  1. Amen, and Amen, somebody give the Lord a handclapp.

  2. Listen.

  3. I just because I got the microphone and I get

  4. to do whatever I want to do. I want to

  5. just I want to give a little praise report to

  6. you guys. Some of y'all know that I've just taken

  7. my help a little more consciously and intentionally over the

  8. last several months. And I woke up yesterday morning and

  9. got on the scale and I was under three hundred

  10. pounds for the first time in over a decade. And

  11. I want to thank y'all for the encouragement. Listen. You

  12. just don't know how much it means when you know

  13. somebody's on a journey and you encourage them come on now,

  14. it means so much. It meant so much to me.

  15. So thank y'all for that. Some of y'all, I mean,

  16. are on your own. Y'all got up this morning. Some

  17. of y'all brush your hair for the first time in

  18. a year. So thank y'all for that. Amen, And I

  19. just want to encourage that you look nice and you're

  20. smiling today. Love y'all so much. If you got a Bible,

  21. go to Luke chapter fifteen. Luke chapter fifteen and I'm

  22. going to kind of wrap our Sunday like I try

  23. to do. I don't always do a good job. I

  24. may not today either, but we'll try to wrap it

  25. in a message that the Lord has given me. We've

  26. achieved some amazing things over the last year because of

  27. your commitment, your dedication, your faithfulness, and because Jesus is

  28. who he says he is. And Luke, chapter fifteen, let's

  29. start reading in verse eight Luke fifteen, Verse eight, or

  30. what woman having ten silver coins if she loses one coin,

  31. does not light a lamp, sweep the house and search

  32. carefully until she finds it. And when she has found it,

  33. she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, rejoice with me,

  34. for I have found the peace which I lost. Father.

  35. Thank you for your word. It's the only change agent

  36. on the face of the planet. And I pray that

  37. right now, in this moment, not later today, but in

  38. this moment, that you plant the seeds of transformation the

  39. fabric of our soul. Lord, that today we leave here

  40. a little more like you and a little less like us, Lord,

  41. and that we do our part to make a difference

  42. in the world around us. In Jesus' name. Amen. You know,

  43. one of the one of the cool things is as

  44. we continue to progress and we continue to try to

  45. fulfill the vision of God and we add different teams

  46. to accomplish that vision, we are we're so blessed to

  47. have people that are are are great leaders and great

  48. workers on these teams. As a matter of fact, we've

  49. launched a couple we launched a couple of three new

  50. teams last year and we have a total of seventeen

  51. teams that operate on a weekly basis right here at Cornerstone.

  52. In addition to that, we also have our food pantry

  53. team which operates twice well, I guess you guys operate

  54. every week too. We just people just don't see it

  55. because y'all are doing something all the time. Uh. There

  56. is a place for you to serve right here at

  57. Cornerstone Tabernacle. There is a place for you to get involved.

  58. And if we don't have the ministry that you're looking for,

  59. if we don't have the team and the place for

  60. you to serve, then let us know what's in your

  61. heart and we'll either find a way to uh to

  62. create that team or find a place where you can

  63. serve and fulfill that mission and that purpose, because let

  64. me tell you something, We're not the only place in

  65. the Kingdom of God. Amen.

  66. And if something's on the inside of you and you

  67. have a.

  68. Burning desire to serve and to accomplish that, we want

  69. to help resource you so that you can serve and

  70. do that thing that God has put on the inside

  71. of you. So so let us know what you're looking for,

  72. because we believe that that the number one principle of

  73. discipleship is service. We're we're not a church where we

  74. think you have to learn something else before you can

  75. do something.

  76. Come on, now, once you.

  77. Learn that Jesus saved you, you are ready to be

  78. activated in service. So we got seventeen teams. Listen, we

  79. baptized thirty four people last year. Thirty four people baptized

  80. last year. That's that's that's pretty cool. I mean, you know,

  81. we're the Bible says that people were added to the

  82. church daily in the Book of Acts, and that's where

  83. we need to move to. So you know, we need

  84. to be getting three hundred and sixty five people baptized

  85. a year. But hey, we had to start somewhere, right,

  86. So that's so we got a tithe. Off of that, amen,

  87. we're almost ten percent there. So so that's that's something

  88. to celebrate. Thirty four people baptized. Your total giving last year?

  89. Your total giving last year was four hundred and six thousand,

  90. three hundred and forty nine dollars. Y'all not as excited

  91. about that as I am. That's that's impressive. I mean,

  92. look around at your neighbors. Did you think they had

  93. that much money?

