  1. You can turn with me to 1st Peter chapter 1.

  2. 1st Peter chapter 1. And Cami mentioned that

  3. we're going to be in Pittsfield tonight. I have

  4. been for the last three or four years on some

  5. Sunday nights going to different churches and

  6. ministering. And at the beginning of the year

  7. I felt the Lord tell me to lay that down. and

  8. that he would launch me back when it was his

  9. time. And so I did not pursue it and have not

  10. done anything like that for quite a few months.

  11. And then about a month ago, I got five different

  12. calls for ministry. And I said, I think the Lord

  13. is opening up the door for ministry again. And

  14. it seems like, Every time that we have gathered

  15. together. In fact, I posted this on my Facebook

  16. page Every time recently that we have gathered

  17. together Whether it be a one -on -one meeting

  18. or whether it be a small group The seniors had

  19. an amazing small group time at the Cubatz home

  20. How many seniors were there and it would say

  21. wow look what God did? God is doing something

  22. unique In every gathering that we come to, God

  23. presences Himself in a unique way. We thought

  24. we were done, didn't we, last Wednesday? We thought

  25. we were done and the Holy Spirit just showed

  26. up. And as the joy of the Lord was coming on

  27. different ones, there were declarations that

  28. were being made and We sing the song he's gonna

  29. do it again this morning. He'll do it again breakthrough

  30. God is bringing breakthrough to people in their

  31. walk with Jesus God is touching people. He's

  32. awakening things inside of people God is using

  33. national events even to awaken desire for God

  34. in people. I'm getting testimonies of people

  35. saying, you know, I've had this Bible in the

  36. back of my shelf for years, and now I'm picking

  37. it up and I'm starting to read it. And that's

  38. not to bring condemnation if you have not been

  39. doing those things, but God is awakening in the

  40. hearts of people. Amen? We are seeing it happen

  41. Nationally, we are seeing it happen We are seeing

  42. it happen on a local level and we are believing

  43. God That he is gonna give us not only our city,

  44. but this entire region in Jesus name this morning

  45. another missionary that was driving on his way

  46. to Bloomington felt led of the Lord to stop in

  47. here And he hasn't stopped, he's a missionary.

  48. He preached here in 2015, hasn't been here in

  49. 10 years. And I had him close us in prayer. And

  50. you know what he prayed? He prayed that God would

  51. release a prophetic and an apostolic anointing

  52. on this house. And he said, God, give them this

  53. city and God, give them this region. And he has

  54. I've never shared with him my heart for ministry

  55. that God called us to to raise up a local church

  56. and to partner with people around the region

  57. that are seeing God's kingdom move forward. Amen.

  58. And so that's what we're doing. And we're and

  59. we're watching God work and it's powerful and

  60. it's wonderful. People are being healed. physically.

  61. Talking to different ones that have received

  62. emotional breakthrough in their life. Freedom

  63. from fear and anxieties. God is doing an incredible

  64. work and we're believing for more. We're believing

  65. for more. God has breakthrough for your family.

