  1. We're going to continue our series the Great House, and

  2. I want to talk to you today about the Great House.

  3. It's go to John chapter twelve, John chapter twelve, starting

  4. in verse twelve.

  5. If you're there, say Amen.

  6. If you're not, oh my, the old MIAs follow along

  7. the old Me's underline. John chapter twelve, verse twelve. The

  8. next day of great multitude that had come to the

  9. feast when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem

  10. took branches of palm trees and went out to meet

  11. him and cried out, Hosannah, blessed is he who comes

  12. in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel.

  13. Let's pray, Father, we thank you for your word. It's

  14. the only change agent on the face of the planet.

  15. And I pray that Father, you change us at the

  16. very fabric of our being.

  17. Shape us more into your image today, a little less

  18. of us and a little more of you, that we

  19. would understand our assignment and the glorious.

  20. Future we have in Jesus' name. Amen.

  21. You know a lot of times when we talk about

  22. Palm Sunday and we read that entry Jesus is you know.

  23. One important thing is that Jesus chose to ride in

  24. on a donkey and not a war horse. Come on, somebody.

  25. He wasn't prepared for battle. He was prepared to serve

  26. because he was a servant leader. Israel was looking for

  27. one salvation, but Jesus was all about another salvation. They

  28. were looking for a military overthrow of their occupying force,

  29. but Jesus was looking for an overthrow of the spiritual

  30. forces of evil that had controlled the hearts of men, women,

  31. boys and girls. And he came in, and he was

  32. positioning himself, and as he rode in, they began to

  33. cry out. And we use it as a gray, as

  34. a great exhortation, as a great moment of praise. And

  35. they said, Hosannah, Hosannah, Hosannah. But literally, in its most

  36. pure form, Hosannah means God save me, God save me.

  37. They're crying, God save me, Save me, Save me. And

  38. they were looking for a salvation that Jesus was up bringing.

  39. They were looking for him.

  40. To restore the nation of Israel, but he was looking

  41. to restore the Kingdom of God in the hearts and

  42. lives of people. And everything that Jesus did was about

  43. saving humanity, about bridging the gap between Holy God and

  44. fallen man.

  45. His whole life was an example.

  46. Of living pointed towards the kingdom and pointed towards the Father.

  47. And ultimately, when we talk about the things that Jesus did,

  48. he did so many things for us during our life

  49. here on earth. But I think that a lot of

  50. times we get so consumed with with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

  51. Come on, somebody, that we forget there's another aspect to

  52. kingdom living. And if that is the moment we're saved,

  53. the moment we're born again, we become eternal beings. Y'all

  54. got kind of quiet, looked at me weird when I

  55. said that the moment you get saved, you become an

  56. eternal being. It's not after you die. It's the moment

  57. you get saved. The soulish part of you that that

  58. that spirit man inside you never has to worry about

  59. death again. You're eternal. From that moment on, you're pointed

  60. towards the everlasting. And there is the great house. We

  61. talk We've talked about building our great house, we've talked

  62. about building this great house. But there is a great

  63. house that is built for us that's not made with

  64. human hands. There's a great house that's made for us.

  65. That uh that that we must live towards an embrace

  66. because all of the current sufferings, all.

  67. Of the.

  68. Impositions, all of the afflictions that we encounter now are

  69. nothing compared to the great glory that lies ahead.

  70. Now, let me go ahead and tell.

  71. Y'all today's message is different than the way I normally preach. Okay,

  72. I'm gonna teach more today, but I feel like the

  73. Lord has given me something for you. So I want

  74. you to still get excited. If you want to get excited, come.

  75. On, write it down. If you want to write it down. Amen.

  76. Amen, But just know that that today is not that

  77. that normal, one hundred percent application kind of message that

  78. that I normally preach. So this is a little more teaching.

