Baby bottle ministry is actually really cool.

So it's something for two reasons.

Pick one up, put your put your change in it, but it also put

something in your house that helps you remember to be praying

right that you're that it's, it's a it's a constant reminder

and and you can you can write checks and put them in those

bottles too. But anyway, doesn't just have to

be pocket change anyway there it's a, it's something that we

want to be involved in, right? We want to come alongside those

that are in need and those that need to hear the truth of the

gospel and, and in, in actions, right?

That's a, in actions is what the pregnancy center comes alongside

people that really, really, truly need that love, that care

for. So we are going to be in Exodus

6 and if all goes right, we're going to get all the way to

Exodus 7 today. It's going to be great.

I guess one more thing, baptism as phase making it out.

So baptism guys, is just there. There isn't like a clearance the

pastor gives you, right? If you, if you know the Lord and

you've asked him into your heart, baptism is just telling

the world what you've already done on the inside, right?

So if that's you and you want to be baptized in two weeks, we'll

do that, right? So yeah, that'll be, that'll be

fun. I'm, I'm excited for it, but we

are, we aren't going to be doing it outside.

We are going to have, we have the trop that's under the stage

that we'll set up, but it's a little cold still and muddy in

Sand Creek. So we're not quite there yet.

But I'm hoping to have a baptism outside this summer sometime.

So Exodus 6, we'll just, we're just going to read the first 8

verses. Then the Lord, the Lord said to

Moses, now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh.

For with a strong hand he will let them go, and with a strong

hand he will drive them out of his land.

God spoke to Moses and said to him, I am the Lord.

I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty,

but my, but by my name, Lord, I was not known to them.

I have also established my covenant with them to give them

the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they

were strangers. I have also heard the groaning

of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage.

I have remembered my covenant. Therefore, say to the children

of Israel, I am the Lord, I will bring you out from under the

burdens of the Egyptians. I will rescue you from their

bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and

with great judgments. I will take you as my people,

and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am

the Lord your God, who brings you out from under the burdens

of the Egyptians, and I will bring you into the land which I

swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give give

it to you as a heritage. I am the Lord and Lord I just

lift. Lift up the study, Lord, lift up

just who you are and what you've done that you would speak to us

today, Lord, that you'd speak through me, Lord, but you'd

speak to me as well, Lord, that you'd just be in fill this place

with your spirit that you'd be in our hearts.

You'd be speaking to us. Lord, I pray this in Jesus name,

Amen. So way back when we started the

Exodus study, I talked about that this is God.

Really, this is where God shows up right in the Bible and and

introduces himself. It's not that he wasn't in

Genesis. He's he's in Genesis, but this

is him saying this is who I am, this is what I'm like, this is

this is how to worship me. This is this is him introducing

himself and and he's going to get into the plague soon.

And it's really, it's really going to be him showing his

power over everything that that the other gods, little G gods

that people were worshipping mom attempted to do.

He would, he would go through each and every he's going to go

through each and every one of those and humble them and show

that he has power over all of that.

But this is these the the name of my study today is I am I

will, I have. And if you look at the that

first 8 verses, that is what the Lord is telling Moses is this is

remember who I am. I they didn't know they didn't

know me like you know me, right. He says that, but they but they

didn't know me by my name, Lord. And and that anytime you see in

the Bible Lord in all capital letters, that's the name Yahweh.

And Yahweh is one of those funny.

So Hebrew go quick lesson on that.

Hebrew doesn't when they when they write Hebrew out, they

don't put vowels in. So they just write the

consonants. So Yahweh is YHWH and how

scholars have come up with it is they're, they're it's Yahweh is

how they, so we say Yahweh, right?

But there's no, there is no like that's how we say it, but that's

doesn't mean that's how it's said was said back then.

And the Jewish people took such reverence in it that they

wouldn't say it, right? They wrote it, but they wouldn't

say the word. So I mean, it's one of those

it's it's the purpose of that is God saying I am who I am.

I am, I am, I have been and I will be.

He's bigger than everybody else, right?

So when he says by but by my name Yahweh, I was not known to

them. It's not that they didn't that

that that Jacob or Abraham or Adam hadn't heard the name.

It's that they didn't understand who he was and what he was

capable of. And that is what he is going to

do, right? And we're going to get into,

we're going to do what he, what God does here with Moses.

As he goes through that, he gives him a quick history lesson

right of this is this is what I've said.

I, I got covenants, I've promised things.

