Welcome to the Cross Power Church podcast.
-
You're listening to a service from our church in Campbell, TX.
-
We pray this message strengthens your faith and points you to the
-
cross. Now let's join the service.
-
Bible says he the wind of souls is wise.
-
You have a wise pastor he loves He loves you.
-
They he and candy love you. They love, they love the Lord,
-
they love the work that God has called them to and the Bible
-
says it is a servant is worthy of his hire and everything that
-
you've said and shown appreciation for them about,
-
they are worthy of today. And I understand.
-
I understand how it is to be to be a pastor and to use this word
-
cautiously, but to endure days like today, it's not, it's not
-
easy, but it's necessary. And we understand that it's
-
necessary. It's necessary to show
-
appreciation and love. And you're, you've done a fine
-
job of that today. And I know you that you love
-
them And the Lord is the Lord is pleased with you today because
-
the Lord is pleased with his with his people today and be and
-
with his servants today. And, and Krista and I, we, we
-
honor, we honor you for honoring them and we honor them today.
-
And just so thankful that there were years ago, I don't know how
-
many years ago it's been now that our paths crossed and
-
connected and we just enjoy every opportunity that we have.
-
Most of the time when I come, it's, it's because he's either
-
going to be out of town, out of town or, or whatever.
-
But I always, always look forward to the opportunity and
-
try to make it accessible to to come and to be here because we
-
enjoy, we enjoy being with you and worshiping with you and
-
seeing the progress that that God is caused to happen here.
-
And it's not, it's not by chance, but it's because you've
-
labored together and you work together.
-
Some come, some go, some stay, some don't.
-
And that's just the life of the church.
-
But those of you that have been here and you've, you've, you've
-
helped dig this out and and you're here and you've stayed
-
and God bless you. And there's just the best is
-
still yet to come. And until Jesus comes, we're
-
going to keep working. We're going to keep preaching
-
the gospel and and seeing lives changed.
-
And I didn't come today to preach about I'm not a I'm not
-
a, I'm not good when it comes to special days of just doing a I'm
-
not a pastor appreciation day sermon kind of guy.
-
I just preach what the Lord puts in my heart and you know that
-
and I don't make any apologies for that, but I am going to
-
preach about the church because that's it's, it's, it's
-
necessary, it's important and, and I believe the Lord's going
-
to help us today. But since it is pastor
-
appreciation, though, let me tell you a couple.
-
I don't have any funny stories to tell about your pastor.
-
You have them, he has them, Candy has them, the family has
-
them. Those of you that have known him
-
a long time, you have them. But I don't have any of those.
-
But but I can tell you about about preachers and a funny
-
thing happened. Funny things have happened to
-
me. But a young, young preacher came
-
to a. Little, little rural.
-
Community town his first time to to pastor church and he hadn't
-
been there but two or three weeks and the funeral director
-
of the really only one Funeral Home in the county and he called
-
he called the the young preacher and said, Hey, I need I need
-
your assistance. I've got a I've got a.
-
Full, full. Day of of a couple funerals and
-
I have I have a deceased man who who didn't have any family
-
living and no friends. And so if you would just meet me
-
at the cemetery and if you could just pray and and say some say
-
some kind words. And as we lay his body to rest.
-
And the young man agreed to do that.
-
And so so the funeral director told him when to meet him at the
-
Funeral Home, gave him the directions out in the country to
-
a little little country cemetery.
-
And the young man goes and and tries to find the cemetery, but
-
he got lost and it took him, took him forever to find, to
-
find the cemetery. And he finally found it.
-
And and funeral director wasn't there, but he saw, he saw plot
-
open and he saw the workers over under their tree.
-
Just they're having a little break.
-
So he walks up, walks up and, and opens his Bible and says
-
prays and says some some kind words and preached a few few
-
minutes about the love of Jesus and committed, committed this
-
body, you know, to the to the earth and to the hands of God
-
and to the loving God and, and said a man and begin to walk
-
away. And as he walked past the
-
workers, he overheard one of the workers say, he said, I've been
-
in, I've been in this business for 30 years.
