  1. This is Living Waters of Grace, the teaching ministry of Clark

  2. Wofford, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel of Westmoreland,

  3. County of Greensburg, PA. Now here's Pastor Clark as he

  4. continues teaching through God's Word.

  5. The nations were angry, and your wrath has come, and the time of

  6. the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should

  7. reward your servants, the prophets and the Saints, and

  8. those who fear your name small and great, and should destroy

  9. those who destroy the earth. Then the temple of God was open

  10. in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple,

  11. and there was lightning noises, thunderings and earthquakes and

  12. great hail. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

  13. Amen. In our culture today, sin is

  14. celebrated as if it's no big deal.

  15. Those who follow God openly are mocked for doing so.

  16. It's much like Noah, who is mocked for building the ark when

  17. there had been no rain and no ocean before.

  18. Yet his faith in God did not disappoint.

  19. In today's message, Pastor Clark encourages you not to lose heart

  20. as you trust in God, even when the world looks at you as if

  21. you're out of your mind. God will do as He has said in

  22. His Word, and judgment will one day come upon the world for sin.

  23. Now here's Pastor Clark in Revelation Chapter 15 with

    Revelation 15 chapter mention

  24. today's edition of Living Waters of Grace.

  25. We're to be lovingly and humbly aggressive about righteousness

  26. in this land. Verse 2, it talks about those

  27. who had the victory over the beast.

  28. And this is again the the tribulation martyrs and they

  29. were also described in Revelation Chapter 7, nine

    Revelation 7 chapter mention

  30. through 17. You can check that out later.

  31. These we're reading about now though, the completion of those

  32. who survive the tribulation because that that tribulation

  33. isn't over yet until after the bulls of wrath are poured out

  34. and the battle of Armageddon is over and then the second coming

  35. of Christ occurs. But this period is we're reading

  36. about right now is within the time parameters of the

  37. tribulation. And as I said that the bowl

  38. judgments are still waiting to be poured out.

  39. Now, even though the Antichrist has killed these people in the

  40. in the natural and the body physically, they have victory

  41. over him. And it's a glorious thing that I

  42. love what Jesus says in Matthew 1028.

  43. Do not fear those who kill the body that cannot kill the soul,

  44. but fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body.

  45. And hell. Now I don't know what my and

  46. demise will be, nor do you know what yours will be.

  47. If things get more difficult and our rights are being taken away,

  48. will there come a time where they'll begin to make examples

  49. of Christians? They've done it in past

  50. centuries. Nero did it, you know, and Titus

  51. did it back in 8070. We know it's happened throughout

  52. the history of the church in the the first several thousand

  53. years. And there's more martyrs believe

  54. it the occurring, more martyrdom occurring today than ever before

  55. in countries such as Sudan and Iraq and Afghanistan, you know,

  56. and Iran. It's just horrible what's going

  57. on in Indonesia and other countries that are led and ruled

  58. by Islam. And you don't have the ability

  59. in these countries to stand up as a Christian and proclaim the

  60. gospel of Jesus Christ because if you do, you're threatened

  61. with losing your life. And so many people do lose their

  62. life in these countries. And the wonderful thing is that

  63. they the more the persecution gets heavier and more intense,

  64. the more the church comes alive. I mean, we need some heat.

  65. All of us need heat to wake us up out of our lethargy and our

  66. complacency and our indifference of Oh well, this another Sunday.

  67. One day, if we don't watch it, life will not continually be

  68. like we got used to it being in the good old USA because our

  69. rights and our freedoms are being taken daily.

  70. They are. And if you don't see that

  71. occurring, I don't care. Republican or Democrat, it's not

  72. a, it's not a, a party issue, it's a heart issue.

  73. And so we have people leading our countries, leading our

  74. school systems, leading our local governments that have No

  75. Fear of God before their eyes. And persecution is what brings

  76. life. It brings the gospel out.

  77. It brings many, many people coming to the Kingdom.

  78. And that's what happens in the in the revelation, in spite of

  79. the horror that goes on and all the difficulty, many, many, many

  80. people become Christian. So if it's your your day and

  81. they're taking you to the firing squad or they're taking you to

  82. the gas chamber, they're taking you to the fire pit, you know,

  83. when you're in your mind, you think of, boy, that would be

  84. horrible. I don't want that.