I've, I've talked to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and I'm going to

do what I said I'm going to do. But this all starts because

Moses, of course, is, is concerned and he's concerned

probably for a good reason, right?

He went to Pharaoh, he said what God told him to say.

And now nothing. This, this doesn't seem to be

working like you said it was going to work.

You know, Moses or Pharaoh's response to Moses when he went

was and Pharaoh said, who is the Lord, that I should obey his

voice to let Israel go. I do not know the Lord, nor will

I let Israel go. So, and picture Pharaoh's pretty

flat footed here, right? I mean, he doesn't, he doesn't

know who this Yahweh is and and he shouldn't know who this

Yahweh is as far as from from a worldly standard.

This is God showing up and introducing himself.

That doesn't mean that that as believers or as non believers

that we have an excuse to say, well, I didn't know because we

all know, right? That's the we at the end of the

day in this story, Pharaoh's going to going to play dumb and

and I don't know. But guys, we, we were all been

given the same, the, the same world to look at, to know that

it is bigger and you know, creation declares his glory and

the sun God and the tree God and the river God.

And that that doesn't, that doesn't, that doesn't work.

And God's going to go through and just decimate Egypt's God

structure. But the purpose for it.

And we're going to, we're going to go back through Genesis

really quick. And when I say really quick by

the end of the study and just God introducing himself, right

and the different places that he did it.

So right, right at the beginning, Genesis 1, So God

created man in his own image, in his image, in the image of God,

He created him male and female, He created them.

Then God bless them and God said to them, be fruitful and

multiply, fill the earth and subdue it.

Then if you skip down to verse 31, it says then God saw

everything that he made and indeed it was very good.

So the evening in the morning were the 6th day.

So that is so God, God showed up and gave man a simple gave him

the gave him the ability to be fruitful and multiply and subdue

the earth, gave him a job to do right.

And, and he gives him, he gives him dominion over, you know, the

birds of the air and, and every living thing through that.

But when he was done on the 6th day, everything was good.

And God explains to Adam, you know, you have a purpose and a

direction. And then the fall, right, which

we start off with Genesis 36. So when the woman saw that the

tree was good for for food and that it was pleasant to the eye

and the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took the

fruit and ate it. She also gave it to her husband

with her and he ate it. So God's word, which Adam didn't

trust in, said this in Genesis 216.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying of every tree of the

garden you may freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of

good and evil, you shall not eat.

For in that day you eat it, you shall die.

You shall surely die. So even though God, or even

though Adam walked with God, he didn't understand him, right?

He he was he, he had a point where he decided that it was it

was better to walk with the creation than to follow the

Lord. And I'd say that we do that a

lot, right. We, we, we follow our eyes and

not the Lord. Genesis 38 is the culmination of

it all and it's and they and they heard the sound of the Lord

God walking in the garden in the cool of the day.

And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of

the Lord sorry of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Then the then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him,

where are you? So he said, I heard your voice

in the garden and I was afraid I was naked and I hid myself.

The whole point of all of the story, all of his story is to

get us back to this moment, to get us back to the moment where

God walks with us in the cool of the day, right?

That that is his desire. That is what he's looking for.

He's looking to love on his children just like a good

father, right? No matter how you know, you look

at the prodigal son, the father wasn't looking for the son to go

be a slave and work with work in the work, work with the other

servants. He wanted his son back.

That's what God wants. He wants his sons and daughters

back, right? He wants, he wants us to follow

him. And then, then you the next

interaction that God has with somebody is Cain.

And this is a lot like a a moment where God talks to to his

creation like like a parent would talk to a toddler or a

teenager says it's a verse. Sorry, Genesis 46 says so the

Lord Lord said to Cain, why are you angry?

Why is your countenance falling? If you do well, will it not be

acceptable if you do, if you do not do well, sin lies at the

door and its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.

And this is this is God reasoning with Cain, right?

He can see what's coming and he's like, just don't do it,

right. This is just follow me.

Just do it, you know, follow what I'm saying.

Do what I say, not because not because we don't do what God

says, because it's an order. We do what I God says because it

is good and Cain, and that's really what God's telling him

is, is if you do well, will it not be accepted?

It is good to do well. But verse 8 Now Cain talked with

Abel his brother, and it came to pass when they were in the field

that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and killed him.

And the Lord said to Cain, where is your brother?

And he said, I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?

And he said, what have you done? The voice of your brother's

blood cries out to me from the ground.

