  1. Welcome to the Cross Power Church podcast.

  2. You're listening to a service from our church in Campbell, TX.

  3. We pray this message strengthens your faith and points you to the

  4. cross. Now let's join the service.

  5. The goodness of God, it's a great thing.

  6. And I preach to you today out of Acts chapter 3.

    Acts 3 chapter mention

  7. Very familiar passage of Scripture here, but there's a

  8. whole lot here. The setting of the Scripture in

  9. Acts chapter 3, the day of Pentecost, one of the greatest

    Acts 3 chapter mention

  10. outpourings upon planet earth had happened, and Peter, which

  11. had denied Christ, was now enabled by the Holy Spirit to

  12. preach Christ. Thousands were saved that day

  13. and it was a great outpouring. And you know, many sit around

  14. and wait for the next outpouring.

  15. But Peter took that which had been given to him.

  16. Will you, will you listen up this morning?

  17. He took that which had been given to him and he did

  18. something with it. And I titled this today.

  19. What have I done? What have I done?

  20. You know, when we look it out, I think of this worship team up

  21. here and I think of us. We've been together 16 years.

  22. Doesn't happen, doesn't happen in a praise and worship team in

  23. the church most of the time. And you know, we face a lot of

  24. persecution up here a lot of times.

  25. And should have did this, should have did that.

  26. But, you know, one common denominator I found, and I've

  27. been in prayer about it this week that has binded us

  28. together, that has helped us together.

  29. And I'm so blessed to have two ladies here and my daughter that

  30. was raised in church. And there's one common

  31. denominator and I and it's missing in the body of Christ.

  32. And anytime we have persecution, we face an issue.

  33. They come, they have come to me with it and they always say,

  34. what have I done? Can I do something different?

  35. What a testimony. See if we all looked at ourself

  36. that way, it's we always want to talk about what everybody else

  37. has done. But what have I done with what

  38. God has given me? But see what I have to do?

  39. I have to give. And that's what Peter said on

  40. this passage of Scripture here. Let's read it.

  41. Let's stand in the reading of the word.

  42. You know, the word's the most important thing in our life.

  43. In Acts chapter 3, Peter was about to partake and be a

    Acts 3 chapter mention

  44. witness of a great healing and he was headed to church.

  45. He was headed to the temple. In verse one it says Peter and

  46. John, they, they went up together to the temple at the

  47. hour of prayer. They was headed to the temple.

  48. It was a day is that was very familiar to much of them.

  49. The 9th hour that they would go to the temple to pray and and to

  50. bring alms. And in verse 2 it says there was

  51. a certain man that was lame from his mother's womb, and it says

  52. he was carried whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple,

  53. which was called beautiful. So you got to get the picture of

  54. this. Had I had the question, had

  55. Peter and John went to the temple before?

  56. Had they walked by this man many times?

  57. You know, we, we don't know, we will never know until we walk up

  58. and say, hey Peter, how many times did you walk by him before

  59. the Holy Ghost came upon you and you decided to pray for him?

  60. We don't know. It says the man was laid there

  61. every day and the man that was laid at the gate every day.

  62. How many think he was expecting the same thing every day?

  63. He was only hoping that someone would come by and drop something

  64. in his bucket or something in his hat because he had been

  65. crippled from birth. This man that Peter came upon,

  66. he never knew what it was like to get up out of the bed in the

  67. morning and complain about putting his shoes on and

  68. complain about had his feet hurting.

  69. He never had that privilege. Amen.

  70. Because he was crippled from birth.

  71. He had never took a step. He did not know what it was like

  72. to walk. Can you imagine?

  73. But his life was about to change.

  74. And it says a certain man he was lame from his mother's womb.

  75. Get that? He had always been crippled.

  76. That's what the enemy likes to do to us spiritually today.

  77. You've always been this way. You've always had this in your

  78. life. It's a generational thing and it

  79. can't be changed. It can't be broke.

  80. Come on, somebody, That's what the enemy wants to do.

  81. But this day was different as he laid by the gate of the temple,

  82. which was called beautiful, to ask for something from those who

  83. entered the temple, who's seen Peter and John?

  84. He's seen them and he recognized something.

  85. You're talking about people that have been in the presence of

  86. God. They knew his name and it said

  87. he was about to go into the temple and and ask for alms and

  88. fixing his eyes on him. Something this day caught John

  89. and Peter's eye about this man and he got their attention.