  94. I didn't.

  95. But listen, when we do things together, we can accomplish

  96. what God has put in our hearts to do. But

  97. out of that, listen to this number. This number absolutely

  98. blows me away. And this is the heart of Cornerstone

  99. and the people of Cornerstone. From that four hundred and six,

  100. three hundred and forty nine dollars, we gave sixty five thousand,

  101. five hundred and sixty eight dollars to missions. That means

  102. that we sowed it away from ourselves in order to

  103. impact people. Now, let me tell you this is when

  104. we say missions, that doesn't mean that we're writing a

  105. check and sending it overseas, and that's all that means.

  106. As a matter of fact, I think that a lot

  107. of churches do that as an excuse not to do anything.

  108. Come on, somebody, but there is more to kingdom work

  109. than just writing a check. That is money that not

  110. just was sent overseas. Now, now listen, this is gonna

  111. and you'll see where the Lord is pointing us and

  112. carrying us. We sent less money overseas this year than

  113. we ever have. So we sent less money overseas than

  114. we ever have in the history of our church. That

  115. money was spent and invested in our community. That money

  116. was invested in feeding people. Now let me hold on, y'all,

  117. won't really clap and just say it. Let me get there, y'all,

  118. get in ahead on me. Let me talk about our

  119. food pantry. Our food pantry served one thousand and seven

  120. hundred and sixty families. You fed one thousand, seven hundred

  121. and sixty families.

  122. In twenty twenty four.

  123. That's eight thousand, two hundred and twenty six individuals. Now,

  124. I want you to just compartmentalize that for just a moment,

  125. over eight thousand people were able to get the basic

  126. need met because of your generosity and the heart of

  127. generosity at this church. That just blows me away. That

  128. people have the opportunity to have those needs met.

  129. And it's what Jesus did.

  130. Jesus found felt needs and and he met felt needs

  131. before he preached everywhere he went. He healed the sick,

  132. and then he preached. He fed the hungry, and he preached.

  133. He delivered the people that were bound, and then he preached.

  134. He earned a right to speak into people's lives. And

  135. every one of those families that we've sewn into, we're

  136. slowly building the right to be able to speak into

  137. their lives. Come on, somebody and listen. It's your faithfulness.

  138. It's your generosity that did that. Your generosity made that possible.

  139. And what wasn't just it wasn't just the food paintry.

  140. We were also able to help families right here that

  141. call Cornerstone their home. We were able to help people

  142. that just found themselves in in tough spots. Come on now, Uh,

  143. you know one of the great things. And uh, as

  144. a matter of fact, if our board members that are here,

  145. if you guys would stand up, go ahead and stand up,

  146. if you're here for real, This is not all of them,

  147. I guess the rest of them laid out.

  148. Uh.

  149. But but uh, but but our board has taken on

  150. an additional role through our Help's portal. Oh yeah, y'all

  151. can sit down. That is by the right hand cloup

  152. for y'all. Uh but uh uh, but they are involved

  153. in the Help's Portal. So when those needs from the

  154. community or inside our congregation come in and listen, the

  155. way you find the helps portal. Listen, everybody, Connye Kathy

  156. just get nervous when I start giving out web addresses

  157. where we give away money.

  158. But it's siman Jesus.

  159. We do the Jesus thing. Uh. But you can find

  160. that by going to seastone dot church slash help, seastone

  161. dash seastone dot church slash help. And that's how you

  162. access the Help's Portal. And when those come in, these

  163. men of God, they pray about it, they discuss it,

  164. and they're able to help meet those needs within the

  165. framework of our budget. And they did an exceptional job

  166. of being able to help and and and really be

  167. able to pour into lives in our community. So I

  168. want to thank you, gentlemen for your leadership and your

  169. friendship and your service. It is an honor to serve

  170. shoulder to shoulder with you, guys. And then in addition

  171. to that money that's not even recorded here. Our pastor

  172. Gary has also been very instrumental in helping people in

  173. the community through a foundation that he has. Uh. So

  174. I love you, brother, and I thank you, thank you

  175. for the generosity that's in your heart. So if you

  176. need money, go see him right after church. Uh. He

  177. carries a pocket full of five hundred dollars bills all

  178. the time. But anyway, so, uh, those are pretty amazing

  179. things that we have been able to do right here

  180. at Cornerstone over the last few years. And there's other

  181. things we did or just over the last year, there's

  182. other things, but listen, I mean, you know, we had

  183. to fixed stuff, and we had to expand stuff, and

  184. we had to improve stuff and declorate stuff and all

  185. those things, and those things are important.