  66. Amen? God has breakthrough for your family. I

  67. don't know how much of this I'm going to get

  68. through this morning. I want to just start in

  69. 1 Peter chapter 1 because I believe that God

    1 Peter 1 chapter mention

  70. has something to speak to us. And this might

  71. be a different kind of a message for you this

  72. morning. I might preach it in a way that I don't

  73. normally preach in. But I believe that God is

  74. going to speak to us powerfully To the pilgrims

  75. of the dispersion in Pontus Galatia Cappadocia

  76. Asia Bithynia elect according to the foreknowledge

  77. of God the Father in sanctification of the spirit

  78. for obedience and sprinkling the blood of Jesus

  79. Christ. Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

  80. Father I want to thank you for your word this

  81. morning and I ask God that you would just apply

  82. it to each one of our hearts. I ask God that

  83. your word that that penetrates and goes in deep

  84. would change us and shape us and make us and

  85. mold us. God I have no power to to change a life

  86. but you do. The anointing that is upon your word

  87. as it's being preached. God is powerful and I

  88. ask God that you would just Speak to each one

  89. of us today in Jesus name Amen Peter starts out

  90. by using language pilgrims of the dispersion

  91. This is language that the Jewish people although

  92. he's not just writing to Jewish people But that

  93. they would that they would know about they had

  94. been called pilgrims of the dispersion Psalm

    Psalms 147:2

  95. 147 verse 2 the Lord builds up Jerusalem he gathers

  96. the outcasts of Israel that's talking about the

  97. pilgrims of the dispersion Isaiah 1112, he will

  98. set up a banner for the nations and he will assemble

  99. the outcasts of Israel and gather together the

  100. dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the

  101. earth. Some of you were alive when Israel first

  102. reclaimed their land in the nation of Israel.

  103. God is fulfilling his promise, those that are

  104. dispersed. But he is not just talking about those

  105. that were dispersed physically, although they

  106. were in Acts chapter five. He's talking about

  107. those that are outcasts, those that society has

  108. written off. In fact, the religious people in

  109. Jesus' day, this is a lot later than many, this

  110. is many decades later, but the religious people

  111. in Jesus' day had written many people off that

  112. Jesus focused his ministry on. He came not to

  113. buddy up with those that already thought that

  114. they were righteous. But Jesus came to seek and

  115. save those that were lost and those that had

  116. been rejected as impossibles Jesus brought them

  117. near those that had been dispersed We like it

  118. when people come into our church and they're

  119. already polished and they're already Looking

  120. good and hey, here's somebody that that that

  121. can fit right in But how many of you know that

  122. God is not just looking for those that already

  123. have the the Bible memorized from cover to cover

  124. God is looking for those that everybody else

  125. overlooks and and and stares right past and says

  126. and says no not this one but God does not say

  127. no not this one God says draw near to me come

  128. on I'm choosing you for my team And so Peter

  129. opens up and he says, the pilgrims of the dispersion,

  130. the outcasts, all the people that nobody wanted

  131. in Pontus and Galatia and Cappadocia and Asia

  132. and Bithynia, you are now not outcasts, you are

  133. now elect according to the foreknowledge of God

  134. the Father, hallelujah. You are now sanctified.

  135. Glory to God, that means that you are now washed.

  136. hallelujah and that you have right standing with

  137. God he called you for sanctification of the spirit

  138. he called you for obedience amen I'm thinking

  139. of John chapter eight. I'm thinking of the woman

  140. that was caught in adultery. A woman that they

  141. were ready to stone. A woman that certainly nobody,

  142. none of the religious leaders would ever think

  143. could do any good. But Jesus looked at that woman

  144. and said, go and sin no more. Do you know what?

  145. He was giving her the ability to overcome her

  146. prostitution and overcome all of the garbage

  147. of the past and she could too. become a new creation

  148. in Christ and walk with God. Hallelujah. Obedience.

  149. People that you look at and say they are far

  150. from obedience. But God says, you can walk with

  151. me. Sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.

  152. the twofold work of the cross that forgives us

  153. of our sin and heals our broken body according

  154. to Isaiah chapter 53 by his stripes we are healed

    Isaiah 53 chapter mention

  155. and God has called us that this term sprinkling

  156. of the blood it means that you walk in the power

  157. of God And when you pray over people, sometimes,

  158. in fact, if you grew up with me in the late 80s,

  159. and I was fortunate to be surrounded with great

  160. men of God that knew how to pray, and they knew

  161. how to seek God. And so here I was a young teenager

  162. and I would listen to these men of God pray,

  163. but it wasn't just the words that they said,

  164. it was the interaction that they had with God.