And this is when we decide to do our own thing, we we are

automatically opposite the Lord and and this is just these

little moments that God is. So you got to remember all these

little stories that I'm reading. This is these are stories Moses

would know right They were whether they were written,

whether they were written down or they were they were oral

traditions. Moses would know these stories

and he would these are things God is is bringing up and just

know who I am put it all together.

But in all of this you have Cain.

The next interaction you have with anybody is, is really a

picture of there is hope and it's actually a guy that is

phase one of phase favourites and it's a man who walked with

God, not self right. And his name's Enoch.

And I'm sure you guys all know the it's it's really when the

first time you read the read Genesis and you get to all the

begats. It's the it's the thing that

sticks out a lot because it's a lot of genealogy that so and so

begot So and so we got so and so we got so and so.

And then you get to this one guy and it says after he begat

Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had sons and

daughters. So all the days of Enoch were

365 years And Enoch walked with God and he was not for God took

him. And you know, when you're first

a believer and you're reading Genesis because you're going to

start at the beginning of the book and you get to that.

What does that mean? Took what?

What is that? So he walked with God and God

took him. Well, if you go to Second Kings,

there's a kind of a what that might look like, and it's Second

Kings 211 Then it happened as they continued on and talked,

that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire and

separated the two of them. And the Elijah went up by a

whirlwind into heaven. And this is this is Elijah was

was a prophet and just did right in the side of the Lord and

walked with God and God took him.

The the cool thing about Elijah and Enoch is they were no

different than us. They they weren't, they weren't

supernatural beings. They were just, they had a

nature just like we do. It's and James 5/17 it says

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours.

And and so that is something we can do is walk with God, right?

That's as in Ecclesiastes is where one of the places I get

it, but it says all are from dust and I'll go to dust.

We're all dirt, right? We all have the same nature.

We are. We we were made by God, but we

were made by God to follow him, to serve him, but not because we

have anything to offer that game, right?

He is he is the one that's important in that in that

relationship. He is the one that's important,

right? He is the the purpose that that

relationship even exists. As you as you go through the

word, as you go through the Bible, you got to remember that

this is all a family. That's when I back when I said

it's not we don't get to, we don't get to have an excuse.

You know, it's what about the pygmy and pygmies in Africa.

They haven't heard, haven't heard about Jesus.

Why are they responsible? Because everybody is responsible

because God has God has spoken to each of us, right?

And and it's that denial of him that is the problem in in Adam's

day, in Noah's day, this was a family.

It was a big family, but it was a family.

It is, you know, Adam, Adam and Eve had sons and daughters and

they had sons and daughters and they had sons and daughters and

so on and so on. You know, they lived for

hundreds and hundreds of years. So they, they populated the

earth quickly. If you you can do a a math

figuring on it and it is an immense amount of people in a

very short amount of time. If they just had a regular

regular level of growth. I showed in in 400 year in 400

years the Israelites would have been 2 million people and they

didn't live as long as the pre flood people did.

So there would have been a lot of people when God gets to

Genesis 6 and the Lord said I will destroy man whom I have

created from the face of the earth, both man and beast,

creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have

made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes

of the Lord. So Noah found favor.

God looked down and saw Noah as a man who heard the law of his

heart and listened to it. Noah wasn't saved by works,

right? Noah Noah truly was the first

guy that it show. I mean Enoch, but the this is

the story about Noah and it's really the guy that that did the

thing right. He got in, he sat down and he

held on and and literally by the end of the the flood, that's

literally what he did, right? He he got in the he got in the

boat. He the door closed, he sat down

and he held on for the ride. But Noah wasn't.

Noah wasn't the star of that show, right?

God was. And God, God did, right?

I will, I am. I have he.

He is always working and. So that finally brings us to

Abraham and Abraham. Before he was named Abraham, he

was called Abram. So this is before God changed

his name. In Genesis 12 it says now the

Lord had had said to Abram, get out of your country from your

family and from your father's house to a land that I will show

you. I will make you a great nation,

I will bless you, make your name great.

You shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless

you. I will curse those, curse him

who curses you, and you, all the families of the earth shall be

blessed. And then we get to the covenant

that God's talking about in Genesis 15.

And it's then he brought him out.

And this is God talking to Abraham.

Then he brought him outside and said, Look now towards the

heaven, and count the stars, if you were able to number them.

And he said to him, so shall your descendants be.

And he believed in the Lord, and he accounted it to him for

righteousness. Then he said to him, I am the

Lord who brought you out of the earth, Chaldeans, to give you

this land to inherit. And he said, Lord God, how shall

I know that I will inherit it? So he said to him, Bring me a

three-year old heifer, a three-year old female goat, a

three-year old ram, a turtle dove, and a young pigeon.

