  1. Let us all stand for the reading of God's Word.

  2. The scripture texts is found in some 74 versus 1 to 23 and in

  3. the New Testament in Luke chapter one verses 67 to 80,

  4. some 74, 1 to 23. Ohh God, why do you cast us off

  5. wherever? Why does your anger smoke

  6. against the sheep of your pasture?

  7. Remember your congregation, which you have purchased of old,

  8. which you have redeemed to be the drive of your heritage.

  9. Remember Mount Zion, where you have dwelt direct your steps to

  10. the perpetual ruins. The enemy has destroyed

  11. everything in the sanctuary. Your foes have roared in the

  12. midst of my your meeting place. They set up their own signs for

  13. signs. They were like those who swing

  14. axes in a forest of trees and all its carved wood.

  15. They broke down with hatchets and hammers.

  16. They set their sanctuary on fire.

  17. They profane the dwelling place of your name, bring it down to

  18. the ground, they said to themselves, We will utterly

  19. subdue them. They burned all the meeting

  20. places of God in the land. We do not see our signs.

  21. There is no longer any profit. There is none among us.

  22. Who knows how long? How long?

  23. Ohh, God is the fall to scope. Is the enemy to rival your name

  24. forever? Why do you hold back your hand,

  25. your right hand, Take it from the fold of your garment and

  26. destroy them? Yet God might king is from old

  27. working salvation in the midst of the earth.

  28. You divided the sea by your mind.

  29. You broke the heads of the sea monsters on the waters.

  30. You crashed the heads of the Leviathan.

  31. You gave him a spoon for the creatures of the wilderness.

  32. You split open springs and brooks.

  33. You dry it up every flowing streams.

  34. Yours is a day, yours also the night.

  35. You establish the heavenly lights and the sun.

  36. You fix all the boundaries of the earth.

  37. You have made summer and winter. Remember these Ohh Lord, how the

  38. enemies golf in a foolish people reviles your name.

  39. Do not deliver the soul of your dog to the wild beast.

  40. Do not forget the life of your poor forever.

  41. Have regard for the covenant, for the dark places of the land

  42. are full of the habitations of violence.

  43. Let not the downtrodden turn back in shame.

  44. Let the poor and needy praise your name.

  45. Arise, Oh God, defend your cause.

  46. Remember how foolish. Scoff at you all day.

  47. Do not forget the clamour of your foes, the uproar of those

  48. who rise against you, which goes up continually.

  49. And in Luke chapter one, verse 67 to 80.

  50. And his Father's Acharya was filled with the Holy Spirit and

  51. prophesied, saying, Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel.

  52. For he has visited and redeemed his people, and has raised up a

  53. horn of salvation for us in the House of his servant David, as

  54. he spoke with the mouth of his holy prophets from of old, that

  55. we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all

  56. who hate us, to show mercy, promise to our fathers, to

  57. remember his only covenant. The oath that he swore to our

  58. father Abraham, to grant us that we being delivered from the hand

  59. of our enemies, might serve him without fear in holiness and

  60. righteousness before him all our days.

  61. And you, child, will be called the Prophet of the Most High.

  62. For you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways to give

  63. knowledge of salvation to His people and the forgiveness of

  64. their sins, because of the tender mercy of God, whereby the

  65. sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who

  66. sit in darkness and in the shadow, that the guide our feet

  67. in the way of peace. And the child grew and became

  68. strong in spirit, and he was in the wilderness until the day of

  69. his public appearance to Israel. Let us come to the Lord in

  70. prayer, gracious God, our Heavenly Father, at the

  71. beginning of this Advent season. We come with hearts full of

  72. anticipation and gratitude. We acknowledge your sovereignty

  73. over all things, including the time and seasons.

  74. In this season of Advent, we are reminded of the whole peace,

  75. joy, and love that your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and

  76. Saviour, brought into the world. As we prepare to delve into Your

  77. Word, open our hearts, our minds to receive your message that You

  78. have for us today. And may the light of Christ

  79. illuminate our understanding and may Holy Spirit guide us into

  80. the deeper truths we recognise our need for Your grace and

  81. mercy, and we humbly ask for Your presence to be with us.

