Well, good morning, like to greet you in the name of Jesus this
-
morning. It's good to be here with you. It's a beautiful facility,
-
nice place to meet together. Like to to greet you in Jesus name.
-
The King's the king, the King of the kingdom. And there's been a
-
lot of a lot of kings, a lot of kingdoms through time. But
-
what makes this kingdom, what makes this kingdom different than all the other kingdoms,
-
it's that eternal quality. It's an eternal kingdom. And I'd like to
-
think about this kingdom, the King's kingdom, this morning. And i'dn't vite
-
you to turn to the Book of Daniel, like to read Daniel chapter seven,
-
just as a like to take some from the Book of Daniel. So
-
Daniel chapter seven, verse one. In the first year of Belshazzar, King
-
of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed.
-
Then he wrote the dream, and he told the sum of the matters.
-
Daniel speak and said, I saw in my vision by night, and
-
behold the four winds of the heavens strove upon the great sea, and four
-
great beasts came up from the sea, divers one from another. The first
-
was like a lion, and had eagles wings. I beheld till the wings
-
thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth and made stand
-
upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
-
And behold another beast, a second like a bear with a right,
-
and it raised up itself on one side, and add three ribs in the
-
mouth of it, between the teeth of it. And they said, thus
-
unto it, arise, devour much flesh. After this I beheld and lo
-
another like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of
-
a fowl. The beast had also four heads, and the dominion was given
-
to it. After this I saw in the night vision and behold a fourth
-
beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly, and it had great iron
-
teeth he devoured and break in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet
-
of it. And it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it.
-
And it had ten horns. And I considered considered the horns, and
-
behold there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three
-
of the first horns plucked up by the root, by the roots, and
-
behold in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth
-
speaking great things. And I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and
-
the ancient days did sit whose garment was white as snow, and the hair
-
of his head like the pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame,
-
and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth
-
from before him. Thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten
-
thousands stood before him. The judgment was set, and the books were open.
-
I beheld then, because of the voice of the great words which the
-
horns spake. I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body
-
destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the
-
beasts, they had their dominion taken away, Yet their lives were prolonged for
-
a season. In time, I saw in the night visions, and behold,
-
one like the son of Man came with the clouds of heaven and came
-
to the ancient of days. And they brought him near before him, And
-
there was given him dominion and glory in a kingdom, and all people,
-
nations and languages should serve him. His dominion was an everlasting dominion, which
-
shall not pass away. In his kingdom, that which shall not be destroyed.
-
I Daniel was grieved in my spirit, in the midst of my body,
-
and the visions of my head troubled me. And I came near into
-
the one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all
-
this. So he told me and made me know the interpretation of the things.
-
These great beasts, which are four or four kings, which shall rise
-
out of the earth, but the saints are the most high. I shall
-
take the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever. Then
-
I would know the truth of the four beasts, which was diversed from all
-
the others, exceedingly dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails
-
of brass, which devoured break in pieces and stamped the residue with his feet,
-
And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the
-
other which came up and before whom three fell, even of that horn that
-
had eyes and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more
-
stout than his fellows. I beheld, and then the same horn made war
-
with the Saints and prevailed against them, until the Ancient of days came,
-
and the judgment was given to the Saints of the Most High, and the
-
time came that the Saints possessed the kingdom. Thus he said, the four
-
beasts shall be the four kingdoms upon the earth, which shall be diverse from
-
all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down
-
and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are
-
ten kings that shall rise, and then another shall rise after them, and
-
he shall be diversed from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
-
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out
-
the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws.
-
And they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the
-
dividing of times. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away
-
his dominion to consume and to destroy it into the end. And the kingdom
-
and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven shall be
-
given to the people of who the Saints are the most of the most High,
-
whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions will shirt serve and
-
obey him. Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me,
-
Daniel, my coggitations much much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me,
-
but I kept the matter in my heart. Interesting vision of Daniel here,
-
I've a I don't know if I've ever heard of a I've heard some
-
pretty wild dreams in my life, a lot of them from other people.