  186. But lives are what's important.

  187. The lives are what's important. And every single number that

  188. I've given you is a life impacted. And we are Listen,

  189. I am unapologetically about numbers because every number has a name,

  190. and every name has a soul. And that's why we

  191. want to continue to see people come into the Kingdom

  192. of God, because Jesus died for people. Amen. Uh, And

  193. that's what it's about. So those are some things that

  194. we did. And you know, when we when we read

  195. this passage of scripture that we just read, this woman

  196. left and she lost a silver coin. It was a

  197. thing of great value. It was one tenth of everything

  198. she had, and she lost it. And the reality was

  199. is she knew where to look because she lost it

  200. in her house, and she began to do some things

  201. in her house. And I wanted to give you just

  202. a picture of the kind of house. We are a

  203. house of generosity, a house that has compassion on the hurting,

  204. broken people of our community. And that is that is

  205. just rabidly on fire and passionate about seeing people have

  206. a grace collision with Jesus. And that's the kind of

  207. house in and when you start looking for things in

  208. the house, you know where to look because that's what

  209. the house looks like. And this woman, when she lost

  210. her coin, she began to try to find that thing

  211. of value. And in this house there are things of

  212. value that have been misplaced. In this house, there are

  213. still things of value that have not yet been uncovered.

  214. There's pieces of value inside you as an individual, gifts

  215. and talents that are on the inside of you that

  216. have yet to be revealed, and you have to continue

  217. to look and looking ahead to this year. There are

  218. some things that I have looked in the house and

  219. I have begun to see some things that we need

  220. to address. Come on, somebody, And one of those things

  221. is that we are we are absolutely less that God

  222. has sent the families to our church that He has sent.

  223. And when we drill down and we take a close

  224. look at at the families that in ourch that that

  225. are in our church, it's very evident and very easy

  226. to see that God has sent us a very large

  227. percentage of families that have children that have special needs.

  228. And you've heard me share my heart about this before,

  229. and you've heard me say we're going to do something,

  230. We're gonna do something, We're going to do something. Well,

  231. I want you to know that now is the time

  232. that we start doing that. So we're going to be

  233. launching a brand new ministry, a brand new team right

  234. here in our church. It's still just it's still probably

  235. four weeks away from coming online. We still have to

  236. do some training and some recruiting and some of those things.

  237. But we're calling it the Buddy's Team, and it is

  238. a ministry that will be able to help support our

  239. special needs families and our special needs children and adults

  240. with the help they need. Because let me tell you something,

  241. if God sends people here, we are responsible for discipling

  242. every single person that God sends here. And just because

  243. somebody learns at a different pace or a different level,

  244. or in a different way, it doesn't mean they're excluded

  245. from us trying to find a way to be able

  246. to help disciple people. For too long, we've just kind

  247. of ignored things that just didn't happen the way we

  248. wanted to do them. And we're going to start doing

  249. the things the way we need to do them. In

  250. order to address everyone that God has sent to us,

  251. I will every single person, regardless of development, regardless of age,

  252. and regardless of need, that when they pull into this

  253. parking lot, that when they pull into this parking lot

  254. and they see that building, that they at least know

  255. that the people inside that building love me and they

  256. protect me. And it's a place I want to be

  257. because that's how Jesus loved people. And we need your

  258. help with this ministry. We need your help with this team.

  259. Now.

  260. Listen, it is something that you need to be called

  261. to because I don't have time to pastor your hurt feelings. Amen,

  262. So you need to be called to this ministry because

  263. it's a hard ministry.

  264. It's a difficult ministry, but.

  265. I know that God has the people right here in

  266. order to make this a successful ministry. We're going to

  267. be meeting with with with all of the families look

  268. that that that that line up in this category and

  269. sitting down and filling out what we call a passport.

  270. So we're going to get some detailed information from every

  271. family to be able to know certain triggers and something

  272. certain comfort measures and all of those things. And then

  273. we're going to pair an individual with every special needs

  274. child that we have in our church so that they

  275. can have the experience they need and that their families

  276. can have a worship experience that they need when they

  277. get here, because it is it is a hard load

  278. that some of our families carry, and they do it

  279. so exceptionally well, and I am so impressed and so

  280. amazed that often I just find myself weeping because of

  281. the incredible parents that God has sent right here to

  282. Cornerstone Tabernacle. And I want to come alongside you and

  283. we want to help you and be everything we can

  284. for you. Amen. Amen. So brand new team we're launching

  285. is the Buddies Team, and I'm excited about that. So

  286. you're going to be hearing about it every week for

  287. the next few weeks as we bring that online. I'm

  288. just wondering right now. Now, don't raise your hand, don't

  289. raise your hand, but I'm just wondering if there's anybody

  290. in here right now that is interested in serving on

  291. a team like that, If that's you and that's just

  292. kind of awakened your heart, if something just kind of

  293. like jumped on the inside of you, I want you

  294. to come find me after service today and have a

  295. conversation with me about that. Because I believe that that

  296. God is speaking to you, and you know who you are.

  297. God is speaking to you. I don't have to point

  298. out your call, your name, but God's speaking to you.