  82. Your Church prepare us, Lord, with a celebration of crisis

  83. birth, not just in remembrance, but with the renewed sense of

  84. worship, of wonder and of all, and a grateful service to you

  85. and your Church. In Jesus name we pray.

  86. Amen. Marina.

  88. I remember your congregation. A double I ceremony have been

  89. reached. The pastor Noli Malibu on on

  95. family in the Bible. Studies are passing specifically

  96. Antipolo Pala I. It has grown after 15 years to

  100. to time Bumabalik Philippines paramount minister young last

  101. was February this year para podence.

  102. I think it was the couple's retreat.

  103. No couples retreat, so input on title Nothing.

  104. Remember your congregation Mama Kapatid aluminating recently?

  105. It has been just 57 days, or almost two months, since the

  106. October 7 attacks by the Hamas, Sai Israel.

  107. It was a blazon, blatant infiltration, anti Israeli towns

  108. and army bases. And it was the worst breach of

  109. Israel's defenses in 50 years. They are young, strongest

  110. military in the Middle East was rendered powerless to fight back

  111. against a far weaker enemy. Villages was left defenseless

  112. for almost a day because of these squads of terrorists.

  113. So you're reckoning poor. There was about 1200 Israelis

  114. that died. This includes Israeli soldiers,

  115. includes civilians, old women alike, children I nagging

  116. hostage. Then about probably 200

  117. Israelites were hostages were made hostage by the Hamas 4

  118. military camps spread is about 30 square miles of Israeli

  119. territory and there were a large number of casualties which

  120. prompted the Israeli army to launch air ground and strikes on

  121. Gaza. At it persists I think until

  122. today the Carolina counting ceasefire for humanitarian

  123. reasons but you totally non death is about 11,000 and it

  124. should probably increase young text will nothing is also a sum

  125. of lament by Israel at Nakata and pour it is similar to the

  126. October 7 Hamas atrocities now consigned Babylonians anacap

  128. destroyed the cities, but in among our fields it their own

  130. Israel, Young Jerusalem, Nandun poor young temple.

  131. And after this destruction in 586 BC, they took most of the

  132. inhabitants back to Babylon as leaves.

  133. So the exile would last for about 70 years before they will

  134. be allowed to return by the Persian king to rebuild their

  135. land and their temple. Kaya Humana.

  136. Babylonians would mark the juice and inflict so much humiliation

  137. and sufferings. Sakanila Little saw some Nabina.

  140. Una does the song is would have a lament and plea for the

  141. congregation. Marquita versus 1 to 11.

  142. He pleads to the Lord to deliver Israel from their enemies

  143. because it seemed that God has forgotten them forever.

  144. Then in verses 12 to 17 Marquita nominating denying plea Nang Sam

  145. is say some confession of God's almighty power where he

  162. people from our sins. But in the second Advent, he

  163. will destroy his enemies and vindicate his name and his

  171. read the accounts. The Second Kings Chapter 25

    2 Kings 25 chapter mention

  172. versus 8 to 12. Jerusalem was destroyed and the

  173. temple was burned. Human A Yaman Anandan temple.

  174. Like gold, silver and bronze furnishings.

  175. They were plundered. They were looted and the leaders

  176. of the Kingdom were put to death.

  177. Pinata Ohh. But the most educated, the

  178. wealthiest and the skilled workers were taken as exiles to

  179. Babylon. Only the poorest were left in

  180. the land. The destruction was complete for

  181. Israel. It would have been like the end

  182. of the world. The Temple Lu was the center of

  183. their lives, including its priesthood, including the

  184. morning and evening sacrifices that will happen on Binabanggit

  185. go when I conduct Vesper service.