  90. He said, look at us, see if you're not looking to the

  91. healing and the healer, if you're not looking for the

  92. anointing, you might not find it.

  93. Preach that Wednesday night about distractions and about

  94. grieving the Holy Spirit. So he gave them his attention.

  95. You got to give the Holy Ghost your attention if you want the

  96. Holy Spirit to fall upon you. He was expecting to receive

  97. something from them, but what he was expecting to receive was not

  98. what he got at all. He was hoping for some money in

  99. the hat that would satisfy the flesh, I'm sure.

  100. And Peter looks at it. Think about Peter.

  101. What was Peter really saying here?

  102. He had no money, but he knew where to get money because the

  103. master had told him to go to the mouth of the fish and collect

  104. the coins and pay Caesar that which was Caesar's.

  105. So Peter knew money wasn't the issue in his life or that man's

  106. life. But Peter knew that he didn't

  107. need the money to do what God had called him to do.

  108. And as Peter looked at him, he knew that the man, he knew what

  109. the man was thinking. He knew it because he was

  110. hearing from the Holy Spirit. And he immediately says, what

  111. you're looking for. The silver and the gold I do not

  112. have. But what I have I give you in

  113. the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.

  114. And he took him by the right hand.

  115. I love that. You know, you always mention the

  116. right in the Bible. It's always good.

  117. The left is always bad. That was free, but he took him

  118. by the right hand. Where is Jesus seated at the

  119. right hand. Peter didn't only know who Jesus

  120. was, bless God. He knew his name.

  121. He knew where he was from and he knew where he was setting and he

  122. knew what hand that Jesus was going to touch him.

  123. And when he touched his right hand, the power of God shot

  124. down. His hands plumped to his feet.

  125. And he said, now rise up and begin to walk.

  126. What I have I give you in the name of Jesus Christ of

  127. Nazareth. Rise up, been walking.

  128. He took him by the right hand and he lifted him up, and

  129. immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.

  130. So he was leaped up and he stood and he was walking and he

  131. entered the temple. I preached the message on that

  132. before. Before he entered the temple, he

  133. was walking and leaping and praising God, one translation

  134. said. But when he got in the temple he

  135. begin to walk. See, sometimes the church folk

  136. will slow you down, sometimes the temple will slow you down.

  137. Just come on into the house, keep praising, keep leaping.

  138. Don't let the House of God or what somebody thinks ever slow

  139. you down. Keep going.

  140. And all the people saw him walking and praising God.

  141. See, when he entered the temple he was just walking and

  142. praising. He wasn't leaping.

  143. Keep leaping. And then they knew that it was

  144. he who set begging for alms at the beautiful gate of the

  145. temple. And they were filled with wonder

  146. and amazement at what had happened to him.

  147. Father, we thank you for your word this morning.

  148. We thinking that your word is real, it's truth, it's life to a

  149. lost and dying world. I pray for the anointing to

  150. preach the gospel as you've given it to me this week,

  151. Father, and that you would just touch the hearts and the souls

  152. of those. I pray that what's keeping us

  153. from walking and leaping and praising God would fall off of

  154. us this morning, that we would realize who we worship and where

  155. He's from and where we're going. It's in your Son's name, we ask

  156. and we pray. Amen.

  157. Lane from birth never took a step, had to be carried and laid

  158. at the gate called beautiful to lay there daily.

  159. You know, we relate this to our life.

  160. We can drive down the road. We see a lot of this today.

  161. We see a lot of it and we look for a cure.

  162. Our leaders that we elect, they look for a cure.

  163. How do we stop it? What do we do?

  164. We see a lot of this today. Some are lame, but some are not.

  165. Hello. Some are healthy, some are able,

  166. but some refuse to go forward and it's no different in the

  167. spirit realm. Some are crippled because they

  168. choose not to get up and not to go forward.

  169. With labor shortages across America at an all time high, I

  170. believe if someone wanted to go forward a man, they could go

  171. forward. But the root of this problem,

  172. the root of the lame man's problem, could it be in what

  173. they have been given? Peter said.

  174. I don't have silver and gold, but what I have, I give you.

  175. What we have is a is a hidden treasure in a vessel.

  176. Amen. Of eternity and of hope of and

  177. grace for the world. But yet we choose to give the

  178. wrong thing Many times when I watched my father die of

  179. alcoholism, I watched his flesh deteriorate off of his bones

  180. that I watched him in alcohol poison.