Then he brought all these to him and cut them in two down the

middle, and placed each piece opposite the other.

But he did not cut the bird birds in two.

And then when the vultures came down on the carcass, Abram drove

them away. Now when the sun was going down,

a deep sleep fell upon Abram, and behold the horror, and a

great darkness fell upon him. Then he said to Abram, Now

certainly, sorry, no, certainly that your descendants will be

strangers in a land that is not theirs and will serve them, and

they will afflict them for hundreds of years, 400 years.

And also the nation whom they serve, I will judge after,

afterwards they shall come out with a great, with great

possessions. Now As for you, you shall go to

your father's in peace. You shall be buried at a good

old age, but in the 4th generation they shall return

here. For the iniquity of the Amorites

is not yet complete. And it came to pass when the sun

went down and it was dark that behold, there appeared a smoke

smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between the two

pieces. And if I was to break that down,

that's, that is that is a full study of a whole lot going on.

But this is remembering, this is what God is remembering.

This is when he's talking to Moses and he's saying, I'm

remembering my covenant. This is what he's talking about.

And a covenant in the Old Testament covenant is, is like a

contract, but way more serious. It is, it is unbreakable.

It will get you killed because the idea of splitting the

animals and and passing between them is what if, if I do not

fulfil my part of this, then let let be done to me what has been

done to these animals, right. So it is, it is serious, but the

the trick, the the trick to this covenant is Abraham didn't make

it. God did.

Abraham didn't walk with God between the between the animals.

Abraham sat on the side and and God walked between them.

And so this covenant is unrevocable, right?

It's, it is God said it will happen and there is not this is,

this is a grace covenant. This is, it's going to happen

because God said not because Abraham did right and then the

net. And then of course, just to

point out that Abraham is dirt just like the rest of us.

Abraham left that covenant that God put him to sleep and walked

down the middle of it and said this is going to happen.

And Abraham walked out of that meeting and went, well, I got to

go have a baby, I got to go do something.

So he, he or Sarah gave him his servant, her servant girl.

And they made Ishmael, which has been a has been a thorn in

Israel's side ever since, because Ishmael is where Islam

comes from. And just our flesh is always so

helpful. But that goes on.

And then Isaac, right in Genesis 1719, it says then God said no

about using Ishmael. Sarah, your wife shall bear you

a son and you shall call his name Isaac.

I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting

covenant with his descendants after him.

And this is so these are so these are the, the moments that

we get to see God showing these guys what His plan is, but

they're they're hearing him, but they're not understanding who he

is. Jacob.

Jacob probably has the the moment of a vision, but he's

Jacob and God before in Jacob's life has done many things and

after this he does many things. But this moment is a moment that

they write songs about. It's Jacob's ladder, but it's

Genesis 2813 to 14 says and behold, the Lord stood above it

and said, I am the Lord, and that I am the Lord is Yahweh,

God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac.

The land on which you lie I will give give to you and your

descendants also. Your descendants shall be the

dust of the earth. You shall spread abroad to the

West and to the east and to the north and to the South, and in

you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be

blessed. So in those in those covenants,

in those promises that he's giving guys, Jesus is there.

Those are. This is where this is where the

Messiah is going to come from. And Israel as a whole spends

their entire existence trying to work that into existence.

And we as Christians, well, I shouldn't even say that we as

dirt before I'm a believer, after I'm a believer spend a

whole lot of my time working for God and he's just not

interested. He is he is interested in me

following him, but he's the important part of that, right?

They didn't they, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, none of them knew

who the I am of the I am who I am was.

They didn't get it. They every time he spoke to

them, they went to work and Joseph would be, would be the

Jacob's favorite son and he had dreams.

And so we had visions kind of like, kind of like how Moses got

a, a direct revelation from the Lord.

Joseph got dreams and they sustained him.

I would imagine that that through the darkness in in

Egypt, when he was there, they sustained him.

But in Genesis 39, that the important part in Joseph's life

are these moments of Genesis 39, two, says the Lord, the Lord was

with Joseph and he was success. He was a successful man, and he

was in the House of his master, the Egyptian.

And the master saw the Lord was with him, and the Lord made all

he did prosper in his hands. But the Lord and then it goes on

and farther down and says, but the Lord was with Joseph and

showed mercy, showed him mercy, and he gave him favor in the

sight of the keeper of the prison.