  186. I own inquiries class Sinasabi economy Bataya page held nang

  187. vesper service Hindi long dialeto 18 seeing a doctor,

  188. Nakai assalam pastor and Landon. He should continue.

  189. But it stems back from the tradition of Israel young.

  190. They look forward to the morning and evening sacrifices.

  191. That was done by the priests. For the Old Testament Jews,

  192. there were only two major historical events in their

  193. nation. Una is Exodus from Egypt and 2nd

  194. is the Babylonian Exile. So even in the most disastrous

  195. event in their history, the juice would appeal to the

  196. glorious Exodus. Sanara NASA Nila Ampalaya Sakami

  197. out of the bondage of slavery and the summits pleads to God to

  198. remember Israel, whom God has called as redeemed, as purchase

  199. a sheep, as congregation, as tribe.

  200. Tina Khattak body to young covenant relationship not

  201. insulting Jose. He remembers in Exodus 1516 when

  202. Moses praised the Lord who dried up the Red Sea till the people

  203. pass by, whom you purchase Inalala, Ponilla, Nonaka, Silai,

  204. Nakaraan Donsa, Red Sea, Hangman and Bayan, Akanyang, Binili I

  205. Nakaraan, Inaalala Puni Layon. And that's almost bleeds to God.

  206. Remember Mount Zion where you have dwelt, Sinasabi, Puni, Lana

  207. or just back it. Mukami and man are Pinapaalala

  208. ponilla even to themselves. You Mount Zion is where God

  209. resides. If you want Bruno on Dahil

  210. Quintanilla that it is laid in ruins for many years and it

  211. seemed to the Israelites it's forever.

  212. So the sum is question element to God.

  213. If we are your chosen people, why do you allow us to be

  214. destroyed? It is as if they do not know the

  215. warnings of the Prophets. Napa, Ulit, Ulit, Bennigan's,

  216. London, Babala, Non Profit, Me, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel,

  217. Daniel and many other prophets. For many centuries they were

  218. warned of the judgment that is coming to them for violating the

  219. laws of the covenant. God who made them don't saw

  220. Mount Sinai. They have become so idolatrous,

  221. they are unjust, adulterous that the Lord's patience and

  222. persistence ran out. Makita Puna, Kenyan in the

  223. account of Second Chronicles, chapter 36, verses 15 to 16.

    2 Chronicles 36:15–16

  224. The Lord, the God of their Father, sent persistently to

  225. them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people

  226. and on his dwelling place. But they kept mocking the

  227. messengers of God, despising his words, scoffing at his profits

  228. until the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there

  229. was no remedy. It is a very telling reminder

  230. for us in Abina, Angolan, and Lunas so even under this

  231. judgment, the sum is appeals to God's covenant promise to their

  232. forefathers, Abraham. What happened now to his

  233. covenant promise to his redeem to his purchased congregation as

  234. the Lord rejected them forever. Add to Puma Pasaki manga age-old

  235. question why We don't usually ask why when good things happen.

  236. Baghdadi Kilikina Magandang Buhay Bucket now deserve

  237. banatine. Amanda Bagnetto.

  238. It is only when bad things happen we ask God why.

  239. When a loved one is diagnosed with a terminal sickness like

  240. cancer? When one has an accident?

  241. When one has lost a job, or probably when one is in dire

  242. straits, Tina Why? And we see many examples of wise

  243. in the Bible. Sharing the bed when he was in

  244. trouble, he asked God in Sums. 22 My God, my God, why have you

  245. forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving

  246. me from the words of my groaning another?

  247. He used the same words, the very same words, as he Hang on the

  248. cross doesn't. Matthew 2746.

  249. Therefore, asking why is part of human nature, even our Christian

  250. nature, and seeing the signs and banners of the Pagan Babylonian

  251. army hanging on the ruins of the temple, it saddens the

  252. Israelites. You can picture how the

  253. desecration of the Most Holy Temple was done, and the same is

  254. laments that the absence of the prophets who used to reveal

  255. God's word to them. There was a verse 9 See not

  256. being allowed. We do not see our signs.

  257. We no longer have any profit. Who will tell us how long this

  258. is the worst? Kasi Hindi nila Makita.