  181. Many times when I would stop by his house, I witnessed this.

  182. And you know, every time I prayed the holy, I prayed for

  183. him, but I also prayed God give him the knowledge that you have

  184. given me in my mind to overcome this thing and let it get in his

  185. heart. Because I, I believed if he

  186. could just take the knowledge of how to defeat the enemy.

  187. Amen. I believe if you could take

  188. what's taught here and just take the knowledge of what's in the

  189. Word of God and begin to give it, begin to apply it.

  190. There's nothing that we cannot overcome, but we choose not to

  191. give it. You need to give the knowledge

  192. of the Word of God to your problem, not to somebody else.

  193. A lot of time and say what can I do?

  194. What do I need to face? But see, the root of the problem

  195. many times is what we have been given.

  196. I always thought that though. I thought how easy is the

  197. addiction to overcome if you can just get the knowledge of the

  198. Word of God within your mind and let it fall from your mind into

  199. your heart and begin to give and do what it says.

  200. What was going on in their mind that day?

  201. What was going on in the lame man's mind?

  202. Just let the holy they just let the Holy Spirit minister to that

  203. man. He he could get up at any time

  204. if he had faith in God. But Satan had made it his life.

  205. The enemy makes our failures. The enemy makes our addictions.

  206. The enemy takes our mouth and uses it for his masterpiece to

  207. defeat others. But see on this day, two men

  208. that had been with Jesus that knew that money couldn't and

  209. wouldn't fix the situation. Somebody ought to say, man, why

  210. don't we keep chasing it? It will not fix the situation.

  211. And Peter said silver and gold I do not have, but I love what he

  212. said here. But he said, what I do have,

  213. What I do have I give you in the name of Jesus Christ of

  214. Nazareth. Rise up and walk.

  215. Peter. What was Peter really saying?

  216. He was saying I know a name. Hey, man, he said, I know a name

  217. that can raise the dead. I know a name that opened

  218. blinded eyes. I know a name that when he was

  219. three days late, he called Lazarus name and he came forth.

  220. I know a name, man, that paid the taxes when we couldn't pay

  221. him, when we had nothing. I know a name and I believe

  222. Peter had to be thinking, guess what, I have that name dwelling

  223. in the inside of me. And he said I can use it.

  224. You can use the name above all names.

  225. Why don't we use it? And he even told us greater

  226. worse than he did, we can do because he goes to where the

  227. right hand of the father. And in Acts 4-7 and nine, we

  228. have a great promise that says when he ascended on high, he led

  229. captivity captive. Think about that those it was

  230. captive to sin and in captivity he said I took you captive and I

  231. gave you some good gifts. What did Christ do?

  232. He gave. So what did Peter do that day?

  233. He gave and all the disciples, what did they do?

  234. They gave a man they gave their life.

  235. They gave for this for this privilege that we have to

  236. approach the throne of grace with boldness in our time of

  237. need. What do you have this morning

  238. and what are you giving is my question.

  239. Peter gave him Jesus, the name above all names, but but he

  240. didn't stop there. He reached down.

  241. You know, we're good at praying and we're good at seeking the

  242. seeking the Lord for our neighbor until it begins to cost

  243. us something. And I, I want to pray for him.

  244. I want to give God bless him, but I don't want to be involved

  245. in the blessing. I really don't want to have to

  246. get out of my little routine on Monday morning or through the

  247. week to do anything. Come on, somebody out of the

  248. way. But what you're giving, someone

  249. can receive it and run with it. What did the man do?

  250. He didn't just receive it, he was received it.

  251. And he said, I got to get up. I got to go to see, let somebody

  252. be amazed at what God has done for me.

  253. But see today so many only give advice.

  254. Somebody say man, anybody, Hey man, you've had advice, right?

  255. I get a lot. I hate advice.

  256. I really don't if it's good advice.

  257. I just don't like the people that give it to me.

  258. No, I'm kidding. I just don't like receiving it

  259. from some people. Right?

  260. Advice. What is it?

  261. It's a recommendation offered for a future action.

  262. That's what advice is. It's you.

  263. It's you recommended me do something different or somebody

  264. recommended you do something different at a different date,

  265. at a different time. And most of the time, if what's

  266. working in your life, you may not need advice in that area.

  267. You might just keep doing it right.

  268. I wonder if this man said anything.

  269. Well, Peter, you ain't going to give me any money.

  270. You're going to give me what you have.

  271. What do you have? I don't believe that was the

  272. case. I believe the anointing of Peter

  273. was so strong because the Holy Ghost had just fell upon Peter,

  274. something which Peter had been promised by the Father.