  165. Isn't that what discipleship really is all about?

  166. Being able to see with your eyes and hear with

  167. your ears. And so I was brand new in my faith,

  168. but I would go to the prayer meetings and I would

  169. listen to my pastor and he had a deep voice and

  170. he would say, hallelujah. He would just he was

  171. just be in the corner and he would just be saying

  172. hallelujah And It wasn't the words that he said

  173. or how they said them but I could tell that he

  174. was fellowshiping With with God and he carried

  175. an anointing that I wanted to carry And many

  176. times I would hear these great men and women

  177. of God say this, Lord, we plead the blood of

  178. Jesus. Over this one that needs healing how many

  179. of you ever heard that term before? Plead the

  180. blood of Jesus. Well, it's similar to this straight

  181. out of the scriptures sprinkling the blood of

  182. Jesus and and Peter is saying you were you were

  183. once an outcast but now you have the authority

  184. to pray with power to Sprinkle the blood of Jesus

  185. everywhere you go to pray over people that the

  186. same the same blood that Jesus shed that cleansed

  187. and washed you of your sin, the same blood that

  188. healed you, you can sprinkle the blood, you can

  189. pray the power of that blood over everybody.

  190. Hallelujah. And so you were once an outcast,

  191. but now you're used mightily of God to see miracles

  192. happening wherever you go. Grace and peace be

  193. multiplied to you. He goes on and and I Might

  194. not get past this next section here. I intended

  195. to preach clear down through chapter 2 As long

  196. as I preach good you'll sit there and listen,

  197. right? Blessed be the God and father of our Lord

  198. Jesus Christ Who according to his abundant mercy

  199. has begotten us again to a living hope through

  200. the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

  201. to an inheritance in corruptible and Undefiled

  202. and that does not fade away Reserved in heaven

  203. for you who are kept by the power of God through

  204. faith for salvation Ready to be revealed the

  205. last time glory to God The word that came forth

  206. this morning and that many of you responded to

  207. was a confirmation to me of the scripture that

  208. God wanted me to preach and I want in fact, I

  209. prayed over a couple of you that God would restore

  210. hope to your life Hope about things that you

  211. have given up about. Hope to walk in health again.

  212. Hope to be used by God in a ministry again. Hope

  213. to see some things that he's whispered in your

  214. spirit and now you're at the point where you're

  215. saying, well I'm just not sure if that dream

  216. was really from God or not. But God wants to

  217. put hope back in your life amen and This phrase

  218. that's in verse 5. There's so much in here, but

  219. let me skip to verse 5 we are of those who are

  220. kept by the power of God Amen now I read This

  221. morning a story that captivated me It is the

  222. story of a man named Larry Walters Larry Walters

  223. in 1982 Thought that he could use some Hot air

  224. balloons some small ones many to raise himself

  225. up in his backyard and He blew up 42 small hot

  226. air balloons with helium and He sat in the chair

  227. thinking he would go five or ten feet in the

  228. air and He cut the rope He was a truck driver

  229. and they nicknamed him lawn chair Larry Because

  230. when he cut the rope that held him to the weight

  231. He began to rise in his lawn chair Now he wasn't

  232. complete he wasn't completely Christian he brought

  233. two things with him He had a pistol and a beer.

  234. And his lawn chair began to rise. Begin to rise.

  235. And lawn chair Larry rose. 16 ,000 feet over

  236. his city, no seatbelt. This is July 2nd, 1982,

  237. over San Pedro, California. And when he got so

  238. high, he thought, How am I gonna get down and

  239. he began to shoot balloons The flight lasted

  240. 45 minutes He interrupted flight patterns as

  241. as me is major airlines Picked him up on their

  242. radar and had to alter their path On the way

  243. down He entangled in power lines and caused a

  244. blackout in Long Beach, California He was not

  245. seriously injured and was fined by the Federal

  246. Aviation Administration for violating aviation

  247. regulations. His flight became a media sensation.