  85. And none of us wanted it and no one in their right mind would

  86. want that. But if they do, we can be

  87. encouraged. What Jesus says do not fear

  88. those who can kill the body. A few moments of discomfort,

  89. right? And we're with the Lord.

  90. You read about those who were martyred in, in, in the fire.

  91. They put him in the fire and, and they're still in there

  92. praising God and, and they, they would cut off their hands and

  93. their arms and they cut out their tongue and, and, and, and,

  94. and they had people in the fire. The last thing they would do

  95. would put their hands up to heaven.

  96. Just showing they only have allegiance.

  97. The martyrs to the King of kings and Lord of Lords.

  98. Verse three and four they sing the song of praise, 2 songs, one

  99. song of Moses and one the song of the Lamb.

  100. And I love what Jesus says in Matthew 517.

  101. Do not think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets.

  102. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

  103. Jesus and Moses are like this, the old covenant and the new

  104. covenant. They come together and the

  105. person of Christ Jesus doesn't say that the law is

  106. inconsequential. It's critical.

  107. It's absolutely a necessity, but we don't get our justification

  108. by keeping the law. We could never keep it.

  109. We all broke it. We still break it.

  110. Christ kept the law. He's a fulfillment of the law.

  111. Law was brought by Moses, and grace and truth was bought by

  112. Jesus Christ. Jesus is very close to Moses.

  113. He anointed Moses in the Old Testament.

  114. He walked with Moses in the midst of his ministry.

  115. Jesus spoke with Moses. If you remember, in Mark Chapter

    Mark 9 chapter mention

  116. 9 on Mont Tabor and the Mount of Transfiguration, Moses and

  117. Elijah were there in the midst with Jesus and Jesus in his

  118. transfigured state, along with Moses and Elijah.

  119. Moses is alive, Elijah is alive, and the Kingdom.

  120. One day we'll see them. It talks about Moses in the book

  121. of Hebrews Chapter 11 verse 23 through 29.

    Hebrews 11:23–29

  122. Verse 27 says by faith he forsook Egypt, and like Moses,

  123. you and I, by faith we forsake this world, not fearing the

  124. wrath of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is

  125. invisible. And I trust every day you and me

  126. are enduring this world and its heartache and its insanity by

  127. trusting him who we can't yet see, who the Bible says not

  128. seeing we believe. So there's this perfect union

  129. between the law of God and between the grace of God Christ

  130. fulfilled what we have been unable to fulfill and the song

  131. is beautiful. The song gives praise to God.

  132. It gives praise to God for his works.

  133. It says great and marvelous are your works.

  134. This would be a good worship song to learn worship team and

  135. put the music, wouldn't it the lyrics here we got great

  136. musicians, you know and and pray that you can put this song to to

  137. to some worship. We can we can sing this song

  138. here at Calvary. God's works great and marvelous

  139. are his works his ways just and true are your ways his

  140. worthiness. You shall not fear you, O Lord,

  141. who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify a name, your name,

  142. for you alone, our holy, for all nations come and worship before

  143. you. The song magnifies God's works,

  144. His ways, His worthiness, and His worship.

  145. All nations shall come and worship before you, for your

  146. judgments have been revealed. So the verse 5 and 6, the angels

  147. are coming now after these things.

  148. I looked and behold, the temple, the Tabernacle, the testimony in

  149. heaven was open. This, this blows my mind.

  150. I mean, I don't know how you guys think about having what it

  151. looks like. And some people have.

  152. You're going to be on clouds with harps and that's all you're

  153. going to do forever. Believe me, that is the farthest

  154. from the truth. I mean, heaven is a physical

  155. realm. It's a dimension that transcends

  156. this space and time, but it's actually more real and tangible

  157. than this world that we're passing through that's going to

  158. one day be destroyed and the new heaven and the new earth is

  159. going to be revealed. Not any.

  160. Will there be a new Jerusalem that will descend out of heaven?

  161. But there'll be a new heaven and a new earth.

  162. So the real estate, the territory that we're going to

  163. have access to in our new bodies, our glorified states,

  164. it's going to be incredible. I mean, the, the beauty and the

  165. things to do and the things to wonder and the things to

  166. experience, You know, we're going to go to heaven and it

  167. isn't going to be like, oh, it's boring.

  168. This is all there is. And I, you know, I'm perfect now

  169. and I, you know, and no, we're going to the Bible says in the

  170. ages to come, he's going to show us his exceeding riches and his

  171. grace toward us in Christ Jesus. I mean, eons upon eons upon

  172. eons. And we're never going to once

  173. say, isn't there anything new here?