  275. He said it's going to come to you.

  276. And when the Holy Spirit falls upon you, Peter, you're going to

  277. be much different than you are today.

  278. You're not going to stand by a fire when the pretty women walk

  279. by and say, hey, you're that one that was with Jesus of Nazareth.

  280. You're not going to say no, I didn't know the man, I didn't

  281. even know him and lie to their face.

  282. But when the Holy Spirit falls upon you, Peter, all things are

  283. going to become new. And even when the shadow of you

  284. falls upon those that are sick and the lame, they're going to

  285. feel something. I wonder if the lame man offered

  286. advice to Peter, they would today if you went back.

  287. You go, you go ministering on the streets.

  288. I have. And you go talk to somebody and

  289. you say, hey, God has called me to pray for you in this area.

  290. They said, no, I really, I think we need to pray in this.

  291. What do you know? You're a beggar.

  292. You want to tell someone that's been fasting and praying and

  293. seeking God about where to walk and where to go and what to do,

  294. and you're laying there begging and you're going to tell me how

  295. to pray for you. Go witness.

  296. You will find that to be prominent in a lot of people's

  297. lives. And I say no.

  298. God wants you to deliver from this so he can fix that.

  299. Let me pray for Noah. I don't want to pray for that

  300. preacher. Uh oh, that's mine.

  301. I ain't giving it to nobody, not even God, is what they're

  302. saying. But yet we want the blessing,

  303. yet we want the healing, yet we want the Holy Ghost.

  304. Hello. I'll never forget when I learned

  305. this in ministry. Never take criticism.

  306. How many take criticism? We take it.

  307. And then after we take it, what it does to us can devastate some

  308. people. It can cause people to it can

  309. cause them to sit down and never get back up your criticism.

  310. It can do it. But see, I have learnt to never

  311. take trouble. I love this.

  312. I'll never forget to take God. Give me that.

  313. He said, what do you do? Take it?

  314. Would you take advice from that guy or that one?

  315. I said, well, Lord, no, I'm not sure they even read their Bible.

  316. Hey man, I see their life and they're more concerned about

  317. their phone than they are anything.

  318. Hello gossip. Would you take advice from that

  319. is eat me up. Anybody ever had to eat you up?

  320. Especially in the rodeo business, when you make a really

  321. good ride, some yo-yo comes up and tells you, hey, no, you

  322. should have did that. Really.

  323. You ain't never even done it. Where was I going?

  324. Never take criticism. Write this down if you remember

  325. this. It'll change your life because

  326. you take criticism. You either take it and use it,

  327. you use it in a positive way, or it will just tear you down and

  328. put you in neutral and you're just idling.

  329. I'll try this and they criticize.

  330. Never take criticism from someone you wouldn't take advice

  331. from. If I would take advice from you,

  332. I will take criticism from you. But if you've never stood up

  333. here and preached, I'm not taking criticism from you.

  334. I'm going to let it go, right? But see today, people that have

  335. never done the things of God, what God has called them to do

  336. in our lives, seem to have the most advice.

  337. Hello. Had the cripple had that advice,

  338. giving tongue in his mouth, he might not have got up.

  339. Peter said. Son, you no more than I do, just

  340. lay there and stay crippled. But I got something I can give

  341. you. Bless God that when it gets into

  342. you fitting to get up and you fitting to do something, what I

  343. have, I give you. But I have learned this and it's

  344. really helped me in ministry and in life.

  345. Write it down. Never take criticism from

  346. someone you wouldn't take advice from.

  347. And I have learned that people cannot give and I cannot give.

  348. I had a young man that went to a church one time.

  349. I knew the preacher and he come to me.

  350. I've had this happen on more than one occasion.

  351. And he said preacher, I've been told me pastor been reading my

  352. Bible and I'm going to church over here.

  353. And I don't get this. I don't get that.

  354. And it's like the preacher stopped.

  355. Sure. He said why, why, why does he

  356. stop right there? Why does he read the rest of the

  357. why, why, why, why? And it come out of my mouth.

  358. I said it's because it's all he has.

  359. Kind of cruel I guess, but it's true.

  360. If I haven't seen healing and I can claim healing, but if I

  361. haven't participated in the healing, I can't tell you what

  362. it's like. If I've never been addicted, I

  363. can't tell you what it's like. So take your addiction that God

  364. has set you free with and go give it to somebody and say I

  365. had it, but I ain't got it anymore.

