Have your Bibles tonight being Mark chapter 6, Exodus 3 and a

Mark 6 · chapter mention

few other places and I told Charlie while I go and I looked

around not a lot here. I said man.

I don't. I don't want.

To preach this tonight, I want to wait on wait till a Sunday to

preach it. Hey man, but they're always they

always touch me. So I try not to preach anything

to y'all that don't touch me. Hey man, I found when I do that

it's God does the work. I was at Miss Margie's the other

night talking to a lot of the families.

I've only been in church here a few times, but man, they were

just bragging on our church and what they felt when they were

here. And you know, I Sunday we didn't

have church. I went to town, had to get some

feed and do some things there and and tended to animals and I

I didn't know so many people went that didn't come to church

worried about where I was at on Sunday.

They were like, y'all didn't have church.

I'm like, no, it's it was a little bit snowing the roads a

little bit bad, but I'm out feeding.

I get it. But I said it ain't just me that

has to come. There's some of y'all old that

folks that had to get here right, but anyway, they were.

There and I was like. It's hard not to say you've only

been there twice while If you're worried about it, come and see.

We're having it next Sunday, right?

But man, everywhere I'd go and I and I didn't even know these

folks so. We're pretty popular, huh?

It's a good thing they know we're supposed to be in church.

Hey, man, that's the way I, I try to live my life.

They know where I'm supposed to be and when I ain't there

somebody going correct me, right?

What a good way to live. But now this message it got a

hold. Of me and I.

I titled this message tonight. He would have passed them by.

I wonder how many times? Jesus has passed me.

By or passed you by and we didn't really realize.

It. It came in the form of a

blessing or something that we thought that he was going to do

different, but yet he was he could have passed them by.

Let's. Stand and read the word.

Tonight in Mark chapter 6 and verse 45, this setting of

Mark 6 · chapter mention

Scripture finds Jesus having just fed 5000 people with with

five loaves of bread and two fish.

A great miracle. If you're a cook, you know

that's a great miracle. To have that much food.

And have baskets leftover and being able to feed that many.

So the disciples had just come off of a great miracle.

They had seen Jesus do something that was just unheard of to feed

that kind of multitude. But yet he was fixing to rock

their world again. Here in 45 people was scrambling

around. I'm sure there was talk going

on. If it would have been today, Fox

News would have been there with a mic trying to figure out how

this man. Fed 5000 people with five loaves

and two fish. So if I'm a disciple.

I'm thinking I would. Probably had a little faith

right now, right? But in 45, it says immediately

made his disciples get into the boat and go before him to the

other side to beside her. They were traveling a Six Mile

journey when you study. It out and.

Jesus had stuck them out there in the boat and He knew there

was a storm going to be coming. But while He sent the multitude

away, He had sent them away and he departed to the mountain to

pray. Even in the midst of a miracle.

Right after the miracle, Jesus went to pray.

You might ought to make a note right there.

He didn't stop what he was doing because he hello had received a

miracle. He went and prayed because He

knew there was more miracles to come, right?

And he knew that God still had not accomplished what He was

trying to do in his life while He was up on this earth.

So He went to pray make a note there.

Now an evening came. The boat was in the middle of

the sea. This is a very familiar passage

of Scripture. And he was alone on the land.

And in verse 48 it says that he saw them straining at rowing.

If you have a new King James, he saw them straining at rowing.

That just jumped out. At me when I read.

That for the winds were against them.

Now, about the fourth hour of the night, 3:00 to 6:00 in the

morning, about the fourth watch, it says he came to them.

They were on the sea. The winds were blowing.

It was a bad turbulent time. If you were in the boat, they

were scared. And about 3:00 in the morning to

6:00 in the morning, Jesus went out walking on the sea.

But this really hit me when I read this.

So he's walking on the sea. His disciples are troubled right

there. And it says that he would have

passed them by. Can I say that again?

He would have passed them by. And when they saw him walking on

the sea, they supposed it was a ghost.

And they cried out, for they all saw him and were troubled.

But immediately he talked with them and he said to them, be of

good cheer. It is.