-
And he said. I've never seen a preacher pray
-
over a septic tank. Pastor was in his deathbed and
-
elderly pastor and was he was dying and he called two men from
-
his church to come visit him and they both showed up.
-
They showed up the same time. And the wife escorted him into
-
the pastor's bedroom and he's laying in his bed and, and his
-
eyes were closed And he's, he's just laying there quietly.
-
And he summons the sees the the two gentlemen come in.
-
He summons him to his bed, one-on-one on one side, 1 on the
-
other. And he reaches out and takes
-
their hand. They hold his hand.
-
He didn't say anything. He just laid there with his eyes
-
closed and he held their hands for several minutes.
-
Several minutes went by seemed like long minutes.
-
And finally, one of the one of the men said, Pastor, is there,
-
is there a reason that you, you, you called us to, we're happy to
-
be here. And but is there a reason that
-
we kind of find it a little odd that you, you asked for us to,
-
to be here? And the preacher opened his eyes
-
and said, he said, Jesus died with two thieves on each side.
-
And he said, I wanted to go. 1 was a car salesman, 1 was a
-
lawyer. He said, I want to, I want to go
-
to heaven just like Jesus between two thieves.
-
All right, that's enough of that.
-
There's no greater passage in Scripture in the Gospels about
-
the church than Matthew 16 familiar verses of Scripture.
-
If you want to turn with me, if you have your Bibles, you want
-
to stand. Let's stand for the reading of
-
God's Word. Matthew 16.
-
Begin with verse 13. When Jesus came into the coast
-
of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, whom do
-
men say that I am? I the Son of Man AM.
-
And they said some say that you're John the Baptist, some
-
say that you're Elijah, some say that you're you're.
-
Jeremiah or one of the. Prophets, but he said unto them,
-
But who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered and said,
-
Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
-
Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon
-
Barjona, for flesh and blood? If not.
-
Revealed this unto you. But my Father, which is in
-
heaven, and I say unto thee, that you're Peter, and upon this
-
rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not
-
prevail against it, And I'll give to you the.
-
Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. That whatever you bind on earth
-
will be bound in heaven and. Whatever you loose on earth.
-
Will be loosed in heaven and they charged he and his
-
disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the
-
Christ Father. I thank you for this occasion
-
that we've gathered today to celebrate Pastor Lance and Candy
-
for their incredible work and labor of love.
-
Or we just speak blessings upon them.
-
We speak blessings upon their their home, their health, their
-
life, Lord, And we just pray that you would just refresh
-
them, renew them, encourage them today.
-
And Lord, we just thank you for this church that you have raised
-
up. Thank you, Lord.
-
For the for the people. Here that have.
-
Stood. With this pastor and stood
-
beside him and behind him and around him and covered him in
-
prayer and love and support and I pray, Lord, that you would
-
just. Continue to do a great.
-
Work in this, in this area, in this community, in this county,
-
in this region, Lord, that you would cause this church to be a
-
lighthouse, that you would cause this place to.
-
To be filled with lives. That have been transformed and
-
changed. Disciples of Jesus Christ and
-
Lord, we thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit that is at
-
work. Here, Lord that.
-
Anything can happen today. Lord lies.
-
Can be touched and transformed, saved, delivered.
-
Healed, set free by the. Power of God because all things
-
are possible today and we'll give you the praise and the
-
honor and the glory for it in Jesus name, Amen and Amen.
-
You can be seated. I want to talk to you this
-
morning for a few minutes if you'll help me preach.
-
On the church that. Hell can't stop.
-
Say that with me, the church, that hell can't stop.
-
You know Hell's. Always had a strategy.
-
From the moment that Lucifer. Was cast out of heaven.
-
He's been on a mission to undermine, undermine God's
-
purpose, to oppose God's people, to obstruct God's power.
-
He couldn't stop God's plan in heaven, and so he's been trying
-
to sabotage God's plan. On the earth and his.
-
Favorite target is the church. And when we talk about the
-
church, we're talking about God's people, the the church
-
today. The church is not a building.