  174. Because his mercies will be new just as they are now.

  175. Morning by morning, day by day, every every day, there's going

  176. to be some new cool thing that one of us, Wow, you should see

  177. what I saw the other day. I was 1,000,000 miles from

  178. Pluto. And, and God, he showed me this

  179. thing that I never, you know, and we're all going to be like

  180. that all the time. We're going to be so excited and

  181. so stoked and so in love with God and so in love with Christ

  182. and the Holy Spirit and the Kingdom of heaven that none of

  183. us are ever going to ever long for anything that's on the face

  184. of this earth. Matter of fact, it says later on

  185. he's going to wipe away all tears.

  186. There will be no more remembrance of the former things

  187. for the former things that passed away.

  188. The temple of the Tabernacle of his testimony in heaven, this

  189. literal temple and the Kingdom of heaven.

  190. We study about this in Exodus and Hebrews.

  191. It reminds us of the Tabernacle of meeting with God.

  192. When God told Moses to build this temple, this Tabernacle, it

  193. was based on a pattern of heaven.

  194. If you ever read the specific details of everything that was

  195. design about how that temple was built, the, the, the, the

  196. structure, the parameters, the height, the width, the depth,

  197. the, the different instruments in there that were used to, to

  198. magnify and and glorify God in the midst of the sacrificial

  199. worship system. The, the, the, the color of the

  200. material and the length and the, and I mean, it's a spectacular,

  201. the attention to detail. And when we get to heaven

  202. someday, the Tabernacle that we're going to see is going to

  203. be mind blowing because the beauty of it will exceed

  204. anything that man could have ever made on earth.

  205. The, the, the temple, the Tabernacle that was built on

  206. earth by man with man's hands was only a pattern, a a slight

  207. facsimile of the reality of what was existing in the Kingdom of

  208. heaven. And out of this temple the seven

  209. angels come with the seven plagues.

  210. They bring God's judgment, and these judgments are sent out by

  211. God and by Him alone before His throne.

  212. It talks about their clothing, bright linen, having their chest

  213. girded with golden bands. The bright, pure linen

  214. represents the purity and the holiness of our Savior Jesus

  215. Christ. The gold band represents God's

  216. judgments that are pure and righteous.

  217. And verse 7 and 8, it talks about the four living creatures.

  218. This is fascinating to me and I, I never thought about this when

  219. I read this. You know, the four living

  220. creatures that I read about in Isaiah prior to the Lord's

  221. Supper. What are they doing continually?

  222. They're saying, holy, holy, holy are you, O God, who was and is

  223. and is to come. They do that 24/7, day in and

  224. day out, day in and day out, day in and out, for all eternity.

  225. But they stop here for a moment. One of the four living creatures

  226. give to the seven angels the 7 golden bowls of the wrath of God

  227. who lives forever and ever. It's almost like everything

  228. stops in heaven, this constant sound of holy, holy, holy are

  229. you. O God.

  230. They take and give to the angels what now will bring the ultimate

  231. glory to God, this outpouring of His final just wrath and anger

  232. upon the face of an ungodly world.

  233. I don't know about you guys, but I used to watch like New Year's

  234. Eve thing on TV and I'd have my few drinks at one time and all

  235. that goofy stuff. And you know, I mean party,

  236. whatever it is that we would do. And, and, and, and that's like

  237. Sodom and Gomorrah. When you look at what goes on on

  238. New Year's Eve in Times Square, people are drunk beyond

  239. recognition, having sex in the street, urinating in the street.

  240. This drugs everywhere. I mean everybody all there.

  241. It's like the what it is, guys and gals.

  242. It's the picture of the real cesspool of what this earth

  243. represents to a holy God. It's the masses of humanity.

  244. You give them an opportunity to gather, to basically flaunt

  245. before a holy God, immoral lifestyles.

  246. And they want to know what, when's the next event I can show

  247. up at? When's the next party I can go

  248. to? And God has to look at this and

  249. and then this is what his wrath is going to come out upon.

  250. I mean, it isn't like those people down there.

  251. Many of them have heard the truth of the gospel.

  252. Many of them have family members that are praying for them and

  253. tell them you need a savior. You need to turn from your sin.