I do not be afraid. Father, we thank you for your

word once again. We pray for the anointing to

preach your word. And we pray that this scripture

would speak to us tonight and help us to realize where we at

and how many times that you try to move in our situation and we

simply let you pass us by. I pray that we get in our spirit

tonight. Father, we would not miss divine

appointments anymore. We would realize the hour of our

visitation when the Holy Spirit comes.

In Jesus name, say it with me in Jesus name, Amen.

He would have passed them by while they were straining and

rowing. It sounds kind of like life

today, doesn't it? We feel like many times while

rowing this gospel ship or the the career ship that we're

trying to arrive to a destination.

Many times we're straining at rowing.

Anybody feel like that in your Christian walk?

Sometimes you're rowing this ship, you're trying to live

right? You're trying to do all these

things and we get to we get to straining at rowing.

And while they were straining it, scripture tells us that

Jesus would have passed them by. Why would he have passed them

by? I believe that he was going to

just keep walking until someone recognized him.

And it says that they cried out. See, when they cried out he

would have just passed them by. But because they did cry out, it

wasn't because he didn't care. He was walking on what they were

afraid of. Whatever we're fearful of

tonight, He's already there. Amen.

He may not be there, they couldn't see him, but he was up

there praying on the mountain and he knew exactly where they

were. What?

What encouragement tonight to know that whatever you're

facing, God knows where you're at.

He knows what you're going through and He's up there

praying tonight for us. But we feel like this many times

because we don't cry out. It wasn't because he didn't

care. He was walking on what they were

afraid of and yes, as a child of God, many times we're fearful

and we're scared, but he's walking in the midst but yet

scripture says that he would have passed them by, but he

didn't because he heard their cry.

Thank God, our cries awake the Master, Amen.

Jesus wanted them to see his power.

He wanted to reveal that hey boy, look, I'm doing something

you never see nobody do. I'm walking on the, Can you

imagine the waves rolling, the Thunder popping, and Jesus is

just out out there walking and he's like, man, I just fed 5000

people and these guys don't even recognize me.

They're scared of me. I'm in their situation.

It's just another form that I'm taking on because they've never

seen it before. Hello.

Whatever you're going through, quit looking for the same Jesus

to show up because he can be whatever he has to be on that

particular day to meet your need.

Amen. And we're good at basing that

and basing our faith upon what we've seen Jesus do in

somebody's else's life, or even what we've read about him.

But the Word tells us that he longs to do exceedingly and

abundantly above all that this mind can think, ask, or imagine.

So when we step into that realm and we say, well, He's got to do

this today, but I just never seen him do it before.

Well, they had never seen him walk on water, but once they

recognized him for who it was, what did he say?

Because they cried out. He could have just kept going.

He could have just kept going. But we get in the realm, I've

cried out before. I've asked for that before, and

God didn't do it. So God can't operate in that

realm or that area of my life. We get stuck in that old game,

right? But it says he would have passed

them by, but He didn't because He heard their cry.

He wanted to reveal His power, but more than reveal what He was

doing at that time. He wanted His disciples to

recognize who He was and cry out to Him.

I believe more than just see him walking on the water, more than

just reading about what Jesus can do and and what he's already

done. Jesus was challenging his

disciples just as he's challenging us today to call on

him, showing that they needed him to take initiative, showing

him and and seeking his help that they was doing something

that we have to learn to do to see the power of God.

Amen. While we're straining and while

we're rowing, there's still some things that we have to that have

present in our life to see the power of God because many people

are not seeing or experiencing the power of God today.

He's always just to cry away. Have you ever found that it's me

that's too busy at rowing and straining at rowing that I'm

putting all these things in between me and God?

Oh, so why I can't do what God's called me to do or why God isn't

helping me do what he's called me to do?

Many have made it a habit to say, well, I'm just waiting on

God. I'm just waiting on God.

I've not found that to be true. I found that God's always

waiting on me. See, people that are about the

Father's business and are busy, God will give you something to

do and he will lay it out to where you're not waiting on Him

anymore. He's putting the ball in your

court and he's saying now you move.

