  1. Welcome to the Cross Power Church podcast.

  2. You're listening to a service from our church in Campbell, TX.

  3. We pray this message strengthens your faith and points you to the

  4. cross. Now let's join the service.

  5. Well, good morning. Oh, we almost got everybody to

  6. say that, didn't we? Good morning.

  7. There you go. Say, the more you put into this

  8. service, the more you get out of this service.

  9. If you sit here on your hands and look like the hogs just ate

  10. your little brother, you ain't going to get nothing out of the

  11. service, OK? We are the Eubanks.

  12. We're from a big metropolitan area called Bismarck, Arkansas.

  13. Boy, it got quiet in here quick, didn't it?

  14. Hot Bismarck is down there. Hot Springs.

  15. We we we're there now. Good deal.

  16. We have been traveling. We sold our houses three years

  17. ago or so and we are traveling full time.

  18. You know, God kept telling us go full time, go full time, you

  19. need to be out on the road. We'd stick our toe in that water

  20. and we'd back up and say we did it.

  21. God, he's no, you didn't stick our toe in that water.

  22. We kept doing that. Everything we did failed

  23. everything we tried because we tried.

  24. If you hadn't been, and I'm starting, it's totally different

  25. this morning and I if you ain't figured out in life if you'll

  26. shut up and get out of the way and be still, you'll find out a

  27. whole lot of stuff. Had an old man tell me one time,

  28. if you can't hear God's voice, shut up.

  29. Took me 40 years to figure out what he was trying to say.

  30. We are from Bismarck. We are the Eubanks and I'm

  31. trying to remember what else I was going to say.

  32. We are not here to entertain you.

  33. We are going to sing here in a few minutes.

  34. We ain't your entertainment. We're here to uplift his name

  35. because he is worthy. So you get into it.

  36. Pastor, we didn't even discuss. Do y'all use these pieces of

  37. wood over here or is that just decoration?

  38. All right, let let me tell you, he and I have not discussed this

  39. this morning and I apologize this is my fault.

  40. But he said take liberty. So I'm about to.

  41. I don't care what we're doing. I don't care what we're saying,

  42. and I don't care what's going on in this.

  43. If you need help, but if you need prayer this morning, you

  44. get up here. Your salvation, your need, your

  45. your Jesus mainline is far more important than anything we'll

  46. ever sing. Our whole job with this

  47. ministry. Everywhere we travel, we've got

  48. #1 number one goal. And it is to make heaven as

  49. crowded as possible. So without all that in mind, I

  50. will, I, I'm going to do something else that I never do.

  51. This one right here. Since y'all, how many of have

  52. seen us before? 1 of you put your hand down,

  53. Lonnie. You don't count dear friend of

  54. ours. This is my much better half.

  55. I out kicked my coverage. I'm thankful that you know I

  56. used to make a joke that she drives everywhere we go.

  57. All I'd had to do was hold the steering wheel mash gas in a

  58. brake. Since this happened I set over

  59. and be a passenger Princess and keep my mouth shut.

  60. So I've had people ask did how? How hard did she hit you?

  61. My brother, she didn't touch me or I wouldn't.

  62. Both eyes would be covered. So could not imagine doing life.

  63. Could not imagine doing ministry or anything else without this

  64. one. You just it take me over an hour

  65. to start beginning to explain what all she does for this

  66. family. Would you make her welcome?

  67. This is Jennifer Eubanks. Get you out of the way.

  68. Like I said, we're doing this totally different than we've

  69. ever done. So this one, huh?

  70. Oh, well, you'll know who we are now.

  71. So when you start throwing things at us, you'll know who to

  72. hit. This one is 18 years old.

  73. She graduated high school at 15, ranked number one in her class.

  74. And of course, the fact that she was homeschooled helps that out

  75. a whole bunch. She still hates that joke.

  76. She is an incredible young lady of if.

  77. If I remember and we have time here in a minute, I'll tell you

  78. how her persistence and and her dedication to God is what put us

  79. as a ministry together to continue on down the road

  80. because we we were at a crossroads roads where we were

  81. either going to stop or don't you do it.

  82. She's quick witted too. And and but we're she believes

  83. everything that we're singing. She is into this for God.

  84. She's had opportunities to do other things at 18, and she

  85. could, if she can hide from dad long enough to do it, because

  86. I'm not going to let her. But she believes everything that

  87. we're singing. She's born again Spirit Field,

  88. and we could not be more blessed as parents.

  89. This is Emma Eubanks. All right, All right.

  90. I'm going to get the elephant in the room out of the way.

  91. You ready? She really did marry.

  92. No, that wasn't the that way. Hey, we're supposed to laugh as

  93. Christians and have fun, right? If you can't laugh at yourself,

  94. you call me and I'll laugh at you.