-
But they're they're kind of interesting to listen to. They don't make a lot
-
of sense, but they can be pretty fascinating. But this vision of Daniel,
-
and it's very interesting. And I'll say right away, I'm not prophecy
-
experts, so but what I what I get out of this is very fascinating.
-
It's been very interesting to me. But so this vision, he's it's
-
at night and he's seeing the sea. And now out of this sea it's
-
this, this, this the wind strove four winds strove. So it's like
-
this category five storm at night on the ocean, or maybe maybe more than
-
that, maybe it's a seven or eight category. There's huge it's tapping.
-
If you think about the ocean and the sea and the Bible, tapping into
-
some of the deepest fears of mankind, this ocean, the sea, storm,
-
hurricane at night. But then out of this, out of this tremendous
-
storm, comes these beasts. And uh, I'm not scared afraid of the
-
dark like maybe I used to be, but for for a lot of humans,
-
for children, for us, this taps into another fear, these the
-
tremendous beast and uh m hm. The first one in verse four is a
-
lion with eagles wings, and a lion is known as the king of the
-
beast. And did you know that? I had to look it up,
-
but an eagle is considered, at least by one place I looked up,
-
an eagle is considered the king of the air. So they have this cross
-
breathe, this terrible beast, King of the air, King of the King
-
of the beast. They say that even a golden eagle can challenge a lion.
-
Did you know that? I guess they're huge, and if they get
-
in the right right place they can maybe scare a lion. I'm not sure.
-
But so this was a Babylonian kingdom, Nebukanezer, the king of kings,
-
as I understand it. Then we have the bear with three ribs,
-
and he was the king of Persia, and he was actually the last king
-
during Daniel's life, so just a little context there. Then there was the
-
leopard with four wings. It's not quite like the line on the egle,
-
but it still kind of a cross breeds, still powerful. And this was
-
what I understand is Alexander the Great or the Greek Empire. And then verse
-
seven and eight we have the beast that was terrible, and it talks about
-
the ten horns and the iron teeth and kind of gives almost more description on
-
what this beast did. It really was destructive, devoured and stamped the residue
-
with his feet broken pieces. And so Daniel has this vision of four kingdoms,
-
four terrible, terrifying kingdoms, and it says there that he watched this
-
all play out, this whole thing happen until I beheld the thrones, until
-
they were all cast down. I don't know how this was in his dream,
-
if the sea calmed and but these beasts all and then it says that
-
there was a fifth kingdom. He describes another kingdom here and he talks about
-
the ancient of days in verse nine. There his hair was pure like wool
-
on a fiery, fiery throne. His throne was fiery flame. Talks about
-
the one who's like the son of man, maybe the one nebuchan Ezer saw
-
in the furnace. Which kingdom is this? Which kingdom was his fifth kingdom?
-
It was the King's kingdom, the King's kingdom. And I've been reading
-
through the Book of Daniel. Daniel was an amazing person. I think anytime
-
I read through that book, and a lot of especially those of us as
-
men, I think about the Book of Daniel, and I think about Daniel
-
what I went through, and I wonder could if I'd done what could have
-
I done what Daniel did and resisted those temptations and managed to come out where
-
Daniel did with all the issues that he faced. And I asked myself the
-
question, what was it? That was it? How was Daniel able to
-
do with that? What was the key for Daniel to be able to do
-
that? Was he just a very very charismatic person. He just had a
-
way with kenings, with kings, the kenachh to get along with very important
-
royal royal people. He lived through a lot of four kings. Nebukanazer bel
-
Shaz de Duras and Cyrus and uh these were very powerful kings, very unpredictable
-
and dangerous individuals maybe like Kim John Un or Putin or somebody, just as
-
people he did not want to mess with or rub the wrong way. You
-
know how he did it. Daniel was a part of the Fifth Kingdom.