He's waiting on you to cry out. ABBA Father in total surrender

is what he's waiting for. But many are like the disciples.

They're too focused on the problem, too busy at the

straining, too busy at rowing, focusing on the straining of how

hard it is to live, right? How hard it is to go to church.

When you get your eyes off the straining and the rowing and get

your eyes on the master that can calm the sea that's walking in

the midst of your storm that you failed to cry out ABBA father

today to and recognize him. He might stop and give you a

little power, right? Give the Lord praise.

How hard is it to make it in this world?

We focus on that. Yes, it can be hard, but if

you'll quit straining and rowing and realize that the wind and

the seas obey the God that we serve, keep rowing, keep trying,

keep moving, but don't forget to cry out.

What does cry out? Do what was Jesus really looking

for? Write this down #1 He was

looking for the same thing I believe He's looking for today.

Because we live in the greatest nation that has ever been, but

yet we are less dependent on God than we have ever been as His

children. In days of yesteryear there was

there was churches that that prayed for needs of the church

and actually prayed food in the cupboard or prayed food on the

table because they didn't know how the need was going to get

met. So they lived their life on a

daily basis. Say, man, I heard an old

preacher saying the other day, we didn't know what the doctor

was because even if we could find one, we couldn't afford to

go to 1. So he said we'd call a prayer

meeting and we'd lay hands and we'd begin to pray on the sick

and we'd begin to watch them recover because our total

dependence was up on him. I think there's a lot to that.

It says he would have passed them right by.

If we don't acknowledge him in the sickness and the things that

we go through in our life, He might just pass this right by.

He's looking for someone to cry out, but the enemy comes in and

says don't bother God with that. Don't cry out to God with that.

And we end up limiting God and we end up not putting our total

dependence up on Him every time. I pray, Father, where are you

taking us as a nation? Where are you taking us?

Where are you taking us in total dependence upon me?

I hear that God is total. Dependence up on God is a must

when you're straining and you're rowing through life if you don't

want him to pass you by. It says he would have passed

them by, but he saw their circumstance.

He knew that they were in trouble.

He knew that if something didn't happen, but he also knew that he

controlled the trouble. He controls the circumstance.

He controls how long the circumstance comes to stay and

when it goes. He controls that.

He doesn't need your help tonight controlling your

circumstance. He doesn't need us to tell him

how bad it is. He already knows and he's

already walking by. I believe that with all my heart

He sees today, but because of our lack of crying out, He

passes us by. In Luke 19 and 44, he was

looking upon Jerusalem and describing what would happen in

70 years later, and he said, because my people do not realize

the hour of their visitation, how many times do we miss the

visitation of the Heavenly Father?

Come on somebody, How many times does he pass us by?

God longs for our total dependence upon him and when we

cast all of our cares upon him because when we do something

happens in the spirit realm in Exodus chapter 3.

Exodus 3 · chapter mention

Let's look at this. God's chosen people, the

children of Israel. God knew that there was a

problem. He knew that they were they were

enforced slave labor and God was looking for a man.

Think about this. I want to read this chapter 3

and verse one. It says now Moses was tending

the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of the

of Midian, and he led. The flock in Exodus. 3 and 1, he

led the flock back to the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain

of God. And the Angel of the Lord

appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of the Bush.

So he looked, and behold, the Bush was burning with fire, but

the Bush was not consumed. Great miracle, but we're too

busy at straining and rowing. Many times I'm telling.

The older I get, the more I focus on the little things and

the way that God's trying to tell me, and I find He's in

them, He's there, He's there. But look, think about Moses.

If if we seen a Bush and you drove to work today and the Bush

was burning and you come back by tomorrow, you just think, well,

somebody set the Bush afire. They planted a new Bush.

It didn't burn up. They're even making this Bush

now. It's a hybrid hominogical bread

thing. It can burn without burning up.

It just fire won't burn. We would come up with something,

but see, Moses was in a place of hurt.

Because if you keep in mind what Moses had just done, he had

killed an Egyptian. He had murdered someone in

Egypt, and he was running and hiding out in the desert, and he

married Jethro's daughter and he was tending the flock.