  366. But let me tell you what Jesus did for me and let me tell you

  367. how life can be. What do we give?

  368. Peter didn't give money. It's easier to pull out a 20 and

  369. say God bless you and never engage and feel good about it

  370. when you walked away because you did help something.

  371. You don't know what you helped but you may have helped

  372. something. But spiritually you probably

  373. didn't help anything, right? I've learned this.

  374. You can't give that what you do not have.

  375. And if you don't have it, many try to create that which they do

  376. not have by intellectual thinking.

  377. Y'all ready for this intellectual thinking?

  378. What is it? Have you ever thought about what

  379. intellectual thinking does? We have brilliant minds teaching

  380. the Bible but have never performed any of the miracles in

  381. the Bible. Hello, none of the disciples

  382. that tell me if I'm wrong but I don't read where they had any

  383. intellect. It says that Paul and them was

  384. uneducated unlearned men but there was something different

  385. about them. They had spent time with Jesus

  386. Christ. Reading the Word is a great

  387. thing. But what do you do with the

  388. Word? What do you do with it?

  389. Go practice it. Because, see, intellectual

  390. thinking always does something. Intellectual thinking about the

  391. Bible and about the things of the God and about the things of

  392. the Kingdom, it does. This intellectual thinking makes

  393. us blind to the simplicity of it all.

  394. There's people that don't get healings because they think they

  395. can't understand the healing. There's people that don't get

  396. see miracles in their life and see the supernatural power of

  397. God supply the needs of their life because they can't

  398. understand it. There's people that don't forget

  399. filled with the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in unknown

  400. tongues because they try to put their intellect and own it and

  401. understand it. You can't understand it.

  402. I like what Brandon I went and seen his baby the other night

  403. and he said of Mexican family come over and prayed for us.

  404. He said I didn't understand a word they said.

  405. He said I guess they were praying in tongues over me, but

  406. I and his wife looked at me. You know what she said But I

  407. felt it. Hey man, you don't have to

  408. understand it, you just got to feel it.

  409. The crippled didn't understand how the legs that was under him,

  410. that had never took a step, the legs under him and the feet that

  411. had never strapped the sandals on because there was no need to.

  412. He didn't understand it. Hey man.

  413. But when he did not understand it and Peter gave him something

  414. of that which he couldn't understand, he had to run to the

  415. store and buy him a new pair of sandals because the feet that he

  416. now had were blessed of God and anointed of God.

  417. How are you sitting there this morning?

  418. And they was fixing to take him somewhere that he had never

  419. been. Intellectual thinking only makes

  420. us blind to the simplicity of it all.

  421. Just answer Jesus call. I love those words.

  422. Your answer is not on the computer.

  423. You must realize, just as Jesus taught, the answer is not on the

  424. computer. It's not on the Google.

  425. It's on the knee in the sand. It's on the knee in the sand

  426. writing a word with something that God made the dirt of the

  427. earth and that somebody could read that shut every mouth and

  428. every advice giver around him. He stooped down and he wrote

  429. something and they walked away. They couldn't condemn.

  430. Man, I'm like Landry, when I get to heaven, I want to know what

  431. he wrote. I want to know what he wrote.

  432. Hey, man. Because it changed a lot of

  433. lives, changed a lot of lies. Are you getting this this

  434. morning? If the computers would crash, it

  435. would mess up a lot of people, All right.

  436. But I think the power of God could become more prevalent in

  437. her life because we wouldn't be reading about it.

  438. We'd be experiencing it. It's better to do what give than

  439. to receive. Most spiritual people today only

  440. want to receive. They don't want to give.

  441. So what I do, I must give you. See, if you're not operating

  442. under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the enemy will send you

  443. someone your way, someone your way with their mouth open.

  444. You never know what the someone that you open your mouth to is

  445. going through. Man, that's hit me in the face a

  446. lot of times what they're going through.

  447. Because see, the enemy doesn't want you to give anything he

  448. doesn't want, if any, if anything, he wants you to give

  449. false advice, negative down grading things.

  450. And so many fall into this towel and into this trout.

  451. But the enemy will send you to those that are trying to do

  452. something for the Kingdom many times and that might be tired,

  453. they might be struggling. What do you give them?

  454. What do you give them? Give them Jesus, grab them by

  455. the right hand, lift them up, lift them up.