-
Daniel was a part. He was a citizen of the king's kingdom. And
-
Daniel always reminded these other kings. He didn't care who is around. He
-
always reminded these other kings about which kingdom he was a part of, about
-
the Fifth Kingdom, and think about some of the kings he was through,
-
you know, the reign of nebecan Ezra. He had a dream one time
-
and Daniel interpreted that dream and he said, one day you're going to eat
-
grass like a cow, like the oxen of the field out there in the
-
pasture. And you know the story. How he went and he stood in
-
front of his kingdom, his kingdom, Nebicanezer's kingdom. He looked out over
-
that kingdom and he said, is not this the great Babylon that I have
-
built for my power, by my power, for my honor. And in
-
that moment he was struck down, and he spent seven years eating grass like
-
a like like our cattle do. And Danel Daniel, when he presented this,
-
he gave him fair warning. He said, you're gonna do that for
-
seven years till you know that the most High God reigns in the affairs of
-
men, and he sets up who he wants to. Daniel never back down
-
from that. He always reminded the kings that he was around of the Fifth
-
Kingdom. This is how he survived in the world. He did these great
-
beasts and the storms. Belshazzer and he was this proud, arrogant son of
-
steps and I'm gonna say it was of Nebekanezzer. And he he was drinking,
-
you know, the temple cups, and a hand came and rode on
-
the wall. You imagine if that happened. Just just terrified this great king.
-
And he called in the queen said, I know a man whose spirit
-
of the of the gods is in him. He can interpret this. And
-
Daniel came in and he said. The king said, I'll give you up
-
to a third of the kingdom. And Daniel said, let your rewards be
-
to another. He knew where his citizenship was he didn't want to be a
-
part ruler of this kingdom, this world's kings. And he said, you
-
know, you knew all this, you knew your dad's story. You were
-
there, you saw what happened, and yet you did not humble yourself.
-
Daniel always was ready to remind the people of the king's kingdom. Drias he
-
really liked Daniel, you know, but it's so typical of politics. He
-
got himself all tangled up and contradicting himself and ended up with the law that
-
he couldn't back out of. And now he was throwing one of his best
-
friends into the lions den because of it. And he comes running down there
-
in the morning and he said, Daniel, it was your daddy able to
-
save you. And Daniel said, my God sent angels to deliver me.
-
Cyrus. He was the one with the bear with three ribs. We don't
-
know. I don't know a lot about him. I think he was actually
-
a little more tolerant towards the people, the Jewish people, and help them
-
go back and rebuild the temple. But but Nevick and As when I talked
-
about a little bit more, because he had a vision and a dream that
-
paralleled this one I just read in Daniel chapter seven. And it was one
-
with a big image that went up to heaven and it was gold at the
-
top and silver and what it was at brass and then iron mixed with clay
-
at the bottom. And Daniel had this this great, big dream of this
-
statue and he couldn't remember it. And uh, he said, he's gonna
-
kill all the wise men, and Daniel said, don't do that. I
-
serve a god that can tell dreams of God of heaven, he said.
-
And this is this story is in Daniel chapter two. But as Daniel described
-
this, this whole story to him about all the different kingdoms, like like
-
we just talked about here in this in this uh. In Daniel chapter seven,
-
Daniel told Nebucannadie said, you are You're the king of kings, You're
-
the gold head, You're the best there is. You're at the top of
-
this image. I can imagine that really really puffed up his ego. Made
-
him feel good, you know, that he was the golden head of this
-
image that he had. But Daniel said, guess what, Silver's coming.
-
Silver's coming. And I was talking to a man the other day about these
-
things, and I told him what I was studying here. It's an important
-
thing to remember the peak of your life, peak of your health, peak
-
of your wealth, of your kingdom, everything's going for you're you're the top
-
of everything. Just remember silver's coming. And that's what Daniel reminded him,
-
because even the greatest kingdom doesn't last forever. And Daniel again reminded him of
-
this fifth kingdom, the King's Kingdom, Daniel chapter two. It's a as
-
I understand that the same same vision here, same same dreamer or image.