But he was really hiding because he had murdered someone and they

knew about it and Pharaoh was looking for him, right?

But yet he noticed, hey, there's something different about this

Bush. It's not consumed.

And Moses said, look what he said, I will now turn aside and

see this great sight. Why this Bush burns and does not

burn up. Verse 4.

So when the Lord saw boy like this right here it goes right

with what I'm preaching tonight about the straining and the Roy.

But when God, when the Lord saw that, he turned aside to look,

when he just stopped and he said, I'm going to see what this

is about. When he stopped, it might not

have been about anything. I'm sure Moses wasn't feeling

too godly or too spiritual at the time, stuck out in the

desert, knowing that he could be the next to go on death row in

Egypt. But yet he stopped and he turned

aside. And when the Lord saw that he

looked, God called to him from the midst of the Bush.

Come on, somebody said Moses, Moses and he said here I am,

here I am. Then he said do not draw near.

He gives him a divine instruction right here.

That is very important. We sing the song about holy

ground. But I want to explain to you to

something tonight when you cast your total dependence upon God,

He did. Moses did not know why the Bush

didn't burn up. He didn't evaluate the

situation. He just said, I'm going to look,

I'm going to see what's happening here.

It may not even have been a spiritual thing.

Maybe it was pulling in him. I don't know.

I know I found that not everybody has that.

Can I just preach to you tonight?

Not everybody has that. When I lay down every night,

when I get up every morning, I thank God for whatever it is

that He's placed within me that a lot of people that I've hung

out in life don't feel they do that.

From the time I was a little bitty boy, I could hear a song

and something in me would have began to stir.

Amen. And Fast forward it to the

teenage years when I was doing things unpleasing to God.

I would hear that voice. I would always hear it and I

would stop and I would turn aside.

I mean, I thank God for that because a lot of people don't

even, they don't even have a clue when God is speaking to

them. But see, when he stopped,

something happened. And I'm going to give you the

key to this right here. It's total dependence upon God.

That's what it is. Every career I've ever had, from

the rodeo business to the drilling business to preaching

at a chart, everything's been total dependence upon God.

I did not know where the next was coming from.

It's been total dependence upon God.

And I've learned to look in the little places in life.

It's not in the big things. He said I'm the God of small

beginnings. Amen.

But he said, Moses, there's something you cannot do.

You cannot draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet,

for the place where you stand is holy ground.

He said, I'm the God of your father's.

I'm the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob

and he said, Moses, the place you, you, you might, you need to

hide your face and he hid his face because he was afraid to

look upon him. So what happens we we talk about

what was the when Moses took his shoes off.

I preach this many years many different ways, but Moses

stopped and he turned aside to see this great sign.

He took time to recognize something out of the ordinary

and what God saw. He sees everything that he

turned aside to look. God called to him from the midst

of the Bush. How many today would pay

attention to a sign if God sent it?

Not many. They would be too busy at

straining and roaring in the things of the world, right to

catch what God was trying to say or pay any attention to it.

See, many don't depend totally upon God.

We depend upon the circumstance and yes, the circumstance will

always be there, but write this down.

We depend on the circumstance. Why is that?

Why don't we focus on the circumstance today?

People say, well, I'm not taking my shoes off.

That'd be with some people's first.

First, I'm not getting that dirt on my feet.

I can't stand that dirt on. Moses took them off.

But see what Moses didn't realize and what we don't

realize, It wasn't just the taking off of the sandals.

See, somewhere in this walk we have to go to total dependence

upon God. What He was saying is, Moses,

take your shoes off because there's a part of your flesh

that has to touch my holiness. And see when your flesh touches

His Holiness and you realize that your life will be changed

forever. But we depend on the

circumstance. Why?

Because it brings a reaction. We want a reaction, right?

We depend on the circumstance which brings a reaction instead

of depending on faith because see, people lose out on this

thing we call faith because what is faith is the substance of

what we're hoping for, but the evidence we cannot see, right?