  254. You need to repent, you need to get saved.

  255. Oh, I don't want to hear that. I'm tired of hearing that.

  256. Leave me alone. And they just keep running from

  257. it. They're, you know, the the

  258. prodigal. We just want to go out and do

  259. our own thing. And some of us, by the grace of

  260. God, come to our senses and say, there's got to be more to life

  261. than this. Living in this cesspool of sin,

  262. I start to feel so dirty and so filthy and so messed up.

  263. And, and I'm looking up into the heavens at night and the stars

  264. and the skies. And I say there has to be more

  265. to life than what I'm living, that there has to be a reason

  266. why I was created. And then the Holy Spirit begins

  267. to work and begins to draw us to truth.

  268. And we begin to like the next drink or the next sexual

  269. encounter, or the next thing I steal, or the next thing I am

  270. jealous over, the next thing I'm lustful over, the next thing my

  271. greed or my selfishness, it doesn't fulfill me anymore.

  272. It's empty the the next drug. It just doesn't do it for me

  273. anymore. I am so burnt out and so over

  274. this world. And that's why some people sit

  275. in the end of the bed with a gun, thinking there's nothing

  276. else. I'm going to kill myself.

  277. I'm going to take my life, but thank God for the gospel of

  278. Jesus Christ. Thank God for the Gideon Bibles

  279. that are in the hotel rooms when the when the man or the woman's

  280. in there not knowing what to do. And then they're looking and

  281. they open the drawer and they see a Bible and they open it for

  282. the first time. And in the front, it gives them

  283. the plan of salvation. And they read the gospel and

  284. they get saved and they put their gun down or someone who's

  285. sitting in the hotel room and they're scanning the TV, this

  286. looking. And all the sudden they catch an

  287. old Billy Graham evangelistic gospel message or someone else

  288. who's faithful to preach the word in the middle of the night

  289. to some lost soul, and they get saved.

  290. This temple represents the holiness of God.

  291. And the bulls are now given in the midst of the cloud of God's

  292. glory that's filling the temple. There's an old worship song.

  293. I see the Lord and his glory fills the temple.

  294. Holy, holy is the Lord. And so these 7 golden bowls,

  295. they're not a big like a round concave bowl, they're flat like

  296. saucers. And they're used in the Old

  297. Testament for the ritual drinking or the pouring out of

  298. sacrifices upon the altar. Their their contents are quickly

  299. and easily poured out, such as were used in a temple to hold

  300. the fire when the incense was burned.

  301. So it isn't like these huge bowls that they're going to need

  302. 5000 angels to get in the bottom and finally pour it out.

  303. They're they're just waiting just to be tipped.

  304. And as they're tipped, God's judgment flows everywhere.

  305. The temple's filled with the glory of God.

  306. It says in verse 8, as we begin to conclude, the temple was

  307. filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power.

  308. The glory fills the temple. It says no one can enter.

  309. Why can't anyone enter into the temple?

  310. It's no more time of intercession.

  311. There's no one that can go in behind, behind in front of the

  312. the throne of God and say, wait, there's more.

  313. It's over. There's no more time for

  314. intercession. The judgement of God is going to

  315. be poured out. The cloud covers the Tabernacle

  316. of meeting. In the Old Testament, the glory

  317. of the Lord fills the temple. It says Moses in Exodus chapter

    Exodus 40 chapter mention

  318. 40 was not able to enter the Tabernacle of meeting because

  319. the cloud rested above it and the glory of the Lord filled the

  320. Tabernacle. It's referred to the Chicana

  321. glory. It was a coin phrase used by the

  322. Hebrew rabbis that meant that He came to dwell in our midst, the

  323. divine visitation of the presence or dwelling of Jehovah

  324. God on the earth, the visible manifestation of God's glory.

  325. And I sense that sometime I hope you do too, when I come here and

  326. I worship before the Lord. And these worship people,

  327. they're, they're excellent musicians, but that's not what

  328. they're about. These people love Jesus Christ.

  329. Their heart is to truly honor him and to worship him and to

  330. have their eyes on him and to glorify him.

  331. And as they do that, they bring us in with them.

  332. And we're caught up in this sense of the Kabat of God, the

  333. manifest presence of God. And I see many of you, you, you

  334. raise your hand or your, your heads are down or you're about

  335. or some of you are about about on the face of on your face or

  336. wanting to be on your knees because you're so aware of God's

  337. presence in the worship. And that's what God wants us to

  338. experience more and more because as we as we experience his

  339. presence, I don't want to be in sin.