-
But Daniel said, he said that the king saw in his dream this statue
-
and everything about it, and then out of this great, big mountain was
-
that stone was carved out of this mountain, and this stone came down and
-
just crushed these kingdoms to absolute powder, until they were just like the chaff
-
of a threshing floor. He says, there and Daniel chapter two, till
-
the wind just carried away the chaff. And then this rock continued to grow
-
after it had crushed these other kingdoms to absolute powder. This rock continued to
-
grow and to grow and to grow until it became a mountain that filled up
-
the whole earth. It's an interesting prophecy about somebody we read about later in
-
the Bible. Luke chapter twenty. It says that the stone which the builders
-
rejected, the same has become the head of the corner. Whomsoever shall fall
-
upon that stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever shall fall it will grind
-
him to powder. It's an interesting dynamic to think about which side of the
-
equation we're on the king's kingdom. And then Daniel summed up Nevig and Ezra's
-
dreamed there in verse forty four. He said, in the days of these
-
kings, the gold, silver, brass, iron, and clay. He
-
said, in the days of these kings shall the God of Heaven set up
-
to the kingdom, which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not
-
be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all
-
these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. You think about the beast in
-
chapter seven, how terrible those were, and yet and terrible these kingdoms were,
-
and yet the prediction of what's going to happen to them, they were
-
going to be taken apart, They're going to be destroyed. I thought about
-
this, how that you know, there's been a lot of kingdoms. Since
-
we live in the United States of America and that's considered. We keep being
-
told by our politicians that this is the most powerful nation on earth. And
-
I'm not sure why they weren't in the Book of Daniel. But the point
-
is that these kingdoms are going to be destroyed, They're going to be taken
-
away. What has happened all these all these kingdoms? There's a I don't
-
know. There's there's a very interesting poem that I've I've seen many times or
-
I've thought about in connection with this. The title of the poem is Ozzi
-
Mandias and this was written some by Shelley Puerce Shelley. He lived in the
-
early eighteen hundreds. But Ozzi Mandius was the nickname for the pharaoh Pharaoh Ramsey's
-
the second, who possibly was the pharaoh that Moses encountered. And they found
-
an image of him a statue, a giant statue, as what had been
-
a statue had fallen over in the sand, but I guess over in Egypt
-
somewhere. They found this statue out in the desert, and it was a
-
huge statue. It was a good handsome likeness of this fierce king Ramsey's the
-
second and on the pedestal where these were the words that I am, Ozzi
-
Mandius, king of Kings. If anyone would know how great I am and
-
where I lie, let him surpass any of my works. But see when
-
they found him years later, and when Shelley would have written this poem,
-
this whole image had fallen over, had broken up, and just the sands
-
of time had just destroyed it. And so he wrote this poem. And
-
I like this poem because that depicts what's going to happen to all kingdoms,
-
all kingdoms, but the King's kingdom, King's kingdom. Ozzi Mandez I met
-
a traveler from an antique land who said, two vast and trunkless legs of
-
stone stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, half sunk,
-
a shattered visage lies, whose frown and wrinkled lip and sneer of cold
-
command tell that its sculpture. Well, these passions read which yet survived,
-
stamped on these lifeless things the hand that mocked them and the heart that fed,
-
And on the pedestal these words. My name is Ozymandias, King of
-
Kings. Look on my works, he mighty and despair nothing besides remains round
-
the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bear the lone and level sands
-
stretched far away. It's something serious to think about for the kings of this
-
earth, for all of us, you know, because silver's coming. I'm
-
fifty years old now, and I grew up in the grew up in the
-
Willamette Valley, and I love the farm I love the culture which my father,
-
my dad, he was involved in the seed business. And in my
-
little world, these farmers, these these farmers that I heard my dad talked
-
about were they were like the kings to me, the kings of the Willamette
-
Valley, and they owned all this land and farmed, and it's amazing to
-
me. Just the other day, Dad left a message on my phone or
-
called me and said, hit another one died. I just I just remembered.