So Joseph's life, it wasn't that Joseph was with God, it was that

God was with Joseph, right. And that is that is does that's

what we get a brag on. There's a a song that I Matthew

West's song today that I was listening to before I and it

says, where's it at? I wrote it down somewhere.

I will, I will find it at some point, but it really is that he,

he's what's important, right? He and I, I say that not because

we aren't important. We are, we are the apple of his

eye, right? We are important enough that he

sent his son down to die on a cross for us to to pay for our

sins so that he have a relationship with us.

But he's, he's the reason for all of it.

And we go on here. This is Moses had this this

history lesson. And then Moses in verse 9.

So Moses spoke thus to the children of Israel.

So Moses goes back to the children of Israel and says, and

they did not heed heed Moses because of the anguish of the

spirit of the cruel bondage. And verse 10 and the Lord spoke

to Moses saying, go and tell Pharaoh, the king of king of

Egypt to let the children of Israel go out of his land.

And Moses spoke before the Lord, saying, the children of Israel

have not heeded me. How then shall the Pharaoh heed

me? I am of uncircumcised lips.

I'm not able in myself. I I can't do this now.

This isn't Moses, this isn't Moses walking away.

This is Moses acting like us right Is I can't and and and I

know there's a song that out there that said, and I never

said you could right, because if you look at what if you look at

that first part, there isn't there isn't anything in here

about Moses doing anything. There is a whole lot of I

statements the Lord uses that is I will I am I appeared I have

right not you will get to work. Go do this right.

This is this is God declaring what he's going to do.

But the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them a command

for the children of Israel and for Pharaoh to bring them the

children of Israel out of the land.

So Moses says I can't do this and God doesn't even I, I read

that and I just think of me with my, my kids growing up and they

used to like, especially if mom wasn't home and I had a chore

list and I'd tell them what we were going to do and one of them

would go, well, that isn't my job, you know, or I did that

last week and she's supposed to do it and I would, I would know

it. They, they know the line and

they both hate it. They both used it on their own

kids now, But did I stutter, which is I, I'm not repeating

you. You're doing the dishes or

you're mowing the lawn. You know, whatever I said you,

you can argue and and throw a fit and do all the things, but I

didn't stutter. I'm sure you heard me and I'm

sure that's what you're going to do, right?

And that's really where Moses, Moses and God is here.

God doesn't back up and go well, let me, let me, let me assure

you, this is what I want you to do now.

He just go tell, go talk to Pharaoh like I told you and he,

he had given him clear direction, right?

Moses understood what he needed to do.

Now, now we get into verse 14 through 25 is a genealogy and

the genealogy is really more of a pedigree of I'm not going to

read the whole thing because you guys don't want me to hear me

mangle those names. But it's, it's Reuben and Simeon

and then Levi and Levi is the, is where Aaron and Moses come

from. And, and that is really his name

means to join, attach or cling. And that is exactly what Moses

and Aaron are going to need to do for the next 40 years, right?

They're going to need to, to be joined to God, to be attached to

him, to cling to him. One of my, you guys get tired of

hearing about the suck thing, but that is really my advice to

anybody going through hard times.

Cling to his feet, cling to his feet.

That is he. He is what's important.

And I say that because no matter what else is going on in our

life, if we have that, we have stability.

If we have him, we have stability.

The world can be falling down around us.

But if we are, if we cling to and attach to him, he gives us

what we need to get through the day.

And and this is 26 through 30 is is more of this.

This is these are the the same Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord

said bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt

according to the armies. These are the ones who spoke to

Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel

from Egypt. These are the same Moses and

Aaron. And it came to pass on the day

the Lord spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt that the Lord's

spoke to Moses saying, I am the Lord, speak to Pharaoh king of

Egypt, that I say to you, But Moses said, Lord, behold, I am,

I am of uncircumcised lips. And how, how shall the Pharaoh

heed me? And God answers Moses this time

and says, the peace that's important to the plan in you.

It's me, right, That when God asks us to do something, guys,

we're not I, I, I've said it 16 times probably during the step,

we're not the important piece, right?

I am not the important piece to Bridges Sandpoint.

Me standing up here. I'm not, I am not the reason

God is and his body is, right? It's we are not, we are not the

important piece. We are, we are that important to

him. So it's not that we're

insignificant, it's that he does the work with through US, right?

Exodus 7 verses one and two, It says so the Lord said to Moses,

see, I have made you as God to Pharaoh and Aaron, your brother

shall be your prophet. You shall speak all that I

command you and Aaron, your brother shall tell Pharaoh to

send the children of Israel out of the land.