  248. He inspired movies, a musical, and holds the

  249. Guinness World Record for lawn chair flight.

  250. Larry Walters I Read that story and I thought

  251. that story is sermon worthy Because I was picturing

  252. myself 16 ,000 feet somebody figure out how many

  253. How far that is up in kilometers or miles? Somebody

  254. pull your phone out and figure that out for me

  255. Three miles I can't even imagine. Now I went

  256. up in a balloon one time for Balloon Fest. Me

  257. and my son traveled up and we got up so high

  258. and it wasn't near this high and we could not

  259. hear a thing. It was still, it was magical. How

  260. many of you have been up in a balloon before?

  261. And you know what I'm talking about. And you

  262. know what I thought when I was up there? There

  263. is nothing holding me from my death except for

  264. this platform, this high, this basket that we

  265. are standing in. And I found myself kind of knuckling

  266. the rope behind me like this is nerve wracking.

  267. And I begin to imagine myself as I'm reading

  268. this story. of me sitting in a lawn chair three

  269. miles above the earth with nothing keeping me.

  270. Nothing keeping me, it's making some of you nauseous

  271. even as you're sitting right there in your chair.

  272. I remember when we went to the Sears Tower, it's

  273. now called the Willis Tower, I have trouble calling

  274. it that. Chicago and we went up to the hundred

  275. and third floor and on the hundred and third

  276. floor they have a glass walkout and you that

  277. have been there know that even though you know

  278. in your mind that you're gonna be okay that stepping

  279. out onto that glass walkout it feels it gives

  280. you a sensation that is a little bit disconcerting

  281. And even I, I'm not afraid of heights at all,

  282. but here I am standing over 103 stories looking

  283. down over Chicago. How many of you have stood

  284. on that platform before? Some of you have been

  285. there before. And you get a little bit disconcerted.

  286. And you can start to picture what it's like,

  287. what it might be like if you had nothing. keeping

  288. you. Nothing keeping you. This morning in your

  289. spiritual walk some of you have felt like nothing

  290. is keeping me. I'm kind of interested in God,

  291. but I don't know if I can trust Him again. I'm

  292. kind of pressing in, but if I put all my eggs

  293. in one basket, is He going to do it? I want to

  294. bring the simple message confirming the word

  295. that was already spoken this morning That the

  296. same God That brought you here today The same

  297. God that really has been working in your life

  298. all along you haven't recognized it so much But

  299. God has been working in your life every step

  300. of the way friend He has been there He grieved

  301. with you silently although you didn't hear him

  302. He he he protected you and that car wreck He

  303. was there With his hand on your life when when

  304. you weren't even thinking about him He has been

  305. more faithful to you than ever you realize And

  306. I want to declare to you today that you can trust

  307. Him with your life to bring you all the way through

  308. to the end. Some of you see obstacles that you're

  309. facing and can I tell you between now and the

  310. end you are gonna face a lot more obstacles than

  311. the ones you're facing now. It's just the truth

  312. that in this world we will have trouble. But

  313. I want to elevate this morning your level of

  314. Trust in a God that is never going to leave you

  315. and he is never going to forsake you He is going

  316. to walk with you every step of the way You are

  317. kept by the power of God Amen You are not kept

  318. by the power of a pastor Isn't that good news?

  319. Because I fail people all the time But there

  320. is one that I try my best Feebly though it might

  321. be to represent there is one that I represent

  322. Who will never fail you? He will never leave

  323. you. He will never forsake you glory to God You

  324. are kept by the power God. Whoo! I feel the anointing

  325. in this place right now because there are some

  326. there is some thinking in your mind that needs

  327. to crumble. God is able to keep you. Some of

  328. you have just overcome addiction and you've thought

  329. well I've overcome this addiction before but

  330. and so what is different now? What's different

  331. now is that you're gonna trust in the God that

  332. is able to keep you from falling Hallelujah,

  333. let me read a couple of other scriptures to you

  334. right now Thank You Father glory to God John

    John 10:27

  335. chapter 10 verse 27 says this my sheep Any sheep

  336. out there if you're a sheep go That was kind

  337. of weak. We need to do that again. Ready? That

  338. was awesome! My sheep hear my voice and I know

  339. them and they follow me. I give them eternal

  340. life and they shall never perish neither shall

  341. anyone say anyone neither shall anyone snatch

  342. them out of my hand my father who has given them

  343. to me is greater than all and no one is able

  344. to snatch them out of my father's hand I and

  345. my Father are one. Glory to God. Now do I believe

  346. that somebody can choose to walk away from God

  347. and deny the faith? We see that even in the Bible.