-
The church is a living Organism. We are the Church of the Lord
-
Jesus Christ. If you're here today and you're
-
born again and you're a citizen of the Kingdom of heaven, you
-
are the church. You are the Church of the living
-
God. The church wasn't man's idea, it
-
was God's. The church was birthed by the
-
blood of Jesus Christ. It was built on the rock of
-
Revelation, and it's sustained by the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
You see, Satan knows he can't dethrone God, so he tries to
-
deceive God's people. He knows he can't destroy
-
heaven, so he tries to divide the church.
-
He knows he can't stop the plan of redemption, so he tries to
-
silence the redeemed. I believe the enemy would say,
-
he said. If I can't defeat the Creator,
-
I'll try to corrupt. His creation.
-
So the enemy strategy today is this.
-
He tries to attack the message through false teaching.
-
There's a lot of false teaching in the world today.
-
There's a lot of false, false teachers in the Bible.
-
The Bible warns about in the last days that there would be
-
those who would come with false teachings.
-
Aren't you glad that you do have a pastor who preaches the word
-
of God today, man? And so he attacks the message,
-
but he also attacks the mission through distraction and
-
division. He attacks ministers through
-
temptation and burnout. They say that some 3700
-
ministers quit the ministry every, I believe every month
-
there are, there are over 3000 ministers who say, I can't do
-
this anymore. I quit.
-
I can't, I, I can't take the stress.
-
I can't take the the heat and the pressure and, and they quit
-
the ministry. Aren't you glad you've had one
-
who may have wanted to quit? But he said, I'm not going to,
-
I'm going to keep persevering now I'm going to keep, I'm going
-
to keep striving for Jesus Christ.
-
But he also not only attacks the message and the menace, the the
-
the message and and the mission and the ministers, but he
-
attacks members. He attacks us as the body
-
through fear, through compromise, through confusion.
-
Demonic deception is on the rise in this day.
-
Spiritual warfare, We sense it. It's intensifying.
-
And darkness is trying to dominate every dimension of
-
society. And the church is no exception.
-
The enemy wants to shut the doors of the church because it's
-
not the government that gives us hope today.
-
It's not. It's not Social Security that
-
gives us hope today. Hope comes through the message
-
of the true Church of the living God, the message of Jesus Christ
-
and him crucified. So warfare's intensifying
-
darkness is trying to dominate, but the church is meant to
-
survive the attacks of hell. We were built to survive.
-
We were built to to survive the Hell's attacks.
-
And we we weren't, but just meant to survive Hell's attacks.
-
We were meant to to overcome and to dominate Hell's attacks.
-
You see, we don't, we don't, we're not supposed to get backed
-
up into a corner and then try to come out fighting.
-
We've been given every weapon that is necessary to come
-
against all the powers of the enemy that comes against the
-
church. You've heard it said that the
-
church is not a cruise ship for entertainment, but the church is
-
a battleship to engage the enemy.
-
We are to rise up and engage the darkness in this world.
-
Satan opposes, but he can't overthrow.
-
He roars, but he doesn't reign. He may fight, but he can't
-
finish what he didn't start. Jesus started this church.
-
He said I will build my church. It's his church, it belongs to
-
him. We are the Church of the Lord
-
Jesus Christ. Paul said in Philippians one
-
sick being confident of this very thing.
-
He which hath begun a good work in you.
-
And can I just tell Cross Power Church, God has just begun a
-
good work in you and he's going to complete it.
-
He's going to finish what he started.
-
Can you give God praise for that this morning?
-
The church may be pressed, but it's not powerless.
-
The church may be attacked, but it's not abandoned.
-
The church may be oppressed, but we are not overcome.
-
Even today, as we face a generation of moral confusion
-
and spiritual compromise, the church is not fading, it is
-
flourishing. The darker the night, the
-
brighter the light. The heavier the pressure, the
-
greater the power that God sends into His church so that we can
-
be overcomers and come against all the powers of the enemy.
-
Several years ago there was a a movie.
-
That that came out. Called Unstoppable and it's it
-
was based on a true story it's about a runaway train some.
-
Of you may have seen it, it came out about. 2010 But it's based
-
on on a true story of a train in Pennsylvania freight train that
-
was barreling down the tracks and it it it had several cars
-
full of a biochemical or, or or very toxic fluids and liquids on
-
it and it was out of control. It was, it was, it was a
-
barreling toward through a city and they knew was going to was
-
going to derail and it could have potentially kill thousands
-
of people once that liquid became exposed and it crashed.