  299. So I want you to come and have a conversation

  300. with me about that. A second brand new team we're

  301. going to be launching this year's called the Legacy Team.

  302. The Legacy Team is about people who have the spiritual

  303. gift of giving. You know, there are a lot of

  304. things we want to accomplish, Uh, there's a there's a

  305. lot of dreams that God has put in our hearts,

  306. and there is what we call the vision gap. In

  307. other words, we have this much come on, somebody, we

  308. have this much money and we want to do this,

  309. and between there and there, there's a gap. A man,

  310. that's why. I mean, you know, I really thought somebody

  311. was gonna win that lottery and pay tithe, but that

  312. didn't happen, So we got to do it the real way. UH,

  313. and just believe God to continue to UH to raise

  314. the lid on people's leadership, ability, skills, and favor in

  315. their workplace so that they can continue to grow and

  316. be more successful as kingdom citizens. But the Legacy Team

  317. is going to be a place where if you have

  318. the gift, the spiritual gift of giving, it's going to

  319. be a place where you can identify that gift and

  320. use that gift by getting some additional information and understanding

  321. where we're headed and what we're doing in a more

  322. detailed way. Because many of you, I can sit here

  323. and talk about the details of some projects and it

  324. bores you out of your mind. But people that have

  325. the spiritual gift of giving want to see the future

  326. they want to see where we're headed because they're interested

  327. in using that spiritual gift to leave a legacy.

  328. See here's the reality.

  329. Some of us, our legacy is through music, like Mary

  330. Lana has a gift of music, and her legacy is

  331. the impact she makes when she sings. Come on, somebody,

  332. you know. Some people their legacy is administration, like Pastor

  333. Clay and he just make He's just so good at

  334. organizing things and he's setting up that legacy. We all

  335. have different areas that we serve, but one area that

  336. the church fails most people is in the area of

  337. giving because we give everybody the exact same opportunity. We

  338. give everybody the exact same opportunity that we're going to

  339. pass an orange bucket and throw some money in there,

  340. and that is how you express that gift. But we

  341. don't do that with any other gift in the church.

  342. We create special paths and special teams for those gifts

  343. to be expressed. And now we're going to do that

  344. in the area of giving as well. So the Legacy

  345. Team is something that's going to be coming on and

  346. we're going to have our very first Legacy Team gathering

  347. in the middle of February. So if you test it, listen,

  348. if you've been through Engage and you tested with the

  349. spiritual gift of giving, you're going to get some information

  350. from me. If I have seen the spiritual gift of

  351. giving in your life, You're going to get some contact

  352. from me if you want to. If you think you're

  353. a giver, if you think that's the team you belong on,

  354. you need to come have a conversation with me, because

  355. it's possible that I've just missed that gift in your life.

  356. So have that conversation with me. Those are a couple

  357. of new teams that we're going to start in twenty

  358. twenty five. And I'm excited about both of those teams

  359. because it gives us an opportunity to do things better. Amen. Amen,

  360. Now I know, y'all, I know that's the sleepy part.

  361. Nobody likes lists and all those things. So let me

  362. get back to this passage of scripture. It says this

  363. woman having ten silver coins, she lost one, and she

  364. little lamp, and she swept the house, and she searched

  365. carefully until she found it. And when she found it,

  366. she called her friends and neighbors together, saying, rejoice with

  367. me for I have found the peace which I lost.

  368. You know, she in the process of working and trying

  369. to find that thing of value, that thing that is

  370. on the inside of you that you don't know where

  371. it is. Either, she didn't have to worry about the

  372. things that people have to worry about when they lose

  373. something in the world. There was nobody else that was

  374. going to get there first, come on somebody, and she

  375. didn't have to worry about someone coming to harmor because

  376. she was in the safety of her home as she

  377. looked for that thing of value. And that's one thing

  378. that we want to do a better job off here

  379. is creating that thing of safety. Now listen, I know

  380. that everybody comes for Vision Sunday to hear about what

  381. we're doing next and what we're gonna do better and

  382. the new things we're gonna do. But the reality is

  383. we only do four things here. That's all we do.

  384. That's all we ever do is four things. We experience God,

  385. we walk in freedom, we find our play so that

  386. we can live with purpose. That's it. So on Vision Sunday,

  387. you're always gonna hear about those things. So buckle up.

  388. I'm going to tell you about some old things. How

  389. many football fans we got in the room. I'm a

  390. huge football fan, and you know I'm a huge Florida

  391. State fan. So it has not been a good twenty

  392. twenty four for me. It was bad. And I watched

  393. that team play a team that did not lose one

  394. regular season game last year, and then we roll into

  395. twenty twenty four and it was like they had never

  396. seen a football game before. But I realized that these

  397. guys didn't forget the game of football in a year,

  398. but what they did forget was the fundamental.