  348. Paul discipled people that then turned and walked

  349. away from God. That's true. You can walk away

  350. from God. But friend, nobody. that is after the

  351. heart of God. Nobody that comes before the Lord

  352. and say, God, I'm doing my best to follow after

  353. you. Nobody that is a sincere believer that is

  354. coming after Jesus. Nobody, nobody will ever

  355. be taken out of the Father's hand that is after

  356. the heart of God. Hallelujah. You are secure

  357. in your salvation. Well, Pastor, I messed up

  358. last week. Pastor, I messed up last week. I sinned.

  359. I sinned. Friend, the Bible says this, that the

  360. righteous may fall seven times, but this is what

  361. the righteous do. The righteous get up again.

  362. They get up again and they keep on going. And

  363. so if you're one of those sheep, guess what?

  364. You've been made righteous by the blood of the

  365. lamb. That does not mean you've been made perfect

  366. yet. You are being perfected and you do grow

  367. from glory to glory. We're watching people's

  368. lives transform as they're set free from sin.

  369. Right? I want to thank God. Let me give you a

  370. statistic from Barna Research Group. Four years

  371. ago, 55 % of adults in the United States said

  372. that they had a relationship with Jesus that

  373. was meaningful to them. 55%. Now, how many of

  374. those are actually born again and following Christ?