  340. I don't want to be unforgiving. I don't want to be bitter.

  341. I don't want to be jealous. I don't want to be greedy.

  342. I don't want to be vengeful. I want my heart to be made right

  343. with God and experience God's love and heaven.

  344. After these judgments are poured out, we will have access to this

  345. temple always and forever. I love what it says.

  346. IN2013 of Revelation I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,

  347. behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with

  348. them, and they shall be His people.

  349. God himself will be with them and be their God.

  350. So the bowls are poured out. They come from His glory and

  351. from His power, and there's no intercession that can avail at

  352. this point in time because the world is now doomed.

  353. All sinful people on the earth, the Pagan empires will be

  354. brought to their knees and destroyed.

  355. These bowls of wrath are the third woe.

  356. And we've studied that throughout the Book of

  357. Revelation, which is associated with the 7th trumpet and the

  358. end, second coming of Jesus Christ.

  359. And I like to just conclude in Revelation Chapter 11, verse 14,

    Revelation 11:14

  360. it says the second woe is passed.

  361. And again, this is the chronological aspect.

  362. You can't just go from verse to verse, chapter to chapter and

  363. Revelation. You have to flip back to keep

  364. the things in continuity and flow and context.

  365. The second woe is passed. Behold, the third woe is coming

  366. quickly. And that's what we study today,

  367. this third woe that is about to be poured out.

  368. The 7th Angel sounded the the 7th trumpet at the at the end of

  369. this period, beginning into the period of the bowls being poured

  370. out, it says there were loud voices in heaven saying the

  371. kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord

  372. and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.

  373. And the 24 elders who sat before God on the Thrones fell on their

  374. faces and worshiped God, saying, we give you thanks, O Lord God

  375. Almighty, the one who is and who was and who is to come, because

  376. you've taken your great power and reign.

  377. The nations were angry and your wrath has come.

  378. And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that

  379. you should reward your servants, the prophets and the Saints, and

  380. those who fear your name small and great, and should destroy

  381. those who destroy the earth. Then the temple of God was open

  382. in heaven, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple,

  383. and there was lightning noises, thunderings and earthquakes and

  384. great hail. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

  385. Amen. If you're here today and you

  386. don't have a Savior, I can't make you get saved.

  387. I can't save you, but His Spirit can, and I know His Spirit is

  388. present here today. The Holy Spirit convicts you.

  389. It gives you that gnaw. He gives you that gnaw.

  390. Hey, this stuff's true. You got to deal with it.

  391. This is real. You can leave here and try to

  392. forget about it, but you can't. You can run, but you can't hide.

  393. God is coming after you today because He loves you and He

  394. wants to spare you from all these things that are going to

  395. come upon the earth one day, and they could be sooner than later.

  396. As we look at what's happening in the world, we have a sense

  397. that these days are closer than ever.

  398. Thanks for being with us today here on Living Waters of Grace.

  399. We're in the Book of Revelation, and we find it fascinating how

  400. influential and involved the angels are in this book.

  401. They bring about whatever it is that God has instructed them to

  402. do, but it's through their actions that much of the

  403. judgements come on the earth. The angels are in submission to

  404. God as their authority, but He utilizes them in unique ways

  405. throughout this book. Like angels have a specific

  406. purpose from God, you have a unique purpose and plan too.

  407. God wants to use you in your life as a testimony to others

  408. and to bring others who are currently lost into the fold of

  409. God. God would love more than

  410. anything for all who are willing to come to Him for salvation,

  411. but he wants it to be their choice, not a forced situation.

  412. This is the way God works, not forcing himself on anyone, but

  413. giving each person free will. If you're interested in learning

  414. about this choice that's free and that it's a gift, go to

  415. calvarychapelonline.com and click on the About Us tab and

  416. then find the link for what we believe.

  417. We'd love to be a help and a resource for you as you walk

  418. through what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

  419. If you find the contact tab on our website, you can get in

  420. touch with us or submit a prayer request.

  421. We'd love to hear from you. That's all for today's edition

  422. in Revelation, but there's much more that Pastor Clark plans to

  423. share with us from this culminating book of the Bible.

  424. Stay tuned for that and make sure to mention this radio

  425. program to others. Invite them to tune into Grace

  426. FM 91.7 FM and they can stream worldwide at Grace Radio dot FM.

  427. This has been living waters of grace.