  79. So let's let's get started. John chapter fourteen, Verse one.

  80. John Chapter fourteen, Verse one. Let not your heart be troubled.

  81. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my

  82. Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so,

  83. I would have told you I go to prepare a

  84. place for you. And if I go and prepare a

  85. place for you, I will come again and receive you

  86. to myself. That where I am there, you may be also,

  87. And where I go, you know, and the way you know,

  88. Jesus says, I'm going away, and I'm stepping out of

  89. the natural, into the supernatural, into eternity, and I'm preparing

  90. a place for humanity. And you may not understand it yet,

  91. but you know where I'm going. You know the way

  92. to get there. And I'm going and I'm going to

  93. prepare the great house. I'm going to prepare the place

  94. of your eternal dwelling. I'm going to prepare a place

  95. that I has not seen, ear is not heard, the

  96. majesty and the glory of that city and that house.

  97. That is to come.

  98. This house is so big and so great, and so

  99. immense that it contains many mansions on the inside that

  100. it's not fathomable to the human mind the glory that

  101. awaits for those who love Him that are called according

  102. to His purpose. That that is the place that Jesus

  103. is going to prepare. Not a great house, not a

  104. great not a great place for us to come and

  105. assemble together as believers here on earth, not even that

  106. epicenter of spirituality that we talk about our homes, where

  107. the spiritual foundations for our children and our grandchildren, and

  108. all of those things are laid and the Church comes

  109. along to support the home. Come on, somebody, let me

  110. just chase that for just one second.

  111. Listen. I want you to understand.

  112. That it is important for you to live spirituality in

  113. your home and allow the Church to be a resource

  114. for that. When you come here and you hear me preach,

  115. go home and chase that through the Bible. Don't just

  116. take my word for it, because if you take my

  117. word for it. Now, listen, I want you to understand

  118. that I'm very theologically conservative. I mean, I'm just if

  119. the Bible doesn't say it, I don't preach it. Come on, somebody,

  120. I'm just kind of straight down the line.

  121. But you may move somewhere else.

  122. And if you're taking my word from it for it,

  123. you may take his word for it, and he may

  124. not be never mind. Never mind, So go home and

  125. make your home the place of the center of spirituality

  126. for your family. In Second Corinthians, chapter five, verse six,

  127. it says, so we are always confident, knowing that while

  128. we are at home in the body, we are absent

  129. from the Lord, for we.

  130. Walk by faith and not by sight. Now I want

  131. you to take everything we've heard.

  132. Now listen, you live your life this way, and people

  133. are gonna say that's not true. There's no heaven, there's

  134. no this, there's no that. And remember, we carry ourselves

  135. with dignity. We carry ourselves wrapped.

  136. In love, don't. We don't quarrel because that just brings strife.

  137. We live by faith, and when listen, when we live

  138. by faith, we paint a picture.

  139. We paint a.

  140. Portrait of what God looks like, and other people can

  141. see us and know there's a.

  142. God through the way we live when we live by faith.

  143. But so many times we just like Israel, we're looking

  144. for salvation from other things. We're looking for salvation from

  145. our troubled relationships. We're looking for salvation from our troubled

  146. bank account. We're looking for salva. We're looking for salvation

  147. from our afflictions in our body. We're looking for salvation

  148. from all those things. But the reality is, if we

  149. live by faith and we seek first the Kingdom of God,

  150. then all of those other things will be added to us.

  151. We don't seek God for his hands. We seek God

  152. for his faith. We don't seek him for what he

  153. can do. We seek him for who he is, and

  154. that produces a cloud of faith that surrounds us that

  155. people look at us say, hey, those people are a

  156. little different than everybody else. Those crazy people down at cornerstone,

  157. they just don't worry about things that everybody else will

  158. come on somebody see. That's faith, and that points people

  159. towards God. And while we're present in this body, while

  160. we're present here, the Jesus in us is the only

  161. Jesus that the world will see.

  162. But to be absent from the body.

  163. That transition moment, that moment when we go from here

  164. to over under, Come on, now, Lord over yonder, that's

  165. somewhere else.

  166. Loris northern.

  167. I have to understand sometimes when I speak Southern, I

  168. like to interpret. So when you go from here to

  169. over yonder, when you head over under, that's where Jesus is.

