  1. Jesus' name.

  2. Amen, Amen, and amen, give the Lord a hand clout

  3. one more time.

  4. Thank you Lord.

  5. H We're starting a brand new series today called Haunted House.

  6. Now listen, don't freak out with a name, don't don't listen,

  7. don't freak out.

  8. Uh.

  9. Basically everything this year has been that house theme, and

  10. we're talking about the supernatural this month. Uh, So it

  11. just seemed fitting that we just kind of threw in

  12. that reference because that's all about I promise, I'm not

  13. gonna be preaching about ghosts and we're not gonna scare

  14. you when you go into the nobody's gonna jump out

  15. when you go to the bathroom. That's not what this

  16. is about. But we're going to focus on the invisible

  17. part of.

  18. The Kingdom of God. Amen.

  19. We're gonna talk about the supernatural. Uh, we're gonna talk

  20. about the Holy Ghost today. Come on somebody. Uh then Uh,

  21. then U Pastor Clay's gonna preach a message to you

  22. about heaven and Hell. Then we're gonna talk about angels

  23. and demons, and then we're gonna talk about spiritual warfare

  24. through this month. So this is that this this says

  25. that time, these are the things that the people you

  26. know want to hear about.

  27. Amen, that supernatural aspect.

  28. So now is a great time for you to invite

  29. somebody to come to.

  30. Church with you or to send them a link to

  31. the online.

  32. Worship experience, because we want people to understand that we

  33. serve a supernatural God. We serve a supernatural God because

  34. most people walk through their lives and they look around

  35. and they don't think there's any natural way for them

  36. to have a change in their situation and their circumstance.

  37. And the reality is, most of the time there is

  38. no natural way. But we don't serve a natural God.

  39. We serve a supernatural God who doesn't have to play

  40. by the same rules, who's not bound by those same principles.

  41. He has his own set and he can do whatever

  42. he wants whenever he wants, and he can bring you

  43. through something just like that. He can position you for blessing,

  44. he can heal your body, he can put a relation

  45. ship back together.

  46. He can do all those things in a moment.

  47. If we just lean into the supernatural part of who

  48. he is and stop thinking that we have to help him. Listen,

  49. I'm gonna preach better than y'all are y'all are not

  50. warmed up. Y'all'm gonna preach better than what y'all are

  51. letting on right now. I just wanted you to know

  52. that's where we're going today. If you've got a Bible,

  53. John chapter sixteen, John chapter sixteen.

  54. I think that the.

  55. Primary purpose of the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit

  56. and the presence of the Holy Spirit the.

  57. Number one objective.

  58. His number one priority is to glorify Jesus. The Spirit's

  59. number one priority is to glorify Jesus. And I want you,

  60. I want to go ahead and clarify something here. Holy

  61. Spirit is not God's power on earth, as if you know,

  62. God is sitting up there and he's going and whatever

  63. out of the end of his fingers is Holy Spirit.

  64. And the movie Holy Spirit is a third part and

  65. equal part of the Triune godhead of the Trinity. Three

  66. and one. I've already had some conversation without this morning. Listen,

  67. I do not have I'm not smart enough. Steve knows me.

  68. He's laughing.

  69. I'm not smart enough to give you an in depth

  70. explanation because my mind is finite and I cannot understand

  71. three but one that's just not something that we do,

  72. because there's no natural explanation to that.

  73. You have to take that by faith. It just lives

  74. out there somewhere.

  75. And I just trust that God is who he says

  76. he is and he does the things he says he

  77. can do, because he's never ever let me down and

  78. he's proven himself time and time again. So my faith

  79. is just engaged on everything he says. And Holy Spirit

  80. is a is a person, a part of the try,

  81. so it's not just He's not just power. He is

  82. a person, just like the Father, just like the son,

  83. and his primary purpose is to glorify Jesus.

  84. John chapter sixteen, Starting in verse twelve, it.

  85. Says, I still have many things to say to you,

  86. but you cannot bear them now.