  375. I don't know. But 55 % that was down from 2003

  376. which was 87 % 87 % down to 55 % in a matter

  377. of years that does that tell you the direction

  378. that our nation is heading? Well, let me give

  379. you some hope because four years later that number

  380. has rebounded to 67 % two -thirds Now that does

  381. not mean that they're all born again But they

  382. have some kind of knowledge of Jesus that is

  383. meaningful to them Among but but let me give

  384. you a statistic now that that is not so good

  385. 61 % of Christians Are addicted to pornography

  386. 61 % on a weekly that's a weekly or daily basis

  387. 61 % Jesus came to set captives free We you know

  388. you wonder why industries grow the way that they

  389. do is because of the sin of mankind. You wonder

  390. why we don't have revival yet. Friends, it's

  391. coming. It's coming. I'm not trying to be a wet

  392. blanket. What I am calling us to is to be kept

  393. by the power of God. Because you're kept by the

  394. power of God, you can overcome. I'm through the

  395. introduction of my sermon, I'm not going to preach

  396. the whole thing tonight, this morning. And so

  397. in conclusion, what we are watching, what we

  398. are watching is God setting captives free. And

  399. God exercising, keeping power, right? Not snatched

  400. out. I love the passage in Jude. It's a praise

  401. to God. Now to Him who is able to keep you from

  402. stumbling and to present you faultless before

  403. the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

  404. Now I often wonder, well, who there gets the

  405. exceeding joy? Is it Jesus that is presenting

  406. us before the Father? And is it Jesus that has

  407. the joy in doing so? Or is it us that as we are

  408. presented, we have exceeding joy? I believe it's

  409. both. believe it's both that that Jesus is looking

  410. forward one day to present you to the Father

  411. and say hey this one this one that this one's

  412. come through a lot but this one was kept by the

  413. power of God here he is father here she is father

  414. they made it to the end hallelujah This is a

  415. verse that every that maybe this is the one we

  416. memorize from next week Jude Just one chapter

  417. in Jude verse 24 now to him who is able to keep

  418. you from stumbling and To present you faultless

  419. before the presence of his glory with exceeding

  420. joy To God our Savior who alone is wise be glory

  421. and majesty Dominion and power both now and forever

  422. Amen Amen. Amen. Can I say this? Most people

  423. that are addicted to pornography wish they weren't

  424. because the conscience and the conviction of

  425. the Holy Spirit and the shame, they're just tired

  426. of it. It destroys. Every part of your being

  427. it destroys marriages It destroys families and

  428. that's just one addiction How am I gonna face

  429. it pastor Because you're gonna look to your mountain

  430. you're gonna look to your sin that that secret

  431. sin Whatever it might be God is applying this

  432. to everybody and You're gonna look at that thing

  433. and you're gonna stare it down and you're gonna

  434. say I have a Jesus in my life. That's bigger

  435. than you and The Jesus that's in my life According

  436. to Titus has taught me to say no to ungodliness

  437. and worldly passions and pleasures this Jesus

  438. is able to keep me from stumbling and walking

  439. the wrong direction hallelujah whoo glory to

  440. God And so some of you this morning, you're gonna

  441. take this into your prayer closet and you're

  442. gonna say, God, I thank you for the power that

  443. you've given me to overcome. It's not power for

  444. tomorrow, but it is strength for today. To deliver

  445. me according to the Lord's prayer, you taught

  446. us to pray. God, deliver us from the evil one

  447. and deliver us from temptation. In the name of

  448. Jesus, you help us to overcome, hallelujah. You

  449. can overcome that eating addiction. You can overcome

  450. that lazy addiction. You can overcome that spending

  451. addiction. You can overcome any enemy of the

  452. cross so that God God's work can happen in your

  453. life. Where does it start? It starts with the

  454. most beautiful word in the Bible, repent. Repent.

  455. If we confess our sins, He's faithful and just

  456. not to not to just forgive us of our sin but

  457. to cleanse us from it to get it out of our life

  458. Amen I'm gonna stop right here because I believe

  459. that God wants to work in some people. I'm gonna

  460. ask if the worship team would come You've got

  461. some overcoming to do but you're not alone in

  462. it You've got some overcoming to do you're not

  463. alone in it because there's people right in this

  464. room that have been right where you're at Addicted

  465. to the same thing you're addicted to But Jesus

  466. set them free and now they're walking in power

  467. And so repentance is a word that's celebrated

  468. it's it's Do I feel repentance? Yeah, sometimes

  469. it feels like godly sorrow Because it's that

  470. sin that put Jesus on the cross Right that sin

  471. put Jesus on the cross And we feel that God I'm

  472. sorry But it's a beautiful word because it's

  473. the first step that you take Toward God when

  474. he comes running toward you And you say God set

  475. me free What do I need to repent of? Anything

  476. in my life where I've strayed that doesn't line

  477. up with God's Word. If you're a new believer

  478. in the house, there might be things in the Bible

  479. that you're not aware of yet. Where your life

  480. isn't completely lined up yet. I want you to

  481. know that God is patient with you. And He is

  482. going to lead you as you grow. In fact, the second

  483. part of this message that I'll preach next time

  484. I have an opportunity is about how to do that,

  485. how to grow. And it comes down to this, to feeding

  486. on the milk of the Word, giving yourself to prayer,

  487. and getting involved with a local church body.

  488. Having others around you. It's simple. But repentance

  489. is the beginning. You're coming to the one that

  490. can keep you. You're just confessing your need

  491. for Him. And you're saying, Lord, I just put

  492. myself in Your hands. Will You forgive me? Will

  493. You wash me? If you've never come to Christ,

  494. That's the first step. But how many Christians

  495. in here after you came to Christ still needed

  496. to repent? Linda's laughing down here. She must

  497. have needed to repent a lot. Jesus wants a bride.