  170. Jesus is over under. We're at just over yonder. Nobody

  171. knows exactly where he's at. I don't think you can

  172. go high enough to get to him, just like I

  173. don't think you can go deep enough to get to

  174. the devil. You move from the natural to the supernatural,

  175. and that transition happens, and the moment, the moment we die,

  176. we cross that plain, and to be absent from the

  177. body is to be present with.

  178. The Lord.

  179. That that moment in an instant, and I know a

  180. lot of people we worry about that moment, but there

  181. is no worry in that moment because the glory of the.

  182. Transition, the glory of being.

  183. With Jesus, and the moment we're in his presence. The

  184. Bible says that in His presence there is fullness of joy.

  185. Now listen, I if y'all hang around me very much,

  186. you know, I'm a pretty joyful person.

  187. You know.

  188. I just love I just love life. It doesn't matter

  189. what container comes. I just love life.

  190. You know.

  191. It's kind of like my wife loves Amazon. Come on, somebody,

  192. it doesn't matter what's in the box. When the Amazon

  193. box shows us, She's like, yeah, you know, that's just

  194. kind of how I am about life. Sometimes, you know,

  195. it's not as big of a box as other days.

  196. Amen.

  197. Sometimes the box is all beat up. But I love life.

  198. I just love having the opportunity to encounter people and

  199. experience what God has for me in that moment. But

  200. as joyful as I can be, as much joy as

  201. I have in my heart, it pales in comparison to

  202. the moment of true transition, where we're with the Lord

  203. and we receive fullness of joy. I think that if

  204. we receive the fullness of joy in this body, our

  205. body would explode, because this earth tint is not created

  206. to experience that kind of glory and encounter with the Lord.

  207. Amen.

  208. So to be absent from the body is to be

  209. present with the Lord. But I don't want there to

  210. be confusion about what that transition is because there's a

  211. lot of steps between there and the Great House. There's

  212. a lot of steps between there and New Jerusalem. But now, remember,

  213. to be absent from the body is to be present

  214. with the Lord.

  215. In one Thessalonians, chapter four, verse.

  216. Fifteen, it says, for this we say to you by

  217. the word of the Lord, that we who are alive

  218. and remain until the coming of the Lord, will by

  219. no means be preceded by those who are asleep. Listen, Uh,

  220. Pastor's mama, I call her miss married Grandma Mary, just

  221. what I called her, you know, just we just had

  222. that relationship with whatever I said, she responded to it.

  223. Amen.

  224. Sometimes I would say Angie, she would say, hey, sweetheart,

  225. It didn't matter, you know. She just repe she she

  226. used to tell me all the time. She would say.

  227. I would say, listen, you may outlive me. And she'd say,

  228. oh no, oh no, I'm not us. I tell you what,

  229. why don't we just go at the same time and

  230. we'll be in a foot race. And she said, honey,

  231. I'm gonna have a six foot head start on you.

  232. And the Bible says that that listen, those who were

  233. who are dead in Christ are no different than those

  234. of us who remain, That there is a moment.

  235. Where those things.

  236. Are somewhat equalled out, That there is that moment of

  237. transition for all of God, God's children, that for all

  238. of us as believers, and that we will nothing, that

  239. they will not presive, that we will not preceed those

  240. who are asleep, For the Lord himself will descend from

  241. heaven with a shout and the voice of an archangel,

  242. and with the trumpet of God.

  243. The dead in Christ will rise first.

  244. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught

  245. up together with them in the clouds to meet the

  246. Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be

  247. with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words.

  248. It's the rapture of the church. Now, listen this little word.

  249. There's so much craziness over that little word rapture.

  250. You know.

  251. I have had people who have just absolutely thrown pastors,

  252. who have thrown down and argued with me that there

  253. is no rapture because the word rapture does not appear

  254. in scripture. The word football does not appear in scripture either.

  255. But every Sunday I watch it.

  256. There's lots of things, there's lots of words that are

  257. not there, but the principle is there.