  399. Pieces of football.

  400. I'm pretty sure that if I had played against Florida State,

  401. they couldn't have even tackled me. And I'm an old man.

  402. As a matter of fact, I fell off the sidewalk

  403. this week and hurt my elbow. But we forget sometimes

  404. it's all about what's next, and we forget those fundamental

  405. things that we do. But this woman was able to

  406. search and look for that valuable coin because she was

  407. in the safety of her home. And that's groups.

  408. Listen.

  409. Groups offer the safety for you to dig and to

  410. find that piece of value that you have.

  411. Yet to discover, that thing that you know is there.

  412. We all know there's something more on the inside, that

  413. there's got to be more, that there's something that we

  414. keep striving for and looking for, and that it's out

  415. there somewhere, and groups help you discover that.

  416. Groups help give you the safety so that you can begin.

  417. To explore and try new things, with the accountability to

  418. pull you back when you get too far out, and

  419. the encouragement to go a little further when you have

  420. it go far enough. See, groups are able to give

  421. you that safety so that you can begin to look

  422. for that thing of value. Because I want you to

  423. express and to find the complete value that's in your lives.

  424. And some of you haven't found it yet. As a

  425. matter of fact, some people you've come from such a brutal, hurtful,

  426. traumatic past that people have overlooked the value in you

  427. because of the things that you have done or the

  428. victim that you have made people think you are. But

  429. there is value in you. And God hasn't given up

  430. on you. He hasn't forgotten about you. There's still more

  431. for you to do. Have a purpose and a desk.

  432. God have made me yell this morning. See, it's about

  433. finding that silver that we hadn't found yet, that buried piece,

  434. that thing that's there that we just have to look for.

  435. She was in her house and it says that she

  436. started sweeping. You know, I know that I could probably

  437. find things better if I got.

  438. A broom at my house when I lost something.

  439. Amen, But that's not the first thing that comes to

  440. my mind when I'm looking for something. I never think

  441. that I dropped it on the floor, to be honest

  442. with you, I never think about it being in a

  443. place where, you know, maybe there's some dust bunnies that

  444. have gathered. We got this annoying little dog on, this

  445. little Pomeranian that is like, it's not possible with the

  446. amount of hair she loses, it should not be possible

  447. for her to still have hair. She should be bald.

  448. But there's like balls of hair her size.

  449. That are just all over my house.

  450. And you get the broom and you start sweeping, and

  451. they just fly away and scatter into smaller.

  452. Pieces that are in.

  453. And you just have to sweep and sweep and sweep

  454. and sweep, because in order to find those things that

  455. you lost, you got to move the debris that's gathered

  456. out of the way. And this woman, when she started

  457. looking for her thing of value. The first thing she

  458. did was she started cleaning up the areas that she

  459. has neglected and overlooked, those spiritual disciplines in our lives,

  460. those fundamentals of the faith that many of us are

  461. so busy that those systematic habit things are the first

  462. things to go. Amen. Don't raise your hand. How many

  463. of you you.

  464. Set your New Year's resolution?

  465. Listen, if you were resolute about it, it wouldn't you wouldn't.

  466. Have to do it at the New year.

  467. Amen. So it's not really a resolution, but you decided, Hey,

  468. this year, I'm gonna get up every morning and pray.

  469. This year, I'm gonna read the Bible every day. It's

  470. January the fifth, and I bet, for if I had

  471. a show of hands, you've already you already messed it up.

  472. And here's what we think. Oh, I was gonna read

  473. one chapter a day. Now it's the fifth I'm five

  474. chapters behind. So I'm just gonna catch it up. And

  475. that's great if you do catch it up. But the

  476. reality of a spiritual discipline is that you're disciplined enough

  477. to make it happen every single day or every single

  478. week or whatever. That spiritual discipline is and two of

  479. those spiritual disciplines that I think that we miss the most.

  480. Number one is prayer, because prayer is one of the

  481. most important things we do because it is our communication

  482. method with God. And some of us think we're in

  483. a passionate, loving relationship with Jesus, but we never talk

  484. to him. You have to learn to talk to Jesus.