  498. That's the church, the bride. The bride of Christ

  499. is the church. He's the groom. He wants a bride

  500. that is clean and pure. Clean and pure. And that's

  501. how I want to be. When I go the wrong direction,

  502. I want the Holy Spirit to show me. so that I

  503. can go the right direction. Father, all across

  504. this room you are working, you are speaking to

  505. hearts, you are convicting, but you're also assuring

  506. that you will keep your people. And so God, I

  507. pray that you would help us to have the courage

  508. to respond. And so Lord, all over this place,

  509. as Holy Spirit is convicting people, I just pray

  510. that you would work your work. If you're here

  511. this morning, and you're saying, Pastor, I need

  512. forgiveness. I need to repent. All over this

  513. place, on the count of three, I'm just gonna

  514. ask you to stand. By standing, you're just saying,

  515. the Holy Spirit's speaking to me, drawing me

  516. closer to Him. showing me an area of my life

  517. that hasn't been right with Him. And I need to

  518. get that area of my life right with Him. On the

  519. count of three, stand. One, two, three. Just

  520. stand up all over this room. Come on. Come on.

  521. Don't wait for the next person. Come on. Come

  522. on. Come on. Come on. I'll give you a moment.

  523. Come on. Take heart. Take courage. Take courage.

  524. And ask all of you that are standing. This is

  525. what we call the altar area. The altar is a place

  526. of worship. It's not just a place to repent,

  527. but it is a place to just come before the Lord

  528. and lay that thing down. So I want to invite

  529. you that are standing to come down to the front

  530. And just say Jesus here. I am he loves you so

  531. much He's here for you. Come on come down to

  532. the front. We're gonna pray together We're gonna

  533. pray together This walk that you make it's just

  534. an act. It's an action of repentance Thank you,

  535. Lord Thank you, Lord It might be the way you

  536. spoke to somebody It might be the thought that

  537. you thought about somebody. It might be something

  538. that others, if they knew, would say, that is

  539. huge. But it isn't about everybody else. It's

  540. about you and Jesus. Those of you that are up

  541. here at the altar right now, I just want you

  542. to begin to pray, just you and the Lord. Just

  543. close your eyes. Close your eyes and say Jesus

  544. will you forgive me? Jesus will you wash me?

  545. Just confess your need For him to you might even

  546. speak to that thing pornography get out of my

  547. life in the name of Jesus I belong to the Lord

  548. You might speak to that thing Addiction you do

  549. not have me anymore I belong to Jesus. God, I

  550. thank You for Your power operating around these

  551. altars right now in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah.

  552. I thank You, Father, for people from every generation

  553. responding to the work of the Lord, responding

  554. to what You're doing in their lives right now

  555. in Jesus' name. things that when they came in

  556. this room were not right with God. But when they

  557. leave, we're going to stay here at the altar

  558. in the name of Jesus. Father, we thank you for

  559. the shed blood of Jesus Christ. God, I ask that

  560. right now that there would be a washing and a

  561. cleansing over this house. Hallelujah. God, I

  562. pray that you would cleanse from the mind to

  563. the spirit, God, all through the soul in the

  564. name of Jesus. We look to the cross right now.

  565. We look to the blood of the lamb and we say,

  566. Jesus, wash me. Jesus, wash me. Jesus, wash me.

  567. Jesus, wash me. Jesus, wash me. Oh my God, my

  568. God, my God. Would you wash your sons and daughters

  569. right now around this altar in the name of Jesus.

  570. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Oh my God,

  571. my God, my God. Jesus Jesus Jesus come on just

  572. lift your hands to the Lord right now and just

  573. receive from him receive from the Lord right

  574. now a touch from heaven glory to God he loves

  575. you he loves you he loves you he loves you in

  576. Jesus name we thank you father hallelujah hallelujah

  577. hallelujah hallelujah I want you to agree with

  578. me in this prayer. In fact, just pray it with

  579. me. Lord, this morning I thank you for washing

  580. and cleansing me. I thank you for removing my

  581. sin and nailing it to the cross. I thank you

  582. for forgiving me. I break the power of shame.

  583. And I embrace the power of Jesus. I thank you

  584. Lord for freedom. I thank you Lord for victory.

  585. I thank you that you've chosen me. I thank you

  586. that you've made me your elect. I thank you that

  587. you've empowered me to walk in obedience. In

  588. Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  589. Thank you Father. Thank you Father. God's doing

  590. a work around this altar right now. Jesus. Jesus.