  259. How long will they injure these disasters?

  260. And how long will the enemies cough and revile the name of

  261. God's holy word? And this arm is then pleads to

  262. God to destroy their enemies. Universe 11 Tina Nolan Sam is

  263. Back. We lost a little deep deep box

  264. say in Mozilla. The sum is bleeds Kaya, he

  265. pleads a confession of God's almighty power.

  266. Mababasa puna thing in this versus 12 to 17?

  267. Nah if our wise and how long seems An answered, the answer

  268. that he gives is who my tapas Tina.

  269. Nate, Nindi, Para Katagal, Mini Begin, Tayo, Nang, Sagot, Nan,

  270. Salitan and Jose Who is the Almighty Creator who is

  271. sovereign over all creation? Who is the Almighty King Who is

  272. sovereign over all Kings Inverse 12 to 17.

  273. That sum is affirms his confidence in assurance in the

  274. Lord. This disaster did not happen

  275. because the Lord was not powerful enough to prevent it.

  276. This is the same God who divided the Red Sea.

  277. The same God who can crush the powerful monsters like the

  278. dragon, like Leviathan of the canine night mythology.

  279. If it was real. The same God who separated the

  280. waters of the land. The same God who hung the moon,

  281. the stars, and established the seasons.

  282. Therefore, how can this God have not control over the Babylonians

  283. today? Maraming Tao, even Cristiano I

  284. Tatanong Is God in control? Is God powerful?

  285. When disaster strikes Tinatanong Puna then they would say that

  286. God had no control. When the October 7 Hamas attack

  287. Sabayan and Israel. When typhoons like Yolanda Ondoy

  288. good hit Ireland, God in control, they would say that God

  289. had nothing to do with it. When all the bad things happen

  290. in our lives, it is even taught in most churches.

  291. We would often hear God is good all the time.

  292. Yes, this is absolutely true, because God cannot be anything

  293. less than perfectly good, loving, merciful, and just now

  294. parallel and poor. Nothing.

  295. And as we go through the Belgian confession, incommunicable

  296. attributes now hanging on. But when pastors and people in

  297. the prosperity gospel churches say this, they mean something

  298. else for them. It means, first, that God will

  299. always bless them with the good things in this life.

  300. And second, it means that when bad things happen, it is not God

  301. who sent them Sabin panila. Maybe you lack faith.

  302. This is very terrible. It is condemning even faithful

  303. believers to unfaithfulness. That is why the sum is call for

  304. God to vindicate his congregation.

  305. In verses 18 to 23 it always Young, Bayan and Canyon, Kawan

  306. and Kenyan sleepy. After affirming the Lord's

  307. sovereign power over all things the summer schools forgot to

  308. vindicate, not only is people, but his name, his congregation

  309. in the two keywords are remember and deliver Alalahanin at

  310. Elitas. Remember the mocking and the

  311. uproar of the enemies and the scoffers.

  312. Remember your covenant promises to Abraham.

  313. When the Lord remembers this, he will act to vindicate his name

  314. and his people. How will he vindicate his name

  315. and his people? He will do this first by

  316. delivering them from their enemies, his needy, shame.

  317. Downtrodden people are now like doves that are fed to the

  318. beasts, the Babylonians. The land is dark.

  319. It is full of violence. He will rescue his people from

  320. the ravenous beast, and he will send light to his People in

  321. Darkness magazine, buying Pangalawa.

  322. He will vindicate his name by his and his people by rebuilding

  323. the temple. Now the only signs of the

  324. temples are the big and banners that the enemies have hung on

  325. the temple ruins. There are no more peace and

  326. sacrifices for sins and thanks offerings.

  327. No more fees to celebrate the harvest because there are no

  328. more harvests. We not support Lahat Nakawa,

  329. even the fields, and there is no king to lead them in battle.

  330. Where will the King, the Son that the Lord promised the King

  331. David come from? Who would be king over an

  332. everlasting Kingdom? And how did God accomplish this

  333. seemingly impossible task? Paranda paka paka.

  334. Impossible. But in God's Providence, he has

  335. set up Cyrus, the middle Persian king.

  336. He would allow the Exiles to return to Israel to rebuild the

  337. country and the temple in 536 BC.

  338. We can read that account in Second Chronicles Chapter 36

    2 Chronicles 36 chapter mention

  339. versus 22 to 23, the prophet Isaiah 4.

  340. So Darius as the Lord's servant, who would build the ruins of the

  341. city and the temple. And I say, yeah, 4428 he says of

  342. Cyrus, He is my shepherd, He shall fulfill all my purpose,

  343. saying of Jerusalem, he shall be built, and of the temple your

  344. foundation shall be laid. So the temple was finished in

  345. 516 BC and the King Darius 70 years after it, was destroyed in

  346. 586 BC. The prophet Daniel has the

  347. answer to The Who in Daniel Chapter 9 versus 26 to 25, where

    Daniel 9 chapter mention

  348. he prophesied that the city of Jerusalem and its temple shall

  349. be rebuilt by the Jews who will return from the Babylonian

  350. exile. After this restoration, Daniel

  351. says, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing

  352. but after this, this anointed one is cut off or put to death.

  353. There is a Prince who will come and destroy the city and the

  354. sanctuary. This anointed 1 is our Lord

  355. Jesus Christ. Remember that the word anointed

  356. in Hebrew is Messiah, which is translated in Greek as Christos.

  357. So in Acts chapter 4, verse 26, when the Christians gathered in

    Acts 4:26

  358. Jerusalem, affirm that Jesus is the anointed one.

  359. In their prayer, the kings of the earth set themselves, and

  360. the rulers were gathered together against the Lord,

  361. against his anointed. And after John the baptiser was

  362. born six months before Jesus was born, Sarah's father then

  363. recognize his son. John will be the forerunner of

  364. Jesus the Anointed. 1 And you, child, will be called the

  365. Prophet of the Most High, For you will go before the Lord to

  366. prepare His ways to give knowledge of salvation to His

  367. people in the forgiveness of their sins, because the tender

  368. mercies of God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on

  369. high, been as upon attendance. Look chapter one versus 76 to

  370. 78. Jesus is also the Lord.

  371. This child, John, will preach to all Israel.

  372. Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.

  373. He was one of whom I say prophesied the voice, one crying

  374. in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord.

  375. Make his spot straight. The Lord said that I, the Lord

  376. that I saw He was prophesying is Jesus the Messiah the baby born

  377. of the Virgin Mary who was conceived by God the Holy

  378. Spirit. And I say, yeah, Chapter 7,

  379. verse 14, we can read. Therefore the Lord himself will

  380. give you a sign. Behold, the Virgin shall

  381. conceive and bear a son, and shall call him his name.

  382. Emmanuel and in verse nine, six to seven.

  383. For for to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the

  384. government shall be upon this shoulder, and his name shall be

  385. called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,

  386. Prince of Peace, of the increase of his government, and of Peace.

  387. There will be no end on the throne of David and his Kingdom,

  388. to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with

  389. righteousness. From this time forth and forever

  390. more, the seal of the Lord of Hosts will do this.

  391. The longing of Israel for comfort is now fulfilled and

  392. Isaiah chapter 40 verse one comfort.

    Isaiah 40 chapter mention

  393. Comfort my people, says your God.

  394. Listen again to the prophecy of Zechariah concerning the birth

  395. of Jesus in Luke chapter one versus 68 to 75, and it echoes

  396. the words of our texts in some 74.

  397. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and

  398. redeemed His people, and has raised up a horn of salvation

  399. for us of His servant David, as he spoke with the mouth of his

  400. holy prophets from of old, that we should be saved from our

  401. enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us, to show mercy,

  402. promise to our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant.

  403. The Ohh. That He swore to our Father

  404. Abraham to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of

  405. our enemies, might serve him without fear in holiness and

  406. righteousness before him all our days.

  407. This Jesus will be the sunrise, will visit and redeem His

  408. people. He is the son of David, the true

  409. heir of God's everlasting Kingdom, who would save us, His