-
And, and so they, they tried to stop it and it was called the
-
CXCS XA8888 and they called it the crazy 8 train.
-
And they, they tried everything they could.
-
Finally they, they found an engineer who was who they found
-
a, a, a, an engine that is designed to to track down a
-
runaway trains and an engineer that that got on this engine,
-
the train engine and, and was able to catch up and, and latch
-
on to that train and finally able to get it stopped.
-
But it but it was called the unstoppable train.
-
You see, the church is unstoppable.
-
The Church of Jesus Christ is unstoppable.
-
It is a force that is unstoppable.
-
And just like just like the church, the world may try to
-
derail us and distract us and detain us.
-
But hell can't stop what heaven started.
-
God has started a good work here and hell can't stop it.
-
God has started a good work in your life and hell can't stop
-
it. All the powers of hell that come
-
again. It's your life and your marriage
-
and your family. Hell can't stop what heaven has
-
started. There is no power in hell.
-
Hell thought they had Jesus when he was in the grave, but they
-
found hell found out. They couldn't stop Jesus because
-
all power, all power was given unto him.
-
All power belongs under our Lord.
-
And resurrection power raised up Jesus from the dead.
-
And that same resurrection life is what's here today that is
-
working and is ministering to us and lives on the inside of us.
-
Aren't you glad for that today? So Jesus, Jesus made this
-
statement at a place called Caesarea Philippi.
-
It's very important that you understand the, the location of
-
this. Where was that?
-
Because it, it, it actually was previously called Pineus after
-
the Greek God Pan. The, the, the mythical Greek God
-
Pan was half goat, 1/2 man God. That, that, that was worship.
-
It was an idol that was worshipped.
-
And, and, and, and so this was this is what that area was
-
called. And it, and was at a a very
-
rocky high Cliff area. And it was believed that there
-
was a, there was a, a, a, a opening in that Cliff that was
-
believed to be the opening to the, the underworld.
-
And so literally it was called the gates of hell.
-
Jesus didn't just happen to go there.
-
Jesus didn't just say, well, this, you know, no, he
-
specifically went to the region that the people knew as the
-
gates of hell. And that's where Jesus first
-
introduced the concept of the church.
-
For he said, upon this rock I will build my church and the
-
gates of hell will not prevail. Jesus declared that the church
-
is going to prevail over the powers of darkness.
-
He didn't say it in comfort. He said it in confrontation.
-
He didn't whisper it in a sanctuary.
-
He thundered it in Satan's territory.
-
That's the kind of confidence that the church has to have
-
today that we stand in the darkest hour of that's that
-
we've been in and the darkest place.
-
And we declare we still have the advantage because what heaven
-
started, hell can't stop. That's why you can go to dark
-
places. That's why you can be in this
-
world and live in this world, but you're the light of the
-
world. We're a light in a dark place.
-
And we're not to hide our light under a bushel.
-
No, we're to let our light shine because we have the power.
-
We have the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
And it's, it causes hell to tremble when a child of God
-
understands that the church, that the body of Christ, that
-
hell can't stop it. Is this all right?
-
That savage incident a month ago, 3132 days ago, Hell thought
-
that it would silence the voice of a young patriot, a father, a
-
husband, a young man. You know what I'm talking about.
-
You know who I'm talking about, Charlie.
-
Hell thought we're going to. We'll silence, we'll stop this
-
movement. But you see what's happening
-
just in 30 days, the explosive growth, hell thought it could.
-
And you see, that's what hell thinks it can do to the church.
-
That's what hell thinks it can do to a believer.
-
That hell that the, that the, the try to silence the voice.
-
But I'm here to tell you, you can't stop the voice of God.
-
Hell can't stop God's. What Hell can't stop what heaven
-
starts. Hell can't stop it.
-
And it's the church Hell can't stop, the power and the movement
-
of the Church of Jesus Christ. So what kind of church is it
-
that hell can't stop? Well, I'm glad you asked because
-
I'm going to tell you this morning.
-
Hell can't stop the church that knows its author.
-
Jesus said I will build my church.