  591. Jesus. Lord, I want to lift up the men that are

  592. up here at the altar right now. I want to thank

  593. you Lord Jesus for men that are sensitive to

  594. your spirit. Lord, for generations women have

  595. carried the church in sensitivity to you. But

  596. I thank you for men also that are sensitive to

  597. the Holy Spirit, for young men that are sensitive

  598. to the Holy Spirit, that are leading the way

  599. and saying, God, I want to walk in right relationship

  600. with Jesus. I've allowed things in, but no more.

  601. I'm drawing a line. I'm moving forward in Jesus'

  602. name. Hallelujah. Now look at me for a moment.

  603. Some of you are up here for simple things and

  604. you've felt God's touch and that's the end of

  605. it. But some of you are gonna need a brother

  606. or a sister to specifically agree with you in

  607. prayer, for you to overcome. There are some things

  608. that God just removes from our lives. When I

  609. gave my life to Jesus, I was delivered from swearing

  610. instantly. I have not sworn since the time I

  611. was 13. I'm 52. 39 years. God has kept my, it

  612. doesn't mean that everything that I've said is

  613. sanctified, but the swearing part has not been

  614. a part of me and God just took it away. But there

  615. were other things in my life that I needed to

  616. go to somebody. I remember going to my youth

  617. pastor. because of sexual sins. They were what

  618. some might consider to be very minor. But for

  619. me, they were holding my relationship with Jesus

  620. back. And I had to go to my youth pastor as a

  621. young man. And I wept. In fact, I wept and my

  622. youth pastor laughed. And he said, I'm laughing

  623. because you think you're the only one that's

  624. ever been in this place. But he prayed over me

  625. and he broke the power of that thing and it was

  626. gone. Some of you have things that you need somebody

  627. to agree with you about. And I want to encourage

  628. you to not be afraid to make the phone call to

  629. set up the meeting. They're not gonna blab all

  630. of your stuff all over the world. You know, later

  631. on, it's just going to become part of your testimony.

  632. And you're going to actually be able to help

  633. others that overcome the very thing that you're

  634. wrestling with. And you're not going to be ashamed

  635. of it anymore because you're going to see, I'm

  636. helping others get free. But for now, you need

  637. to go to somebody. And you need to say, brother,

  638. will you pray with me? Sister, will you pray

  639. with me? And it can be a trusted man or woman

  640. of God. It doesn't have to be Pastor Cammie or

  641. myself. But we are here for you. And you can

  642. come all the way through to freedom. Amen. Let's

  643. give the Lord praise this morning for what He's

  644. doing. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord.

  645. Thank you, Lord. Just take the hand of the person

  646. next to you right now. take the hand of the person

  647. next to you and I want you to just pray over

  648. them and I want you to pray God's blessing over

  649. the person on your right and on your left and

  650. just say God will you give victory to my brother

  651. to my sister in the name of Jesus give victory

  652. to my brother to my sister in the name of Jesus

  653. that we can walk in victory in this place hallelujah

  654. hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh my God my

  655. God we thank you Father we give you praise we

  656. give you praise you are good hallelujah lord

  657. oh we love you lord god is good god is good just

  658. one final encouragement eventually And hopefully

  659. immediately you will never need to repent for

  660. this same thing again. But God will put his finger

  661. on something else in your life. And you'll have

  662. to come to the altar again. And I want you to

  663. know that that's what believers do. They follow

  664. Jesus. They're becoming more and more and more

  665. like him. And so he's dealing with one thing

  666. and then next week he might deal with another

  667. thing. And that's okay. How many of you say,

  668. Jesus, make me more like you? Repentance is a

  669. good thing. Jesus, make me more like you. Amen.

  670. Give somebody a hug before you go. Bless somebody.

  671. In Jesus' name, thank you for being here today.