  485. You have to learn to pray and not just throw

  486. a want list out to him, but have a conversation

  487. with him and spend time listening. So in order to

  488. help facilitate those things, starting in January, and we're gonna

  489. we're gonna launch the very first Sunday in January twenty

  490. one Days of Prayer. We're gonna have a twenty one

  491. day prayer focus that will be guided prayer. We're gonna

  492. have prayer time to we gather and meet and pray

  493. right here in the building. It is going to be

  494. do what I said, Yeah, I mean February. Thank you

  495. for that. Yeah, he usually annoys me, but he actually

  496. was helpful that time. But February, in February, we're gonna

  497. do the twenty one days of Prayer. Now listen, if

  498. you want to accompany the twenty one days of prayer

  499. with twenty one days of fasting.

  500. You can do that as well. That's up to you.

  501. I'm not asking you to do that. But if you

  502. want to take your twenty one days of prayer to

  503. the next level by adding fasting, you absolutely can do that.

  504. But listen, here are the rules.

  505. If you are adding twenty one days of fasting to

  506. your twenty one days of prayer, you cannot correct anybody

  507. over what they choose to fast or what they eat.

  508. Come on, somebody, listen.

  509. Every time I've ever been around a church fast people

  510. do more arguing about what they can and can't eat

  511. than they do praying. Listen, that's not what it's about.

  512. It's not about it's not about the details and the

  513. technicalities of it. It's about getting in alignment with the

  514. Lord and beating back some of those primal desires that

  515. we have that get in front of him in our lives.

  516. So if you're gonna pray, if you want to do

  517. the Daniel fast, just define what that is. If somebody

  518. comes up to you and says, oh, I'm fast in

  519. Facebook for twenty one days, don't say you can't fast Facebook.

  520. You got fast food.

  521. If they want fast Facebook, let them fast Facebook. If

  522. they want to fast talking to you, let them fast

  523. talking to you. If everybody's fast and getting their feelings hurt,

  524. over that twenty one days, amen. And during that twenty

  525. one days of prayer, we're gonna teach on praying, We're

  526. going to pray, we're gonna do some gra And here's

  527. the really cool thing is that right in in the

  528. middle of the twenty one days of Prayer is our

  529. next town hall meeting. That's where we take those live

  530. questions from the stage and we answer those things live.

  531. So Pastor Gary's going to be up here on the

  532. stage with me during that next town hall because listen,

  533. if you need to if you want to find if

  534. you want to know how to pray, talk to him.

  535. That man knows how to talk to Jesus better than

  536. anybody I know. He makes my prayer life look like

  537. I'm an amateur. Well I probably am, but he makes

  538. me look that way too, Amen. But so that's going

  539. to be right in the middle. So start forming your

  540. questions about prayer right now you can. I'm not even

  541. going to attempt to give that web address. Next week

  542. we'll have the web address up where you can submit

  543. your questions. If you want to submit them ahead of time.

  544. Pastor Clau will probably come out here and just whip

  545. it off his head and tell you what that web

  546. address is. I don't know it. So we're going to

  547. go into twenty one days of Prayer in February, and

  548. then we're going to follow that up by the ninety

  549. day Tithe Challenge. Now, the ninety Day Tithe Challenge is

  550. for those of you who have always struggled with giving.

  551. It is an opportunity for you to do exactly what

  552. the Bible says and test God in the area of giving.

  553. When you search through scripture, the only area of our

  554. lives that God says, test me in this is in

  555. the area of giving. He says, test me in this,

  556. and see if I want to open the windows of

  557. heaven and pour out a blessing for you that you

  558. won't have room enough to contain. When we enter into

  559. the spiritual discipline of tithing, it opens our lives up

  560. to receive blessing and to receive god God's out pouring

  561. into our lives in a way that we have never

  562. experienced before. It's not about the money, It's about the heart.

  563. The reason God says test me in this, it's because

  564. he knows, because he created us that where our treasure

  565. is there, our heart is also. So he says, test

  566. me in this, and see if your heart is not

  567. connected to me in a whole deeper another way than

  568. it has ever been through that. And listen, here's the

  569. cool thing, ninety day time challenge. If you get to

  570. the end of that ninety days, we're going to start it.

  571. It'll start in March. If you get to the end

  572. of ninety days and you have faithfully tithed and God

  573. has not blessed you, God has not done anything in

  574. your life, We'll give you your money back. I believe

  575. God is who he says he is. I believe if

  576. he says test me in this and I'll do this,

  577. that he'll do it. And if you get to the

  578. end of the ninety days, just call it, just call

  579. it a savings account. Amen. If you get to the

  580. end of the ninety days and God hasn't blessed you,

  581. God hasn't done anything for you, we will write you

  582. a check and give you your tithe back. Because I

  583. know you can't get to the end of ninety days

  584. without using by using these spiritual disciplines and get to

  585. the end of that ninety days and God hasn't changed

  586. you in some way. It's impossible. Everybody, look at me.

  587. Stop doing whatever you do. Look at me. It's impossible.

  588. It's impossible for you to do what God has asked

  589. you to do when he makes a promise about it

  590. and he doesn't fulfill his promise because God cannot lie.