-
He didn't say Lance is going to build a church.
-
Lance. Lance may have started the
-
church. Lance may have had an, a vision
-
and A and a mindset to to begin a church and call people
-
together, to have a place of worship and to and to and to buy
-
a building and to and to tear down walls and to expand.
-
Yes. But you see, this isn't Lance's
-
church. This is God's church.
-
Jesus said, I'm the author of the church.
-
I will build my church. He's the author.
-
Hebrews 12/2. Looking unto Jesus, the author
-
and the finisher of our faith. Hell trembles when the church
-
and the believers remember who writes the story.
-
Do you know who's writing your story today?
-
Jesus isn't just the founder of our faith, He's the finisher of
-
our fight. The church didn't begin in a
-
boardroom, it began in the blueprints of heaven.
-
The church is a man's idea, it's God's idea.
-
We're not a human organization. We're a divine Organism that is
-
alive, and we've got the DNA of God in our midst today, Charles
-
Spurgeon wrote. If Jesus is the builder, no
-
bulldozer in hell can demolish his work.
-
Well, I like that because Jesus the author holds the copyright.
-
Hell can't rewrite the script. If Jesus is the author of your
-
story, he writes better endings than the enemy has planned.
-
If Jesus is the author of grace, he can turn our disgrace into
-
Amazing Grace. If Jesus is the author of peace,
-
he can calm storms that doctors can't diagnose.
-
If Jesus is the author of power, he gives strength in your
-
weakest hour. If Jesus is the author of faith,
-
he strips victory when fear tries to edit out your destiny.
-
If Jesus is the author of mercy, he rewrites chapters in your
-
life that you thought were ruined.
-
If Jesus is the offer of healing, Oh my goodness, been
-
signing his name where sickness had the last word.
-
If Jesus is the offer of deliverance, he breaks chains
-
and rewrites generational history.
-
If Jesus is the offer of hope, he pinned resurrection where the
-
world wrote. It's finished.
-
If Jesus is the author of love, He inscribes compassion upon
-
every line of my life. If Jesus is the author and the
-
finisher of my faith, He started it, He'll sustain it, and He'll
-
seal it with His glory. I know I'm preaching a little
-
different than I usually do. I might be.
-
Reading a little more than I normally do that you notice me
-
doing, but there's something here you need to hear today.
-
I'm taking my time is. That all right?
-
You see, Hell can't edit what heaven authored.
-
The pen of grace has already signed your victory.
-
Aren't you glad you know the author of your story?
-
I think somebody wrote a song about that.
-
He's the author of your story and it doesn't matter what hell
-
says. It doesn't matter what the
-
world, it doesn't matter the lies that the enemy comes to try
-
to bring condemnation on somebody here today, that the
-
enemy is telling you you're nothing, you're nobody, you're
-
no good, you're not going to make it.
-
You will never amount to of anything.
-
But I'm here to tell you, the author of your story says grace
-
is upon your life, Mercy is upon your life.
-
I start what I finish, and I finish what I start.
-
He's the author and the finisher of our faith.
-
So the church that hell can't stop knows its author.
-
But not only the church that hell can't stop knows its
-
author, it knows its authority. Do you know your authority?
-
Today? Jesus said, Behold, I give you
-
power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power
-
of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall harm you.
-
Jesus gave authority. He talked about, he said I give
-
you the keys of the Kingdom. There's two parts to this
-
authority and access. We'll get to access in a minute.
-
But if you have keys, you have access and you have authority.
-
If you've got keys to a building, that means you've got
-
right to enter it and you got a right to be there, right?
-
You don't give somebody keys to your home if you don't want them
-
to have access. You don't give them passcode if
-
you don't want them to have access.
-
So if you give somebody keys, you are authorizing them to have
-
authority and access. And that's what Jesus said.
-
He said, I am giving you authority, authority, Authority
-
over the enemy, Authority over darkness, authority over the
-
works of the enemy. The church doesn't.
-
We don't. We're not here begging for
-
authority today. We're not here praying.
-
Oh God, oh God, give us. Oh God, give us.
-
Oh, no. If you understand that when you
-
are born again, you have been given authority.