  95. But all right, the eye patch. I'm going to congratulate y'all

  96. because since June of last year is when this happened, y'all are

  97. the second church and group of people that not a single person

  98. made a joke about my eye patch. I'm serious.

  99. I am very serious. There are no pirate jokes.

  100. There hadn't been any. Any jokes like that don't bother

  101. me. I'm retired cop.

  102. I can handle a whole lot more than that.

  103. But what bothered me about that? You go into a restaurant, ain't

  104. nobody saying the thing about it.

  105. You going to a church? They're making jokes and having

  106. fun with it. What are we doing to people

  107. outside of our church that's coming in here?

  108. Y'all need to be proud of the fact that nobody did.

  109. Pastor, You're, you're leading a good flock.

  110. That's everybody's on it. We've had a bunch of people talk

  111. to us this morning. Love meeting you, love meeting

  112. more of you here in a little while.

  113. But that, that's a big thing. And it's not because it, oh,

  114. it's spared my feelings. It ain't got nothing to do with

  115. that, but you bring somebody in. Why would I, as a center

  116. outsider, want to come be a part of a God thing if all I'm going

  117. to do is get hurt? I can get that in a bar.

  118. So y'all, y'all are with me. I like this crowd.

  119. So I'm going to shut up and we're going to sing now, all

  120. right? For Joe that lost his health,

  121. wealth and all the rest and as his troubles added up, he fell

  122. down on his knees and said, Lord, I've still got one thing

  123. that you love for me. You got to count your blessings.

  124. You'll find one if. You drive, count on the Lord,

  125. and watch that blessing multiply.

  126. Those might have, could have, should have been, are nothing

  127. but distressing. When you're down and down, it's

  128. time to count your blessings. How many all are blessed this

  129. morning You might go. Through hard times when you fall

  130. into despair, remember you're surrounded by His blessings

  131. everywhere. It's in a neighbors helping hand

  132. or in the sunshine of a smile. One blessing leads to one more.

  133. You'll be calm for a while. It's best to look at what you

  134. have, forget what you have not, and just learn a lesson from old

  135. job. Give thanks for what you got.

  136. You got to count. Your blessings.

  137. You'll find one if you try. Count on the Lord and watch that

  138. blessing multiply. Those might have, could have,

  139. should have been, are. Nothing but distressing.

  140. When you're. Down and out.

  141. It's time to count your. Blessings 1.

  142. Risen Savior 1. Perfect love one only problem.

  143. One is enough. You've got to count your

  144. blessings. You find one if you try.

  145. Count on the Lord and watch that blessing multiply.

  146. Those might have, could have, should have been.

  147. Are nothing but distressing. When you're down and out, it's

  148. time to count your blessings. Thank you that.

  149. Upset, lost and lone, I was living in

  150. sin. Empty without.

  151. I was dying within. And.

  152. Then I met the Potter and he molded this clay.

  153. I thank God for the changes. He made every drop of this

  154. world. It washes whiter.

  155. Than snow. 1. Such year this garment can hear

  156. and make you home from the cross.

  157. O Mount Calvary to win the stone roll.

  158. Night way. I thank God for the changes he

  159. made. How many are we thankful for the

  160. those changes he made in your life?

  161. A. Blind man can't see, the lame

  162. can't walk again. I've been forgiven for all of my

  163. sins and now the past is far behind me.

  164. I know I've been saved. I thank God for the changes He

  165. made every drop. Of his blood.

  166. It washes whiter. Than snow. 1.

  167. Touch of his garment can hear the naked woman from the cross O

  168. Mount Calvary to win the song roll away.

  169. I thank God for the changes he me.

  170. I thank God for the changes. He me.

  171. Real quick, I know we already talked about our sweet little

  172. Emma. And as her Mama, I'm so proud of

  173. her. She is incredibly smart,

  174. incredibly talented. But at the end of the day, as

  175. her Mama, I'm so thankful that she is willing to step out and

  176. tell others about Christ. And, and she does that and the

  177. Lord has given her a beautiful gift of discernment.

  178. And sometimes that is a heavy load to bear, but she handles it

  179. so well. And for a while she didn't want

  180. to tell us about it because she thought she was being

  181. judgmental. And we told her, you know, if

  182. the Lord has given you a gift, you use it.

  183. And it's not to be judgmental. It's because he's telling you

  184. how to discern what's happening. And so we're extremely proud of

  185. her, but she's going to sing this next song.

  186. And, and I will introduce him in a minute, but this is Terry.

  187. And he wrote this song when he was 17.

  188. And it's a, it's a simple song, but it's so poignant for today

  189. because we all need to just trust the Lord.

  190. If you've given your heart and soul over to the Lord, then

  191. there's no reason why we can't just trust.

  192. But we try to get, you know, get in the middle of all of that and

  193. we make things worse. But she started singing it

  194. pretty regularly when she was 17.

  195. And last year, it was really, it's kind of been her song now.

  196. And for the Lord to take a song that Terry wrote at 17 and that

  197. she could start using as a ministry tool when she was 17, I

  198. love to see how the Lord works. So we hope that you enjoy this

  199. song. It's called Trust in the Lord.

  200. They took the man to Calvary, nailed him up for all they see,

  201. and humiliate him. When they thought that he was

  202. dead and gone, they placed his body in a tomb and forgot about

  203. him. But they didn't know what they

  204. were in for. When the storm was moved, he

  205. wasn't there anymore. He had gone away.

  206. Well, that same spirit still moves around.

  207. He'll pick you up when you're feeling down if you trust in

  208. Him. Trust in my Lord, He'll help you

  209. every day. He died on the Grove to take

  210. your sins away. Trust.

  211. In our Lord, help free from your sin, no problem in life.

  212. It's too big for him. How many y'all know that there's

  213. nothing too big in my life that my God cannot handle?

  214. And if your life's burning down with a heavy load and you feel

  215. as though you cannot go on up a. And the going seems a little too

  216. rough. No problem in life is ever too

  217. tough. If you'll turn to him, just bow

  218. your head and pray before him you're.

  219. Free from your earth. Listen to Set You Free.

  220. And through the blood of Jesus Christ, He is already paid the

  221. price and is waiting for you. Trust in.

  222. The Lord He'll help you every. He died on the to take you sins.

  223. Away trust in. My Lord, He'll free you from

  224. your sin. No problem in life is too big

  225. for him. No problem in life.

  226. Is too big for him. Amen.

  227. I love that song. And Terry didn't expand kind on

  228. what had happened with his eye. But last year was a it was a

  229. wild year. And when you submit your life to

  230. ministry, a lot of times the devil comes at you a whole lot

  231. harder than anything else. And last year, so in June, he

  232. had a stroke in the optic nerve behind his eyes.

  233. So just the nerve, not a body stroke, but it's caused him to

  234. be pretty much completely blind, according to the doctors.

  235. And they say that it will not return.

  236. But I know a healer and it between the two of us, we went

  237. to the ERI don't know probably four or five times last year and

  238. got a lot of new diagnosis that we were not prepared for.

  239. And so I was pretty defeated. It doesn't take much when you

  240. start getting, well, you got this and you got this and oh,

  241. you're blind now in that eye and you can't see and it starts to

  242. add up and it starts to weigh on you even as a Christian, because

  243. I I know that the Lord has it in control, but I wasn't letting

  244. him have control. And so I was reading one day and

  245. I'm going to share this with you.

  246. So this verse is Matthew 1720 and 21.

  247. If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this

  248. mountain, move from here to there and it will move.

  249. Nothing will be impossible. And again, I love how the Lord

  250. works. We were at a church and pastor

  251. gave us some mustard seeds. And I carry this everywhere we

  252. go. And I kind of at first when he

  253. gave it to me, I thought, why is he giving me a jar of mustard

  254. seeds? And I don't know why this is my

  255. reminder to let and I'm sorry, but to let my faith take over my

  256. fear because last year was a lot of fear.

  257. But I got to reading because that verse kind of struck me

  258. funny. You know, we get to we get to

  259. thinking about how small a mustard seed is.

  260. And growing up, it was always, you know, well, you just have to

  261. have this amount of this amount of, and I just thought, oh, OK,

  262. I got to have this tiny amount of faith.

  263. But as I started reading, you know, I, I learned a whole lot

  264. more and I can deep dive into things.

  265. But if the Lord put it in his word, I want to know why.

  266. There's a reason why God is sharing that with us.

  267. So I kind of deep dived and went on this whole thing with a

  268. mustard seed and I realized and I got real excited.

  269. I, I figured out some 4 words and I wrote them in all caps in

  270. my Bible. And I was chasing Emma down

  271. trying to share them with her. She's looking at me like what

  272. are you talking about? But way back when the mustard

  273. seed was absolutely invasive. So when it was in a field and I

  274. don't know if any of y'all farm, it took over.

  275. So whatever you were farming, if there was a mustard seed there,

  276. it crowded out everything. And you know it basically with

  277. the soil, it just dominated it. So nothing else could, could

  278. grow. And so farmers hated it because

  279. they knew that they, they wouldn't be able to control it

  280. or contain it and, or manage it. And so when Jesus was speaking

  281. about having this faith as a mustard seed, at that time,

  282. those readers and those listeners knew that these

  283. mustard seeds were uncontainable, invasive,

  284. dominating, and unstoppable. And so as I started, I kind of

  285. sat there and I pondered that and I thought, OK, all right,

  286. Lord, I get it. I got it.

  287. And I had to do like a a little self check on my face.

  288. So I'm going to ask you what I asked myself, is your faith this

  289. morning uncontainable? Is your faith invasive?

  290. Do you let it invade your entire life?

  291. Is your faith dominating? Is your faith unstoppable?

  292. I had to ask myself that. And I can promise you the answer

  293. was to no. Every single one of those

  294. because we've just been through so much.

  295. And I just let everything just take over and become a negative

  296. Nancy. But my God is bigger than that.

  297. And so this year, and I'm not one of those that like picks a

  298. word of the year, you know, and takes takes that.

  299. But these words stuck with me because if a farmer who knew

  300. that this little mustard seed was not tiny in his book, that

  301. it was what was going to dominate his field, then I can

  302. apply that to my life and my faith.

  303. So I'm going to tell you these 4 words again and just think about

  304. that with your faith. Let your faith be uncontainable,

  305. invasive, dominating, and unstoppable.

  306. I think we could almost change the world if all of us would let

  307. our faith be unstoppable. There's a lighthouse on the

  308. hillside there. Overlooks.

  309. Live scene when I'm tossed it seems out of life that must see

  310. the shin lanes in or out now. I will safely leave the storm if

  311. it wasn't. For that lighthouse.

  312. Yeah. Well, this ship would be known

  313. and I thank God for the lighthouse.

  314. I owe my life to Him, for Jesus is the lighthouse, and from the

  315. rocks of sin He. Has shown.

  316. The light around me that I can clear the sea.

  317. If it was and for the lighthouse.

  318. Where would this? Sure.

  319. Be everybody that lives around us, says Tare.

  320. That lighthouse? The big ships don't sail this

  321. way anymore. There's no use of it standing

  322. right. Then my mind goes back to that

  323. storm, and I went just in time. I saw the light, yes, the light

  324. from that old lighthouse that stands upon me.

  325. And I think for the lighthouse, I owe my life.

  326. To Him for Jesus is the light house, and from the rocks of sin

  327. He has shown the light around me that I can clearly see.

  328. If. It wasn't for the light house.

  329. Where would this ship be? I walked in this morning, heard

  330. him singing that, and I've drove many miles to that song.

  331. Kept me going. In 1970, it was #1 by the

  332. Hensons, and they're modest. They're not going to tell you,

  333. but they got it at #8 right now, so that's awesome.

  334. Hey man, the old is coming back and I'm glad you know it.

  335. It doesn't take smoke and misters and dark house to

  336. worship the Lord, you know, I found he's with me in the light

  337. and he's with me in the darkness.

  338. But them old songs mean something to me.

  339. Amen. They were rolled out of out of

  340. heartfelt stuff and I can understand them.

  341. Some of this new stuff, I don't know what they're saying.

  342. Is that part of getting old? Some of y'all that's older than

  343. me? I mean, it sounds, it sounds

  344. good, but I really don't know what they're saying.

  345. So I can't get a blessing out of it, you know, kind of like

  346. joining in on a picket line. Some of them don't know what

  347. they're doing. They're just doing it.

  348. You know, I'll never forget in Asheville, NC, I talked to some

  349. animal rights activists one time and a guy had a toboggan on and,

  350. and it was summertime and he was out there.

  351. And I said, why don't you come and look at some of these horses

  352. and bulls, how well they're taken care of.

  353. And he said, dude, I could care less.

  354. He said they're just paying me to hold this sign.

  355. I fear there's a lot of churches I'm going to get to preaching.

  356. I got to be quiet. There's a lot of churches like

  357. that. They're just holding the sign,

  358. Amen. But I'm glad I'm holding on to

  359. Jesus, Amen. He's the same yesterday, today,

  360. and forever. His mercy's never change, Amen.

  361. I'm not just holding the sign, Amen.

  362. The cross, This cross I'll that that I'll bear for Jesus, Amen.

  363. Let's stand and go. The Lord in prayer.

  364. Father, we thank you today for the service, and we thank you

  365. today for this offering we're about to receive, that it would

  366. be used to to help this great family get down the road and to

  367. meet the needs of the church and to meet the needs of the giver.

  368. Amen. And we just thank you for your

  369. love. And you said in your word that

  370. you give it back. And that which money can't buy.

  371. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running

  372. over. You said you would open up the

  373. windows of heaven and pour out things that we cannot contain,

  374. and we thank you for that. We thank you for your love.

  375. We thank you for your mercy. It's in his son's name We do

  376. this. Amen.

  377. Can I get some helpers this morning?

  378. Kids can be dismissed to the back to the nursery and your

  379. classes and appreciate all those y'all give these teachers and

  380. helpers a hand. Amen.

  381. It all right. You know, everywhere we go, no

  382. matter what denomination we're in, no matter what city or state

  383. or anything else, every church has one huge thing in common.

  384. You'd think it would be God, but as pastor said, some of just

  385. holding a sign these days, You know that they all want growth.

  386. They all want visitors to come in.

  387. As long as they don't sit in my seat.

  388. There's never been a good way of telling anybody that that's

  389. tactful. Well, you know, I, I dabble in

  390. songwriting, so I had to come up with something.

  391. So, well, long story, I've been working on a song that might

  392. work for this, but I've only got part of it done.

  393. Is that OK? Is it OK if I do just a little

  394. bit of it that maybe this will this will help?

  395. Well, excuse me, but I thank. You.

  396. Oh y'all already heard that? I did that silliness for one

  397. reason. The guy that wrote that song,

  398. The Chair is named Dean Dillon. Dean is a incredible songwriter.

  399. George Strait himself has written and has recorded 76 of

  400. Dean's songs through the years, and most of those went #1 and

  401. then there's tons of other artists that have recorded

  402. Dean's songs. To my knowledge, Dean only writ

  403. wrote. I could written, wrote, write,

  404. writ. He put pen to paper to one

  405. gospel song that I know of. I've asked Jennifer to sing it

  406. this morning. It's a unique song.

  407. Pay attention to the words to it.

  408. It's about a fictitious a man named Jonas who has two jobs.

  409. He builds Wooden Crosses and he drives nails through flesh.

  410. Listen to the words of this. It's called lunatic, liar, or

  411. Lord. Oh, it took me just to have a

  412. day to make the cross seed bear and the soldiers 15 minutes for

  413. the crown of thorns. He'd wear salmon from Cyrene.

  414. They made him carry the cross as they marched him to the place of

  415. the skull and offered him wine and gold.

  416. But Jesus wouldn't take it. Some great setting free.

  417. Someone turned to me and asked who do.

  418. You believe? Do you take him at his word?

  419. For it's a double edged sword. Is he a lunatic?

  420. Hail, I roar. Well, me, my name is Jonas.

  421. My trade is nails in men, but this one always different from

  422. me. The other one of them with the

  423. first back in his right hand, I looked him in the eye.

  424. The guilty ones cry out for shame, but his they did not lie.

  425. Was too early play for the sunset, yet so dark we could not

  426. see. And I heard his voice cry out.

  427. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

  428. We just cast our lots for his clothes, for none of us were

  429. sure. See a little tick?

  430. Hail, I roar. Who we gathered in our room in

  431. our sorrow and despair. Mary rushed from the tomb, said

  432. Our Lord is not there. It suddenly appeared to us with

  433. spike marks on his feet, reached out his hands of blood and love

  434. and turned to them and me, he said.

  435. Now who? Who do you believe?

  436. Do you take me at my word? It's a double edged sword in my

  437. lunar take, Yes. I take him at his word.

  438. He's my shield and sword. No lunar take.

  439. He's my. Hallelujah.

  440. This is an old song and I know a lot of y'all probably know this,

  441. but I'm gonna try to do it. But we were in a church

  442. yesterday that was full of mold and I am feeling it this

  443. morning. And but this song still holds

  444. true because without that blood that Jesus shed on Calvary, I

  445. would have nothing. And he was willing to pay that

  446. price that a lot of us aren't willing to pay.

  447. And so if you know this song, you can sing along.

  448. But it's an old good one, The blood.

  449. The blood that Jesus shed for me way back on carry.

  450. It's. That blood that gives me

  451. strength from now to day, and it will never lose its purse.

  452. It reaches the highest mountain and it flows to the lowest, the.

  453. The blood that gives me strength from day-to-day, it will.

  454. Never. Lose its.

  455. It soothes my doubts and it calms all my feet in that same

  456. man drives all of my tears. It's that blur that gives me

  457. strength from day to. Day.

  458. It will never lose it's power it.

  459. Reaches to the highest mountain and it flows to the lowest

  460. valley. Roar.

  461. Of the. Lud.

  462. That gives me strength from day to.

  463. Day. It will never lose.

  464. It will never. Lose.

  465. It will. Never lose his.

  466. He lies awake there, all alone most every night, looking back

  467. on all of his mistakes. He's wishing through his tears

  468. that he could just go back 'cause there's a lot of things

  469. he'd like to change. He just can't forgive himself

  470. and forgive even though God already did if he can love

  471. someone. And find the good within, in

  472. spite of what they've done, no matter where they've been.

  473. If he can let it go and set the dead and free, if he can keep

  474. forgiving you and me, why can't we?

  475. There've been times I've been so hurt by someone.

  476. Else I didn't want to give a second chance.

  477. I let all the bitterness take control.

  478. And took grace into my own head. But even Jesus said, whoever's

  479. done, no. Wrong.

  480. Let them throw the first storm. If he can love someone and find

  481. the good within in spite of what they've done, no matter where

  482. they've been. If he can let it go and set the

  483. dead free. If he can keep forgiving you and

  484. me, why can't we? He was hated and rejected,

  485. betrayed by those he trusted, even hanging on a cross.

  486. He said Father, please forgive them if he can love someone and.

  487. Find the good within, in spite of what they've done, no matter

  488. where they've been. If.

  489. He can let it go. And.

  490. Set the dead of three. If he can keep forgetting you

  491. and me, why can't we? Why can't?

  492. We, you know, when they dig up precious metals, gold and

  493. silver, they have to clean it and they have to purify it.

  494. Does anybody know how they purify it?

  495. By heat? By fire?

  496. My desire is that he takes his fire and he burns me till there

  497. ain't nothing but His Holiness left in me.

  498. And that's what this song is about.

  499. When I first heard it, I had to do a double take.

  500. You know, we were talking about newer songs and, and dear friend

  501. of ours, matter of fact, Zach's aunt wrote, Melissa wrote this

  502. when I first heard it. I'm like, wait a minute.

  503. I thought I was getting fire insurance.

  504. I don't want to. That's not the point of this

  505. song. We're not talking about literal

  506. fire. We're talking about heavenly

  507. fire. We're talking about holy fire.

  508. And I want him to burn it and I want him to purify me and

  509. cleanse me till there ain't nothing left but His Holiness.

  510. Y'all y'all listen as she sings. I'm so far from perfect.

  511. I am riddled with flaws. I'm not living for earthly

  512. applause. Come and transform me.

  513. Renew my mind. Making me.

  514. Golden. Purely refined.

  515. So set me on fire, consume me with flames, till all that is

  516. holy is all that remains here in your Old Town.

  517. I'm taking my turn presenting my life. 1 sacrifice.

  518. So let it burn. I'm tired of religion and I

  519. refuse to play games. I'm weary from striving and

  520. seeing no change. I long for revival that sets man

  521. free. A true reformation beginning.

  522. With me. So set.

  523. Me on the consume me with flames to all that is holy is all that

  524. remains in your order. I'm taking my turn presenting my

  525. life once I revise. So let it burn.

  526. Burnout the metal, Burnout the. Drawers.

  527. Every ambition I count it has loss.

  528. Lord, I surrender completely to you.

  529. Make me acceptable. Send me on fire.

  530. Consume. Me with flames, to all that is

  531. holy is all that remains. Here in your.

  532. Order I'm taking my. Let's turn presenting my life 1

  533. sacrifice. So let it burn, let it burn, let

  534. it burn. Well, thank you all so much for

  535. letting us be here this morning. We're going to do one more song

  536. and get out of the way. At least that's the plan.

  537. Here's the deal. I can't go somewhere and tell

  538. you how great my God is. Sit here and sing about how my

  539. Savior, what He's done for me and not give you a chance to

  540. meet Him. I may be sitting in a room full

  541. of save people on their way to heaven, names in the Lamb book

  542. of life and every other cliche and biblical term that you can

  543. come up with, and that's awesome.

  544. But he left the 99 for the one. If there is one in here, then

  545. we're going to do this. A little different for me, yes,

  546. maybe normal for y'all. If there is one in here, please

  547. stop everything you're doing. Stop your mind for 30 seconds

  548. and listen to my voice. This world is coming to a close.

  549. Don't let anybody tell you the date, the time, the hour, the

  550. the year or anything else. They're lying.

  551. Just cut it blunt. They don't know what they're

  552. talking about, but it's going to happen and if you're not ready

  553. on that day, you will burn in hell for eternity.

  554. There is no Gray area. It's heaven or hell.

  555. There are churches out there that have false doctrine that

  556. want you to feel warm and fuzzy. Warm and fuzzy will put you in

  557. hell faster than everything you can do.

  558. If you have any doubt this morning of where you will spend

  559. eternity, let's fix that doubt. I want you to leave here knowing

  560. that you know that you know that you know that you're on your way

  561. to heaven. There's only one way to get

  562. there. Came by, you can't go to church

  563. every Sunday and and Wednesday and every other time that

  564. there's no deed that you can do. You can't clean yourself up good

  565. enough to make your way to heaven.

  566. I have had people say, well, I'm going to look, I've still got a

  567. few things. I'm going to clean them up in my

  568. life before. You can't get clean enough to

  569. deserve to get in the presence of God.

  570. He said come as you are. So this morning I'm asking you

  571. to come as you are. There's another group of people

  572. that sitting in here told you they ain't no Gray area.

  573. It's either A or B. So you're either unsaved and on

  574. your way to hell or you are saved by the grace of God and

  575. you are on your way to heaven. To those of us that are on our

  576. way to heaven, we got up here and we probably got on our knees

  577. and we surrendered all and, and we cried our tears and we piled

  578. up everything that we have in our past about that high.

  579. And then we got up off of our knees and a lot of us put about

  580. 8590% of it back in our pocket and walk through these doors

  581. expecting to go into battle. Y'all, you don't have to carry

  582. around that garbage anymore. You want to experience freedom

  583. for the first time in your life, you come up here and unload it.

  584. God said, come unto me all year weary and heavy laden, I'll give

  585. you rest. You won't rest.

  586. Some of you need the rest, and I'm not talking physical rest,

  587. I'm talking that spiritual battle that's going on.

  588. And here's the other thing that I need from you see, I've always

  589. wondered why we close our eyes and we got to walk up and that's

  590. embarrassing and that's it and that's it.

  591. Did you know that one step that you do just to come up here and

  592. pray, just to come up here and shed the garbage that you're

  593. carrying around? Maybe just enough to encourage

  594. somebody over here that's not safe to get up and walk down

  595. here. Y'all may do it from where you

  596. sit. Don't care.

  597. I I know several people. Do you know this building ain't

  598. always been here. Why did I say that?

  599. Because the ground means absolutely nothing.

  600. The man made structure that this is in that ain't going to get

  601. you to heaven. This is for comfort.

  602. Same people get baptized and after and we just talked about

  603. it this morning pool and and I told church Christ kid one time

  604. we were talking and he said well I can't get saved.

  605. I said why he said because of baptism in our church is broke.

  606. I said, son, you realize that that water supply and that pipe

  607. is the same one that supplies water to that toilet sitting

  608. over there. There is no holiness in that

  609. water, but we can get some in you as we do this last night.

  610. I want you to think long and hard about where you've been.

  611. I want you to think about your past.

  612. I want you to think about the things that you've done that

  613. you're ashamed of. And then I want you to smile

  614. because the Savior, if you're born again, has cleaned those of

  615. you, Satan, now Satan wants you to remember these.

  616. God says, I've got it. I'll cast it as far as the east

  617. is from the West, never to be remembered again.

  618. If you're carrying around that garbage today, do what Jesus

  619. told you he was going to do. Cast it as far as he says from

  620. the West. Now, I ain't the brightest bulb

  621. in the box, but I can tell you that's a long way that I can't

  622. comprehend. And if he's going to y'all

  623. almost said it. There's another line that I use

  624. that I don't want to offend anybody this morning.

  625. So I'll a buddy of mine has to do with Walmart.

  626. Anyway, the bottom line is this, if you ain't saved, you get up

  627. here and let's get it done. And you can walk out of here

  628. with your head held high, knowing that your child of the

  629. one true king. And if you're carrying around

  630. and if you've got issues, you got needs this morning, you need

  631. prayer this morning, you got something you're dealing with.

  632. Well, I don't know if I got things going on.

  633. I tell you what if you don't know if things are going on in

  634. your life and then you, you do right here, you put your fingers

  635. right here. And if you feel that if you got

  636. one of those, you're going through something this morning.

  637. And Satan is a liar and he's out to kill, steal and destroy.

  638. We're going to do this last song.

  639. And it simply says, no matter what you've done, no matter what

  640. your past looks like, no matter what you've been through, you're

  641. never too broken to belong to him.

  642. As we sing this, you come. The door is open.

  643. Come on in as you are, all you need to bring is what remains of

  644. your heart. I see the ears of fear and pain

  645. on your face, but take a step inner in.

  646. You are safe in this place. You.

  647. Are never too broken to blow. Never too dead, never too far

  648. gone. When you find Jesus, you'll find

  649. your home. You're never too broken to move.

  650. Come find the perfect love that no one is no one.

  651. Is a. Piece so sweet it can't be put

  652. into words. And grace that's greater than

  653. the darkest of sin. Take a step in a ring.

  654. Let the healing begin. You're never too broken to move,

  655. never too net, never too far gone.

  656. When you find Jesus, you'll find your home.

  657. You're. Never too.

  658. Broken. To born.

  659. And we? Too are wounded and defeated, so

  660. we know how you feel. And by the wounds of our

  661. Redeemer we believed. We.

  662. Were here you're never too broken to war you're.

  663. Never too broken to war, never too.

  664. Never too far gone. When you find Jesus, you'll find

  665. your. Home, You're never too broken to

  666. blown. You're never too broken to

  667. blown. Never too broken.

  668. Wow, what a song before we close, before we close we me and

  669. my wife felt led to do something and she whispered there and the

  670. Lord was moving and I want you. Can you sing that song about

  671. trust again for us at closing? You know, the Bible says that we

  672. do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the against

  673. the principalities and the rulers of darkness.

  674. And it that Scripture always intrigued me because it said

  675. it's trying to live darkness is trying to live in a heavenly

  676. place. But when Jesus came, he said, I

  677. came to expose the darkness, the sickness, the pain.

  678. And in Matthew chapter 14, there was a boy that got healed.

    Matthew 14 chapter mention

  679. You know, healing was a big part of what Jesus did.

  680. It's why he came. And in Matthew chapter 17 and

    Matthew 17 chapter mention

  681. 14, a boy had came, his father had brought him and he had laid

  682. him at, he laid down at Jesus feet.

  683. And he said, Lord have mercy on my son for he's an epileptic and

  684. he suffers severely for he often throws himself into the fire and

  685. often into the water. So I brought him to your

  686. disciples, the closest ones with you.

  687. I brought him to them. And they've been talking about

  688. all the things you could do. We kind of fall under that

  689. category. We talk about what all Jesus can

  690. do, but when it comes our time to respond, we, we, we want to

  691. turn the lights down a little bit and set in the darkness.

  692. But he said, I brought him to your disciples.

  693. And on this particular day, they could not heal him.

  694. They've been hanging out with the healer.

  695. They had been rubbing shoulders with Jesus.

  696. They had been eating and sleeping with him and, and, and

  697. going around and traveling and ministering.

  698. And yet it says they couldn't cure him, couldn't cast out the

  699. demon. And Jesus answered, how do you

  700. think he answered that? He called him faithless and he

  701. called him perverse, probably told him they didn't have the

  702. faith of a mustard seed. And he said, how long shall I

  703. bear with you? I wonder when God looks at the

  704. church today and we, we raise our hands, we clap, we tell

  705. everybody how God heals and all the things he does and how long

  706. will he bear with us? But it, it goes back right here

  707. to why it didn't happen. And Jesus, he rebuked the demon

  708. and it came out. Can I say that again?

  709. He rebuked the demon, we feed the demon and he said they were

  710. faithless. They said they were perverse and

  711. Jesus rebuked the demon and it came out in the child was cured.

  712. That say it with me that very hour.

  713. Then the disciples came to him privately and he said why could

  714. we not cast it out? Why could we not?

  715. He said this. You can put whatever theology

  716. you want on to it, but it all goes back to faith, the

  717. substance of things hoped for, the evidence of what we cannot

  718. see in Hebrews just described. But he said because of your

  719. unbelief, he said for assuredly I say to you, if you have faith

  720. as a mustard seed, not only did mustard seed take over the

  721. field, but you know when, when I call them planologist, I don't

  722. know the word horticulturalist, they say when you take this

  723. seed, you know they breed seeds. I don't understand how seeds

  724. breed and all that. But they say you can take one of

  725. these mustard seeds and it will not cross with anything else.

  726. It will not produce. So your faith doesn't produce in

  727. your doubt. Faith does not produce in fear.

  728. Y'all are getting quiet on me. And yet Jesus said, we don't see

  729. things in our life because of unbelief.

  730. For surely I say to you, you, if you have faith of a mustard

  731. seed, you will say to this mountain, what's your mountain?

  732. Would you stand to your feet this morning?

  733. I said, what's your mountain? You got a mountain this morning.

  734. Somebody's got a mountain. I want my wife to come down

  735. here. She's she's facing the mountain

  736. of cancer. And the Holy Spirit spoke to my

  737. wife, I want you to come down here with my wife and pray with

  738. her. We feel you're facing something

  739. too, because all of you can look on, but you're facing the

  740. mountain. The question is, have you, have

  741. you spoke to the mountain? What did he say about the

  742. mountain? He didn't say go believe the

  743. greatest doctor. He said to this mountain, move

  744. from here, move from here to there and be cast.

  745. Where? Into the sea.

  746. And he said this. He said in nothing.

  747. Say that with me, nothing will be impossible for you if you

  748. don't doubt it. But you believe.

  749. But yeah, we're so weak Christians, we're scared to

  750. bring it before God. We think that the doctors

  751. already spoken that science already had.

  752. No, he's fixing to rock some world this morning.

  753. I'm not a preacher that sits here and tells you, you come up

  754. here, you'll be healed. But I'm going to tell you, you

  755. can. I don't know if God's going to

  756. heal your situation. I don't know if the demons

  757. you're carrying around are going to come out, but I can tell you

  758. he can. He said we have not because we

  759. ask not. Thanks for listening to the

  760. Cross Power Church podcast. May you know that true hope,

  761. peace, and salvation can only be found in Jesus.