So we we create a reaction from the circumstance and make

something just like the children of Israel did at the bottom of

the mountain when Moses was getting a divine revelation from

God. We create something we can see,

taste, touch or feel that that from the reaction instead of

depending on our faith. That's deep, but it's true

because see, when people go through sickness, when they go

through financial problems, when they go through marriage

problems, whatever it is, we got to find that we we know the

circumstance, but we it actually end up many people serving the

reaction. We really do.

It becomes our God instead of depending on faith because you

can't see faith. Faith has to be felt.

What we see from faith is the is when faith is manifested and we

have believed in God and we see the end of result of what we

were hoping for and see. That's kind of confusing too

because faith is a substance of things hoped for described in

Hebrews and evidence of what we cannot see.

But see, I found a lot of time in the midst of the faith battle

of keeping the faith. We don't actually see at the

end, if we kept the faith, we don't actually see what we was

hoping for. Anybody ever found that?

It didn't turn out, but it turned out OK.

It turned out the way God wanted to.

It just wasn't what I was hoping.

You can be all dignified and say, oh, my faith always turns

out what I'm hoping for. No, many times it doesn't, but

it's a substance of what we're hoping for.

But it's the evidence of what we cannot see, that God can see

because He's omnipotent and He's omnipresent.

Y'all getting all this? But we depend on the

circumstance, and yes, the circumstance always will be

there, but as Moses, we must stop.

We must turn aside and see this great thing that God is telling

us because it's at the times that we do totally depend upon

Him and forget about the straining and the rowing on

life's troubles. See, we will see God's purpose.

We will see God's will for our life.

So many never see God's purpose. So many never see God's will.

They say, well, I want to pray. I want God to fill me with the

Holy Spirit, For what? What are you going to do with

it? I found that God is not willing

to give even His children that He loves His wonders and great

gifts. If He knows that we're not going

to do nothing with it, that's powerful, but it's real.

If he knows somebody's coming to the altar that needs prayer and

and he's given you a gift and you withhold from that, what

happens? He's going to pass right by.

And you know what, it's not always a person standing there,

his fault that God didn't deliver him and God didn't touch

him. It was the faith that you could

have had to come and pray for him and see God's power work

right and place. They don't know how to place the

total dependence upon him. There's so many that come to the

altars. They have no think back at your

walk when you was young in life, when there was no part of your

flesh had ever touched God's holiness and you couldn't even

believe for a burning Bush that God not placed in your life.

Think about it, somebody had to believe for you, didn't they?

But the church has gotten really good and leaving people alone

and not believing for them and tell them what we should do and

how we should do it instead of going and doing it.

Amen. I may not always do it right,

but I'm going to go do something.

Hey, man, I'm going to do whatever God calls me to do

because it's at this time when we place total dependence upon

Him and forget about the straining and the rowing on

life's troubles. See, we will see it.

Moses had no reason to hear from God.

Maybe you're here tonight the way you've been praying and not

reading your Bible or whatever you're going through.

The enemy comes. I have no reason.

That God should bless me. I have no, Moses didn't either.

He was a murderer. He was a stutter, right?

He couldn't even believe that the great staff that God had

placed in his hand. He even had to tell him.

What's that in your hand, Moses? I don't know.

It's a step. Throw it down chapters later and

it becomes a snake. It parted the Red Sea.

It did all kinds of miracles and it was in his hand.

But until he until he came to total dependence upon God and

cast it down on the ground, nothing happened.

Moses had no reason to hear from God.

He was a murderer. He had a speech problem.

But what happened when His Holiness of God touched his

flesh? Things change.

I want you, Moses, to go and tell Pharaoh to let my people

go. Go home and read the rest of it.

What happens? Moses gives all kinds of

excuses. He said I'm a stutter, I'm this,

I'm that. But see now Moses was at a place

that he could see the power of God because he had placed his

dependence upon God. As I said, I found that God will

not give you that which you're not willing to use for His

glory. But when you choose dependence

upon God, you need to realize. Some things it's a God.

That's never failed. It's not hard.

It shouldn't be hard for us to place total dependence and trust

upon a God. That's never failed.