  591. He cannot lie. So that's why we're doing this for

  592. you to be able to awaken that spiritual gift of

  593. giving and that spiritual discipline of giving in your lives.

  594. And here's the thing. If you don't do it, I

  595. ain't kicking you out of the church. Listen, somebody said,

  596. somebody I heard somebody say the other day. Oh yeah,

  597. I usually have a friend that goes at show. He said,

  598. you talk about money a lot. Me Listen, I tell

  599. you I do talk about money a lot. I talk

  600. about the fact that if you give, God will bless you.

  601. We talk about the needs that are present. But I

  602. don't care if you give or not. I personally don't

  603. care if you're a liar or not. I personally don't

  604. care if you are a thief or a cheat. I

  605. love you anyway. I teach those things, and I care

  606. about those things because Jesus cares about those things. And

  607. if you want to line up in obedience, it changes

  608. your life. If you don't, it's okay. I'm going to

  609. love you anyway. It's not going to change my relationship

  610. with you. I'm not gonna be hurt at you. I'm

  611. just going to continue to share the truth with you. Amen,

  612. that's it. I didn't write any of it. I'm just

  613. the paper boy.

  614. I just deliver it. You're upset with the news, don't

  615. get mad at the paper boy.

  616. He just brought it. He didn't write it. I love you,

  617. and we want to challenge you in the area of

  618. these spiritual disciplines because God has something better for you.

  619. And then she ends Pastor Clay, You guys, come and

  620. get ready. She says, hey, when I find it. When

  621. she looked, she swept. She was in the safety of

  622. her home, she little lamp. She got some revelations. She

  623. knew where it was bad, and when she found it,

  624. she did something amazing. She called all of her friends.

  625. You know, when I find valuable stuff, I usually don't

  626. call y'all because I don't I want to have to

  627. take you to lunch. Amen. But she found it, and

  628. she called them all together and she said, rejoice with

  629. me because I found something that I didn't have. I

  630. found something that I had misplaced. And I want to

  631. tell you, in twenty twenty five, we're gonna help you

  632. find some things you didn't know you.

  633. Had and some things that were misplaced.

  634. You're going to begin to live this life and fall

  635. more passionately in love with Jesus than you ever have.

  636. And you're gonna suddenly wake up one day and you're

  637. gonna say, hey, y'all, come rejoice with me because I

  638. found my peace. They're gonna say, hey, hey, come rejoice

  639. with me because I found my god image.

  640. I don't think I'm disgusting.

  641. I don't think i'm a loser anymore, because God has

  642. showed me who I am. Hey, come and rejoice with me.

  643. Because I've discovered my destiny, that thing that God created

  644. me for, that my purpose.

  645. And I'm gonna live out my purpose.

  646. And now that I found my purpose, I'm alive more

  647. than I've ever been alive before. Come and rejoice with

  648. me because I have found something I didn't know I had.

  649. Come and find and come and rejoice with me, because

  650. you can find it too, and I found it in

  651. this house. And over the next year, we're going to

  652. operate under this theme. We're gonna help you build a

  653. great house in the world where you live, and we're

  654. gonna build a great house where we come to worship.

  655. And in twenty twenty.

  656. Five at Cornerstone Tabernacle, our theme and our mission is

  657. the great House, a great house of honor, where we

  658. learn to honor one another, honor God, and honor the

  659. destiny that's on the inside of us. In Second Timothy

  660. chapter two, verse it says, but in a great house,

  661. I believe this is a great house, and it's gonna

  662. be better. I believe your home where you live, I

  663. believe it's a great house, but it's gonna be better.

  664. I believe you you're good parents, but you're gonna become

  665. great parents. I believe you're good neighbors, but you're gonna

  666. become great neighbors. I believe that the next level from

  667. good is great. And as we learn to come together

  668. and celebrate and worship in this great house, it'll spill

  669. over and it'll help your house become the great house

  670. that you desire for it to be, that your marriage

  671. will be better that y'all y'all not ready for me today.

  672. Second Timothy, Chapter two, verse twenty. It says, but in

  673. a great house there are not only vessels of gold

  674. and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for

  675. honor and some for dishonor. You know, there's some very

  676. honorable people in this house right now, and there's some

  677. dishonorable people in this house right now. Just the fact

  678. of the.

  679. Matter, we're not all where we need to be.

  680. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from the ladder, if anyone

  681. gets the broom and starts sweeping, come on, somebody. If

  682. somebody lights the lamp so they can see in the

  683. dark corner, if somebody will will begin to look for

  684. that thing of value, they'll cleansing them. If they'll cleanse

  685. themselves from the ladder, he will be a vessel of honor.