-
I remember being in his warehouse loading trucks and box cars out of his
-
warehouse. I remember how his funny stories and the land he farmed, and
-
the things he said. All these kingdoms, and you know, my little
-
kingdom and how little it is. But these are beests and the issue is
-
which side which king? And I want to talk about that a little bit.
-
This thing of separation. I'm not going to talk about separation, but
-
the thing of separation is really clear here. Either you're aligned with the beasts,
-
you're trying to make a pet out of a cross between a lion and
-
a golden eagle, or else your part of the King's Kingdom, like Daniel
-
was. And Daniel didn't try to make pets out of these beasts. He
-
was part of the Fifth Kingdom, part of the King's Kingdom. And I
-
think about you know, if you think about it just a little bit,
-
you take up just think about the earth, this round, beautiful globe spinning
-
through a dark space, and hearing all this on this earth is all these
-
people, these kingdoms, these empires, you know Hitler, good and evil
-
men, and we're right over here, and God's looking at this, and
-
you know hear Prutin is trying to take over Ukraine and powerful United States is
-
going to send them weapons. What that looks like for like from heaven,
-
it's little firecrackers going off Israel and Hamas to us, this is this could
-
overtake us. This is a big deal. This this could something. There's
-
bad things that could happen because of this, and over here around the other
-
side, wherever it is. It is Taiwan and China, and they say
-
that's a oh, that could be a terrible thing of China invaded Taiwan.
-
Did you know that in the average car there's something like three hundred semiconductors and
-
I guess up to three thousand, and these teslas and electric cars. There's
-
semiconductors in your fridge and your microwave, and your phones, and tractors and
-
equipment, factory equipment. Imagine if that's if that stopped, it'd be would
-
be way worse than COVID. There's all these scenarios and here here, above,
-
here, above all this, well, this beast is incoherent, devouring
-
beast is destroying humanity. There's a god in heaven that's looking here, and
-
he's watching all this. He's watching these beasts destroy themselves. He's set up
-
a king he's set up a kingdom that no, no putin, No Kim
-
Jong Yang no, she can destroy, can disrupt. And I don't I
-
don't know. Maybe they're more right than we are in the United States.
-
I'm not sure. We live here so we get biased. But it's all
-
the world's kingdoms and there. I just like to think about this. He's
-
the eternal Dominion, and God of Heaven is looking down, and they're at
-
the right hand of the Father. Is the son of Man, the Son
-
of God, the Messiah, Jesus is at the right end of the God
-
making intercession for us, making incesion. The same God there was somehow making
-
intercession to make sure Daniel wouldn't get gobbled up by the lions that night,
-
just one man in that Babylonian kingdom, and God cared about him. People
-
like you and I can be a part of that kingdom that the people like
-
Daniel are part of that of the King's kingdom. We talked about a little
-
bit Daniel seven, the ancient of days of the King's Kingdom Verse fourteen.
-
And there was given him a dominion and glory and a kingdom and all people,
-
nations, languages, all these people are going to be a part of
-
it. It's not going to be just a certain race, a certain group
-
of people certain time Verse eighteen and nine eighteen to twenty two. It says
-
that the saints are going to take the kingdom. That's you and I.
-
There's people like you and I that have given our allegiance in our hearts to
-
the king, the wound be part of the king's kingdom, and verse twenty
-
seven at the end there but verse and I just want to go briefly a
-
little bit through Daniel. I'm not going to read it, but chapter eight.
-
I read through the Book of Daniel different times here preparing for this.
-
But Daniel, chapter eight, we have another vision of the goat and the
-
Ram. And I don't know what all this is. I don't think the
-
Ram was like the Lamb of God. I think it was another kingdom of
-
this world. We understood it. But this Ram and this goat could have
-
been the Greek Empire and the Means and the Persians. That's what I read.
-
That part doesn't matter. These kingdoms are just going at it, just
-
trying to destroy themselves. And then in verse twenty four of that chapter,
-
it says and it says, and his power is talking about one of the
-
beasts, and his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power.