But when I place total dependence, why is this

important? Number one is cry out, right?

When you cry out, you're placing total dependence upon God.

I can't do it. I have a father that's the

highest, the highest course of worship there is.

Is saying my father like a kid saying dad or daddy.

It's the same deal saying cry out, say daddy, because that

throws dependence upon him. And when total dependence upon

God is released from us, what happens?

He releases power. He releases the power.

What we're really looking for is the power of God in our

situation, to stop the storm, right?

To calm the things in our life and the winds and rest from the

straining and from the roaring. He calms the fears and steps

into the boat with them. I think that's a lot of it.

They want we want God to calm the storm, but we really don't

want him getting in the boat with us.

Say man, he don't we don't want him to determine what course we

can take. Just calm the storm.

Stay out there. Just bless me.

Just just definitely not get sick.

Just do this. That's OK.

But don't get in the boat because see when he gets in the

boat. He's going to be close.

And there's going to be some change.

Take place he. Calms the fears and he steps

into the boat. What happened?

The winds and the storms ceased. Let's read the rest of that.

I think it's verse 50. One let's go back to Mark 6.

He said be of good cheer in verse 5051 be of good cheer in

his eye. He had to tell him who he was.

Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid.

They went up into Then he went up.

It let me back up, Then he went up into the.

Boat to them. And the wind ceased, and they

were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure and

marveled. I'm just wondering why they were

amazed. They thought God could feed 5000

with five loaves and two fish, but he couldn't calm the storm.

You know, that's the way we are. I was reading that today.

God spoke to us. That's the way my children.

Are today they they limit my miracles because.

They think I can do. This but this is a little too

big. They were amazed beyond measure.

You know, that's what that's what the God we serve wants to

do. He wants to amaze us beyond

measure when we cast our total dependence upon him for they had

not understood. See, they were still stuck in

the they were still stuck in what God did.

They were still talking about why?

Well, how did he do it? Can you imagine the talk of of

what they were doing? It says that they had not

understood about the loads. Had they just took it as a

miracle and went on, they might have recognized Jesus as he came

walking across the sea. But they did not understand

about the loads because their. Heart was hardened.

Why was their heart hardened? You ever wondered that?

Why was their heart hardened? Because they didn't.

They they believed in that somebody brought some food.

Maybe they professed that something else happened.

I don't know. Why was their heart hardened?

Anybody got any input there? Why would their heart be

hardened after seeing 5000 people?

Fed with two fish. Why?

Would their heart be hardened because they tried to dissect?

The miracle probably they tried to figure out how it happened

just like we. It doesn't matter.

Just cast total dependence upon him, cry out child of God number

one, place your dependence upon him and #3 is receive the power

we're promised in Acts chapter 2 and verse 8, Jesus said I'm not

Acts 2 · chapter mention

going to be here any longer, but he said you.

Slap yourself on the chest. Say aye, you shall receive power

when the Holy Ghost has come upon you.

Isn't that powerful? But people don't receive the

Holy Ghost because they don't cry out.

They cry out. I'm a Sinner in need of a Savior

and the Holy Spirit. Comes in and many camp out.

Right there the rest of their life.

But I want to read a little bit farther and I'm going to close

in John 14. And chapter 15, I'll give you

time to get there. This ties right back into.

Exodus 3 What? Happened to Moses.

What did I say? Happened to Moses a while.

Ago when he took his sandals off.

Part of his fleshed touched holy ground.

It touched a holy God. The presence of God was so

strong that that day Moses flesh got changed, his fleshly heart

got changed, he'd become a servant of God.

And look what Jesus promised in John 14.

He says, If you love me. Keep my commandments.

You know that's so. Important.

But if you go preach that today in a lot of places, they'll say,

well, that's what the cross is for.

It's to forgive my failures and therefore I don't have to.

I can't. Keep all the commandments.

Could it be the same thing the disciples were doing over the

loaves of fish? Their heart was hardened because

they'd seen the miracle. The greatest.

Miracle in our lifetime. That we could ever experience is

the forgiveness of the blood that ran down the old rugged

cross. That's a great miracle, right?