So through all of this, I'm I'm, I can't Lord, he says, see, I

have made you right. You know, back in, back in

chapter, I think chapter 4, Moses was complaining about not

being able to speak and he said who makes who makes mouth?

Who makes ears right? If God asks you to do it, you're

not the important piece, right? What, what is important is your,

is your submission and your your surrender to his will to let him

do it, to follow him where he tells you to go.

And, and you know, it's something I just put in here is

if God speaking to you, is he driving you to go?

Is he is he asking you to take a stand or make a statement?

Is it is it yourself that is unsure?

So the God of all creation says he is able to do beyond all we

can ask or think, right. And if we believe that and Paul,

Paul in Ephesians gets to talking about God's grace and

and how how awesome his grace is to be able to he is able right.

It isn't guys. I can't stress enough.

It is not about going to work right?

I do not. I didn't come to sand point and

hey, I'm now a pastor and I'm going to go to work building a

church, right? You know what I go to work

doing? I go to work spending time with

him. And, and if I'm not, if I'm not

spending time with him, if I'm not resting in him, guys, if I

am not letting him do the work, this is a waste of everybody's

time. And, and the only way that it

would, that it would be any good is if he's doing it.

And Ephesians 3 at the end, Paul says this.

For this reason I bow my knee to the Father of our Lord Jesus

Christ, Whom from who? From whom the whole family in

heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you according to

the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with the might

through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in,

in your heart through faith. That you, being rooted and

grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the Saints.

What is that? What is the width and the length

and the depth and the height to to know the love of Christ,

which passes knowledge that you may be filled with all the

fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do

exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think according to the

power that works in us. To Him be glory in the church by

Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.

Amen. That's who we serve and that's

what He expects from us. What He expects is not for me to

go to work. He expects for me to spend time

with Him. He expects for me to to dwell

with Him and and that that is our purpose, right?

Our purpose is to, to accept what he's done in his ability to

do it. You know, it's I put I kind of I

took a bunch of the verses out of the beginning of the chapter

and put in here that Jesus says this right to all my weaknesses,

to all the things that I say Yabba Lord, Yabba Lord, Yabba

Lord. It's like Jesus says I will do

it. I am the Lord.

I appeared, I have established, I have heard, I have remembered,

I am the Lord. I will bring you out of bondage,

I will rescue you, I will redeem you.

I will take you as my people. I will be your God.

I am the Lord. I will give you above and

beyond, I am the Lord. So the the whole point of my

study through Exodus and you guys are are going to get sick

of hearing it, but I hope it sticks because it's it's really

what he tell what he is continually telling me.

You know, I I have here. You could surrender, submit and

abide and in and in our in our simple language that's get in,

sit down and hold on. But that holding on guys, that's

it's hanging out with him, right?

And that hanging out with him, that's where the surrender and

the submit are is nothing I am doing is why I'm a Christian,

that I spend time with Jesus and I I get to know him more and

more and that he, he fills me more and more.

And through that there is as I follow him, there is work that

gets done. But I don't go to work and then

get to know him, right? He, there is nothing in these

statements. The only, the only thing that

somebody else does in Genesis or in Exodus 6 is for with a strong

hand, he will let them go and he will drive them out.

I don't want to be he, because you know who that is.

That would be the enemy, right? That'd be Pharaoh.

I don't want to be that guy. I want to, I want to be the one

that that dwells on the my God already done it.

My, my God is the I am. I will and I have.

He is. All I have to offer is time with

him. And in that time, there's going

to be there's going to be opportunities to pour into

people's lives through what he's already done in mine.

So yeah, it's good stuff. I, I, he is, we're next week or

sorry, not next week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks from now, we're going to

get into the plagues and it's going to be awesome because he

gets to show up. And I mean, the plagues are

another one of those places guys that that just prove the point.

Moses had nothing to do with it. Moses's staff wasn't wasn't in

charge. Moses wasn't in Moses doesn't do

any of them. God does, right?

And that's what God's asking us, right?

Well, he isn't asking us to do any of it.

He's asking us to trust him and go where he tells us to go.

And he's going to do amazing things.

So, Lord, I just lift up this time and thank you.

Thank you for this body of believers.

Lord, thank you for this building and all that you've

already done here, Lord. And I thank you in advance for

all that you're going to do Lord.

I thank you for just your faithful people that want to

follow you wherever you take them Lord, and that you would

speak to us, guide and direct us Lord, and you'd be with us here

today in Jesus name, Amen.