  258. The precept is there. We gave it the name.

  259. We gave it the name, and it's okay that we

  260. gave it the name because it is something that is

  261. going to happen, and it doesn't matter what we name it.

  262. Some people call next Sunday Easter. Some people call it

  263. Resurrection Day. I don't care what you call it. It's

  264. on the way. And I don't care what you call

  265. the snatching away, the pulling away. I don't care what

  266. you call it. It's coming. It's on the way. It's

  267. already positioned and hung in eternity, and we're waiting on

  268. the timeline to catch it up. It could be this

  269. afternoon if it's great, great, I will have to study

  270. next week for an Easter message. I'm always looking to

  271. have a day off.

  272. Amen.

  273. So that rapture, that calling away, where the dead in

  274. Christ rise and where the church is taken to be

  275. with the Lord in the air. And immediately following the rapture,

  276. we move from that rapture and believers move into the.

  277. Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

  278. In Revelation chapter nineteen, verse nine, it says, then he

  279. said to me, right, blessed are those who were called

  280. to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

  281. And he said to me, these are the true sayings

  282. of God.

  283. So when we're called away, we are the bride of

  284. Christ to be reunited with the groom. And there is

  285. a great celebration, that marriage supper of the Lamb, where

  286. we sit and we celebrate that your faithfulness, look at me,

  287. your faithfulness, your ability to try us to God through

  288. situation and circumstance.

  289. And you're reunited with your groom.

  290. That day that there will be a celebration that we

  291. call believers call the marriage Supper of the Lamb. And

  292. simultaneously with the marriage Supper of the Lamb. It's not

  293. such a pretty picture here on earth. So while we're

  294. in the at the banquet table, the marriage supper of

  295. the Lamb here on earth is that thing that people

  296. call tribulation. That's seven years of immense suffering and pain.

  297. Now listen, I want you to understand. People say, why

  298. would God do that? God means for no one to

  299. be here during that. God's plan is for not one

  300. person to be here during tribulation. God's plan is for

  301. every single person to be at the marriage supper of

  302. the Lamb. That's God's desire, that's God's will. That's God's

  303. will that none should perish but the average, but that

  304. all should have everlasting life life. It should be our

  305. mandate to make sure everybody's there first loaders, Amen.

  306. But for those that are.

  307. Left, because we know there are, because scripture says, just

  308. because God foretells it and God says it doesn't mean

  309. he wants it. Get over yourself and understand that sovereignty

  310. doesn't mean God wants it.

  311. He accepts it.

  312. God has a plan and a way, and he's big

  313. enough for those of us that receive it, and he's

  314. also big enough for those who choose not to that sovereignty.

  315. That He's big enough and strong enough to not do

  316. anything about it. It's like letting your children learn those

  317. hard lessons. We have to stand back sometimes and let

  318. them know that that wall's hard when they bang their

  319. head into it.

  320. Amen. And he allows it to learn those lessons.

  321. So the world is going through tribulation while we're at

  322. the great marriage Supper of the Lamb, this banquet feast

  323. and celebrating the bride in the groom being reunited. And

  324. then at the end of that marriage Supper of the Lamb,

  325. at the end of tribulation, Jesus will mount that white

  326. horse that we read about in Revelation. He'll ride back

  327. to Earth. We will follow. There will be it's not

  328. much of a battle. It's not much of a fight.

  329. And he meets in Armageddon and he does this thing

  330. and he wins the war, and he binds the enemy,

  331. and he holds the enemy prisoner, and we enter what's

  332. called the millennial rain.

  333. Now, listen, I know.

  334. That a lot of people get concerned now because that

  335. doesn't mean that the millennials are in charge.

  336. Amen, Not what that means.

  337. You know, when when when when that generation was named millennials,

  338. And we see some of the things I'm like, oh no,

  339. but people are not gonna want any part of that.

  340. But it means for a thousand years, there's a rule

  341. and reign of Christ on earth for a thousand years.

  342. Where we rule as a kingdom of priests, and.

  343. There's gonna be people born, and there's gonna be people

  344. that die. There's gonna be things that happen, people that

  345. that did not go in the first load.