  456. Have something to give them from God, from the throne room.

  457. Not what you've read in the number one best seller.

  458. Have something from God. I want to be this.

  459. How about you? I want to have something to give

  460. them other than silver and gold. What I have, I give you.

  461. In the name of who? Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

  462. Peter not only knew his name, he knew where he was from.

  463. He had spent time with him. But when you know his name,

  464. Amen. When you know his name, you can

  465. be loosed from whatever binds you, being loosed from whatever

  466. binds you. But I challenge you to ask

  467. yourself the question, what do I give?

  468. I can't give that which I do not have spiritually.

  469. I cannot do it. I cannot do it.

  470. I've tried it. We go to Daniel, chapter 3.

    Daniel 3 chapter mention

  471. We read of three Hebrew boys that were facing criticism.

  472. They were being criticized for something that most people don't

  473. want to do today. What was it?

  474. Pray and not worshipping a fake God?

  475. People today had rather stay at home and worship a fake God.

  476. They were being thrown in the fiery furnace.

  477. Why? Because they wanted to worship,

  478. and the king declared A decree and they said, we don't care

  479. what your decree is, we're going to keep worshipping you do what

  480. you got to do, but I'm going to do what I got to do.

  481. And I know that silver and gold and anything you got to offer

  482. me, King, it's not going to be better than what my God has.

  483. But what I have, I'm going to give to my God.

  484. When I give it, someone can receive it and run with it.

  485. But think about this story we read.

  486. You need to go home and read if you hadn't read it in a while.

  487. It's a great story. But I was reading this story

  488. this week and it really got in my spirit.

  489. I've read it preached on it many times, but something this time

  490. was was a lot different. But in Daniel chapter 3 three we

    Daniel 3 chapter mention

  491. read of the Hebrew boys a great story, but they were being put

  492. in the fiery furnace because of what?

  493. Because of their worship, because they they were

  494. worshipping God, and it aggravated the king and

  495. Nebuchadnezzar. In Daniel 3 and 13 it says

  496. Nebuchadnezzar was in his rage and fury and he gave a

  497. commandment to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

  498. So they brought these men before the king, and Nebuchadnezzar

  499. spoke, saying to them, Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and

  500. Abednego, that you do not serve the gods or worship the golden

  501. image which we have set up? Now if you're ready at the time,

  502. you hear the sound of the horn and the flute and the harp and

  503. the all these things, he said, I want you to fall down and you're

  504. going to worship the image which I have made.

  505. But if you do not worship, you should be cast immediately into

  506. the midst of the fiery furnace. All they want to do was worship

  507. man that got in my spirit. All they want to do is pray to

  508. their God and be left alone. But the devil had to get to

  509. medley. Somebody need to tell the devil

  510. don't meddle with my God, because you finna lose.

  511. You go to meddle with my God. If if I give that which my God

  512. has given me, they something unique fixing to happen to all

  513. the people around me, right? But if I don't give it ain't

  514. nothing going to happen. And it says, get this, It says,

  515. And who is the God who will deliver you from the hands?

  516. And Shadrach and Meshach and Abednego answered, and they said

  517. to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in

  518. this manner. You ain't got to defend God.

  519. Just let him be God. If that is the case, our God

  520. whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery

  521. furnace. And then he shows great faith,

  522. and he will deliver us from your hand, O King.

  523. But I love what he says. Every Christian needs to get

  524. this, but if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do

  525. not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you

  526. have set up. So, Nebuchadnezzar.

  527. He was full of fur. He was full of fire and full of

  528. madness. An expression on his face

  529. changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

  530. He spoke and commanded that they heed the furnace seven more

  531. times than it was ever heated before.

  532. Think about it. That'd been a great place for

  533. Christians to run. I know what I said, but I didn't

  534. mean it. And he commanded certain mighty

  535. men of valor who were in this army to bind Shadrach, Meshach,

  536. and Abednego, and they cast them into the burning, fiery furnace.

  537. Think about that. They bound them.

  538. They rapped, probably burlap around them, where they would

  539. burn faster and hotter. And then these men were bound in

  540. their coats and their trousers and their turbans and their

  541. other garments, and they were cast in the midst of the burning

  542. fiery furnace. Therefore, because the King's

  543. command was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the

  544. flame of the fire. Think about it.

  545. They were in the fire and it killed those men who took up

  546. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They didn't get in the fire and

  547. it killed him. It was so hot.

  548. How many's ever been there? How many's ever been in that

  549. spiritual battle? It it was so hot.