-
And he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper and practice, and he
-
shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. I wonder what you thought when
-
you read, well, I wondered about those verses for what is that he'll
-
destroy wonderfully? And again I'm not making claims here because I'm not a prophecy
-
expert. But what I'll tell you what comes to my mind is this idea
-
of destroying wonderfully. I should have looked it up in another version, I
-
guess, but I didn't, so it It reminds me of somebody that's that's
-
kind of ingenuitive about how they go about it, like controlled demolition, and
-
they kind of have a system to it and they know how to do it.
-
It says with practice, doesn't it say that? There with and practice
-
and she'll prosper. Remind me of the United States of America, the way
-
they're going about aligning up things against I just heard an interesting story from a
-
young lady that was she was an older older lady came to our place.
-
She talked about this incident she had in an airport. She had forgot her
-
ID and she was praying, praying, and this big tall TSA officer came
-
up started visiting with her. The long story short, he helped her through.
-
She got through, She got she was going to a funeral, really
-
wanted to go, and she's praying about this and this big TSA officer came
-
over. She hadn't meta. I looked just like you, and I'm over
-
and talked to her where you go and said, what religion are you?
-
She took her over to the side. What religion are you? So I'm
-
a Christian identify with the Mennonites. He said, persecution is coming for us,
-
and he walked away. He showed destroy wonderful m hmm. Now if
-
we go to Daniel chapter nine, and this is the one that I really
-
like, because Daniel starts to read this, he is he has seen these
-
visions. He don't know what to do with and so what does he do?
-
I think there's some real principles here for you and I have when we
-
get in ourselves in this it worked up by semiconductors in war. What does
-
Daniel do? He goes to the Word of God. He goes to the
-
Book of Jeremiah and he begins to read it, and he begins to understand.
-
You know, when he was taken captive. It's like a lot of
-
things happened to when we're little. We don't understand what happened. I know
-
he was a youth, but he gets taken captive, and now all these
-
years later, he's reading about it. He's reading why we were taken captive,
-
and he just starts to cry and repent and cry out to God when
-
he's reading from Jeremiah the Prophet, and he repents and for the people for
-
himself. He says in verse seventeen, chapter nine, Now therefore, O
-
our God, hear the prayer of thy servant and his supplications, and cause
-
thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake,
-
Oh my God, and climb thine ear and hear open thine eyes and
-
behold our desolations and the city which is called by thy name. For we
-
do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great
-
mercies. O Lord, here, O Lord, forgive, O Lord,
-
hearken and difernaught for thine own sake, Oh My God, for thy city
-
and thy people are called by thy name. And he says, there,
-
while I was speaking and praying and confessing my sins and the sins of the
-
people of Israel, presenting my supplication before the Lord, before God of the
-
holy Mountain of my God. While I was speaking, the man Gabriel came
-
to me, and what Gabriel said was prophecy. He said something this seventy
-
weeks. And I did a little looking into that, and it's a little
-
bit interesting how some people have that figured out. Seventy weeks equals seven years,
-
so seventy times seven years before in their ninety years, and they have
-
that figured out to where it comes out right at the right at the time
-
of Jesus' birth or crucifixion or something. I mean, to the year according
-
to some of the things. I don't know how important that all is to
-
look at, but it is very interesting how that happened. But here's the
-
point that I'm trying to bring out with Daniel, is that, so this
-
Gabriel comes and he says, listen, while he was repenting, okay,
-
up, while he's repenting, Gabriel comes and said, listen, the Messiah
-
is coming. There's a kingdom coming. While he's repenting, that's the point.
-
While he's repenting, Gabriel says, the Messiah is coming, the Kingdom
-
is coming, Thy Kingdom come. Interesting how that happened. He is confessing
-
and repenting and he has told the Messiah is coming. There's a Kingdom coming.
