The Church Part One: Gardeners and Guardians (Genesis 2 -3)

appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those

who are eagerly waiting for him. Are we one of those who are

eagerly waiting for His return from heaven to take you in your

eternal garden paradise as the church?

Are you diligently working and keeping God's garden temple as

gardeners and garden? And we find images of both Adam

and the Garden of Eden. Before Adam fell he was blessed,

and he delighted in meditating on the law of the Lord day and

night. It was like a fruitful tree

planted in streams of water, prospering in all his work, you

know, free, full Adam was a picture of Jesus who delighted

in meditating on his Father's word.

Day and night, His life bore all the kinds of good fruits.

For Jesus himself is the living water.

Jesus is also the bread of life and the work of His Father

prospered in the hands of Jesus. The only way to eternal life,

the eternal Guardian Temple, is by faith alone in Christ alone.

As your Saviour, repent and believe today for the day, and

not any other day is the day of salvation.

Let us go on to the Lord in prayer.

Our God and Heavenly Father, we thank you for your word and

gospel. May we, as members of your

Church, be united and equipped to work and keep your church

together for the growth and edification of the body in love.

Grant us the wisdom and the strength to apply these truths

in our lives and within our community.