-
The blood of Jesus Christ, the name of Jesus that we sang about
-
this morning, that name gives you an eye.
-
Authority. We have authority.
-
We've been bestowed authority. Authority means legal right.
-
It means jurisdiction. It means endorsement.
-
When the church operates in that awareness, demons have to
-
recognize the command. Darkness has to has to respect
-
the decree. Doors have to open.
-
You see, Hell's greatest fear is that you begin to understand who
-
you are when you begin to know your identity.
-
If you don't know your identity, you don't have any authority.
-
Some walk they they walk in defeat because they don't know
-
their identity. And because they don't know
-
their identity, they don't have authority.
-
Hell has limited power, but the church has legal permission and
-
the church has unlimited power. I love the story in Acts 19.
-
In Acts 19, there was some, some, some guys, some they're
-
called the sons of Skiva. And they had been, they had been
-
watching Paul. They had been watching disciples
-
of Paul and disciples of, of Christ.
-
This is many years after after the outpour of the Holy Spirit
-
in Acts chapter. 2. And, and there was a man who was
-
demon possessed and, and these guys tried to, they thought it
-
was a formula. So they tried to cast this demon
-
out of this man. Well, the demon spoke and said,
-
Jesus, I know Paul, I know, but who are you?
-
Who do you guys think you are? And nothing happened.
-
You see, you see, there's a lot of counterfeits today.
-
There's a lot pretending that they're Christians, pretending
-
they have authority, pretending they have they have access.
-
But if you are a child of God today, if you'll become born
-
again, if you're not and you'll become born again to, you'll
-
have authority over the enemy. And so, so Jesus, I know Paul.
-
I know you see, You see, Hell knew Jesus and Hell knew Paul.
-
But they didn't know who these guys were because they weren't
-
walking in true faith. They were showing off a fake
-
badge. When you know who you are and
-
when you know who's you are, Hell won't ask.
-
Hell won't say I don't know you. Hell knows you.
-
Hell knows who you are. Hell knows you when you when you
-
begin to call on Jesus, when you begin to say the name of Jesus,
-
when you begin to speak Jesus over your children, when you
-
begin to speak Jesus over your needs, when you begin to call
-
upon the name that is above every name.
-
Hell knows who you are because you've got the blood of Jesus
-
Christ on your life. And you see, it's that blood
-
that not only that gives you authority, but His blood gives
-
you access. We can't approach the Father
-
without the blood of Jesus. You can't, you can't approach
-
the Father and ask for your needs to be supplied.
-
You can't approach the Father and, and, and, and receive the
-
benefits and the blessings of heaven.
-
If you haven't already, come through the name of Jesus and
-
through the blood of Jesus Christ that forgives us of our
-
sin. It's the blood that made a way.
-
The veil was torn not from the bottom up, but from the top down
-
so that access can to be made by you and I.
-
The Bible says let us come boldly to the throne of grace
-
that we may obtain mercy and find help in the time of need.
-
The church that that that hell can't stop.
-
It's the church that knows it has access.
-
And let me tell you something, every one of us has access right
-
now into the throne of God. You don't have to beg for
-
access. There's some places you and I
-
would go today. We could go today and we
-
couldn't get, we couldn't get through the front door because
-
we don't have an access pad. We don't have a keypad, we don't
-
have a key fob. We don't, we don't have access
-
into this building or we couldn't get past security.
-
We couldn't get on an elevator, we couldn't get up the
-
escalator. We couldn't get past this
-
secretary. We couldn't get past this floor
-
because they've got restrictions and it would say access denied.
-
But for the child of God, there is no denying of access for you
-
and I to come boldly to the throne today.
-
So whatever your need is, you can.
-
You've got access. You've got access to approach
-
Him. If you need deliverance, there's
-
access for you today. If you need healing, there's
-
access for you today. Into the surgical room of
-
Almighty God where He can perform healing on your mind,
-
body, soul, and spirit. Today, Churchill can't stop.
-
Knows its author, knows its authority, knows its access.
-
And here's I'll stop with this one knows it's anointing,
-
anointing, the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
-
You want to prevail, You want to overcome.