But yet we still try to figure that out.

But Jesus takes it back. He says if you love me, keep my

commandments. Now why is that important?

Let's read verse 16. If you love me, keep my

commandments. That's why we preach holiness.

And he says when you do this, when you begin to keep right,

when you begin to cry, I can't keep them.

So that's why I cry out. That's why I place my dependence

upon Him because I can't keep them right.

And when I say that and I cry out and my total dependence is

up on God, I receive power from on high.

So my part is to make sure I keep the commandments because

when I do verse 16 is that one of the greatest things in the

word of God. Jesus tells us that if you love

me and keep my commandments, I'm going to pray the Father.

I'm going to pray for you. That's where we get the verse.

He's sitting at the right hand of God, make an intercession for

you and I tonight. He's praying in a way that we

could never pray. Amen.

And he said, and I will pray the Father and he will give you

another helper other than salvation.

I'm going to give you a helper that he may abide with you

forever, because when you keep my commandments, part of your

flesh becomes holy, that he may abide with you forever.

He's the spirit of truth. So if I'm not keeping the

commandments, I don't have the spirit of truth, right Whom?

The world, I love that right there the world cannot receive.

I'll never forget one night on a long ride, a boy asked me.

He said, how can I get what you got?

I said #1 I don't think you're willing to pay the price.

To get what I got. He looked at me and he said,

what's all happened at the cross?

I said, yeah, salvation happened at the cross.

But you're not asking for salvation.

You're asking how do you get what I got, how I walk around

all these rodeos without falling into temptation.

And I said, that's what you're asking, how am I happy when I'm

supposed to be sad? That's what you're asking.

I said, I'm not sure you're willing to pay the price.

Well, what price did you pay? I said, I let my flesh touch His

Holiness, say man, and I'll let him fill me with the helper and

the spirit of truth. And when I said, when that

happens, you will be different because let's face it, I know a

lot of Christians that ain't different.

They're same as the world. Why?

Because maybe they don't have Jesus interceding for them.

We fell into the deal. Well, he just, he, he's not a

respecter of persons. And that is true.

The Bible God is not a man that he should lie, but he is no

respecter of persons. But I all through this Bible, he

is a respecter of faith. If I have more faith in you, I'm

going to receive more than you, right?

If you have more faith in me, you're going to receive more

than me. And he says, I've given every

man a measure, everybody's got a measure.

But he says I long to fill him, to overfill him, because I'm

going to pray the Father. And he will give you another

helper, that he may abide with you forever.

The spirit of truth in the world cannot receive because it

neither sees him. Just like the disciples that

night on the troubled sea, they didn't recognize Jesus, but as

they begin to cry out, they begin to see Him.

It neither sees him nor knows him.

I like this part. But you know him, for he dwells

with you, and he will be in you. And I will not leave you as

orphans. I will come to you.

What a promise. I challenge you.

Cry out as you stand your feet. Cry out, child of God.

Maybe you can't cry out in the church.

That's OK. Find you somewhere to.

Cry out. Cry out.

Place your dependence upon him. Receive the power.

If there's anything we're lacking today is a chill as

children. Of God, it's power.

It's power, but he. Promised right there in Act 2,

he said. You shall receive power when the

Holy Spirit, but the problem is most the Church.

Thinks the Holy Spirit is salvation.

They've never been any deeper. Why?

Because they've never cried out. It's amazing to me.

How many Christians are scared to cry out?

I had a call this week from a guy goes to a different

denomination. Than we are.

We're not one. But he said I want to know.

He said I. Run the soundboard and I sit.

Back there week after week and I I see a man's wife.

That's dying of cancer and. He won't even go.

To the altar, he said. How does he do that?

Why? Can't he just get up and go down

there for prayer? For he said, I don't understand.

I said pride. He's never cried out.

He's never cried out. You know you.

Can die in your sin because simply because we never.

Cried out Isn't that powerful? Jesus would have passed.

Them by. He would have passed them by,

but they. Cried out.

Maybe you're out on the. Water tonight.

Maybe the storm is raging. I challenge you.