  550. You didn't even want to get in it because you could just feel

  551. the heat from it and you didn't want to fight it and you didn't

  552. have faith that God would deliver you.

  553. And you just wanted to get back from that thing.

  554. You just wanted it to be gone. And it killed all those around

  555. you that had faith. Maybe not them, but it killed

  556. their faith. Anybody ever been there?

  557. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they fell

  558. down into the midst of the fiery furnace.

  559. Then King Conevor was Nebuchadnezzar was astonished,

  560. and he arose in haste, and he spoke, saying to his counselors,

  561. Man, I can picture this king up there.

  562. He said that we not cast 3 into the midst of the fire.

  563. We all stay with me this morning.

  564. Somebody needs this. Did we not cast three men?

  565. Not only are they walking around, but they were bound.

  566. See, sometimes it's in the fire that God has placed you so that

  567. the things that are binding you can be melted and pulled off of

  568. you. But yet we cry about the fire

  569. instead of trusting that the God that we serve knows what needs

  570. to be unbound on us, knows what needs to fall off of us.

  571. We get in the complaining mode when God is working a plan.

  572. Don't. Don't run from the fiery trial.

  573. Did we not cast three men bound in the midst of the fire?

  574. I can picture him looking in this dungeon.

  575. Did we not cast 3 in there? And they answered, O King, true

  576. King, yes, look, he said, but I see something different.

  577. He said, I see four men and they're not bound, they're

  578. loosed and they're walking around in the midst of the fire

  579. and they're not hurt. And the 4th man has a form of

  580. the Son of God. I begin to read that.

  581. I thought, how did King Nebuchadnezzar, how did he know

  582. he didn't believe in God? How did he know what the Son of

  583. God was? See the enemy that you're fury.

  584. He knows what your God looks like.

  585. He know because somebody stand to their feet and give him

  586. praise in the my house. Maybe you're in the fiery

  587. furnace this morning, but he's burning that off of you.

  588. Who is the 4th man in the fire? He looks as the Son of God.

  589. He has the image. See the enemy knew.

  590. The enemy knew what Jesus looked like.

  591. Maybe he had read the book of Isaiah and heard about it and

  592. heard about the prophecy of it, but there was no way he had seen

  593. that. But my God, he, the power of God

  594. was so strong. He knew who Jesus was.

  595. Amen. When you're in the deepest,

  596. darkest trial of your life, the enemy knows what your Jesus

  597. looks like. You just have to keep the faith.

  598. Keep the faith, keep the faith, he answered.

  599. I see four men. Now.

  600. I want to tell you what God revealed to me.

  601. This. I'd never caught this.

  602. I had never caught this. Who's seen the 4th man?

  603. What was Nebuchadnezzar doing? He was inflicting the man that

  604. was inflicting seen the 4th man. And it caused him to stop.

  605. Hello. It caused him to stop the

  606. affliction because he's seen an image of the Son of God.

  607. You ready for this? Did Shadrach and Meshach see the

  608. 4th man? Whoa.

  609. They didn't see him, but I bet they felt him.

  610. Amen. They didn't see him.

  611. As you may not see him this morning, you may help me.

  612. Holy Ghost, You may not see him this morning.

  613. How many would stand as we close and say I may not see him, but

  614. he's there. The enemy sees him.

  615. He's working things out to your good.

  616. The enemy did not see the 4th man.

  617. There's no record of it in Scripture.

  618. He didn't seem when you're walking around and you're all

  619. bound up. I just need to hear from God.

  620. He's there. He's there when you're if you're

  621. the crippled man that's laid by the gate that that's taking

  622. money is the answer. Silver and gold will not help

  623. you. But Peter said what I have, I

  624. give you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Why didn't

  625. King Nebuchadnezzar see the image of the?

  626. Why did he see the image of Christ?

  627. I guess it's for the atheists. They can't understand the

  628. Trinity. Hello.

  629. The enemy seen him before he was even born.

  630. The enemy knew that there was something that he was going to

  631. have to reckon with. He knew that when Grace hit

  632. planet Earth that there was a king that would die on a cross.

  633. That when you're walking through the fire and you think it's out

  634. to get you, it's just burning some things off of you.

  635. It's just melting some things off.

  636. It's just some binding you. Hey, man, how many need unbound?

  637. Church? If we've ever need unbound in

  638. our life, we need unbound today. We need unbound today.

  639. We need to be to the place where criticism doesn't even enter

  640. into my head because I know what I'm here for.