  686. It doesn't matter what you've done, where you've been, who

  687. you've hurt, who you've been hurt by, who you've lied to,

  688. who you've cheated, who you fill in the blank. If

  689. you clean those things up through some spiritual discipline in

  690. your life, get involved in a group, serve on a tea.

  691. If you'll get those things in order, you can become

  692. a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for the Master,

  693. prepared for every.

  694. Say, every for every good work. How many of you here.

  695. Looks back over the past. If I'm just talking spiritually,

  696. I'm not mean if we at all? If we had

  697. all invested in Google when it went public, Amen, where

  698. would we be.

  699. If we'd done that with Microsoft or IBM?

  700. We all have that point that we look at and said,

  701. only if, only if I had in that moment, only

  702. if I would have done this, or only if I

  703. would have done that.

  704. This is an only if moment.

  705. Because God is going to prepare you for every good

  706. work that you won't miss an opportunity to sow into

  707. someone's life, that you won't miss, an opportunity to have

  708. a conversation. Listen. God gave one to a dream a

  709. week or so ago, and she shared that dream with me.

  710. She wrote that dream about how she took the dream

  711. was that it was after church, not my preaching. Was

  712. after church people were gone, and somebody came up and said, Hey,

  713. I need to be saved. And one that was trying

  714. to have a conversation with her, and it was disruption

  715. after disruption, annoyance, interference, distraction, trying to rob her of

  716. that moment where she was able to help someone have

  717. a grace collision with Jesus. And when I read that,

  718. I thought, oh my goodness, one I didn't even know

  719. what I was preaching today, but she gave me the

  720. perfect illustration. God is setting you up for every good work,

  721. that as you live in your great house, that God

  722. will make it a house for both honorable and dishonorable vessels,

  723. because the dishonorable can be transformed when you talk about

  724. the cleansing power of Jesus and growing your influence in

  725. people's lives. I've never been more excited for you in

  726. my whole life. I shared this morning that I have

  727. often said the best is she had to come.

  728. I am I saying all the time.

  729. A lot of times I'm thinking that because man, I

  730. just got to say something in a faith motion. Amen,

  731. Because there are times when I look and I'm like, man,

  732. am I even the God to lead this church?

  733. Anymore?

  734. Am I the God to preach the next message? Am I? Even?

  735. Am I even a good dad?

  736. Am I?

  737. A good husband.

  738. Am I a and I think those things, and I've

  739. made those statements by faith. The best is yet to come.

  740. But I want to tell you, as I stand here

  741. on this stage right now, that I'm not speaking it

  742. by faith. I'm speaking it with assurance, knowing that God

  743. is working and moving, that the best is yet to come,

  744. that the best for you and the best for Cornerstone

  745. is yet to come. And this is his year, this

  746. is the year of the Lord, if you'll give it

  747. to him. Everybody's staying with me all over the building.

  748. And if you're here Alter team, you don't have to come.

  749. I mean, if you want to respond to the Altra call,

  750. you can come. You don't have to come and get ready.

  751. But if you're here this morning, you say, Pastor, I'm ready.

  752. I'm gonna light the lamp, I'm gonna grab the broom,

  753. I'm gonna start sweeping some areas in my life. I

  754. want to see things that I've never seen before so

  755. that I can have things I've never had before.

  756. I want to embrace what's next.

  757. And I want to live. I want to live in

  758. the atmosphere of the Great House, seeing God build things

  759. around me that I never thought possible, getting over those

  760. things that have handicapped you and held you down, moving

  761. past all of those anxieties, those moments of depression, and

  762. stepping into the fullness of God. If that's you, I'm

  763. gonna count to three. And when I count to three,

  764. if you would say, hey, I'm ready for next. I'm

  765. ready for the next. I'm ready to leave things behind,

  766. clean my life up, grab those spiritual disciplines. I'm ready

  767. to look ahead to the future and be everything God

  768. wants me to be. When I get to three, I

  769. want you to move. Don't look to see if anybody.

  770. Else is moving.

  771. Don't walk into your destiny. Run into your destiny. Don't

  772. look to see if anybody else wants destiny. It doesn't matter.

  773. I ain't come to preach to everybody today. I just

  774. came to preach to somebody. So on the count of three,

  775. if that's you, I want you to make your way

  776. to the front. I want to pray for you. On

  777. the count of three, step out and move one, two, three, Step.

  778. Out and move right now.

  779. If that's you, when you get here, lift your hands

  780. and begin to worship. Lift your hands and begin to worship.

  781. Don't stand right up against the steps so that I

  782. have time to room to walk through there.

  783. Especially y'all, are you all ready?

  784. Let's do it.
