life and

death are not equal in action. Of course you knew that. And then

Jesus said, give her some food. Deep why maybe he just had to

prove to the people that were laughing that she was actually alive, because that

people don't eat food. They don't eat the bread of life. Only people

who are alive eat the bread of life because food brings us strength, and

food keeps us alive. And God made all the food we eat. So

Jesus was still keeping the little maiden alive. And I ask you the question,

do you have the bread of life tonight? So how will it be

with you? Are you wild inside? Does your mind need healing day after

day and night after night? Are you the master of self and sin?

No one can tame themselves. People are afraid of themselves. They just won't

admit that said tonight, Are you roaming into tombs? Are you sick and

dead? The answer is, come to Jesus, and we're going to sing

a song here, and not as much abou your heads here while we sing

some song that our brother, whoever it is, has for us. If

there's someone here who needs healing and peace and life do it. Jesus can

do it, and he always does if we ask him. So, the

question is tonight, are you telling yourself the right thing