-
You know, it's still that way today when Jesus came in Luke chapter
-
twenty or Matthew chapter four. Did you know that the first thing Jesus began
-
to preach by some accounts, just looking at the Bible, and if you
-
got read in there you can just very quickly figure that out. But in
-
Matthew, at least, the first thing Jesus began to teach, that's what
-
repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. You know what the second
-
thing he taught, just like two verses down, follow me and I will
-
make you fishers of men. So it's very interesting, how, Daniel,
-
how this paralleled and how that's still the way it is when we repent,
-
the Messiah comes and the Kingdom comes into our hearts. And Jesus as he
-
preached, you know, right after Matthew chapter four, the Sermon on the
-
Mount, and Jesus often preached that kingdom, the Kingdom of and the Kingdom
-
of God is like. And the parables and the stories he told were all
-
a lot of them. Most of them were about the kingdom, the Kingdom
-
of Heaven, the everlasting kingdom, and that's where this kingdom was established when
-
this rock, as I understand it, maybe could it be that rock was
-
hewn out of the mountain and this kingdom began to fill up the whole earth,
-
And maybe Rome was the last kingdom, I think is what i'd read,
-
the last beast. And so this kingdom is warring against this rock and
-
trying to crush the rock, and the rock is crushing it because of the
-
resurrection, and people are repenting and getting baptized and joining the kingdom, and
-
this mountain is filling up the earth. And I was part of the goal
-
here was try to give this kingdom from God's perspective, Like God is looking
-
down on this earth, and this is happening, these great beasts. There's
-
storm, there's people running around scared and crying out to God, repenting,
-
but they're becoming a part of the Fifth Kingdom, the King's Kingdom. And
-
I think it might help a little bit if we look at it, if
-
we want to see how the king the King's Kingdom from the king's perspective,
-
We could look at it a little bit from the perspective Jesus was looking at
-
things when he was here on earth, and when Jesus was here on earth,
-
there was people were broken. There was broken people all around him.
-
There's a cripple, the blind, the sick, the destitute, and these
-
people were not made for this kingdom. You know. I was thinking about
-
this, how in our town we live close to the Indian reservation and these
-
people are broken people. They're into drink, they're into a lot of things.
-
And often we talk about how the white men are at fault, you
-
know, the white men did it to them, but was it really it's
-
partly the white men, but the kings of this earth, ambitions of men
-
of other kingdoms, is really what did this to them? Really what destroyed
-
them? And sometimes when i'm central organ there and going down through there,
-
I think about what it must have been like hundreds of years ago, when
-
these dear Indians are beautiful people, gentle by nature. It seems like they're
-
what it must have been like for them to just have the planes and to
-
be here back before all this was disrupted, when they're not passed out,
-
and I think how they weren't made for this. They weren't made for this.
-
They weren't made for the way they got treated. They weren't made for
-
all these things. But neither were we We weren't made for this, We
-
weren't made for the sins that get a hold of us and destroy our lives
-
and our souls. But the King came to do more than just make than
-
to just feed the hungry. He came to make citizens of his kingdom.
-
Over the last couple of years, I was helping Latino guy Mexican man become
-
a citizen in the United States. He wanted to tide. Loaned him some
-
money and he did. The process took quite a while, he got all
-
done. He was so proud of being a citizen in the United States.
-
And then recently I heard about some of my relatives getting their children and going
-
and become citizens of Canada. And I'm like, well, maybe I should
-
be make my family a citizen of Canada. And maybe I should have helped
-
him become a citizen of Canada. Which king was Daniel's favorite? Which empire
-
was he a city? Which was which was his favorite king? To vote
-
for the campaign for? What did Jesus say? My kingdom is not of
-
this world. Jesus came to make people that would be like Daniel in a
-
kingdom of darkness. And I just want to read the last couple of verses
-
here in closing in Daniel chapter twelve, Verse one to three. Now just
-
leave you at a question here, which kingdom are you a part of?
-
In verse two there where it says that many who sleep will come up out
-
of the ground, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting
-
contempt. Which kingdom are you a part of? And at that same time
-
shall Michael stand the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people.
-
And there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was
-
a nation, even to them to that same time. And at that time
-
thy people shall be delivered everyone that shall be found written in the book.
-
Any of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some
-
to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that
-
be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn
-
many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever
