  1. So much, and listen right now to start advent season.

  2. I want you now listen. I mean everybody knows he's

  3. a fixture around here, Butody, I just wanted to have

  4. just take a moment to give honor to a man

  5. that meant so much to my life.

  6. Who's my pastor.

  7. He officiated my wedding, he was there through so many

  8. ups and downs in my life. He gave me my

  9. first opportunity to preach and did so much for me.

  10. And what I want you to do is I want

  11. you to welcome him like you would a guest here,

  12. because we have an honor and a privilege to hear

  13. from an anointed man of God this morning. Uh, Pastor Gary,

  14. come on up and preach God's word and come on,

  15. let me hear you, let me hear you. Come on,

  16. come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.

  17. I know you got it. I just I just I

  18. just did.

  19. If you fail and I want't over there to catch you,

  20. everybody will look bad at me though, So.

  21. Thank you, my brother. And you know if I fell,

  22. you wouldn't have been the one that felt bad beat

  23. yourself up. It would have been Glenn back there. I

  24. just appreciate Glenn sticking by me and being my armor

  25. bearer for so many years. Just just tell you a

  26. little story about Glenn and Nancy. They were coming to

  27. church here. Of course, his grandmother was a member here

  28. and a precious thing of God and loved her so much.

  29. And Glenn and Nancy were coming. Uh uh. Before Glenn

  30. came with his first wife and the boys, they were little.

  31. I mean I saw Alan grow up, and uh, I

  32. remember the first time y'all came and you sat over

  33. here with your grandmother. And the Holy Spirit spoke to

  34. me that day and he said, they're supposed to be

  35. plugged in here. And I never told him that because

  36. it would have looked like I was trying to manipulate

  37. his life. But I just prayed about it and trust

  38. of the Lord. You know, the Holy Spirit tells us

  39. in Glatians five five that the Holy Spirit helps us

  40. to wait. You ever been to that place where you

  41. can't wait for You'll look it up later read it,

  42. or you can look it up now. I really don't

  43. matter me, but he helps you to wait. And there's

  44. some things we just have to wait on. The next thing.

  45. You know, years went by and I hadn't sent him.

  46. He comes to church with this beautiful lady, Nancy, and

  47. she is a jewel, just a wonderful, wonderful person, and

  48. then had the privilege of marrying them and he's been

  49. plugged in here ever since. So tell a lot of

  50. stories about Glenn and Nancy and Allen and Taylor and

  51. all that, how the Holy Spirit's worked in their lives

  52. and our lives. Actually, that's what I want to preach about.

  53. I'd like to share with you a message entitled the

  54. Holy Spirit and Christmas. And I hope that you are blessed.

  55. But more than anything else, I hope you are filled

  56. with the Holy Spirit of God. Now I want to

  57. say hello to my mother who's watching online. I think

  58. she's watching online. She fell and broke four ribs this

  59. week and she's been recovering. And thank you Carrie for

  60. being over there with her and spending the night with

  61. her and all that you've done to help. And we

  62. need her so much because my brother is in Texas

  63. with his wife's family. So, as our pastor has said,

  64. Pastor Clay said, this is advanced season. I have already

  65. watched fourteen Hallmark movies. My wife said, you ain't sitting

  66. there and watching them with me. Well, let me say

  67. that there's been one on our TV every day, and

  68. I love the joke about it. Some of them are

  69. you know, makes some b rating, and some of them

  70. I'm just teasing that there's some good messages and and

  71. some of those folks, I feel sure really have Christ

  72. in their lives. But not only that, I've I've already

  73. heard all the popular Christmas songs. I mean, they used

  74. to start playing those things after Christmas, but now they

  75. played them before Christmas. And I've always judged whether we're

  76. in the advent or Christmas season by one song. When

  77. you've heard this song twice, we are right in the

  78. flow of Christmas. And it's the song Burro Lives sings

  79. have a Holly, Holly Christmas. And I guess because one

  80. year that's all I heard every time I turn on

  81. the radio. But I've heard all the not only that,

  82. seen the movies, heard the songs. I'm already totally exhausted

  83. from Christmas shopping. My finger has been doing like this

  84. the whole time. It's like that commercial guy goes, oh, oh,

  85. not too much. If you watch football, you know what

  86. that one is. But I don't even decorate for Christmas.

  87. But I'm finished decorating now. My wife is an exceptional decorator.

  88. She loves it. I mean, she is a decorator par

  89. excellence and it really looks nice when she finishes. But

  90. there's a lot of pressure she puts on herself, and

  91. we try to help her do what she loves to do.

  92. Oh you heard the story about the two guys from Alabama.

  93. These two guys were out in the woods. They went

  94. to get a Christmas tree, and so they're traps in

  95. through the woods and they're looking for a Christmas tree

  96. and all of a sudden they see a bear over there,

  97. and they they start running and the guy that was

  98. in the rear catches and passes the guy in front

  99. of him. They get over the hill and they stopping

  100. her out of breath and said, we gotta we gotta

  101. find a Christmas tree. And then all of a sudden

  102. they see they see some wolves, a pack of wolves.

  103. Said we our lives have been in hazard. Here we

  104. got and they start running from the wolves. Finally, when

  105. they realized they were out of the danger of the wolves.

  106. One guy's hastening, he said, he said, listen, I'm cutting

  107. down the next Christmas tree, if it's decorated or not

  108. so uh, I guess he was looking for one already decorated.

  109. The word advance means a rival. It's or an appearing

  110. or coming into its place. And we speak of Christ

  111. and his first advent, or we speak about Jesus and

  112. his second advent, his first coming, his second coming, his

  113. appearing and advanced. Season is the season for four Sundays,

  114. always the nearest Sunday to November thirtieth it begins. So

  115. you have four Sundays, then you have the Christmas Sunday,

  116. which is the or the advent or Christmas Day. Excuse me?

  117. Where you like the candle that we did here for

  118. the christ candle? And we have a Christmas Eve service

  119. here at five o'clock on December to twenty fourth. We

  120. want you to be a part of that and it

  121. won't last about an hour or less, and you can

  122. be there and be here in worship Christ and then

  123. attendure with your family traditions. But every seasons is a

  124. season that has been recognized as a time of celebrate

  125. breeding Christ and his coming. Yes, it's a traditional season

  126. that the church, the Christian Church has celebrated for hundreds

  127. of years now that will rub somebody raw because you're

  128. just a lone ranger out there and you just came up.

  129. I don't think we have to do everything the way

  130. the traditional church did back Martin Luther's day. And well,

  131. you know what, you try to throw out all of

  132. the things that the church has brought us through to

  133. today and you're in a major qua quagmire of disbelief

  134. and and uh struggling to hear from God. I'm sure. So.

  135. Advent is celebrated by liturgical churches, churches like the Catholic Church, uh,

  136. Lutheran churches and many other churches. They have a lot

  137. of pomp and and uh things that they do for

  138. in their services, and and the pageantry is just kind

  139. of immaculated. I mean really it captures you when you

  140. go to those kinds of services, and we don't do

  141. that in our church. Look at that while he's wearing there.

  142. You know, we got to get Steve one of those

  143. pointed hat, you know. But but is also celebrated by

  144. a lot of people like us evangelical churches, people who

  145. recognize Jesus and he came into this world and these

  146. four Sundays lead up to uh now Christmas Day, and

  147. then then Epiphany, which is January sixth, and which is

  148. the twelve Days of Christmas. Oh, by the way, on

  149. the first day of Christmas, my true love sent to me.

  150. Come on up arge, all right now we're gonna sing

  151. all twelve verses. No, the uh the twelve days is Christmas,

  152. starts on Christmas Day and goes to Epiphany. And Epiphany

  153. was that time when the early Church traditionally saw as

  154. when the Magi showed up to Jesus to the main well,

  155. probably a Nazareth city of the Manger. And so yeah,

  156. you've heard people talk say, well, I've just had an epiphany. Well,

  157. the word epiphany actually means a revelation of discovery, and

  158. the Magi discovered after a long, ardulous journey, they discovered

  159. the one who star they had saw in the sky,

  160. and what the Bible says, joy filled their hearts. By

  161. the way, it'd be interesting to read the Christmas story

  162. and Matthew and Luke is the ones who gives us

  163. the full meaning or depth of the Christmas story as

  164. we know it on the earth. John gives us a

  165. Christmas story before Jesus came, his pre incarnate life in

  166. him was life, and the life is a lot of men.

  167. John says, but he said the Word was made flesh,

  168. so he talks about Jesus in that sense. But Matthew

  169. and Luke. Matthew wrote for the Jews to present Christ

  170. as the king, and he uses a lot of Jewish

  171. idioms and things that Jews would understand. Marks for the Greeks.

  172. And Mark doesn't tell about Jesus's birth and all that.

  173. Why because he he sees Jesus as a servant. Nobody

  174. cares about the lineage and the heritage of a servant.

  175. He just serves. But then we get to Luke. Luke

  176. writes to present Jesus as the son of Man is

  177. purely God, one hundred percent God, but also man, one

  178. hundred percent man. How can that be? Did you know

  179. that we've always had people that's just celebrated and want

  180. to try to put God and man together? What do

  181. you think Zeus is Hermes and triting out of the sea,

  182. and and all of these gods the Greeks had, they

  183. were to be superhumans. They represented a savior of some kind.

  184. But God, who who saw that we needed a savior,

  185. sent us Jesus born into the flesh like us. He's

  186. like you and like me, and he has the same

  187. kind of things that we go through. Jesus encountered as things.

  188. So we begin to see that the magi came, and

  189. uh and the bird. The Bible uses a word for

  190. them for breath, and in the Hebrewish rush it means

  191. it's the same word for spirit or wind. I want

  192. you to see the scripture Isaiah fifty nine nineteen. In

  193. the west, the people we will respect the name of

  194. the Lord. In the east day will glorify him, for

  195. he will come like a raging flood tide, driven by

  196. the breath of the Lord. I think the New King

  197. James Standards says, when the enemy comes in like a flood,

  198. the Lord will raise up a standard against him. The

  199. New Living Testament or translation says, like the driven by

  200. the breath of the Lord. Let me ask you something.

  201. Have you ever had the breath of God breathe upon you?

  202. Come on? Now? Gee, have you have you ever been

  203. in a church service or a time of prayer point

  204. in your life where you're pouring your heart out to

  205. God and you're hungry for him and you were just

  206. tight with the Lord. I mean, he's got your attention,

  207. you got his, and all of a sudden, you you

  208. since the breath of God breathing on you. Well, I

  209. got news for you. I felt the breath of God

  210. breathing on me. He wasn't actually a real wind like

  211. they felt on the day of Penesecost and Saul. That

  212. was the breath of God and the Holy Spirit.

  213. We used to sing a song in church, let him

  214. breathe on me, Let him breathe one me.

  215. Let the breath of God now breathe on me. Usually

  216. in an order service. We're singing that. And it's almost

  217. like I remember as a kid, the Holy Spirit moving

  218. in the church and it's just God is just gripping

  219. my heart and I just feel so so comfortable and

  220. since his presence and it's like he's breathing on me.

  221. I know that he's breathed. I'm singing that asking him

  222. to breathe upon me. Well, God wants to breathe on you. Oh,

  223. listen to this. Have you ever read that scripture over

  224. in John as after the Resurrection of Christ John twenty,

  225. In the verse twenty one, G said, unto them again,

  226. peace to you as the Father has sent me, I

  227. also send you. And when he had said this, he

  228. breathed on them. I believe if God breathed on the

  229. disciples and he told him, he said, receive the Holy Ghost,

  230. receive the Holy Spirit, I believe that's what happens. When

  231. God breathes upon us, we receive the Holy Spirit of God.

  232. I believe the Bible teaches that there is a baptism

  233. in the Holy Spirit for the believers, and I believe

  234. that when we're baptizing the Holy Spirit. I believe there's

  235. times that we begin to get empty. We got filled

  236. one time. I believe that that was a baptism. I

  237. believe there's one baptism, one baptism, many refeelings. I remember

  238. there was one saint whould go to the ultra and

  239. they pray every time. This old guy, he just lifted

  240. his hands and he cry out, Lord, feel me, Lord,

  241. feel me. And everybody else is praying, and they're hearing

  242. one thing and then another, and but he just seemed

  243. to aggravate this one woman because that's all she heard

  244. him say, Lord, feel me, Lord, feel me. Week after week,

  245. service after service, and finally one Sunday night, they were

  246. at the Order and the man just, Lord, feel me,

  247. and she jumps up and says, don't do it. Lord,

  248. he leaks. You know, the problem is we all leak.

  249. We all have spirit. God breathes upon us, and we

  250. have times when we're filled with the Holy Spirit. We

  251. can run through a wall and leap a truth. You know,

  252. I got that backwards. Someone said we can run through

  253. a troop and leave a wall when the Holy Spirit

  254. comes by. I remember when Joey Hughes got baptized and

  255. the Holy Ghost. I said, what were you doing out

  256. there that stops on? He said, I was preaching. I said,

  257. you're preaching that the stop sign, wasn't you. Yeah, when

  258. you get the Baptists and the Holy Ghost Rundre, you

  259. just feeled and you just that this is no way

  260. to explain it. It's like the old old pastor said,

  261. it's better felt than tell any time. And I want

  262. to tell you something. I believe you can feel God's spirit.

  263. I believe that you can just literally know that He's

  264. air and his breath is upon you. But I believe

  265. there are times when you get dry, and there are

  266. times when you get cold, and you even make become

  267. a little indifferent. Have a critical attitude. I've been inflicted

  268. with that a time or two in my life. Just

  269. critical of everything. You ever been critical of your wife?

  270. Don't answer? I advise you not to answer. Look straight

  271. in this way. I advise you not to be critical

  272. of your wife, especially in her presence. She forgets nothing.

  273. You ever be critical of your husband? Listen, Sometimes we're

  274. filled with a critical spirit. Sometimes we're filled with such

  275. a mundane worldly spirit that all we want to do

  276. is watch things that are worthing and and or ten

  277. things that are worthy, but there's no spiritual significance in

  278. our lives. Seemed like that we saw our plug put

  279. in the bathtub and filled up for the water, and

  280. that represents the spirit of God, and it feels so good.

  281. But somehow, while you're taking a bath, your told reach

  282. down there and hit the chain and pull the stop

  283. ro out, and you're still bathing. The next thing you know,

  284. there's no water there. You know, sometimes it's that way

  285. when the Holy spirit is it's just kind of drains

  286. out because we pull the plug. We may know where

  287. we did it, or we may not know where we've

  288. done it. Okay, I want to give you quickly here

  289. concerning Christmas. In the Christmas Story, there are six instances

  290. where people were filled with the Holy Spirit. Filled with

  291. the Holy Spirit, let me tell you something. You need

  292. to be filled with the Holy Spirit. If you're a

  293. Christian you've been saved. Listening online now may be the

  294. missing element in your life, not being filled with the

  295. Holy Spirit, trying to do everything yourself without relying upon Him.

  296. When I got filled with the Holy Spirit, listen to

  297. me now, when I got baptized in the Holy Spirit,

  298. it helped my Christian experience and walk with Christ ten

  299. thousand percent. I'm telling you, he governized my faith. He

  300. hung a wagon load of confidence in my soul, and

  301. I was able to fight the devil. I could fight

  302. him until I was no more teeth in my mouth,

  303. and then then coming back till he couldn't stand it.

  304. You don't see, God will give you the power to

  305. DeHorn him and send him back to hell. When you're

  306. filled with the Holy Ghost and God breathes upon you

  307. and you feel the breath of God. Oh, hallylujah, hallelujah,

  308. We'll give the Lord a hand. If you're gonna clap,

  309. you're clapping for him. Thank you, my brother, to preach

  310. the water down hedn'tah, I might step on that the

  311. Holy Spirit of God. Here's what I want for you

  312. this Christmas season. I want you to experience the Holy

  313. Spirit in his fullness and in his power this Christmas season.

  314. And here's what you're going to do this first Advanced

  315. Sundays Sunday by hope. Our hope is in Jesus, and

  316. listen to me. Look for Jesus to do something special

  317. in your life. Many times it may be in an

  318. area where you're not really expecting it. You know, it's

  319. not really sure. Couple of people here right now that

  320. God's going to open up something to you. You're looking

  321. for it. You're looking for it. Keep looking, keep prophesy,

  322. keep believing, keep trusting. Okay. Six instances in Luke Chapter one,

  323. John the Baptist where we know that sure you do.

  324. John de Baptist is filled with the Holy Spirit from

  325. his mother's womb. What happens is that that John de

  326. Baptist is six months older than Jesus. And Mary comes

  327. to the hill country there and Judea where Elizabeth and

  328. Zachariasis living over. They she enters the house and when

  329. she enters the house, Elizabeth sees Mary and recognizes her,

  330. and the Holy Spirit feels John de Baptist in the

  331. womb of his mother, Oh, hellelujah. I believe that God

  332. can speak to you in the womb, or even before

  333. you're in the womb. Number of times that I prayed

  334. for people to be able to have children that were

  335. unable to have children, and God give me a word.

  336. I go to them and tell them how you're going

  337. to have a baby, and they get a baby. Oh

  338. this it's not about me. God could have sent anybody

  339. else to tell them. It says about them believing and

  340. having hope, and God has a plan. You're so intricately

  341. involved in God's plan. We're so closely connected to him.

  342. Listen to this. John the Baptist was filled with the

  343. Holy Spirit and empowered even as a child, and that's

  344. why when it came time he started preaching a difficult message,

  345. repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, telling

  346. a bunch of hard headed, stiff neck, angler nosed Phariseic people, Hey,

  347. you gotta you've got to You've got to repent, and

  348. they thought they were the ones that was righteous. The

  349. second person filled with the Holy Guss was Mary and Luke.

  350. Chapter one of verse thirty five, it says the Angel

  351. answered and said, unto her, the Holy Spirit will come

  352. upon you, and the power of the Highest overshadow you.

  353. Therefore also that Holy One who is born will be

  354. called the Son of God. Let me tell you something.

  355. You need to grip this. You need to get this

  356. in your spirit. The very same power that calls Mary

  357. to be impregnated with the Holy Spirit is the very

  358. same power that transforms your soul when you repair and

  359. cry out to Jesus, Lord, save me. I needs you.

  360. It takes that same power, the same Holy Spirit. And

  361. the Bible tells us if the Holy Spirit, this same

  362. spirit dwell in you that dwell in Christ Jesus, he

  363. shall what He shall raise up your mortal bodies. Listen.

  364. It took all the power of the Holy Spirit. Oh,

  365. I don't know if it took it every bit, but

  366. it was easy for him to feel and overshadow Mary.

  367. And next thing, you know, when I cried out to God,

  368. I'll never forget when I cried out, God saved me. Listen.

  369. It was so quick. It was an instant for me.

  370. It was such an instant, and God saved me. So

  371. I gotta go by the way I know. I want you.

  372. I want you to notice the next one. Elizabeth Luke,

  373. chapter one, forty one through forty five. And it happened

  374. when there was Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that

  375. the babe leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled

  376. with the Holy Ghost, well John inside of her roomb.

  377. But then Elizabeth, and I want you to notice the

  378. next part, it says, and she spoke out with a

  379. loud voice and said, blessed are you among women? And

  380. blessed are the is the fruit of your womb. Here's

  381. what I want you to Here's what I want you

  382. to see. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit. Well,

  383. the Bible says you will speaking tongues or prophesy, you

  384. will speak out. We believe that you know that it's Pentecostals.

  385. We believe that initial physical evidence of receiving the baptism

  386. the Holy ghosts is the speaking in tongues, as the

  387. spirit gives evidence. We believe that. And here we have

  388. Elizabeth filled with the Holy Ghost, and she speaks out.

  389. He said, will there want in tongues? She speaks out.

  390. When God breathes upon you. I believe something's gonna come out.

  391. I believe he's gonna uncourt something, and you're gonna just

  392. let the Holy Spirit flow, for out of your inmost

  393. being shall flow rivers of living water. Oh listen, God

  394. wants you to be filled with the Holy Spirit this

  395. Christmas season. I ain't got enough money to buy all

  396. the kid's gifts. That's okay. Be filled with the spirit.

  397. I don't have a sketchuer all my family can get together.

  398. That's okay. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Oh listen,

  399. she spoke out. The fourth person who was filled with

  400. the Holy Spirit was Zacharias. Look at Luke one sixty seven.

  401. Then his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit.

  402. Listen to this and gave the prophecy. He spoke out, prophesied, listen,

  403. when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, just go ahead

  404. and speak out. Just go ahead and let him flow

  405. out of your inmost be Oh helllujah. Somebody said it

  406. don't sound right, Isaiah said, He said, with stammory lips

  407. in another tongue. Will he speak to this people saying

  408. this is the rest we're with. You shall call the

  409. weary to rest. And this is the refreshing. Oh, ben

  410. filled with the Holy Spirit. You may not do anything

  411. but have some stammory lips, But somehow you're speaking out

  412. and you're speaking to the Lord. He that speaking into

  413. an unknown tongue. Speak of nothing the men, but of

  414. the God. Oh listens, be filled with the Holy Spirit,

  415. and listen to the next one. Simeon Luke, Chapter two,

  416. verse twenty five through thirty five. The Holy Spirit was

  417. upon him. I liked that the Holy Spirit was upon him.

  418. An old man that were bringing Jesus to be circumcised.

  419. He had revealed to see men. He would not die

  420. till he had seen the Lord's Messiah. That day the

  421. spirit led him into the temple. You see, that's one

  422. thing about being filled with the Holy Ghost. He just

  423. leads you. He just leads you. Larry, I believe I

  424. told you this. The other day. I went to Laura's

  425. audre and I went to Laura's reception for being married.

  426. And I still look in her eyes every time I

  427. see her. That's a joke between me and her all

  428. the way. When we left, we left a little bit early,

  429. and driving down the road, I knew I was supposed

  430. to see or visit someone I knew it and uh,

  431. but I didn't know who it was. He ever been

  432. like that same thing with Simon. He knew he was

  433. supposed to go in there, but he didn't know who

  434. it was. So I'm riding down the road and I

  435. point to or I'll try to say, hey, that's where

  436. Wayne Dean lived. And when soon as I said that,

  437. the Holy Spirit said, go to JD's house. It's across

  438. the road. So I turned in, went down Mustang Drive

  439. out of Circle of Faranel, went to JD's house.

  440. J D.

  441. Elliott, his family owns Elliott Trucking And as I so,

  442. I went in there and I saw Pat. She had

  443. just come from the hospital and JD was in the hospital.

  444. I wasn't fully aware of that. So I talked to

  445. her a little bit, prayed with her, and then on

  446. the way out, she said John Boy his his name

  447. on I called him John Boy, but said his wife's Karen.

  448. Her dad just passed away just an hour or two ago.

  449. I said, well, I'll call him. So when I leave,

  450. I get on the phone and on the radio in

  451. the car there when I'm driving off, and call John

  452. Boy and he answers and he says, boy, Gary, you

  453. must have a hot line to marry and murk, because

  454. they had just left at the funeral home. I said, no,

  455. my brother, you wouldn't believe how many times my ministry

  456. spend the Holy Spirit leading me. I thought I sent

  457. by there to encourage pat and maybe even if JD

  458. was at home, and I probably was. But as I

  459. prayed for them going down the road, Karen began to

  460. weep and weep and weep. Her daddy had just passed away,

  461. and there was somebody that come and brought some comfort

  462. through the power of the whole Spirit. Oh listen, he

  463. will lead you. You're filled with the Holy Spirit. And

  464. the last one is Anna. The same same time, and

  465. the prophet is Annah. She begins praising God. Luke six

  466. two thirty six. She began praising God. She talked about

  467. the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for

  468. God to rescue du Jerusalem. These people were filled with

  469. the Holy Spirit, every one of them. Their whole life

  470. was consumed with God and with the Holy Spirit. God

  471. wants you to be filled with His presence. When God

  472. filled me with the Holy Spirit and I was baptized

  473. with the Holy Spirit, I was going to school at

  474. Emmanuel College. My roommates were Bill Jones Tony Moon. Tony

  475. Moon later came back to be a professor at Emmanua

  476. College served as my assistant pastor of church I used

  477. to pastor and they were receiving the Baptist in. My

  478. holy spirit was on fire for God, and I remember

  479. I remember going down to the altar at church. It

  480. was a revival service and praying, please Lord, feel me, please, please, Please,

  481. let me tell you don't have to beg God. And

  482. I've always heard that, didn't really know what it meant,

  483. please God. And I'm saying, please God. All of a sudden,

  484. the word please, I couldn't form it, but it was

  485. so much easier to form the word praise. Praise you Jesus.

  486. When I use the word praise instead of the word please,

  487. all of a sudden and something turned over in my

  488. unmost being. I mean, it felt so good. I gotta

  489. say that word again. And I started saying, pray Jesus.

  490. I said, praise you Jesus, Praise Jesus, Praise Jesus. Praise

  491. Jesus said, And as I began to praise Him and

  492. just began to flow out of my heart so easy,

  493. and I can feel the breath of God breathing upon me.

  494. And the next thing you know, I started speaking in

  495. a language. I spoke why because I was being filled,

  496. just like these individuals in the b were spoke when

  497. they got filled. Oh, Hellelujah. I was so excited. My

  498. mother was living in Florida. My mother and daddy were

  499. living in Florida. Do Rent, Florida. I go to the

  500. only phone on campus. It was a payphone right outside

  501. the library there, and it was in a phone booth.

  502. And I go in that phone booth and I call

  503. my mother collect because I'm not just we just never

  504. had any money. It's a college students called her collect

  505. when she when she answered the phone, I said, Mama,

  506. guess what she said, You've been filled with the Holy Ghost.

  507. I said, how'd you know? She said, I could feel it. Oh,

  508. let me tell you something. Other people know when you're

  509. filling with the spirit of God. Oh. The other day

  510. at the house, Rihanna was there and Robbie and the

  511. kids and been through so many things with the kids

  512. and being sick and stuff. And Grandma was there, and

  513. all of a sudden, Grandma says, I just want to

  514. pray for y'all. Come over, and she started talking in tones.

  515. We knew the Holy Ghost was in that room with us.

  516. I mean, it don't take much for the tones that

  517. come out of her. She's so full of the Holy

  518. goes and she's prayers. That's what she knows to do,

  519. and she sits is God's presence. And I want to

  520. tell you that you can have the spirit of God

  521. breathing in your life. Just ask him asking, you shall receive,

  522. Seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be

  523. opened under you for everyone to ask us to receive it.

  524. Everyone who seeks, fine, and to him who knocks, it

  525. shall be opened. Listen. It's the beginning step when you

  526. were filled, but it's a step further with the Lord

  527. when you're refilled. And some of you just need to

  528. be refilled today. The attitude has got stinking, your thought

  529. life has been loose. You just feel the void of

  530. God's presence when you'll say I need to be refilled.

  531. Not please Jesus, but prist Jesus. Clay, you guys, come on,

  532. and I want you to know that God wants you

  533. to be filled with the spirit of God today and

  534. during this Christmas season. It don't have to happen right

  535. here in this sanctuary all the time. I remember one

  536. time Wendy was preaching and she got up. She couldn't

  537. hardly stand it. She couldn't, I mean, she couldn't hardly

  538. say what she needed to say. She had been by

  539. her bed, on her knees, and she had met God.

  540. I never forgot that, Wendy, Just how I mean, you

  541. could see the whole the Holy Spirit all over you.

  542. Oh Halelujah, oh hall helujah. You see a lot of

  543. times when I see people, I'll tell them I've been

  544. praying for you the words laid you on my heart

  545. this week. I don't know if they just hear that

  546. so much. But you know what, when I say that,

  547. I really mean it. I don't have time to tell

  548. you of many experiences of that concern, of that God

  549. has you on his heart all the time. Would you

  550. stand all across his congregation with me, hallelujah, Halley Louis,

  551. Let him breathe on me, Let him breathe on me.

  552. Let the breath of God now breathe on me. You

  553. may feel like a sinner and unworthy. You may a

  554. lot of things, but listen. Let him breathe on you

  555. today he breathes, hoping to your spirit the first Sunday

  556. of Advent. Let him breathe on you. If you've never

  557. been filled with the Holy Spirit, God speaking to you,

  558. I want you to begin to ask him right now.

  559. I want you to just ask him, just asking, Lord,

  560. fill me with your Holy Spirit. If you need to

  561. be refilled, just asking so Lord, refeel me. Feel me again, Lord,

  562. feel me again. Asks for tells us of the disciples.

  563. He came back having been baptizing the Holy Spirit. In

  564. Acts chapter two. They came up together and they were rebaptized,

  565. and the place shaken where they were praying. Oh, God

  566. can shake this place and your home and the foundations

  567. of iniquity. When you just cry out to Him and

  568. praise him. You know what, I'm gonna ask you to

  569. just lift your hands all across the congregation, and I

  570. might ask you to start praying to the Lord right now.

  571. I'm gonna ask you to start praying right now. Pray

  572. out loud. He can hear all of us at the

  573. same time. He's not nervous, he's certainly knocked deaf praying praying.

  574. The Holy ghosts just praying the Holy Spirit right now.

  575. Just pray right now, Holley, haa hold on my hear.

  576. I'll tell you Handaiah say taya. Oh, I'm not ashamed.

  577. I'm not ashamed. I'm not ashamed. I'm filled with the

  578. Holy Spirit of God. Come on, Church. I know there's

  579. more spirit in this place than what you're leaning on.

  580. I know there is. I know there is. Oh hallelujah.

  581. Hall Hey, Louia, them two people that that I spoke

  582. about earlier, step right out and move to the altar

  583. real quick. You know who you are, you knew know

  584. who you are. You know God's identifying something in your life.

  585. And you're just coming and pouring out your heart before God,

  586. saying God, I need you, I need your presence. Oh hallelujah,

  587. Oh hallelujah. Oh, come on and praise the Lord. Pray,

  588. pray right now, pray right out of your heart, praise Him,

  589. begin to praise Him. Oh, we don't have to have

  590. a song. We don't have to have a song right now.

  591. We want to hear the praises to Jesus. It encourages

  592. me to hear you praise the Lord. Oh he cut

  593. onto totam I taya cut and dayah, oh hallelujah, Oh hallelujah.

  594. Just release the power of the Holy Spirit. He's not

  595. trying to get in. He's trying to come out. He's

  596. trying to speak through you. There you go, hell helujah,

  597. some of you. The Holy Spirit's all over you. What

  598. you need to do is release he cut onto the Botiah. Oh,

  599. hell loujah, Hell Loah, hell helujah. Oh my God, my God,

  600. my God, Oh my God, my God. Oh thank you

  601. Lord Jesus. Oh. Praying the Spirit. Praying the Spirit. Pray

  602. in the Holy Spirit. Right now. We believe you. We

  603. call out to you. We thank you. You give us hope,

  604. you give us joy, you give us strength. Lord. We

  605. can trust you. We can trust you, Lord, we can

  606. trust you. Your helllujah. Oh Hea, tie your hots i,

  607. Oh hallelujah, hallelujah, Oh hallelujah, Oh hallelujah. Oh Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

  608. You know that several times in the in the Christmas

  609. Story says fear not, do not be afraid, do not

  610. be afraid. Oh hallelujah. Here cohoa hotel your solandanahkaran dayah,

  611. Oh hallelujah. Oh oh, yes, that's right right there where

  612. you are. Pray. Just speak out, Oh hellnluljah, Oh my

  613. God PROPHESI, oh, hellelujah, thank your Holy Spirit of God.

  614. Oh oh oh hallelujah, hallelujah. I praise you Jesus, I

  615. praise you Lord. I thank you Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. Oh kay,

  616. I talk about sun night. Oh hallelujah. You know, I

  617. never told Clay what I was preaching on. And I

  618. don't know if you notice. The songs that we sang

  619. were about the Holy Spirit of God. The Spirit of God,

  620. and the Holy Spirit is not finished. He's not finished

  621. with you. Hallelujah, Glory to God, hallelujah. Let me say this.

  622. I'm gonna turn it back over to you, Steve, but

  623. let me say this. I appreciate my pastor. I appreciate

  624. him allow me to preach, but I want to go

  625. on record saying I'm pleased what he's doing here. There's

  626. never been any rift between us. There's never been any division.

  627. We're pretty much on the same page. I mean, we're

  628. always on and I appreciate the way he's leading you,

  629. and I have confidence that he's leading you right, leading

  630. us right high lighting, and I love him and his

  631. wife and his family, his father in law, mother in law,

  632. some of my dearest friends in the world. Bobby's daddy

  633. was one of my dearest friends, Larry. If I don't

  634. see Larry once in a while, I got to call

  635. him and shake him up. Hey, let's go out and

  636. need let's go do something, or let's see each other

  637. at church. So I just appreciate these folks, appreciate every

  638. one of you. With Terry over here. One time I

  639. walked in the funeral home and Terry and his brother

  640. was standing down there by the casket. And as a

  641. walking in that room, the Holy Spirit spoke and right

  642. into my heart, and I walk up to him and

  643. I say, hey, guys, the Lord just told me something now.

  644. And they're looking at me, like, what the Lord tell you?

  645. And I said, the Lord told me that we're going

  646. to be connected in some way. Jeremy wasn't even dating

  647. Carrie at that time. I had no idea anything I

  648. know that didn't that right get to do. And then

  649. the next thing, you know, Jeremy and Carry gets together

  650. said see the Holy Spirit works still working, always working.

  651. Thank you, brother, I love you, I love you.

  652. Father We thank you for your mercy and your grace,

  653. for who you are and all that we can be.

  654. And you.

  655. And I pray that you receive our worship and our

  656. praise today, that it rises a sweet smelling aroma.

  657. Before you or we love you and we thank you,

  658. Passion Clay. Let's worship on the way out. I mean, everybody,

  659. lift your hands.

  660. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart during

  661. this Christmas season. Believe it wants to burst something in

  662. you during this time of the year.

  663. Let's worship together.