  641. I don't know what you came here for, but I know what I came here

  642. for. Hey, man, I'll start tomorrow,

  643. tonight getting ready for the next one, and I'm going to be

  644. ready. Hey, man.

  645. Because what I have, I want to give you and I want to have

  646. something to give you. Hey, man, I want the enemy to

  647. know that there's a fourth man that's walking around in my

  648. fire. He's unbinding me this morning.

  649. There's a great scripture in the Bible that says whatever we buy.

  650. Can you imagine Jesus looking at those people that day?

  651. He said whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven.

  652. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

  653. I got to tell it. Can I tell it?

  654. Can y'all stand? I've been standing a long time.

  655. Y'all stand? Some of you has heard it, some

  656. of you need to hear it. I was going through a trial at

  657. this point in my life. I had silver and gold, but I

  658. hadn't been spending time with God.

  659. I'd been busy chasing the dollar, working, and I was even

  660. preaching at a few places, enough to make me feel good.

  661. Come on, somebody, don't make me think I'm the only one.

  662. Just hadn't been giving God His time.

  663. And that can become a sin in your life.

  664. When you get rid of all the other stuff and purge it out of

  665. your life, there can be a little thing that so easily beset you.

  666. I'd heard a story many times, a brother, Ron Canaster, talking

  667. about an Angel coming to his rodeo arena.

  668. And I'd pick the rodeo up that week, and I'd stayed after the

  669. rodeo. My family come home.

  670. I couldn't be with them because I had to go make money, had to

  671. be away another week. And Brother Ron had told me

  672. about this guy that would show up and be sitting in the

  673. grandstands of his rodeo arena when nobody was there on a

  674. Monday morning, whenever it was he only had a rodeo once a year.

  675. He said he always shows up. He's in dirty clothes.

  676. He shows up at the time that I am going through stuff here at

  677. this church. He was pastoring that church.

  678. So I stayed over on a Monday morning and we were about to

  679. have coffee. And Brother Ron looked up and he

  680. said, that's him. That's the Angel I've been

  681. telling you about and he come up there, we're going in and he

  682. looked at brother Ron and I was coming around the corner.

  683. He said I need to talk to somebody that's here today, but

  684. it's not you, it's somebody else.

  685. He pointed over there to me. He's the only one here.

  686. He's the only one here. I walked over and he said can I

  687. talk to you? We went in, we sat down, just me

  688. and him. Had a little smell to him, was a

  689. little dirty. He reached across the table from

  690. me and I'll never forget it. He said the Lord has called me

  691. here today to tell you that whatever you bind on earth will

  692. be pound in heaven. Whatever you lose on earth will

  693. be loosed in heaven. I spent about a year praying

  694. God, what am I binding? He walked off and he said, I

  695. walked outside. I said where'd he go?

  696. And I didn't even see him. I didn't try to judge who he

  697. was. I just knew the word he had and

  698. the Holy Ghost begin to deal with me about what I was

  699. binding. I spent a year praying God, what

  700. am I binding, what I need to loose.

  701. Hello, I was one of them early on I didn't see no need in

  702. standing raising a hand. I couldn't hardly talk about

  703. Jesus loud in front of people. I said God, what am I binding,

  704. what I need to loose. I spent a year figuring that out

  705. a year. Don't tell me God won't meet you

  706. in the fiery furnace. Don't tell me God won't loose

  707. those things that's bound to you that only the Holy Spirit can

  708. really can, can open your eyes and loose you from the things

  709. that's keeping you from being all that Christ has called you

  710. to be. God is not in a shortage of

  711. power. We're shortage in the way we

  712. speak of the power of God. We talk in such a way that we're

  713. defeated. But I challenge you as a song

  714. plays, how many's going through a hard felt Hallelujah this

  715. morning? Let's play that song.

  716. A hard felt Hallelujah. Sometimes it's hard to say

  717. Hallelujah. Would you bow your heads and

  718. just get in the spirit? Well, if God wants me in the

  719. spirit, he'll put no, no, no. You put yourself in the spirit

  720. this morning. Learn to just step out.

  721. Because see, that's what binding and loosening is.

  722. Whatever I bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever I

  723. lose. What did Peter do that day when

  724. he walked by that beggar that had been crippled from birth?

  725. What did he do? He he loosed Steven.

  726. But Peter had to unbind his spirit, right?

  727. Had Peter not unbound himself, he couldn't have loosed the man.