  346. There's going to be people.

  347. That that that that that experienced things on earth.

  348. And at the end of that thousand years.

  349. It says that that the devil Satan will be released

  350. to deceive one more time because everyone has to make

  351. the decision to trust Jesus as their savior, so they

  352. have to they have to push back that same deception

  353. that we work against every single day. Amen, where it

  354. comes up and he says, hey, if you do this,

  355. it's easier, or that fruit it looks good, it tastes good,

  356. it'll make you wise. That that deception, he'll be released

  357. and he'll deceive one final time, and then he'll be

  358. cast into the lake of fire, and then the judgments

  359. will happen.

  360. Now, when when you stand judgment, I.

  361. Want you to understand something as a believer, you know,

  362. there's a lot of people that fear what that looks like.

  363. That we're going to stand before God and he's going

  364. to say, all right, Jeremy, you did this right, you

  365. did that wrong, that wrong, that wrong, that wrong, that wrong,

  366. and that right and that right. That's not the way

  367. judgment looks. Scripture says that when we repent of our sin,

  368. that Jesus washes us of our sin and he casts

  369. that sin away and remembers it no more. If he

  370. remembers it no more, how is he going to bring

  371. it back up in judgment. So we're going to stand

  372. before Jesus and he's going to talk about the great

  373. accomplishments that we had for the kingdom. He's going to

  374. talk about the good things, because the old has passed

  375. away and all things are made new, and those things

  376. are relinquished. Those things are gone, and we're judged and

  377. we are rewarded, rewarded according to those good things we

  378. did for the kingdom. And then the kingdom. Then the

  379. judgment of sinners looks very different, and there's not a

  380. whole lot of talk because the decisions already made and

  381. the loss will stand before him and he'll say guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty,

  382. and they'll join the enemy in.

  383. The lake of fire.

  384. It's God's will that nobody goes to the lake of

  385. fire except the devil.

  386. That's God's will. Church. We need to get busy.

  387. We need to get busy because the percentage of Christians

  388. in America is shrinking every day. Christians are dying faster

  389. than you. Christians are being born again in the United

  390. States of America. And that's not an indictment on God,

  391. that's an indict on the Church. We have to live

  392. our lives missional. We have to live our lives out

  393. loud and focused towards the community. And at the end

  394. of that, at the end of that judgment, Pastor Clay,

  395. you guys can come and get ready.

  396. At the end of that we find.

  397. We find Revelation chapter twenty one, starting in verse one.

  398. Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth,

  399. for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.

  400. Also there was no more sea than I John saw

  401. the Holy City, that great house, the great House, the

  402. one that we read about and the one that we

  403. shout about, and the one that we celebrate, where the

  404. streets of gold in the crystal sea, that place where

  405. where Jesus is the life, there's neither dot night nor day,

  406. because Jesus Us himself is the light. Then I John

  407. saw so the Holy City New Jerusalem, coming down out

  408. of Heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for

  409. her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, behold,

  410. the Tabernacle of God is with men, and He will

  411. dwell with them, and they shall be His people.

  412. God himself will be with them and be their God.

  413. That literally, just like in the Garden of Eden where

  414. he came and he walked with Adam and Eve in

  415. the still of the evening, That he'll do that for you.

  416. That he will have face to face fellowship, That there will.

  417. Be true communion with God in the Great House, that

  418. will be overwhelm by His glory, and that worship will

  419. flow out of us.

  420. Like it never has before.

  421. Where there's no more pain, there's no more tears, there's

  422. no more hurt, there's no more sorrow.

  423. It's hard for my mind to wrap around.

  424. The concept that all of those things, because every one

  425. of those things are contrary to the nature and will

  426. of God, that those things are gone and eradicated. That

  427. brokenheartedness that you feel won't be there anymore, but that

  428. struggle won't be there anymore.

  429. It's just complete enjoyment with the Lord. You know, when

  430. we read John chapter fourteen, we left off in verse.

  431. Four and Jesus said, you know the way.

  432. But then good old Thomas, the doubter, he brings up something.

  433. And maybe there's.

  434. Somebody here today that you don't know the way. You

  435. don't know how to get there. You don't know how

  436. to make it to the Great House to enjoy these

  437. things that I've talked about today.

  438. But we pick up back in John chapter fourteen, verse five.

  439. Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where

  440. you're going and how we can know the way. And

  441. Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth

  442. and the life.

  443. No one comes to the Father except through me.

  444. Jesus is the way, the Truth, and the life. You

  445. can't be good enough to get to Heaven. You can't

  446. worship somebody else to get to heaven. You can't give

  447. enough to the Building Fund to get to Heaven. You listen,

  448. the only way is through Jesus. And right now, in

  449. this moment, if you're here and when you ask yourself

  450. the question, do you know do you know beyond a

  451. shadow of a doubt, that if you die today or

  452. if the trumpet call of God happened today, do you

  453. know that you would go to heaven. If the answer

  454. to that.

  455. Is I'm not sure or no, then this is your moment.

  456. If your answer to that as well, you know I

  457. pray to prayer a few years ago, but I've allowed

  458. sin to come between me and the Lord, and I

  459. don't feel as close to the Lords as I used

  460. to feel.

  461. Why one, why wonder? Why leave any why leave any.

  462. Opportunity for anything? But if you're here today and you

  463. want to come back to Jesus or you want to

  464. trust him for the very first time give your life

  465. to him, now is your moment. I want everybody to

  466. close your eyes and bow your heads. If you're here

  467. today and you don't know that you know that, you

  468. know that you would make it to the Great House,

  469. but you want to leave here knowing that, slip up

  470. your hand right now, say that's my pastor pray for me.

  471. I want to know that I know. Just put your

  472. hand up, put it right back down. I want to erase.

  473. Any doubt gonna wait just another moment.

  474. Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, I see that hand. We got

  475. just a little bit longer.

  476. So let's wait. Holy Spirit's moving and tugging on people's hearts.

  477. Just put your hand up, put it right back down.

  478. I just want to make sure, Pastor. I just want

  479. to make sure Pastor pray for me. I want to

  480. make sure I don't know that I know that I know.

  481. Slip your hand up and put it right back down.

  482. If you just want that assurance. Mm hmm.

  483. Amen. Every eye open, every head and looking around. Everybody,

  484. stand to your feet. Let me have some of our

  485. our alter team come listen.

  486. Here.

  487. Here's where it gets real, all of the promise of

  488. eternity and all the glory that comes with it. Faith.

  489. We walk by faith. So if you raised your hand,

  490. or if you didn't raise your hand, but now you

  491. know you should have. I'm gonna to three. When I

  492. get to three, if you raise your hands, step out

  493. from where you're sitting. Don't wait, don't look around. This

  494. is your time to make sure things are right between

  495. you and the Lord. If you didn't raise your hand,

  496. but now you're saying yeah, I'm ready. When I count

  497. to three, I want you to step out and come,

  498. step out and come.

  499. The band's gonna.

  500. Sing, and you just come and you find somebody that

  501. you want to pray with, somebody that you think is nice,

  502. and you come and pray with them, and they want

  503. to believe God with you. They're gonna pray a prayer

  504. with you. It's on the count.

  505. Three.

  506. I want you to step out and come one.

  507. Please don't hold back.

  508. Two three, step out and come right now. Come on,

  509. come on, come on, come on, come on, come on,

  510. step out and come right now, step out and come

  511. right now.

  512. Come on. There's more, there's more, come on, come on.

  513. I want everything. I want to know that, I know

  514. that I know. Oh everything is right. Come on, come on,

  515. where are you? Come on, come on, step out me.

  516. It doesn't matter how young you are, doesn't matter how

  517. old you are. Step out and come right now. Come on,

  518. come on, come on, come on, come on, come on,

  519. come on, come on, come on, come on, come on. Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, amen.

  520. The alders are open as the Holy Spirit tugs on

  521. your heart. Just step out and move. Just step out

  522. and come passion, clay.

  523. Let's see