  87. I wish I was.

  88. Preaching that this morning. Do you know that the Lord

  89. has so many things for you? He has so much

  90. there's so much purpose and so much destiny ahead of you,

  91. But he has to withhold it because you can't bear

  92. it right now. If he told you the totality, the

  93. immensity of what he wanted for your life, or your

  94. children's lives, or your grandchildren's lives, you wouldn't be able

  95. to bear it right now. So he just says, hey,

  96. be patient, walk with me, and I'm going to give

  97. it to you, little by little by little.

  98. Amen.

  99. He says, listen, I want to tell you, but you

  100. can't bear it right now.

  101. However, when he.

  102. The spirit of truth has come, he will guide you

  103. into all truth. For he will not speak on his

  104. own authority, but whatever he hears, he will speak, and

  105. he will tell you things to come. He will glorify me.

  106. He will take of what is mine and declare it

  107. to you. All things that the Father has are mine.

  108. Therefore I said, he will take of mine and declare

  109. it to you. Let's pray, Father, we thank you for

  110. your word. It's the only change agent on the face

  111. of the planet. And I pray that today you change us,

  112. that you mold us and shape us. Lord, that when

  113. we leave today we're we're a little more like you

  114. and a little less like us.

  115. Father, that we hear.

  116. Receieve your impartation of truth, or we give you glory

  117. and honor and praise in Jesus' name.

  118. Amen, Amen, and amen.

  119. So his his primary purpose is to glorify Jesus, you know,

  120. and that would be uh, that seems like a pretty

  121. easy thing for God to do. After all, he's God.

  122. He could just come and make force everybody to bow

  123. their knee. He could he could just if that's the

  124. path he chose to take, he could just force everybody

  125. down on their knees, head up towards heaven, and he

  126. could just say, here's Jesus, give him glory. But he

  127. has a different path because in order to worship God,

  128. which is why he created us. He created us to

  129. worship him. He created us to uh to exalt him.

  130. He created us for his pleasure. I listen, a lot

  131. of we we we have problems sometimes when we say

  132. things like that, but we were created for God's pleasure.

  133. A lot of times we think that God is there

  134. for our pleasure. But God created us for his pleasure.

  135. He's the creator and as a result, he desired. His

  136. desire is for us to willingly come to him, And

  137. anything forrest is not true worship. If I hold a

  138. gun to Calvin's head and say Calvin, tell me you

  139. love me, and he says I love you, Pastor, that's

  140. not that, that's not really a true expression of how

  141. he feels about me. Amen, that's self preservation. But you

  142. know how I know Calvin loves me. It's because he

  143. comes up every day and he says, hey, you dropped

  144. your ear, and he tries to make me look at

  145. the ground because that's our thing, right, That's that's the relationship.

  146. We We just joke with each other all the time.

  147. We're poking fun with each other all the time.

  148. And and that's how I know.

  149. It's because there is a true, unslilicited expression of how

  150. he feels towards me.

  151. It's the same with my wife. She doesn't screams say

  152. tell me you lie me. I just say baby, I

  153. love you, Baby, I love you all the time, Baby,

  154. I love you. I love you. Sometimes you just say

  155. I know.

  156. That's a five hundredth time you said it today.

  157. But I want you to forget I love you.

  158. I love you. Can I go get you a chocolate bar?

  159. At eight thirty at night? Can I go get you?

  160. Can I go get Because I want to give amen?

  161. Because it's an expression of love. That's what I want

  162. to do, and that's what the Lord wants of us.

  163. So in order for the Holy Spirit to glorify Christ,

  164. he chooses to do it by working in our lives

  165. to position us to be able to love Jesus better.

  166. In John chapter fourteen, verse twenty five, he gives us

  167. two expressions of how he does that.

  168. It says, these.

  169. Things, I've spoken to you while being present with you.

  170. But the Helper, the helper holy Spirit. He's defined as

  171. helper and comforter. He's the one who comes alongside the paraclet.

  172. He comes alongside and he helps us, and he brings

  173. us comfort in times of trouble. So he is our helper,

  174. he's our comforter. He says, these things, I've spoken to

  175. you while being present with you. But the Helper, the

  176. Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,

  177. he will teach you all things and bring to your

  178. remembrance all that I said to you, he says.

  179. So I'm gonna help you, I'm gonna.

  180. Comfort you, and he's also going to teach you all things.

  181. Everybody look at me for a second. You cannot use.

  182. I don't know. I can't figure it out.

  183. I don't understand as an excuse not to grow closer

  184. to Jesus, because the very God who created you is

  185. also teaching you the principles he wants you to learn.

  186. Now, you may be.

  187. Hard headed, and as far as I know hard headedness

  188. is the only learning disability that keeps you from maturity

  189. in the body of Christ. Because the Holy Spirit teaches

  190. you all things. He will teach you things through the

  191. situations and circumstances in life. He will teach you things

  192. when you go to bed at night and you have

  193. those spiritual dreams. He will teach you things through his word.

  194. He will teach you things through preaching. He will teach

  195. you things through encounters with other people.

  196. He's always teaching, and he's always.

  197. Calling you up towards more and empowering you to be

  198. more than you ever thought you could be. Because he

  199. is our comforter and he is our teacher, and it's

  200. all pointing us back to glorify Jesus. He's never going

  201. to teach you something that will diminish Christ. Now watch

  202. hold on for all of you, for all of you

  203. YouTube Christians. I mean, you know you're just you spend

  204. eight hours a day on the social media's and you're

  205. just trying to find that.

  206. Glory to God.

  207. I'm just trying to find revelation. My pastor, he's just

  208. so shadow Listen, I know I'm shallow. I know my

  209. teaching is shallow. It's okay, and it's on purpose. It's

  210. it's on purpose because here's the thing. I just want

  211. you to leave every week with one thing. I want

  212. you to leave every week with one thing that you

  213. can put into practice this afternoon at lunch.

  214. Just one thing.

  215. And if you can get one thing and you show

  216. up every week, you're gonna have fifty two godly principles

  217. that you are able to put into work over the

  218. course of the year.

  219. Amen.

  220. So yeah, I'm not gonna stand up here and give

  221. you a theological dissertation followed by emailing you this essay.

  222. That supports all of the evidence.

  223. I'm not gonna do that because I want you to

  224. go do something, because I believe the number one principle

  225. of discipleship is doing, not learning. Now, you got to

  226. learn before you can do. But you also can't keep

  227. learning without doing. So listen, He's always going to point

  228. towards Christ.

  229. He's always going to lift up Christ.

  230. When you're out there and you're scouring the internet and

  231. you're looking for revelation, you're looking for that next thing,

  232. and people start teaching things that does not elevate Jesus

  233. but brings him down.

  234. That's not godly.

  235. So if they're teaching you something and they're like, oh, well,

  236. maybe Jesus wasn't born of a virgin, or maybe Jesus

  237. didn't do or maybe Jesus was married, maybe Jesus pushed

  238. a baby off house and died and called him back.

  239. That's not godly teaching because it brings Christ down. And

  240. everything the Holy Spirit does, who is the teacher of

  241. all things, he only lifts him up and glorifies him.

  242. So in your pursuit of the next great revelation, make

  243. sure that it lifts Jesus up, that.

  244. It talks about how great he is and doesn't bring

  245. him more to a human level.

  246. Because although he was, he came in flesh, he was

  247. fully God and fully man, and he was elevated and

  248. he always will be. He always has been above us

  249. because he is our King of kings.

  250. And our Lord of lords.

  251. He is not a crucified king, though he is our

  252. resurrected savior.

  253. Who I'm sweating. The way he does that most often

  254. is that Holy Spirit.

  255. It's purpose in glorifying Christ is to empower believers, to

  256. empower us to live above because if people look at

  257. your life and they see you're not like everybody else.

  258. They start looking for the reason why if you handle

  259. stress different than everybody else. People want to know why,

  260. if you're able to manage money better than they're able

  261. to manage money.

  262. People want to know why if you know what's.

  263. Coming before it gets their people want.

  264. To know why. And God empowers us to.

  265. Live differently, to set us as a city on a hill,

  266. not on Hell.

  267. That was just hold on, we're gonna cut that out

  268. of the tape. Oh we're live already said it.

  269. He sets us as a city on a hill for

  270. the purpose of being a navigate gational beacon. That Jesus

  271. in us helping other people navigate their lives, not to

  272. Hell to heaven. Pastor Clay is going to clarify those

  273. things next week. In Acts, chapter one, verse eight, Jesus

  274. speaks of the coming promise. He says, but you shall

  275. receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

  276. And here's the purpose of the power. Now, look, I

  277. want to be I want to be straight up. The

  278. purpose of the power is not so you can get

  279. your own preaching show on TBN. It's not so we

  280. can have some tricks in the altar. It's not so

  281. we can all come together say, oh, we had a

  282. good service. Forty two people spoke in tongues that thirteen

  283. people fell down.

  284. We don't know why. One on we couldn't get up.

  285. We just had to care home and dropped them in

  286. the yard. Didn't got him in the house.

  287. And you shall receive power when the Holy Ghost has

  288. come upon you, so that you can be my witnesses,

  289. to be witnesses of me in Jerusalem and in all

  290. Judaea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

  291. So that you can be witnesses to me in your

  292. direct sphere of influence, So that you can be witnesses

  293. to Me and the places that you regularly go, so

  294. that you can be witnesses to Me, to the people

  295. that live around you. But they don't look like you,

  296. they don't talk like you, they don't smell like you,

  297. they're nothing like you. But you can still be witnesses,

  298. and that you can go anywhere in the world and

  299. still have your light shining. He says, that's the purpose

  300. of the empowerment that's coming. The reason for the baptism

  301. in the Holy Spirit is so that we can be

  302. a better witness and we can live and glorify Christ

  303. in a better way. Not in the altar, but in

  304. the world.

  305. You know, I have.

  306. Somebody asked me one time. They said, Apprecier, you talked

  307. about it. You prave about the baptism, the Holy Spirit.

  308. You think you can go to heaven without the Holy Ghost.

  309. I said, yeah, I think you can go to heaven

  310. without the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

  311. I said, but I.

  312. Don't even want to go to the grocery store without

  313. the baptism with the Holy Spirit. I don't know why

  314. you want to go to heaven right, Because it's.

  315. That in dwelling power.

  316. It's that empowerment for the life of the believer that

  317. my witness stands out and stands above that I don't

  318. have to listen when I go to the grocery store.

  319. If I see somebody, I don't have to pray if

  320. God wants me to talk to them or not. I

  321. don't stop get on my knees and say, Lord, give

  322. me revelation. Should I witness or not. No, He's just

  323. in me and he comes out of me. Somebody says,

  324. old Pastor, I got this is going on. That's going on.

  325. You know, we're standing at to Gas pump pumping gas.

  326. I don't stop saying, should I pray for him right now?

  327. While I'm pumping gas, I lay hands on people pray

  328. for him right there, because it's an empowerment of the witness,

  329. and I treasure that experience. The baptism in the Holy Spirit. Now,

  330. let me talk about that for just a moment. When

  331. you get saved, the moment you get saved, holy Ghost

  332. is present in your life. The moment you're saved, holy

  333. Ghost is there. It's not like he saves you and

  334. then you're empty and you're an orphan. Holy Ghost is

  335. in you. And listen, he's all the way up to here.

  336. He's all the way up to the top. He doesn't

  337. give you just a little bit of a taste. He's

  338. not a drug dealer trying to get you to get more.

  339. That's not what it's about. He gives it to you

  340. right here.

  341. And the baptism of the Holy Spirit is when we

  342. have an experience where God continues to poor Holy Ghost

  343. until what was in me I'm now flooded by So

  344. it's out of my belly. That river of living water

  345. flows and it fills up the environment and the atmosphere

  346. around me. So I'm now enveloped in just what once

  347. was on the inside of me, and now I'm empowered.

  348. And when the spirit comes, or when the enemy comes,

  349. the Spirit stands up, lifts up a standard against him,

  350. and I'm able to persevere, stands shoulder to shoulder, toe

  351. to toe, knows to those with the enemy, understanding that

  352. there is an empowerment.

  353. In my life.

  354. And He's given me a set of tools to handle

  355. any situation, in any circumstance, and those tools. First Corinthians,

  356. chapter twelve, Go there, first Corinthians, chapter twelve. We're gonna

  357. start in verse seven. Everybody when we say yeah, by

  358. going too fast. Verse Corinthians, chapter twelve, Verse seven, it says,

  359. but the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each

  360. one for the profit of all. That word all does

  361. not mean everybody that goes to a Pentecostal church. It

  362. means everybody lost saved somewhere straddling the fence in between.

  363. Everybody is for the profit of every body. All. But

  364. the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one

  365. for the prophet of all. For to one is given

  366. the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the

  367. word of knowledge through the same spirit to another. Faith

  368. by the same spirit to another, gifts of healings by

  369. the same spirit to another, the word of miracles to another,

  370. prophecy to another, discerning of spirits to another, different kinds

  371. of tongues to another, the interpretation of tongues.

  372. But one in the same.

  373. Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually

  374. as he wills. He says, there's a set of tools

  375. that comes with this indwelling power of the Holy Spirit.

  376. These nine tools are there to equip you to go

  377. and glorify Jesus in the world and lift him up,

  378. drawing people to him. They're not things to be hidden.

  379. For a long time, the modern Church has said, if

  380. we want to have a crowd, if we want to

  381. get people to come, if we want to get people

  382. to give, if we want to get people to serve, oh,

  383. you can't do those weird things.

  384. You can't you can't do them, weird things.

  385. You can't listen. And this is how we get around it.

  386. Oh no, no, no, no, won't do those things in corporate worship.

  387. Those are intimate expreier, that's an intimate expression. Those things

  388. happen in small groups. They happen everywhere I go, small group,

  389. big group, no group. My favorite place to exercise the gifts.

  390. Of tongues is in my automobile.

  391. I know people drive up next to me and my

  392. mouth is going so fast that they think I'm like

  393. trying to launch a rap album or something a man,

  394. because I'm just praying in.

  395. A holy goo. It's just me and him, and I'm

  396. just enjoying it.

  397. And the Bible says that when I'm praying in the spirit,

  398. I'm releasing the hidden wisdom of God that was laid

  399. up for me from the for the ages, for my glory.

  400. That when I'm speaking in my prayer language, when I'm

  401. praying my prayer language, that I'm releasing destiny and purpose

  402. over my life. The things that I don't know, the

  403. things that I may not even understand are coming yet,

  404. but I'm releasing them, and it's changing the atmosphere and

  405. setting the condition of destiny around me. We're talking about

  406. the supernatural where God dwells, and here's here's here's.

  407. These nine things. I want to break them down to

  408. you in a list of three. These Uh.

  409. The first three gifts that I want to talk about

  410. are the proclamation gifts, the proclamation gifts are those things

  411. that that happen with our mouth. That's prophecy. And the

  412. word prophecy is different than the office of profit. I'm

  413. gonna go quick. It's different than the office of prophecy.

  414. This prophecy is not actually the foretelling of the future.

  415. That's the office of prophets what he does. But but

  416. this prophecy is an encouraging and uplifting word that points

  417. people in the direction of Jesus. Somebody comes in, you

  418. look at them and you think, wow, you know, I

  419. just I'm my gift to work. Fave of your hair

  420. looks nice today. Prophesying, baby prophesy. Somebody's going through a

  421. terribly hard time and they.

  422. Just feel unloved.

  423. And I look at them and I say, I want

  424. you to know that Jesus will never leave you, and

  425. he will never forsake you.

  426. I'm prophesy.

  427. That encouraging, strong, edifying word that breaks the bondage of the.

  428. Enemy out of people's life. Prophecy. The second proclamation gift

  429. is tongues.

  430. It's that one that you know, It's probably the one

  431. that people are the most squeamish about because it does

  432. sound I'm just transparency. Right, that's gonna teach through core

  433. values in November. Transparency. It sounds and feels as supposed

  434. to look like everybody else.

  435. And there are three.

  436. Different types of gifts of tongues talked about in the

  437. New Testament. The first, it's what happens right there in

  438. Acts chapter two, where they spoke and people understood it

  439. in their language.

  440. It's the ability to speak a language you don't know.

  441. The second is your prayer language. It's when you pray,

  442. and it's those groanings and utterings that happened from within you.

  443. You don't know what to pray, you don't know how

  444. to pray, and you just allow the Holy Ghost to

  445. move in you, and that gift of tongues comes out

  446. in your prayer language. And that's the one that Paul

  447. treasured the most. He said, listen in church, y'all all crazy,

  448. everybody speaking in tongues, and it's chaos, man, nothing is happening.

  449. Two or three at the most. And then he looks

  450. at him and says, but I thank God, I pray.

  451. I speak in tongues more than all of you. He

  452. just said, don't because he prayed. He used his prayer

  453. language and his gift, and he treasured it and he

  454. used it all the time. And then the third is

  455. that one that most people have a problem with. It's

  456. when somebody stands up in a corporate worship experience and

  457. they give a message in tongues and that is accompanied

  458. by interpretation. The third in that list interpretation. So somebody

  459. gives a message in tongues, somebody stands up in interprets.

  460. Now, this is what scripture says.

  461. And I'm trying to cover a lot, and I and

  462. I'm not close to being done, but I'm not gonna

  463. keep you forever.

  464. Amen.

  465. We'll be out here by three. Actually I got a

  466. meeting at too, so we'll be out by two. So

  467. here's the thing interpretation that we don't have somebody that

  468. wears a jersey that like says interpreter on it. Every

  469. time I have somebody that's that's not Pentecostal, they look

  470. at me and say, y'all got an interpreter at y'all's church,

  471. as if like we keep them in a room somewhere,

  472. you know. And when somebody gives a man like hey, hey, hey, hey,

  473. come get in there, get.

  474. A micro want to get in there. No, here's the thing.

  475. It's a spiritual gift.

  476. If you have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

  477. Listen to me, you got that gift. It's there, it's potential.

  478. Send you it's there. But the reality is, Paul says,

  479. when you give a message in tongues, pray that you

  480. receive the interpretation, interpret it yourself, and if not, someone

  481. else will come alongside. But the same thing goes.

  482. Listen. You know, we have people that.

  483. Worship in their prayer language that they pray out loud.

  484. That does not require an interpretation because that's prayer language.

  485. That's not a message.

  486. A message in tongues, and an interpretation is equal to prophecy.

  487. Those are the three proclamation gifts. The second set is

  488. the perception gifts Word of wisdom, where God gives you

  489. the wisdom and the ability to speak into a situation.

  490. And most of the time people just look at you

  491. and say, while you're wise beyond your years.

  492. They don't say that to me anymore because I'm old,

  493. but they used to say, oh, you're wise, and it's

  494. the gift of wisdom. Pastor Clay operates at a very

  495. high level in Word of wisdom, very high level because

  496. I know him. He's not as smart as the things

  497. that come out of his mouth. Amen, I just know.

  498. So it's word of wisdom, high level word of wisdom.

  499. The next is word of knowledge. It's when God gives

  500. you the ability to understand what's happening in somebody's life

  501. with no context.

  502. You just know that something's going on.

  503. You know what that thing is, so that you can

  504. speak into that thing. The fourth is discernment, the ability

  505. to know if something's origin is of the enemy or

  506. of God. Something is originated with the enemy or something

  507. is originated with God. That's a hard thing that goes

  508. back to remember trials and temptations that we preached about

  509. a couple of weeks ago. Discernment is where that comes

  510. into play. The third group the power gifts. These are

  511. the ones everybody wants because this gets you on TBN.

  512. This is the one. These are the ones right here. Faith.

  513. Faith is the currency of the Kingdom. Faith allows me

  514. to stand and believe that God is doing something. He's

  515. collapsing time frames, He's bringing something out of the invisible

  516. and setting it in the visible. Faith is what allows

  517. us to stand no matter what the enemy's doing. Faith

  518. gives us the assurance that even if we fail, God

  519. has got us. It was faith when Peters stepped out

  520. of the boat onto the water, and it was still

  521. faith even if he sank, because he believed and took

  522. action on his belief. And listen, faith is this. I'm

  523. willing to fail if it's on God's behalf. I'm willing

  524. to fail if it glorifies Jesus. I don't have to win,

  525. it doesn't have to come to pass. I just believe

  526. him and I trust him. And if he says jump,

  527. I don't even look for a place to land.

  528. I just go.

  529. Miracles a divine interruption in the natural progression of things.

  530. Somebody comes in, they have cancer, we pray, they leave,

  531. they ain't got it. Miracle.

  532. Amen, I'm twenty seven dollars short on my rent. Somebody

  533. walks up to me after church hands me twenty seven dollars.

  534. Miracle.

  535. The scope of those things feel different equal miracle. There's

  536. no big miracles and little miracles. It is the divine

  537. interruption in the night occurrence of things. So miracle. They're

  538. all around you every single day. If you will look,

  539. they're all around you every day. Because you're a broker

  540. of miracles. The lass is healing. It's when God comes

  541. alongside and he speeds up that natural progression of things.

  542. Let me say that again, He speeds up the natural

  543. progression of things. A miracle is when He intervenes. Healing

  544. is when it's progressive, but it's sped up and God

  545. keeps you. He brings your he brings your restoration faster,

  546. your recovery is easier. He's allowed those things to happen

  547. in your life. It's still progressive, it's still moves, but

  548. still a testimony, and it still baffles those that are

  549. in the healthcare world and the people around you, and

  550. as a testimony to them, that's healing.

  551. Clay, come and get ready.

  552. These nine gifts are in a tool belt that we

  553. wear into the world that we're equipped to glorify Jesus

  554. in both the good times and the bad times, in

  555. front of our small group and in.

  556. Front of the world.

  557. It is a is it an equipping and an empowering

  558. for the believer to live Jesus out loud. In Acts

  559. Chapter two, verse one, this is when we see the

  560. New Testament church born. This is when the modern church,

  561. the way the modern church is supposed to function, was born.

  562. In Acts, chapter two, Verse one, it says, when the

  563. day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with

  564. one accord in one place, and suddenly there came a sound.

  565. From heaven.

  566. Was as of a rushing, mighty wind, and it filled

  567. the whole house.

  568. Where they were sitting.

  569. Then there appeared to them divided tongues as a fire,

  570. and once in one set upon each of them, and

  571. they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began

  572. to speak with other tongues.

  573. As the spirit gave them utterance.

  574. There was a There was suddenly a change in the

  575. atmosphere of that place where there was.

  576. There was this this.

  577. Moment where where God was just there more than he

  578. previously was his manifest presence, and he began to sit

  579. on each of the believers. And this had happened throughout

  580. all the writings of the Old Testament. He had moved

  581. on the prophets, and they prophesied. He had moved on people,

  582. and they were healed. He had moved on. He had

  583. moved on, he had moved on, he had sat upon

  584. he had.

  585. But for the first time something different happened.

  586. Instead of sitting on them, it says they were all filled.

  587. That the Holy.

  588. Spirit didn't just change the outer context, but he changed

  589. the inner context, and he would dwell inside the believer

  590. from that moment on and empower them with signs and

  591. wonders that would glorify Christ and lift him up above

  592. every situation, in every circumstance, and point the way to

  593. serve a supernatural God, not a God that takes pleasure

  594. in our hurt and our pain, but a God who

  595. is trying to deliver us through it. If we could

  596. just get our eyes on him, and he sent the

  597. church here so that we could show people that there

  598. is a better way, that there is a way through,

  599. that there is a way to make it, if we'll

  600. just trust and.

  601. Dig into those gifts that he placed on the inside

  602. of us. Today is the day.

  603. That we become more like the early first Church, because

  604. we embrace and we understand the power of Holy.

  605. Spirit, no emotion.

  606. You know what I would normally do, and in years prior,

  607. what I would normally do is I would I'd tell

  608. a story right now, tell us tell this moving story. Man.

  609. I get y'all all fired up, excited, and I'd be like,

  610. if you want that, come on to the hater. You'd

  611. be like, whoa, you'd run down here, I push you

  612. down in the floor. Come on, somebody, I've done it, man,

  613. I've gone listen. Early in my ministry, I'd go home

  614. my shoulder and be so sore because I'd be like ah,

  615. because I was so concerned whether people fail or not.

  616. But now I realize I don't care if you fall

  617. or not. If you fall high you get up. Do

  618. you get up empowered? Do you leave just dying to

  619. tell somebody about Jesus?

  620. Do you leave wanting to be on Hell's hit list?

  621. So right now, as you think about it, everybody standing

  622. with me, if you're hearing you say, pastor.

  623. Hey, you know this whole empowered by the Holy Ghost thing.

  624. I like that. I want to live different. I want

  625. that boldness. You know. Our denomination.

  626. Teaches that that the initial physical evidence of the baptism

  627. of the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues. And there

  628. is a pattern in the Book of Acts that when

  629. people got baptized in the Holy Ghost, that they spoke

  630. in tongues.

  631. Then one time they spoke in tongues and they prophesied.

  632. Then another time Peter was preaching and it just happened

  633. and they started speaking in tongues, and then we don't

  634. know what happened when Paul got the baptism of the

  635. Holy Spirit.

  636. We know that he eventually spoke in tongues.

  637. But here's something that is not a pattern, something that

  638. exclusively happened every single time somebody got the baptism of

  639. the Holy Ghost, is that they they were empowered in

  640. boldness of witness. They told people about Jesus. Now, I

  641. personally believe that when you receive the baptism of the

  642. Holy Spirit, you speak in tongues.

  643. But I can't look and say that I know that.

  644. I know that. I know it's my personal opinion because

  645. it happened to.

  646. Me that way, it happened to Pastor Gary that way,

  647. It's happened to so many people I've seen that way,

  648. and that's what I believe. But listen, if you leave

  649. here in boldness, how can I say you didn't receive

  650. the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

  651. But I want you to get all today, Alterton, come

  652. on down.

  653. So if you're here and you want to receive the

  654. baptism of the Holy Spirit, or maybe you've had the

  655. baptism of the Holy Spirit, but you know, it's just

  656. not cool.

  657. Today. You know what I mean. We got a worship

  658. leader that looks like Jesus. We want them hip churches.

  659. You know it ain't cool.

  660. I mean, look at me rocking the I mean the

  661. vintage den them. I mean they're cool looking people, you know.

  662. I mean, look at me, a cool cat.

  663. And you think you know why. It's just not something

  664. that I've regularly done.

  665. I haven't come back week after a week just saying God,

  666. touch me and feel me.

  667. God touched me and feel me. Because you know, I've

  668. had some some sin.

  669. I've made some decisions in my life that I think

  670. I kinked the power of the Holy Spirit flowing through

  671. my life. And I want to come and make things

  672. right and I want to be touched again and baptized again.

  673. But if you're looking for this experience, I'm gonna count

  674. to three. If you want to receive the baptism of

  675. the Holy Spirit. When I count to three, I want

  676. you to step out. I want you to move if

  677. you want to be touched by God freshen you. You've

  678. received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, but you want

  679. to be touched again, I'm gonna count to three, and

  680. when I count to three, You're not gonna wait to

  681. see if anybody else moves. You're just gonna You're just

  682. gonna step out and move because this is about you

  683. and your ability to be empowered to glorify Jesus, not popularity.

  684. This is about you and God. So on the count

  685. of three, I want you to step and move if

  686. that's you. So as I say three, they're gonna start

  687. singing one, two, three, step out and move right now,

  688. Come on,