-
You got to have the Holy Spirit. You got to have the anointing of
-
the Holy Spirit because the Bible says the anointing breaks
-
yokes. The anointing destroys bondages
-
and breaks yokes. It takes the anointing of the
-
Holy Spirit, the anointing, the power of God that anointing
-
heavens. The anointing is heaven's
-
empowerment for earth's assignment.
-
It's not just oil on your head. It's God on your life.
-
The oil is symbolic there, there, there's there's
-
physically no power in this, in this oil, but it's a
-
representation. It's symbolic of the anointing
-
oil of God, the anointing of God's power.
-
And spirit of hell fears the anointed because the anointed
-
operate in a realm where flesh can't function.
-
When you're anointed, you speak and heaven confirms.
-
When you're anointed, you worship and change, shatter.
-
When you're anointed, you pray and prisons shake.
-
The anointing makes the the ordinary unstoppable.
-
That's why the Church has to operate in the anointing of the
-
Holy Spirit. That's why we lay our hands on
-
the sick and we anoint with all because we believe they shall
-
recover. The anointing breaks chains and
-
Samson's hair was restored. So was his anointing.
-
The anointing wasn't in his hair.
-
It was symbolic of the covenant. It was symbolic of the
-
relationship. But even in his weakness, Hell's
-
house fell because the anointing was restored.
-
When the anointing is present, Hell can't prevail, so Hell
-
can't stop. What the blood covers, what the
-
Spirit feels, what the Word sustains.
-
What the name empowers and the hope that anchors.
-
US. You're part of a church today
-
that hell can't stop. You're part of a movement today.
-
You're part. You're part of a living thing.
-
Be thankful for the church. Be thankful that God, God has
-
God has established the church. It's a place of refuge.
-
It's a place of. Healing it's a.
-
Sanctuary, it's a, it's a place of it's a place of communion.
-
It's a place of restoration. It's a place of renewal.
-
It's a, it's a place of laying down.
-
It's, it's a place of burying where we bury our, our, our sins
-
and our past and, and when we get resurrected to new life.
-
Are you thankful for the Church today?
-
Because if you're a part of the church, hell can't stop it.
-
Hell can't stop the strategies. Hell can't stop the church
-
because the tomb's empty and the throne's occupied.
-
I'm done. Hell can't stop the church
-
because it's marching under orders from the King of Kings.
-
Hell can't stop the church because its weapons are not
-
carnal, but they're mighty through God till the pulling
-
down of strongholds. Hell can't stop the church
-
because the Lion of Judah roars within her walls.
-
Hell can't stop the church because her foundation is
-
unshakable and her future is unstoppable.
-
Hell can't stop the church because what's owned by God
-
can't be overthrown by Satan. Tell your neighbor Hell can't
-
stop this. He's tried to stop.
-
He's tried to stop some of you. He's tried to.
-
He's tried to stop you from coming to church.
-
He's tried to stop you from confessing Jesus.
-
He's tried to stop you from giving up and laying down sins
-
and habits and addictions and hang ups.
-
He's tried to stop you from. Progressing in your faith, he's.
-
Tried to stop you from receiving healings and miracles.
-
He's tried to stop you from from putting your life back together.
-
He's tried to stop you from having your marriage restored.
-
He's tried to stop you from having peace in your mind.
-
He's tried to stop you from walking.
-
But I'm here to tell you, Hell can't stop.
-
Hell can't stop what God's put in motion.
-
Hell can't stop what what God has planned for you.
-
I'm glad today that I'm in an unstoppable.
-
Thing today. The Church of Jesus Christ,
-
would you stand please? Is this all right?
-
Did you receive anything today? The word encourage you today.
-
Because that's the power of God's Word.
-
It strengthens us. It encourages us, but even.
-
Now the powers of hell try to distract somebody, try to
-
distract somebody from saying. I need to.
-
Give my life fully to. Jesus.
-
Powers of hell try to distract somebody from receiving a
-
miracle that you. That you were designed and
-
intended. To have today the powers of hell
-
will distract. You even now from trying.
-
From keeping you and hindering you from opening up your life
-
and allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to just come in and
-
touch you. So would you just lift up your
-
hands toward him? Let's just.
-
Praise him for a moment. Thanks for listening to the
